Who was not impressed seeing the sudden and total collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge after getting its pylon bonked by the container ship Dali a few hours before the dawn’s early light in Baltimore harbor? In America’s ongoing death-of-a-thousand-cuts, that one literally severed a major artery, but it may take a while to know how badly the wounded colossus known as the USA is bleeding out.

“Joe Biden” emerged from his crypt pronto to state that the federal government would pony-up the cost of building the bridge back better, meant to reassure the public, you’d suppose. But perhaps the real reason was to obviate an otherwise requisite investigation of the crash by ship-owner Grace Ocean’s insurance company — since legal wrangling over responsibility would add more years to the already years-long estimated bridge replacement time-frame. And Gawd knows what else they might discover about how the darn thing came to pass. . . rumors of a Ukrainian captain at the Dali’s helm. . . stuff that the ruling intel blob might not want to get out there, especially given the still-murky role of the joint USA-UK black-op blobs in the Moscow Crocus Theater Massacre just a week earlier.

The Crocus op, you understand, was probably the worst clusterfuck qua Three Stooges blob operational procedure in memory, since four of the six surviving Tajiki shooters were nabbed in a car enroute to the Ukraine border (where they would’ve been whacked into silence, since they failed to martyr themselves at the scene-of-the-crime), and by now had surely sung their hearts out to persuasive interrogators of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) — the take-away being that President VV Putin has got to be mighty pissed-off and itching for revenge. Was the FSK Bridge take-down the first repayment for that, lots of people inside and outside Blob Central were probably wondering?

You’d also have to wonder, qua the bridge disaster itself, about the implied reverberations through the insurance industry. Consider that the insurance industry is a major cog in the machinery of finance and banking, since insurance company reserves are traditionally allocated in supposedly safe sovereign treasury bonds. Liquidations anyone? Maritime insurance was already groaning under the burden of all that monkey-business in the Red Sea, thanks to Houthi rocket and drone attacks on the shipping of Western Civ. Are the banks quaking harder now? Many across Western Civ were already trembling before the FSK Bridge job.

While the awesome spectacle of the bridge collapse traumatized the country, it also brought to mind the fantastic flow of ten-thousand illegal border crossings a day, stage-managed by the “Joe Biden” Homeland Security team. Did you kind of wonder how many in that 10K-a-day flow might be the same species of Central Asian mutts who volunteered to slaughter over 150 (so far) Russian concert-goers? Nobody is checking who they are, you realize. They just step on US soil, get issued smartphones, loaded debit cards, walking-around cash money, airplane and bus tickets and, voila, there they are in your home town tomorrow, looking for something to occupy themselves. Thanks a bunch, Alejandro Mayorkas!

Are you wondering what sort of mayhem they might be capable of unleashing any place from Bangor to Burbank in the weeks and months ahead? (And, while you’re at it, think about all the food processing plant fires, train wrecks, and other mysterious tribulations around the country the past couple of years.) Consider that this very week alone, following the FSK Bridge disaster, absolutely nothing has been done by our government to stem that flow of countless potential saboteurs into the country. The news media isn’t even talking about it (of course).

The prospects might look a bit unnerving, wouldn’t you agree? Things catching fire, blowing up, and falling down here, there, and everywhere. . . more of those thousand cuts adding up. Just maybe, the dazed-and-confused (possibly hypnotized) American public, a.k.a., the “voters,” might put together that “Joe Biden” and the Party of Chaos that owns him, are actually responsible for the on-going take-down of our country. After a certain point — now apparently passed — sheer incompetence is no longer a plausible explanation for what you are seeing.

Oh, one other thing, look out for on-the-ground economic reverberations from the FSK Bridge disaster. For instance, Baltimore is the USA’s top port for importing and exporting automobiles. Also, earth-moving and large farm equipment, fertilizer, lumber, coal, and steel. Other arrangements must be made, for years ahead, considering the trucking links. It’s especially an interruption for trucking between the mid-Atlantic / New England states and much of Dixieland. It will affect the transport of fruits and vegetables to the Washington-Boston corridor. Things are going to cost more and we are already in an inflationary trouble-zone. How will this thunder elsewhere through an economy which, despite the japes of “Joe Biden’s” statisticians, is actively disintegrating? The fluttering wings of this black swan already throw a chill on spring’s incoming zephyrs.

Indeed, wonder what the coming week will bring. So many large-scale events happened now, it is getting hard to keep up! Nice to know that Old Joe is promising to dip into our endless finds to get the Key Bridge rebuilt stat!

Speaking of the rebuild, there was a news story about how this presents a golden opportunity to provide minorities and other unrepresented people jobs. If this is the case, please remind me to never drive over this bridge again after it is built….or any other infrastructure that is completed under such an asinine policy. People decide not to fly Boeing these days for a reason…

    httpsXX://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/opinion-race-the-construction-industry-and-the-francis-scott-key-bridge/ar-BB1kEkdQ

“The collapse of Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge is an opportunity for Biden to change the storyline. The bridge, a major conduit over the Baltimore Harbor, collapsed after being struck by a cargo ship Tuesday. It spans more than 1.5 miles across the Patapsco River and, as a major connecting point for the region, will need to be rebuilt.”

“Biden can use the rebuilding process to champion Black labor in the construction industry. If done right, he can incorporate the issue in his efforts to generate enthusiasm among Black working-class men broadly. He can use it to demonstrate awareness of how the civil construction industry needs to address a history of excluding Black labor. ”

“The Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse is a moment for Biden to show concern for rebuilding a vital bridge — and for building a bridge of inclusion for Black American workers in the construction industry as well.”

When did Woke ever conceptualize a catenary? The big problem is preventing the George Floyd Rainbow Span, “feelings made rea,l” from falling down faster than it can be inflated.

    • Ishabaka March 29, 2024 at 10:05 am #

Have no fear, Ol’ Joe has commissioned Boeing to build the new bridge.

      • tuco22 March 29, 2024 at 11:41 am #

You realize that they’ll have to do environmental impact studies first before they commence rebuilding the bridge.

        • BackRowHeckler March 29, 2024 at 1:56 pm #

That in itself will take 15 years. The DEI committee will need to get involved as well, make sure the engineers, planners & skilled workforce contains no White Men, but an equitable share of Trannies, Lesbos, illegal aliens, black felons, gay men, and single black women with at least 6 kids with 6 different fathers. Naming the bridge shouldn’t be a problem as all msjor projects from here to eternity will be The George Floyd Memorial _________.

    • rainmaker March 29, 2024 at 10:07 am #

Black labor? Don’t make me laugh. The crew on the bridge filling potholes at 1:30 am were workers from Mexico, El Salvador, Venezuela, Guatemala… No “Black Labor” there.

      • tuco22 March 29, 2024 at 11:40 am #

No black American in their right frigging mind would be out there at 1:30 in the morning filling potholes. Come on, man!

    • Beryl of Oyl March 29, 2024 at 10:13 am #

Geraldo Rivera, famous for something a long time ago, seized the opportunity to scold us for our prejudice against illegal aliens (who he evidently considers a race) because it was them out there doing the bridge work Americans won’t do.

Except millions of Americans would kill for a public works job.

      • Cankerpuss March 29, 2024 at 10:17 am #

I believe all of the workers on the bridge were from El Salvador, Honduras and Mexico.

      • rainmaker March 29, 2024 at 10:23 am #

Boo – my niece, who is half black, married a black guy, and had 3 kids with him. This guy refused to hold a job for any length of time, and he had some good positions. He was employed for short periods by The Missouri Dept. of Transportation, the City of Columbia MO, a medical lab.. Every time my niece nagged him to get a job, we would take bets on how long it would be before he just stayed in bed and refused to go to work, usually 3-5 months. The bastard finally did the niece a favor by having a fatal heart attack at the age of 38, several months after she kicked him out. I get to joke about it, I say he died of laziness.

        • cowbell81 March 29, 2024 at 10:27 am #

What your niece see in this guy in the first place to want to get married to him, let alone have three kids with him? The saddest part is that these kids now don’t have a father figure to bring them up in the world.

          • rainmaker March 29, 2024 at 10:33 am #

He was a lousy father figure. She fell for him in high school, he was a tall, smooth talker, with an attitude, and she was short, fat and a little insecure. He turned her into a welfare case, going around to all the agencies and handout desks just to keep a roof over the family’s head and food on the table. Mr. Wonderful was happy to just go along for the ride.

          • Cankerpuss March 29, 2024 at 10:39 am #

Cowbell, you took the words right out of my mouth. Rainmaker’s niece’s husband appears to have been a real loser.

What does that say about the woman who chooses to sleep with the man and bring new human beings into the world with him?

Women need to choose better and stop making babies with men who aren’t willing to commit to them via marriage and who aren’t willing to work to support her and the children he fathers. I think if women would step up their game and demand more from their men before they screw them things might be a little different.

Sure that guy was a bum but what does it say about Rainmaker’s niece?

          • Beryl of Oyl March 29, 2024 at 10:58 am #

Canker, she was married to him. Perhaps he was employed when they got married?

In any case, I know a great many women who are surprised by how bad their husband is once they have children, they expect that he will grow up and he doesn’t.

            She had more kids?

I see people here bashing women for initiating most of the divorces, maybe she thought standing by her man and making the best of it was doing the right thing.

          • Jarek March 29, 2024 at 1:24 pm #

Marriage is weak among Blacks – as it is in Africa as well. But the clan is strong and takes up much of the deficit there. Even here, the kids are always being shunted off to aunts and cousins. If they all lived near each other, they would be a much healthier people.

          • BackRowHeckler March 29, 2024 at 2:18 pm #

I’ll bet he was a good basketball player. That gets the White girls interested every time.

          • Ishabaka March 29, 2024 at 4:59 pm #

Women choose – and they do choose – some interesting men to reproduce with.

          • Suburban_elk March 30, 2024 at 8:17 am #

In this world of no social structures, women choose to procreate with Dick Power, what they perceive as. Who is swinging the most dick.

As a committed White advocate, it’s not meant as a self-own to say this, it’s just a fact that in this broken world Whites are lacking in confidence and purpose, and not to mention actual physical health issues, and it reflects in not having confident Dick Power scores. Whereas the blacks have a confidence there, despite and or because of going-nowhere-in-life.

          • Ron Anselmo March 30, 2024 at 2:15 pm #

            Elk – here’s proof:

Two black workers filling potholes on the FSK Bridge before it collapsed. One says I have to take a leak. The other one says me too.

So, they unzip and lean over the railing. The first one says, man this water’s cold! The other one says, it’s deep too!

A TMI, FYI, I’m white and my DP score is an 11.

      • Lyndy33 March 29, 2024 at 10:29 am #

It was probably a white contractor with connections who had the repair contract and he hired the cheapest labor he could find to repair the potholes. It probably was not a job of public service.

        • Beryl of Oyl March 29, 2024 at 11:02 am #

          Probably, Lyndy.

For all we know, the contract could have had a set-aside for illegal aliens.

Geraldo has to have seen citizens patching potholes though.

I thought we got past that “doing the jobs Americans won’t do” big lie, but evidently Geraldo hasn’t.

          • BackRowHeckler March 29, 2024 at 2:56 pm #

They be Geraldo’s long lost cousins.

          • Blackbird March 29, 2024 at 7:59 pm #

“I thought we got past that “doing the jobs Americans won’t do” big lie…”

Beryl, you need to tune in to the Lamestream Media more often…

Why do we need to let anyone in to this country that wants in? “To do the jobs that (lazy stupid white) Americans won’t do!”

Who died in the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge? (Immigrants! That’s why we need more of them!)

“Newcomers” are less likely to rape and kill than (lazy stupid white) American citizens – so let them all in and make this country safer!

And the George Floyd scholarship that is only awarded to blacks isn’t racist. (Only whites can be racist.)

And about half the country sucks down this swill like mother’s milk.

        • tuco22 March 29, 2024 at 11:36 am #

And what would the cheapest labor be?

          • abbybwood March 29, 2024 at 12:44 pm #

            Prison labor??

          • Beryl of Oyl March 29, 2024 at 12:53 pm #

Abby, I wonder what the incentive for prison labor is now? I know they used to want to work for cigarettes (being able to purchase them).

Men coming out of prison are finding it nearly impossible to find the one thing they need most, a job, any job, as a direct result of illegal immigration.

It was already hard before, now they can just forget about it.

      • tuco22 March 29, 2024 at 11:39 am #

White Americans weren’t hired for the job. I’m sure some applied. White Americans are the new niggers in the United States. Sorry if that offends anyone, but how can you say it’s not true?

      • malthuss March 29, 2024 at 12:16 pm #

    • tuco22 March 29, 2024 at 11:05 am #

Well, it should be a given that nobody white will ever work on that bridge, and for that reason (although I realize this is an impractical suggestion), nobody white should use it. But I rather agree with you that the construction will be shoddy and the bridge will develop problems in the future (that will probably be blamed on either republicans or MAGA “extremists.”

      • cowbell81 March 29, 2024 at 11:11 am #

    • Paula D March 29, 2024 at 11:21 am #

How can it be that black labor has historically been excluded from construction
      AND
that black people built this country singlehandedly, per the 1619 Project.

There seems to be a glitch in the propaganda matrix. Luckily, the Woke will never notice.

      • tuco22 March 29, 2024 at 11:33 am #

One of the characteristics of the Party in 1984 was the ability to hold two conflicting ideas in one’s mind at the same time (i.e., the Party increased the chocolate ration and decreased it at the same time). Hence, that’s what we have here in the land of the free and home of the brave. Black labor has historically been excluded from construction AND at the same time singlehandedly built the country. Now you know how democrats think.

      • cowbell81 March 29, 2024 at 11:34 am #

When the FB lie comes out two hours after the incident to declare it not terrorism, you know the blob is in full working gear. Watch the video for clues.
As For what is coming over the border, read Kurt Schlichter‘s The Attack, Which sums it up very nicely. Arm up. Food up. Prepare—this summer is going to be a hot one.

Yes, it was way too soon for a blanket “it’s not terrorism” statement. However it was accomplished, there are probably more such events forthcoming in the next few months.

This comment immediately made me think of something that happened to me this month. I’ve been having a lot of trouble with my internet for several months. Being dropped offline, etc. I’ve been going back and forth for months with people in India that I can barely understand. And they can’t understand ME, because Every. Single. Time. I call, I go thru the same bullshit about how they can’t find an account under my name. Because THEY spell it wrong. Do they ever apologize for that? No. I get, “Oh yes, Miss Cactus, do not worry, I will be able to fix that for you.” Yeah, right. From 10,000 miles away. Just push a button. They sent me a new router. Still had problems.

Then, my phone died (I still have a landline, and the internet is connected to that). Once that happened, everything went local. AT&T sent out a guy to check the line. An actual, honest to God, real human being. And guess what? He was a horrible OLD WHITE MAN. Took him up to the roof, where he discovered there was a short in the wire. He switched everything over to a different wire. Took a half an hour, and everything works great now.

When all the HORRIBLE OLD WHITE MEN die out, stick a fork in us, because we’ll be done.

Ship Collision Shuts Down Soo Locks In Michigan: https://rumble.com/v4m69o2-ship-collision-in-saint-marys-river-soo-locks-closed.htm

    • cowbell81 March 29, 2024 at 9:50 am #

Well, at least this ship didn’t damage any infrastructure, although it is blocking access leading from Lake Superior to the rest of the Great Lakes. Pure insanity. This is what you get when society is built on huge complexities run by a bunch of clowns. They certainly are trying to shut down the auto industry and agriculture by what happened with the Key Bridge.

      • Cankerpuss March 29, 2024 at 10:15 am #

I’m not disputing your comment but how is Baltimore, Maryland connected to Lake Superior and the rest of the great lakes?

        Just curious.

        • Suzie March 29, 2024 at 10:24 am #

Kind of a pattern emerging…Houthis diverting global shipping traffic through the Red Sea, FSK Bridge blocking major East Coast port, American Mariner blocking major shipping artery through Great Lakes….coincidence? Maybe.

Ships that size do not dock at harbors in Wisconsin. We don’t have the capability of handling such sizes in ships. The latest I heard was that this would not affect Wisconsin shipping.

        • Organist1022 March 29, 2024 at 2:23 pm #

Quite a few thousand footers (or close to it) in and out of Duluth though.

          • megabeth March 29, 2024 at 8:12 pm #

I’ve seen some big-ass ships in Duluth, but never a container ship. Not that I live all that close to Duluth.

        • Blackbird March 31, 2024 at 1:10 pm #

It was a 714-foot cargo ship – not a container ship – inbound to Silver Bay, Minnesota, that hit a navigation buoy blocking a bottleneck in the channel. Anything that closes the Saint Marys River will affect Wisconsin shipping.

As a mariner myself, I can tell you those navigation buoys are strangely magnetic. Much like the magnetic rocks that caused Sinbad such grief. I’ve never hit one, but lots of other people have…

Yesterday a barge hit a bridge over the Arkansas River in Oklahoma.

Probably all a coincidence. Any shipping accident is going to get more coverage after the Francis Scott Key incident. It would be interesting, however, to see a record of such incidents over time to see how rare of a coincidence it is.

Same with all the food-processing plant fires over the past couple years (and how many of those were determined to be arson, or otherwise suspicious?)…

The black box failure on the Dali – two minutes before the collision – that looks suspicious. Then add a Ukrainian captain – but wouldn’t the vessel have been under command of a pilot, experienced in navigating the river, at that time?

Ten years to rebuild the Francis Scott Key Bridge? I don’t think this country has ten years left. But I have no doubt millions of dollars will be spent not rebuilding the bridge.

  3. JustinMoab March 29, 2024 at 9:54 am #

“Was the FSK Bridge take-down the first repayment for that, lots of people inside and outside Blob Central were probably wondering?”

My first thought was tit for tat for the attempts to take down the Kerch Bridge, I wouldn’t put it past the evil Puter, though if it were me I would have gone for something more spectacular like the Golden Gate that would make a real Planet of the Apes kind of statement.

All that said, I think the harbor’s gonna be back open reasonably soon. The bridge may take a decade, but they’ll clear the degree and water borne commerce will be flowing again in a matter of weeks.

    • Cankerpuss March 29, 2024 at 10:13 am #

They are already bringing in barges with cranes to clear the massive wreckage.

      • stelmosfire March 29, 2024 at 10:41 am #

They’ll have a shipping channel open right quick. Massive cranes and brave (well compensated) divers working round the clock. That underwater work is extremely dangerous. As far as the crew patching holes on the bridge. That’s a federal highway and those guys all get union wage which is a very good pay day. Those are good jobs if you can get them. My BIL works a paving crew. Lots of interstate work. They travel a lot but he makes a ton of money.

    • mary.m March 30, 2024 at 5:43 am #

“I would have gone for something more spectacular”

      “Putler” doesn’t worry about PR.

He focuses on results. Eg shutting down 20% of our arms shipments to…wherever.

And the cost to Russia? EW practice.

Remember early in SMO, when drones suddenly re-directed, mostly straight into the ground, but one sent back from whence it came.

I’ve been leaning to MI6 on this, but more & more, the sophistication of the attack, plus the results, whispers Russia in my ear.

A an entire personality test could be devised based on which term people use: Tajiks, Tajikis, Tajikistanis.

One is reminded of the Tajik journalist/oligarch, Pepe Escobar, who owned Crocus and knows Trump.

      • Blackbird March 29, 2024 at 8:19 pm #

Jumpin’ Jesus Jars – you still don’t know who Pepe Escobar is? His surname should be a clue: “Escobar”. (Remember a guy named “Pablo Escobar”? What part of the world was he from?) Not Tajik (the correct term for people from Tajikistan). He’s Brazilian, and a journalist (you got that part right…). He writes a lot of stuff you would probably agree with – if you ever read him.

He is not an oligarch. He is not a Tajik. He doesn’t own Crocus – probably never even heard of it until last week. I doubt he knows Trump.

I think it was a cyber attack on the ship by the Russians. They’ve had that plan in their back pocket for a long time, ready to execute, like the takeover of Crimea during Maidan without firing a shot. Biden immediately ponied up federal money because insurance doesn’t cover acts of war.

If I lived in Britain, I would avoid the Chunnel like the plague.

    • Cankerpuss March 29, 2024 at 10:12 am #

That’s a stretch. How could they know that a power outage on that ship would make it turn just the perfect small amount to careen into that pylon and bring the bridge down. I’m all about conspiracy theories but that one seems like a stretch.

Unless, of course the virus they implanted into the ships navigation system actually turned the ship into the pylon……..

      • tuco22 March 29, 2024 at 12:32 pm #

Maybe because that was protocol, to turn the ship a certain way. If it was, they’d know that. Kind of like what the Vietcong used to do to our soldiers in Vietnam, steer them into crossfires.

I just posted above, but I’ll repeat it here: Remember early in SMO when drones had navigation taken over & were redirected into the ground? And one, as a joke, was sent right back where it came from?

We haven’t seen much about incidents of EW since then.

I’m thinking they’re limiting its use to keep their sophistication as much under wraps as possible. On the rare occasion that it happens, they’re testing it on the battleground.

Big Food, Big Media, Big Medicine, Big Madness are all killers to the mind and the soul

    • Heartlander March 31, 2024 at 6:17 pm #

I am sure you’re right that there are a lot of dumb, stupid, lazy Americans out there… but my own frustrating experience is rather with people who are good, decent, intelligent, and hardworking… but who seem to consider it IMMORAL to think or talk about unpleasant things. They seem to believe that if you’re Christian, you’re supposed to just trust God and not worry your pretty little head about anything grim or scary.

I can see what they’re saying… but only to a point. Jesus did instruct us to be innocent as doves… but ALSO as savvy/cunning as snakes. NOT one without the other. People latch on to that sweet little dove part, but ignore the smart, savvy snake part.

Thus, many Christians I know think that talking about politics is unseemly, or shows that your faith is weak.

The other problem is that good Christian people are so busy with their jobs, taking care of their families, and being involved in their communities — in other words, trying to be good and responsible — that, at the end of the day, they just don’t have time or emotional energy left over for things like the fact that we are heading over the cliff to economic collapse, social chaos, and World War III.

When families are struggling financially and emotionally, the last thing they want to hear is that society at large is collapsing around them.

I’m hoping that Eric Metaxas’s book and movie, both titled “Letter to the American Church,” will reach a large audience and wake people up. Metaxas has deeply and extensively studied the history of Nazi Germany, and he says that, like the German people pre-1933, we in America now have a very short window of time remaining in which to stop what’s about to happen.

Naomi Wolf has made the same point in her book “The End of America,” in which she describes the ten steps that historically, every society that has ended up totalitarian has gone through. We are in step nine now, and by the time a society gets to step ten, IT’S TOO LATE.

  8. Mister Roboto March 29, 2024 at 10:12 am #

Well, four years ago today, it would have been exceedingly unlikely that I would ever be chomping at the proverbial bit to vote in the next election (even if I am one of those awful early voters who supposedly represent everything wrong with our current way of doing elections) for Trump and the Republicans, yet here we are. Go figure.

    • Cankerpuss March 29, 2024 at 10:25 am #

We will never vote our way out this mess. Even after all of this Biden bullshit I am still hearing that Trump has a very small lead in the swing states. Nothing is changed. People are still hung up on the two parties. The margin is so close in those swing states that the Democrats will cheat their guy past poor old sucker Trump and win the election. It’s been done before. Nobody did anything about it, nothing changed. It will be done again. They are playing us like a two bit piccolo. We need to wake up and stop being played.

As I have said before, things are not bad enough yet to warrant any monument change in the thinking of the average dunce American.

I shudder to consider just how bad things must get for people to analyze their own way of thinking and make changes.

      • JohnAZ March 29, 2024 at 10:40 am #

Yeah, CankerPuss, the average American will only react when there is no toilet paper on the shelves, or disinfectant. Or weed in the head shops, or booze in the stores. Then there will be an outcry. And the solutions will come from the cartels as the government is worthless.

I have no idea what medicines you’re talking about and it’s none of my business but natural supplements may be useful.

For example, I have found that nattokinase effectively lowers blood pressure. I take 3 blood pressure medicines and I stay as stocked up on them as the doctors/insurance companies will allow but I have found by personal research that nattokinase and sesame oil will do the job. I had to experiment with dosages but I got it close.

When China cuts off our medicines via their proxy – pronounced Buy-den – that is my plan B. The health food store that sells supplements may turn out to be a very good resource for you. Good luck.

“I shudder to consider just how bad things must get for people to analyze their own way of thinking and make changes”.

We appear to be in an unprecedented situation Puss. Various and sundry liberty-minded thinkers look in the past for some time and people when there was a revolution. None of those revolutions look at all like our present situation. No precedents.

        We are in uncharted lands.

There were times during Tucker’s interview with Roseanne Barr when she became very serious, very introspective, and as if to herself she mused, ‘I wonder if this could be the end?’.

The Spirit Itself often chooses Its voice from whomever is at hand. So why not Roseanne? She has had her own metanoia. Whatever. That moment in that interview it was as if Time stood still. Tucker himself was frozen, you could see it in his mind, that very question, “I wonder if this could be The End?”.

How many of us have that that same thought, a still small voice deep inside? Then she roused herself and went on to talk about something she read in the Torah about the 99 percent. I have no idea what she was referring to. Do any of y’all know.

She continued about the 99% and of course, the nature of the remaining 1 percent. What was that one percent that is spoken of in the Torah? I’ll leave it at that. Suffice to say the lady is a deep thinker underneath her professional persona.

We don’t need massive conspiracies to destroy the infrastructure of modern society. Just replace merit based hiring with any of number of socially equitable systems and normal incompetence will take care of it. Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged was prescient in that respect.

I think Atlas Shrugged was the Dark Horse dystopian world that we got. 1984, Brave New World, and Fahrenheit 451 were all out in the lead but it is Atlas Shrugged for the win.

That outcome was the least taken seriously so no one bothered to fight it.

Ships can still go in and out of the harbor, once they get the bridge debris out of the way.

    • cowbell81 March 29, 2024 at 10:24 am #

Yes, and that being the case, why even bother to rebuild this bridge in the first place? Yes, it would be a minor inconvenience in that commuters would have to travel further around the bay to get to their destination or use the tunnel. So what, people got along just fine without the bridge for hundreds of years. People would soon forget about the bridge and figure that life without the bridge is simply the new status quo.

      • JohnAZ March 29, 2024 at 10:31 am #

The problem is that the other two accesses across the Patapsco River are tunnels where truck traffic is limited. The alternative is city streets or all around Baltimore on 695, both an economic impact as well as a commuting inconvenience. People would not forget.

        • Yirgach March 29, 2024 at 11:32 am #

Yes, the tunnels were the major reason the bridge was built.
And that reason was to route all the HAZMAT traffic over the bridge instead of the tunnels.

Also the reconstruction timeline for this project may stretch out much further than anyone realizes due to two antiquated US laws:
          1. The Jones Act of 1920
          2. The Foreign Dredge Act of 1906

These are two protectionist laws which will interfere with the reconstruction of this bridge. They should be repealed and save us all a lot of grief for the next time, but not so much when it’s after the fact.

          See XXX://www.businessinsider.com/laws-killing-us-economy-prices-inflation-jones-act-foreign-dredge-2022-9

          • tuco22 March 29, 2024 at 11:50 am #

No, they won’t interfere at all. They’ll just ignore them. Most of the hoi polloi don’t know about these laws, anyway, and if they did, they wouldn’t care. Their only concern is being able to get from point A to point B in the shortest amount of time.

          • Beryl of Oyl March 29, 2024 at 12:08 pm #

We have laws on the books against assisting illegal border crossers.

          • Jarek March 29, 2024 at 1:48 pm #

Why don’t we have brothels at the border to help the migrants in this way as well?

I have little doubt that many women would do it out of the pure goodness of their hearts. As long as they could boast about manning the brothels on social media.

          • Yirgach March 29, 2024 at 3:43 pm #

            @tuco22

These 2 laws have been interfering in the way Maritime business has operated for the last 116 years. Dredging companies have no incentive to modernize leaving customers with 1930’s technology. The entire US dredging fleet has less capacity than 1 EU dredge. The Jones Act enforces Cabotage, which restricts nonqualifying vessels from operating in inland waterways and from transporting cargo between two U.S. ports.

These laws are heavily enforced by the Coast Guard and strongly supported by the Maritime Unions and Industry.

I worked at a West Coast Port for 20 years.

      • studejack March 29, 2024 at 1:27 pm #

All the major interstate traffic that runs north and south along the Atlantic seaboard passes by Baltimore. Interstate 95 goes through a tunnel closer to Baltimore, and it was because of the congestion there that the Key Bridge was built in the 1970s. The Baltimore beltway was congested most of the time even with the Key Bridge. So this is definitely not good. I have a headache just thinking about the next time I have to drive to the airport.

      • Breck March 29, 2024 at 3:03 pm #

          • Not_GeorgeT March 29, 2024 at 8:02 pm #

The incidents involved with those towers in NYC amounted to dismantling and destroying a crime scene before a proper investigation could be accomplished.

The bridge remnants could contain evidence. Consider they do until proven otherwise by an thorough investigation.

The vessel is part of a crime scene, which follows the theme of this post, until proven otherwise. What is to be done with it?

That huge crime scene in NYC from 11 Setptember 2001 was pretty much destroyed, if I’m remembering correctly, within about 6 months. It was hauled away.

          • Paula D March 29, 2024 at 8:46 pm #

I heard that the ship’s black box is missing the last 2 minutes before the collision.

But that’s not fishy at all.

          • Paula D March 29, 2024 at 8:48 pm #

And yeah, in NY City the commission responsible for investigating fires protested the rapid removal of evidence, to no avail.

That is NOT what you do with a crime scene. But it is if the criminals responsible are in charge of the wreckage.

          • Beryl of Oyl March 30, 2024 at 12:32 pm #

They sifted the debris at Freshkill Meadows as fast as they could.

I asked someone who was working there if they were finding a lot of body parts.

He said no, but they were finding a lot of plastic, like credit cards.

          • Paula D March 30, 2024 at 6:55 pm #

I remember that they found body parts on top of neighboring skyscrapers.

            Because……..fire and gravity.

  12. JohnAZ March 29, 2024 at 10:28 am #

Underdesigned? Hell, yeah. Some clever asshole in 1977 made a decision to buy the cheapest bid and now all that saved money is going to be lost times ten. Good job, government.

Some pundit made a good observation, when the bridge was built, ships were much smaller and lighter and less dangerous.

However, a few observations of what is there.

There is no protection for the flimsy four uprights on the two supports, no concrete base to absorb shock, that ship literally sheared the bridge off its support. The roadbed is sitting on top of the ship.

Look at the channel, The support is right in the middle. You might as well have painted a target on it.

The bridge was designed as a single span supported at two points, not three spans independent of each other. What happens? When one span goes down, they all do.

The evaluation of the World Trade buildings showed that each floor had a support system attached to the shell that was too heat sensitive and well flimsy. When the weight above the plane strike plus the heat of the explosion and fire got added onto lower floors, well we know the result.

So much for cutesy under designing infrastructure to save a few bucks. I wonder how many other projects are waiting for the same sort of accident to “blow up”?

An interesting question that I have not heard asked. Were the control systems of this ship hackable? Has the computerization of control systems throughout our infrastructure made warfare between national economies a matter of a few pushes of a few ENTER buttons? That was the message of the Obama production with the Teslas all piling into each other on the highway.

John shows us how people cling to different aspects of the FUD propaganda put out to confuse and divert people in the various psy ops played on the US.

The pancake theory was one of the first put out there, but it is NOT the Official Story now.

No matter, John decided way back in 2001 that the pancake theory made sense to him, so he clings to it like a toddler with a blankie.

He doesn’t care that his overlords have decided on another story, so he is now every bit as big a conspiracy theory as those of us talking about the nanothermite placed by the “elevator repair” crews working nights those weeks before the event.

The funny thing is, he probably doesn’t even know he is a conspiracy theorist, just like the rest of us, but with a theory so ridiculous even our overlords dropped it.

      • JohnAZ March 29, 2024 at 12:53 pm #

Arrogance, you two. You have no idea what happened on any of OGs Black Swans. You did not even comment on anything I said about Baltimore. You DO NOT know that the floor support theory is not true, it is your opinion, which put up against the scads of other opinions means absolutely nothing.

Do you get off on calling other people down?

        • tuco22 March 29, 2024 at 1:04 pm #

No, John, we don’t get off on calling other people down. The pancake theory rests on the heat generated by the fires melting the steel supports. That can’t have been correct, since steel melts or softens at a much higher temperature than that generated by burning furniture and paper (which, incidentally, in the videos, doesn’t burn), and even so, that doesn’t explain building #7.

          • JohnAZ March 29, 2024 at 3:38 pm #

No, Tuco, the theory I referred to is that the supports for the floors were underrated and when the weight of the upper levels bore down on the lower, the weight collapsed the floors below. Heat may have contributed, but it was the weight that broke the supports. Once some momentum started downward, the below floors just kept collapsing under the weight. That was the theory. Floors designed to hold themselves up were holdingup the whole top of the building, which they couldn’t.

When building are demolished, the contractors blow out the floor supports to make the walls collapse inward, same thing.

By the way, if I was going to blow up the WT Towers as they were, blowing up those floor supports would be a good way.

          • JohnAZ March 29, 2024 at 3:40 pm #

Honestly, I still do not understand how those buildings imploded and fell into the holes in the ground and just filled them up nice and just enough. How do you put a skyscraper into its basement?

          • Paula D March 29, 2024 at 8:44 pm #

You have to blow up the basement first, which is what they did.

Ever hear of Bobby McIlvaine? His Dad is a 9-11 truth teller.

Bobby didn’t die in the collapse, he died in the basement long before the planes hit, from the explosions.
They already had his body in the morgue before the planes even hit.

That basement was full of molten steel for weeks after the demolition.

          • Blackbird March 29, 2024 at 8:49 pm #

            “…melting the steel supports…”

Yes, all (60+) of them – simultaneously – in order to bring both buildings down into their footprints, kind of like a controlled demolition…

        • Jarek March 29, 2024 at 1:50 pm #

Any old cave-dwelling Jihadi who can get a Cessna into the air, and back down on the ground without killing himself – and his white-knuckled instructor – can manhandle a Boeing 767 and hit a skyscraper in just the right spot to drop it into its footprint. You need to put your tinfoil to better uses.

        • Paula D March 29, 2024 at 2:16 pm #

You missed my point. I always talk about the power of the Mighty Wurlitzer to shape the narrative, and I also talk about the FUD propaganda they put out with each psy ops.
They throw out a bunch of bullshit every time and see what sticks.
A bodyguard of lies, as they call it.
And then people pick one that they like and cling to it no matter what.

You proved my point, in my opinion, so I commented on it.

    • Organist1022 March 29, 2024 at 2:37 pm #

You’re kidding with the 9/11 stuff right?

I guess you believe Larry Silverstein in the video, saying “we made the decision to pull it”. As if a 47-story building could be outfitted for controlled demolition, on the fly, in the chaos of lower Manhattan on September 11th. As if he could round up the materials, equipment and manpower to outfit that building to fall into its own footprint, in that chaos, in a couple of hours.

      Sure.

AMEC Construction placed the thermite charges weeks before, on the central core elevator shaft columns, as the elevators were alternatively “down for maintenance” WTC 1, WTC 2 & WTC 7.

        • Blackbird March 31, 2024 at 12:19 pm #

Yes, there is way too much evidence of pre-planning in the weeks prior to the “attack”.

I read an article a few years ago about some Israeli “art students” doing some kind of “project” in one (or both?) of the Twin Towers. In one photo, there were boxes of (allegedly) some kind of detonator stacked along a wall. Of course I’m not suggesting that Israel, or Israelis, would never do anything to harm us – they are our best friends!

Plain ole incompetence and/or mechanical failure is the most likely factor in both the M/V American Mariner & M/V Dali accidents.

Both of these accidents occurred overnight. I wonder if the more senior officers on these ships had gone on their rest periods, leaving inexperienced or less able workers to be responsible for ship navigation. I don’t know. Maybe we will find out.

    • oldandtired March 29, 2024 at 11:24 am #

@PeteAtomic. Agree. Not a US registered ship (don’t know if there are any nowadays). No Coast Guard inspections. No Coast Guard licensed crew. Diesel power, so no oilers or wipers. Minimum crew. Overworked. Maintenance deferred. Maneuvering should be an all hands on deck time. Possible that the Chief engineer was asleep. High winds? Circuit breaker tripping? Ships have a “floating ground” in their electrical system. So a Cascade of Events.

The answer is what was happening where they left, crime. The gangs are forming, the pipelines are forming, crime is growing quickly.

I gotta say this whole ‘Nazi’ thing in the Ukraine/Russia conflict is getting old. I read comments on the RT site: all Urainians are neo-Nazis & SS men. On DW & in the Guardian, frequent references are made to Putin being the new Hitler & Russia the 4th Reich. Apparently WW2 is the conflict in which this current is measured. It’s even spread to the Hamas/Israel war: Netanyahu is the new Hitler, not Putin, and the IDF is akin to the Derlewanger Brigade. It grows more and more absurd.

Sometimes riding around my old British Army Motorcycle I’d stop at this biker bar .., actually it was just a roadhouse where clubs would stop on a Saturday afternoon. For me there was no trouble; I was respectful and minded my business, and they were always interested in the 70 year old machine I was riding. Anyway, I notice some of them where Nazi regalia, SS runes, swastikas, that sort of thing. Were they Nazis? Probably not

          • Blackbird March 29, 2024 at 9:26 pm #

I read an article on the lamestream media today about a special forces soldier who got in trouble for having a totenkopf on his gear. Actually, it looked like a combination of the Afrika Korps symbol and a totenkopf, with the totenkopf replacing the swastika in the trunk of the palm tree.

The swastika and the totenkopf – both ancient symbols, predating nazism by hundreds if not thousands of years, but now outlawed worldwide. Meanwhile, the red star, the hammer and sickle – no problem! Even though communism killed far more people – and for longer – than nazism did.

It’s not how many you kill, it’s who you kill.

            with your test.

So he wrote a book about it, The Creative Destruction of Medicine.

Try a weekly schedule of 3 pm to 11, 2 pm to 10, 10 am to 6 pm, 6 am to 2, come back that night and work 10 pm to 6 am. The weekends are great but the older you get it gradually becomes difficult to watch radar and tell pilots where to go.

All these military-age males are apparently discarding their passports before coming across the border, basically ensuring that they have no discoverable history to tie them to any criminal or political network, agenda or anti-US ideology.
Meanwhile, regular American citizens are being harassed or rounded up based on something they apparently said on FB or the forensically provable cyber trails that are created by everyday activities required to exist in this country.
Given a incentivized DA, a compromised judge and a myriad of convoluted legal statutes, who could fail to find something in any American’s past to convict them of?
So now you have honest Patriots who have been threatened into non-action vs non-Americans of unknown origin who basically don’t have any reason to act honorably. Potential psychotic killers/mercenaries with a blank slate and nothing to lose, on the loose in the land of milk and honey.
We’ve normalized the discrimination of regular white Americans while encouraging non-white, non-vetted, non-Americans with blank slates to come here and do whatever the F they want.

Agree, but we still have our Second Amendment and the right of self-defense, somewhat. The Demoncraps are doing their best to take away both, and sure seem in a hurry to pass more and more bills to take away our rights as if they know exactly what is coming. I am sure they do, as it is all planned for execution this summer and fall. Antifa and blm, of 2020 infamy, along with the millions of military aged illegal invading men to be set loose on the American public and citizens. Lock and load, and train as if your life and those of your loved ones depend on it, as they unequivocally do. Happy Easter to my American citizen patriots.

California fast food workers to get $20 minimum wage.

    Hamburger sticker shock.

Given our level of incompetence, if Cascadia goes down, it would be the end of our country – not that many people would care.

    • Paula D March 29, 2024 at 11:38 am #

Good thing the minimum wage hasn’t gone up in decades, otherwise we would be facing really bad inflation right now.

Odd that in countries with living wages and benefits, like the Nordic countries, McDonald’s doesn’t charge more for their products.

I guess the owners just take less profits, instead.

      • tuco22 March 29, 2024 at 12:18 pm #

Paula, I realized something about our country a long time ago, the events of these last few years having proven me right: that the primary purpose of companies like McDonald’s isn’t to provide a product, it’s to make a profit. Likewise, the primary purpose of our medical system isn’t to cure disease, but to profit off of it. The primary purpose of our judicial system isn’t to render justice but to provide cheap labor for the state and funding outside of the “norm.” The primary purpose of people running for elected office is to have their house on the lake and live la dolce vita, not to better the lives of their constituencies.

        • JohnAZ March 29, 2024 at 12:32 pm #

Like the service, the attraction of public service has always been blunted by lower pay and good benefits. Until recently, under Liberal tutelage. Now, DC has a “minimum living wage” that is embarrassing. They do not care, after the election they will give themselves another increase.

      • JohnAZ March 29, 2024 at 12:34 pm #

HMMM, maybe because there is not as much demand for their products from people who have to live on a “living

        Less profits causes shutdowns.

    • Jarek March 29, 2024 at 2:00 pm #

It’s the basic minimum wage there in real terms if not officially. Why not get kids to work for 7 dollars an hour, right John?

      • JohnAZ March 29, 2024 at 3:27 pm #

You crack me up Jarek. With attitudes like you’re in. With our government (the good guys right?) we will be accelerating as we fly off the economic cliff. Were you around during the Weimar times? Do you still have your wheelbarrow? Why not have $100 an hour minimum wage,, or even $1000, it does not make any difference, right?

        Uh, huh!

      • Breck March 29, 2024 at 7:07 pm #

The minimum wage discriminates against young folks with no work experience, who traditionally started out in such low wage jobs, to get experience, start a resume, etc. Too many people cannot see past the surface of things.

      • Paula D March 30, 2024 at 11:08 am #

Why do people cling to the “only teenagers work at McDonald’s” propaganda they have been fed? It’s never been true.

I went to McDonald’s a couple of weeks ago to buy a cup of coffee.

I walked inside and the whole place was full of kiosks trying to get me to use their app to order.
I waited at the counter until someone showed up. There were no teenagers in sight, being a school day.
The woman who got me my coffee told me she was 69 years old.

Still getting work experience, right? Doesn’t deserve a living wage, right?

      • Paula D March 30, 2024 at 11:10 am #

But it is very important to some Americans to have fast food workers subsidize their cheap hamburgers (in their minds) by living in their cars and working for subminimum wages.

        It’s the American way!

The Midwestern Doctor writes about the explosion of chronic disease in the US, that started just about the time the public was forced to take more and more vaccines.

He includes a speech by RFK’s pick for vice-president, who has an autistic child, so has a personal interest in researching the matter.

For all those who trashed her for being rich, and RFK for picking her, shame on you! It’s easy to sit on the sidelines and snipe at those stepping up to the plate, but it makes you look like even more of a loser, just saying.

As far as her being rich, I don’t care it’s her money.

As far as a rich divorcee buying the vice presidency slot, yes I do have a little problem with that. in fact I have a big problem with these tech types and their undue influence.

Bobby needed money bad, as I predicted he was finding it harder than he knew getting on the ballot in 50 states.

I’m not going to pretend the cash isn’t the reason she’s there.

I’m not going to pretend I don’t notice that this is how they are trying to spin it, by shaming all of us who noticed just how bad this is.

“Oh, look! Watch her lovely speech!” Why, she is the most qualified person ever to comedown the pike! Look at her halo! Autism!”

Eff that. I wonder what she paid for the speech?

I involuntarily heard her talk about “healing”. Eff that too. I know those “healing” types and I won’t be preached at by a liberal.

I could go onto Twitter right now and get a dozen examples of the spin- it’s not her and RFK’s judgement, it’s you people who insist on believing what your lying eyes tell you!

Know what that reminds me of? The Trump cultists and their obnoxious “99D chess” excuses whenever he went wandering off course.

It was an appallingly lousy choice. Shocking, and gravely disappointing.

I wasn’t going to even bring that up, what’s done is done, but I’m not going to be criticized for noticing.

A simple explanation of an onset of other disease with vaccines. The Covid mRNA was pushed and pushed by the government, mandatory in areas.

Almost nothing has been researched on the effect of the S protein on the immune system. Logically, it seems like having the primary weapon of a virus injected into us by a magical mRNA process and created by our own cells is sort of a dumbass thing to do. Let alone do it over and over.

Does the mRNA process fine tune the immune system, cannibalizing older B and Killer T memory cells removing those immunities to create new Covid S protein sensitive ones? We cannot dismiss this possibility as no work has been done to prove or disprove it.

Are we destroying our life long build of immunity memory every time every time we get a vaxx? Also, does it take a significant period of time to re-build the system including a bout of all the diseases that have already occurred? Do we need to get the childhood immunizations over again to avoid tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, measles, hepatitis, polio, etc?

Again, we do not know. Until the disease SHTF, that is.

Spoken by a person who FINALLY is getting over a bout of pertussis started last September.

      What do you think, Neurodoc?

I’m not neurodoc, but I am an unvaccinated RN who just got taken off the schedule for several days because of a plain-vanilla cold. Had to test cov2-negative for 5 days in a row before being cleared for work. Meanwhile, my vaccinated colleagues have each been out with covid 2 and 3 times. I came down with it just once, in `22, despite endless exposures. It’s just an anecdote, but it’s my anecdote.

Apologies if this is a repeat message as my first attempt apparently didn’t make it…

RFKJ was the candidate of integrity and thus – fairly or not – the standards were higher for him than for the other candidates. I understand that his campaign needed $, but the right thing to do would have been to announce that due to lack of resources he was withdrawing his campaign, thus preserving his integrity for future opportunities.

The VP candidate should be someone publicly known and thereby already somewhat vetted so that people have a decent idea of whether the person could effectively hold that office (i.e., potentially run the country should something happen to the Pres). Someone in RFKJ’s campaign should have had the guts to tell Kennedy that this has all the optics of his awarding the VP slot to the highest bidder, not to mention someone with ties to Ggle (funded through DARPA and CIA $).

So yes, I consider her unqualified for the VP position; I’ll be voting for Trump.

      • cowbell81 March 29, 2024 at 3:47 pm #

We don’t yet know who Trump plans to name for his VP though, do we? After the Pence debacle, I am sure it will be someone good.

        • Beryl of Oyl March 29, 2024 at 4:02 pm #

He has mentioned Kristi Noem, the one who wanted to allow boys on girls teams because the NCAA said so.

Then there is Neocon Tim Scott, because he’s black and supports Trump.

I can’t really blame him for Pence, Pence looked okay on paper.

He should know what he’s doing by now, but you never know.

Remember the rumors that he was considering Nikki Haley?

Donnie Jr. said he was working to make sure that didn’t happen.

What he didn’t say was that the rumors were false.

Bird – she wouldn’t have to try real hard to get me to ask her to the prom, but she has made some questionable comments on 2A, that I can’t overlook. Well, maybe…for prom night I could.

            Oh Haley’s out, River.

Ron, she’s weak on 2A but then they all are, including Trump.

I wish when Tucker was interviewing Tulsi for the nth time, he would ask her the question that’s on everyone’s mind, her early ties to the WEF.

          • Ron Anselmo March 30, 2024 at 3:33 pm #

Beryl, you’re right. As a patriotic veteran, she supports 2A, generally, but if I understand her position correctly, she is against large capacity weapons & magazines.

The purpose of 2A, is not for hunting “deer in Kevlar vests” or strictly for personal protection, as they like to paint it.

2A’s purpose and intent is to level the playing field between the people and a tyrannical government. Eliminating or restricting high-capacity weapons, keeps us at a decided disadvantage.

            Not cool, Tulsi.

          • River March 30, 2024 at 6:10 pm #

I hadn’t realized that citizens in Russia aren’t allowed to conceal and carry. Tragically, it made those in the Crocus theater all the more vulnerable…

          • Blackbird March 31, 2024 at 12:13 pm #

I prefer Tulsi Gabbard’s positions on most issues over the positions expressed by almost any other politician. However, there’s something about her shifting of positions that seems rather opportunistic to me. On the other hand, the ability to change your mind when confronted with new information is, in my opinion, a sign of intelligence and maturity. And I like how she is not locked into any party-line dogma.

The fact that the DNC basically blacklisted her in 2020 does a lot to enhance her credibility.

Her apparent acceptance of the official story of 9/11 is troubling, but then again, taking a contrary position would be political suicide. That opportunistic thing again…

Yes, someone should question her about being a WEF Young Leader. I think she kind of answered that once, as she did about being a member of the CFR. If I were a politician, I would accept an offer to join either organization just so I could examine my enemy from the inside, and maybe blindside them a bit.

I would rather see her as President than anyone currently competing for the job. If nothing else, we would have the best looking world leader – now or ever – and maybe that is the best we can hope for anymore. Vice President is a worthless job – better off staying home and baking pies.

I find it interesting that we refer to her as “Tulsi” and not by her last name, as we do with most public figures.

Tulsi, if Trump doesn’t ask you to the prom, give me a call – you have my number…

          • Ron Anselmo March 31, 2024 at 2:50 pm #

Bird – all very good points, and yes, I could watch her surf for hours, rather than watching DJT playing golf or Biden falling off his bike.

Best looking potential world leader for sure. “Tulsi” is more “sing-song” than Gabbard. How’d she get your number?

If I get a call back from Kristi Noem, maybe we can double-date.

          • Ron Anselmo March 31, 2024 at 10:42 pm #

River – as was the case in Russia, the vast majority of mass shootings in the US are in “gun-free” zones – most posted with signage stating same.

Let’s put on our thinking caps and see if we can figure out why that’s the case.

People frequenting gun-free zones might as well walk around with targets on their backs.

Now in Florida, where we have the right to permitless carry, and where a third do, any scumbag thinking about shooting at a crowded gathering has to wonder, which one of these three guys is going to cap me.

She trashed the Democrats, she talked about the chronic heath epidemic, she advocated for soil building farming techniques, she spoke up for civil liberties, and she came out strongly for peace.

Yeah, someone else wrote that speech, because she’s rich. And she gave it because………?

And Bobby didn’t pick her because she is for peace, civil liberties, and rebuilding our farms and health systems to actually created healthy people.

I believe Dennis Kucinich laid out the realities to him at the time he decided to go third party, and that’s why they came to a parting of the ways, and he forged on ahead with a campaign manager with no experience.

    CFN’rs,
That ship did not take out that bridge. I have canvassed 3,000…no, 6000 structural engineers who have signed a white paper proving it IMPOSSIBLE for the bridge to be so damaged. The bridge was taken down by explosive charges, which were detonated with space based lasers…did you notice workers on the bridge? What the hell do you think they were there for? The collapse did not occur where the ship…nudged the center pylons…it occurred at the other end! I also have it on good authority that the Captain of the ship had just got out of “captain school”, and was only taught how to drive the boat INTO port, not out! Also, every Jewish laborer on the bridge failed to report for work that day!

With my own eyes, I saw groups of illegal immigrants, many of them Ukrainians, twerking to strange sounding music immediately after the collapse.

And the toll booths are “manned” by aliens from the planet Zonk who will sell you pizza slices and containers of Watergate salad for an extra buck.

A small can of OJ will do the trick, JAZ. As for the main ingredient, Tito’s Handmade Vodka is the best … if you can find it. This stuff really works; my neighbors, both lawyers, have been vaxxed & bolstered so many times that if they had as many needles sticking out of them as they going into them they’d look like porcupines. Yet they get Covid every year. For them “it’s all about the science…” We’ve never got a Covid Shot, just relied on my Covid Busting Elixer, which has worked out so far. (Knock on wood)

    Today’s CFN is outstanding!

And it’s upped the commentariat’s game. Always many good, but today is off to a better-than-usual start, CFNers!

For me, the high point was this:

“…But perhaps the real reason was to obviate an otherwise requisite investigation of the crash by ship-owner Grace Ocean’s insurance company — since legal wrangling over responsibility would add more years to the already years-long estimated bridge replacement time-frame…”

Not only would the wrangling add years–but finding fault may lead to unpleasant discoveries with financial implications.

I know nothing about this type of insurance.

I know a little (not enough) about homeowners’ insurance. My understanding is that won’t cover damage cause by acts of war. Will it cover acts of terrorism? I don’t know. I don’t think so. Do you people know? Any insurance agents here?

If the insurance in this bridge case does NOT cover war or terrorism, the insurer is obligated, is MOTIVATED, to investigate and make sure this was not due to war or terrorism, so they don’t have to pay and pass the costs on to their other clients, don’t you think?

    Nordstream.

    Crocus concert hall.

    Ukraine.

    Palestine and Gaza.

    Iraq. Syria. Libya. Afghanistan.

And more: Cyprus. India/Pakistan. Central America I could go on.

In terms of human life, this bridge collapse is rather benign.

Lots of people and groups have legitimate grievances, and also imagined grievances, against the US.

Or, the enemies of those who are already at odds with the US government see a chance make Americans blame those groups, in order to gain advantage in the PR war, which could translate into more US government support. Russia being the prime suspect here, is an excellent example, of UKRAINE operatives, or rogue elements, causing this unforeseen event. But Russia/Ukraine is not the only possibility; it could be Israel/Palestinians; it could some rogue Arab-American or Israeli; some narco chieftain; the Chinese or Taiwanese (both do a lot of commerce with big ships…); or it could be an accident.

I’m surprised we have not heard that “off the record, sources in the Mossad have told us that they found evidence in the tunnels of Hamas plans to hi-jack tankers and merchant ships, so it is plausible that as Hamas grows desperate and weaker, they may orchestrated the apparent accident”. Maybe it’s too early, give it a week or two.

The odds of direct hit are low, sure. Maybe it was an accident. But if I hate my boss, I can’t insult him or beat him–but I can discreetly put banana peel or some grease near his car, and he just might slip and fall, maybe a bruise, maybe major fracture that gets him out of the office for a few weeks, maybe permanently…

Who knows. But it’s a significant economic hit, and perhaps people will make the connection between an AMERICAN bridge here at home, and a RUSSIAN-GERMAN pipeline far away, and that it’s not nice when these big, costly structures are destroyed.

    • tuco22 March 29, 2024 at 1:17 pm #

Soc-Det – I can tell you with certainty, that all insurance, states on the policy face, that Acts of God are not covered.

On any claim, if your agent asks you if you believe in God, and you say yes, and he follows with do you believe God controls all things, and you say yes, he’ll tell you yes, this is an Act of God, and not covered.

I have a friend – a devout Catholic, who is an insurance agent. He claims God is all powerful, so I said, then you don’t cover anything really. He had no answer.

By design, over time-connect the dots

We need a critical mass of critical thinkers

Nothing occurs in vacuum, it is all interconnected

So many words, so little action

“We’re at a crossroads of history in the crossroads of truth”.

So find each other and do something instead of this perpetual intellectual masturbation.

Most of us are living in fear, clinging to the intellect of folks like JHK. It’s easy to be a Tuesday/Saturday arm chair analyst. Maybe we should join the ciassinators or the fbliars.

When was the last time we wrote a letter, you know the kind with a stamp.

“All it takes for evil to flourish is for good men (and women) to do nothing”

Our biggest problems are the 20 million illegal man march into our un-United States, hand in glove, with the relentless corruption/cancer that has metastasized throughout our culture.

10% of 300 million is 30 million. I believe we have un-enlightened, entrained people in the US, but many are confused due to the constant “Weapons of Mass Distractions” unleashed upon them.

We need to gingerly reach out and share the truth, knowing when to back off if they are in no way receptive.

Surely we can connect with veterans, Mothers, Patriots who fully comprehend that if you want a job done right, you do it yourself like in “The Good Old Days”.

“Old songs on the radio, drifting soft and low
Reminds me of the way life used to be,
57 Chevrolets, those were the Good Old Days
Back seat drive in movies under a full moon….
I can still remember our favorite tune
Sweet sweet love, ended too soon …

Crusin’ all night till dawn, Lord we could carry on
Nothin’ ever seemed to get us down
Outlaws on the Run, we were always having’ fun
Life seemed so much simpler way back then,
    Now I’m asking why, I’m asking when…
I’m asking you—Can we do it again”?

    Well, Can we?

    United We MUST Stand!

For Peace, For Justice, the Rule of Law, and

    The United States Constitution!

The rather sudden turn of the ship into a direct line to the bridge support needs to be thoroughly investigated, especially since there was thousands of feet under the bridge to the left of the support. Problem is, the Biden administration is not interested in bringing out any truth that makes them look worse than they usually do. The Ukrainian pilot makes it unlikely that any information will be released to the public, especially if there is a suspected criminal action involved. Cannot have any negative light shine on Ukraine when the Dems are still pushing for 60 billion $ to go to them. As usual, the trolls are working to blame Russia, Russia, Russia, without any proof, sort of how ISIS was immediately blamed by our MSM and Dems after the Moscow slaughter before the fire was even put out and bodies removed.

    • Socrates-Detroit March 29, 2024 at 2:21 pm #

@jgalt I hope you did not misconstrue my 1:09 pm piece.

I’m am NOT saying Russia did it. I am saying it MAY be plausible that Russia MAY have been behind it. The Russians certainly have AMPLE motives to do so:

the US-instigated war in the Ukraine; the US-led THEFT of Russian financial assets (how would you like YOUR assets frozen and your ATM card to say “sorry, cannot withdraw at this time”?); the (lame) US attempts to overthrow the Russian government.

Because of this, the Ukraine is motivated to cause this action and blame it on Russia. And we at least one account that says a Ukrainian Captain was on board. It’s the internet, so who know if it’s true, but I saw it in a place I like, zerohedge.com

But I’m not saying Ukraine did it either.

I AM saying ANYTHING is possible, which is stating the obvious, lol.

I AM saying that I will have a hard time believing whatever the Federal Government says happened. I may be more likely to believe the opposite. And that is very sad.

      • Socrates-Detroit March 29, 2024 at 2:22 pm #

I forgot, Nordstream and the Crocus Concert Hall. More motivation.

        • Blackbird March 31, 2024 at 12:34 pm #

When I saw the fires that broke out all over the Crocus Concert Hall, it said one thing to me: “inside job”. Smelled very 9/11 to me.

I also saw an article a couple days ago about a bunch of guys all dressed alike – in blue sweatshirts – scattered throughout the crowd in the hall. They were all quite calm during the debacle, seemed to recognize each other, and one suggested closing some doors, blocking an escape route for many concert-goers.

Cui bono? The “terrorists” (patsies) were “heading for Ukraina”. Ok, Ukraina was behind it, now Russia has an excuse for all out war.

Most of us are willing to admit that our country will kill its citizens in a false flag, but unwilling to admit that Russia (or Israel…) would be just as evil.

Wow. Reminds me of Dalton Trumbo’s ‘Johnny Got His Gun.’

It’s a little redundant because the DoD has already made clear they’d rather young White men — particularly from the south & midwest — not enlist anyway. The action now is with young women like Emma in the recruiting ad, from a married lesbian family, who wants to ‘change the world and make it a more equitable place’; also young men from the suburbs of Boston & NYC who desire to ‘transition’ and live their authentic life as a woman, courtesy of gender affirming surgeons at Walter Reed hospital in DC. Everybody knows overweight black women ‘from de hood’ make the best soldiers, and men dressed in women’s uniforms like Admiral Rachel Levine (Stunning & Brave) make the best officers.

As soon as we get all Navy ships and Army bases named after POC, not White Supremacists like they are now, we’ll be ready to take on the world.

“Who was not impressed seeing the sudden and total collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge after getting its pylon bonked by the container ship Dali a few hours before the dawn’s early light in Baltimore harbor?”

To borrow the words of a disgraced former President, “Mission Accomplished!”.

This is a Not-So-Good-Friday and Easter weekend for all the families touched by the Bridge Debacle.

So, a massive vessel just happens to pick the most vulnerable part of a bridge and steer right into it? Sure… happens every day. Especially when incompetence reigns in all our professional positions and because so many nations are so pleased with how United States Incorporated is asserting it’s anything-but-divine ‘Global Domination by Empire!’ in every nook and cranny of this troubled Planet.

The officially-sanctioned Bridge Story being trumpeted by State Media about as believable as all the horse manure They spouted about the Covid Con Plandemic. Guess what? When one has no credibility about anything… you HAVE NO credibility about anything.

But thankfully, half of America is dumber than rocks and will believe anything Daddy State Government tells them.

Somehow, this Bridge Disaster will be spun as a result of White Privilege and white folks will have another thousand years of hell to pay for things for which they had no role in creating. But don’t bother the Equity Crowd with facts or reality. Those are two things they want nothing to do with. But screw that… and Them.

The Easter Season is about renewal and new beginnings. And if there is anything that we as individuals and the World-at-large needs it’s… renewal and new beginnings. Don’t let hearing of our daily dose of State media horse manure bring you down. Our lives are precious and our times are short. New beginnings start when YOU say they do. And as everything around us is turning green and alive… likewise it is our turn to do the same in our own lives and ways.

Notice the dark. Then return to Light. Just like what will happen to our Planet on April 8th with the Great Eclipse of 2024.

This is such a wonderful reminder. You know sometimes i really struggle with low IQ information and people and I feel that patience and reasonability begin to leave me. My shadow warms to the idea of the Inquisition. So many pathologies to heal. Doctor, which instruments will you be using in your healing practices today? I’ll gather them for you. Lol, and then breathing exercises generally help me reground myself. I think that these trying times are one reason you see so many people losing it and of course this is to be expected. So renewals and new beginning during this sacred season are so critical. It is true.

SoftStarLight: “You know sometimes i really struggle with low IQ information and people and I feel that patience and reasonability begin to leave me… So many pathologies to heal… breathing exercises generally help me…”

Personal renewal and regeneration is easier than many think. Just unplug from the Dark State Borg (in all its ugly forms) and turn off the Anti-Social-Media and always- toxic State corporate media. That stuff is poison to the soul.

As you say… breathe deeply. Then spend some time outdoors away from people and distractions. Leave your small Magic Box of Dancing Pixels at home as it will be fine away from you and you will be far better off away from it.

Healing is within anyone’s fingertips if one is serious about mending body and spirit and has the guts to leave the Magic Box alone for a while. But many have come to need The Dark as they have now become addicted to it.

Ah, so that is why it will take at least 10 years to rebuild the bridge. Honestly i have a feeling that it will never get rebuilt.

      • Ron Anselmo March 30, 2024 at 12:14 am #

Dreamy, I agree on the never rebuilt. Long(er) term, the plan for us is limited travel – walkable cities, without cars.

EV’s are a part of this plan – limited range, keeping us in a smaller and smaller radius.

The bridge on I-695 bypass, was primarily a personal vehicle travel corridor. Won’t be needed. They’ll roll out a reason for not rebuilding, I think.

        • SoftStarLight March 30, 2024 at 4:35 pm #

The whole EV thing is one of the most troubling parts of all of this. They require way more resources and energy to build than regular cars. And then on top of that they have to be charged so hello the energy grid has to have even that much more power to charge all of these cars. That is how you know this whole green ev thing is a ginormous scam.

  36. BackRowHeckler March 29, 2024 at 5:09 pm #

It took Russia 2+ years to build the 12 mile long Kerch Bridge to Crimea, at a cost of about $3 billion. 2 years? That’s how long its going to take the EEOC & Pete Buttpounder’s Dept. of Transportation to figure out how many Trannies need to be on the Environmental Impact Study Committee. The study alone will cost $3 billion, and it will take at least 15 years. Don’t expect to see the Francis Scott Key Bridge (to be known from here on in as the George Floyd Memorial Bridge) rebuilt in your or your children’s lifetime.

One positive here is Baltimore is being recognized for something other than the corrupt, squalid, bloody, criminally violent, crumbling sh#thole we’ve come to know & love since the Freddy Grey (a hopeless heroin addict) riots.

I can’t figure out where to put this in the previous thread, so I’ll put it here.
As it happens, Nicole Shanahan happened to talk about all the things that matter to me, so I got excited about her.

I care about health, both of our citizens and our ecosystem, which includes the topsoil and water.
I care about civil liberties, including the right to bodily autonomy, and the right to refuse drugs or GMO products I don’t want in my body.
I care about endless wars, and imperial looting, and the misery it causes to so many people.

I don’t give a flying fuck about keeping wages and gas prices low, the way so many commenters do.
I don’t think it will destroy this country to have wages or gas prices go up, but it most certainly will destroy this country to continue on the path of repression and war.

So I think she is an excellent pick and I doubt she was chosen for her money.
But I know that’s how Americans judge others, so I shouldn’t be surprised.
Anyway, I might even petition for them, that’s how strongly I feel about those issues.

    • SoftStarLight March 29, 2024 at 5:23 pm #

I didn’t pay attention much to the bad stuff they were saying about her because they’ve just been attacking RFK Jr. at every turn close to a Trump level so. Ok, well those all sound really good! When you say petition do you mean to get them on the ballot? The whole ballot thing and who gets to be on it is so convoluted, messed up and wrong.

      • Paula D March 29, 2024 at 8:33 pm #

Yes, Illinois has some of the most restrictive ballot access laws in the country.
Money can’t overcome that, it takes people getting out and pounding the pavement.

You can hire people, but are they going to actually do the job right?

Or are you going to be scammed by the Democrats by setting you up with people who will sabotage the signatures?

If there’s anything I know, it’s that Democrats will screw you every way they can.

        • benr March 30, 2024 at 7:13 am #

Yep and they are thinking of new ways everyday.
My hope is that THE DISGUSTING Dems get destroyed by RFK to the point they cease to be viable and are forced to rebrand into something more centrist.
If that happens the Republicans will be forced to lurch right of center again and the pendulum swings back towards common sense, sanity and reality.

        • SoftStarLight March 30, 2024 at 4:39 pm #

I don’t think it will destroy this country to have wages or gas prices go up, but it most certainly will destroy this country to continue on the path of repression and war. -Paula D

The above highlights very well how absolutely clueless you really are.
High wages mean the price of everything goes up!
Why you might ask because everything gets touched at every level of production by paid humans.
Some jobs are just meant to be low wage not head of household earnings.
High energy prices mean the price of everything goes up even more.
Pretty soon you break into the Weimar Republic standard of devalued currency and a loaf of bread exceeding someone’s daily earnings. Just wait till your power gets turned off for half the day and you freeze your ass off with no internet, heat, ways to cook food or even have enough light to wipe your ass if there is even toilet paper.

Let’s face it most people get that one pay increase a year which does not even keep up with the monthly rate of inflation much less a years worth.

I got a $10,000 dollar bonus and pay raise and it was swallowed up.
I can already see prices out stripping peoples earning power and homelessness is exploding the decent into third world status is speeding up.
There are so many homeless people in Southern California that the camps are springing up like a reverse Starbucks instead of a clean shop serving trendy music and over priced burned coffee you get mounds of trash on every street corner and people pissing and shitting in the streets.
What kick started all of this?
Ridiculous minimum wage increases and oil prices both effect the price of everything.

We have seen what happens when the US decides not to stick its big nose into everyone’s business we have two world wars to point to.

      • TruthSeeker1986 March 30, 2024 at 7:24 am #

        @Benr

And probably a damn third World war on the way. I live in California, not the southern part of it but still we have massive homelessness in Sacramento just like how it is in Los Angelas, San Fransisco, and many other cities in the state.

        • Paula D March 30, 2024 at 11:22 am #

I used to go to the Sacramento Jazz Festival every year, and I watched the streets of Sacramento fill up with the homeless and the criminals.

We used to be able to walk from Old Town to the Civic Center, no problem.

But as the predatory economy tightened its grip, sucking out all wealth from common Americans, the streets got scary to walk down.

The rich don’t care, they don’t walk. And they live in gated and guarded communities. But the rest of us are down here in the slaughterhouse, milling around together, waiting for our turn to have our throats slit, by some immigrant, doing the job Americans won’t do.

One question I find myself asking with increasing frequency these days is: ‘Why are my taxpayer dollars supporting this project/activity which I – and likely the majority of taxpayers – do not condone and how is this possibly sustainable long-term?’ – On top of which – since there’s no authentic oversight pretty much anywhere these days – we have no idea of what’s going on without our knowledge…

      • Paula D March 30, 2024 at 11:19 am #

Some people are unable to apply facts and experience to their world view.

It’s been 50 years since wages were raised to keep up with inflation, yet inflation is through the roof, while people unable to afford basic housing camp out on the sidewalks.

Does that change the mind of the indoctrinated? No way! Benr got a $10,000 bonus and it was eaten up, but workers should somehow live on $8/hr. in order to keep inflation down.

Inflation is up, dipshits! They have pumped trillions into Wall Street and real estate, they have opened the borders to cheap labor, and the effects have trickled down to the citizens at the bottom, which anyone can see by walking down any street in America.

Inflation is caused by inflating the money supply, not by paying workers a living wage.
This should be obvious at this point. 40 years of “trickle down” economics and all we have to show for it is massive poverty.

And the US does not keep peace in the world. That is also laughable.
Try reading the Fred piece that EF linked to, for a more realistic assessment of the MIC and who it serves.

        • benr March 30, 2024 at 1:36 pm #

You equate minimum wage with head of household?

          No!
Minimum wage is entry level jobs designed for high school kids and kids going to college.
Not saying flipping burgers, waiting tables or running a cash register is not hard work but it is intended to be HEAD of household income.

There is a VERY clear distinction what part of that equation is so difficult to understand?

While we are at it when they raise that minimum wage from $16 -$17 an hour to twenty what does that do to the money supply and the price of everything?
Basic economics would say business simply passes the price increase onto the consumer and thus the minimum wage increase does nothing for anyone as the price of everything just surges up and eats that income increase and everyone elses buying power also goes down.
Meanwhile a skilled worker who has worked decades to learn a craft, trade or certification never gets an equal bump in pay which shrinks their wages and shrinks the middle class.
Passive aggressive Paula with zero argument once again losses the ball in class warfare and marxist rhetoric.

          • benr March 30, 2024 at 1:40 pm #

The US does in FAC T keep peace whether you wish to admit it or not.
Head on over to them garden spots Somalia or Haiti to see what a world where the US has no interest in keeping the peace.

          • Jarek March 30, 2024 at 2:03 pm #

Yes, of course the skilled should make more. And of course the unskilled should make enough to live on. And yes, that means a minimum wage that keeps up with inflation.

You people have a big problem with the second statement. And therefore we have a big problem with you.

          • Socrates-Detroit March 30, 2024 at 4:03 pm #

The US does not keep the peace. That’s a joke. Since 1945, the US was always a major fomenter of conflict. Now it is THE major fomenter.

In the 1960s and even in the inflation-racked late 1970s, when the minimum wage was $2.65, some one making $2.65 an hour working 40 hours a week could live.

By the end of the 1980s, in my opinion, that was not longer true, as housing costs and car cost skyrocketed (you need a place to live, and way to get to work).

            Now they cannot.

It’s not a black and white world, of course.

There are MANY people who are doing well today–they are the ones who rationalize low minimum wages–because they want to get their lawns cut, and have their burgers and McD for as little as they can.

A lot of them complain about outsourcing, but often they are the first to buy lower-cost foreign goods.

But, as the tide of economic failure consistently rises, fewer people are benefitting, and more and more people are relating to those who must work for minimum wage, or those who lost their decent jobs when their employers outsourced them.

The middle class is shrinking. For every one in the middle class who manages to hang on, or even moves up to “upper class”, I’d say 5 to 10 slide backwards into subsistence.

And worst part is that the people who are working this minimum wage jobs and TRYING to carry their weight in many ways have it harder than people who don’t work and survive on government assistance. Not just welfare–tax breaks, subisidies, discounted health insurance–all perks not available to that adult who is working on those “high school kid” jobs.

          • Paula D March 30, 2024 at 7:15 pm #

I just testified that I walked into a McDonald’s last week and there was not a teenager in sight. I can go into any minimum wage operation and find the same, people struggling as “head of household”, even if the “household” is their car because they can’t afford rent. I read that 40% of the homeless work fulltime.

There is no such thing as “head of household income” over here, and over there is “Frankie making a little money to take his girl to the high school bop income”.

That is a myth, and a stupid one, since many teenagers are on their own, and others are helping their families make ends meet.

“Basic economics” says that pumping $64 trillion into an economy increases inflation.
Having workers make a living wage does not.

What we had in the 50s and 60s was a maximum wage of sorts.
Taxes were mainly paid by corporations and the wealthy, not the average worker.

There was no point in raising profits to obscene levels, because they would be taxed, so corporations paid workers well, provided benefits and pensions, and even sprang for company picnics every year.

They prefer today, when workers are gauged, benefits suck, pensions are gone, and profits can be used to buy back stock, pay for corporate jets, buy Congress and have private parties with cocaine and children for sex, instead of company picnics for the families of the workers.

Because…..”basic economics”. Did I mention that obscene profits allow corporations to influence the schools and media as well?
Brainwashing is expensive, but it works.

          • Paula D March 30, 2024 at 7:16 pm #

The US overthrew the governments of both Somalia and Haiti when they didn’t like the ones the people chose.

The Empire of Chaos prefers people to live in lawless jungles, than to have governments that try to help them.

          • Paula D March 30, 2024 at 7:19 pm #

One last point: workers don’t control the money supply, the Fed does.
Raising wages doesn’t increase the money supply, it rearranges it.
Having more money at the bottom increases the Main Street market economy.
Having more money at the top increases the Wall Street economy.

          • Socrates-Detroit March 31, 2024 at 6:02 pm #

I like to think I’m conservative. I’m laissez-faire (though less than I was), for everyone INSIDE the US.

Free enterprise. Competition. That goes for labor too. If labor can get away with getting more money, good for them.

But a lot of “conservatives” don’t agree with that! No, if labor is too expensive, they want to import labor. Or have free access to imported goods which do not have to incur the costs of US OSHA and EPA regs.

As Paula says, raising the minimum wage does not cause inflation.

Too much money chasing too few goods causes inflation.

Raising wages means the cost of goods and services will rise-and people will either have to consume less, or give up something else. OR, the enterprise will have to live with lower profits. Eventually, the enterprise and the economy will find a new equilibrium.

          • benr April 1, 2024 at 6:34 am #

Pretty obvious neither of you have ever worked or more specifically had to make payroll.

No business simply absorbs the cost of forced wage increases.

They increase the cost of the product and/or start laying people off and this is universal with zero regard to one’s politics.
The last option is the one that seems to be happening the most at the moment and that is to fold up the business sell off the assets and fire everyone.

For evidence one need only go to the nearest strip mall all of them now host at least two or three empty store fronts.

When asked they all point to the cost of workers, materials and storefront.

I suspect you two think Bidenomics is working as well.

Not saying printing trillions of digital bucks and spending like drunken sailors is also a leading cause but don’t discount the overall cost is wage increases to business and then them passing it on to anyone who buys the product.

Fast-food minimum wage goes from $15 per hour to $20 on April 1
Thousands of workers have been let go; others have hours reduced
Owners object to being singled out by the new California law

            fox5sandiego.com/news/business/big-raises-but-layoffs-for-california-fast-food-workers

Yep, massive increase in minimum wage means automation is going to be cheaper and everywhere.

            More robots less workers!
Another crypto push for universal income from the rabid progressive leftist turds.
While the import millions more low skilled workers to do what exactly?

          • Socrates-Detroit April 1, 2024 at 12:22 pm #

            @Benr

            No, Bidenomics is not working.

BOTH parties are complicit. Both are deficit spenders, promising what they can’t deliver. The Fed has printed, or “quantitatively eased”, trillions of dollars. Both parties pushed NAFTA and Globalization. Both parties let foreign competitors dump goods in the US in the 1970s; both parties tolerated unfair trade practices. Like Trump said once, “I see a lot of Mercedes in Long Island and Florida, but not many Cadillacs in Germany”.

Well, after a lifetime (MY lifetime) of policies like that, the patient is probably finished, and the end is near.

I agree with you that business cannot “just absorb higher wage costs”.

The business may (or may NOT) have options:

If what they offer has high demand, they can pass the increased cost to the customer.

Chances are they cannot pass ALL of it. Maybe not even part of it.

Then, they must try to become more productive. That could mean they reduce headcount.

Or, they must live with less profit.

            Or, all of the above.

If a business cannot pay its employees some level of minimum wage and survive, then it’s not a viable business.

OR, the ECONOMY AS WHOLE is jacked-up.

But sub-standard minimum wages are simply a few steps above indentured servitude. Which is one step above slavery.

All these clever arguments for “free market”, arguments that I used to make, only work for people who are moral, God-fearing, and have, and LIVE, Christian values.

The truth is, most of us are greedy, and if we can make more, LEGALLY, at some one’s expense, we will do it.

So, that’s why the free market does not work very well, and does not work at all for many people (regardless of whether many of these folks are ignorant or stupid or both, they are human beings).

During the “golden era” of 1946-73, one could live a decent life in the US working a low-wage job, close to, or at the minimum wage.

            Now one cannot.

There were many factors in 1946-73 working to America’s favor that will never be replicated. But increased prosperity of working people and the growth of the middle class did not lead to mass impoverishment for the very wealth, or the elites.

FIRE (Finance, Insurance, Real Estate) led to obscene amounts of wealth to the very rich, who did not work, and to the squeezing of the middle class.

And since the “golden era”. the percent of income going to the top 3% has increased–at everyone else’s expense.

Perhaps you are like me (in some regards), so this is an academic discussion for us.

But the concentration of wealth, at the cost of the middle and working class is one of the big causes (or perhaps a result, or both) of the problems afflicting the US that so many CFNers, including yourself, rail about.

One of the reasons our future prospects may look a bit unnerving may be something not mentioned by JHK in his Friday morning essay.

Some of the comments, for example, by Cankerpus or John AZ and others, following his essay, don’t seem generated to create any sense of commonality/solidarity between average citizens–but instead to do the opposite.

    Cankerpus at 10:09 A.M.:

“The people of this country are damned stupid, blind, lazy, decadent, greedy and morally vacuous, completely incapable of looking at a puzzle and putting the pieces together. I have no faith in the American people.”

    Or JohnAZ at 10:42A.M.:

“Exactly!!! Our population is going to get what it deserves.”

    Or Tuco 22 at 11:20 A.M.
“…so long as they have their cell phones and apps and Starbucks and other entertainment, they’re fodder for the slaughter…”

I can understand this attitude coming from a George Soros or a Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden or Kamala Harris, all whom seem to intentionally enjoy demoralizing, insulting, or condescending to average Jills and Joes but hearing such apparently parallel sentiments coming from supposed right populist dissidents who claim to think and behave differently than our managerial elite–is indeed, at least for myself, quite unnerving.

    What is going on?

    • BULLITT March 29, 2024 at 6:13 pm #

      Hey Jim,
America has always played to win. We always go for the winning side. At this point, we can’t find a winner or a favorite team. On the other hand, we have people who do can’t accept a winner or can’t define a winner.
There is much frustration out there among all people. No matter how hard you try, things get worse. It’s what divides us.
We all know what the problem is. We have terrible leadership. We have no faith in our leadership.
Many people have put faith and trust in our congressional leaders. They thought they were in Washington, D.C. to protect us. WE GOT SCREWED THINKING THIS! We forget that these people aren’t our leaders. Thay work for us. We are the boss. Sadly, we let these people get out of control. Now we pay for it. We blame each other for our problems.
I don’t care how good your local legislator is, vote them out. We’ve had enough of their incompetence, arrogance, condescending, and insulting ways.
I hope we can save America.

We may be the “boss” but they are the ones who control the soldiers, the money, and make all the decisions domestically and abroad. People always ask themselves “what can we do about it?” “How do we take the power from them?” These people believe Trump is the only one who can do anything and I just burst out laughing at them every single time.

        • JohnAZ March 29, 2024 at 7:37 pm #

      @Jim

It’s anger, that’s all. People are pissed off, and I understand. I’m always pissed off as to how things are myself which makes it that more difficult to control the rage and bitterness. Sometimes you want the idiots who walk around not caring to get what they deserve. Just the other day I was on some other website and got agitated with a leftist that openly admitted they are a communist.

Because lets be real here, if the whole country was fully aware of what was happening to it and not just a few people that care, the people deliberately destroying everything, Obama sorry black ignorant bitch ass included. Would be fearing for their lives right now. Look at the situation In Haiti, no one wants to govern that place because if they tried they would get their nut sacks hacked off and eaten by the vicious thugs that took over. Now imagine if the people in DC were under threat by 300,000,000 angry Americans like that or the military stopped doing their dirty work to enrich them. They would knock off all the BS they are currently doing.

      • JohnAZ March 29, 2024 at 7:36 pm #

We still have it pretty darn good in this country. Bitchin’ about it is OK but really don’t take the BS too seriously.

So being filled with anger and rage is AOK? How exactly has the government done him wrong as an individual? We’re all in this together. Let’s make the most of it OK. Bitchin’ is fine. Ragin’ ain’t healthy.

          • TruthSeeker1986 March 29, 2024 at 10:13 pm #

            @JohnAZ

I didn’t just discover this at 37 I was aware of it at the age of 17 years old. I remember when Obama first got elected back in 2008 and I was still in my 20s and someone asked me how did I feel about the U.S. getting it’s first Black president and I told them the truth even before he got in and started doing damage to the country.

I was critical of a lot of people in Government that were planning to do the nation in including the ones who were doing it long before I got more involved with what was happening. I don’t know what @Stelmosfire means by “bitching” this is exactly what I was talking about before.

I get called out all the time on here by people and I don’t know why they think it’s okay to pick on me.

I’m sorry if I can’t fake my own happiness, but telling me “we got it pretty good in this country.” Is a lie, that would be like someone in Europe saying “we got it pretty good in this country” even with the inflow of invaders pouring in.

Seems like to me, everyone on here “Bitches” about something you just do it differently than I do it if I’m guilty of it. You may not use profanity as much as I do, you may not come off as ball fisted as I am about a situation. But I read through all the comments on here from top to bottom when I’m not doing anything else and if I were going to single out people like people are always doing to me, I can start naming a bunch of people who come off as “bitchy”.

As far as people not wanting to be around me lol, the majority of you are in the same position I’m in. You can only hang with people that think like you do. I’m fully aware of my anger. Part of it is mental issue related, the other half is just anger at the direction things are going in. What Stelmosfire doesn’t realize here is that people have various ways of expressing anger. It may not be “healthy” but I could be out doing a lot worse to express how I feel…

          • kbird March 29, 2024 at 10:54 pm #

            Truthseeker,
While we have differing views on things, I can agree with you that there’s plenty of “bitching” on here by others as well.
I have a relative who is very similar to you, and has spent years holed up worrying about everything. Most of the things she has worried about have never happened.

We only live once, and there is still joy out there. I know you aren’t asking for advice, but I just want to say if you can find some balance. You can still express things as you do and feel the way you do, but if you can find something each day that makes you happy. It doesn’t have to be something huge, but just find a little joy in each day. I know it’s easier said than done, and sounds like you might feel some depression and that can make things worse, and I’m sorry you’re going through this. Just some empathy from one human to another, all politics aside.

It is a horrible shock when one first realizes that Washington DC is not well-meaning bumbling idiots but is, instead, a cabal of pedo evil Satanists. That shock has snapped many a mind.

In order to move through and past it, one needs to (imho) focus on what is in one’s control and accept what, no matter how corrupt and evil, is beyond one’s command. Note: “Accept” does not mean “approve of.”

TS is at a great disadvantage in this thinking, however, as he denies God. Knowing God allows one to be comfortable in one’s place. Knowing God takes the worry out of the dreaded future. Knowing God is salvation.

    • Ron Anselmo March 29, 2024 at 11:14 pm #

John – check out the Chapwood Index for real inflation.

Simple metrics – a basket of the top 500 consumer items, prices measured every six months in the 50 largest US cities.

Check it, some cities clocking in at 18% per annum. Many at 12%-15% plus.

Using the rule of 72, in an 18% rate environment, prices double every 4 years – at 12%, prices double every 6 years.

The price progression is geometric, not linear. A new car costing $20K, becomes $40K four years later, and doubles again to $80K, over eight years.

      Sound familiar? Think Ford F-150.

Anyone that’s been getting 12%-18% annual raises or Social Security COLA’s, raise your hand. Anyone?

          • Ron Anselmo March 30, 2024 at 12:33 am #

John – I believe that SS COLA’s are legally required to be based upon the US Gov published CPI, so it’s kept artificially low.

As you well know, the unfunded liabilities of SS and Medicare make both insolvent, even at the current rates, and they’ll never be solvent. Ever.

It’s folly to imagine those entitlements paid out at rates reflecting actual real inflation. That’s precisely why the elderly – on fixed incomes – are burning through their money and going broke.

A 2.8% COLA, when prices are clocking in at 12%-15%-18%, not hard to figure out – even for liberal slow learners or shouldn’t be anyway.

Biden and his blob Democrat Socialist handlers don’t give a crap about what destroyed bridges, hordes of illegal aliens invading the U.S., criminals turned loose by Soros judges and DA’s, and out-of-control weaponized federal bureaucrat thugs to impoverish, persecute, jail, and murder law-abiding American citizens. In fact, that is the exact result that they want to happen.

The Democrat Socialists (who manage to be the worst of both Communist/Socialists and Fascist/Socialists) know that America 1776-2024 must be destroyed to bring about what can be best called the Fourth Reich, with the Democrats in charge. Killing off a few tens of millions of American citizens–especially anyone who opposes the Democrat regime–will be just fine with the Democrat elite.

The Democrats also don’t care about actually “winning” the 2024 election. Look at what they are doing: enacting every ridiculous regulation, government policy, and pursuing every tool of economic destruction that will enrage nearly every sensible group of honest, working Americans. The Democrats don’t care that they are doing that because they have no intention of allowing the 2024 election to be fair, if they allow it to happen at all.

This week should show that reality to everyone with a functioning brain. Biden snubs every local law enforcement officer in the country by attending a political fund-raiser with his elite corporatist Socialist/Fascist cronies and Biden’s actual handlers–Obama and Clinton, while he completely ignores the wake for a brutally slain NYC police officer. An officer slain by one of the Democrat army’s mercenaries–a criminal coddled and repeatedly released onto the streets by Democrat scum judges and parole boards.

Meanwhile, Biden promises hefty federal goodies to rebuild the destroyed bridge in Baltimore while, two days later, he moves forward to enact ridiculous and impractical diesel engine emission regulations that will guarantee that there will be few, if any, diesel trucks around to run over the bridge, or anywhere else. People living in cities better learn to eat their own shit and like it if Biden and the Democrats get re-elected in 2024 because that is all that there will be around to eat–except maybe each other.

Speaking of Hamas guess who is throwing money at them for yet another Marxist color revolution! ****Schwartz György*** aka George Soros

Soros Funding Group Associated With Hamas

Billionaire George Soros has donated at least $1 million this past decade to a group with strong ties to the terrorist organization, Hamas.

According to the Washington Examiner, the Democrat megadonor has been funding the Al Mezan Center for Human Rights since 2012.

Jonathan Kaplan, the spokesperson for Soros’ Open Society Foundations (OSF), provided a statement to the Examiner reaffirming the organization’s ongoing support for Al Mezan.

The Foundation “is proud to be among the many international funders of Al Mezan, alongside the European Union and governments including Sweden and the Netherlands,” Kaplan stated.

With the help of OSF, Al Mezan has evolved into a well-financed initiative aiming to exert pressure on the United Nations to support the International Criminal Court in indicting Israeli officials over alleged “war crimes and crimes against humanity.”

Soros’ grant to the group, which is led by Palestinian politician Kamal El-Sharafi, is meant to be used “to monitor and document violations against Palestinians and pursue accountability for abuses,” as well as to track “human rights and international humanitarian law violations in the Gaza Strip.”

Sharafi has connections with many prominent Palestinian figures, including with Jamil Mazhar. Mazhar was recently announced as the new Head Deputy Secretary General of the group Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).

Following the attack on Israel on October 7th, Al Mezan along with Al-Haq, released a statement blaming the Jewish State for having the nerve to retaliate against Hamas. Al-Haq is an Israeli-designated terrorist organization that is also funded by Soros.

    • SoftStarLight March 30, 2024 at 5:17 pm #

        SSL,
I think nobody knew about it because it’s every year on March 31st….And Easter changes from year to year. So now it falls on Easter THIS year, can’t really say that’s Joe Bidens fault. He did mention it and so now we all know about it, but next year Easter will be on April 20th…

      Beryl Of Oyl,

We are, Mac. The Bidens also banned any religious symbols from the White House Easter egg hunt.

Just in case we didn’t get the message from his revolting and disgusting proclamation on the holiest day in Christendom.

      • Beryl of Oyl March 31, 2024 at 10:02 am #

        I’m aware of that, kbird.

He still issued a proclamation declaring this Easter Sunday a trans day of visibility.

        • kbird March 31, 2024 at 10:48 am #

          Beryl,
I thought that was strange as well, so I did a little reading and found that he issues the identical proclamation every March 31st since he was in office. You can find it on the White house gov website, the exact same one on 2021, 2022, 2023 and now 2024.

          • Beryl of Oyl March 31, 2024 at 12:14 pm #

            Yes kbird I know.

I am of the opinion that being as this year, the day coincided with Easter Sunday, he shoud have held off with his proclamation or done without it altogether.

There is no law forcing him to issue his proclamation as it isn’t even a legal federal holiday.

Also IMO it would be wrong for him to issue a proclamation for anything else but Easter on Easter Sunday.

When they came up with the disgusting idea in the first place, they may or may not have known it had a high likelihood of interfering with the Easter season. They should have known, though.

They have people paid to know these kinds of things.

          • kbird March 31, 2024 at 1:25 pm #

            Beryl,
I’m honestly really curious…what exactly do you hate about Trans people? Their decision doesn’t hurt anybody. Wouldn’t it be better to direct your hatred to a group who are hurting people every day? Statistics show that between June 2017 and June 2018, the Catholic church spent over 200 million dollars settling sexual abuse cases involving priests and children. During this same period, the church had to deal with an additional 1000 plus credible allegations of priests molesting children. Yet, only a tiny fraction of these pedophiles have met with any significant disciplinary action. How many of these pedophile Priests do you think are celebrating the religious holiday of Easter right now? If you’re really concerned about the welfare of our Nations children, shouldn’t you turn your hatred to these pedophile priests, and the so-called Christian institution that enables them. Especially, on this “Holiest Day of the Year?”

            Your thoughts?

          • Paula D March 31, 2024 at 8:16 pm #

When Joe Biden issues a proclamation declaring a Day Of Pedophile Priests, then it will be of equal concern.

When they let Catholic priests dressed like whores into public schools to read books to children, then it will be of equal concern.

When Catholic priests are allowed into women’s bathrooms, sports, locker rooms, prison cells, rape centers, and showers, then it will be of equal concern.

When they teach preschoolers that they just may have a Catholic priest brain trapped inside their protestant bodies, and they need catechism, surgery, and drugs to fix it, then it will be of equal concern.

Until then, you can use your whataboutism for comparing US imperialism and mass murder to the rest of the world, and see how it measures up.
Oh, and compare Catholic pedophile Biden to the other candidates, while you’re at it.

The last words of Ragnar Lothbrok, taken from the Krakumal

    We hewed with the brand!
South we played at war with three kings, the blood of the Irish dyed the sea,
Then stormed we to the sword-play at the river-mouth of Anglesey,
No kissing of a girl was it to fight as we fought there.

    We hewed with the brand!
Little did I wot that at the hands of Ella my death should come!
Yet what boots it? None can withstand his fate and well is it
To quaff the mead in skull-boughs drinking horns in the great hall of Odin.

    We hewed with the brand!
Before cold death does no brave man quail; no thought of fear have I.
Soon with the battle wake when Aslaug’s sons their bitter blades unsheath,
Soon will they learn the manner of my death, stout hearts of their brave mother!

    We hewed with the brand!
My life is well-nigh o’er; sharp is the pang that the serpent gives.
    Goinn the Snake, nests deep in my heart. No more will my children rest;
Great wrath will be theirs at the undoing of their sire.

    We hewed with the brand!
Full gladly do I go! See the Valkyrjar fresh from Odin’s halls!
High-seated among heroes shall I quaff the yellow-mead.
The Aesir welcome me. Laughing gladly do I die!

Jarek: Indeed, what boots it? We will go our way one way or another. Did we hew with the brand? Do we go gladly? Can we go full gladly? Laughing?

    Barnhardt

The Office of Tenebrae is my favorite Liturgical event of the year, and the sixth reading of the second night of Tenebrae is St. Augustine’s treatise on the question. It couldn’t be any clearer. I post it in full here, again, because this is literally going to be declared illegal at the rate we’re going in Clown World:

    Reading 6
They whetted their tongue like a sword. The Jews cannot say: We did not murder Christ, albeit they gave Him over to Pilate His judge, that they themselves might seem free of His death. For when Pilate said unto them, Take ye Him: and kill Him, they answered, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death. They could throw the blame of their sin upon a human judge: but did they deceive God, the Great Judge? In that which Pilate did, he was their accomplice, but in comparison with them, he had far the lesser sin. Pilate strove as far as he could, to deliver Him out of their hands; for the which reason also he scourged Him, and brought Him forth to them. He scourged not the Lord for cruelty’s sake, but in the hope that he might so slake their wild thirst for blood: that, perchance, even they might be touched with compassion, and cease to lust for His death, when they saw What He was after the flagellation. Even this effort he made! But when Pilate saw that he could not prevail, but that rather a tumult was made, ye know how that he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying: I am innocent of the blood of this Just Person. And yet he delivered Him to be crucified! But if he were guilty who did it against his will, were they innocent; who goaded him on to it? No. Pilate gave sentence against Him. and commanded Him to be crucified. But ye, O ye Jews, ye also are His murderers! Wherewith? With your tongue, whetted like a sword. And when? But when ye cried, Crucify Him! Crucify Him!

Let’s go back to Pontius Pilate’s court. Pilate knows Our Lord is innocent and does NOT want to execute Him, but the Jews, led by the High Priest and the Sanhedrin have threatened Pilate – they have threatened his life, and almost no one today understands this. Pilate was terrified for his life and the life of his family and all of the men serving under him, which Mel Gibson alluded to in “The Passion of The Christ” in the scene between Pilate and his wife, Claudia, in which Pilate expresses the pressure he is under from Rome. But even Gibson’s treatment doesn’t fully explain how deep Pilate’s fear was.

Did you know that there was a man named Lucius Aelius Sejanus, who was the head of the Praetorian Guard, and was essentially the number 2 to Tiberius Caesar? When Tiberius withdrew to the Isle of Capri in ARSH 26 (some of you may have been to Capri as tourists, apparently it is very beautiful), Sejanus was left to essentially administer the entire Roman Empire. Sejanus, not Tiberius Caesar, APPOINTED PONTIUS PILATE the governor of Judea. So Pilate was Sejanus’ boy, not Tiberius’. Sejanus was executed by Tiberius in AD 31 – note that date, folks – because pretty much everyone suspected Sejanus of plotting to take over. SO, when the Perfidious Jews, led by the High Priest and Sanhedrin in Pilate’s Court yelled out to Pilate…

“If thou release this man, thou art not Caesar’s friend. For whosoever maketh himself a king, speaketh against Caesar.” — John 19: 12

…what they were doing was threatening Pilate’s life – they were threatening to have Pilate and his entire family and all of Pilate’s men “canceled” and “Arkancided” by denouncing him as not loyal to Tiberius, and rather loyal to the Sejanus faction. “Not Caesar’s friend,” but rather “Sejanus’ friend.” Which would have meant torture and execution for Pilate, and his family, and all of Pilate’s men.

    Isn’t. That. Interesting.

Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose, non?

And just so we’re clear, as we see in the Sixth Lesson of Tenebrae of Thursday night-Friday morning, St. Augustine says that Pilate, even under intense coercion of his own torture and death and that of his family is still guilty, but less so than the Jews. Yes, succumbing to coercion, even the most severe coercion, does not absolve guilt. WE MUST DO THE RIGHT, NO MATTER THE COST.

“By the very fact of doing what he did, Pilate became a sharer in their crime; but compared with them he was much less guilty.”

But Pilate was still guilty. Because “much less guilty” is still guilty. WE are called by Our Lord to “be perfect”, that is, to not succumb to coercion AT ALL. It’s not okay to fold in fear, find an easy way out, and wash your hands of the mess, being content with being merely “much less guilty.” Pontius Pilate is NOT a moral example to anyone. In fact, he is a dire warning against the temptation to succumbing to coercion.

And so we see the reason why the Jews in this context are referred to by Holy Mother Church as the PERFIDIOUS Jews: because if what they did to leverage Pilate isn’t the definition of perfidiousness, then I don’t know what is. Perfidy is TREACHERY. The Latin word perfidy means TREACHERY. And it is essential that the qualifier PERFIDIOUS be used, because there were righteous Jews, most prominently the two Pharisees and members of the Sanhedrin, Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus. The qualifier “perfidious” isn’t a sloppy ethnic smear, it’s an essential distinction. No human beings are “locked-in” to moral degeneracy and “born damned” because of their DNA. Christ’s Passion, Death and Resurrection REDEEMED ALL OF HUMANITY. The question of each individual’s possible SALVATION is a corollary to the antecedent fact of the REDEMPTION, ACCOMPLISHED AND IRREVERSIBLE. All people with the use of reason are free to choose. Just because a large percentage of a given race choose poorly, doesn’t mean that they weren’t – every single one of them – free to make that choice.

Like I said, I’ve been thinking a lot about Pilate this year. Pious tradition holds that Pilate met his tragic end in the mountains of Central Italy. Having eventually returned to “Rome”, local tradition holds that Pilate committed suicide by drowning himself in a small, high mountain lake on the border between Umbria and the Marche region in Italy. The Lake exists to this day, and is called “The Lake of Pilate”. Not surprisingly, it was a hotspot for satanic rituals in the Middle Ages.

So the question for all of us, being that we are all sinners and falling short in our lives, are our sins like the sin of the Perfidious Jews, cold and calculated evil, or are our sins more like the sin of Pilate, the sin of allowing oneself to be coerced, willing to condemn an innocent man to death, in the case of Christ, TRUTH ITSELF, in order to save one’s own skin?

An extremely apt analogy of this today is the Perfidious sin of the BigPharma, government, corporate and media people who consciously executed the DeathJab crime against humanity – Donald Trump, Joe Biden, Anthony Fauci, Albert Bourla, Stephane Bencel, every media talking head and corporate executive that relentlessly lied and coerced people into injecting themselves with a known poison with the aim of reducing the human population through excess death and sterilization. They certainly have “the greater sin”. But every doctor, nurse, pharmacist and business owner who fell for, or accepted a de facto bribe and participated, even while bleating, “But I have no chooooooice. I’m just following oooooorders…” still have committed horrific sin, and will, like Pontius Pilate, end up at the bottom of a lake if they don’t repent. The “washing my hands of this” pose, exactly as with Pilate, is a delusion.

And, of course, there is the analogy to the Bergoglian Antipapacy. There are the Perfidious bishops and Cardinals that have infiltrated the Church and executed the usurpation of the Petrine See, Jorge Mario Bergoglio being first among them, but there are also all of the other people who are going along with the Bergoglian Antipapacy, knowing full well that Holy Mother Church is under intense and relentless attack by an obvious, observable Antipope, but exactly like Pilate make a BIG SHOW of washing their hands of the matter, declaring, exactly like Pilate, that “there’s nothing we can doooooo… we can’t say anything…” because to do so would mean that “Caesar in Rome” would destroy them.

Our model in this analogy is St. John, who stayed with Our Lord and His mother, all the way to Calvary, and interestingly, died a natural death as a very old man – the only Apostle to NOT be martyred.

So which is it? Which do you choose? Which are you striving for? To merely be Pilate, guilty of “lesser sin” and deluding yourself into believing that you can wash your hands and disclaim any responsibility, saying, “See ye to it…”, and ending up at the bottom of the eternal lake, or are you going to strive to be stalwart, brave and faithful St. John, “the Disciple that Jesus loved”?

I hope this helps, and that one and all have a grace-filled Triduum and Easter.

Jarek: Well said. One caveat: In contrast, the Coptic church says that Pilate converted and died a martyr. Not implausible. Even the Catholics admit that his wife seems to have been an early Christian, one of the first among the non-Jews to embrace Christ.

    • SoftStarLight March 30, 2024 at 5:07 pm #

The Coptic church has a lot of different and interesting beliefs compared to your everyday Christianity. For example I think its the Ethiopian Coptic Bible that includes the Book of Enoch. The Western church removed that though a long time ago.

      • JohnAZ March 30, 2024 at 9:01 pm #

Most of the Coptic Gospels were declared heretical by the Nicene Conference that set the base dogma for the Catholic Church. The New Testament was put together at that Conference along with a creed that is repeated to this day.

However, anything contrary to the model the bishops wanted, the male dominated, priest driven model that exists today, was declared heretical and not allowed into the conversation and the Bible.

        Things like:

Gospel of Mary. Jesus conversed with Mary about many celestial subjects like the nature of heaven and the male disciples were a little put off by the spiritual intimacy they shared. Mary was a wealthy matron who financed Jesus’ ministry. The RC could not stand her being elevated and instead made her into a prostitute that Jesus saved.

Gospel of Judas. Jesus selected Judas, the “accountant” of the Twelve to do the dirty work of Holy Week, to arrange for the arrest of Jesus. Jesus knew that He was going to the cross, as a fulfillment of scripture and had faith in His Father that He would be raised. Jesus orchestrated Holy Week from Palm Sunday’s procession to the end on the cross. Then God took over. Anyway, Judas arranged for the arrest at Jesus’ request.

IMHO, the disciples and other followers went into Holy Week not understanding what was going to happen, that Jesus was going to be executed. That included Judas. They wanted the military Messiah that was going to destroy the Romans riding on fiery chariots. Peter, number one, denied Him thrice, the other took off into hiding. They just did not understand.

Only Mary Magdalene had the faith to go check on Jesus on Easter Morning and was the first to behold the risen Christ. Once the disciples and followers beheld Jesus multiple times, they received the Spirit and the rest is history.

        • JohnAZ March 30, 2024 at 9:43 pm #

Also agree with what Jarek discovered, the real Weenies that conspired to do Jesus in were the Jewish leadership, which were religious leaders. Jesus was a revolutionary in their eyes, a blasphemer. They could not accept that He was way above them on the celestial scale. How come He could do all those miracles and they couldn’t?

The Mob that yelled Crucify Him? A bunch of yahoos drummed up by the High Priests, a 33AD version of the BLM. I wonder how many of them got paid to show up at Pilate’s Tribunal?

A good question. Why would a crowd of Joe Average Jews go nuts trying to get the Romans to crucify one of their own? Jerusalem had plenty of other ethnicities present.

I have wondered what I would have thought myself, back then.

The didn’t believe Jesus was the Messiah because he was just some guy from the neighborhood.

If someone I had known or known of started telling me God was is father I know what I would think now.

You put yourself “in the shoes of”, a nice job.
In Nazareth, they almost stoned Him when He declared Himself the Messiah in the synagogue.

I agree with you, what if some guy declared himself to be the Second Coming or the Anti-Christ today, the MSM would have a field day and they would be in an asylum.

However, if some guy started healing cancer, insanity and raising people from the dead and telling folks to obey the government and be satisfied with your lot in life and never want to be the “Boss”, he would definitely be noticed.

Jesus was a non-violent revolutionary, preaching that social change comes from within, person by person. That same message works today. The way to stop the crooks in DC is to one by one convince the population of their evil and change people’s minds.

MLK and Ghandi used the philosophy wisely.

One thing though, things today, over population and resource shortfalls are going to brew the “End of Times” scenario, which may just be in process. Think about all the national leaders around the world, trying to convince all of us that they are the saviors of humanity. Is it possible that the Anti-Christ is going to develop from this group of power folks? Would they refuse total power over the world as Jesus did during His temptations?

            Guess.

          • Beryl of Oyl March 31, 2024 at 12:39 pm #

John, your mention of the saviors of humanity all over the world reminded me of something.

A BBC reporter condescendingly told the President of Guyana that he would be causing over two billion tons of carbon emissions if he extracted the 150 billion dollars of oil and gas off his country’s shore.

The president wasn’t having any of it.

            Hilarity ensued.

Radar at X has the clip.

I like when these people and their minions get called out to their faces.

Everyday Christianity includes practices that directly contradict the instructions of the Christ.

I grew up a spiritual child in a secular home, so came to the Bible late in life. I have read the standard King James New Testament several times. I also have an Orthodox teaching version of the King James (which tries, & fails, to explain away the contradictions. As if the Christ was an incompetent speaker who needs interpretation, not of metaphor, but very specific, clear statements! I’ve also read a new English version (for its large print) & a version called “The Passion” which includes some Hebrew & Aramaic translations & explanations of differing translations, but also some odd interpretations.

I am now reading a translation direct from Aramaic of the Assyrian Eastern Christian Church. Their Bible was painstakingly & rigorously copied & proofread from the original Aramaic without any intermediate translations. It is arguably the oldest, most correct version we have.

Published in 1933, the author grew up in an isolated community that still spoke Aramaic & lived close to the original culture of the Christ’s time. So Aramaic is his first language & he fully understands the idiom of his native language & culture. Hid advanced education was in the west, so his English very good too.

He appears to have based his work on the King James version, & makes corrections from there, from including missing passages to correcting mistaken translations.

Is hell eternal? Or is it a mistranslation of the word aeon (an age) by Jerome en route from Aramaic to Greek to Latin?

Would a loving Father condemn any of his children for eternity? Good human fathers wouldn’t. Is God less than they?

What was stored in the World Trade Center vaults? Here’s one. The worlds most valuable coin the 1933 St. Gaudens $20 Double Eagle.
TOwnership of the coin was the center of a decades long dispute between its putative owner and the US. Treasury. Resolution by a NY Federal Judge.

Shortley before the destruction of the World Trade Center the 1933 Double Eagle was moved to Ft. Knox. The government agreed to split the proceeds of a sale between the ‘Owner’ and the Treasury. The coin was returned to NY city and sold After 911.

    1. Who wanted the coin moved from New York at the World Trade Center to Kentucky and Why?
    2. What other objects or things were stored in the World Trades Center?

Buddha? I didn’t know you were a Universalist. It’s a good thing. Christianity has a very poorly developed doctrine of Providence or the idea that God takes cares of the Universe and most of all, the people within it. Traditional Christianity would condemn the vast majority of people to hell since most throughout history didn’t hear the Gospel and even now, don’t grow up with it.

Thus He sent many Prophets and Revelations, and thus there are many “spiritual universes” in this world. But speaking of our universe: He came before as suffering servant. But He will return as a Conquering King. No Mr Nice Guy this time but Kalki, the last avatar riding on a white horse.

I watched a movie last night about a biblical scholar of the 1890s who was in a debate with a colleague about teaching morality to people, mostly kids, without Jesus’ teachings as the base for the morality is acceptable dogma.

Gavin Mccloud was the colleague. He sent the scholar through time to the year 2000 through a machine his father created. The movie was about how the United States of 2000 was the result of what he wrote, morality without Jesus as the source. The problem was/is everyone can create their own morality as they see fit. He stood humbly corrected. It was a good example of what has happened to this country.

    Religious symbols banned from eggs.

Future scholars, probably Chinese: The use of religious symbolism was banned at celebrations of Trans Visibility Day, formerly known as Easter. Easter was a pagan celebration which worshiped rabbits. The new religion of Trans-formation used eggs to symbolize new life and began to suppress the earlier religion of Rabbit worship. But one person wearing a rabbit costume was allowed, seemingly to guide the high Priest/President through the ceremony.

Jarek: Indeed, my yellow brother of the future, indeed. Biden should always have the rabbit with him. It should become a tradition for future presidents as well. Perhaps some of the bodyguards could wear rabbit costumes, with their guns holstered outside their costumes.

What Putin should have said – something like what the new Pharaoh said, he who “knew not Joseph”.

    Exodus:

8Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph. 9And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we: 10Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land. 11Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses. 12But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel. 13And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour: 14And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.

Jarek: Harsh? Yes. But remember, the previous Pharaoh was a traitor who had put the Jews above his own people. Who is the greater man the traitor or this new patriotic Pharaoh?

From another pov: There is no evidence of any of this. The Pyramids were largely built by the volunteer labor of devout Egyptians.

No evidence of a vast migrations across the Sinai either. Who knows? But the words they put in the mouth of this Pharaoh remain the Truth. A nation by definition is one people with one culture. What the fuck is wrong with Putin?

This Easter, Gaza’s Christian community is on the brink of extinction

    newarab.com/opinion/easter-gazas-christian-community-faces-extinction

Israel’s war threatens the world’s oldest Christian community. But Western powers who pay lip service to religious minorities are silent, writes Khalil Sayegh.

For the first time in its history, Gaza’s Christian community is under threat of extinction.

Gaza is home to one of the oldest Christian communities in the world, dating back to the first century, and the third oldest church in the world. Despite constant threats to survival, the community has persisted for two millennia.

But now, extinction may be unavoidable this time due to Israel’s indiscriminate war and imposed famine, which has killed more than 32,000 Palestinians in Gaza. There are only about 800 Christians left in Gaza.

The Western world, which often champions the rights of the religious minorities in the region, is eerily silent.

The oldest Christian community in the world is in Syria. They still speak the Aramaic language in Maaloula, the language that Christ spoke.

The US backed Islamic terrorists to attack the community, killing many and forcing others to flee.

There was no worldwide condemnation of this, no UN resolutions, no purple-haired people throwing blood, no airman burning himself alive outside the White House.

You are not allowed to speak of US atrocities, whether the victims are Christian, or not.

I think only Richard Black, state senator from Virginia, spoke out, of all US politicians.

Would you be happier if the Headline was:

Israel’s Arab community is on the brink. Or Israel’s Jewish community is on the brink?

Gaza allowed the missiles, the tunnels, the attack sites under Mosques and hospitals, that has allowed the ongoing harrassment of parts of Israel by Hamas. If Israel pushed Hamas into control of Gaza when it was set up, that was a yuge mistake, which in their eyes is being remedied now. Whatever happens to Gaza down the road, Hamas will have no part of it.

Yes, it’s Eastertime again, but there is still no God. Various and conflicting versions of God and religion have been the cause of too much of the world’s misery.

So, God’s son was crucified and died on the cross to redeem us sinners, the thorn crowned, bloody, nailed up Jesus becoming one of the most sadistically cruel and perversely enduring symbols of any religion. He then rises from the dead to give us the world we have today! Isn’t that wonderful? What a bizarre, sick fantasy!

And the religious hustlers are out looking for prey. Have you seen the ads? One of them goes like this:

    WHEN YOU DIE

ARE YOU GOING TO HEAVEN OR NOT?

    YOU CAN KNOW FOR SURE

    HEAVEN or NOT. net

But all is not lost. It is a wonderfully spiritual time of new life and new beginnings. You can lose the God, and still keep the spiritual. Spirituality is the key, yes, I dare say it, to salvation.

      TS

Recommend the movie “Time Changer” on Prime.

It points out very well what has happened to us as a country.

Spiritually IS God, He is the spirituality part of all of us, the counterbalance to the evil that resides in us. God is a Father to all of us, providing a model for all of us.

Jesus is His messenger to us, our example in the flesh. Think another thought about Holy Week, it is God’s way of showing us that death is not the end for each of us, that there is an eternal plan for each of us when we believe in Him. Jesus, as God’s messenger, brought four people back from death, but He was an outlet for God as God, the Father, brought Him back to life after the crucifixion.

Your disdain for the ads is understandable, I have seen them and despise the commercialization, just like Christmas and Easter. Christianity and its spiritual base is not for sale. AND Christian belief is between each individual and God, not through some intermediary. Martin Luther rebelled against the RCC and its medieval commercialization of Jesus’ message. There is always hope.

      “Time Changers”, worth your while.

Seven juveniles shot near Indianapolis mall, 12-17 y/o. Additional shootings earlier in the week. White or black?

Here’s some Sean ‘diddy’ Combs stuff, 1999 party time:

‘In December 1999, Combs, Lopez, his bodyguard Anthony “Wolf” Jones and the 21-year-old rapper Jamal “Shyne” Barrow, a Combs protege, were involved in a disagreement at Club New York in Manhattan that ended with gunfire and left three people injured.

Combs, Lopez and Jones left the club and led police on a chase through New York City that ended with police finding a stolen gun inside the car.

Natania Reuben, one of the three people shot during the altercation, maintains Combs was the one who shot her that night, and has renewed her accusation in recent days.

Combs and Lopez were arrested, detained and initially charged for their involvement in the shooting but the charges were quickly dropped against Lopez.

Combs, Jones and Barrow faced charges related to gun possession, and prosecutors alleged Combs and Jones attempted to bribe the driver of the car that left the nightclub to tell police the gun was his in exchange for $50,000.

After a weeks-long trial Combs and Jones were acquitted but a New York jury found Barrow guilty of five charges including criminal possession of a weapon, first-degree assault and reckless endangerment, though Barrow was acquitted of attempted murder.

Barrow was sentenced and served nearly nine years for his charges, though no one was ever charged and found guilty for the shooting itself.

Reuben was interviewed on NewsNation earlier this week and said she was willing to have a doctor remove part of the bullet still in her face from the shooting if needed to reopen the case against Combs. “Who better to tell you what happened than the person who got shot smack dab in between my eyes?” Reuben said during the interview.

Last month, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones Jr. filed a civil lawsuit against Combs and actor Cuba Gooding Jr. for sexual assault and harassment. In the lawsuit, Jones claimed Combs had “displayed his guns and bragged about getting away with shooting people,” according to USA Today.

Jones alleged in the lawsuit that Combs “shared that he was responsible for the shooting in the nightclub in New York City with rapper Shyne.” Jones also alleged Lopez “carried the firearm into the club for him and passed him the gun after he got into an altercation with another individual.” When the lawsuit was initially filed in February, Comb’s attorney, Shawn Holley, released a statement calling Jones a “liar” who filed “a $30 million lawsuit shamelessly looking for an undeserved payday,” according to the New York Times.

While the trial against Combs and Shyne was underway, Shyne released his self-titled debut album, and it peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200. While he was in prison, in 2004, he released a second album, “Godfather Buried Alive,” that reached No. 3. After his release from prison in 2009, Shyne was deported to Belize, his home country, where his dad, Dean Barrow, was prime minister. Shyne followed his father into politics, and in 2020, was elected to Belize’s House of Representatives.’

Blacks, whether in sports, music, or politics are largely responsible for the current state of our culture’s contamination. Toxic blacks are everywhere with their prison and gun culture pollution. Homicidal idols, Snoop Dog icons. Not to mention Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Fani Willis and the entire Obama soft on crime clan.

Derek Chauvin gets stabbed in prison. How long before George Floyd would have killed somebody? Keith Ellison, the black Minnesota AG, says Chauvin should be able to live out his term. How gracious, how kind of him.

    • JohnAZ March 31, 2024 at 10:02 pm #

      An analogy?

Blacks are like a piece of undigestible gristle in AmeriCa’s stomach, unable and unwilling to be assimilated into the country. They are 16% of this country and should be 16% of its concern, Not the control that they want.

The defeat of Biden’s Mob is crucial this fall, regardless of who succeeds in doing it. The Blacks will go back to trying to achieve on their own like the rest of us, succeeding and crediting the goodness of the country that has provided the opportunity to them, instead of burning its symbol.

Most of those rappers are gay or bisexual. Fluff Daddy, StulPac, EazyE, etc. are all gay. I recall hearing all that bullshit, in the early 90’s, when the masters of the universe decided that white people would be genocided, and thinking “wow, this is a bunch of faggots.” Turns out, I was correct. “Rough and tough” niggerdom is just a bunch of fags. Tie your bandana backwards against your forehead? Fag.
