Also note the Barrett and Roberts are Catholics -- and not very good ones, in my opinion.)
One of Trump's financial advisors allegedly stated that, if his rejiggering of the global economy doesn't work, America is done. Not just his presidency, or his party. The country. We're hopelessly in debt, with far less manufacturing capacity than we used to have. Half or more of the population is fucking insane, and convinced of their own righteousness. The rest of us aren't sure what the hell to believe, except that we seem to be under some kind of mass confusion, perhaps akin to the kind of divine confusion visited upon humanity after the Tower of Babel, and forecast to occur at the rise of the Antichrist.
I think Trump may partially succeed, enough so that we'll believe we can do anything, both good and evil, and our wealth will be greater than ever before we're destroyed. if Rev. 17 and 18 are accurate. We're no longer interested in cleaning up our hearts and minds and turning to God before we're destroyed.
