You called it vigilantism. I disagreed with you, and imagined how a better person - someone with an unimpeachable sense of justice - might deal with the same situation.
The original post was not about homeowners defending their property. Like I said even a jalapeño knows it can defend itself. The original comment was about vigilantism.
