Plus--I'm back to Hunter Biden's pardon here--the 'precedents' for such a pardon covering a carte blanche decade are non-existent. Someone mentioned the pardon for confederates at the end of the Civil War, but in my opinion, that is entirely different. We are coming to the point where pardons need to be checked, constitutionally challenged and (unfortunately?) defined by the SC.
