Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 11 prohibits attorneys from engaging in certain unethical conduct in Federal courts. Attorneys must not present legal filings “for improper purpose[s],” including “to harass, cause unnecessary delay, or needlessly increase the cost of litigation.” FRCP 11(b)(1). Attorneys must ensure that legal arguments are “warranted by existing law or by a nonfrivolous argument for extending, modifying, or reversing existing law or for establishing new law.”
Schumer even looked like the devil on that appearance on PBS.
The Democrats have drawn a line in the sand, one that is perverting the course of Justice, and they will not go down until they are forced down, kicking and screaming.
I don’t believe in “breaking the law to save the law”- that’s a devil’s bargain.
And the Supreme Court, if it had a righteous and moral Chief Justice who believed in upholding the Constitution could shut these games down in a heartbeat.
We shall see.
The alternatives are all really, really bad for this country.
