No, not repulsive. Most all soldiers, of any country, throughout human history.
Much of our defense expenditures are for OFFENSE!! That's what's repulsive. Like, we are always looking for trouble so we can Boltonize our military and go-get-em, those bad guys who won't conform to our business demands.
