That is a great quote from the Amish. I obviously use a computer too. Longstanding for my line of work. Land-line and everything grounded. It's been wonderful for obtaining useful information. I avoid AI, though, because of the enormous energy use involved, and I've been dissatisfied with the results recently.

If RFK Jr. gets confirmed, and even if he doesn't, he has successfully sued the FCC and has represented electrosensitive people against telecoms, so there is more hope now, as part of MAHA, of getting that recognized as a disability in a meaningful way, opening the door for non-digital opt-outs of all kinds.

Keeping that way of life viable will smooth the transition to a much less energy-intensive future, I believe.

"Land-line and everything grounded."

Although I haven't confirmed this, I strongly suspect that the signal from land-lines might go wireless at some point.

However, mind you, I agree wholeheartedly with the spirit of your comments!
