Trump has a big problem--the mainstream media.

The MSM covered for the Biden Administration. They withheld news about Biden's mental state, about the pork barrel projects in "Rebuild America", about the toxic mRNA injections. THAT is how they molded public opinion.

With Trump, they will now do their job. They will report the bad news, every stupid statement, almost every conflict of interest (except Israel, of course).

I would not be surprised if the MSM decides to report on how the government lies to us about inflation--3%, 2%, later 7%--my foot. This is as bad as the late 1970s--then the government figures were closer to reality--7%, 10%, 12%, 20%.

And, as things go from bad to worse, Trump's popularity will drop.

Trump ("I didn't start any wars", remember?) is not fixing our country by sending more forces to the Middle East; by bombing the Houthis; by continuing, in practice, to send military aid to Ukraine, even as the Trump Administration finally decides to talk to Russia--but not lift any sanctions on Russia, or returning stolen Russian financial assets.

It's looking to me like Trump got played by the Neocons with the tariffs too. I expect we may have shortages of some goods by June. Better get those car tires and brakes done now, while you can, and stock up on goods you use or will use that come from China now, while you can.

And if, as I think is going to happen, the US/Israel attack Iran, well, while the Iranians and many other people will suffer greatly as far as death and destruction, in the end the US will be defeated (in Vietnam, 60k Americans died. While the US war caused around 1.5 million Vietnamese deaths, about 4-5% of the population, in the end, no matter that the US won all the battles, the US left, defeated).

For Americans, like most CFNers, even worse than the US military defeat though, will be the global depression the war will cause, due to the disruption/destruction of oil supplies, which will be devastating to the US and China alike. But we Americans, with our higher standard of living, and more fragile society (progress is accompanied by fragility), will be economically devastated. Likely leading to civil strife, martial law, perhaps civil war.

Prayer is good and advisable. Pray the US does not attack Iran, among other things.
