Asking folks to provide evidence for their claims is not disrespectful.

I am not angry, or being hateful

All I am doing is asking for evidence.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Perhaps you can help me, Ruth?

Maybe you can prove to us that "God" ever said anything?

Or show us how "God" healed the land. What that even means?

An intelligent, well-balanced person like you should be able to do this.

Otherwise, all you are doing is showing you are willing to swallow any old codswallop.

"Got a link to that? LOL"

"Betcha can't"

"Too busy I suppose"

"Yeah, makes sense"

Totally respectful.

All religion is bullshit.

There have been some 3,000+ Gods.

You Ruth do not believe in 2,999+ of them.

You too my dear are an atheist wrt to all other Gods except Yahweh.

I just go one further.

Thin skinned much my dear?

"You're not allowed to judge but I am" - every religious person ever.

But you chose to attack, not them. They simply stated a belief and, unprovoked you went on a tirade you probably copy and paste a hundred times a day. You're pitiful.

He's a troll. Gets his jollies off of mocking people's beliefs.

At least he hasn't threatened to send his over-achieving daughters to beat you up yet.

haha yeah I figured so. Bullies always pull the same tactic. As soon as you corner them they try to claim they are just doing what you are doing even though they always start the trouble. Same tired old leftist tactics. Of all the windmills in the world to joust against, the belief of people who are the most peaceful and forgiving is so misplaced it smacks of mental illness. And I already know what the response to this will be so it's my last comment. I dare say this is the kind of person who wouldn't dare say these things to another man's face.

You called it, Ruth Gordon. He's so predictable.

Good job Ruth.

Attacking my character, but failing to address the subject of my comment.

A typical tired old religious nut job tactic.

You know my points are the truth and you have no counter arguments. The truth hurts you.

Thats why you deflect with all your kindergarten phycology trying to make out that I am the problem.

There truly is no hate quite like Christians Love! Religious folk prove every day that arrogance and ignorance go hand in hand.

"Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence."

No. Actually, "extraordinary" claims must clear the same evidentiary hurdles as "ordinary" claims. No more, no less. Can it be proven? Yes or no?

("Oh no Honey, this is Small Claims Court. You hafta take that on up ta Extraordinary Claims Court. Down da hall 'n' upstairs.")

Just because Carl Sagan said it doesn't make it right. Nor does quoting smart people make the quoter look smart (except maybe to the quoter).
