I'll spend most of my time reading, my rifle propped up against the parapet. From up there, the whole city will be filled with similar towers, one for every street (at first). We'll have fun talking to each other when not shooting people who try to jump the gate.
Later, City Lords will consolidate whole regions and you won't have to pay more than once since each Lord owns that whole part of the city. Hopefully by that point, I'll be higher up the chain of command and won't lose my job.
