Few can kick ass regarding vaccines and health like RFK, Jr. He dominates in that arena, and that is good for him and for America.

However, at all times, we need to remember his complexity. He has a VERY dark side, as dark as his mind and ideals are bright.

Just as the Special Olympics was founded by his aunt Eunice Shriver out of recognition of the problems of an intellectually disabled family member (her sister Rosemary), I believe RFK Jr.'s passionate concern with vaccine safety likely rose from severe allergies several of his younger children have experienced - allergies now widespread but rarely seen until recent years. He even alluded to this in the recent hearings.

He certainly had a dark side in his youth. It's well documented in a fascinating book, "The Kennedys: An American Drama" by Peter Collier and David Horowitz which explains a great deal about this man. However, that was years ago and people grow, suffer, and sometimes mellow. As long as he remains laser-focused on the goal of making America healthy again, we can rejoice in that and worry about his less-appealing beliefs separately and/or later.

What dark side ? I am a believer in the "let he who is without sin" principle, but you seem to be implying more than that.

Say more about the Dark Side, please. A good deal is public, and acknowledged, so if there is something others ought to know about, please provide it.
