The Dems have a program to scrub the backgrounds of prospective candidates and place them into Republican primaries. I witnessed this first-hand with my congress critter Kiley who seemed like a solid conservative before getting elected and now is obviously a Democrat. This has been going on for decades. So before throwing "Republicans" out with the bath water, just remember a lot of them are actually Dems. What needs to happen is a much better vetting process so we can spot these infiltrators and flush them down the toilet during the primary process. With Ronna McDaniel out of the picture, this will start to tighten up but will take some time.

No, Scott, what needs to happen is we need to get rid of political parties altogether and observe the council of one gorgeous George Washington, who, in his farewell address, admonished future generations to stay the hell away from partisan politics. I despise political parties. Political parties create tribalisms and put the party first over everything else. The result? Just look around. We have become so polarized that very little to truly benefit the Country actually ever gets done. I will always hate and eschew political parties. The Republicans have had their chances and they pissed those chance away in favor of more spending, more debt and more wars.

There would be no RINOs if there were no Republicans. Just saying.

IMHO, the Bushes were Deep Staters. They did not swing the political pendulum back to the Right when in office. Bush 1 despised Reagan, I believe he coined voodoo economics for Reagan’s programs. He also kowtowed to the Dems after promising “No new taxes”. “W” was a total disaster who wanted war and an open border then. We have had a Deep State government since 1988.
