Buckle up, the next month will be newsworthy. What other joy will FJB provide for America on the way out to pasture? Pardons? Grift? Pandemic 2? WWIII?

The media is painting today as a somber anniversary. Yet the patriots rotting in DC gulag forgotten by both parties are hopefully going to be free soon.

Sorry to bring this lengthy screed forward from last week, but it fleshes out what these guys are about:

Agreed, it was simply a show trial, gross abuse of due process, and a shot across the bow for anyone else contemplating acting up. I've followed the Proud Boys since their early days in Portland, OR.

There was a group called Patriot Prayer, that used to publicly and peaceably assemble - as is their constitutional right - and hold prayer vigils for certain people or causes.

Invariably, they would be violently set upon by Antifa thugs, preying upon the weak and defenseless, as all cowards do. That is until the Proud Boys started showing up to protect them, because Portland PD was ordered to "stand down", by their Marxist Mayor.

Thus began, the animosity between the two. The Proud Boys were simply bouncers for free speech, and they kicked ass. Every. Single. Time. Check out some old videos - there are plenty of the street skirmishes in Portland.

In one, Ethan Nordean threw about four one-punch knockouts in a 3-minute span. He's a BAMF - a flat-out brawler and he doesn't play. Not for a second.

In the chaotic time after the night of the 2020 election, when it was obvious the election was being stolen, Trump implored people to go to their State Capitols and push back. I dropped everything, and much to my wife's dismay, drove straight to the Florida Capitol in Tallahassee - a 3-hour drive.

You had people - patriots, every age, race, color and creed, exercising their constitutional right to peaceably assemble and seek a redress of grievances, many holding signs saying, "Stop the Steal".

Antifa/BLM were there but so were the local chapter of the Proud Boys. Here's what I saw - not what I heard or read, but what I saw: The Trump supporters held the Capitol. Across a 4-lane street Antifa/BLM was assembled. Many of the Trump supporters, unfamiliar with the area, had parked beyond and behind Antifa "lines".

As an older couple - maybe in their late 80's - was attempting to cross the street, they were escorted across the street, one Proud Boy on each side - an almost solemn march, as a father gives away his daughter - as Antifa closed in, spitting on them, one of the Proud Boys knocked him the fuck out, and the crowd parted. The couple was safely escorted to their car.

Next up was what appeared to be a single Hispanic mother with two little children in tow, holding a "Latinos for Trump" sign. Another supporter courageous enough to do the right thing and show up. Same thing, they escorted her and her children through the Antifa cowards - with a much wider berth this time as they parted.

So it went, late into the night until everyone was escorted to safety. So, there were the "violent, terrorist, white supremacists". It was a beautiful thing to behold, glad I went. I still get chills thinking about watching them.

I have family from the Left Coast - who suffer from Liberal mental illness, and trash talk the Proud Boys. Them and anyone else who has anything to say about them, I tell them to STFU, they don't know what they are talking about. Typical for liberal Marxists - talk without thinking, because they can't think for themselves.

Whew, sorry folks. Jim, thanks for the outlet, you are invaluable, my friend. Happy New Year to everyone at CFN!

Thank you, Rosalind. Obviously, there are many more, these seem to represent the depth (and egregious length) of the travesty. Think about those terms. For what? They are political prisoners. I've said before, if DJT does not pardon them and commute their sentences, in very short order - I'm off the Trump Train.

The millions of Indians he intends to bring in hasn't gotten you off the train? If not, why not? John explained his position to me yesterday: It hasn't happened yet so I'm making a mountain out of a molehill. Down with all prediction! Farther right, JAZ, just to the right of Genghis Khan.

Genghis was worshiped as a god by his followers, and by extension, his family as well. So that is an extreme form of monarchy. I imagine old Jer was thinking along the lines of no government at all, the silly fuck. I admit it sounds good, but it is inexact. Many people "to the right of Genghis Khan" view things quite differently than the Ayn Rand cult.

Hundreds in prison. Don't/can't know all their ages. The numbers I listed are sentences. And we have (had) violent, drug-crazed, 47-time felons on the subways threatening innocent passengers, until a brave US veteran puts a stop to it. Then, he's the criminal - only in a Clusterfucked Nation.

Expand full comment

Frankly, I thought you were 100% correct. Criminals have more rights than innocents in many, many cities in America. And if you hurt or kill one in self defense the system will destroy you both financially and in reputation. YouтАЩll be forever hated by some for the rest of your broke, miserable life. ThatтАЩs exactly why maybe one in a thousand will stick their neck out for a stranger. If you donтАЩt like it? Then face facts and speak out. But donтАЩt pretend someone pointing this out is being negative. The finger pointer is the actual negative one who perpetuates this corrosion by not speaking out about it and gets sarcastic at those who do. Because, it might make them pull their head out of their ass and they donтАЩt want to.

Hey, I appreciated all your in-depth knowledge on Lynyrd Skynyrd - always interested in the stuff I don't know. Native Floridian grew up on Southern Rock, during their time - always loved them. Still do.

Live in STA now and have two close college buddies from UF, who grew up in Jax, and crossed paths with the band in the early days. Artimus Pyle lived a few blocks away for many years - his daughter "Pepper" Pyle still lives here. She's aptly named, wild as can be, in a good way.

At college in Gainesville, '80-'84, every October 20th, we'd make the pilgrimage over to Evergreen Cemetary over in Jax, where Ronnie, Steve & Cassie Gaines were buried - always many hundreds of people were there, so they were moved eventually.

About 15 years ago, one of my sons was invited to a 6-year-old birthday party for a little Van Zant girl classmate. I took him to the party and asked the grandmother if they were related.

She said sure, pulled out her phone and started swiping through pictures. Here's Ronnie, when...here's Donnie, when...here's Johnny, when...here's all the boys (casual family get together jam session with assorted other band members) playing together...here's all their guitars. It was a trip.

It is burned in my mind, how the governor and mayor of Portland did not represent the police during the civil unrest, and when the Proud Boys came to town, the news couldn't bring itself to present an objective assessment.

I have in mind that Andy Ngo was nearly beaten to death, and MSM treated him similarly. Trump had it right: Fake news.

Here again, why do I not hear any condemnation from family and friends?

Ian - the Marxist Portland Mayor told the Police to "stand down". Many fail to realize that City Police Chiefs and entire Police Departments serve at the whim of Mayors, City Commissions and City Councils. They do as they're told, as their bosses tell them. They are not independent.

Sheriffs? Different story, elected to office, answer to no one and are the highest constitutional officers in their respective counties. Have jurisdiction over the Feds.

A few years back, our local Sheriff, talking about Feds coming into our county to enforce some federal gun control law, advised them that he would not enforce that law, and if they came to our county, they'd be spending the night in "his" jail. How I love him.

Word to the wise - your local Sheriff is the most important LEO and elected official in your county - if no others, make sure you vote that one right.

Would MSM be able to shield their deaf, dumb, and blind flock, that voted for Biden/Harris, from the truth?

Has "Joe Biden" issued a bravery medal to the agent who missed their target in Butler? Why isn't their an update on that incident?

What did Trump say to Nancy in private to drive her insane and cause her to pop her lid? What has Trump said to Joe Biden in private, to justify his actions toward Trump?
