“War is a loser for the US”

War by military means is obsolete as Ukraine and Gaza is showing. It has been that way since Viet Nam.

Rockets, guns, planes, tanks are all being compromised by remote war, drones especially.

The PTB in the world hate it. They can no longer dictate policy to the under developed. They cannot even fight amongst themselves. Oh my, what to do?

Trade is the “war” of the future. Economic strength will be the measure of power. The MIC is going to evolve into a high tech posture as the world divides into three power groups.

John, would there be a need for the MIC if everyone had their own personal nuclear arsenal?

Just consider the annual savings.

This is along the lines of that which Ritter discusses. Ritter is talking Trump's book. Has he established a direct communications channel to DJT?

Back up a moment. Why war? Why do countries or even tribes legalize murder with each other? When the American Indians inhabited the North American continent, long before Columbus discovered them, they went to war continuously. The history of the Hebrew people is continuous warfare. American history is replete with war, every twenty years, every generation.

Why? Why do people WANT to kill each other? IMHO, it is inherent to the species. Look at what is going on now. The Left sits back telling us how they are for the Little Guy, to be benevolent to the masses, looking out for Joe Average. Ha! They are bloodthirsty asshats like everyone else. Look at the violence of boxing, of football where we live, in our own minds, the violence in our hearts.

Folks, how many presidents have made the elimination of war as a major point of his legacy? One!

You mention MAD as a way to eliminate war. War will not be eliminated until it is removed from the hearts and minds of the human race. Just the fact that our study of history is based on the exploits and victories of wars shows where our hearts are today.

And hypocritical Leftists are NOT the answer. Again, they are part of the problem, not the solution.

One more, somehow a people must be able to control the evil of their government. Under test right now is if the people of the USA have enough gusto to control the Deep State and that the balance of power of the Constitution will continue to work under onslaught from the Deep State.

Dalio shares a lot of what I consider logical information about war and the cycle of an empire.

Chapter 1: The Big Cycles in a Tiny Nutshell - Ray Dalio

"I saw how, over time, this dynamic leads to a very small percent- age of the population gaining and controlling exceptionally large percentages of the total wealth and power, then becoming overextended, and then encountering bad times, which hurt those least wealthy and least powerful the hardest, which then leads to conflicts that produce revolutions and/or civil wars. When these conflicts are over, a new world order is created, and the cycle begins again."

That is the Fourth Turning thesis. It does not explain why the answer to unresolved differences between families, clans, tribes or nations seems to inevitable legal murder. Is it something, the violence, in man’s psyche, unavoidable. Again, the biggest joke is that the Left has a monopoly on empathy, their emotional bent leads to increased violence.
