To imprison them makes them wards of the taxpayers. I have done nothing to be charged taxes for the sustenance of these evildoers. Nothing. Prison punishes those who must pay to maintain the prisons. Take everything from them, push them out on the streets and let them figure it out like the rest of us have to.
I'm against imprisonment because it punishes the taxpayers. If imprisonment is a penalty then they need to bring back the chain gangs and make these people pave roads, dig ditches, break rocks, sort garbage and other such tasks that are unpleasant but need to be done. Prisons punish innocent people by taking their money to support and sustain those who do not deserve to be supported or sustained.
I also support hangings for those who have committed treason.
I do think though that taking all of their money, their wealth, their possessions and making them live on the streets would be a satisfying punishment.
Poor and imprisoned.
How about "poor and homeless."

They are already wards of the taxpayers, homeless and immigrants. Thanks Gavin and Joe.
They still have freedom when homeless. Imprisoned after all assets seized. Or just hang them.

In one of the Carolinas, a man is going to be executed by firing squad.
Utah still has the firing squad. It was used to do the long awaited execution of Ronnie Lee Gardner. Of his choosing.
I think some states allow it at the discretion of the perp.
