Ian, Trump’s greatest enemy, the same one as the 1st administration, is the Deep State RINOs. Everyone seems to think that now that Trump is the president, everything will start tearing down the Deep State. As evidenced by the election of Thune, the Deep State Senate RINOs are still the majority and I will bet that they are laying in wait to destroy Trump and his team and keep him from decreasing the Deep State. Their goal is to preserve the Deep State and to them Trump is the primary enemy. BTW, Scott got a paltry 14 votes on the first ballot and was eliminated. That means 53 - 14 = 39 Senators voted for a RINO. Not a good sign. Notice as above, the press covered Bush II for the first time in years. Folks, it ain’t over yet.
For poly watchers, keep an eye on what the RINO contingents of the House and Senate try to do to the Musk/Ramaswamy combo.
They had 4 years to make a first good impression and impose their agenda, and they blew-it.
My assessment is that they are a bunch of incompetent nincompoops, and at this point, I suspect that with the support of the majority of the population, Trump has the wherewithal to crush them.
