I know people in FLA with Teslas who are worried they will explode from salt water flooding and have them parked away from the house/garage... crazy hun? Storm coming in, and they leave the cars out.. because they might burn down the house lol!

No EV is a great thing in their mind.. even when doesn't work in SnoPocalypses, or in icy weather or .. yeah with salt water and air exposure! EV a giant gaint con. Where does the electric to charge car come from? Coal, oil and gas, generated, ROFL. But but its energy green and friendly they protest, it doesn't pollute! Ha ha ha.. the absurdity these otherwise smart people twist their brains to pronounce. Why they have n brains a'tal!!
The absurdity of it all. Not to mention the net cost is far higher than Internal combustion. Same with wind turbines the cost can't even be amortized before they are junk. what about the billions allocated for charging stations? The grid can't begin to support large numbers of EVs. Now they have three charging stations or something like that? And as you say where the electricity comes from. And not just that, everything that goes into an EV has to be mined or extracted. What about the cost to bird life from the wind mills? What kind of consequences might that have? For me and of course I'm nobody the insanity of it all is mind boggling.
