The recent theory mentioned, the possible underpass shot, suggests that a smoky firecracker explosive was set off as a diversion on the grassy knoll. In this theory, the first shot through the windshield hits JFK in the throat. That author states that JFK's head was turned toward the left side of the underpass, and the second kill shot struck JFK's right temple, driving his head backward. The author also states there were no shots from the knoll, as these would endanger Jackie. In my mind, a shot from the storm sewer could also save Jackie, hit JFK in the right temple and thrust him backward. The book Mortal Error (possibly a CIA "limited hangout") posited a kill shot having the same trajectory as the possible sewer shot but on a downward angle was accidentally fired by a SS agent with an assault rifle as he was seated on the back seat of the Queen Mary follow-up car. Same angle: reverse direction.

My novel Saving JFK by W. Green relates the story of time travelers heading to Chicago to stop the assassination of JFK on Jackson Blvd (the "Elm Street") of that assassination scheme.

They succeed but fail in Dallas.

It is amazing this case remains unsolved, but this says something about the power of the Blob.
