It's true he didn't say "bleach" but he did muse on the possibility of 'injecting disinfectant". But the broader point is that this just shows what a fecking moron he is. This is press conference and he's having in public a discussion that is the sort of thing you ask or postulate in a committee setting. Birx couldn't stand up and say, publicly,"Sir, you're a fecking idiot." In a private setting she could have tried to communicate that to him, but he's a notorious non-listener anyway.
