JohnAZ, good man, race is everything. Everything. It is without hesitation the most important. My race is my religion.

Each face is a map of twenty thousand years of history, and more. The skin you wear reflects the climate that formed you eons ago.

Would you dishonor that grand record, a record that outlasts all others?

To say it is of no consequence is to dishonor not only your ancestors, but everyone's ancestors, and their gods. Alas, but I am going to miss blondes.

Euro mutt, here. Norwegian and German, mostly, and my grandparents gave my dad shit for not marrying a full-blooded Norwegian girl. Were they taking their ethnocentricity too far? Heck, my "purebred" dad had olive skin and people think my sister is Ojibwa. Where the heck did the dark skin come from? I have chestnut hair, pale skin and blue eyes. Most Norwegian-heritage "blondes" (I live in America's Norwegian Central) seem to have rat-colored hair, dishwater at best. There is something impermanent about blond hair . . . hormones quickly darken it. My blondness disappeared before kindergarten. Blondes ain't all that. Mourn the gingers.

So tell me me, Alzaebo, what is the dividing line between Black and White. White is not white, the crayon color was flesh. Is Vijay Singh Black? What are half breeds of all types? There are more of them in this country now than “purebreds”. Race is coming less and less important each generation.

Pretending there is no problem race is naive.

Remember when Indians were classified as Caucasian? The vilification of "whiteness" has rendered the concept of "Caucasoid" very friable.

Yeah, I laugh at our supposed “purebred” Whites on the blog. What happens when they find on DNA test that they have Black roots way back and maybe even Neanderthal? A question, if they take a DNA test and find out they have any Dark roots, does that lower their IQ?
