A much-appreciated note of optimism this Monday morning. Now, if we can just find a solution to the unlawful obstruction of executive prerogative by a subversive judiciary …..
These so-called "Judges" can make all of the rulings, proclamations, and edicts they desire. They have no enforcement capability so can be largely ignored, just as Jefferson suggested about a judiciary gone wild. Trump only plays along with it to rob the wokesters of fuel for the "tyrant" narrative.
Correct but......now will be the time that we can really learn who are the real RINOs left in Congress. The Dems are without any real power without help from the RINOs. Hopefully Trump has covered all of his bases and the ones with weak spines and the ones who really do not support Trump have been minimized. If the market weakens more significantly-----and I do not put it past the Marxists to try to make it weaken----the media will be crying a river and trying to make Americans panic.
Ron, I apologize for “jumpin’in here” but once I observed the enclosed image, my normally accurate mind flatlined:
And, so it looks as if the psychopathocracy needed to hire an elderly, obese, and angry rocker of yesteryear, for the gig; but, none was available, make that none had the capacity to actual standup by themselves, so forth-rated-dark Neil Young volunteered. Thankfully, David Crosby is no longer with us might he be forced to witness this atrocity to his namesake band.
The truth be told, my goal was simply to use psychopathocracy in a sentence…;)
The judges upholding the law?! Not everything trump does stands up to the law. You have probably never even read the constitution. Or you're too fucking thick to understand it
Checks are one thing; blocking legitimate executive orders because you're a rabid MAGA-hater who pretends to impartiality is obviously another. Activist judges represent a lobby, not the United States of America.
04/07/25: Gorgeous, beautiful thing to read on a Monday morning. A good reason for optimism: "CNBC host and market commentator Jim Cramer warned that America is in store for another 'Black Monday' market crash..." (NY Post 04/07/25). When I saw that, eminent rays of penetrating light, aurora borealises of hope flooded my home. The bastard hasn't gotten anything right since it occurred to him to short a stock back when he had hair on his head.
04/10/25 (Post note): Well, Black Monday never happened, did it? Love to see the look on that putz's face when the DJIA was +3000 on White Wednesday, April 8th.
I am enjoying much of what has been happening esp.after Biden became der leader I started moving my money out of the market very little left.I see as they say hedge with metals first morning I see were silver is positive on a down market...must see if it last the day,
We got out in May 2021. Yes, we lost out on the last couple of years of enormous gains, but interest rates were high enough to keep us okay. And sleeping well is important. I haven’t felt good about the market since we got out. I’m starting to feel better, all of a sudden and might move some money back in.
I have an IRA, and unfortunately didn’t adjust anything before “Liberation Day”, so I guess I’m in for the long haul.
My financial guy also recently advised me to start a Roth IRA, and I just sent him 2 checks last week, one for 2024 taxes and one for 2025. I’ll probably still deposit the 2024 check for tax purposes, but thinking I should wait a while for the 2025 one until the dust settles…
You can invest the money and choose a money market account to invest in. That way you’ve taken advantage of the tax benefits but your money is safe. You aren’t going to make much of a return, but for a temporary place to hold it, it works.
Just a thought for you. Roth IRAs are betting on higher tax rates in the future, IOW when you are forced to cash out after age 70, the taxation will be a higher %. Paying taxes now and none later would be a good thing. However, your need for cash now is probably more than when you retire, and if tax rates decline, you are losing out with a Roth. It all depends on your needs.
One of your best ever, JK!👍👍 This post perfectly encapsulates where we are as a country today. Think about the private equity industry, which specializes in buying companies, layering on cheap debt and pretending that this creates value while producing nothing - Fugazy indeed! While I’m a Boomer, I recognize that we must right the ship, lest the country be lost for future generations. We’ve already saddled them with debt beyond belief. Time to stop the money printing presses and get back to being a producer nation.
"My children are all actually doing very well, much better than I did at their age."
And what productive activity do your children do? What do they make or build? How do they improve our society? As a boomer I never had it easy.So what. I can't complain. I am a first generation American success. I put in 10 hours a day sweat and toil and went home, Worked the foundry's and mills as a yougin'. Late 60's-70's' That was when we had factories around here. $4-5 bucks an hour + piece work + overtime. Good money if you wanted the work.Hard and dirty. So what? Second and third shift. The iron stack ran 24/7. Casting iron pillow blocks/ hydraulic cylinders by the millions. We built the world. Try to get some 21st century soy boy to do that in 100 degree July heat. He'd rather code for a living.Maybe play video games, or watch a little porn. Soft men /pansies/ destroy the world and I see them everywhere. These C@@TS are in for a rude awaking
And if you want to really piss me off. Unload your grocery shopping cart and leave it in the middle of the parking lot when the corral is only 50 feet away. You lazy fat fuck.
I find that it's usually some young, physically un-impaired, usually female, lazy twit that does that. I've seen Boomers who could barely walk take their cart to the cart corral. And I remember my late mother--at 90-years-old, with arthritis, and slowly dying of terminal lung cancer, but still completely coherent and able to drive her car--refusing to park in a Handicapped parking space (even though she had a disabled placard that she jokingly called a "gimp sticker") because she said that somebody else might need that Handicapped parking space a lot more than she did. She was part of the Greatest Generation--you know, that generation that survived the Great Depression and World War II. Tough? You bet--not like today's young wusses.
I have three girls— a nurse, an event planner, and a small business owner. They all work hard—40-60 hours a week. They all make decent money. They’re in their 30’s. I made them get jobs at 16 so they could see how the world works. They’re saving for retirement already. Their biggest problems are infertility and the cost of housing. Technology makes their lives easier than my mid-life ever was. They’re good people. Only one out of the three gets what’s really going on in the world. Another wants to hear absolutely nothing about it and the other is just trying to get through life in these crazy times. At least they’re not crazy libs. I feel badly for them all. What a terrible time to be a human being on earth.
No one can take your own standing on matters away from you except yourself. The judgmental negativity of the poster to whom i posed the question is only harming himself by what you characterize as hostility provoked by fear and worry. Faith in action fostering hope is the antidote.
American young men have become girly-boys thanks to colleges, DEI, PC bullshit, Hollywood and young women ,who have been indoctrinated that they need NO ONE, and hardly a man. And are basically 2000 years from the women we knew growing up. Man up, America
Oldest is a pilot, FedEx international, second runs a ski area in Aspin Colorado, #3 graduated with an EE degree, has worked several companies, paid off two houses, works at a startup, something to do with factory maintenance automatic monitoring, I don't quite understand. Youngest graduated with a CS degree, runs a team for a major banking outfit, he recently was accepted at Georgia tech in the masters program. We raised them on an auto mechanics and steel sales salarys. I am very proud of all of them. Their mom deserves all the credit. If it was just me they would probably be all bums.
I'm also at the end of the Boomer age range. From my observation-- if you were born earlier, you had more opportunities. If you were born at the end of the cycle, your opportunities were much more limited, since the older Boomers had already taken up the jobs. Plus... they seemed to be reluctant to retire. Demographics.
I find it generally ironic when some individuals find it attractive to use collectivist ideology in criticizing any group based on non-fungible characteristics……not only does such behavior tend to be hypocritical but also it limits one’s enjoyment of what individuals can bring to bear……worth noting that “boomers” experienced events that are only historical events for younger people….JFK, Malcolm X, RFK, MLK……all dusty history that had real impacts on the lives of individuals living then…..it would probably have a much more positive effect if all individuals of all generations would unite to face off against the really evil actors in our country
Well, remember that the flower children of the 60s became the Me generation of the 70s. The Age of Aquarius was a joke. Boomers took the start up capital of the “greatest generation” and built it up. Then the government idiots decided that we needed to offshore manufacturing during the 90s and beyond. The economy switched to service and finance to generate “wealth”, that isn’t wealth. 2005, JHK wrote TLE, sending out danger messages about the emptiness of the Boomer fiasco. We are still discussing the fiasco today.
There is an interview with David Crosby, where he said that CSN got a little 'dark' after Young joined them, and it was like 2 different bands. It seems like even Crosby didn't really like Young very much.
Regardless of whether you like(d) their music or not - and I did like The Byrds about 50 years ago: It’s unfortunate but true, they were (have been) both very unpleasant people in general to be around for quite some time. Arrogant, rude, spiteful and mean to the regular person.
A cautionary example for us all: Older age tends to reveal a person’s underlying spirit, attitude and character. Also, mental illness increases with age. Pretty certain both those guys had (have) mental health issues at (near) the end.
However neither one is a sympathetic figure in my book. Young in particular has stayed on well past his prime.
Let's expand your comment regarding older age, spirit, attitude and character: it's not ALL Boomers who are out there waving Soros placards and destroying Teslas. It's only a certain segment of them. Not all.
Yes, the wolf we’ve chosen to feed all these years comes round full force to either bite your ass or lick your hand. Choose wisely before you’re trained.
His self-importance is annoying too. I still laugh out loud, every time I think about when Spotify was going to pick up Joe Rogan, offering him a $100 million contract.
Young threatened them by saying if they took on Rogan, he'd pull the licensing for all his music. I think it was about a 5-second decision by Spotify ownership, "Yeah, we'll take Rogan." What a dumbass.
Indeed this was a prime example of the market taking care of the issue……same for the other musicians that attempted to dictate to Spotify as to their business decisions…..
I never liked him or his music particularly since I had a friend who dated one of his exes he had a disabled kid w who he would not support. He's also Canadian not American.
Aw, I'm just pulling your winkie, Mike. Now one can never be too certain these days, but I'll bet my life that Miriamnae does not have a winkie, so I'm just joshing her.
I am a boomer and legal immigrant from Chile in 1964. Having left a country that voted for a communist in 1970, I was familiar with that evil. I first noticed radicalism in America at ages 13, 14 and 18 when teachers and a professor made fun of America and the students roared in laughter. By God’s grace, I avoided the odious life style of so many boomers.
They need to print money (and destroy these tattered and defaced bills). Janet Yellen signed plates for her Series 2021 for $1 and $5 bills. I have not come across a $10, $20, $50 or $100 that is Series 2021. I have been watching this since 2021. In those denominations, nothing newer than Steven's Series 2017.
And consistantly, pretty proportionately, I get Series 2009, 2013 and 2017 in $50s & $100s from the bank. When I hand over one of these bills to conduct a transaction in stores they either hold it up to the light to thoroughly inspect the bill or run it through a "zippy" machine to check its authenticy. I find this so strange as they don't seem "to give a rip" about what name is on the credit card I swipe through for their processing. Strange land.
With the caveat that I realize JHK understands this, I wanted to make the case that not all Boomers went along for the ride. Also, the Internet - while a double-edged sword - can take much of the credit for awakening most of us from the Deep State brainwashing machine as we now have access to a plethora of news/podcasts and there now exists the opportunity for an immediate outcry in opposition should someone attempt to set up a false narrative. - After all, those of us who have been here for six+ decades actually know first-hand things like how a normal sky looks, etc., and have observed how the sociopaths/psychopaths have come out more and more brazenly into the open with each passing year. Many of us sincerely attempt to do what we can so as not to bankrupt future generations.
There are lots of good boomers. I'm on the cusp, and have been disgusted with many establishment boomers but there are also many many good ones who have not been hypocritical virtue-signaling assholes.
Thank you. I am a boomer (mid seventies) And I didn't advertently play their game until retirement when I took a job as a college instructor teaching aquaculture. I quit in disgust after teaching two semesters. What a bunch of phonies our academics are. I spent my life working different production jobs as the Canadian governments shut them down one after another. Being versatile and having a love of working with my hands kept our heads out of the water. I hope the whole works of them lose everything. They'd die if they had to do a day's work. Come to think of it that would make me cry either. Our countries were built on the backs of the hard working people of this country, the ones they sent off to die in every fabricated war they could invent. Never forget their sacrifices. Blisters and callouses will rebuild our countries.
You're spot on. I spent 5 years working at a community college in CA and yeah they were all phonies, with a bloated administration sucking up all the $$. The profs were virtue-signaling cowards. It was unbearable when covid hit, so that's when I left.
I am a Boomer who stayed home and raised three children. At 76 I have watched and seen it all. The destruction of our towns by Wal-Marts, 7-Elevens, magnificent miles of car dealerships, & every chain store & fast food restaurant you can name … so every town looks exactly the same w/ all small businesses & exceptionalism ruined. I’ve watched the blue skies & puffy clouds disappear to dreary, gray sameness day after day. I’ve watched the beauty of lovely architecture, gorgeous fields & neighborhoods of trees, shrubs, & bushes disappear into concrete jungles with hideous flat square buildings that are depressing to look at. And murder to the human soul. I’ve watched people go from gloves, dresses, suits & heels on the airplanes to pajamas & bed head. I’ve watched schools go from disciplined formal teaching, w/ plenty of recess & lunch ladies cooking the meals to social engineering, chaos, unlimited days off, no recess & fattening, processed garbage for food.
I could go on & on. “They” have destroyed everything they possibly could. They ruined beauty in every way. They took everything away that gave life meaning. If it weren’t for my children and my faith in God I probably would not be here. So, the Boomers may be responsible but I don’t know what we could do to stop them. Just as I don’t know how to stop the unhinged, repulsive people doing everything in their power to destroy Trump. Voting in my Blue town is an exercise in futility, but I do it. And I pray.
Well said - this is my exact take on what they've done to towns and cities since the 1970s. It's horrific. And all we really CAN do is pray, and I think that's powerful and important. I honestly don't see any of that reversing in my lifetime and I've come to accept that. So I moved somewhere that still has lots of natural beauty (for now - although the Woke Jacobin Commies are working on destroying it and making it another concrete "info center"), and if that disappears, I'll keep moving.
I’m 10 years younger and could have written this. The tragedy is I suspect most people under the age of 30 have no idea what they’ve lost so they won’t do a thing to try to get it back. I don’t know what’s worse - the “crudscape” or the relentless aerial spraying. It’s like something opened the gates of Hell in the early 70s.
As an American Manufacturing Professional, I never bought into any of the bullshit pedaled by traitors intent on control. I was a Pacesetter anywhere I ever worked and I remain a Pacesetter to this day when it comes to "How It's Made". If you want something Made right, bring it to us. We will make your ideas real fast at www.wallisimagineering.com In the past year, we made over 5.5 million parts used to assemble GM car condenser coils that are part of the GM car air conditioning system. The customer redesigned the part making them easier to make so they can make them themselves. New opportunities are presenting themselves to replace that work with something else. Send us your most challenging parts to stamp, we will figure out the rest. ##ResumeIndependenceOrExpectToDieCommunist
Mr. Wallis, I copied your comment and sent it to a small business owner who is in the early stages of growth and expansion, building onto his manufacturing facility. He will likely need some parts engineered. I hope you two get together. You sound like a man after his own heart.
Yes, the Capitalist scum used to rage about what they called "patriotic capitalism" in the far East. The East Asians never bought the idea that the public and private spheres could be kept apart and that the private sphere could do whatever it wanted, the nation be damned. They were wiser than we were, apart from the scourge of Maoism that sought to destroy the private sphere completely. That's just as crazy as trying to destroy the public sphere like the Libertarians want.
Trade is great but what can be made in the nation should be made in the nation. More power to you.
I am a New Zealand Boomer and one of the most aggressive and active against the bioweapon. Active enough to provoke bank cancellations and interest from the low level NZ security service
I, too, notice a divide between breeders and the childless boomers. Those of us with offspring really care HARD about the future world we bequeath to following generations. Materialist/Nihilists, on the other hand, not so much. Blessings to you.
The Trump tariffs may help, but without addressing structural elements of the economy, tariff imposition is just cosmetic. The rot that we see in the US economy is mostly the result of socioeconomic policies instigated by woke leftism. Here's the bottom line...
A society can have equality or quality, but it can't have both.
Equality cannot be used as the basis for personal or societal interrelationships. For at least 200 years, such attempts have been causing nothing but misery and destruction. When applied to people, equality is an evil lie. Instead, a well functioning society should be concerned with reciprocity, mobility, meritocracy, consistency, accessibility, subsidiarity, and complementarity.
Words have implicit contexts. You don't use the word 'sexy' when talking about farm animals. In the same way, you shouldn't use the word 'equality' when talking about people. Equality is a theoretical concept that has meaning only in the context of math and physics. But today we have people that deliberately misuse words by shifting their effective context, especially 'equality'. These people are woke leftists, and all of them are insane. If you believe equality is morality, then you're insane, too, and you can blame the current societal dystopia and any coming collapse on your own mistaken beliefs, all of which have consequences.
I always equate it as someone getting 90% on an exam and having 20% taken away and given to someone with 50%. Pretty insane isn't it. This is what the leftists mean by "equity:
Even worse is having the exam changed to fit one ethnic group, or omitted because that group does not have the ambition to study. Math exams have been modified or deleted by school districts all over the country because Blacks just do not get it. Not get it? How about do not care about education?
OBTW, that description is bringing on the stupidification (my non-word word) of America. Think for a moment, who benefits from stupidification? People who want to dictate, people who lie, people who make their living pulling the wool over people’s eyes. UH huh, power people, government.
The train is leaving Wall Street, heading to Main Street, and those of us who understand that it may be a bumpy ride are on it until the end. Trump has taken the helm from Wall Streeters, and the 50% of us paying for all that excess fugazy could care less about the wailing and rending going on in the fake world of stocks and bonds. We want our country back. I want the security of knowing our pharmaceuticals are made here, as well as everything else the world needs. The Wall Streeters and their Journal robbed us of our hometown pride, our family of workers, our wealth, our country. I hope they lose their shirts betting against Trump. This train leads back to a country of towns with parades on July 4th instead of gay ‘pride’- of learned librarians reading real children’s books instead of trannies reading trash to our children. Of workers taking pride in producing goods, and the dignity of a job well done. Trump is so much more than money; and the debased left will never understand that because most of them were educated by the NEA. Those days are finally over, and it took Trump to show us it could be done. We’re not going back.
And while you’re at it, let’s get away from all those pharmaceuticals and back to basics - good clean wholesome food, good work, water, exercise, rest, and above all, love of God, the truth and neighbor.
That is the only way to make the best choices for ourselves, as well as our society.
Religious belief systems introduce UNSUPPORTED CLAIMS and take us away from the path to Truth, robbing us of the ability to make the best decisions in our lives.
"Religious belief systems introduce UNSUPPORTED CLAIMS and take us away from the path to Truth, robbing us of the ability to make the best decisions in our lives."
Perhaps you could tell your paediatrician daughters exactly that about the stuff they're injecting into entirely helpless little children, Dennis. Vaccination is a cult and a psyop, Dennis, not a science. If you can't question it, it is BY DEFINITION not science. Present an argument against that point if you feel up to it.
No matter the subject you became apoplectic about vaccinations!
You get all nasty and insulting to me about my paediatric doctor daughters who you don't even know and haven't ever met. You have no idea on their thoughts on vaccinations. Implying they are bad pediatricians injecting stuff into entirely helpless little children.
I'd appreciate it if you lay off this! It's not a good look my dear. You are coming off as a bit of a nut case.
"Vaccination is a cult and a psyop not a science". OK write your paper, have it peer reviewed and published, and go collect your Nobel Prize.
Dennis, my dear, do provide some evidence of apoplexy. I merely responded to one of your endless, endless, endless, tedious responses to anyone who mentions religion. I haven't insulted your daughters, Dennis, I'm suggesting you help them to the truth, since you've just claimed it's so important to you. You insult people every time you're on here, Dennis, my dear. You keep mentioning that religious people are 'just a bit stupid'. How many times have you said that? Why are your insults OK, but everyone must tread on eggshells around you?
I don't think you should be telling people on a free space, where freedom of speech is a thing, to STFU, Dennis. I think maybe you should go and write your paper proving that there is no Creator and have it peer reviewed, then go and collect your Nobel Prize for Logic or whatever. Because at the moment, your logic is not quite there. But I'm not going to tell you to STFU, because you are free to write your endless, endless, endless, tedious ripostes to every mention of religion, and copy-paste the same stuff over and over and over and over again, as long as the owner of the blog is happy for you to do it. It's just that people do have every right to respond to your responses. See how it works, Dennis, my dear?
Interestingly, the first half of your diatribe is trying to suggest that maybe your daughters don't vaccinate children, but the end of your diatribe is suggesting there is no evidence that vaccines do any harm. Again, clarity is always helpful.
PS I also might mention that your 'no matter what the subject' is a bit out of place since we have had exactly two exchanges about vaccines and paediatricians. Both were occasioned by your tedious remarks about religion. Maybe you should think more about why, since literally everyone knows your views on religion because you repeat them ad nauseam to no possible effect whatsoever, you continue to wax 'apoplectic' about other people's personal beliefs with which you are bizarrely and unhealthily obsessed.
If posters want to endlessly and tediously post religion claims in this thread with no evidence, I have every right to respond to them until JHK bans me.
I don't mock people for being religious. I do however mock those for thinking their personal religion is exempt from mockery.
I merely point out the fallaciousness of their claims. If that offends anyone, that is their problem not mine. They are perfectly free to make their counterarguments. They never do, but resort to rubbishing your character
BTW, the burden of proof that there is a creator falls on those that claim there is one. It's nothing to do with logic my dear. It's a matter of epistemology; the theory of knowledge, especially with regard to its methods, validity, and scope, and the distinction between justified belief and opinion. Something you don't have a clue about. Whether it's with respect to religion or vaccinations.
And by the way, besmirching my daughters, neither of whom you know, and dragging them through the mud suggesting they are guilty of malpractice, is very low class. As is implying that I know there is evidence that vaccines do no harm. I leave that question to educated doctors, not uneducated keyboard warriors like you.
I just love getting told I'm a liar by someone I never met.
You are not going to get away with that my dear.
“No amount of belief makes something true.” - James Randi
Read your latest post again! Do you provide any evidence that a creator exists? Or any evidence supporting your wild claim that vaccinating kids does more harm than good? Of course you don't. You don't have any, so you just resort to bashing me and my posts.
Oh dear, Dennis. You never can argue a point. And, because of that, you waste my time.
(1) 'Do you provide any evidence that a creator exists?'
Where did I say I was arguing for the existence of a creator? I don't argue about such things as I've said multiple times that intellectual argument on that topic is a waste of everyone's time. I merely said if YOU think you can resolve the issue in that way, then go ahead and do it (but I didn't, notably, tell you to STFU if you couldn't, because I am not like you). I was also pointing out the silliness of your demand that I should write a thesis, when the proof of vaccine damage already exists. Why re-invent the wheel? I also already directed you in a prevous post to the Substacks of Sasha Latypova and Katherine Watt, which are essential to understanding the nefarious means by which the US Government has implemented its vaccination programme. Similar laws exist elsewhere.
(2) I did not say you do not have the right to bore everyone to tears with your obsession either. You clearly have that right, even though your tedious, repetitive copy-pasting does not appear to have the slightest effect on anyone's beliefs. Rather, no-one 'likes' those posts and no-one bothers arguing with them either. So, basically, you're talking to yourself, which you have the right to do, if you like wasting your time.
(3) I have not besmirched your daughters. I have asked you to point out to them, if they are not aware, that unvaccinated children do not suffer from the plethora of chronic conditions from which vaccinated children suffer (which makes a fortune for the medico-pharma cartel); nor do they tend to die of SIDS, which mostly happens shortly after vaccination. (Incidentally I consider it helpful to point this out generally as there may be someone on here who then goes off and does their own research, which may save a child from the Russian roulette of vaccination - why would that effort not be worthy?)
If your dauighters already know that, say, more children are harmed by MMR than by actual measles, then you just need to say that. If they don't know, then rather than 'besmirching' them, I am potentially providing a public service to their patients through their surely caring father who would not want them to find out another way, e.g. by a lawsuit from a patient's parents.
Your position seems to be:
I Dennis Merwood, may call people stupid and I may write tedious, repetitive posts regarding my personal obsession about other people's beliefs, but no-one may respond unless they wish to engage in a stupid to-and-fro that simply cannot be resolved by intellectual argument. If they point out anything else (e.g. that there is some irony in the fact that vaccination is a religion more than it is a science, given my MO), they will be told to STFU by a person who, with further irony, claims not to like any kind of reflections to be made on himself or the well known issues which everyone is aware of regarding the medico-pharma cartel.
Your daughters may be lovely human beings, Dennis, in which case, if they don't already know what I've told you, they should, logically, be grateful to be told. Doctors don't study vaccination at medical school, as I've already pointed out. They are just given a vaccination schedule and told to get on with it and not question it. Meanwhile, with every increase in the number of shots (currently around 80 in the US) chronic conditions like autism skyrocket.
Finally, Dennis my dear, you ask if I don't have something better to do. Pots-kettles, Dennis. We may all, including you and I, spend our time doing as we wish.
What was he correct about? All I heard was clueless Canadian blather about American events and society that he was 2,000 miles away from and had no business commenting on.
But that is the Canadian schtick to kibitz endlessly about what America is or has done wrong while their country literally stands for nothing does nothing.
Worse yet we have an election coming up and it looks like the brainwashed mindless masses will vote to keep this mindless woke horseshit going. If that happens I fear my country will cease to exist. Trudeau, Carney. Freeland and the rest are all WEF stooges dedicated to destroying our heritage.
I make Maple syrup every year here in the Berkshires. Sugar maples abound. The beautiful Berkshires. An hour from the oceans and an hour from the snow-massed hills of the Greens. I head to Buzzards every spring and fall. The Pioneer valley. It's beautiful. Too bad about Eastern MA. Bluetards. Up in he hills of western MA it is still the 1800.s. if you stay away from the easterners.
It is beautiful. Too bad it's in Massachusetts. Way out on the Cape is nice too, once you get past Dennis. But, again, its still in Massachusetts. No group of white people, anywhere on earth, is more horrible and irredeemable than Bostonians. A truly evil and horrible people.
LOL! They love to move "down south" and explain our culture to us, though a few are truly great people who dig authenticity. I like Jonathan Richman's music (a Bostonian, I think). Otherwise, just thinking "Boston" gives me the creeps. Stupid music combo, too, though, apparently, Scholz was a super engineer.
My buddy from Georgia calls them "half-backers." They move to Florida, but its too hot and there are too many bugs, so they move halfway back and end up in North Carolina or Tennessee.
A friend of mine taps maple trees at her family's woods around the Mt. Pleasant area in Michigan and makes a few small batches of maple syrup every year. She's hoping to fit in one more boil this season. The syrup is exquisite, like nothing I've ever tasted before. I take it straight off the spoon, it's too good to waste putting it on something.
I haven't been to Canada in several years and I might never go again. Any fucking third-world primitive can waltz right in, but I have to bring nine forms of ID and go through an interrogation to get into Canada. Fuck you.
And my wife who happens like me to be white gets pulled out of a line at the airport and put through a security check. We are rapidly becoming a minority in the country our ancestors built.
The airport is security theater. It's an elaborate production that has nothing to do with keeping people safe. My wife and I got into an argument with an illiterate, unintelligible Indian and a sassy, low-IQ Puerto Rican bitch at the airport in Toronto once. They left us to stand in limbo between passport checkpoints for an hour, almost missing our flight. I had to hold my wife back from punching Jenny from the Block in the face.
They continually and incessantly provoked us right in front of a cop, hoping we would do something. I had a gate agent from another airline come up to me and tell me how ridiculous and unprofessional they were. White guy, obviously.
Soon after they passed the patriot act I was flying out of Las Vegas when I watched a TSA agent female white nasty looking all of 5'0" by 5' wide harass a teenage girl for not taking her laptop out and turning it on.
To the point she had the girl in tears.
I calmly pointed out if she quit yelling at the young lady she might not be so nervous.
She coldy said "Are you interfering with me in the performance of my job duties".
My response your job is not to humiliate and terrify teen age girls I then asked for her supervisor and said I am not a teenage girl to her.
I reported her behavior and went on my merry way.
My connecting flight from Los Angeles to San Diego experienced a bag check on every passenger flying on the same flight as me and the flight was delayed because of it.
That will teach me to open my yap and defend the innocent.
I would do it again and if it happened now, I would ask for the next tier supervisor.
Under Biden I had to walk by hundreds of illegal aliens camped out at our airports and show ID all over but they walked them through with zero ID onto special flights.
We were on a bus trip to the F1 race in Montreal a few years . One guy on the bus had a dui arrest 5 years previously. Dudley Doorights made a big deal out of it and almost turned around 40 people who would have spent thousands in the country. The Canuck Border Police boss finally acquiesced, saw the folly of their ways, grew some balls and a brain, saw how stupid they were acting and allowed us in to enjoy the cars and strip clubs of the 51st state
Yeah, so the law is that they won't let anyone in who has a felony. DUI is felony in Canada, but not here, but they won't let us in because it is their idea that our misdemeanor class is wrong. I've known many people barred from CAN because of this.
I was a tour director that led tours from Boston to the Canadian Maritimes. The fascist Canadian border patrol turned away many people on tours who didn’t know a DUI twenty years ago was a big deal for the Canucks. One time, a guy they kicked off our tour stayed at a border hotel and let his wife continue the tour. We picked him up on the way back.
I finally refused to do Canadian tours. I couldn’t deal with the pricks at the border anymore. There were times they’d bring German shepherds on board to scan the bus, scaring the shit out of everyone. Or they’d make us all get off the bus so they could climb aboard and go through everyone’s bags and luggage. These tours were mostly seniors—great people who wanted to travel a little after retirement. They so obviously posed no threat to Canada. One time, they made us take out every single suitcase from below the bus—more than 40, so they could riffle through them with their dogs. It took hours, but they seemed to delight in it all.
The DeepState uses Canada to introduce new control measures to see how they fly. Euthanasia and border fascism are two examples.
Canada has sat on the northern border since there was a northern border. Poor management with the USMCA and NAFTA before it has allowed Canada to run a positive trade allowance with us to the point it is now noticeable and objectionable. Those days are over. The rip the USA off world economics are gone.
A good question here. Why do tariffs exist? What would happen is some global leader said “No Mas”, no more tariffs?
I watched a report last night about countries starting to limit American immigration more and more. Canada was number one, others were Mexico, China, Russia and Japan. In between the lines, it was obvious that they are limiting immigration for the same reasons we are in the USA, to stop the erosion of the common cultures and the labor pools. The world is going isolationist and nationalistic as each country is trying to preserve their piece of the pie. Globalism is dying, survival in the future is going to depend on how well countries can corner resource markets. It will get violent too, as nations start to run out of resources.
The Ten Kingdoms that some talk about, may become the future.
Interesting. Definitely a strike for State’s Rights. How would it work, who would be limited and what goods and services would be limited?
Right now, the Congress, per the Constitution, sec 1, has the power to impose tariffs and regulate immigration. As the Congress is worthless for the last 70 years, both powers have been passed to the President by Congressional action. So now the battle rises again.
BTW, the Constitution actually says that these powers are the Central Government’s, and states are not allowed.
Pete way to many Canadians have very shitty attitudes towards Americans and the Government.
It takes a lot to get some of them to admit it as they like to "act" nice and pretend they don't have horrible biases.
I have seen in the last forty years some pretty good back and forth arguments online and actual fist fights at old school big lan parties specifically back when Quake 2 was huge.
The truth is there is very little different than us as far as people go. If anything the Americans I have met exploring the backwoods up here are friendlier than a lot of our own people. How stupid is it to fight with someone who has the same hopes and dreams as we do? I believe we were all put here to try and help one another. If we all took this attitude we would have a much better world. Years ago I met some Russian sailors in Vancouver. They too were a very friendly decent bunch. The point is a country's politics have very little to do with people. Screw the politics and enjoy people's company when you get the opportunity.
He's like the Michael Moore of Canada. They purport to represent the "people," but neither of them have any idea what real, middle class people are like. Interestingly, both of them look like fat (I'm being redundant) lesbians.
I don't understand why anyone gives a shit what this fat, worn out pathetic old slob thinks. In fact, I feel that way about anyone who considers themselves to be a "celebrity." These people may be well known but that doesn't mean they are any smarter than anyone else, in fact, most of them probably have lower intelligence levels than an average person.
I don't even know what songs Niel Young is famous for.
Enjoyed his music 50 years ago but his political views were always seemed like pablum for the narrow minded. Much like many entertainers. Always looked at it that it came with the territory and what their manger’s told them was good for their careers.
The old just shut up and sing! I didn’t come to your show to hear your opinions…
Rumor is that David Crosby was working with the CIA and probably Young was as well, or CSIS rather. Co-opt a movement and then denigrate and marginalize it, the old blackwashing maneuver.
Celebrities like Young, DiCaprio and Fonda to name a few are nothing more than useful idiots who stick their noses in where they don't belong. Fonda was running around protesting the seal harvest here and in Europe. What I found funny was when a few years later an outbreak of canine distemper wiped out over 80% of the Harp seal population on the European coast. These animals suffered horrendous deaths due to overpopulating their environment. A lot fewer would have died from harvests that kept their numbers in check. DiCaprio runs around in his private jet telling us we are polluters. What a shining example of hypocrisy! Young is just another narcissistic asshole of the same bent. Maybe they would be better off if they learned to keep their mouths shut about what they know nothing about.
Those of us who aren't brainwashed don't go or support them. This is why it's so important for us to go out in public and speak to people. They don't read alternative news. In fact most are unaware of it. Only by speaking with people and giving them the information to check out these sites can we begin to awaken them.
Great point. I try to share these sites with people but, amazingly, they are not interested. I have a good friend who admits that he doesn't know much of the political situation. When I try to refer him to various alternative sites he always responds that he just doesn't have the patience to deal with it. Frustrating.
What's more frustrating are the ones who tell me that it doesn't matter what I can say or show them they're not going to change their minds anyway. Or, worse yet, I've always voted this way and I'm not going to change. Talk about being fully indoctrinated.
Dead on about Neil Young. God, what a destroyed soul. Good news, though: “Oligarchy-Stock” is coming to LA next weekend; the list of performers includes
1) Neil Young and Batshit Crazy Horse
2) Joan Baez, Shitlibs With Rust
3) Country Joe Biden and the Fish,
4) Acosio-Cortes and the Kozmik Vote Blue No Matter Who Band,
I have wondered why these people, the celebrity class are so socialist. Most have had to bust their asses to get here they are. Why do they want to give away everything to a population of gimmes?
There are several reasons. There’s a bubble of friends and opinions, there’s status and price that comes with it, there’s a paycheck attached, there’s a legacy to protect, there’s fear of being demoted, there’s a reputation or the perception of one, there’s an entourage to feed, there’s a lack of common sense, there’s a deadening of critical thinking if ever it existed, to begin with, and it wasn’t all a facade. And lastly, there’s a facade. On the list of priorities are 1, 2, and 3.
Wow! Where’ve ya been? If anyone makes it in the entertainment industry these days it’s because they’ve been blackmailed. Look up “The black eye club.”
I have a friend in the entertainment business. Here’s his summation: if you’re making your way up, you get approached to “join the club.” If you refuse, your career stops there. He said one of his friends was told he had to do some ungodly things with a corpse while being videotaped to make it in the industry. He refused. His career ended.
Never heard of the black eye club or corpse defilement if true that is disgusting and demonic.
I know about the casting couch escapades and have known some B grade actors and actresses who have said getting that in can be very difficult for a straight laced person.
I hadn't thought about Ravi Shankar in years. Isn't it hilarious to look back at how all of those Boomer "legends" were desperately searching for enlightenment from every conceivable culture, but their own? They never thought to look back at their own ancestors who built the world. Brown people must know the real truth.
That said, the message is so stale. It’s lost all of its cache. I don’t know what kids today cling to that has any ring of authenticity to it. JHK is right, they killed music, movies, comedy, it’s all rot. The only thing left is to mock the ruins.
Rick, perhaps you can settle a question I have about the accordion. A number of Texas bands that I like will use the accordion in some of their songs. Is this an influence from Cajun/Creole music, or is it from the Germans who settled parts of Texas?
Both, but much more German/polka influenced. The TexMex polkas are incredible, the Flaco Jimenez/Esteban Jordan stuff, incredible. You don't hear polkas much (or at all) in Cajun/Creole. Manic two-steps, yes, but not strict polkas. That shit's German.
Thanks, for that. I imagined it was more German. The band at my wedding played hard country (Paycheck, Coe, Haggard, etc.) and polkas. The perfect combination.
04/07/25: This looks like a funeral home's Disneyland! Now: It gets personal: I'd never heard of Fiona Hill until today. I think she's the most dangerous of them all. Take a look at her Deep State-Wikipedia profile. The "Steele Dossier" is still exhibited AS IF IT IS STILL A SOURCE OF RELIABLE INFORMATION --- as if it had never been exposed as a fraud, a hoax funded by Hillary Clinton. The day that Trump exacts his "retribution" on her is one that I hope I live long enough to witness. My great-uncle's money put her through Harvard. She became an American citizen in 2002. And SHE IS A TRAITOR.
“Retarded slob rock-and-roller” are words that fit (and that I longed to hear someone say someday about) this wretched POS, Neil Young. I’m not going to be sorry when his pathetic end comes, as well as most others named here. Hopefully, the market slump will hit them more than most. They are among the most pitiable people on planet Earth. The people who follow and worship them are already paying the price health wise, at least some I know are miserable with ailments that follow their vaxxed status.
My guess is that they insisted they have A jab due to fear of death-- that seems to be epidemic in the older Boomer crowd. Was it a toxic one or saline? That's my question.
Hayek told us don't let the war planners get ahold of the economy.
They did in WWII, with rationing; then, the soldiers came home and went to school on the GI Bill. That is where war planning became the corporate culture of academia and economic theory, as those young soldiers' formative years were of being in war.
Part of that is that your troops are expendable, which meant Heritage America due to the low immigration rates allowed at the time. This is how Burnham's Managerial Class formed, as he wrote about it in the 1950s.
I remember that not only did WW2 help re-industrialize America, it cured the unemployment problem by killing a big group of people. It sounds disgusting but at national government level, table talk.
I'm too poor to hold any fake money and never participated in the fugazy. If the 10% comes back down to earth, we all will be better off. Peace may even break out!
Don't assume those who look old are "boomers". The oldest Gen X-ers are now 60 and those who lean left often look closer to 80 because of their vegan and vegetarian diets. For example, Ryan Routh, the second person who tried to assasinate Trump, is a member of Gen X although quite a few people assumed he was a "boomer" because he looks old.
Also, don't overlook the very real possibility that these are paid protestors in an astroturf movement and that some of those old folks are simply trying to earn some extra income in order to stretch their monthly allotment from Social Security. It's a myth that "boomers" made out like bandits. Stagflation hit just as the oldest "boomers" began joining the work force, followed by the oil embargo and the move to offshore and downsize the manufacturing base. Sure, those at the very top made out like bandits, but the rest? Not so much. I've come across data that suggests 20% of "boomers" control 80% of the wealth attributed to that generation... quite likely the children and grandchildren of the top 20% of previous generations... while 50% of "boomers" have no financial assets. They didn't all become doctors, lawyers or Wall Street traders, and because of the aforementioned offshoring and downsizing those good paying jobs that didn't require a college degree became harder to find.
That said, I'm tired of these games of divide and control and this includes playing people off each other based on when they were born.
Your positive energy (gems of written wisdom) is spectacular. There’s mega hope to latch onto, for sure. The woebegone wokesters are on the run, held back by their stupidity and the load of excrement in their pants.
What in Sam Hill is being created in the economy that my 403(b) can increase by $10,000 every three months? How does this apparent wealth and value filter down into my account? I’ve always wondered how long this could go on.
Time to take some of those funds out of the market and invest in some tangibles, like land, farm tools, and some physical gold/silver as even though the price is high just now if the market tanks you'll still be ahead of the game - and you'll be holding tangible goods that you can pass along to loved ones.
Or as Catherine Austin Fitts recommends, take some of those funds out and pay off the mortgage of someone you love - i.e., use that cash to help others get out of debt.
Good idea Lisa, but not unless you’ve taught them how to stay out of debt in the future. In other words, don’t give them the fish without first teaching them to fish. Otherwise, it’ll be all for naught and heartache!
Yes. We bailed both of our sons out. Now they are no better of and we are that much poorer. Furthermore neither one of them wants anything to do with us now because we "don't understand". Understand what? Living within your means is just common sense which neither one of them seems to have.
I’m sorry to hear that Peter. I hope they didn’t go out and buy new cars! It’s the number ONE reason most families stay slaves to debt. I’ll be praying for your family.
Not only that, but you don't even want a new car these days as they're all set up to spy on your every move and apparently there's talk of adding a 'kill switch' so that you won't even be able to drive it...
Absolutely, I wouldn’t want one on a bet! Although, I’ve got a nephew who owns a Mercedes Benz (I think) and he used his kill switch when it was stolen and the cops found them on the side of the road, through the GPS system! In that case, it worked out for him but I still wouldn’t buy one! So the kill switches are already there. I think his was about 5yrs old but I can’t remember exactly.
They see a society that has very little financial smarts and emulate them. Young folk are susceptible to peer pressure, look at their friends, are they spendthrifts?
I guess it's the million dollar question... whether or not the market's going to continue to tank. Some say that it reached it's high. Of course, I have no idea! I'm just thinking that even with a 5% loss - wouldn't everyone rather have used those funds to help someone out instead of just having them disappear into the ether?
Do you think so? I know that she is concerned that the DOGE operation is simultaneously data mining everything it examines in order to expand the Deep State control grid but I don't mind hearing a cautionary voice. I love seeing DOGE expose the vast amounts of fraud (although I'll never fully get behind Musk due to his neurolink project which I consider part of the transhumanist agenda). - I want to be optimistic and look at all of this as 2 steps forward, 1 step back. Once we actually see the 'masterminds' of these fraudulent programs (including covid) genuinely being held criminally accountable I'll consider it more than 2 steps forward.
I agree that breakaway civ is Mr Global's plan. I just no longer believe they will be successful against a world reawakening to sovereignty. See my reply to Blackbird for context.
I consider Catherine Austin Fitts and Scott Ritter to be two of the sanest, most informative voices out there. Perhaps you could explain how it is that you think they have lost their minds?
I used to as well, but fear can drive the sanest of people to distraction. Also, FYI, I'm no longer in the business of persuading anyone to my way of thinking. I see a larger spiritual warfare at play, & it really doesn't matter what we all THINK, as we're ALL about to find the fuck out.
Sometimes being zoomed in to a specialty prevents seeing the bigger picture; I recommend Badlands Media (some shows exclusively on Rumble) for biggest picture discourse. Perhaps CAF will turn out to be right. But participation in the crypto defi (decentralized finance) space, Astrology & my gut instinct from God, Whose counsel I hold above any human, all indicate to me that things will further decentralize as the Old System dies. As much as I've been Cassandra my whole life, having survived early childhood trafficking & witnessing said traffickers murder my mother at almost 4, I simply no longer see apocalyptic totalitarian doom as inevitable. In fact, I now see a rebirth of sovereignty the world over (with non-US 5 Eyes & EU seriously lagging). The fight is far from over, but the outcome all but assured, akin to the taking of Midway- most of the *fighting & dying* still lay ahead, but the die was pretty much cast at that point.
As for SR, he can't seem to decide if Iran already has the bomb or doesn't even want it, & then recently on with Jamarl Thomas, he devolved into a woke rant about how much white people just want to slaughter black & brown people. His wypipo rhetoric is certainly incoherent in the face of funding mass death in the Ukraine & Novorossiya.
There is another element to my having spit out the Big Black Pill I never quite swallowed, even over decades of manically trying to convince normies of the horrifying existence of an international industry of rape, torture & murder: we humans are in co-creative relationship with each other & the Earth, projecting our thoughts & feelings into the collective future reality. We must take care to not think & speak the dystopia into existence with our certainty in it.
I thank God every day that child trafficking conspiracy theory has passed into conspiracy FACT, so that I can finally separate from identifying so closely with having suffered helplessly at the hands of Satan's most depraved minions.
Yeah, I saw a Scott Ritter interview recently - don't remember where - where he suddenly diverged into this white-guilt mea culpa. It seemed rehearsed to me, more polished than his usual answers to questions, such as on "Judging Freedom". I wondered what was up and assumed he was under some kind of pressure for appearing Rayciss. He has been subject to attempted erasure for awhile. But I think his position on Iran is well-considered: it is not a simple "yes/no" decision for Iran to move forward on nuclear weapons development. This is, in my opinion, Scott Ritter's specialty. Whining about "white privilege"? An aberration in a field in which I don't look to Scott Ritter for an informed opinion.
Centralization vs. decentralization: It appears to me that the momentum is with centralization. They have the money, more every year. They have the power, more every year. I don't see a crash of civilization in the (near) future, I see a controlled demolition, with our masters standing atop the heap of rubble when the dust settles. Rubble for us, unparalleled wealth and power for them.
He's intelligent but he's also the manic fat guy type who often believes what he wants to believe. Like, "Hezbollah can take Northern Israel anytime it wants." Or his complete confidence that the Assad was going to crush the Sunni insurgents days before Syria collapsed and he fled.
Neuro-Lingustic Programming phrases all you want, dude. I'm simply using commonly
understood language to
reference the very real forces with which humans must grapple. Good & evil are both very real; if you are unaware of that FACT, you are beyond anyone's help.
I agree that someone who is well diversified (i.e., has physical assets, including a stash of cash and some metal stored somewhere safe - and that means in your own safe, not in a bank 'safe deposit box' which may end up forfeit) has the luxury to ride out the market without sweating the load but what about those who currently have everything tied up in the stock market? In these uncertain times $ is flowing to tangibles which are always a safer bet than the stock market. Of course, here in the U.S. things are at this time more stable than over in Europe. It must be an extremely unsettling time for anyone imprisoned under the yoke of unelected EU officials.
Lisa, this is a good time to reflect on your portfolio, how it got there and your age.
In the last 5 years the S&P has dropped 13% while Gold has increased 44%.
As you increase the timeline the difference is even larger.
The S&P is the canary because the index is continually refreshed to only promote the winners and remove the losers.
The basic idea is to balance your investment in indices like the SPX as you age with hard assets like Gold, like 40%/20%, pick the ratio you're comfortable with. Stop trading hot stocks and start investing long term in your 40's.
What's being created? Money out of thin air is being created by the printing presses. That brand new "money" is injected into the system and those at the beginning get all that new money at current prices. The banks. The problem is that it eventually trickles down to we the little folk and by that time all that money being injected into the system makes our savings more and more worthless. Yeah, I have $100,000 in my savings but what good is it if I have to pay $100,000 to buy a fucking pick up truck?
So, what are they creating? Worthless funny munny. That is one thing that government is damned good at creating.
I checked with a contractor a few years ago about the cost of a standard 2-car garage here at my rural property and the estimate was $35-40k, which at the time shocked me although since then a neighbor stated that it's probably up to $60k now so I guess I missed out on an opportunity. Yes, much better to spend the $40k on a garage that will hold up over the years than on a car that will be a pile of junk in twenty...
Those three dots don't contain an edit function in the Android APP, Dennis. Is there something wrong with your reading comprehension? Do you know what an APP is, Dennis???
I get REALLY fucking sick of hearing about a nonexistent edit function from non-Android APP users. Every. Single. Time. I say something about how this APP needs to have one added. So happy for you that the three dots work that way on YOUR screen, but FUCK OFF with that BULLSHIT!!!
The tariffs seem to be a spark that's ignited a bit of deflation - fake money being destroyed in earnest. Let's hope that the underlying economic processes can remain cobbled together long enough to get local US production going and trade rebalanced. If not, I think war(s) or another plandemic-level psychop is on deck.
The window is definitely short as resource depletion is kicking into a steeper decline. I could easily see the effects of that early on in The Long Emergency. What I didn't count on was the human factor of greed, stupidity and criminal behavior being so persistent. I'm not sure where this ends up, but in some ways we at least have an adult pilot in the cockpit, and some other adults on board.
We'll find out very soon how suicidal some of the Deep Staters are on what we'll be a very eventful flight before landing....
The problem with tariffs is the next President, a Democrat, is going to come in and reverse all the tariffs. 3.5 years is not enough time to get all these manufacturers to return to the USA and start making stuff. 8 years, perhaps. Americans love flying on the political pendulum. If Trump doesn't start making things happen, and soon, in the mid-terms the Congress will go back to the Democrats and in 4 years the presidency and then, yet again, all of Trump's efforts will vanish.
Americans are too stupid and impatient to let things play out.
I don't think that will happen. More likely Trump's financial success (based upon far more than merely tariffs- see Taibbi & Kern on last night's Racket News weekly show) will make him enormously popular going into the midterms, resulting in even fewer Dems & RINOs. That will lead to new legislation by Congress cementing EOs. And then whomever he endorses will win easily in a newly unrigged voting system.
You seem to think Trump is all alone in his fight, singlehandedly implementing things without much forethought about the long term. But there is every indication that Trump has been recruiting his people & putting pieces into place for at least two decades. This is a man planting trees that will provide shade for those who come after. I recommend Badlands Media (some shows exclusively on Rumble) for the 10,000 foot view of how it all fits together.
Magdalene, you have an optimism that I just don't have. Wish I did. As the executive the President can only do so much within the confines of the Article 2 of the US Constitution. Article 1 gives much, if not most of the authority to the Congress and we all know how inept and broken the US Congress truly is. Without a willing Congress most of what Mr. Trump can do is very limited.
Don't get me wrong. The man is brilliant and I am a personal admirer of him but he is also very unpredictable.
Believe me, it is weird being the sunny optimist after a lifetime of being Cassandra screaming into the void about the massive child trafficking (a system that I myself survived; being dismissed as "conspiracy theorist" was a deeply personal insult for me), the Long March through the Institutions, etc, & how the Constitution is just a piece of paper if the people don't enforce it, on & on & on! I can hardly believe it myself. But I can only continue to trust God, just as my Cassandra self once trusted that my dire warnings would one day be taken seriously. And here we are! I do find it funny- now that everyone else is getting so black-pilled, I've moved on to the white pill somehow. Hopefully I'm still just ahead of the curve!😁
Yes, thank you! Smoot Hawley was deflationary. Also, inflation & deflation are only meaningful in context, as either one can be a necessary correction or a very bad scenario, depending on the circumstances.
LOL..thats funny
Fucking traitors
+1 for brevity, and +1 for the adjective.
They seem to All have weak spines. They are a club. One of the requirements is to have a weak spine or act as if you do.
Which legitimate executive orders are you talking about?
..goon included in your moniker is purposeful
Yep good one
3 presidents, well 2, really. (the last one should never be even mentioned as a ‘president’) have told SCOTUS--F you.
Look it up, oh posturing expert on the Constitution.
When executive orders are unconstitutional, then the law steps in. Pretty easy process to understand even for someone like yourself
AND do something about the rogue mainstream media who continues to lie to people to the point of almost creating terrorist situations.
I am enjoying much of what has been happening esp.after Biden became der leader I started moving my money out of the market very little left.I see as they say hedge with metals first morning I see were silver is positive on a down market...must see if it last the day,
It is difficult to dispute the benefit of zero counterparty risk.
Thanks that’s a good idea
Gabe
Just a thought for you. Roth IRAs are betting on higher tax rates in the future, IOW when you are forced to cash out after age 70, the taxation will be a higher %. Paying taxes now and none later would be a good thing. However, your need for cash now is probably more than when you retire, and if tax rates decline, you are losing out with a Roth. It all depends on your needs.
Wanna hear the Supremes say to the plaintiffs when they attempt to appear before them “You have no standing”.
I have concerns about Justice Amy Coney Barrett and Roberts is compromised.
Trump’s retribution list is far too short.
I suggest liberal application of gallows...
Why not all those unused mRNA doses? :D
I as well am a boomer, tail end of that generation. Since I was a teenager I have thought of boomers as arrogant & smug.
My children are all actually doing very well, much better than I did at their age. However I am concerned about my grandchildren.
God bless her. Inspiring woman.
Nothing worse than walking out and someone has left the cart free to run into your car.
Yeah that pisses me off too.
Where I live the state leagalized weed about ten years ago.
Now you get a contact high getting out of your car at the grocery store.
Now the government is the dealer,
"Passivity is fatal to us. Our goal is to make the enemy passive."
~ Mao Zedong
Perfect!!!!! We keep building arms, China just sends out more emigres and economic promises. The MIC in this country needs to die.
What’s with the hostile posturing?
Mourning what’s been lost. Hostility vents the worry and fear for humanity’s future.
As far as how they "improve society" I don't know how does any individual? They bring in honey to the beehive, how about that?
That's because the rich boomer is a myth, yeah there are a few but like most in whatever "generation" die with not much.
Your kids are lucky if you have a pot to piss in & a window to throw it out of to pass down to them when it's time to shuffle off this mortal coi.
IOW, the collusion between corporate America and its Deep State have just about done this country in.
Forget CSNY, introducing Kneel Young and the Kneelers.
There is an interview with David Crosby, where he said that CSN got a little 'dark' after Young joined them, and it was like 2 different bands. It seems like even Crosby didn't really like Young very much.
Neal Young is to music what Sean Penn is to acting...
Keep on rocking in the slave world.
Playing Jeff Spicoli was the acme of Penn's life.
Yeah, and "a Southern Man don't need him around anyhow".
"I still can't remember when
Or how I lost my way."
Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Cortez the Killer...
Not all.
Unfortunately my extended family is over represented.
I know your pain. They all think the next democrat is the reincarnation of FDR
& as for Barry, omg he was God's favorite son
🤣
True. The only “awake” people I know fall into the Boomer category, including Howard.
Stern?!? You fuckin' wit' me!???
You were much older then, you're younger than that now.
Zero 7, The Space Between, with Tina Dico singing this so well!
Now that you're older taking the time to learn....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzSvhmwLu6o
Zero 7 and Thievery Corporation are two of the best groups IMHO.
Yes, the wolf we’ve chosen to feed all these years comes round full force to either bite your ass or lick your hand. Choose wisely before you’re trained.
Neil Young and the Promise of the Real put on one of the best sets I ever saw in Memphis back in 2016. It was astounding.
Perfect! Kneel Young…
Excellent point, paisan.
"...dictate to Spotify..." - Giuseppe Corvo
This is where they err, always thinking they can dictate.
The market is a cruel mistress, as they find out.
Yes indeed, that was a perfect example of over estimating yourself, and kicking yourself in your ass at the same time?
Well done Kneel!
I never liked him or his music particularly since I had a friend who dated one of his exes he had a disabled kid w who he would not support. He's also Canadian not American.
"he had a disabled kid w who he would not support"
Ahhh. Indeed, that would explain Neil's sanctimony.
Your last sentence is most relevant.
Kneel Old
Indeed!!
Kneel Young sucked as a musician back then, and he demonstrates every time he opens his mouth that he sucks as a human now.
Good one Ron!
Thanks Mike, still doesn't beat 'Robot polishers' though.
🤣 you remembered that one!
Yes, on the list of all-time CFN classics. Jim keeps a list. You haven't seen it?
Where?🩷.
Miriamnae, see below.
I thought there was a list of JHK isms … Lol…I fall easily.
Don’t worry Miriamnae, he got me too! 🤣🤪😝
No sir, I haven’t? Where do I find it? His homepage? Thanks for the tip!
Aw, I'm just pulling your winkie, Mike. Now one can never be too certain these days, but I'll bet my life that Miriamnae does not have a winkie, so I'm just joshing her.
😝😂
Shoulda happened in 2009. Kicking the can for 16 years can’t be good, or easy to reconcile.
Phenomenal post, you nailed it - thank you!!🙌🏼👊🏼
With the caveat that I realize JHK understands this, I wanted to make the case that not all Boomers went along for the ride.
And I pray.
I couldn't have said it better, Mary!
Spot on Mary. May I translate what you said into “society, guided by grabberment, has become a leaking bag of kitchen garbage…”
<<grabberment>>
Good one!
Thank you kindly Humdeedee. Networking will be key to American Manufacturing Independence going forward. Blessings to you and those you live. John
Thank you and I wish you the same.
Great days ahead for the US Manufacturing Industry indeed.
You rock. You also got me thinking about GMC trucks in a whole new way.
Be American, Buy American.
I am a New Zealand Boomer and one of the most aggressive and active against the bioweapon. Active enough to provoke bank cancellations and interest from the low level NZ security service
Congratulations, and thank you, Paul. It was painful to watch from afar what happened to NZ.
you're a soldier! powder dry
I, too, notice a divide between breeders and the childless boomers. Those of us with offspring really care HARD about the future world we bequeath to following generations. Materialist/Nihilists, on the other hand, not so much. Blessings to you.
I’m a boomer….and I remember ALL the good opportunities I took advantage of….and a real sky!
This is well and clearly stated. I’m taking your word “equality” to be the same as the woke “equity” in DEI.
No quality was the word out of place.
??
A society can have equality or equity, but it can't have both.
I think the way quality was used was 100% correct-
It might be but its not what I have heard Democrats say over and over and specifically with that sentence.
https://direct.mit.edu/ajle/article/doi/10.1162/ajle_a_00019/107229/EQUALITY-VS-EQUITY
The Left use the word “Equity” not Equality.
Equality refers to each individual born onto the same playing field and thereby it being up to each one to work to determine their own future.
Equity is a manufactured and perversion of equality, whereby even the unproductive must get a piece of the pie.
I always equate it as someone getting 90% on an exam and having 20% taken away and given to someone with 50%. Pretty insane isn't it. This is what the leftists mean by "equity:
Peter
Even worse is having the exam changed to fit one ethnic group, or omitted because that group does not have the ambition to study. Math exams have been modified or deleted by school districts all over the country because Blacks just do not get it. Not get it? How about do not care about education?
How about only two of the class actually getting jobs? The rest couldn't pass a drug and alcohol test.
The only remaining question is when we're going to admit it's genetic and that the Old South was right.
OBTW, that description is bringing on the stupidification (my non-word word) of America. Think for a moment, who benefits from stupidification? People who want to dictate, people who lie, people who make their living pulling the wool over people’s eyes. UH huh, power people, government.
Yeah because Capitalists never trick anyone. They don't have any power. Advertising doesn't work because people are schmart like you.
The left are digging in and ramping up for war.
NY’s DOE prepares for showdown with Trump admin after rejecting order to scrap DEI — despite threats to pull funding

How states can make taxes more equitable
https://publicintegrity.org/inequality-poverty-opportunity/taxes/unequal-burden/how-states-can-make-taxes-more-equitable/
How can any of this not be racist?
Yes, real patriotism. Make AIPAC register as a foreign lobby.
Or just ban them outright.
Good with both and BAN all foreign lobbyists.
Ban AIPAC? Ban dual citizenship?
Can we go back and restore South Africa and Rhodesia, based on Israel's subterfuge of those states? Ethnostate for me but not for thee?
Can we go back to pre-1930 America before rootless cosmopolites destroyed it?
Allah, Zeus, Yahweh or Thor, Paul?
For me, the bottom line is always the Truth.
The question must always be..... Is it True?
That is the only way to make the best choices for ourselves, as well as our society.
Religious belief systems introduce UNSUPPORTED CLAIMS and take us away from the path to Truth, robbing us of the ability to make the best decisions in our lives.
I never mentioned religion and am not referring to any. Jesus Christ is the Truth, and you not only don't know Him, you despise Him.
Present an argument against that point if you feel up to it.
https://unbekoming.substack.com/p/10-reasons-i-will-never-get-another
Set them on the road to the Truth and maybe they will repent and become better paediatricians.
Motes and beams, Dennis, motes and beams.
What is your problem, Sheila?
No matter the subject you became apoplectic about vaccinations!
You get all nasty and insulting to me about my paediatric doctor daughters who you don't even know and haven't ever met. You have no idea on their thoughts on vaccinations. Implying they are bad pediatricians injecting stuff into entirely helpless little children.
I'd appreciate it if you lay off this! It's not a good look my dear. You are coming off as a bit of a nut case.
"Vaccination is a cult and a psyop not a science". OK write your paper, have it peer reviewed and published, and go collect your Nobel Prize.
Until then STFU.
Don't you have something better to do my dear?

That's a lovely vision. I am appreciating the optimism!
Neil Young just can't help himself. 50 years later, he's still commenting on something he knows nothing about.
I know, but he has Alzheimers... Fifty years ago he was right on track.
Good luck Peter, I fear you are swimming against the tide without a decent leader.
For all his faults Donald Trump is doing much of what he promised to do.
I wish him Godspeed.
Neil Young proof rust never sleeps...like a 70s detroit car rustin from the bottom up
We can make our own maple syrup. Other than that, what does Canada have that we want or need?
My buddy from Georgia calls them "half-backers." They move to Florida, but its too hot and there are too many bugs, so they move halfway back and end up in North Carolina or Tennessee.
thick blood. "can't handle the heat? fine, skoot back up to your kitchen." we got 'tin' (Cajun: thin) blood down here, made for the musk, the damp
My Mom is from the Dolomites, Northern Ginzo she was. White as the snow of the Alps. I hate the heat down south. I love snow.

What do the maple syrup people want?
...war on Vermont?
Not a thing Canada could literally be swallowed into a massive sinkhole, and I doubt anyone would notice.
Absolutely.
Yes we were at Pearson as well when this happened. I just kept kept repeating to my wife over and over as they antagonized her "Don't react".
^with a HUGE ASS (or is it redundant when applied to a Puerto Rican bitch?)
No. She was quite petite, but was a raging A-Hole. She reminded me of a character from Idiocracy.
On that we are no different.
Under Biden I had to walk by hundreds of illegal aliens camped out at our airports and show ID all over but they walked them through with zero ID onto special flights.
But I understand the sentiment.
It's anarcho-tyranny.
Yeah, that insult? Intentional. It truly is a communist tactic.
And get VAT taxed while you’re there!
Omigod, watch out, here comes Phil.
We need to limit internal immigration. Every state needs to develop an immigration policy and a trade policy that applies to other states.
States already have discriminatory policies that vary based on the laws of other states.
As a Canadian I think we should ignore it. Hostility will solve nothing. Dialog and reciprocity would probably prevail.
Bravo. Great comment.
Making millions off of good old Americans while spouting anti isms against working class.
He's like the Michael Moore of Canada. They purport to represent the "people," but neither of them have any idea what real, middle class people are like. Interestingly, both of them look like fat (I'm being redundant) lesbians.
Perfectly ok. Laughing…he’s got less testosterone than Rosie.
And larger breasts.
Ew…my gawd.
I apologize for the image.
Truth is ugly sometimes…
As a Canadian of his generation I wholeheartedly agree.
And he’s not even American. He’s a washed up Canadian.
Or if people would stop paying to go see their shitty movies and concerts and stop making these filthy idiots so wealthy.
3) Country Joe Biden and the Fish,
4) Acosio-Cortes and the Kozmik Vote Blue No Matter Who Band,
5) Ten Years After featuring Bernie Sanders,
6) Blood Money, Sweatshops, and Vaccines,
7) The Politically and Ungrateful Dead
8) Ro Khana as Ravi Shankar
9) Refried Canned Messaging
10) Sly and the Family Soros
11) Climate Justice Clearwater Revival
12) The Diversity Blues Band
13) Johnny Nuclear Winter
Whose corpse, one wonders.
Never heard of the black eye club or corpse defilement if true that is disgusting and demonic.
I know about the casting couch escapades and have known some B grade actors and actresses who have said getting that in can be very difficult for a straight laced person.
We have known of the black eyes.
A desperate need for external validation directly proportional to their internal emptiness.
I hadn't thought about Ravi Shankar in years. Isn't it hilarious to look back at how all of those Boomer "legends" were desperately searching for enlightenment from every conceivable culture, but their own? They never thought to look back at their own ancestors who built the world. Brown people must know the real truth.
Here's a really fun read about the Boomer legends and their possible ties to military intelligence:
https://www.winterwatch.net/2024/04/laurel-canyon-military-intelligence-family-backgrounds-of-the-iconic-60s-counterculture-rock-stars/
That said, the message is so stale. It’s lost all of its cache. I don’t know what kids today cling to that has any ring of authenticity to it. JHK is right, they killed music, movies, comedy, it’s all rot. The only thing left is to mock the ruins.
Comedy died when Norm MacDonald died.
There is great music out there, you just have to seek it out.
God saw fit to "plaque" (Cajun: plah-kay, put) me in a place with off-the-charts culture. And it still has a heartbeat!
Nice!
And SHE IS A TRAITOR.
brilliant, shared
Cuz they gotta DO somethin'! The Trump Tyranny cannot go on!!
Well done!
Man that’s some good Gummies you got there!
That's what happens after 25 hours of listening to Corey Booker as Joe Cocker sing You Kraine So Beautiful To Me
“Retarded slob rock-and-roller” are words that fit (and that I longed to hear someone say someday about) this wretched POS, Neil Young.
Do you bet that Neil never had the jab? Given that Vaxx pardons were issued so the high and mighty could hobnob with each other and travel?
My guess is that they insisted they have A jab due to fear of death-- that seems to be epidemic in the older Boomer crowd. Was it a toxic one or saline? That's my question.
Trump is effectively ending WWII and its Marshall Plan including the parasitic Blob.
Bretton Woods mentality, and the globalist hierarchy that started with it. We still have a navy that patrols the world. And $36 trillion in debt.
Great post!
Kudos for using a Talking Heads reference.
Neil Young: while I enjoyed his music, not a fan of the individual behind it.
No one cares what Neil's opinions are...
Ditto
Well said! - One's age gives no indication of one's ethics and in any case, shouldn't used as yet another barrier to divide us.
Yesterday the wife went shopping at a local target.
I waited in the car as the store is a no go for me and the Tesla parked behind me was getting unwanted attention.
I climbed out with my cell phone and filmed two different groups masking up to vandalize the car.
They then noticed I had actually captured their faces and their intent was plain to me.
Being the cowards they are they left and as they drove off flipped me off.
So, I waved them a fond greeting which I believe angered them even more.
The second group just wandered off.
I stayed until the owner of the painted white cyber truck got in and drove off.
My good deed for the day.
The market share of Tesla's in San Diego is crazy with more every day.
Two years ago, they were barely noticeable.
The anti-tesla bowel movement at least in San Diego is failing bigly.
That was very kind of you. You can be my neighbor anytime.
"they left and as they drove off flipped me off"
xD
Her other recommendation is to use cash as much as possible. Stop feeding the credit beast and live under their radar as much as possible.
And try to be completely debt free, especially during these uncertain times, if at all possible.
Yes what ever happened to Dave Ramsey's advice?
Never ever sell in a sell-off. Sell-offs are for chicken littles. The wise become richer by hanging in there.
💯
CAF has been driven 'round the bend lately. Always sad to see. Scott Ritter is another one who lost his mind recently.
Please see my response to Blackbird below 😊
I disagree.
CAF explains the missing $21 trillion and the upcoming CBDC control grid.
https://tube.solari.com/videos/missing-21-trillion-corruption-breakaway-civilization-and-control-grid/
Do you think she's 'round the bend when stressing states' rights instead of centralized everything?
But I hope you are right.
He's intelligent but he's also the manic fat guy type who often believes what he wants to believe. Like, "Hezbollah can take Northern Israel anytime it wants." Or his complete confidence that the Assad was going to crush the Sunni insurgents days before Syria collapsed and he fled.
Conspiracy theories: God and Satan exist.
Hide under cover of propagandistic
Neuro-Lingustic Programming phrases all you want, dude. I'm simply using commonly
understood language to
reference the very real forces with which humans must grapple. Good & evil are both very real; if you are unaware of that FACT, you are beyond anyone's help.
Silver is down four bucks from the last week. . Buy the dip. Over the weekend was the dip. It’s already come back a1/2.
Oh no, Lisa. Spending bucks right now means that your principal declines to surge back up with the market recovery, which will happen.
Like business, the time to self invest is at market peaks, not dips.
Learn when to cool your jets...
I think Kunstler has explained it well.
I hope you know how to hunt and fish.
Not enough animals to hunt or fish out there.
Denver used to have wonderful fishing in the mountains around it when I was younger. It was destroyed by over-fishing pressure.
I'm in Northern British Columbia. In spite of government incompetence they haven't destroyed it yet.
I've really got to start proof reading my comments. Hunt.
It's very odd I spot many typos and issues only after having clicked reply.
This app desperately needs an edit function for comment sections!
Click on the three dots on the top right of your comment, Magdalene.
What's with the anger? Settle down for chrissake!
Apologies, I wasn't snapping at you personally, just fed up with YEARS of this issue never being fixed by Substack!
It's tiresome. Last straws & all that.
Thanks Dennis. For an old guy like me who doesn't really like the cyber world this was a great help even it it does make me feel a bit sheepish.
Cheers!
Deval
You are an "American", Cankerpuss.
Are you "too stupid and impatient to let things play out?"
Self-excluded eh?
I hope you are right.
Given his upbringing, Trump has a very good understanding of chaos.
When it comes to negotiations he really understands what being unpredictable means.
Yes, thank you! Smoot Hawley was deflationary. Also, inflation & deflation are only meaningful in context, as either one can be a necessary correction or a very bad scenario, depending on the circumstances.
