As ice comes off the North, both seaways will open more and more of the year. Greenland guards the East and Alaska guards the West. As I said, I believe the world is about to divide into three major zones, BRICS+ splitting between Russia and China and the USA, soon to be North America. Europe will go with Russia for its resources. They will be contesting influence in the rest of the world, especially the Middle East. It should be interesting, no matter what happens.
One more comment, IMHO, Trump is looking 20 years out in his actions now.
