You just have to look at the Youtube videos of hapless Ruskies (and now North Koreans) being chewed up by cheap remotely-operated drones to realize what an overrated military they turned out to have(how they persuade anyone to climb into a T-72 tank is beyond me) -and more than one generation behind when it comes to electronics, too- yes, they have succeeded in wiping out half of Ukraine's infrastructure, but that is about it, and their hold on Crimea (even as their navy heads for safer waters as fast as possible) remains tenuous.(Oh, yeah and they were kicked out of their Syrian warm-water port too.) But this is not to encourage NATO to try, as someone else said a long time ago,"to kick in the rotten door and the barn collapses too"- I hope for once the world's people will actually rise and demand cuts in wasteful military spending.
That's why the Ukrainian soldiers are complaining that Russia is now well ahead of them in drone technology, and Russia's been taking city after city by pure luck.....And if the Crimea is threatened, neither army has noticed, and there are no Ukrainian soldiers even near the border...Ahh, the delusions of the brainwashed...

You do know a hypersonic missile is nothing more than a ballistic missile but much smaller.
And much faster. The new Russian ones can carry nuclear warheads and can hit our missiles in North Dakota in about a half hour.
