As I said, it was decided that electric cars were going to be the future. In order to make that happen, they had to kill the market for German turbo diesels. They were cheap, reliable, got fantastic mileage, were built by Germans, and were selling like hot cakes.

Every diesel I have ever seen has been stinky cars, trucks, tractors, boats, generators and yes even those German made def diesels it's fact of life.
