04/06/25: A cube with a tumor! We have finally discovered what had inspired the writer of The Simpson's episode where Homer becomes Mr. Burns's assistant: "You have 30 minutes to move your cube!"

I watched that episode when it came out, and I couldn't stop laughing for a long time at that joke. For me, it ranks up there with "More cowbell"!

Good God! That is one ugly building. I still do not understand why these repulsive and vomit-inducing designs get built. The fall of beauty is has been difficult to endure. the only explanation that I can come up with is that our society is run by imbeciles and freaks.

It's deliberate insult. A form of aggression actually. To mock contemporary European Designs (f the turn of the century) USA, which highlighted beautify, vision, skill, and craftsmanship. Everything being done is a subtle form of mockery.

Silly rabbit, dontcha know that the increased cancer rate is due to climate change? Just ask your friendly neighborhood Prog. They have all the answers.

You know…those that eagerly lined up for those technologically revolutionary jabs.

Yup.

Those in the “Hands Off” crew.

Same ones.

shibumi's avatar

I know someone who manages clinical trials for Pfi$er. She believes that the ends justify the means, and if lots of people died because of the vaxx, millions upon millions more were saved, because CV19 is fatal. They are "saving the world."

Yeah, we can't talk about her job and remain friends.

Kinda like…we need to dismantle democracy to save democracy?

We need to napalm the village to save the village?

I know that combined with your anecdote it’s only three data points, but I’m detecting a theme here.

Evil Themes at that ... And just as was done in the Viet Nam war - spray about 90million gallons of Agent Orange defoliant on the jungle so the 'enemy' can't hide under the stripped twigs and branches of folliage. WTF. We know how that worked out. And I got to watch the whole shittery, napalm and all, off the coast of Nam onboard ship.

I worked in pathology as a secretary at the time, and I can tell you about the high rate of non-Hodgkin lymphoma that occurred in the Vietnam vet population, among other things

At least her position is somewhat plausible (somewhat)

Illegal, immoral and a 'cover your butt’ posit , but a teensy bit worthy of rebuttal.

That said, the ‘saving the world’ part has that immutable Greta Thunberg odor of righteousness about it.

shibumi's avatar

She has a purebred dog. The other day, she admitted that her dog has every vaxx possible, even vaxxes that her regular vet doesn't give. The first thing I thought was "your dog is going to die early."

And yeah, the Greta thing. She's definitely got that happening as well.

For the record, she got hired by Pfi$er at the beginning of the "pandemic" and got her shots at the drug store.

Haaa...I think with friends, we must take the polite ‘oh really?’ approach, sound like apathetic numbskulls, gently nod and accommodate (while thinking how incredibly stupid they are), IF we want to remain friends.

Then talk about Aunt Josephines lasagna or the trendiest new Asian fusion joint. 😃

I seriously doubt it. Even uttering those words could get them fired! My mechanic came down with cancer 2 yrs after the jab. Tried all the conventional methods, but now that all of it failed (and ruined his body), he's taking ivermectin and fenbendazole. I and many others pray for him - greatest mechanic I've ever used! - because miracles do happen.
