At a minimum, new workers should have their Normal Retirement Age, the age at which benefits start, begin closer to their life expectancy as it was originally designed. This would mean an 18 year old would begin receiving SS benefits closer to age 80, rather than the current age of 67. And then indexed for presumed increased life expectancy.
The system is broken and needs to be fixed. Increased taxes is always an option but that expands our welfare state which presents different problems.
So what are you advocating? Mandatory death at 70?

And what's the average date of death there, ezzy? Just turn the whole thing into a government confiscation scam.
They're all heart, aren't they?
