Biden’s style — specifically how he communicates with the American people — is also a page from the FDR playbook. Two months into his presidency, he has been surprisingly disciplined and economical with his words and appearances. The verbal gaffes that dogged him throughout his long career in Washington are nowhere to be seen.”
— Paul Brandus, Opinion columnist, USA Today

I don’t know about you, but I was thrilled to hear Joe Biden tell America — with a faraway gleam in those ol’ blue Konstantin Chernenko eyes — that he’s expecting to run for a second term. The prospect must engross him, so effervescent was his campaign of 2020! Like all presidents, he’s learning on-the-job, but he’s already lapping Franklin Roosevelt in the hundred-day dash of executive action, showing those wicked CCP envoys who’s boss (why, they are, of course), and turning the depraved white supremacist state of Texas into a vibrant Honduras del Norte. As Mr. Biden would say, anyway… I’ve gone on too long about that….

Meanwhile, from offstage you could hear the crunch of his handlers chewing their Xanax, knowing that the game was a brain-fart away from disaster. Well, he only wandered away from the podium one time, and he dutifully followed the script. In fact, the script was right there in his hand the entire white-knuckle hour of this debut press conference, and he often appeared to be reading straight off the page. I’m sure he was making a funny when he said he came to the Senate 120 years ago. (Remember the battle over Wm. H Taft’s nomination to be Territorial Governor of the Philippines?  And how, in the hearings, then-freshman Senator Ol’ Joe B produced three New Haven doxies who testified about Taft’s “abnormal appetites” during the nominee’s years at Yale?)

Traditionally, presidential press conferences are opportunities to inform the nation where things stand, and to send signals to the other nations (“friend and foe alike” as JFK used to say) about America’s intentions, especially in the nuclear age, with the world so nervously on edge. What did Americans learn from Mr. Biden’s debut? Mainly that an old dog can do some old tricks, follow a script, play the politician, fill a suit, run his mouth, and go through the motions — fulfilling people’s cynical expectation that some trip is being laid on them. Foreign observers will probably note that the executive branch is being run by a politburo more secretive even than the old gang who ran the USSR. No one in this country seems to notice.

Mr. Biden’s real job is as a walking MaxWriter© signature machine, ready to sit down and serve whenever Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer send another 1000-plus-page bundle of legislation to the White House, designed to ratchet up the government’s despotic power over everyday life in order to “solve the problems” of free enterprise, free elections, and free speech with free money and hyper-complexity.

Coming up soon, for instance: HR1, the “For the People [ha!] Act,” designed to maximally enable election fraud by enrolling as many live bodies as possible to vote with no chance of verifying their identities, age, place of residence, or citizenship. The act would certainly introduce many new layers of chaos and delay in ascertaining election results. It would also take away the states’ constitutional duty to fashion their own election requirements and, in the process, further erode the legitimacy of the federal government and give many states more reason to oppose and nullify it, or even secede from it — meaning, another step toward that looming civil war 2.0.

One strange exchange in the press conference especially stood out [from the official White House transcript]:

Q: [Janet Rodriguez, Univision] Thank you, Mr. President. We, too, have been reporting at the border. And just like Cecilia, we ran into a pair of siblings who came in on Monday, who were detained by CBP — had the phone number for their mother who lives in the U.S.  We have contacted the mother. That’s the only way they know her kids are here because CBP, today, Thursday, has not contacted that mother. So, when can we expect your promise of things getting better with contacting and expediency and processing?

THE PRESIDENT: Well, they’re already getting better, but they’re going to get real — they’ll get a whole hell of lot better real quick, or we’re going to hear of some people leaving, okay?

Did you catch that? The siblings’ mother lives in the USA? How did she get here and when? Is she here legally? Why were these children living in another country, away from their mother, and for how long? Why did the mother abandon her children in the country she left? Did anybody notice that this story doesn’t add up?

Nothing seems to add up when Joe starts running off at the mouth and yet some still believe the man is not suffering an affliction of the mind.

To be honest I believe most DEMOCRATS politicians and supporters suffer an extreme affliction of common sense amnesia.

Or it could be that they just can’t stand white racists. I did a quick tally of the numbers here and it’s looking to me like the other side might have a good point.

The nation has gone from “Russia! Russia! Russia!” to “Racist! Racist! Racist!” without missing a beat.

The spy dossier of Trump peeing on a prostitute was 100% Russian.

Nope. It was 100% Russian in origin, and the Killary’s propaganda team run with it knowing it was 100% Russian.

Who cares what occurs between two consenting adults? However, Biden’s taste for immature chicken is well known. He began his relationship with his present wife while she was his teenaged babysitter, for heaven sake. Nobody has accused Trump of backing her up against a wall and inserting his fingers into her unwilling vagina. That’s rape, by the way.

          • Goldy89 March 26, 2021 at 2:13 pm #

Uh yeah – Jean Carroll. Has the dress. With the DNA. One of the lawsuits Trump is fighting to submit a DNA sample. Exec privilege ended two months ago.

DNA on the sleeve of her dress? What appallingly bad aim. That’s not where the fluid in question is intended to go, unless we’re talking about a hand job, which sounds consensual to me unless she’s implying Trump doesn’t know where to put it? And in the dressing room of a department store! You can’t get much more public than that.

It’s an op. I suspect that our betters who really run things have known for some time that they’re going to have to implement some very bad and unpopular things soon to maintain their status and the white supremacist narrative has been crafted so they’ll have a boogeyman to blame for any pushback or unrest that will inevitably result. The USA is the most culturally diverse nation on Earth. The whole notion of systemic racism and widespread white supremacy is a myth.

          • akmofo March 26, 2021 at 11:07 am #

It’s definitely not a myth on this blog site.

Neither is it a myth that, with very few exception, the US is sharply divided into white manicured ghettos (suburbs) and thoroughly decrepit black ghettos (abandoned old city ruins).

          • JohnAZ March 26, 2021 at 11:53 am #

The USA is the most culturally diverse nation on earth.

This is a really bad thing. Without a common culture, there is no nation. Ask yourself, why should the United States exist? It was a beacon of hope for the world after WW2, caring about the rest of the world through economical recovery plans in Europe and Asia.

The elite in other nations grew with US help through the end of the 20 th century. Like here, they generated their load of human waste, discarded, old, unskilled and destitute. After a while, these folks overwhelmed the capabilities of their countries to employ them productively. You can name them, Cuba, China, Viet Nam, the rest of SE Asia, India, Latin America, Venezuela, Russia, the Middle East. In turn each of these areas collapsed and needed to offload these destitute, useless people.

Now, who would be stupid enough to volunteer to take in all these excess people that have little to offer. Duh!

That is what the USA, and some countries in Europe have become. Cesspools of humanity, dumping grounds for other nations who become stronger by ridding themselves of these folks and they know it weakens us by taking on way too much of the world’s poverty class. No wonder we are almost 30 trillion in debt, we have been suckered into babysitting the hordes of economically worthless people from all over the world.

“Give me your tired, Your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free”. Was apropos for the 19 th century when the US was the economic power house of the world. Today with us circling the drain, economically, it is a fricking disaster. The world that matters is about to destroy the US and then Russia with the new leader to be China.

We did it to ourselves. The number one enemy to the future of the US is the Deep State. Get used to that, it is already too late. In a democracy, the majority rules, our majority is now from outside the country.

CW2? It may be the only thing that saves the remnants of patriotic Americans.

          • akmofo March 26, 2021 at 12:11 pm #

John, there is your mistake right there, in the first line. It’s not a nation and never was a nation. It is an EMPIRE and always was an EMPIRE from day one. The very name says it all.

          • Yohannon March 26, 2021 at 12:29 pm #

The Statue of Liberty and that poem are part of a Masonic plot to undermine the United States as a free Western nation.

The Left knows their history better than “conservative” revisionists. Whites founded America for guess who? The Chinese? The Blacks? The Indians (lol)? No, for themselves. By us for us. You know, just like everyone else. Did the Chinese create China for some other people than themselves?

They’re never going to forgive us for being normal. And because we adopted their universalism, they’re going to make us to live up to our death wish. They are going to beat us to death with it.

        • benr March 26, 2021 at 11:02 am #

They never stopped the racist white person drum beat and thus expose that racism is not the problem but stupidity sure is.

          • B_NOLA March 26, 2021 at 11:09 am #

50+ years since the Civil Rights movement, even longer for the feminism movement and the black community is doing worse by every available measure and women are nowhere near their representative population as far as leadership and career positions go. The systemic-racism/misogyny explanation is just a lazy effort to ignore the other possible explanations. It’s also a lot easier for very dumb people to understand and repeat.

          • Yohannon March 26, 2021 at 12:26 pm #

Many of them like to take time off and have kids. So they don’t advance as quickly or as much. It’s called human life. Careerism for all is simply desperate and degenerate.

          • draupnir March 26, 2021 at 12:50 pm #

This is going to cause shrieks of outrage, but for the most part, women simply don’t have the right stuff to compete in a system designed by men for men. Our very brains are wired differently and our physical prowess is paltry in comparison, and if you’ve ever had a man chase you down and use his strength against you, you would know that. Not all of the affirmative action in the world can change physiology, and a leg up from the government is the only thing that permitted women to make whatever advances they have made. We’d have never made it this far on our own. It’s not that there aren’t high achievers among us. There always have been, but they are the exception, not the rule.

Look what fifty years of requiring black women to raise their families without a man is residence has gotten us. I might point out that the supremacy of your own race is always paramount. The Chinese despise Caucasians and consider us quite inferior.

          • hmuller March 26, 2021 at 2:02 pm #

            Draupnir,

The man-woman workplace wage disparity isn’t about who can beat up whom in my opinion “if you’ve ever had a man chase you down and use his strength against you, you would know that.” Sounds like you come from a very rough work environment.

It’s due to a higher percentage of women in “nurturing jobs” (teacher.nurse, librarian) and a higher percentage of men in science, engineering, finance.

Feminists demand equal pay for equal education levels, not equal work. They refuse to recognize that the marketplace rewards some fields more than others. This reality has always been known. If you want to be a librarian, you can’t expect the pay of a chemical engineer.

It reminds me of AOC demanding that the USA professional women soccer players get paid as much as the men. The fact that the revenue their games generate is less than one tenth of the men’s team, is not relevant to a true wokester.

Let’s talk about the real welfare recipients.

            They go to public schools.
Take a job in the US military
Get a “scholarship’ from a GI bill
            to a landgrant college
get a job as a civil servant.

Nice summary AK, however some numbers would have been nice. I went in search of numbers and here is what I found:

            1. Afghanistan: $5.7 billion
            2. Iraq: $3.7 billion
            3. Israel: $3.2 billion
            4. Jordan: $1.5 billion
            5. Egypt: $1.5 billion

2017 numbers. Source: stacker.com, Biggest recipients of US foreign aid. January 14, 2019.

But that’s just one source, let’s try another:

            1: Afghanistan: $5.94 billion
            2: Israel: $3.11 billion
            3: Jordan: $1.67 billion
            4: Egypt: $1.23 billion
            5: Iraq: $1.18 billion

          • akmofo March 26, 2021 at 3:31 pm #

Iran, in just one year, received $150 billion. That’s more than Israel received in its whole existence.

Germany, the richest country in NATO and spends nothing on defense. Britain wont spend the money to update a 40 year old tank. Canada doesn’t even have an Army. Japan the same. They don’t have to, they all have an $800 billion/yr US defense budget to protect them. So spare me the racist Vatican propaganda.

            AK,

            More numbers for your entertainment:

Total US Aid to Israel, 1949 – 2020: $147.12 billion
            Other Military Assistance, 1990 – 2020: $7.59 billion
(Source: jewishvirtuallibrary.org. U.S. Foreign Aid to Israel: Total Aid (1949 – Present))
A bit more than $150 billion by my count.

And that $150 billion of Iranian assets held by the US since 1979? Only about $30 billion is being released (Pearce, Matt. 2016. “Where are Iran’s billions in frozen assets, and how soon will it get them back?” Los Angelos Times, Jan. 20, 2016). And it’s not all going to the government of Iran, but also to individuals and organizations (Clawson, Patrick. 2015. “Iran’s ‘Frozen’ Assets” Exaggeration of Both Sides of the Debate” The Washington Institute for Near East Policy, Sep. 1, 2015).

Germany reported a record high in NATO defense spending for 2021, submitting a budget of €53 billion ($63.8 billion) for the current year. That figure marks a 3.2% increase over the year before. In 2020, spending was capped at an estimated €51.4 billion.

            canada eh….23.4 billion

            https://www.canada.ca/en/department-national-defence/corporate/reports-publications/transition-materials/defence-101/2020/03/defence-101/defence-budget.html

The Canadian Army (French: Armée canadienne) is the command responsible for the operational readiness of the conventional ground forces of the Canadian Armed Forces. As of 2020, the Canadian Army has 23,000 regular soldiers, 19,000 reserve soldiers (including 5,300 members of the Canadian Rangers), for a total of 42,000 soldiers.

Them brits…Government spending on defense in the UK 1996-2020. In 2019/20, the United Kingdom spent approximately 42.2 billion British pounds on defense, an increase of two billion pounds when on the previous year.

Why would Britain upgrade a tank do you think they don’t know what happened to the israeli tanks the last time your country trotted them out? A bunch of people got roasted alive in them to the new missile tech punching holes in them.

As far as Japan goes they were not allowed to have a military per se as an agreement for the WWII cease fire or did you not know that?

Article 9 of the Japanese Constitution
            (1) Aspiring sincerely to an international peace based on justice and order, the Japanese people forever renounce war as a sovereign right of the nation and the threat or use of force as means of settling international disputes.
            (2) In order to accomplish the aim of the preceding paragraph, land, sea, and air forces, as well as another war potential, will never be maintained. The right of belligerency of the state will not be recognized.

How ever Japan can field a “defense force or another name for an Army and they have a Navy I can attest to the first hand having played war games with them When I served.

So in essence almost all of your post was either a lie, or you are very ignorant.

Interesting story about a Japanese cargo ship stuck in the Suez. Already within one day oil prices jumped by 5%, and this is with a COVID depressed demand. Imagine the Suez gets closed for weeks and months because of war. The supply chain damages to the world economy could be trillions.

Nevermind, I did the math for you

In other words, Britain expends less than a 1/10th of what US the expend on their military budget. And a little more than a 1/10th of what Israel expends on their military budget. The same for all of Europe Canada and Japan. That’s a pretty sweet deal. But for some reason I don’t hear any white Vatican racists whine about that. How come?

          • Sean Coleman March 27, 2021 at 7:35 pm #

True for you. We had a Canadian lesbian former witch (I assume it was former) as a Minister for Children here in Ireland until last year. She was replaced by a Green Party homosexual who is associated with Peter Tatchell, who is widely regarded as an apologist for homosexual sex under the present legal age.

Akmofo originally labelled me a Satanist and an Anti-Semite on the last thread, then (after I told him that I had stood up for both Epstein and Weinstein – because of the almost complete absence of reliable evidence, and I would nearly drop the ‘almost’ there) he dropped the Anti-Semitism and I was merely a racist. But he applied it again after I summarized some of the compelling arguments that the Jews are running the show. I also asked him about Israel’s immigration policy (it is one of the strictest in the world while they do everything in their power (and they wield the power) to make sure everyone else sumbits to their demand s for mass-immigration.

Looking at his comment again it resembles an autistic sonnet with a primitive rhyming scheme (Anti-Semite and racist).

Your definition of “racist” is entirely incorrect. A racist is a person that pre-judges a person of difference, and then reacts according to his prejudice. Everyone advocates his own condition…it is human ego. Everyone pre-judges. Not everyone treats people with prejudice, however.

      • Uncle Bob March 26, 2021 at 7:05 pm #

She lied, and is now trying to save her law license by admitting it. You conveniently forget that she got the boot from the Trump legal team, but continued her so-called independent investigation for whatever reason (probably money and publicity). In that, she’s no different than the Perkins-Coie law firm, or Sen. Charles Schmendrick (D-Brooklyn), who continually lie and are rewarded for their efforts. But that’s different — they’re Democrats, and therefore excused from all criticism.

        • Tekapo March 27, 2021 at 3:13 am #

But that’s different — they’re Democrats, and therefore excused from all criticism.

It is extremely different … those Democrat lawyers did not spend weeks & weeks geeing up the base with wild stories, and nor are they being sued for $5.7 billion.’

To claim now that everything she said was so patently false and literally unbelievable that no-one could possibly believe it … just might get her off the hook (the law can be weird).

But it leaves Fox, Newsmax, Breitbart, etc, in a very vulnerable position – they reproduced and trumpeted all those crazy lies … Dominion and Smartmatic will come after them.

It also leaves a lot of Trump supporters severely disappointed.

          • Tekapo March 27, 2021 at 5:39 pm #

            And a related story:

A Trump-supporting Minnesota lawyer was sanctioned for fraud after she duped people into signing affidavits in bogus election challenge lawsuits.

            According to the Pioneer Press:

A Minnesota attorney who filed legal challenges to the November election of five congressional Democrats was given a $10,000 sanction Friday after a judge found she “bamboozled” voters into signing on as plaintiffs without their knowledge or permission.

“Susan Shogren Smith … perpetrated a fraud against this court and, more importantly, perpetrated a fraud against these plaintiffs,” Ramsey County Chief District Judge Leonardo Castro said from the bench.

Smith conned voters into signing affidavits and becoming plaintiffs in election challenge cases without telling them what they were signing or the consequences of their actions. Trump and his lawyers were waving around affidavits after the election, but given what happened in Minnesota, it is fair to question how many of those sworn accounts were legitimate.

The questions at the end about the mother are simply too rational and logical for our post-modern world to understand. There are many possible reasons for why she is here without her children and maybe one of them is to prepare the way for her children to later join her. Or maybe she was sending money home for them. But, maybe, she was greedy and didn’t care very much about her children in the first place. Humans are mostly driven by fear and greed and, so, I opt for the last explanation.

    • Beryl of Oyl March 26, 2021 at 10:16 am #

The last time we had a major “crisis” at the border, during the Obama administration, one of the networks mentioned that most of the children were being picked up by relatives already here.

The normal procedure for legal immigrants is to send for your children once you are settled, and to do the paperwork required, and PAY the fees.

So why would anyone bother to use a system that costs them money, when you can just throw your kids in with a bunch of criminals and human traffickers, and save a bundle by avoiding all our laws?

The system isn’t broken, they just don’t want to use it.

Folks ought to take a ride in Sussex County, Southern Delaware a few miles west of Delaware State highway 1 and the Atlantic beaches and take note of how for the past ten years, the illegal aliens are being hired on the farms and in the chickening processing plants and displacing the poor white folks who have been depending on these jobs for years. More and more signs in Spanish cropping up in the stores. Meanwhile the trailer parks where the poor white folks live look more and more shanty. And in sharp contrast, multi-million dollar homes go up near the beach for the Washington elite and the newer steady trickle of New York money coming south. It’s a filthy stew of the new America. And this all takes place just a few miles from Joe & Jill’s summer house in Rehoboth Beach.

I have some friends whose neighbors owned a vicious dog. One day the senile elderly dad at the neighbors let the dog out without putting him on his chain, and the dog came in my friends yard and mauled their dog really bad.

This border situation keeps making me think of that. There’s a senile old man in the White House, and he’s done some horrible damage because he doesn’t know what he’s doing.

The difference is, the neighbors should have taken steps to make sure the dad couldn’t let the dog run free, while someone put the president up to this, and they are now sending the VP in to save the day, after the damage is irreversible.

Thanks for this. I have been planning to order Ivermectin, but hadn’t so far. This company appears to have a good price.

Right now, corona is dying out where I live; we have gotten to herd immunity just like what happens with every other corona-influenza virus. Local health department says it’s the vaccine, but with only 14% of the population having both shots, think not. Besides, out of the other side of their mouths, health authorities say it takes six weeks after the second shot to develop “immunity”. So…which is it?

I am very worried about what will happen to the vaccinated during next year’s cold and flu season.

          • tully March 27, 2021 at 7:39 am #

@Night Owl, I have read and seen many who worked with Fauci say this is the same as the AIDS epidemic but on a grander scale. And this is how that epidemic was created, by the ‘cure’ which is what made people sick and ruined their immune systems.

            Insidious evil, almost incomprehensible.

After a year of reading and research, and not knowing even one person who got sick or died from this so-called black plague, but seeing a death spike now? No other explanation.

          • MaryV March 27, 2021 at 10:57 pm #

@Tully, elderberry syrup is most excellent! I also take that.

      • Anthea March 26, 2021 at 2:41 pm #

The concern is that people who have been vaccinated will become “gain of function” factories, shedding mutated covid strains that are far more virulent than the original strain.

This has historically occurred in veterinary practice, due to ill-considered vaccinations: Marek’s Disease in poultry. Here is one article on that. (The Marek’s Disease part is at the end.)

        https://www.unz.com/mwhitney/operation-vaxx-all-deplorables-codename-satans-poker/

There are several people warning about this. Whether vaccinations result in a truly deadly pandemic is kind of a roll of the dice. But it is quite possible.

Her best friend, on the other hand, didn’t get vaxxed in time and died of Covid last month.

    • MrMangoOnMyShoulder March 26, 2021 at 1:19 pm #

A general theory is that if this was an intentional release of a disease, this first round (covid-19) was meant to be strong enough to scare people and change laws/financial norms/everyday life…but mild enough that many would not be concerned.

Round two would then roll out and kick all the “naysayers” in the ass by actually killing serious amounts of people and making it truly scary again.

Do that enough times and pretty much everyone will be on board for whatever their “leaders” tell them to do.

So whether or not he knows something we don’t, the idea is preparation, either way.

The problem with the ‘intentionalist’ theory about the virus is that the virus is wholly imaginary to all intents and purposes. while the PCR test may be measuring a particular virus (which has not been isolated and it is fair to say never will now) or indeed an indefinite range of corona viruses or is just churning out positives and negatives in response to the political expectations ‘du jour;, it has not actually resulted in any discernible rise in overall mortality (the only meaningful gauge in the light of the mass re-labelling of other diseases as ‘Covid19’.

In other words, if they did release a virus now does anyone know what it is, where it is, or what it is doing ‘out there’ if it is not making anyone sick, let alone killing them.

(The word ‘intentionalist’ I borrowed from the Holocaust non-debate (being by now actually or merely virtually illegal everywhere) which holds that the Nazis planned it. Robert Faurisson summed it up in a nice quote (which I have learnt by heart) when the author of the then-standard textbook on the subject The Destruction Of Europe’s Jews, admitted (around the late 80s from memory), Raul Hilberg admitted that there was no plan. “Thus came about not som much a plan being carried out but an incredible meeting of minds, a consensus-mind reading by a far-flung bureaucracy”. So it was all down to telepathy.)

I don’t buy the variant hoopla btw, at least any more than with any other year’s flu.

Whatever they’ve got locked up in the labs has eben ready to rock for quite some time. Those will be the “variants”. And they will all act differently for different people…much like the now-three-digit list of covid-19 symptoms. Meant to confuse and conflate.

      • thirdcoastlegend March 26, 2021 at 1:47 pm #

I’m not sure I totally agree.

The pols are scrambling around because they thought Beer Flu was going to be the big one and they have nothing else to release.

My favorite parts of President Potatoheads Presser or (PPP) was when he said he is going to install street lights in Central America. Wouldn’t want the caravan travellers tripping on the dirt roads. Also he mentioned he is going to raise all the street elevations in the USA by 3 feet. Illegals with shovels will knock that job off in about 20-30 years. I want to see the gravel pit where all that fill comes from. We can probably fill the hole with worn out wind turbines and solar panels.

    • SW March 26, 2021 at 10:58 am #

No no no — you’re confused! The streetlights were to Stop Crime and they worked like a charm. So now all the people from those towns with nice street lights no longer want to illegally enter America since their problems were solved.

I guess we have to raise the roads 3 feet b/c — ????

    • Tate March 26, 2021 at 1:22 pm #

Well, they did raise the street level of Chicago by six feet (?) back in the day. Back at the height of European civilization (late 19th century). The buildings were actually hydraulically jacked to that level. Remarkable! We’ll never see anything like that again.

For some time now, I have been rather dismayed by the number of intelligent, rational people who are well aware of the ongoing scam related to COVID testing, relative to the numbers of otherwise intelligent people who should be aware of this, but somehow are not.

It’s really heartening to me to see that there is a committee getting ready to launch an international class-action lawsuit against the fraudsters.

I wonder whether mainstream America will be allowed to hear about this?

I don’t understand all this standing in queues stuff. I’ve been voting for 50 years and I’ve never stood in a queue.

benr – council employees here are paid to do it, although it’s voluntary. I did it once when I was young, while I had a temporary job in the council offices. They paid me my normal day’s pay, as if I’d been at work, plus £25 (it was a while ago) for 6am till 10pm. It was the election that gave us Maggie Thatcher, if I recall. I don’t think they were short of volunteers, as it got people out of the office for a day, although was 16 hours! The voting hours aren’t as long for local elections, so that would be more bearable maybe.

            GA & O.G.

I suspect in your constituencies, there are PLENTY of polling places. I recall being in England in 1987. The people we were staying with went off to vote, and we went for the walk. The nearest place was 200 yards down the road (this was in semi-rural Surrey), and there were two more on the other side of the railway line before we got to the shopping center, where there was yet another.

From what I’ve been reading about these new voting regulations (viz. Georgia), there will be FEWER places than ever in the ‘Democrat’ (read black) areas, along with the 5 pm closing? WTF? Most working people don’t get off till 5 pm or later, and postal or early voting is also being clamped down on. It really couldn’t be any plainer than this is active voter suppression.

I think most of us who were following the issue, had no belief in the ‘wet market’ origin theory of the Wuhan flu, once we learned of the presence of the laboratory.

As far as the idea that it leaked from the lab, once you’ve established that it most likely came from there, it does not necessarily follow that it “leaked”.

Without knowing how it got out, you don’t know whether it leaked (accidentally)or was leaked (deliberately).

My personal belief is that the Chinese leadership was getting fed up with President Trump, and they figured now would be as good a time as any to try this new tactic against him.

    It worked.

YUGE: Former CDC Director Robert Redfield tells
    @drsanjaygupta
he believes COVID-19 resulted from gain-of-function research at a Wuhan lab that leaked by accident and that the outbreak occurred in Sept/Oct 2019.

they are too l ate for the festivities, but just in time for the consequences.
They’re coming to a society and an economy that’s about to collapse, which while occurring before is being accelerated because of the national suicide of 50 million Zhou Xi Den voters and fraudulent votes that occurred in November,
I almost feel bad for them, almost but not quite

      When things undoubtedly collapse.
There will be too many poor.
      Rubbing shoulders with poor.

But most importantly with the buffer.
      The eroded middle class.
Crime will increase. Services will decrease.
      More job loss.
      More violence.

The state will be compelled to restore order.

Her iconic picture is on horseback and carrying an American flag. After vetoing a bill that would keep male trannies out of girl’s sports, the flag should be changed to the rainbow flag. Or the Tranny flag.

Definitely different. Obviously technology and civilization was inevitible to build cities and infrastructure anywhere there’s a buck to be made. Keeping North America as a giant Tribal Refuge/Museum was not on the table as England, France, Spain, etc. built the fir trade and tobacco plantations.

How many people did the Aztecs sacrifice?

It is possible that around 20,000 people were sacrificed a year in the Aztec Empire. Special occasions demanded more blood – when a new temple to Huitzilopochtli was dedicated in 1487, an estimated 80,400 people were sacrificed.

The main reason Mexico fell so quickly to the Spaniards was the fact that they were aided by tribes held in slavery by the Aztecs and used as sacrificial victims.

Yes I like the idea of a split too. It must include the Deep South as it is my home and I love everything (almost) about it. Even the hot humid weather. Hotter the better baby. Now I set myself up for global warming cracks. Yes, the cities are collapsing and rightly so, but where the hell will they go. If urban migrants come to my locale it won’t end well. Total chaos may be on everyones dinner plate. I have friends and relatives scattered around the country and I see no way to any form of secession without hell to pay. Yes, I do believe the USA was the beacon. We came out of the war basically unscathed with the most powerful manufacturing economy in history. Instead of going isolationist, the country created the Marshall plan and reconstructed both Japan and China. Our folks started the United Nations as a focus for the globalist attempts to avoid another World War.

This has grown into a globalist attempt to take over the world. I wonder what FDR, Truman and their fellows would think of their creation today.

    • Skip Mulligan March 26, 2021 at 12:43 pm #

You have no idea what you are talking about.

The Marshall Plan was put into place to create markets for America’s vastly expanded manufacturing base. That’s all. It was not some altruistic scheme.

      • JohnAZ March 26, 2021 at 12:49 pm #

No, the Marshall plan was put into place to reconstruct a continent that had been destroyed by the Allies during the war.

You are the one that has no idea what you are talking about. The US had the choice of punishing the Germans like the 1918 Versailles treaty or creating an ally by helping them. We took the latter.

Where does your hatred of everything American come from? It is striking.

        • Skip Mulligan March 26, 2021 at 12:55 pm #

Nope – we didn’t give two shits less about reconstructing Europe. We needed markets to sell our goods. Period.

          • benr March 26, 2021 at 1:41 pm #

Why can’t you both be right?
The US learned from Europe’s mistakes of saddling nations with debt for losing a war AND they wanted markets to sell goods and services to.

        • Night Owl March 26, 2021 at 6:21 pm #

Skip is low IQ, but let’s be honest, those reparations had benefits. The US also had no problems importing card carrying Nazis to boost brainpower in the military industrial complex.

In fact, much of the tech. the United States enjoys came from Germany. I would say there is a moral issue there.

The U.S. was founded by Masons. If you replace Liberal-Democracy for Capitalism, I agree with you. The rule of Masonry developed into the current system of Liberal-Democracy, a kind of soft Fascism. “Capitalism” was a term invented by Karl Marx to explain what he saw around him in industrializing England. If you insist on calling our current system Capitalism, then that’s a tail-wag-the-dog system. It required the development of the manipulative, Bernaysian system we have today, soft fascistic Liberal-Democracy for it to be a complete system of control, akin to Communism. The error in both systems is the vision of perfectibility in humanity.

    America the Beautiful
    BY JUDGE ROY MOORE

America the Beautiful, or so you used to be,
Land of the Pilgrims’ pride, I’m glad they’re not here to see,
Babies piled in dumpsters, abortion on demand,
Oh, sweet land of liberty, your house is on the sand.

Your children wander aimlessly poisoned by cocaine,
Choosing to indulge their lusts, when God has said abstain.
From sea to shining sea this Nation has turned away,
From the teaching of God’s Law, and a need to always pray.

So many worldly pastors telling lies about our Rock,
Saying God is going broke so they can fleece the flock.
We’ve kept God in our temples, how foolish we have grown,
When all the earth is but His footstool, and Heaven is His throne.

We’ve voted in governments that are rotting to the core,
Appointing Godless judges who throw reason out the door.
Too soft to put a killer in a well deserved tomb,
But brave enough to kill that child before he leaves the womb.

You think that God’s not angry, that our land’s a moral slum?
How much longer will it be before His judgment comes?
And how can we face our God, from Whom we cannot hide?
What is left for us to do, but stem this evil tide!

For if we who are His children, will humbly turn and pray,
If we seek His holy face, and mend our evil way,
Then God will hear from Heaven and forgive us of our sins.
He’ll heal our sickly land and those who live within.

But, America the beautiful, if you don’t then you will see,
A sad but Holy God withdraw His hand from Thee.

Yoho: Thank you Judge Moore. You would have made a fine President. They destroyed you because you once courted a teenage girl with a view towards marriage. A completely normal thing to do. Compare that with what they think is normal, as you describe so well above.

  36. My Point of View March 26, 2021 at 3:02 pm #

Biden is 78 years old, will be 81 during the 2024 campaign. IMO he’ll be too old and won’t run.

My speculation, if the 2022 mid terms increase the DEMs in the House and Senate, then he might resign in March 2023 and let Harris take the last 1 year / 10 months of Biden’s term, i.e., that time won’t count against allowing Harris to run and be elected twice as POTUS, meaning 9 years / 10 months of Harris as POTUS.

    Happy Friday to all.

    • O.G. Hawkins March 26, 2021 at 3:10 pm #

9 years & 10 months with Kamala Harris as POTUS. What could go wrong?

    • hmuller March 26, 2021 at 9:41 pm #

Hillary used to enjoy counting her chickens before they were hatched. But the future didn’t cooperate and obey her commands.

We’ll see what the future holds for Kamala. I just hope she gets all she deserves.

    • Ron Anselmo March 27, 2021 at 12:13 am #

No fucking way. The People will not stand for 9 years/10 months of a mattress-back Oakland street whore as President. No way. TS will HTF when they attempt to seat Ho’ Harris as President – anyone who thinks different (D or R) is fooling themselves.

      • Tekapo March 28, 2021 at 12:42 am #

The People will not stand for 9 years/10 months of a mattress-back Oakland street whore as President. No way.

The People don’t get a say on the first stage – Joe Biden can resign (or be forced out) and VP Kamala Harris automatically becomes President for a bit under two years. She can then appoint a VP.

As for the remaining eight years, the People do get a say … in Nov 2024 and Nov 2028. Nothing unusual there. And if she does a good job between now and Nov 2024, I would back her against Donald Trump – but I expect his chances of him running again are slim to none.

  37. Fools Rushin March 26, 2021 at 3:32 pm #

Not one mention about Sidney Powell making the whole shit show up. Coward.

    • messianicdruid March 26, 2021 at 3:40 pm #

“As the DC Circuit reaffirmed just last week, there is no claim for defamation when the alleged “defamatory” statement is a legal opinion. Ms. Powell’s statements fall precisely into this category. Ms. Powell reviewed sworn affidavits, declarations, expert testimony, and other highly corroborated evidence concerning the election which Ms. Powell filed with the courts and shared publicly. She continues to stand by those opinions today. Our motion, in part, argues that the Dominion case should be dismissed because legal opinions are not grounds for defamation.”

      • Fools Rushin March 26, 2021 at 4:30 pm #

It’s not her opinions that are defamatory idiot, it’s her claims that Dominion created its software in Venezuela to rig elections for the deceased Chavez and that Dominion bribed Georgia officials for no bid contracts. All lies with no essence of truth to back them. This is an actionable complaint by Dominion. Sydney Powell won’t be practicing law in 2022.

        • Night Owl March 26, 2021 at 6:24 pm #

Actually she had lots of evidence, it wasn’t allowed to be presented.

You seem to have a low IQ. Let’s proceed further so that we can be sure.

          The floor is yours.

      • Fools Rushin March 26, 2021 at 4:33 pm #

Even opinions can be defamatory if they imply facts that are false and Powell knew it or recklessly disregarded the truth or falsity of the implied facts.

      • Tekapo March 26, 2021 at 5:03 pm #

… there is no claim for defamation when the alleged “defamatory” statement is a legal opinion.

As discussed in the previous cycle, that quote from Powell’s lawyers above is fairly desperate spin.

She all but convicted herself by arguing (in so many words) that her claims were so outrageous that no reasonable person could possibly believe they could be true true, so no defamation occurred.

Not a really clever argument from Sidney, on the surface. So the lawyers are trying to plead a kind of legal privilege where lies are protected. Good luck.

And people have complained long & hard that so many courts rejected the claims of fraud – perhaps they now understand that the outline of evidence in those claims was often so outlandish that they were literally unbelievable by a reasonable person.

Perhaps Sidney has a point. Some very UN-reasonable people did believe her, and they wound up storming the US Capitol on Jan 6.

        • benr March 26, 2021 at 5:32 pm #

        • hmuller March 26, 2021 at 10:04 pm #

Fools Rushin has presented an intriguing new perspective to the defamation laws.(sarcasm) It would make every lawyer who files a complaint subject to civil liability and really gum up the legal system. Why not! We have no justice, no rule of law left in America.

It would be nice if we could have at least one state where Americans could live free. No one coming to confiscate our guns, impose house arrest, pump untested poison into our bodies, or teach our children how to be drag queens.

But people like Fools Rushin would never allow it. They insist that no one escape the totalitarian society they are working so hard to impose everywhere on earth.

Slight change of topic. I wonder what Green Alba thinks of the new UK travels restrictions. If this isn’t Stalinism, what is?

“Starting on Monday, anyone who leaves England must submit papers making a certified declaration of their reason for leaving. The authorities will then retain the discretion to fine travelers £5,000— nearly $7,000, if the reason isn’t valid.

The government has provided a list of 14 valid excuses, such as a professional football team traveling for a match. This is totally fine.

But someone who wants to attend a religious pilgrimage is forbidden to travel. So is someone who wants to visit an elderly parent they haven’t seen since 2019, unless it is a parent whom the traveler “reasonably believes is dying.”

      How magnanimous.

By the way, these new rules come despite Members of Parliament acknowledging in debate yesterday that 95% of Brits over the age of 60 have been vaccinated.

This means that the most vulnerable population has been administered a vaccine that they insist is safe and effective.

So… why the harsh lockdown rules?”

      • GreenAlba March 27, 2021 at 11:38 am #

        hm

We’ve had a similar conversation before, and it seems to me we agreed on most of the points I made then.

I have indeed, as a post-60, been offered the vaxx, and after proper consideration (which I’ll grant you many people have not undertaken to the same extent as myself) I decided to take it.

I do not require or wish anyone else to take it, and I do not require or wish anyone else to show a certificate to be anywhere that I am, because I consider that I have taken what precautions I can (or will have if we don’t run out of vaccine before I get my second dose), and I consider that both vaccine-takers and vaccine refuseniks have made their choices and should then live by them and shut up about it, so that we can all go to the pub, restaurant or anywhere else, sans certificate, and get on with our lives.

If we were but allowed to do so. We are currently in a middling phase where most people are not fully vaccinated (I think only about 2.5m have had the second dose) because of the way the health authorities have decided to do it. Real-world observation (as opposed to Pharma trials) has shown even one shot to be over 80% effective, so I’m happy with even that.

My only proviso, as I have stated before (and which got me into an involved to-and-fro with Akmofo, is that it is not up to me – or indeed to the English/Scottish/Welsh or N. Irish authorities – to say what restrictions other sovereign countries are entitled to put on people arriving in their country from the UK.

Nobody currently wants Brits coming unquarantined to their country because of (a) the current British variant, which is causing havoc elsewhere than Britain, and (b) the particularly poor record of Covid management that the UK has demonstrated. Not quite up there with Brazil, which recently saw relatives trying frantically to manually ventilate patients in the Manaus hospital that ran out of oxygen, but pretty bad.

    • Tekapo March 27, 2021 at 3:58 am #

So… why the harsh lockdown rules?

As far as I can read it, it has not a lot to do health considerations, but rather it is a forced economic measure … they are about to relax a great deal of the UK, and since Europeans and Americans aren’t about to flood to the UK, the government doesn’t want a huge money outflow.

The amounts seem very high indeed … so the wealthy going to Martinique or Antibes will readily pay it.

“The Chinese diplomat added: “What today’s world wants, and what tomorrow’s world would want, is to join efforts by all countries to build a community of nations for a shared future. We don’t think any attempt to divide the world into different camps or even build a confrontational military approach, we don’t think this kind of approach is a solution. Actually, this is a problem in itself.”

On Biden’s self-serving historic choice purportedly between “democracy or autocracy”, the real juncture for the world today is much more grave. It is between conflict or cooperation, and ultimately war or peace.

It is increasingly obvious who the warmongers are.”

    Dear Chinese diplomat,

They do not want to divide the world.
They want to divide your people from their national patrimony.
    Ask Vlady P. about it.

What happens when a group of people so content in their ability to fool people, so confident in their ability to muzzle and silence those that see through their hypocrisy, fail.
      Hard.

“But, when it came to the main scene, it all went wrong. Blinken, having duly read out the prepared ‘grievances’ indictment, found that the anti-hero, Yang Jiechi, instead of being chastened and reproved, hit back. (He had read the Theatre promo, and was prepared). It was a disaster. The End of Act. The mould was broken. An editor at the U.S. Spectator surmises: “The United States, said Yang, in one of the most dismissive diplomatic rejoinders I have ever heard, does not have the ‘qualifications’ to address China ‘from a position of strength’. F, my dear Blinken, you”.

Then we come to a further scene, where the play’s two anti-heroes turn out not to be ‘anti-heroes’, but brothers-in-arms. It turns out that the Russian anti-hero’s patron had been earlier impugned as a soulless ‘killer’. Lavrov and Li seal a pact in Beijing after the talks. And China warns any regional actor who sides with Uncle Sam – against either of the brothers-in-arms – ‘would not succeed in standing alone’ against either brother, but to face them jointly would be unimaginable. “Anyone putting their faith in the U.S. would be disappointed. The U.S. is weakening”.

The mould is in pieces – and Russia and China have come together.”

It’s interesting (perhaps disappointing) that there is almost no discussion or criticism of the Georgia Jim Crow 2.0 laws that were signed into law yesterday.

Yet there are many posts being very critical of one-party dictatorships and that none of us live under one. I guess the conclusion is that a one-party “uniparty” system is just fine so long as it is Republican.

Anyway – there are prospects that HR-1 in Congress might pass, and that can help protect the right to vote – and to do so comfortably.

Can you imagine the good ole boys in smoke-filled rooms, sipping on rye … dreaming up more and more outrageous ways to make voting complicated, uncomfortable, inconvenient, expensive, unsafe … and so on.

            Either way, that’s life, no?

          • MrMangoOnMyShoulder March 26, 2021 at 9:55 pm #

          • O.G. Hawkins March 26, 2021 at 10:12 pm #

I don’t know. I keep hearing horror stories of 3- & 7-hour waits to vote in USA. Rich people & poor people shouldn’t be voting together. They don’t live together. If they vote together, there should be more voting locations. Like GreenAlba, I am unfamiliar with these long lines for hours to vote. Mist democracies make ir painless with the goal of large percentage participation. There are so much shenanigans on both sides, it seems the goal is rigging it rather than validity.

      Tekapo

You are so full of it. We are under a Democratic Uniparty right now and unless a counter party reaction happens soon, this is going to be a dictatorship by 2022. The Dems are doing everything they can think of to forward this agenda, voter rights bills, open the border, get rid of the electoral college, get rid of the Senate filibuster, stack the Supreme Court, and more. How dare you accuse the GOP of something your side has been doing for forty years.

    • MrMangoOnMyShoulder March 26, 2021 at 8:28 pm #

Tekapo, you kill me. That’s a good one.

If *anyone* can please tell me exactly how paying strict attention to voter rolls, ID, confirmation of registration status, and negating uncountable potential frauds via unmonitored mass mail-in voting with a never-ending count date is racist, in any way whatsoever on any plane of actual logic, please do.

So far, all I’ve ever heard is, “Well, some people don’t have IDs, particularly in the minority community.”

Okay, then get one, if you want to vote. Make a “citizen ID” free, for fuck’s sake, I’m cool with that.

Otherwise, logic only dictates trying to cheat, using a now-meaningless cultural cancel buzzword as the spectre of justification.

      • Tekapo March 26, 2021 at 9:37 pm #

So far, all I’ve ever heard is, “Well, some people don’t have IDs, particularly in the minority community.”

If the question of ID is such a drama for people of a certain type, then simply design a system where you receive a Voter ID card when you are registered.

And for those already registered to vote but have no ID (can that be a big number?) you can request a Voter ID card. There are no elections until about June 2022, so plenty of time to organise this.

I am also leery about “same day registration” – firstly poll workers are busy enough, and secondly, everyone knows for years – decades – ahead the dates of most elections. One should be able to get yourself on the roll at least a month prior to election day.

But in general, the Georgia “reforms” are all about suppressing the Democrat vote – which isn’t surprising.

        • MrMangoOnMyShoulder March 26, 2021 at 9:58 pm #

Okay, so you agree with everything I’m saying, but still, Republican bill stating those things…bad. Am I correct?

      • MrMangoOnMyShoulder March 26, 2021 at 10:02 pm #

        And…

“If the question of ID is such a drama for people of a certain type, then simply design a system where you receive a Voter ID card when you are registered.”

When you are registered with what? When I get my state ID (driver’s license), I’m automatically registered as a voter at my address, with my name.

What would people receive a Voter ID for if they don’t apply for a state ID of some kind? Turning on the power? Okay, I’m kind of alright w that.

But it’s pretty simple for 99%.

        Welcome to (insert state here)!
Fill this out, stand over there for a photo, okay, and that’ll be 45 bucks…oh, and you’re now you’re registered to vote (and apparently an organ donor even thought you didn’t check the box)…next!

      • MaryV March 31, 2021 at 4:26 pm #

Why keep up this farce about fair elections?

A very long article, with twists and turns. Someone wise once said that the most bitter battles are fought over the smallest issues.

And the stoush at Wikipedia – it seems to me – misunderstands the evolution (and including the political transformation) of the English language. It’s not up to Wikipedia and its myriad “editors” to instigate or promote new usage English is dynamic and it moves along pretty quickly.

So we have, “If a student is late arriving, they have to report to the front office.” This form is now really widely accepted, and you have to a certain kind of curmudgeon to dislike it, in my view.

It seems to me it also covers all genders.

However with this, “Keiynan Lonsdale revealed that they are looking at several new movie scripts”. – it doesn’t work well, in fact hardly at all.

Is this any better? “Keiynan Lonsdale revealed that tree is looking at several new movie scripts”.

    In other words, no ID’s?

In whose other words? Certainly not mine. Georgia already requires a picture ID in order to register, receive a ballot, and to actually vote.

I’m not hugely opposed to voter ID – but it is open to abuse by partisan officials … in some states a student ID was not permitted. There are no reasons not to allow a student ID – unless your objective to is suppress the young progressive vote.

An ID only needs to establish that you are the named person on the card – it is not doing the job of finding your address, and whether you are registered to vote in that state-county … the roll should do that.

Anyway – not the point – the new Voter Suppression Rules in Georgia are very cynical and demonstrate the raw abuse of power by the Republicans … but there might even be a backlash.

As I said above, we as humans should know past a certain age of adolescence to bring water if you think you’ll be waiting somewhere for a while. After reaching adulthood, this is not a question of “why can’t we help these poor people?!”.

The problem isn’t giving people water. It’s the laws against campaigning outside of polling places that make it a problem.

    • JohnAZ March 26, 2021 at 7:46 pm #

Wow, you are right. The voter ID should identify you and your registration should verify your residence where you are living. One more, once you have voted, your “account” is closed, no voting multiple times. And no unsigned mail in ballots, how about signed with state ID on it so that it really one vote per person. Ballot stuffing must be stopped. And no damned hackable computers.

      • Tekapo March 26, 2021 at 10:05 pm #

Of course I am right! 🙂

I have no problem with ensuring the probity of every vote – what I object to (on “democracy” grounds, not Democratic ones) are obvious and egregious steps to suppress minority and inner-city votes – that is bulldust. Fewer booths, fewer days, fewer hours, roll-purging, etc.

There was some turkey in some state who tried to argue that there should be no voting on Sunday (the “Lord’s Day”) – can you believe it? I won’t even bother with the obvious rebuttals.

I agree that every mail-in vote should be verifiable – with the outside envelope containing all relevant identification material, and a signed declaration.

Ballot harvesting I have less of a drama with – firstly because if done well, then it is “pro-democracy” (giving people in aged care, or immobile at home, etc, the opportunity to cast a vote), secondly, it is pretty hard to detect, and thirdly, I expect both major parties do it in equal measure, so any shenanigans should equal themselves out.

Hey, who’s blocking the Suez Canal? That’s a pretty big ship there, almost impossible to dislodge. Eventually it might have to be torpedoed.

Meanwhile, interesting developments in DC. This week, 3 young ‘Sistahs’, one of them 13 yo, decided they needed a car, so set out to steal one. The car they liked had a driver in it, an elderly Pakistani immigrant. No problem, they dragged him out of the car, but not fully, and when they drove away they ran over his head, killing him, then crashing the car. I know, what a heartwarming story.

Also in DC, Pete Buttplug, Sec.of Transportation, announced he will be pushing for a Mileage Tax, that is, taxing you on the amount of mileage you put on your car every year. Sounds crazy but it’s part of the plan to get you riding buses and cool the Climate 1.5°C by the year 2025.

I agree – your Voter ID is hopefully timeless, in the sense that it does not contain your current address – which is recorded on your registration, and you should only have to change it if you move out of the county or district, but it’s better if you do update it whenever you move.

” It’s interesting (perhaps disappointing) that there is almost no discussion or criticism of the Georgia Jim Crow 2.0 laws that were signed into law yesterday. ”

For my part , I don’t live in Georgia , I don’t want to live in Georgia , and so I don’t consider it to be any of my business.

Another way of looking at it ; It’s hard for me to sympathize with people living five states away claiming concern about the doings in outer Mongolia.

I gave it the old college try ; 30 years , in a particular state before accepting the fact that it was a shit hole.

Then I took a big risk , a big risk because you never really know if a place is actually better UNTIL AFTER you have moved there and lived there.

I moved to another state , and got very lucky. It turns out this state is a hundred times better than the shit hole state I lived in.

It wasn’t all gravy though . I had to give up the best job I ever had , had to give up a house that cost a lot of the proverbial blood , sweat and tears. I’ve never made even half the income I made then.

That’s another reason I don’t believe this , ” One Country , one culture ” crap. It’s a lie , it’s imperialism by another name . It is not , and never was , true.

Where am I here? Or, where am I, here? Or, where am I? Here? Just add a bit of punctuation and the question makes sense, kinda.

So, yes, you are here and not anyplace else, I would answer, had the question actually been asked, which given Crazy Joe’s state of physical and mental decrepitude, isn’t beyond the realm. Just some old guy that should be on the porch in his rocking chair trying to orient himself, maybe after an out-of-body experience, that’s all. Sometimes it’s the medication.

It’s not often that something comes out of the great, leafy-green bastions of learning – and I use the word “learning” lightly – that might actually have some wider application. “Intersectionality” they say, which according to the wikipedia burble, is the interconnected nature of social categorizations such as race, class and gender as they apply to a given individual or group regarded as creating overlapping systems of discrimination and disadvantage. That’s what it sez.

Or, alternatively, discrimination and not disadvantage but rather advantage. Look at Crazy Joe’s attributes in this regard, male, white, suit and tie, in tight with the right people, native English-speaker with an acceptable accent. And a university education.

But why stop there? Can’t you have “intersectionality” of other characteristics that most obviously apply to individuals or groups that run the US that would account for real-world outcomes like those we see today? Like imbecility, senility, criminality, just to name a few?

“Interconnected” the theory sez, and these sure are interconnected as you see them in action day-in and day-out for example in the conduct of American foreign policy and economic strategy. You see it presented in the pronouncements from the Eccles Building, the State Department, the White House, in such laugh-fests as Trump’s election win, or rather Hillary’s flame-out, in the Russia collusion hysteria, in the absurd Mueller investigation, in the current mess on the border. Many, many examples, too many to list.

It’s that you MUST be an imbecile, a criminal, and senile, or that you MUST exhibit the characteristic disordered and illogical and felonious behaviors and actions if you aspire for power. I’m not sure that “intersectionality” entirely explains where things are at in the USA but maybe it’s a start.

In any case I think it’s a somewhat different set of attributes from those across the pond, with the ruling classes over yonder diminished mentally and physically by centuries of in-breeding and opium and alcohol and syphilis.

As bad as the toffs were on both sides of the 1914-1945 conflagration, the ones that sit on the thrones over there nowadays don’t come knee-high to those doddering fools, the grandfathers and great grandfathers.

If it was just the ruling class it would be worrying indeed but, Brits aside, and hurray for the Brits, it’s the flaccidity of the followership, the cafe layabouts as JHK once called them, people that exhibit no apparent will to live, that’s appalling.

Well no need to state the obvious, but there’s others not far off, just a day’s boat-ride that have no such lack, and have got the vim and vigor and fighting spirit even if they don’t have the societal organization and leadership. But give it time.

“”my confident guess would be that Georgia is full of U.S. citizens who , truth be told , hate Georgia , hate Georgia’s culture , and hate the native Georgians.

Almost all the native Georgians (Cherokee, Shawnee, etc) were given the flick a long time ago – wound up in some dirt-box out in Oklahoma, Nebraska, or Kansas. “”

So is that a condemnation of imperialism , or an endorsement of imperialism ?

    • volodya March 27, 2021 at 12:07 am #

More like a statement of historical facts than a condemnation or endorsement. Around 4,000 years ago a people termed “bell-beaker” people spread from the European mainland into the British Isles which were inhabited at the time by a different folk. The two groups were physically distinct, the “bell-beaker” people with a squarish skull and face, the indigenous Brits with narrow skulls and faces and high foreheads. Within a few generations of the bell-beaker invasion the indigenous Brits were gone. The DNA analysis of skeletal remains showing roughly a 90% replacement of the pre-existing Brits.

This is what happened over and over. A technologically more advanced people moves in, takes over and either kills off or chases away or out-breeds the original inhabitants which is pretty much what happened in America.

  53. KesaAnna March 27, 2021 at 12:00 am #

Father – son – grandson – great grandson – assuming they all lived 60 years , which , granted , would be a stretch —

that’s all that separates the Cherokee empire from ….. a whole bunch of people who live on the same land but aren’t even aware that such a thing even existed.

Perhaps it’s a stretch to call the land of the Tsalagi an ” empire ” ?

But it was once the biggest kid on the block in the South.

Cherokee used to hike all the way to the Great Lakes to fight The Six Nations , the big kid on the block in the North. And vice – versa. Iroquois would travel as far as north Georgia to claim Cherokee scalps for bragging rights.

The old Cherokee ” capitol ” , Echota , now lies under a lake , memorialized by a small plaque , at the end of an obscure , dead end , service road.

Since the Cherokee were known to traffic in slaves , practiced cannibalism occasionally , and occasionally married underage girls , I suppose someone would want to tear down that tiny plaque.

If they haven’t , I suppose it is because nobody ever sees it anyway.

My — actually certain — guess is that your worship of power , your pride , and your condescension will hang your great grand children.

And since you had no pity for Confederates , or my boys at Stalingrad , I regret that I won’t live to see them strung up .

Nothing lasts forever. The Celts in their various tribal incarnations, occupied huge tracts of central and western Europe. Until, that is, the Romans decided by means of legion and sword to civilize them. And then the Germanic tribes and the Slavs and Huns and others came charging in. Bye-bye Celts, overwhelmed and conquered except in a few far off fringe territories.

Conquest from without is one thing. You expect rough treatment. Betrayal and destruction from within by people purporting to be your wise and beneficent leadership is quite something else.

The Civilized Tribes also had Black slaves. Now those ex-slaves have forced their way into the Tribe because the Indians get better gibs than the Blacks do.

Your people are hopeless. That’s why you’re always talking about us, and not them. I think you know.

” Your people are hopeless. ”

        Yes ,

so even more embarrassing that yours are going down the same path , but voluntarily.

        Take Covid , for example.

I wish I could say it was a new wrinkle. But it isn’t .

        It is old hat.

I’m standing in the middle of a five acre parking lot , and it’s 98 degrees in the shade , or the windchill factor is minus 30.

        And I’m smoking a cigarette .

        In 1985.

Now at least one – third of what paid for the parking lots , the stop lights , and the high school football stadiums ,

        As late as 1970 ,

from Georgia to Connecticut , was the tobacco economy.

Now four dollars out of every four dollars and fifty cents of a pack of cigarettes is tax.

That is , you are taxing the shit out of an economy ….. that you have off – shored to totalitarian China.

Call me stupid , but that doesn’t exactly strike me as fucking bright.

It looks to me more like you can’t even reign in your passions sufficiently to do basic math.

Anyways , I’m standing there smoking my cigarette and one of your grossly – over – compensated Karens drives by in an SUV and gives me a dirty look.

        ummm……..

I’m pretty sure that SUV cranks out more Bee – Killing , tree – killing , second – hand – smoke IN AN HOUR than I’ll crank out in a week.

Notice this charming poster ( courtesy of the consent factory )

        https://consentfactory.files.wordpress.com/2020/11/berlin-finger.png

I have been looking at this poster for 30 fucking years.

        Another example ;

As I have pointed out before , Serial Killers are such a tiny percentage of the population , that you might as well buy lottery tickets , because your chances of meeting one in the flesh are about the same as your chances of winning the million dollar lottery.

The chances of you meeting one in a dark alley , less than that.

But this is the kinda shit that people have given up going for strolls of an evening ( when it’s not hot as hell ) in their own gated community neighborhoods for.

Sure , somebody wins the million dollar lottery , and serial killers do exist.

So ……. go ahead and shit your pants over that Charlie Bucket Golden ticket you will never see except in a childrens movie ??

        Another example of Covid ;

Poverty is getting fucked all day , everyday , and nine times out of ten , the Las Vegas odds say it will be a life sentence.

Millions of white kiddies , no doubt , are being financially ruined , right here in the Western world.

But that’s not a big deal.

Jeff Epstein is a big deal.

Maybe China or India should conquer the world , because the entire Western world has turned into hysterical pussy – ville.

        ” That’s why you’re always talking about us ”

        In the past tense.

That’s an interesting theory, Tekapo, but I think specious. You’re obviously correct that it’s nothing to do with health but neither do they have economics on their mind.

It’s Stalinism, pure and simple, as hmuller alluded to.

This ‘virus’ is statistically zero threat to anybody under the age of 50 and barely even moved the mortality rate of the 65-74 category. All over 60s have been offered their wonder-drug (95% effective, praise the Lord!).

Do you still have to mask up everywhere? Yes. Social distance? Yes. Can you open your restaurant? Nope. Meet your friends or family indoors? No. Go on holiday? Illegal? Leave your home town? ‘Stay at home’ order. Protest? Clamping down hard on that with more legislation.

We’re coming to the end of the current phase of fear so they’re now onto psychological manipulation for the next stage: coerced vaccination for every adult (minors will follow just as soon as Big Pharma can fake another 95% success story), endless ‘mutations’ and ‘variants’ to keep the fear going in perpetuity, and creation of their Stalin-esque pièce de résistance, the UK Health Security Agency.

Britons are lapping it up and will continue to do so. GA will no doubt add her Gaelic perspective.

    • Tekapo March 27, 2021 at 1:06 pm #

I just don’t buy the whole social-control / population-control Stalinist / NWO conspiracy vibe, using the pandemic as cover to change the world.

      1. I don’t believe there are sufficient Stalin types in some huge cabal in Westminster – or even in Zurich, or wherever the puppeteers live.

      2. I don’t think these alleged cabals are clever enough, and nor do they exercise that level of power – the world remains a fairly sprawling, chaotic, unpredictable place – for example one cargo ship blocks the Suez Canal and all sorts of drama ensues.

      3. Most importantly – what would be the point? The elites derive their wealth – ultimately – from the unbridled consumerism of the West, but increasing from all over the world. Lockdowns, travel bans, etc are a direct cost for the capitalist class – they are not going through this willingly or as part of a bigger plan.

So no – no tinfoil required by me. And I think mandatory vaccination in order to do a wide range of things is almost inevitable.

      • Yohannon March 27, 2021 at 1:19 pm #

Maybe because they’re rational and know the implications of limited resources and overpopulation – unlike say, classical Marxists?

If you’re on top of the Pyramid, and have more money than you can ever spend and more power than you know what to do with, so what if the base contracts and the Pyramid is lower – as long as you are still on top? They don’t need all these workers anymore. They’re just using up their resources. So they’ve decided to power down, using the workers as guinea pigs in a vast experiment that will kill or sterilize most of them. The remaining ones will be rendered obedient and sterile – perfect worker insects.

And to you decent point about chaos: Cut the population drastically and you drastically reduce the level of chaos.

        • Tekapo March 27, 2021 at 5:11 pm #

Goodness metatheory on metatheory – how do you keep up?

The mad-right always has to have something to rage about and things to feel angry about. Always.

Even though they claim to be the big swinging dicks at the top of the food chain, they live in constant fear and worry and victimhood.

Why not just make some real friends and go have a beer … works well. It’s what lefties do.

          • Slugoon March 27, 2021 at 6:24 pm #

It’s so weird. Replace ‘right’ with ‘left’ in that rant and it would pretty much sum up my view of things. You love London, I hate it. Maybe people just have their brains wired up in opposite ways. Fascinating.

      • Slugoon March 27, 2021 at 2:12 pm #

“And I think mandatory vaccination in order to do a wide range of things is almost inevitable.”

Unfortunately, that seems to be the way it’s headed, for reasons that I simply can’t fathom. What possible justification can there be on scientific or health grounds?

A jab that stops nobody from contracting nor transmitting this or any other crud, a jab that is already proving substantially less effective against ‘variants’ (and already proven to be substantially less effective than the 95% claimed in the first place), a jab that is running on an emergency approvals because mRNA vaccines have never passed muster in 30 years of research, all for a virus that has no statistically significant effect on the majority of the population? And why no accounting for natural immunity?

The vulnerable have taken their shot but rather than ease up the restrictions, they’re doubling down, citing theoretical situations where the risk of harm is so infinitesimally small that by the same logic we should now also ban cars, alcohol, cigarettes, pretty much stop living in case something happens to someone, somewhere at some point in time.

I am utterly convinced we’re dealing with a mass psychosis here, one that is entirely disproportionate to the actual threat. To wit, people have lost their fucking minds.

        • Yohannon March 27, 2021 at 2:36 pm #

          Succinctly stated. The exact situation.

        • Yohannon March 27, 2021 at 2:38 pm #

Attn Bill. There is no real reason to take it the vaccine. That is to say logical or biological. The only reasons to take it are the manufactured reasons of social and political Tyranny. And those are going to become very real indeed I’m afraid.

    • Tekapo March 27, 2021 at 1:15 pm #

If you can believe that 85 judges (mostly Repubs) got together at a country club, and agreed to not hear a single Trump case claiming election fraud, then you have far more faith in these devilish conspiracy theories than I can muster.

The machines were not compromised in any way that has been demonstrated. It’s all a result of severe disappointment by the MAGA crowd – who are not democratic at all, but messianic cultists who believed that Trump transcended party politics.

And a severe case of sore-loser sour grapes by The Donald … not entirely unexpected.

In the run up to the big Global Warming Summit on Earth Day, the Climate Czar is claiming China is “committed to be carbon free by 2060.” Really? How will that work? Xi Jingping will just forego any economic growth for the next 39 years? The Chinese could shut down its coal fired baseload plants and keep the lights on in a city like Shanghai, Pop. 27 million, using windmills and solar panels? China has 50 cities with populations over 2 million, 150 with populations over 1 million. They’re not going to need electricity, or the ability to keep warm in their brutally cold N Asia winters? Who believes this sh#t? Apparently the Climate Czar believes it, just as he believes in Sea Level Rise as his staff prepares his 10,000 sq ft seaside mansion and his ocean going power yacht for the ‘Season’.

That Biden press conference was absurd. I can’t believe that the man who stood behind the podium is acting in any executive capacity. His inability to form coherent thoughts or ideas was on full display.

The US isn’t really in a serious crisis yet. What do you think will happen when the trillions of funny money that is artificially maintaining the economy is spent?

The US economy is in shambles. State Media was reporting that over 100,000 restaurants alone have gone out of business in the past 12 months. This equates to millions of job losses. It’s not only the cooks, managers, and servers at the restaurant. It is all the people who supply those restaurants. It’s people who make products for that industry. That’s just one of the industries that were hammered by the forced shutdowns. There are many others.

When all the stimulus is gone, you will start to see some actual troubles. Like stock market collapse. Like people starving to death trouble. Millions of people evicted and homeless trouble.

    Stuff like that.

    • O.G. Hawkins March 27, 2021 at 2:01 pm #

Indeed. TPTB have converted phoney balogna US dollars into Real assets. The own the wealth and the house of tunbling cards is merely their wake behind the boat.

Note: $1,400 x 330mm citizens = $462B. $1.9T less the cheques leaves over $1.3T. Much of that is rolled into wealth leaving US$ as an empty husk.

They are talking $3T next time. They will continue looting while the looting is Good and then …

      Neofeudalsm. Feaudalism with kick-ass technology.

  60. PeteAtomic March 27, 2021 at 9:14 am #

One of the key trends for me that points to the fact that the US is in real deep shit– like up to its belly– and I mean–putrid for a week, 500 lb. black bear shit– is the potemkin village of idiocy by the State Media. When a nation is unable to effectively deal with real problems, they create imaginary ones.
So we have this sick, deranged fruit basket of “structural racism”, “white supremacy”, climate change catastrophism, and other fever dreams.

The terrible mismanagement in California of their natural resources of water & forests is creating terrible fires, and droughts. But nope! It’s not the fault of political/government leadership, it’s climate change! The climate did it! Not us!
The black community in the US wallows collectively in abject failure & victimhood. It’s not the failure of the leaders of the black community, or their democrat/government policy makers– it’s all hidden racism. Somewhere, somehow, invisible racism is “keeping blacks down”.

You get the point. I think this line of thinking will only get worse, as the economy collapses. Invisible, right wing extremists (who are also no doubt racists, naturally) will be the cause. Maybe Russian agents as well.
Maybe Russian agents working with right wing populist extremists!! oh boy….

    • Slugoon March 27, 2021 at 10:20 am #

That’s why “system racism” was invented. One can assert that everyone and everything is racist without having to provide any examples or evidence, in order to excuse your own failure and inferiority complex.

Changing the subject, it looks like the UK is sabre-rattling again, citing Russia as the “new threat” blah blah blah. More predictable psy-ops by the British government to distract the sheeple. They’ve locked us down, destroyed our economy, are now engaging in the most egregious vaccine coercion and stripping away all of our freedoms and liberties, and they want me to believe that Russia is the problem? Pffft.

      • GreenAlba March 27, 2021 at 12:05 pm #

I’d say the anti-Russian thing is definitely an Anglo thing, more than a British thing. It was a May thing and it’s a Boris thing, even though foreign policy isn’t a devolved matter officially.

I didn’t vote for either of them. I’m willing to bet you voted at least for Boris.

It must be more than six months now since I said I was astonished to find myself light years to the libertarian side of Boris Johnson!

Ya pays yer money and yer takes yer choice.

Not that I wouldn’t like to see Nicola rocketed to Mars, but I don’t think Russia takes up much space in her head. 🙂

I sometimes wonder if the Anglo-Russian thing isn’t all theatre anyway, on both sides, and they all piss themselves laughing behind our backs.

        • GreenAlba March 27, 2021 at 12:14 pm #

It’s not as if a goodly quantity of all those stripped assets stolen from the Russian people aren’t languishing in City of London banks and huge, empty Mayfair properties.

I didn’t vote for Boris. Its been UKIP/The Brexit Party for me at every election. Where neither stood, I abstained. The ‘Conservatives’ can rot in hell as far as I’m concerned.

OG, the psyche of these people is that they can’t countenance you not doing what you’re told. They don’t care about the virus or risk. They’re bothered because you won’t be pushed around and follow the herd.

I think there’ll be some light when the dust settles though. There will be a large enough group of pariahs remaining to form new friendships with like-minded people, engage in meaningful activities, socialise, and maybe even new businesses that will cater for the un-vaxxed without the fear and prejudice that these people enjoy.

They will hate it when a parallel society emerges but we’ll be free to tell them to go fuck themselves.

I don’t think it will come to that. Pubs are already saying they can’t and won’t work with certificate schemes, so people will just do as they please, after a while.

Beauty is surely in the eye of the beholder. To me it’s a filthy, overcrowded crime-ridden cesspit. I suppose it’s analogous to some of the coastal Democrat cities. There’s a ‘type’ that loves it and a ‘type’ that does not.

I thank my lucky stars that I’m Type A and love London, and the Democrat coastal cities, but can happily live without Omaha or Oklahoma City!

There’s no city in the US that matches London, in my view. And the only really big cities I’ve not been to are those in Texas.

    Meanwhile, in China,
On March 5, Wuhan Hongxin (HSMC), a Chinese semiconductor and chip-manufacturing company with a total planned investment of more than 15 billion USD, officially announced its bankruptcy and laid off 240 employees. The project was the largest chip-manufacturing project in China, twice the size of the New York-listed SMIC. It was launched in November 2017 and was once seen as the future and hope of China’s chip industry. But it fell apart in just 4 years.

    China manufacturing 2025.

According to statistics, in 2019 alone, the country added more than 10,000 new chip enterprises, in 2020, the annual number of newly registered chip enterprises went up to 22,800, an increase of 195%. In just the first two months of 2021, new registrations have reached 4,350, a year-on-year increase of 378%. As of today, there are 66,500 chip-related enterprises in mainland China.
In May 2020, the proposed US$10 billion chip manufacturing plant, Chengdu Gexin, was officially shut down. The project lasted only 2 years; In July 2020, Nanjing Deke, a chip project with an initial US$3 billion investment, was reduced to a “triple-unpaid company” with unpaid wages, unpaid payments, and unpaid taxes, and is now in bankruptcy and liquidation.

Wuhan Hongxin is only a fragment of China’s big chip-making scam, and more and more similar stories are coming to the surface. It makes people wonder, how far can a country go when their companies are like this?

Tucker has reported on two Trump supporters at the Capitol Rally who attempted to rat out fellow Trump supporters by taking pictures and then turning the pictures over to the Police. One of them, a DEA agent, was immediately fired for just being at the rally. The other cuck, stepped into the building, a really really good boy trying to get the goods on the bad boys, and took pictures of the Heroes and then turned the pictures over to the police. He was such a good boy he only stepped into the building. No further! The loathsome fool is no facing seven years in prison.

Unfortunately or fortunately the realization sets in that the geographic suggestion typically referred to as the “United States” (“united” lol) is as much a mirage as its supposed “president”. But laughingly most everyone still goes along and acts as if this mental construct is real. The tax collectors must be thrilled. People still pay to an entity that exists on paper but has no basis in reality. Thus the reason what is told to us is our “military” doesn’t do even the first thing to protect the border. But that is because there is no border because there is no real country. The Fed, a collection of faceless and nameless foreigners owns the corporation called United States. Also what hopefully will come into focus for you is that the melting pot myth which the corporation has droned on about for 120 years (vampire parasites may actually be sitting Senators for that long?) was specifically intended to result in a graveyard of peoples and a birthing place for soulless corporate minions. So all that to say that some could possibly contend that Joe and his handlers are smashing successes.

Why should any nation-state exist in a world of cosmopolitan trillionaires for whom such things are merely toys and tools? The audacity of middle Americans, and really anyone, to believe that they have any representation at all at such a level in this day and age. Well, they count on that. And so far it has worked to the extent that the Great Reset or whatever you wish to call it is basically moving forward on a timetable of the predators’ discretion..

Thank you for letting me know that mo. ssad. includes me in their White supremacist daydreams and fantasies. I have to admit that made me giggle. But Catholic I am not. No universalism for me. In other words, if I did have a country you would not be part of it because you are an unbeliever and an outlander. And that to me is the better more sophistcated message of unity.

    • Yohannon March 27, 2021 at 2:25 pm #

Just so! Universalism isn’t sophisticated at all. It’s silly puddy for the mind. Idolatry of the lame brained, lazy intellectuals – too dumb to realize that’s it’s really Christianity shorn of God and abetted by an all too human hubris.

Tucker Carlson celebrates this vision of America as a “graveyard of peoples” every night. The Left knows our History better – and hates us for being for our own Race. So there we have it: the good guys are as dumb as rocks and thus hide their treason from themselves, enabling the Destroyers to always have Truth on their side! How can we ever win, being divided against our very selves and real tradition?

      • SoftStarLight March 27, 2021 at 4:23 pm #

And it is perplexing to me that Tucker remains essentially a Civ Nat but at the same time clearly understands that historical America has been robbed, undermined, dispossessed at literal gunpoint, and is being conspicuously replaced by what the parasites think will be a compliant and subservient Mestizo peasantry. And he does tend to venerate the mythical nobility of the impoverished masses of others and asserts that they can be us by adopting our values (?) and merging into whatever is anticipated to be a common culture. It’s difficult for me to think he could possibly just be fronting a disingenuous niavety though I accept it as a real possibility. But many people do unwittingly support their own destruction in this way as you say. I don’t really understand it. I thought it was natural to want to survive so it must be an issue of threat recognition?

        • Yohannon March 27, 2021 at 9:42 pm #

Well his writer was a racist or racially aware. But then again so was the young Limbaugh. He wanted to stay on the air so that part of him had to underground – or just go. The same may be happening with Tucker. Being “on air” is a drug and it pays the bills to boot.

The human mind has trouble with dissonance. It prefers the simplicity of Truth. And if it has to settle for fake or “official truth”, it will do that if the rewards are good enough. And the feeling of being a hypocrite gets buried along with the Truth. The World applauds.

That’s my theory at least. I can’t imagine how as bright a guy as Tucker could not know – especially if his young friend and writer knew. The coverup is easier since he wants Civic Nationalism to work since he was raised with this vision of America. It is a step up from the vile Libertarianism he used to endorse. That kind of meritocratic elitism is completely at home with human difference and thus racial differences, at least for the intellectually honest.

  69. Yohannon March 27, 2021 at 2:15 pm #

    Barnhardt:

We are in the midst of a suicidal mass psychosis on a scale never before seen in human history. We all know about the Jonestown cult and their mass suicide (the origin of the phrase “drink the Kool-Aid”), but the better example of an entire society falling overnight into an intransigent insistence upon committing mass suicide is the Xhosa people of Southern Africa beginning in ARSH 1856.

The thing to remember about what is happening now is that this is, beyond Big Pharma, beyond Gates, Soros and Fauci, beyond the Central Banks, beyond the government-media combine, beyond all of these dynamics, the ultimate driver of this is satan, and this is all, at its core, a ritual sacrifice to satan. Satan wants the entire human race to commit ritual suicide as a final holocaust offering to him, the total inversion of Calvary. For God so loved the world that permitted Himself to be sacrificed to redeem mankind, and mankind filled with self-loathing and hatred of God chooses to embrace satan and eternal damnation by self-immolation ritual suicide as a final sacrifice to Satan.

Now, your reading assignment for today is to read about the ENTHUSIASTIC mass suicide, pretty much out of the blue, of the Xhosa people of Southern Africa. On the word of one young girl who claimed she had a “vision” an entire race of people slaughtered all of their livestock and burned all of their crops. Because two girls told them it was the only way they could be saved and bring about a Utopia, and if they didn’t do this, they would be destroyed along with the entire world.

Sound familiar? Read up. Excerpt below. Be warned, this author tries to blame this diabolical act on Christianity somehow, and paint is as a protest against Christian proselytism. It was a purely pagan manifestation of evil – if any these people actually saw anything preternatural, it was demonic. The white Christians BEGGED the Xhosa to not do this evil and insane thing. I think you will be struck by the similarities to what is happening now – even down to the terminology… “New World” Order.

One morning in 1856, a fifteen year old Xhosa girl named Nongqawuse went with another girl to scare birds from her uncle’s crops in the fields by the sea at the Gxarha river mouth in the present day Wild Coast area of South Africa.

When she returned she said that she had seen a man, who had told her that ‘The whole community would rise from the dead; that all cattle now living must be slaughtered’. The girls returned home and told their families what had happened but they were not believed. Later, however, when Nongqawuse described one of the men, her uncle Mhalakaza, himself a diviner, recognised the description as that of his dead brother, and became convinced she was telling the truth.

As a result, between April 1856 and June 1857, the various sections of the Xhosa people of the Eastern Cape and the Transkei slaughtered almost all their enormous stocks of cattle and deliberately killed their crops. This apocalyptic event, rather than being some kind of ‘mass suicide’s described by early colonial historians, was actually the earliest example of a mass ‘passive resistance’ movement in South Africa. The themes and symbols of the Cattle-Killing can be found in the various resistance movements of South Africa right into the modern era.

Nongqawuse and Mhalakaza said that those who had appeared to them were the spirits of their dead ancestors, who had come back to life in order to bring the Xhosa nation back to its former glory and to ‘render the Xhosa the assistance they required in order to drive the white man out of the land’.

A few days later Mhalakaza met with the spirits himself, and said that all the dead of the Xhosa nation would arise again, that they would come up out of the sea, bringing with them new and uncontaminated cattle, along with ‘sheep, goats, dogs, fowls and every other animal that was wanted, and all clothes and everything they could wish for to eat. . . and all kinds of things for their houses.’ The cattle, said Nongqawuse, were at present in underground caverns waiting to arise and start a new world for the purified Xhosa people. On the day of their coming, she promised, ‘the blind would see, the deaf would hear, cripples would walk, and the whole Xhosa nation would arise from the dead’ and begin a golden age without disease, death or misfortune.

As word of the prophecies grew, the Xhosa paramount chief, Sarhili, sent emissaries to the Gxarha river mouth to investigate the prophecies. They did not actually meet the strangers, but returned home convinced of the truth of the prophecies and immediately began killing their cattle. Sarhili then sent two of his councillors to notify the chiefs under British jurisdiction that they must sacrifice their ‘bewitched’ cattle. Once Sarhili had come out in support, the movement gained enormous momentum.

But not all the Xhosa killed their cattle. Many refused to believe the truth of the prophecies and refused to waste their corn and neglect their gardens. By the end of 1856, so many cattle had been killed that the adherents of the movement had gone too far to turn back. Searching for a reason why the dead had not been resurrected as the prophecies promised, they blamed the ‘selfish’ actions of the ‘Unbelievers’ in preserving their cattle.

As the Cattle-Killing frenzy swept Xhosaland, rumours flew. The most striking of these was that the ‘New People’ foretold by Nongqawuse were in some way connected to the Russians, against whom the British were currently fighting -and being defeated -in the Crimean War. The Russians were therefore believed to be black, and coming over the sea to liberate the Xhosa and drive the whites into the sea, whereupon a new Utopia for the nation would begin. The individual magistrates who were stationed with chiefs under Governor Grey’s system tried to persuade the chiefs of the foolishness of slaughtering their cattle, but with little success.

As hunger set in, the farms of the unbelievers were plundered and rage against them mounted. Blamed for the destitution around them, and denied any help from the colonial government, they became outcasts, scarcely any better off than the Believers.

By February 1857 , starvation and destitution was widespread. No definite date had as yet been set for the beginning of the New World, and so many cattle had been killed there was no sense in keeping those that remained alive.

Sarhili visited the Gxarha river mouth, and spoke with Nongqawuse and Mhalakaza for a long time. When he returned, he announced that the New World would begin in eight days. On the eighth day the sun would rise blood-red, before setting again, there would be a huge Thunderstorm, and then “The dead would arise”. During the next eight days the Cattle- Killing rose to a climax. The Xhosa historian Gqoba reported that on the eighth day – ” The sun rose just like any other sun. The Believers withdrew into their houses all day, fastened tightly behind their doors, peeping outside occasionally through little holes in their dwellings until the sun disappeared. . . “

The estimated figure of those who died as result of the cattle-killing stands at 40,000. In addition, the Governor of the Cape instigated a massive programme of labour ‘recruitment’ which led to thousands of Xhosa being transported across the border into Cape Colony. Magistrates were instructed only to give food and relief to those who were willing to be contracted for labour in the colony. Those who agreed were obliged to sign a term of agreement whereby they expressed their willingness to work anywhere in Cape Colony for any wage that was offered.

Yoho: And when the slaughter of cattle and corn didn’t seem to be working the dupes turned their wrath on the disbelievers – those who hadn’t killed their cattle. The sacrifice had to be absolute and perfect. Just so, soon the Covid Cultists will turn their wrath on those who refuse the Shot and the Mark.

Can you not imagine Kesa as one of the little girl prophets? But instead of the Black Russians coming to help, it would be Black East Germans, goose stepping down the length of Africa to teach those nasty Whites what for.

Thank you Kesa for your humility. As for Whites, our superior intellects only help us when we use them – and use them well. If we use them to create monstrous technologies in service of evil dreams, it would be better for us not to have them at all.

This is the Temper’s Hour. By all means enjoy your schadenfreude. Or resist Him and don’t.

I was once invited to join a Christian Cult of Homeless people. They would teach you to live on the streets and eat out of garbage cans, etc. The guy seemed for real, an ascetic in other words. Fanatical, but not crazy. Might have been interesting. Probably could have picked up a valuable skill set.

Nobody fighting here, OG. When I went along there were more helpers than vaccinees – it was very well organised and relaxed.

And some of the Pfizer vaccine doses – at about £80 a pop, had to be chucked down the sink at one of our local hospitals because people hadn’t turned up for their appointments. So if it’s like that in a country with a high acceptance rate, they surely can’t be jockeying and fighting over your way?

Bit of hyperbole perhaps because you’re annoyed at them for getting vaccinated? Why can’t people just accept each other’s decisions with good grace?

if some people on here think all of us vaccinated chumps are going to be dead in six months, isn’t that something for you to celebrate?

TBH, Tekapo, I think there are intolerant people on both sides.

I don’t think that people should have to be vaccinated if they don’t want to be, or treated as a pariah either if they aren’t. If I were 30, I wouldn’t be getting it myself, most likely. But I’m damn well not going to apologise for getting it either. Or be lectured to by people who get their information from dipstick websites.
