I don’t know about you, but for a couple of days there I expected to wake up to the sight of mushroom clouds billowing across the horizon, all our exceptional hopes, wishes, troubles, and cares as a nation gone up in a vapor of smoking plastic. I think it was the Defense Secretary, nickname “Mad Dog,” who put the kibosh on the latest neocon temper tantrum against Bashar “The Animal” al-Assad. General Mattis told the House Armed Services Committee that the US was, er, “still looking for evidence” of an alleged poison gas attack against civilians in Douma, Syria.

That phrase “still looking for evidence” sounds like an elliptical way of saying we have no idea what, if anything, might have actually happened over there, just possibly even nothing at all. The Russians were busy looking for evidence on the ground in and around Douma, and they claimed to have found nothing — no traces of poison gas, no corpses, no gassing victims in the local hospital — and put out a call for international inspectors to come have a look. No reply on that from our side. Which does raise the question: are we even interested in the truth?

Maybe not. Also apparently not in the strange case of the poisoned Skripals that preceded the incident (or not) at Douma, and which touched off an expulsion orgy of Russian Diplomats among the US and our allies. Sergei Skripal, a Russian/British double-agent who had been exchanged to Britain in a spy-swap, fell ill along with his daughter, Yulia, on a park bench after lunching in quaint old Salisbury, Wiltshire, UK. The supposed weapon in that case, Novichok, an advanced neurotoxin that kills instantly, was found on the doorknob of the Skripal house, and yet the couple made it downtown, enjoyed a leisurely meal, and took a post-luncheon stroll. Casual observers did note that Salisbury is only a ten-minute drive from the UK’s Defence Science and Technology Laboratory, where military poisons are stored and evaluated, and after two weeks of idle chatter, scientists there released a galling report that they could not determine the origin of whatever knocked out the Skripals.

In any case, it didn’t kill them. Yulia Skripal was released from the hospital this week and is, apparently, some sort of hostage of the British government. You’d suppose that in a free country, Yulia might be interested in talking to the press, and certainly vice-versa, but she is incommunicado and was whisked away under guard to some mysterious hideaway. Sergei, we’re told, is coming out of it, too, in his hospital room, and seems to have nothing to say, either. There was chatter in the US media that the Skripals might be sent here under some sort of US witness protection program. It looks like the US and Britain are running out of rugs to sweep stuff under.

Clownish as it was, the Skripal affair ramped up already poor relations between Russia and the West (mainly the US) to code red levels, as perhaps intended by the dream factory known as the Intelligence Community. At least that’s how it played in Deep State officialdom. The distracted public has stopped paying attention to it. Note: neither The New York Times, the WashPo, nor CNN, have issued any righteous calls for answers in the malodorous Skripal matter. They’re all probably embarrassed that they latched on to the story and played it like “Pearl Harbor.” But no one is accountable and the net result is a Russian diplomatic presence reduced to a skeleton crew in Washington, which can’t be a great thing for mutual understanding.

So, now, the Russians and Syrians have had plenty of time to scramble their airplanes and move personnel around the landscape to await another US smackdown, and the Russians have promised to shoot down our missiles with some spooky new technology, and it looks like our side is blinking. Do we have any idea whether the Russians actually can shoot down our offensive missiles? Maybe we don’t want to know. We surely don’t want the world to know. It would be — how you say? — bad optics.

Of course, this latest uproar over the Douma poison gas incident coincided with the first day at work of National Security Advisor John Bolton, a reputed devotee of military monkey business. But it’s possible that even Mr. Bolton is embarrassed by these crude shenanigans, which just preceded his return to influence on the political scene. If he has any influence at all, perhaps he might use it to suggest that the President of the United States just shut the fuck up for a while.

“If he has any influence at all, perhaps he might use it to suggest that the President of the United States just shut the fuck up for a while.”

Amen to that. And maybe he could do it in the full hearing of Boris Johnson, who might be persuaded to follow suit (as if…).

    • K-Dog April 13, 2018 at 10:36 am #

      Easier said than done.

      • GreenAlba April 13, 2018 at 10:47 am #

Well, indeed. What is it about chubby, straw-haired, lying, sexually and vocally incontinent buffoons? Boris wants to be PM too. Gawd help us… ‘Boris and Don’ (Doris?).

    • Janos Skorenzy April 13, 2018 at 2:13 pm #

Listen to this one! Just the other day she was raving about the Skripal atrocity perpetrated by Putin. It was BBC Gospel. Who needs the Scriptures now that we have the Telly?

      • GreenAlba April 13, 2018 at 6:06 pm #

        Liar, liar, pants on fire…

Anybody who’s read my posts on the subject knows I said – repeatedly – that anyone who claims to know who’s responsible is talking nonsense.

But like I said, liar, liar… You just can’t help yourself.

        • GreenAlba April 13, 2018 at 6:24 pm #

You don’t know it wasn’t done by Putin. Which was exactly my point. Whoever was responsible, I don’t want WWIII to start over it. Which was my other point – and the one I made to my MP this morning if you’d bothered to read my earlier post.

But you carry on creating your own reality. Your mate Goebbels taught you well.

  3. JustSaying April 13, 2018 at 9:45 am #

AMEN! A whole bunch of people need to stop talking because they sound like idiots.

It will not end well for the Neocons (or the rest of us) if a hot war is started because the US suffers from gross incompetence and a brain dead populace.

  4. Lawfish April 13, 2018 at 9:47 am #

Double amen! I voted for the GGG because he wasn’t Hillary. As a devout deplorable, I wanted something other than the war party. But the GGG is just embarrassing. He’s such a crude, witless idiot who also happens to be a billionaire and the POTUS. He makes a bull in a China shop look tame.

    • JustSaying April 13, 2018 at 10:01 am #

I too deplore Hillary, but the GGG is unhinged!

It appears that the GOP will take a drubbing in the midterms so maybe the impeachment proceedings will allay the war effort. One can only hope.

      • Walter B April 13, 2018 at 12:28 pm #

Guys you have both just made the point that when the public is given two shitty choices a shitty result is the only possible outcome. Look at the bright side, at least the Golden Gonad of Greatness (no typo) is not sacrificing newborn to Moloch at the Bohemian Grove. Apparently this is all theater, just as Monday’s post pointing out Wag the Dog, a classic flick that tells it all exactly how it is. Keep it in mind that if I am correct, we all have another 8 years before either side gets serious enough to start Armageddon for real. By that time GGG and HRC should be dust and an entrance prepared for Ray Maebus or someone similar. Mark your calendars – 2026-2033. The Seven Year Bitch!

        • JustSaying April 13, 2018 at 1:23 pm #

You can tell Trump’s mental state by his hair! Looks pretty bad to me. I don’t think he will last much longer.

          https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/mattis-warns-trump-on-risks-of-escalating-us-involvement-in-syria/ar-AAvQxc5

        • My Point of View April 13, 2018 at 2:07 pm #

Speaking of shitty choices, the ancient Romans actually had Gods and Goddesses for various and sundry toilet-related matters.

Sewer Goddess Cloacina was protectoress of Rome’s sewage system. She taught us the 2 things all plumbers know to this day; shit flows downhill (from the rich to the poor, nothing changes) and payday is Friday. Early Roman ruler Titus Tatius (known as Tater Head to his buds) built a shrine to her in his very own marbled toilet; she was invoked if sewers became blocked up.

Then there’s Crepitus, God of flatulence, invoked if a person had diarrhea or constipation. The Romans managed to also win favor with the fragrant Stercutius, God of Dung, who was particularly important to farmers fertilizing fields with manure.

There we have it, full circle from antiquity to this very day. Our execrable POTUS, a God in his own mind, uses his twitter while sitting in his shitter to spray manure far and wide across countless acres of red state farm land for the drooling yahoos who elected his ignorant fat white ass to royally befoul the world.

Thus the GGG flings a shitstorm of crap to fertilize the loam from which our horn of plenty springs. The bounty of our fields being planted, plucked, picked, packed, piled into trucks and pushed out the door by all those nice brown people toiling for shit wages in our field of dreams. Yo, Pedro, look out, you’re about to step on a fresh brown steamer.

          God bless America.

    • outsider April 13, 2018 at 1:58 pm #

The GGG, as you call him, may be unhinged, but he was a least talked out of his proposed lump into the abyss. Would pig-headed Hillary have at least listened to reason? Remember, she campaigned on a No-Fly Zone over the skies of Syria – an act of war. If she had gotten her way, the bombs might have started flying long ago.

And this brinksmanship on Trump’s part is bad for everyone’s nerves, and I certainly don’t condone it. But, remember, he pulled the same number on “Rocket Man,” and now we are supposed to soon be sitting down at the table with the DPRK. Could Trump be thinking that this Crazy Man tactic could work on Putin?

      • JMR April 13, 2018 at 2:18 pm #

I was going to say the same thing. If HRC had been elected we probably would have been shooting down Russian jets and watching our aircraft carriers sink into the Med a year ago already.

The GGG may be unhinged, but so is HRC. At least so far the GGG is unhinged only in a blustery blow-hard kind of way and not in a murderous “we came, we saw, he died” kind of way.

        • Walter B April 13, 2018 at 9:55 pm #

  5. FincaInTheMountains April 13, 2018 at 9:54 am #

I really have a hard time understanding the current situation.

But no matter how little I understand, it’s still an order of magnitude greater than what the so-called experts understand. Yesterday watched Russian TV Solovyov talk show – compete horror! Seems like smart people, but spewing complete nonsense. Fierce anti-Trump propaganda, and if Hillary uses them in the dark as useful idiots, then taking into account their profession, it’s even worse than if she just bought them.

The agent can be flipped, the idiot can not!

It is almost impossible to make a sane analysis of changes in the military-strategic balance, including because the Americans, for reasons unknown to me, perceive the threat of war with Russia in a purely humorous tones.

So, I have already written many times that precisely because Western colored projects are much closer to each other than to Orthodox Russia, inner struggles tend to be much more fierce than the joint struggle against another civilization.

Since Cain and Abel, it is known that there is no greater hatred than hatred between brothers. In particular, it is clear that the Skripal case in London and the Syrian adventure are provocations of the Western Black Project against Trump, who started reforms that are throwing the Western Black Project back to March-April 1945, when Nazi Germany was already in ruins, and at the head of the power, rapidly turning into a nuclear monopoly, stood Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who at that time was more red than Joseph Stalin.

And if this is not taken into account, then the inevitable conclusion is that Donald Trump is crazy, as Soloviev’s experts demonstrated yesterday, and the first this thought was formulated by Hillary Clinton in order not to participate in the televised debate on foreign policy proposed by Donald Trump just after he won the Republican primaries.

Let’s consider for example yesterday’s tweet:

Our relationship with Russia is worse now than it has ever been, and that includes the Cold War. There is no reason for this. Russia needs us to help with their economy, something that would be very easy to do, and we need all nations to work together. Stop the arms race?

First of all, “worse now than it has ever been, and that includes the Cold War” means worse than during the Caribbean crisis, or again Trump is flying over the Cuckoo’s nest.

Secondly, in my opinion here with electronic black on electronic white it says that hostile actions towards Russia, in particular the previous tweet about new and smart missiles ready to fly to Damascus, are being undertaken under the pressure of a Black Project.

But tweet about helping the Russian economy means the principled consent of Trump to discuss the issue of compensation to Russia for the artistry of Hillary Clinton, which was an act of war, and such compensation is called reparations. And Putin’s press secretary Peskov’s statement that Russia “does not support Twitter diplomacy” means confirmation that the message that one should not pay attention to tweets about new and smart missiles ready to fly to Syria has been received and taken into consideration.

If anybody, Russia knows what is Donald Trump’s “Twitter-diplomacy”, which arose when the American media in early 2017 openly refused to bring to the American people the views of the president, in particular, the opinion about the need to have good relations with Russia and also the opinion that the Mueller’s investigation is in fact a McCarthyism and a witch hunt.

      • Walter B April 13, 2018 at 12:34 pm #

President Trump’s tweets are a lot more valuable than most people realize. The Main Slease Media promoting who knows who’s agenda, lies, propaganda and distractions is controlled by who? That’s right, nobody knows for sure do they? Mr. Trump’s lines are very probably penned by The Donald himself, and even though they may be set up by other hidden parties and agendas, at least we have a possibility of him screwing up and telling us something that THEY did not want us to hear. In fact, please listen to what he says, filter it out and store it for the next day or two and once you put it all together and clean it up, it tells a far better tale than the MSN ever does.

One day we are nuking Kimmy.
The next day we are nuking Russia.
In the end, nothing is happening – are you seeing the pattern here, because I certainly am.

    • FincaInTheMountains April 13, 2018 at 9:55 am #

And I understand all of the foregoing, what I do not understand why, for example, Mike Pompeo, who just talked with Russian Senator Naryshkin after successfully cleansing the CIA from the most malignant Clintonoids, “accidentally” revealed during his confirmation hearings in the Congress that about 200 Russians were killed by the US Army two weeks ago in eastern Syria, where the United States is based on an agreement with Russia to jointly fight ISIS.

Did he really not know about the campaign the Kremlin had undertaken in order to hide this fact from the still living Russians, and that today they would write about him in all Russian media and after that he becomes in Russia not just a persona non grata, but a leper, just about like Boris Johnson.

What an entry into the office!

What is it – the attempt to provoke a war and sabotage Trump after moving to the Clinton’s side?

And this is not the first such case – it is enough to recall Jeff Sessions, the head of the Department of Justice, who immediately after the appointment to the post handed Trump over to Clintonoids for dismembering him on the Mueller’s butcher table.

And who in Russia is interested in the fact that all this moves around Syria occurs during a frank coup d’état in the US, when Trump-Tower is set on fire and the above-mentioned Mueller in violation of his mandate to investigate the links between Trump’s election campaign and Russian intelligence, violates the US laws and raids the office of President’s private lawyer to collect records of Trump’s affair with a porn star a decade ago?

And Trump’s supporters openly demand that Mueller be fired, and some demand his arrest, since this coup can no longer be stopped without a state of emergency.

And the rats have already started fleeing the Clinton ship – for example, speaker Paul Ryan, whom Clinton has set to watch over the Republican faction in the Congress!
And it was clear to me two days ago that Trump was just buying some time with his hooligan tweets. But buying time for what – for Russia to bring a dozen more of its Bastions and SU-35 with Kinzhal missiles to Syria, or to mobilize his supporters and arrest Mueller?

And most importantly – is there in Russia still some media that does not work for Hillary Clinton for money or are her useful idiots, that is, they work for her for free?

      • JohnAZ April 13, 2018 at 10:17 am #

The answer to your ideas may be the divisive shenanigans of a third party goosing up the world situation trying to end the current world situation. Sound like someone you have met before? Who ultimately benefits from all this stuff going on? Not England, Not the US and definitely not Russia. I feel like a puppeteer is pulling the strings to just sow discord between the primary players. To what end? To restructure a New World Order, that end.

        • JohnAZ April 13, 2018 at 10:20 am #

The messenger of the discord sowing? Easy, our very obviously biased, globalist media, world wide. And who owns the media, literally in some cases, the globalist elites.

        • outsider April 13, 2018 at 2:15 pm #

Well said, JohnAZ. My thoughts exactly!

        • Farmer Joe April 13, 2018 at 3:14 pm #

Oh man, I was starting to think I’m the only one who sees this. I dont know if its a third party or the deep state or what, but I’m convinced someone wants to see a war between the USA and Russia. First the Russian collusion trope, then the Skripal poisoning, now the alleged attack against civilians in Syria (which the Russians aren’t being blamed for, but which keeps the USA involved in a proxy war against them.) What’s next, a suitcase nuke in Manhattan with, “From Russia, with love” written on the side? Those words alone woyld be proof enough for Rachel Maddow to get the Dems to toe the line.

      • Luhrenloup April 13, 2018 at 11:31 am #

You forgot . . . and now Trump is said to be reconsidering TPP!

  6. pequiste April 13, 2018 at 9:56 am #

In the same vein as the suggested STFU POTUS, let me mention making maximum mouths manifestly mute – Moron Moratorium Month.

” perhaps he might use it to suggest that the President of the United States just shut the fuck up for a while”

The mad hatter can’t be tamed. He is going to do what he is best at, fly off the handle in a tirade over twitter, fire someone on a whim, and then deny any culpability to the current situation.

Common Putin and Donald! Quit being pussies that are fucking around and get the party started already! I can guarantee neither side will win if it goes full ahead retard and we engage in an exchange. I hope you have KI pills if you happen to be outside the primary blast radius.

My biggest concern is how we did not learn from the shitfest in Iraq. Giving the powers to wage war to a single person is a horrible idea and should be illegal under the US Constitution, Article 1, Secion 8. You fucking pussies in congress don’t have the balls to stand up to a president and exert your check on the president for preventing him from using the military in an offensive way on the other side of the world.

Could be worst I guess. I think many of us would be dead by now if HRC had won.

    • outsider April 13, 2018 at 2:33 pm #

I really don’t think that one person alone, has the unilateral power to start an offensive war. The military, for one, has a lot to say about it, as it is their asses on the line, but they say it behind closed doors – as it should be. Mr. K started today’s essay by suggesting that “Mad Dog” may have talked Trump off the ledge (if, indeed, Trump was serious about jumping and taking the world with him). If Mattis told Trump that the military would rebel, then he cannot go forward. How many senior officers are really ready to start WWIII blindly following a blowhard chicken hawk, who managed to keep himself out of the Vietnam-era military based on imaginary bone spurs?

  8. JohnAZ April 13, 2018 at 10:06 am #

Who benefits from the anti-Russia campaign? If this is the action of old Cold Warmongers in the Deep State, they should be exposed and put down. If this is a continuation of a globalist war against nationalistic countries, that needs to be exposed, England, the US and Russia, how to start up a conflict that will destroy these world leaders. Get them to fight each other! The residuals in the Deep State that favor the globalists seem to be some of the people pushing the anti-Russia program. Yes, Trump should moderate his rhetoric re. Assad but the enemies of Trump maybe one and the same as the enemies of Russia in this country. The idea that they maybe encouraged and funded by globalist forces is not difficult to conceive in light of the globalist’s history.

      https://consortiumnews.com/2018/04/11/americas-unlimited-imperialists/

Since America’s instigation of the Spanish-American War in 1898, U.S. foreign policy decision-making has been alternatively conducted by reactionary imperialists, conservative imperialists, and liberal imperialists for the past 120 years and counting.

Since September 11, 2001, it is the Unlimited Imperialists along the lines of Alexander, Rome, Napoleon, and Hitler who have been in charge of conducting American foreign policy decision-making. The factual circumstances surrounding the outbreaks of both the First World War and the Second World War currently hover like twin Swords of Damocles over the heads of all humanity.

  9. venuspluto67 April 13, 2018 at 10:22 am #

For all the times I vehemently disagree with you, just as often you manage to echo exactly what I’m thinking about something. Assad is not a nice guy, but if you’re going to hold a Middle Eastern country the size of Syria together, especially in the face of a foreign-sponsored violent destabilization campaign, you can’t afford to be a nice guy. Assad’s regime remains the legitimate government of Syria, and the Russians are there at this regime’s invitation to help deal with the instability that has ended and ruined the lives of so many ordinary Syrians. Besides, bad things happen in the world all the time, and we don’t threaten possible World War 3 over those things, so why this?

    • Janos Skorenzy April 13, 2018 at 2:20 pm #

Yes, well said. “Nice Guyism” is a disease that allows the real monsters like Hillary to get in power. Morality is simply a weapon to these people. We took America by force and fraud just like the Jews took Palestine. What, are we going to give it back or something? Are they? Maybe the Cuck Canadians will give back their part, since they are being shamed out of existence, just as the Left is trying to do to White America.

And is anyone going to give Whites back the Lands that have been taken from us by Force? No, I don’t think so either. Get off your high horses and come down to Earth with the rest of us. Or get out.

    • SpeedyBB April 15, 2018 at 4:39 am #

VP67, your comments resonate. I often made the same observation about the detestable Saddam Hussein, the author of much slaughter. Nevertheless. Baghdad was safe and prosperous, women could walk the streets in safety (unless they were unfortunate enough to be kidnapped by those naughty sons), many women were professionals and life went on – as it has never done since the Dubya invasion.

Saddam and the Ba’ath Party extinguished the jihadists and maintained order within his country. Probably the only way that the Iraqis would accept: through official terror. judiciously applied.

Of course his enmity with Israel, coupled with the delicious aromas wafting from his oil fields, were his downfall.

The Repugs have no shame. Or memory. ‘Mission Accomplished’! Poor broken Iraq.

We elected Donald Trump, not exactly an unknown quantity, for Christ sake, deal with it. Help if you can, shut the hell up if you can’t. The Russians demonstrated the last time the fleet gathered to slam Syria that they can indeed shoot down missiles with a new whut’sit. Did our side take notes? Who knows? The brass seem delusional.

Hmmm, the only two people who were capable of running for the most powerful office on the planet turned out to be Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton! What kind of choice is that? Like Jimmy Carter said, there is no democracy in America!

HRC was the master of back room politics, the fix was in.

Trump was a revolutionary. He funded his own campaign against the Deep State on both sides of the aisle in Washington. The victims of his populism were the big names in the Deep State and they will never forgive him. All you anti-Trumpers out there, and you seem to be spreading, remember that a public, sick of the stupidity in DC elected THE alternative, period.

I’ve been supportive of Trump in the past, but what kind of idiot tweets?:

“Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and ‘smart!’” Trump wrote. “You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!”

Even if Assad committed this act (and that’s highly doubtful), you don’t taunt Russia (a nuclear power) like it’s a New Jersey cement contractor. Furthermore, “Gas Killing Animal” is not a formal office requiring capitalization.

Some sources have suggested that this isn’t a legitimate Trump tweet. If little Barron has his daddy’s phone and is goofing on Russia – it’s even worse than we suspected.

    • Georges1202 April 13, 2018 at 10:43 am #

Reminds me of the Good ‘Ol Days when arch-moron Ron Reagan was horsing around before a Saturday address and said something like “I have outlawed the Soviet Union – bombing commences in 10 minutes’ causing the Russian to understandably go to Defcon 1

Any chance we can get an adult to run this circus?

      • hmuller April 13, 2018 at 10:49 am #

Reagan was testing sound levels on the mike when he spoke those words, never intending they would be replayed for the public. On the other hand, Trump’s tweet was very intentionally public and thus a far worse faux pas IMHO.

        • Georges1202 April 13, 2018 at 10:51 am #

No excuse – that was the Cold War. Heads of state should find better material to joke about.

    • Eoin April 13, 2018 at 12:52 pm #

“you don’t taunt Russia (a nuclear power) like it’s a New Jersey cement contractor.”

      @hmuller:
      That’s pretty good !
At first glance, I too was concerned about that tweet. By the end of the day, I was thinking more along the lines of POTUS tipping his hand, in one of the only ways that he could get away with it. So what if people think that he’s nuts? Many already think that anyway !
Also, I thought back to the Federalist Papers, and wondered; is this communication a la “Publius” only in the computer age ? Likewise with the “Q” character. Certainly does reach more people that conventional media.
Speaking of little Barron, my son showed me a You Tube video that was narrated by a cute little talking cat. The cat told a detailed story about the connection between a nineteenth century child’s novel titled “Little Barron Trump”, Nikola Tesla, his life, and demise. Central to the story, is the fact that Donald Trump’s uncle was the receiver of the contents of Tesla’s office post mortem, and that subsequent family manipulation and use of Tesla’s time bending knowledge resulted in little Barron Trump, und der Donald, being one and the same person. Sorry, but I don’t have a link, but it truly is not a waste of time.
Maybe truth IS stranger than fiction.

      • hmuller April 13, 2018 at 2:02 pm #

Eoin. Yes, I’m familiar with the Tesla connection, the Little Barron Trump story, the Q releases; and I’m not sure what to think. It would all provide the material for a great novel, but what is the truth?

One week ago, David Seaman was uncorking champagne bottles, claiming he had seen the indictment for the arrest of a very prominent player. We’re still waiting for that Perp walk. Yet, 25,000 sealed federal indictments are a fact, not someone’s crazy theory. Someday, they must be unsealed. To some it may look like a martial law coup by Trump and company. But I look forward with hope to the day the globalists deep staters are rounded up, caged, and executed.

I’ll keep an open mind; consider everything; believe nothing until it happens. Let’s take back America!

One cannot seriously expect a raging narcissist textbook Psychopath like Cheeto-head-in-chief to be discreet or circumspect at any time. Cheeto-head-in-chief is a spoiled brat child that was never forced to behave in a socially responsible manner. Cheeto is a petulant spoiled brat at the top of the food chain in DC. He is a worldwide embarrassment to responsible governance the world over, and counselling him to censor his narcissistic drunken meanderings & ad hominem knee-jerk vitriol is nonsensical in so far as he has never curbed his childishness since his parents indulged his ego at a cost to his social development, and that of the USA.

The term ‘drunken meanderings’ denotes style of discourse & speech and is not meant as a literal term that denotes alcohol consumption. Frankly, Cheeto’s mood swings likely stem from chronic Cocaine addiction and Clinical Depression.

The United States of America is merely a corporation, Janos.
Cybernetic Theory of an open market global economic system indicates that open systems cybernetics are fair systems if one part of that system does not attempt to unfairly take advantage of the entire system through dictatorial monopoly influence via currency bias, or Reserve Currency status. Closed-looped systems cybernetics run down over time due to biased control over information flow in and out of the information loop. The USA does not have special status in Information Theory, or Cybernetic Theory. Monopoly is a closed-looped system that has a shelf life. Free Market Capitalism is not monopoly capitalism, Janos.

The Revolution is an information revolution of information bits. Closed-looped systems like the USA destroy information by controlling & limiting disclosure of information bits into closed-looped & open-looped systems at biased rates, and times. Global Finance requires fair information access at free market rates whereby information is equally distributed and not selectively distributed. In brief, top-down hierarchical control further destroys cybernetic openness.

America is just ‘Merica in and out of the loop.

The WWI British and German soldiers who played football with one another in the Christmas truce understood your country could be at war without you hating the poor sap on the other side whose job was just the same as yours.

          • Janos Skorenzy April 13, 2018 at 6:41 pm #

Exactly. The British and the Germans are closely related – that why Hitler so desperately wanted peace. But your beloved Warmonger Winnie wouldn’t have it. Herr Hesse gambled everything in the 11th hour, flying to Scotland to try to save something of Western Civilization. But Winnie just chortled.

Hitler warned them they would lose their Empire if they fought Germany again. FDR demanded reparations for all the blood and treasure America had lost – even though Britain hadn’t bee allowed to defend its holdings in South East Asia during the War.

Even Winnie was horrified as England began to bring in replacement for its own people, dark skinned “workers” who simply weren’t required and would never leave whether there was work or not. But the poor vicious fool was just shouldered aside by his masters in favor of more pliable dupes.

You may wish to remind yourself that Hitler had nothing to do with Hess flying to Scotland – when he heard about it he was incandescent with rage. To say he did everything to blacken Hess’ reputation would be a massive understatement. Where do you get such rubbish from?

Again Janos, outlawing anything only creates income streams for lawyers and does not stop whatever the law was supposed to prevent. It is always wise to eliminate hate within your spirit, for hate destroys from within as well as from without. It is far less destructive, disabling, and debilitating to really not like somebody if you understand where I am going with this. Ryan is a sellout scumbag and if we never have to look at his Eddie Munster face again, all will be well. I’m not going to hate the little clown, heck it might not even be his fault that he is a career criminal, perhaps Mommy did not give him enough attention as a baby.

As far as the Christmas truce goes, I recently read a really detailed and excellent account of that from an author that researched the subject thoroughly. The English government not only covered it up and denied it, but had the officer corps try to keep it from happening. Apparently the two combatant sides had already realized that they were being duped into senseless murder, not war for just cause. Can’t let THAT idea catch on or the Krupp’s and MIC will lose profits.

          • GreenAlba April 15, 2018 at 12:06 pm #

Quite so, Walter. The powers that be on both sides wanted to discourage ‘fraternity’.

            https://www.telegraph.co.uk/history/world-war-one/12058701/The-forgotten-Christmas-truce-the-British-tried-to-suppress.html

“Despite the strict orders of British *and German commanders* to the contrary, exactly the same thing occurred the following year.”

“The Germans, meanwhile… were told any fraternising with the enemy would result in execution.”

Sadly the famous truce came to an end when German snipers killed two British soldiers, which for some reason, you chose not to mention.

            https://www.telegraph.co.uk/history/world-war-one/11307513/Christmas-truce-of-1914-was-broken-when-German-snipers-killed-two-British-soldiers.html

Well, I say ‘for some reason’ – actually it’s not the first time I’ve noticed the same bias on this website.

Of course they had. And it didn’t take a Christmas truce for some of the cannon fodder on both sides to see that’s exactly what they were.

‘Droit du seigneur’ is pretty much a myth, but it’s obvious why it gained traction as a fantasy.

But you’ve lost me with your analogy.

I just thought it was ‘mean spirited’ to use your own terminology, to take an event that was spiritually uplifting on both sides, and use it to take pop at ‘the Englsh’ (of whom I’m not one anyway), when neither the British nor the German officer corps were happy for their men to be fraternising.

There hasn’t been an English government since 1707, BTW. Not being mean-spirited, just saying… 🙂

But you’re right, we’re all human.

          • Walter B April 15, 2018 at 8:23 pm #

No government since 1707? Well I will give you big points for that one. We lost our too for greed is a disease that consumes all that are afflicted with it. Perhaps I was misunderstood, because I dearly loved the tale of the Christmas Truce. For a man that wants nothing but peace, I have done so much study, research, and entertainment with the history of war that I confuse myself sometimes. WWI is IMHO the pivotal event in warfare when men finally stopped thinking of mass murder of each other as some kind of chivalrous game and saw it for the horror and evil that it is. It got real ugly and has only gotten worse.

The saddest part is that we, as a species have not been able to learn a single lesson from this egregious event. Many call WWI a “coming of age” or an “awakening”. I call it a damned pathetic lesson not learned and the Christmas Truce drives the lesson home so well.

And I’m just a bit feisty tonight my dear. Can’t be all spit and polish all the time, at least not me. Be well.

          • GreenAlba April 16, 2018 at 5:28 am #

Not ‘no government’ – just meant there hasn’t been an ‘English’ government but a ‘British’ one since then. Although we north of the border are used to everyone, including Europeans, referring to the whole package as ‘England’. So it was just a cheeky reminder, not ill willed 🙂 .

Although, by curious paradox, ’tis Brexit in its name that is now reminding everyone that the country is not ‘England’, perhaps especially since ’tis the English (and Welsh) that have voted us out as the UK, even those parts which wished to remain!

Re the Christmas Truce, I think it catches the public imagination everywhere because it showed up the utter idiocy of what men were made to do to other men who had far more in common with them than each had with those of their own country who made them do it and in whose interest it all was. (God, that was a tortuous sentence, but I’ll leave it be!).

Anyway, in the things that matter we are on the same side -most of the time. Be well also, fella 🙂 .

That sorry-assed gang of walking-dead no-accounts are not “allies” even by the loosest definition of the word, especially the absurd, carcass-states of the EU. You can’t call them client-states because in a patron-client relationship there’s a set of mutual obligations. So what obligations have these “allies” fulfilled? Aside, that is, from this expulsion of Russian diplomats or from the occasional nervous and unwilling ya, aye, si at the – cough – “United” Nations or symbolic participation in American military mis-adventures I don’t see much.

These “allies” can’t render aid, not without the US helping them render this same aid. In which case, why even bother? For example, could the UK and the various impotencies we call NATO have gone into Afghanistan without US logistical infrastructure and covering air-power?

Maybe you can call them military dependencies to the extent that they can count on American military help. But given the world-wide network of hugely expensive American military installations and the gutted and depleted American economy that underpins them, is this even a reasonable expectation for the future?

Could it be that the Douma affair was all an act, calculated to draw the US into yet another calamitous multi-trillion dollar armed incursion, one that finally flattens the US into drooling civilizational imbecility?

When you have a military establishment whose raison d’etre is to fight, who spends years training to do just that, what do you expect that their advice will be? To NOT fight? Don’t think so. They want to test themselves, to prove themselves. As sure as we sit here, they’ll perceive every fool’s errand as an opportunity to show their worth and they’ll have the intel “dream factory” hallucinating the requisite enemies. Remember Iraqi wmds?

But for now they need targets. What do they shoot at? Who do they kill? How do they come out of this not looking like knuckle-heads?

I was always under the impression that the Roman Empire spawned the British Empire and then she birthed our American Experiment. If I am correct then what we are witnessing is Grandpa in the attic (Vatican) and the old lady moving back in with her financially well to do son. Whadda ya think?

          • GreenAlba April 16, 2018 at 6:49 am #

Haha! I avoid Vatican conspiracies, as I avoid Jewish ones (but maybe you weren’t thinking conspiratorially…) but yes, the old lady moving back in with the well-to-do son (or trying to curry favour with him) does sound a bit like the situation.

I find it exasperating, which isn’t any reflection on our American cousins at all (and quite literally, I do have some over there) – it’s the desperation to please that gets my goat and it almost always manifests itself militarily, so we end up tied up in situations neither of us should be in and providing mutual backslapping confirmation that we should be there. In some ways it’s more like wanting to be friends with the big boy in the playground, just to be recognised as still mattering.

I don’t want to be recognised. I like a quiet life and don’t even ‘do’ Facebook 🙂 .

“Are Trump’s populist anti- Deep State efforts doomed?” –John AZ

You seem to be a true believer in Trump. He is not a populist. He lost the popular vote to Hillary Clinton by three million votes. He is only President of the United States due to his collusion with Russia, which makes him an illegitimate president who shall soon be removed from office.

Trump is part of the Deep State. He has chosen to surround himself with generals, FBI, and CIA guys. He appoints people who ran black site CIA torture prisons.

Trump really has you conned if you believe he is somehow battling the “Deep State.”

    • Georges1202 April 13, 2018 at 11:09 am #

Trump is far too shallow to be part of the Deep State. He is a Reality-TV comb-over who somehow convinced the dimmer bulbs in the US to install him in office.

Will the United States of Amnesia learn from this debacle?

      • capt spaulding April 13, 2018 at 11:17 am #

They didn’t learn after voting Bush & the Republicans in back in 2000. And that was after they almost destroyed the country by 2008. Eight years after that, here we are again, Republicans at the wheel, and no, Americans appear to be incapable of learning.

        • outsider April 13, 2018 at 3:08 pm #

They DID learn, capt. That’s why Hillary wasn’t elected – in spite of her winning the popular vote ONLY because of the millions of illegals voting in California. They can get drivers licenses, which automatically gets them registered to vote under Motor Voter. And no one checks if they claim to be citizens. Thank god for the wisdom of our Founding Fathers in establishing the Electoral College.

All Liberals are Traitors since they are fine with this. They must be disenfranchised. We will rule over them, as the Spartans did the Helots. Their daughters shall bear our children and their sons work in our fields.

Or better yet (though less overt fun), we must separate from them and create an America 2.0 while they revert to 3rd World savagery. They will flock to our door begging to be let in, but we shall deny them saying, I never knew you.

    • JohnAZ April 13, 2018 at 11:21 am #

He lost the popular vote to HRC because of an insane asylum called California. Thank God the Founding Fathers foresaw this possibility and created the Electoral College.

Every victim of Trump’s rise was and is a ranking member of the Deep State. They succeeded in watering down his impact by installing Deep Staters in many cabinet level and WH positions, which I am still scratching my head over. He is now trying to remove a bunch of these holdovers.

He is definitely NOT a member of the Deep State. The Deep States hates him like no one before him. A house divided!

I may not agree with a lot of his methods but I do agree with him that the bad guys in our society all have Washington, DC in their addresses.

Yet he keeps appointing some of the worst of them to his cabinet. He may have a Grand Vision but he has no vision about how to get there. There has to be some relationship between means and ends, the people appointed and where you want to go. If he can’t resist hiring “Winners”, then we’re aren’t going anywhere. Such “winners” are very content with exactly the way things are.

“Trump is far too shallow to be part of the Deep State.” –Georges1202

I would say Trump isn’t a victim of the deep state — he erected it. Trump hired Manafort to run his 2016 campaign, added Page to his panel of foreign policy advisors, made Flynn his national security adviser, and appointed Rosenstein to the position of deputy attorney general. He made each of these decisions while claiming that he would hire “the best people” to his administration.

Trump is not the victim of rogue intelligence and law enforcement agencies; he’s a victim of a “deep state” of his own making. Each new enemy was once a trusted ally — from Rosenstein to former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort to adviser Carter Page. They were all his guys, until they weren’t. Now they’re his — and his movement’s — enemies, and the Republican Party is ready to help him make it so.

I believe that Trump has been co-opted, and he has been convinced by these neo-con warmongers, that a small scale nuclear war against Russia or China is winnable and that we would be the surviving civilization. It might take 100 years, but we would survive albeit on a planet with a substantially smaller (and more manageable) population.

The times I have heard Trump talk about nuclear weapons and war he has displayed a naive and cavalier attitude about the use of these weapons as if he has never contemplated the full ramifications of their use.

We are not looking into a funhouse mirror. What you see is an accurate reflection of what we have become. A nation of carnivores fed by industrial animal husbandry that have their panties in a wad about animal cruelty.

There was a time when I was a residential framing contractor. There were developers who only felt they were successful if the subcontractors lost money or were deprived of their final draw. I explained it to them this way, “When you fuck with my money you’re are fucking with my children, if you do that I will FUCK YOU UP. When I get out of jail you will think back on your first ass whipping as a Sunday picknick.”

The United States has been this type of developer. The world is now a different subcontractor.

“He is definitely NOT a member of the Deep State.” — John AZ

Trump is worse than the Deep State. The Deep State CIA kidnaps, imprisons, and tortures. Trump wants to bring back waterboarding and approves of even more severe torture. Drug dealers? The FBI wants them behind bars. Trump wants them to have the death penalty. Terrorists? Trump wants to not only kill the terrorists, but their entire families. The Deep State is a civilizing influence on the barbarian that is Trump. Is that name calling, or just a simple description of an immoral rogue actor with no ethical values?

This is the guy the deplorables voted for:

“We’re fighting a very politically correct war. And the other thing with the terrorists — you have to take out their families. When you get these terrorists, you have to take out their families! They care about their lives, don’t kid yourselves. They say they don’t care about their lives. But you have to take out their families.” –Donald J. Trump

Eva Bartlett appears to be the go-to woman for reliable info about Syria and Syrians.

    She has a blog:

    https://ingaza.wordpress.com/

The poison gas attack is turning out to be total false flag making Eva a good source to say who the bad guys are.

This is now on her blog:

Gazdiev: “It was the Syrian SAMS–the Syrian American Medical Society–that initially claimed that they had treated 500 people with with symptoms indicative of exposure to a chemical agent.

… Well what is this organization exactly? Well, it is it is an organization that is funded by the United States….In 2013 they had a budget of $700,000, 2015 they had a budget of $6 million–you know almost a tenfold increase. Most of that money, $5.8 million, came from USAID, which is an organization that is closely tied to the State Department which is banned in multiple countries because of interference in domestic politics, because of what is seen as its as its drive for regime change. It even has an office of transition initiatives which is you know exactly what is what is being called this this regime change office.

Nevertheless, their executive director and the director of operations of the Syrian American Medical Association are former US aid staffers.

Apparently, driving the Rebels out of East Ghouta was a big deal because Damascus was being shelled from there and with Ghouta secured life can get back to normal in Damascus. Whatever that means. Normal in Syria is relative to chaos, but with Damascus liberated from threat of being daily shelled, the effort of regime change is Syria suffers a Syrious setback.

The puppet-masters, getting a bit desperate, had new plans for destabilization in the works just when Trump opened his trap and said America was going to pull out of Syria. Trump must have uttered his verbal diarrhea just as the State Department was about to lay some new bullshit down to tweak out Assad’s ass since the American agenda is; regime change, and that has not been going so well.

Assad has been winning with Russia’s help. The State Department needed to do something and for obvious reasons Trump in not in the regime change ‘loop’, hence a comedy of errors, where the operation of the dog wagging machine for a moment, became very obvious.

Apparently ordering a propaganda pizza with poison gas and all the extra toppings used to be a lot easier at the State Department before Trump came along. But with Bolton coming on the scene and getting everybody’s blood pressure up and with real fears that Trump might just trip over his mouth in the oval office and fall down on the nuclear button, people are getting a bit suspicious of all the beltway bullshit.

    I hope so anyway.

Biggest task force since Iraq on course for Syria

US-led strikes against Assad expected in days. Britain will join action as cabinet backs May.

The largest US air and naval strike force since the 2003 Iraq war was heading towards Syria last night as Theresa May won the backing of the cabinet to join in military action.

President Macron said that France had proof that the Syrian regime, which is supported by Russia and Iran, carried out the chemical strike on the rebel-held town of Douma, near Damascus, last Saturday.

    https://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/news/biggest-task-force-since-iraq-on-course-for-syria-bpjn699bt?utm_source=newsletter&utm_campaign=newsletter_101&utm_medium=email&utm_content=101_Mailing%20Name%20(95)%20(1)&CMP=TNLEmail_118918_3150832_101

Elitism is running rampant in all of this. The GOP is rapidly splitting apart with Trump as the catalyst. The Dems will do the same as the HRC Sanders schism widens. Can you imagine:

They are foolish enough to constantly get and stay hung up in the Trump sucks/Trump is great – Hillary sucks/Hillary is great Neverland. It looks to me like far too many Americans cannot think and comprehend how they are being played for fools and are able to only operate in the love/hate, left/right paradigm. I love this place because our host has seen the light as have many of us, that the real world boils down to not the left verses the right, but the greedy verses the naïve (and sometimes stupid). We are asking people to think far too much, heck they are barely able to steer their internal combustion engines down the highway and keep them between the yellow and the white lines. We are certainly guilty of over estimating their abilities.

You mentioned JHK, I remember in TLE, that he identified apathy and denial as the largest enemy of required remedial action. Absolutely.

Israel is very strict about allowing any Israeli volunteers or mercenaries into Syria. Even the Israeli Druze who saw their brothers massacred in South Syria by the Daesh were forbidden to get involved under heavy penalty. The Druze in Syria are loyal to the Assad government. To protect the Druze in Syria, Israel worked out a deal to treat Daesh wounded in exchange for Daesh leaving the Druze alone.

So good to see the majority of CFNers finally admitting how worthless Trump is!

And yeah, Hillary might have been even worse…

And the majority of CFNers should be grateful for what Trump’s campaign and election has given them. Much more Light on the Darkness of our politics.

On the Big Three issues: God, Guns, and Gays, he’s good on the first two at least.

You have to wonder which parts of ‘God’ he buys into. Certainly not the sacred wedding vows bit.

Guns, well, yes, obviously. That’s an easy one. A gun in your hand makes you feel like a man when the fickle public just won’t let those bone-spur memories go away (until you’ve *actually* as opposed to in your fantasies, run unarmed into a school mid-rifle-assault, that is – that might cancel out the memory).

As for gays, he’s probably better at least holding fire till after Barron’s though puberty, lest he should need to backtrack later like those other Repubs who found out that the Angel of Gayness doesn’t give your family a wide berth, Passover-style, just because you’re a gobby anti-gay bigot.

“After Newt gave an interview in 2013 saying that conservatives need to reconsider their position on same-sex marriage, Candice praised his evolving opinion on LGBT issues, hoping that the rest of the GOP follows his lead and thinks progressively on LGBT issues.”

“Mary Cheney has been cited as one of the reasons her conservative father changed his stance on gay marriage… eventually. ”

Gingrich and Cheney!!!!! To their credit, even THEY were prepared to dump the bigotry when their anti-gay gobby-ness came right home to roost.

The USA suffers from having a FAKE government. Revolution by “we the people” should’ve occurred long ago. The reason it hasn’t is due to our FAKE government and FAKE mainstream media pumping out the “patriotic” propaganda (keeping the public filled with BS and perennially in the dark) which happens to be composed of false and misleading information. And this is all reinforced and perpetuated by our FAKE “intelligence” and “law enforcement” agencies. Our country is controlled and run by sociopaths and criminals. Welcome to Planet Earth. Woe is us.

  40. tucsonspur April 13, 2018 at 4:37 pm #

Yes, it did seem that the mushroom clouds would replace spring flowers, substituting incineration or deadly radiation for sneezing fits and nose blowing.

“It would be — how you say? — ‘bad optics’.”

Right. Optics are what you find in laser or physics labs, or on telescopes, cameras, or rifles. Although short and sweet, the words are at least a mild form of verbal aberration with an associated astigmatism.

Speaking of words, how about “bad actors”? Will these be the recipients of the Golden Raspberry Awards? Those who don’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of an Academy? Yes, but apparently there are other no-talent Thespians.

I guess the Evil Ones could be considered actors on the world’s stage, as we all could, evil or not. Taking one of the more currently distasteful villains, “Gas Killer” Assad, calling him a “bad actor” seems to verify that the world IS merely a stage, upon which our reality becomes a play. It is simultaneously euphemistic and perversely prosaic.

I must now break out my Playbook and enliven the current actors, both good and bad, in this High Drama of Low Morals.

I read the OPCW report, albeit quickly, last time we had this, in July last year.

    http://hitchensblog.mailonsunday.co.uk/2017/07/who-gassed-whom-in-syria-we-dont-know-please-dont-be-rushed-into-war.html

It is a vague and wholly unsatisfactory document which proves nothing. Someone may have gassed someone and may not, and if so who? How was it delivered? Where was the ‘chain of custody’? Why did the local hospital close some days before it happened, forcing the casualties to be treated in hospitals and clinics elsewhere and had already been discharged from them by the time investigators came to question them, or were unable to talk?

The other day I saw television footage of high explosives. Well, you can’t deliver gas like that, it needs to be soft and gentle. It reminds of those awful series they used to show in the late 70s Car chase and a car hurtles off the road and down into a deep ravine, where it explodes in a ball of flame BEFORE it hits the bottom.

Seymour Hersh wrote about Turkish involvement in an earlier attack still, convincingly I though. Remember that one? He is gassing his own people! In those days talk was all about the uniquely awful ‘barrel bombs’, whatever they were. MPs delivered Churchillian oratory in the House of Commons. Labour Shadow Foreign Secretary Hilary Benn was widely acclaimed for his ‘masterful’ speech.

Trump. I don’t bother with the media, don’t have the time, but I suspect his critics, who wail about his more sensible policies, such as limiting immigration, are not so critical of his emotional reaction here. Hitchens in a recent article on his Mail on Sunday blog: The Guardian Becomes The Warmonger’s Gazette. Trump’s reaction is all emotion, as is theirs, and they are all being manipulated.

When the latest nonsense broke I was just going into the shower (I take mine in the evening) when my wife called in through the bathroom door to say that Assad was a butcher. I tried to explain that it was most likely a set-up. What has got into you recently? You never were so hard hearted. (I was if anything worse.)

The same thing happened when they showed the picture of the drowned Kurdish little boy in September 2015. I had just joined Facebook (I left it last month) and in an amazingly quick (two? three days?) wave of hysteria (Let them in!!!) Merkel made her fateful decision. Two Irish newspapers that weekend had major opinion pieces with practically the same title: Sometimes The Heart Has To Rule The Head. As I wrote yesterday or the day before most people find this hard to accept. Trump is acting because of the Deep State. Merkel’s was a shrewd move to get badly needed labour for Germany’s booming industrial machine. This is no more than rationalization.

“It will surprise some readers to know that a number of Forrest’s soldiers were black. In his after action report on the Battle of Murfreesboro, U.S. Lieutenant Colonel John G. Parkhurst reported that he was attacked by Wharton’s regiment, Morrison’s First Georgia, and a large number of Rutherford County civilians. He wrote: “There were also quite a number of negroes attached to the Texas and Georgia troops, who were armed and equipped, and took part in several engagements with my forces during the day.” According to an African-American who fought with Forrest at Shiloh and Brice’s Cross Roads, seven blacks were in the Escort Company. There were also quite a few non-white non-combatants in Forrest’s cavalry. He took forty-three slaves with him when he went to war. He made a deal with them. If the South won, he would set them free at the end of the war. If the South lost, they would be free anyway. Only one of these men deserted. “Those boys stuck with me,” he recalled. “Better Confederates never lived.”

Inspiring. Blacks only attain unto their best selves when serving Whites. The higher Race tends to draw lower Races up. Of course most people will interpret it in the opposite way: See how great Blacks are! Of course they should be free! Why just wait, they’ll surpass Whites if just given a fair shake.

But we tried all that and it worked out just as the Old South said it would. They just acted out their worse impulses – which are abundant, as the Black Man has a stronger lower nature than Whites.

Or let’s go with your premise. The brain is just a muscle. And consciousness just an epiphenomena of matter – like the fizz is of the beer. Blacks often have better bodies below the neck, at least for most sports. But Whites have better bodies above the neck, namely their brains.

I remember you admitted Slavic Whites seem to be the strongest men in the world. I appreciated that. I certainly admit he obvious: that West African Blacks or their New World descendants are by far the fastest. And the East African Kalenjin people – or their relatives scattered throughout mountainous East Africa, are the best distance runners. East Asians? Maybe the quickest reflexes as in ping pong or martial arts? Not sure. Their action movies seem a bit faster than ours if that’s any indication. Good gymnasts of course, but good gymnasts seem to come from each of the races.

Physical, mental, emotional characteristics are a combination of genetics and environment. An important finding happened this last year, the Scott and Mark Kelly space comparison. Net result exposure to space changed the genetics of Scott so that he was no longer the identical twin of Mark. So environment modifies genetics inside a single generation. Two things form the shape or color or mental prowess of a specie. First is the environment, the second is whatever the opposite sex, mostly female, thinks is attractive.

So think what about a Founding environment may form in characteristics. Millennia in the African Veldt may create a subspecie that is dark for protection from the sun, fast and lithe, with mental aptitude aimed at a hunter gatherer level. Asiatic folks became what they are by exposure to the environment of Asia, caucasians migrated to Europe during the ice age, became primarily meat eaters, developed different mental processing as a consequence, The important thing here is the basic subspecie developed in a certain environment and has genetic characteristics accordingly.

Now, take the last 5000 years where people have been mixing it up regularly, or look at the USA which has been mixing it up like crazy for the last 200 years. The characteristics become all mixed up, and diluted. The fact that significant change can occur in a single generation shows that continuing constant environment and interbreeding between the subspecies will eventually create an American, or Russian or Asian and the old races will fade away. Just look around at the diversity of what a Black person is, or a White person. There is such a wide spread of diverse characteristics that definition of White, Black, Asian, Latino is becoming more and more difficult. So belly up to the bar boys, we are all in this together and our differences are shrinking.

The “O” in type O blood stands for “Original.” That means if you have type “O” blood, you are a descendent of Adam and Eve. Any other blood type means you are mixed with the blood of the snake Eve had sex with in the Garden of Eden.

Staged NATO Missile Attack in Response to Staged Chemical Attack

The General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces presented its statistics – 103 missiles were fired – 71 of them were shot down by Syrian old Soviet S-200 system (1970s).

The rest 32 missiles hit the empty Army barracks which were immediately declared “Chemical Weapons Production facilities”.

ALL British/French “Storm Shadows” missiles were knocked down.

Syrian operator of S-200 system sends his greetings to our European and American partners:

    https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DatwHwFX0AAzV-9.jpg

Lots of various rumors flying everywhere, in particular:

Rumors in Iranian media claim that Israel has convinced Russia to force IRGC Quds & Fatemiyun forces to leave Syria in exchange for convincing US to carry-out No cruise missile attack or at-least carry-out a symbolic airstrike against Syrian empty military bases.

    https://twitter.com/BabakTaghvaee/status/984848722407383042

Additional rumors include info that Russia to receive a substantial “compensation” for staying put, quite possibly in form of higher oil prices – expect over $100/barrel.

If last time, a year ago, such fixed fight worked, why not repeat it? Even in a far more farcical form.

“The lesson the neo-cons learnt from the Iraq war is not that it was disastrous. It was only disastrous for the dead and maimed Iraqis, our own dead and maimed servicemen, and those whose country was returned to medievalism. It was a great success for the neo-cons, they made loads of money on armaments and oil. The lesson the neo-cons learned was not to give the public in the West any time to mount and organise opposition. Hence the destruction of Libya was predicated on an entirely false “we have 48 hours to prevent the massacre of the population of Benghazi” narrative. Similarly this latest orchestrated “crisis” is being followed through into military action at a blistering pace, as the four horsemen sweep by, scything down reason and justice on the way.” — Craig Murray

“The timing of the American-British-French attack is noteworthy. It came just hours before the UN’s Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) experts were set to visit the Damascus suburb of Douma on Saturday to establish whether chemical weapons had been used there last week.

Announcing the strikes, the White House said it has a large body of “reliable intelligence” as well as “social media users, non-governmental organizations, and other open-source outlets,” which implicate the Syrian government in the alleged Douma attack. Washington also referred to the questionable claims that “the Syrian regime has repeatedly used chemical weapons to compensate for its lack of military manpower.” — from RT

Like its propaganda organ in Hollywood, the [obviously not-too-bright] demagogues in the “think tanks” have run out of original narratives of convincing fiction and have simply pulled dog-eared scripts off the shelf and ordered their production company (the US military) to put together another weak stinker with a threadbare premise.

When the lever-pullers don’t want something done, they have their venal puppets in CON-gress “look forward” to it, or the other stonewalling technique, “study” it.

When they want something done, there doesn’t seem to be any time for study or critical thinking. Funny that.

Look for the bullshittery in the code words; the people in this country are so easily conned! It should be a requirement that we find out why that is and correct that before a government of actual representation is built. (The one currently in charge is busy deconstructing any credibility it ever had and will not prevail; only the timing is debatable. The death throes will not be pretty, and screen-starers with zero skills or ability to think for themselves will bear the label, “Victim”. “Lucky” for everybody else, depending on one’s perspective.)

Get them graphics up; let’s see that war porn! (Targets are carefully selected to avoid civilian casualties, and set back the regimes ability to continue developing chemical weapons.)

      All weapons hit their targets

If history is any guide, and it usually is, my bet is that the Russians were told what the targets were and when the projectiles would rain down so as to not hit Russian – cough – advisors. Maybe that goes for the Iranians too.

Now, I don’t know about the Iranians but the Russians are fairly predictable. For example, they tend to make it a point to send hit men to knock off anyone betraying the home country, you know, like double agents, or anyone pissing off Tsar Vladimir, no matter where they’re taking refuge (ie Britain).

But not only that, you can count on them to tell the Syrians where the hits are coming like the last time when dozens of US cruise missiles rained down on an empty Syrian airbase.

Now, we can expect over the next hours and days to be fed via purported cell phone videos smoking holes in the ground, buildings reduced to rubble, the results of tri-country retaliation for Syrian chemical use.

Shock and awe? We’ll see but if I was a betting man I would bet that damage is minimal and loss of life restricted to those the Syrians and Russians and Iranians want to get rid of.

Regardless, howls of outrage will echo over the waters, Tehran will be filled with mobs chanting Death to Amrika, shapely blond spokeschicks for the Russian foreign ministry will mount the stage and deplore with prepared scripts, Sergei Lavrov and his man at the UN Nebenzya will shake their jowls.

This is all a long way of saying that what we’re getting is theater, a choreography of the absurd, the Dance of the Nitwits (us).

But, despite declarations to the contrary, the war ain’t over and there’s still Turkey’s fight with the Kurds.

What should have happened after the collapse of the Turkish Empire is for the former territories to slug it out among themselves and redraw their national boundaries. But in part thanks to the Brits and the French and thanks to local lassitude, this never happened. Until now that is. A hundred years too late but better late than never.

Per Mr Spock, diplomacy is the means of prolonging a crisis. So give war a chance and this may yet get settled and hopefully with the US keeping its clammy fist out of it. But it won’t happen any time soon.

If you weren’t so self-congratulatory and ignorant, I could point you to about 3,000 Russian websites and russian journalists who are specializing on pouring dirt on Putin every day of the year for the last 10 years.

Here’s one of them – the journalist lives in Moscow

      https://el-murid.livejournal.com/

What is amazing, his site is much more popular than most of well-known American sites. Here is Alexa chart:

I’ll steer clear of the discussion regarding Vlad, but this part was noteworthy:

“What should have happened after the collapse of the Turkish Empire is for the former territories to slug it out among themselves and redraw their national boundaries”

Although they probably still would be ‘slugging it out’ how different the world might have been for the rest of us.

Reminds me of the old bathroom wall scrawl from my college days:

      “The world wouldn’t be,
      in such a snarl,
      If Marx had been Groucho,
      instead of Karl”

And that might be the biggest “What If? ” of our time!

Yeah, entirely possible they’d still be slugging it out. No matter, as you say the world would sure be different.

And for the last three millennia or so the area has had to periodically contend with an expansionist Iran. Which gosh golly is what we’re seeing again. The more things change…

But the main point is that the locals can’t blame anyone but themselves.

I know what you’re going to say, the perfidious Jew.

From now until the end of time, Israel’s presence will be the excuse. No matter what outrage we’re talking about, whether it’s bureaucratic ineptitude of governmental pilfering or poverty or hunger or the lack of schools or medical care, the finger will get pointed to the beady-eyed Jew scheming in his ornate digs, pulling that string, offering his money and corrupting even the most honest and pious man who just wants to pray in the manner of his ancestors and to be left alone to earn his humble crust. But that won’t be possible, will it.

Let’s be honest. There’s only so much a real man can put up with. It’s not just Jewish money and machinations, it’s that infuriating blue and white banner flying from those hill-tops mocking the righteous.

The way the game seems to be played today, the threats go back and forth, the lines are quickly drawn and then crossed, and then it all starts over again. Why is it that all the anti-Russia types really hate it when the government fights back against strategic inroads by the Russians? All this data about how ineffectual the raids were is hogwash propaganda at this point. The other side would not be bitching so much if the raids had not hit their mark. The idea that antiballistic missiles knocked down 70% of the incoming missiles is ludicrous. Cruise missiles hug the ground as they run their course, the required reaction time by an anti battery is too fast to be effective.

More important is our reaction to a classic thumbing of the nose by Assad with the chemical weapons. How many insults should the West take before stopping the BS? Kudos to a soon to be proven well aimed minimum collateral damage raid. It must infuriate the other side that we can operate in remote control as much as we do. Maybe that is why Russia is working on its hypersonic missiles.

We don’t know yet how accurate the missiles were. The last missile attack was a waste of time. It will be a while before the truth becomes available to us. I’ll be interested to know if any SAM units were targeted, and if not, why not. That would send a much more serious msg to Assad that the next such incident will invite coalition warplanes from Cypress.

      • elysianfield April 14, 2018 at 1:32 pm #

” I’ll be interested to know if any SAM units were targeted, and if not, why not. ”

        Mofo,
If the SAM units were not targeted, it might be because it was unnecessary to do so…they did not pose a threat?

        • akmofo April 14, 2018 at 2:19 pm #

Then why use expensive missiles when you could do a much better job with warplanes. Maybe they used the missiles to light up the SAMs.

            Mofo,
You know that the most expensive thing you can spill is blood…(Every man a Prince?).

You should’ve left it alone with the first sentence, with which btw I totally agree.

As far as conflating that with political capital, Trump taking out Assad and friends, only adds to his political capital. It restores US credibility in the region and around the world. It puts China and Fatboy on notice. That translates to enonomic concessions, which translates to economic growth, which translates to votes in the ballot booth, which translates to real political capital, vs the capricious emotional mood swings of some of the depressives here that are habitual eaters of Soviet propaganda shit fished in Soviet internet propaganda dumpsters.

This whole gas attack business feels contrived to me. It’s not that false flags have never happened before (the USS Maine, the Gulf of Tonkin, etc.). I don’t trust the US media at all, so I totally discount their versions of what actually happened. All these back and forth arguments as to this occurrence only serve to confuse the public, as intentioned. Obviously, something deeper is at play here.

I used to think our foreign policy was all about control of the world’s oil supply, but now I’m thinking it’s about control of the world, period, although the oil supply is a factor. I can’t help but think TPTB are just afraid. Of what? The future. TPTB aren’t stupid, they realize rapid change is coming which will transform the world. And they’re doing what any powerless person would do: grasping for control in order to feel secure. That is the deepest reason for their actions.

The gas attack either happened or it did not. Proceeding from that fact and knowing it can’t be both ways, is it really that hard to figure out?

Why were the lights on in the video which showed the children being treated for gas in a surprisingly well equipped gas treatment facility right next to where the gas attack happened only moments before?

You have control of power generation and you keep the lights on for your enemies so the little field hospital will have power? You gives advance notice so you can have a gas treatment facility ready to go for treating innocent civilians within walking distance? Is Assad a dummy?

Whenever conquest of a neighborhood is certain with victory imminent and your enemy is vanquished with survivors being bussed away to the north in retreat; always preform an atrocity to inflame the rest of the world and taint your victory lest it be perfect. – Sun Tzu (The Art of War)

I disagree, Walter. There is obviously truth, even if we don’t ever get to see it.

I don’t care whether it’s the British who are lying or the Russians who are lying – I prefer to know the truth. It may be that neither is lying and there’s a third party with both interest and capacity…now who might that be??

That’s why I’m not speculating, because it’s pretty pointless.

In some ways I’d quite like it to be the British. How to shut Boris Johnson up for good and make the Tories a noxious brand for a generation. Sounds good to me… It might even get Corbyn elected.

Yes, of course there is truth, but my real point was that they are not going to let us see it when convenient lies will make us dance to the tunes which they call. If any of we regular citizens attempted to use pathetic, unprovable excuses to justify our bad or illegal actions we would all be sitting in the can, wouldn’t we?

Totally with you there, Walter. The exasperation of knowing we almost never know the real truth is a killer. And if it comes out 30 years down the line when state secrets do, I’ll be already gone, sadly!

Probably even the truths we think we are gleaning from the lies aren’t the whole truth either.

American Deep State is not something new – at least it existed since the Truman-Dulles anti-Roosevelt, anti-Yalta coup in April of 1945, when Dulles in Switzerland signed a separate peace with the Nazi Germany, in particular with Martin Bormann and chef of SS Henry Himmler.

I am quite certain that all that time the Deep State was infiltrated by the Nazi political ideology and by mystic, quasi-religious beliefs of the Thule society – and yes, it includes blood sacrifice of the innocent Christian children – in short what I call the Western Black Project.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thule_Society

One of the main markers of the Western Black Project is rabid Russophobia (and SlavoPhobia in general), that is ingrained in their psyche since their defeat by the Russians in Northern Crusades.

They also hate traditional Anglo-Saxon society, since the Anglican Church is the closest sister Church to Russian Orthodox Church – as oppose to Catholicism, which in view of ROC is a heresy to split Christianity.

I am quite certain that the Black Project (Deep State) played a significant role in organizing Caribbean Missile crises to destroy BOTH civilizations – Russian and American, and when it failed due to heroic opposition by President Kennedy, murdered him.

After it arranged a removal of President Nixon for his plans to follow the policy of Détente with the USSR.

In modern times, the Deep State expressed itself as a fierce opposition to President Bush and President Obama, especially since the Black Project lost the elections of 2000 in the person of Flying Monkey El Gore.

But usually all activity of the Black Project was deep under cover, and only their fierce frustration of loosing again in 2016 brought the struggle into the open.

  60. JohnAZ April 14, 2018 at 2:14 pm #

    Finca

I am fascinated by your last analysis. Your description of a Black Project supporting the Deep State is intriguing. I have been thinking that the Leftist movement in the US and its politically violent reaction to 2016 is being controlled by outside forces, globalists and world dominators. The names have been mentioned many times on the blog. I do have a question though, if outside forces have starting dominating Democratic policies in the US, how did this all begin, and why so much vitriol lately? Are we on the cusp of a globalist takeover? Is Trump’s demise, if and when, the beginning of the end of US super power status and the start of your Black Project globalist takeover. If so, we better lock and load sooner than later.

if outside forces have starting dominating Democratic policies in the US, how did this all begin, and why so much vitriol lately? Are we on the cusp of a globalist takeover?

I think that it all begun at the end of the World War II when the Third Reich – the political essence of the Black Project – was lying in German ruins and United States became the sole owner of a radically new weapon – the atomic bomb.

There is also a question of a huge amount of wealth in various forms accumulated by the Third Reich during the looting of Western and Eastern Europe, including Russia – gold, art, scientific and technological knowledge – estimated by various researches in astronomical amount of 20 trillion dollars (in today prices).

In United States there always were forces who thought that US is fighting on the wrong side in WWII – Just ask Janos, he’s one of those – adding to that huge amount of NSDAP Party (Borman) money that needed legalization in the West – and you have a recipe for Nazi takeover of US Political establishment.

I guess since the Democratic Party was controlling the White House and due to personal qualities of Harry Truman, ODESSA concentrated its efforts on taking over the Democratic Party through Allen Dulles + Harry Truman coup against President Roosevelt, who was most likely poisoned by a Russian painter Elizabeth Shoumatoff.

RT confirms: Chemical agent was produced in Britain. Does London need to be bombed?

The relationship between the UK and Russia is exactly the same as between Alba and I, with Alba being the UK and I, Russia. As above so below. The microcosm reflects the macrocosm. To wit:

The Russian foreign minister said that London refused to answer dozens of “very specific” questions asked by Moscow about the Salisbury case, as well as to provide any substantial evidence that could shed light on the incident. Instead, the UK accused Russia of failing to answer its own questions, he said, adding that, in fact, London did not ask any questions but wanted Moscow to admit that it was responsible for the delivery of the chemical agent to the UK.

Russian air defenses were completely bypassed. <= The Saker

You don’t strike me as the kind of guy who would just hear about a gas attack on Fox News and just go believe it hook line and sinker.

Yet 80% of Americans would think they were unpatriotic if any notions of doubt were to cross their minds and they totally believe whatever Trump says. They also drink alcohol and get mean when they do, so don’t get in their way. Of the remaining 20% many of them are bat-shit crazy and think everything is a conspiracy. Their own paranoia traps them in inactivity and feeding their paranoia makes them even less of a threat. A few remaining percentage points of authentically dubious really don’t matter because these people are such a small minority. So small a minority now they can’t even come together. These people are used to being ignored and are sort of accustomed to living with stupid people anyway. They bark but not very loud or long, making them ineffective as well.

So who was Trump trying to please?

Mostly himself, but he wound up pleasing everybody.

Trump’s attacks will only deepen the visceral hostility between the US and Russia. That relationship is worse than ever.

We would have a much better relationship with Russia if there had been no Trump-Russia collusion and Hillary had won the electoral college.

    • K-Dog April 14, 2018 at 3:34 pm #

For those bitching about Trump being as bad as Hillary, this is both true and false. Inherently yes, of course, he is. And he is far dumber than her. But getting him in the White House bought Russia (and Syria) about 1 year of time to prepare for what happened yesterday. So, no matter how sub-pathetic Trump is, keeping the Neocons away from power for a year or so bought some very precious time for the rest of the planet. That is a good thing even if Trump himself is a maniacal coward, a narcissistic piece of shit and dangerous buffoon of the worst kind. <= The Saker

I actually don't agree with the Saker that Trump is dumber that Hillary. This does not imply I consider either smart.

As far as buying time goes John Bolton will close the gap.

So janet, this is an honest question and I mean this most sincerely. Are you paid to simply bash Donald Trump, here in a place that he is not really liked in the foist place? Why can you not understand that it is the system that is garbage and that the players are simply faces to distract those who cannot think above the level of primitive emotions? And also quite the racist as well. I do not know where he/she/it is getting the “White Supremacy” shit from either, must live in a cave somewhere. The last time I checked the Southern bigots got their butts kicked pretty hard in 1865 and then were carper-bagged into the dirt for decades. The current state of white decline (especially in places like South Africa indicate to me if not the rest of the world that it should more accurately be called “White Decay”. Perhaps janet will only be satisfied once all of us white guys are dead and all of the white women have interbred sufficiently to assure that there will be no return. Personally I am starting to think that this may be the best thing to happen because true revenge will only be realized once all of us working white guys are not around to carry the load anymore. Bring it.

I think white men have contributed more than a smidgeon to the scientific and cultural human achievement; but good luck getting Janet to admit that. Maybe we need a “white heritage” month, lest our contributions be forgotten.

White heritage month would, as has been pointed out on this site before (not by me) have to include the despoliation of the planet to the point of its soon becoming a hostile environment for human life.

So I’m fine with white heritage month as long as it’s not filtered.

A weird convoluted attitude. Next you’re going to echoing Justin Trudeau’s “If you kill them, they win.” Hope you’re joking. But many are not when they talk this way.

Look, the best revenge is living well. But live well, you have to live. Thus Jefferson said, Survival is the first morality. Does this conflict with Christian morality? Consider: Before you can love God with your whole heart and mind and love your neighbor as your self, you still have to live.

            So, No it doesn’t.

No Janos I am not going to be falling on my sword to give my ears a break from the nails on the chalkboard sounds of the parasitic White haters, but when my time comes as it does for us all, I intend to enjoy the peace and quiet.

We whities have built a planet of civilizations that include wonders of science, medicine, supply and everything else that the parasites enjoy because of our abilities and motivation. Yes, unfortunately it comes with the stiff price of thermonuclear war, chemically induced death and torment and rape, murder and every other Satanic evil imaginable. As they say, you gots to take da good wit da bad.

          • hmuller April 15, 2018 at 8:33 pm #

Walter, I’m sure you know white people did not introduce all the evil things you mentioned into the world. Doing cruel stuff is part of human nature in every pigmentation.

American Indians practiced horrible forms of torture on their enemies. African chieftains conquered neighboring tribes and sold them to White and Arab slave traders. And let’s all tell GreenAlba to compare western white efforts at pollution control with what China or India do (as in very little).

I understand that recounting history is an inherently subjective exercise. But I think the level of utter twisted bullshit and propaganda the cultural Marxists spew must be confronted and shown for what it is.

          • GreenAlba April 16, 2018 at 7:33 am #

“And let’s all tell GreenAlba to compare western white efforts at pollution control with what China or India do (as in very little).”

GreenAlba already knows about that – it’s spouted at every turn. But she doesn’t think that because someone over there is also doing something bad that her country has the right to do it too. And in fact you’d find, if you looked, that China is making great efforts – they’re just making them from a different base line.

The second point is that the UK and the US have long-term historical emissions to account for, which China and India don’t. We industrialised first and have enjoyed the benefits for longer. That’s why China and India have greater CO2 allowances (under the Paris agreement) for longer. Fair’s fair. You can’t steal almost all the cookies then demand that the new arrivals share what’s left with you equally. Not if you have a conscience anyway. And you can’t claim to greater morality (which I see a lot of on here, white-person-wise) if all you’re saying is ‘but, but…look at them’).

And the other point is…who do you think China’s producing all the crap for? If they stop and you bring all the factories home, as promised, you’ll be bringing home the pollution too. Where the accounting of it belongs anyway.

And, finally, I quite like Edmund Burke’s proposition that “Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only a little.”

That’s why I don’t take all the trips abroad I can finally afford after the years when I didn’t have any, even though in the scheme of things it (supposedly) makes very little difference. My daughter in the land of no chewing gum has used up my CO2 allowances for years to come, but that doesn’t make me throw in the towel.

She doesn’t have kids, which are the biggest CO2 grenade you can throw, so I’ll leave her to her own moral dilemmas, of which I know she’s aware.

Trump is unable to recognize threats and unwilling to criticize Putin. For example, the cyberattacks that happened after Trump’s attack in Syria.

Pentagon spokeswoman Dana White said in Saturday’s Pentagon briefing that there has been a “2,000% increase in Russian trolls in the last 24 hours,” following the coordinated strike against Syria on Friday night.

      • K-Dog April 14, 2018 at 4:35 pm #

        I’m quoting the Saker today:

As for that pathetic scorecard, the Pentagon “spokesperson” said that they had noticed a 2000% increase of “Russian troll” activity over the past 24 hours.

        No kidding!

I would think that completely destroying a non-existing Syria chemical warfare capability could even be called a “infinite success”.

Hows the American troll report doing? Double shifts at Fort Mead? 2000% I’m sure we have them beat paws down. The effort to plant anti-Assad propaganda is certainly over the top at the article/pundit/talkinghead end. I suspect American trolls are cultivating rage for Trump in the public comment/community end as a diversionary tactic since direct attack on Assad at the troll level would be far too obvious.

Hating Trump is after all an innocuous pastime and good for nothing but shifting focus away from things that matter.

    • K-Dog April 14, 2018 at 5:02 pm #

Good memory capt! Sarajevo 1914. Wow, then you must remember this too, only a couple years later.

The absence of public unity was a primary concern when America entered the war on April 6, 1917. In Washington, unwavering public support was considered to be crucial to the entire wartime effort. On April 13, 1917, Wilson created the Committee on Public Information (CPI) to promote the war domestically while publicizing American war aims abroad. Under the leadership of a muckraking journalist named George Creel, the CPI recruited heavily from business, media, academia, and the art world. The CPI blended advertising techniques with a sophisticated understanding of human psychology, and its efforts represent the first time that a modern government disseminated propaganda on such a large scale. It is fascinating that this phenomenon, often linked with totalitarian regimes, emerged in a democratic state. “

The Colored Projects of the West, of which I speak, were largely formed by the Albigensian Crusade.

But it should not be forgotten that the real Albigensianism in the first place was very different from its description in the records of the Inquisition, from where it migrated to history textbooks and scientific monographs first in the West and then in Russia, and secondly it was not the only one and not even the most important source of modern anthropological dualism, which is a common feature and the basis of all three Colored Projects. And I do not want to talk about attempts to comprehend Albigensianism from the Orthodox point of view on the basis of the Protocols of the anti-Orthodox Inquisition.

And we must start with the realization of the need to distinguish not only the geographical concept of “West and East” from the culturological notion “West and East”, which Kipling speaks about, but also to realize the difference between the Roman Catholic Church from both Eastern and Western Christianity.

What Kipling is talking about is connected with how the pagan Romans perceived the “rational West and the mystical East,” and this was reflected in the play “Anthony and Cleopatra” by Shakespeare, which played a decisive role in shaping the differences between the East India and West India Companies.

And this, in turn, still determines the policy of the United States, in particular the confrontation between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, as the notorious Boston Tea Party was the destruction of the goods of the East India Company by the employees of the West India Company.

Moreover, we should not forget the confrontation between the Western and Eastern Roman empires, because the English in earnest consider themselves the last fragment of the Western Roman Empire. It is with this that the thousand-year-old confrontation between England and continental Europe, especially Germany, which considers itself to be the heirs of the Arminius Cherus, who defeated the Romans in the Teutoburg Forest.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_Teutoburg_Forest

But the most important thing is that the Western Black Project has ripened from the union of Mithraism, paganism and Arianism within the Orthodox Empire of Theodosius the Great, which is well known in the West under the title “Great conspiracy” (the Great Conspiracy) and is completely unknown in Russia.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Conspiracy

This is indeed the most important obstacle in understanding the differences between civilizations, in particular between the Catholic West and the Orthodox East, since the notorious filioque was not the reason, but a pretext for the Great Schism of 1054 that the Western Black project organized precisely to drive a wedge between the Christian West and the Orthodox East, first tearing Rome from the Byzantine Orthodox Church in 800, and then forming the so-called Frankfurt theology, Protestant in spirit even before the appearance of a Catholicism as such, which allegedly protestants allegedly protested against.

Trump unties America from China and Russia – from the slavery to the dollar system

Trump has sharply strengthened the sovereign economy of Russian Federation and now took up against the Russian offshores.

The most important result of the new package of anti-Russian sanctions by the United States was not the drop in the domestic financial markets (which is already almost played out), but the impetus that these measures gave to the Russian managerial and business elite.

What Putin warned many years ago, outlining to Russian businessmen the prospect of “swallowing dust” in the West, suddenly became a harsh reality with which one must somehow live and need to adapt urgently.

Russian specialists in various currency schemes, seemingly so cleverly throwing off the risks associated with the ruble, suddenly realized that deep integration into the dollar system is the equivalent of deep integration into the mousetrap, which could slam shut without a warning.

“Are you paid to simply bash Donald Trump” –Walter B.

No, Walter B., I would just like some fairness. If you attacked Barack Obama for doing the exact same thing in Syria, then in fairness you should attack Trump. I read the attacks on Obama on CFN. I also made attacks on Obama, calling him a war criminal.

I’m not seeing any attacks on Trump on CFN, even though supposedly folks are not falling for the red/blue, conservative/liberal, etc. dichotomies. By your silence you are giving your consent to Trump’s illegal, ineffective use of violence.

Trump’s attack was reality show violence which accomplished nothing. It was not military strategy designed to win any war aims.It will have no effect on the situation in Syria at all. It was not authorized by Congress. (The Republicans in Congress had threatened to impeach Barack Obama if he struck Syria in 2013 under similar circumstances.) It was not authorized by the UN. None of the three striking states had been attacked or harmed. Where is your condemnation of Trump?

      I looked Him up.

“The most careful observations seem to prove that an individual immerged for some length of time in a crowd in action soon finds himself — either in consequence of the magnetic influence given out by the crowd, or from some other cause of which we are ignorant — in a special state, which much resembles the state of fascination in which the hypnotised individual finds himself in the hands of the hypnotiser. The activity of the brain being paralysed in the case of the hypnotised subject, the latter becomes the slave of all the unconscious activities of his spinal cord, which the hypnotiser directs at will. The conscious personality has entirely vanished; will and discernment are lost. All feelings and thoughts are bent in the direction determined by the hypnotiser.

      More interesting is his observation:

“The improbable does not exist for a crowd, and it is necessary to bear this circumstance well in mind to understand the facility with which are created and propagated the most improbable legends and stories.”

Interesting stuff, which means this quote by Sun Tzu will be taken to heart by todays crowd.

Whenever conquest of a suburb is certain with victory imminent, your enemy vanquished with only tattered remnants in an ignominious retreat to the north; always preform an atrocity to inflame the rest of the world and taint your victory lest it be considered perfect. – Sun Tzu (The Art of War)

(There is always an imperfection deliberately woven into the corner of a Navajo rug. It looks perfect except for the ‘mistake.’ A mistake that is intentionally put there. Sun Tzu also knew this wisdom.)

To be fair Gustave Le Bon observed the behavior of crowds and extrapolating his results to the internet and mass media in general he’d most probably would have had a problem with. He was scientific and would insist the scientific method be used as he used it.

They’re not Anti-Confederate. They’re Anti-White. The Russians should be our Allies against this shit – which is now world wide. That’s why they don’t want us together. They fear the Great Northern Alliance of Whites from Galway to Vladivostok and from Vladivostok to Bangor.

A putative Universal Culture that seems to wipe out the constituent cultures is a pretty funny kind of Universal – kind of like the Borg or a giant Amoeba. In other words, inferior to the many of the existent cultures, certainly to our Western one.

So you’re down with White Genocide? Thought so.

Form matters. The spirit is not enough as it uses form to evolve. Even a great Master could not make great music from a beaten up old fiddle. The White form is an advanced one compared to many of the other races on Earth. It must be preserved.

        Istanbul was Constantinople
        Now it’s Istanbul, not Constantinople
Been a long time gone, Oh Constantinople
Now it’s Turkish delight on a moonlit night

        Every gal in Constantinople
        Lives in Istanbul, not Constantinople
So if you’ve a date in Constantinople
        She’ll be waiting in Istanbul

Even old New York was once New Amsterdam
Why they changed it I can’t say
People just liked it better that way

So, Take me back to Constantinople
No, you can’t go back to Constantinople
Been a long time gone, Oh Constantinople
Why did Constantinople get the works?
That’s nobody’s business but the Turks

When I was taking a Modern Greek class in college, I once asked the teacher where the Turks got the name “Istanbul”?

She explained that they heard the Greeks talking about going “ees ton poli” which meant “into the city”. So the Turks thought that was the name of the place (which they then pronounced as “Istanbuli”).

We used to have a poster here who called himself Progress to Conserve, a Georgian, by all accounts a real southern gentleman. He had some problem with the format of this site and just stopped commenting.

If he were here I would ask him, in the south, why are you not protecting your monuments and statues, why are you allowing them to be vandalized and desecrated, and why are you not defending your white southern heritage?

      brh

      • janet April 15, 2018 at 2:25 am #

P4W (progress for what) is probably working now to bring down all the confederate statues and monuments. He repeatedly said he is not a racist.

All those monuments, and the Confederate flag itself, are explicit symbols of white supremacy.

The only responsible act is to remove them. Including all the monuments originally erected in the early 1900s by the Daughters of the Confederacy. They’re the ones who put up monuments 34 years after the Civil War, right as the Jim Crow Laws really started to set in. They are symbols of white supremacy that have no place in our multicultural, multiracial, interfaith America. The Confederacy lost. Get over it.

Please Janet, accept that you aren’t a historian but rather an ideologue on par with Harriet Beecher Stow. Which is to say you are incapable of examining the past with the impartiality necessary to emphatically appreciate the intellectual landscape of the time. You are pathologically sealed within a particular brand of contemporary Utopian ideology.

          Multicultural, multiracial, interfaith America -Janet

There is the rub, multicultural. A multicultural society is an oxymoron, by definition culture determines the makeup of a people, their identity. No wonder the Deep State has had to form in DC to try to keep this group of malcontented cultures together. It is failing to do so, which is what about half of this blog is about. Multiculturalism, just like in Roman days, or even the USSR in today’s history, will never work and we are already seeing the splits starting, aka California, New York, the South, Texas, Arizona.

Unless the multiracial component can congeal into a uniculture binding all the subcultures, the American experiment is a failure and we will move onto a physically separated country. If that happens, the warring elements will turn North America into another Middle East as different groups battle for the resources available. I smell the advent of WMBH as a consequence.

          • JohnAZ April 15, 2018 at 10:51 am #

Curiosity Janet, if things do split up, what part of North America will you hang your hat?

      • Janos Skorenzy April 15, 2018 at 4:19 pm #

Prog was profoundly confused about America, Blacks, multiculturalism, etc. A civic nationalist in other words who thought Dr King was a nice guy. And that Whites would be allowed to live in peace once we had lost power.

Here is Cornel West exalting in the coming conflagration in honor of his dark High Yellow Master.

One of the last and true friends of King, the great Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel prophetically said: “The whole future of America will depend upon the impact and influence of Dr King.” When King was murdered something died in many of us. The bullets sucked some of the free and democratic spirit out of the US experiment. The next day over 100 American cities and towns were in flames – the fire this time had arrived again!

Today, 50 years later the US imperial meltdown deepens. And King’s radical legacy remains primarily among the awakening youth and militant citizens who choose to be extremists of love, justice, courage and freedom, even if our chances to win are that of a snowball in hell! This kind of unstoppable King-like extremism is a threat to every status quo!

JS: If anyone is interested, this link can be found in the article I posted above by Greg Hood. King was an ardent Communist. Communists are not pacifists. King’s pacifism was strategic, not existential and authentic. He was fine with radicals working with him as long as they understood and respected his technique.

You’ll need something more than a bunker-buster bomb to obliterate this Confederate memorial:

    https://vickym72.deviantart.com/art/Stone-Mountain-Georgia-304864961

Stone Mountain is a quartz monzonite dome at the site of Stone Mountain Park near Stone Mountain, Georgia. At its summit, the elevation is 1,686 feet and 825 feet above the surrounding area. It is more than 5 miles (8 km) in circumference at its base. The dome is a pluton, a type of igneous intrusion, formed during the formation of the Blue Ridge Mountains around 300–350 million years ago during the Carboniferous period. It formed as a result of the upwelling of magma from within the Earth’s crust. This magma solidified to form granite within the crust five to ten miles below the surface. The Stone Mountain pluton continues underground 9 miles (14 km) at its longest point into Gwinnett County. Numerous reference books and Georgia literature have dubbed Stone Mountain “the largest exposed piece of granite in the world.” [Highlights from Wikipedia]

Stone Mountain is well known not only for its geology, but also the enormous rock relief on its north face, the largest bas-relief in the world. The huge carving depicts three Confederate figures: Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee and T.J. ‘Stonewall’ Jackson.

At the end of the Vietnam War, as a young Army officer on the staff of the newly-formed U.S. Army Forces Command Hq, located at nearby Fort McPherson in Atlanta, I was assigned to escort a big contingent of officers from the Bolivian Armed Forces War College. What a bunch of banditos they were! (I’ve often wondered how many survived the next junta.) In addition to their FORSCOM briefings, we took them out to Lockheed Martin in Marietta (where I lived off post) to inspect the latest version of the Lockheed C-130 Hercules. (I’m sure selling hardware was the real agenda behind hosting them.) Then back to Atlanta to visit the usual tourist sites. Their favorite stop by far was Stone Mountain. I can still see them in my mind’s eye, in the park’s gift shop, trying on the bright pastel color ballcaps, in yellow, baby blue, mint green, etc., with big embroidered patches on the front depicting the three horsemen on the sculpture, crowding around a mirror in the store, preening and admiring one another. Soon it was back aboard the tour bus, but for the rest of their visit, in ornate military uniforms and dark Ray-Bans, those bad muchachos proudly sported their colorful caps. What a sight! It’s a shame I didn’t have a cellphone camera back then to record the hilarious scene, like something right out of “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.”

By the way, if you’re ever in the Atlanta area during the summer months, don’t miss the fantastic laser light show at the park that begins just after dark. Kids love it but so do big people. Choreographed with a terrific music soundtrack, the neatest part is when the lasers outline the characters on the side of the mountain, and moments later, they begin to slowly stir, and then suddenly, mounted on their horses, the Confederate heroes gallop away across the night sky above the audience, as if in hot pursuit of Union cavalry. An amazing sight to see, even if you’re a die-hard Yankee!

“So the allies lobbed a few cruise missile into Syria.

the axis (in this case Iran, Russia and Syria) have not responded in kind, even tho they have the means to do so.

Maybe they’ll just let it ride.”

Funny you should mention that. Just about a half hour ago on our regional outlet of National Propaganda Regurgitators, they were about to do a small piece on that non-response by some ivory-tower university smarty, but before that shining eminence could take to the airwaves, the piece was cut off mid-sentence by “Pulse of the Planet” and the weekend puzzle puffery. Hmmmm, guess the escalating, opening salvos of WW3 aren’t really important.

I was doing my biweekly trip to the gym where I get my ticker up over 100 beats a minute. It is a good week when I don’t skip. The body is your temple, that sort of thing. Dogs need to walk.

The wall where everyone faces when working the elliptical walking machines and exercise bikes has big screen TVs along its entire length. Of twenty screens only two showed the 10 pm East Coast time press conference about the missile strike. v One was in Spanish and that is the one I was closest to and watched. I don’t know Spanish but since it was the news I was watching that did not matter.

The general talking the press conference sort of looked like James T Kirk from Star Trek and though I could not understand the translation, he had a definite air of ‘beam me up Scottie‘ about him.

My point, yes I have one. Of twenty screens only two showed the press conference and I saw nobody interested in those two screens at all. I was the only one.

I looked out the windows out at the parking lot of the mini mall I was in half expecting the sky to flash white like a lightning bolt so big it fills the whole sky. I pondered what would happen, realizing the flash would likely blind me and set everybody in the room on fire. A few seconds of screaming unfathomable pain and it would be all over.

Then I went back to watching a fit blond young woman lifting weights, noting her technique. Not all Americans are gross and overweight. Just most.

Before I was completely distracted I decided that if there is a flash the room totally deserved it. At that time there was no way to know Trumps latest strike would not kill anyone. I don’t think the Jesus would have appreciated the disinterest and ease with which everyone in the room acquiesced to murder.

Funny, I haven’t been scared of turning into a lump of charcoal. Am I dumb? No,I don’t think so; the idea that we’ll be nuked just seems unreal to me. Am I paddling in that African river, then? Nope, I’m actually optimistic about the future. Nuclear war just doesn’t compute. When, everyone else was freaking out around me during the 1962 Cuban missile crisis, I was pretty confident it would all be resolved. I believe the same thing will happen today.

Well now! NPR has codified into the historical record that “Assad gassed his own people”. Glad we’ve cleared that up by speculation into how much the manufactories of these horrors were degraded by the missile attack (and thereby Assad’s ability to employ them).

Joaquin Castro, pinhead water-carrier for the DS from Texas “informed” us of this through the unchallenging exchange with interlocutor, Lulu Garcia Navarro.

We would do well to remember who these folks are and what they do for their 30 pieces of silver.

Have they decided what gas was used? Since the whole thing is fictional we should really have some panache in the description. ‘Mustard’ has a nice ring to it since we get to pick the gas.

President Assad in Duma with Col. Mustard and his gas. A new game of clue for a country which has no clues.

Not fair you say, but is it fair when people turn their brains off? Fair or not it can be deadly.

Riddle me this cluemeisters. How did our military know where the gas facilities were? If I was Assad I’d be smart enough to hide them and Assad himself is certainly smart enough to figure out the same damn thing. There are so many holes in the phony gas attack story 100+ missiles will not plug them all. They should have at least made the field hospital lights blink.

It will get people to stop asking questions, but people were not asking questions to start with. We have reached that level of apathy. It was a waste of time and Israel made us waste a lot of money. But hey, that is what they are good for. Had it not been for their 7 missiles Trump might have been content with only 50 of ours but the Tzahal upped the ante.

“an ideologue on par with Harriet Beecher Stow” –cavepainter

My preferred role model is Ida B. Wells. Her work refuted the justification for lynching as punishment for Black on white rape by revealing that, according to published sources, fewer than 30% of reported lynchings even involved the charge of rape much less a legally proven case of it.

Whites were simply on a murderous rampage. That terrorism by whites against Blacks is what the confederate monuments symbolize.

I have seen the “fantastic laser light show” at Stone Mountain. People like Sticks-of-TNT are easily emotionally manipulated by the propaganda laser show at Stone Mountain, but that presentation does not reveal the torture and murder committed by whites against Blacks.

Ida B. Wells was there in the South, observing and reporting. Her finding became the cornerstone of all subsequent arguments against lynching by a wide range of reformers and critics.

Essentially, its a dehumanization of history and the people who lived it, reducing them/it to static icons and de-contextualized anecdotes. Romanticizing, in a word, which is why I reference Stow.

You’ve no idea the things that are illegal in London: robbery, parking where it says you can’t, insulting a policeman, walking into Buckingham Palace without a by your leave, burglary, driving your car the wrong way up a one-way street, crapping on the grass, having sex in the middle of Hyde Park, injecting heroin, not paying your taxes, not sending your kids to school, smacking your kids, beating your wife/husband, not paying your employees the minimum wage…

It’s exhausting just thinking about it. And there you were thinking you only had to tell people not to carry knives and…they’d…stop.

Barbed wire too – it might hurt thieves or home invaders coming to kill you.

After firearms were made illegal, the rate of home invasions soared.

        • GreenAlba April 15, 2018 at 5:39 pm #

That’s funny, Janos. Can you give me the stats please? Stats for soaring home invasions on a graph with firearms laws?

Even a graph with the soaring home invasions by themselves would be nice 🙂 .

Thanks – looking forward to it.

Your graph is going to look a bit counter-intuitive, though, since burglaries have been steadily dropping for years (decades).

          https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/crimeandjustice/articles/overviewofburglaryandotherhouseholdtheft/englandandwales

Northern Ireland has slightly more lax firearms laws than the rest of the UK. That worked out well for them, didn’t it?

In the meantime you’ll be happy to note that a pensioner has very recently stabbed a burglar to death and isn’t being prosecuted. The burglar’s not being prosecuted either, on account of him being dead. And while death is a bit heavy as a punishment for burglary, even a centre-lefty like me has better things to cry about – no-one asked him to go a-burgling. Shit happens, as someone said. And pensioners get freaked out by burglars wielding screwdrivers.

On the other hand, you don’t need to go a-burgling over your way to be shot at – you can just be on your way to school and a bit lost.

          https://uk.news.yahoo.com/teenager-missed-school-bus-reportedly-191703269.html

“Home invasions” is a great expression, by the way. In my mind I’m seeing ‘Dad’s Army’… Don’t know if you get it over your way but it’s funny – if you have a British sense of humour anyway.

          • Janos Skorenzy April 15, 2018 at 6:31 pm #

It’s true: Whites are freaked out by Blacks and everyone is eager to prosecute and/or destroy Whites who make such mistakes. Of course you all say it’s just prejudice. But in fact, it’s a posteriori or after experience. Blacks have a very well earned reputation for violent crime and savagery.

          • GreenAlba April 15, 2018 at 7:34 pm #

Well our dead burglar is a white dead burglar. He’d white-burgled a lot of other people before our white pensioner stopped him somewhat in his tracks. Cultural stereotypes notwithstanding.

Seems he was from a gypsy family, though, so I’m sure we could do something stereotype-y with that. For those who are fond of cultural stereotypes. For me he’s just an idiot who should have been looking after his family some other way and now he’s left a wife and child behind and a traumatised pensioner.

          • Janos Skorenzy April 15, 2018 at 9:53 pm #

So the Gypsies (not White btw) are simply clean living folks just like everyone else?

No serious person believes that. Of course I’m sure a few of them leave their despicable culture for the mainstream – an improvement in this case. But not many.

In this case, he was a Traveler. We have them in the U.S. too. Irish Tinkers or Travelers, they’re called. They go around pulling roofing and driveway paving scams, et cetera. Every race has its left-side of the Bell Curve low-end of the I.Q. distribution. Sometimes, these types self-identify (usually by family) and carry on with a unique subculture and set of tribal ethics (particularism vs. universalism). Then, in a few hundred years, they have a distinct gene pool; that’s according to HBD. Makes sense to me. We used to call them “no ‘counts.”

I know. My mother lost £3000 to a ‘roofer’ from a ‘travelling’ family (he lived in a £1m house and had a big, fancy car, courtesy of his ‘roofing’.

He scared her into getting the job done in the first place. He ended up in jail but she didn’t get her £3K back.

He was still white, wherever he was on the bell curve. And mostly they eventually settle down in houses. I taught a number of them in a particular school that was in an area known for ‘travellers’. Mostly they were just nice kids and they had no responsibility for their broader relatives who went a-roofing.

My husband uses the term ‘Irish tinkers’ too and he’s Irish. Some of them are so white they’re almost blue – it’s an Irish thing 🙂 .

Michael Cohen and the End Stage of the Trump Presidency

    https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/michael-cohen-and-the-end-stage-of-the-trump-presidency

“… Last week, federal investigators raided the offices of Michael Cohen, the man who has been closer than anybody to Trump’s most problematic business and personal relationships. This week, we learned that Cohen has been under criminal investigation for months—his e-mails have been read, presumably his phones have been tapped, and his meetings have been monitored. Trump has long declared a red line: Robert Mueller must not investigate his businesses, and must only look at any possible collusion with Russia. That red line is now crossed and, for Trump, in the most troubling of ways. Even if he were to fire Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and then had Mueller and his investigation put on ice, and even if—as is disturbingly possible—Congress did nothing, the Cohen prosecution would continue. Even if Trump pardons Cohen, the information the Feds have on him can become the basis for charges against others in the Trump Organization.

“… This is the week we know, with increasing certainty, that we are entering the last phase of the Trump Presidency. This doesn’t feel like a prophecy; it feels like a simple statement of the apparent truth. … I am unaware of anybody who has taken a serious look at Trump’s business who doesn’t believe that there is a high likelihood of rampant criminality.

“… There is no longer one major investigation into Donald Trump, focussed solely on collusion with Russia. There are now at least two, including a thorough review of Cohen’s correspondence. … What we already know is disturbing, and it is hard to imagine that the information prosecutors will soon learn will do anything but worsen the picture. … [I]t seems likely that, when we look back on this week, we will see it as a turning point. We are now in the end stages of the Trump Presidency.”

Adam Davidson is right about the rampant, low-rent criminality of the man now occupying the Oval Office, but he’s too optimistic by half about the outlook from here. In my opinion, today’s America is quite corrupt enough that Trump has a reasonable shot at surviving all of this.

And if he does come out the other side still on top, even after having his poopy diapers changed in full public view, it won’t be the Trump presidency that has changed, but the presidency itself. Trump will have succeeded in remaking the office, and the polity it rules, in his own image. And everyone everywhere will be worse off as a result.

I would not be so quick to Doom the Trump reign. Historically, look at the Clinton’s through his Presidency, her Senate and SOS time and the shenanigans of the Clinton Foundation and their Russian collusion. Lord almighty, if any one was going to be clobbered, those two are prime candidates,. To date, no action. Their lawyers, cohorts in the White House, people in the DNC, people have been investigated, indicted, suspicious deaths have occurred with people who were going to bring evidence against them, you name it, they are suspects. And they are above the law, no one has the guts to do anything about anything. So Trump is building a wall of fear in the Deep State, do not be surprised if absolutely nothing becomes of anything. As Fox News says, please bring one shred of proof either from Congress or through Mueller and we will listen. Otherwise, shut up. In the meantime all you Dems out there, forget about trying to dump Trump and get to work trying to find a candidate and a platform to beat him in 2020. And by the way, even if he is impeached and convicted, very unlikely, you still have Pence to worry about. IMHO, he is tougher to beat than Trump.

Cohen has been under criminal investigation for months—his e-mails have been read, presumably his phones have been tapped, and his meetings have been monitored.

What kind of revelation is that? All you have to do is be an active nobody on the internet and that can happen to you. If you are a lawyer to a presidential candidate the only reason you would not be surveiled is if the surveillers had better things to do.

Most surveillance I’m sure is discrete unless they want to send a message. That happens, I know. To bad for them it did not shut me up.

Phones behave a bit differently when they are being used to monitor your meetings. An oversight by a surveillant is not to look at the use history of a phone which is being used as a bugging device. If the owner of the phone basically hates phones and tries not to use it (such as myself) they will get suspicious when their battery suddenly starts being drained in a single day when a week before it took 3 days. Most people are heavy phone users so added use by D-State surveillance is not noticed. For a person who uses their phone infrequently the battery drain shows something is up.

Then when you see a couple of sentences being injected into another commenters comment on a page your visiting verbatim you know something is up for sure. Somebody is trying to put the fear of god in you is what’s up. I find other joys in life more preferable. Sorry to go off topic. If god scares me that would work.

A few thoughts of the week.

    Trump is turning into Hillary.

We thought we were getting an anti NeoCon and anti Neolib. but NOT SO FAST:
Mr Trump is a common criminal who money launders internatioinally through his real estate business and uses a “fixer” Michael Cohen who may not be operating as a lawyer, exactly.
Trump breaks with common practices and doesn’t want you to see his tax returns or know how he does business.
He just wants you to think he’s a billionaire who uses business tools to lead the country.
He is a theatrical sham. He will get you exactly where the private interests of this country want to go and that is a new idea of a cold war.

    As I’ve posted this week:
Michael Klare has called our attention to the idea that the Pentagon is bored of the ME and now wants to wage a new 3-front long war with Russia, China and the ME.
    1) After attacking the NeoCons re: ME wars, he has now fired his Nat’l Security advisor and brought in Fox favorite, John Bolton.
2)Then he pardons Scooter Libby the same week.
He kills two birds, a. He shows his nearest and dearest fixers he can pardon them and b. he shows the Neocons that he is now in their corner.
    3) Again, using Fox he has taken Larry Kudlow freemarketeer extrodinaire on as his economic advisor. He told Larry to look into the TPP. Guess why?
Cuz we want to corner China with allies through the TPP that’s the move. NOTE: The stock market doesn’t like trade wars and it’s the economy, stupid. There’s not much else to work with. The media has said that Trump needs allies to go against China, and the way to do that is to sign the TPP.

The attack on Syria was a message.
It really didn’t do too much, but it spent lots o’ tax payer money to the private interests so……
1)The stock market might just like this move…a lot.
2)This also establishes the idea of Iran/Russia/Syria as the axis of evil in the ME. that is one front of the long game we are now playing.
Now. It all depends upon what is really being said between Trump and Putin whether this is just for show or if there really is tension between them, but we do know the Pentagon wants the tension.
Very lucrative indeed, but not for you and I.

What you are saying is that the Deep State is just absorbing Trump into the D.C. Fold. If you are right, to his base, he is the biggest con artist since LBJ. If it continues, he will not be able to buy a vote in 2020. He and Hillary will be a matched set. Which is what the Never Trump GOP was afraid of. Another viewpoint, maybe there is no Dem and GOP and the Deep State already has total power. If so, kiss off the Middle Class and the heart of economic America.

I pray this is not happening.

      • Being There April 15, 2018 at 3:27 pm #

        Yes.
I think the real issue is that Trump is deeply compromised by his own activity through the years. The “Dossier” was first funded as opposition research by Republicans but was abandoned when they decided to let him win and Hillary’s bunch started to fund it.
He brought out the animal spirits of base and that’s just what the Repubs needed to get all three branches of govt.
Only he had many issues that many in the know were aware of.
Through the years I have come across the idea that if you can’t be blackmailed you can’t get into any position of power in the govt.
There has to be a way to coerce anyone in a position of power to do things the way the real leadership wants.
That could be a trade deal or a war front.
This is about power and money. They need us to provide cover so they look legit.
So on the campaign trail……its promise them anything, but give them the trajectory of global hegemony in military and finance.

Two people corrupted by the business and judicial climate of this country running for President. Argument after argument have been made about who is worse. Neither one should have even have access to the electoral race. It is a black mark against this society and especially the Deep State that this is the best we can produce to run the administration of the government. It seems like a corrupt background is required to gain access to the power positions in DC. Or a New York scrapper. And by the way, Comey’s declaration that Trump was like a mob boss applies to every segment of Washington polity.

What bullshit today from those afflicted with TDS. As if the election of Hillary would have meant residence in a pristine political landscape on the moral high ground. Far, far from it.

The Clinton’s financial chicanery and their global pay for play schemes make Trump look like a street corner hustler. I remember the IRS scandal under Obama, the Fast and Furious scandal, Benghazi and its associated lying and cover up, the PC rampage that almost succeeded in brainwashing the country, the cheating Hillary campaign and the subversion of Sanders, the tarmac meeting, not to mention the Clinton and Obama operatives currently stealthily at work to subvert the President.
The phony FISA warrant(s). The totally biased Mueller investigation (attempted coup, really). On and on.

In addition, many of you might have Somalis, Guatemalans, or MS-13 members as your neighbors now. Oh yeah, tell me how you wouldn’t mind.

Easy to criticize an “Outsider” trying to navigate the Presidency through an unprecedented storm of opposition, and Obama-Clinton entrenched bureaucrats.

Most of you Syria ‘Savants’ don’t have a clue and/or are just guessing. It’s like you’re trying to hide what you don’t know to begin with.

Talk of Trump turning into Hillary is foolish. You all knew Trump would drop bombs when you made him your president. I did not make that choice but everybody who voted for him had to know that he is exactly the kind of guy who would get little thrills ordering D-State military strikes.

Talk of humanity he will, but that is a smokescreen to hide his true feelings, even from himself. In business he has buried people and is proud of it. He gets off on it. The record of how he treats people was there for all to see. He has had multiple wives and is not a loyal person. One does not prove the other, multiple wives and disloyalty, but they do correlate and with Trump it should have been a big red flag to look harder and ask some really tough questions. That did not happen.

Competing and taking is all Trump is about. Trump spent forty years being a public figure and many, I am one, knew what he was about decades ago. Hell would have frozen over before I and many others could have ever voted for him. Trump only cares about Trump. That is not presidential material and that has been obvious for years.

Trump had a choice. Tell the American people D-State has lied and pulled a false flag and do noting was a choice. Doing nothing without an explanation was no choice at all. That would have showed weakness and lead to big troubles.

The weak mans choice was to go along with the lie and do what he did. I do hold out hope that he tried real hard to target empty parking lots and such. That is the only benefit of doubt I can give Trump.

I fear you are right in your assessment. He needed to go on the offensive against the Deep State from Day One. But he didn’t. Instead he filled his Cabinet with them. People in the middle tend to get crushed. Instead of being one with the Deep State or outside the Deep State, he was half in and half out. They don’t accept that, nor his commonsense about the immigration and the Middle East.

If had used his wealth to create a new Network, and maybe ultimately a 3rd Party, it might have been a better move, given who he is, his weakness and how much he has to lose. That’s assuming he ever had any sincerity at all of course.

      • JohnAZ April 15, 2018 at 8:16 pm #

      • K-Dog April 15, 2018 at 8:19 pm #

Too bad he does not have the balls to get to the bottom of the gas attack. Once he had a few heads roll over that (and it would not be necessary for us to know the details) a humanitarian common sense foreign policy could be implemented. Above board, out in the open, logical and strong. Surprisingly you and I would probably agree on what it should be.

The need for skulduggery in foreign affairs sells a lot of movies and writes novels but it is overrated. The need for secrecy betrays weakness. Demand decency, the rule of law, honor your word and the whole world will be behind you. No need to hide anything except technical details.

You and I do agree about immigration you know. None is good.

That’s worth a comment by itself but I share your wish that Trump had tried to build a third party. Yet our expectations sadly are totally unreasonable. Trump is not a man of limitless ability. None of us are, but with him it really shows. Trump also talked about being president years ago. For Trump it is all about ego. A Putin he is not. Putin considers himself to be Russia and everything Putin does is for the benefit of Russia. Trump considers himself to be Trump and that is all.

As to his sincerity he has none but I doubt that he knows it. Thinking you are being sincere is not the same thing as being sincere. I doubt Trump understands that. Trump is a showman and the words of showmen, always concentrating on their limelight as they do, are worth an echo off the far wall and then their words are gone. Showmen are without memory. New words come later.

“What bullshit today from those afflicted with TDS.” –tucsonspur

So you believe Trump when he says “Mission Accomplished!” ? Even though Trump himself announced there was going to be an attack giving Syria six days to relocate equipment and personnel?

More fundamentally, tucsonspur, Trump’s strike was a tactical response that lacks a long-term strategy… The U.S.-led military operation did nothing to challenge Assad’s brutal rule or his growing military grip on the country.

So you strike. Then what? If the rockets hit the targets they intended, you could say the mission was accomplished in a narrow sense. But, in reality, it accomplished nothing. It might have been better if we’d not struck at all. It’s sending a message that killing is O.K. any way but one way—with chemical weapons.

    • JohnAZ April 15, 2018 at 8:15 pm #

The key word here is weapons of mass destruction which chemical weapons are. The Chlorine gas used in Syria is smal potatoes compared to the nerve agents like sarin gas. One drop is fatal. WMDs are weapons that can destroy say the populace of a city in one fell swoop. Three types, Nukes, chemical and biological. Both sides have plenty of both. Their impact is so huge that international treaties have banned them, or so it was thought. Use of them is abhorrent to both sides. A petty tyrant like Assad with technology scares lots of people hence the reaction. IMHO, Russia is dealing with this much too lightly.

You are right, Janet, no matter how we kill is not ok, but the scope is too large with NBC weapons. Trump’s strike was aimed at only the chemical weapons storage and development facilities.

      • JohnAZ April 15, 2018 at 8:56 pm #

Also remember that Russia told the world that Assad’s chemical weapons stash was destroyed. Right!

      • K-Dog April 15, 2018 at 9:32 pm #

The morality of Weapons of Mass Destruction evolves from Utilitarianism and is hogwash.

Nature has placed mankind under the governance of two sovereign masters, pain and pleasure. It is for them alone to point out what we ought to do… By the principle of utility is meant that principle which approves or disapproves of every action whatsoever according to the tendency it appears to have to augment or diminish the happiness of the party whose interest is in question: or, what is the same thing in other words to promote or to oppose that happiness. I say of every action whatsoever, and therefore not only of every action of a private individual, but of every measure of government.” <= Jeremy Bentham

British empire claptrap which justified many a sin. A higher law rules.

"Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’” <= You know who.

Murder once you are a murderer, murder a thousand times and you are a murderer. The evil of a weapon unjustly used does not depend on a particular weapon's ability to kill in numbers. More suffering less suffering, the key word is suffering. Guilt applies equally.

Utilitarianism on which much foreign policy is currently based is a seductively limiting abstraction which can and has hidden many a sin. Beware of it. Math and morality if they mix at all, mix at a much higher level than basic math, on which utilitarianism is based. Morality is nuanced, basic math is not.

Once and only once. (I have been looking) I ran across a reference to certain Japanese Buddhists coming up with the idea of ‘dangerous thoughts’. Thoughts that should not be thought at all. Thoughts that are not good for you and should not be in your brain.

But how would you know what they are to steer clear of them? The reference did not say what they are. By what they would make you do it seems to me. If they cause suffering then they’d be dangerous I suppose; but you would have to experience them to know.

Seems to be a quandary because you can’t take somebody else’s word for what could be a dangerous thought to avoid and you could deceive yourself through simple ignorance.

I bring it up because when I was reading about Utilitarianism a few weeks ago I thought this could be one of them. Dangerous thoughts. Thoughts that lead to no good end.

speaking of Buddhists, they’re still hammering the Muslim minority in Burma pretty hard, at the same time letting a few back into the country as a response to pressure from Europe and the USA.

But the UN is saying these Buddhists are only letting these Muslims back into the country so they can kill them later.

I’d apply that too where I hear nonsense about ‘one death is a tragedy; one million is a statistic’. It isn’t a statistic – it’s one person’s suffering multiplied a million times, which isn’t the same thing at all. And once we stop being able to imagine that one person’s suffering multiplied a million times and just see a statistic, ‘they’ have won and we have all lost.

Yes, quite a lapsus linguae. About all I can surmise, is that Trump is not making these decisions in vacuo. What was the foreign input in addition to the domestic input?

What we know of Trump, it certainly is not wise to let him alone call the shots. On the surface it appears that it didn’t accomplish much at all, true.

But, “obscuris vera involvens”, to go Latin again.

there seems to be something about the use of poison gas that provokes this sort of response in the civilized western world. The battlefields of WW1 even after 100 years still have a powerful effect on how we view war today. Just imagine, in the first 20 minutes of the Battle of the Somme there were 20,000 British casualties, by the end of the day 60,000. When the German army converged on Moscow in Dec. 1941 and was ready to overrun the City, Joseph Stalin did not deploy poison gas, of which he had copious amounts. In 1945 the 5 million Red Army troops stood before Berlin; Hitler did not use gas as a last ditch effort to defend his city. Hitler himself was gassed in WW1.

LBGTQ and Environmental Movements are converging — creating a sort of lefty united front — and sparks are flying. No, I’m not sh-ttin ya, sparks are really flying. Down in Manhattan, environmental AND LBGTQ attorney David Buckel made a bold statement and set himself on fire a few days ago in a city park, after soaking himself with ‘fossil fuels’. He was in fact protesting the use of coal, oil and natural gas.

according to the NYPost he burned up pretty good and not much was left of the body. The odd thing is the the remains, what was left of them, weren’t discovered right away. Unfortunately for Atty Buckel no one was present to film this eyebrow raising event, so, unlike the monks immolating themselves in Viet Nam in 1966, which shocked the world, the effects of this latest stunt were blunted. Its already out of the news.

But really, what a way to go! And we’re still using ‘fossil fuels’. Imagine NYC operating one day without the use of ‘fossil fuels’.

I was walking across the bridge that connects the east and west campuses of the University of Minnesota over the Mississippi river once a few minutes after someone had jumped many years ago.

It is a couple of hundred feet over the river canyon and the jumper landed head first into a parking lot on the west side of the river.

Bodies have a lot of blood. I did not know how much. The body was under a yellow tarp but the shoes were four feet away from where the feet poked out. The impact must have taken them right off the feet. The blood trail was covered with sawdust and was only washed away a several days later. I imagine someone did not want to do it and was finally told to go wash it away or else. I went across that bridge every day.

No mention of a suicide was listed in the campus or local papers. I was perplexed but as an adult I learned that reports of such things are used as filler and don’t always make the news. At 60 David Buckel would have learned that death in our society is swept away as quickly as possible. That sawdust covered blood trail I saw was an exception. A look of normalcy is generally restored quickly, very quickly. Writing about this I realize the parking lot was probably state owned. I never parked there. If it was private an owner would have been washing the sawdust away at midnight and I’d not have seen it the next day.

David may have had a terminal illness but regardless his statement is empty, with perhaps only the impact of a week’s worth of articles here. No more than that, it that, and then David will be forgotten. That is how it goes.

Learning about peak oil and the amount of oil remaining combined with a knowledge that population has grown exponentially over the years so that now we are far far beyond the carrying capacity of our planet can really mess you up. For someone like David who was dedicating himself to ‘justice’ the knowledge had to be doubly daunting. In his case ‘dangerous thoughts’. For David, better off he had just focused on gay people getting their rights. The ones they already have. I had to throw that last part in and I’m all for them getting a fair shake.

Problem is once you understand a die-off of some kind is inevitable and that the human race could go extinct in the next couple of hundred years you would have had to realize the legacy of a gay rights lawyer is not going to mean shit once excrement hits the fan.

Rights as most people think of them are going to fly out the window like yesterdays news when the going gets tough. Perhaps you can be an ambulance driver in the long emergency but working on gay rights is going to be on the back burner. Climate change will be coped with as best we can but it will not be protested.

David’s whole life would have seen meaningless and that must have devastated him. He was a highly motivated person and people like David want ‘meaning’.

David must have imagined his whole life to be a joke since life as we know it will soon be swept away. David learned this and his identity was all about polishing life as we know it. Making it better. But like sandcastles to be washed away later by tides which can’t ever be stopped, the long emergency is coming and can’t be stopped.

I’m speculating yes, but I have the knowledge which fucked David up. I have a different background and I adjusted differently. I do not see myself as better or worse.

What David learned brought me here years ago after JHK was in a Documentary called The End of Suburbia and had developed the concept of the Long Emergency. Back then I learned about the people most people into Peak Oil knew about. We were, and still are a rather small community. One that is ‘watched’ extensively.

Mike Ruppert, one of us, took his own life four years ago last Friday. Mike was someone who had a great deal of trouble dealing with the reality of our impending Long Emergency. There is speculation Mike’s death was not a suicide (D-state) but Mike Ruppert did have a disposition which could not deal well with the gravity of what he had learned.

Mike was a sensitive soul. At times men like Mike and I suspect David too lose it a bit and imagine nothing but the worst in a fit of depression. The knowledge really can do that to you. I adjusted but I can tell you it was no walk in the park. Sorry David. Some people go off the deep end and can imagine only the worst.

A website for people off the deep end is Nature Bat Last which is run by Guy McPherson who I have met. When I met him only 6 people were in his audience. I also have The Witch of Hebron signed by JHK himself. He spelled my name wrong. He probably does that on purpose. It’s OK. I can take the joke. K-Dogs a P-L-A-Y-A-H!

Guy McPherson has a suicide notice on his website. Seriously, here it is.

      Contemplating Suicide? Please Read This

      July 8, 2014
If you are contemplating suicide, please re-consider. And then click here for awareness, prevention, and support on the topic of suicide. I’m not advocating for or against suicide. […]

      https://guymcpherson.com/

When you actually learn that the end of the world really is nigh it can mess you up.

I however understand feedback theory far better than Guy does and we are not going to turn into a second Venus. Parts of the tropics will however become uninhabitable. Parts larger than we would like. People there will have to move or cook when the wet bulb temperature gets above 92 F.

It really sucks to have a buffoon like Trump dominating our screens. Some mitigation is possible and we could make a national effort out of surviving the long emergency. But I doubt it will happen and I wish I was just sour in saying that. Unfortunately I’m not sour at all but suffering again from knowledge.

Once I became involved with Peak Oil the psychology of the universal denial concerning it fascinated me. I blundered into the machinery of suppression and learned America is not what most Americans think it is. America has ossified into fixed patterns of behavior which can’t be changed. The nail in that coffin was 9-11 when surveillance was introduced to monitor all possible dissent making the status quo the law of the land.

Denial turns out to be in our national interest for the time being and is enforced. It’s not right, but that is the way it is and the war on terror will mean that we will be in denial to our bitter end.

McPherson has lost it I’m sorry to say. His advocacy of imminent extinction is as deranged as the blanket of total denial we live under in America every day. Mcpherson does not get how feedback works and imagines reinforcing feedback loops coiling around us and doing us in as soon as years end. That is nuts. McPherson imagines everything falling apart like a house of cards.
Were I to accept the inevitability of his scenarios which I do not (though it is going to get really bad) feedback loops have a thing called a time constant and the time constants on a planetary scale are long enough so that we have more than a year left.

McPherson does not advocate for or against suicide. I most strongly advocate against it. Perhaps you are out of work and think you are never going to work again. You feel like you want to hang it all up. I was there and then found the best job I’ve ever had. Life can surprise you but a depressed person goes in little loops and can’t see the bigger picture. Dead people can’t be surprised.

McPherson I believe has been targeted by #MeToo. (sort of, it could be a d-state department of #MeToo please don’t let my paranoya annoy ya, definitely not the real thing making me think Ossification-R-Us could be behind it.) that is the ‘defamation’ he refers to if you go to his website. I know nothing of the details but experiencing that and thinking about the ice melting in the north pole too much, turned his twenty year speculation into a mere two.

The poet John Berryman jumped off a bridge in Minnesota.

So it might have been him.

Checked, He was a few years earlier. But it turns out to be the exact same bridge and there was only one parking lot on the west side. I had heard about John Berryman back then but never put two and two together before.

what I saw was a wannabe do themselves in at the exact same spot Berryman jumped and it makes sense why it would not have made the news.

I have to say I don’t mind info that could encourage other suicides being suppressed. Don’t have a problem with that at all.

I know something else about Mlps bridges too. That one that collapsed a few years ago was welded together by drunks who were cutting corners. It was local ‘talk’ when I was in High School. A buddy of mine knew someone who got a job working there and he quit in disgust.

          • K-Dog April 16, 2018 at 2:40 am #

That bridge was only a half mile north or so.

You may be right about this McPherson chap.

He doesn’t seem to be having much fun in his Belize hideout, and he’s taking this end of time BS way too seriously.

Hey Guy, if you’re looking in, lighten up for Chrissake, or you’ll end up like Mr. Buckel.

If I were in sunny Belize and not in NE where right now its cold and sleeting like a sonofabitch I’d be downing ice cold Red Stripes and grilling a slab of grouper on the back patio, Jimmy Buffet on the radio.

Originally I was a fan because he was the only one trying to bring attention to arctic methane. He started out pretty reasonable respecting science and wanting more of it done up there, thats the point right! He was heavy on the doom and gloom side but I figured that was his shtick. If you are going to present truth on a dinner theater circuit embellishment of a little truth is reasonable to make a good show as long as you don’t stray too far from the truth since people are coming for a message.

But in Guy’s case the message seems to have shot the messenger. Along with a little help from outside influences.

Good post, K. It’s late so I’ll just say I’m fortunate not to have those problems. My attitudes toward Death, however it comes, have hardened over the years. Make the most of Life, that’s all we can do.

Who knows Buckel’s pain? My glib post above doesn’t mean to slight him. Just my stance toward the Reaper. Kind of don’t deny him, just defy him.

Your immersion here seems deep, so lighten it up now and then. Always remember that there are caring people out there, even if you are on your own. And Nature is still, yes still, available.

No time for my blood story. Peace.

Yes I have been here a lot lately. But not to worry I am into other things and I have a pretty good life. Thanks for the thought.

But really, what a way to go! And we’re still using ‘fossil fuels’. Imagine NYC operating one day without the use of ‘fossil fuels’.”

      BRH,
Better yet, imagine NYC without lawyers…

    New Army joke:

    President Trump:
    – Get ready Russia, because they [missiles] will be coming, nice and new and “smart!”

    Russian Electronic warfare (EW) operator:
    – Ok, now. Nice and new go pound sand on the left, the smart – on the right!

Interceptions of US and British missiles in the sky over Syria
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_L_6domg9wY

French were MIA (missing in action).

105 missiles were fired, 72 were intercepted, no casualties.

All intercepts were done by old S-200 Soviet 1970s systems; none of the missile was flying through a Russian zone of responsibility.

Americans and British went into great depth to avoid releasing missile from the Eastern part of Mediterranean where the main Russian naval forces are located, and came from the south – Americans most likely flying from Diego Garcia, and British from their base in Cyprus after making a long detour to the South.

I have a hunch that new Russian radars were involved to help target older S200 Syrian missiles.

Overall impression: a joint Russian-American exercises to test new
