NEWA New Video Message From Your Blogger JHK

The memory hole that appeared in America’s zeitgeist around 2016 is expanding like some evil cosmic rot. Things happen and then things unhappen and after a while it’s like they never happened. For instance, little seems to have happened all summer long with the matter known as RussiaGate, the attempt by high US government officials to overthrow the result of the 2016 election by pretending that Russia was trying to interfere in the 2016 election.

Quite a confection of lies and subterfuge. It apparently grew out of an effort at the highest levels of the Obama administration well before 2016 to run so-called intel operations against the perceived enemies of Mr. Obama’s foreign policy. One target was General Michael Flynn, who until 2014 had headed the Defense Intelligence Agency, which is devoted to military intel analysis. General Flynn was known to be unfavorably disposed to Mr. Obama’s deal to pay billions to Iran for a halt in that country’s nuclear weapons program.

After retiring, General Flynn set up his own intel consulting company, which had two clients in Russia: a short-hop airline and a cyber-security firm owned by a holding company in Britain. In late 2015, General Flynn attended a Moscow dinner for Russia Today (RT) where he sat next to Vladimir Putin and gave a speech for which he was paid $45,000. Note: at that point, General Flynn was a private citizen and we were not at war with Russia. It was one of many European nations that Americans were allowed to do business in.

My own heuristic analysis is that rival Intel chief, John Brennan of the CIA, enlisted British Intel “asset” (i.e., agent) Joseph Mifsud to sandbag General Flynn in order to put him out of business and shove him offstage. The scheme failed, and soon the General was seen around rallies for candidate Donald Trump. In one notorious scene at the Republican convention, he castigated his former colleague Hillary Clinton and joined in the crowd’s chant to “lock her up.” I’m sure that went over well with Mrs. Clinton and all the Obama administration honchos then still running the CIA, the FBI, and the DOJ.

After Mr. Trump won the 2016 election, he moved to appoint General Flynn as his National Security Advisor. Within a few days, FBI director James Comey pulled off an entrapment gambit to incriminate General Flynn over a conversation he had with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak — as if incoming high officials for foreign policy are not supposed to associate with foreign ambassadors. You understand now that the government had continued its surveillance of General Flynn for years, including tapping his phone when he moved into his White House office. That enabled Mr. Comey to set up a perjury trap. The General was successfully sandbagged this time, kicked offstage, and conned into a guilty plea. He’s been awaiting sentencing for more than a year.

A few months ago, General Flynn fired his old lawyers and hired Sidney Powell, an attorney who literally wrote the book on discovering prosecutorial misconduct in the case of Alaska Senator Ted Stevens, whose prosecution over Mickey Mouse comped hotel bills was thrown out of court by the same Judge, Emmet Sullivan, who presides in the US versus Flynn. Ms. Powell has now declared that she intends to prove “egregious prosecutorial conduct” and suppression of exculpatory evidence against the DOJ lawyers who ran the case against General Flynn. The government never would have had a case if they revealed the FBI’s internal memos on General Flynn.

Attorney Powell is seeking to have the case thrown out of court. The FBI and the DOJ lawyers who conducted the prosecution have stonewalled the court on producing the documents at issue. Judge Sullivan may sense that he’s seen this movie before. The case took on a life of its own long before William Barr was confirmed as attorney general and one wonders if he has any role in ending this damaging farce. Legal protocol may require Judge Sullivan to complete the case one way or another. I wrote in this space a year ago that General Flynn had been subject to prosecutorial misconduct. Now, I’ll venture to assert that if Judge Sullivan does not throw the case out, Mr. Trump will step in and pardon General Flynn, and in doing so will make it clear exactly how and why he was run into court in the first place.

The case against General Flynn was an intersection between all the malign forces operating in RussiaGate: rogue high government officials, the vengeful Mrs. Clinton, her allies in the media, and  the ass-covering of figures in Barack Obama’s White House inner circle. The case needs to be resolved to plug the memory hole in American political life.

Meanwhile, all indications are that former acting FBI director Andrew McCabe is about to be frog-marched into an indictment for his part in the epic, many-tentacled RussiaGate intrigue. Perhaps today. Many of the other well-known players will follow. Until they do, the Justice branch of the US government may be considered an enemy of the people.

Great assessment, Jim. This was an epic move against a newly elected president, the GGG. Someone needs to go to jail.

Preferably lots of deep state minions. The whole epic fuck-up smells remarkably like the week old carp held in the vaults of the TBTF banks circa 2009…

          Nothing particularly “American” about that.

Yes, someone should go to jail. And that someone is Donald Trump who’s using the presidency to further enrich himself with treasury money. The fool that writes this blog, and to whom you genuflect, is nothing more than Trump apologist.

Flynn is one of the biggest swamp denizens around and is more pissed about his inability now to cash in on his short brush with Dump. He’s always been detested at both DOD and DIA. His biggest foes were always JSOC spooks who couldn’t rely on his DIA info and political slant during Rummies time. Just another Rhode Island boy gone bad in the big city with boots too short and saggy for the deep water he got into. How that 373 missed his office at the Pentagon is beyond me. His coming pardon will seal his fate.

None of this should be controversial. But today’s “progressive” Democrats and their allies such as the warmongering neocons, do not believe in the rule of law, they believe in obtaining power by any means necessary.

If I don’t like you it is OK for me to lie, cheat and steal to get you because you are so bad.

Blind spot on the left as to how evil that mindset is…

      • capt spaulding September 13, 2019 at 11:51 am #

People on the right are equally culpable when it comes to dirty tricks. For example, Mitch McConnell putting Obama’s nomination for the Supreme Court on hold, and then saying that if Trump proposes one in the last year of HIS term, he will let it go forward. There are no shining examples of saintliness on either side. Wash DC is a sewer, and everything there smells like shit.

        • fugeguy September 13, 2019 at 12:00 pm #

Can’t argue but this is more of an example of politics plus in the open.

Either side will stick a knife in your back for sure. At the moment the left with say they did it because your deserved it and it was your own fault. Murder either way I suppose.

        • Janos Skorenzy September 13, 2019 at 12:47 pm #

The Left got hold of the Supreme Court by dirty tricks. Now decent people must take it back by the same. Well, more decent anyway….

    • MickfrmDelhi September 14, 2019 at 10:01 am #

That’s so undemocratic of them. Why do Dems have to play nice while the McConnell’s of the world stand back and point and do absolutely nothing until they are once again in the minority. Then all the things they didn’t do are now high crimes when Dems don’t do them.

      • benr September 14, 2019 at 10:52 am #

All this noise over Russia, while their neighbor to the East has a size and budget that dwarfs Russia’s. Up until recently they had been profiting handsomely from business as usual until it was Their Turn at superpowerdom. I imagine the 2020 election will see unprecedented Chinese interference in attempt to get back to the good old days when they could steal our jobs and tech with impunity. We need to straight up end trade with China, for our own security and for the climate as well since global shipping emissions would be the 6th biggest CO2 emitter if it was a country. http://www.reddit.com/r/GreenNationalism

    • harryflashmanhigson September 13, 2019 at 10:31 am #

But Russia hold the most monstrous trove of untapped resources left in the world. Their far eastern areas haven’t really been touched yet, except locally. The carpetbaggers moved in in the early nineties and were heaved out wholesale by Bad Vlad Putin in the early aughts. He reckoned Russian resources should be for Russians and not Israelis or Americanskis…

Hail and well met Flashie you old cad. Glad to see you have taken time from your normal poltroonery to grace the CFN salon. You should fit in well.

For those not acquainted with Sir Harry Flashman I suggest you read his series of adventures. I would further suggest that one start with the second book of the series as many can’t seem to understand poor Ol’ Flashie when first introduced.

A big hello to all my other acquaintances here in the CFN salon. I see things appear to be as they were prior to my brief hiatus. Actually things are the same as they have been since we crawled out of the primordial ooze. Yes, yes technology has changed dramatically since that fateful day but humans and their antics remain the same.

Speaking of technological change, the biggest and most profound is the way we communicate about the same ol’ things. Nowadays we bitch to each other using the Internet vs the time honored gathering at the bar with a glass and bottle near to hand.

Regardless of one’s communication preferences I do submit that “I would rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.”

          Now that’s syncronicity.

I stumble upon your post just 2 seconds after I uncorked a cold Sam Adams. After we drink enough of these we will be stumbling around the property.

          Brh

          • Sam Stone September 13, 2019 at 2:13 pm #

Sam Adams is a pretty darn good beer I think. Not quite a craft beer but far superior in taste to all the run of the mill Coors, Buds, et al, commercial crap. Enjoy my friend. Prosit!

          • Sam Stone September 13, 2019 at 2:45 pm #

…and speaking of stumbling around the property I need to put this tablet down and climb aboard my garden tractor to mow for what should be the last time this season. No rain in the forecast, warm days and increasingly cooler nights brings an end to Summer and our short growing season.

Looking forward to another Rocky Mountain Autumn. The aspens will be putting on their yearly spectacle very soon now.

It is bad enough that the politicians sold out to the banksters and the corporations, but once the agencies that were established to insure justice sold out as well, what hope does this nation have left? In fact, when you really think about it, pretty much every institution including the education system has sold us out and the only hold out to sellout would be We the People. I do not know where we go to seek a buyout, but perhaps it is time that we were compensated too for looking the other way, no?

The really interesting part about the exposure of this rather vast conspiracy, is that it demolishes the anti-truther argument regarding 9/11, that there is no way a cabal of individuals within the US government could have been involved in the destruction of the towers as information surely would have leaked to the public.

      And we have this:

      https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-09-05/major-university-study-finds-fire-did-not-bring-down-tower-7-911

“As TFTP reported in December, for the first time since 9/11 the federal government is taking steps to hear evidence that explosives may have been used to destroy the world trade centers.

The Lawyers’ Committee for 9/11 Inquiry successfully submitted a petition to the federal government demanding that the U.S. Attorney present to a Special Grand Jury extensive evidence of yet-to-be-prosecuted federal crimes relating to the destruction of three World Trade Center Towers on 9/11 (WTC1, WTC2 and WTC7).

After waiting months for the reply, the U.S. Attorney responded in a letter, noting that they will comply with the law.”

If only they manage to get Shrub and co. before they croak.

      • Ol' Scratch September 13, 2019 at 10:47 am #

Great post, but you’re wasting your breath with most of this crowd. The truth about 9-11 would bring down the governments of both the US and Israel and have considerable collateral damage far beyond. Won’t happen in our lifetimes.

        • Walter B September 13, 2019 at 11:51 am #

Nightowl is right about conspiracy being exposed here on a huge, national level as the rabid sellouts of the DOJ clearly do a lot of conspiring in the back rooms with their wealthy masters. You too are correct Ol’ Scratch that the truth might bring total chaos, though I would bet on the NIMBY principle allowing the people to simply not care because it did not happen to them. (that’s Not In My Back Yard).

          • Nightowl September 13, 2019 at 12:01 pm #

Walter, don’t forget senior officials at the FBI and CIA, and corrupt elements in the federal courts and among 5EYES intelligence partners … just to name a few more.

The scale is hard to fathom, even for someone as jaded as myself. And based on many of the clues we have seen so far, it appears we have an ex-president who could be brought up on sedition charges.

          • MickfrmDelhi September 14, 2019 at 3:41 pm #

Nightowl, yes, but it was for such a good cause. Once all that oil is burned the security state will really be in business. That has become the business of government. Keeping you safe and shut up.

        • K-Dog September 13, 2019 at 11:58 am #

The truth can’t come out and ‘Science’ is denied very easily in America. The truth is simple. I saw the original footage. I saw the columns explode like a zipper throwing out puffs of dust from the top of the towers down. It took about a second for the thermite charges to go all the way from the burning top down. A lot of people saw what I saw. Most can’t deal with it and the adage.

          “Can’t believe your lying eyes.”

          That is the true story.

At the end of the day perhaps it will be revealed the towers were pulled. So what. It was done to prevent public panic and had nothing to do with nut-ball conspiracy. That the charges only went in six weeks earlier we won’t talk about. That will be the story line. If there was any real threat to the official line it would be suppressed if anyone is still confused by my ramblings. Only red herrings will be allowed.

The scrap steel was shipped to China. It is gone but the theatre of this goes on.

          • Nightowl September 13, 2019 at 12:06 pm #

Sure, but it would be even better to point out the times it took the buildings to fall. Objects falling at or near free fall need a path free of obstacles to continue travelling downward in free fall. The entire interior and all support columns needed to be pulverized — at once.

This is the central argument over at A&E, and it is irrefutable.

          • K-Dog September 13, 2019 at 12:14 pm #

You do understand I totally agree but proving the towers were pulled I say, brings no meat home to dinner.

          • Janos Skorenzy September 13, 2019 at 12:55 pm #

Who was the guy who said Bldg 7 had to be “pulled”? It was a public health hazard! Just like every library in the world is a fire hazard. They should all be pulled.

And then there was the Brit News Bint who announced it before it had happened….

How can you create if you don’t first destroy? Pulling is good because it creates jobs, in demolition and construction. Shiva and Brahma. Firemen work for Vishnu the Preserver – and he is the Enemy of Capitalism.

Does Seattle want to tear down all its old building because they aren’t up to earthquake code? Just an excuse for more of the above. Firemen should be redirected to burning libraries before they catch fire.

          • MickfrmDelhi September 14, 2019 at 3:47 pm #

Building 7 was the weak link in their story, not to mention that at no time in the history of the world had a steel framed building ever fall because of a fire. Never. It happened 3 times in 9 hours on 9/11/01. That was hubris at work. Kill 3000 so you can justify the killing of 1 million more. They will pay in eternity.

Nightowl you are naive. Ignored whisledblowers don’t make news. They just fade away and ALL NEWS LOCAL OR OTHERWISE in AMERICA MUST be processed through an email exchange or the public can’t see it. That stops 99% of truth andthe remaining 1% is stopped by other means.

Homeland Security notified all news agencies to require an initial email contact from anyone with news to report years ago. It was done at the same time that a few unexplained freedoms were quashed by the rape and indignity of the patriot act.

Cognitive dissonance stops remaining leaks. The Overton window is stuck shut. The fact is until the Deep State actually fucks with you, the idea that such things happen in AMERICA is a notion far to afield for an average brain.

Once fucked with then you find out most people don’t care about being surveiled anyway. To care about being surveiled requires a certain amount of exposure to knowledge. More exposure to knowledge than American mainstream sources will ever provide. If they provided such knowledge they would not be mainstream for concern for privacy is contrary to the dogma of patriotism.

If you don’t think the deep state has the knowledge to suppress, think again. They in fact are so good at it they are getting Google You-Tube and all the others to do their suppression for them now.

The DS is all about distance and deniability. Why come up with a cover story when you can design it in! Why have false flag terrorists when all you have to do is quietly farm real ones and just have a few key people look the other way when the farmed madmen are ripe and ready to go. One can say this is a technique that was not banned in Boston.

Have yourself a nice thick slice of patriotic duty Nightowl. You earned it. Care for some coffee?

        • Nightowl September 13, 2019 at 11:18 am #

I am trying to conceive of how you might have misunderstood my post, but am coming up empty. If you based your response on my final comment, consider that I don’t think it will ever happen.

That said, proof of the 9/11 farce going to a special federal grand jury and forcing MSM exposure would certainly be nice, however.

          Perhaps read again.

          • K-Dog September 13, 2019 at 11:43 am #

Perhaps try not to cultivate confusion?

Alas, its too late for Flynn, he’s lost everything, including the house he lived in and his reputation as a Marine General. I’m not sure if he kept his pension.

I was astonished when they were able to take down Bernard Kerik, too. It was mickey mouse charges, his real crime was his friendship with Rudy Guliani and his willingness to serve in the Bush Administration.

      BRH,

It seems General Flynn has become a hero of sorts, and I agree that he should be pardoned. But, in that case, and for different reasons, why not Julian Assange too? They are both high profile victims of the Deep State.

Regarding Flynn, I’m not too upset that he was relieved of his duties. He was every bit the Iran superhawk as Bolton, and perhaps he would have been more effective in persuading Trump to pull the trigger. In his short tenure, I do remember Flynn addressing the nation as he “Put Iran on Notice!” Btw, I’m curious as to why Mr. Kunstler did not address Bolton’s sudden firing.

      • outsider September 13, 2019 at 12:34 pm #

And, please correct me if I’m wrong, but, my understanding is that, as part of the nuclear deal, Iran was just getting back its illegally impounded money. It didn’t cost the taxpayers a dime.

It may be the several moves by Obama administration in late months of 2016 shall be seen in a new light. The late inning Jerusalem move aimed at kissing up to Islam was just one in a pattern.

The Iran Nuclear deal was a phony on the face of it, with a number of Iranian military bases off limits to inspection, a deal breaker in itself. Worse, obvious, comprehensive & chronic Iranian (Qods/Hezballah) bloody meddling in lands around Iran. And, what should any legitimate US Secretary of State have to do with Iran when they have never ceased promising obliteration and expunging of Israel?

One last red flag to mention: Mr. Obama’s order for all US covert agencies to share intelligence. Now, wouldn’t that make it a bit harder to stop leaks? The sort of leaks plaguing the incoming administration on a daily basis?

This writer’s normal habit of suggesting rehab of agricultural district branch rail lines is still in mind, owing to likely EMP/Cyberwarfare impacts to US food distribution via motor transport. Iran will be a player in this strategy: US being their “Great Satan” of record

Let the wealthy Silicon Valley magnates ponder wisdom of adopting/fixing farm branch railways even as they hasten automation of trucking; making food distribution ever more susceptible to sabotage… Wealth expressed in electrons is a delusion.

Famine Hedge does not register in minds tuned to hedge funds…

The leaks were actually a good thing in many ways. Trump famously said, “The leaks are real but the news is fake.”

They were feeding fake stories to specific individuals in order to weed them out, as well as to expose the press once they fell over themselves to report said fake news. It has been and continues to be quite effective. Once SpyGate is fully revealed, the media will be a husk of itself in the credibility department.

Watching this unfold in real time has been truly great.

Here on Clusterfuck Nation I can always expect to read the most vilifying screed of damnation & hellfire directed at whomever seems to resonate the most derisive condemnation out of the whole cohort of Democrats that have ever existed since time immemorial.

I am a Liberal from Canada that looks over the political fence every week for progress of some sort on the American side and all I can read of late is intractably politically partisan to the point of making it difficult to see reason between either political camp. Each party is entrenched & mired in a failing macroeconomic landscape that will literally destroy the entire USA and all political systems that purportedly guide it as a corporation but the populous is far too intractably entrenched in political partisanship to ever notice.

All of the Western central banks involved in the Western Banking empire are moving swiftly now to lower central banking interest rates to zero, and negative on the long bonds for yield. Disaster in terms of global finance & macroeconomic development will ensue promptly to render all that which comprises the political domain to be of secondary importance compared to the lack of monetary funding that is just about to financially finish off world markets & economies writ large across the world.

Crypto-currency will be the only political topic de jour in a short timeframe from now given that all the central banks are going to go into negative territory just because Cheeto values overinflated stock market valuations for purposes of falsely inflating his own political worth as a person & political hopeful for the 2020 political gladiator games that are backed by ‘superpacks’ of greenbacks and nothing more of substance.

And of course we knew they were going to do those very things sooner or later, because once the genie of deflationary compression gets out of the bottle, there’s just no putting back in. * Machete attack at Eaton Centre 2015:
          https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/machete-attack-near-eaton-centre-1.3379060
//Yip also tweeted that the attacker, a black man, yelled “F–k white people” before allegedly attacking the victim, who is white. He said the alleged attacker’s machete was “probably the length of my arm. It was pretty big, a substantial weapon.”//

Here’s a true story from Canada. Around the same time that the Lakota were massacring and torturing white people in Minnesota the Chicoltin began attacking white people in what is now BC. They began by raiding the ferry point, murdering the ferryman and stealing all the supplies. They then proceeded to launch a sneak attack on some surveyors, pulling the tents down on the heads of the sleeping men and beating them all to death while they were helplessly trapped. They then murdered a farmer who had fed them over the winter and set fire to his house. In all they murdered 22 people over the span of a couple of days.
The Indians were caught or surrendered, and 5 were put on trial and hanged.
Fast forward to 2016. The descendants of these murdering savages where whining so loudly, and since Canada has a fairie for a prime minister he actually apologized, and declared that Canada was sorry

I would also recommend Duchesne’s sobering Canada In Decay: Mass Immigration, Diversity, and the Ethnocide of Euro-Canadians.
I have been to Toronto about 10 times in the past 30 years, and every time I go the city looks wearier for the multiculturalism–diversity which it has brought on itself. It was an amazing place to visit back in the early 90s.
High-IQ immigrants from China, India, etc, will not really help to create any kind of cohesive society, and will take the jobs from much better, smarter, born assimilated whites.
As far as selecting “high grade” migrants (a policy which is apparently being eroded) we have simply invited a higher level of competition.

That’s fine if you’re a soulless multinational, but doesn’t serve the needs of Canadians. It’s the introduction of new subspecies. (Hey Phil, the dandelions are doing great.) which disrupts the ecology. We are already becoming a lower-trust and less coherent country. As Prime Minister trudeau would have it, we are a “post-national state” and hence the state is built to serve the globe, not the people of Canada.
You need to spend time in Vancouver (been there, done that) where in fact it is the Asians and the Dot Indians who are the most violent and murderous.
Surrey (should be called curry) is a cesspool.
            Burnaby is a dump.
Vancouver is a shithole and Richmond is China east. .. They hate us.
            They will never integrate.
They only want dominion over us.

Don’t fool yourself into thinking because you don’t see it or hear that it isnt so. Liberal policies dictate the agenda and MSM dictates the narrative.

You’ve never actually been to the areas in Canada transformed by this mass immigration. “Selecting for high IQ migrants” isn’t so. Canada gets plenty of low IQ third worlders who’ve turned previously nice areas into dangerous, crime-ridden slums. Even the high IQ ones like Chinese have their own crime which includes smuggling in deadly drugs like fentanyl and variants.
The crime rate increase and foreigners being the lion’s share is of course, just like everywhere else, what whites get blamed for. Whites also get blamed for the fact these people end up in prison more often, but the government has this one weird trick of never publishing crime statistics with a racial breakdown so the unfalsifiable claim of whites doing a racism being the culprit of this disparity is never really challenged, but since it’s part of top-down state propaganda the ignorant masses “know” that it must be true.
2031 sounds about right, maybe plus 5 to 10 years.

The government’s own projections about a decade ago was whites as an absolute minority by 2036 (down from 99% in the 1960s census numbers), and immigration has ramped up since then. Most of the people they bring in are either foreigners who draw more than they put in, or are very corrupt and take advantage of all sorts of things in a fraudulent fashion which lead to the breakdown of a high trust society, for example new rich Chinese who then also use the welfare systems since they don’t declare their financial status.

Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau’s government hired my Chartered Accountant father back in 1971 and I’m merely supporting the current Trudeau government out of loyalty to a fine PM and his son.

Prime Minister Justine Trudeau is a kind hearted person and he is much more of a Marxist than the alternative politicians one could select from in Parliament.

Trudeau the younger is also very supportive of women and the fact that they have been disenfranchised with respect to our legislatures and gender parity in politics.

Trudeau is also a Canadian aristocrat that is intuitively cognizant of the wealth divide across Canada. He is a strong leader and he stands on his own two feet knowing how to fight politically given his upbringing and father who raised him to be leadership material for Canada’s Parliamentary system.

    1. Starting November 25, 2016 all orders issued on behalf of Barack Obama, were in fact issued by Hillary Clinton, who overthrew Obama right after elections.

    2. Nobody seems to be interested what was the topic of conversation of General Flynn with Russian Ambassador Kislyak – and it was the discussion of save evacuation of 35 Russian diplomats and their families – all together over 120 people – from United States to avoid them violating “Obama administration” 72 hours expulsion order given on the eve of New Year, since it was impossible to comply within the normal airline schedule.

So general Flynn arranged for the Russian Charter plane to land in Washington on New Year’s Day and the land transportation to Washington airport from other cities.

    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-38484735

Diplomats from New York and other cities had to travel with their families by specially arranged buses.

There is no doubt that if diplomats violated the 72 hour expulsion order, they would have been arrested right in the airport, just like Pavel Borodin, the head of the Union of Russia and Belarus was arrested in January 2001 having come to the inauguration of George W. Bush on his invitation.

Obviously, that would be a diplomatic crisis of unprecedented proportions eclipsing even the Tehran Embassy crisis of 1979.

That would have created a casus belli to start a nuclear exchange between Russian Federation and the United States.

I heard that whole story from the mouth of Maria Vladimirovna Zakharova, Spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation on TV Program of Vladimir Solovyov TV program in plain Russian.

So General Flynn got railroaded by the Deep State for serving his country too well and avoiding a disastrous conflict, saving countless lives.

All indications may be that McCabe is in real deep shit, with a team of lawyers sharpening their knives, the institutional appurtenances of the American legal system in its might and majesty set to adjudicate this grimy affair.

If only. Comey already got one get-out-of-jail card. And while you might interpret that as prosecutors saving their powder for more substantive issues against Comey, it might be otherwise, it might also be that there is exactly zero stomach in the deep State to go after people generally seen as patriots, doing their God-given duty to do what was good and right.

I think that whether or not the chief actors in this mess see the inside of a courtroom let alone a jail cell, the damage is done. The question of what is permissible in the contest to transfer presidential power between contending factions has already been answered, the answer provided by the ludicrous white-wash of the Clinton pay-to-play machine and also Hillary’s monumentally irresponsible usage of home servers for State Department communications, the preposterous prosecution of General Flynn, the years long foot-dragging of the Mueller “investigation” into this Russiagate baloney.
And also what I think will be the unapologetic obstruction into further investigation of Deep State actors. Is Brennan facing legal peril? I doubt it.

Are there limits to what shit can be pulled to keep a rival from gaining power? Are there lines which prosecutors don’t dare cross? Is there any act that an intel agency won’t contemplate?

The issues here are both big and small, the small being as small as people that know one another sticking together, a bigger issue being one of class solidarity, a bigger issue still being that of a ruling elite being fully invested in a global production and trading scheme that Trump and some people outside the governing cliques are seemingly trying to dismantle.

In the latter issue there’s uncountable billions at stake. It’s an all-in proposition for the American capitalist class, and also billionaire Chinese communists relying on an endless train of container ships disgorging their wares on western shores for their grip on power. Even if this system was built from the start with illogic at its core, festooned with demolition charges, it will be defended to the end.

And if you doubt the unworkability of this global misarrangement, the ECB is going NIRP and Trump is railing for a zero Fed rate. What many of us know in our bones we can also see with our own two eyes, and so can the many-headed throngs stretching from Hong Kong to the shores of Old Blighty.

It’s not racism and stupidity as the bi-coastal intelligentsia would have it, it’s the gap between the paycheck and the monthly rent. That’s what it is, and if you think otherwise, just ask accountant Billy Tung in Hong Kong, who’s supposed to work six or seven days a week, who’s stuck in an apartment partitioned for six renters and who’s had enough and who now takes to the streets with a couple million other Hong Kongers. Billy is so royally screwed, just imagine, an expensively educated professional that can’t contemplate an age-old human drive, a life with a wife and kids in a premises big enough to accommodate them. Imagine someone less educated. And there’s millions like him in that place.

The fat-asses have got a choke-hold on people like Billy, and they’re screwing them mercilessly, just like Wall Street and the Davos gang elsewhere.

This can’t go on, the strangle-hold of the vampire squid has to loosen. The backdrop is one where the shot-callers fucked it all up pure and simple, where the economics don’t pan out, the numbers don’t scan, and people can’t make a go of it.The choice is now between controlled demolition and uncontrolled collapse. That’s the choice, and the drama in Washington is just one of the eddies in the torrent of global events taking shape.

My guess is they choose uncontrolled collapse, betting on making a go of it in the aftermath. I think they greatly overestimate their chances and their abilities in general and their ability in particular at directing events. In short, my bet is that they lose the bet.

Women are usually much smarter than men are, Volodya. It’s a fact of life that is borne out in terms of statistics for graduates of degrees across all domains of science. Most graduates of the world are women today but men still occupy all the positions of authority governance wise.

I always assumed that women chose their partner based upon being more intelligent than the individuals that they marry. If your wife thinks she is smarter than you I would suspect that she is right on that one, eh.

You are gulled very easily, Bob. With this kind of masochism at play, no wonder women divorce men 70% of the time. They want someone better than themselves, Bob. And they will test you on that. If you give in, you lose big time because you’ve just lost their respect.

“I think they greatly overestimate their chances and their abilities in general and their ability in particular at directing events. In short, my bet is that they lose the bet. ”

My bet is that most of them have hedged their bets.

An anecdote: In the Fall of 1987 I was working as a stockbroker, when the SHTF in the stock market there was no surprise amongst the brokers in our office or company, there was a fatalistic sense of “Yep, we knew it was coming,” (not that they knew WHEN it was coming).

Another anecdote: A month or two before Black Monday, when the market was acting very “toppy,” the chief investment strategist of our very large company appeared on CNBC on a Friday to assure the world that everything was rosy and not to worry. The following Monday we were all hauled into the conference room and told that what “Joe” had said on TV was BS and we needed to sell as much as we could as fast as we could because pretty soon it was going to be hard to sell anything.

He was knowingly, intentionally, spreading BS on nationwide TV – and this was from a very prestigious organization.

One question is to what degree nowadays do they believe their own bullshit. If you’re trying to prop up an unsustainable regime is it better to believe your own lies? Or not?

So, back then in the case of your compadres, they evidently didn’t. They didn’t drink the public Kool-aid. I suspect that a lot of guys in that business didn’t. We know the history. In the following train of events, the sucker didn’t go to zero. The markets survived.

So, what about now? You’re right, I suppose they’ll hedge their bets. Or already have. At least some will or already have. Monied opinion after all isn’t a total monolith. After it hits the fan it will be interesting to see which of them is left upright. The guys that lose are the ones that drink the Kool-aid. The ones that live are the ones that didn’t. As Andy Grove said, only the paranoid survive.

It’s a zero-sum game, money changes hands, somebody wins, somebody loses.

The global supply chain is more complicated than the familiar story of “made in China” wage-labor arbitrage. I don’t disagree with the Bannon-esque condemnation of the arbitrage and destruction of industry and workers, although we all must ask ourselves whether we would buy the “Made in USA” nuts and bolts at Home Depot sold at a premium price versus the less expensive Chinese. But I have direct experience that in some cases high and sometimes not-high value-added Chinese manufacturing is selected for superior quality and reliability.

It may be that the only possible way to manage the global debt misalignment over a long time horizon is via negative rates, as preposterous as that seems. Choose your poison: catastrophic hyper-inflation or the steady drip-drip negative return on Treasuries.

Actually, the USA is number one on third world regime change, and is an absolute #1 on USA military bases dotted throughout the world too.

The USA is honestly top ranked number one on freedom of speech too. Not one country in this world can compete with the USA on freedom of speech or the understanding of how important it is to freedom whether political or otherwise. Americans have no idea of how important freedom of speech really is in the grand scheme of things.

Billy, like you I don’t see good alternatives, only varying degrees of bad. Another way of what you’re saying is do you want to lose your money slowly via negative interest rates or all at once in a financial collapse.

What did we do during the crash of 08-09? We saved Wall Street. According to a multitude of accounts I read in the immediate aftermath, it was business as usual, just with different name-plates on the doors once the shot-gun marriages of insolvent Wall Street investment businesses with semi-insolvent banks were done. One big pile of poop hiding two smaller ones in other words. But business as usual it was.

The consequence? Multiple financial time-bombs ticking, Deutsche Bank disemboweling itself, numbers now looking even shittier than they did back then. So if things were untenable ten years ago, what about now?

One lesson from the Great Depression (and yes, I know, a lot of people suffered mightily) was that bad behavior stopped. Banks went bust, in downtown Manhattan it was raining bankers, a lot of the miscreants finding themselves walking down the street kicking stones, carrying their asses in a pail if they weren’t going splat on the pavement that is.

Not now though. Bad behavior is propped up. Can’t make a go of it? Things are looking ever more risky, more more disaster-prone? We lower interest rates, going negative, giving more fuel for an even bigger cock-up.

Will Wall Street show any forbearance? No chance, it’s like Chuck Prince said (he was the head of Citi), while the music is playing you have to get up and dance.

Right now the music is still playing. So pick your poison. Lose it slowly or do a purge.

in downtown Manhattan it was raining bankers, – vol

          =============

This is largely a myth. Sure, there were a few suicides but bankers and brokers were not leaping out windows to their deaths in droves.

Yes, we need a humane Socialism, one that take humanity as it is into account. A National Socialism in other words, not a ruthless Capitalism/Communism committed to absolute Global Power, via consumerism, advertising, social engineering, and police state intrusion into our personal lives.

And that means borders and an end to mass immigration. A multi-hued and multi-cultural mob cannot defeat the Plutocrats or their Communist henchmen.

      • Epicur September 14, 2019 at 7:35 am #

There is no “humane” way to deal with the “free rider” problem, which is why socialism can never survive as a humane system.

In a pure free market, free riders (those who do not participate in the market, but live off it) are dependent on charity or criminality. There are no other options (I’m not arguing that his is humane, just that this is how it works).

Human sympathies are not resonant with such harshness so we put in “safety nets”. Social safety nets are open to abuse and manipulation (free riding), and many human beings are very prone to both, just as a smaller portion of a population is prone to stealing or bullying.

Free riders eventually force a social system to become “inhumane” or bankrupt it.

No matter what we do, we are “doomed” to oscillate between florescence and decay.

        • Epicur September 14, 2019 at 8:06 am #

The above is to say nothing about the fact that humans in positions of power, i.e. those in charge of administering socialism, are very prone to abuse of power.

          /yet another Spanish Inquisition sketch

        • Janos Skorenzy September 14, 2019 at 1:13 pm #

Well obviously, there must be discipline. Corporate Executives who hire illegals should be perped walked out, thrown in prison and socially destroyed. Can you image how much that would boost social morale? Oh that isn’t what you meant? I know, but why? As if criminality only exists in the lower levels of society?

No leniency on them either – once things are put right that is. First things first. Start with the architects of this evil system and then try and help the victims. You plug the leak and then clean up, right?

          • Epicur September 15, 2019 at 9:12 am #

Systems are not evil, they only vary in the extent to which they permit or restrain varieties of human activities. But one cannot restrain destructive forces without also limiting constructive forces.

Stability is a human desire and dream, but Nature is not interested in either. Homeostasis is a tool, not a goal.

“If only it were all so simple! If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being.” – Alexander Solzhenitsyn

          • Janos Skorenzy September 15, 2019 at 11:55 am #

Some systems – like Communism – are created by evil people as an expression of their evil and as a way of foisting it on other people. Thus it is Evil. I really doubt that Solzhenitsyn thought any differently given that he spoke against it passionately for decades.

Like most Americans, you’re good at getting simple things wrong. You think he didn’t believe there were evil people based on that passage, right? As I said.

        • Majella September 15, 2019 at 6:21 pm #

Epicur – doesn’t ‘free-riders’ include trust-fund brats, the 3rd or 4th (or even more) generations of larcenous business success?

And what about the corporate welfare trough? Are these not ‘free-riders’ too, where they take as much as they can grift from the public purse while doing anything possible to eliminate their tax duty?

    • MC Hammerabi September 13, 2019 at 1:52 pm #

I used to struggle mightily with the idea of zero interest rates & negative interest rates. Basic issue for me was: why would I pay someone to take my money (negative interest rate)? Being dense, but dogged, it finally occurred to me: magic money. Interest is nice, but not necessary when the money wasn’t yours to start with. Just magically appears at origination.

Ever notice how everyone comments about politicians’ gamesmanship, but there’s never any questions, debate about what they are doing for the state and for their constituents? It appears that democrats gave the House to their elected officials for the sole purpose of making trouble for Donald Trump.

    • volodya September 13, 2019 at 12:26 pm #

Their constituents aren’t the voters but rather the donors. That’s who they work for.

    • K-Dog September 13, 2019 at 12:29 pm #

Surely you do not suggest that there could be a higher purpose than gamesmanship for politicians as our boys of summer call it a day?

Actually caring about what they are doing for the state and for constituents is on third base in this ball game and your idea of a politician is not even on first base yet. To get to second base politicians would have to deal with real issues but that is in the future not to be. To get to first base they have to deal with phony issues and they do not even do that now.

All they do is call each other names and honest men always strike out if by random chance they are allowed to bat. The home run of doing good. Not in this game.

Almost Bhagavad Gita almost did not take place

When I began to write “A brief overview of the balance of power after the Epstein’s “suicide” I thought of the Bhagavad Gita, which begins with a brief overview of the balance of power on the field of the future Battle of Kuruksetra.

    https://www.vedabase.com/en/bg/1

I wanted to do this, not only because the background of this battle is very similar to Shakespeare’s War of the Roses, and the possible consequences of the fire on Losharik are quite consistent with the scale of the Battle of Kuruksetra, but also because in the center of this field, where there are armies ready to move into attack and start a war for power in the United States, and possibly for power over the world, by the will of fate happens to stand a fragile woman named Tulsi Gabbard.

Tulsi began her service in the National Guard as a private soldier and ended as a major in the US Army, who took the oath of a member of the US House of Representatives in the Bhagavad-gita as it is (Bhagavad Gita translated and commented on by Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, which Gabbard presented to the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi in September 2014)

The fact is that due to insomnia complicated by the back pain, my brief review of the balance of power seems a bit late and this battle began yesterday.

Of course, it is not yet clear whether the troops have already moved or several units have received orders to conduct reconnaissance in force, but now it is clear that the greatest spiritual stress has concentrated around Tulsi Gabbard and it seems that Krishna himself is holding the straps of her chariot.

Moreover, the horses harnessed to this chariot are clearly Oryol trotters brought from Russia. And the organ manager – Dmitry Medvedev – finally lost his mind, having issued orders rare in their stupidity and arrogance from his office, because he understood that the battle would begin with Trump’s attack on people in Russia, using Hillary’s money to give to the British intelligence officer Christopher Steele compromising materials on him, which became the basis for obtaining permission to wiretap his election campaign in 2016.

And apparently, Tulsi Gabbard will give the go-ahead for this attack.

The fact is that for the last 2 years, Trump has been persecuted by supporters of Hillary Clinton, justifying political terror by the need to prevent Russia’s intervention in the US election campaign in the year 2020, albeit providing Wikileaks with the results of hacking the Democratic Party server, from which it followed that the primaries were faked and victory was stolen from Bernie Sanders.

That is, Hillary was going to fake the election results in the 2020 and did not want Russia to bother her.

And in a brief overview of the alignment of forces after Epstein’s “suicide”, I wanted to write that after the arrest of the chief pedophile of the USA and the possible receiving from him compromising videos of Bastinda’s flying monkeys, Hillary had to abandon the idea: “World coup d’état or nuclear war “and go on to seize power through elections, albeit forged, but official.

I must say that recently Bastinda is clearly not in her mind and even American political scientists read her plan – first push Biden forward, and then feed him to Kamala Harris.

With God’s help, I will write more about this in the “Conclusion of a brief review of the balance of power after the Epstein’s “suicide”, and here I want to say that yesterday there were televised debates of democratic candidates for the presidency of the United States, about which it is difficult to write something reasonable, kind, eternal, except that without Tulsi Gabbard, who smashed the aforementioned Kamala Harris to smithereens on previous television debates, and even I couldn’t listen to these TV debates and my insomnia fled from them, hiding its tail wet with terror.

And this happened because the US Democratic Committee came up with such rules of these debates and conducting public opinion polls that Tulsi could not pass this selection, and whoever won the democratic primaries without her, and Tulsi Gabbard’s numerous supporters can vote for Donald Trump, just like Bernie Sanders’ supporter voted for him in 2016.

Unless, of course, Tulsi Gabbard does not decide to run for president as an independent candidate.

And if so, then the battle has begun!!!

Will Jughead Joe will last long enuf for any complex scheme to unwind? I predict that someone at the next debate will get fed up and yell: “Off the stage, ya senile old bozo!”

  22. JohnAZ September 13, 2019 at 1:42 pm #

    A huge question mark?

What exactly re-ignited the “war” with Russia?

Both political sides were dealing with Russian folks at the end of the Obama time. Hill ad Bill were making deals, hands over fist, including our nuclear fuel. Rex Tillotson and Exxon Mobil were making deals with the boys to develop the Karol Sea oil deposits. Flynn was making deals representing who knows, with the Ukrainians trying to keep them happy.

So what happened? Did the US and NATO decide to fire things up in response to the Ukraine, Crimea fiasco? Is the hate Russia campaign nothing but a Get Trump maneuver? If so, a lot of hate and discontent was caused to keep the power hounds in DC happy. These folks deserve jail time.

Are the Russians nothing but scape goats?

Also, what’s weird is that the big-city wokester neo-libs are acting like Russia has a much more terrible government than it did thirty years ago, when it’s a pretty easily verifiable fact that it’s the other way around.

100% agree. I’ve always been a very crunchy-granola Madison peace-liberal, and when “liberals” (actually big-city managerial-and-professional-class people) became the party of Cold War 2.0, I couldn’t help but feel as though I were Winston Smith hearing the announcer on the telescreen loudly proclaim “Oceania is at war with Eurasia. Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia. Eastasia is our ally. Eastasia has always been our ally.”

  23. The New York Times reports today that opposition candidate Navalny’s offices were raided in a coordinated sting operation across 200 sites in 41 towns and cities, many local branches of his party’s campaign office, by the police, the national guard, and the F.S.B.

Why? Nothing but a flimsy pretense concerning funding, a tactic apparently used successfully in the past and enabled by Russia’s vague and useful laws concerning the ability of the government to “classify money as criminal on the basis of trivial violations like minor flaws in paperwork”

“Mr. Navalny, the highest profile opponent of President V.V. Putin, has alarmed the authorities by trying to expand his reach beyond Moscow, traditionally a center of opposition sentiment. Mr. Putin has generally enjoyed strong support in regions where many people, unlike Muscovites, get their news primarily from state-controlled television channels that do little more than praise the president.”

Without Navalny’s heroic efforts Russia wouldn’t be able to offer a credible display of ostensible democracy. It is useful for Putin for him to exist, yet not become a political threat, because he would appear ever more the autocratic, megalomaniacal authoritarian leader Russia has historically been a victim of, so I think the harassment will continue. Dismal attrition is the Russian way.

Eventually though, it will blow back, and Russia’s deep state will have to persecute its machinations from the shadows through social media, hacking, and blog posts. Maybe they’ll try and poison Navalny for a 2nd or 3rd time.

    A huge question mark?
What exactly re-ignited the “war” with Russia?
    ==JohnAZ

US foreign policy has become a hostage to domestic, and the need to somehow respond to the strengthening of Russia creates to American journalists of cloak and dagger insurmountable propaganda difficulties in domestic politics.

In particular, it raises the indigestible question: “Who lost Russia?”

And indeed, on the one hand, they need to unleash anti-Russian hysteria and shout about the “communist-feudal threat and terrible Russians” who are preparing to occupy the United States, deliver a nuclear strike to the free world and take something away from the American people – whether it’s free enterprise, either a Bill of Rights, or social guarantees.

On the other hand, the Americans have not forgotten how it has been explained to them in the Clinton era that Russia is finished and its opinion on international issues, such as the bombing of Belgrade, just of no interest to anyone.

And officially the question “Who lost Russia?” in expanded form it sounds like this: “Whoever did not sufficiently support the processes of democratization in Russia, so that instead of thanking America for Bush’s chicken thighs, getting rid of the communist dictatorship and helping build democratic institutions, it puts sticks into American wheels around the planet and soon will place nuclear missiles in Cuba again.

On the other hand, the unofficial question “Who lost Russia?” formulated as follows: “Who allowed the Russian Bear to slip out of the trap into which Gorbachev led it?”

And the Democrats also have only one answer to this question – George W. Bush, since it was he who, in 2000, dared to see the soul in Putin’s eyes, invited him to the ranch and gave him the opportunity to express his sympathy after September 11.

        Interesting, Finca.

Maybe the USSR/Russia has been putting up with Diversity for so damn long that they have just learned to put the insurrections down, rather than negotiate with folks that will never assimilate. Their track record is much longer in time than ours. Maybe our form of negotiation, the Constitution, is becoming obsolete with too many peoples that will not assimilate.

Well, I think it’s just that civil-libertarian constitutional republican government doesn’t do well in times of economic contraction. The last vestiges of Progress and Growth are being maintained on fumes and printed money, but we all know that won’t last. If the superstructure of it all is starting to creak and groan before real contraction has even set in, it makes me shudder to imagine what will happen when contraction really does set in.

I thought it was a truly diabolical mixture of Satanists, Devil worshipers and Germanic pagan religions, practicing ritual pedophilia and human sacrifice.

What Islam has to do with all that?

Wahhabism is not Islam, it’s a Islamic heresy in the best traditions of Western European protestants, who really protested the partial return of Catholic church to Christianity under Thomas Aquinas.

I do not consider Anglicans and clones of Church of England as protestants.

  29. My Point of View September 13, 2019 at 4:42 pm #

I wanted a column blasting the big rackets: medicine and college.

The Sackler family, creators of drugs that kill 200 people per day, have been moving money around. “The New York attorney general’s office said Friday that it had tracked about $1 billion in wire transfers by the Sackler family, including through Swiss bank accounts, suggesting the family tried to shield wealth as it faced a raft of litigation over its role in the opioid crisis.” If we were losing 200 lives a day in Vietnam or Iraq the outcry would’ve been heard to the moon.

    No justice in America.

Felicity Huffman gets 14 days in jail for bribing college officials to get her idiot daughter into an institution of “higher learning.” What bullshit.

The sentence of 14 days is woefully inadequate.

Martha Stewart did a year in prison for buying some stocks on “insider” knowledge.

Huffman pays college insiders to get her kid in is a similar form of “insider” crime.

The irony is Huffman’s kid didn’t even want to go to college.

Huffman perverted and cheapened the system by which we educate those who will occupy positions of importance in our society. Couple this with recent reports about massive fraud in the business of writing papers for college students and it makes you wonder if that UCLA grad who handles your finances is worth the tissue to wipe your ass. That’s the crime the Huffman’s of the world are guilty of — destroying faith in our institutions and those so-called professionals we rely on.

    No justice in America.

Taliban negotiators say they are fine with fighting for another hundred years. I assume they mean life sucks and fighting is one of the few things that make it interesting. Any losses are easily made up for by having sex with their wife or wives. And casualties will be mourned with a passion – even if they were assholes, they were still brothers and fellow Muslims and killing them was an insult. And those that die are the lucky ones in any case, because life sucks and now he’s with Allah and the 72 Virgins as his reward for dying as a martyr.

You can’t beat people like this on their own ground. You can only keep it from spreading, perhaps. Easily done if there’s a ocean between you and them? Not if you keep letting them fly in or fly them in yourself – as we have done increasingly since 9/11. Are we mad? Of course. Whom the gods wish to kill they first drive mad.

I suppose that the United States Army has forgotten all of the valuable lessons it learned while kicking British butt in the colonial days.

For instance, little seems to have happened all summer long with the matter known as RussiaGate, the attempt by high US government officials to overthrow the result of the 2016 election by pretending that Russia was trying to interfere in the 2016 election.

Actually, Russiagate pretty much got blown wide open with the evidence from the desk of Putin that Putin ordered the interference in the 2016 US election with the goal to explicitly to favor Trump. Oleg Smolenkov provided the evidence to the US. Putin’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, confirmed Oleg was the guy who worked for the Kremlin and got the evidence from Putin’s desk.

The US had to “exfiltrate” Oleg. Now we don’t have a man in Putin’s government who has access to the direct evidence sitting on Putin’s desk. But now we do know that Putin ordered Russiagate to favor Trump. McCabe’s intel checked out.

The text of the Bhagavad Gita consists of a philosophical conversation between Krishna and Arjuna, which takes place on the Battlefield of Kurukshetra immediately before the Battle of Kurukshetra between the two warring clans of the Pandavas and the Kauravas.

Arjuna – a warrior and one of the five princely brothers of the Pandava clan – before the decisive battle falls into doubt about the expediency of the battle, which will lead to the deaths of many worthy people, including his relatives. However, his charioteer – Krishna – convinces Arjuna to take part in the battle, explaining to him his duty as a warrior and prince and expounding to him various philosophical systems of Vedanta and yoga practices.

In the process of conversation, Krishna reveals to Arjuna his divine essence. Having shown his universal form and omnipotence, Krishna declares himself the Highest One, the ultimate philosophical truth and absolute good, and bhakti yoga, the path of devotion, the highest spiritual practice. Fully convinced, recognizing the Supreme Lord in Krishna and accepting him as his mentor, Arjuna enters the 18-day battle.

People suck up to the rich and powerful because that’s a successful strategy – even chimps do it.

There’s not much profit in sucking up to the poor and downtrodden unless you want to start a rebellion and displace the rich and powerful with someone much, much, more deserving – yourself. Which is why people do that.

The middle doesn’t quite have it, though. They’re a threat – which is why they are the most heavily taxed. But the real Revolutions are brought about by renegade elites. The French Revolution was enacted by dissident aristocrats who wanted a Capitalist system like that of England. Money flowed from there via the Masonic lodges. And many, many intellectuals wanted to see Catholic France smashed to smithereens. They got their wish and much else besides.

The Russian Revolution was enacted by the International Bankers – most Jews – and actually lead by the Jews on the ground by mostly Jews as well. A Renegade Elite indeed. Nothing middle class about them. Apparently many middle class American Jews used to contribute to it though. As Irish Americans used contribute to Sinn Fein. They’d take up collections in bars.

I’ll agree, a sickly sweet miasma of change will arise from the swamps but time is not yet ripe. There is not yet vision to replace adulation of the rich and powerful. In 2020 more money will be spent to advance the adulation of the rich and powerful meme than at any time ever before. Our entire culture is about adulation of the rich and powerful.

When the contrary truth of reality shows this to be the empty adulation that it actually is, the devil will get his due. Times will be interesting.

Technically it was not illegal under the system by which our government operates and that is whatever we do is legal because no one can stop us from doing anything that we care to do. Now don’t get me wrong, I am just as disgusted with that mentality as the next decent guy, but until some other country, groups of countries or other powerful entity stands up and says enough is enough, the government of the USA will continue to never break any laws. This is what gets me too.

They say the US and UK installed the Shah. Um, wait a sec, maybe the Shah suited a whole lot of Iranian locals, you know, rich guys, fellas in the military, the usual roster of creeps and goons. Locals are featured as puppets that do the bidding of the MIC with the CIA and other western intel agencies doing the dirty work. Never are the locals presented as people having any agency of their own or agendas of their own, they’re just waiting on orders from the puppet masters.

But notice what happened later, the Shah got overthrown. Maybe different factions of locals got sick of the dirty dogs running things, maybe other dirty dogs wanted their time in the sun. And the US couldn’t forestall the overthrow so maybe the US isn’t as almighty powerful as it thinks. Maybe its agenda gets enacted in foreign climes if it suits the PTB in those places.

It sure as hell didn’t suit the Vietnamese who spent decades fighting the Japs and then the French and then the US. In the end the small brown men ousted everyone. And these guys were barefoot farmers riding donkeys and using basic weaponry.

If Israel didn’t exist, local Arab despots would have to invent it. Why are Arab countries surrounding Israel crapholes run by murderers, why can’t the ordinary Arab get an even break, why can’t they get basic justice, or health care or schooling or even treated water or garbage removal? That’s the question. And Israel with its perfidious undermining Jew is the answer.

Of course this distraction allows the Arab potentate to run his show, to rob anybody he pleases. How long does this go on?

People have the right to be oppressed by their own People. Put it in the Bill of Rights as the 11th.

And just because what you said is true, that doesn’t change the fact that the Jews did and do oppress the Arabs of Palestine, right? Do you deny they drove hundreds of thousands out? And that Palestine was a food exporter before the Jews got there, even as Edward Said and others have pointed out?

So, there you go, the exception. I’ve spent more than enough time crapping on the economics profession, but here’s an economist for once that sees things as they are. Maybe his perceptual abilities have nothing to do with his economics background but surely his academic training didn’t impede him. Good for him.

Hudson shares two things with Marx:
        1. an ability to diagnose the instability of capitalism, and
        2. a delusion that he can devise a stable system.

        • FincaInTheMountains September 14, 2019 at 10:20 am #

Common delusion in the West: that you could devise a stable economic system without having a common stable system of spiritual beliefs.

          • Epicur September 14, 2019 at 10:46 am #

While I agree that a common system of spiritual beliefs is a great moderator of instability in civilization(s), I do not agree that they remove the inherent dynamic instability. Spiritual systems are, by definition, not rational and contain the seed of their own destruction via man’s search for rationality (we SEEK, whether or not it can be found).

          • K-Dog September 14, 2019 at 11:39 am #

I don’t agree the rational carries the seeds for its own destruction. To assume all men are rational in a rational society is not rational.

Rather amid the order and regularity of an imagined future where there is a common culture dedicated to honor of all men one or many devils can still arise. From a dark corner a man of lowborn or retrograde character with cynical demeanor will stand behind a future podium and spread his small hands wide.

            ‘How now, gentlemen?

‘Would it not be a good thing if we all got together and kicked the solemn wisdom of ages to the curb and let the muggy hot winds of September carry it away?

‘Let the logarithms of life rust away and let us live life by our own stupid whims.

The inability to put first things first in an overly reduced society shall be cause for a fall, not made up seeds of destruction that lie within rationality; except to say that rationality is a cloak which men frequently take off, finding as they do the process of being rational takes more from them than they want to give.

          • Epicur September 14, 2019 at 11:43 am #

“I don’t agree the rational carries the seeds for its own destruction. ”

K-dog, did you mean to say, “I don’t agree the SPIRITUAL” carries the seeds for its own destruction?” Otherwise I cannot make much sense of your argument.

I disagree with ‘Spiritual systems are, by definition, not rational.

“I disagree with ‘Spiritual systems are, by definition, not rational.

            Mine is.”

The nature of your system is not a debate I care to engage, but re, “To assume all men are rational in a rational society is not rational.”

That is not an assumption I make. There is an abundance of evidence that shows humans make decisions based on feelings and intuitions and then “rationalize” their decisions.

I assume that humans SEEK rational explanations for the world around them. I do not believe that there is one rational explanation that all will agree on and for that reason all systems, including spiritual, are inherently unstable.

Hey guys, girls and all you of the different pronoun cluster, has anyone noticed that candidates aren’t addressing the fact that destiny of the nation (rhetorical or not) is no longer accepted as a privileged entitlement of the citizenry, but rather must default to however many foreign nationals choose to ignore our sovereignty, borders and immigration laws? Great surprise; the “free lunch” sign has been held up for years, and guess what, people showed up (are still showing up). Well, what t’hell, it has created a lot of profiteering south of the border among the human trafficking coyotes. And, up here in l’norte, the signs reading “No human is illegal” are selling well. Oh, well, I guess the humanitarian virtue signalling and feel good pay-off is worth my having to wait in line and spend an hour filling out forms to check into a hospital while above me hangs a sign on the wall that reads (in multiple languages) “No service will be denied regardless of one’s immigration
    status”.

Expect wave upon wave of illegals from here on in, numbering in the tens of millions, maybe in the hundreds of millions. The entire southern hemisphere has collapsed into an orgy of overpopulation, violence and squalor. People are deperate to get out; they are headed north toward the promised land. What is happening is historic, similar to the Visigoths and Huns overrunning Rome in the 5th century, or the Mongol Hordes moving east into Europe in the 13th century. I believe it will be the end of the west as we have known it since the enlightenment. Dark days lie ahead.

Last night on the local news I heard of another brutal double stabbing. When they mentioned the names (of the victims, the assailants, not sure?) Gomez, Huerta, Martinez — I figured another dust up in the ghetto, Hartford or New Haven — but no, they said it happened in Cromwell, one of our small towns. The decay and rot can no longer be held back, is spreading all thru out the land.

That’s because as far as they are concerned, for all practical purposes there is no nation. To them, the Uniparty, the world and total dominion over it appears to be the only thing that matters. Well, most important maybe. There is always money and stuff after all. Full automation isn’t here yet so the foreign hordes aid and abet the ruling class in the total destruction of middle incomes and political opposition. But since its clear that lives and livelihoods are expendable even the foreign invaders and mercenaries won’t be safe once their usefulness has expired and armies of drones and robots take care of business.

Yes. And we have a commander-in-chief who, in his Baltimore speech, just said of his Republican House Minority leader, Kevin McCarthy:

“Kevin is just like a cow, he’s just smaller.”

Do you know what that means?

Iran is not Iraq. The United States would lose in a war with Iran. As you noted, “one more strike takes out SA and next is the oil terminal in the Gulf.”

Don’t mess with Iran. Make peace with Iran. Apologize to Iran and remove the sanctions. Our future existence depends upon it.

It would bring enormous economic difficulties to ALL parts of Russia, since it would inevitably break the united economic and transportation system.

Uh, isn’t that kinda talking out of both sides of your mouth or whatever that saying is? If Saudi Arabia retaliates against Iran why do we have to be part of any of it?

Can a world war begin by an accident?

    It can – in Venezuela.

Venezuela ready to defend itself after US invokes Rio Treaty

Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza has described the US’ decision to invoke a defense pact as “illegal” and “dangerous.” Washington has said they were left with little choice due to “bellicose” moves from Venezuela.

JS: We can defeat them. That was the message of one of our Greatest Thinkers in his final hour. And that that is exactly what we were going have to do.

This book, Guillaume Faye’s last gift to us, was finished as he was dying of cancer during the winter of 2018-19. With nothing left to lose, his language became even more forceful than usual. Faye urges his fellow Frenchmen to prepare for the physical struggle he had, by the end of his life, come to see as almost impossible to avoid. The book’s original title was Racial Civil War. His editors at Arktos Media prudently softened it, realizing it would only attract the attention of censors.

Guillaume Faye never wanted race war, but he also understood there could be worse outcomes: The West could give up without a fight, choosing submission (the literal meaning of Islam) in the vain hope of preserving life and some level of comfort. Clearly, many among the French and European elite are already prepared to choose that option. If such an inglorious civilizational death is to be avoided, it will probably be necessary for ordinary people to go over the heads of their “leaders” and seize their own destiny.

Faye starts from the principle that:

ethnic homogeneity is the condition for civil peace and prosperity. As rightly noted by Aristotle, the peaceful and economically viable coexistence of ethnically different populations on a single territory is generally impossible. It leads to incessant conflicts, followed by a civil war in which the invaders attempt to replace the natives.

But postwar French governments succumbed to a utopian vision in which radically different races and cultures could live in harmony. They have been forcing a foreign invasion on an unwilling nation.

Broadly speaking, the two main immigrant groups have been Muslims from the Maghreb region of North Africa and blacks from south of the Sahara (many of them also Muslim). Despite enjoying preferences over the native French, a disproportionate number fail to find regular jobs. They subsist in dismal state-subsidized housing projects on the periphery of major cities; their children do badly in school and often commit petty and not-so-petty crime.

Even immigrants who were not especially religious tend over time to take up Islam as a badge of ethnic identity. In Mr. Faye’s words, they see it as “the natural religion of non-whites. Non-Muslims such as black Africans or mixed-race individuals often convert not for religious reasons, but for racial ones.” Thus do they express their contempt for the native population, as soldiers in Islam’s 1,400-year war against the West.

Faye quotes the lyrics of one black rap “artist:”

I enter nurseries and kill white babies, seize them quickly and hang their parents,

Quarter them to pass the time,

Whip them hard and do so earnestly.

Let it all reek of death, let them piss blood,

Let these foul fruits provide us with a fascinating, pallid and entertaining spectacle. . . .

Chorus: Hang them, hang them, hang the Whites!

    Elite collaborators

Many French politicians continue to promote policies that have manifestly failed. Longtime fixture on the French left, Jacques Attali, has said:

It is in our interest to massively develop this neighboring continent [Africa]; to organize the coming of migrants to Europe; to welcome and integrate millions of people into our cultures upon their arrival from this cradle of humanity . . . . [Migrants] will turn Europe into the world’s leading power.

Can Mr. Attali really believe his own words?

An increasingly common pretense of French elites is that postwar Muslim immigration is not really new. In this vein, former Prime Minster Manuel Valls said: “Islam is an inseparable part of ourselves and our culture, and hence of our roots.” Another fashionable argument is that the secularism of the French state “stigmatizes” Muslims (but never native Catholics, apparently). Meanwhile, the more old-fashioned Marxist Left claims that Muslim criminals and terrorists are the result of “globalized capitalism.”

Many have been surprised by the Left’s support for Islam. Mr. Faye thinks this is like the fascination with violence that once attracted them to communism, and which they have been missing ever since the collapse of the Soviet Union. He also explicitly compares the craven submission of today’s elites with collaboration during the German occupation of 1940–44:

Whatever one may think of the fascist undertakings of the 1930s, the fact remains that the phases that lead some people to embrace collaborationism are still the same as in the past. Both collaborationist groups, whether today or under the Occupation, stem mainly from the Left, including the communist milieu. As for members of the resistance, they mostly come from the Right. And yet for the past decades, the media have been trying to make us believe the very opposite.

Today’s collaborationists pose as champions of “democracy.” The great enemy of democracy, as they tell it, is populism, which President Emmanuel Macron likens to leprosy. Yet, as Faye points out, democracy comes from demos and populism from populus, both of which mean “the people.” The elites pretend democracy consists in “violating the will of one’s necessarily ignorant and misguided people” whereas populism is an expression of popular will with which elites disagree.

Faye writes that the principle goal of French rulers is:

to preserve [their] own tranquility as well as [their] agents’ sinecures. They are not concerned with protecting their compatriots and their children any more than they are with safeguarding the memory of their ancestors. They lecture their fellow citizens about anti-racism, tolerance and living together [while] they themselves live, work and move about in completely unspoiled areas protected against any and all allogenic influences. The only colored people they encounter on a daily basis are their own housekeepers. To them, low-income indigenous Frenchmen are anything but blood brothers. It does not matter to them whether the French citizen “below” is black or white, or whether he speaks Polish or Arabic.

As someone has noted, they see their subjects as a kind of “undifferentiated human matter.” But Faye is confident that “this oligarchy will eventually be wiped out—either by its fellow citizens or by its adored invader-protégés.” He understands its attempts at appeasement are futile: “The more the [non-white immigrants] are aided, the more they hate us and complain . . . . The aggressor is aroused by the weakness of those he attacks.”

One important component of France’s xenophilic elite is the Catholic hierarchy, oblivious to Islam’s war against the church. Mr. Faye writes that “lobbies linked to the Catholic Church were the first” to promote mass immigration. Appeals to Christian charity are unconvincing: “To preach love in all circumstances and forgiveness of the most atrocious crimes is the best excuse for cowards to justify their own inaction.” Genuine Christian charity is for the sincerely repentant.

Pope Francis has acknowledged that “one can indeed speak of an Arab invasion” of Europe, but he believes it is a good thing: “The invasions Europe has experienced have truly been numerous! And it has always found the ability to surpass itself, to move forward and thus find itself enhanced by cultural exchange.” Faye notes that what Pope Francis calls “cultural exchange” was bloody clashes followed by centuries of despotism in Spain and the Balkans.

Mr. Faye notes that a few on the Left understand the threat of Islam:

We sincerely hope our dear old opponents, who once idolized Trotsky, Lenin or Marx, will fight alongside us when the time is right. For we shall require all of our brothers and sisters if we are to emerge victorious from the coming war.

    Islam’s home-grown critics

Just as there are white collaborators, there are also men of Muslim heritage who understand that the triumph of radical Islam would be a disaster for the entire world. They have become some of the most effective critics of Islam in the French-speaking world. Algerian writer and journalist Kamel Daoud, whose first novel won France’s prestigious Prix Goncourt, wrote that nobody should be surprised by the attacks on women in Cologne, Germany:

Sex represents the greatest misery in the world of Allah, so much so that it has given birth to the porno-Islam that preachers make use of in their speech aimed at recruiting the faithful: a description of a paradise that is more like a brothel than a reward for pious people; a fantasy of virgins for the suicide bomber.

Mr. Daoud has been dragged through the mud by the leftist intelligentsia and accused of apostasy by Islamists.

Another Algerian writer, Boualam Sansal, has published a dystopian novel describing “a world dominated by radical Islamism.” He predicts a Syrian-style civil war in Algeria and expects it will be exported: “One can estimate that in thirty years’ time, Islamism will rule the entire Muslim world;” then “it will set out to conquer Western civilization.”

It is impossible not to admire these men. As Mr. Faye notes: “When one is an Arab, criticizing Islam is synonymous with drawing a target on one’s own forehead.” However, the “moderate” Islam most of them recommend remains:

a utopian one that remains purely conceptual, a pipe dream only advocated by a minority and which does not correspond in any way to the historical and sociological reality of Arab peoples. [The reformers’ task] is akin to striving to institute an agnostic form of Christianity, monotheistic Hinduism or liberal communism.

    The enemy

At the heart of the enemy camp, in Mr. Faye’s view, stands Salafism—a tendency within Islam not fully embodied in any single organization.

Salafists hold that the best, most authentic form of Islam was in the time of Mohamad and his first followers. Therefore, the best way to live a Muslim life today is through a literal reading of the Koran and direct imitation of Mohamad’s own often brutal acts. Salafists are not “extremists.” They do not exaggerate early Muslim practice—they don’t have to. Faye notes that primitive Islam supports systematic killing:

Islam was founded by Bedouin tribes of looters and warriors. Muhammad himself was an assiduous practitioner of violence. In Islam, crime and delinquency are not illegal as long as they do not target members of the umma (i.e., the community of Muslim believers). Steeped in Christian culture, we often think that religion is substantially synonymous with non-violence and respect for others. Such a view is absent from the Muslim tradition and beyond its understanding.

Salafism encourages the withdrawal of all Muslims into their own communities to avoid all contact with “infidels.” Schools are an important part of their program:

Every child that has been educated by these Salafist brutes to espouse hatred of the infidels could, at any moment, be incorporated into the recruiting sphere of their terrorist killing force. If one spends one’s days memorizing the most violent verses of the Qur’an and hadiths, watching sanguinary videos, and visiting various radical social networks run by Salafists, which is the case of tens of thousands of young Muslim people, one obviously ends up being very tempted to take action. Horror and “sacred” criminality become one’s only horizons.

An estimated 50,000 Muslims in France identify with Salafism. Though they are a minority, they are as Mao described guerillas: They “swim among the people as a fish swims in the sea.”

Mr. Faye is aware that many hostile black African immigrants are not (yet) Muslim. He says they do not integrate into French society because “they do not have the intellectual capacity to do so.” They are a threat even without Islam.

    Gathering clouds

In recent years, the pace of Islamic terror has increased. In July 2014, a truck attack killed 86 in Nice; copycat attacks followed in Berlin and Stockholm. In January 2015, two gunmen stormed the Paris offices of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, killing 12. The following November, Muslims killed 131 people in a series of attacks that included the Bataclan concert venue in Paris. In 2016, an elderly priest was beheaded to shouts of “Allahu Akbar!” as he celebrated mass.

But these are only the most spectacular cases. It has become a regular sport to set fire to a building, lure police and firefighters, and ambush the responders with stones and Molotov cocktails. Immigrants have set patrol cars on fire with officers inside.

Immigrant men and boys constantly harass French women on the streets; some women barricade themselves in their homes. In 2017, residents of Paris’s notorious 18th arrondissement circulated a petition of protest. Pathetically, they added an explicit disavowal of “racism,” which made clear who was responsible for the problem. It did not matter; they were denounced as racist bigots.

One may well wonder at French men who have passively allowed this. As Mr. Faye writes: “in all cultures, the normal, vital reflex is to protect one’s women against any and all sexual assaults committed by foreigners.” Yet he also acknowledges that “should squads of young Frenchmen ever patrol these districts to protect women in the streets and neutralize the aggressors . . . the police would be ordered to arrest them.”

The native French of both sexes are cowed by increasingly harsh and purposely vague laws against “incitement to racial hatred” that in practice apply almost exclusively to whites. Until recently, this appears to have worked; the French grumble to trusted friends but do nothing. As Faye points out, the only reason civil war has not broken out is that the natives have not yet begun to fight back: “So far, the clashes have been limited to confrontations between Maghrebian and black youths on one side and our public security forces on the other”—except for one case noted below.

French authorities are aware of the possibility of native resistance and have sought to head it off by monitoring “right wing extremism” more than fighting immigrant crime and Islamic terrorism. In October 2017, a small group of Frenchmen were arrested for planning to spray mosques with graffiti or leave pork at the door. Faye comments: “Rather unintelligent symbolism, of course, yet devoid of any homicidal, criminal or heinous intention, and not a source of danger in any way.” They were denounced as terrorists comparable to Allah’s warriors.

    Less than a year later:

[T]en men and women were arrested and accused of criminal and terrorist conspiracy. It appears that these people were planning attacks on both mosques and veiled women in retaliation for the killings perpetrated by Islamists over the past three years. The arrested individuals were, for the most part, family men with no criminal history.

It may be that the government’s zeal to stifle native resistance is only encouraging it. How many more times are they going to catch such groups before they act? Faye writes, “If a French attack against Muslims did take place and were crowned with success, it would have but one result, I believe: It would unleash a civil war upon us once and for all.”

More recently, the harshness of the government’s response to the native French yellow-vest protests has made clear which group the government considers more dangerous. But the authorities have a weakness: They are dependent on ordinary, non-elite policemen and gendarmes for their own protection—and it is non-white immigrants—not “the extreme right”—who hate and harass these men. Several thousand police officers are now injured on duty every year, and the numbers are rising. Resignation rates are soaring, and there have been suicides. The head of a government inquiry into the state of the police remarked:

We are truly on the verge of collapse. Our police officers and gendarmes lack adequate means to do their job. They are exposed to ever-increasing danger, the everyday violence of the [immigrant] housing estates and systematic ambushes. They are becoming more and more convinced that the physical risks they take are pointless.

One source of anger and demoralization is the courts, which hands down extremely light sentences. Last year, France’s highest court prohibited prosecution of anyone helping immigrants settle illegally in France.

Photographs of police officers, sometimes with home addresses, are shared on social networks popular with immigrants, sometimes with direct appeals to murder. Officers have had their homes invaded and been punished for using force to defend themselves.

The case of Aboubakar Fofana is typical—and like countless incidents in the United States. in July 2018, this repeat offender was stopped at a police checkpoint in Nantes. He tried to drive off at the risk of ploughing into people nearby, including children. A quick-thinking officer shot him dead. The officer was then arrested. This was followed by five days of riots and arson by immigrants to whom Fofana was a hero.

    The coming war

Guillaume Faye is not alone in seeing such events as a prelude to war. Gen. Pierre de Villiers, until recently Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, declared that France has “entered a different age” where peace could “no longer to be taken for granted.” Mr. Faye believes this statement led to his forced resignation. Longtime left-wing politician Jean-Pierre Chevènement, a former Minister of the Interior, also “set aside ideological prudence” long enough to acknowledge that “we are now under threat of war.”

But how would racial civil war develop? The first step would be direct resistance by natives. So far, there has been just one case—in Corsica, in December, 2015. A group of young Maghrebians started fires in a housing project near Ajaccio. They screamed “dirty Corsicans” as they ambushed and severely wounded firefighters. The next day, hundreds of Corsicans arrived, chanting “Arabs get out!” They smashed a halal restaurant, ransacked a prayer room and burned many Korans. Mr. Faye comments:

Such an action-reaction scenario embodies one of the main sociological criteria for triggering civil wars, and was the very first of its kind in France. The event shall undoubtedly be a historical milestone. When a part of the population feels abandoned by the state and proceeds to take on the latter’s role, rejecting its law enforcement monopoly, taking justice into its own hands and ensuring its own defense, the state finds itself deprived of its peace-making role and the disorder of civile bellum has been unleashed.

In the not-too-distant future, some new criminal or terrorist act, not necessarily a large one, could be one too many. It could prompt Frenchmen to bypass politics and the state that they know will not protect them, and fight the invaders. Two things would then happen: economic collapse would make life much more difficult, and opinions would shift drastically and quickly. History would accelerate:

Whenever a serious crisis erupts, bringing with it a risk of death and systemic collapse, as would inevitably be the case with an interethnic civil war entailing a high level of violence, mentalities topple and opinions undergo radical change, even among the authorities themselves. One then witnesses an astonishing metamorphosis or perhaps even a complete reversal in people’s behavior and value judgments.

At this point, much would depend on the army, the national gendarmerie, and local police. So far, police have been ambiguous. They executed the authorities’ harsh response to the native yellow-vest protests, arousing popular anger. And yet there are also signs the men in uniform are deeply dissatisfied with their superiors. On the night of October 17, 2016:

hundreds of overexcited police officers, many of them on duty, spontaneously protested on the Champs-Elysees; this occurred in the vicinity of the French Ministry of the Interior, through which a wind of panic began to blow.

The movement quickly spread to other cities. The head of the police force was booed when he tried to call his men to order. Disgusted officers know their superiors despise them but depend on them.

Mr. Faye believes that when war breaks out and authority collapses, the gendarmes are perfectly capable of “embracing an attitude of insubordination and joining in an improvised and dissident manner, the ranks of a potential popular resistance.” This would make all the difference for the outcome.

The immigrants themselves “are, of course, very undisciplined, imprudent, and characterized by obvious tactical mediocrity,” and “physical courage in face-to-face confrontation is not their strong point.” Mr. Faye warns that they might well target white children. “Still, one can assuredly say that no matter how many of them there are, these troops of aggressors can definitely be defeated by more intelligent minorities, i.e., by us.”

Mr. Faye’s describes the civil war he believes approaching within the next 10 or 15 years:

When violence begins, it is likely to trigger an uncontrollable chain of events: The indigenous population could, like the police, switch to an attitude of defensive counter-violence that would lift many taboos. In a brutal, murderous and racial civil war, [men] take action in ways that would once have horrified them. [Such a war] will involve violence, as well as terrible tragedy and injustice. Making very quick decisions will turn out to be necessary. We must accept the fact that some deaths, even within the enemy camp, will neither be just nor pleasant to cause. An indigenous person must, however, choose other natives over all foreigners.

A racial civil war is not as imminent in the United States as in France, but it is not impossible. Like Faye, American Renaissance has devoted years to calling for a peaceful and realistic political solution to multi-racialism. This is because race war would be uncontrollable, unjust, and horrific. But should a physical struggle be forced on us, we must remember two things: 1) It is still better than surrendering our lives and civilization without a fight; and 2) the primary responsibility for the catastrophe will lie not with those who tried to warn against it, nor even with the non-whites arrayed against us, but with those of our own people who for decades had the power to prevent catastrophe but didn’t.

JS: BRH will get his war one way or another. Let it be the right one for God’s sake.

Thank you for sharing this. We may be somewhat behind Europe in terms of a soon to be situation of ethnic and racial conflict but sometimes I wonder how far really. The Hispanics are taking over so quickly I think the time for relative peace may be short-lived for us too. They may not have the zeal of the Muslims, but many are zealous for their race and family and gang so the crime problems are only going to get worse.

But I simply ask you and those like you to consider the price. If you’re gonna buy something expensive, you want it to be of real value, right?

The largest race war that we know of was the Santo Domingo episode (Haitian Revolution.) In that instance, there was no confusing it as anything other than a race war.

That kind of situation (slavery) doesn’t exist in today’s world but that doesn’t mean that when large-scale conflict breaks out, that racial &/or ethnic factors won’t play a large role. Even in Haiti, there was the complicating factor of the French revolution. It might even be plausibly argued that the Santo Domingo uprising was simply a local expression of that latter conflict but even so no one is in doubt that race was the predominating factor.

The coming wars will be even more troubled, dirtier, confused & partisan than all previous wars because of the forced mixing of the last 50 years or so. In the coming war(s), loyalties will be stretched to the snapping point. At first, no one will know who is his friend until finally the survivors of this meat-grinder will place their trust based only on race/ethnicity. Thanks, Tribe!

It sounds like some people here are actually buying the globalist prestitute’s narrative that it was Iran that attacked the Saudi oil facilities.

It’s unfortunate how well these false flag CIA/Mossad operations work time and time again to foment wars and crisis. The controlled MSM always obeys and never asks questions. Proxy wars have been a method of two powers to feel themselves out during the past 100 years. Spain, Korea, VietNam, Syria, and now Yemen. Iran and Saudi Arabia are feeling each other out in Yemen. Iran is absolutely crazy. They just supplied the mechanisms to curtail the world’s supply of oil, including us, China, and Europe. Good move, idiots. If it continues, and it will now, this maybe the beginning of the end of the dual powered Middle East. I know who the US will support.

If the attacks were perpetrated by the Houthis (as a proxy for Iranian frustrations even amid its denials) and assuming it was not a False Flag event, a drop in world oil supplies of 5% could cause such a disruptive price spike (13% at present), the aparent solution would be to pull the ridiculous sanctions and allow Iranian oil back into the market.

    • FincaInTheMountains September 15, 2019 at 10:19 am #

Most likely we, Russians, did it, since we got tired of ridiculously low oil prices.

    One more.

I have read folks saying that Iran will beat the US if a war breaks out.

You are nuts. The US has but to obliterate Iran’s capital with a couple of MOABs, and there’s will be nothing left of Iran. Iran’s population in concentrated in the north, the rest is desert. They have no defense against the US. Or maybe Israel, or maybe Saudi Arabia. It will be easier than Desert Storm, during which the same idiots thought that Saddam was going to beat us.

The oil crisis coming will force much of the world to come out against Iran. One way of handling this could be to invade southern Iran and take over the oil production capability of Iran. Then dare their little army to do anything about it.

The fall of the Soviet Union and “Communism” was a terrible blow for the Deep State. There always has to be an Enemy after all. And Emergency – thus the “War on Drugs” and the “War on Poverty”, etc. Luckily 9/11 “happened” and a new Enemy was created. We helped the Enemy by bringing vast numbers of them into the West. Have to give them a fighting chance after all. As McCain said, the War was now here too. Total spectrum dominance over all enemies – with the American People suddenly Enemy Number One.

Blowback is a term originating from within the American Intelligence community, denoting the unintended consequences, unwanted side-effects, or suffered repercussions of a covert operation that fall back on those responsible for the aforementioned operations. To the civilians suffering the blowback of covert operations, the effect typically manifests itself as “random” acts of political violence without a discernible, direct cause; because the public—in whose name the intelligence agency acted—are unaware of the effected secret attacks that provoked revenge (counter-attack) against them.[1]

Over and over again, the Deep State is the number one enemy of the people of the United States. Yet, 50% or so of those people buy into the BS that is presented to them daily and will vote for Dems and RINOs. The real enemies of the freedoms of our country are the people who vote these Benedict Arnolds into office. The government is a microcosm of the people.

SA was attacked by folks with good knowledge of drone warfare. Hmm, we know we have that, probably Russia, probably China and definitely Iran as they have used them in the Gulf.

If this was the Globalists doing this, who is their front man. Did the Deep State elements in the US front the weapons to the Rebels through either Iran or the globalists? If so, a single point attack to stir the pot is appropriate. If it is Iran itself, armed by say Russia, attacks should continue, trying to punish the world for the sanctions.

Just supposing. Hmuller is correct that bad forces are at play here and who is supplying the weapons needs to be ascertained. But when the culprits are discovered, they need to pay a price. The Deep State is talented at avoiding responsibility for all kinds of bad behavior.

In Continuation and explanation of the previous post or how propaganda works

Yesterday, one of the American television networks reported that Trump said that Bolton was fired because he was preventing him from taking decisive steps against Venezuela and Cuba. And the panic began:

If the super-hawk Bolton understood that a military action against Venezuela of Maduro would lead to a new Vietnam at best, and at worst to the so-called partition of Poland 2.0, and tried to keep Trump from this stupidity, then Trump does not understand anything if fired Bolton for trying to make peace?!

English-speaking friends from New York called and SMS me with stories about mobilizing the National Guard and transferring parts of the American army to Riohacha on the border with Venezuela.

I even got a call from one of Eton’s graduates, who is now living in Cartagena, asking if Sechin is Putin’s official successor (I told him about Sechin’s military talents and that he, as the head of Rosneft, now commands everything in Venezuela)

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Igor_Sechin

And it affected me so much that I typed Venezuela News in Google and saw the article “Venezuela is ready to defend itself,” the meaning of which is that last Wednesday, September 11, the USA brought into force a regional pact of 10 Latin American countries on mutual assistance in the event of aggression, which, with great stretch, gives the “right” to the United States to carry out military intervention against Venezuela, and the Foreign Minister of Venezuela said that “Venezuela is ready to defend itself.”

The fact is that the theory of world projects suggests that the conflict in Venezuela most desired by Marco Rubio, who, by the will of Bastinda, the Great and Terrible, was one of Trump’s main enemies in the 2016 elections and long before the Big Bargain with Bush Clan was removed as obstacle to Trump by Jeb Bush – Governor of Florida in 2000.

And this is only why Trump cannot wish for a US war with Venezuela, and the notorious agreement on mutual assistance of Latin American countries was activated on September 11, primarily against Trump, who fired Bolton.

And Trump’s phrase about Bolton, holding him back from decisive action in Venezuela, was a response to the statement of the aforementioned Marco Rubio, who openly began to promote the anti-Trump campaign in connection with Bolton’s dismissal.

And the fact that at the same time the notorious agreement of 10 Latin American countries was activated says that Hillary Clinton (aka Bastinda), not anymore so great and terrible, is behind all this.

Too bad there isn’t any practical way to make it happen lol. And most of the low level open borders advocates would do a 180 in a flash if they were really forced to face the music on their ideology.

Well, nobody’s hair on fire over the drone attacks on Saudi oil facilities. Have the Sunday morning news shows on, event not even mentioned. New state laws being proposed to help men transition into becoming women, impeachment of President Trump, eliminating local school districts to give failed urban school administrators control over surrounding towns, more gun control, those were the topics. Access to cheap oil is not even on the radar.

      IF

SA has lost 50% of its production, as announced

The US opens up the Strategic reserve

The impact will be assessed early this week. Watch the Price of oil, the insiders know! When everyone is paying much more for gas, we will see how much impact it has. And remember, we are a small customer for SA oil compared to the world.

Fox is covering the situation thoroughly. Trump just backed up SA saying US will stand by them. You can bet that the intelligence community is hustling right now trying to pin blame. Interesting that the CIA has never predicted any major occurrence on the world scene before it happened, surprise, surprise. Maybe because they are involved in all of them?

    • Janos Skorenzy September 15, 2019 at 12:06 pm #

Yeah I was amazed. Turned the news on last night and not a word. Not even on the regular internet news sites. Big hush hush until they figure out an angle. One argument in favor of the idea that they didn’t do it and were caught flat footed.

      • hmuller September 15, 2019 at 8:17 pm #

Whenever there’s a school shooting, the globalists push the gun control narrative. In light of the SA attacks it would make sense to push the “drone missile control narrative”. And of course we start by confiscating drone missiles possessed by the US military. “Missiles kill children, don’t you know!”

    From my article above:

The case of Aboubakar Fofana is typical—and like countless incidents in the United States. in July 2018, this repeat offender was stopped at a police checkpoint in Nantes. He tried to drive off at the risk of ploughing into people nearby, including children. A quick-thinking officer shot him dead. The officer was then arrested. This was followed by five days of riots and arson by immigrants to whom Fofana was a hero.

JS: America is different, at least right now. Police aren’t arrested for shooting criminals and terrorists – or regular people either. That above is Hillary’s America. Or Warren’s. Or Sander’s. Both are bad, but theirs is worse. Order is the first and primary job of the Government. They refuse to protect the citizenry at all, even as they oppress them in other ways. Our Big Government represses but at least still protects a bit anyway.

          True

But I think many people believe police are their own security detail, mostly due to ubiquitous cop TV programming in all its manifestations. In reality police show up after you’re already dead.

The only people with armed security details protecting them at all times are BigLib Senators, Congressmen and presidential candidates agitating for gun control. None of them have said so far I will be disarming my security officers.

The basis of our Constitution is individual responsibility. This is each persons price to pay for freedom and liberty.

It is also the credo the Left is trying to destroy in their quest for centralized power. Bad violent public behavior always stems from the Left as they do not practice their own good behavior. They cannot even be civil in a presidential debate. Immaturity at its finest. Ok. Apparently that assault in Minneapolis was nothing out of the ordinary. According to comments in other crime stories the mayor and city council do not back the police and have more or less ordered them to stand down when it comes to arresting blacks and Somalis. So they have a free hand to assault whitey whenever the opportunity presents itself. Another video shows a young white girl walking down the street and being coldcocked by a passing club member. One comment mentioned a surgeon who worked nearby being assaulted by a swarm of club members and beaten into a coma, dying 26 days later. This is an eye opener for me. Yes, Hartford, New Haven and Bridgeport are dystopic welfare colony crapholes, but they are not the only ones.

I wonder if there’s a god of irony in this neck of the cosmos.

I found this on-line. It was composed by a chap that died from TB in 1901 at the early age of 34. He was a Russian by the name of Vasily Kalinnikov, and as the poster sez down below in the youtube commentary, this is a masterpiece. It really is. I can’t get rid of the tune inside my head. And I must have listened to it a dozen times since I found it a week ago. And who knows why it isn’t better known.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EdnO6vEaHk

Anyway, this is a western art form performed absolutely masterfully by non-westerners, that is a Russian composer and a Russian conductor (Evgeny Svetlanov 1928-2002 RIP) and a live Japanese orchestra. This really knocks your socks off. It is absolutely great.

So here we have the Best of the West by Russians and Japanese. While we in the West go down the road of civilizational suicide led on by our idiot business and cultural and political and academic elites, those others are busy preserving what’s best about us, even those that set themselves against the West. Wouldn’t it be ironic if the West survives in centers of civilization on the European and Asian steppes and on the Pacific coast and dies in its homelands?

Here’s a recorded version by the USSR State Symphony Orchestra. Besides being murderers, the Bolshies fucked up massively, but having said that, this is one place where they didn’t. Crank the volume. Enjoy.

    • SoftStarLight September 15, 2019 at 3:10 pm #

Maybe it’s more ambiguous than that V. After all, Russians and Japanese have their own decadence and weaknesses. The Japanese birthrate is below replacement level just like the Russians and just like all the Western countries. It’s not out of the question that Muslims dominate Russia in the future given that they have been invited in like in Western Europe. And as Japan shrinks China is growing. It seems like the West is going into a new Dark Age. No one will be worried about symphonies when their not sure when their next meal will be or if someone will steal the last of the food and water. Perhaps it is more likely that the Visigoths will come back into style.

      • volodya September 15, 2019 at 4:01 pm #

Nothing remains of Roman music. Zip. Fifth Century BC to Fifth Century AD, one thousand years worth, gonzo, all of it. I suspect that most of our best stuff will go too, at least in the places where it was developed, because just look at where things are headed, and look at who’s contending for leadership.

But I also suspect that there’s a stronger will to live in other places, for example, in central and eastern Europe, places that like you say have got their own decadence and weaknesses, but places that in my view haven’t completely succumbed to idiocy and senility like we have. And yeah, it’s true, some of those guys look and sound like black-guards.

And I still have got some hope for the UK. Their toffs are utter imbeciles, way past their guillotine date, as evidenced by this Brexit laugh-fest. But the common people seem to still have some piss and vinegar left in them.

It took Europe a millennium to recover from the Roman collapse. You saw some glimmers with Charles Martel and push-back with the Crusades, more hope with the Renaissance but until the enlightenment, IMO it was a toss-up as to which becomes the dominant civilization.

When we go down, it’s not clear to me that there will be a recovery like last time. Maybe there won’t be and just about everything we’ve done goes down the drain. Maybe it’s barbarism as far as the eye can see. Or, if not total barbarism, people with radically different ideas take over, as you say, Muslim dominance. Maybe St Peter’s Basilica becomes a mosque. Can’t happen? It sure can, look at the Hagia Sophia. Right now it’s a museum. How long before ole’ Erdogan makes it into a mosque?

As to who worries about art forms, there will be art forms, the question is what kind. Even forty thousand years ago there were art forms. There are bone flutes that are tens of thousand of years old. There’s magnificent paintings and sculptures done by hunters, that are about the same age, from the depths of the ice-age.

And there will likely be an upper class that pays for these art forms just like there’s been since the first cities took root. The question is who they’ll be, and what of their material culture. Will anything of our our Greco-Roman-Judaic heritage survive? Or do people just completely abandon it?

        • Q. Shtik September 15, 2019 at 4:33 pm #

There were two things I noticed in that first video you linked for us:
. The whole orchestra appeared to be Asian.
. The conductor had a facial mannerism I have never seen before; his lower jaw wobbled side to side continuously. Not that this has anything to do with the beauty of their music.

          • volodya September 15, 2019 at 4:43 pm #

            You noticed that wobble too.

There was something else that one of the youtube commenters noticed, that first Svetlanov applauded the musicians, then he held aloft the score, and only then did he turn take the applause from the audience. A totally class act.

Your point that the players were Asian was exactly the point, that Western Civ is a portable set of skills, and that if we’re too daft or addled to preserve it, as we appear to be, then maybe others will preserve it, at least pieces of it. This is stuff I don’t want to see lost.

And boy wasn’t that music just great. And that orchestra was awesome.

And for Yanks who still didn’t learn Russian:

It isn’t over until it’s over

For seven years we scoured the seven seas
And at our mast we flew the Jolly Roger
We learned to mend our ship in storm or breeze
And if a plank were sprung, by Christ we’d bodge her!

Now the navy’s firing shots across our bows
The sea’s dead calm; the crew is all hung-over
But the captain merely smiles at us and vows:
It isn’t over until it’s over!

The flagship frigate turns herself broadside
And clouds of smoke start pouring from her scuppers
      Audaciously our cannons then reply
Destruction! Death! They’re singing for their suppers!

We’ve been through worse; it looks like our luck’s in
But storms are brewing; and we’re holed, moreover.
The captain shouts above the hellish din:
      – It isn’t over until it’s over!

Through telescopes a hundred glaring eyes
Spy us grey and smoky from our sallies
But they will never view us in the guise
Of slaves chained up to oars in navy galleys!

We’ve been outgunned! Our ship is going to sink!
We’ll never get to see the cliffs of Dover!
But our captain doesn’t ever even blink!
      – It isn’t over until it’s over!

Who wants to live, who’s merry, keep your grip –
And prepare yourself for vicious cutthroat fighting!
We’ll let the rats get off the sinking ship –
We can do without them at our ankles biting!

The rats were thinking that the captain lied
Abandon ship! They all died sober!
But we heave to along the frigate’s side.
      – It isn’t over until it’s over!

Knife to cutlass, fist to gullet, eye to eye!
Lest we be food for octopus or conger,
Our pistols and our sabers make them cry, –
Their vessel won’t be floating for much longer!

But it’s not meant to be, she won’t go down
She’ll carry us to port – we’ll be in clover
For the ocean never lets the sailor drown
      Who doesn’t say it’s over… until it’s over.

Having listened to Sunday’s political broadcasts in the United States, I decided to publish the final post of a series of posts on the balance of power after Epstein’s “suicide” and summarizing I’ll begin by describing the balance of power at the moment, without taking into account the imaginary or true “suicide” of Epstein, but in accordance with the posts written with this in mind, in order to demonstrate the difference in conclusions at the end.

So, the special prosecutor John Durham and the Inspector General of the Department of Justice Horowitz both are investigating the beginning of the investigation of the special prosecutor Mueller, since there are serious reasons to believe that this investigation was launched on the basis of the so-called Steele’s dossier, which could not be verified, and those who submitted it to the special FISA court which issued permission to eavesdrop on Trump’s campaign have conveniently “forgotten” to mention that this dossier was compiled with the money of the US Democratic Party, that is, with the money of Hillary Clinton, and that it has not been confirmed by independent sources of information.

But in fact, everyone knows that Hillary Clinton, as the head of the deep state, committed a number of crimes and coups, but everyone is so used to the fact that Mafiosi in the US are being charged for tax evasion, and not for contract killings, so far only accusation has been presented to her of violating state secrecy by using a private server for state correspondence, and only in a report published 3 days ago by Horowitz, which investigates the violation of official instructions of the Department of Justice by the FBI director and his deputies, appeared that one of them named Wiener was intentionally using a private server for state correspondence because it allowed him to conceal his crimes.

Moreover, a real conspiracy was formed up in the Department to hide the existence of this server, and this mutual frankpledge made Hillary believe in her invincibility so much that before the publication of the Horowitz report, she didn’t even very much hide her exploits.

But after the publication of the Horowitz report, she had doubts about this and having a premonition of a similar accusation made against her, she expressed these doubts in a very strange way by posting a printout of her emails at an art exhibition in Venice, about which I will write a separate post.

And just a week ago, Trump’s supporters were despondent in connection with the refusal of the same Horowitz to indict the FBI Director Comey, but this week Horowitz partially acquitted himself by pending indictment of the acting FBI Director McCabe, and this was one of the reasons for the assumption that the troops moved and the new battle of Kurukshetra began, although without taking into account Epstein’s “suicide” the events are clearly not large enough for such a comparison.

That is why psychic stress, or, if you prefer, the epicenter of spiritual struggle has moved from New York and Washington to London, once again demonstrating that the Great Trump Revolution and Brexit are one and the same historical process and manifestation of the unity of the Anglo-Saxon world

” One question is to what degree nowadays do they believe their own bullshit. If you’re trying to prop up an unsustainable regime is it better to believe your own lies? Or not? ”

This reminds me of a particular episode of an old popular TV sitcom called , ” Seinfeld ” .

In the show , there was this character named George.

    George was a pathological liar.

    — And George had to take a polygraph test to land a plum job.

He took the test , passed it , and landed the nice sinecure.

Now there was this other Character named Elaine , who found herself in a similar situation.

There was some — trivial and inconsequential — question she feared they would ask her , and she was loathe to answer such a question .

Not really because she had any dead children in her basement , or the like , but because , after all , even the cleanest persons dirty laundry doesn’t smell like Daffodils.

So she went to George , and asked him , ” How did you do it ?? ”

He didn’t have much luck explaining things to her , until the very end , as she was about to take her leave empty – handed and disappointed.

He said , ” Just remember ; It’s not a lie if you believe it. ”

We have gone through 300 to 500 years ( ? ) worth of resources in a single century , and , ” common sense laws ” , and freedom ” , now amounts to pissing in a cup for a job at Burger King.

And , presumably , this all makes sense , simply because they say it does.

    • I don’t know… those people seem to enjoy paying money to eat at Burger King.

Asceticism was the fetish of the rich 500 years ago , and that hasn’t changed.

And for 5,000 years , one simple way to gauge the welfare of the working class was whether , or the degree to which , they had meat in their diet.

Hint ; if the number is zero , you damn sure don’t want equality . You want to be aristocracy , no question about it.

  65. The strange thing about drone warfare is the asymmetry of casualties with a successful attack.

The scale of the attack doesn’t require commitment of man hours. So an attack could be epic in scale.

I wouldn’t doubt a general in Iran would “unleash the dogs of war” with a dog that couldn’t be stopped, that would travel undetected, that could be attributed to Yemen.

Iran is sending a message- that they have the means to strike anywhere, at any time.

This is a knife to Bin-salman’s throat. What it means is anybody’s guess going forward.

“This is a knife to Bin-salman’s throat. What it means is anybody’s guess going forward.”

It means superior weaponry does not guarantee military victory. It means Trump squeezed Iran with severe sanctions and they have ways of striking back that hurt the USA.

Sure they do. But there are rules. And for every kinetic action, there is often an equal and opposite reaction. If Iran is behind this, expect a strike on THEIR oil fields.
