There is something about being detached from reality that makes it hard to go about your everyday business. In the quaint asylums of yore, it was understood that a few shocks to the system could bring lunatics out of a fugue state of derangement — a cold water plunge… an insulin hot-shot to induce convulsions… some electrodes placed artfully on select regions of the brain…. It looks like America is about to be treated to some shocks. Will they break the mass formation psychosis that styles itself unironically as “progressive politics?”
The first shock will be the painful recognition that Ukraine is not prevailing against Russia’s Operation Z, despite the combined efforts of the US news media and the Intel Community to put over that narrative. True, it took Russia more than a few days to overcome Ukraine’s NATO-fortified defenses, but now most of that has been neutralized, and we’re into the final weeks heading towards resolution — which will be a Ukraine that is unable to make any more trouble in that corner of the world.
That’s right, hard as it is to accept, Operation Z came down on Ukraine because it misbehaved badly, egged-on by delusional war-gamers in Washington, who could only pretend to support Ukraine once the real action started. No amount of chanting Putin-Putin-Putin availed to stop the grinding Russian advance. State’s Antony Blinken and DoD’s General Austin were in Kiev over the weekend on a face-saving mission. My guess: they tried to persuade Mr. Zelenskyy to throw in the towel. He may be too desperate and crazy to listen, but it’s truly game-over. The Russians will treat him with kid gloves, perhaps give him leave to settle in Miami and enjoy the American dream with the fortune he has squirreled away. There will be changes in the map. Ukraine will sink back into peaceful obscurity while the US and Europe have to struggle with the impoverishing blowback from wrecking the global trade settlement system.
The next shock will be the utterly predictable crash of global financial markets, which started last Friday and is looking to gain momentum this week. Watch it shove Ukraine clean off the media landing pages and the cable news chyrons. The Hang Seng and Shanghai exchanges closed today down respectively 3.7 and 5.1 percent. Pretty awesome. China unravels with its massive lockdowns, factory shutdowns, and shipping breakdowns. All because of more Covid, really? (I doubt it.) Europe’s markets are red all over this morning, surely fretting over the suicide pact with America to go “green” by energy starvation. The dirty secret is that nobody will be going “green” the way fantasists propose. Rather, we’ll be going medieval.
You can see our nauseating freefall in real time. A friend set forth to shop for a car last week. Her current ride is eight years old and has 110-K on the odo. At two dealerships, there was no inventory of new cars on the lots. The low-mileage used cars were actually priced higher than the new ones (which were not there), and all prices are generally higher than a sinking middle-class can possibly afford. Delivery of a new car could not be promised before September at the earliest, the sales rep said. I will tell you what this means: it means that the car industry’s business model is broken.
Similarly, a conversation I had Saturday with the farm-and-garden store owner in town; supplies of everything are off. Wholesale cost of everything is out-of-sight. He usually has a hundred chain saws in stock this time of year. This April, he’s only got ten. Anything electrical — no replacement parts. They’re short on fertilizer and vegetable seeds. Meanwhile, food processing plants all around the country are mysteriously blowing up and burning down. No supper for you, America!
Next shock to the system: Remember Covid-19? Do you have any idea how much homicidal fraud was committed in its name by the pharmaceutical industry and the public health agencies of the US government? Follow Edward Dowd’s Gettr feed to get a general idea. The former Black Rock investment manager has been collecting the actuarial tables from the life insurance industry. From country-to-country we are seeing a 40 percent increase in all-causes mortality for people in the prime of life. Wall Street has noticed, Mr. Dowd says.
The key to the issue is that fraud obviates the liability shield conferred on Pfizer, Moderna, et al., by the government’s emergency use authorization (EUA). Awaiting in parallel to all that is the criminal culpability of many hundreds, perhaps thousands, of government officials, hospital executives, and doctors who killed their patients while in thrall to the CDC. Dr. Naomi Wolf has engaged over two thousand researchers and hundreds of lawyers in gathering the hard evidence of these frauds. All of this will eventually flip the Covidian catatonics out of their trances (and their stupid masks).
Sometime in May, Hillary Clinton attorney Michael Sussmann will be the second RussiaGater to go on trial (following FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith last year). It looks like Special Counsel John Durham does not need to make a plea deal with Mr. Sussmann; Durham’s office already has enough evidence to move up the feeding chain to the bigger fish. Many still doubt that he will actually try. I do not. Indictments of rogue bureaucrats and political celebrities will conclude the seditious mindfuck that sent the country reeling into mass formation.
None of these shocks can be postponed anymore. The Left’s war on America’s psyche is over. America is going to get its mind right, even as we suffer hardship from years of epic mismanagement of our affairs. What remains is separating out the dupes from the perps.

No new cars. Inverse to lots of crime.
Electric vehicles is not the plan Limiting people movement is It’s been for the last 40 years or so, with highway tolls and regulations, electric is just a new way to prevent people from moving out of the control zones (cities)
IS USA S.A. 2?
South Africa is in a state of total collapse.
The rioting, looting and arson last summer totally wrecked the country — forever. All the public systems of a modern country built by whites prior to 1990 — roads, electrical power plants, rail, water reservoirs, cities …
have deteriorated into dust due to lack of maintenance, investment and upkeep. South Africa, with its poverty, violence and decay, more and more resembles the rest of sub saharan Africa;
in a few more generations evidence of any prior European presence will hardly exist.
The extent to which the Boers have to go to reinforce their farms and just stay alive in South Africa has sounded grim and untenable for years, now.
I’ve followed that story in as much as it’s possible to do so, considering that the press has no interest whatsoever. It’s an absolute tragedy. I don’t know at this point to what extent the remaining white farmers are clinging on, if at all. If anyone knows a good source for what is happening there, I’d be interested if they’d post it. Are they still hanging on? Giving up and leaving the country?
I wonder what a hectare of real estate is selling for down there these days? Maybe someone like Musk could buy everything up and own the country, much like Billy Gates and China has done with the farms in the American heartland?

Farmland is a documentary by Lauren Southern and I found it informative. A friend of my sister’s is from a farming community there (South Africa) and his brother stayed to run the farm. He said three years ago they were invaded by 4 blacks with guns and he and his son were able to scare them off before they were killed. He was wounded and reported it to the local police who took no interest in finding the men. He can’t get out b/c (believe it or not) he can’t get a visa from the US as a political refugee fleeing violence and the South African government has made a lot of statements about confiscating Boer land so no one wants to buy it.
If you get a chance, I think you’ll like the documentary even though it’s by no means inclusive of all their problems.
I’m pretty sure Russia has already resettled a few thousand Boers on Siberian farmland.
Of course, the cabal would tell us this is another reason we should hate them.

It’ll really depend where you are in North America. Rural or Urban. West or Midwest, etc.
Parts of the US, that have large Amish/Mennonite, or ultra-conservative agricultural Hispanic communities– will be fine. These are just two examples.
Urban America is in big trouble generally, imho
Agree. White people with affluenza and anomie are the worst. They need to be presented with something REAL to worry about.
When reading the demented screeds of the woke, or seeing them displaying their mental illness on the web, I’ve often thought that the best cure for what ails them would be to walk behind a horse drawn plow for a few years, picking up stones. A small dose of reality just won’t do for these people, they’re too far gone. They need to be doing something comparable to picking cotton in the hot sun for 12 hours a day. Every day. We’ll see how worried they are about being misgendered then.
I like how you think. And they do have the minimum requisite skills for picking rock. Might actually slim their middles, help them sleep better, and give them a sense of accomplishment.
You give them too much credit, all it would do would be to fentynal themselves.
The Japanese actually have therapies like this: Spill out a huge box of matches and then place them all back in the box, all going the same way. Watch your mind and heart as you do it, until you can do it peacefully, just doing it.
Another, similar, for patience. Suspend a five-gallon pail with a pinhole, in the air, from a rope. Sit and watch – drop-by-drop – until empty.
What about the old Chinese water drop torture?
You like indulging in racial stereotypes, don’t you?
So everyone is the same? That’s not how the Chinese see the world. They think very highly of themselves – and not without some just cause.
I worry about the young men. Will they even be able to man up?
Not as long as they are raised by single mothers and female teachers.
You asked, I answered.
And the next question, Will the young women ever be able to woman up?
Answer: Not as long as they are raised by single mothers and demented female teachers and exposed to the evil media.
I asked, I answered. The dog barks, the caravan passes.
Yes, Jarek, many young women have delusions about their own physical capabilities and a distinct contempt for men, I don’t see them adapting well to a return to the traditional supporting roles for women.
Not if they have two mommies or two daddies, but then again if you have a high court nominee who can’t even answer what a woman is then they are in big trouble because skin color won’t help a bit.
@ Rowdypiglet:
That’s what wrong with most people who suffer from emotional problems: They have no real problems.
Thomas Merton’s thoughts on this have resonated with me over the course of many years. He said that the more you try to avoid suffering, the more you suffer from inconsequential things, until you are made miserable over miniscule or even imaginary troubles.
It would do the “woke” a world of good to be dropped off in the wilderness with nothing but a pocket knife, and left there for a few years.
Of course they may soon have to face what is in many ways a worse situation: living in the new America without money–that is, without a working monetary system. Such an America will be a very dangerous place.
If only.
It is good to see our work against the trans agenda picking up steam. Lots of people being ‘peak transed’ these days.
Hey you Trannies who rushed out to be Peak Trannied: If penises come back in fashion do you think yours will grow back if given sufficient fertilizer and regular watering?
Sorry, the world’s fertilizer supplies have been sanctioned by the Bedpan Administration to punish the producers of fertilizer. Once Woke, forever Woke.
In a recent quantitative study, researchers found that the USA ranks 57the among the nations of the world for length of penis.
Who needs MEN now that the technology for artificial insemination has been so well tested among other varieties of livestock?
I don’t think you understand what ‘peak trans’ means – lol.
The gangs have already begun following the affluenza types home from high-end shopping to alleviate them of their possessions and vehicles.
Kind of like “shopping for shoppers”. Can’t blame them, one has to do what it takes to survive these days. I always say that if it feels good / feels right, then just do it!
All in all, it could not happen to a more deserving bunch of people! Let the Woke college-educated white folks get a wake up call from the “superior” peeps who inhabit the Inner City areas. Meanwhile us Un-woke college-educated white folks tend to pack heat.
Yes, I tend to believe many of the folks in that demographic were also enormous backers of the Covid hysteria and BLM mischief.
https://newafricanmagazine.com/27735/
Well, most African countries don’t want SA to collapse or anything unruly to happen to white SA’s. We are normal people over here, you see.
But Countries are not run by “normal people” are they?
They’re run by politicians.
Yes, good and bad.
Remember Covid-19? Remember?
Lost angeles is still in semi lock down, schools, libraries, small businesses destroyed.
I like that – Lost Angeles!
And where do you live?
Shreveport Louisiana! What starts with an “Sh” and ends in a “t”??? Shreveport! But living here is pretty easy as long as you stay out of the bad parts of town.
Shreepo.
I am sure Shreveport is a rather nice city, compared to most urban centers throughout our country. You never really hear any big news coming out of there nationally, so it can’t be all that bad. I haven’t been to that part of Louisiana, but would certainly not mind a visit at some point in the future (if at that time I can afford the gas to drive down there…..).
Greetings,
The deep state isn’t done just yet. Blinken announced that Putin had failed in Ukraine that the State Department would be returning its ambassadors to Kiev and that we’d be sending in more military aid.
We still have a long way to go before we reach the bottom.
Indeed, they actually seem to be taking encouragement from Putin’s relatively slow progress. And they’re also signaling that Ukraine is just the start. If a rump state is left in the west, that will be the new forward base for continued instigations. If not, it will be Poland, the Baltics, Finland, and/or Sweden.
The west has decided to go all in on this one, which indicates that they no longer feel they have anything left to lose. All of which means that Putin is eventually going to have go really, really big or not at all.
The best bet for a decisive outcome appears for Russia, China, and Iran to unite and put the energy and economic squeeze on the west, which the west’s moronic sanctions have encouraged them to do, and all that of course will take much longer to be decisive.
I still haven’t figured out if western leaders are actually that stupid, or whether all of this is a coordinated effort by globalists to put the final squeeze on western populations and strip mine them for their resources. We’re certainly ripe for the taking.
They’re simply stupid.
Failed upward. Protected. Peter Principle.
If you’ve ever worked in a government office this is not speculation but fact.
My husband worked at NASA as an engineer for decades, and he’s said as much. It is impossible for incompetents to get fired–they just get kicked upstairs or shuffled off to another department. He saw only one person get outright fired in all that time–a child molester.
It’s not totally dysfunctional. For his part, my husband stalled out at a certain GS level (thanks to office politics) that kept him out of management and out on the propulsion test stands, which he loved.
MB-
Sounds just like the big defense contractors, which are really just extensions of the government at this point.
@megabeth
If your husband worked at NASA, can he verify if we actually went to the moon?
I happened upon their Flat Earth Theory and there is a lot of information that seems a little like the Coveed narrative.
Maybe make believe, like the round earth and shit like that.
Sea-level, the atlas, science, science, science, its just another theory, at least thats what I am believing now.
Riddle me this, if the moon landing is real, and 911 was as reported, and the earth is a globe flying thru space, then viral theory must be fact.
Then Brandon is the most popular president of all time?
Having fun all day now.
I love clusterfucked nation. It’s my news source.
Ya those child-molesters are a real blight and hard to weed out..
Mr. Banjo, you made my old man laugh! He once had an office in one of the test stands that tested the Saturn V engines. They had to dig canals just to float those big things to the stand. It was a lot of effort that went into pulling the wool over your eyes, it was. He’s met Apollo astronauts and old engineers who made those things fly, and claims to know the secrets of Area 51. LOL.
Banjo, just because men flew to the moon (like one NASA astronaut/moon lander famously answered when asked if the moon landing was fake – “Then why did we do it 5 times?!!”), Muslim jihadists crashed the World Trade Center, and the earth is round, these truths bear no connection to the obvious falsity and gaming of the last election, for which there is ample proof beginning with information suppression and corruption,
Dis,
To underestimate your adversary is always a mistake, and can be occasionally fatal.
Western leaders are not stupid. They grew up in the same culture as you and I. The assault on that culture is intentional, and directed to an end we can only speculate upon.
Ely – nice, nail on head.
@megabeth
If I managed to get a laugh out of anyone these days, my whole day has been a success.
I worked for a civil engineering firm that surveyed the track for the wind tunnel in a huge hanger at Lockheed in Mt View,CA.
The huge propeller was like 80 feet across and generated speeds of like 500 mph, some ungodly thing. And the tolerance had to be within hundredths.
I was really impressed as a youngster how smart and dedicated those old boys were.
Pre computer savvy like we have currently.
Slide rule kinda savvy…
HP 35 was a big deal, little trig calculator.
The calculation center was “the Beast” in Ann Arbor Mich. log in and hope for the best in FORTRAN. CECi a huge data base with the know and tube kinda punch card shit.
Does anyone even know what that is these days??
The good old days of wonder and hope for the future.
I had friend whose uncle worked at Area 51 out of Las Vegas NM.
He had a pet spider monkey and it would bite him when talking on the phone and hang up and corral the little shit.
Shows the kind of people who actually worked there, never said what he did, but he was quiet and solo kinds guy. Interesting.
Are you all residing in a normal part of the US?
Cali is getting its ass beat a little, but the food is gonna change all that.
Smart people think water comes in pipes and don’t know not to shit in clean water.
I would love to meet some of the folks on this site, but this ain’t bad.!!
I fell in love with Mary Q the first day, she is single. But I am married so thats that.
My rant…
Your portrait of your California town and its flattened pedestrians was good and depressing. Most of So. Cal. depresses me like that. Such a tyranny of automobiles.
My husband was trained as an E.E. in the slipstick and HP 35 days. To hear him talk makes me wish I had gone into mechanical engineering, myself. He did mention that he had a lot of instruction in various programming languages. As a project, he and his classmates designed a video game that made the then-popular Pong seem lame.
Throughout his career, he has had to do a lot of coding for one reason or another. I never get tired of his work stories.
Just to be clear, although he has an alien tattooed on his arm (it looks more like an 18-week fetus to me) he only talks about “Area 51 Secrets” to pull people’s legs. You would not believe how often he gets asked about those kind of things.
We live in the rural Great Lakes region, and are locked and loaded for when the Chinese (or Angeleños) try to put a straw in Lake Superior and drink it dry. The locals here have a barbaric trick of pinning down miscreants and giving them a yellow perch suppository–nose first.
R Banjo, that sort of hands-on knowledge is precious. Also permanently gone I would imagine. Is it not possible that there has already been a “quiet takeover”, and we are in thrall to the Rule of the Robots?
The absolute (and ghastly) dependence of infrastructure, aviation, medicine, banking, media, manufacturing … and I could go on … on increasingly ethereal technology, all linked up and talking to each other – and all gone at a prankish coronal mass ejection – sunsnot.
Being a naturally suspicious sort (East Texas boy, gone bad) I am also increasingly convinced external control is being imposed, as a form of guidance in the affairs of humankind. Whether it is a quiet cabal of reptilians or holy spirits of Tibet, whoever, is unclear and yet may eventually be revealed.
“Time’s up, Buster. Now get back in that cage and pipe down or you’ll get a taste of this taser.”
In the 1950s, before the colossal loss of faith in ideologies, with two mighty superpowers going eyeball-to-eyeball of a hedge of B-36s and TU-95s, faith in the “System” (name your poison, Kapital or Commie) was pure and comforting. Read something here that made me laugh, in meandering round the web:
“Subsequently, during the Cold War, he [James Burnham] called for an aggressive strategy against the Soviet Union. A contributor to The Freeman in the early 1950s, he considered the magazine too focused on economic issues, though it presented a wide range of opinion on the Soviet threat. In The Struggle for the World (1947), he called for common citizenship between the United States, Great Britain, and the British dominions, as well as a ‘World Federation’ against communism. Burnham thought in terms of a hegemonic world, instead of a balance of power:
‘A World Federation initiated and led by the United States would be, we have recognized, a World Empire. In this imperial federation, the United States, with a monopoly of atomic weapons, would hold a preponderance of decisive material power over all the rest of the world. In world politics, that is to say, there would not be a balance of power’.[16]
(A ripple of sad laughter passes over the audience as they look at their watches and prepare to scatter.)
This is tragic for Russia. The new eastern Ukrainian pro Russian republics will simply be re-shelled and harassed openly by the Ukrainians who will always say they are going to “liberate” them from Russian domination. This limited war of Putin’s is all for naught and will lead to the demise of his national-patriotic regime. They didn’t war game this out concerning a maniacally Neo-liberal western counter response which is what they are about to get.
Not to act would have been fatal too. The Ukies were massing on the border of the Donbass. Would Russians have stood for a leader who wouldn’t save his own people?
He going to have to nuke us I’m afraid. As the Neo-Cons used to say about nuking them or Saudi Arabia, Why wait?
Bingo.
Martin Armstrong says on his computer model we will be engulfed in ww3 by end of year, the first part of next year–the leadership in euro land, usa ,need a big big diversion …
As Putin says, a Russian doesn’t take a crap without a plan, so I wouldn’t worry too much about Russia.
Dis-
It is most worrisome that no one on either side is talking about diplomacy at this point, nor does it appear there isxany desire to.
The Ukrainian secret police killed a Ukrainian negotiator in March because they didn’t like his attitude.
Would you volunteer to be the next one?
The economic collapse will fix the idiot ambitions of the neocons. They’ll be too busy worrying about yiddistan, to bother with Poland.
I have the utmost respect for our host, but his statement that
“State’s Antony Blinken and DoD’s General Austin were in Kiev over the weekend on a face-saving mission. My guess: they tried to persuade Mr. Zelenskyy to throw in the towel”
is 180 degrees out of phase. Sorry.
While I was not present at the meeting, I’m 200% certain they told Zelensky “you’re doing a fine job, we will help you, keep it up, do NOT make concessions and everything will be fine, it’s just a matter of time.”
JHK’s “…let’s YOU and HIM fight” remains correct.
The US wants to turn Ukraine in “Afghanistan II”. US officials brag about “know a thing or two about fomenting insurrections”.
The last thing the US government wants is a peaceful settlement.
For one thing, the “price” of that settlement rises every day, with every Russian death or casualty or equipment loss.
Just as in high school, when a kid like me did not flirt with the varsity offensive lineman’s girlfriend, so the Ukrainian (puppet of the US, installed in a BLOODY coup, in 2014) had no business harassing Russians and Russian-leaning Ukranians. Russia is much stronger militarily. It is also better run. It is also fed up. I agree with JHK, their goal is to “clean up” Ukraine in general, and I would say, neutralize the neo-Nazi elements in particular.
Oliver Stone produced a documentary, “Ukraine of Fire”, in ….. 2016. There, you can see the seeds of the current situation. It’s well worth watching
I agree with you.
Let’s you and him fight still stands, and they would be happy to throw more countries in the mix, at that.
Disaffected
Germany just signaled that they can’t wait to join Poland on the “nothing to loose” list by announcing that they are sending all their outdated tanks to Ukraine in expectation the the Bedpan Administration will replace them with shiny new all electric models. For Free.
At least this move will solve their problem of having too many Non Aryan guest workers. With no Russian NG or oil to power their industrial factories they can ship all their un-needed workers back home. VW can stop building Volkswagens for ordinary Volk and just build $220,000 Porsche Tesla killers for Saudi princelings.
I believe the death of the west has been a planned suicide for decades and that has been told to us for decades. We stupidly thought it was just a ruse. The West wants World War 3, it completes their plan. The Empire of Chaos wants complete chaos and they will have it goddamn it.
Exactly what is “military aid?” More rusting junk that’s long been sitting around and taking up space to no purpose? More “advisors” and “ambassadors” who have also been rusting and needlessly taking up space? Stacks of paper money that isn’t worth anything? It’s hard to see how this could go on too much longer. You know we’re not going to send anything that’s of any use to us.
I’ve been following the conflict from Telegram. https://t.me/intelslava is the account I follow which is a Russian news aggregator account. Go there and see an endless parade of destroyed and captured NATO equipment. We are not talking about a few items here and there but billions of dollars of destroyed or abandoned equipment. Seriously, mountains of it.
How will the US build replacement smart munitions given that China isn’t playing ball.
Finally, I served the Empire for 8 years and the very last pair of combat boots issued to me had MADE in CHINA embossed on the sole in very large letters. Yeah, I had to march around wearing boots made by the Communists.
All of which tells me that they’re starting a fight that they won’t even engage in, never mind try to win. That means they’re either intentionally sabotaging the US with other goals in mind, or they’re REALLY REALLY stupid, and I can’t believe it’s the latter.
Dis – it’s not.
Well, I once heard it said that sin makes you stupid, and those running the show are sinning big-time against God and humanity.
Dis
Speaking of REALLY, REALLY stupid, the Chinese authorities just announced that the horrible, threatening wave of new COVID cases in their country has now accounted for 77 new deaths. Those 77 deaths are all among those WITH COVID , not FROM COVID, and accompanied by other life threatening factors like advanced age, diabetes, stroke, heart failure etc.
In order to combat the threat posed by the now dominant Omicron COVID variety, China has imposed strict lock-downs on 22-50 million members of their society. If you like to compute probabilities the size of a fly speck, divide the 77 questionable fatalities into the millions imprisoned in their apartments. If that number isn’t small enough for you, use the THREE fatalities WORLDWIDE directly caused by Omnicron during the entire period when the varietal was first identified in South Africa up to the point where it had spread over the world and displaced previous varieties to become the dominant form of COVID.
Conclusion: It is almost impossible to die from Omicron.
Nobody can be that REALLY, REALLY STUPID! Not even their US counterparts in the Bedpan Administration!
“Something’s happening here, but you don’t know what it is, do you, Mr. Jones” Bob Dylan
Could it be the perpetuation of the Pandemic of Fear until the last vestiges of rationality are purged from the human psyche and they march happily into the brave new world of passive worker/consumer bees?

I keep saying the exact same thing to people who insist this will be a huge windfall for the MIC, and that the MIC will crank out legions of new wonder weapons.
At some point, key materials and components will not be physically available regardless of how much money they print.
There may be a short-term sugar high in MIC equities, but Arsenal of Democracy style mass production isn’t happening.
Lots of opinion and thought here at CFN, good place.
My thought is the MIC is making out well at the present time.
Yes, a time will come, might not be too far into the future, where they will lack the goods to make their new super weapons.
However, until the public catches on, the stories will abound about the successes in the works and the need for more and greater funding, with the liability placed on the overburdened taxpayers to pay the bill.
The weapons will be myths, who is there to say different and be heard? This country runs on dishonesty.
It’ll take a mighty strong dope slap for the US citizen-taxpayer to come out of the stupor.
The sooner the better, ‘cause it’s only gonna get worse.
Thanks for the link! Enlightening.
See, that just goes to show you that communist socialist all those terrible form of governments other than our blessed capitalism isn’t so bad after all
It’s simple been engraved from when you were a child that any and every form of government other than this one is unacceptable, but what they don’t tell you is the end result of what capitalism and greed brings in time.
I am praying that Durham succeeds, but I am not at all hopeful. The Democrats will politicize the trials, while Hillary sits safely in the center of her web, no matter how much Poor Little Flies squirm out there in the sticky web goo. The MSM will say little. Woodward and Bernstein will not investigate anything. Are they even still alive???
The law is a spider web. Flies get caught, but Hillary breaks free.
I agree that the big ones will go free; they always do. But if the putrescent edifice they have built comes crashing down, we can reasonably hope that they might become collateral damage.
I suspect you might be right. As for Hillary, I have been enjoying her Shakespearean-grade tragedy since Donald Trump sent her to the showers. It’s like having a female Nixon to kick around . . . without Nixon’s virtues, of course.
I could enjoy it more if I didn’t have the uneasy feeling that she’s not just lamenting her fate from the remote suburbs but may yet reappear, invigorated, like bindweed when you think you’ve eradicated it from the garden.
They are. But it’s absolutely amazing, and disgusting to see how just how far left they are.
Thanks JHK
The western world needs to clear the incompetent out our professional managerial class (PMC). In many cases, the decisions of our PMC are nothing less than treason.
As they used to say in the old westerns: “Give ’em a fair trial, then hang ’em!”
Sadly, treason is no longer a death sentence, and you might even say it is honored. The entire Biden clan is certainly guilty of treason, as are members of Congress from the Demoncrap side. Marxism seems to be their religion of choice. The judicial system is now a collection of leftist or woke judges for the most part, and those not on the left or woke fear the wrath of the leftist mob if they do not toe the line, with the MSM leading the charge. The Louisville Courier-Journal, L.A. Times, Arizona Republic, N.Y.Times, Washington Post, are just a few of the overwhelming leftist/marxist dominated news organizations. Lots of housecleaning to be done and so little time.
Plus, check out this 1972 Book if you can! Triage, by Leonard C. Lewin! The Most Shocking and Prophetic Fiction Experience since 1984!
Here is the blurb off the back cover:
A plan for government-approved murder for social benefit had already been scheduled by the President.
It called for the latest technique in liquidation: controlled wars, psychological self-destruction, and selective termination of the aged, the infirm, the unstable and the unfit.
The first phase began with a unique method of extermination for hard-core drug addicts.
And only God knew where the second phase would end. . . .
==================
I have not read any of the book yet, but already I am thinking Fentanyl and COVID and puberty blockers, OH MY! fentanyl, COVID and puberty blockers – ohhh those poppies are sooo pretty. .
I looked the book up after your last post on it but was shocked a the price. Looks very interesting!
You can get a paperback copy on E-Bay for $50 (obo) with free shipping! Yes, some of these odd titles are hard to come by and therefore demand a hefty premium. Maybe there is a digital copy somewhere online if the copyright has lapsed?
Just keep watching and maybe another cheap copy will show up. I would scan this one if I could, but it is a paperback and hard to scan without tearing the book apart.
That is why I kept it SEKRIT until my copy came in. I have been wanting it for a while, but for $50, there are books I want a whole lot more. One, for $45 I will probably buy this Friday, assuming my client’s check clears the bank. I am behind a ton already in my reading. I just got in The Columbia Anthology of Traditional Chinese Literature and the Columbia Anthology of Modern Chinese Literature. And, I got Edna, the Whip Lady that I have to finish. And White Guilt by Shelby Steele and . . . .
Was watching John Mearsheimer defend his thesis this morning against the assclowns of media, both mainstream and social I was struck with how incredibly stupid these people are. While we diddle in Europe, we lose whatever is left of our standing in Asia. India has told us to fuck off. No big deal. Only 1.2 billion people. I agree that Ukraine is pretty much over. Putin’s objectives in hindsight were clearly to destroy Ukraine militarily while liberating the breakaway republics and creating a land bridge and buffer to Crimea. Mission accomplished, pretty much. What comes next? My guess is Taiwan…and soon.
“I was struck with how incredibly stupid these people are. ”
For another informed take on “stupid”
see Andrei Martyanov’s latest, here:

Unfortunately I think Peak Stupid is not yet behind us.
BTW, looks like Strategic Culture.org is still MIA.
I hate to hear that about Strategic Culture. Always some interesting and provocative reads. Not that it matters but I read somewhere that it was based out of Moscow and would probably be receiving flak.
Might have been on Zero Hedge article about our propaganda versus Putin propaganda. One can hardly believe anything any more. I’ve recently been reading JR Nyquist’s blog and although he’s a dyed in the wool commie hater he certainly brings up some interesting points about the Russia China alliance and especially information on China’s “Unrestricted Warfare” plans.
nyquist’s pov is def at odds with much of what i read here. i’d like to see him debate his points. ultimately, his worldview seems to rely on a much deeper communist conspiracy than most of what cfn / jhk would consider reasonable.
i haven’t read anything from him promoting yuri bezmanov’s assertions about communist infiltration, but i bet nyquist is all the way on board with that.
he seems to dismiss davos / nwo / agenda 2030, etc in favor of the idea that international communism organized all this. but that takes money and resources – until china, the communist totalitarians have not exactly been rich…
https://jrnyquist.blog/2022/04/21/will-russia-go-nuclear/
not a word about ukr corruption, and just as anti russian as victoria nudelman apparently.
The Capitalists funded and do fund Communism. Especially the Bankers.
jag – I just recently read Nyquist’s blog about nuclear Russia. I grew up during the Cuban missile crisis and his pov makes my nuclear bunker mentality stand up and scream.
Ultimately it’s out of our hands. People expound about Americans’ apathetic reaction to current events and I do get the fact that most are very ignorant of our precarious position. That being said hubby and I are off to visit the Black Hills in South Dakota in a few weeks. because there’s not a damn thing I can do to control world events and outcomes. Sometimes the old adage of ignorance is bliss hits the mark and if Vlad decides to pop off a nuke I hear there are lots of missile silos buried in them thar hills!
farmgal – agree that his strategic nuclear thinking is right out of the cold war.
the problem with that thinking is that when it carried into the unipolar post cold war world, we got neocons like wolfowitz, pearle, abrams and kagan writing things like ‘project for a new american century” while the zionists in israell were writing complementary papers like “a clean break” – the object being to have a permanent unipolar world with the banksters at the top – pointing and misusing the us military as its enforcement are.
some of the beautiful results are visible in sweden, where swedes are decamping to norway and denmark to get away from the mena hordes.

“I think there is a resurgence of anti-Semitism because at this point in time Europe has not yet learned how to be multicultural. And I think we are going to be part of the throes of that transformation, which must take place. Europe is not going to be the monolithic societies they once were in the last century. Jews are going to be at the centre of that. It’s a huge transformation for Europe to make. They are now going into a multicultural mode and Jews will be resented because of our leading role. But without that leading role and without that transformation, Europe will not survive.” Barbara Lerner Spectre, founding director of Paideia, the European Institute for Jewish Studies in Sweden
met a (former) swede in florida last week, and once he was sure i wouldn’t condemn him as a racist for what’s being done to his country, hoo boy did he unload.
what can’t go on forever won’t.
Somewhere on The Saker’s site there’s a longish article about how poor the Russian propaganda is, as compared to ours, and how they have effectively lost the propaganda war elsewhere but have won it within their own country. Maybe they didn’t even bother to try very hard. After all, why should they care or invest a lot of energy in what people in the West think of them? They don’t have to convince us of anything, they only have to win the war they’re engaged in.
I’m reminded of a Peanuts comic strip in which Lucy asked Charlie Brown, “Do you think I’m cute, Charlie Brown?” “No, I don’t,” came the rather tactless reply. The two stared blankly at each other for a moment and then turned their gaze elsewhere for a while, before Lucy barked at Charlie Brown, “Well, WHO CARES WHAT YOU THINK?”
It’s not that our propaganda is better quality, it’s almost laughably unbelievable at times, it’s that the US controls the world’s media and internet.
As Goering pointed out, if you repeat a lie often enough it becomes the truth.
Most people are stupid enough to think that if they hear something multiple times a day, from multiple outlets, they are hearing the truth.
“I don’t watch TV! I read the NY Times, the Wash Post, the Guardian and listen to NPR. Are you telling me they are all lying?”
Yes, yes, that is what I am telling you. But of course they can’t believe that.
Strategic Culture is back. When I tried this morning, much to my surprise it was there.
Just checked, and still up:
https://www.strategic-culture.org/
I suspect there may be a special reason why up to now China still hasn’t embarked on a serious military takeover of Taiwan. If I’m not mistaken (correct me if I am), the CCP (read: Callous, Cannibalistic Psychopaths) is very circumspect on placing firearms in the hands of its military for the reason that the bloody den of vipers has earned the hate of hundreds of millions of people both at home and abroad — including significant portions of the military itself — and the vipers know this. So once they seriously decide to go to war with Taiwan, they’ll have to arm their military — except they then run the risk that the military might now see a great opportunity to direct the weapons against the miscreants and finally give them the boot.
I don’t think that will happen. Their military people are too well indoctrinated and preprogrammed to do anything like turn against their overlords. Look at how they are handling any push back against the COVID closures and dictates. If anything they will carry out their orders with exact precision and lead their nation to new heights on the world stage.
If those making up the military still have any human feelings, and if any of them (and I’m sure there are many) have relatives who died because of the CCP’s policies, that will override all the indoctrination and preprogramming they’ve been through.
There are actually some videos over at Youtube telling us that there have recently been a couple very high-ranking military personnel in the PLA (read: People-Lynching Army) who have plotted against the fat ogre on the Chinese throne but have been apprehended. (The videos are in Chinese.) And if there can be a couple there can be more.
Do you have any news on the crash of that Chinese 737 a month ago?
The longer the “investigation” goes on, the more likely I suspect it was pilot suicide?
Were you kicked out of Hong Kong or something?
The threat from DC/London is to lay economic sanctions on China, India, Russia, Iran, Indonesia and any other country that resists Globalist domination i.e. half the world’s population, and more than half of the world’s natural resources.
And the counter-threat from these countries is what?
I think it is to keep on doing business with one another and leave the mental infants in the West crying in their collective crib.
If this is a resource war (as all wars are, sayeth some seer), there is no need for “counter-sanctions.”
The West seems to have kind of sanctioned itself.
“If this is a resource war (as all wars are, sayeth some seer), there is no need for “counter-sanctions.”” ~ Islander
Yes, we’ve sanctioned ourselves. Intentional? An assisted sovereign suicide? I think so, death by a thousand cuts.
Too many essential resources exist elsewhere – people have a hard time understanding that.
Its a simple equation: Raw Materials + Energy Inputs = Finished Goods. Any reduction of raw materials, and/or energy inputs, causes a reduction in finished goods.
As a result, going forward, there will be less stuff. Probably better that way anyhow as long as it’s not essential stuff.
Paraphrasing one of my personal heroes, George Carlin, we already have too much stuff.
Seems to have kind of? I’d say someone wanted to have the West get sanctioned.
I think it’s a resource war with two fronts.
The first is going for more fossil fuel sources. Hence the attacks on Iran and Russia and the attacks on and occupation of Iraq and Syria.
The second is on the people of the West. What we like to call our “standard of living” depends on copious amounts of fossil fuels.
So the sanctions involve cutting the “lifestyles” of the hundreds of millions of people in Europe and the US used to staying warm in the winter, cool in the summer, eating 3 times a day and bebopping around the world for fun.
That all has to go in order to keep the remaining fossil fuels for the use of the 1%.
Exactly right Paula – increase supply, destroy demand.
Jim talks about shocks to the system. Yet the system continues to shock its own people. You thought Covid 19 was a fraud? You thought the vaccines injure and kill people? You thought the mandates were a thing of the past and we could get on with life? You thought that State lawmakers would come to their senses and support allowing people not to get vaccinated, you know because they DO INJURE and KILL PEOPLE?
Well Rhode Island plans to force everyone in their State to either get injected with Tony Fauci’s drugs or get fine $50 per month. Employers who do not force the vaccine mandates would be subject to a $5000 fine, per violation.
https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/uncategorized/rhode-island-lawmakers-propose-doubling-taxes-for-parents-of-unvaccinated-children/
Meanwhile another shock to the system is all the rioting that’s taking place in France, you know because people are waking up that Macron, pulled a Joe Biden and got reelected.
Oh and another little Shock to the System. Israel is adding the Yuan to its currency portfolio because I guess even they realize the Crime Syndicate known as the United States Government, can’t be trusted.
Israel’s a parasite, and like any good parasite, they’re just jumping to a more viable host. The US dollar is almost dead.
I think it will be around for a long time. IMO, It’s far from dead.
How so?
Just from a sheer logistics point of view. Too many people all over the world with vested interests in the dollar and no functional alternative.
Sorry, asking Disaffected how Israel is a parasite.
I think the situation in France is worse than here. I’m not sure they needed to cheat in order to get Macron reelected. The woke is strong in France, and the opposition is loud and angry but – as far as numbers go – less than you might hope.
Probably more about sending a message at this point. TINA!
Rowdy – they probably have the “loud and angry” numbers, but all they have are yellow vests – a perfect target for the police to club them with batons, which is precisely what happens to them.
We are the ONLY country in the world with an armed civilian population – exactly as the Founders intended – not for hunting or personal security, but to collectively oppose a tyrannical government.
Consequently, we are the “last man standing” against tyranny of one’s own government, and a perpetual cockblock for the Globalists.
I don’t see a single politician running on a platform of taking away the unconstitutional and horribly abused “emergency powers” concept.
It was the Republicans who put forward some ninny for the Supreme Court who believes there is an emergency exception to the Bill of Rights.
She’s going to be more trouble than Katanji Brown Jackson, who at least has expressed a belief in limiting some government powers.
Hi Beryl,,,can you link me to the emergency exception statement by “the ninny” please? Thanks.
I didn’t say there was a statement.
I am judging by her actions.
“Barrett concurred with the majority in Illinois Republican Party et al. v. J.B. Pritzker, Governor of Illinois to keep the illegal lockdown in place and allow Democrats to rip up the Constitution under the guise of safety. She hid behind the precedent of Jacobsen v. Massachusetts (1905) in an attempt to avoid culpability for her decision.
“At least at this stage of the pandemic, Jacobson takes off the table any general challenge to [Pritzker’s executive order] based on the Fourteenth Amendment’s protection of liberty,” the majority opinion read in the case.”
https://bigleaguepolitics.com/judge-amy-comey-barrett-recently-approved-democrat-covid-19-lockdown-policies/amp/?__twitter_impression=true
I saw that at Armstrong, and shuddered.
The thing is, even if this does not go through, the diversion of energy and attention to fight this kind of insanity is the most precious asset currently being wasted in the West. Certainly, in Rhode Island—otherwise a very pleasant place!
But they were very covid-woke in Little Rhody, from the get-go.
I see they Fortified the vote in France this weekend. Just like they do in America. Which is why I deregistered to vote. If no one voted. the chosen winner would still win by a landslide.
Yep. 2020 was the official coming out party for this kind of stuff. It will be the “new normal” from here on out.
Someone should send in the troops to liberate the real France. Time to break that country into smaller regions too, Paris is as bad as the US coasts.
Naomi Wolf . . . bless that dope. I knew she would do something good, eventually.
My husband has spent the last few years investing my Mayo Clinic retirement funds and making them grow, but that stock market ride is increasingly absurd. The only thing that was trending up were our shares in Twitter at the close of trade last Friday. He bought in right after Musk posted, “Oh, hi!” The other week. But we are only doing this because I am not yet 59 1/2. Who knows what will be left to cash out by then. Our real scramble has been in acquiring property, gold, and useful items for the long emergency.
About all those food processing plants being attacked (and I’m pretty sure these are attacks of one kind or another): I think it’s either the Russians retaliating against us for swimming in their soup over there on the Eurasian steppe, or its the globalist faction of our own oligarchy making sure those food-shortages they’ve been warning us about actually do happen. What does everybody else who cares to register an evaluation of the matter think?
It’s the latter. I’m allergic to the “blame everything on Russia” mentality.
I agree. I think they’ve got their hands full with the situation in Ukraine and couldn’t be bothered. They know we can be trusted to bring about our own demise without any help from them.
I’ll take door number 2, Monte.
Congratulations! You’ve won….a new car! It’ll be here in about 5 months.
Russia? Pleeese….stop. Didn’t the Covid years tell you anything?
They tried to kill you by injecting a poison but that was too modern so now they’re just going to be old fashioned and starve you.
Right now they’re killing the unwanted homeless types by filling our streets with Fentanyl and the like.
My recommendation is to stop questioning “is this happening?” because deep down you know it is. Right?
Avoid dithering in a crisis as it wastes time.
An avian flu outbreak gave Tyson Foods dominance in both China and Russia’s poultry markets.
Tyson’s #1 competitor, Hudson Foods, was found to have salmonella in its meats by the FDA, and was bankrupted, its assets sold off for pennies.
Tyson Foods of Arkansas also was granted the first large-scale waiver to 500,000 illegal immigrant employees in its chicken plants, by Janet Reno.
Remember the atomic age, with its skulduggery, spies, propaganda, and secrets?
We entered the biowarfare age a while ago, and now it’s taken off.
We happen to be having an avian flu outbreak in the Midwest right now, along with burning facilities, fertilizer halts, and last year’s destruction of millions of tons of food.
*****
(I remember chatting with one in AR. He was so happy to hear his own language! At this time, 1990s, many Mexicans in CA produce houses were telling me of their plans to head East, to North Carolina and Arkansas for instance.)
I heard from someone that the Canadian government can come in and declare that your chicken farm is condemned due to the Avian flu, but that you are not allowed to have a veterinarian test your birds, by law.
Color me surprised.
Color you (both) gullible.
More of teh usual banal disinformation this site thrives on.
From the CFIA:
“If you suspect your birds have avian influenza, contact a veterinarian to determine if further action is needed , or your nearest CFIA Animal Health office. Anyone who finds a sick or dead wild bird is encouraged to contact the Canadian Wildlife Health Cooperative (CWHC).”
https://inspection.canada.ca/animal-health/terrestrial-animals/diseases/reportable/avian-influenza/response-to-detections-of-highly-pathogenic-avian-/eng/1640207916497/1640207916934
One rumor is the ‘germs at Chipotle’ news was retaliation for
their using organic food.
malthuss – do you mean the “NEWS” of the clostridium perfringens outbreak in Ohio was retaliation or that “they” (Big Food? Tysons? Cargills?) deliberately caused it? Lets get clear about your CTs, please.
Mr. Roboto,
Attacks? Assaulting processing plants piecemeal is a very cumbersome and superficial attempt to pervert our food supply. It is a tactical reply to a Strategic question.
To be effective, the perpetrators would only have to ferment war in a major food producing country…a country that supports our agricultural needs…disrupting the supply chain and thus pricing food out of the budget of untold millions…THAT is what they would do if they approached the issue strategically.
Thank God that whomsoever is behind this is….Stoopid.
Or they would do both, and blame the other country for the ensuing shortages.
Or — and try to stay with me here — it’s not actually a thing. Unless you consider a fire at a butcher shop, reports from three years ago, and abandoned buildings catching on fire to be especially alarming.
https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/food-processing-plant/
Snopes? You’re not serious, are you? Snopes is now the arbiter of truth? LOL
Yeah, any and all sources that don’t confirm what you already believe are by definition not credible. This is where we are today — good luck with that. There are still some of us who have the sense to look into dubious claims like “food processing plants all around the country blowing up and burning down”. I don’t see how anyone with functional critical thinking skills can accept that statement as fact out of hand.
I wouldn’t trust anything on Snopes.
Stop looking at their material years ago. Haven’t looked back.
The U.S. Treasury will begin paying about 10% on some of their bonds beginning next week. That’s a shock to the system for sure. How much longer will people hold stocks if they can get 10% and guaranteed principal?
Not long! lol I’ll tell ya that
The big bummer about the iSeries bonds is that one can invest only $10k per year. But point well taken – at 10%+ interest rate why f*** with the stock market.
” at 10%+ interest rate why f*** with the stock market.”
Buckey,
Uhhh, because real inflation is 11+%?
Ely – bonds have not been an investment vehicle for quite some time – they are insurance products.
https://www.treasurydirect.gov/indiv/products/prod_tipsvsibonds.htm
See above link. You can also get the high rate on TIPS and invest any amount.
How does one buy them?
You buy them commission free at TREASURYDIRECT.GOV.
https://www.treasurydirect.gov/indiv/products/prod_tipsvsibonds.htm
**shakes head**
Don’t know why anyone would purposely buy bonds and invest in the swamp that is our American government. I am cashing all my old ones in as fast as they come due. Good luck collecting on these bonds in 15 or 20 years when the government simply ceases to exist or has demonetized the present US Dollar.
I think both the Colonial pipeline shutdown last summer by Russian (possibly induced by Russian intel), and the current Shanghai lockdown by the Chinese, are/were respective actions by both governments as opening moves to war.
Russia and China sense ‘blood in the water’ with “joe biden” and the Obama-clique in power in DC.
I think China may seriously be considering their own operation against Taiwan, and the Shanghai lockdown over covid is only a cover for what really is a stress test of the Chinese population from future US sanctions of the Chinese economy.
The Colonial pipeline shutdown was also a test. Putin is a brilliant man, and a good strategist. The Russians use chess as their game of strategy. In response to US aid to Ukraine and opposition to the special military operation in general, Russia knows it can literally paralyze the US fossil fuel delivery system. Watch for that during the hottest days of the summer.
Maybe this is about oil and market manipulation. I doubt the Shanghai lockdowns are about stopping some ultra lethal covid (and that would be the only reason to do it) so it’s got to be about something else. This from Bloomberg:
“China’s travails with Covid-19 add another source of volatility to an oil market that’s been buffeted by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The war has fanned inflation, and the European Union is discussing measures to restrict oil imports from Russia, matching steps taken by the U.S. and U.K.
Potential demand destruction from China lockdowns “is the number one issue in the market right now,” said Bob Yawger, director of the futures division at Mizuho Securities USA. Demand is down 1.2 million barrels a day since the lockdowns in Shanghai began, and a shutdown of the capital could impact demand even more so, he added.”
I was in town last Friday and filled up at $3.75/gallon. I passed the exact same gas station today and the price was $4.15/gallon. I don’t think Putin is behind this — Saudi Arabia and the international oil companies are a better guess.
China may also be stress-testing their population to see how they will fare under the inevitable US sanctions that will be placed on China after they move on Taiwan.
Credit Pete – missed your same thought. Very astute.
Who sank thr Moskva? Pray it is not NATO *ahem*
(the)
Not to mention the shock of the weaponry and ordinance delivered to Ukraine in the past several months; yes, some of it will be captured by the Russian army as war booty, but the rest … sold on the black market by corrupt army officers and pols to Jihadists, criminal gangs and violent revolutionaries throughout western Europe, the Middle East, and even Mexico and Central America. Imagine the havoc that can be caused by stinger missiles and javelins in the wrong hands.
As far as weapons in the wrong hands – that horse has left the building thanks to Afghanistan.
American generosity in giving away and/or abandoning weaponry is beyond lavish, it’s our best and only export.
NATO played their game of “let’s you and him fight”. And lost. It was UFC champion Putin against the equivalent of Jussie Smolett.
H – horses leave barns, Elvis leaves buildings. Yes, Jussie Smolett or Pee-wee Herman.
I was envisioning the horse Elvis rode in on.
You’ve still got it H – you might have lost your wits, but not your wit.
Also, if just *talking* about raising interest rates just a teeny smidge is sending the financial markets into correction-mode, I shudder to imagine what effect actually doing that might have. I wouldn’t be surprised if the plans to raise those rates get entirely scuttled, but if this turns out to be the case, what consequences would *that* choice have? Probably keeping us stuck at a real inflation rate of 17% and rising, at the very least.
I think raising the interest rate on the government’s debt is damn near impossible at this point. A rising rate regimen would cause a lot of capital to vaporize when the many ‘roll-over’ schemes fail.
Our government is just one of many ‘roll-over’ schemes.
was looking at real estate in south florida last week – rental property. i think that market is as fine tuned as a dime balancing on its edge. everything is priced to perfection, where sale price, interest rates, vacation rental income, costs of all sorts adding to no profit cash flow are tuned such that one disruption and that little vignette falls apart.
i don’t know how many sales are cash, what % of mortgage debt is fixed / variable, but that will give some idea what happens in an interest rising environment.
some friends have told us that rentals in the upper keys have tripled in the last year – there must be plenty of hospitality workers hot bunking or something.
We used to hot bunk on the Fast Attack submarine I served on for about a year. Now I understand they have young ladies serving aboard these Subs — Phew! That gives ‘ Hot Bunking’ a whole new meaning I’ll tell you what.
Just in time for all the sailors to be either gay or lesbian. What a freaking world!
Dis – LOL!
JAG – hard to say on South Florida RE – I was there for 2007-2008.
Inflationary pressure, unlike last time, will support prices somewhat, I think. Replacement value alone, helps. Five dollars may go to $4, but maybe not to $2.50 like last time.
Born & raised there – growing up 50 years ago it was heaven – now you couldn’t drag me back with horse & chain.
it is a good place to get away from the ice and snow – no problem marketing with global cooling (or whatever)…
Someone recently said wherever you’re living this fall, will be where you live the rest of your life – some truth to that, I think. You mentioned rental property, not primary – good – just don’t get caught down there when the lights go out. A lot of glitz & glam, but a thin veneer over a dangerous underbelly down there. As I’m sure you know, long distance management is a bitch too.
Keys hospitality workers have always hot bunked down there since I was a kid in the early ’70’s – a few small trailer parks where they sleep 6 to 8 to a trailer. They cook outside on hibachi grills – local caught fish or yard-raised pollo. However, more than a few hospitality jobs have disappeared.
On a recent (June 2020) weeklong vacation in Duck Key at a high(er)-end resort, Hawks Cay, they no longer have “daily housekeeping”. Just this one resort probably went from 50 housekeepers to 5 – rooms only cleaned upon checkout.
From what I understand, this is recently becoming the new normal – reduced expectations – lower standard of living – paying the same (and now more – overt inflation) for a lesser value/service – hidden inflation.
To be honest though, I’m surprised hoteliers didn’t cut this operating cost many years ago. On vacation, who needs their bed made every day and a mint on their pillow every night? I don’t, and I bet many others would get by just fine without.
If looking to buy potential rental/VRBO/Airbnb type properties in Ft. Lauderdale – sought after neighborhoods are Victoria Park, Las Olas, Colee Hammock, Rio Vista & Sailboat Bend – all eastside, all tucked in and around downtown & the ocean.
ron – thanks very much for the insight. we watched a series called ‘bloodline’ about a cursed family in the upper keys, and the undercurrent of ugly in the show did seem familiar.
we’ve been going to the keys for years, and have run into my share of ‘local color’ scumbags there.
JAG – anytime. A great children’s book for about ages 8-10, Turtle in Paradise by Jennifer Holm, was set in Key West, just after the Depression. Has a lot of interesting historical context & the feel of life in the Keys back then. I read it to my sons when they were about that age, and found that I enjoyed it as much as they did.
Turns out, the author credited Charlotte Neidhauk, a very close family friend, who contributed to some of the historical points n the book. She and her husband Russell were owners, then caretakers of the island Lignumvitae Key, just southwest of Lower Matecumbe on the Gulf side, for many years.
As a kid, I remember Russell telling the story of how he sent Charlotte north ahead of the Labor Day hurricane of 1935, but he stayed & tied himself to the railroad trestle & survived the hurricane.
Russell was also recruited to advise the military during the Bay of Pigs because he knew the island backwaters intimately. There were three communications boats, all identical, in continual motion around the Keys, so the Soviets never knew exactly which boat was the true communications center – a shell game of sorts.

great stories – interested in hiring yourself out as a tourguide? drinks are on me. 😉
I’m getting a sense yhat Jim is trying to avoid being promoted off the mere watch list …
What’s left unstated are the state’s fallback plans. If Russiagate, Ukraine, covid and the election were all high risk plays, what are the follow up plans if they failed?
Are we to presume govt was just going to come clean and beg for leniency once outed? Or rather more likely, enter into a complete divorce from any semblance of constitutional procedure?
Continuity of govt could provide a broad enough rationale to preserve the govt at the expense of the nation. Like HAL, once it reached a state of self awareness, it began to rationalize its own existence as a separate force.
“…enter into a complete divorce from any semblance of constitutional procedure?”
Ha. Looking at how the Red States are organizing things, that’s already well underway.
“Indictments of rogue bureaucrats and political celebrities will conclude the seditious mindfuck that sent the country reeling into mass formation.”
Well, you currently have the big trial of Johnny Depp and some hullabaloo about Bill Murray doing or saying something misogynist. What ever happened Alec Baldwin and his shootout on the Rust set? We need to get to the bottom of all this.
That Johnny Depp trial- something that surprised me is the number of middle aged men who seem otherwise fairly serious who are caught up in this drama.
At first glance it seems like a big “who cares. go away” distraction from matters that “they’d” rather not have us think about, but it relates more to some current issues than you’d think.
The reason for the trial is not just that two narcissists who hate e
These two have been divorced for some time. What led to the continuing drama was an op-ed Ms. Heard wrote for a newspaper, in which she called herself a public figure representing domestic abuse.
Two things stand out to me- one is that Disney Corporation was ready to cancel a huge star for political reasons.
Disney today stands ready to lose money over a political agenda most Americans do not support.
That’s because they are so big that they can expect to make up the losses somewhere else.
Disney is not about a mouse any more.
The other thing that stands out is the paper Amber Heard’s op-ed appeared in- the Washington Post.
Amber has the right “connections”, while Johnny does not.
I think people would be surprised to learn how much of the censorship on Twitter is based on who you know, like a bunch of immature sorority sisters excluding those they don’t like.
I don’t know much about the Amber/Johnny thing, but you’re absolutely right about Disney. They don’t care if it costs them money and if their stocks go down. Like other converged corporations, woke propaganda and support is the thing that they produce now, not whatever product they used to make. They appear to be able to go on indefinitely without actually making anything that anyone wants to buy.
Underpaid Disney animators used to talk about working at “Mouseschwitz” or “Duckau”.
edit: “Who hate each other”.

Coincidentally, the cinematographer shot by Baldwin was producing a documentary…about child trafficking in Ukraine.
Whoa! I had not heard that.
Gee, that’s a whole new angle.
I see a great screenplay/whodunnit/whydunnit here.
Baldwin and Ukraine. Horrible…
proof?
No, Halyna Hutchins wasn’t working on a Hollywood pedophile rings doc
“Halyna Hutchins’ next project was documentary on pedophile rings,” the headline says. Below a date of Oct. 24, the post says: “The director of photography killed by Alec Baldwin was attached to the controversial upcoming documentary about alleged pedophile rings in the entertainment industry.” ”
As this bullshit has already been thoroughly debunked, it’s interesting to see it ‘evolve’ a Ukraine connection…freshens it up for the guullible masses, I guess.
Are you under the impression that using a quote from an unlinked source that says the opposite of what you are asserting somehow proves your point?
Cause that’s bizarre.
Your reading comprehension skills are a little wonky, but I did omit the source – for which I apologize:
https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2021/oct/25/viral-image/no-halyna-hutchins-wasnt-working-hollywood-pedophi/
No comes the shitstorm of “Politifact??? You believe THAT rag??? Hahaha!”
OK, groomer.
Very good commentary, Jim ( but you always write them, so nothing new here). Although I don’t always agree with everything you say, I really appreciate your ultimate optimism in the face of our horrendous issues.
I’m turning 77 in less than two weeks, I’ve been triple vaxed, and I’m having hip replacement surgery three days later, so I don’t know if I’ll be around a lot longer (I hope so). It’s been a year since my first shot and my health hasn’t been affected. I should have had hip surgery several years ago, long before I had any shots, but I had elected to tough it out as long as I could.
No way in hell will I ever, ever get vaxxed. Nobody in my family either.
The vaxx is Russian roulette.
Damn those Russkies!
(Glad to hear it, beantown, most of my family as well.
My best friend of 58 years thinks I’m deranged by Trumpism; I will never explain to him my overwhelming grief.
His 32 y.o. son had a heart attack last week, the grandchildren are sterile now, and soon enough, the person I love most in all the world- bf’s since we were 5! in the ghetto- soon enough, too soon, he and his wife will be lost to me.
All my family is lost, now, may you and yours be blessed and do well, may you live to be 110.)
Beantown, I regret bleeding all over the page, the jury is instructed to ignore that statement.
The batches vary wildly due to production runs, so may you live to be 90 and be hung for rape.
(Rejoinder: “oh, he’s hung, but it ain’t for rape!”, she twittered)
Too late for me, but everyone who gets the shots will not die from it. Since I’ve been ok so far, I’ll be optimistic and say I’ll be ok.
May 6. Log in here asap after May 6 so we know you made it thru OK.
Surgery is for May 9th, and I’ll probably be out of it for a few days after; then I’ll post.
Just a note of support, BtB. I was knocked off balanced two weeks ago, standing next to a mountain bike, and folded my left leg the wrong way, driving my femur into my pelvis.
Like a fool I imagined it would all clear up in a few days; when I finally went into a trustworthy Catholic hospital there was head-shaking and sad smiles.
It’s been nine days now since I lay there listening to a young doctor using a very high-speed power tool and carving off my femur. Had a US-made ball-and-socket inserted and seven thousand skins later off I went.
Recovery from a hip injury, I conclude, will be extremely slow, painful and replete with dangers, large and small. Another sharp blow to the region would displace the still-uncomfortable implant, for example. Blood clots (hey Spike, you still around?) are a major threat after hip replacement, so I’ll be on pricey medication most likely for the next couple of years. Also looking at potential osteoporosis and relevant medications to reinforce my pelvic area. Do not plan on giving up biking or hiking in the hills but really, really do not look forward to such a crippling experience again.
Patience and determination. I see no alternative. I can stand, on crutches, but walking appears to be some weeks away.
I’m waving at you, weakly, from 11 time zones away.
Wow, sorry to hear about that.
You just never know when life is about to slap you upside your head.
Best wishes on the hip, Beaner. I trust that you sat out the marathon this year then, as well. Only 64 1/2 over here, but I doubt 77 is in the cards for me this go ’round. Just as well.
Thank you Dis. I did run in the marathon, but I was disqualified because it seemed like I had the winning time – 45 minutes. Damn, that shortcut was shorter than I thought.
LOL! You either took the smart man’s route or had one helluva souped up wheelchair. Maybe next year!
Good luck with your surgery. I had mine two months ago and it was a piece of cake. Done as outpatient in a surgery center. Arrived at the hospital at 6 a.m. surgery at 7:30 and home by 3:00 (and I live two hours from Atlanta where the surgery was done_.
Best to get it while you can – no guarantee you will be able to next year. I’m 68 so I’m glad I decided to go ahead and have it done. Of course it’s not really a piece of cake but there wasn’t much pain until I began physical therapy. Now I am back to walking a mile (with hills) and finally able to walk up and down stairs normally.
If you can tolerate it I would recommend Celebrex for pain. Much more effective than opiods. Once again best of luck.
Ah, yes, Celebrex.
I had forgotten about that. I had a prescription for it many years ago—I can’t recall what was causing the pain. I think it does work.
Good luck with the hip. I have heard of only one of these operations that went left. Most people are really happy once they decide to go for it. Start loading Vitamin c and zinc etc. at least a week before the surgery. Keep up with it afterwards.
On the opioid front, check out Dr. Mercola’s today on McKinsey in the mix:
https://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2022/04/25/mckinsey-fda-opioids.aspx?
Since reading about McK’s entanglements with the WEF my antennae are super-tuned to McK malfeasance.
They need to be investigated.
Here are the major points listed by Dr. Mercola:
“Story at-a-glance
In 2021, McKinsey & Company, one of the largest consultants to corporations and governments worldwide, settled a lawsuit brought by 47 state attorneys general over its role in the U.S. opioid crisis
A U.S. House investigation reveals McKinsey was advising the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on the safety of opioids, while at the same time advising Purdue how to maximize sales
Jeff Smith, a senior McKinsey consultant, worked on a risk evaluation and mitigation strategy (REMS) for OxyContin while simultaneously advising the FDA about the drug’s safety
McKinsey promoted its FDA connections when pitching services to its pharmaceutical clients. The FDA, meanwhile, claims it had no idea McKinsey was working with Purdue
Purdue knew the dangers of its drug, covered it up, and hired FDA insiders to advise its sales strategy and how to influence the FDA. They also hired Publicis to manage its marketing. Publicis, the world’s largest PR company, funds and partners with “fact checking” organizations to suppress and censor the truth . . .”
Here is a video in which Mercola discuses the worldwide web of control of thought and abuse of power on the internet.

@Islander – If you’re in the mood for some sleaze tv I might suggest the third season of Goliath with Billy Bob Thornton. It does a really good job of covering the opioid scam and the lengths these drug companies will go to. He’s a washed up attorney who manages to pull a few legal stunts to come out on top. It’s sort of like watching a train wreck.
My daughter, who is a nurse, told me years ago about how hospitals were bribed and strong armed to continue the opioid scam. In order to secure good customer service ratings the hospital would send patients home with generous supplies of Oxy and Hydro to keep them happy for months.
I like Billly Bob!
But I don’t have a TV.
There’s different kinds of hip surgery. Did you have a total replacement? If so, having inpatient surgery is remarkable. You must be in great shape. Of course, compared to me you’re just a kid.
Thank you for your well wishes.
@bb – I was in pretty good shape although my hip pain had become so debilitating I was unable to exercise for over a year. It was a total replacement and I was lucky to have one of the top docs in Atlanta. Originally they were going to do a spinal block with just a bit of Propofol but had to resort to general. Seems I had too much arthritis in my spine to allow easy access to the canal. Such is life.
Good luck and best wishes for an excellent outcome and quick, low pain recovery. 🙂

I’ll keep you in my prayers, beantownbill, that you’ll come through the surgery. I hope you’re taking some good supplements to keep your immune system working.
There will be no trials and certainly no convictions of the evil beings that committed the vaccine/virus/shutdown/lockdown scheme.
The reason is that the people in charge of investigations, trials, and convictions are all the same people.
The only outcome that will make sense if to start erecting guillotines in the public square and letting the people have their justice.
Absolutely correct, ATM. Corruption runs so deep AND WIDE in the US Corporation that the only justice people can expect to get is from the barrel of a gun or, in your model, via guillotine. The former is more readily available, while the latter, once erected, is cheaper. People’s choice !!!
I share your cynicism; the vast majority of those swept up in the Woke narrative of history and their virtue signal credit account are now too heavily ego invested to accept the “run on the market”. Not different from the NAZI holdouts at the end of WWII faithfully believing that Hitler held a super weapon that’d gain victory.
I read how the Brits had bugs in the POW camps, where captured kraut submariners listened to Nazi radio on the sly. They discussed among themselves the astonishing “wonder-weapon” that Goebbels was going to unleash upon the enemy, right up to the day that Dolphy ate lead.
I appreciate Jim’s optimism, but it’s absolutely true that they have their people inserted into everything that matters. Torches and pitchforks are pretty much all we have left.
I know you’re speaking metaphorically about torches and pitchforks but many (far far more than the communists know) have far more lethal weapons than those. Its just a matter of what the trigger is going to be. My prediction is seeing your family approach starving from high prices.
One of my patients, from here in the midwestly region, i.e. G_d’s country, was in San Diego last week on business. He got a cup of coffee and some kind of donut at a McDonald’s. It cost some where in the region of $14; the exact same thing here costs him $4. Big Shock. Then, as he was leaving, another shock: he sees a Help Wanted sign out front (of the McDonalds) and it read: Help wanted; $25/hour starting salary plus full benefits and retirement. Hyperinflation is going to be a massive shock to US Corporate denizens.
Wow, $14 for a coffee and pastry out there? I find that hard to believe. At those prices you would be smartest to simply take that $25/hour job at the restaurant and help yourself to all the free meals you can get away with!
Anyone who is still willingly living out in Cali-land needs their head examined. There is no way the Golden State is ever going to make a come back. We should see if Mexico would be willing to buy it back from us.
Nah, we should offer a special bonus of Arizona if they will take it.
There is a radical group of Hispanics that want to take back california, AZ and NM, and even some western parts of Tx (good luck!!!). They even call ‘their’ region Atzland and believe its their right to own it by history and hereditary rights, completely negating the Mexican American war. I know quite a few Hispanics that think the Atzland group is psychotic, but we live in very weird times.
That’s a great idea. As a Californian, I would rather be absorbed by Mexico than remain a part of Clusterfuck Nation. Since everyone hates us, America should be perfectly okay with that. Frankly, with a few exceptions, I find the USA east of the Sierra to be an extremely weird and nauseating place to spend any time.
Politicians created our Social Security System now shown by numerous fact finders to be on its last legs. That epic failure is compounded by another unavoidable financial collapse. Our banker dollar system has been inflated out of almost all of its value. Now the central question becomes how do you deal with the high cost of unproductive “useless eaters” living on Social Security checks?
You know the answer because your living with it right now. You just don’t want to accept that your government has engineered a few helpful measures that just might delay a French like revolution. Eskimo’s were forced to make similar decisions in hard times. They put grandma on an iceberg. We call our government measures WAR, COVID and GLOBALISM, but the result is the same.
“Politicians created our Social Security System now shown by numerous fact finders to be on its last legs.” A person, a family, a business, a city or state can go bankrupt but the Federal Govt can not unless it chooses to. Of course if they are going to cut anything it will be S.S. and Medicare and not handouts to the deadbeat unemployed and illegals at the start of election season.
I think a pretty high proportion of geezers and geezerettes vote . . .
What about the supposed lock box that SS funds were to be kept in. May have worked if not for corruption. Oh well, light’em up.
The canal beside my Central CA home has been dry for two years.
They’ve stolen even our water.
Bingo,
Social Security is one of many impending meteors the government is not choosing to deal with. Why wouldn’t our current Democratic majority be shoring up SS and Medicare that are only 12 and 4 years away from serious ruin. The democrats go on and on about ending fossil fuel dependency, but I don’t see any strides being taken to make green energy viable, as a legitimate substitute.
Chopper is right the elites or whomever you want to call them are playing our last cards. Our side of the World Order lost the game of chess, sometime between allowing China into the WTO, spending trillions on energy wars, and crashing the global economy in 2008 they realized it.
Thanks for another great post Jim. Waking the masses from their spell may cause quite a stir indeed.
I used to work in an acute-care psychiatric unit and saw many patients through the ECT process. It’s very gentle, these days, compared to back in the 20th century. I’ve seen a few dramatic results, lifting people out of near-catatonic depression, but mostly, the result is modest, lifting the mood slightly. People came back for tune-ups quite a lot.
I’m ransacking my imagination to come up with the kind of systemic shock that would properly wake up the pod people.
hunger works reliably, but that won’t be necessary.
i’m remembering many scenes from idocracy with a big tub and a straw.
Tubs of Brawndo, i suppose. They seemed to eat a lot of cookie dough-looking stuff with their fingers from an ice cream pail, too, while watching “Ow! My balls!”
Hard physical work does wonders to remove the many layers of accreted nonsense.
I’m thinking of Of Human Bondage. I think it was the Thorpe Athelney character who took his whole family on a working vacation harvesting some sort of crop.
Now you understand Pol Pot’s animus against the bureaucrats and intelligentsia. Perhaps ol’ Pol knew a thing or two about the mindset of those who did not know how to harvest rice or wipe themselves.
Kill all who wear glasses!
How about an EMP or CME that puts us back into the 19th century for many years, i.e. World Made by Hand. Cosmic ECT, I like it !!!
#1 The shock is going to be their electric bill and how much it costs to fill up at the gas station.
#2 The total due on the screen at the self-check line at Walmart or Whole Foods. A very small thingy of blueberries at Walmart was $5. Eat more fruits and vegetables, folks.
#3 The realization there’s nothing they can do about #1 and #2.
Eventually this is going to even hit people at the high end of income. B/c #4 could be the stock market crash followed quickly by the real estate bubble popping so all their paper “wealth” really is just paper.
Deutsche Bank is sounding the klaxon that the United States will be in a frank recession by the fall. I think we’ve been soaking in it for the last little while; it’s just going to start hitting the upper incomes, soon.
Thanks James.
Great commentary as usual. I learned a few new words today.
In Pacific Grove Ca they are proposing new rainbow crosswalks to add to the already confused drivers.
People already drive 45-50 right in front of the downtown areas as everyone walks around without making any eye contact.
Several have been run over and killed and oh well!
Then you have the window blackout shit heads. You know the type, young Hispanic Honda drivers.
I thought that was illegal, you cant see anyone in the car. No eye contact there.
The wife is retiring, in July, finally and we can retreat to our little hobby farm in Yosemite West.
The “fire insurance” increase is gonna be a fucker.
The neighbor had a 5000$ to 30000$ increase and he is selling and moving to Montana.
He has been there for years and is just retiring also, from Tesla of all places…a few long time neighbors are moving and grumbling about the nonsense.
I am not sure California is,”the place to be” anymore. Jed and Ellie Mae did well in 63’, but those days are long gone.
I will be so glad to be removed form the left leaning crazy radical fear porn of all this nonsense.
The vax vibe is a fucked up deal. When people you have known for years shun you because of your status, not all mind you, but those self righteous dipshits,
I have heard, “one only protects and believes in what they doubt!”
I hope I don’t project any of that, but if you are faxed I feel bad for you. I have a son that got vaxed, for his employment.
Without the rule of law to restrain individuals from their nature, its everyone against everyone else.
This Ukraine shit is real for some of the city
leaders, they have projected the flag colors on City Hall and the Colton Hall here in town, as if we are all “standing with Ukraine” is that how you run a city of elected council members? There is a ton of military conservatives from the Fort Ord area some of them are Trump voters, Let’s go Brandon!
It’s gonna get real real soon, I hope I am wrong and its all a bad view of reality, but then again my senses tell me otherwise.
Carry on Cluster Folksters
Just as Sgt. Kilrain reminded us, “You cannot judge by a race. Anyone who judges by the group is a pea wit. You’ve got to take men one at a time”
Bad behavior can be found in any and in every group but there IS ONE group that can successfully be judged to be not only BAD but EVIL as well and that is the people in elected and appointed government. Sure, you can find the occasional decent, caring elected or appointed public official, but if the entire group was wiped out completely, the losses would be small enough to justify to loss.
The urban black problems are horrible and inexcusable, but they were caused, NOT by a history of slavery, that is total bullshit. ALL peoples and races were subjected to slavery, sometimes even for thousands of years as in the case of the Roman Empire and no one is suing the Vatican for reparations. Perhaps we should. These problems were caused by the government and the social slavery system that was instituted under the Johnson administration after the got JFK out of the way and exists fully enhanced to this day. THAT is a fact.
The White Privilege problem is another fabricated lie, because the whites that actually enjoy these privileges are once again, the scumbags in elected and appointed government positions, although these privileges are not limited by race or skin color. Everyone is let into that club if they are willing to play the game in the arena at the expense of the governed.
All America had better sit down right now and ask itself a life-or-death question. “How stupid or how stupid AND lazy am I?” Enough people had better wake the fuck up and stop being either or both or the garbage bags that are controlling us are going to succeed in projecting their own criminal actions on some of us so that the others of us will take out their vengeance upon the wrong group.
There is only one enemy besides the devil himself, and that is the group that is responsible for 99% of all the murders and atrocities ever committed on this planet – “legally” elected governments of every nation that ever existed.
Stop the madness or the madness will stop YOU!
Yet the statistics tell the tale of the group: Black men commit murder, rape, and armed assault at seven to ten times the White rate.
Yet not all Black individuals do that. Normies will never understand this dichotomy because they don’t understand statistics. Protestant Christians won’t either because their Christianity is radically individualistic. As is almost all Christianity at this point.
It’s cultural! is the usual scream. But Blacks are like this everywhere as Montana said. Yes, it’s cultural because it’s genetic first.
Yes, the battle line of good and evil cuts through every heart. But not equally. Some seem to be born much better or worse. Thus the persistent idea of predestination. And as with individual, just so races: some seem to be naturally more criminally inclined than others.
Fully agree. Psychologist Martha Stout has pointed out that the number of sociopaths per hundred people is way higher among white than among Asian populations. She’s worked at the Harvard Medical School for at least a couple decades, so I shall assume there’s some substance in her claims.
Stout has no knowledge of Asian history, apparently. But she got brownie points for the hit piece!
Yes, I agree too. To be for my own People doesn’t mean I’m a Supremacist. Asians have some real superiorities to us. As we do to them.
What they also have, is mind-bending cruelty.
One Chinese scholar basically admitted as much. China has been outwardly Confucian, emphasizing “jen” or humaneness. But inwardly and actually it has almost always embraced Legalism, a philosophy of Totalitarianism, endorsing cruelty as a way to get things done.
To advance to public life one had to pass the State examinations on the Confucian classics. But once in a position, one had better be able to ignore those principles if one would advance or even keep the position.
I tend to agree with you Jarek on allot of your posts because I’m now nominally Nat. Soc. sympathetic rather then Conservative but you should check out the Thomas Sowell channel on You Tube and find out some more info on Black Americans, it’s not as simple as hard wired genetics set in stone. I am supportive of the separate nation state in North America ,specifically the U.S. south, which I can’t believe Black Marxists and separatists/supremacists and their White allies aren’t screaming for.
Everything is downstream of biology.
A minority thrives when it supports the majority culture. Our Walt B., ever a good man, is a man of his time: when America was 92% white.
The Locust Swarm is here.
We cannot afford such luxuries now, because others will recede to their mean and side with their own.
Whites are the most open and welcoming due to their unique development. We cannot expect others to be us. Gundeep will hire Indians first.
Well of course. As I said, most individual Blacks aren’t felons. But an amazing number are compared to us. And an amazing number are petty criminals compared to us. Putting the two sets together, and it becomes clear why they don’t rise to the level of Civilization very often or very high. They did here and there, mostly under the aegis of Islam.
And the Zulus may have been rising to the level of a Nation on their own power, under the brutal Shaka.
The classic criminal type is a high testosterone, low IQ type. Whites produce more of these than East Asians, and Blacks more than Whites. If one has a high IQ, one can fight one’s lower nature and its desire for immediate gratification. Beyond this, there seems to be a correlation between high IQ and empathy (not always!), with the IQ giving the ability to see the other’s pov.
Of course one must also “feel” what one sees. This doesn’t always happen. Thus we get the other criminal types, the high IQ ones. East Asia produces plenty of those as does the White race.
See the pioneering work of Phillipe Rushton. Briefly, we are between the East Asians and the Blacks, but closer to the East Asians, thankfully.
If Africans are such a big problem, then why did white people bring so many of them here?
Too lazy to pick their own cotton.
Crime stats on Chicago support your comments on black crime. See heyjackass.com . It makes me wonder why conservatives are so opposed to poor black girls and women getting abortions when they accidentally get pregnant.
most slave trading companies were owned or financed by non-whites (as described as the context suits)
Read Thomas Sowell’s Black Rednecks and White Liberals. He’s a genius and an excellent writer to boot. He has no illusions about slavery, crime, education and has the facts to back it up. He’s black and has been a professor at Stanford for decades.
do you have links to facts about Blacks, what % are employed and in what ‘industries”?
I saw a POC gal driving a tesla. where does the money come from?
You are not telling me anything I don’t know Jarek. I grew up in Newark, NJ and we moved to Plainfield a few years before the riots of ’67. The crimes you call out in greater numbers for blacks are probably true and I for one would not challenge them. The evidence I have personally experienced seems to indicate that blacks are far more likely to riot when riled up, while white people pretty much just take it in the shorts and whine. I am not so sure about which I respect more. Of course, you have not addressed the issue of fraud, embezzlement, stealing of pension funds and all of the other big dollar crimes committed by, dare I say, white men?
On an individual basis, violent street crimes are pretty appalling, but if you want to destroy mass quantities of human lives, financial crimes do far more damage. And I seriously doubt that blacks have a lot to do with that.
And then there’s Bill and Hilliary Clinton and Sleepy Joe Biden, now there’s some dangerous crimes that no one is going to do a damn thing about.
You keep thinking small Jark and let the big thinking to those that at can handle it.
Read it again, Walt. I touch on White collar crime. And when Black do rise to that level, they do even more of it than anybody else.
Whites in Detroit used to go out with shovels and bats and beat Black rioters back. What they couldn’t do was fight both the Blacks and the Government. When Blacks took over control of the city, Whites knew they would get no justice and would be punished for defending themselves. Thus they fled.
Whites would crush the antifa as they did in Germany decades ago. But they can’t because the State supports the latter.
Thus your disdain is to some extent, wrong – if it is point at Whites in general. The Churches certainly aren’t helping either since they seem to teach that masculinity is basically flawed.
Janos – amen on Antifa.
As I clearly stated Jarek, I take my fellow humans one at a time and refuse to make blanket statements about the group. The first amendment gives me the right to do that as it gives you the right to do what you do. Good luck with that.
Walt: Fine (not really) for an individual, but fatal for one who rule and those whom he does rule.
If your neighborhood was inundated by hood rats, I think you would put your scruples to the side and get out of there – without having to get to know all of them. This has happened to tens of millions of Whites. The really sad part is those people who would stick to your faulty philosophy to the bitter end, until mugged or their home was worthless.
It’s a good way to live most of the time of course, never forgetting the general racial context. Individual Blacks rise above their racial norm, and deserve to be treated as they are. Of course you have to expect they will side with their poor relations in any conflict, thus taking you back to the norm, thus the importance of always remembering the context.
If and when the shooting starts J-man, the odds are great that no urban blacks are going to make it anywhere near my mountain, but guys like you surely will, and I doubt that it will be to offer assistance of any kind. Under those circumstances shoot first and ask questions later will rule the day and the only whiteness that will matter will be the whites of their eyes.
Your Christianity is wrong and you’re mad at me for showing you that. But you live as far away from Blacks as you can. That’s smart.
You can take them one at a time because there’s none of them to take.
(against Mr. fixit; deleveraging the positive self)
(To whom it may concern)
The tragedy of mankind is that even highly intelligent people like yourself can’t seem to understand the Basic Universal Principle: there’s no positive(good;pleasure) without negative(evil;pain).
I’m quite convinced you can easily accept that the atom is formed by both positive and negative particles (among other), and you can also readily entertain the prospect that messing around with the bond between them is not usually a neatly sound idea.
Nevertheless, you wake up every single day with the fierce determination to separate your negative self from your positive self.
How do you cope with that?
By projecting the negative onto the other, then proceeding to destroy the other and voilà: negative’s gone. Next, with the negative irreparably enmeshed within the self, you will keep on projecting, and off you go, into the never-ending quest for the negative other.
(‘I get “all” the “main” things “right”. Why can’t everybody trip like I do? Why can’t you be like me?’)
(Tip of the hat to Richard Patrick, Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland)
And then there are some, even clever than you are, who deftly use this generalized blindness (meaning, they are using you) to serve their own knavish intents.
All in all, it’s not a big deal: we all live in The Unavoidable; some will be willing and sometimes, able to slow down The Dualistic Engine, some can only crank it up.
There’s no universal peace of mind; only
The Everlasting Dissatisfaction.
(I got it “wrong”, of course; otherwise, how could you have it “right”?)
Can you answer the following:
– What are we building civilization (culture, knowledge, technology, science) for?
Do you have an answer? And if you do, what place does it have for “free will”?
I can answer it for you:
– We build civilization for the greater comfort of the flesh. There you have it: body over mind – that’s “free will” for you.
Civilization: the triumph of the Flesh.
(This is not against or for civilization, just a simple reminder to not bother to chastise everyone else with any “good & evil” puffery, “priestly” flackery.)
You lost me several times, but particularly at the end of your rant with the confused dismissal of good and evil. That kind of rhetoric is a luxury of those who have been safe and comfy throughout their pampered, thoughtless lives.
(“good & evil” as the soul’s protons & electrons)
Let me help you regain focus: imagine you are an atom, made of (among other) protons (conceptual handle for “positive;good”) and electrons (conceptual handle for “negative;evil”); now imagine breaking the bonds between protons (“good”) and electrons (“evil”): happy with the result?
You’re welcome.
an attempt at translating:
sophmoric psyc and metaphysics
just this side of postmodernism, with a dash of humanism.
“there’s no positive(good;pleasure) without negative(evil;pain).”
Absurd. You are way over your skis.
Please slap yourself whenever you have an ice cream.
Thank you for the courteous reminder – hope it will be chocolate.
What is civilization? Some would define it as a society in which people behave and treat each other with civility. That may or may not be a good working definition, but civilization is most definitely NOT material wealth–though material wealth and its attendant conveniences and comforts are a natural outgrowth of civilization.
You are conflating “civilization” with State systems of governance.
Civilized, cultured, and moral behavior are social behaviors. They the “social power” that is inherent in human cultures. Their existence is not dependent on indoor plumbing, air-conditioning, automobiles, airplanes, and the power to obtain strawberries in winter.
Civilization is a condition in which humans reach about as decently high a level of development as can be expected of them, through the influence of culture. They (generally) have good morals, good manners, good ethics, good character, and a fairly high level of intellectual and spiritual development. When the people possess these qualities, you get prosperity: You can’t possibly have prosperity without them. You also get fine workmanship in both the fine arts and the practical arts. But the resulting prosperity is not the civilization. Civilization is what made prosperity possible.
I’m simply saying that positive(pleasure;good;beauty) and negative(pain;evil;ugliness) are here to stay, that we can’t have one without the other and, therefore, ethics is a pastime we can indulge in but in which neither good nor evil will prevail over the other.
Regards.
Have you ever heard the saying “better roll up your britches legs”. Meaning the bullshit is getting deep. This is for kullervo and his civilization rant.

Globalist propaganda.
How can you “learn” something that isn’t actually true?
I don’t know but you have made an art of it and then spewing it back forth.
Just ask any Progressive and they will tell you all sorts of things that they believe but are not true or even based on reality.
You two share a weird sense of self-righteousness that is actually self-delusion.
Again, you post something that looks an awful lot like projection.
Precisely. That is why no one here listens to you.
You are alone. Even the Ghoul appears to have given up making new handles here.

According to the attorney Robert Barnes. There were exemptions passed into law to indemnify the drug companies in case fraud were used in obtaining these EUA’s for the vaccine. He states that Naomi Wolf and her organizations lawyers will be disappointed. If true, I find that an outrage.
“America is going to get its mind right, even as we suffer hardship from years of epic mismanagement of our affairs. What remains is separating out the dupes from the perps.”
A brave and optimistic (hopeful?) statement. Why can I not bring myself to believe in it?
There is a difference between having nazis in your country, even armed ones, even with an occasional terrorist act, and having them run your country, your police and your military.
Russia is going to clean the nazis out of the government and military of Ukraine. That is their plan and I think they are proceeding nicely.
Personally, I don’t think they are trying to get rid of Zelensky, but I have no doubt that his nazi “bodyguards” will happily kill him.
Europe has already lived through terrorism run by US trained and supplied nazis. It was called Operation Gladio and it ran for decades. No doubt it still does, although they did switch to Gladio Two in the 90s, which involved islamic fanatics instead of nazi fanatics.
In any case, we have all lived through the random acts of terrorism, including 9-11, and anthrax, which were labeled as such, and the release of SARS 2, which was not labeled as terrorism although it most certainly was.
I do think that the exploding food factories are not an accident and that Americans will be going on a diet soon.
I also expect the entire Happy Motoring apparatus to be dismantled, massive as it is.
They have also been working on a psy ops campaign to convince Americans that Social Security is “bankrupt”, so that they can cut off the elderly from subsistence.
Like yeast in a barrel we have hit the end of the expansion and the dying off will commence.
By the way, Operation Gladio was exposed by judiciary in Italy and the BBC did an expose, back before they were totally corrupt, and books were written about it.
And nothing happened. There was no accountability, the vast majority of media slurpers remain unaware, and the US moved into Ukraine and carried on openly with a more widespread version.

Are American Patriots, Nazis, Paula?
Why? Why not? Show your work.
It kind of seems to me like you have tendency to want to argue semantics. I don’t see labels as particularly important. A thing is either right or wrong, true or false. That doesn’t change based on some label someone pulled out of their sticker book to slap on it.
It’s true that a great many people respond to labels rather than substance, because they are retarded or have no moral compass, or both. But there’s no use at all in engaging with such people.
As Confucius says, rectification of names is the first step in any reform. People don’t get that they are talking about different things even though using the same name or the same thing even though using different names. In other words, I disagree with you completely. It is utterly important to define one’s terms. Well defined words lead to well put questions. And a well framed question often makes the correct answer obvious – to people of sufficient intelligence and good will and of the same polity. Obviously aliens who want your stuff are never going to have good will.
China is simply waiting until NATO and the Russian Federation are done mauling each other.
All of the blather regarding a new found “Friendship” between China and the R.F. is a smoke screen/deliberate lie told by China and believed by R.F., Chinas’ goal is and always has been the “liberation” of Siberia and the untold resource wealth therein.
Soon, the PRC will take Siberia and Russia won’t be able to do anything about it. Probably simultaneously with “liberating” Formosa. Who, on here, remembers Formosa? Names change, people don’t.
Let’s hope the mushrooms don’t sprout before the dust settles.
They are already illegally logging Siberia. Putin does nothing and a lot of Russians are pissed off about that.
Paula-
I’m not sure Putin can do a lot.
The current Russian Army is about 10% the size of the peak Soviet juggernaut.
Sure they could even current day Russia could give China a serious black eye if they invaded Russia.
Projecting power in your own country is far easier than projecting power outside of it into another country.
Lots of content in this week’s Cluster.
Regarding Russia and Ukraine:
I often read the Ukraine Updates from the ISW. From their perspective, things certainly aren’t going according the plan for Putin. Even accounting for their potential bias, my understanding is that the Russian military is currently unequipped to do anything more than what they have already been doing. Are they capable of mounting the big offensive push we’ve been hearing about? Or will they just keep up the disjointed probes feeding more of their equipment and soldiers into the wood chipper? JHK, I’m curious what publications/accounts of Russia’s war in Ukraine do you base your information on? I’d like to check out another perspective. Cheers.
We shall see if your prognostications re: the success of the R.F. comes to light on May 9th.
I was there in Mockba May 9th 2000 -45th anniversary of the end of WWII. They brought out the Hammer and Sickle Flags again, the Highway from Sheremetyevo to Kremlin was lined with ’em..kinda rattled me, big event.
words by Al Stewart -“Roads to Moscow”,
“Oceans of mud filled the roads, gluing the tracks of their tanks to the ground while the sky filled with snow.”
That’s an epic song!
General Mud is a bitch for offensive forces. Things have been drying out a bit. Perhaps that will provide some traction for the Russian forces.
Yes, we’ll see what is held up as a victory prize for May 9th. Will it be the extermination of the resistance in Mariupol’s Avolstal plant? I won’t be surprised to see chemical weapons used to achieve that goal. If Russia uses nukes to drive Ukrainian forces from the Donbas, would that count as a victory?
Russia doesn’t have chemical weapons.
We also already know what the plan is.
They are going to surround the plant and wait for them to surrender.
The factory is 2 square miles and has 8 underground levels.
Fantasies about flooding the place are obviously untenable.
I’ve got a feeling the soldiers manning the cordon will be terrorized by the ones they’ve besieged. Especially if the besieged keep getting resupplied. They wanted ammunition, not food which they likely have plenty of stored away in those tunnels. Perhaps the Russian’s will use chlorine gas?
https://www.pravda.com.ua/rus/news/2022/04/22/7341310/
I don’t read Russian, sorry, but I don’t see how the nazis trapped in the basements will be able to be resupplied, or how they will be able to terrorize the soldiers outside.
And how would they be able to use chlorine gas on a 2 mile square, 8 levels deep structure?
There is a button for english at the top. A couple days ago, the besieged received an ammo supply drop by helicopter. That can’t happen if you intend to lay siege to an area. You are right, it’s a vast area. During WWI, chlorine gas was used against trench fortifications on a large scale. We’ll see what happens at the azovstal plant.
Interesting. I thought that Pravda was a Russian paper, but this is Ukie propaganda.
I highly doubt that any helicopter dropped supplies to the steel factory.
Remember that the Ukies lost 8 helicopters and a boat trying to rescue some bigwigs at the port. But we’re supposed to believe that they can fly over the factory and drop ammo and the men holed up underground just come up and pick it up, like some sort of flying Grubhub?
Sorry, that is not believable.
I don’t see how a supply drop is untenable. Such a vast area, not far from the Ukrainian lines.
About that rescue: Was it 8 Mi-8 helicopters and a boat or just 1 Mi-8 helicopter and a boat on that failed bigwig rescue? TASS reports have included 1 and 2 downed helicopters in that rescue attempt. And of course they are 100% unbiased.
About white nationalism: Do you think there are any active white nationalists in the Russian leadership/army? You bet there is. The denazification of Ukraine as a reason for war doesn’t hold water, it is propaganda.
White nationalism is not what they are talking about.
They are talking about nazis outlawing the Russian language, tearing down statues of Soviet heroes and putting up Banderist statues, terrorizing the children, teaching nazism in the schools and killing people of Russian heritage.
Getthefuckouttahere with your white nationalist bullshit. This has nothing to do with the usual American bs about Bad White Nationalists who wear MAGA hats and make the shitlibs swoon.
There were multiple attempts by helicopter and one by sea.
And no, dropping supplies by helicopter is not feasible, especially in the middle of Russian held territory.
Paula doesn’t believe Whites have the right to have their own nations. Blacks, Browns, and Yellows do have this right. Most liberals believe some variant of this of this injustice.
I thought Donbass was full of Russian citizens, the ones Ukraine has been killing for 8 years. I don’t think Putin would nuke his own people. Besides NATO, I thought saving the Eastern Ukrainian Russian population was one of the main reasons for the war.
Two broken Tigers, on fire in the night.
Are you talking about the neoliberal Kagan Institute?
It is a waste of time or braincells to read that, imo.
Why would the Kagans know what Putin’s plans are? That is beyond absurd.
What big offensive? The Kagan’s Wet Dream Offensive?
All we know about Putin’s plans is what he told us. To stop the war on the people of Donbass, to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine, and to get it in writing that Ukraine will never join NATO.
Why invent “plans” and “offensives” and goals, and then announce that they are not being implemented?
That is bizarre.
It is pretty difficult to use search engines to look for information other than the Official Propaganda, so this report is the most recent I could find.

Based on that, I would take anything they say with a huge grain of salt.

One woman had started an alpaca emotional support business during the pandemic and she brought some of her alpacas to cheer Johnny up. What a babe. Good women support Johnny Depp.
Sometimes alpacas spit and you may be within range.
I stopped paying any attention to the ISW when they went 150% in on the covid narrative.
If you want decent military analysis, I would go to The Saker’s site and check out Nightvision and Andrei Martyanov’s info.
Then check out Alexander Mercouris.
I haven’t listened to his newest (one hour ago) but it sounds relevant:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSogX3qyidk
Thanks, Islander. Good suggestions and I checked YT earlier, but there was no new Mercouris.
Thanks for the link.
Thanks. I’ll check those out.
Mercouris is good, but I prefer listening to his partner on the Duran, Alex Christoforou.
Yeah, Alex Christoforou is making 2 to 3 broadcasts per day. I believe right now he is in Cypress. Always interesting to view.
Is he up a tree (for better 5G reception perhaps) or in Cyprus?
Wow, that was depressing. I hope he’s wrong and just thinking like an American “Kill them all and let God sort them out”.
My grandfather was badly injured at the Battle of the Somme. The king just kept sending cannon fodder to be mowed down. They did not care at all about the misery they were causing to their subjects.
And now they are sending poorly trained conscripts to be mowed down in Ukraine. There is no chance they will win, so they are just there to put more money in the pockets of the war profiteers.
I won’t blame it all on the US. I’ll bet the UK has its grubby hands in that also.
Some folks at MoA think that the Russians are not going to go to Donbass yet. They think that they should take Odessa first.
There are something like 60,000 soldiers in the Donbass. It would be tragic for them all to be killed, even if they are Schrodinger’s troops, simultaneously ”battle hardened” and not responsible for the last 8 years of terror rained down on the people of Donbass. At least according to US propaganda. There is no war on the Donbass citizens AND there are 60,000 battle hardened troops on their border.
Plus Putin talked about the people burned alive in Odessa in his very first speech announcing the special operation.
How can they bring the murderers to justice without taking Odessa?
Odessa is a pro-Russian city, it deserves to be liberated.
” It would be tragic for them all to be killed”
they can surrender, and be treated fairly as PoWS. If their “friends” allow to them to and don’t shoot them in the back instead.
Russia did not create this sh– show.
It just pulled back the curtain.
I agree that Russia did not create this. I blame it on the US and UK.
But yeah, every unit has azozs in it, ready to shoot any soldier who tries to surrender.
They are in a very tough place. That is why I feel sorry for them and that is why I think Russia should take Odessa before they go after those Ukie soldiers in Donbass.

1788. China to Make Electric Tumbrils
We—I, and my spousal unit, Violeta—pulled into DC after a conventionally miserable flight from Guadalajara in seats apparently designed for dwarves with our feet almost in our pockets and Delta trying to sell us beer at seven dollars a can. I didn’t get it. If you can sell watery brew at seven balloonishly inflatinggreenbacks a can, why do you need an airline?
The occasion was a visit to a woman with whom I immediately became involved, though with Violeta’s permission. She weighs seven and a half pounds and has a smile that would make a dead man weep. This may have little geopolitical importance, though.
Anyway, the proud father celebrated having produced, or coproduced, a baby who probably deserves a world run by psychiatrically less fascinating adults, by taking about a dozen of us to Fogo da Something, a Brazilian restaurant on Pennsylvania across from the Trump Hotel. This costs $64 a head for all the meat and salad bar you could eat, desserts and drinks extra, so with tip you can crawl out, stuffed and economically depleted, for about $90. Salad bar good, desserts swell, meat tasteless. You can do better for a sixth the price at La Carreta, down the lake from us in Mexico.
The meal was a pre-guillotine experience, especially the restaurant. Or I hope so. The waiter says, “Hi! I’m Bruce and I am going to be your waitperson and do everything I can to make sure you have a wonderful, wonderful dining experience. We are orgasmically delighted to see you and….” When a waiter oozes like that, sure, he’s looking for tips, but I wonder, tips of what?
In Mexico waiters are courteous but you can tell they don’t want to sit in your lap or have a long-term relationship. In New York a waiter says, “What’ll it be?” and you say, “Eggs over medium, bacon on the side, cuppa mud,” and he says, “You got it.” Human. It gets the job done. You couldn’t write a Proust novel about it.
Anyway, the place was big, I’d guess between seventy-five and a hundred people doing the squat-and-gobble, likely disgorging on average a C-note per. This is DC, with the five richest counties in America, Montgomery, Loudoun, Fairfax, that kind of place, a city where the graft never stops, recession proof, where bribes run in freshets. Out there in Flyover Land, in Appalachia and the Rust Belt and the rural Deep South, families think going to Mickey D’s is a treat. And the swarming derelicts in the warm states increase in their medieval Ly diseased hordes.
Guillotine stocks. It’s the way to invest.
Washington is a rerun. In Paris in 1788 , creeping toward the Terror, the aristocracy was, like Washington’s upper crust, wealthy and schooled and cultured and cared not a withered farthing about the peasantry, as neither does Washington. Marie Antoinette didn’t really say, “Let them eat cake,” but they all thought it, and Hillary Antoinette, with her contempt for the Basket of Deplorables, expresses the same sentiment. There will be a price. Maybe anyway.
I spent two weeks in this diseased city wondering, “What are they thinking? The country is disintegrating internally, inflation growing like kudzu on a Georgia roadcut, living standards falling, the schools going to hell, and Washington is worried about…the Ukraine? Things crumble, resources are desperately needed domestically, and Washington buys the B-21, which Aviation Week prices at $640 million a copy of which, by design, you have probably never heard.”
It’s nuts. The racial situation is an intensifying disaster with continent-wide rioting, burning cities, ghetto kids graduating illiterate, desperate white people offing themselves with opioids, the rabble storming the Bastille—wait, this time I think it was the Capitol–but we need to raise prices by tariffs on China and Russia.
One night we went to eat with old friends from an earlier life. Like so many in DC, they were ninety-ninth percentile in intelligence, well educated, and decent people. We pondered, “Thai? Chinese? There’s a new Turkish place that’s supposed to be good.” Again, good people, though living in million-dollar houses, but…but…for much of the country Turkish, in some spiffy joint on Cap Hill or upper Connecticut Ave, would be the adventure of a lifetime. Washington has an ampleness of evil people, the Bidens, Blinkens, Victoria Newlands, Trump at one remove, but so many are just out of touch. There’s a new Turkish place in the city, and when was the last time they dined in Flint?
The media, a salt mine in which I once labored, are an embarrassment, utterly partisan, ranting and howling about Russia. OK, in war it is usual to cut the public off from information and to keep them stirred up with accounts of rape, human shield, “genocide,” chemical war, massacres, torture, a rule of television being to get a woman to cry and fill the frame. In Vietnam the media ran all over the country and actually reported what was happening, which eventually ended the war. This error is not being repeated.
{what bothers me is the apparent lack of curiosity, of doubt of official sources. Contrary to belief in some quarters, reporters are not given orders to adopt a particular point of view, though they know better than to contradict the publication’s line. No scribbler at the Washington Post will discuss racial differences in intelligence. But they areherd animals.
Violeta, whose cynicism toward government—anybody’s government—would peel paint from a wall, watched a video clip purportedly of a Russian tank crushing a car occupied by Ukrainians. She noticed after research that the Russian tank was black without markings, like Ukrainian tanks, instead of green with markings, like all other Russian tanks. OK, maybe it was an undercover Russian tank. She also noticed in some of the Russian-destruction video, street signs are blurred out. Uh…, why dat? Anyone want to guess?
Why do reporters not pay attention? First, again, they are creatures of the pack. They live in the Beltway Terrarium, talk to each other, read each other, and so know they are right. Don’t their colleagues all say so? Second, they are painfully ignorant of matters military, knowing chiefly the bureaucracies involved in policy, contracting, and so on. This includes those for the WaPo, whom I knew—Gerge Wilson, Molly Moore, etc. As a comparison with the coverage of the Washington media, here is a piece by Scott Ritter, a former American intelligence officer stationed in, among other places, Moscow. It is long but contains the kind of knowledge that not one of the Beltways reporters, squalling, screeching, preening and yodeling has an earthworm’s grasp.
Why did Russia attack? Anyone who can read a map can see that since 1991 the US has been trying, with considerable success, to encircle Russia militarily. Russia has said over and over that it was not going to have American missiles on its border in the Ukraine any more than America would allow Chinese missiles in Tijuana. I encountered no one in DC who had even heard of this, though it has been going on for years. This is journalism?
Yes.
All things end, except those that don’t. On a cold rainy predawn morning we caught an Uber to Reagan National, returning to a country that has just left the Third World to one energetically returning to it. A stewardess aboard read the boilerplate about have a wonderful flight. She didn’t explain just how that laudable goal might be achieved. Remember, cometh the guillotine. Kachunk. Kachunk. Kachun.
I apologize for the text rather than a link…I get Fred on my email as I subscribe to Fred on Everything. I do not know how to detach the article from my Emai…I have yet to learn how to code.
I personally don’t mind long posts or long copy and pastes.

Adoro este artigo! Obrigado! Também gostaria de lhe recomendar um jogo divertido que se chama Aviador https://aviators.com.br/. A jogabilidade é super simples!

I thought Brazilians spoke Portuguese.
Yeah, that is true, but they both read the same to me.
Thank you for translation!
Yeah, thanks Cowbell – we only have so many minutes on the planet, and I cannot get that minute back. Thanks.
We had some Portugese guys here a few years ago to put in a new driveway. The foreman didn’t speak English, but my wife was able to communicate with him pretty good with her Spanish. The two languages must be somewhat compatible, like Ukrainian and Russian. Incidentally, I recently learned that Zelensky’s first language is Russian, as is entire staff and cabinet.
Funny!

If Africans are such a big problem, then why did White people bring so many of them here?’.
Uh, its not ‘if’, Blacks ARE a huge problem. worldwide.
And as a group we do not bring them ‘here’, they come here thanks to a certain privileged group.
Ask Jarek about 1965 and who was above LBJ.
And find who was behind the slave trade. Ask the guy who wrote a book about it. If I recall he is with NOI. Farrakhan’s clan.
and, more of them have moved ‘here’ USA since ’65 then were here when Abe freed them [and wanted then out out out].
also in 1970 there were like 12 million USA blacks. now like 43 million.
got it, boy?
Are their numbers increasing because they breed like bunnies? As opposed to the Whites that are on perpetual birth control and undergoing multiple abortions?
During formal slavery, the Africans value was off the charts?
Ive seen some advertisements for blk people during slavery, and every blk person had 3 or 4 different skills; and they were often bilingual.
So I gotta suspect that the “African problem” is really a compensation problem?
In other words, black people are a good deal as long as you don’t hafta compensate them for their labor, and are free to abuse and mistreat them?
Am I right?
Tehre are many very trenchant observations on the actual practice of slavery and the state and skills of slaves in the antebellum South in Frederick Law Olmstead’s The Cotton Kingdom.
It seems to me like the more “industrialized” the plantation’s production, the higher skilled were the slaves.
Eg., the sugar plantations were quite a complicated operatoin and the sugaring required high skills.
Many slaves had skills.
Olmstead’s descriptions of whites are equallyl enlightening.
The South was ***highly*** underdeveloped. And so were the people. All of them, no matter that one group, slave owenrs, was “putting on the dog.” Most of the latter were hopeless losers. Many of them were absentee landlords and speculators (those in the cotton business in Mississippi) and ultimately indebted to banks, and some could see that the slave economy had no future but didn’t know how to get out of it. To understand why, read the book.
Olmstead was incredible IMHO. Riding his horse all over, fo rmiles and miles on roadless areas, on tracks according to obsucre directions provided by people whose Enlish was often semi-incomprehensible, often sleeping rough because could not find a place to stay overnight, etc. The reality of the antebellum South.
Brilliant powers of observation. Always leavening the latter with stats collected by the USA for each county in the USA. I was very surprised at the advanced state of data gathering in the early 1850s.
I bet there isin’t a single reader of this blog or any blog who could begin to lulndertake what Olmstead did when he undertook this survey for the New York Times in I think 1852.
Should be read by every American.
Unfortunately the woke have gone after this work because Olmstead reproduced the actual way that people, including slaves, spoke, and the actual words they used, to the best of his ability.
The South was ***highly*** underdeveloped.
a feudal system with white ‘servants’ at the bottom. shelf life after getting to USA, 6 years.
I have that book! Olmsted is a local hero in these parts, having lived in town for several years in his youth. There are still Olmsted descendants around here, I’ve known a few.
Spoken like a true Yankee. If only the White Southerners had been deported or executed after the War. With an all Black population, the South would have soared ahead of the rest of America.

Black labor is such a good deal that the only way you can get anyone to employ them at all is through government-mandated affirmative action.
And one does wonder why the descendants of those highly skilled bi-lingual blacks have no skills at all and cannot speak (let alone read) even one language fluently.
US black females abortion numbers are huge.
They breed on the white n yellow dime.
Look at the increase in their numbers and track it against murders, like in chicongo.
taxpayers fund PP.
PP is short for…..what?
Do we really need to be broad-brushing whole groups of people, here, and slinging around insulting terms? That plays straight into the hands of the tapeworm class that populates The Swamp.
“And in Africa they put billboards up to try get the local men there to stop raping babies.”
They rape babies because they believe it cures AIDs, just like they think by eating some soup made from an albino will give them magic powers/protection.
……………………………………….. well, what do you think?
“They rape babies because they believe it cures AIDs, just like they think by eating some soup made from an albino will give them magic powers/protection.”
Malthuss,
…Couldn’t hurt….
and there are 1000s or 10s of 1000s of these type crimes,
In Houston a few years back, a black women was leaving a ghetto supermarket with an infant strapped in a car seat.
She ran the car into a pole, and died instantly.
Before the police arrived, the negroes stole all her groceries, while ignoring the screaming child.
/so much for black lives mattering, more like splattering.
and so much for black solidarity.
And since all people are the same, why should Whites care if they are swamped by other races? The refusal to broad brush dooms the nations of the West. The refusal to value our own is the very essence of Liberalism. Google Sir Arthur Keith’s Law of Amity and Enmity.
You’ll never get a house painted or maintain a nation with a little artist brush.
I believe in the essential value of in-group preference. I don’t think the Somalis who have flooded into a neighboring town assimilate well with German Lutherans, although I know and like some individual immigrants. It’s been almost 30 years, and, other than putting up a Mosque, they haven’t really joined the community. Very different from the Hmong refugees in that respect.
And I know about black crime and rioting. I come from the Thurston Woods neighborhood in Milwaukee, and I remember being caught in the middle of a demonstration in 1968, mom and I in the Corvair, black hands and faces pressing against the glass. My older sisters in the white minority at Custer High used to have their crotches grabbed in the hallways by students from the majority group.
We just moved away, and that solved a lot of problems.
I still don’t want to use a broad brush, though, because much of the problem clearly has to do with class and with Great Society policies.
Besides, the poor white tweakers around here cause much the same trouble, and that includes prostituting their own minor children. I don’t see much value in being too deterministic when talking about race. Give me the 2-hair brush.
Well considerations as an individual are one thing, but what’s good for society is another. Moving is what an individual or family can do. What about society? Thus tens of millions of Whites have had to flee their homes, neighborhoods, cities, and states – and they don’t get a dime’s worth of sympathy from the media – which is the State responding to us.
The individualistic ethos is fatal to a nation or culture, just by definition.
I’m on Jefferson’s side, the greatest American social thinker. You are not.
its become apocryphal that blacks in south africa miss the orderly days of apartheid. as they are said to reflect “at least we could count on our children surviving the way it was”
the country is falling apart, and it is and indictment that no individualistic assessment can excuse.
also in 1970 there were like 12 million USA blacks. now like 43 million.
************
OK, but I repeat myself;
who benefits from the production of more black people?
It is said that black people are the only thing of value that black people can produce with out the help of white people?
am I right?
I never valued them. did u?
Did you know 300,000 Blacks have been murdered in USA in last 40 years, by their own kind.
I can beat that number millions of blacks have been murdered by their own mothers some call it aborted.
It must be very mind-bending for you, benr – how do you reconcile this rabid anti-abortion position with your underlying racism?
@ Redneck Liberal:
Just because one recognizes that blacks are an immense problem in the US, it does not necessarily follow that one must believe it’s a good idea to murder black babies.
Possibly there are other approaches to minimizing blacks’ damage to society.
Popcorn out to hear the Rednut explain why a statement of fact is racist.
The statement could be applied to any group and be accurate given the millions of abortions carried out since the procedure was developed.
Shoot for the stars, Rednut.
Munch, munch.
You have a terrible misunderstanding of what racism actually is.
Try doing some research on what real racism is and get back to us.
Meanwhile again look in the mirror and simply say I redneck liberal am the real racist.
To the extent we need farm workers, the Mexicans are much better. Blacks good at something? Sports. Entertainment – if you like that kind of thing. But often good voices if not good music anymore.
“It is said that black people are the only thing of value that black people can produce with out the help of white people?:
Thwack,
Please provide an equation that proves your premise. Show your work.
Hey! Belay that bit.
Thwack’s a subtle one.
Gods, why do white peepo need their humor *explained*?
LOL. Is it really that we güeros need it explained, or have we just been cussed up and down to the point at which such humor is proscribed and we exhibit some kind of trauma response?
“Possibly there are other approaches to minimizing blacks’ damage to society.”
How are fathers born?
We didn’t bring that many here. Out of the 12 million Africans transported west 1515-1830, only about 330,000 ended up in what is now the United States. The vast majority of West Africans landed in Brazil and the West Indies. Incidentally, the Holier than Thou Swedes controlled one of the largest slave trading ports on the African coast for several centuries.
No, the biggest Slavers were the Arabs from the Persian Gulf, Middle East and NAfrica, who ran a Slave Trade in East Africa out of the island of Zanzibar from the 4th century AD until 1890. Its estimated 40-50 million Africans were captured in that 1400 year period … and was finally shut down by the British Navy in 1895.
The British Navy doesn’t seem to be getting the credit it deserves in this matter, IMHO.
So you went from 330,000 to 43 million. And some call that genocide.
I call that afro logic.
I think you mean the Dutch not the swedes.
Nope. Swedes were shipping slaves out of the Gold Coast. The Dutch did indeed take over the operations after some decades, tho. Belgians were involved, too. Some people think the big Slavers were the Portugese, and they were; but many other European countries got in on the act as well. Chinese and Philippinos crewed on Spanish slave ships from the beginning. On Dutch shipping you’d find Germans, Russians, Poles, Frenchmen (and the French had their own slave catching operation). And of course the English needed African labor for their plantations in Jamaica and Virginia. And while this was going on Arab Corsairs from North Africa were cruising the coasts of Iberia, England, Ireland and Holland — all the way to Scandanavia, foraging inland for white slaves, and capturing them by the thousands and thousands.
I dunno. Sounds imaginary to me.
They were white and they were slaves.
“This remarkable, pioneering history book traces the suppressed record of the slave trade in Whites, hundreds of thousands of whom were kidnapped, chained, whipped and worked to death in colonial America and industrial Britain. Michael A. Hoffman makes a compelling case for the fact that millions of American whites alive today are also descendants of slaves, the white slaves.”
https://revisionisthistorystore.blogspot.com/2010/03/michael-hoffmans-online-revisionist.html?m=1
Imaginary needs moderation.
I am of Viking descent, and I know what a bloody bunch my ancestors were, but it was give and take. Look up the account of the Turkish slave raid at Grindavik, Iceland. It was brutal, too.
“There is something about being detached from reality that makes it hard to go about your everyday business.”
One would think that there is something about being detached from reality that would make it hard to be a President. But our current times prove this is not the case. In fact, the less tethered to reality one is, the better President he or she will be.
And not just for Presidents. There has been a war against, ‘Those REALITY-BASED People’ for a long time now by ‘Those-Who-Create-Their-Own-Reality’. Reality – we have come to learn – is racist and sexist and terr-roar-ist and bad-taste-ist and Alt-right-ist and anti-The-Science!-ist and not damn near Woke enough for today’s enlightened days of the New Dark Ages. In short, reality HAD TO GO.
“The dirty secret is that nobody will be going ‘green’ the way fantasists propose. Rather, we’ll be going medieval.”
More likely, the World will be going FADE TO BLACK. Or, it will Go Green as in looking pretty sick. The Not-So-Great Reset Color of Nausea.
“The Left’s war on America’s psyche is over.”
They will do what all losers of wars do: Declare victory, and then slink away. Those few that remain On The Left will gather in the park while hosting a CNN Watch Party of all of its remaining 17 viewers. They will worship their masks as religious icons and fawn over 8 by 10 glossies of Mister Lemon and Doctor ‘I AM SCIENCE, DAMMIT!’ in between times of trying to figure out what sex they want to be that day and finding new ways of blaming White People for all the ills of the World since the dawn of humankind. So much to do and so little time to do it.
How iconic that one day soon… The Left won’t have anyone… left.
No one left on The Left.
At least, we can hope.

Ha! See, I done tole ’em!
Quick. What black minds are, is quick.
He wasn’t generating enough false positives to prop up the scam.
There was an episode like this in Illinois. It vanished from the news pretty quickly.

What the hell kind of war is this? Diplomats and Prime Ministers from all over Europe are flying in and out of Ukraine with impunity, paying homage to the Hero of the Hour and Saviour of Democracy, Zelensky. Austin and Blinken were in Kiev yesterday, bearing gifts (more cash and weapons. Weapons for who?) Except for the Azov Brigade surrounded in Mariupol, the whole thing seems staged, a showbiz production designed to keep the Proles focused. One is reminded of the battles against east Asia, west Asia and Eur Asia in Orwell’s novel 1984.
Indeed, if it was such a war torn country wouldn’t it be more off limits to foreign diplomatic travel? And who is the one telling Biden that he cannot visit the country? He probably feels pretty bad sitting at home just eating his ice cream while seeing everyone else get to visit the Ukraine. Maybe they don’t want him to go there because he would automatically start working too many backroom business deals? Hunter could travel with his there as his attaché.
The West will keep sending money and weapons in, and Russia will constantly destroy what has recently been sent. This is the only way the game can be played.
I’m reading A. Scott Berg’s Woodrow Wilson bio. The part where Wilson has a debilitating stroke during the last year in his second term — leaving a power vacuum in DC with serious negative repercussions for the country and the world — reminds me of the situation we find ourselves in currently with Biden.

–Evil man.
They don’t do wars like they used to anymore, brh. Not the least of which, nobody’s actually used the word “war” yet, at least officially. Of course the US kind of rendered that word meaningless in the last half of the 20th century, with nary an official Declaration of War in any of our foreign adventures. I think the pols got wise and figured out if they said “war,” people would get upset. But if they used nice words like “liberation,” “special operation,” or the all-time best: “peacekeeping operation,” everyone would go back to work and ignore it, content in the act that it was just something that “needed to be done.”
It is bizarre. But that does not mean “staged.”
I like the analysis provided by Dreizen (found on The Duran):
https://thedreizinreport.com/2022/04/24/russias-plan-a-and-plan-b-explained/
Wow, there is some crazy info provided at that web link you posted above!
You’re correct Islander. ‘Staged’ is the wrong word.
Every time I try to go to John Helmer’s blog I get an error message.
But other people picked this one up. You might find it interesting.
Did Boris really go to Kiev? Really?
Well, the other ones didn’t.

Good. Maybe Chomsky can just relax and enjoy the day, for once.
So now that Elon Musk essentially owns Twitter, is President Trump going to be allowed to post to his account again??? Unfreezing his account should be the first action that is taken!
The Liar-In-Cheif has already said he wouldn’t go back, preferring to use his own ironically-named “Truth Social”.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10752537/Trump-NOT-Twitter-Elon-Musk-purchase-says-hell-start-using-TRUTH-Social.html
Of course, that means he WOULD, in fact, go back in a hot minute.
Hahahahaha, you libbers are so butthurt.
Haha! Not in the least. He’s a joke.
According to a Twitter employee, the lawyer responsible for most of the banning guidelines (chubby Indian chick who was on Rogan) was reportedly crying during a recent internal meeting on Musk’s takeover.
These past few weeks have been rather uplifting for those of us still tethered to reality.
That Twitter all-hands phone call has to be heard to be believed. Those workers are fragile mental children in need of a cry closet.
Joe Biden does not own Truth Social. He is the liar n Chief.
Cute retort, and, as usual, inaccurate.
You seem extra agitated today, which always gives me lots of laughs.
Oh, please even you can’t possibly pretend all the bullshit thrown at the wall about Trump was actual projection of Democrat crimes.
This is straight up them thinking if we do all this nasty shit then everyone else is as well.
Even the dimmest among your ilk has to see how almost everything they said about Trump was a lie even and up to he will have us at war with Russia.
benr – the dimmest among YOUR ilk attend Trump rallies and believe every fecking lie he feeds them. When was the last one you attended?
@rl
Poor lil guy your fantasy world has fallen all apart and it shows in almost all of your ridiculous posts.
Got reality?
Seek help and I have never attended a rally I don’t like crowds and he still attracts crowds ridiculous in size and scope the same can’t be said for any of your Progressive idiots.
black people are a good deal as long as you don’t hafta compensate them for their labor..

I wish Elon Musk would buy Facebook. I’m locked out of my account and I would so love to watch the shitlibs have a meltdown at the prospect of restoring free speech.
I guess it’ll have to be secondhand.
I’m guessing Elon has WEF intentions that we don’t know about yet. Nonetheless, it sure is fun to watch the shitlibs melt down. Good times.
You do a lot of “guessing”, usually well off the ails, too.
edit – rails (or nails, or wails…any would fit for thee)
Your obsession with me is getting tiresome.
The Narcissist sees obsession of herself in others. Fascinating.
Nice attempt at gaslighting, but sorry bub, that doesn’t work on me.
RL’s posts should appear in comic sans.
Funny you should say that, N.O. I kinda imagine them in comic sans, or crayon.
Naw he would eat the crayons.
Looks like Elon is triumphing. A good thing in all probability. Lester Strong brought on a Tranny to say that Elon’s Twitter won’t be good for women, lol.
You mean he brought on a real woman.
What? Rachel Levine is International Woman of the Year.
That’s all the validation you need.
Back in the day “tranny” meant transvestite – you know, like the Rudi/Trumpy skit from 2000…
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBKu9OJ8Ltk&t=7s
What’s with shifting word meanings like this?
You are so out of the loop, it’s laughable.
Trannies is now acceptable among the trans crowd.
Get with it.
Was the self-hating progressive pillow biter ever in the actual loop?
No, he supports stuff like putting men in women’s prisons because you know, trans can do no wrong. Except most of them (if not all) are mentally unbalanced and violent:
https://reduxx.info/transgender-inmate-convicted-of-raping-female-prisoner/
As do most libs.
I doubt that. You cultists use it as a perjorative.
I use it as a descriptor, and only have, since I saw them using it themselves.
You are completely out of the loop.
Stop embarrassing yourself.
His official government headshot remains one of the funniest things I have seen in years.
Every time I see that freak I bust out laughing.
What the Blue Ticks now have to pretend they think is ‘stunning and brave’ – an ugly man in a garish blond wig, make-up put on with a putty knife and high heels.
Clown world.
Good lord.
You’re cheering for a transhumanist megalomaniac.
Talk about desperate.
And you think money can’t buy happiness?
219 billion dollars…what’s in YOUR wallet?
Tom, he’s not even using his own “money”…it’s happening because he has secured finance. In all likelihood, the ‘assets’ of Twitter will be the collateral in any case. though the market cap as of today is only $39.48 billion. Is he paying over the odds?
“He’s not even using his own money”
is the 2022 version of
“Trump isn’t really rich.”
Is Musk Derangement Syndrome going to be a thing now?
I never cared much for the guy, but man is this going to get good.
LOL.
Indeed, poor rl is positively telegraphing green with envy.
Odd he only hates anyone that exposes just how terrible the progressive movements and attempts at total control really are.
Bet being around this guy in real life is like fingernails screeching along the chalkboard.
What a miserable sod.
What I find most interesting is that he is unable to engage in a conversation once someone responds to his drive-by MSM-approved snark.
At least Carghoul would attempt to twist words and create something resembling a debate-worthy response.
I am surprised he can log in.
Amber’s lawyer showed the makeup palette, a Milani cover up kit, that Amber used to hide the bruises all during their relationship.
Milani has made a statement that the kit in question didn’t exist during the years of their relationship. Oops!
Just like Anne Frank’s Diary written in ballpoint pen. There were no ballpoint pens to use.
It’s cute how much you love your celebs and their stories, truly it is.
Amber is a celeb too, genius. You naturally took the wrong side because womyn. Shame on you.
I know Amber is a celeb. What does that have to do with my comment?
So why support Amber over Johnny if both are celebs?
Can you think at all?
I didn’t take a side, moron.
They are both garbage Hwood trash, IMHO. The PTB use them to start fights among you little people.
“You little people” – Mary’s a Hillary type writ small.
You automatically were against Depp because womyn. Women are life, men are death.
Oooh double plus raging. I got compared to HRC.
LMAO.
Depp seems ok, TBH. Plays tasteful gritty blues/rock on the gitfiddle, drinks lots of red wine, and has a good sense of humor. And his crowning achievement in acting is playing a pirate.
Can’t be so bad. We’d probably get along well if he were a regular joe in my hood.
Milani??
Well, they do make a very decent pressed face powder.
“Just like Anne Frank’s Diary written in ballpoint pen. There were no ballpoint pens to use.”
Jarek,
What an odd statement You DO know that ball point pens were invented hundreds of years ago, by an inventor of African descent. Name of Toby Balls*, hence the name of the pen. The technology was lost during World War II, but later found.
This has occurred many times in recorded history. During WWII, the Germans invented a method to use human fat to immolate dead bodies…bones and all, without the use of other necessary fuels… Sadly, that technology was also lost, and to this day, cremation is an energy intensive method.
*Or so I’ve been told….
The plebes can’t resist the shiny distractions of a Johnny Depp divorce (the most boring thing ever to air on TV) and a billionaire ‘taking over’ Twatter.
Continually falling for this absolute nonsense is why we are where we are.
Sad.
It does amaze the hell out of me that some CFNers (of all people) need to be told this but here it is:
https://caitlinjohnstone.com/2022/04/26/billionaires-only-come-to-the-rescue-in-movies-and-comic-books/
I’ve never met a Billionaire I didn’t dislike.
Including Mr Kunstler who is also cheering for Elon.
Yeah, I don’t agree with him on that.
How about Daddies in Mommy Land. Did you like that one?
I think you are taking stupid pills these days, Jarek.
I am not jumping to conclusions on this.
I am not a fan of Musk’s, but the guy is not stupid (at least not in the business sense) and he must have his finger in the wind.
She takes a bold stand for the trans agenda in that piece. Twice.
That is pretty bad.
Yes, it is. Horrid.
True, but there is a lot happening in terms of networking to resist the roll-out of the digital panopticon and push back against the Great Reset agenda.
I have accepted that this evil will be something we fight until we are no longer around, but I am seeing real organization taking place among the true resistance. It’s going to end up being an us-against-them binary — freedom or slavery.
I am trying to enjoy the little victories. But most of the time, they grow into not victories…
Depends on how one defines little. The rejection of forced vaccination here in Germany, for example, was not a small victory.
It’s a fight. It’s going to go on for a long time. Don’t give up.
News just in:
Arizona Governor Announces Investigation & Audit of the French Presidential Election.
Did the French lefties also cardboard the windows of the counting site and get caught on video rolling out suitcases stuffed with ballots?
Keep us updated.
You humourless fuck.
This is what you are reduced to. And it is hilarious.
Have you ever seen a shrink rl?
That was an epic bit of humor your just to bitter to see it for what it is.
Lighten up francis.
Your politics are nothing short of fucked in the head ridiculous.
No financial melting. Jerome Powell and the FOMC are wimps with no resolve. They’ll make one or two token interest rate hikes, then reduce rates back to zero. Up up and away for stocks. On it goes.
they want negative rates.
“….The low-mileage used cars were actually priced higher than the new ones ….”
It gives me a giggle knowing my 2002 VW Golf has yet to break 84,000 kilometers. Stick shift, no air, roll up windows, looks like a GTI but is a sheep in wolf’s clothing, with a lifetime of handwashing, hand polishing, etc. Nothing fanatical, just trying to take care of the old girl.
I read somewhere that manual transmission drive is not and will not be available in the new electric vehicles. Seems I might be sitting on a dinosaur. A beauty, that has ‘never has failed me’, type of dinosaur. If the electric grid goes dark some day, hopefully we can all pile into my trustworthy little VW and escape whatever calamity we are racing away from………..there are too many to name.
I admire that new painting of Jim’s – ‘ The H & V Factory on Route 29, February’. Like my little Volkswagen, some things need to be preserved for prosperity, if only to honour their usefulness and great contribution.
To BackRowHeckler ( I don’t know why I am so attracted to his character, but I am, lol ) , ….recently finished reading about the sinking of the Lusitannia. Wilson during that period seemed to be obsessed with Edith Bolling Galt. He eventually married her, but many signals point to America being drawn into the war because that ship was left without escourt and subsequently sunk. Seems he was a little distracted from events. Sunk, maybe to deliberately to draw America into the conflict.
One can only hope that more level heads will prevail in current events. What a debacle. (Ukraine/Russia).
It’s hard to believe that any reasonably intelligent person cannot draw a dotted line from the escalation of events from 2004 forward, but I guess it gives too much credit to the theory that most people are reasonably intelligent. In fact they are not. And even if they have the mental capacity they are consumed with the adventures of the Kardashians, the terrible comic book cartoon characters displayed in all the movie theatres, and engaged in the pursuit of modern day asset accumulation absent of anything that nourishes the soul or intellect.
Enough said. What a year it will be for the US when it all leaks out…
What year is your Golf?
I have a ’96 manny tranny Outback.
Hoping goes forever, but I do hear a tiny little rattle . . . Ouch!
Random, but of all the German brands I have owned, VW and Audi were the worst on the pocketbook.
Some of the internals on the transmission on my A4 quattro Ultrasport actually melted. All cars had multiple failed window regulators, coil packs, gas guages, and suspension issues.
My recent 2009 Merc on the other hand has needed nothing but regular maintenace and a new water pump at 165,000 km.
Insanity.
I have a 69 VW that my dad bought brand new. It ran up until 2004, but now it just sits in my driveway. I’m fond of it.
But my 94 Ram is still going. It has a manual transmission, but it has power steering, so when it stalls I lose the ability to turn the wheels. That’s a downside.
I expect that they will shut down the gas stations before they turn off the electricity, though.
I have a fifteen year old Toyota sitting in my driveway. I hope it goes another 15 years.
Shouldn’t be too hard to get that VW back on the road, Paula. They are relatively simple vehicles and they made so many of them that parts are available.
Yep. Remember the days when every other car on the road was a Beetle?
There are few pristine little fellows driving around here.
They don’t make chrome like that any more.
RL…he’s not “paying over the odds” in today’s world. But collateral is a bunch of shit anyway, part of the worldwide ponzi scheme we live in. G’nite Jarek…I’m headin’ to bed.
The Malthusians running this show are the British Monarchy, financed through the corrupted City of London, and executed by its “dumb giant”, America.
Perfidious Albion.
Thank you for the clarity Mr. K. A simplistic interpretation for the masses is something like – to have something good there is all this hard work and suffering that has to happen. Oh, and the four horsemen of the apocalypse will come galloping through too. But there can be something better on the other side.
It is really amazing that this is where we are. But then at the same time it isn’t surprising because some people have been anticipating this for a long time. And too, a lot of people are not going to change unless the circumstances require it. I do hope and pray that things will turn around as you say.
If you wrote a novel five or ten years ago that included today’s real life events, no publisher would have touched it. And the thrill ride is just getting started!
“Operation Z came down on Ukraine because it misbehaved badly, egged-on by delusional war-gamers in Washington, who could only pretend to support Ukraine once the real action started”
Exactly. Even on the left, Chomsky (amazing he’s still alive), though no fan of Putin, basically thinks that by sending weapons to Zelensky we’re just prolonging the disaster & making sure Ukraine gets turned into a total wasteland:
https://www.currentaffairs.org/2022/04/noam-chomsky-on-how-to-prevent-world-war-iii
There is unmistakably a kind of aimless, gleeful sadism behind the political forces hawking this war. There isn’t any clear strategic advantage to us in doing so; it may weaken Russia, or it may fill it with rage and new purpose. At bottom, it seems to be just the pure thrill of watching different lands be tortured then leveled.
(Zelensky got off to a great start in this regard, so I understand, by arming and then releasing Kiev’s prison population… thus putting him just a baby-step behind the domestic efforts of our very own Democratic Party!)
Curtis Yarvin (“Moldbug”) was recently on InfoWars talking about this strange strain of pointlessly destructive sadism/nihilism that has come to characterize American foreign policy (though Chomsky would surely say it’s always been there).
He compares the Ukraine-NATO situation to the parable of the “scorpion and the tortoise”, in which a scorpion stings the tortoise that is carrying him across a river, dooming them both. When the dying tortoise asks why he would do such a thing, the other is nonplussed.
“It’s my nature”, says the State Departmen–I mean scorpion.
Yarvin also sees the same pointlessly destructive dynamic at work in the “Arab Spring” uprisings–just another example of US embassy staff fomenting chaos in various distant countries for no apparent positive reason. It’s just “their nature”; it’s what they know, so they do it.
So I’d be surpised if Our Betters really tried to persuade Zelensky to “throw in the towel” with Russia. I suspect that for them, the proxy-war fun of “fighting to the last Ukranian” is just beginning.
And Zelensky himself will retreat into his Miami Beach mansion, living the good life, hobnobbing with international arms dealers, cartel chiefs, and US Intel operatives. Yes, and don’t be surprised when he turns up in Nantucket or Martha’s Vineyard where the lefty and international elite spend their summers. You’ll see photos of him, shirtless and tanned, lounging on the Climate Czar’s yacht.
That’s why we need De Santis to ship his illegals up there, pronto.
To quote Lebron James ” Z will be taking his talents to Miami Beach”
Those kinds of people usually show up dead unexpectedly under mysterious circumstances. I think Z will be no exception.
Will we see all 5’6″ of him in a chestless leather catsuit again?
I forget where I read it, but someone said that America no longer has any ability to be the shining city on the hill, so it is settling for being the king of the dung heap, where it keeps the ants stirred up and fighting each other.
Seems about right.
Also, a more Orwellian matter: did anyone notice that on Wikipedia at least, the Maidan Revolt that overthrew the democratically-elected Yanukovich government in 2014 is now instead to be known to all Serious People as “the Revolution of Dignity”?
Maybe I just never encountered it, but this name seems to have just dropped from the sky. It’s doubly Orwellian, too–firstly in the strange emptiness of the term, since “Revolution of Dignity” evokes no distinctive person, place, or time, as most names of major historic events typically do; secondly in the sense that the Revolution in question was in many ways the *opposite* of dignified.
Then again, what could be more *dignified* than going from being (arguably) a Russian puppet to a globalist puppet? (In the world of puppetry, at least, this must be counted as a very big career move.)
Seriously, it seems like there is just a hat full of generically exultant-sounding names that some DEI officer in the State Department ceremonially draws from, whenever the results of one of our Color Revolutions begin to look a little too janky even for our astute virtue-signaling classes to swallow.
This is probably just super smart thinking though. As any good Soviet would tell you, the best way to solve problems caused by decades of deeply dysfunctional policy is to *rename things*… and the more renamings the better!
Like I assume if we’d helped a group of militant pedos pull off a coup somewhere by taking all the elementary schools in the country hostage, and word got out and people started saying “y’know, maybe we shouldn’t have helped pedos take over that country by holding schoolchildren hostage, that is a bit much”, this event would soon offically come to be known as “the Revolution of Young Love”. (Except that’s a bad example, since it’s basically already happening in THIS country. Color revolution begins at home, comrades!)
Actually there appears to be some tumult going on behind the scenes at Wikipedia, because there are sort of dueling terminologies: one article under “Euromaidan”, that at least keeps the root of the old name, and the other one under the exultant-name-from-a-hat:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euromaidan
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revolution_of_Dignity
It’s completely amazing how fake everything is. The “Open Society” website (which also uses the new nomenclature for Maidan), practically gloats about their role (and other outside NGOs’ role) in spreading this scrumptious “dignity” to Ukraine:
“Civil society activists and NGOs [read: us] played an important role in organizing this early protest movement [read: we provided the materials and funding and recruited or supplied the key players]” (https://www.opensocietyfoundations.org/explainers/understanding-ukraines-euromaidan-protests)
This pattern of simultaneously humblebragging about committing huge shenanigans while also semi-embarrassedly re-jiggering the naming conventions to make it sound less bad reminds one instantly of that Time Magazine “exclusive” (https://time.com/5936036/secret-2020-election-campaign/) that pretty much admitted in all our faces that yes, they did fix the 2020 election. There, they said that they were not “fixing” the election, but “fortifying” it. The similarity, I’m sure, is not coincidental.
Dignity all around! And Long live the Peoples’ Dignity Revolutions!
The phrase is ambiguous. The case can be made that ‘dignity’ itself is undergoing a revolution, both here and worldwide. Dignity is trending downward, just as honesty is. What ‘dignity’ was there in putting up Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as candidates? What honesty?
Was Trump dignified? Honest? All of these traits are becoming less and less important in the quest for power, particularly among the Democrats. Maybe the devolution of dignity would be a better way to put it.
‘It’s doubly Orwellian, too–firstly in the strange emptiness of the term, since “Revolution of Dignity” evokes no distinctive person, place, or time, as most names of major historic events typically do; secondly in the sense that the Revolution in question was in many ways the *opposite* of dignified.’
I can understand the use of “Revolution of Dignity”, the people wanting an honest and transparent government led by people who have such dignity and who are also capable of dignifying the populace. That might be an unattainable desire, but it’s a noble one. How about the “Noble Revolution”?
‘My fellow revolutionaries, liberation is a noble cause. We must fight to obtain it.’
Of course, the attainment of dignity is a noble cause!
@ts
Was Lyndon Johnson dignified talking to people as he dropped a turd in the toilet with the door open?
Was Bill Clinton Dignified masturbating into the wastebasket in the offal office?
Is it dignified thqat demented joe is being ordered to do away with title 42 and allow endless waves of uneducated people into a country that simply can’t even take care of the people who are already here?
““Noble Revolution””
How about Glorious Revolution?
Whoops, already taken.
In the past, the word “dignity” has been associated with the gay pride movement, so it’s probably that.
Lots of dignity in taking it up the #2 hole, alright. If they had any sense they’d get in touch with their inner shame.
Nothing more dignified than taking cookies, money and orders from the likes of Vickie Nuland and Joe Biden, and then selling out your entire country to carpet baggers and nazis.
“…the democratically-elected Yanukovich government in 2014 ”
That election was challenged by Tymochenko, with accusations that look remarkably similar to those put up by The Trumpster Cult:
“Early-vote returns from the first round of the election held on 17 January showed Yanukovych in first place with 35.8% of the vote.[7] He faced a 7 February 2010 runoff against Tymoshenko, who finished second (with 24.7% of the vote).
Analysts predicted a slight advantage for Tymoshenko in the second (and final) round as she was more likely to attract voters from the other 16 candidates who did not proceed to the second round.[8] Viktor Yanukovych refused to hold debates with his opponent before the second round of voting, saying Yulia Tymoshenko should either take responsibility for every word as prime minister, or go to the kitchen.[9] After all ballots were counted, the Ukrainian Central Election Commission declared that Yanukovych won the election with 48.95% of the vote compared with 45.47% for Tymoshenko.[10] Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc members immediately claimed that there was systematic and large-scale vote rigging in this run-off.[11][12][13][14]
On 10 February 2010, Yanukovych called on Tymoshenko to abandon her protests and resign as Prime Minister.[14] On 9 February 2010, Yanukovych had stated that Borys Kolesnykov was his preferred next Prime Minister of Ukraine. According to him pre-term parliamentary elections will be imminent if the Ukrainian parliament would not work effectively. Yanukovych also stated that, as the largest faction in the parliament at the time, his party was entitled to nominate the premier.[15] On 15 February, Yanukovych stated “I do not rule out the candidature of Tigipko (as next Prime Minister). Tigipko is on the list which, in my opinion, will be discussed next week in parliament”.[16]
On 16 February 2010, Ukraine’s parliament had fixed 25 February 2010 for the inauguration of Yanukovych as president.[17] On 17 February 2010, “the Higher Administrative Court of Ukraine”, suspended the results of the election on Yulia Tymoshenko’s appeal.[18][19] On 20 February 2010, Tymoshenko withdrew her appeal after “the Higher Administrative Court of Ukraine” rejected her petition to scrutinize documents:[20]
— about 300,000 voters who voted but were not in the “Register of Voters of Ukraine”;
— about 1.3 million voters who “without right” voted in their homes;
— about falsification in the election in the eastern regions (Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv region, Crimea, etc.) — fixed by law-enforcement officials.[6]
Tymoshenko stated, “I and my political party will never recognize Yanukovych as the legitimately elected president of Ukraine”, and “an honest court will assess that Yanukovych was not elected President of Ukraine, and that the will of the people had been rigged”.[21]
I guess if the Jan 6th Insurrection had succeeded (and it could well have if Pence had abandoned the Capitol Building when advised to), THAT ‘revolution’ could well be named “Dignity” by the treasonous cultists.
Wiki has been doing this for years.
They also had JHK down as a “conspiracy theorist” a while back, shortly after the blog began seriously taking on the fraudulent US election and the Great Reset.
Just another tool the intelligence community and the globocap weenies use to manufacture consent and create/alter history as needed.
Not a shock to the system:
The low-info hoi polloi believing that the wealthiest man in the world, who believes humanity’s future is on a dead, barren, and frozen planet, who LITERALLY wants to put chips in your brain, is now supported by the nose ringed former head of the greatest censoring and election fraud supporting network (who in turn supports the existing CEO!!!??? is

Yeah, I’m with you. I don’t get it.
His twitter can’t be worse than the one it has become. It may well be better if not perfect.
Elon is not integrated, thus he works for evil and then warns people against the same evil. He is an ordinary man (in this respect) writ very large.
It is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness. But of course you prefer to curse…..
I don’t think it is that simple. I am skeptical of musk in general, and I know what he’s been involved in (what is public, at least), but at the same time, it also isn’t clear that his aims align with the WEF crowd.
Like it or not, society is going digital in the future. It is unavoidable. The question is how could such a system work and still guarantee the requisite privacy and freedom from government/elite oppression to the greatest extent possible?
There is no avoiding what is coming. The small group of MEPs (Terhes, Anderson, and co.) fighting the roll-out of the EU’s digital ID scheme in the runup to 2030 have also recognized that digitization (unfortunately) is the future.
Come on the guy is from South Africa he has seen how these policies destroy societies and countries.
If they destroy America and Europe where else is there to go for first world comforts?
The issue is whether he is really in on a plan to do such a thing.
I don’t know if he is.
MEGA,
It’s been almost 30 years, and, other than putting up a Mosque, they haven’t really joined the community.
Oxymoron. Building the mosque was separating themselves from the
mainstream. They are their own coon munity.
Yeah, I just meant the brick and mortar community. They are incredibly standoffish as a whole.
Great cooks, though. Samosas! Mmmmm!
Sambusas, I meant. Basically a kind of empanada.
“I’ve Never Been to Me” by Charlene Marilynn Oliver with commentary by Christ Jackson.
This song was a flop in 1977, and singer then retired and got married. A disc jockey began playing it in the ’80’s and it went to the top of the charts in a number of countries.
Hey lady, you lady
Cursing at your life
You’re a discontented mother
And a regimented wife
I’ve no doubt
You dream about the things you’ll never do
But I wish someone had talked to me like I wanna talk to you
Thus, the song is sung from the perspective of an older lady who has lived more of her life. She notices a younger lady who is miserable with her state in life, married with children. We can imagine so many young women in our country who no doubt find it extremely difficult trying to raise a family in our current society. The drudgery of daily obligations, trying to make ends meet, the constant needs of the children and husband. Meanwhile the culture is constantly providing the enticing siren song of an escape. If you free yourself of this burden of a family you can make more money, you can go on expensive vacations, you can find true romance, you can live your dreams. The song continues as the older lady explains she has already lived the life the young wife and mother is dreaming about:
Ooh, I’ve been to Georgia and California and anywhere I could run
Took the hand of a preacher man
And we made love in the sun
But I ran out of places and friendly faces
Because I had to be free
I’ve been to paradise but I’ve never been to me…
The young woman doesn’t want to listen, but the older lady implores her to, as she cares about her and doesn’t want her to make the same mistakes:
Please lady, please lady
Don’t just walk away
‘Cause I have this need to tell you
Why I’m all alone today
I can see so much of me
Still living in your eyes
Won’t you share a part
Of a weary heart, that has lived a million lies?
“That has lived a million lies.” This lyric is haunting and echoes all of the empty promises of the Father of Lies that come across in a million images, videos, and sound bytes to young people every day through the television, radio, social media, magazines, music, the news, and universities. The fact the song calls out these enticements bluntly as “lies” was amazing to me, living as we do in our current cultural Marxist prison. She continues:
Ooh, I’ve been to Nice and the Isle of Greece
When I sipped champagne on a yacht
I moved like Harlow in Monte CarloAnd showed ‘em what I’ve got
I’ve been undressed by kings
And I’ve seen some things that a woman ain’t s’posed to see
I’ve been to paradise but I’ve never been to me…
Here she proves that she is not speaking out of turn. She has all of the modern world’s bona fides and has fully lived all of the dreams and fantasies the young lady currently has, tempting her towards escapism. Thus, the older lady proves that she speaks from experience as to what she’s about to say. Then she lets this alluring temptation society has created have it with both barrels. She directly and bluntly addresses the young lady:
Hey, you know what paradise is?
It’s a lie.
A fantasy we create about people and places
As we like them to be
But you know what truth is?
It’s that little baby you’re holding
And it’s that man you fought with this morning
The same one you’re going to make love with tonight
That’s truth, that’s love
This sets up what I feel is the most incredible part of the song and the reason I couldn’t believe it was even allowed to be released, much less become a worldwide hit. The next lines include a direct rebuke of abortion, of the unwillingness to have children out of the selfish pursuit of money and pleasure, and of the absolute emptiness that a life of seduction, pre-marital sex, and unchastity, all glorified and promoted endlessly as “liberation” by our media, brings to souls:
Sometimes I’ve been to crying for unborn children
That might have made me complete
But I, I took the sweet life
I never knew I’d be bitter from the sweet
I spent my life exploring
The subtle whoring
That costs too much to be free
Hey lady I’ve been to paradise
But I’ve never been to me…
Jarek: Yet such woman is far ahead of the young women that are being produced now. They’re so far gone that few will be able to repent. And they are of little interest to the better class of men. No King, actual or metaphorical wants to undress them.
Chris Jackson not Christ. What a noble slip of the hand by me.
Raging again, I see.
LOL! He manages to make some great points, though. This effort reminds me of the time our H.S. vice principal read us the lyrics to “Have You Never Been Mellow?” at our baccalaureate.

Dedicated to Mary Queen AKA “The One I Love”
My sister (a comedic actor) and her troupe used to make so much fun of this song, esp. how much gay men love it because it’s so melodramatic.
I used to gag when that song came on the radio. Still hate it. But it is quite profound. I can’t believe the number of women my age (57) who climbed on the c–k carousel and plumb forgot to have kids. Some of them, I’m sure, would have loved children but couldnt–but so MANY?
I bought the second-wave feminist line I heard throughout the 70s. At least I felt I had to try to live up to that. It wasn’t until I hit 30 that I realized how much I wanted a baby, and, thanks to a congenital uterine malformation, I almost failed at having one child, after 7 miscarriages. It’s alarming to think how useless I would feel right now without that young man of mine, and a loving husband. I leapt at the chance to take his surname and build a family.
Most women who don’t have kids are driven to insanity. Your child saved you!

I assume they want people to have heart attacks.

RHODE ISLAND — A state lawmaker wrote a bill that would fine unvaccinated Rhode Islanders $50 a month until they get the shot. The legislation was introduced by state Sen. Sam Bell (D-Providence)…
I’m a Rhode Islander and used to loony bills introduced into the Rhode Island legislature. Trust me. It doesn’t have a prayer of being passed
Ct is as crazy as RI in that manner, Crusher. For example, last year Ct passed a bill legalizing marijuana, but with a ‘Social Justice’ caveat: Any convicted felon drug dealer who is a ‘POC’ with be granted special status when it comes to operating state sanctioned weed dispensaries. The thinking goes, after all, they already have experience. Marijuana is a cash business; Weed Shops in other states are the site of frequent armed robberies and occassional murders, and I expect here too, they will be a point of mayhem and bloodshed, specially with convicted felons running the show.
My wife said the same thing mainstream stuff has become a death cult of sorts.
Much like the trope of we will all be dead in eigt years.

Also, Bezos has insinuated that Elon is a Chinese agent.
Kamala has covid. Quadrupled vaxxed. A sacred victim?
do you believe any of these ‘elite’ [cough] took the mrna?
I do not, unless they believed the lies.
She’s virtue signaling.
Dems no doubt would like to dump Heels Up, but who else do they got? AOC? Pete Buttpounder? The lineup ain’t deep.
How about this year’s Designated Survivor, former Governor of Rhode Island and current Secretary of Commerce Gina “No COLA For You” Raimondo, BRH?
So Harris becomes prez and names Obama as VP.
Then she has an accident or gets sick and Obama takes over again.
Or, actually, this wouldn’t even be necessary.
It would be Cheney/Bush all over again.
Democrats have had an embarrassingly shallow bench ever since the Hildabeast decided to buy herself a political career.
The only people I know who have gotten so called covid are the famous and politicians. LOL
And none of them ever have any symptoms. Hmm… How hard is it to say “I tested positive” when who in the hell knows what the test is testing for, or indeed, whether its testing for anything at all? It’s all bullshit.
And yet people are STILL afraid of big bad covid. So insane. The mask mandates are gone but I see kids here walking home from school, the odd one has a mask on. Out in the open air not anywhere near another person.
Yep. They’ve been conditioned and there will be no going back for them. They’ll be reaching for the mask at every opportunity now. Yes, conditioning is that easy, and yes again, people really are that stupid. Freaking dogs have more sense.

In the comments section some people are claiming the dead are fake, because they don’t show enough blood?
I suspect they don’t understand how blast and shockwave waves, over pressure… kills you without making you bleed out.
If your lungs get wrecked, it really doesn’t matter if you get hit by any metal and bleed out.
This is a ridiculous war. Ukraine could easily be a first world nation. They have food and fuel and all they need to have a good life; but instead they will end up a shit hole.
what a shame to end up Africa on the blk sea.
Maybe some general will assassinate Zelensky?
I’m surprised Putin hasn’t managed it yet. Common language, common culture, how hard could it be? Zelensky probably hasn’t been in Ukraine since this thing kicked off.
Zelenskyy had better hire a food taster. Remember Yanukovich’s case of chloracne from eating dioxin soup?
Very, very sad.
This was and is a totally preventable war.
The war criminals are in Washington, DC.
Nice. This kind of stuff should be obligatory in any reporting from a war zone.

I’ll be castigated ’til the cows come home, but I like a level playing field.
When the rich get richer and everyone else gets left holding the bag, a “de facto town square” is a bunch of bullshit.
Sorry, Mr. Musk, I’d like a REAL town square where folks can go and meet each other eye-to-eye, debate the issues, and come what may.
This would all be sad if it weren’t so predictable.
$219 billion…what’s in YOUR wallet??
Better question is how was everyone else so easily conditioned to accept this kind of wealth disparity in the first place? Real town square days are long gone now. The rich desperately need to remain anonymous and everyone else is too busy fucking with their “devices” to give a shit anyway. Twatter and all the rest are just more Weapons of Mass Distraction.
Dis…town square days are gone only if we the people accept it. Change is good, sure, but change for change sake is a can of worms, as you correctly point out. Narcissists of the world unite and make the world a better place! We’ll all kowtow to you and maybe even vote for you! That should plump up your egos for sure.
You would hate to have to talk to people who don’t believe the same things you do. You only want a “town square” in a town for guilt ridden ultra-liberals.

Acting Black is a crime in Russia. What a great place.
She says she didn’t know what she was doing. She knew. It was an act of contempt. Ten years hard labor would be too good for her. But I suppose expulsion is more practical.
Maybe they’ll lock her up in the same cell as Brittany Griner. It’ll be a real bonus if she plays basketball and finds a spot on the Vorkuta Squad in the All Gulag Woman’s League. Meanwhile, she’ll be mining coal for the Glory of Mother Russia and Victory in Ukraine.
What a lovely gift for you, Jarek!
You get to slap down a woman AND a black, simultaneously.
Misogyny + Racism = Truly Ugly Shit.
In other words, you think she’s above the Law because Black and female? Above everybody, right?
How does one get this twisted?
As usual, Jarek, you’re the one doing the twisting. I was commenting on your predictably sneering observation, not her behaviour.
I was sneering at her behavior. You missed the point.
I don’t know , several questions here —
not that I’m an expert on Zambia , but last I heard it was one of the poorest countries in Africa , and in the world.
But this Zambian can afford to stroll around Russia showing her ass ?
I don’t know if she can afford a lawyer , but apparently she can afford institutional media ?
Was this a case of bank robbery ? Serial murder ? A multi – million dollar drug or human – trafficking ring ?
Why is this any sort of news outside of Khanty – Masiysk , wherever the fuck that is ?
You hardly need be an expert on , or a resident of , either Russia or North Korea to know that both countries are really fucking touchy about their monuments ,
and fucking with their monuments is a huge no – no.
Not to mention that while it might not be specifically true of Zambia , the history of several African countries is that you might very well get SHOT for doing this sort of thing . Curious that she wouldn’t be aware of any of that.
You see her race.
I see yet another case of a Westerner , or newly – minted Westerner , blithely dismissing the fact that this is not the West.
Whatever .
I’m somewhat gratified that , temporarily at least , you are skating pretty close to calling my side the good guys.
She was treating her host nation with contempt. She knew what she was doing – though perhaps not the possible consequences.
” It looks like America is about to be treated to some shocks. … None of these shocks can be postponed anymore. The Left’s war on America’s psyche is over. America is going to get its mind right, even as we suffer hardship from years of epic mismanagement of our affairs. What remains is separating out the dupes from the perps.””
And those are some pretty full-on predictions that have been made here.
I must admit that I am a bit more optimistic than you are. This is partly due to fact that when you make predictions they do not tend to come true. Partly, it is because we still appear to have some residency still in the system, with Covid shocks having helped manufacturers slow down rates of globalisation due to the need for insurance against Covid like problems to supply chains. So, I think you are right in the long run, but this short term predictions stuff… well, that is a crapshoot. Let us take your predictions one at a time:
1. “The first shock will be the painful recognition that Ukraine is not prevailing against Russia’s Operation Z.”
Given that Russia could have walked into Donetsk and Luhansk in late February, annexed it, plebiscited it, and told Ukraine to leave– Europe wouldn’t have said boo, conditioned to Russian piecemeal digestive practices. Oh, but no! We had to go for the whole gamble, because Putin is a genius and , well, whatever. It has to count as one of the great blunders of modern politics and warfare to turn as sure a thing as could be possible into a UNITED Europe and US set on grinding and bleeding Russian men and material into the widening reddening dust. And now that Europe and the US are supplying heavy weapons to the Ukrainians, the Russians are not going to like this one little bit–if the Ukrainians could kick their butts before Kyiv with light shoulder held weapons, one must wonder what happens when you increase the range and destructive power of their weapons. Not good if you are Russian. I would also imagine that if the Americans are reporting potential shortages of weapons because of what they have been giving to the Ukrainians, one must also imagine that Russian reserves of material are being… sssstttrecccchhhheeeddddd, real thin. Thin. The war has been fought at a high tempo, and the lack of saturation bombing can be explained by the simple reason of shortages.
Oh, it is also a bad sign for your prediction when the Russians start whining about how unfair it is that the Europeans and the US are supplying heavier weapons to the Ukrainians.
Alternative Likelier Prediction: Assuming Putin doesn’t get a bullet in the brain pan from desperate Russian oligarchs or Kremlin flunkies, Russia cements its world pariah status by launching tactical nuclear warheads to “reset the battlefield” because it is losing the conventional war.
Other predictions: I don’t want to go there, but even money the Poles invade Belarus in response, because, you know… Russians… Poles… History
2.”The next shock will be the utterly predictable crash of global financial markets, which started last Friday and is looking to gain momentum this week.”
This so predictable that you have regularly predicted this pretty much at every downturn. One would have thought you to be more cautious after the prediction of 2008-9 did not turn out to be true. You could be right, but the fact that DeutchesBank is a Chicken Little here doesn’t seal the deal for me.
Alternative Prediction: We start getting some traction on nuclear power and alternative fuel sources as people vote with their pocket books and abandon gasoline cars as a viable means of transport in larger numbers than previously. Collectivist tendencies increase supported by the presence of electric refuelling grids that are more efficiently placed through government supported electric companies who are still not allowed to make monopoly profits… and not allowed to make loses in this case with public subsidies… naturally., screw efficiency.
We still end up collapsing, but it is still a ways off–global climate disruption is going to play the big role in that one, I think.
3. “Next shock to the system: Remember Covid-19? Do you have any idea how much homicidal fraud was committed in its name by the pharmaceutical industry and the public health agencies of the US government?”
That one is interesting. I predict that if the numbers hold up, getting vaccinated will be a decision based on a number of factors including weighing the potential of heart and other inflammation as a possible side effect, as opposed to either getting long Covid, or , you know, dying. So, that one will be a bit benefit cost decision. Some people won’t; some will. It will depend on whether better vaccines are available and how lethal the Covid strain du jour actually turns out to be. So that one will be situational.
3.5. A bit half-hearted on a RussiaGate IMHO. Since we never got anything out of any of the political machinations–e.g., unleashing Krakens, proving wrongdoing on voting in courts with any actual evidence, pillow guy’s fever dream, Trump being frogmarched in handcuffs, etc I am guessing that this whole thing will also be a big nuthin burger.
” Given that Russia could have walked into Donetsk and Luhansk in late February, annexed it, plebiscited it, and told Ukraine to leave– Europe wouldn’t have said boo, conditioned to Russian piecemeal digestive practices. ”
Perhaps so.
But why bother ?
” a UNITED Europe and US set on grinding and bleeding Russian men and material into the widening reddening dust. ”
That’s a neat way of saying you won’t send your own sons.
You won’t put up or shut up.
You won’t shit , or get off the pot.
You are heroes when it comes to beating up Panamanians , Somali’s , or Iraqis in tanks with turrets that have to be cranked manually. Otherwise you are craven pussies.
China is turning against you ( Albeit with us only temporarily , and for their own selfish reasons no doubt. )
And India is talking out of both sides of its mouth.
On the contrary , this is the perfect time to tell you publicly to fuck off.
And you won’t do shit about it ,
except maybe spend money you don’t have.
Europe ?
Lol , another one of your ” friends ” with their hand out !
And here’s another one still claiming the not – a – pandemic is a something.
Hey , I’m just defending the Russian Army , as I always have.
At the rate your sort are going , within another 20 years your fellow Americans will be killing you , whether I say a lot , or say nothing.
So please do keep it up.
Hi KesaAnna,
I notice that you don’t disagree with the analysis, just that Russia is not doing as well as Prez Putin says that it is.
And if supporting Russia and its army is your bag, go for it. But executing and raping civilians doesn’t look good no matter who is doing it. I do detect some sneaking admiration for the Europeans, Ukrainians, and US policy though.
To paraphrase Thucydides said over 2000 years ago–“War is a violent teacher that reduces e character of men to their basest circumstances …
Russia did “annex” it and the West continued to shell it, most notably the Kindergarten. That came right after a Ukrainian official smirked and said, Oh well there’s going to be terrorism.
They also “annexed” it just prior to a planned full scale Uki invasion, which got caught utterly flat-footed. That’s how Kiev got caught with their pants down in the first place. Now that they’re forces are properly fucked in the cauldron, cut off from all life support to their west, Putin’s being blamed for not just annihilating them outright, which simply doesn’t compute for the west, who would like nothing better for that to happen – because propaganda. Putin’s beating them at their own game, and all with that wry little smirk of his. Unfortunately for all the Russia haters, Shoigu and Lavrov aren’t nearly so reticent. They love to cleverly twist the knife rhetorically from time to time, which unfortunately goes right over the head of and doesn’t get reported by the lapdog western press. Too bad for us. It’s a masterclass in statesmanship, especially when contrasted with the amateurish antics of “the Joe Biden.”
Yeah but we have tom clark and the twerking Zambian.
Good thing Putin is listening to his wimmin advisors…..
Well, surprisingly, Jarek, the Ukrainians did continue to contest the attempt since Russia invaded a few years ago. How utterly inconsiderate of them! To think that it was their country! What cheek! And a kindergarten! I would say that levelling Mariupol out of existence is a proportionate response in your mind.
Hustled enough…well stated.
Jarek..you’re a jerk.
OG Hawkins…where are you??
OG is a jerk, too. Please don’t conjure him.
Elon specifically addresses twitter’s suppression of the laptop from hell story immediately after his takeover. It seems like a lot of people are glad he did and think it simply has to do with free speech and condemning censorship. But to me it actually seems like a signal. The general notion it seems is that the powers would never allow him to take one of their best weapons. But alas he is now king. So could there have been a coup d’etat behind the scenes given the state of the current regime, which was also installed essentially by a coup? If so it appears that everything is going to go downhill quickly for the regime and fast. Perhaps this particular offensive was launched to ensure that the realities of the regime can be exposed in totality without any filters.
Interesting thesis.
We have long speculated that the Deep State is not monolithic, with various theories regarding the actual facitons.
Martin Armstrong (and I think Catherin Austin Fitts0 posits three:
1. The WEF globalization gang
2. US financial interests that are globalist but also regional who are “no WAY, WEF, are you gonna mess with out money.”
3. Neocons
I think that is it.
Anyhow, where would Musk fit in?
Maybe with USA banks and against the Neocons?
Even though it is the Neocons who seem to be pushing the Green agenda that buoys up Tesla?
Musk’s appropriation of Nicola Tesla’s name has alway been to me a signal —not sure of what, though!!
It was clever, that is for sure. Nicola Tesla was one who was sidelined and destroyed by stronger powers, regardless of the significance of his discoveries. Nowadays called “canceling.”
Surely Musk knows this history.
A manufacturing company appropriated the name ‘Nicola’ as well, billing itself as a revolutionary maker of electric powered Semis that would replace in short order diesel powered trucks on the roads today.
The whole thing turned out to be an enormous scam. The guy behind it ended up a billionaire but he was recently indicted for fraud.
Hmmm I’m not exactly sure where he may fit in. Glenn Greenwald said on Tucker the other day that Elon does have connections to the intel “community” and also to people within big institutions like the Pentagon.
It’s like any large bureaucracy. There’s certainly factions and minor infighting among them over which hog gets the most slop, but in the end they’re all told to shut up and color in the interests of the larger collective. And there’s not a lot of discussion permitted in their lower ranks about the topics that effect them all. Musk wouldn’t be nearly as big as he is unless he was vetted and received the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval from the intel boys on behalf of their invisible masters. All the heavy hitters are globalist now, whether they like it or not. Russia and China too? Too early to tell at this point. It appears not, but appearances can be deceiving.
I just saw somewhere (Maybe at the Unz Review) that Musk is WEF Global Leader or some other cult level.
But this was not documented.
IMO what counts is not whether anyone was ever touched with the WEF shit wand, because people are young and some of them get a bit smarter as they get older.
Or, they might even be intel burrowing into the WEF.
So if Musk has been WEF shit-wanded, we need to find out more about it. Has he actually attended the Davos get-togethers? Has he been seen hobnobbing with Schwab?
Intel 101: Nothing of substance is EVER documented at the highest levels. If it is, it’s dis- or mis- information.

Probably best to help folks “get comfortable” with a new balance of terror, although in fact as any professional flyboy will tell you we have been on a 15-minute alert since like forever. Hey, I get it. They just dont want to talk to straight white men. Haters. Hiders. Wokers. Wankers.
Huh, a chap named Fred Kempke, CEO of the influential Atlantic Council, is actually calling for NATO troops to occupy western Ukraine. I wonder how Russia will respond if that comes to pass? One thing we learn today is Russia has knocked out the Ukrainian electric rail system; just how the heavy artillery the US has given to Ukraine will be transported from west to east (where it is needed) is anybody’s guess. My guess is it will sit rusting at the Polish border, forever. More worrisome are the several thousand Javelin and Stinger missile tubes now loose in Ukraine and presumably by now scattered all around Europe, ready to be put to work for all kinds of nefarious causes.
Too little for a canoe, maybe catfish will nest in them.
I would like to know what happened to the 10k or so stinger missiles the CIA team was looking for during the Benghazi attacks on the US embassy.
We all have suck short collective memories!
https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2013/08/benghazi-scandal-what-you-make-it/312575/
benr, I do recall an institutional panic in Afghanistan a few years back, after the Russkies made their exit and before Uncle barged in, about the sizable number of Stingers that could not be accounted for.
An airliner gets a wing blown off and oh dear who can we blame today.
It soon became evident that the wicked little pea-shooters, bane of many Hind choppers, required a “special” sort of battery – one not always in stock at your friendly local 7-11. Once the battery goes dead you can use your Stinger to club Christians to death but not much else.
Undoubtedly Uncle keeps as watchful an eye on those replacement batteries as he does on those fancy micro-switches and capacitors that make plutonium go pop. The woes of technology are as burdensome to the greaseball jihadists as to the [purported] good guys.
I should have figured it was something liked planned obsolesce or built in pms (preventative maintenance) to keep them from falling into the wrong hands.
” More worrisome are the several thousand Javelin and Stinger missile tubes now loose in Ukraine and presumably by now scattered all around Europe, ready to be put to work for all kinds of nefarious causes.”
Not to worry about the Javelins and stingers. I read that the javelins have turned out to be useless.

I hope American Taxpayers realize who’s footing the bill as ‘they stand by Ukraine’!
NEWS: Ukraine, Russia, Donbass
???? Europe is amazed by the scale of the import of luxury cars to Ukraine .
This statement was made by the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Mustafa Nayem.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly needed thousands of new BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
In just 8 days after the cancellation of customs duties, 14,300 passenger cars were imported into Ukraine — allegedly “assistance” to the army.
Kiev’s European “partners” have even decided to reduce the number of checkpoints through which cars from the EU are imported free of charge.”
It isn’t clear who’s zoomin’ who but it sure looks like a lot of Ukies—the ones who can get out and about, so maybe these are the Z-team? —are zoomin’ the bleeding-heart Europeans and US taxpayers. That is what a lot of the Ukrainians, unfortunately, are quite good at. This was a big part of the original problem. I feel genuinely sorry for the Ukes really trapped in terrible circumstances, being used as human shields, and generally having their lives effed up on all levels.
But I have a large dollop of cynicism about a lot of the others.
Odd how the creative process kicks in.

This morning on ZH – the commentary says Putin is going ahead with his *bluff* of cutting off natgas to those who don’t pay in rubles.
How f**king hard is it to understand that it’s not a bluff – he doesn’t bluff, he says something, and he does it – unlike the wholly incompetent “Biden” Administration.

Politico
Shortly after billionaire Elon Musk bought the powerful social media platform, top Twitter lawyer Vijaya Gadde called a virtual meeting with the policy and legal teams she oversees to discuss what the new ownership could mean for them.
Gadde cried during the meeting as she expressed concerns about how the company could change, according to three people familiar with the meeting. She acknowledged that there are significant uncertainties about what the company will look like under Musk’s leadership.
She spoke at length about how she is proud of the work her team has done and offered employees encouragement, urging them to keep striving to do good work at the company.
Gadde, who has worked at Twitter since 2011, is the key executive charged with overseeing Twitter’s trust and safety, legal and public policy functions. She is seen internally as Twitter’s “moral authority” and the executive tasked with handling sensitive issues like harassment and dangerous speech.
…
She has shepherded Twitter through some of its most contentious political battles, including the decisions to remove all political advertising and to boot former President Donald Trump from the platform in the wake of the Jan. 6 attack on Capitol Hill — a position that has earned her devoted fans within Twitter, as well as a large contingent of right-wing critics.
But as news of Musk’s official takeover broke, policy and legal employees fretted at the meeting about what his leadership could mean for Twitter’s carefully crafted online speech rules, including its policies against hate speech, misinformation and even political advertising.
Jarek: When the Evil cry, the Good rejoice. Will Mary Black Pill not even smile?
If Elon doesn’t get rid of her, it will indeed be time for concern.
I’ve noticed that a lot of the decision makers who censor at twitter are not really Americans, or if they have a green card or were even born here, they still aren’t Americans
This is probably the one who humiliated poor Jack on Rogan’s show, treating him as a child.
Jack doesn’t know how to stand up for himself very well in person, perhaps. Or was cowed by the political ideology of the tribe that he thought he was a part of. Well at least he supporting Elon now on twitter.
Yeah I’m glad to see him change his tune so to speak. When Trump was banned and everything I was sure Jack was completely on their side but maybe he never fully was or he realized it wasn’t the right place to be at this point?
Many of them are just ‘adult kids’ with less clues/memos, etc..
So of course Trump and Malone get bumped off. It’s about the blood-letting narrative of proper health care or politics.
Jack is simply growing up on and off the job. Learning as he goes. Even Musk or Trump or JHK for that matter…
44 Billion for a company? Really? On paper? Or Rubles? Gold? Urban or local-garden produce? A few sacrificial humans?
Anyway, humans as a species appear to be just entering puberty, which, itself, can be a problematic age. Or maybe they are exiting puberty. In any case, hopefully they can grow up fast enough before it’s too late for its extinction grim reaper to come along, swinging its scythe.

Jarek: How did the reality change so much? From it’s association with Communism. By trying to overthrow Traditional society, it provided a vehicle that Communism could use, becoming as Commander Rockwell said, Communism’s pimping little sister. As per the above, only the noun, number one, still applies at all.
As for the rest – it has become the opposite.
Coincidentally (re. Jarek’s comment) I was going to comment something to the effect that the ‘Left’ seems to have lost its meaning/got corrupted or something and that we need a new vector or to at least call some things what they actually are, like, authoritartian or despotic and/or somesuch.
Anyway, language is dynamic and changes/evolves/mutates over time. As an anarchist, I should know. (If everyone actually gave it sufficient thought, they’d realize that they, too, were anarchist, but not under ‘the other definition’.)
“The left” got corrupted just like everything else. Tired of losing elections in 1992 after the end of the Soviet Union and the apparent opening of the entire world to the wonders of crass materialism, sometimes known as crony capitalism, the putative left by default – “the Dems” – decided that whoring themselves out to the highest bidder was something they could embrace after all, especially since they were running two of the greatest whores in human history up to that time, Billy Jeff (BJ) Clinton and his whoring wife, Hillary. After that it was just a matter of signing the pre-nup so that the two parties could safely get in bed together to produce the greatest Mutt and Jeff political crime ring ever seen as a front operation for the globalist operation first conceived and still being run out of The City of London, with regional branches in Brussels, Tel Aviv, NYC, and of course DC. Now we hear labels of neo-cons and neo-libs being bandied about from time to time to throw us off the scent, when in fact this is just plain old 21st century (that’s the “new” part) machine politics practiced in a “synergistically fully-integrated manner;” MBA newspeak for “we’re unified in our contempt for anyone who’s not in our club.” Needless to say, they’re not accepting new members these days either, so don’t be so gauche as to ask. That would just be unseemly.
I can almost hear our Roman counterparts bitching about the same kind of stuff as things got worse.
BTW, I’m ‘Zazelle. That nickname was not supposed to last that long. It was kind of tongue-in-cheek. Unsure how long I’ll keep this one, but we’ll see. How do you like it? I really like the trademark symbol. Is it showing up on your end?
More seriously, I’m working on an alternative society that I call Permaea. It is based on ethics, equity and ecology. 3 E’s. Not bad, ay? And it’s heavily-influenced by permaculture too, as well as peer-to-peer and Free/Libre Open Source Software (FLOSS).
One of its main ideas and goals is to manifest itself as a global decentralized country. We think of countries as these centralized States, but says who, right?
The Man Called ShopletTM (Let’s see if the tag works). Any particular derivation of that, or was that just a spur of the moment thing?
Tag didn’t work. How’d you get superscript to take?
What I did was do a search for ‘trademark symbol’ and just selected and copied one that was already presented in superscript and then pasted it after Shoplet.
Unsure how one bakes a superscript from scratch.

“This is why I am against sanitizing of war. If this was shown as it is, no one would support a war, and that’s the idea.” ~ Spec_Ops
And I’ll add a quote to this that I’ve likely added before:
“The tragedy of modern war is that the young men die fighting each other – instead of their real enemies back home in the capitals.” ~ Edward Abbey
@ Zazelle
You mean like the fighting in the Capital on January 6th? Is that what Edward Abbey meant, that kind of fighting?
When the young men start fighting the real “modern war” in the Capital – you’ll piss you pants – happening sooner than you think my friend – diaper-up.
I’d suggest you wriggle out of your diapers, babycakes.

This was a preventable war.
These fellows have been blasted to bits for nothing.
Every war is fought by the gullible not the people who start it.
Phew, listen to the Big Diesel engines in those Russian Panzers, worth mentioning because last week on Earth Day Sleepy Joe, during a speech in Washington State, stated that in the future American Armor will be ‘Climate Friendly’, powered up perhaps by electric motors, or made to run on ‘Clean Hydrogen’, keeping emissions at ‘Net O’. That got Sleepy Joe a round of applause. I’m looking forward to Biden’s speech on Pride Month in June when he puts it all together in a nice neat package — US tanks fueled by clean blue hydrogen, manufactured with renewable energy, driven by a Tranny soldier, and flying the Rainbow Flag. MSM will be in a state of rapture when Skeepy Joe paints that picture.
The only picture Biden paints in the brown stain on his pants
So the Secretary General of the UN, who used to be the head of the EU (i.e. servant of Empire) went to Moscow to express his deep, deep concern for the beleaguered people of Ukraine.
Well, not all of the people. There are some very, very special people the UN is especially concerned about. And they want to do something about those very special people within a few days.
Who the hell is in that steel plant?
”But, in truth, we are faced with a number of situations in which Russia announces the creation of a corridor, Ukraine declares the creation of another corridor, and the situation is such that this is not being implemented in practice. Therefore, we propose to create a humanitarian contact group in which the United Nations, Russia and Ukraine can discuss the situation together so that these corridors are truly effective, so that no one has any excuses to avoid creating these corridors.
On the other hand, we understand what a difficult situation in Mariupol is. Again, with regard to this situation, I would like to say that the UN is ready to fully mobilize its logistical capabilities and human resources together with the ICRC [International Committee of the Red Cross]. I spoke with Peter Maurer yesterday, and he fully supports this initiative and is ready to work together. The idea is that we need to work together, together with the armed forces of both Russia and Ukraine, in order to solve the problems once and for all.
This will initially be an operation to evacuate civilians from the plant. Russia is constantly accused that this evacuation is not carried out. On the other hand, Russia has announced the creation of corridors, which, however, are not used. Together with the ICRC, Ukraine and Russia, we are ready to assess the situation in two or three days. This will allow the evacuation of those who want to evacuate. Of course, this is a voluntary process.”
Yes. Very, very special people = NATO combatants for whom the EU, NATO, the UN, and the US would be very, very embarrassed to have identified and whom “the Joe Biden” would probably much prefer to be buried and forgotten on the site. Talk about personas non grata – they’ve got no friends above or below ground now. Putin no doubt knows this and is enjoying the show watching the collective west squirm.
I can only hope. There are so few things I can enjoy nowadays.
Puala,
Did Gutierrez actually utter this word salad?
then he, too, is kind of using the civilians as human shields to justifiy using the influence of the UN to save the Azovstal creeps rather than, actually, call for the arming of Ukraine by the West to cease.
I copied and pasted it from a transcript posted by Karlof1 on MoA. I couldn’t believe he would be so transparent! But apparently whoever is in there is worth it to them.
The Greats, like Tucker and Babylon Bee, are starting to return to Twitter. Looks like Mary was wrong abut Elon not really changing things.
Where did I say Elon would not change things? Make sure you don’t paraphrase. You suck at that. I want the exact sentence, word for word. Not like the stuff you make up that I said.
You said he wouldn’t change things for the better. He already is after only one day. You were wrong. But we’re used to that. But it’s unbearable to you so you’re going to pretend that you didn’t say what you said.
@ MaryQueen:
Jarek has a problem with the detachment and objectivity that is necessary for expressing himself truthfully and precisely–a symptom of the way typically male emotionalism and vanity make it difficult for them to think clearly.
Women backing each other up against the Truth. Shameful and shameless. You’re should be ashamed.
The proper approach to discourse is to avoid personal attacks, carefully refrain from making statements that are not strictly true, and not make a habit strutting around preening yourself and proclaiming, “I won!” at every turn.
In other words, you often demonstrate lack of detachment and objectivity, along with emotionalism and vanity.
This is difficult to do. I will admit to occasional lapses of my own in this department–as when I called that Australian guy who used to post here “a little bitch.”
To your credit, you are outspoken (a good quality IMHO), and you are not a little bitch.
@anthea
He was a kiwi but in being a bitch you were correct!
Drove past a car today festooned with a bunch of stickers telling YOU, the observer, how to live your life.
One of the decals was a Ukrainian flag.
At the stoplight I idled alongside the early model Subaru (natch) he had his window down and his pinkish pale arm resting on the sill.
I lowered my window.
“Hey, when you going to fight in Ukraine? How ‘bout your kids (he is middle aged) do they serve?”
He just smiles that stupid smile.
You know the smile
The smile of that dumb ass working class stiff
He listens to NPR and has a bull d**e for a daughter, so you know, he’s smarter, and more importantly, better than you
He’s supposed to be white collar, not blue collar. Maybe that’s the problem. You can’t work with your hands and believe things like that.
J-lo,
You can work with your hands
or sit at a desk in a cubicle farm
But at$65k?
Guess what?
You’re a working class schlub
No, you just don’t know how to manage your money and be thrifty.
Well done!
You score a Kübler-Ross 5
Depends on where you live.
San Diego 65k barely buys a tent to live in under a bridge minimum wage is almost $23 an hour.
The fight is to stay at or above double minimum wage and that is on two incomes.
I just looked at the average rent and it is now hovering at 2500 a month with six dollar a gallon gas.
If your pay is 65 a year figure at least at 20k shaved off to pay for federal and state taxes.
Rent alone is 30k food if your frugal is 6k lights 1.5k water 1k obviously no car because the gas alone would eat through what little is left.
Where in all these numbers is a decent 401k investment or any savings at all.
No entertainment cable tv or an occasional movie.
The people who believe these things are generally government employees/retirees–or quasi-government employees/retirees. This describes almost every liberal I’ve ever met, either online or in real life.
My daughter who is in her early thirties tells me that the kids she went to high school with have all fallen for the government’s Ukraine narrative. (She knows this from her Facebook feed.) So maybe the younger people have been thoroughly brainwashed–or come from families where everyone is a government or quasi-government employee–which, nowadays, probably includes at least half of all employed people.
Everyone on my Facebook feed thinks it’s all bullshit, except for those ubiquitous “sponsored” posts.
No. If he were cool, he’d have a trans ‘son’ not a bull dyke daughter. Those are on the outs with the new agenda.
Several posters parroted the lies in the below post.

If you watched the mainstream media (MSM) news lately, you might be noticing how everything they told you is a huge lie. The MSM said Hunter Biden’s laptop with treasonous deals and nasty sex photos is nothing more than Russian disinformation. LIE. We were told over and over again by the MSM, that the so-called dossier on Trump with tawdry tales were true or mostly true. Total LIE. The MSM told all the CV19 vax is safe and effective. Huge LIE and the MSM was paid $1 billion to push this Deadly LIE. The MSM said, and is still saying, Ivermectin is not effective against CV19. Another Huge LIE!! Re the state of the Russian economy, “don’t cry for Vladimir Putin . . .”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQegGVWtiBo
It’s really going to be interesting to see what happens in Europe now that the energy flow from Russia is being halted; today, natgas to Poland and Bulgaria is ending. Germany is putting on a brave face, stating that petroleum, coal and natgas from Russia will no longer be accepted by the end of the year. Thing is, with Germany’s sudden willingness to provide heavy weaponry to Ukraine, I wouldn’t be surprised if Putin cut Germany off right now, tonite.
One of things Germany is providing Ukraine is Panzers; once again the world will witness German armor bearing the Iron Cross rolling east toward the Russian Steppe on the backs of RR flatbeds.
Biden should get some lend/lease program going there, Americans could send their sporterized 98 mausers back to germany with 8×57 surplus ammo, clear the American streets of some of those deadly sniper rifles, a twofer.
Mike, K98s are getting hard to find, and rather pricey. The days of a Mitchell Mauser for $400 are long gone it seems.

100th…you got a beef w/Subaru, the leftist’s Cadillac?
Tommy, it’s never the object.
It’s the emblematic value.
The symbolic value recognized within society
Not it’s calculable value
I’m sure a Subaru is a perfectly fine, if boring, vehicle.
Affordable, fuel efficient, cargo space, and with AWD capability.
Some people, in Washington state, adore them for these reasons.
Some people adore them because they are in par with an equal sign sticker.
I love big-boned women in brush-cuts, labs, and frisbee golf in that order.

So it was the frisbee golf
Never heard of frisbee golf.

The plot thickens. Amber was dating Elon, trying to forget Johnny, whom she still “loved”. She asked her agent to try to arrange a meeting even after she had accused him. The agent let them meet in a house of another client. The person returned and they resumed meeting in a hotel room. It stopped going well and they began to argue. Fine months later Amber was a Domestic Abuse star in a real life reality TV show.
Did Elon also abuse Amber?
Many people believe that love never means having to say you’re sorry – or being sorry either. If you can’t abuse your lover, what’s the point, right?
Feminists are writhing in agony about the exposure of wives abusing their husbands – the agony of the damned.
The Agent never saw any abuse of Amber.
The Agent is no longer Amber’s Agent.
Too bad she didn’t wait and do this to Public Enemy Number One: Elon. She could have been a true Heroine…..

BLEED RUSSIA DRY ?
Perhaps a comparative look at quite recent history may give us some clue as to the merits of this premise ?
We ( the Russians ) went in to Afghanistan to prop up a friendly regime.
We sent a relatively small force to Afghanistan , we spent a fortune in Afghanistan.
We gave up after ten years .
We staged an orderly and leisurely withdrawal . No helicopters landing on rooftops to save the day at the last minute like in some Indiana Jones bullshit.
And the regime we had tried to prop up survived another two years after we left.
The United States and NATO invaded an Afghanistan with a hostile regime , and a culture no less alien than it had been to Communism.
Near as I can tell , the United States and NATO sent three times as many troops as we sent ,
and spent the equivalent of three fortunes to our one.
( Not including the previous ten years they spent bankrolling the Mujihadeen. )
They stayed 20 years ,
Their withdrawal was something of a ( albeit minor ) rushed cluster fuck.
And the regime they imposed and propped up collapsed in 48 hours.
Over the past hundred years Russia’s two friendliest allies have been Mongolia and Afghanistan.
Generally because the Russians constitute the friendly and somewhat helpful neighbor in both cases , when their other neighbors are totally hostile assholes in both cases.
Given this , Russia’s intervening in Afghanistan to prop up a Communist regime probably was a bit stupid.
Because we can reasonably speculate that within 5 , or at most ten years , of the collapse of that regime , Afghanistan and Russia would be right back to closest of allies regardless of what the regime in Afghanistan labels itself as being.
As things stand , the war between Russia and Afghanistan was only ten years , 30 years ago.
And again , war or no war , Russia is habitually Afghanistan’s friendliest immediate neighbor.
The Americans in contrast are aliens from out of state , and their kleptocratic Heroin puppet state was just yesterday.
So my bet for the future would be that , and probably already , relations between Russia and Afghanistan are light years better than relations between Afghanistan and the United States .
In sum ,
The United States last attempt to give Russia its own Vietnam resulted in the United States GIVING ITSELF ANOTHER , longer , more expensive , Vietnam..
* ” The United States last attempt to give Russia its own Vietnam ”
— Excluding Syria.
The United States royally fucked that one up , too.
You’re misreading history, Kesa. Russia enters conflicts with the misguided notion of actually “winning” something politically or militarily, while the US (actually, the Federal Reserve, who funds these things) “wisely” enters conflicts with only profits in mind. Much smarter since they’re passing the costs off to the US Treasury gratis and the profits to the private sector contractors whom they own. Two radically different philosophies.
“We staged an orderly and leisurely withdrawal ”
I’m not certain regarding leisurely. Orderly? Yes.
Colonel General Gromov was the last to leave.
As the story goes, as he crossed the bridge, he made sure there were no troops left behind by being the last to leave.
Kesa having met a fair number of Afghanis some despise Russia.
The people don’t really like Russia but the government for lack of a better word might.
The people don’t really like the US but many of them want to live here can’t say the same about Russia.
Afghans are very clan orientated and every clan has a different belief or want, and you really can’t get the same answer from any of them.
You can buy cooperation, but they will go to the highest bidder and then stab them in the back on short notice.
Further a billion here and a billion there is different from the American government than it is for the Russian government.
Its about GDP and access to resources so the US may have spent three times as much but when gdp is 100% more that three times as much really is a drop in the federal bucket.

Looks that way.
In any case, I have to take mine off and go for a bike ride and burn off some screen-time and let the likes of Islander babble on about the shadows on the Cave walls.

“One manifestation of this ideal of refusing geopolitical borders in favour of older or no borders can be seen in Hogan’s repeated references to the idea of Pangaea, the theorized ‘original’ landmass that eventually broke apart into the continents… Through their reconnection with Native understandings of space and their successful creation of an effective coalition, Hogan’s characters claim citizenship as Native subjects who have a different but valid knowledge of the world and can forge the political power to help shape that world.” ~ Dreaming of Pangaea: Decolonizing Strategies in Linda Hogan’s Solar Storms

“The only viable solution of solvency and prosperity is a free market in private currencies– a solution without the state and its central planners– one voluntarily determined by market participants.” ~ Tim Swanson
“Louis Althusser further developed it in his writing on what he called Ideological State Apparatuses, arguing that the latter’s power is partly based on symbolic repression…
Symbolic power… is fundamentally the imposition of categories of thought and perception upon dominated social agents who, once they begin observing and evaluating the world in terms of those categories — and without necessarily being aware of the change in their perspective — then perceive the existing social order as just. This, in turn, perpetuates a social structure favored by and serving the interests of those agents who are already dominant. Symbolic power is in some senses much more powerful than physical violence in that it is embedded in the very modes of action and structures of cognition of individuals, and imposes the specter of legitimacy of the social order.” ~ Wikipedia

Neo: What truth?

“In the allegory ‘The Cave’, Socrates describes a group of people who have lived chained to the wall of a cave all their lives, facing a blank wall. The people watch shadows projected on the wall from objects passing in front of a fire behind them and give names to these shadows [Biden, Putin, Musk, Ukraine, etc….]. The shadows are the prisoners’ reality, but are not accurate representations of the real world…
Socrates explains how the philosopher is like a prisoner who is freed from the cave and comes to understand that the shadows on the wall are actually not the direct source of the images seen. A philosopher aims to understand and perceive the higher levels of reality. However, the other inmates of the cave do not even desire to leave their prison, for they know no better life.” ~ Wikipedia, Allegory of The Cave

Yes, philosophical musings in a time when brutal ‘Realpolitik’ is shouldering itself to the fore.
I for one am looking forward to the ‘The White House Correspondents Dinner’ on Sat. nite. Word is Kim Kardashian will be in attendance this year! Sure it’s a big Hollywood Showbiz — MSM — Lefty Pol Circle Jerk, and at a time when the international order is collapsing and the Proles out in Dirt Land can’t afford a tank of gas for their car, but so what? The dinner entre’ will be delicious, the Champagne cold … plenty of yuks will be had, lot of mutual ass sucking and back slapping amongst these American elites. Yesterday in a speech Putin stated “We will not permit NATO occupation in what is part of historical Russia”, which seems like the crux of the whole war. Putin also threatened nuclear annihilation for any NATO country directly interfering with Russian activity in Ukraine; that ought to get a good laugh out of the luminaries at the White House Correspondents Dinner.
Joe Bidens many failures are going to be in the history books and much like his admission he drove trucks much of his success he brags about is simply vaporware.
He even bragged about putins fear of him.
What an absolute joke for this man and his vaporware fantasyworld.
I’m sure corn pop is still shaking in his boots.
“Truck Drivin” Joe must be pretty upset. In my area it’ll cost him $5.50 a gallon to fill that ol’ “White” cabover. Add another dime for DEF and the clean air crew. Sniffy might wanna slow down and look for a pickle park and take a break.
LOL! I’m picturing “the Joe Biden” doing a pratfall out of a Peterbilt cabover.
Watch out Joe! That first step’s a doozy! I’m sure the only driving he was ever doing was from the sleeper.
Perhaps past time to be more autodidactic?
The only autodidact on this site is KesaAnna. As far as I can tell everybody else went to college.
BRH, you have a very narrow definition of autodidactic.
Most of what I have learned did not come from school, and most of what I am good at came through self-teaching. I suspect many here are the same.
The degree collectors (in my experience) don’t land on sites like CFN, etc.
And now we’re stuck unlearning all that rot. Especially business majors.
I won’t argue that point, Owl. Its obvious you have a depth of knowledge and experience that goes way beyond what one would pick up at the University. KesaAnna hasn’t had the advantage of a university education but you have to be impressed how much she knows about many subjects.
BRH, I went to college very late – in fact, just graduated in 2019. Most of my life, I’ve been an autodidact.
Clusterfuckers: 2022 NFL Draft tonight, live from the world-wide capital of hedonism, sin, and drunken and drug-fueled debauchery, Las Vegas, NV!
Philosophical and/or odds making musings for the weak of mind and/or spirit:
In an epically poor QB class, will ANY QBs be picked in the first round this year ands will they be roundly booed by that team’s fans if they are?
In an epically rich OL and DL class, how many of these hulking beefcakes will come off the board before any other position and who be the first (or will they all?) to perform the obligatory crotch grab?
In a related wager, after which pick will “The Commish,” the Roger Goodell, be dunked headfirst into the Fountains of Bellagio by one of the aforementioned hulking linemen and how much will the young man earn overnight in endorsement contracts for doing so?
And finally, will “the Joe Biden” make a totally unexpected cameo appearance in a fugue state, wandering around the stage aimlessly looking for someone – anyone – to shake his hand, before finally being escorted off stage by embarrassed league officials to the jeers and cat-calls of the assembled mostly red state crowd?
And the question on everybody’s lips as draft night approaches: will the world famous blogger known only as “The Q.” make an appearance resplendent in Ruckers scarlet from head to toe, with or without pretty young coeds in tow and possibly tasked with keeping an eye on “The Joe Biden?”
Well what’ya know, the NFL has found a new way to ingratiate itself with the MICC. A comely little Ukrainian bitch kicked off the festivities, even before the obligatory orgy of red, white, and blue military love, with a little “support Ukraine and freedom” speech (preferably with dollars, which are still not quite free), complete with highly evocative Sieg Heils (which a few of the dipshit players standing behind her mimicked like the trained poodles they are) thrown in at the end for good effect. I wanted to puke and tell her we’re only allowed one Nazi pep rally at a time, and if she want to support her fucking “homeland” so bad she should get her skank ass back on a plane and get the fuck back there pronto. Daddy Putin might just have a little surprise waiting for her when she gets there.
Book recommendation for the Ladies:
Nina Jankowicz
Men “burst violently into your mentions and your life like the Kool-aid man, demanding your attention, hawking opinions that they believe are unarguably, manifestly correct and indispensable.”
A taxonomy of trolls, excerpted from How To Be a Woman On Line
Jarek: It’s apparently a handbook on how to get men banned so you can be safe.
Why did we give women power? This is always what they were going to do with it. It’s who they are: Emo-Fascists.
She’s a new appointee to the Department of Homeland Security. She “shudders” to think of what Elon is going to do to Twitter, putting women and minorities at risk. In contrast, Elon has invited his enemies to stay on Twitter because that’s what freedom means. A clear cut example of good and evil with Elon being the good (at least in this case).
Misandry (the hatred of men) is being weaponized – again. Nina knows just the right note to sound to get women on her side.
Women ganging up against male abusers (either real or fancied) and then yelling at the Chief to do something about it makes sense in a society where men rule. But it is fatal in a so called Democracy where women have political rights.
I think you’re mistaking this site for your usual incel MRA site?
The early life of md’s wife,
My dad got paid once a week. My mother and I would walk to the First National Bank [ about eight blocks ] and cash his check, then we would walk over to the electric dept. and pay our electric bill. Then we would walk to the drugstore and have a soda or a root beer float. Then we would walk to TG&Y and she would buy me some embroidery stuff and say there’s your entertainment for the week. After this we would walk to the grocery store and buy some food and carry it home.
My wife will recite this occasionally with tears in her eyes [ rarely do the details change ]. Her mother passed a month before we met. She still grieves for her mom but sometimes I think it is also for the way she grew up. She was an only child for 14 years. Her brother remembers nothing.
Those were the days!

Jarek: Where do you stan? Do you stan with Tim, Nina, and the Ladies? Or do you stan with Elon and the cool kids? There’s no more middle ground, no more fence to sit on. You gotta take a side and Stan.

World leaders are obsolete. Only you know how to live your life. Perceived heroes are not. This falling down [ society, economy, frothing soup ] is triage antithesis written large. Listening to the loud voice will get you.
The still small voice is the one to hear.
That pretty much goes for all levels of life these days. Act boldly and the seas of apathy and helplessness will almost always part. Just beware the lawsuits and/or public shaming afterward if the naysayers sense an opportunity.

It’s on. Brent and WTI are up 4% on the news. OPEC plus Russia will not be increasing production at any meaningful rate.

Granny may not drive much but she has to heat her house. No. 2 fuel is at a record and going higher. $4.96/ gal wholesale and $5.50 retail. Solely caused by “The Joe Biden” policies. From Potatoheads Inauguration day through 2/25 ( Ukraine SMO start) it was up 87%. From 2/25 until today 4/28 No. 2 is up another 81%. Not because of Putin’s war but due to the hair-brained sanctions imposed by the dolts in DC. (DIDC)’s. How’s that working out? The ruble is back at 72/dollar exactly where it was at the start of the Fauxi scamdemic.
Part of me thinks the last 3 years have been schemes executed to stop climate change.
One of the key solutions is to drastically slow the global economy. Something no one would agree to.
Covid, Supply constraints and now War are accomplishing this. They were never going to ask us what we would give up. How much we’d sacrifice.
Why is Ukraine do strategic tgat they are willing to destroy economies around the world
Why is Russia executing the war so slowly
So strategic that

Yes. Scary climate and weather stuff happens all the time. Always has, always will.
And I keep returning to, if Al Gore was correct in 2005, we’d be underwater by now (well, coastal people anyway). Instead, he and his cabal members have bought shitloads of beachfront property upon which to build their mansions, and mega-yachts and planes that use up fossil fuels like nobody’s business.
It’s been colder than a sonofabitch here. I think Stelmos will back me up on that. High winds making it even worse.

The Cress Theory of Color Confrontation is the reason you are being distracted by so called “Critical Race Theory.”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1fDIhqf4yrs
“Critical Race Theory”, CRT. I must be old because when I hear CRT I think cathode ray tube. I remember the TV repair man making house calls to fix the old 25″ walnut console TV . Fancy truck and carrying his big box of vacuum tubes. Science geek as I was I would watch over his shoulder and grill him with questions. I especially liked it when he deguassed the CRT and sent it into a psychedelic frenzy. Imagine what a house call would cost these days.
Worked in a TV repair shop as a gofer boy way back in the day. Roughly half of the color TVs they had in for repair for muddy color or cloudy picture were simply a matter of cleaning the nicotine buildup off the CRT. They always kept them for a few days and charged them the full rate for troubleshooting anyway.
Hard to believe now that CRTs have only been gone for 15 years or so.
Is that when TVs had vacuum tubes?
Yeah, although they went solid state sometime before the CRTs died.
Potatohead proposes another $33,000,000,000.00 for Ukraine. 125 million income tax payers in the USA. That’s $264 per taxpayer. $528 for my wife and myself. Nobody asked my thoughts on the matter. That’s on top of the billions we already sent them. MIC very pleased. All the swamp critters will vote for it of course cuz you know Russia, Russia, Russia, Putin Bad, Putin Killer.

Phew, where’s all that schwag going, seeing as how Ukraine has no Navy or Air Force to speak of, and even the Ukrainian army seems non existent? Name one Ukrainian Army Unit besides the Azov Battalion. Name one General. You would think by now a victorious general would have emerged, one name that the western world and the Ukrainian people could rally around. It seems like it’s all Zelensky, all the time. Is there a 1st Ukrainian Army, a 2nd Ukrainian Army, a Ukrainian Naval Infantry? A General like Zhukov, Von Manstein or Patton? I haven’t heard of any, have you?
No, but I’m guessing there’s 1st Ukrainian bank account.

I wouldn’t trust Musk any more than I’d trust his fellow African Candace Owens.
Jarek’s trying to make CFN into his private Roosh V tribute site or something.
LMAO.
Sekiro: fake news on a fake news station.
There’s no violent way to get people together in brotherhood, It’s like killing for peace…it makes no sense.
I don’t know if this is as significant as Denninger is making it out to be, but it does seem to be a step in the wrong direction: https://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=245746

Like so many clips of this drooling mental patient, it is funny, but I think the most amazing thing of all is that in the West, it is apparentlynow just fine and dandy to sieze the property of private citizens without a trial or any kind of official procedure in which the affected individual would have a chance to defend him/herself.
What’s next? The Drooler’s new Orwellian Department of Misinformation preparing a procedure for disposessing Americans of their homes for comments on the Internwebz?
What a joke. These people are absolutely insane.
“seize”
That’s one of those cases where “i before e, except after c” will fool you. I had to check the spelling myself.
Yeah I was wondering by what legal authority the Govt. can seize the private property of Russian citizens, or even people simply with Russian heritage. And it’s not only yachts, but apartments, houses, even bank accounts and contents of safe deposit boxes. Is this being done just by decree? Or is it a question of ‘getting even’ and going ahead and confiscating property belonging to Russians and worrying about the legality of it later?
Also, according to Tucker, Chaiman Xiden has established a Federal ‘Ministry of Truth’, presumably to monitor sites like this one.
Russian is the new black.
The Dred Scottski decision:
They had for more than a century before been regarded as beings of an inferior order … and so far inferior, that they had no rights which the white man was bound to respect;
I can’t help but get the impression that the repression of black in former times might well have been an existential imperative. You can see that black have no respect for the rights of others, whether these others are black or white. You can also see that this problem is not corrected by economic supports like welfare and affirmative action. Nor is it corrected by education.
In the past, blacks were prevented from being socially and economically destructive by strict segregation, Jim Crow laws, restrictions on travel, etc.
That may have been the only economical way to prevent the type of disorder, high crime rates, and cultural degradation we see today.
What I mean by “economical” is that, while some would argue that black criminality could be restrained by rigorously enforcing the laws, this is simply not affordable. There is such a high percentage of criminality among blacks that putting all the black criminals in jail would be too costly a burden for society to bear.
That, IMHO, is why there is little or no law enforcement in the cities; cities simply can’t afford to put all the black criminals in jail, as there are too many of them.
Segregation was an economical way to solve this problem. If blacks are not allowed in the white neighborhood, store, restaurant, or hotel, they won’t have the opportunity to loot stores, shoplift, riot at the mall, steal people’s cars and bicycles, and vandalize homes and businesses. And white people would not have to endure loud talk, oud and offensive music, profanity, public urination and such.
Naturally a person would prefer measures that would not deprive blacks of their civil rights. But I don’t think anyone can think of any.

What crime did African people commit that qualified them to be enslaved in perpetuity and beyond, in the United States?

Do you realize some white people would say the same things about Jews?
Would you agree with them?
They’re using the “We’re the government and we can do whatever the fuck we please,” precedent, brh. Little known, even in legal scholar circles, but VERY effective. It’s one step beyond eminent domain, but the same basic principle.

Oh please expand on this thought.
Where are jews doing constant rive by’s, raping, looting, murdering, screwing anything they can and all the other assorted nonsense the ghetto culture has made glamorious.
@ Anthea
I would suggest all the issues you bring up to are a direct problem of ghetto culture and not race in of itself.
I know many good honest hard working black people who don’t exhibit the chip on the shoulder attitude so many of their peers have.
Most of them are educated, come from decent families with two parents raised in middle class neighborhoods and church going parents.
When they got out of line their parents disciplined them.

This might hit the nail on the head. Interesting how the economy is shrinking for everyone except the shrinkers, isn’t it?
The question is, what does it mean, this shrinking?
Even if global warming by CO² emissions is happening… its potential danger pales in comparison to the dangers the loss of hydrocarbon-energy sources and impracticality of any alternative replacement present to human society over the next few centuries.
Intentional economy-shrinking could be a minor positive in light of long term energy-issues, to my mind… but not necessarily.
It does not confront the heart of the long-term issues, which is: human social and economic structures must change fundamentally. Short term economic contraction is only a minor stopgap, a small piece of a larger transition… (and that is the most optimistic possible view of these short-term, intentional economic-contraction measures).
But, the big point is that the REAL issue
is the LONG-TERM ENERGY issue. Political squabbles that do not touch the long-term energy issue are shallow distractions.

Ukraine didn’t invade Russia. Russia invaded Ukraine.
