What were the execs of these mighty companies thinking — these knights of the boardroom, these capitalist geniuses, these moral nonpareils — when they cancelled Atlanta’s turn to host the midsummer All-star Game to “protest” Georgia’s passage of a law that requires voter ID? Surely that they were striking a righteous blow against systemic racism. And then, the rest of the world realized — almost immediately — that Major League Baseball requires online ticket buyers to show ID when they pick up their tickets at any stadium… and that Delta Airlines requires passengers to show ID (duh) before being allowed to fly in one of their airplanes… and that various other corporations snookered into this latest hustle such as Nike, Coca-Cola, and Calvin Klein support forced labor in the Asian nations that manufacture their products.

They’re Woke, you see. The tentacles of Wokery have reached into every last compartment of American life now, more effectively even than the Covid-19 corona virus. Wokeness emerged on the scene in 2014 when the feckless teenager Michael Brown was shot to death by police officer Darren Wilson upon arrest in Ferguson, Missouri, an event that kicked off the Black Lives Matter movement. The moral panic BLM ignited proved to be a spectacularly effective device for repelling the truth of the situation, and many more like it, which was that Michael Brown resisted arrest, fought with, and menaced officer Wilson before getting shot.

The Woke moral panic that proceeded from this effectively suppressed two truths about police relations with Black America: 1) that Blacks committed crimes against life and property at a disproportionately high rate to their percentage in the US population, and 2) that the number of unarmed black people killed by police was statistically minuscule, and in most cases involved people resisting arrest or fighting with police. As the 2016 election approached, the Democratic Party realized it was in its interest to cultivate the Woke moral panic so as to marshal the Black voting bloc so crucial to victory at the polls.

With the help of their allies in the news media and the coddled faculty ideologues on campus, the Democrats fed this moral panic until it grew into an historic mass hysteria every bit as insane as the witchcraft hysterias of the Middle Ages in Europe. Then Mr. Trump came along, inflicting a savage trauma on the Left, and after his election, the news media and the campus crusaders were joined by very potently placed officers in the federal bureaucracy — especially the Intel Community, with its weapons for disordering public opinion, and the Department of Justice, with its ability to ruin lives and reputations — to crush Mr. Trump and everyone who opposed the Left’s will-to-power.

They kept it up for four years, using every device in the bureaucracy to drive Mr. Trump from office while deliberately gaslighting, hoaxing, misdirecting, and bamboozling the public. In the process, the Democratic Party became hostage to the worst elements among its supporters and foot-soldiers: the race hustlers, the gender-deranged, the criminal sociopaths, the limousine Marxists, the Wall Street swindlers, the Silicon Valley megalomaniacs, and even America’s foreign adversaries — as evidenced by the Biden Family’s lucrative dealings with the party that runs China.

In 2020, China gave the Democrats their greatest gift, Covid-19, a means to wreck the US economy and an excuse to pare away Americans’ constitutional rights to various freedoms of speech, published expression, movement, association, self-defense, and economic liberty. Finally, in managing to elect the inert and incompetent Joe Biden via ballot fraud the party went a scam too far.

All social hysterias run their courses. They run out of new gags, and out of new recruits. Their tropes grow tiresome, even comical, such as the Woke mainstays of “racism,” “misogyny,” and “white supremacy.” Their promptings reveal themselves as obviously dishonest. The punishments they seek seem increasingly warped and sadistic. The behavior they induce begins to look patently insane. That’s where America stands now.

To keep the flywheel of hysteria spinning during the Covid year of 2020, the Dems turned the death of George Floyd into a new-and-improved second coming of Michael Brown in order to juice BLM for the fall election. This time there were video cameras galore on the scene to capture what turned out to be an ambiguously deceptive storyline. Half the world flipped out at the sight of Derek Chauvin kneeling on George Floyd’s neck at that Minneapolis intersection. It sure didn’t look good. Now that former officer Chauvin is on trial for Murder 2 and 3 plus manslaughter, the prosecution spent a week demonstrating indeed how bad that looked, with one witness after another who described how bad it made them feel to watch George Floyd die. Of course, watching anything die can be horrifying. It was, in essence, a wholly sentimental case for the prosecution.

The defense is ready to present facts that tell a different story: of a multiple violent felon and drug abuser hopped up on dangerous levels of narcotics and stimulants, with an impressively dire array of medical problems including Covid-19, who refused to follow police instructions, and in a manner that appeared deranged, leading to his being subdued by an approved police procedure to prevent harm to himself and others. The Minneapolis city council already queered the trial before it started by granting a $27-million settlement to the Floyd family, officially imputing guilt on Mr. Chauvin’s side. BLM has made it clear that they will not accept an acquittal.

Even a conviction is liable to inspire riots as the victory dance revs into the warm spring nighttime. Judging by last year’s BLM uprisings in city after city, the precedent has been established that mob violence is justified and holds no consequences. Something tells me that this particular error in political thinking will not be indulged this time around. The Woke hysteria and the hustles that grow out of it have shot their wad. Something else has awakened in this land: a recognition that we are in serious trouble, that our adversaries are having their way with us as we act stupidly, that we have become our own worst enemies, that being insane is not a virtue.

Requiring ID is clearly racist, so we MUST make it illegal to require ID for any purpose in the USA.

      • hmuller April 5, 2021 at 10:40 am #

Excellent point, Mary. It makes me wonder. What if in the name of safety for all, they only allowed people with Covid vaccination papers into the polling places. I’ll bet the Democrats would embrace that idea.

Even those with mail-in ballots would have to present proof of vaccination, since those nasty covid bugs can live on paper for who knows how long. LOL

Just give it 3-5 months and the antibodies, generated via mRNA, to corona spikes (which are literally everywhere in the body due to the ubiquity of the common cold, also a corona virus with corona spikes) start chopping away at tissue containing the corona remnants (e.g. lungs, liver, kidney, brain, vascular, you get the picture). So sad, so stupid. So fascist.

            Idiocracy always has its day.

          • hmuller April 5, 2021 at 11:23 am #

And I’ll bet you, Neurodoc, they’ll blame that on the unvaccinated. The authorities have a talent for blaming the innocent for their crimes.

Whistleblower Mike Yeadon, former chief science officer and Pfizer vice-president, said that the vaccine was part of a depopulation scheme. Look that up on google and you’ll get pages of articles “debunking” and attacking Mr Yeadon.

            A sign of the times.

          • MaryV April 5, 2021 at 11:56 am #

@hmuller yes they are already laying the groundwork to blame the ‘unclean’ (unvaxxed) for the coming illness and deaths of the vaxxed.

What a scheme. It’s a shame that the same tricks work on people over and over, ad nauseam.

The Pfizer phase 3 trials started at the end of July 2020, so I guess we could find out if the participants are now dead.

            Response to feralandroid

The mRNA procedures (not true vaccines per the FDA and NOT approved as vaccines) produce antibodies to all cells that exhibit or CONTAIN corona spikes. Multiple immunology experts, that have not yet been banned from msm, have demonstrated that
1-most people have had corona infections via the common cold, and thus have corona spikes in most tissues (i.e. trash left over from NK cells and antibodies fighting those infections).
2-when mRNA procedure induced antibodies, en mass, start developing and targeting those residual trash corona spikes the tissues in which the ‘spike trash’ resides will be attacked. Think it thru from there. This is all widely accepted pre march2020 science.
            Hope this helps.

            Response to Greenalba

The HUMAN safety studies were skipped via ‘warp speed’ BS; the human safety studies are going on NOW. That’s a major reason why the mRNA procedures are NOT FDA approved or cleared as vaccines. Your friends and relatives are participating in a massive human safety study without fully informed consent, hence the case of Israel health admin being brought before the World Court for Neurenburg violations.

The typical sequence of vaccine study phases has been turned on its head via ‘warp speed’ thinking. Typically true vaccines take 3-6 or more years to produce a SAFE product. Recall that in the SARS vax studies all the vaccinated Rh monkeys died. Think about that (the mRNA procedures are spin off of the failed SARs ‘vax.’).

          • GreenAlba April 5, 2021 at 1:06 pm #

A short search seems to suggest the trial participants are still fine as of early April 2021, six months (at least) post second dose.

            https://www.pfizer.com/news/press-release/press-release-detail/pfizer-and-biontech-confirm-high-efficacy-and-no-serious

Of course Pfizer could be secretly hiding them comatose in a huge hangar, like in that film with Genevieve Bujold and Michael Douglas, the press release being dated 1 April an’ all.

Thank you for your sarcasm, GA. It shows how open minded you truly are. Point being, no one knows how long it takes for all the side effects to manifest.

And everyone is not OK. There have been plenty of “unintended side effects”. There always are with vaccines. But I wouldn’t expect you to take note of what the MSM does such a good job of covering up.

Sarc aside, I read, some months ago I think, the comments of the chap who led the 2012 study using mice he says didn’t die at all. He also says the vaccine platform used for the Covid19 mRNA vaccines is completely different from the one used in the trials for SARS in any case.

            https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-factcheck-mice-idUSKBN2A22UW

I know some people can’t read anything called a Fact Check because it must have been paid for by Bill Gates or whatever, but the study lead says what he says. If you can find him saying somewhere else that Bill Gates was holding a gun to his head, I’m happy to read it.

I have no skin in the game. I haven’t taken the Pfizer vax and neither have my family, as far as I’m aware. Apart from my husband. If he suffers any ill effects from it, I will let you know.

First it was 3 months, then 6 months. The advantage of your argument is that you can always argue the worst is yet to come. Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t. I’ve made my own risk assessment and so has my husband. Your own is yours to make, as I keep repeating.

            2nd response to Greenalba

Thanks for The citation you provided, but it is a NEW RELEASE from Pfizer; I would like to see their DATA, RAW Data (which they will never release externally).

FYI: Early in my 30+ yr medical career I worked, with my department colleagues, with several major Big Pharma Companies on neuro drug development. What I saw astounded me: requests and then demands to fake data, requests and then demands to alter data (to latter find out it was for reasons of covering up side effects, including diabetes induction), and constant lies massaged as advertising and ‘consumer education.’ This was the typical, not the rare or occasional mode. I have not taken grant money from any pharma for the last 20 years and never will again. I don’t even buy stock in pharma, despite having the knowledge to do so, as I don’t want to be reincarnated as an intestinal worm or worse. 🙂
Believe them at your own risk. I have pharma stories that would blow your mind.

ALso, I said 3-5 months; who knows, maybe a year or two for full effects to be seen. I don’t know for sure and neither do the big pharma guys. 3-5 months was an off the cuff guess. Also I don’t trust their data on adverse effects. Reread above.

            I meant NEWS RELEASE

          • GreenAlba April 5, 2021 at 1:40 pm #

“And everyone is not OK. There have been plenty of “unintended side effects”.

I’m aware of that, HM. Seven people here have died of blood clots, out of 14 million vaccinated with the AZ vaccine.

But if you add some zeros to that you’ll get the number who have died from blood clots from Covid.

With the actual disease, people on here were fond of citing percentages. With the vaccines, not so much.

But like I said, I remain watchful. I was before I was vaccinated and I continue to be so afterwards.

            neurodoc

I pay attention to your posts more than to most of the non-medics on here when it comes to medical matters. That includes the one where someone asked you why the US had fared so badly with Covid compared to other countries and you said, among other things, that fewer Americans would distance or wear masks. Too many descendants of Scots, you said! I could find it but it would take me a while … We could always claim you were joking I suppose.

Anyway, I digress. I am not a devotee of Big Pharma and have been wary of them since way back in the 70s when it was absolutely de rigueur for students to be so.

But in individual cases, one has to make one’s own risk assessment, which is what I did.

          • GreenAlba April 5, 2021 at 2:02 pm #

            Yohannon

I have not obliged anyone to volunteer for the clinical trials; nor have I ever suggested anything other than that people should make up their own minds and make their own decisions.

Further, I have not only said I oppose indirect coercion but I have taken at least some small actions to oppose it, in my own country. I have even argued with members of my own family who mind it more than I do. I intend to voice my opinion further, to my political representatives.

I am entitled to make my own decisions and assess my own risks, as are you.

          • GreenAlba April 5, 2021 at 2:03 pm #

That should have been *mind it LESS than I do*.

          • SW April 5, 2021 at 3:27 pm #

@neurodoc — I agree with what you said about the vaccine and know it’s actually impossible to know if it’s safe or not within this short time period.

Even knowing this I took the shot b/c my daughter lives in England & it’s only a matter of time before they demand you’re vaccinated before they let you in. So the choice was take my chances and hope it’s just some form of normal saline or risk being unable to travel to see family.

“First it was 3 months, then 6 months.” – GA

What you say in mockery of the vaccine critics sounds oddly familiar.

Oh yes, that’s what TPTB said about how long we would be in lock-up; how long in masks. But the time kept getting extended. Every promise ‘to get back to normal’ has been broken. But of course, they always have a good reason.

            Here’s a couple headlines:

WHO warns it could take up to 5 years before the coronavirus pandemic is under control

COVID-19 will be ‘with us for the next 10 years’, warns vaccine chief

So, the authorities who love us so much and never lie are going to milk this as long as they can or as long as flu bugs prowl the earth..

But the docile and gullible grow fewer as time passes. Maybe that’s why THEY are in such a hurry to pump us full of mystery juice.

They are already setting up the hesitant to take the blame for the vaccine disaster.

Thank you, Yohannon, and I acknowledge that you’re being fair.

Whether it turns out to be a poor decision for others, including myself, we will just have to wait and see. In the meantime I’m looking forward to getting back to normal and helping my local businesses get back on their feet.

“Oh yes, that’s what TPTB said about how long we would be in lock-up; how long in masks. But the time kept getting extended. Every promise ‘to get back to normal’ has been broken. But of course, they always have a good reason.”

I don’t recall ever disagreeing with you about that. It doesn’t change my point. Whether the vaccines are ‘really very safe’ or not, you can keep extending your time frame, unto the next generations etc. etc., if you so wish. No pharaceutical product is ever 100% safe for 100% of persons, since every human is a unique organism. Risks and trade-offs are the order of the day. But I fully respect your right not to take any vaccine that you don’t want.

I asked for no lockdowns, and, like most people, assumed the first two weeks was going to be it. Then that the first whole month was going to be it.

Personally, I’d be happy for the whole mask thing to stop as soon as everyone over the age of, say, 40, has had the opportunity to be vaccinated. Not been vaccinated, just had the opportunity. I could be selfish and say it’s fine to get rid of them now, since I’m all right, Jack (almost).

I continue to wear a mask for about five minutes every other day, in a shop. I’m sorry your experience has been more oppressive. And we don’t do doubles, as far as I can see, not that I pay that much attention.

Yesterday I saw a letter in the Telegraph from someone claiming they’d been responsible and got the vaccination, and wanted to be able to go to sports venues, concerts and the like without having to be beside the unvaccinated (aka less responsible).

I don’t get that lunacy any more than you do. I got vaccinated so that I can go wherever I choose, among the vaxxed and unvaxxed alike. I’ll even hug them, like a latterday People’s Princess with a leper or HIV sufferer. 🙂

          • MaryV April 6, 2021 at 11:16 am #

@neurodoc, thanks for your input. I have other friends who work in the pharmaceutical industry that mirror what you are saying. One runs drug trials, and so she is aghast that they found a way to put an experimental drug out to test on the public.

And speaking of that, today a facebook friend reports that, pressured by her husband and his family, she got the vaccination (am trying to find out which one). She woke up on Easter Sunday with Bell’s Palsy, which is mostly not permanent but can be. She is paralyzed on one side of her face.

We truly need a high court for these war crimes. They are literally violating the Nuremburg principles by experimenting on the public – for profit.

Scurrying about at his feet are various servants, one being a weasel-like creature who could only be “Dr.” Fauci.

Early on in the mass hysteria, I recall seeing a photo of a guy on a beach with no one else around him, I think he was paddle-boating, and 3 officers came up – without masks – and arrested him.

So, because of the ‘deadly pandemic’ a guy out in nature near no one else, was grabbed by 3 other people, and then put in a cell with countless others.

            What’s a fomite?

I lived in Portland when they made a huge deal about banning plastic bags, though East Asian food stores still had their own. Then they quietly started brining in bags back. Anytime I asked people why, they seemed confused, as if it was a strange question. As if there was no other reality than the current mediated hysteria.

Discarded masks are killing wildlife now. Hysteria or Truth?

@Yohannon, a fomite was the early form of covid spread. It came and went, just as most of the fake science that changes daily does.

Fomites were spread by hand, and first they could climb into water pipes, then they could live on bags, and that’s why they stopped letting people bring their own bags to stores, and snuck the plastic back in. Absolute garbage ‘science’.

In my neck of the woods Corvids roost in trees waiting to pounce on unsuspecting Karens. They are crafty little buggers, able to morph at will from the size of mosquitos to a nano-size particle that is anywhere from four times smaller than the pores in a N95 mask to 1,000 times smaller than the openings in a balaclava.

Against such a shape-shifter enemy muzzling the entire Western world, conducting elections where the leaders don’t even have to pretend that the outcome isn’t manufactured, loosing 9 trillion $ in lost productivity and creating a permanent opioid-addicted under class is a small price to pay for opening the door to the Brave New World.

Compared to the inertia and anomie that characterizes leadership on this side of the border, America is now a model of order and level-headed leadership. Case in point, while American leaders are moving heaven and earth to get vaccines into the arms of Americans in an orderly fashion Canadians are being subjected to another round of heavy handed lockdowns that even the medical community unanimously agrees is going to be marginally effective at slowing down the spread of the newer and deadlier Covid19 variants. Our ICU wards and emergency wards are filled to capacity with younger and healthier adults who have contacted the newer variants of coronavirus including the South African and Brazilian strains while mass vaccination sites in places like Toronto and Montreal are closing due to the lack of vaccines. The useful idiots that we call a national media keep trumpeting the federal government’s lies that enough quantities of vaccines will be arriving soon but we’re getting nothing but a trickle. A conversation I had with a fellow my age yesterday pretty much sums up our dilemma. “You know I’m so damned bitter I do everything I can not to think about it because this is the closest this country has come to Communism in my lifetime”, is what he said. I’m 54 years old and this fellow was a few years older.

A John Hopkins study showed that there has been no increase in deaths – they are just playing with categories, labelling the flu and pneumonia (the way many elderly die) as Covid.

You are still in love with your chains if you want to become a vaccine (it’s not a vaccine) pincushion. The “vaccines” are already outdated according to official (lying) sources.

If that’s true than why has the average age of people with the novel corona virus in Canadian ICU wards fallen from 80 to 53? Why are ER doctors unanimously telling the public that nothing less than a full-scale shutdown of the Canadian economy will prevent our health-care system from collapse? Do you know something they don’t? I talk to front-line workers at my place of employment every day and they are all telling me the same thing to a person: they are all burned out from the responsibilities of dealing with all the new corona virus cases and want everyone to know that the new corona virus variants are a lot more prevalent and deadlier than we think and to please follow the experts advice and limit human contact as much as possible.

          Hortonz

1- mRNA shots (as manufactured by Phizer & Maderna) are not vaccines) as measured by any definition of the word used before the Covid19 pandemic began.
2- They have never been approved as vaccines except for experimental emergency use. That status was granted by suppression of existing alternative treatments using fraudulent studies and methodologies backed up by a massive propaganda campaign.
3- All mRNA shots are illegal according to US law which requires testing and verification.
4- Millions of Americans (and Canadians) have been seduced into acting as test subjects without their knowledge or consent. If the US were a country of laws they would join together to form the largest class action law suit in history.
5- The USA refuses to recognize actual vaccines (like the Russian Sputnik V) as the basis for “fully vaccinated” individuals. Instead it uses the experimental gene modification mRNA shots as the only basis for returning some of the rights of citizenship in the form of “vaccine passports”.
6- None of the millions of mRNA experimental test subjects are fully vaccinated.Nor will they ever be until they receive an actual vaccine.

‘while American leaders are moving heaven and earth to get vaccines into the arms of Americans–”

Hortonz, please stop spreading disinformation by referring to gene modification shots as “vaccines” You should ask yourself why the Malignant Overlords south of the border are moving heaven and earth to inject as many as possible before the reality curtain falls and they are only left with passive Canadian musk oxen to jab.

      • ThorsHammer April 5, 2021 at 2:47 pm #

The problem with using masks and certificates to separate the sheep from the unwashed is that they are too easily bypassed.. One need only to don a mask and chant the approved mantras and nobody will be the wiser. And the market for fake passports is due to explode as the Cartels with billions of dollars in accumulated profits look for a new source of revenue.

The solution is a permanent Woke branding system. I suggest a K burned into the forehead of all females who carry the mRNA genetic modification and an S for their compliant male counterparts. For the refuseniicks destined for the uranium mines and gas ovens a R on the forehead is appropriate.

            What an asinine deduction, Redneck.

The point is that the federal government is currently ramming through legistlation to federalize election procedures, and cement things like mail-in ballots with ever-extending due dates and blurring voter ID requirements (picture ID, signatures, etc). Georgia is merely circumventing this coming change in advance.

And the argument calling it “voter suppression” is not completely wrong, as it will suppress the votes of those *that are not allowed to vote by law anyway*. Other than that, it’s nothing more than a Brian Stelter sideshow gag.

          • Redneck Liberal April 6, 2021 at 6:32 pm #

            Mr. Mango

What you say may or may not be so, but JHK didn’t go there on this point. He implied quite deliberately that the Georgia Voter ID law is ‘new’ and that the corporates who object to all the OTHER shit the GA GOP is implementing are actually objecting to Voter ID. Clearly, this is not the case.

          • Redneck Liberal April 6, 2021 at 6:34 pm #

Mr Mango – as posted below, but here again for your edification:

“Consumer-driven corporate America is increasingly throwing its weight against the new voter suppression measures across the country. While MLB and Coca-Cola are out front on the new Georgia voting law, American Airlines, Microsoft, and Dell are all opposing the new Texas voter restriction measures. These corporations are focused on those Americans with buying power, and on those they predict will have that buying power going forward. When they take a stand against voter suppression laws, they are making a bet that the future of America is moving away from the Republicans toward a more inclusive society.“

Well I have a little different take on it for what we are receiving is what we have dished out to others for so many years, war and more wars as we tried like the old Roman Empire that we are based on to bend the world to our dictates, our looting of any and everything that’s of any value no matter how many lives it took or cost or who they belonged to and the American people went along with it as long as their space wasn’t violated. Now perhaps they will learn a great lesson, but only time will tell as they will beat the drums of war to try and save what can’t be saved..

I would be very much in favor of prosecuting the murderers and looters–the real perps. They have names and addresses. Any, by the way, I am not one of them, and neither are the vast majority of other Americans.

Something else has awakened in this land: a recognition that we are in serious trouble, that our adversaries are having their way with us as we act stupidly, that we have become our own worst enemies, that being insane is not a virtue.”

Hoping upon hopes this is true, that we will soon hit Peak Wokery, and the hysteria will evaporate. For those of us working in education, it’s doubly painful and torturesome, to hear the wokies droning on about how horrible white people are, and that BIPOC (lol) can do no wrong. Insanity.

  7. Lynx April 5, 2021 at 10:31 am #

There are multiple players/power centers capitalizing on this woke hysteria to advance their goals. Covid 19 is the shock and awe and many feel they can use the situation to their advantage.

As John Kerry stated in mid Nov, immediately after the election, “”And yes, it [the Great Reset] will happen,” Kerry continued. “And I think it will happen with greater speed and with greater intensity than a lot of people might imagine. In effect, the citizens of the United States have just done a Great Reset. We’ve done a Great Reset. And it was a record level of voting.” Kerry later argued that the Great Reset is necessary to slow the “climate crisis” and that “I know Joe Biden believes … it’s not enough just to rejoin Paris [the Paris Climate Accords] for the United States. It’s not enough for us to just do the minimum of what Paris requires.”

Note these comments were immediately after the election and nothing said during the election. The great deception. I suspect the elites want to keep America in “shock and awe” as the implement “The Great Reset”. Not just America, look up comments by Trudeau in Canada and the Prince of Wales. Look up Merkel’s comments on the Great Reset.

While the elites move forward with their goals, others such as the hard left have their own goals which the elites dismiss as unimportant and controllable. Well time will tell who will achieve their objectives and whether the country will survive their radical departure from the republic and the constitution.

In a short video showcased on social media, the WEF (World Economic Forum) predicts that by 2030, “You’ll own nothing and you’ll be happy.” Of course, the elites will own everything. And yes, you will own nothing…almost as if we were back in the days of Marxism.

Bad times are here. Better prepare.

Lebron James will be in a GM commercial running during the final 4 NCAA basketball tournament hawking the new Hummer EV. Base price: $125,000.

Now we’re getting down to the crux of it, now we’re seeing what this really is all about.

      • U R IntheVillage April 5, 2021 at 12:48 pm #

I’ve heard a lot about reparations, but I’ve never heard the actual amounts that will suffice. LeBron James couldn’t possibly advocate for GM Hummers unless the ‘repaired’ would be able to easily purchase one or more of these with the granted funds. Every year.

I suspect that any proposed amount that does not allow an approximation of LeBron James’ lifestyle will be considered inadequate.

Q: Will a government-issued ID be required to collect one’s reparations check? If so, do you imagine there would be the slightest difficulty in all persons eligible immediately obtaining such in triplicate, if necessary? If not, I’m in line myself.

      • U R IntheVillage April 5, 2021 at 1:50 pm #

There is no “preparing” with a capital “P.” You can only sit on your porch with a weapon behind sandbags and protect your garden or your basement full of canned food from the hordes of the unprepared for so long before you need to take a nap. And you have to be mentally prepared to shoot a stripling or someone’s grandmother to keep them from stealing a carrot or a potato. Then there’s the problem of corpses rotting on your property.

If you happen to live in a rural area amongst a number of like-minded folks, you might form a mutual protection pact. But medieval cities had walls. And their assailants didn’t have nearly the firepower available today.

A few weeks supply of groceries, water, fuel, etc is prudent for short term problems, but surviving a Hobbesian nightmare in relative comfort is a fiction, IMHO.

Yes – I’ve always admired those who have sacrificed a lot, and poured huge money and time over the years into preparing to live totally off the grid, and with superb self-sufficiency – essentially for decades. Some of what they set up is amazing, in terms of food, medicine, energy generation, water, waste management, pest control – it’s a long list.

But it only takes three or four ruthless desperados with assault rifles or worse, to blow it all away – literally.

Truly a holy book. Part of the New Canon.

Trump knew about the Black IQ. His favorite line against people like Maxine Waters was to call them “low IQ individuals”. But it didn’t stop him from trying to outdo Lyndon Johnson with a new “platinum plan” to put Blacks even more above Whites.

Speaking of hustles, one could feel the palpable deflation of the American Pravda when the perpetrator of the recent attack on Capitol police turned out to belong to the wrong hate group while in possession of a greater than baseline amount of melanin. The news readers were all primed for a white supremacy redux but alas…

Whoever’s hand is up the posterior regions of the cadaverous puppet occupying the WH directed the flags to be lowered to half-staff but nary a mention of the racism™surely inherent in a black supremacist devotee murdering a white cop.

Stories which don’t fit the narrative die quickly, like the black man who brutally beat the elderly Asian woman in NY City. If such a story even gets reported, it’s a one day wonder.

Meanwhile, those unarmed, rowdy, Capitol tourists of January 06 have achieved legendary status. The survival of the Republic hung by a thread that day. Lester Holt still has nightmares. Oh, the humanity!

      • MaryV April 5, 2021 at 11:24 am #

Poor Lester Holt and his nightmares. I do believe AOC has them, too. What a hoot when it was discovered after all her drama and hysterics that she wasn’t even in the building during the so-called ‘insurrection’.

I’m sure Lester has the same nightmares – that Ocasio-Cortez is brutally raped by white nationalist neo-Nazis – but he isn’t…

@hmuller — The man who beat the elderly Asian woman was out of prison on something called ‘permanent probation”. For — wait for it — stabbing his mother to death. How long he’d been out roaming the streets was left out of the story.

The stats on victims of crime who are Asian are 25% white perpetrators, 25% Asian and the rest black and Hispanic and these are probably the result of muggings. But you’d never know it listening to the nightly news.

        • hmuller April 5, 2021 at 3:43 pm #

I suppose the perp’s lawyer could argue it’s not a race related hate crime. His client just hates all elderly women who remind him of his mother. Then the lawyer will plead for the jury to show mercy because his client is an orphan.

Now Dem,Libs can pass any legislation without the Rep,Cons so we now have a one party system.

      That is how democracy works!

One party wins a majority and they pass laws whether the opposition agrees or not. All the “bipartisanship” noise from the minority Republicans is what they roll out every time they lose power. But when they’re in power they ignore and steamroll the Democrats.

It isn’t a one-party system – but there is only one party in power at any given time.

          • Tekapo April 6, 2021 at 5:15 pm #

I think most of the ‘inmates’ up [sic] here think both parties stink.

I don’t buy that – 95% of the political comments on here are against the Democrats (some virulently so … JAZ, benr, etc), and there is only a small minority who cry “A pox on both …”, and an even smaller percentage (like me) who believe they are very similar in their roles and their positions in the political landscape.

The Republicans are far from either a populist or conventionally conservative party, and the Democrats are far from a genuine worker / labor / social democratic party.

          • MaryV April 6, 2021 at 7:42 pm #

Hating the Democrats doesn’t equal liking Republicans.

This is the thinking of a IDPol limited, black and white thinking, mind.

Just as, if someone compliments something Trump did, does not make them a Trumper. And criticizing something Biden does, does not make one a Republican.

  14. SW April 5, 2021 at 11:06 am #

Great article today though I don’t think this insanity is going to end anytime soon. It will take courage on the part of companies and individuals to denounce this and call it out for what it is — vicious intimidation, a willful destruction of truth and a bully threat of violence if the company or victim doesn’t go along with them.

The only thing that will eventually put an end to this is the courage to defy BLM and antifa. As long as the media and the government support the lie that these groups are righteous and justified, it will go on and on.

    • MaryV April 5, 2021 at 11:22 am #

I agree. The capitulation toward any so-called ‘oppressed’ group is now the norm. The logical extension of making everything about race and gender. So we’re stuck now, until a big enough backlash happens.

      • SW April 5, 2021 at 12:01 pm #

The backlash will be labeled a “white supremist/Trump-inspired” conspiracy that must be crushed to make America safe. Look at the zeal in which the FBI pursues the January 6th “insurgents” and their devotion to prosecute them to the maximum sentence.

Look at the all the companies and professional groups that have quaked in silence and fear — the doctors who refuse to challenge the fairy tale they assign sex at birth, the military who refuse to demand their soldiers wear a “baby bump” to be able to empathize with pregnant soldiers, innumerable universities that are one step away from book burning, and even defying the woke mob over Dr. Seuss children’s books was too much for them to handle.

An end to this will eventually come, I just don’t see how exactly.

        • Blackbird April 5, 2021 at 1:03 pm #

“Courage on the part of companies”. You are seeing that now as they undermine their market – the citizens of the US. They are confident that they can turn us against each other, weakening the country (no nation here) and strengthening their brand.

The end will come when “we the people” are too exhausted from killing each other to see the boot coming down on all of us. Or maybe I just need more high fructose corn syrup…

Is it all a freaking plot (yet another) or simply capitalist pragmatism?

“Consumer-driven corporate America is increasingly throwing its weight against the new voter suppression measures across the country. While MLB and Coca-Cola are out front on the new Georgia voting law, American Airlines, Microsoft, and Dell are all opposing the new Texas voter restriction measures. These corporations are focused on those Americans with buying power, and on those they predict will have that buying power going forward. When they take a stand against voter suppression laws, they are making a bet that the future of America is moving away from the Republicans toward a more inclusive society.

I can’t stand the police, and I have ZERO sympathy for any of them.

They’re all fascist tools, and if they weren’t that way before, then certainly with their fascist nazi training they are all that way after.

It will be the police that will put you in the concentration camps and it will be the police that will turn them into death camps. That’s been their history.

People who think the police protects them or will protect them in any way are completely delusional. They certainly haven’t got a clue just from watching the BLM/Antifa riots.

The police will do what they are told by the Vatican mafia, and if that means wiping you out economically and physically, it will be done without hesitation, as it obviously has in many cases.

The police are worse than racists. They are lying thieving nazi psychopaths with a god complex. They have no scruples and like the Roman soldiers/mercenaries of ancient times, the only thing that concerns them is their pay and pension. They will not hesitate for second to absolutely destroy you when given the order to do so.

Not only should Chauvin be frying in the frying chair, so too the entire police force in the country.

No. The same cop who helped patrickd would be the same one to mock and strike a criminal like Christ. It’s the illusion of life. We all play our roles to keep the play going. Woe to the man who wakes up and challenges the script. They tend to get crucified.

Any time I have dealing with cops, I try to remember both sides of it. This guy might risk his neck to save me, and would cheerfully break my neck if told to do so. They’re just Dogs. Neutral. Not their own masters. I love dogs, but I don’t pretend they’re not dogs.

Society demands that we be less than human if we would serve in certain capacities. And to truly rise, one must be other than human now. Not less – other or infra.

Thing about Dogs is that they have marvelous noses that enable them to sense the motivations and fear of the humans they interact with. Unless they have been deranged by previous human encounters, if you present them with an open palm to sniff you will inevitably be greeted with a wagging tail.

          Not so much with cops.

And everybody knows that the human obsession with God originated from a misspelling of Dog.

Akmofo, our views of the police are 180 from each other! I’ve only encountered one cop who was not professional or helpful or friendly toward me. I’m 75, so I’ve met a few. In all the YouTube videos I’ve looked at, I’ve only seen 3-4 that showed outright murders of blacks by cops. All the others, over a hundred, showed suicide by cop. All of those deaths were initiated by the blacks who died, and all of them forced the police to shoot them, or to subdue them to the point of death. They never stopped struggling and resisting arrest, until they died. In my opinion, the police have been the victims when black people forced them to kill them.
The other day, my last police encounter, I had lost my balance when dismounting my bicycle so I could hydrate, and I fell over on the road. A passerby alerted a cop down the road, and he came by to check on me. He was friendly, and I appreciated his concern. He could have checked my ID. but didn’t. I appreciated that, not that I’m wanted for anything, but I appreciate non-intrusiveness.

Shit happens, almofo. I’m 56, have also met a few police over the years living life, witnessing shit, speeding. You don’t have to be a serial criminal to have dealings with police!

You go straight to the ad hominem attack every time, akmofo.

I ask how many US$ does bankrupt US gov’t send Israel each year and you start attacking Canada. That sort of thing.

[BTW Toronto’s condo market is plunging (Gee, who’d’ve saw that coming) but they are not cock-roach infested. Toronto’s condos are on the Wrong side of Supply/Demand but they are modern and clean.]

You don’t have to be a serial criminal to have dealings with police!

            ==

What kind of shit requires someone to constantly be dealing with the police? Why is the police constantly harassing people with their fishing expeditions and thieving from them on roads like highway robbers?

          • akmofo April 5, 2021 at 12:02 pm #

A million dollar 800 sqft Toronto condo is a million dollar cockroach box. It’s obscene. But I guess it’s still better than Hong Kong, where you get 400 sqft for that money. Not surprising it’s like china town in them condos.

          • akmofo April 5, 2021 at 12:07 pm #

            attacking Canada

            ==

Sure. How much money does Canada pay for its defense? Practically nothing! You live on the hog on account of the US protecting you with an $800 billion/yr defense budget. And all you do is ankle bite the US at every opportunity.

          • O.G. Hawkins April 5, 2021 at 12:10 pm #

“I’m 75, so I’ve met a few.” He never said “constantly,” you did.

I remembering deal with cops in 1988 after our tennant in the basement suite had a tree trunk thrown through her bedroom window by her irrate ex-.

I remember NYPD in Harlem one crazy night.

I remember Vancouver PD with machine guns in a Gestapo presence prior to a Dec. 2018 Canucks hockey game.

I remember being the luckiest “odd man out” in a Calgary PD RIDE (drunk driving dargnet) in 1991.

I remember being in the back of Fort Qu’appelle RCMP cruiser for playing our car stereo too loud rolling into town in 1982.

I remember tossing a vile of hash oil into the Paddock as Regina PD grabbed my shoulder in 1985.

            I’m hardly a serial criminal.

People live life and have various dealings with Police.

Your second question is a whole other matter. On that, we agree, Police follow orders, culture and eyes on prize (pay & pension).

          • O.G. Hawkins April 5, 2021 at 12:25 pm #

You sure got a bug up your ass for Canada, akmofo.

Your experience in Toronto codos is very different from mine. I was in GTA for over a quarter century and never saw a cock-roach once.

You’re giving shit for living our lives? We provide USA with a natural resource playground that can be exploited as far as the eye can see. We are their biggest trading partner. We’re the little brother of the baddest ass in the whole school.

We exercise our democracy as much as TPTB will allow. We forward their agenda with our Gay Marriage 20 years before USA, Rainbow parades (ditto) and legalized pot. We have our role.

Again, though, Canada is irrelevant. This is Good v Evil.

          • akmofo April 5, 2021 at 12:30 pm #

            Interesting.

Not one “speeding” ticket or parking ticket by cops making their monthly quota? Not one kettling experience for protesting fascism? Or are these not memorable enough for you?

          • akmofo April 5, 2021 at 12:45 pm #

Maybe the term shoebox will better explain my meaning. You can’t lead a normal life and raise a normal family in a 1.5 bedroom 800sqft million dollar condo. And it is made so on purpose.

So what’s the choice? Live in isolation in an alienating suburb, where the kids are bussed to school and live in isolation with their damn videogames. It’s obscene.

          • Yohannon April 5, 2021 at 12:47 pm #

Where would Israel be without our money? Or is their money?

          • O.G. Hawkins April 5, 2021 at 12:47 pm #

Actually, I remember other encounters than those I quickly recounted. 3 speeding tickets in GTA (1997, 1998, 2005ish). Parking ticket in Regina in 2017. Reporting crime committed against me in Regina in 2021.

There have been other times not yet shared.

So what? That’s Just more proving my point that a man, like patrickd, who has lived his life is likely to have had some contact with police without being a serial criminal!

That’s how ad hominem attacks work. Actually, technically, ad hominem attacks are irrelevantly dismissive but, at least, accurate. You mud-sling.

patrickd don’t deserve that shit. I assume that he’s a fine chap until proven otherwise.

          • O.G. Hawkins April 5, 2021 at 12:55 pm #

I agree with your assessment of the downtown Toronto shoe-box condo market. I landed there in 1992. I left in 2017.

Downtown TO is not for families. Yuppieville. Now that COVID made corporations finally realize that they can have employees office themselves, downtown TO real estate is a screaming short.

They turned all available land into 30- & 40-story condos with P1-P5 parkade underneath. Everywhere! They turned downtown TO streets into bladder-busting traffic creep on Good days.

They were always super nice and I’ve never had a problem.

I agree Pat, last encounter I had with the cops was last week. My nephew was stopped for having an expired license ( he’s not that bright). The officer could have been a dick and cited him and had his care towed. Instead the cop allowed him to call my daughter who called me and we drove down there to get my nephew
and retrieve his car. Cop waited there for about 45 minutes until I arrived. Checked my license just to make sure I had one. A very pleasant young man.

        • beantownbill. April 5, 2021 at 12:57 pm #

About 20 years ago, I was driving with an expired registration sticker on the S.E. Xway. I never received a notice in the mail about my registration about to expire, like I always did in the past, so I was unaware. I noticed a cop car following right behind me for a few miles. Then their lights flashed and I was pulled over. My wife and daughter were in Florida. The cops told me I was driving with an expired license, and therefore was “an outlaw on the highway”, and they had to have my car towed away.

I was pulled over in a sketchy neighborhood on a Friday night. Fine. “Give me a ride somewhere to get out of here,” I said. The cops said no way and drove off, having taken away my car keys. I was left stranded in the middle of nowhere. Luckily for me I found a payphone and called a cab (this was in the days before cellphones were ubiquitous). Also luckily, I had some cash, so I got a ride home. My wife came home on Sunday. We drove to the lot where my car was towed, but it being Sunday, the lot was closed.

On Monday, we drove to the lot, but they said we had to go downtown to get a new registration. So we did, plus a fine ($50?). That totaled around $70, plus I had paid around $15 for the cab on Friday. Then we drove to the tow lot in another part of Boston. They charged me $250 for the tow because my car was in their lot for 3 days. “But you were closed yesterday,” I said. “Tough shit”they said. So I paid the $250. I was too busy to hassle it, and I wanted this whole thing to be over. All together, because the State didn’t send me a notice, I was into them for around $335, plus hours and hours of my time. All the police had to do when they pulled me over was to give me a warning and let me go away.

So pardon me if I have no sympathy for cops.

          • stelmosfire April 5, 2021 at 1:38 pm #

BTB, did you really expect the cop to let you drive away in an unregistered car? He was a dick though, he could have given you a ride. Vinny the tow guy was probably his cousin.

          • MaryV April 5, 2021 at 5:31 pm #

I’ve had expired stickers before, and got pulled over, in CA. But they never towed my car. What state is this?

        • draupnir April 5, 2021 at 1:05 pm #

The very best that can be said for the cops is that they are bagmen for the city and their job is to squeeze out every cent they can get their hands on.

            Yup.

May be unpleasant to remember, but cops are (for the most part) people too. In high school I worked with the (soon-to-be) Police Chief’s wife. She and I got along great, he pulled me over every chance he got.

      PS Akmofo,
      What concentration camps?
As for Chauvin, his knee on the neck is standard police procedure, and it did not cut off either Floyd’s air supply or his blood supply, as demonstrated by his ability to speak and to remain conscious during the time he was restrained. He had complained of being unable to breathe while unrestrained in the police cruiser, before he requested to be put on the sidewalk. His blood work showed three times the lethal level of fentanyl, which kills by disabling the ability to breathe.
      Your post reads like propaganda.

      • akmofo April 5, 2021 at 11:40 am #

        What concentration camps?
        ==

The ones in practically every city where Jews lived in Europe.

You should read a little about what the police did and didn’t do in Nazi Europe.

        • JohnAZ April 5, 2021 at 12:21 pm #

          Akmofo

You really lost me on this one.

You condemn a necessary control on civilization, the police, for what a group of lunatics did in Europe? The Holocaust was horrific, no way around that. Slavery was horrific, no way around that. All slavery, not just Black slavery.

Blaming crazy sociopathic people from the distant past is a good thing, to make sure it never happens again. Blaming people today for history’s stupidity is wrong.

Cops are necessary, and like everything, there are power mad ugly cops. Effort needs to be spent eliminating bad cops.

More effort needs to be spent eliminating bad perps. The evil in our society right now is horrendous.

Hell on earth=living in Portland, Oregon.

          • akmofo April 5, 2021 at 1:07 pm #

            Cops are necessary

            ==

Necessary for what? For writing a report after you’re dead or your business is destroyed? When was it that a cop protected you from something in real time? They are NEVER THERE when you need them.

Jews in New York city have to hire their own security forces because the cops do diddly shit to protect them and their businesses. Why the fsck are people paying huge taxes for? These grossly overpaid and overstaffed scarecrows just burn gas in their cruisers and yapp between themselves all day hiding in some secluded corner.

They have spy cameras at every stop light. They know exactly where trouble it, but you don’t see them. And even if you call, it will be hours before they show and it’s too late to do anything about it. And that’s deliberately so.

The police is a joke and a scam.

          • O.G. Hawkins April 5, 2021 at 1:46 pm #

Jews in New York City, akmofo? Yet you’ve told us that only Israeli Jews are Jews.

          • akmofo April 5, 2021 at 3:09 pm #

In some cases it’s even worse than that, Mr Hawkish. Some already transitioned from being completely disconnected virtual Jews (really non-Jews) to outright Vatican anti-Jews, like Karl Marx or Bernie Sanders. They so completely internalized the anti-Semitic Vatican deceit surrounding them everywhere and at every moment, they became one with it.

The vile incessant selective duplicitous campaign to blacken tar and sully Israel and Jews on the Vatican MSM propaganda outlets is then further maliciously repeated by so-called compatriots that only wish ill will on their fellow Jewish compatriots. Sounds familiar, Mr Hawkish?

Ben claims to be Jewish, but like a frightened little girl he swallows in silence the abuse and the staged lies aimed at turning him into a Vatican anti-Jew. He is so psychologically broken by Vatican propaganda, that he actually argued with me as an advocate of this propaganda. When I showed him how vile ridiculous and duplicitous the argument(s) he presented were, he got angry with me for exposing his stupidity gullibility cowardice and ignorance. You see, I hurt his ego by actually possessing a backbone.

You are wasting your time attempting to rationalize with Akmofo. He is a lefty hater, nothing more and nothing less. Your well-reasoned post is like water off a ducks back to him, and has as much chance of getting through to him as trying to reason with antifa. There are bad cops and there are also not just good, but great cops, and most have the ability to recognize the difference. Only a insanely deranged person would deny the breakdown of law and order in Demoncrap-run cities where the police are not allowed to do their jobs. Akmofo would be better off in Portland with antifa as his thought processes parallel theirs.

/ Burning my tax money on automotive toys inflated salaries and pensions?

/ Ticketing me with fines when they themselves are constantly guilty of the same?

/ Treating the public with complete condescension and the inflated ego of a god on a power trip?

/ Stopping corruption at any level in society, including at their headquarters and by their coworkers?

I said the Vatican is not controlling the world they can’t even control their own corner of the world and people who claim to follow the teachings.

They have input and some sway as a billion people claim to be Roman Catholic yet a vast majority of them take birth control and even have abortions and in some cases are even homosexuals.

Yet Jews control the media for the most part and I suspect have far more influence on shaping peoples reality.

Very simple really. Pederasts are individuals who have committed crimes, and are so identified. They are unique and singly noted.

The term lying thieving murderous nazi scum is somewhat generic in it’s application…it is opaque, and it’s application usually…overly generous. Painting with a broad brush….

You can prove that you are not convicted of pederasty…denying that you are a lying thieving murderous nazi scum is…well, ask Mofo, and his Palestinians…an errant word, an impudent question, a different religion….

Wokery + Covid19 = apartheid, forced vaxxing, and dividing up society into the clean and unclean.

I love the optimism in this article, and I agree, it’s going to run its course. But in the meantime, we have got to be vigilant in standing up against forced vaxxing, and the Covid19 bullshit. Once rights are lost, they are nearly impossible to regain.

The Who Sells Out was a “Ya, Right! As if!” moment of purity (dec. 1967) before their Michelob ad approx. 20 years later. [It’s so insignificant that a Google search of “The Who Michelob ad” yields nothing.

Greed has trumped all in our time. Selling out is now nothing more than Good business. Feast & Feed the Capstone.

      • Blackbird April 5, 2021 at 1:46 pm #

I suspect that the Who sold out at the very beginning of their career. I remember reading a quote (in High Times magazine – or was it Rolling Stone? – back in the ’80’s) from Pete Townshend in which he said (and I paraphrase): “We aren’t just part of the Establishment, we are the Establishment.”

And yet, some great music – at least from the perspective of my boot-stomped, victory-gin-scrubbed mind. A beautiful lie.

        • O.G. Hawkins April 5, 2021 at 1:57 pm #

That brings to mind the conspiracy theory of Laurel Canyon and the whole Hippies guided from Love to Hedonism as a US gov’t operation. Many stars of that era were kids of US military & intel.

Then the whole “Paul is Dead” and The Beatles leading their social agenda at that time in co-ordination with MI5.

          —–

Keith Moon was the Best drummer ever, imho. Kudos to Bonham & Peart but Moon’s hands were lightning fast.

If that’s your kind of music, Blackbird, did you know that you can now enjoy it off vinyl digitally?

O.G., I still listen to the Who (and their Tavistock alumni, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Jethro Tull, etc. – sorry JHK!) even though I may be no more than a cypher to be erased. The accomplishments of BritRock are on par with the building of the pyramids.

I read “somewhere”…. that Pete Townshend considers himself a communist who has profited immensely from capitalism. Well, I’ll give him some points for honesty there.

Had more respect for him when he didn’t try to normalize his kinks.

Interestingly, I think what you’re seeing is a desperate search for and identity. In their quest to “be somebody” in particular, they will decide they don’t like brussels sprouts or call attention to their allergies, or imagine they have something interesting wrong with them, or drink Dr. Pepper so they can “be a Pepper.” They will buy a car or a truck to that end.

They want to distinguish themselves in some way. I think this is mostly an artifact of the sex drive; one seeks attention to attract a mate.

Our society does not encourage people to distinguish themselves by mastering skills or demonstrating compassion or responsibility or by other methods of self-cultivation.

We’re nowhere near Peak Woke, but some are approaching.

    Like Charles Barkley:

“I think most white people and Black people are great people. I really believe that in my heart,” Barkley said. “But I think our system is set up where our politicians, whether they are Republicans or Democrats, are designed to make us not like each other so they can keep their grasp of money and power. They divide and conquer.”

“We’re so stupid following our politicians, whether they are Republicans or Democrats,” Barkley continued. “And their only job is, ‘Hey, let’s make these people not like each other. We don’t live in their neighborhoods. We all got money. Let’s make the whites and Blacks not like each other. Let’s make rich people and poor people not like each other. Let’s scramble the middle class.’ I truly believe that in my heart.”

Peak woke is when people finally realize who is emptying their pockets and stripping away their freedoms.

Made to believe the threat is the have nothings. Not the have everything and never sated.
    More money
    More power

The have nots distracted with powerless working class rubes who the have everything’s told them are racists
    Because of Trump
    Because they’re white.

They won’t let you get fully awake
    They have safeguards for that.

    Who is profiting from this?
    What are they gaining?

This has been repeated in western history for hundreds of years if not thousands.

    • Soloview April 5, 2021 at 12:22 pm #

I agree, Avatar. We are nowhere near the peak for “Peak Woke”. The two Marxists running the country from their Martha Vineyard mansion will not relent until they have it all. The problem of Woke is of course bigger that the Democrats who are “dizzy with success” (Stalin’s famous headline in Pravda in 1930 – Golovokruzhenie ot uspechov – just before the Great Famine in the Ukraine, Kuban, and the lower Volga). It was because the hated forces of counter-revolution, did not have anything left to fight the bolsheviks with. The Republican Party of today is political black hole with no program, despite Laura Ingram’s and Steve Hilton’s assurances that it is a vibrant populist party of workers and middle class. In fact, it isn’t anything of the sort. Trump’s grafting of a few popular policies on fantastic promises, never really sat well with people who hate paying taxes, love sending the peons to fight useless wars with no plan of winning them, are pro-NRA, and never quite lived down FDR’s Social Security, let alone Obamacare. They made Trumpism irrelevant. The president was left with a brand name used by the conservative Swamp for its own purposes. Like the Russian grand landowners and a few big mega-enterpreneurs at the end of the tsarist era in Russia, they don’t care a whit about the common people. They don’t have a clue that their oversized greed feeds into the hatred that builds the Woke project, just as the Russian aristocracy could not figure out where the bolsheviks came from.

        Soloview

        Well said.

The power in this country is elected. 98% of the same folks get re-elected every cycle. If the people are so satisfied with the power structure they have, no wonder it is so corrupt.

Two interesting items relative to the vote.

Why are the anti-ID folks so adamant about a voter proving they are who they say they are? Easy, you cannot manipulate the vote if a one person one vote system is incorporated.

Why was the nationwide rejection at all power levels of the affidavits that US citizens filed against the political machines? It was unanimous! Not a single exception, not one judge said, maybe we need an investigation. Even the governor of Georgia, Kemp, shut down the investigation. I wonder if he regrets that now.

How can one political side have that much power? The answer to that question might give an answer to what is wrong with this country.

        • O.G. Hawkins April 5, 2021 at 2:23 pm #

“How can one political side have that much power?”

Because TPTB want it that way.

Dems v Republicans is Frick v Frack giving the facade of democracy to the Amereekan sheeple.

          That’s how.

      • Yohannon April 5, 2021 at 1:01 pm #

Yes, it is completely disorganized. In the end only half a dozen people stood with Trump – and Trump didn’t stand with his followers. Than Trump appears at CPAC and asks why would he ever leave the great Republican Party. Fatuity to the nth degree.

And yes, the Warmongers didn’t like Trump, nor did the Libertarians. They held their nose and voted for him. But the Warmongers in Power did everything they could to oppose him. The Democrats are the Party of Power and Money now. And the Anti-War movement is herstory.

        • thirdcoastlegend April 5, 2021 at 3:43 pm #

One thing Trump seemed to not quite understand about politics is that, to be an effective political leader, one has to understand that in the political realm loyalty is much more of a two-way street than it is in the business world.

          • Tekapo April 5, 2021 at 5:13 pm #

I don’t think Trump understood political loyalty at all, or the value of building working alliances in DC that endured. Everything was transactional, and it led to his downfall.

He went off and played golf every weekend, with his useless, uninfluential white-shoe-car-dealer buddies. He should have stayed in town and had nice meals with powerful people on the hill.

He didn’t appreciate competence and good performance … he only wanted sycophants and yes-men. Not the first or only leader to have this weakness, but he sure had it in spades.

His choices for cabinet, White House, and the agencies, were pretty disastrous. Too many ideologues and fruit-loops, and not enough pros. Turnover was horrendous.

Even his Supreme Court picks “let him down” – he was like a mob boss who didn’t have the power that he though he had, and he was always vulnerable.

Almost literally, no-one in DC died on a hill trying to save him after November 3 – other than a couple of wannabes like Matt Gaetz.

I don’t buy that the Illuminati wanted him out and deliberately carried out his ouster … so much of what happened can be sheeted back to Trump’s own actions and lack of allies that mattered.

    • Yohannon April 5, 2021 at 12:56 pm #

Well he, they, or you can start by capitalizing White. Why go along with the racist NYT?

Mr Kunstler puts forth the idea that “Something else has awakened in this land: a recognition that we are in serious trouble, that our adversaries are having their way with us as we act stupidly, that we have become our own worst enemies, that being insane is not a virtue,”

I am not sure he is correct but even if he is – and I hope he is – the people sentient enough to make the realizations he suggests are not motivated in the same manner as those obscenely wealthy communists in the Vineyard.

The Vineyard communists are on a mission and until and unless the sentient beings who love liberty can match the zeal and fervency of those communists we as a nation will continue our downward trajectory.

” If I don’t need an ID to vote, I shouldn’t need one to drink, drive, buy a gun, and get on an airliner – not necessarily in that order… ”

Well , once upon a time when a person thought , ” necessity ” they thought of a limited number of things , and those things circumscribed to boot.

Now , ” necessity ” is spun out to infinity , and is open – ended.

    For example ;

Next you will need a document that proves you don’t have a cold.

After that , to acquire that document will require a process so byzantine and / or expensive that at a stroke a good percentage of the population will not be able to acquire that document.

And in an instant a good percentage of the population will be rendered de facto criminals . No robbing a bank , taking up murder as a hobby , or selling coke to kids required.

See how easy that was ?

    • Blackbird April 5, 2021 at 2:05 pm #

Thank you Kesa. In the spaces between my ellipses, that is exactly what I was trying to say – well, sort of….

  22. KesaAnna April 5, 2021 at 11:51 am #

The bar to invoke necessity ought to be pretty high.

The burden of proof to invoke necessity ought to be pretty high.

Instead , now , every time somebody gets a funny feeling in their big toe , millions of others must once again dig down into their pocket to come up with the money to prove that they have not done , what they have not done.

So much for , ” innocent until proven guilty”.

These days , you never even get to the , ” innocent until proven guilty” – part until after you have gone broke , gotten arrested for vagrancy , and been thrown in the jug.

    What fun that is.

    • JohnAZ April 5, 2021 at 12:57 pm #

      Think about this.

      What is an ID for?

It starts with what documentation you need to get one.

Your birth certificate if you are a native borne and your naturalization proof if you are a legal immigrant.

So it provides two things, it proves that you are you, and that you are a citizen of the US, and the state of issue.

That ID buys you the right to certain rights and privileges, including the right to vote. Presence of a warm body in a polling location is not enough to be able to vote, only citizens can vote. Thus proof of citizenship is required, an ID.

That flies in the face of the Dem drive for every warm body having a vote as they know that all, all illegals will vote Dem to preserve their ability to hide out here.

The ID if implemented in a memory data base will guarantee another voting requirement, being able to vote once and only once. One person, one vote. Proper ID tracking will stop cemeteries electing Dems also.

      • Yohannon April 5, 2021 at 1:04 pm #

And how tragic to lose one’s ID or inconvenient to forget it or mislay it! Especially when a Covid Cop asks to see it. Isn’t only logical and humane to have a chip put into your hand that you can never lose, forget, or mislay it? One with all your information on it?

It’s all going to the same bad place, John.

        • JohnAZ April 5, 2021 at 1:33 pm #

Do you believe that citizenship is only a token and is not required?

Why have a country? Why have borders? Why have countries, period?

          What a lovely globalist ideal!

How is your National Socialism going to be enforced in its policies without IDs?

Maybe with yellow six pointed stars.

          • Yohannon April 5, 2021 at 2:33 pm #

Yes, to ID’s. No to vaccines that aren’t vaccines and their passports.

Where do you stand on the passport?

          • JohnAZ April 5, 2021 at 5:14 pm #

            A good question.

Cruise ships and airplanes are closed environments where this crud can explode. I can see the passport as a convenience item, but no a requirement. Sorta like the skip the security line documentation today. Proof of not having the crud needs to be a requirement as it only takes one case to spread it in close quarters. Testing for it is in normal processing now anyway.

Remember cruise ships and norovirus. Same oh. Many cruises ended prematurely due to that stomach flu.

For day to day processing, no passport.

I think it is important for people to realize that elimination of the crud by herd immunity or vaccination or both, such as Sars1 or the Spanish flu removes the power given to the idiots in DC to approve such idiotic ideas.

            One more. Risk vs. reward.

The hospitalization and death rates of the crud are fairly well documented.

The hospitalization and death rates of the 44000 test group and 12000 of the community are also well documented now.

Zero deaths and zero hospitalizations and a 6% new case occurrence rate from vaccinated folks.

Side effects can be unpleasant but is it worth the peace of mind.

If the same mentality existed in the early fifties, we would still have cripples and iron lungs instead of polio vaccines.

It is individual decisions. Risk vs. reward.

BTW, all of our antivaxxers and anti maskers, I have not heard of any of you getting the crud. You must be doing something right.

          • Yohannon April 5, 2021 at 7:18 pm #

        • Blackbird April 5, 2021 at 2:06 pm #

Yes, let’s have no questions, only answers…

      • Tekapo April 5, 2021 at 5:31 pm #

I don’t like the idea of having to produce an ID to vote … it’s all too Third World-y for me – and plenty of US states do not require it. There is almost zero evidence that voting fraud occurs because voters did not produce an ID.

Issues to do with deceased people or those who have moved to another state – seem to be way over-stated.

Anyway Georgia already requires photo ID for voting.

But if you are going to have ID then do it properly – issue a simple Registration Card if you are on the roll, or when you first get on the roll. It is at the point of registration that proof of citizenship should be assessed.

The Registration Card should be good for the whole state, not just the one county. And I seriously dislike the idea that “same day registration” is justified. Election dates are known years – decades – in advance.

The Dems (and GOP) instead should have a voter registration drive months before election days.

        • Tekapo April 5, 2021 at 6:53 pm #

And I seriously dislike the idea that “same day registration” is justified.

Just to add, I strongly support “same day registration” in all those cases where a voter finds themselves not on a roll, and they think they should be, and they have been previously registered.

It can happen for lots of reasons (some the voter’s fault, some the state’s), and the capacity to update or fix your registration, and also vote that day, should be allowed. We’re not talking about thousands of people here.

If you had this much cultural, economic, financial and political power would you simply disappear?

This may be the problem with the opponents of wokeness, they think it is not necessary to organize something outside of electoral politics, they continue to naively believe that the next President, the next Dunham report, the next Attorney General, will save us.

Wokeness is the ideology that fulfills post-modern society’s religious need, that society having largely turned its back on traditional churches while failing to understand that man is a deeply religious creature.

      • gulag April 5, 2021 at 2:01 pm #

You may help to answer the question of why?

What is it about you that makes you so skeptical of wokeness?

It sounds as if your are implying some kind of moral superiority on your part. If my comment is anywhere close to accurate then you appear to be using the same rhetoric of moral preening as the woksters.

It may be time to put aside such status concerns and figure out a strategy for creating solidarity among the anti-worksters in order to defeat them culturally, financially and politically.

No more pretenses–this situation is now too dangerous

          Define Woke ness

A group that does not have power to define social mores and folkways, yet. But they want that power, to tell the other 97% of the society what they want to see. It usually follows ethnic boundaries, or economic ones, haves and have nots. I would bet anyone that the majority of rioters in the country do not have a clue what they are “protesting” against.

In the USSR, 3% of the population, the Communist Party, ran the show.

No one deserves that amount of power. Culture and politics should be separate.

As Alan Ginsburg yelled to the cop, “We’re going to get your children”. He didn’t mean that in merely a pedophile sense, but rather in the general sense of education and culture. And so they did.

All those degrees in gender studies! Useless? No they were creating a new intellectual elite. A Priesthood and Mandarin Class. It worked, building on the sturdy platform of Marxism and Cultural Critique already in place.

I mean you had Red State Republicans paying for this. People who didn’t care what a University taught, only caring about its football team or for their kid to get the degree they needed.

Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.’”

    James:
I know my earlier comment is difficult to digest. Difficult in the same way your commentaries choke the woke. But you, of all people, should know that gagging on truth is no reflection on the truth itself. Intellectual pride prevents me from displaying my Jewish credentials but, I assure you, they are considerable. And anyway:
-The last 6 Chairs of the Fed Reserve Bd. know at least as much about economics as you and Peter Schiff, and yet, the billionaires continue to get richer regardless of plainly disasterous policies that prevail unabated — despite the obvious folly.
-US foreign policy in the middle east makes no sense whatsoever from the standpoint of the people of the US, but fit perfectly, in a short-sighted and desperate sort of way, with the goals of the Jewish state.
These two issues are not Left or Right issues. People of your background, qualitirs and intellect are crucial to correcting this unfolding disaster.
The Pesach story began with Pharoah realizing that he had a problem with Egyptian Jews. Its too old a storytoo oft repeated through the ages to be dismissed as mere gentile depavity.

    • JohnAZ April 5, 2021 at 1:10 pm #

      Two things

All political issues by definition are insolvable. Issues too big or too controversial to be able to be resolved logically.

Politicians are people that have failed in their chosen fields and then use their ability to fool more of the people more of the time to get elected. They are failures, usually with huge bruised egos who use their power drives to the detriment of all of us.

The combination of these two has led us to the state we are at now.

There are no answers in DC only struggles for power. Power people compete with power people, it is their nature, much to our chagrin.

      • O.G. Hawkins April 5, 2021 at 3:31 pm #

Exactly, JohnAZ! “They are failures, usually with huge bruised egos who use their power drives to the detriment of all of us.”

Plus, they are compromised. Each & every one. Many are paedophiles but far from all. Regardless, TPTB have something on all of them. They fight for their role in power knowing that it’s the game between TPTB & the Amereekan sheeple masquerading as democracy.

Dennis Prager, rather committed in his battle against the Woke zeitgeist, listed a few reasons for the latest trend with the Woke crowd:

    a) Further demonize America.
    b) Further demonize white Americans.
    c) Further divide Americans by race and ethnicity.
    d) Reinforce — or create — the belief among Asian Americans that they are widely hated (and must therefore rely on the government and especially the Democratic Party).
    e) Engender ethnic identity among Asian Americans, most of whom have heretofore essentially considered themselves Americans who happen to be of Asian descent.

I believe reason E is the most crucial.

Get everyone to accept and believe they are separate.

He often explains this is done to push the US towards socialism. Not the socialism you have in mind, but the socialism where a small percent are in control of everyone.

They are different. They’re Asians. A Nation by definition is one People with an organic culture, one not imposed from above as say the Greeks and the Roman tried to do to the Jews.

You are a Roman. An Imperialist. And America is now nothing more than a doddering Austro-Hungary full of peoples who hate each other and cultures that clash.

Right now, the answer is no.

      • JohnAZ April 5, 2021 at 5:32 pm #

        You know, you are right.

Think of the USSR and Ukraine SSR. The Russian breadbasket was the Ukraine. Marxists destroyed two generations of farmers in the Ukraine to set up their communes. When that did not work, they allowed a small plot to be given to each farmer to farm his way. Very shortly later, those small plots out produced the communes. So much for Communism.

I offer this idea. Are the communes of Ukraine any different that the manors of feudal Europe? Is neo feudalism just communal farming? Is the lousy performance of the communal farms in the USSR an indicator of what the US would be like under Bernie Sanders mentoring.

        No damn thanks!!!

The Kibbutz was a successful social/agricultural form, was it not? At least by and large? Of course they were/are of a different culture, one more group oriented and very idealistic, patriotic, and often religious. Highly motivated. A self chosen elite if you will – like the early settlers of New England….

          • JohnAZ April 5, 2021 at 9:55 pm #

The Kibbutz is nothing like the Soviet commune.

The state owned the commune, the state defined farming regs, the state assigned people to the communes, there was no chance of “getting ahead” for anyone. Like serfs, later called slaves.

Individualism will always outdo government control, always.

I believe that in the Techno-Feudal Serfdom of the former USA in the 2020s, rural living will be Better than suburban or urban but there will be the capstone living in power & luxury, a support layer below them and 99.x% people thinking, “This sucks!”

BigAg will farm Mr Gates’ land. While Russia under Stalin is interesting, I have witnessed how North American farming has changed circa early 1970s through today. You’ll be extremely fortunate if you can hoe a bit of land to grow vegetables.

Relatively, it does not take anywhere near the man*hours / bushel.

Tractors & combines are technically amazing. Monsanto engineers the seeds. The once beautiful fertile Saskatchewan prairie land (generated from millennia of prairie grass and buffalo pies since the last ice age) is now an empty vessel sponge for the fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides. Massive petroleum products grease & fire it all.

Big Ag is not considered with Stalin comparisons. It knows what it’s doing. There will be lots of sugar-syrupy puffed wheat & soy Goodness for the BRI ghettos in Techno-Feudal Serfdom in the 2020s.* Big Ag knows what it’s doing.

In fact, at the capstone, the same people who run Big Ag also run Big Pharma, Big Oil, Big Media, Big Tech, US Fed, IMF, WHO, CDC, NSA, CIA, FBI … and a partridge in a pear tree. They know what they’re doing. They learned from Stalin. This will be very different than that. They’re gonna put the TOTAL in Totalitarian.

” Interestingly, I think what you’re seeing is a desperate search for and identity.

This brings to my mind this contemporary wrinkle on transexuality.

That is , I thought the idea was to pass as the opposite sex ???

By screaming it from the roof tops , they guarantee that won’t happen.

And then just lately you have the curious case of Ellen / Elliot Page.

It wasn’t as if Ellen Page was into pink dresses and tresses down to her ass and Barbie dolls.

And the fact is she struck me as an aggressive , domineering , controlling jerk when she had a vagina between her legs.

    So what’s different , exactly ?

    The whole thing strikes me as rather like a TV commercial , the message of which is both ;

    ” Hey , look me over ! ”

    and ,

” Now that I have your attention ; Fuck You. ”

    And that is Elliot Page.

Something else has awakened in this land:

Something else has awakened in ME: A really profound understanding that, as the idea of the melting pot / E Pluribus Unum recedes, so does any sort of real American identity. A nation isn’t a piece of ground, or necessarily common bloodlines(though this helps, and admittedly bloodlines ARE usually somewhat related). A nation is primarily a common culture and future. Europeans were able to largely abandon their ancient hostilities and form the White American nation by buying into that common culture, and putting it before their ancestral identities. That idea was America’s “secret sauce” and it is being destroyed.

As identity politics and marxism march on, and as more and more dissimilar peoples move to the territory of the USA, my sense of belonging has receded. I used to see the Blacks, Asians, Hispanics and Jews as my fellow Americans and their “otherness” as a secondary consideration. Much in the same way as I had trouble understanding the former animosity between the various Christian sects. It was a secondary attribute, like class. I see now that I was wrong. Very wrong. Those other peoples don’t see me as a fellow citizen, but an oppressor. My ancestors (both real and ideal, like the “founding fathers”) are not theirs. My values are not their values. My hopes for the future are not their hopes.

Even as I look around at my fellow “Whites”, I see large amounts of lunatic, bourgeoisie, marxists and people with broken families and drug addictions. And so racial solidarity escapes me as well. My people, my tribe, is my family and close friends. They number a couple dozen, and the rest of humanity are strangers to me. I no longer give to charity, I won’t stop to help someone on the side of the road, and I no longer feel guilt about not having served in America’s Imperial wars. I no longer consider myself an American citizen, but a subject of the American Empire. From here on out, it is me and mine. Perhaps it was always so.

    • Blackbird April 5, 2021 at 2:17 pm #

“From here on out, it is me and mine. Perhaps it was always so.” Perhaps there was a time when we though different. Perhaps we can rediscover that spot and rally ’round it.

Are they so stupid to not realize they are being played by the CCP? The Chinese are busily developing interior capability to replace all products they get from the USA. You foolish corporations are going to find out the Chinese do not want you at all. They are expanding westward rapidly to the ME, Europe and Africa where they already dominate. Beautifully crafted first paragraph in how you show the doublethink emplyed to show the racism and lack of consitency the woke is actually using with this ID example. Brilliant ID isomer you reveal here. It is OK for the capitalist system to demand all of these requirements and restrictions by us to play their game or have the privilege to enter their world, use their products and services, but we should use the same logic for something even more important where transparency and fairness for the votes is considered wrong. It is funny how the things they choose or the path they take reveals where they are tricking, screwing us: deligitimise a fair voting system and at the same time they try to keep us away from knowing about all the manipulation of the past election. It is similar to how they increasingly prevent us from using petroleum (via, for example, high prices, shaming or taxes) but do not look at the effects of their own industries, lifestyles, systems they set up for the majority which disregard this–even if we put aside the supposed cause of climate change from CO2 and that it is necessarily going towards a warmer world.

ScottAdamsSays Bitchute podcast on April 4, “I’ll Change Some of Your Lives for the Better Today.”

Go to 44:35. Last five minutes of podcast. Something Scott has witnessed is something that if he tells us, “then bad things would happen to me, so I’m not gonna tell you.”

“The reason I can’t tell you is part of the story.”

“If you had told me that it’s possible to witness what I’ve witnessed in the last week, I would have thought that it’s just the biggest conspiracy theory, until I watched it with my own eyes.”

“It’s information related. It’s about what you believe, or about what information you have available to you.”

“I see some people trying to guess, & you won’t guess it. Nope, it’s not angels, nope, not aliens.”

Scott says it’s not in the news, & it’s something that will never appear in the news. Something disappeared he says & “probably only 100 people in the country noticed, but they’re not talking either.”

“Behind the curtain, there’s some stuff that’s just shocking, just shocking.”

I don’t have a clue either as to the specific news he’s referring to. But I can hazard a guess as to the category of “non-news” he’s talking about.

Whether Voltaire said it or not, it remains true, “Look to who you’re not allowed to criticize to understand who rules over you.”

        • MaryV April 5, 2021 at 9:05 pm #

Well, if he said something disappeared… I don’t know. Maybe the other people giving opinions are closer.

Maybe he means the last of our rights. Wouldn’t surprise me.

Isaac Kappy was a Hollywood insider (was in a couple of movies) and he started spilling the beans on who were ped0s and he ended up suicided.

Actually, Tate, I think the quote at the end of your comment is correctly attributed to Kevin Alfred Strom (ca. 1993).

“What were the execs of these mighty companies thinking — these knights of the boardroom, these capitalist geniuses, these moral nonpareils — when they cancelled Atlanta’s turn to host the midsummer All-star Game to “protest” Georgia’s passage of a law that requires voter ID?”

Cancelling this baseball game is just another symptom of an Out-Of-Control Cancel Culture running around the World like a virus worse than Covid.

Cancel Culture is taking a great big eraser to cancel out anything and everything that is (and was)… America. America has always had it’s big virtues and big flaws. But instead of having the maturity to concentrate and focus on correcting its errors while preserving its virtues, the Cancel Culture Creatures just go around all day with their dead eyes bugged out and their arms extended doing their shaming and Karen-ing and erasing of everything that smacks of… America. All of it. Throwing the baby out with the bath water and being proud about it. Feeling all morally superior about it.

One of the greatest evils in life is doing evil and not even knowing you’re doing it. And, being proud about doing it.

“Half the world flipped out at the sight of Derek Chauvin kneeling on George Floyd’s neck at that Minneapolis intersection.”

And these days, the Wokesters have their knees on the Neck of America. They can’t see that they are doing to our Nation the very thing they so claim to detest and abhor when they looked at Mr. Floyd on that street.

America is gasping for its breath. The knees keep on pushing down. And no one seems to be videotaping this monstrous scene this time.
Who will be left to show outrage when the deed is done?

    • O.G. Hawkins April 5, 2021 at 4:05 pm #

Don’t worry, RS. This mess is most definitely being recorded. Every thought, word & deed.

      Get it?

The Wokesters hate America. Hate it with a passion.

Problem they have is that they are too damn stupid to have any better ideas on how to run the ship.

      Witness Seattle and Portland.

And in fairness to Melania, she probably is the most attractive First Lady the US has had – although Dolley Madison – from what I’ve heard – was quite the hottie (and intellectually well-endowed to boot) – although of course, standards change…

        • JohnAZ April 5, 2021 at 8:11 pm #

Melanie speaks eloquently in five languages. I get by with a decent knowledge of English. Most of the press that criticized her during his term do not have the smarts to shine her shoes.

Notable Easter weekend in Chi, 41 people shot, 9 dead.

I know, nothing unusual to see here, but one would think, at some point, everyone available to get shot, already has been shot. But that doesn’t appear to be the case. The supply of shooting victims seems inexhaustible.

This is an old dodge by government–
Remember the HIPAA act? It was supposed to keep your medical information confidential.
So thanks to HIPAA, if you have, for example, Bubonic plague or Ebola, no one is allowed to question you about whether you are infected, and you have to give written permission for anyone to look at your health records, UNLESS–the folks who want to look at your medical info are insurers, any healthcare professional, the police or government.

    Upshot:
Anyone with a deadly disease near you has the right to hide that fact from you, with impunity.
Government and industry has the power to discover your medical conditions whenever they want to, with impunity.
If you blow the whistle on someone with a deadly disease– Say, if you work in a pharmacy and see that someone has active TB but is walking around the store coughing, you will face exhorbitant fines and imprisonment for revealing that fact.

It is much the same with this ID- No-ID business. The internal passports start with COVID, but don’t be surprised if they continue long after as a means to generate computer tracking of our movements. Not that government needs such a thing. They already do it through our cellphones…

    JHK:
What were the execs of these mighty companies thinking […] when they cancelled Atlanta’s turn to host the midsummer All-star Game to “protest” Georgia’s passage of a law that requires voter ID?

Jim, that is such an egregious oversimplification of the issue. “(R)equiring voter ID” is not what is so revolting about this naked grab for electoral advantage through ‘legal’ maneuvers. Restriction of voting hours, reduction in voting places (especially in poorer neighborhoods), reduction in postal drop boxes, making it illegal to provide food & water to those choosing to wait in line for hours & hours to exercise their democratic right.

    • MaryV April 5, 2021 at 6:22 pm #

I don’t get the kerfuffle about no food or water being provided in lines of people waiting to vote.

I bring bags of nuts and water with me whenever I know it might be a long wait (or hike, whatever). It seems a bizarre law, but seriously, can’t people take care of themselves?

“Restriction of voting hours” has been debunked. Doesn’t favor any racial group. Got it. “Reduction in voting places (especially in poorer neighborhoods).” Blacks can’t drive. Got it. “Reduction in postal drop boxes.” Same. Got it. “Making it illegal to provide food & water to those choosing to wait in line for hours & hours to exercise their democratic right.” Debunked. Got it. “Redneck Liberal.” Contradiction-in-terms. Got it.

          • Redneck Liberal April 5, 2021 at 7:32 pm #

Show us all these ‘debunkings’. Even MaryV can’t get the last point…

          • Tate April 5, 2021 at 8:02 pm #

            Two debunkings mentioned:

            1) “Restriction of voting hours”: What, you want the polls open till when? People standing in line when the polls close at 7:00 pm (not 5:00 as has been tossed around by the lying media), still get to vote.

            2) “Making it illegal to provide food & water to those choosing to wait in line for hours & hours to exercise their democratic right”: Partisan campaigners only. Anybody else can provide their food & water. Including the voters themselves.

Poor wittle BIPOCs. So disadvantaged. Sniff sniff.

          • MaryV April 5, 2021 at 8:30 pm #

What do you mean I didn’t get it?

I didn’t even look into the laws (thanks, Tate for doing so). I just opined on how bizarre it is to worry about food and water in a voting line.

“Redneck Liberal doesn’t refute my “show[ing] him all these debunkings.’”

What debunkings? Simply saying “debunked!” does not debunk.

On the first point, you’re wrong. The new law sets the closing time at 5pm, UNLESS a particular county ELECTS to extend that till 7pm.

The second point is moot, because, as you say yourself, partisan campaigning around polling places on Election Day are already heavily regulated.

        • MaryV April 5, 2021 at 8:28 pm #

See, everyone knows that watering the long lines would result in more Dem votes … So GA does it this way and half of America goes, “Un-fucking-Real!” and the other half goes, “Damn Right!”

        • O.G. Hawkins April 5, 2021 at 9:52 pm #

I get it. It’s from a by-gone era when a greenback could actually buy a vote. Of course, a fella could always take the buck and vote however he wanted anyway in a beautiful double-cross, Right?

@GreenAlba (UK) & I (Kanukistan) have never seen a voting line where people have time to get thirsty. I suggested more resources: more school gyms, town halls, hockey rinks.

Americans were like, “Who’s gonna pay for that?”

You’ve got multi-trillion dollar budgets, preach democracy to Earth from behind a gun & drone & missile but some of your people line-up for hours to vote. “Does not compute!”

          • Yohannon April 5, 2021 at 10:00 pm #

Agree. Be generous and shame them into shutting up if possible. Or at least so ordinary people question the narrative. Lots of places of voting – all with cops on duty. Long hours. Water. Help the disabled get to these places, etc.

As long as there are picture ID’s.

          • RocketDoc April 7, 2021 at 12:46 pm #

Some things are hard and some easy. I see these long lines in other States and “touch screen” voting and ask who plans these elections? If there are paper ballots, enough precincts and workers, it goes smoothly, and has in my town for the last 30+years. Of course most voters have no idea who the candidates are or what the issues are. e.g. We vote for district court judges so I have to ask a friend if they are competent.

    • O.G. Hawkins April 5, 2021 at 6:41 pm #

Oh! Don’t get me started on Law that you cannot give thirsty people water! Some yahoo (@Tepako, I believe) informed me that watering thirsty citizens in line to vote could corrupt their vote if the Good Samaritan was wearing a red or blue t-shirt!

    • Tekapo April 7, 2021 at 1:32 am #

RedLib … a lot of those things are egregious indeed.

And requiring ID to vote is on the books anyway. I think it’s most important that they have good electoral rolls, but also same-day registration – so if you believe you should be on the roll and your name is not there – you still get a vote that day, and the registration issue is resolved at the same time.

(However I do not believe that first-time registration should be allowed on election day – the staff are busy enough, and you have 2-4 years to get up off the couch and get yourself registered).

And rather than raising hell about no food & water for those in line (under the guise of preventing “electioneering” – what a laugh) – the real anger should be at WHY anyone should have to wait more than half an hour.

Other democracies – many far less wealthy than the US, and indeed Georgia, manage to hold elections without torturing the voters.

But the really oily, greasy, sneaky, awful law changes are they ones that straight-up allow elected officials (I can hardly believe this) to take over from election officials whenever they like – and just change the results.

It is a naked Republican power-grab – they cannot abide the fact that the Secretary of State was honest and impartial in his management and oversight of the 2020 general election and the special election.

For the good ole boys in their white shoes, this is tantamount to treason, and totally un-American 🙂

Hey Redneck when’s the Border Czar — Heels Up Harris — going to visit the border? Heels Up has been Border Czar for over two weeks, hasn’t even given a goddam speech on the matter. Meanwhile, in March alone an estimated 100,000 illegals have attempted to enter the US.

      THANKS SLEEPY JOE!!!

      • hmuller April 5, 2021 at 11:42 pm #

Is AOC going to pay a border visit so she can weep in front of her camera man and cages full of children – now that Joe Biden put them in there?

      • MaryV April 6, 2021 at 12:50 pm #

POTATUS said, “come on in, people!” and now the kids there are being trafficked, and/or dropped over a 14 foot wall.

But AOC isn’t down there crying, because it’s not Trump in charge any more.

Peak Woke: A thinly veiled attempt to white wash Hunter Biden’s crimes

“Didn’t Joe, essentially, train in a Dixiecrat Dojo? WTF?”

It isn’t clear what you mean. He trained in a “Realism” dojo. Now he thinks “Realism” requires that he disown Realism. But he’s senile. Power corrupts, & absolute Power corrupts absolutely. An old man should not be playing for high-stakes.

Every time I think the woke hysteria has reached its maximum extreme, I am quickly proven wrong. I am currently left wondering if there is an upper limit to the insanity.

Allowing it does soon peak and then collapse under its own excesses, what will be left of our culture?

    • MaryV April 5, 2021 at 8:33 pm #

I’m afraid our culture – if we ever had one – is toast.

      • O.G. Hawkins April 5, 2021 at 9:28 pm #

America did have a wonderful culture. Gary Cooper rode into town and quietly made things Right. A hundred years ago, USA was the shining beacon on the hill for all mankind.

        JFK was the Rubicon.

        • Redneck Liberal April 5, 2021 at 11:28 pm #

Really? Cowboy Movies & Leave It To Beaver weren’t the reality of those times. It’s an illusion to which so many ‘conservatives’ cling.

          • Yohannon April 5, 2021 at 11:43 pm #

People didn’t focus on minorities because they didn’t matter. Healthy cultures are insular and self referential. They are interested in themselves first and foremost, if not only.

It’s good if some bright spirits keep a weather eye out at the rest of the world of course, both for signs of danger or for advantage if someone else comes up with something good.

          • O.G. Hawkins April 6, 2021 at 1:35 am #

Yes, Really. Culture is, in no small part, the art produced. Cowboy movies with Gary Cooper or John Wayne or Clint Eastwood are as American as apple pie.

In culture, art is not hand-cuffed to Reality. Culture is more than a share-cropping documentary.

Culture strives for ideals. Hollywood pandered with quiet, stoic heroes who made things Right with gunfire.

That was American culture. Peanuts & Cracker Jacks at the old ball game and success took elbow grease.

You can belittle it as lacking authenticity but it was authentic to the vast majority of Americans. It was their culture.

          • MaryV April 6, 2021 at 12:53 pm #

The reason cowboy culture was so popular is because the wild west truly existed. And it was even more violent than those shows ever portrayed.

So yes, it’s a HUGE part of our culture – like it or not.

Leave it to Beaver was the quintessential middle class family show, also based upon the growth of the middle class after WWII. Also pretty reality-based.

American stuff is American stuff whether it’s ‘inclusive’ enough for you or not.

          • O.G. Hawkins April 6, 2021 at 1:24 pm #

Gary Cooper rode into town and quietly made things Right.

Actually it was his pacifist new bride Grace Kelly who blew away the bad guy – saving Gary Cooper’s sorry ass. But a mere detail.

          • O.G. Hawkins April 6, 2021 at 1:42 am #

Gary Cooper was in tons of movies. Quiet. Stoic. Do Right against evil and the odds. American culture bigger than life.

What about Canadian Culture then? Combined Canadian and English forces crushed the American imperialists when they tried to take Canada too.

And the Mounties always got their man. A more controlled expansion of course. Settlers weren’t allowed in until the Indians had been pacified. Saved a lot of lives I assume.

And when the non-Whites rioted in Vancouver, Canada cut them off at the knees, declaring Canada a White Man’s country. The United States followed suit.

            American culture bigger than life.

Yeah well … one of the great contributions of unfettered American capitalism between 1870 and 1950 was for many countries to realise that is NOT what the wanted. The Depression was a really big wake-up call.

The welfare state models produced in the UK and much of Europe after 1945 were very good – and they remain being very good. The US could learn a lot. Even having a single-desk national health scheme would be a huge advance.

I agree with you but quibble over your timeline. The 1930s Depression was global. World War II, Leave It To Beaver, Elvis, Roger Maris, The Everly Brothers. Then Ike warned, leaving office, of the military/industrial complex in 1961.

            Then JFK. The Rubicon.

            Dallas 11/22/1963

Then Nixon untethers US$ from Gold 8/1/1971.

9/11/2001 – Madman elite boy, operating from a cave in Afghanistan, makes US Air Defence collapse.

3/11/2020 – NBA suspends operations & President Trump halts air travel to and from Europe.

            That’s the timeline.

I am proud to say that The Father of Socialized Medicine, T.C. Douglas, had this legislation passed in the Leg. Bldg (pronounced “Ledge”) mere “klicks” from me. Socialized medicine is younger than you think. The year following Ike’s warning: 1962.

            That’s the timeline.

I would add three critical factors:

            1. JHK has outlined regularly that American suburbia is the greatest misallocation of resources in history, and I agree, and also that the days of cheap oil are over, and the American way of life will change. No need to worry about “The Great Reset” coming via the Illuminati in Davos – it will come through an energy crisis.

            2. Endless wars, and never-ending incursions into other countries, to bend them to the will of the Pentagon. Central America is a mess … the US caused much of it, like the Middle East.

            3. On-going, hopeless, seemingly intractable issues of race and poverty (and by extension, crime & policing) … I hold great fears for what will occur this summer, and so many inner cities are already wrecked.

I would love to see all the “woke” stuff fade back to a sensible middle – all racism and white supremacy shit – there should still be zero tolerance – but the BLM and all the anti-racist groups and institutions need to identify and address the “real” problems.

Meanwhile, pull down all the Confederate dude statues, and change the names of army bases and high schools if you really must – but they ain’t the big issues.

          • O.G. Hawkins April 6, 2021 at 8:57 pm #

Your logic is flawed. Surely you are not saying that our host, JHK, knows things about an energy crisis that Davos does not.

You are watching the puppet show and you seem to get it. You see the strings. I tell you to look up higher, from our angle – we can see the puppet-master moving the characters with those strings. And you go, “He moved his arm! He moved his arm!”

Your hatred and anger is pretty weird. Isn’t it a good thing that all manner of social, community and institutional bodies are aware of the structural bias against racial minorities?

Isn’t it a good thing that they are inclusive and aware of all that stuff? Your small-minded white nationalism is really showing. Time to really grow up! There is a modern real world out there.

It wasn’t a response to the list (random as it is). It was a response to the notion that if institutions become more aware of issues of social justice and system racism – then those institutions are “infiltrated and destroyed”.

I saw JHK on TV , and he said , ( grossly paraphrasing ) ” just because we can measure something , does not necessarily mean we can control it. ”

That looked like REAL out – side – the – box thinking to me.

    So I wound up here.

And we have maybe two dozen regulars ? But at least one – third of the content is NOT canned 6 o’clock news – type bullshit.

Like , so far , I have encountered in this small group four different people who have apparently not only heard of The Gulag Archipelago , but have read it ! Again , in such a small group !

    This must be the place.

    I rarely or never compliment JHK , so ;

He has wittingly , or unwittingly , given me roughly two years of free publicity.

    So I’m happy.

    ” I said it before. She’s really a poetess. ”

I read Solzhenitsyn in high school(late 60s): A Day in the Life, Cancer Ward, First Circle, August 1914. I have never read Gulag. When he came to America in the early 70’s he said USSR was bad but USA might be worse–superficial. At the time I thought he was insulting us, the people who took him in… I later reflected on his criticism when he went home and thought it sadly accurate…..But no one with any sense then wanted to actually live in Russia.

We had 5 Soviet State Dept visitors in 1988 that stayed with us for a week. They brought empty suitcases and went to K-mart to buy as many Levi’s as they could…. The Russian ARE great writers though. I told my children they had to read Dostoyevsky and Tolstoy. At least 1 listened…..

I recall a student mega-party in about 1972, and – no bullshit – Princess Anne and the lusty Russian Poet Yevgeny Yevtushenko were in attendance. It was a good event – on the waterfront, with a couple of rock bands and big motor launch to cavort upon.

Germans and Russians were nice to me and I have not forgotten. I imagine because I was young, like them, and the USA was a magical place that allowed me to be where they were, while they knew the opposite was true. You have a unique perspective on America…..

The Black Americans may not have any self-awareness as to what they are doing? They may just be mindlessly “Wound Up” by Social Media? No normal, self-aware human being in his right mind would, with self-righteous indignation, storm an Asian Nail Salon…. The Americans’ mental and spiritual universe of fat people shopping and eating in the local Shopping Mall may have been disrupted by straitened economic circumstances?

I wonder if they know that they’re wearing black leather and shouting belligerently in an Asian Nail Salon? I wonder how many Americans really know what they are doing and whether it makes any sense?

Tom diet Pepsi products also use aspartame.
Another “diet” sweetening product is derived form turning sugar into a form of chlorine molecule don’t that sound yummy!

How is sucralose made? Sucralose is made through a patented, multi-step process that starts with sugar and selectively replaces three hydrogen-oxygen groups on the sugar molecule with three chlorine atoms. The result is an exceptionally stable sweetener that tastes like sugar, but without sugar’s calories.

This interesting. Doctor had Covid and has the antibodies to prove it. He doesn’t want to get the shot because he fears an extreme immune response and beyond that, he simply doesn’t need it and resents being pressured and threatened.

He says, They say to wait 90 days after your illness to get the shot. Why? Where are they getting 90 days from? If natural immunity (always the best) lasts only 90 days, then why should the shot give more than 90 days?

Or do they plan quarterly boosters? He says Johnson and Johnson isn’t a mRna shot, but when I looked into it, it sounded like it was a different way of attaining the same thing.

Google “the great reset” and you’ll find globalist elitist talking openly about it.

And do you know why they talk openly about it – because it is no secret, it is a set of very positive principles, and the so-called “global elite” are not hidden in the Illuminati Castle – they are responsible to shareholders, global agencies, their own governments, and voters.

The Great Reset is a big discussion about how capitalism can work or should work in the post-pandemic, post-BLM, post-#MeToo, and much else, world.

It also discusses the real threats of financial crises, energy crises, wars, and much else. Does not your host JHK also talk about these things, and that life must change?

I would add global warming, over-population, desertification, and the movement of millions of desperate people.

Many of the big agenda changes they are talking about many people would agree with. No need for tinfoil.

          • hmuller April 6, 2021 at 7:49 pm #

Tekapo, above you wrote: “Your whole Great Reset agenda is just a projection … it’s what you would really like. We sensible normal people just carry on with our lives..”

To me this sounded like you dismissed the reset as a conspiracy theory unbacked by fact. Now you say it’s real; of course, we all see it..

My point is that the globalist elite have a whole lot of harsh plans for the future of the world’s common people. To a large extent they’ve openly published these plans. Then people like you come along and deny it all.

For example, take the Georgia Guidestones calling for a world population cap at 500 million. Will you admit the Georgia Guidestones physically exist on planet earth? Will you admit they represent the goal of (at least a part of) the globalist elite?

I can never be too sure what you’ll admit as fact and what you’ll deny as being merely my fevered imagination.

          • Tekapo April 7, 2021 at 3:42 am #

To me this sounded like you dismissed the reset as a conspiracy theory unbacked by fact. Now you say it’s real; of course, we all see it..

Well yes … I dismiss “the Great Reset” as if it’s some vast Illuminati conspiracy in the sense that Night Owl and MaryV see it, where the millions who survive the cull wind up as serfs on the globalist plantation – yes – that is all complete apple-sauce.

I think it’s a GOOD thing that the “global elites” are thinking and discussing all this stuff. There are very real reasons why Business as Usual (BAU) – the great creaking oil-driven Capitalist Machine – can’t go on forever.

I sometimes really wonder why certain people are on this forum at all. JHK talks constantly about the Turning and much else – and that despite Rumsfeld or whomever – the American Way of Life is indeed very much negotiable.

Reality is going to make it so. I’m with JHK on all this – what happens in Davos is a sideshow, but so many on here absolutely obsess over it. Reality checks are good.

The Takeapoo troll has been taken down yet again.

          • hmuller April 7, 2021 at 10:18 am #

Lest there be any doubt – the globalist billionaires will have an even bigger share of the pie after a global reset. The rest of us – not so much.

Tekapo once complained about not being able to earn interest on his life savings in the bank. For once we agree. I think that’s a terrible thing.

It is not; however, some natural phenomenon that blew in on the solar winds.

The globalists and their central banking cartel are now creating currency ad infinitum, destroying the middle class, destroying small businesses (via covid lockdowns), artificially dictating zero or even negative interest rates.

THEY are reducing the currencies to no value, Hey, everybody loves that free money, keep sending it; what could go wrong?

THEY want to bring in a new worldwide digital monetary system (totally controlled and surveilled). If you buy a pack of gum, they’ll know it. This is open source and admitted.

If I tried to explain this to Tekapo in any detail; he would dismiss it as more crazy conspiracy talk. What the rich and powerful decide behind closed doors – a trifling irrelevancy!

            A rock cannot be educated.

If I tried to explain this to Tekapo in any detail; he would dismiss it as more crazy conspiracy talk. What the rich and powerful decide behind closed doors – a trifling irrelevancy!

It is crazy conspiracy talk, for all the reasons I have articulated previously. These include lack of real power held by these gnomes of Zurich, huge jealousy and mistrust between all of them, factions, and much competition between the powerful.

For every zillionaire who wants the US Dow or Dollar to crash, there are five others who do not want that to happen. It is not a neat little PTB / cabal / Illuminati package.

Our host JHK recognises this – he is always reticent to go too far down the loopy conspiracy rabbit-hole … he knows full well there is a lot of craziness and un-controllability in the system.

The COVID narrative as an occult work of art Mar
by Jon Rappoport, the no more fake news blog

    March 24, 2021

Readers who have been with me the past year know I’ve dismantled every piece of the official COVID narrative. Factually. Scientifically.

I knew from 30 years of experience—investigating HIV/AIDS, West Nile, SARS1, Swine Flu, Ebola and Zika—what to look for in the fake COVID science.

I also want to look at the COVID narrative as an occult work of art. That is, it embroils the uninformed person in an initiation of sorts, with the promise of a final revelation and rescue.

Occult initiations are mysteries, in the sense that the believer is fed steps and procedures which he can’t fathom, or only partially understands.

This is purposeful. The believer’s imagination is engaged without him knowing it. He attributes meaning to factual gibberish.

But no one wants to find out that the images and speculations he is entertaining are empty and barren. HE PREFERS to think a ceremony is highly charged and, on some level, is important to him.

Thus, at the beginning, when “the virus is discovered,” and the initiation is introduced, the believer’s imagination clicks, and he senses he is on a new track of experience. He is entranced:

This is not ordinary life any longer. This is different. Fear, interest, excitement, anticipation are all available. Which are exactly what occult initiations are supposed to provoke: the magnified sense of possibility. The Ordinary is gone.

“Researchers have found a new virus, which is causing an outbreak.” Found a virus? What does that mean? The virus has been isolated. What does that mean? The virus has been sequenced. What does that mean? The believer can automatically apply his own images and thoughts and sensations and feelings to this mystery.

And indeed, the whole “virus discovery process” HAS been conducted behind closed doors, in high-security facilities, in a sanctum where only the priests can operate. Because they possess the magic.

    They have found the enemy.

Next comes a new piece of magic. The test. The priests have devised a highly complex system of amulet arranging and rubbing, in order to detect the presence of the virus in a human.

How did they accomplish this, and so quickly? Through AMPLIFICATION. The essence of the specimen taken from the patient—in itself an initiatory step—is so small, no microscope can register it. But through a successive series of “doublings,” the specimen is transformed into a visible object.

And the believer will take this (PCR) test. Another step on the road.

Minor priests will announce the outcome of the test to the believer. Positive or negative. Now the meaning of “the virus” sinks in: infected or not infected. Either way, the initiation is proceeding.

If infected, there will be potions. “Anti-virals.” Ventilators, to bring what the believer may not be able to provide himself: the breath of life.

And yes, one possible outcome is death. This is no superficial initiation. The stakes are high, very high.

We come, of course, to the mask. The believer’s identity will be protected. Masking makes one an anonymous member of a very large group—all of whom are undergoing the same ceremony and enforcing it on others. Secret society.

Masking, traditionally, is for criminals as well. (The thrill of the outlaw.)

Masking also erases identity. The believer can find (imagine) a new persona.

Masking includes a sense of sacrifice. “I eliminate who I was, for the Cause.”

Masking introduces touches of humiliation, guilt, and pride. All standard elements of initiation.

Distancing provides “necessary isolation,” so the initiatory process for the individual can proceed unhampered. Distancing (like masking) separates the Clean from the Unclean.

The lockdown is further isolation. Removal from the influences of the outside world and its distractions. “The monk in his cell.” Great sacrifice of the means of financial support, in order to attain purity. Renunciation of ordinary work (employment) for a higher purpose; purification.

And finally, rescue and revelation—the vaccine. The injection. The transformation of cells of the body, which now produce a protein that stimulates the action of the immune system; a protein that under ordinary circumstances would never come into being. Miracle.

Immunity and purity are attained. Elite status is won through enduring the whole preceding ritual. A document (wellness certificate) is created and recorded. The initiate can now reenter the world. He is made anew.

If he suffered from the injection—well, that was part of what he needed to endure. If he died, that, too, was “worthy.” A sacrifice on the altar of The Group.

Of course, this COVID initiation isn’t meant to be a CONSCIOUS occult ceremony. The person isn’t meant to know he is in a cult. He senses glimmers and rivulets of ritual. He swims among them. He knows very little, but he FEELS.

As with every occult process, reality is created for him. The whole purpose of the steps on the ladder to redemption is: the quelling of the person’s own creative fire, by which he can invent his own future, freely.

In effect, the cult artists say: “You don’t make your own painting; our painting makes you.”

Through the pretended “science” of virology (fake isolation, fake sequencing) and the pretended “science” of vaccinology (fake immunity), the State—which is already an authoritarian entity—becomes a Cult.

Prior law (the Constitution) is ruled out; it is anathema. It didn’t account for the new great enemy: the virus. “Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty” is replaced: “The eternal virus demands the curtailment of liberty.”

“Science” is the cover story that conceals the occult hypnotic inducement.

Yoho: Right belief has replaced healthy debate and tolerance for diversity of opinion. Of course not all opinions are equally valid. They’re right about that. But they’ve chosen all the wrong opinions to make into holy writ on just about everything.

Believing in Science is not understanding it. And it in itself is far from fixed on the issue of viruses and disease. Much healthy debate and experimentation remains to be done – but financial and political interests won’t allow it to be.

    • SoftStarLight April 6, 2021 at 3:30 am #

And again the lines between Science and Religion become blurred and the two become difficult to distinguish. Though alchemists are likely far more ethical and hippocratic oath oriented than the experimental vaccine manufacturers. But who will administer the scales to weigh them?

      • Tekapo April 6, 2021 at 5:43 am #

And again the lines between Science and Religion become blurred and the two become difficult to distinguish.

I disagree. The lines between science and religion have been sharply drawn since at least the 15th-16th centuries.

As soon as Copernicus and Galileo worked out jhow the Earth (and the other planets) revolved around the sun, Christianity was very seriously wounded. I took until the 1860s (and Darwin’s theory of evolution) before it was declared completely and utterly dead.

Anyone who hangs onto a minority cult from Judea 2000 years ago is probably in need of professional medical help.

        • hmuller April 6, 2021 at 8:31 am #

For most people the search for meaning in life involves more subtlety, more complexity than what you wrote, Tekapo. But if that ham-fisted caricature represents the summit of your understanding, so be it. And you mock others as simpletons, LOL

        • SoftStarLight April 6, 2021 at 10:23 am #

Darwin’s theory is still just that. A theory. So I think that the only place that Christianity is seriously wounded and dead is in your own head. Since there are billions around the world, including in your favorite most treasured worshipful continent of Africa that consider themselves Christian I do actually wonder who is in need of professional help. But I do realize that your cult is definitely very interested in destroying all opposition. That is very factual and well documented indeed.

        • JohnAZ April 6, 2021 at 11:37 am #

Your ego again astounds. You just cannot believe that there is anything bigger than you. Science is moving closer and closer to proving the existence of God. Even the most progressive physicists acknowledge they cannot explain why we exist, why anything exists without a creative source.

Is the force human-like? Nope! What is it? Who knows?

All I know is that the Creator has interfaced with mankind to make us who we are.

          Including your ego.

Please feel free to believe anything you wish – ’tis a free country … fairies at the bottom of the garden, the meaning of gazelle bones and tea-leaves, Donald J Trump walks on water … human beings are a special species … anything you like.

I don’t care much – but I do care a great deal when organised religious types want their “laws” to apply to everybody, like the Muslims do, and like many Christian Nationalist want for America as well.

I also care a great deal when religious types hide behind their “laws” to disguise their prejudices and bigotry. That’s been going on for 2000 years as well.

But no – science and religion are not being blurred, and no – science is not closer to proving the existence of a god, and no, evolution isn’t a “theory” – it is established, settled, proven science, and in partnership with genetics, explains everything in the biological world, including us.

Anyway – a pointless debate that goes nowhere.

Science is science and religion is … whatever it is. The two do not mix – science requires research, testing and proof. Religion requires a leap of faith and a belief in the unprovable … they could not be further apart.

          • hmuller April 7, 2021 at 1:35 am #

Science is the search for facts; spirituality is the search for meaning. Some people embrace “scientism” defined as “efforts to extend scientific ideas, methods, practices, and attitudes to matters of human social and political concern

As in – we can look to science to tell us what is the best economic system to live under. Hopefully, you don’t fall into that absurdity.

But you certainly love to interject your ludicrous straw man arguments “fairies at the bottom of the garden”.

Yeah well … the founding fathers were very leery about organised and powerful religions – they saw what religious conflict had done to Europe for 1500 years. They devised a secular state run by laws and earthly men.

So they included freedom of religion, but more importantly freedom from religion.

          • hmuller April 8, 2021 at 4:01 pm #

Tekapo, if you think religious conflict raged across Europe for 1,500 years; you are not the historical scholar you imagine yourself to be.

But I agree we are entitled to freedom from religion. Freedom from the carbon/global warming religion, freedom from the woke race theory religion, freedom from the modern monetary theory religion, freedom from the scientism/materialism religion, freedom from the sexual freak show religion.Freedom from all the lunacy you left-wing nut cases have elevated into your religion.

Yes we deserve freedom from all that bullshit!

‘Occult initiations are mysteries, in the sense that the believer is fed steps and procedures which he can’t fathom, or only partially understands.

This is purposeful. The believer’s imagination is engaged without him knowing it. He attributes meaning to factual gibberish.”

This guy is himself doing what he says doctors, scientists, and virologists are doing, engaging your imagination with gibberish, with smelly garbage that he tries to perfume over with the words ‘occult art’. Oh yeah, art and the occult, that’ll reel ’em in. He must have taken a double shot of stoopid to think people will buy this shit.

‘Masking, traditionally, is for criminals as well.
      (The thrill of the outlaw.)

Masking also erases identity. The believer can find (imagine) a new persona.

Masking includes a sense of sacrifice. “I eliminate who I was, for the Cause”‘

      What pathetic, childish, imbecilic horseshit!

More and more fake news. This scam artist is dangerously deranged. What a moron!

      • SoftStarLight April 6, 2021 at 10:17 am #

But don’t you think the whole wearing two masks at one time is pushing it way too far? That alone makes the whole thing seem really strange. What is the point of two masks. I can’t fathom it is for “more protection”. At that point why not just stay home if everything is that dangerous. I think it is a ploy to get people to comply with arbitrary decrees. That way when new arbitrary decrees come the people will already be buttered up and ready to comply to be good and responsible citizens. He may not be right. But I don’t see how one can jump to assert that he is a scam artist. What is his angle then and what is he trying to gain do you think?

        • JohnAZ April 6, 2021 at 11:27 am #

Wearing two masks is Lib stupid. The idea of wearing a mask is to block projectile sputum, that is it. Unless you wear a fitted n95 mask that is sealed at the borders, masks leak to aerosols.

The idea of masking is to keep people from spitting on each other. Wearing a mask where that is not possible, greater than 6 ft. Apart, outside, by yourself, is a waste of time. It is established that droplet transmission is more serious, more serious disease, more chance of getting it. Aerosol transmission, indoors, distance independent, time dependent, HVAC dependent, less serious on the average, probably responsible for the low levels between surges, resistant to just going away.

My feeling has always been that masks are the exception, in places indoors when you are close enough to people that they can spit on you, literally. Remember that spitting on you is, talking, yelling, singing, coughing or sneezing. If workplaces, bars, restaurants had used their heads and just kept people far enough apart to avoid spit, there would have been no shutdown.

Then again,if people had been smart enough to follow very simple rules to avoid being spit upon, the surges would not have occurred, we would not have idiots running this country trying to take away your freedom of choice.

          Where is common sense here?

Masks block projectile spit, projectile spit transmits viruses, any virus, wear a mask to block the 95% of droplets that we eject and another 95% on the receiving end.

Anti maskers are concerned about their freedom of choice. With every freedom goes responsibility. Protecting yourself with any means, and protecting others from your spit are the responsibilty of everyone.

Anyone who thinks they do not have this responsibility to everyone else has a problem, I will leave it at that.

One mask, only at appropriate times, and only when the density of virus, as indicated by the surge trends warrants the masking, would make huge resistance to the spreading of the disease.

Anyone who takes the tack that they would rather get or spread the disease than wear protective gear is nuts. Any virus, any time. Our enemy is the virus, not masks.

    • JohnAZ April 6, 2021 at 12:09 pm #

      C’mon man.

Anything that tears down anything that is trying to kill us is a good thing. Any exposure to disease shortens telomeres leading to earlier demises. Inflammation is a necessary part of life but damages self. Inflammation causes damage to self. Heart disease is now seen as a result of inflammation. Neurodoc’s warning about the effects of future inflammation effects of the vaccines are right on. But no one knows for sure whether any of the future fears for the vaccines are legitimate. My feeling is anything that can slow down the inflammatory reaction to getting the disease itself is a good thing. That is what the vaccine does.

I wish one person could say that the vax creates the memory B and T cells that give long term immunity and not just the immediate antibody reaction that goes away in a few months. Will we be getting vax every six months, or boosters every ten years like tetanus? No one knows.

Does remnants of former immune battles continue to reside in us or do the CD4 Tcells ensure that all foreign antigens are gone before shutting down the inflammation process. Will a vax clean out prior inflammation causing damage to self? Does anyone know these answers.

Right now, I believe the anti-vaxxers are operating on very little verified information. Conjecture to match political beliefs is running rampant.

Risk vs. reward, so far vaccinations are a good thing, verified by studies of the first 12000 Pfizer community vaccinations. Is there risk of long term effects, maybe? Same with polio, measles, shingles, tetanus or any other vaccine.

The defeat of disease should be paramount to the research side of medicine, not done at the whim of a bunch of bean counters in DC. SARS one vaccine development was well along before it was stopped because of the disease going away. Until an anti virus agent that kills the virus in vitro is available, medicines’s job is not done. The goal should be to eliminate disease.

      • michael April 6, 2021 at 7:35 pm #

All the major vaccines produce memory B and T-cells. The antibodies are in fact the last thing that is produced.

Well some of the most creative artsy type people and scientist types too probably get close to an area that a common person may think is insanity. But in reality it seems as if insanity is more of a common cold contagion. And once it becomes widespread there are scary positive feedback dynamics that lead to ever more outlandish outcomes. Is it possible too that an aged and decrepit civilization suffers mass insanities/hysterias? Sort of like an elderly individual can be prone to suffer from geriatric dementia. And what to make of the cosmic alignment of an insane, demented crumbling empire being “led” by an insane, demented individual who has been in the Senate for 120 years and headed up the biggest, baddest and bestest voter fraud organization in American history? Personally when I started thinking about this whole topic it made me think of that movie Bug (2006). About how delusion and insanity are less about individuals and much much more to do with two or more. I mean, that is my little theory. Its a bizarre but really good movie too. But all of that to say that it might be possible? that this insanity is the actual devastating pandemic. At this point there is no way to prevent the spread of the delusion if electricty and the internet are “on”. So the innoculation is presumably a firewall of common sense, calm, deliberation, and prudence.. Suffice it to say I guess we should all be really worried in the day and age of the nanosecond attention span

Old saying: People who believe in nothing will believe in anything. If it is packaged right. And once the right people are on board, it can be spread like wild fire. And the right people are available for the right price – and money is no object. The Super Rich probably have some of the best minds in the world working on this. We have no idea exactly what they’re up to, only that it is Bad for us. Gates wants to block out much of the sun. His experiments were stopped by the Sami Reindeer people. I mean, wtf!

I haven’t read this guy before, really. Just heard about him. He doesn’t seem to believe in the virus theory of disease. Many people don’t. Maybe both sides are right – as in looking at the same complex phenomena in two different ways. One paradigm explains some things and the other paradigm other things.

Good Morning :-)! I actually stayed up a little too late lol. Sometimes I just have a lot on my mind and have way too much energy to go to bed I guess when I should. Wow, I have heard a bit here and there about Gate’s efforts to dim the Sun but it sounds like I need to read up on it more. I’m sure it is possible that whatever he is doing on that front may have something to do or relates to him also buying up a mega amount of farmland. It is very interesting that the Sami people figure in to all of this at some level. Did you know that some anthropologists say the Sami are the original Europeans. Before the Indo-Europeans! But even then they apparently are originally Siberian. So of course the everybody are immigrants cult takes note :-P.

I think it is an interesting point. The whole cult aspect of the covid phenomenon. I think his observations there are very straightforward and make a lot of sense. But I am not as familiar with the non-virus theories of disease I guess so that would be interesting to learn more about. But the covid cult wraps nicely into the blue anon “woke” cult so it seems those two canons (?) go hand in hand.

          https://dailystormer.su/bill-gates-is-actively-working-to-block-out-the-sun/

Why? Do they think it will stop global warming? Or increase it and make things worse? Worse is better for their Agenda. Whatever they say, it’s probably the opposite. Or they just want to destroy all Life as Anglin surmises. That’s a real possibility.

A lot of the Sami are interbred with the Scandanavians now and look like them, Sami traits being recessive. They weren’t very good looking in their natural state to my eyes. But perhaps the few pure bloods remaining mourn the destruction of their people. Maybe there’s more of the pure blooded to the East in Finland and Russia. I think riding Reindeer is really cool in any case. What does modern life have that could match that? They should remain as they are and be allowed to do so.

They may be a living link between the Caucasian and Mongolian races – like the almost vanished Ainu of Japan.

        • Blackbird April 6, 2021 at 1:48 pm #

My limited reading on the subject has led me to the conclusion that the Sami (and other Finno-Ugric speakers of Scandinavia/Siberia) are remnants of the North European Hunter-Gatherers (aka the “Original Europeans”). Their cold, wet, isolated environment kept them from being overwhelmed by successive migrations of Anatolian Agriculturalists (ca. 7,000 B.C.) and the later Andronovo/Aryan/Indo-European speakers ca. 3,000 – 2,000 B.C.). Some of these Siberian populations (e.g., the Komi) have very high rates of blue-eyed blondness. Makes me wonder if Siberian admixture helped to develop the common Scandinavian phenotype. As fascinating as the genetic history of the Finno-Ugric people is, I have found little information on the subject.

Recent research seems to indicate that the North European Hunter-Gatherers had neighbors on the east side of the Urals – the North Eurasian Hunter-Gatherers. Their genetic contribution is found in northern Europeans and… American Indians.

          • Yohannon April 6, 2021 at 2:02 pm #

The original Sami look very different: small, dark, mongolian type features along with the Caucasian. If we are related, it is very far back indeed as I said. Mixes tend to be problematic, with lots of dimorphism and health problems. Unlike East Asian or Inuit mixes with Caucasians which tend to be fine. Strange if they are more closely related to us than them. Maybe they are just some kind of cul de sac, a byroad off the main racial highways.

I don’t know about the Komi. Some Aborigines are blonde as kids. Different genetic pathway – nothing to do with Whites. Might be something similar. Or they mixed at some point.

      • MaryV April 6, 2021 at 1:20 pm #

        Terrain theory is fascinating.

Dr. Shiva talks a lot about how where people believe vaccines ‘cured’ things like polio, smallpox, etc., they disappeared when there were infrastructural changes to the environment, such as vastly improved sanitation and cleanliness, etc.

Rappaport is definitely worth reading. So is The Last Vagabond, and Corey Morningstar. Also Alison McDowell.

      Genius vs. Madman

One person opens the basement door, walks down the steps, rummages around for something useful, finds it, walks back up the stairs, closes the door behind him. (The Genius)

Another person stands in front of the door paralyzed with fear or screaming in horror. Or maybe stumbles down the steps into the dark basement, gets lost, knocks things off the shelves. Or forgets to close the door and things creep up from the basement. (The Madman)

Same basement, different responses, different outcomes.

Lazy children stand and scream. Someone will surely come to the rescue…

    BREAKING:
Two girls, ages 13 and 15, who were charged with the murder and carjacking of a Mohammad Anwar, 66, in DC , have reportedly reached a plea deal
On Monday, the teens are said to have reached the deal with prosecutors that would ensure they won’t be held past age of 21 nor be placed in a prison facility
Anwar died when police said the girls, armed with a taser, sped off in his car as he clung to the driver’s side with the door open and crashed seconds later

    I note two things:
    1) No talk of charging these murderers with a hate crime.
    2) People who entered the Capitol without permission face tougher penalties than these two murderers. That’s considered justice under the illegitimate government in power.

Local apparatchik appears on the morning news, advising people to laminate your Vaccination Card ‘just in case’!

  64. neurodoc April 6, 2021 at 10:10 am #

For the zombies, brainwashed, and simpleton libtards who are gun-ho to take the mRNA procedures (not vaccines), NATURE, arguably the most well respected science journal in the Western World, just published an article showing the mechanisms by which mRNA ‘vaccines’ cause hyper-immunopathologic reactions (i.e your mRNA stimulated antibodies attack your own tissues massively).

    https://www.nature.com/articles/s41564-020-00789-5

Some of you will thank me for this in the next year or so.

    Neurodoc

    • GreenAlba April 6, 2021 at 11:01 am #

I’m not gung-ho about taking any medication, neurodoc, but I’m curious as to why you’d claim this article is ‘just published’ when it was actually published 7 months ago, and I’d bet my house all the vaccine developers read it back then. I read the abstract months ago, partly because ADE was being talked about with regard to Covid19 itself, and partly because my daughter experienced it with two doses of dengue, the second worse than the first. And finally because it was being discussed in relation to vaccines back when the currently used ones were still in trial.

It describes a hypothetical risk, as far as I can see (like the hypothetical risk of ADE from the actual disease), rather than a mechanism for which there is any real-life evidence as yet in the case of these vaccines.

In fact I’m also aware that the developers have been extremely conscious of this hypothetical risk (as you’d expect them to be) as I read articles to that effect back in May and June (one in Nature).

Obviously I defer to your medical knowledge generally, and I suppose in your world it helps to refer to or address people as zombies, simpleton libtards, so whatever, to make your point. But I expect some of them aren’t so simple that they can’t read a date on a journal article.

It’s the first thing I look at since knowledge is increasing all the time.

And some knowledge doesn’t change. Why? Because it’s true and becomes the basis for any knew knowledge. If everything was always changing, always up for grabs, we’d never get anywhere.

Seven months old! No if true, it’s a lot older than that. ADE is hypothetical? To you maybe, not to the people or animals who get it and who have died from it.

We’re dealing with two things: the physical realities and our psychological reactions to them, in this case trying to understand them. The scientific quest. Please don’t mix these two things up or try to replace the physical with the psychological. As the Old Alchemists said, before two things can be profitably combined, they must be separated.

        • GreenAlba April 6, 2021 at 1:07 pm #

Why don’t you read things properly? I didn’t say ADE was hypothetical – I’ve just told you my daughter had it with dengue, which is common.

I said it remains hypothetical in the context of Covid19 vaccines. At the moment. If a whole lot of people get it, then it won’t be hypothetical any more.

So first the article is ‘just published’ and now it’s a lot older than the date that’s actually on it? Are you folks for real? It’s got a date on it, just look. Jeez. ‘Published 09 September 2020.’

Your first and last paragraphs have nothing to do with ADE. Mix up whatever you want but don’t dump it on me. I try to be clear.

            Already linked to by neurodoc:
            https://www.nature.com/articles/s41564-020-00789-5

            ADE, two pathways:

            (a) Antibodies no longer neutralizing (virus has mutated) +
            virus able to infect macrophages:
antibodies bind weakly to free floating (i.e. non-intracellular) virus particles and traffic them to macrophages, virus infects the macrophage and multiplies instead of being destroyed.
So far: no evidence any variant can infect macrophages.

            (b) antibodies form immune complexes (agglomeration of viral particles and antibodies) leading to excessive activation of the immune cascade in lung tissue + (not in the paper) suppression of M2 (= healing, anti-inflammatory) macrophages.

Result: inflammatory processes (virus cleanup) dominates but is not followed by healing processes –> lung tissue damage.

            Already observed.

Do you think ADE has been involved in the development of variants that occurred before the vaccination programme?

I may be getting the chronology wrong, but the Brazilian situation seems pretty serious, with the virus killing younger patients, and hospitals at breaking point. Did that variant not develop independently of the vaccination programme, as did (I think) the British variant that seems to be taking over in Europe?

Seems we’re damned if we do and damned if we don’t?

          • michael April 7, 2021 at 11:42 am #

            @GreenAlba below:
For a new variant to induce ADE via the first pathway it needs to be able to infect white blood cells. This has probably not happened yet.
ADE via the second pathway (inflammation and tissue damage in the lung) may be happening with the new variants since it is already happening with the original virus.

The virus now attacking the young more vigorously is an interesting point. The alarm about the vaccination campaign was raised by this guy:
            https://www.geertvandenbossche.org/
            He has two main arguments:
            (I) leaky vaccines applied in a pandemic breed more virulent, vaccine resistant strains. This is not controversial and is already observed with Covid-19.

(II) Once the virus has mutated so that existing antibodies become non-neutralizing, they will actually interfere with the action of natural antibodies thus becoming a problem for the innate (nonspecific) immune response.

A prediction from this is the following: the young, who previously were not much affected, now get sick: previously they were able to fend off the virus with the innate immune response (generalized against novel pathogen) and then built up pathogen specific antibodies (like what you get from a vaccine). But these antibodies are no longer neutralizing since the virus has mutated and now all they do is hampering the innate immune response.

I read up on the mechanism he proposes for that and I am not convinced. The immune system is extremely complicated and simple mechanisms are always dubious. An argument against it is the following:

the vaccinated are also building up antibodies which become non-neutralizing as the virus mutates. They should therefore also be affected by the same mechanism, i.e getting sicker.

If you get an mRNA or viral vector vaccine, the immune system will only see the spike protein of the Covid-virus and you will only develop antibodies against that (albeit a lot of them and binding to many different places on that protein, so that it will take many mutations to make them all useless).

If you get a whole virus vaccine (inactivated or live attenuated), the immune system sees the entire virus. It can therefore learn of more molecular patterns on the virus surface to identify the virus. It will be much harder for the virus to make all of them unrecognizable via mutation.

Thanks very much for taking the time to explain in such detail – much appreciated.

I seem to recall neurodoc, some months ago, stating here that “Bill Gates” chips were going to be delivered through the as-yet-still-coming vaccines.

Someone called him out on that tinfoilery but was roundly dumped upon, including a call to JHK to ban the miscreant.

I have not been able to take anything this guy says seriously since, GA, though I note you have on occasion ‘doft yer bunnet’ to him. Will this continue?

        • MaryV April 6, 2021 at 7:23 pm #

          He’s correct.

There are a ton of articles on the technology.

But, authoritarian types don’t do research, you just get your daily dose of propaganda and happily go on your way.

Thank you for your research. I particularly liked – among the multiple instances of ‘it is believed’ – this neat little disclaimer:

“It is important to remember that predicting the future is a complicated business even for those who specialize in the task. As a result, the examples listed here may or may not turn out to be true. ”

Well yes, there is that. But deadlines need to be met and blank space has to be filled …

Mary, you must do your research at CNN, BBC, or The Guardian.

These sites are approved by Dr. Alfalfa, LARP.

          • GreenAlba April 7, 2021 at 12:13 pm #

You two are pretty much a matching pair now, in your bad-faith non-arguments.

            Congratulations.

          Here’s some more.

You libbies sure like to pretend you’re all progressive and tech loving and yet know nothing about it. I studied it UMass, so I have a bit of a headstart on you I guess.

          • GreenAlba April 7, 2021 at 8:11 am #

Mary, there’s a difference between being aware of the possibilities (both real and imagined) of nanotechnology and stating categorically that the current crop of Covid vaccines (more than a couple of hundred, including the ones still in trials) contain a Bill-bot.

You do recall Dolly the Sheep? It’s been a while now, so where are the human clones we were warned of? I mean, the technology is there and has been for a long time. And don’t be telling me ol’ Bill doesn’t know about it!

          • GreenAlba April 7, 2021 at 9:48 am #

And why, if one might presume to ask, is someone who studied robotics/nanotechnology/sciencey stuff at UMass doing her research at MoneyInc?

          • hmuller April 7, 2021 at 10:33 am #

GA, how do you know that human clones don’t walk among us? It’s not like they wear a stick-on greeting tag, “Hi, my name is Bob, I’m a clone”

          • MaryV April 7, 2021 at 10:50 am #

            Dr. Alfalfa – lol
