NEWA New Video Message From Your Blogger JHK

In these horse latitudes of late summer, with the seas becalmed and the riggings a’creak, the Resistance’s ship-of-the-line (a.k.a. the Democratic Party) drifts ever further out of sight of land. Even so, a few of its crew members have jumped ship: New York’s mayor, stowaway Bill de Blasio, may have been shoved overboard. Former Colorado Gov. Hickenlooper walked the plank clutching the lifebuoy of a sure-thing senate seat. Washington State Gov. Jay Inslee went mad drinking seawater and dove in after hallucinating a school of beckoning mermaids. Months from now, the accursed vessel may be discovered mysteriously deserted, prompting tales of mutiny and cannibalism, like the brigantine Mary Celeste of legend.

That’s how lost and far out the Party looks more than a year from the general election. Back on dry land, the resourceful Golden Golem of Greatness made another flanking maneuver around the Resistance’s left, disarming the so-called Flores Rule from 1994 that underlay the racket of using children to evade the immigration laws. Now the kids can remain with their parents awaiting deportation, which is the natural consequence of sneaking across the border illegally. The Resistance cannot grok the reality that federal law actually applies in cases of border-jumping. Shrieks of “racism” rise from coastal yoga studios and cappuccino bars. Uncle Sam is racist through and through, from his run-down boot-heels to his chin-whiskers.

The New York Times, America’s journal of double-plus good-think, is proving this week with its “1619 Project,” that the NBA is actually the legitimate governing body of this land, contrary to the racist document purporting to be the “constitution.” How many three-pointers could that roly-poly little math freak, Ben Franklin, shoot? Don’t you understand that the Civil War was fought over the attempt by damnable whites to suppress basketball, The Times imputes. Can’t anybody play The Star-Spangled Banner blues anymore in its original form as a field holler, before that cad Francis Scott Key stole it and quashed all the flatted notes?

Elizabeth Warren set the stage for anointing herself America’s Race Hustler-in-Chief by addressing the niggling matter of her former claim to be a Cherokee Indian, since disproven by a DNA test. There was loose talk, you see, that she used the Cherokee ruse to bamboozle her overseers on the Harvard Plantation, where she got to work in the Big House known as the Harvard Law School based on her “diversity” bona fides — a “minority hire!” The claim was so transparently idiotic and dishonest that she was desperate to walk it back as delicately as possible, in order to keep up with the race hustling of her fellow pols chasing the nomination. A rain dance was arranged in the aptly-named heartland town of Sioux City.

Like anyone who’s being honest with themselves, I know that I have made mistakes,” said Ms. Warren, who was met with a standing ovation when she took the stage [The Times reported]. “I am sorry for harm I have caused. I have listened and I have learned a lot, and I am grateful for the many conversations that we’ve had together.”

Was a more disingenuous political statement ever contrived? A bundle of devious platitudinous promises of the sort that white people always offered the indigenous folk at a thousand crooked treaty councils? It would have been a little more satisfying, perhaps, if Ms. Warren had specified the mistakes made, e.g. I was falsely claiming a racial identity for career advancement. Now that’s an apology! “Listening and learning?” I dunno… sounds a little like groveling and pandering. Anyone can choke down a few bites of humble pie but please don’t make me eat that shit sandwich!

The Democratic contest may be peaking way too early. And Joe Biden hasn’t even had a chance to claim he is the out-of-wedlock grandson of W.C. Handy. There are indications that the political center is already a little tired of the Everything-Is-Racist trope that the party ran up the flagpole this summer. For The New York Times, it became the publicly acknowledged official editorial slant when newsroom chief Dean Baquet announced that the paper needed a replacement for the shredded gonfalon of RussiaGate.

That move by Mr. Baquet has more than a little quality of whistling past the graveyard. When the summer is over, ill winds will be blowing the SS Resistance close to the Reefs of Durham and Barr, when many of the ship’s officers — Ensigns Brennen, Clapper, Comey, Lynch, McCabe, and many others, perhaps even Admiral Obama — start perp-walking around the deck. What a mighty embarrassment that will be. The cry that “mistakes were made” won’t salvage the party’s reputation as it founders and sinks. Glug glug.

Anyone care to guess who will be left as the candidate? Tulsi Gabbard, for any flaws that she has, at least is anti-war, as far as I can tell.

What amazes me is that so many folks who I know on the left a) don’t like Biden and b) like Warren, but wish she’d stay as a senator.

    • Neon Vincent August 23, 2019 at 10:37 am #

Vice also thinks Gabbard is the most anti-war candidate running this year, so you’re not alone. It’s still not enough to get her into the next debate, as she needs two more polls with 2% or higher support to qualify. Tom Steyer is closer, as he only needs one more poll of 2% to qualify. Should he qualify, there will be two nights of debates, possibly delaying a direct confrontation between Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren another month. That will annoy a lot of people who want a showdown. Personally, if the presidential contest gets any sillier, I would rather rewatch “Veep.”

        Lost at Sea,

        Ahoy, me Hearties!

The likely explanation of the Mary Celeste is that the captain and his family abandoned ship believing it was sinking. Mary Celeste had a flooded hold and a bilge pump was clogged with coal dust from the previous cargo. Thinking the crew could make it to the Azores in sight of land the lifeboat was launched.

Briggs—having come through rough weather, having finally and belatedly sighted land and having no way of determining whether his ship would sink—might well have issued an order to abandon ship.

So we have an analogy. A land committed to a fracked future with clogged economic pumps, no bees, and compromised decaying agriculture is our sinking ship. Fracking needs a working economic pump and America has none for it. So now men and women scallywags without vision all, flee Americas sinking ship thinking all is lost.

Some of us more calm not eaten by fear will stay with the ship longer. There might be something we can all do if our current landlubber captain gets in the lifeboat with the other scallywags.
The idiot thinks pieces of eight can fix anything and I have had quite enough of his golden hind.

Blow me down. Batten the hatches. Put everything away and lets get shipshape. A storm is brewing.

I don’t know who will be running, but it seems fated that a clown will win.

Biden couldn’t win if he ran unopposed and Warren is opposed to herself (Pocahontas). This ship is on the way down…..

Again you suck down the bong water.
Have you not paid attention to the huge crowds Trump draws verses the clown car Democrat candidates?
Biden can’t even fill a small bar and EWarren is just out of it completely.
While Trump is filling Football stadium events to capacity with people spilling out onto the streets.

benr, AGAIN… he is only filling those arenas with the deranged BASE, who will suck up anything GGG is selling. If every last one of the base voted for him, which they will, it still won’t be enough to keep the loon (lune?) in office. Have you had a look at the attendees???

Jay Inland Sea based his candidacy on climate change, but no one was interested in that crap. Good people want a Wall and the bad people want to bash Whites and ultimately enslave or eliminate them.

          • Luhrenloup August 23, 2019 at 2:13 pm #

            On the positive side:

Trump has kept the country out of war, something he’s had to make a lot of concessions to get.

He has exposed the MSM as the manipulative, lying, fake news machine it is. Very few people believe it is unbiased at this point.

One of the reasons that social media works so well is that the hardest thing to live under is falsehood. One wants to rush to the internet and shout, HE DIDN’T COMMIT SUICIDE, HE WAS MURDERED! This continuous manipulation of reality creates turmoil. By far, the worst offender, because it is so insidious, is political correctness. Trump is so appreciated because he will not fall for it. At last, the people say, he really nailed them that time.

Trump is sincerely trying to turn the economy around, and if not that, at least slow its downward slide.

This narcissistic, crude, arm twisting, nasty, and threatening bully has been able to deflect, in a minor way, Washington’s steam roller. With him we get a glimpse of how impossible it is to get anything accomplished for the country. None of the dem candidates have the cojones for that job. They may have good intentions, but that’s not what it’s all about.

Please note: I’m not advocating for anybody, merely stating the obvious.

“Ensigns Brannen, Clapper, Comey, Lynch, McCabe, and many others, perhaps even Admiral Obama — start perp-walking around the deck. What a mighty embarrassment that will be.” Oh Jim!

Even more interesting is what the feds are going to do about Google’s vote manipulation tactics.

There is a whistleblower making the rounds right now with evidence that the big G may have shifted nearly 10 million votes to Clinton.

          • benr August 23, 2019 at 4:47 pm #

            @jdhines

            Trump voters?
You mean the people that wave the flag and cheer on America verses the lunatics screaming at the sky, cross dressing and can’t figure out which bath room to use?
You might want to actually get out of that little bubble you live in.

This cohort you’re so angry about and afraid is VOCIFEROUS, for sure and grab a lot of headline real estate, but it’s a tiny minority and it will have no traction either at the Election or thereafter.

Your anger & frustration are both palpable & real, but…

Actual, practical government ‘of the people, by the people & for the people’ is way more graphically illustrated in a huge number of countries, with or without a written constitution, than the current USA socio-eco-political situation.

Gabbard is doing her two-week Guard service right now, which probably doesn’t help her visibility at the exact time she needs to make a splash. But she does seem the most genuine and level-headed of any of the candidates–which is why the DOC will block her any which way it can.

      • jeff2002 August 23, 2019 at 11:43 am #

        Sorry, I meant DNC. Not that it doesn’t deserve a well-placed typo . . .

This group of Dems is so weak and riddled with faults, the time is right for a surprise late entry. Michelle? Oprah? I’m guessing a Hillary run. She isn’t well enough to stand the rigors of a long run, but a surprise late entry, when she just needs to wave a little, might still be something she could do.The Dems are in desperate need of some excitement.

    • lasttwo August 25, 2019 at 3:39 pm #

I agree Gabbard at least appears to have some degree of integrity she quit the dnc after the way they handled Bernie. She went to war after 911 and saw we were not there for the reason stated and she spoke truth to power. She can certainly win a debate against Warren . Fake native vs real native – Harris fake liberal vs real liberal.- Trump fake 911 responder vs a person who served the country afterword. Biden so many ways. And most importantly She wants to stop the regime changes that created the south American issues and the middle east issues that caused the refugees. vs build a wall to keep them out . and stop the never ending wars the cost the American people 5 trillion dollars so many lives and made a few people very rich and the rest of us poor or worse. She gets my vote. The DNC should wake up Biden is not going to fire up anyone Gabbard has the potential to fire up young and old alike. They are going to blow it again

There’s a very serious question that they can manage it.

      • Bill7 August 23, 2019 at 12:51 pm #

Do the [Corporatist] Dems want to win? I don’t see evidence for it.
What they do want to do, certainly, is stop any people-benefiting
policies from being enacted by candidates like Sanders and
        Gabbard.

Stopping Sanders is Dems’ Job #1.

As for JHK’s talk of perp-walks for the persons he mentions:

Janos, I’ve felt on more than one occasion that the alarm and uneasiness about UFO incursions and ET visitations is based on just this possibility: with vastly superior technology (and likely more cleverness) they will do to humanity what we have been doing to each other (as you expostulated).

Don’t exist, no proof, swamp gas, weather balloon, whistling in the dark. ‘Thanks for the seven hundred billion clams a year but we cannot stop the blatant aerial incursions and possible nefarious acts of these whatever-they-are. We can’t even determine what they are after and how they plan to get it. Give us more money and we’ll fight this “threat”‘ (honestly, that’s the word they used. As though human technology could deal at all with what we are apparently facing.)

          • BornToKillPeace August 26, 2019 at 1:52 am #

UFOs are likely a reflection of our inner states as a collection of people and individually (Good UFOs vs. Bad UFOs) and I’m not referencing only Jungian philosophy here. Or fallen and not fallen angels.. There is a war above our heads.

The conception that they are to be combated by nuts and bots technology is dimmer than the cheapest Chinese dollar store flashlight relied upon alone in the deepest, darkest recess of Mammoth Cave.

There are indications that the political center is already a little tired of the Everything-Is-Racist trope that the party ran up the flagpole this summer.

Ugh. Trump is eminently vanquishable. Instead of talking about things that matter to people who will elect them, the Democrats choose finger-pointing. I guess the longer we can keep the racism scam going, the longer we can avoid changes that undermine the neoliberal managerial state. A working class divided white from black from Hispanic can’t act to effect change that benefits all of it.

And that working class grows as breadwinner jobs drop out and more formerly middle class people fall into the abyss. Anything goes and nothing matters for the protected classes.

It’s amazing that the man has a chance to win in 2020. How you blow an election to such a man is hard to see. Of course, every Democratic candidate raising his hand to promise to pay for medical care for illegal immigrants, showing disregard for law and the needs of American citizens, is a good start.

I think it’s time to acknowledge the obvious and recognize that this whole Dem charade is looking more and more like a Deep State operation to actively throw the 2020 election to Trump – not that electing one of these idiot Dems would change anything one whit either. Even more than that, it’s about completely demoralizing and permanently ostracizing the lion’s share of eligible voters from ever participating in the election charade ever again (job well done!), making it just that much easier to dictate and control the little man or woman hiding behind the curtain who allegedly controls the levers of power in the name of the nameless, faceless, real authorities who actually make the decisions.

Current race and gender hysteria notwithstanding, there has never been less of a difference between the political choices on offer than there is now, and it’s time for us to recognize that and put all this current media electioneering hysteria aside. TPTB are blowing copious amounts of smoke up our asses, but we still have the capacity to ignore it. It’s time to make other plans locally, laugh at and/or ignore the MSM show, and implement our escape plans. The leviathan can’t be beaten at this stage of its evolution, but it might still be possible to escape it, while doing what we can to throw sand in its gears on the way out. That’s as good as it’s ever going to get from here on out.

No charges. No indictments of anyone.

In the meantime Obama is buying a $15 million mansion on Martha’s Vineyard, Comey and Stzrok and Page and the Ohr’s are in the Hampton’s partying with Christopher Steele and the Clinton’s and Tom Perez. JHK regarding Elizabeth Warren’s statements in Sioux City: “Was a more disingenuous political statement ever contrived? A bundle of devious platitudinous promises of the sort that white people always offered the indigenous folk at a thousand crooked treaty councils?”

The proof, surely, will be in what Warren actually does with presidential power, should she acquire it. For people who take the rights of native peoples seriously, there’s reason to feel encouraged. Start with the fact that Warren may be the first Presidential candidate to say the words ‘tribal sovereignty’ out loud. She said she would revoke permits for pipelines that cross native land, and made reference to a “government-to-government relationship”, i.e. that Native governments would get to decide what happens on Native lands. Warren also addressed the vastly-overlooked problem missing and murdered Native American women and girls, one of a parcel of issues that have been recognized on this side of the border as amounting to cultural genocide. Being the good little Tracy Flick she is, she has done her homework.

Should people give any credit to Elizabeth Warren? It’s said that lots of people who voted for Donald Trump in 2016 understood he was a liar and a charlatan. But they voted for him anyway, because they liked the alternative even less. Next to Trump, Warren is a paragon of truth and probity, despite even her game-playing with native identity.

    • JohnAZ August 23, 2019 at 11:22 am #

Warren’s career is based on a lie, period. Her lack of understanding about fiscal restraint is appalling. We have not even heard a single word about her opinions on foreign policy. She is the poster girl of Democratic idiocy. Trump might be a outspoken narcissist but he has more sense and smarts in his little finger than the entire Dem parade.

No. 1. There is no more money to spend, stop the race baiting and trying to buy votes by knowingly lying about how much more money you are going to give everyone. The Dem platform is so rotten and full of termites that collapse is imminent.

So ends justify means? But if she lied about her ethnicity, what makes you think she can be trusted with regard to her campaign promises?

And why do ends-justify-means only apply to your Lefty heroes? Surely, to be consistent and not a TDS hypocrite, every “hurtful” thing Trump has ever said to blow Lefty minds must be balanced with the bottom line: Trump’s policy results.

      • Tate August 24, 2019 at 12:52 pm #

What about in an existential war, do the ends justify the means then, Exscotticus? Excluding fools, most sensible people would say, yes. Wars are not always questions of existential survival, but they can be.

We are in one now, though it is undeclared.

        • Tate August 24, 2019 at 1:05 pm #

If people deal in bad faith, they are enemies. Trump told the truth about China for example the other day, calling chairman Xi the enemy. A nation dealing in bad faith is the enemy & its leader is the enemy. (Of course, questions can be raised about the wisdom of comparing Jerome Powell to the enemy in the same sentence).

The Left also deals in bad faith, always to advance their destructionist agenda. That’s why the Dissident Right rightly condemns those who call themselves ‘rightists’ & ‘conservatives’ who deal with the Left on the basis of square-dealing as “cuckservatives”, i.e., enemies within our midst. You may deal with an enemy combatant in good faith, but only tentatively, & subject to confirmation, as Ronald Reagan correctly maintained, not relying on words alone, but on deeds, against hollow promises.

          • Tate August 24, 2019 at 1:20 pm #

For those who deal in bad faith, yes, the ends always justify the means. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. So we must deal on equal terms, tit-for-tat. But it isn’t just twice is it?… how many betrayals must we endure from the Left before the rank-&-file American wakes up? The only reason the Left has advanced this far is the evanescent institutional memory of the U.S. What is institutional memory? A triad: Media, entertainment, academia.

Who is in charge of this institutional memory?

I’ll leave you to figure that one out.

          • Majella August 25, 2019 at 10:52 pm #

            Tate:
” A nation dealing in bad faith is the enemy & its leader is the enemy. ”

Okay – so, if that is true, there’s a whole heap of former allies of the US that could take the advice and shun it.

And who is stealing and killing Indian women? Indian men, right? Or Mexican gangs. It’s not Whites though no doubt you are trying to imply that.

They and Alaska natives have high crime rates. Always have.

Warren’s judgement is so bad that she thought publicizing the results of her genetic test was a good idea. And her judgement is also so poor (or her IQ so low) that she thought 1/1024 confirmed that she was “Native American”, as if one could ignore the other 1023 parts of 1024.

But she has chutzpah to burn. I mean she’s the Waspiest looking person imaginable yet she got away with posing as an Indian for years – without putting on makeup or tanning. She makes Dolazeal look like a piker. It is also a testament to how bamboozled and corrupted Harvard is. Yet you love her. Maybe because she is an Anti-White fanatic who have sworn to crush us? A John Brown type to the max.

      • Tate August 24, 2019 at 1:12 pm #

The First People (not first Americans) have high rates of violence. They are killing their own women & girls. Or are we supposed to believe that whites are sneaking onto tribal lands & killing them in the name of white supremacy? That’s highly unlikely. There’s no evidence whatsoever to support that allegation.

    >>> I was falsely claiming a racial identity for career advancement. Now that’s an apology!

Yes, but not an atonement. To atone and take responsibility, she must drop out of politics. For surely such an egregious race hussle disqualifies one for office.

    >>> There are indications that the political center is already a little tired of the Everything-Is-Racist trope that the party ran up the flagpole this summer.

To be replaced with, “It’s the economy, stupid!”. And by stupid, the Dems mean their constituency. Haven’t you heard? We’re in a full-blown recession. No—a depression. No—a Great Depression. Hasn’t been this bad since Herbert Hoover (a Republican) fucked it all up and FDR (a Democrat) had to fix it with “common sense” socialism.

Nevermind that all the stats and metrics say otherwise; if the fake news MSM says the economy is circling the drain, then by god break out the Drano—Trump must go.

    • JohnAZ August 23, 2019 at 11:35 am #

      Yeah right.

The Great Depression loss of jobs was caused by the onset of the tractor and the Green Revolution. I am a Luddite regarding this change. A huge part of the agriculture at the time was based on sharecropping. With the tractor coming on board, those folks ended up in California (see the Grapes of Wrath), or the cities. They had no jobs waiting for them. Socialism kept things running, just barely, but did little to fix the underlying problems, that is that the economy was doing its job of supplying goods and services with 25% less folks. The unemployment rate peaked in 1936, not 1932. Roosevelt owned the economy by then. It was stuck at more than 20% until December 7, 1941, when the world changed overnight. It is amazing how many people can be employed making weapons for a war.

The great fallacies are Hoover caused the Depression and Roosevelt’s socialism fixed it. The stock market bubble and the Green Revolution caused the downturn and the Feds had no control to fix it. Amazing though what a good war will do for you.

      • K-Dog August 23, 2019 at 3:50 pm #

The Green Revolution grew people faster than it grew jobs. All of you bark up the wrong tree. Growing people meant growing jobs and asshole globalists never stopped to think about that. All they cared about ever was to do more with less and exporting externalities as much as they could.

Cheaper better faster, don’t you remember?

Now with the limits of the planet in plain view they still imagine riding on the backs of others and getting paid for it. The seeds of destruction were known all along and they were ignored by the selfish. Now the selfish want to say it was all your fault.

Is that going to vanish? (No, see Michel’s “iron law of oligarchy.” There’s a piece on it at Wikipedia.)

Looks like David Koch died, now Charles is in charge. He has free reign to conspire with Soros & the Rothschilds, etc. to advance their supremacist agenda. The only question for us Westerners is, how steep should be the pitch of the pyramid’s slope? Being a Westerner, a supporter of Western civilization, I say it should be shallow. Does that make me an egalitarian? No, one must consider the context. The interests of the rank-&-file within national borders must be considered.

One more time- I am not a fan of the either side but let’s check the delusion meter shall we:

    Immigration-

Side A thinks we should enforce our laws and deport people who come to the US illegally.

Side B thinks we should let all come here and give them free housing, education, food and best of all the right to vote. And maybe in the future a free trip to Mars…

Apply this thought process liberally to other issues and circumstances.

Not hard to see which side is pegging the delusion meter to full on bat s3it at the moment.

Who are the real suckers though, the candidates or the idiotic public that buys into all the falsehoods.

2020 will be a good benchmark of how far down the stupidification curve the Liberals have pushed the electorate.

      • Tate August 24, 2019 at 1:59 pm #

Universal suffrage ensures a negative result. The stupid are by definition high time-preference, left-side of the gaussian distribution curve of IQ members of society, those who in the main vote for more gimmes. It could be argued that voters aren’t the stupidest, supposedly because they at least have the foresight to vote, those to the left of them not bothering to vote at all. But many very smart members of society also display this behavior of apathy to elections.

Look at this board’s Q-Shtick as an example, who claims that he never votes. But if his vote mattered, would he then display the same behavior? Presumably not. The inescapable conclusion is that voting should be severely restricted so that smarter people’s votes counted to the extent that they would then be motivated to vote more often.

        • Tate August 24, 2019 at 2:03 pm #

edit: “It could be argued that those voters on the left aren’t the stupidest, …because they at least have the foresight to vote, those to the left of them (i.e., stupider) not bothering to vote at all.”

Not just China. There are only so many areas with resources left. As The Long Emergency keeps coming on, control of those areas will become a national security issue for all the major developed world. Trump has told the world we are still at the table. Russia, China and the US will be competing for the Arctic, then the Antarctic, then the moon, then Mars, asteroids, for resources.

        • Janos Skorenzy August 23, 2019 at 2:13 pm #

Just think of how much oil there is under the ice in Antarctica. Melt the Ice with nuclear weapons – them split the Continent three ways: Oceania (us), Eurasia (Russia), and East Asia (China). The Three Powers!

      • Janos Skorenzy August 23, 2019 at 2:11 pm #

Invading Greenland would be the most American thing Trump could do. Annex it. It could be done in 12 hours. We need that oil. Denmark can be compensated of course. As Buddha said, Woe to a Land that is ruled by women – and that includes all of Scandanavia.

Give Hawaii to the Japanese who will keep the natives down and protect the rights of White Americans there. Our Government refuses to do so.

        • Tate August 24, 2019 at 2:29 pm #

Did Buddha say that? Well, I approve. Buddha was one smart cookie. There are three things I oppose: 1) radical egalitarianism, 2) change for change’s sake 3) feminism in all its stages. I have to say I haven’t given up on Jesus Christ yet. And I never will. But Jesus surely would not have supported feminism. Neither would have the Apostle Paul. His words speak for themselves. I won’t go into the details, just read the epistles of Timothy.

        • PeteAtomic August 26, 2019 at 12:28 am #

In this case Janos, I agree and realpolitik must succeed. Invade Greenland. 🙂

      • Tate August 24, 2019 at 2:46 pm #

So is Trump trying to pressure Denmark to approve Nordstream 2? Or is more in play? I don’t get it. Isn’t Denmark’s opposition to Nordstream 2 directly related to the potential for Greenland’s o&g reserves supplying Europe with cheap energy resources?

Supposing Greenland’s potential pays off, wouldn’t Denmark benefit enormously? Of course it would. I’m in a fog. Look at the Beverly Hills 157 acre parcel sold at auction for $100,000 known as ‘the Mountain’ formerly valued at $1 billion for a clue to value in today’s valuation environment.

You don’t encourage a blowhard by catering to his stupidity, you disempower or at least downplay him by ignoring him altogether. Trump is merely playing a part and he’s admittedly a master at it. He’s Lord Falstaff, the great fat buffoonish oaf, and he’s meant to be a caricature of the American working class he allegedly represents. Of course he actually does no such thing, although that just heightens the ironic comedic effect, much to his political masters’ delight. Trump represents the idea that not only can you (the American working class) have your cake, but you absolutely have to eat it too, no matter how violently sick it makes you. Just desserts indeed for those who should have known better!

The Deep State is busily digging a hole to bury the US into. I am afraid Trump is outnumbered.

I wonder where the Elite is going to go after they have destroyed America.

      • Ol' Scratch August 23, 2019 at 12:40 pm #

True that. The ugly truth remains that the alternative to Trump is even WORSE! Pitiful and disgusting.

        • K-Dog August 23, 2019 at 4:11 pm #

We don’t know the alternative until it arrives so saying the alternative is worse is doing a mind fuck. If the alternative is worse we change dogs again. It is not so hard.

When Nerva was new ruler of the Roman Empire, he vowed to restore liberties which had been pruned by the autocrat Domitian. He was the first of the five good Emperors.

We change dogs until we get a good one and we make it clear to all those auditioning for the good dog part what we will put up with and what we won’t. It is not so hard. Stop with the fear mongering. Don’t be a mongrel.

What was he pontificating at length about????
Obama reportedly bought a house on the beach.
If climate change was such a problem why is he spending millions to live on a beach he believes will be under water in less than a decade?

The only hope for the US and World is an economic collapse which will expose Trump for what he is, a loser and fraud. Getting close, getting close.

I spent the last 8 years managing the affairs of my mother who had Alzheimers. That’s how long it took for her brain to finally shut down. I would visit her a couple of times per week in a Care Home that was populated with a wide range of dementia patients. Trump reminds me of some to the conversations I had with the male dementia patients, in particular his latest press gaggle. This morning Navarro was on CNN talking about the WH and its focus, particularly Trump’s leadership. It reminded me of the Care Home families working out their denial, right before their loved ones were transferred to the lockdown ward. Trump is either totally stupid as well as ignorant, or he is suffering from dementia, maybe from a cardio-vascular condition if his expanding girth is any indication. Maybe all of the above. The fact he was voted in speaks to the ignorance and desperation of the US citizens, at least those that still get off their asses and actually vote instead of whine about the rigged Deep State.

I hear in 2020 there will be some hard ballots written in 3 languages, English, Spanish, and Russian. (Should have said, ‘Murican, Mexcan, and Republican).

    • TraffickingInDivinity August 23, 2019 at 11:44 am #

I remember some of my Republican friends saying the same thing about Obama – that he was mentally sick. Things didn’t turn out so bad (with the exception of the GGG) and he didn’t totally transform America as they feared. How the POTUS appears depends upon what side of the ship you are standing on.

      • benr August 23, 2019 at 12:03 pm #

Yep Obama was the worst president I can remember and yet compared to all the DEMOCRATS running now I would take him back in spite of all the damage, corruption and outright gangsterism he brought with him.

Contrary to populist belief the Democrats have both feet squarely on land whilst the Cheeto-in-chief is pumping & dumping USA jobs, industries, & American exceptionalism out in the Pacific far from the prying eyes of those on shore, or land. Moreover, after the Greenland failed appropriation, and lunacy expressed by the Orange one, we can all conclude that his best before date has expired like that scientific experiment most of us have in our fridge.

My nerd Chartered Accountant father used to claim that moldy cheese in the fridge was mere penicillin and could be scraped off the cheese so that the cheese could be eaten instead of being thrown out when despoiled by age. In brief, the Orange one has been despoiled by upbringing & age related early onset dementia that has likely occurred from poor diet and a lack of nutrition that accompanies all that healthy living in the lap of luxury as NYCs most known Real Estate scion run amok.

Isn’t it interesting how NYCs most well known media personality is now flopping like a beached fish out of water as the macroeconomic landscape withers & dies before our very eyes on this very day in Jackson Hole USA.

For the sake of civilization & humanity the Republican ship of fools is wayward & without navigation lost in an ocean of dogma & destined for break up on the rocks of voter discontent in 2020. The Democrats have wind in their sails & all the momentum necessary to unseat the Cheeto & swamp creatures from Goldman Sachs-of-shit just in time for either World War Three or an international truce.

Personally, I would like to see an adult at the helm instead of an unruly child masquerading as an adult. Sanders or Warren would be excellent replacement given that their parents raised them to be able to get along with others diplomatically whereas the Orange one was raised to be petulant, divisive, & wholly racist to the core.

Democrats will trounce the Republicans in 2020 to be sure!!!!

Any evidence that you can point to to support this, um, questionable
assertion? Our Dems are doing whatever they can, to 1) divide the
citizenry with Identity Politics 2) keep their $$$ party going 3) lose elections™.

Evidence to the contrary is most welcome.

      • Robert White August 23, 2019 at 11:03 pm #

For all the evidence anyone would need to make the statement I made one would only need to reference the unhinged Tariff Man in the White House that thinks he knows Macroeconomics better than the Mathematics PhDs in the Federal Reserve. And if that is not wholly convincing in & of itself you might want to take a look at the historical significance of the depression era Smoot-Hawley Act which will be refreshing I’m sure for someone with the wit you evidence yourself.

Lastly, I’m from CANUCKISTAN where the Liberals are in power and staying there because they are professional whereas our Conservatives, New Democratic Party-ers, and Green Partiers can’t get their acts together to govern the center of politics in CANUCKISTAN and thereby win at the polls when it counts.

Liberals rule where I come from, Bill-7!

  20. JohnAZ August 23, 2019 at 11:47 am #

The only thing Trump has really done is to remove some of the tax and regulatory brakes on the economy that were put in by the last twenty years of presidential incompetence. He has played the conservative side as Roosevelt tried the Liberal play to get out of the Great Depression. Here is the rub. Neither way works, Basic flaws in the economy are causing the problems, a lot of them due to technological change. Until the job market has recovered, the problems will continue. Aggravating the problems with creating bubbles will only put off a down slide and aggravate it.

The Dems should be working towards offsetting the negative effects of High Tech. Running the printing press is not an answer. We need to start creating wealth in the US not taxing it.

        =============

Versus and verses are homophones (“one of two or more words pronounced alike but different in meaning or derivation or spelling’), so no one will notice if you substitute one for the other when speaking. … Versus is a preposition, meaning “against,” and verses is generally the plural form of the noun verse.

Wadsworth (R-NY), cautioned that passage of social security would open the door to a power “so vast, so powerful, as to threaten the integrity of our institutions, and to pull the pillars of the temple down upon the heads of our descendants”. Rep. John Taber (R-NY) said “never in the history of the world has any measure been brought here so insidiously designed as to prevent business recovery, to enslave workers, and to prevent any possibility of the employers providing work for the people.” In other words, I guess it was even worse than unions. I just thank God that we have the Republicans looking after our best interests, you know, good people like the Koch brothers, etc.

      Ahem.

Social Security is not a welfare program. Payroll taxes have been paid for forty years into a mandatory retirement program run by the government. Why? Because people are too dumb to save their own money for retirement and if they had to depend on their own savings, they would be on welfare.

And Cap’n, it is MY money! I will not give up MY money or expect anyone else to.

The average restaurant hamburger now a days goes for 9 – 14 dollars.

Bernie Sanders had surrendered to Hillary Clinton during 2016 Democratic Convention, after which the convention turned into a parade of the Flying Monkeys and only Donald Trump stands between Bastinda, the Great and Terrible and the Red Button.

Bastinda and the flying monkeys continue to dominate both US domestic and foreign policy

This impression is created after watching Sunday’s political programs. Even Putin’s statements, expressly warning the United States that they would be hit with a nuclear fist on the face if they continued their 90s policy in Europe, did not become worthy of discussion.

Moreover, Hillary is not explicitly mentioned, but implicitly the denial of her role in the fact that Bernie Sanders did not become a candidate from the Democratic Party does not allow Democrats to nominate candidates for the presidential race 2020.

The need for an answer to this question is so great that refusing to answer it can be fatal for a democratic party.

  34. Ol' Scratch August 23, 2019 at 12:36 pm #

Bernie won’t be nominated, never mind win. But even if he did, he’d be neutralized all to quickly by whatever means necessary. Especially in Bernie’s case, it would take a broad coalition to enact any of the things he’s for. Where is that coalition? Nowhere to be found currently.

Here’s what happens if Warren or Sanders wins. Much hoopla on both sides of the aisle ensues between election and inauguration day. Claims and counter claims are made, cries of “Apocalypse Now!” are heard from the hysterical right, and the press cashes in on yet another windfall bonanza. Inauguration day comes and goes with similar fanfare over “new beginnings,” “taking our country back,” or whatever other sort of inane nonsense they choose to spew.

Immediately afterward, the Republicans and a sizable portion of Blue Dog Dems then mount a counter insurgency and a stalemate ensues shortly thereafter. The Liberal Dems immediately retreat and claim that they are powerless before the “Conservative onslaught.” Hilarity and food fights ensue, which then last until the midterms and then the process begins all over again.

And all along the way simple minded voters who foolishly continue to believe in “the system” will continue to mutter to themselves “won’t get fooled again,” or whatever other simple minded platitude helps them get through the day. Rinse and repeat. OVER and OVER again.

      Ol’ Scratch

It seems everyone is forgetting a major point here. The Federal government is there to protect the body of states from foreign invasion and to work on common state to state issues.

      Period!

The states are supposed to be the center of power. The Constitution was written expressly to deny power to the national government, amendment ten.

It shows how much the public has been indoctrinated by the socialistic elements that they expect the government to take care of them. Even FDR would be appalled by how much control has been usurped. Probably even Keynes.

Weak incompetent people end up in politics after they have failed at everything else. They cannot run a business so they end up giving us the business. Think about the Dem group running a corporation or their own business. It gives you the Heebie jeebies. No wonder nothing good comes out of Washington.

You wonder why the public keeps expecting something. That is a measure of how stupid it has become. Which is goal number one of the Democrats.

      • Ol' Scratch August 23, 2019 at 9:20 pm #

You’re almost there, JAZ. It’s not socialist/capitalist, it’s big money/no money. It’s winner take all and devil take the hindmost vs. we’re all in this at least minimally together. It’s really an old school, honest to goodness, matter of faith, and belief in what we’re all doing is really all about, at the most basic of levels, which it’s safe to say most Americans and those currently living on the “first world” have apparently forgotten all about.

YES it’s about states, but more importantly it’s about counties, and about cities/towns, and it’s about neighborhoods, and it’s about individuals – US – standing up and actually STANDING for something again!

FUCK the goddamn accepted political ideologies all to hell! It’s about REAL people right here, right now, standing up for something RIGHT NOW, REGARDLESS of what this or that dipshit said about this or that how many ever years ago. WHO are we, WHAT are we, WHAT do we stand for, and WHAT will we not accept? When I hear serious people ask that question in public and not be shouted down for asking it, THEN AND ONLY THEN, I will know for sure that this fucked up mess we’re all existing in will have a future. Until then, we’re just all waiting to die.

      We live in interesting times.

Trump has asked major corporations to get out of China. The market went down 623.

Who knows what the answer is. Do we take corrective action now and stop breaking bread with China? Or do we continue the slow capital bleed off to China that will bleed us dry over the long run? Do we try to remain the king on the mountain?

The market drop is inconsequential. The real story is the turn in direction, are we going to insist that International corporations become American corporations again and quit selling out to China.

Trump is gambling with big chips right now. It really is a case of whose side are you on. Are you a globalist or a Nationalist? Estulin pointed out that the US putting the brakes on the nefarious trades and building its own capital hurts the globalist financial boys. So maybe we are witnessing the tossing of the gauntlet at the international set.

Well, it looks like a new theme this week in the Nutmeg State.

Last week there were 6 stabbings and slashings across the state. It was all Hispanics, as their love of the blade is well known. Oh, people were shot too — community members — but the blade dominated.

What’s new? A young mother was strangled in Middletown, body just found, and a 30 year old beaten to death in Bristol at a house party. Both victims were Hispanic. Some Party. Its not the kind of party John O’hara wrote about. I’m reminded of the line in ‘Treasure of the Sierra Madre’, “Badges, we don’t need no stinkin badges”. “Weapons, we don’t need no stinkin weapons”. Killing with bare hands, that’s getting right down to the basics. Sure western civilization is unravelling, but what about the diversity?

If White Brits keep moving to avoid minorities, how can they be bred out of existence? It’s frustrating because even if a policy is put in place (and there are already calls to do so) some of them still own their own homes and can sell and then buy another home elsewhere – anywhere they want. Why is this allowed? It gets in the way of Policy.

To the Question of Light in the Kingdom of Darkness

Until recently, I tried to present my conclusions about the driving forces of history and science so that you, my dear readers, could step by step follow in my footsteps and come to the same conclusions yourself. Unfortunately, this has become impossible since I just physically unable to generalize and describe the conclusions that I had to make in response to the events that occurred as a result of sabotage on Losharik.

And the matter is not only in the volume of these conclusions, but also in their abyssedness , to look at which the occupation is harmful for the soul, both yours and mine.

And if someday the Academy of Sciences decides to deal with this topic – and it is a question of scientific work, then scientists will have to regularly attend the liturgy and really work only four days a week for no more than 5 hours a day.

Well, for now, I will present some of the scientific results I have obtained without justification, and you take my word for it that they can be justified.

But for this I will interrupt this stream of negativity every day with something positive – cats, flowers, Gothic cathedrals or icons.

I already wrote about the shock that I experienced when Trump hinted that Epstein’s pedophilia could be ritual, and that it’s disgusting and hard to read about, but the fact is that the first search brought me to “Pizzagate”, where in the list of literature in English was not only Gilles de Rais, but also Herodian dynasty in the second or third century of our time, after they left the religion that they were forced to accept, and which after the destruction of the Second Temple by troops of Titus ceased to be a state religion.

And first of all, I want to say that I was wrong when I wrote that most of the Amalekites who converted to Judaism during the time of King Hyrcanus left this religion after the fall of Jerusalem.

Actually, I don’t know which part of the Amalkites did this, but I came across information about the descendant of King Herod, who became a Mithraite and I got a lead on the smell.

Under Emperor Eugene, or rather during the magister militum Arbogast, the descendant of this Mitraite became his adviser and member of the Plato Academy, and after its closure, his descendants fled to Yemen, where they returned to Judaism as soon as it again became the state religion and then became Shiite Muslims.

    Herodians, what could you do?

In this capacity, they moved to Persia, then returned to Jerusalem and during the first crusade met with the descendants of Arbogast, who founded the Knights Templar.

And from this “chance encounter” you can easily reach the Black Madonna, known as Notre Dame des Miracles, from which not just strings, but ropes thick as hand stretch to Joan of Arc and Gilles de Rais (and, accordingly, to our days Madonna and Rammstein).

And this means that at the beginning of the 15th century, Satanists for the first time entered into an alliance with Devil Worshipers, despite the fact that in Iranian mythology Mitra slaughtered a bull – Baal.

And although this is just a hypothesis, the documents on the Internet on this topic are just plentiful, for example, protocols of interrogation under torture of Gilles de Rais, and if I can’t figure it out, then this post is a map on which all the treasures and reefs in this sea are marked and which should help the captain, who decided to follow me on this voyage.

    https://web.archive.org/web/20080514141704/http://shell.amigo.net/~ma3/Mauriac.html

The most annoying thing is that I knew all this for a long time, but until Trump poked my nose into ritual pedophilia, I could not put this mosaic together even mentally, just as I could not imagine that the “Poles” occupying Moscow, engaged in cannibalism in 1612, not only and not so much from hunger, until I found out that some of them were actually Dutch and members of the same sect that ate Johan de Witt.

And when this mosaic finally took shape, it worked so well on me that I forgot to congratulate you, my dear readers, on the Transfiguration of the Lord and still try to understand what kind of post I published on August 19 and whether it was the flu or the aforementioned shock.

    https://katehon.com/sites/default/files/styles/natural/public/1_11.jpg?itok=FrC5_ogf

This photo shows the Transfiguration of the Lord in Sant’Apollinare in Classe, which gives us the opportunity to see the Transfiguration of the Lord as it was portrayed in Byzantium before the iconoclasts who destroyed it almost everywhere except Ravenna captured by the Arians.

And the triumph of the Black World project in Western Europe in the 12-13 centuries gives an occasion to recall Pope Gregory IX, who blessed not only the anti-Christian Crusade on Russia, but also laid the cornerstone in the foundation of the Church of San Francesco in Assisi, whose frescoes were the first work of Giotto art, denying the ability of a person to see the Tabor light in full accordance with the theological constructions of Pope Gregory IX. And judging by this fresco in this church, which Giotto personally painted, the descendants of King Herod were also involved.

Is Light just the absence of Darkness or Darkness the absence of Light? Or both equally true, as for the Manichees?

Light IS, Darkness is NOT. But the Supernal Light seems to be Darkness to our material eyes – thus the Theology of Darkness put forward by Gregory of Nyssa and others. And the Symbolism of the Black Madonna (also symbolizing the Earth and the incarnation simultaneously with the Light) Please inform yourself of this at the earliest possible convenient time.

    Janos, this is from Unz,

This article caused me to look up the “alleged crimes” the Lakota committed that caused the US to hang them.
It turns out that these “alleged crimes” included massacring more than 800 white men, women, and children in their beds, per president Lincoln’s Second Annual Address.

Americans should be taught about the massacres of innocent civilians carried out by the Sioux, like the 32 hanged at Mankato, for the brutal murders, rapes and torturing they carried out against women and children in 1862. It’s important for the youth of America to learn why the US had to act severely against the red savages who’d murder, rape and dismember the women and girls they captured.

And you have weak, self hating white people who blamed the wicked white man for hanging the Indians who massacred them!
How long can such a self flagellating people survive?
    https://www.americanantiquarian.org/Freedmen/Manuscripts/lincolnsecondannual.html
    August 23, 2019

Here’s a true story from Canada. Around the same time that the Lakota were massacring and torturing white people in Minnesota the Chicoltin began attacking white people in what is now BC. They began by raiding the ferry point, murdering the ferryman and stealing all the supplies.

They then proceeded to launch a sneak attack on some surveyors, pulling the tents down on the heads of the sleeping men and beating them all to death while they were helplessly trapped. They then murdered a farmer who had fed them over the winter and set fire to his house. In all they murdered 22 people over the span of a couple of days.
The Indians were caught or surrendered, and 5 were put on trial and hanged.
Fast forward to 2016. The descendants of these murdering savages where whining so loudly, and since Canada has a fairie for a prime minister he actually apologized, and declared that Canada was sorry!
If PM Dildeau were in the US, no question Mt Rushmore would have already been sandblasted.
    https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/pm-trudeau-exonerate-tsilhqotin-chiefs-1.4593445

I’ve purchased two or three books by American Indian authority, Gregory Michno. One is entitled, A Fate Worse Than Death: Indian Captivities in the West, 1830–1885. Talk about hair-raising!
After reading how many Indian tribes regularly practiced slavery, rape, torture, mutilation, skinning alive, and all other kinds of barbarity – hey, I’m glad that White peoples moved in and brought order and civility to the land.

Oh, and that bit about living out “forgotten, impoverished lives” – well, I’m all broken up. No one is making them stay on their reservations. If they want to sit around and toss tomahawks all day, that’s their choice.

      • malthuss August 24, 2019 at 12:28 am #

        you people? who? Whites?

    • Well I’m sure you’ll find that the history of the US-Indian relations were not between the federal government and a particular tribe.

North America was a land of many, many tribes and by the 1850s many were still in a phase of development where small scale warfare and generational vendettas that played out across the continent between tribes.

The difference between then and now is the greater degree of unity and the total state of peace between the tribes.

No doubt this is a natural evolution of tribes’ development toward more equitable futures.

Today, even the white man is civilized. He lives indoors, like a cat. He feeds on packaged meat and brings pollution and many trading goods wherever he goes.

The white man and the red man can live in peace- in fact, have been for many moons.

Today natives are connecting at events like Unity in Florida. They are communicating by the new sky signals the white man brought. They are taking spiritual communion with one another and speaking the sacred red tongue.

This bond is growing stronger as the days turn with the seasons. Our survival proves there is hope for the white man. As long as there are some, there will be many, and they can carry their own through the hardest of times, as we have, as they have, for millennia.

Scalp Dance is good too – about the horrors of the Comanche. Many of the Tribes were bad, very warlike, into torture and sometimes cannibalism (if they got hungry).

The good guys won. That’s Us.

You are once again forgetting that they were certainly driven to extreme behavior by the fact that being ravaged by our diseases to which they had no immunological resistance, subjected their once-thriving societies to nothing short of an apocalyptic crash-and-burn. This would make anybody who survived more than a little bit crazy.

        • Janos Skorenzy August 24, 2019 at 1:14 pm #

Their traditions of torture, cannibalism, and human sacrifice were well established before the White Man came here. Stop projecting our good qualities on to them and accepting their bad qualities as our own. Just stop it.

This is ex-post reasoning, that they were being driven to extreme behavior by the fact that they were being ravaged by ‘our’ diseases. They on the contrary at the time it was happening had no awareness of it. Their behavior in fact was endemic to their culture(s), which were uniformly extremely ethno-centric, never recognizing other tribes as even belonging to the human race.

Maybe somebody here can explain something to me. I am a city employee, and I was gassing up my vehicle the other day, when another city employee showed up to refuel. He is a police officer, and I get along well with those guys. Anyway, we were talking, and I happened to make a joke about unions. The officer said “Yeah, me and a lot of my friends don’t like unions.” Now I know that most cops are conservative, and tend to be Republicans, so I wasn’t that surprised by what he said.

I said “Well you guys have a peace officers union right?” He said “Yeah, we have to, if we didn’t have one the city would fuck us over on pay and benefits, but we don’t like the fact that we have to have one.”

I drove away somewhat confused. I know most cops are conservative and generally Republican. I also know that that most Republicans don’t like unions. So it seemed to me that this guy wanted to have his cake and eat it too. On the one hand, him and his friends understood that the only protection they had from the city, was their union. So they wanted a union. On the other hand, they were conservative Republicans, and so they wanted to be able to hate unions at the same time. Now, it seems to me that this is doublethink, so they could have the best of both worlds. This is cognitive dissonance at it’s finest, and thinking like this is alive and well in this country, and it has a lot to do with why we have the wages we do, and why the wages never keep up with the cost of living. I remain confused about how my fellow Americans can try to play both sides of the same coin.

    • Ol' Scratch August 23, 2019 at 8:40 pm #

Good post, Cap’n. I’m sure his police union involves some minor personal trade offs, like all of such organizations do. Dues, red tape, political bullshit, and the risk of supporting a strike that doesn’t directly involve his or her personal interests. But I’m sure like you that that comment was based mostly on the political programming you noted. Such is the power of the 24/7, wall to wall propaganda we’re all subjected to everyday.

    • JohnAZ August 23, 2019 at 8:49 pm #

      Cap’n

      Not a discrepancy.

He told you they need unions to keep their paychecks where they need to be. Probably so as the liberal members of the city would like to take their pay and give it to illegals or some other harebrained idea. So the Union is there to protect him and his.

Why conservative Republican? Because the liberals have put his life in jeopardy by enabling criminal elements to take root and flourish in his district as well as all over the US. The only person in DC who is speaking for the law officers in the country is Donald Trump. Remember too that Trump got the union member vote in the Rust belt. Why? Because he attacked the Deep State’s destruction of unions in the US. The Dems have already started trying to get that vote back. Their Medicare for all takes away union health care power and they have throttled talk about health care since they were told that by the unions.

You may not agree but unions are becoming GOP because they have lost faith in the Democratic Party because of the war against Whites. Was your cop a white man by any chance?

      • capt spaulding August 23, 2019 at 9:57 pm #

Yes, he was white. As far as unions going to the GOP, I doubt that it has happened very much. Some union members, on the other hand, have gone Republican at different times. I worked in a steel warehouse back when Reagan was first running, and I remember some of the old timers, who should have known better, were walking around saying “You know that Reagan has some pretty good ideas.” I understood that Republicans have been anti-union since unions first began. The Irony of what these guys were saying was that we made very good money, most of the old timers all owned cabins up north on lakes, owned their own homes, usually with a built in bar in the basement, and drove late model or new pickups usually with campers on the back.

I used to argue with them and would say something like: “The problem with you guys is you’ve been too successful at getting your wages and benefits, along with everything else, and now you’ve forgotten that you work for a living.too Republicans would get rid of unions tomorrow, if they could, and we’d all be worse off for it.” Reagan later broke the air traffic controller’s union.

I understand the futility of preaching to the converted, and I know it’s a waste of time, but somebody has to come out against the constant rape of the people who work, even as I watch us sink further. I’m not worried, I took care of business while I’m working, I’ll do well, and I’m not stupid enough to believe that corporations and people like the Koch brothers or Trump have our best interests at heart. I’ll guarantee you that none of those pricks even know what a callus looks like, much less ever had one on their hands. Oh well, I do what I can, and when I do retire I’ll be all right because guess what? When it comes to my personal economics, I’m VERY conservative, and I neither support nor vote for thieves.

        • JohnAZ August 24, 2019 at 10:26 am #

I am in about the same situation you are aiming for in your retirement.

The Deep State is the evil empire of our times. Both parties are involved. I think you are right on with your evaluation of the two sides. But consider that focusing their efforts on the primacy of the Federal government to the detriment of the rest of us is more paramount than party differences. I believe it is why the differences are blurring at the federal level.

Trump is a square peg in a round hole in DC and the Deep Staters are determined to bury his opposition to them. Ironically, just like Carter. The “experts” keep talking about the Trump GOP.

Not! He is creating a new party pulling the tea party sector of the old GOP with him. The RINOs are folding right in with the Deep State but are committing political suicide by doing so. Sorry, Mitt, you are not going to run again.

The Dems are doing the same thing. The Progressives are moving the majority of the Dems to the Left and the few Moderate Dems are being left behind.

It will be interesting to see if the Deep State Dem moderates and the RINOs do not find a way to get along.

Three parties? One to replace the current American government with Communism, another to preserve it with as it is now, and the third to bring back Reagan conservative ideals.

          Just wondering.

        • Tate August 24, 2019 at 3:20 pm #

        • Exscotticus August 26, 2019 at 1:58 am #

What did Obama ever do for unions? Membership shrank under his tenure, as did the associated manufacturing jobs. Meanwhile, the wealth gap increased. Bottom line: Dems no longer care about big labor. All those fat tattooed deplorables! Dems only have eyes for illegals now. And maybe trannies.

    • Exscotticus August 23, 2019 at 9:04 pm #

For those of us who ponder about things, the secret to accepting authority is to not actually listen to anything they have to say. Otherwise the illusion of their superiority is easily crushed. Just focus on the results. Is crime up or down? Economy doing better or worse? Stuff like that. Because stuff like that is more truthy and less susceptible to spin.

There’s a difference between a union and a public sector union. I was both a steward and a committeeman off and on for years in the agency I worked at; one of our main jobs was to get people’s jobs back who were fired, and should have been fired. We made it impossible for anybody to get fired, no matter what. Maybe that’s why your police officer felt the way he did about his union.

    • Ol' Scratch August 23, 2019 at 9:29 pm #

Good point. I dealt with a union as a USAF supervisor at Edwards AFB, CA, and it was mostly just political bullshit all the way down. The bad eggs couldn’t be rooted out (Don Rainone, where are you?) and the good eggs suffered from it and silently resented it, which made everyone’s life harder. On the plus side (for them), those guys made obscene amounts of money for doing absolutely nothing unless they felt like it. I couldn’t look at them sideways without drawing a union beef.

      • capt spaulding August 23, 2019 at 10:06 pm #

That is one of the bad things about unions, Scratch, slackers take advantage of union protection to keep their jobs. Having said that, however, 99% of the union people I ever worked with cared about doing a good job, and went out of their way to see that things were done well. Like I said, there were the worthless fucks who milked their jobs, and of course ironically, that’s who the company always brought up when they argued with the union about things. 99% of the workers were good guys, and that’s a fact. American workers are still the best in the world.

Watching a guy named Byrne, CEO of Overstock.com saying he was involved in a Deep State plot to weaponize the intelligence community. It was led by a Russian party. So maybe what is going to come out of the IG and Burham investigations is that Russia was behind the whole FBI fiasco and the people involved were wittingly or unwittingly working for the Russians. Gee, maybe there are countering groups in Russia pushing both sides in the US. Or maybe the Russian government is working both sides against the middle trying to tear down our free elections.

I cannot remember, did you buy Russian collusion with the Trump camp?

That was a report last night on Fox reported with a lot of skepticism.
Is it possible that the HRC crew set up this whole thing using her connections inside Russia? You better believe it. She had tons of Russian contacts, at that time, to form a Deep State resistance against Trump. It is a fact that Russia played both sides against the middle with the HRC campaign and the Trumpers.

Who do you think Russia, and China, really want to win control of the US, a group of Communist leaning Left wingnuts who have made destruction of the American way their ultimate goal, or Donald Trump who loves America just the way it is and has shown more cojones dealing with the foreign powers than any president since Reagan.

As the Left and their global allies are set on bringing the US into third world status, I would guess the world is rooting for the Lefties.

And the resistance is working on its goals 24/7.

      • JohnAZ August 24, 2019 at 10:04 am #

If Donald is interested in the arctic he should give Justin [ anything but just ] Trudeau a call. Canada’s arctic archipelago has been put up for sale. It has everything Greenland has; polar bears, whales, seals, great fishing, icebergs, indigenous populations; except for mile high ice, what more could he ask for. The US secretary of state has claimed the water between the archipelago islands are international waters, totally ignoring the 200 mile limit established by international law. This is evidence Trump is fingering Canada’s northland for annexation. Trudeau might throw in Labrador to finalize things.

    • Exscotticus August 23, 2019 at 11:53 pm #

The Left will never go for it. Polar bears and ice are white, and therefore racist. What Trump needs to annex is black ice, such as the kind that sunk the Titanic.

    • JohnAZ August 24, 2019 at 10:01 am #

Maybe Trudeau is right in the middle of it now. Greenland would make a formidable sentinel on the east side of the Northwest passage. As Alaska is on the west end. I wonder if plans for the soon to be open Northwest passage are included in USMCA planning?

      • Majella August 28, 2019 at 3:36 pm #

The Thule Airbase surely already fulfils that purpose.

    • BackRowHeckler August 24, 2019 at 12:05 pm #

China wants Greenland for its rare earth metals, oil and natgas resources, and its strategic placement in relation to Russia and the US. Look for China to commence construction on an airbase and seaport in Greenland within the next 5 years. China may also want to annex Canada’s arctic regions too, who knows, but they have not yet made any overtures to Trudeau, but the Chinese have approached Denmark over Greenland. The MSM knows this, why they have not reported it I know not.

There’s a scramble for resources going on right now amongst the great powers for access to Arctic resources. It looks like we (the US) will sit this one out.

It kinds of reminds me of the Philippines in 1898. The US is criticized for annexing the islands in what became our one real attempt at Empire, but left unsaid is that the German Pacific Fleet was lurking offshore, ready to pick up the pieces of the 380 year old Spanish empire after the US fleet left for home.

Long, but worth it. James Burnham came out of Marxism but went on to reject it. The Classless society wasn’t coming, he said. But rather the rise of a New Global Elite, the reign of the “Managers”. And their power is both Corporate and Governmental. Indeed the divisions between the two spheres break down as I understand it. This I agree with and I have called it “Oligarchical Plutocracy” in the past. But his paradigm challenges me as well: the Elite aren’t guilt ridden at all. And they really do “believe” this crap as Elites always believe the moral system that allows them to rule (I have always thought otherwise). The death of Nations is the health of coming Global State and it maximization of profits for the various Corporate Entities that comprise it.

    https://www.amren.com/news/2019/08/managerial-revolution-elite-theory-immigration/

The new Elite are hostile to the old Capitalist Elite as well. And most of the shareholders who have hung on from those days, play little or no part in the ongoing Revolution. They aren’t barred from so doing – but most don’t bother to study and work to become part of the New Elite. They just collect the check and perhaps do charity work that allows them to feel part of the New Order. Or perhaps join the professions at a medium to high level. They certainly don’t oppose the New Order by fighting against mass immigration, etc. That would make them pariahs.

It’s a long article but definitely worth the time. You know, it’s interesting how powerful the Elite are, and yet in the end, like everything else, they are quite vulnerable. As they say, what goes up must come down. I do think that the White and possibly the Jewish components of the Elite will be dispossessed of their power by the rising Black, Brown, and Muslim Elites. In essence the White and Jewish elites sow the seeds of their own destruction with the complete embrace of multiculturalism and anti-White racism and the seemingly more virulent anti-Jewish hatred of the ascendent Muslims. Meanwhile, there is a slow but steady rebirth of racial awareness occuring among the lower classes of Whites. Eventually this will manifest into actual political power. Of course, the where, when, who, and how is to be determined.

I went to the Walmart yesterday to buy some fishing lures. It was horrifying. Mostly obese, semi-conscious black people and Mexicans. They’d blithely leave their huge shopping carts in the middle of the aisle so that I’d have to ram them aggressively out of the way. There was one lone skinny balding white bloke who looked like a passive reject from a low budget zombie movie. It was surreal. The faux Resistance, like most other institutions in our society today, is adrift on the waters of irrelevance. The mask has been removed and their propensity for violence and their appetite for power belies their alleged desires for social justice and equality. Ultimately, the Resistance is merely a tool for the powers that be. Another illusion in the game of illusions orchestrated by the media and political establishment. While the faux Resistance relitigates America’s founding, slavery, and the long gone days of an actual White America, the world turns. Like most of our institutions, the faux Resistance is unable to even mention, let alone actually address the problems we truly face. What the faux Resistance actually resists is change itself. Its easier to discuss racism that occurred 400 years ago than to address the social and environmental destruction unleashed by the open borders they eagerly embrace. Its easier to shout about some nebulous notion of White “privilege” than to address their actual gleeful acceptance of genocide and violent oppression of dissenters. The faux Resistance, and the Establishment generally are outdated, tired, and unable to face reality and the future. As they drift further and further away into the mist of history they’ll eventually sink beneath the waves. That is if they aren’t blown out of the water altogether by actual purveyors of change.

It’s hilarious especially since it’s the chief beneficiaries of White privilege that talk most about it ie those people in that inordinately privileged over-class, mostly White, that take their privilege as their due. You check your privilege SSL, but as for them, they deserve it, so it’s theirs to keep.

And they’re all for racial mixing just as long as their precious lily-White offspring don’t have to rub shoulders in schools with lesser breeds, even and ESPECIALLY high achieving non-Whites.

That’s laughable too, a meritocracy confers privilege but there’s boundaries around what kinds of competition are allowable.

Certainly not competition from obsessives that study all the time and get top marks. See, that’s a mark of unbalanced personalities, or IOW, unfair competition. For certain the offspring of the lily-Whites aren’t studying as hard as offspring of Indians and Chinese and Koreans and earning top marks simply because there’s more to life than studying. To be the ruling over-class responsible for future of the world takes intellectual faculties and personal attributes not necessarily developed via school work. So goes the reasoning.

But it’s not really about unfair competition and what kind of people we want to develop to rule the world. It’s about a small coterie, a relative handful in the hundreds of millions toiling and moiling, maintaining their economic and social benefits and they’ll do it via whatever means they can conjure up. Lies? Yes? Fraud? Of Course. Force? if necessary.

They talk about racial this and that but don’t even think about their blue-eyed boy bringing home an oriental or Indian chick no matter how beautiful and brilliant she is and no matter how accomplished her parents are.

      • Janos Skorenzy August 24, 2019 at 1:28 pm #

I occasionally go to Pow Wows and I’m stunned at the beauty of some of the Pure Blood Indian women. So much more beautiful than the mixed bloods for the most part. Some of the refinement of the North East Asians but with an earthiness all their own. I could never add value to that, but only detract. And likewise they have nothing to offer me. Our child would be less than either of us, in all probability.

Hard wisdom as opposed to the sweet lies (oh so popular!) of Volodya.

Are they more beautiful than our beautiful Women? No. Objectively No. And subjectively ours are the best because they are the best for Us. Because they are ours! Robins mate with Robins and not Blue Jays after all.

And yes, “our” hostile Elite are just followers now for the most part. See the article anent James Burnham above.

      • SoftStarLight August 24, 2019 at 1:46 pm #

V, I don’t necessarily believe that the White contingent of the Elite have any racial fidelity at all. Do you really believe that? Race-mixing is not only extraordinarily fashionable now its essentially illegal to question in any meaningful way. After all, that would be hate speech and activity. I think the White Elites are more than happy to intermarry with non-White Elites. In their domain wealth and power are far above any concerns (if there are any) about race. And what is better than conforming with the acceptable and promoted norms of the moment for them and their appearances and facades. In reality the massive race mixing occuring now is just another symptom of the disease of Globalism.

Welt told how United States of America “help” Russian Federation to build “Nord Stream – 2”.

Having cancelled visit to Denmark, President of the United States Donald Trump can “help” Russian Federation and promote construction “Nord Stream – 2”.

The publication claims that it is the Danes who are currently blocking the construction of Nord Stream-2 in the interests of the United States. With his refusal to visit, Trump “insulted the most important ally in the fight” against the Russian gas pipeline, and Denmark can respond to such “political infantilism” by stopping delays and issuing permission to Moscow to build an object in its territorial waters.

Why do people lie? For all sorts of reasons, maybe to stay in the good graces of their boss (no I don’t mind baby-sitting your fart-machine dog) or their better half (no you don’t look fat in that dress). Or maybe to gain undue advantage in a commercial transaction (car’s clean as a whistle).

Some deceptions are of a type or magnitude that make penitence irrelevant, at least on this mortal coil. You’re sorry? Cry me a river.

The Almighty may see it different, but we’re not of that eternal nature. We’re in a realm where resources are finite and where we hurtle through time which is always against us. Redemption? That’s a big ask. Second chances? Maybe sometimes, in some cases, but otherwise life is too short.

Being an Indian – or not – isn’t a nigglish detail in your life story. Saying she is when she’s bloody well not – and she bloody well knows it – is one big gigantic whopper that gets contempt not least from Indians and also doubt about all kinds of things especially if she used the lie to get into Harvard. It makes her such a damned bullshitter that telling the truth a thousand times doesn’t help.

So what else did she bullshit about? So when you listen to the hard-bitten stories about growing up stick-thin and having to walk ten miles every day through subarctic tundra in flip-flops, you roll your eyes. Is there anything we can trust?

Apology? Fuck that, this is a presidential candidacy that should have been long-ago rolled up.

But then this is the Democratic Party who long ago outlived its usefulness for anything other than as a vehicle for lies. Big ones.

V, Could it be possible Warren, having grown up in OK, Indian territory till the 1890s and surrounded by Indians placed there from all over the United States — Osage, Cherokee, Comanche, Sioux, Nez Perse, Apache, Ute — could very well have thought, honestly, she was part Indian too? I don’t mean for that question to be provocative, just offered up as a possibility.

Yes, it’s possible. It’s possible especially for someone not as bright as Warren, for someone not as self-aware, for someone not as discerning. A lot of things are possible. But is it likely? Maybe this is more likely exactly what it looks like. A big fat lie.

No matter how good you are or want to be, war is war. Any method necessary must be employed if you really want to bring down your enemies. There can’t be mercy when your family, your people, and your race are on the line. The enemies must be vanquished in totality and their names blotted out from memory under all the heavens. American politics is in rats alley where skeletons become scattered bones and then the bones are broken and chewed.

The zeitgeist of the American Political system is built on the lose sand of group domination. One over another. Nowhere in America is there an existing politician who has not been infected with this disease and they all want you to feel their disease. The thought of we being all in this together is not and cannot be part of the existing American Political Structure. They all want your ass the in same way the Charmin Bear does. First they want you to pay and then they want your ass. You don’t get anything back.

Party politics as it is now or politics without principle, is poison. But that is something impossible for Americans to grok.

Jesuit superior general agrees with Finca: Satan is not a name. it is an occupation

    https://kunstler.com/clusterfuck-nation/race-hustle/#comment-432994

Vatican City, Aug 21, 2019 / 01:44 pm (CNA).- The superior general of the Society of Jesus said Aug. 21 that the devil is a symbol, but not a person.

The devil, “exists as the personification of evil in different structures, but not in persons, because is not a person, is a way of acting evil. He is not a person like a human person. It is a way of evil to be present in human life,” Fr. Arturo Sosa, SJ, said Wednesday in an interview with Italian magazine Tempi.

It would follow, then, that there is no God, but rather only a symbol and a way of acting good

        quote from https://kunstler.com/clusterfuck-nation/the-yin-and-the-yang-of-it/#comment-436299

Judaism, Christianity and Islam are united by a “theory”, or rather Abraham’s insight that man is an image and likeness of God and therefore stands above all other creatures, including angels and archangels, but because of this he has “free will” – the ability to act contrary to the will of God.

Moreover, these very actions contrary to the will of God, including the very first of them – eating an apple from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil – are the primary source of evil.

And all that objectively exists or rather having its own ontological being, was created by the Lord God.

So, your “way of acting good” in the absence of God loses all meaning, since what would be the “criteria” or “measure” of “acting good”?

        • elysianfield August 24, 2019 at 6:16 pm #

Less filling, but tastes great? An example of a major religion does not come to mind. Even Islam, where there is no God but God (may he be praised!) has lesser Gods…El-Shaitan, etc.

However, I know better than to argue the metaphysical with you, I cannot win.

        • Janos Skorenzy August 25, 2019 at 1:59 am #

God can’t be just a relativity like that – else He or It wouldn’t be all powerful, wouldn’t be God in other words. If Good and Evil were equal and opposite, there would have to be a Third Thing that was above them and reconciled them. And since it couldn’t be Good, could it still be God?

          • elysianfield August 25, 2019 at 3:24 pm #

” And since it couldn’t be Good, could it still be God?”

            Janos,

Whose blaspheming now? Are you sure you want to go there? Sure, he can manifest in any way he desires, but he is a singular being with an army of separate beings who work his will. I am surprised that you don’t understand. The Kingdom of God is headed by Christ and in the same way the Kingdom of Darkness is headed by the Son of the Morning. Or, are not Kingdoms ruled by Kings? To deny his reality only gives him more power, not less. Retract your words and perform penance if you wish to honor your ancestors.

And even before this sudden rash of wintertime fires, the Amazon was being deforested, one recent estimate suggested, as fast as five football fields a minute, or a Manhattan every day. If the rainforest as a whole shrunk by only one-fifth, some scientists believe, it could produce a cascading effect known as dieback, whereby basically the whole ecosystem would collapse, faster than any human effort to replenish it could manage.

I will help with the math. The rate is now two Manhattans a day.

Among Warren’s dozens of admirable and technocratic plans, her relatively modest climate proposals almost get lost. Before dropping out, Inslee released six — each more ambitious than the last, and, as he pointed out to me yesterday, not just a bullet-point list of platitudes but a plug-and-play “governing document,” which could theoretically, at least, be put into action by anyone taking the White House in January 2021.

    Stagnation of the Russian Culture

Of course, due to my geographical location, I cannot keep abreast of the latest cultural developments (as Trump says – this is sarcasm), but what is available to my observation speaks of the agony of Russian culture in the last stage.

The Ministry for the fight against Education, Science and Culture is slowly but surely fulfilling its tasks, and how Putin, having defended the sovereignty of Russia as a state, is going to restore Russia as a culture and civilization, I personally have no idea.

There is absolutely no solvent demand for bringing benefit to the Motherland, especially in order to enrich the culture, and the lifetime of the system in which culture is created by enthusiasts on a shoestring budget not seem to be more than 10 years.

Indeed, only 10 years ago, Russia had the Bolshoi Theater, there was the Academy of Sciences, which could somehow reform itself (resuscitate?), such TV series as “Gangster Petersburg” (the first two seasons) “Citizen Chief” and “Last Meeting” were shot.

In general, Putin’s Renaissance blossomed in Russia, and now the only way to rectify the situation is like Peter the Great to look for talented people and appoint them to key positions.

But Peter the Great preliminarily forced the owners of these positions, those who didn’t let talented people into them, chop heads of the archers.

    https://avatars.mds.yandex.net/get-zen_doc/751940/pub_5ac7280f7ddde81950d12d0f_5ac72e1379885e0e21e023c3/scale_2400

But Putin doesn’t want to fire anyone, even those who openly sabotage his programs, with the help of which he was going to limit the harmfulness of the Medvedev’s government while he provides sovereignty at the military industrial complex sites (such as Losharik)

Moreover, recently all the activities of the enemies of the people are aimed at creating the conditions for a social explosion and lowering Putin’s authority.

The second place in this social competition after the pension reform is clearly held by television programs about the overconsumption of all kinds of stars against the background of the apparent impoverishment of the bulk of employees and the reintroduction of poverty into those who miraculously survived in the 90s by occasional gigs.

I’m not talking about museums and other institutions that are on a budget.

For example, you know that the collection of the impressionists of the Pushkin Museum was transferred from the main building, where they could be viewed in daylight, to the next one, where artificial lighting just steals half of Manet’s colors and the originals are no different from the reproduction in a good art book?

We have to believe that the current leadership of the Pushkin Museum really does not know that daylight is something critical for the Impressionists; otherwise it remains only to assume that artificial lighting helps to hide that the “originals” are actually copies.

    Good but copies!

The Dulles’ plan blooms and smells in today’s Russia!!

P.S. In the United States, culture is clearly recovering.

  92. Person of the Week: Donald J. Trump.

What a difference it makes to have a president with balls. Trump’s tariff hike and more importantly, mandate, for U.S. companies to find other suppliers HAS BEEN LONG OVERDUE.

Peter Thiel’s op-ed (Printed in The New York Times, August 2, 2019) should have clued someone in to the kind of intelligence working behind the scenes.

I’ve been calling for recognition of this threat here and to anyone who would listen for 30 years.

Capitalism itself is being pulled to heel. There ARE higher principles.

    Free Bill Cosby!

Bill Cosby at some point learned that he could trade quaaludes for middle aged white pussy. Middle aged white women learned that they could get quaaludes and career favors by giving some pussy to Bill Cosby. Later, middle aged white women learned that they could become famous and get lots of money for accusing Bill Cosby of rape.

  94. As many of you know, I’m not psychic, but I believe in something more durable: the rhyming of history and the predictive and historical function of art in shaping society.

So in that vein, I’d like to introduce the concept of Little Annie and Daddy Warbucks.

When Annie (Greta Thunberg) and Daddy Warbucks (Donald Trump) get together in New York City to talk about tomorrow (Greenland), what we will witness might cause a phenomenon called Optimism.

This state of Optimism, I need not say, is unknown today to many.

And for those who remember such things, most have forgotten.

If you think about what might occur here, it takes the breath away.

I’m going to follow events in the print edition of The New York Times. As in 1933, the newspaper allows me to sidestep the inevitable morass of advertising and profiling the online news consumption experience provides.

Look, I know most of you are broke-ass plebes, and consider yourselves clever by paying $99 for cable and internet all in one.

Let me disabuse you of this stupidity.

There is nothing online that is not in the print Edition of The New York Times. And because you aren’t privileged enough to be able to select the content of The New York Times means that there is only 1 (one) non-personal information filter (the other would be your own bias).

The amount of content one can absorb is much greater per unit time, read from paper, versus absorb, through any other current system (I’ll give LexisNexis a possible exception).

So just consider this: your quality of life as a function of your information stream (whatever gutter that is) is simply far lower than the AVERAGE newspaper reader of 1933. The devolution is frankly obscene.

I genuinely feel sorry for those of you who can’t afford a copy. They can be found in rubbish bins toward the end of the day. The price is free, which can’t be beat. Don’t be too proud. Reach in and pick one up today.

The New York Times. If you don’t read it, you are literally wasting everyone’s time every time you open your dumb mouth.

I’ve always wanted a full subscription to the New York Times so that I could get the FREE Saturday edition that comes out for the New York Review of Books once a month or so.

It is a big mistake to assume that the “trade war between US and China” is just that – the trade war between two nations.

The problem is that almost 100% if trade and financial flows between US and China are being controlled by the Clinton clan and it’s fueling the internal political struggle – or even the Cold Civil War – between Trump Clan + Bush Clan against Clinton Clan.

China’s communists just became too closely aligned with Trump’s political enemies inside the United States.

Trump has questioned why he must attend G7

    https://edition.cnn.com/2019/08/23/politics/donald-trump-g7-attendance/index.html

Well, really, but why should he go?

G7 is the format of the Bretton Woods world, which Trump is quite consistently destroying.

What is he’d talk about with them there?

Trump is now actively preparing for his reelection, the platform of which is the destruction of globalist financial dictatorship over the United States. The goal is noble and the American people will approve of it.

So he does not need the G7 format at all.

Yes, the process is lengthy, and to say that the United States, in reality, was an occupied country, is quite difficult. And obviously it is impossible to say, you have to come up with new formulations.

But Trump absolutely does not want to maintain the appearances of the old order by participating in meaningless conferences.

He will go, of course, to the summit, but he will spend most of his time talking face to face with different participants.

    With those that interest him.

And what does Putin has to do with it?

Very simple – this is a demonstration from Trump, Putin is interesting to me, but you are not.

And if you want to become interesting, invite Putin. That’s all.

Its destruction would be catastrophic. Tropical rainforests are the Amazon, the SubSaharan Africa and the Southeast Asia region. Human habitation is clobbering all three, the fires in Amazon and the expansion of the Sahara desert are all hurting the biome of the rainforest.

The Bible is filled with the message of Living Free from Sin, and this second volume continues the study of this much-neglected subject. Scripture by scripture, the Lord continues to uncover the dangable doctrine of eternal security in Paul’s writings to the Romans, the Corinthians and the Philippians.

Wives of G7 leaders have their own planned events in and around Barritz, there they are, stylishly but comfortably dressed, taking lunch, watching a traditional dance performed by Basque dancers, touring a Swiss Village, gracefully fulfilling their roles as wives of Prime Ministers and Presidents.

What if Pete Buttplug gets elected? He’ll be going to Barritz in 2021, accompanied by his ‘husband’ Chasten. How will he fit in with the First Ladies? Macron’s wife will understand, she knows what its all about. She’ll help Chasten pick out his wardrobe, something low key, nothing over the top, but an ensemble designed to let the world know he is a wife, not a husband! No outrageous red pumps, for example, but sensible penny loafers, but tied with a bow. The whole world is watching after all. Xi and Putin will be watching events closely, taking measure of this new American leader and his ‘husband’, coming to certain conclusions about the trajectory of events in this strange nation that used to be so formidable.

Why would Obama — which the Daily News described today “as the closest example we have to American Royalty” spend $15 million on 23 acres of beachfront property on Marthas Vineyard — an island in the N Atlantic after all — if sea levels are rising and beaches are being eroded and being washed away? Does it make any sense? Unless the whole goddam concept is a hoax and Obama knows it? A lot can be learned by watching how ‘American Royalty’ spends its money, not listening to what it says.

        Joe Walsh?

Then these 2 principled Republicans can write books saying its OK to lose elections as long as we maintain our honor, and promote a list of proposals for a principled Republican platform which which bores the sh#t out of everybody, and guarantees Republicans will lose the next election, which is Ok because we have honor and principles. They will be frequent guests on CNN, presenting the principled, Conservative point of view, main players in a big round table circle jerk Hate Trumpfest, two conservatives, George Will and Bill Crystal together with half dozen NY Libs, “Yes, yes we all agree, Trump is deranged, he has to go”. Then they will offer up a candidate who nobody has heard of and who has no chance of winning. Everybody is in agreement, after all, its a circle jerk. And so what if Joe Walsh will most certainly lose, that makes it even better. He has honor. He has principles, this Joe Walsh. What about the 60 million Americans who will vote for Trump in 2020? You don’t get it, do you. Trump is the opposition to the Deep State. Trump is the one that is fighting the socialistic takeover of the country. The Deep State has that takeover as its central theme. Their goal is federalism. Unfortunately, the public’s attempt at avoiding the takeover is losing the battle as the forces against him grow larger. Those favoring individual freedom are going to lose the war next year, I am afraid.

In some ways he opposes the Deep State and in other ways he appeases the Deep State. John, we are already essentially a socialist country. Wasn’t that pretty much determined in the New Deal or am I not getting it? Not everything about socialism is objectionable anyway. And yes, individual freedom is very important, but I am sorry, our society seems to uphold the individual above the collective in an unhealthy way. Humans are social and need society, just like society needs individuals. And those you are calling socialist are more like globalist communists.

          • JohnAZ August 25, 2019 at 3:44 pm #

The Federal government has pushed in places where the economy does not serve the people well. Ie the safety net. That is where socialism has crept in. Kids, old folks, disabled, in between jobs, long term unemployed. The requirement for this socialism stems from one thing, the inability of the public to save its money for a rainy day or retirement. Remember too that Medicare and SS are not pure socialistic as the are paid with payroll taxes, the public owns them. Ah! Sorta.

Communism is government ownership of all the economy. As screwed up as our government is at doing anything, that in itself should scare the hell out of you if the government took over anything. If we were in a pure communist socialist country, Exxon, GE, GM, Ford, Facebook, Google , Microsoft, or Honeywell would not exist, the government owns the functions. Oh yeah, by the way, who owns the corporations now? We do, through the stock market. The government is taking our wealth away from us. Remember that when you bash Trump. These damn Progressives are going to take away your future if they get elected.

The Progressives are Communists, period. Bernie said yesterday he wants to nationalize fossil fuel production in the US. Can you imagine? That genius will have us living in the dark ages.

You say he appeases the Deep State. How? The Deep State has succeeded in blocking almost everything he was elected to do. You seem to have a problem with his lack of progress, why don’t you put the blame where it belongs. He has hacked away at the Establishment in about every way I can think of. Draining the Swamp is hard when someone keeps filling it up behind you.

I will agree with you on one thing, he is not Superman. I hope you are not a big fan of the the idea that Marvel Comics is going to save the world.

Indeed, though the USA falls well short of actual, successfully-operating socialist societies.

“And yes, individual freedom is very important, but I am sorry, our society seems to uphold the individual above the collective in an unhealthy way. Humans are social and need society, just like society needs individuals. And those you are calling socialist are more like globalist communists.”

Interesting NBC article about the Amazon. Bottom line is if we lose the forest to fire or agriculture, the war against Climate Change is over.

I doubt if Brazil is going to reforest the area with the farmers ready to go in and develop it, IMO.

Maybe this will reset the AGW folks into realizing they better figure out a way to adapt to higher temps in the world instead of the fruitless attempts of changing everyone on the planet with no promise of improvement.

IMHO, the climate changes continuing may be the catalyst that will change the demographics and the geography of all the temperate climate countries including the US.

I do not believe it will be peaceful.

    • BackRowHeckler August 25, 2019 at 1:16 pm #

Bolisaro sent the army to the site of Amazon fires … with flame throwers. I don’t know how true it is, read it in Weekly World News (of the wierd) Usually a reliable source, like the NYTs.

      Brh

      • SoftStarLight August 25, 2019 at 2:01 pm #

If you look at maps of the fires it appears most are occurring in the savanna/grasslands that the Brazilians call Cerrado. The fires occurring in the Amazon forests seem to be somewhat near the boundary between the forests and the Cerrado.

        • JohnAZ August 25, 2019 at 3:49 pm #

I read that the humidity “bubble” that the forest casts over itself is in jeopardy if enough of the forest is removed. With out that protection, the area will convert to a savanna.

The subsaharan area converted to savannah then to desert. The Sahara desert expands every year.

          • SoftStarLight August 25, 2019 at 7:13 pm #

I wouldn’t doubt its possible. After all, allegedly much of North Africa was green savanna or covered by forests about 10,000 years ago. This was at the same time that Europe was much colder than it is now. Maybe the climate is shifting to a similar phase again? And perhaps then the Amazon was drier? I thought I read somewhere that the forest covered a smaller area at one time.

          • JohnAZ August 25, 2019 at 7:24 pm #

That is the problem. We do not know what is happening. We do not have any tools to change anything anyway. We may go spend Bernie’s 16 trillion dollars and nothing changed. We may go 100% nuclear, have electric cars, no cows, no jet planes and nothing will change. Nobody really knows, even the scientists.

      • JohnAZ August 25, 2019 at 3:45 pm #

Maybe to cut fire lines to back burn the fires.

      • Dunewalker August 25, 2019 at 8:10 pm #

In the US most fires are fought with flame throwers as a major tool, for backfires.

      >>> the war against Climate Change is over

It’s all ready over. Just like we lost all the other figurative social “wars”; drugs, poverty, and all the rest.

As always, the root problem is overpopulation. They’re not cutting down forests because they hate trees…

      • JohnAZ August 25, 2019 at 3:53 pm #

Yep. You are right about overpopulation.

However, I will offer to you that a lot of the social war losses are because the “soldiers” fighting the wars do not give a damn about the social issues or worse they profit from them. Yeah, the Deep State.

        • Exscotticus August 25, 2019 at 4:55 pm #

You need to accept that there will always be poo in the universe. You can isolate and contain it in the far corner of your world, but you can never get rid of it.

The Left’s answer to the poo conundrum is to:

          1. Pretend that we can go to “war” and eliminate it.
          2. Pretend it’s not poo and that there’s no problem with it.
          3. Accept that it’s poo, but deal with it by spreading a thin layer of it over everything. If the layer is thin enough, maybe no one will notice?

US population growing at the rate of over 2 million people per year, almost all due to 3rd world immigration and their progeny. There’s your qrowth. And if you don’t have economic growth, and you are accepting that many new people per year, you have a problem. What’s more, these people are not coming here to live in grass huts and commune with nature. No, they want cars, big ones, clothes dryers, central heat and air conditioning, toasters, a big house, cheap gas and so on. Who’s going too tell them they can’t have these things, KDog?

Election Campaign in USA, China and World War of the Roses

The most annoying thing is that just recently the results of analysis based on the theory of world projects did not differ too much from the official position of the Russian Federation set forth in the TV program Vremya, or by Mr. Kiselev on the second channel.

Now this is no longer the case, and this separation occurred precisely because of those events that proved the adequacy and even necessity of the theory of world projects to explain what is happening in the world.

In particular, the theory of world projects arose from the need to explain the collapse of the US political system, when the donkey-elephant fight really turned into a staged wrestling match simply because Hillary Clinton managed to recruit or rather subjugate a significant part of the Republican Party, personified by Senator McCain and later Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, and in the Democratic Party around this time, an uprising began against her, personified by Barack Obama, and later Bernie Sanders.

All these events took place before everyone’s eyes, but the media was “too shy” to call Hillary Clinton’s coup d’etat #1 what it really was – a state coup, although it meant the collapse of the bipartisan system and the creation of a one-party system in the United States.

It was precisely then that the mainstream media began their rapid separation from the objective political reality given to us in real-time sensations, which ended with a flight in the clouds of postmodernism, given to us in editorial articles written at the direction of Hillary Clinton.

And only the emergence of the term “Deep State” gives a chance for a safe landing of this aircraft, in particular the opportunity to understand that the planned dismemberment of Russia began in South Ossetia in 2008, with the rise to power of Dmitry Medvedev and the global economic crisis as part of this plan, and a prerequisite for its implementation was that in 2008, her puppet John McCain was to become Hillary Clinton’s rival in the US presidential elections.

And the failure of this plan was due to the fact that Vladimir Putin and George W. Bush found these events in China and by some miracle they could meet and agree on a joint statement on the need to counteract the world war, which could become a natural continuation of the Georgian war of 08/08/08.

Moreover, these events are so closely intertwined with the events, as a result of which Barack Obama, and not Hillary Clinton, became the candidate for the presidency of the United States, that now the need to determine what was the cause and what was the consequence requires a special study by a scientific institution such as the institute of the USA and Canada.
But as you know, mythical organizations such as the Deep State cannot be the subject of research for such reputable scientific organization, and such a study has not been and will never be carried out.

Meanwhile, in my opinion, it is necessary right now, since its results should determine the policy of the Russian state. The fact is that over the past few weeks the global economic crisis has again appeared on the global stage, and in the same way as in 2008 it is associated with the threat of a military conflict in the post-Soviet space between Russia and Ukraine.

At the same time, today, a prominent Republican and critic of both President Obama and President Trump Joe Walsh on the main democratic television station announced his candidacy for the presidency from the US Republican Party, which cannot but remind us about the part of the Republican Party which under direction of Hillary Clinton in 2008 nominated John McCain for the presidency of the United States, in 2012, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, and in 2017 threatened Trump with impeachment if he does not sign a law restricting his right to lift sanctions from Russia.

And it can hardly be a coincidence that this happened on the anniversary of the death of John McCain, and in the same program, his widow Cindy McCain announced a “crusade” against President Trump.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGIHSaLsvzw&feature=youtu.be&t=2432

Moreover, there is no doubt that all this is plan B of the next Hillary Clinton coup, which began with a fire on Losharik, and failed after the arrest of pedophile Epstein, who recorded video of ritual sex with minors by the leaders of the Deep State.

And the fact that the fierce civil war in the United States can not be explained by the confrontation between the Democrats and Republicans, a significant part of which receives directions from Hillary Clinton, means that we are witnesses of the crypto-religious war of the World Projects = Wars of the Roses.

A lot of details will confirm this – for example, that Jeffrey Epstein was associated with Bear Sterns, which started the global economic crisis, since it was Bear Sterns’ help from the American state in combination with the refusal to help Bear Sterns’ main competitor, Lehman Brothers that created market uncertainties, triggering a global economic crisis.

And the course of this economic crisis showed that only the return of industry from China to the USA can save the United States from the most disastrous consequences of the collapse of the dollar system.

And the U.S.-China trade war launched by Trump for U.S. reindustrialization and recently formally proclaimed by Democrats as the main cause of the new wave of the Global Economic Crisis is a continuation of the U.S. War for Independence, which began with the Boston Tea Party, during which the West India Company sank the so-called “tea” that was allegedly brought from China by the East India Company, known for launching the Opium Wars when the Chinese Emperors in the same way destroyed similar warehouses in China.

And Epstein’s “suicide”, especially if it is a pedophile’s transfer to the witness protection program, proves once again that the sect of pedophiles of Gilles de Rais in the castle of Montmorency and the sect of pedophiles in the townhouse of Epstein are the core of the Black World Project, which began its march through history with the provocation of the War of the Roses between York and Lancaster in England, which became the White and Red World Projects during the course of that war.

And the spirit that Gilles de Rais evoked through ritual sex with minors was the spirit of the War of the Roses, which destroyed the entire English aristocracy and a third of the population of England, just like the spirit that Epstein and Co. tried to evoke is a plan to dismember Russia, an attempt to implement which is most likely will lead to nuclear war and, accordingly, to the death of a significant part of humanity.

July was said to be “hottest month in the history of the world”, could be why this is my best year for tomatos, cukes & eggplant. Squash didn’t come up too good, tho.

Weeds are my nemises, including poison ivy, which creeps everywhere. Im in a Neitzchean struggle with weeds, and weeds are winning.

I chop out the poison ivy with my handy Collins machete, made sometime probably in the 40s in town. We used to fetch them out of the river using magnets when we were kids, use them for sword fighting and playing pirate on rafts we would build. The steel is good, made locally by the old bessemer method and still holds an edge. I made grips for it using truck tire tread I found at the side of the road in Granby, came out pretty good.

Soon to be banned by Democrats in your area.

It will only take a single prominent massacre by a machete-wielding psycho, and “common sense” will inform Dems that machetes must be regulated like nuclear bombs.

If this tire is typical I’m in a conundrum. This is my first time with the tires. I’ll have 200 lbs of ‘taters. I might have to pull out the ferment barrel and the still and run up some spiritus!

Trump is lost at sea. Anyone still supporting Trump is suffering from Trump Derangement because that is what he is: deranged.

A new Fox News poll shows Trump losing to ALL his top Democratic challengers. More Republicans are challenging Trump in the Republican primary.

Trump is a loser and his re-election chances are tanking as he drifts out to sea, lost at sea.

    • Exscotticus August 26, 2019 at 10:20 am #

LOL whatever Janet. Link to a poll taken in August of 2015 that accurately predicted the outcome in 2016?

Also, why do you care? Didn’t you claim Trump will be impeached any minute now?

So check out the latest insanity from Google leaks via whistleblower James Vorhies:

After Trump tweeted “Covfefe” on his return from Saudi, Google employees removed the term from the Arabic to Eng. translator, as it had previously translated the word (which was apparently not a typo by Trumpi).
