You can see where the trajectory of events is leading. The country will be distracted by racial strife this summer while the global banking system implodes, disabling trade relations and the super-long supply chains we depend on for all common goods from oil to fresh food. Unless the remnants of the Republican Party act responsibly and find a way to replace Trump with a capable candidate, the nation will get what it deserves: a clown in the white house at the climax of the Fourth Turning.

The racial events of recent days resonate in a fog of cognitive dissonance. What really happened in those two incidents involving Philando Castile in Falcon Heights, Minnesota, and Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge Louisiana? Too many people pretend to know exactly why these two men were shot by cops. The video recordings of the incidents are ambiguous. In the Castile case, the recording doesn’t start until just after the deed is done.

Given the universal hyper-awareness of the current mood around the country, I doubt that policemen would throw away their livelihoods for a few thrilling seconds of malice. They know exactly what happens after the gun comes out: suspension, investigation, end-of-career, possibly civil prosecution, lawyers and more lawyers, a special hell of lawyers, and no way to make a living in the meantime. In a word: ruin.

These two incidents were followed by the shootings in Dallas by one Micah Johnson of twelve cops, five of whom died. That matter was not so ambiguous. The authorities quickly determined what happened and why. It is likely to lead to more assassinations and bushwhackings of police because a peculiar social mechanism gives people permission to re-enact atrocities once certain lines are crossed. We saw that in the political assassinations that commenced in the 1960s. The Jihadi beheadings and other monstrosities work similarly.

The possibilities for mayhem around the upcoming party conventions (Philadelphia and Cleveland) now look much darker than just a few weeks ago. Hillary took advantage of last week’s racial strife to deflect the blows she took from FBI Director James Comey in his public remarks about Hillary’s email problem. She went into full pander mode, blaming “white privilege” for the recent enormities involving guns and police. Of course, that will only fuel the “narrative” that whites are wholly responsible for black dysfunction, a false story that will lead to more conflict.

The legal spectacle surrounding Hillary and the FBI left many thoughtful Americans scratching their heads. The most superficial angle was how FBI Director Comey let Hillary off the hook because her “extremely careless” actions involving the email server did not include any “intent” to break the laws. The trouble is, the federal statutes pertaining to the case do not require any evidence of intent; the actions alone are enough to warrant a criminal referral. Mr. Comey skated over this matter. One cute theory circulating is that he didn’t dare to alter history by setting in motion events that would elevate Trump to power. Who knows…?

Much more remains to be seen in the Hillary email matter, because the real issue is not whether she maintained a private email server against regulations but whether she used that email server to stuff the bank account of the Clinton Foundation with money grifted while serving as Secretary of State. You can be sure we have not heard the end of that issue, and beyond that are the questions surrounding her gigantic speaking fees from Too-Big-Too-Fail banks, the texts of which she has resolutely refused to publically disclose.

This latter issue will become increasingly of interest to voters this summer and fall as trouble in the European banks provokes a contagion of banking failures that will thunder around the planet and begin to cause very serious practical problems for daily life in all the so-called advanced economies. Nobody in and around power in America these days is equipped to manage this epochal calamity, especially while we stumble and blunder our way into race war.

I love starting my week with this painful dose of realism. Thank you.

    Matt in Cali.

    • Neon Vincent July 11, 2016 at 10:07 am #

Including this dose of realism: “Unless the remnants of the Republican Party act responsibly and find a way to replace Trump with a capable candidate, the nation will get what it deserves: a clown in the white house at the climax of the Fourth Turning.”

As I noted last week, the polls don’t support Trump winning as the most likely result. That doesn’t change the conclusion that Trump may be the candidate the country deserves, even if he’s not the candidate that we actually need.

On the other hand, it always warms my heart to read our host reference Strauss and Howe. Their cyclical view of history has really helped me make sense of my lived experience, especially the 20 years or so, when I could look at current events and interpret them meaningfully in terms of going from the Third Turning into the Fourth Turning. The Crisis of 2020 is at hand, just a little early.

In particular, reading Strauss and Howe led me to expect elections in this decade to be organized around a single big issue. This year’s election is, but it’s one I didn’t expect. All issues have been focused by Trump on approval or disapproval of multicultural America. That’s why 2016 may not be 1968, but Trump is worse than Wallace.

Speaking of multicultural America, I have a drink for you, our host, and the rest of his readers, the Diversity Bomb Shot. Bottoms up and beware of the police robot!

I hate to be first. I have passing knowledge of tactical shooting and it is said by many experts that a person under such stress reverts to their training.

The training itself once the gun in hand stresses winning and surviving not policing, and the only de-escalation is in the other person stops moving.

Case in Chicago a drunken fool of a black kid was staggering about after having some run in with someone and the cops show up, gun comes out and some idiot cop blanks out and puts 16 rounds into the kid, many of them while the kid is twitching about on the ground.

I don’t have the answers but I do know that social theories banking on “Magic Dirt” are not working no matter how much virtue signaling.

    • Being There July 11, 2016 at 9:37 am #

Read this by Paul Craig Roberts:

Police Murder Because They Are Trained To Murder

It is paradoxical that training US police in the violent methods of the Israeli occupying forces is justified with the argument that it is necessary to save American lives from terrorists when the actual result is far more Americans killed by police than by terrorists.

If you dont know which group does most of the killing in USA you are stupid.

I know you wont like reading that but I had to post it.

Some things are forbidden to be mentioned, let alone criticized, by any accredited commentator in the mainstream media. Dr. Roberts is a legitimate critic but, even he knows where the boundary lines are.

The very fact that certain groups are beyond criticism means that those groups are absolutely worthy of a siege.

    • Dumbedup July 11, 2016 at 6:11 pm #

True. And unlike our host I believe that in these cases the police acted out of frustration and quite possibly out of racism or a macho-rambo disregard for those they serve. They don’t think about their livelihood, reputation or their families in those situations.

  3. shotho July 11, 2016 at 9:17 am #

I agree with you, Matt. It really isn’t a matter of optimism or pessimism, but realism. It seems that we are in something of a race war already, even though my personal experiences with black people are always respectful and pleasant on both sides.
Mr. K is also correct that our national problems will fade in light of the global financial problems that are beginning to manifest with alarming rapidity. How long will the powers of central governments and their central banks be able to keep the lid on? We are about to find out.

Just in case anybody thinks voting for Hillary is voting for the lesser evil, here is yet another reminder that there is no lesser evil this election cycle.

    • Dumbedup July 11, 2016 at 6:12 pm #

Donald Trump is the worse candidate to ever run for President. Much worse than Hillary – and she is pretty bad.

  5. newworld July 11, 2016 at 9:28 am #

It is interesting that the D party is putting forward at this time one of their least respectable cargo cults, the black racialists. In Chicago they defenestrated the blacker than thou black political leadership, a subjugation so severe you would have to go back to the collapse of Reconstruction to find such an example.

Its all staged political theatre, I suppose next week we get the Gay Sturmtroopen demanding cake baking by hapless white Christian small business owners, week after that we get the Hispanic racialist uprising and somewhere between here and November Asians have to have their bit of theatre of the absurd.

When do the nice white sophisticated liberal people for Global Climate Control get their moment of political theatre?

James, you are suffering from the deleterious consequences of a massive brain fart. News flash…. the cops are out of control, and contrary to what you may believe, there are rarely negative consequences. You need to view the recent PBS Independent Lens documentary, “Peace Officer” for a true understanding of current events. The main character was a now-retired sheriff from Utah whose son in law was gunned down by the cops. How about the Asset Forfeiture Laws that entitle the cops, regardless of probable cause or even a conviction, to seize your assets and it’s damn near impossible to get it back. It makes me nauseous to continue with this topic.

    • wpa_ccc July 11, 2016 at 9:44 am #

      “there are rarely negative consequences”

In many cases there are positive consequences, like being placed on “paid administrative leave” … Which means you don’t have to work, but you continue to receive pay and have lots of free time to mount your defense, with the help of the police union.

      • ffkling July 11, 2016 at 9:23 pm #

The cops have abandoned their long-held commitment to protect and serve the community. Now it’s us (police) against them (aka civilians). What explains this sick desire to inflict violence against the public? All too often, the police use paid informants who are incentivized to make claims. Imagine you are a law abiding person and at 3:00AM your front door is kicked in, your family pet is shot and killed? The only logical conclusion is that your home is being invaded and you have a duty to defend your life and property. Guess who also gets killed? This is not an imaginary scenario but happens all the time. The cops will NEVER admit wrongdoing even in the face of criminal conduct. Then the police chief turns the unwarranted killing of the young man into a pity story about the harm done to the cop who kills. Unbelievable. We must demand accountability, and shame on the gutless politicians for failing to demand change.

    • elysianfield July 11, 2016 at 12:01 pm #

“…. the cops are out of control….”

Hmmm, one million cops in this country, a handful of shootings…100,000+ Blacks in Chicago, 2000+ shootings to date.

      Do the math.

      • Dumbedup July 11, 2016 at 6:16 pm #

Not a good idea to generalize is it. Unfortunately, it happens every day to blacks and Muslims. That’s why they are harassed, discriminated against and sometimes shot. Someone assumes they are up to no good for no reason other than their race or religion.

        • elysianfield July 11, 2016 at 7:08 pm #

          D’up,
In a Ghetto where no whites are to be found after dark, how does a policeman manifest his racism and bigotry as you describe? How does he choose his victims when everyone he sees is black? Does he target every 100th black he sees? Does he only assault the young ones, or septuagenarians? As I worked in the described environment for four years, I would like you to tell me just how I used race to harass and discriminate.

          Please.

          • newworld July 11, 2016 at 9:49 pm #

Social just warriors always project, no doubt your antagonist is a racist, not the end of the world except we have to deal with crazies like that.

It’s like the old tourist joke in Africa, “What is the difference between a tourist and a racist? About two weeks.”

Or you end up like a psychopath like Steve O if you cannot accept reality.

        • Janos Skorenzy July 12, 2016 at 1:23 pm #

Generalizing is thinking – inductive to be exact. So let’s rephrase your statement: Not a good idea to think is it. And you are doing a great job of not thinking about Blacks and Muslims. You just accept that they are “victims” and victims are great people – unlike those evil Whites.

Much of prejudice is in fact postjudice or judgment after experience. The least racist Whites are the ones who don’t know Blacks and who just accept the TV as their authority.

    • shotho July 11, 2016 at 12:52 pm #

Apparently, you actually believe that PBS is motivated to produce anything that does not fit its agenda, liberalism.

    • michael July 11, 2016 at 7:19 pm #

You watched the legislature pass the asset forfeiture laws and did nothing. You watch the police shoot people and do nothing.
Then don’t be surprised if they come to seize assets or shoot you.

  7. Being There July 11, 2016 at 9:31 am #

    Good post Jim.

I don’t agree with everything you say on race issues, however…that said….I see all of it as staged, even the Dallas execution. Don’t believe we went from a few suspects some of whom were in custody to one. The narrative is always a-changing—every time!

    About the Hill,
Thanks to Project Globlalism and the special place that the Clintons hold in this scenario, she was put in place as Sec State for a very real reason and that was to further the agenda of well….you get the picture when we say this is global.

So my theory is that she worked out a quid pro quo on that which she was instructed to do in a deal for the Clinton Foundation. She had to do all this in the privacy of her home in order to pull off the deal.

She could use her position to make money for the foundation and there were certain gray areas….let’s just say…….

So the black box is Comey. You have to figure there’s something bigger than this election that cannot be exposed.
Some people choose to remain among the living.

    • ozone July 11, 2016 at 9:47 am #

      BT,
I get your slightly veiled points and I agree.
Going forward, all we can really say for certain is that TPTB are going to have to deploy extreme distractions, both awful and often as worldwide events begin to affect more and more people (usually the least with the least) who can’t get out of the way.

      • Being There July 11, 2016 at 10:00 am #

Yes, I think that what they’ve done is moved the middle class into the precariat. The working struggling poor with no security while those in the inner circle make untold $$$$.

They have their tactics, much of it is to create a constant state of fear and you know what happens historically when they can gin it up whenever they want in as many ways as possible.

In the meantime they continue to put more and more people into economic (and real) depression as the top tier needs to continue this to the enth degree and it will go up the totem pole, gouging the rich how are not connected on the way.

But of course the untouchables are never hurt—-that ain’t capitalism and it sure ain’t democracy……so where are we going?

    • sprawlcapital July 11, 2016 at 10:07 am #

      BT,

For those of us whose usual response is to reject conspiracy theories, events of the week just past are enough to make us reconsider that view.

      • JimInFlorida July 11, 2016 at 3:27 pm #

Conspiracy implies close coordination of forces to effect a certain outcome. It’s too narrow a description for what’s happening.

I would proffer that we have two complimentary forces at work.
Consensus based on Mutual Blackmail and plain old Vested Interest. The latter which includes the power to protect that interest.

It smells like Conspiracy because of how the actors are too close by to ignore.

        • ozone July 11, 2016 at 7:19 pm #

          JIF,
Okay, to cover your particular requirements, we’ll just call it “a vast conspiracy/collusion”. Hope that gets it done for ya. 😉

I found it intriguing that when FBI Director Comey was questioned this past week in Congress with, “Did the FBI ask Mrs. Clinton during her interview any questions regarding The Clinton Foundation?” and Comey said, “I’m not going to answer that.”:

      https://www.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/4rqu4w/was_the_clinton_foundation_tied_into_this/

“Is the real scandal The Clinton Foundation”? by Michael Hudson:

      http://www.counterpunch.org/2016/07/11/is-the-real-scandal-the-clinton-foundation/

Had I been the one questioning Comey I would have followed up his answer with this question:

“What is the reason for you not answering my question?”

      • Being There July 11, 2016 at 4:20 pm #

He can’t if he doesn’t want to expose the quid pro quo. That would be a disaster. AND that’s what runs the show.

    • Dumbedup July 11, 2016 at 6:17 pm #

Bill worked out the quid pro quo with Loretta Lynch. Comey was just playing his part.

Speaking of the destruction of the middle class Ben Bernanke is up to his evil ways over in Japan, a government specifically tasked with destroying its modern country, and impoverishing its nation.

Basically saving money is at worst a useless endeavor if the Banksters and Government stooges can light inflation and destroy your savings.

Actually for us peons we do suffer from inflation, from food to taxes for a bloated government, but it seems that is not enough inflation to keep usury in business.

Big bank failures are as much a political calculation as an accounting calculation., Lehman brothers was nothing but a political hit job on a company with the worst balance sheet and the worst lobbying effort. Bernanke was part of it, he as evidence proves removed liquidity the banks needed those days, nor did he shutter Lehman and hold an auction of its assets and liabilities.

When Ron Paul wanted to audit the FED we suddenly found out he was a virulent anti-Semite, whod a thunk that. Even Ben Stein piled on in that account, bravo.

So if we need a political crisis a bank will fail, if not the FED will purchase its crap bonds and basically lend it money at below cost and voila FED feudal capitalism.

Damn right the fuze is lit….that’s the hissing noise I hear when I go outside into the real world (or maybe my tinnitus is acting up.)

All this past weeks “frolix” are just the appetizers to the main courses at the smorgasbord (a term much preferable to the pedestrian “buffet”) of global bizarreness and hyper-violence.

Race war potential has been constructed, by the government and the Demonic-Fuckers-In-Charge, in this country, and around the world for that matter, over the last 50 years and it is terrifying and fascinating to watch at the same time.

I suspect the Republican Convention that commences next week will be preceded by some frolix in Cleveland that will ensure continued escalation of the USSA style pandemonium we so richly deserve.

BTW, Extrajudicial killings are now set precedent in the land o’ the free, so be verrrry careful. As JHK has inferred, the rule of law (not men) we’ve always been assured of, is unraveling quickly, and former criminality is being expunged by our vaunted law-givers.

Those of us who think that iron-fisted authoritarianism is going to fix our predicaments, are in for great disappointment, because this country is (and has been) headed straight in that direction. Careful what you wish for, because those who yearn the most for power have the fewest scruples. …Take that Clinton woman, for example.

Actually in medeval times methods were employed which would eliminate copycat crime in our time. I’m not advocating it but if Micah Johnson were to be imitated sawing the imitator in half or having four horses pull his limbs off in public view with prime time news cameras in attendance would put an end to the copycat.

Every man dies but not every man lives‘ was fine for Braveheart. I guess he thought poking the queen was worth it but seriously I do not want to be tortured to death and I doubt I’m alone in that sentiment.

As a historical example Airplane hijackings to Cuba were once common but were stopped after Castro got sick of them and started throwing hijackers in four foot by four foot prison cells.

“Unless the remnants of the Republican Party act responsibly and find a way to replace Trump with a capable candidate, the nation will get what it deserves: a clown in the white house at the climax of the Fourth Turning.”

Jim, if by that you mean that “the Donald” is going to win in November, I think you’re mistaken. He basically has the angry white vote sewn up, but the remaining 65% of the voting public wants nothing to do with him. There are states in play this election that have reliably Republican for a generation.

I don’t perceive Hillary as clown. More like a political/crime boss from the alcohol prohibition era. Maybe that is another parallel between the 1920s and now – financial system setup for a long deflationary period along with government corruption caused by prohibition.

    • Being There July 11, 2016 at 10:13 am #

Yeah, but it’s so much bigger than that…cuz National isn’t so important in a world where the modern nation state is becoming a colony for CEOs and central bankers.

Back at the National front, you need to understand that the Republicans created this scenario for many years and the chickens have come home to roost. I’ beginning to call the GOP Koch-heads because as I’m reading “Dark Money: The Hidden History of the Billionaires Behind the Rise of the Radical Right” by Jane Mayer

I’m finding out just how insidious these people and other Billionaires are in finding a way to influence the system indirectly through think tanks and controlling education. Now they have successfully brought about the austerity model of the Austrian School
—-but there’s one huge problem: If you are imposing austerity in a consumer model economy where does that get you?

      • shotho July 11, 2016 at 12:58 pm #

And, of course, there are no billionaires behind the rise of the radical left. I wonder what you think about the politically correct censorship in education that allows the “progressives” to control all aspects of discussion.

There ya go – back to square one: complete moral superiority. Stop being such a virulent naïf. The biggest contributors, like Goldman Sachs, fund both “parties”.

Their best bet is, rather than try to squeeze a little more profit from a failing capitalist system, just to control government and fiat currency. They can enslave us with debt create a new feudalism where we all work for them.

A lot can happen over the next four months.

As of now, 56% of those polled by ABC believe Hillary Clinton should have been indicted by the FBI:

      http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/majority-disapproves-decision-charge-clinton-emails-poll/story?id=40445344

And now Chaffetz is issuing a referral to the FBI regarding Hillary Clinton committing perjury before the Benghazi committee.

There is a very good possibility Comey will get her for that prior to the election on November 8th. And Obama “pardoning” her will not help her cause.

On the eve of that election I do not believe the American voters will be in the mood to elect a pathological liar as President of the United States.

Right now folks I talk to are completely disgusted with Sanders, and after he campaigns with Clinton and formally endorses her in New Hampshire tomorrow there will be a collective barfing sound heard coast to coast by his supporters.

Most Sanders supporters I talk to are registering with the Green Party and are going to vote for Jill Stein. Some are even going to vote for Trump as a giant FU to Clinton.

We are all in for lots of surprises leading up to November 8th.

      • DrTomSchmidt July 11, 2016 at 2:46 pm #

STein looks like a good protest for leftists who hate the Corporatist Democrats, and Gary Johnson for Republicans who hate Trump. It means Hillary might get only 25% of the white vote, with 10-15% going to Stein.

She would still win in that situation, unless Trump can talk to blacks and Asians (I’m guessing Hispanics won’t vote for him, if they vote much at all.) Trump has been VERY careful not to blame blacks, and last week talked about the shooting of Castile sympathetic to the victim. He might pull 20% of the black vote.

That would be the best thing in halting a race war, as the Republican would know he would need to do something positive for blacks, unlike Obama and the first Clinton.

    • Janos Skorenzy July 11, 2016 at 2:48 pm #

You’re forgetting that the best of Bernie voters wont vote for Hillary. And the best Hispanics don’t want more Hispanics. And the best Blacks don’t either. They’re voting for Trump.

Only the worst Whites aren’t voting for Trump.

“Given the universal hyper-awareness of the current mood around the country, I doubt that policemen would throw away their livelihoods for a few thrilling seconds of malice.”

When strong emotions, like fear, take over, rational thought goes right out the window. IMO those policemen were only thinking about not being killed by a perp with a gun. Abstract concepts like pensions and lawyers come after the adrenaline has died down.

    • Being There July 11, 2016 at 10:16 am #

Ha, or you can look at it a whole different way of institutional racism in the police and justice system. That’s why it’s been so hard to prosecute any of these lynchings by police.
Don’t tell me it doesn’t exist…..I once heard an email by a judge in the midwest on the news where the judge is calling Obama a dog and worse. If it happens there where else is this attitude.

Who knows how this is being used to force our focus on this instead of the global finance debacle….either way we’re screwed.

      • SteveO July 11, 2016 at 10:45 am #

A white officer sees a black man and a fear reflex triggers. Throw in a population where there is at least one gun for every man, woman and child and you get what we are seeing.

That basic assumption that a person is someone to fear just because that person has dark skin is the definition of racism.

I don’t know what is said behind the scenes at police stations, so I can’t say if the departments encourage racism or not, but it certainly has that appearance, and with the way things are now appearances matter.

As for the diversion thing, when I have my tin-foil-hat days, I start to think Trump was set up by TPTB to make sure Hillary gets elected so that the banking fraudsters wouldn’t do prep walks when the crash comes.

        • KarlDehrmann July 11, 2016 at 11:58 am #

I have friends in law enforcement, and have spoken with them about this. They admit that there are some bad apples in the LE community, but believe most cops are by and large trying to be fair to everyone. Two points stuck with me:

          1. Young black men commit a disproportionate amount of crime compared to all other groups. Whether this is due to a legacy of slavery, societal racism, different cultural norms, wealth inequality, or results from a 75% illegitimacy rate and lack of fathers is besides the point. Officers have more confrontational meetings with young black men than any other group. When that is your day in, day out experience, it creates distrust.

          2. The ubiquitous nature of cell phone cameras and dashboard cameras is showing the middle class public a world they could comfortably ignore in the past. Just like embedded reporters in Vietnam showed Americans the realities of war, the public now gets to see the realities of police work. Street fighting, whether or not the Police are legally justified, is an ugly business. It always has been. It shocks the sensibilities of your average White, middle class liberal who then directs their outrage at the police.

The other problem, which is just now starting to manifest itself, is that all of the negative attention directed at the police is discouraging quality candidates from seeking out police work. One of my friends is involved in the hiring process at a small department (inner suburb of large rust belt city). Total applications for new spots has dropped from 300-400 applicants to less than 100. This will undoubtedly lower standards and give us a less effective, more mistake prone police force in the future.

Oh c’mon. You’re not part of that anymore so you don’t have to defend them on an anonymous blog. They’re human and the public are now their enemy. The days of helping little kids learn to ride bikes are over. And of the enemy public, Blacks are by far the most dangerous. Not to fear them is the epitome of foolishness.

          • elysianfield July 11, 2016 at 7:22 pm #

            Janos,
I did not say that policemen do not experience hatred, fear and loathing, I was responding to a question that asks if DEPARTMENTS encourage racism…they do not.

Racism causes nothing but trouble for the administrators…politics, budgets, lawsuits, demands for their termination…nothing but hell for those politically appointed.

        • Janos Skorenzy July 11, 2016 at 1:54 pm #

Given that Blacks murder at seven TIMES the rate of Whites, such fears are entirely rational.

You simply haven’t done the research and wont accept the results of those that have. A Liberal in other words, a naïf.

      • Janos Skorenzy July 11, 2016 at 1:50 pm #

You’re getting your wish: the Police are already falling back from high crime areas, leading to even more Black on Black killings. You just can’t face reality. And if shown it, will reject it since your own precious fantasies about “racism” matter far more to you. And NO, you don’t care about Blacks either. It all virtue signaling.

        Pernicious.

You misunderstand me, Steve-O. Of course strong emotions take over. But they have to over-ride other very strong emotions (fears) of losing one’s livelihood for acting rashly. — JHK

Not having been in combat I can’t speak from personal experience, but I suspect that fear of being killed pretty much cancels every other fear in the moment.

        • elysianfield July 11, 2016 at 12:19 pm #

“but I suspect that fear of being killed pretty much cancels every other fear in the moment.”

Young police officers, like young, un-blooded soldiers, most often feel invincible…fear is rarely felt or observed at the street level, until a bit of seasoning, marriage, children, etc. change the dynamic. I can say with honesty that I only felt “fear”, or maybe an uneasiness once in four years, working the Ghetto during high-crime hours. What is often felt in tense encounters is more of an…excitement…anticipation. Officers who become fearful usually leave the employ of urban police departments, often to join departments in smaller venues.

      • Newton Finn July 11, 2016 at 11:17 am #

Mr. Kunstler, while you are wrong about racism not being a major factor in the excessive and pervasive police violence that is plaguing our nation, you are right about the “intent” issue which supposedly provided an excuse to let Hillary off the hook. As one who practiced law for 36 years, let me assure you that the “intent” that the criminal law is usually concerned about is only the intent to commit the act in question–in this case, to set up and use personal electronic devices to conduct sensitive and/or confidential governmental business in an official capacity–as distinguished from the deliberate choice or desire to commit what one knows to be a criminal act. This distinction between the legal and the ordinary definitions of “intent” is the bedrock principle from which flows the familiar saying that ignorance of the law is no excuse.

        • messianicdruid July 11, 2016 at 12:12 pm #

There is no way to know how the “law” will be used when there are multiple definitions of the words being used by attorneys (word twisters) look it up. These officers of the court do not serve you.

When you are asked if you understand the charges always say NO. They mean you to think comprehend, but actually you are confirming your volunteering into a system whereby they may steal your money, your liberty and your dignity by standing under their form of “justice” and mercy.

“The tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.”

This happens in the courtroom? You are not obligated to speak or answer questions without representation. “Do you understand” is a question the judge asks, not LEO. Your next response, “No, do you?”

At a certain point, crime leads to social breakdown. That is the case in Black Cities. Trying to police such people, leads to mass resentment – as if the Police are the ones to blame for their ruined lives. Thus Crime imperceptibly can become a low level civil war. That is what we are headed for, egged on by a media owned by half a dozen Jewish Billionaires. We know why the Blacks hate us, but why do the Jews? And the real question: why don’t we break up these anti-American media conglomerates with Anti-Trust legislation?

        • JimInFlorida July 12, 2016 at 9:02 am #

Knowledge of the Khazars, the Talmud, and the natural proclivities of Semites is key to understanding why they act as they do. The Iranian (Persians) have NO FEAR of pulling back the curtain; calling out the Semites and their deeds. The Western media demonizes Iran constantly for that reason. I’m not Iranian or Persian but, what they charge is out in the open for anybody to see.

The biggest and most destructive clans are the Dönmeh Jews of Saudi Arabia and Turkey. They are crypto-Jews who took on the mantle of Wahhabism to hide their identities. Don’t just call me a bigot. LOOK IT UP.

The Zionist Jews hate us because their own Talmud regards us as cattle and have no soul. Behind all of America’s social disruptions over the past 50+ years were Jewish NGO’s. Do a little research and the truth will show up in plain view. Start with Herbert Marcuse, the New Left movement, Cloward and Piven, and take it from there. It’s a bottomless pit.

The one thing that Jewish NGO’s hated more than anything is any large body-politic of non-Jewish Whites. They bent over backwards to pollute such areas with 3rd Worlders and then told the White Goy that they were being blessed with DIVERSITY. The past tense of that comment is no accident. It’s no mystery that such uncontaminated bodies of Christian Whites cannot be found in Amerika today.

My only concern with your information is the misuse of “semite”. Originally Shemite, a descendent of Shem. It makes a difference in describing who you are talking about and the unraveling of the impersonations used to hide their tracks. Many Shemites are honorable folks.

Surely not the whole sect or even the whole House of Saud though. Bin Ladin loathed the Sauds even though his family was in with them. He gave up a lucrative position to live in a cave and fight them. And it’s said he had many sympathizers within the Saudi elite.

The late Edgar Steele wrote a bit about the Donmeh and of their being behind the Armenian Genocide.

          • JimInFlorida July 12, 2016 at 4:07 pm #

Yes, there are always exceptions but, the trend line tells the truth of the matter. Those points that significantly deviate from the mean cannot be used to deny what the trend line has established about the Zionist Jews.

I don’t like making sweeping generalizations but, what’s written in the Talmud is written. What has been done cannot be undone and the common tie to all the evidence cannot be denied. The names will NOT be changed to protect the guilty.

The translated Farsi of the Persians tells the story better than the polished English of the MSM talking heads.

Nobody in and around power in America these days is equipped to manage this epochal calamity, especially while we stumble and blunder our way into race war.

It could get complicated. America is no longer black and white but black white and brown. This could produce a three way conflict. Imagine not the red white and blue being ripped apart from being pulled two ways at once. Imagine it being pulled apart from every corner and on all four sides so when it rips only scraps remain.

Racial conflict could provide the distraction and fear necessary to put Clinton in the White House. Enough people think of Trump as a clown so as troubles escalate a serious politician will be wanted. Americans no longer being serious citizens but clown electors themselves will continue to then mistake Hillary for a serious politician in even larger numbers than now. The deception will succeed.

The only thing more certain than financial collapse is JHK predicting it. There is the possibility of financial collapse before the election yes, but regardless Hillary will be spun as the solution to any problems which happen with the same determination planning and coordination that completely removed Bernie from the headlines.

Your chains are being yanked people and you let it happen. The fourth turning is being twisted into reality by selfish myopic clowns. For the most part America will be getting what it deserves. Chaos will rule because reason has been thrown away no matter which of the two clowns choices gets elected.

Nobody has their eye on the ball.

  17. Elrond Hubbard July 11, 2016 at 11:02 am #

Panic, Jim. The death of Philando Castile boils down to one thing: the officer panicked and shot him.

The police officer in question is named Jeronimo Yanez. I avoid watching snuff videos of any description, but I heard audio and read the transcript of Diamond Reynolds’ video. If I came across someone not in uniform who was as agitated as Yanez was and who had a gun, I would duck for cover IMMEDIATELY.

The problem of police shootings in America can be traced to two facts:

    1. Lots of people have guns, and police officers know this.
    2. Black men are scary.

Like any African American, Philando Castile understood that he was scary. Knowing this, he dealt with the officer who pulled him over using the great care and deliberation of someone who was well aware that his life was truly, truly at stake. He verbally advised Yanez that he was armed, that he had a license to carry, and when asked to show ID he moved carefully and deliberately. Then Yanez shot him anyway out of panic because Castile was a black man with a gun. That part may not be on the video, but it’s more consistent with what we do know of the aftermath than the idea that Castile was the aggressor.

Jim, I find it hard to fathom your dismissal of police shootings on the basis of “doubt that policemen would throw away their livelihoods for a few thrilling seconds of malice.” Shootings of this kind aren’t premeditated, they happen in the moment. The officers aren’t stopping to consider consequences, and if they are, the record shows they have good reason to believe there won’t be any. Putting this construction on it is worse than inaccurate; it feels like a half-conscious shifting of blame onto the victims, tantamount to dismissing the problem outright. Why should anyone not be held responsible for the manner in which they do their jobs, especially when that may include committing homicide in the line of duty? Even a justified shooting is still a homicide and needs to be held to an appropriate standard, but the death of Philando Castile was not justified. Officer Yanez killed him because he was scared of him, and in a panicked moment, lost control and let fear take the wheel.

It’s not a black-men problem. It’s a police problem. That’s the message that Black Lives Matter is sending, and it’s one that many, many people prefer not to hear. As for Micah Johnson, he’s nothing more or less than the black Dylann Roof. Two murderers, one motive: to drive people apart and turn a problem into a war.

As for Trump, I would suggest anyone watch the following video and give it some thought. (I Hope the link works.)

    https://youtu.be/VgjRXK_vsTo

Would Trump accept a payoff in order to throw the nomination? You bet he would, if he felt like it. Anyone who thinks otherwise just doesn’t understand the man. Being Trump, though, and a master of kayfabe, if he does so he will spin it as a coup against himself by the GOP establishment. The GOP establishment themselves will happily play along with the bit because they truly want him gone that badly. And the rubes who take Trump seriously will believe it. The fact that this leads to yet greater chaos and political unravelling down the line would trouble Trump not at all. If it happens, colour me unsurprised.

    Interesting times.

Every cop knows that his continued existence is a matter of the blink of an eye, a moment of inattention. It amazes me that they come to regard it as routine to test the imponderabilities of approaching a traffic stop situation.
There is one element of the Philando Castile story that I am waiting to see discussed. That is, from the video, he appears to be in the passenger seat. If it was a traffic stop, the officer would be asking the driver for license and registration.

        • Elrond Hubbard July 11, 2016 at 1:07 pm #

I heard the same — the passenger was using the front-facing camera on her phone. The app reverses the image so that she sees herself as if she’s looking in a mirror. Otherwise, your image on the screen moves to “your” left as you move right, etc. — it gets confusing for the user.

It is all very strange. I grew up in the Mlps. area and where the shooting of Castile happened is not in the hinterlands where one might expect Barney Fife police inexperience/incompetence. The location of this shooting is very close to Mlps. proper. It is also strange that Castile would be seen as threatening with women in his car. I hope others find this as strange as I do because the strangeness means not jumping to any conclusion without a lot more facts.

I do not see chaos or “race war” … I only see one lone shooter in Dallas with easy access to guns and the military training to use them effectively to kill people, which was the point of military training.

I applaud the Black Lives Matter movement for their nonviolent protest and openness to having a conversation. I applaud the police when they respect and protect the BLM movements right to protest. I applaud those whites who are marching in solidarity.

Far from chaos and race war (fears in the minds of privileged whites) what I see is a liberal democracy at work, and working well. The election will not be cancelled. The economy will not collapse. The U.K. will not leave the EU. Donald Trump will not be elected.

This summer I have made a considerable effort to grow food that will keep in my cellar. I’m pretty sure I can feed myself and a few close friends when it all falls apart, which appears to be more in evidence every day.

Racial strife is just another way that we are divided and forced to avert our eyes from the real problem. If all races decided to live harmoniously today, They would find another way to divide us tomorrow.

    • Janos Skorenzy July 11, 2016 at 2:06 pm #

For the races to live harmoniously would be unnatural since competition is natural. In order to overcome that, you need a huge all powerful federal or world government, one that will play favorites. And guess what? They have slated your race for death.

Don’t bother gardening if you don’t understand competition. Even Mushrooms depend on dead or dying organic matter. Is it frightening? Oh yes. As a boy I watched wasps stunning caterpillars and then laying eggs INSIDE them. They would then eat the caterpillar alive. I knew I had come to the wrong place after I saw that….

I found a raccoon in my chicken tractor about a week ago. He killed eight chick’s and ate one of them. Three had escaped while the door was open. He couldn’t get out, so I went and got my shotgun. I opened the door and after about five minutes he made a run for it. I got off one shot and while I cocked the weapon and put the light back on him he had disappeared into the trees. I sat out there forty minutes looking for eyes in the branches.

He had moved a fifteen pound rock I had placed in front of the door. I fixed the lock, put large rocks all around the cage and have set a trap. It may be something else digging and moving the rocks. I can’t imagine a raccoon with buckshot in his arse coming back for more.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/12/upshot/surprising-new-evidence-shows-bias-in-police-use-of-force-but-not-in-shootings.html

Tidbits: “…when it comes to the most lethal form of force — police shootings — the study finds no racial bias…”

“… In the tense moments when a shooting may occur, are police officers more likely to fire if the suspect is black?…
in tense situations, officers in Houston were about 20 percent less likely to shoot a suspect if the suspect was black. ”

Hope the above was within fair use guidelines.

“One cute theory circulating is that he didn’t dare to alter history by setting in motion events that would elevate Trump to power. Who knows…?”

The theory is really “cute”, but I don’t see Trump subverting the rule of law in the country.

Apparently, the disgust by American intellectuals of Donald Trump figure overweights the apparent danger of destroying the working democracy in the US, and along with it “everyone’s livelihood”.

    Too bad

    Hitlery,
White Americans need to do a better job of listening when African Americans talk about the seen and unseen barriers you face every day.” — Hillary Clinton, Twitter, July 8, 2015

“If we broke up the big banks tomorrow,” Mrs. Clinton asked the audience of black, white and Hispanic union members, “would that end racism?

“Would that make people feel more welcoming to immigrants overnight?” —

Black murders multiple police and her message is “White people need to listen”?!

    • JimInFlorida July 11, 2016 at 1:13 pm #

Hillary Clinton has nothing to offer but focus group tested, cookie cutter, campaign rhetoric.

If she wants to solve Black problems, how about a Black JOBS Matter! campaign promise? A full 1% Wall Street Sale Tax on all securities turnover would generate hundreds of billions of dollars and would finance another New Deal-style mass hiring for public works and ongoing maintenance of what get built and/or restored.

How about a 15% import tariff from sweatshop countries with obviously cheaper labor costs and arbitrage advantages? Price controls to make the manufacturer and distributor eat that cost. To which the incentive to move manufacturing back into the U.S. would look attractive.

Blacks and poor Whites need the kind of jobs that they are fitted to do. The kind of jobs that are in very short supply and there’s NO EXCUSE for that. There are tens of trillions of dollars piled up in a few hands, thanks to 35 years of Reaganomics and Thatcherism. Time to tap that stolen wealth.

I agree, I believe a tariff on the cheap labor imports and the price controls to be the way to go. Also the wall street tax would go a long way in paying for needed infrastructure projects, as long as certain conditions were met.

My wife bought three yearbooks (1959, 1960, 1961) the other day at an auction. Her uncles and cousins were pictured, and she read about several of her own teachers when they were younger.

The business sponsors were extensive. Pages of small mom & pop businesses proudly supporting the schools and their children’s edumacation.

Then Walmart came to town. Then left. Now there are a tenth of the small businesses here, all struggling because many of the things people want to buy are not available, or in some cases they drive 30 miles to buy something not available here and then several other items that were, but since they are already here and they are getting them cheaper (whynot).

There were 11 gas stations on main street having a price war which got the cost of a gallon down to 17 cents when my uncle was working there. My dad pumped gas etc. at Texaco for twenty years raising six of us.

She gave one yearbook to her aunt, but is keeping the others.

It is quite interesting, not to mention disquieting, to see how uncertain we are and this really almost universal sense of foreboding that permeates all of us. I travel from the most remote flyover places to the major urban conglomerations, everyone from the most disenfranchised to 1% are hunkered down in their own particular “worldview”.

I personally have little use for either T or C but she seems destined to ascend to the throne. And I think her foreign policy history is what should concern us most not least her villainization of Putin which is extremely dangerous. In my view everything else is secondary at best. Our entire foreign policy for the past 30+ yrs has created a set of global circumstances that are now completely out of control. HC has been an architect of that policy and continues to be a true believer, whatever “adjustments” have been forced upon her by Sanders, et al during this campaign show will be abandoned upon coronation.

Only if Putin misbehaves. I have a feeling Putin will fall in line and not challenge Hillary. She has bigger balls and the ability to destroy Russia. She is more of a military hawk than Putin. Putin could have easily taken Ukraine, but he fearfully settled for a stealth invasion of Crimea.

Hillary is like a black hole and has many personages caught in her orbit. If she were suddenly taken out, the gravity well would instantly disappear and the captive bodies in her orbit would fly off and be lost in the political Abyss. Putin is no fool, and he understands the implications of NATO’s eastward push far better than the chattering classes who live in the Washington, D.C. hall of mirrors. He’ll defend his country and its interests like he’s supposed to do, and if that means a return to nuclear confrontation, he’ll have us to blame. The single, solitary feature of a Trump presidency that I find attractive is that he might not pursue this reckless course.

When you read about how she decided to attack Libya, with no regard for W’s taking out of another brutal Arab dictator and unleashing chaos in Iraq, you recognize right away that this person is not qualified to possess the imperial power and presidential scepter. Trump actually criticized the decision, in Retrospect, to attack Iraq and went after Jeb about it. I give him a lot of credit for that.

I am always so disappointed when JHK trots out his reflexive racism. I understand, I think, a bit of why he does it and his framework through which he looks at it – which is culture and the debasement of it, but still it IS racist at its core.
I have a strong feeling he does NOT have any middle class or working class blacks in either his family or his immediate friend or career circles and so feels free from annoying criticism by those people…
Just over the 4th of July we had our usual family picnic at our house ( we are white and have no black family members) to which or daughter and son in law brought their dearest friends – the best man and his wife, the matron of honor from their wedding who were in from out of town. He is black and she is white. He was raised in an upper middle class black family. His sister is a professor of art history and his briother is finishing a master’s in Psychology. His parents were very strict. He is an attorney at a well respected firm.
As the evening wore on the topic went ‘there’ from some relatives. His stories of being harassed and abused by police both in his home community( where we still live now) and the community of which he works now were eye opening to my and my husband’s relatives on the bigoted end of the spectrum….
Walking while black is a real thing. He drives a nicer but not imported car and gets pulled over and pulled out of the car at least once every month or so for the ‘broken tail light’ excuse. He had to give up running because he had been thrown up against police cars and cuffed too many times to make it not a serious life threatening risk. He sticks to the gym now.
Being followed in stores – even wearing a suit is a daily occurrence.
How many white people would accept living like this? None that I know….
Then all hell broke loose with the cop killings and then the killing of the cops in Dallas. And our relatives, whom I though finally might be ‘getting it’, reverted back to their entrenched racism.
I guess JHK is just like them – steeped in prejudice from his early years and close minded…. Too bad – he has so many good points about society and its future otherwise….

You demonstrate that any discussion of racial problems automatically makes somebody a racist. That is exactly why we have so little coherent discussion about it. Want someone to blame for all this animus and misunderstanding? Blame yourself. — JHK

      • lostinspace July 11, 2016 at 2:23 pm #

But only if that somebody is white, no?

      • merf56 July 11, 2016 at 3:23 pm #

But I am not all that certain you really necessarily want a discussion on this particular topic JHK. Because that would mean having to deal with the daily humiliating and dangerous experiences of people like the young family friend attorney I mentioned and respond to what it might be like had you had to experience such things. . An experience that most white men have never experienced. Not even once. Why doesn’t he count and others like him? How can one not see reflexive racism in your words that ignore such experiences?
You get zero argument from me on some of your points raised in the past – improper use of language, provocative dress and attitude, wallowing a victimhood instead of action etc but that really is a small piece of the overall pie here don’t you think?

I would enjoy reading a longer piece from you at a later date regarding the experiences of middle class professional black people and your views on how it might feel if you were treated that way across the lifespan. Cheers.

    • DrTomSchmidt July 11, 2016 at 3:12 pm #

Oh, “racism,” where is thy sting? What do you mean by racism? I no longer understand the charge.

That having been said, we have allowed a police state to envelop black Americans, and now it’s got us all in its clutches. Higher black crime rates have justified it in the past, but we all probably commit three felonies a day, to cite the title of a recent book. We either back it down or we all go down.

      • stelmosfire July 12, 2016 at 7:43 am #

    • Dumbedup July 12, 2016 at 9:37 pm #

Some might say we can’t speak the truth about racism because it’s not politically correct. It is a hard thing to address because if you use the word “racism” you are accused of racism. So maybe we should try and define what is non-racist and make that the ideal to which we aspire.

In Europe the Italians and Germans are pointing at each other and saying your banks are more rotten, no, YOUR banks are more rotten.

The Italians want taxpayer funded bailouts. No matter that their financial institutions are sewers of corruption, actually, the whole country’s a sewer, taxpayers (meaning Germans) should cough up. Or else. Or else what you ask? Well, you don’t want to know.

Of course, the northerners harrumph, look down their noses at the dissolute, indolent Latins, and pound the table. Nein, nein, nein, they say, no taxpayer money.

Nein, they say to the Italians, there are clear rules to deal with bank problems. And, in addition, if you don’t want to have these problems, get to bed at a decent hour, get up early, get your ass to work on time, stop with this siesta nonsense, screw your girlfriend on your own time and not the company’s, do a decent day’s work, pay your taxes. And pay back your damn loans.

The Italians point to Deutsche Bank and laugh. If D Bank goes swirling around the toilet they retort, do you want to bet there will be taxpayer money galore?

Remember D Bank, the one with trillions in derivatives glistening on its books? The three-letter agencies like the IMF and the Fed wring their hands publicly over D bank’s ruinous state, its stock price hit 12 bucks, down from over 100. People say this smells like another Lehman.

People say that 17% of Italian bank loans are non-performing, that is, no hope of repayment. Ever. I cringe to think. Could it possibly be that German banks suck worse than that? Well, just ponder the lunacy of that derivatives number.

We always knew about the slith-fondlers in the underbelly of Europe but you wonder if the Krauts lost their marbles up there. What was that D bank derivatives number? 70 trillion? How can it be that a teetering avalanche of shit from that one balance sheet can be allowed to bury the world economy? How is it that nobody’s in jail over that? Oh yeah, maybe like Holder said, too big to jail. And like Comey said, no evidence of criminal intent.

“No evidence of criminal intent”. Remember that phrase, you’ll be hearing it a lot. See, this is the elite’s get-out-of-jail-free card. They gave one to Hillary, they handed them out like bon-bons on Wall Street. The law enforcement authorities make a big show of doing a diligent investigation and then sigh and shrug, palms spread outward in resignation and regret: sorry, no can do, no prosecutor would lay charges, no evidence of criminal intent. This is meant to reassure you of due process and the rule of law. Are you reassured?

This is now established practice. The Manhattan crowd brays that it’s the new normal. Get over it.

You see re-enaction in riots. One guy throws a rock, or grabs merchandise from a shattered store front, and the guy beside figures, ok, if he did it, I can do it too.

What we may have, according to one pundit I read, is a slow moving riot, the rioters in this case not in close physical proximity like a howling mob on the street, but rather disconnected by distance and connected instead by TV and social media. So, in this scenario, someone does a shoot-em-up and gets a lot of attention.

Next up in this scenario is some loser in the next town or state saying to himself, gee, that looked like fun, maybe I can make something out of my nothing-loser life and make people take notice. And so you have yet another shoot-em-up.

Of course the question is when these seemingly disconnected pop-up shootings, like bubbles in a heating pot of water, turn into a rolling boil.

      • wpa_ccc July 11, 2016 at 3:38 pm #

        Jen,

It occurs to me that Charles Manson can die happy now that the race war he tried to start is becoming reality. I’m sure he is grinning ear to ear. Just like the riots after Dr. King was assassinated no one knows how or when this will end, that is my recollection of those days.

In Charles Mansons 1960s, USa had 12? million Blacks.
      Now 40+ million.

      Found this online,
How blacks can be allies to whites-

      Stop raping white women

Stop stealing from white people, particularly the elderly and vulnerable

Stop breaking into white people’s homes and assaulting them

Raise your ‘keeds’ in two parent households with respect for authority and the law while paying for their upbringing WITHOUT the help of the taxpayer

Stop using slanderous terms such as “white privilege” and “white supremacy”

Stop utilizing lies and deceit to get your way and to pin the blame for your actions on others

Turn down the music after midnight so people with jobs, school, or other obligations can get the rest that they need

Stop supporting any black convicted of any crime no matter what

Clean up your trash and stop littering

Stop using profanity and racial epithets in public, especially around children and seniors

Stop complaining about white people and do something to better yourself or your community

      Stop equating revenge with “justice”

Allow more qualified white people with an actual work ethic to take your undeserved spot at your “job”

Call other blacks on their racism

Stop being such blatant hypocrites when discussing or complaining about anything

Thank God daily that you live in the U.S. and not Africa

{I would add, stop the block voting’ on juries]

The status quo is the real “winner” in all this. While the Left in the US is on some kind of Chicken Little witch hunt about who or what is behind the 400-odd police shootings that result in death in the country, deadly & seemingly monolithic problems tear through the underbelly of society like Leatherface’s chainsaw from his massacre in Texas; a nation in real climactic crises & the yet of unknown impacts on potable water & agriculture, ongoing infrastructure troubles, a continuance of the decline of education on every level, and the stranglehold generally on the US by the “cartel theory” of economics.

The theory of Agenda Setting by the media is in full view everybody, and if it weren’t the occasional tragedy of the 400, it would be some fucking shark in Florida eating poor little Tommy’s right hand off (or whatever).

“There’s very little mention of what is undoubtedly the craziest, most dangerous, most expensive and brutal of his policies, Trump’s plan to deport roughly 3 percent of the current U.S. population in 18 months.” These were essentially treated [by the press] as just more colorful performances, courtesy of a blustery reality TV star.

But these weren’t just throwaway lines — they are Trump’s signature policies, however much he’s trying to rhetorically massage them now. But we’re now four months out from the election — where the rubber should be meeting the road. So how about some details? How much would it cost to deport $12 million? How many tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of personnel would it require? Would a new agency have to be started? How many orphans would be created? A million? What does a country do with a million new orphans? Who pays for them? How much would our taxes have to go up? Would they have to double? And how does a religious test to enter the country — whether from a “terror state” or not, work? How do we determine who’s a Muslim? Someone that goes to services once a week? Once a month? Someone just born to Muslim parents but who isn’t practicing themselves? Do we give them lie-detector tests? Given that these are Trump’s signature policies, it’s now time to fill in the details and costs.

And it’s not just Trump who should be asked. Yet as he has consolidated the nomination, Republican politicians have been allowed to get away with endorsing Trump, yet at the same time distancing themselves from Trump’s signature policies. Saying you endorse Trump but not his attitudes about race, religion and immigrants is like saying you endorse Bernie Sanders, except for his attitudes about inequality, Wall St. and campaign finance. It’s like saying you love LeBron, except for all that basketball, or Usain Bolt, though you’re just not comfortable with the idea of someone running fast. Or that you approve of Cookie Monster, but not his approach to sweets. Trump’s xenophobia, racism and extra-constitutional strongman bullying are the entire package — and no politician should be allowed to endorse Trump without being forced to own that package.” –Arianna Huffington

“Given the universal hyper-awareness of the current mood around the country, I doubt that policemen would throw away their livelihoods for a few thrilling seconds of malice. They know exactly what happens after the gun comes out: suspension, investigation, end-of-career, possibly civil prosecution, lawyers and more lawyers, a special hell of lawyers, and no way to make a living in the meantime. In a word: ruin.”

Exactly, and precisely why the immediate culprit for the death is most likely the training, while the latent racism can be blamed for the victim being stopped by the police over 50 times.

Police training has been militarized and has been parasitized by the typical traveling roadshow hucksters, usually retired SF soldiers and hardboiled cops from big violent cities like LA and NY, that train cops in “street survival”. Survival is the zeitgeist. People will attend your conference for courses on gun drawing and shooting, covering and moving, dynamic entries, and hand to hand combat, but not so much for recognizing biases, deescalation, and how not to kill people.

JHK thinks we are in the 9th inning of the credit/monetary inflationist racket but consider we may only be the the 3rd inning. Japan is going to send he helicopter up again and the EU, if Germany gives its consent is going to as well. If they don’t its curtains for the EU as a political union and that’s what we want. A United States of Europe.

So if Germany goes along its the end of austerity and the ECB will monetize a lot more sovereign debt. This is an offer no politician can refuse and citizens love it too.

That leaves the US and we will allow the deficit to expand again ,it has stopped shrinking and begun growing again as a percent of GDP, just enough to keep just enough people happy.

If we, the collective we, the English speaking world, the EU and Japan don’t do it then China wins this capitalism game and we can’t have that. What I mean by that is China won’t and can’t stop its monstrous credit expansion.

Sure it might be the 9th inning but I am leaning to an earlier inning.

Meanwhile, Khodorkovsky speaks with frank promise to organize a coup in Russia, which apparently targets the part of the American elite, who is obviously hesitant in the final result of their support for Killary Clinton since her victory in the elections in the United States will inevitably lead to the fact that her overly made-up mug will be pushed against the nuclear fist of Vladimir Putin.

Hillary is simply mocking the US

She climbed on stage and dances some vile cancan with a poster in her hands: “And still you gonna vote for me!!!”

She seems constantly capable of coming up with more nasty tricks to show the Americans that an old witch can wipe herself up the Constitution, the Presidency, US history, Democracy, the US economy – all what US citizens just recently were proud of.

Anti-Americans can celebrate – more humiliation of US personally I can not imagine.

This may be the first time a “bomb robot” has been by law enforcement against a suspect, but this is not the first time the police have bombed American citizens on American soil.

In 1985, the Philadelphia Police Department bombed the black radical group MOVE. The bombing, which was approved by the city’s mayor, destroyed 65 homes and killed 11 people, including five children.

There was widespread outrage and although the department faced scrutiny, no one faced charges even after multiple grand jury investigations.

Ronald Reagan was just earning his bones and enabling his Law n’ Order policies to set the tone for the next 30 years.

Closer to the action was Attorney General Edwin Meese, FBI Director William Casey, and the BLACK DEMOCRAT MAYOR of Philly at the time, Wilson Goode. He is quoted as saying, “I would do it again.”

Whether it had to be done or not, NOBODY can blame Whitey for this! The BLACK MAYOR had the power to approve or deny the operation in his city.

Good points. Now what about Chesty giving that young killer and breaker of the Gen-ee-va Convenshun, a bar?

Was looking at the old photographs: the White Men who conquered this continent were frightening – the hard eyes, many of them with thousand year stares. They were much closer energetically to the Skin Heads and Gang Members than they are too the average office or factory worker of today. Of course they were better men for the most part. No doubt they softened up with their children, wives, and friends. But their usual state was one of fire and granite. Lots of lead flying around too.

Union Grove wouldn’t have lasted a season without such men. Certainly not the years until Job’s people arrived.

Brexit coincides with two nuclear nations – India’s and Pakistan’s entry into the SCO

    http://www.voltairenet.org/article192705.html

UK exiting the EU at the same time India and Pakistan become members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (OCS) is an acid test, proving that the world is alive. De-globalization is at work.

Brexit shifts a geostrategic plate and this will have serious consequences for the new global order, now defined as having three poles, with the US, Russia and China occupying one each.

In the short and medium term, Brexit ranks of equal importance to the fall of the Berlin Wall.

The EU’s scattered geostrategic pieces will be divided up between the US, Russia and China, in the back seat.

Perhaps in selected assertions of the three superpowers, we can locate the core of the new global order, brought about by Brexit: the US declares that Russia has won; China asserts that the dollar has won and the Euro has lost and Russia assures that China has won.

The same day the EU began to implode, the Shanghai Group (SCO) had its 16th summit in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).

Tsar Vladimir Putin and the Chinese Mandarin Xi were in attendance. They approved a protocol for India and Pakistan, the two big nuclear powers to enter.

    The end of an era!

We will see the reappearance of Perfide Albion! For the past century, Amerika and the U.K. have found common purpose and rediscovered the value of common ancestry.

But Perfide Albion has a defect deep in her genes. Hence her name. If London gets its way, they will be China’s banker and clearing house for the Renminbi. The old London-Washington axis will quietly dissolve until suddenly we discover that our old “ally” is now solidly in the Chinese camp.

Perfide Albion is completely deindustrialized and lives on invisible income streams and economic rents – thanks to the City of London’s capitalist predations around the world. They obviously believe that the renminbi has lots of growth potential and will sell their souls to capture those gains.

Let’s see: “rules-based international order.” I wonder if Ghaddafi would have a comment about that? Or Assad.

    Question 1.
Will the string-pullers and their oligarch handlers win again by tweaking the written rules of the “Union”?
    Question 2.
Will they win without a street fight?

    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-07-10/brexit-beleaguered-banksters-back-begging-bailouts

“They [Central Bankers] need to drive fear like a stake into the hearts of the masses and their fellow politicians in order to get the bailouts they lust after while keeping the masses from rebelling Brexit-style against them. Italy’s premier wants to inject state cash into failing Italian banks to recapitalize them. I’m sure that sea chests full of state money would give his wealthiest friends nice chairs to sit on in the lifeboats, but public bailouts are now against the EU’s post-Great-Recession regulations so he’s trying to scare the EU into bending on the regs.” — David Haggith

So, you think he has a shot. Course, Hillary isn’t much better. A vote for Hillary will only mean a vote against Trump. Ah, JHK, so many are suffering. Flooding in West Virginia, Texas, many people losing their homes. Mercy to those born into a nasty system. I misunderstood.

    • volodya July 12, 2016 at 12:46 pm #

He has a shot. But he has to play his cards right. And a lot of things have to go his way. But it isn’t impossible.

At the same time retired Gen Hayden fired the warning shot by saying that his fellow officers might have trouble obeying the orders of a President Trump. I think there’s a reasonable chance that a President Trump may not be stinking up the White House for too long if he’s unlucky enough to win. I think there’s too many rich and powerful people against him. They’ll find a way to get him out.

Reasonable people can disagree on whether or not Hillary is “better”. I think you have it about right, Hillary is such a lousy candidate that, in the main, votes for her will be cast as votes against Trump.

I think that JHK is correct, the problem of her private activities with respect to the Clinton foundation while she was Sec of State will come back to haunt her, but again, like with the email fiasco, this too will be swept under the rug. The last-ditch rationale? No evidence of criminal intent. Of course they’ll go through the motions with a prolonged investigation to make it look good. We’re all for due process aren’t we?

Principled, yes. But not endorsed, incorporated, vested, or recognized by TPTB.

Question: Does Jill Stein have the POLITICAL POWER to achieve any of her campaign goals?

Even though Lord Bush and Viceroy Cheney eliminated the last illusions of a Constitutional government by way of Homeland Security, and gave that power to the Executive, TPTB can hogtie a President Stein and make her a mere bench warmer if they wanted to.

I’m not endorsing the two official Establishment Parties. I’m just pointing out the depth of tyranny that we have sunk to….. and the sobering thought of what it will actually take to wrest back control of our government. What I meant was mercy on them born into a materialistic, unsustainable and sometimes nasty system. For myself, a need to guard against heart hardening. I agree with the larger portion of what you write. A nation usually does get the government it deserves, in any case. Long live the one party system. You’re right. Many problems brought on by over population. We, not unlike other species, maybe worse. What we got is a progress trap much of our doing. Best.

Bloke wanted to rob a jewelry store to finance a race war. Why didn’t he just go to a bank and apply for a loan like everybody else?

“A Virginia man who pleaded guilty to conspiring to rob a jewelry dealer as part of what prosecutors say was a plot to attack synagogues and black churches has been sentenced to seven years in prison.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports http://bit.ly/2a66jNa that 31-year-old Charles Halderman was sentenced Tuesday in U.S. District court.

Authorities say Halderman’s co-defendant, Robert Doyle, told a government informant he wanted to use the money from the robbery to finance a race war.”

I have a gang of raccoons working for me. Second story “men”. I’m like Fagin. All they want in return is to listen to a tape I made: the Chipmunk songs, Muskrat Love, etc. That and a few snacks. Last night at 3 am there was a dozen of them in my living room listening to this crap. I’m laughing and crying all the way to the Bank.

The title to this week’s blog may sum it up. Lit and sputtering. The civil war that James Howard kunstler mentioned a while back is in full swing. I agree with someone who wrote above about mutually respectful encounters with those of color. William the caretaker who polished my mom’s nameplate when she was interred. What a gesture. Or my coworker John who says they always play the race card. I respect police officers but they should be better trained. For example.sir, put your right hand on the wheel your other on the door and start to move out of the car.

William the caretaker? How condescending. Does he stammer and shuffle, and say Yes maam and No maam, too? The picture of you resolves more into focus.

Ask “John” about crime stats and watch him chimp. Fifty or so murders every weekend in Chicago, Black on Black. How can anyone police such people?

There are many races of raccoons. Black and White don’t come into it. I only associate with the higher races of course. They hate the Blacks who hunt them for food.

    A recommendation for the readership;

“Sacred Treasures; Choral Masterworks from Russia”

I purchased this CD over 20 years ago, and it is still the finest bit of Liturgical music,/Choral Music, that I have ever found. Far surpasses the work of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, equal to Schiller’s “Ode to Joy”. Those of you raised in the Catholic Church, and who are enamored of Gregorian Chants will find this music every bit the equal.

I just returned from my shop, having, again, listened to the CD, and cannot express the soulful, ethereal quality of these recordings. The CD is always well represented on Ebay…usually under $10.00…a current sale has one offered under $7.00 (361578747878)…

Sorry for “gushing”, but you really ought to hear this. If you currently have this CD, please comment.

    • JimInFlorida July 12, 2016 at 4:17 pm #

Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

I have a Theosis CD performed by the Annunciation Byzantine Catholic Church. Ethereal and edifying as well. The “Sacred Treasures” would make an excellent companion by your description.

Bernie sells out. As expected by everyone but the hopelessly idealistic naifs that sent him $5.00 contributions and attended his rallies held in progressive capitals, college towns, and other echo chambers. Bernie will go back to the comfort of his senate seat, collecting a paycheck, accomplishing zilch. Millennials ripped-off again. At least they know their role.

Well, Bernie and Warren know that it only takes talk. Their disciples are those easily charmed and influenced by mass media, propaganda mouthpieces (NPR), and adjunct professors. The marketing generation. A cohort of the population never to have known a time other than this one where anyone and everyone considers you a consumer, an empty vessel, there to be brainwashed into handing over money, freedoms, votes, and identity.

In the end, neither Sanders or Warren risked anything. In fact, they head back to their congressional roles more empowered and more widely known. Win-win for them.

      “accomplishing zilch”

Look again. Getting Hillary to agree to tuition-free higher education for families earning less than $125,000 (that’s 83% of families) or getting Hillary to commit to Medicare access starting at age 55 … Those two initiatives alone means Bernie will benefit millions of middle class families. There are other things he got into the platform that will enable independent socialist Sanders to continue to take the fight to the Democrats after the election is over. That is not zilch.

      • JimInFlorida July 13, 2016 at 6:33 pm #

Unless Hillary commits to a full 1% Wall Street Sale Tax to pay for higher education and Medicare For All, then it’s all hot air.

Yeah, I read about that young DNC staffer, 27 years old, from Nebraska, employed by Debby Wasserman Schultz, gunned down in DC in an apparent street robbery. Dead on the street.

A few years ago on a DC subway car a young member of Congressman Jim Hein’s staff was stabbed to death on a weekday afternoon, Homey having had taken a liking to his cell phone. He was stabbed many times in front of many people; nobody helped him. Bled out on the dirty floor of a subway car in the nations capitol.

What a shock, huh, it must’ve been for these idealistic young men, suddenly learning what the score really is, rudely having their eyes opened, discovering the truth … too late, too late! Finding out what the true nature of things is at the very last moment!

Excerpt from a discussion in the book regarding “Intelligence Augmentation” and Transhumanism:
“And who’ll be first to “benefit” from substantial augmentation? The richest? We used to believe evil isn’t disproportionately present in wealthy people, but a recent study from the University of California at Berkeley suggests otherwise. Experiments showed that the wealthiest upper-class citizens were more likely than others to “exhibit unethical decision-making tendencies, take valued goods from others, lie in a negotiation, cheat to increase their chances of winning a prize, and endorse unethical behavior at work.” There’s no shortage of well-heeled CEOs and politicians whose rise to power seems to have been accompanied by a weakening of their moral compasses, if they had one. Will politicians or business leaders be the first whose brains are substantially augmented?”

It’s a MAD, insane rush towards immortality and First-Mover domination of opponents in the development of Artificial Intelligence and Transhumanist technology for the Elite, which is likely to result in a new super intelligent life form which will either through indifference or paranoia exterminate the Human Race.

“”As I’ve said, there’s an irreconcilable conflict between people who fervently desire to live forever, and anything that promises to slow, challenge, or in any way encumber the development of technologies that promote their dream.”

Last thing I remember is the freezing cold, water reaching up just to swallow me whole.
Ice in the rigging and howling wind, shock to my body as we tumbled in, mercy from God.
My brothers and the others are lost at sea, I alone am returned to tell thee.
Hidden in ice for a century to walk the world again, Lord have mercy on the frozen man.

Next words that were spoken to me, nurse asked me what my name might be.
She was all in white at the foot of my bed, I said angel of mercy I’m alive or am I dead?
My name is William James McPhee, I was born in 1843.
Raised in Liverpool by the sea but that ain’t who I am, Lord have mercy on the frozen man.

It took a lot of money to start my heart, to peg my leg and to buy my eye.
The newspapers call me the state of the art, and the children, when they see me, cry.
I thought it would be nice just to visit my grave, see what kind of tombstone I might have.
I saw my wife and my daughter and it seemed so strange,
both of them dead and gone from extreme old age.
See here, when I die make sure I’m gone, don’t leave ’em nothing to work on.
You can raise your arm, you can wiggle your hand, not unlike myself,
and you can wave goodbye to the frozen man.

I know what it means to freeze to death, to lose a little life with every breath.
To say goodbye to life on earth and come around again,
Lord have mercy on the frozen man, Lord have mercy on the frozen man.

Putin advisor: Russia will never again fight on its own territory and we don’t believe a single word coming from the West

The “talk” that Russia would attack the Baltics was “idiotic”, the influential Putin adviser Sergei Karaganov says in an interview with SPIEGEL. “In the event of a crisis exactly these weapons will be destroyed.” Russia will never again fight on its own territory” He adds: “If NATO starts an aggression – against a nuclear power like us – it will be punished”

The Russian media are more restrained than the Western ones. Although you have to understand: In Russia there is a very strong awareness for defense. We must be prepared for anything. Therefore, this sometimes massive propaganda. But what does the West? Nothing but demonizing Russia anymore, it believes, we threaten with an aggression. The situation is similar to the crisis of the late seventies, early eighties.

NATO is now 800 km closer to the Russian borders, the weapons are quite different, the strategic stability in Europe is changing. Everything is far worse than 30 or 40 years ago.

SPIEGEL: Russian politicians, President Putin included, are trying to convince their own people that the West wants a war – to dismember Russia. That’s absurd.

Karaganov: Certainly that’s an exaggeration. But American politicians tell openly, that the sanctions should bring about a regime change in Russia. This is aggressive enough.

Karaganov: We want to prevent a further destabilization of the world. And we want the status of a great power. We can not do without it, unfortunately – this state has become in the past 300 years a part of our DNA. We want to be the center of a large Eurasia, a zone of peace and cooperation. To this Eurasia also the subcontinent Europe will belong.

SPIEGEL: The Europeans perceive the current Russian policy as ambiguous. The intentions of the Moscow leadership are not clear to them.

Karaganov: We are now in a position, in which we do not trust you in the least, after all the disappointments of recent years. Thus the according reaction. There is such a thing as the means of tactical surprise. You should know, that we are smarter, stronger and more determined.

SPIEGEL: A surprise was, for example, the Russian partial withdrawal from Syria. They have left the West deliberately in the dark, about how many troops are withdrawn and if you secretly bring back parts of them. This is not a tactic to gain trust.

Karaganov: That was a masterpiece, that was great. We use our superiority in this field. The Russians are weak traders, they do not like to deal with economics. But they are excellent fighters. You in Europe have a different political system. It is one, that can not adapt to the challenges of the new world. The German chancellor has said, our president lives in another world. I think he lives in a very real one.

It’s a little bit late for Putin to realize that his “partners” are determined to stab him in the back. Putin and the excellent FM Lavrov have no more excuse to treat ZOG-NATO as anything but a vile and rapacious enemy.

Putin should have gone back to Cuba, when he had the chance, and recommissioned the island as a forward Russian operations base. That opportunity is rapidly being lost as Washington, Wal-Mart, McDonalds, Hollywood, Big Pharma, Monsanto, and Coca Cola are amassing for an invasion. Amerika is going to vomit copious loads of our filth on that island and then suction the digested people into the ZOG maw.

With Cuba no longer a sure thing, Putin could rescue Venezuela from itself and get a big concession from Maduro to allow a sizable Russian presence.

Nicaragua’s Daniel Ortega would be happy to host a Russian military presence and Russia would enjoy simultaneous access to the Pacific and the Gulf of Mexico from one location.

While not as strategically valuable, Bolivia would be an enthusiastic partner and Russian benevolence today will pay off when the time is right.

Since the Russian ruble is loaded with landmines, planted after the bankruptcy of the USSR, Putin will have to do old-fashioned value-for-value trading with those countries to project power in a way that matches Washington’s encirclement of Russia.

  74. FincaInTheMountains July 13, 2016 at 6:51 am #

As you know, I repeatedly wrote in this blog that Obama on his mother side is a member of the Bush clan, and on his father is a grandson of US President John F. Kennedy. And yesterday all these exercises in speculative fantastic thinking, combined with the theory of Red-White-Black world projects, suddenly gained flesh and blood, when I worked for 10 hours while continuously listening to CNN.

The fact is that the colored Projects are not about that someone out there in the West is white and fluffy, some black and gloomy, and some red and Jewish.

Colored Projects are about the political history of arts, which allows understanding that the West is a stool on three legs – white, red and black – and if two of three legs are joined into one, it usually results in the conversion of stool on three legs into a stool on two legs.

And it is always from the 11th century leads to the collapse of the West and the war with historical Russia, which at the cost of enormous sacrifices consistently restores the balance in the West, and then gets out of the picture, in part because it does not understand how the West works.

For example, 1812 was the result of the union of white and red legs of the stool, and 1941 – black (Hitler) and white (Mussolini), and Roosevelt was openly red and thanks to the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact together with black as night Chamberlain in Munich has managed to paint in red even Churchill (for some time).

And I was cheering for Bernie Sanders because he certainly symbolized the reanimation (if not resurrection) of the Western Red project that was seemingly buried forever under the rubble of the Soviet Union.

So yesterday I was watching the merger-collapse of the red and black legs of the Western stool real time and first impressions were very depressing.

Reports about the great victory of Hillary Clinton were mixed with reporting on the funeral of 5 police killed in Dallas, which was attended by all major political figures of the US, except for Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, including President Obama and President George W. Bush. And you should have seen the warmth with which Obama and Bush met, the latter immediately began to flirt with Michelle!!!

And in combination with splashes of stories about triumphant Hillary with bloody chunks of Bernie Sanders sticking out of her mouth, all that made for quite a surreal experience.

Initially the funeral reminded lavish funerals of last years in the Soviet Union, but then Obama for the first time since the coup made a speech (his participation in Killary campaign can not be called other than a mockery), and I am sure that this speech will go down in history.

The truth is I was somewhat surprised with quite joyful cries of the public in response to a particularly successful passages and extremely vigorous applause, coupled with equally vigorous CNN anchors, who clearly knew something, surprised incredibly. And then they played the Battle Hymn of the Republic, and I could not believe my eyes, when I saw George Bush went dancing at the funeral of the Dallas police.

Funeral, which at first looked like a funeral of a two-party US political system due to the birth of the National Socialist dictatorship of Hillary Clinton.

I do not know what it was, but now my mood is quite upbeat now, and I think that I again happened to be in the role of a historical witness, witnessing a live birth of either a one-party, or a multi-party political system of the United States, where National Socialist party will not be a dominant force.

There is nothing Nationalist or Socialist about Hillary Clinton.

She is a Globalist and willing puppet of neo-feudal crony capitalism.

I’ve been chastised for asserting that the only cure for this kind of tyranny is the extermination of the ZOG-NATO billionaire class and I illustrated via metaphor how it all works.

In a nutshell, the Global billionaire class is the keystone in an archway, from which hangs the NWO chandelier. The fixed permanent parts are the blocks of the archway i.e. global corporations, central banks, banksters, and the inbred banking families. The Chandelier hangs from the keystone via chain links. Each link represents the visible power hierarchy and visible billionaires we are allowed to see. From the bottom chain link expands out to the ZOG governments and then expands out from there. DESTROY THE KEYSTONE AND IT ALL CRASHES DOWN.

In due course of time, people will finally be sobered up to what has arisen around them and the only cure that will bring it down. There has to be a rebellion at the top of the Global elites and that can only come from Russia.

Now listen up, I’ve told you people before but you just don’t listen. We’re carbon burners, er,…each one of our cells is. That’s calories, and the lesson programed into us by evolution is that calories aren’t always available or easily obtained (which is why our body so easily converts excess blood sugar into stored fat and keeps lean muscle mass to a minimum – it being a caloric liability). Next, our oversized brain is a real gas hog, and when stressed it keeps body metabolism in over-drive. OK, this is where we humans have hit our evolutionary cul-de-sac: You see, E = mc2 is a theory. That is, a concept, like every other concept that constitutes our apprehension of reality (BTW, just another concept). Now, here’s the meat of it: trapped as we are in this “formulation” of reality the psyche busies itself with attempting to order these concepts into a navigable mosaic (certainty), without which it breaks down (clinically). Well, guess what, objective reality offers little certainty = anxiety. What’s the palliative our brain has conceptualized (cooked-up)? Religion, and that includes all the religiously held idealisms (think any religion including Jones Town or the white shirts worn by Indians at Wounded Knee, or all the political “isms”, and……the Liberal Left’s nostrums). All, what I call “shaggy back to Eden stories”. Referencing wpa-ccc’s case, contention that if the Caucasian race and Western Culture were eliminated then all people would be living in peace, the earth could accommodate all eight billion of us, there’d be no die-off of other species, and a thousand angels would be dancing on the head of a pin. But,….now here’s the really tough part; we’re not all that different as a species from a termite colony. Too many “egg-heads” (less inclined to dismiss empirical evidence contrary to prevailing collective “belief”) becomes a threat to the hive like defensive reflex necessary for tribal survival against competition for resources (calories and certitude). So,…well…,they get eliminated, either literally or figuratively (Stalinism, the former, indentured media the latter). My point? Human behavior will not be different in the future from what it has been in the past. If you can bear such understanding you’ll recognize that mom nature has a reckoning in mind much in line with TSHTF warnings that JHK has been signaling.

Finc is a Khazar. His idea for Russia is for it to blend itself out with the Asian peoples of Central Asia and Siberia a la Dugin.

He’s not going to get National Socialism obviously.

        • JimInFlorida July 13, 2016 at 4:16 pm #

[eyes popping open] What??? Finc is not a real Russian?

Oh hell. Well that explains his writing style.

I was intrigued by his claim of a former Soviet life and figured I’d find some insight into that world. I was confused by his lack of warrior spirit towards an openly predatory imperialist Washington.

I figured, as a Russian ex-pat, he should write like Gennady Andreyevich Zyuganov. Instead, he writes like Dmitry Medvedev in his days of infatuation with the Eurogarchs and all things E.U.

          Thanks for the heads-up Janos.

          • Janos Skorenzy July 13, 2016 at 8:42 pm #

Yes, he claims to be a Russian Jew, with some ties and time spend in the United States, now residing in the Caribbean. And he has overtly endorsed Duginism. It’s not my conjecture or putting words in his mouth.

His love affair with Russian Orthodoxy is a fairly recent pose. He was indifferent to it up to recently.

  75. volodya July 13, 2016 at 11:58 am #

Barbisbest, don’t say “sorry”. I’m flummoxed that it’s come to this. How can it possibly be that the country that produced titans like Ike and give-em-hell Harry and FDR and Honest Abe coughs up these two?

And the Constitution is a once in a thousand years document. How do you square the genius of that paper – and the Gettysburg address – with what we see today? How could this have happened?

Have to be honest, I don’t whether to laugh or cry at the prospect of a President Hillary Rodham Clinton. “Laugh” because for all her supposed “feminism” how did she get to where she’s at? I’m not saying she screwed her way to the top. But OTOH does anyone seriously think that without Bill she’d be within spitting distance of the Oval Office? She’d be a lawyer making some serious coin and nobody would be the wiser and history would be flowing down some other channel. But without having married Bill and having been First Lady, which set her up nicely for a stint in the Senate and then as Sec of State, she sure as hell wouldn’t be contesting for the White House, at least, not in any serious way. She’s just not talented enough a politician. She needed Bill’s coat-tails. As they say, ambition without talent is a terrible thing and she’s a walking example of it.

And I say “cry” because why oh why did she marry Bill? What bad luck for us. IMO without that central fact there would be other candidates at the podium. Would they be better or worse? Boy, hard to find someone as bought and paid for as a President Hillary. We know full well where it goes with her in the Oval Office, the same oligarchy that wrecked the world economy and ruined the lives of tens of millions of Americans would have a puppet of their own making right where they want her.

Your point that Trump isn’t going to be Prez I would say is right. Never mind that Trump (and Bernie) sing the songs I like to hear about deliberate policies that sank the prospects of so many people, Trump is intolerable for so many reasons. In a dangerous world the US Prez has to measure his words carefully. IMO the prescription of walking softly and carrying a big stick is the way for the President to behave. That and using said stick very sparingly. Can we count on Trump to do that? To ask the question is to answer it.

But Trump is also intolerable to that same Oligarchy for the same reason that Bernie is. Now, that’s making a big assumption, that Trump not only talks the talk but walks the walk. A big assumption that is. I suspect that if Trump did win in November and if he actually DID act on his rhetoric, his tenure would be short. It could be short regardless. I doubt that the guys that run the show from backstage would put up with Trump and his entourage for very long. By hook or by crook they’ll get rid of him.

Ike was a mass murderer and war criminal – merely Baruch’s creature much as FDR was in the end.

Truman was a True Man compared to those two. But of course, deeply compromised or he wouldn’t have been elected. He pretended to like Blacks in Washington while loathing them back in Mizzou.

“Hillary has endorsed the BLM Terrorist Movement in absolute terms.” –Janos

No more relativism! An absolute endorsement!

Seriously, Janos, you are mischaracterizing Black Lives Matter as “terrorist.” BLM is a nonviolent movement started by Black queer women, not by terrorists.

In Dallas, post-massacre, white and Black protestors are coming together and walls that have divided white and Black people are coming down. Everyone mourns the senseless killings of white police.

“#BlackLivesMatter was created in 2012 after Trayvon Martin’s murderer, George Zimmerman, was acquitted for his crime, and dead 17-year old Trayvon was posthumously placed on trial for his own murder.

Rooted in the experiences of Black people in this country who actively resist our dehumanization, #BlackLivesMatter is a call to action and a response to the virulent anti-Black racism that permeates our society.

Black Lives Matter is a unique contribution that goes beyond extrajudicial killings of Black people by police and vigilantes.”

Excuse wpa-ccc, it/she/he is suffering a psychopathology labeled variously as cognitive-dissonance, ambiguity intolerance an such, manifested in delusional beliefs that all causes and outcomes are product of human will: i.e, if we’d thrown enough virgins into the volcano (or do so future wise) then there wouldn’t have been torrents of toads from heaven (or won’t be in the future). Again, “the shaggy back to Eden story”, this time though all historical “evils” , past and future, revolve around behavior exclusive to Whites and European Culture (not, emphatically, traits inherent in all human populations).

wpa ccc is stocky; with muffin top,
        has mild case of cankles,
short dark hair tied in a bun,
believes cosmetics exist to oppress womyn,
        ALWAYS spells women as “womyn,”
has a poster of Andrea Dworkin in her office,
and always has that, “I’m offended,” scowl on her face.

Janos. William the caretaker of the cemetery, it is not condescending, it’s what he is or was. Actually, I don’t believe that it’s condescending when I took his hand, after the gesture of polishing my mom’s nameplate, (My doubts you would have been as respectful) and thanked him. She taught me many lessons, one being not judging humans by ethnicity. I see she was right! I think William places flowers at the site to this day and he never knew her. Still making friends, imagine. I can see you are in your lizard, amygdala brain as yet, Janos. I only mentioned to point out the respectful interactions I’ve had.

I stated a couple times Trump won’t be president, but I’m not so sure. Here’s what happens, when you have two very disliked candidates, (when have any two been more disliked than these two) it means lower voter turn out because people are so disgusted with both offerings. So, less voters, less democratic votes, more republican votes and Trump wins it. If Hillary were to select Bernie Sanders as a running mate, that ups her chances of winning the election considerably. In all likelihood, that’s not going to happen. I’ve picked half dozen of the last presidents before the election, but this one? Gam zeh ya’ avor. Most things will, eventually, maybe, I expect, please.

That’s a great term, the Fourth Turning. I read the book. It was very informative. Only you JHK and a few can be so cogent. Yes, that’s all we need a reality TV show host as the president for that. Course, we’ve had an actor, a failed business man. That’s probably because, anyone in their right mind (or their left mind for that matter) wouldn’t want the job, so, essentially you can say anyone who wants it is insane. That’d be fitting I suppose, a reality TV show host. Has it really come to this.

I appreciate your candor Volodya up above, and for telling me not to say “sorry”. You’re kind. Sorry seems to cover a multitude of things. . Anyway, I weep, literally do, over the thought of a Trump or Clinton presidency!! The country will go where it will. I wish there were more people that had intelligence to do something better or different, I don’t know. It’s not that men are stupid really, but many of them working to support their families, they can’t stop and think. Sad state of affairs to be stuck with the likes of the two candidates that we are. I guess things devolve and that’s the way it is.

I agree there is a conflict when choosing between the cross and the switchblade. You need both. But the blade and chalice? Blade. Of course we need the chalice too, but always under the blade and under the cross. That’s the only way to keep it honest. Women are born looking up and they respect nothing that isn’t above them.

Yes you are one who chose the switchblade over the cross and crucible. No doubt your greatest regret is that you will be too old to fight in the Second American Revolution. Maybe not! The Revolution is already in its early stages and you have a pen, do you not? And what is a pen but a sword that cuts down opponents? And what is a sword but a pen that writes history? They are One! The pen is the soul and the sword is the body. Neither can exist without the other.

Enough with your Cartesian divisions Life and Will. Take up our sword of spirit. Our opponents are naked, Strike Baron, Strike!*

Nice post. I do admire your selfless postings regarding race and religion. I do not agree with all you posit, but I admire your courage in addressing these “3rd rail” issues. In our current culture, names are being taken, lists made, and, absent of true anonymity, we are all targets.

Do I appear weak and fearful? Of course. In some not too distant “peoples court”, or star chamber we will all be made to answer. Having been in the belly of the beast, I truly believe resistance is futile, and have seen how easily an enemy of the state can be broken on the wheel…completely ruined without effort…families delivered to penury without remorse or pity.

Why sacrifice without issue? We all know the 3rd rails exist…I just try to avoid pissing on them….

I don’t have time to read all the comments this late in the week, but James, sir, if you could try for once to understand what it must be like to live in America as a black youth (or other) where the systemic and systematic racial profiling has demoralised generation after generation… Cut them some slack and stop blaming the victims. for once. please.
And “Not speaking proper English” is not a crime — for the record. Nor is dressing in a particularly clownish way – you boomers were pretty good at that in the sixties and seventies.
You admit elsewhere that there is a void in the place where true leadership should be. Imagine how hard it is to care or to try (to speak proper English, for example) when the system is stacked against you, and there’s little example to follow – articulate Obama notwithstanding)
Please stop pretending that racism is the fault of, or somehow justified by the actions or non actions of blacks. Or that shooting a man dead extra-judicially is always somehow explained by circumstance, presuppositions and confirmation bias. PU-LEEZE!

Generally speaking, I love your blog, particularly when you nail it on finance, politics and energy. But your complete lack of empathy for the black condition in America turns my stomach. It’s downright embarrassing.
(and for the record, I do not condone violence in any shape or form, I do try to understand it. Sometimes racism explains a whole lot)

      Kyoto

Konichiwa! Your post was well thought out, without rancor, and is appreciated. I would suggest that there are wrongs committed on both sides of the racial divide. Fear of violence, loathing of what is perceived to be a degenerate and dysfunctional culture by Whites, an inbred sense of victimhood, absolute suspicion of whites, and violence and crime seen as payback for wrongs, both long past and present.

There are many different minority groups in this country…Asians of all stripe, Hispanics, Russians, Blacks and others. No other minority group demands acceptance without assimilation…except many Blacks. I would suggest that the Blacks who do assimilate, have an easier life in this country, are generally welcomed, and prosper…same for Koreans, Chinese, Hispanics, et al.

The dirty little truth is that no one would object to you if you did not appear thuggish/ violent, dressed well, spoke well, and joined what is left of our civilization…you would be welcomed. It is a cultural issue, not a racial one…really. You will never gain acceptance at the threat of violence.

If this does not resonate with you, well…you have my sympathy.

            Kyoto,

Sorry for my faux pas…I would presume, however, that you have been fortunate enough to not have lived, at street level, in an environment with significant social issues, as are currently being discussed. Too often, in discussions of a racial or cultural nature, excuses are substituted for reasons…most on this site can understand why, through direct apartheid or more subtle methods, blacks came to manifest the issues discussed…it is entirely another issue to forgive them their excesses. I understand their unfortunate history, even sympathize, but do not forgive their actions…and your first post, forgive me, seems to do just that.

          • kyoto motors July 15, 2016 at 10:59 am #

Well forgiveness has many subtleties to it, does it not? When the Amish forgave mass killer Charles Roberts that was a powerful act. But forgiveness cannot be confused with giving permission.
Anyway, I wasn’t really forgiving, since it’s not my place to do so — i’m not directly involved. I’m just trying to understand and explain.
A similar line of reasoning can account for terrorist activity: It’s not to justify a suicide bombing when I suggest it’s an understandable (human, confused, twisted) response to oppression, war, and trauma. When the West is perceived as “the Evil Empire” revenge has its day.
When cops become a symbol of oppression, injustice and racism, revenge has its day…
Forgiveness may be the only good alternative to revenge. Otherwise you have perpetual violence.
And for the record, I grew up in a small city in western Canada in low-income housing, welfare mother, drug-dealer step dad. Plenty of social issues, but I’m white. So yeah, I’m privileged. And I’m out of that mess now… What can I say?

It turns out that Bernie Sanders yesterday endorsed Hillary, but did not withdraw his candidacy from the agenda of the Democratic Convention, and now Hillary can wipe herself up with this “endorsement”.

Anyway, this morning, all members of the movement “Bernie or Bust” are being called up by the activists with the story of how during the primaries in 1932, Franklin Delano Roosevelt endorsed his rival, and then won the convention, and was nominated.

  82. Janos Skorenzy July 13, 2016 at 2:15 pm #

    Attn Kdog:

Faye is equally blunt regarding the Muslim hordes invading Europe. He declares as obvious the fact that Islam is a violent and expansionist religion, and states that, “On the whole, the only time when Islam practices a policy of peace and apparent tolerance is when it is in a position of weakness and when its followers are in a minority.” He discusses the supreme horrors that lay in wait for Europeans forced into proximity to Muslims, paying particular attention to the plight of the French educational system. As Faye states in his chapter on it: “. . . when one resorts to permissive methods and applies them to populations with a delinquent tendency, in other words the kind of population which, culturally speaking, only understands the language of authoritarian power, the result can only be one of anarchy and disaster.” This expands to the entire realm of immigrant youth as a whole. Faye catalogues the massive criminality, extreme violence, and purposeful victimization of whites (the “white cheese” as the Arabs call the native French) engaged in by these youth. As he states, “They are very well aware of the fact that they are conducting an ethnic civil war and that their goal is to aggress against the indigenous peoples.”

The response of the multiculturalist mainstream bears little connection to reality however. As Faye explains, their limitless self-hatred and ideologically-driven guilt mean that any action by immigrants, no matter how horrible, can be explained by them as being caused by white racism. Faye takes aim at the Progressive narrative that: “Immigrants struggle only because of structural inequality and racism, they commit crimes and become terrorists because they are excluded, once they feel as though they belong they will become fully integrated.”

This obsession with race and “anti-racism” not only blinds the European mainstream to the problems brought on by non-white immigration but exacerbates them, Faye declares, stating “Obsessional anti-racism leads to racism.” It also ignores the very nature of human existence and reality, he argues. Europeans engage in a constant denial of “racial facts,” as he laments throughout the book, “. . . never in history has any extensive and integrating political affiliation managed to overcome anthropological and ethnic differences and establish a ‘harmonious politico-cultural mixture’.”

In trying to accomplish goals that so drastically fly in the face of reality, the European elites have engaged in a process of such recklessness, and created a state of affairs so terrible, that one is struck dumb by the full magnitude of the situation. Yet this section of the book — which accounts for the majority of its length — does not come off in a droning, depressive manner, as many political books do. Faye does an admirable job of avoiding getting stuck in the gory details. He mentions the specifics of several historically relevant rape cases, and surely communicates the barbarity of our opponents, yet his writing is too strong and deliberate to become unintentionally mired in such details. Therefore rather than anything dark or brooding, the book reads more like machine gun fire, as Faye hammers out point after point, example after example, to bring the reader to the appropriate conclusions. While it may merely serve as refresher to many reading this review (those already conscious of the full situation in Europe), it is still worth their time to read. I also believe it would be successful in educating an average mainstream reader to the realities at hand, as its unrelenting yet balanced tone conveys authority and rationality throughout.

Excerpted from a review of Faye’s book, “The Colonization of Europe”. How to stop it? Only Civil War at this point. As he says, ethno-pluralism leads to ethno-masochism and then to ethno-treason in very short order. The Governments of Western Europe are dedicated to the destruction of Western Culture and are simply not legitimate any more. As readers may now, Kdog and Elrond to their part by denying the mass rape of European women by Muslim men. Their ethno-masochism has ripened into ethno-treason as they seek to find individual inner peace by the sacrifice of their own race, perceived as evil, to a new race, foolishly perceived as good, but in fact primitive and horrible.

If Europe is going to be liberal about anything now, the governments should PAY women to have abortions if they’ve been raped or otherwise impregnated by these brown animals.

To prevent their reproductive organs from being wrecked from multiple abortions in order to get multiple payments (causing other medical problems later on), there must be a mandatory sterilization after the second mongrel abortion. White women carrying White babies get no subsidy and should pay the full price.

Yes, it’s very racist and discriminatory; as well it should be! It’s time for extreme White self-awareness and self-preservation to come back! Militant White Racism in response to 3rd World and Muslim pollution is the CORRECT and RATIONAL response to such a mass infection.

The pasty-faced White Euro-eunuchs, handwringing liberals, and race traitors just need to be shot. There is no cure for them and deserve nothing less.

Wow, you have to admire those Brits. Three weeks since Brexit and they’ve already installed a new PM, Louisa May Alcott I think is her name. Not only that but within a few hours of giving her acceptance speech she had named the key members of her cabinet.

Did you see the footage of Blond Beetle Boris Johnson arriving at 10 Downing for a 5 minute vetting process? He’s going to be the new “Foreign Secretary”….. not sure what that is… maybe the equivalent of our Sec of State??

Male Brit politicians and Royals simply do not know what to do with their hands. He gets out of a car and jams his hands halfway into the side pockets of his suit coat with thumbs protruding forward. He immediately feels self-conscious with his hands that way so he puts them behind his back, one hand holding the other, leans forward and strides purposefully, then once again feels awkward and jams hands partially into pants pockets.

I have observed this identical hands ritual in old footage of Royals in the ’30s. Also many times with Prince Charles and even with Prince Harry a few years ago when he arrived at the church for his brother’s wedding. They simply are unable to achieve the loose insouciance of an American with one hand in a pocket and the other dangling by the side.

I am thinking it is something they are trained to do and maybe even practice in front of a mirror………. kind of like Black social activists in the US who uniformly achieve an NWA scowl for the cameras….. smiling is sooo uncool.

I asked because of that stormer link you posted. The new PM (Day) has made it pretty clear of her intention to execute Britain’s exit from the EU with the best terms they are able to negotiate including firmer control of immigration.

I thought the stormer emphasis on Day not having children and the shape her mouth forms (very common in Brits) when speaking is just ridiculous. Likewise the fact that she treats Jews and Muslims with respect…she’s a politician for God’s sake.

Michael Jackson singing “Ben” about Michael Brown and Black Lives Matter.

    “Ben”

Ben, the two of us need look no more
We both found what we were looking for
With a friend to call my own
    I’ll never be alone
And you my friend will see
You’ve got a friend in me
(You’ve got a friend in me)

Ben, you’re always running here and there
    (Here and there)
You feel you’re not wanted anywhere
    (Anywhere)
    If you ever look behind
And don’t like what you find
    There’s something you should know
You’ve got a place to go
(You’ve got a place to go)

I used to say “I” and “me”
Now it’s “us”, now it’s “we”
I used to say “I” and “me”
Now it’s “us”, now it’s “we”

Ben, most people would turn you away
I don’t listen to a word they say
They don’t see you as I do
I wish they would try to
    I’m sure they’d think again
If they had a friend like Ben
    (A friend)
    Like Ben

If the choices for VP are indeed just Gingrich, Christie and Spence I think Trump would be a fool to pick anyone other than Spence. G and C have proven themselves to be unlikable and would be a detriment to the ticket. It has little or nothing to do with their ideologies. Perhaps Trump has some fourth choice in mind that he will spring on the world on Friday. I just hope it’s someone articulate but innocuous in case Trump has a heart attack or gets run over by a truck.

It has little or nothing to do with their ideologies. Just contemplate that statement and the reason for the downfall of America becomes clear. In other words, it doesn’t matter because he thinks they don’t believe any of it. And sadder yet, he’s usually right about that.

Q, damn you, it does matter. We really want to stop the way America is going and only sincere people can even begin to help with this. As Ann Coulter said, Christie and Gingrich were very weak on illegal immigration. Almost everyone is – and that means they are clueless as men with moral agency and as politicians who are supposed to be in touch with the people. EVERY Leave voter they interviewed said one thing: Immigration and Sovereignty. And if you can’t see how those two are intimately related, there’s no hope for you. We are as One with our British Brothers in this.

David Duke, the King across the Water. HE will take point. HE will shift the Overton Window to the Right. HE will make Trump look moderate to the voting sheep.

According to rumors General James Stavridis may be proposed for the post of Vice President of the United States from the Democratic Party.

It says only one thing – a team that bombed Yugoslavia is trying to return to power. James Stavridis has worked with Robert Danzig.

Return to old ways of solving contentious issues – by bombings, political assassinations and lies in the media.

Just a couple of months after the appointment of Hillary Clinton as US Secretary of State in 2009, she brought her crew into the Pentagon and NATO. James Stavridis was appointed commander of NATO forces in Europe – position he has held until 2013 – the year Hillary was fired.

A loony bloodthirsty crew, who once had already started the war in Europe, is trying to come to power in original configuration.

So did Hillary Clinton lie in her testimony to Congress about her emails? Yes she did. But, legal experts say, did Hillary Clinton INTEND to mislead Congress?

Again, as I said in my earlier post, this business about INTENT, criminal or otherwise, will be the excuse that the elite will be using to justify their abuses.

As the legal experts say, for prosecutors to prove INTENT is a very high legal bar, so it’s a handy work-around when there’s laws that the elite find inconvenient. But it’s pretty much irrelevant especially when there’s no intent to prosecute the elite in the first place and especially when the intent is to find ways for the elite to circumvent laws.

How will they accomplish this other than findings of no criminal intent? Selective prosecution is one way. They close one eye to law-breaking if the law-breaker is wealthy and well connected. It’s a method that’s faster and cheaper than conducting an investigation and it cuts to the chase and gets the elite law-breaker off the hook.

A two-tier legal system? You bet, one for us, one for the aristocracy that’s taking shape right under our noses. Rest assured that this “intent” excuse won’t apply to you and me.

    • messianicdruid July 14, 2016 at 2:06 pm #

Where is Pence on the One issue: stopping illegal immigration?

There are other issues – but they are for the living to deal with. Unless we seal our borders, we are not alive and so nothing else matters. Thus all depends on this right now. And in dealing with this, we are dealing with Scum who will have to be dealt with on the other issues – so in a deep sense we are already engaged in those other issues even as we focus on just this One.

Anybody not right on illegal immigration is unlikely to be right on anything else – like Muslim “refugees”, Trade deals, or legal immigration.

I’ve come to realize that the majority of posters here are imbeciles, but how do you not know that the role of VP of the United States is a worthless and meaningless… sinecure?

The selection of VP is ONLY about getting votes. The other 2 possibilities were major turnoffs (Gingrich and Christie). This guy is a nobody, except for the TP type folks who need reassurances…

        • JimInFlorida July 14, 2016 at 4:53 pm #

Technically, the VP does have a few token roles. Mainly as a presence in the Senate albeit a minor one.

POLITICALLY, on the other hand, the CHOICE of VP will either confirm or confuse a Presidential candidate’s branding. The choice of VP will either reassure the grassroots support or tell them that they are no longer needed.

Trump could have found a better VP than Pence. He probably did a slimy backroom deal to gain GOP insider support. Trump’s main claim to fame is the Art of the Deal. We’ll find out whether it was just hype or not.

The shooting of the Dallas Police was the first bell to the Civil War, but maybe it was not the first, it was the second bell. It looks like the first bell to the Civil War was the fact that President Obama called the worst day of his presidency, or rather what followed.

And stopping this civil war is possible only by recognizing this danger and pulling it from the public unconscious. And this was done by Miss Alabama-1993, who now works on TV.

Sitting in her car, she called the shooter Micah Johnson of Dallas a “Martyr”, meaning a hero who gave his life for justice, or for Christ. Since her DVR was connected to an Internet, immediately it became clear that her emotions are shared by millions of black Americans and tens of thousands of whites.

A few hours later, she repented and of course, I’m sure, sincerely, but the word is not a sparrow – when it flies out you can’t catch it back.

And it is not known if those who initially shared her emotions repented as well. And certainly not repented those who shared the emotions of the awarded with medals, honorably discharged from the US Army Dallas shooter Micah Johnson.

And her work on television was suspended, and she is now being grilled by Hannity on FOX5.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DzzMEwf1GW4

And all this is happening against the backdrop of the presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton, who just in front of everyone wiped herself up with media (that is, the freedom of speech), the two political parties, the US president, the director of the FBI, the Attorney General and is going to take away the Second Amendment to the Constitution, which gives Americans the right to create a militia to resist such political figures as Hillary Clinton and the terrorists, which she has brought and going to bring more from Syria as her personal guard.

A short while back, I read expert opinion as to why terrorist attacks were not occurring in Italy and Spain. The conclusion, of many experts, revealed that despite their rather superficial liberal extravagances, both countries, deep inside, are rather fascist, particularly when it comes to law enforcement and national security.
Beatings, deportations, executions and pre-judicial detention.

“Republicans will never admit it, but they cannot dispute the very inconvenient truth that if the Bush warmongers did not invade and occupy Iraq and destabilize the entire region, there is no such entity as ISIS today, and Friday evening in Paris would be like any other; peaceful and without mass mayhem. However, America did invade and occupy Iraq, killed at least 600,000 innocent Iraqi Muslim civilians, and allowed Shia Muslims affiliated with Iran to drive Sunnis and Baathists out of their Iraqi homes and into Syria to struggle to survive and eventually create a new terror organization, the Islamic State.

Remember, there was no al Qaeda or terror groups in Iraq because the iron-fisted Saddam Hussein would not allow it. It is true that Saddam was a tyrannical dictator, but under his firm hand there was relative stability in the region, Iran was kept in check, and Syria was not under siege from terrorists or experiencing a civil war. All that changed drastically, and for the worse, after George W. Bush lied to Americans and the world in order to justify invading an innocent nation posing no threat to America. An invasion and occupation, by the way, that many nations, including France, are now having to step in and join President Obama in cleaning up George W. Bush’s creation ISIS.”

Hillary said that she will bring in 10 thousand refugees from Syria even before she becomes president and now her people are selecting them in Turkey and Jordan. And once she becomes president….

Who do you think will be these refugees from Syria that she is going to bring to the US? Remember the New Year’s Eve in Europe? Also refugees! Actually, Trump is talking about that, he knows the issue – he was working for her for a long time.

    • JimInFlorida July 15, 2016 at 7:02 am #

Diversity VISA Program. Immigration Act of 1990. Crafted by Leftists and signed into law by the Coward-In-Chief, GHW Bush. Repackaging Muslims immigrants as “refugees” must also be called out, hidden laws cited, the guilty who crafted the legislation, and the promise to REPEAL such laws and policies.

Until Trump starts citing the dysfunctional laws that enabled such immigration to take place, then he is just spewing hot air. He has to have a hard target to aim at and get the public’s anger steered towards the cause.

Trump will have to do the unthinkable and indict Republicans for their complicity with Leftist Democrats in deliberately undermining the traditional American demographic. One must go back to 1960 to find the last image of true America.

Thus, Trump will present himself as the CURE for the problem that both Republican AND Democrat voters can identify with. Right now, Trump is still seen as a Republican, which will enable Hillary to keep her captives in bondage to the Democrat Party.

Trump can peel off ex-Bernie supporters by playing some old New Deal cards i.e. an import tariff against sweatshop countries, taking up Labor Union causes, a compromise on the minimum wage (instead of a sudden $15/hr, a $2/hr increase every year), and lots of New Deal-style public works programs. Play the old New Deal cards or be forced into Hillary’s stronghold of the New Left.

There have been cases of island and african ‘immigrants’ doing beheadings and cannibalism, in USA.

One grisly case was in San fran. a head left by a tree in a park.
Insider said, ‘voodoo’, in 3 days the head will have the body left there.
        Police ignored that tip.
In 3 days, the body was dumped there.

The State Department has been totally rogue for some time. Their agenda is to increase the immigration from so many non-traditional emigre reservoirs as possible. They hand out immigrant and non-immigrant (but guaranteed overstays) like candy. Nobody tracks the numbers. Embassies and consulates are de facto citizenship franchises. It is apparent that the imbeciles-in-charge are not going to take the proper measures against the Yzlamik terror.

Whoever did/does this – their corpse must be defiled.
Then their whole immediate family needs to be “disappeared.”
So sorry but everyone is involved now and there shall be consequences.

    Oh I forgot.

Francois Hollande will make his saturnine pronouncements and after the usual hand wringing and wreath layings will go back to importing tens of thousands, and hundreds of thousands of Yzlamik invaders into France.

From across Europe the politicians will share sympathies and condolences, lock arms in solidarity; and next week will import hundreds of thousands , indeed millions of Yzlamik invaders into Western Europe.

These leaders are not only imbeciles – but are TOTALLY FUCKING CRAZY!

    When does this end?

When a leader arises who will use every means to exterminate the Yzlamik threat that threatens Europe and verily the entire world. Yes it will come to that. It’s a death match between Yzlam and everyone else.

    WAKE UP EVERYONE.

    Are you “Special”?

“Though we live in an era of relative peace and comfort, we have settled into a mood of pessimism about the long-term future, fearful that our superpower nation is somehow rotting from within. Neither an epic victory over Communism nor an extended upswing of the business cycle can buoy our public spirit. The Cold War and New Deal struggles are plainly over, but we are of no mind to bask in their successes. The America of today feels worse, in its fundamentals, than the one many of us remember remember from youth, a society presided over by those of supposedly lesser consciousness. Wherever we look, from L.A. to D.C., from Oklahoma City to Sun City, we see paths to a foreboding future. We yearn for civic character but satisfy ourselves with symbolic gestures and celebrity circuses. We perceive no greatness in our leaders, a new meanness in ourselves. Small wonder that each new election brings a new jolt, its aftermath a new disappointment. Not long ago, America was more than the sum of its parts. Now, it is less. Around World War II, we were proud as a people but modest as individuals. Fewer than two people in ten said yes when asked, Are you a very important person? Today, more than six in ten say yes. Where we once thought ourselves collectively strong, we now regard ourselves as individually entitled.”

      She has health problems.

      LOL!

A 69 year old coughs and “she has health problems” ?

MIAMI—Following a series of attacks by his opponents on inconsistent policy statements he has made in the past, Republican Donald Trump reportedly said:

“I suffer from severe psychological issues, and I desperately need the help of mental health professionals.”

Sources said Trump’s acknowledgement of having debilitating cognitive and emotional impairments that rendered him wholly unfit to make important decisions for himself, let alone for a nation of 320 million people, drew raucous cheers and applause from the audience.

“I am sincerely afraid of what I might do to myself or others—please, someone help me. What people need to understand is that I’m plagued by very real and very serious mental health issues that leave me with considerable mental deficits and sharply distort the reality I perceive,” said Trump.

“Look, folks, I have a crippling, intractable personality disorder, exacerbated by ongoing chemical imbalances in my brain, that is manifesting itself as an acute, long-term manic episode. Let’s be clear here: I lack the sound judgment, impulse control, and ability to regulate emotional responses that a rational, mentally healthy human being should possess.”

“I am sincerely afraid of what I might do to myself or others—please, someone help me,” Trump continued, as the crowd erupted in a standing ovation.

“Many despair that values that were new in the 1960s are today so entwined with social dysfunction and cultural decay that they can no longer lead anywhere positive. Through the current Unraveling era, that is probably true. But in the crucible of Crisis, that will change. As the old civic order gives way, Americans will have to craft a new one.”

Pence has described himself as “Rush Limbaugh on decaf.” Well, Trump is the Red Bull, or the 24 hour energy drink, so what else would he be?

I haven’t seen Pence “in action” yet, so maybe he won’t be viewed as the safe sidekick who can’t at all eclipse the beaming sun of Trump. If they really wanted to, both Christie and Gingrich could do so, although neither of them ever matched what Trump just did.

A politician and a lawyer who supported the “lube pit” man, Cruz, in the primaries. Makes you wonder. Is Trump that worried about the evangelicals and the old conservatives? Looks like it. Pence does not help with women, the LGBT community, or minorities.

Could this pick essentially reveal a flaw in Trump’s personality, by way of his ego?

Official declaration of war means the activation of “Trading with enemy Act of 1917” and those who are now in the United States surreptitiously helping DAESH will be the customers of the Act, which provides as awards imprisonment as a minimum.

The precedents in 1917 and 1943 indicate that the law is retroactive, which, as you know, should worry Hillary Clinton a lot.

Hillary is near the top of the chandelier but, she’s not one of the chain links that ties the chandelier to the keystone. There are ways to ignore the old established laws and Hillary is part of that conspiracy.

You see Finca, the French have already capitulated:

He can’t seem to make up his mind, but the last sentence is reality speaking.

  127. volodya July 15, 2016 at 12:12 pm #

So now French security chief Calvar is warning of civil war between France’s rightists and Muslims. He’s sez that confrontations are inevitable with punitive expeditions into Muslim enclaves.

As sure as we sit here, as with every other Muslim attack on western soil, expect that our leaders will be lambasting us for Islamophobia, again ludicrously misrepresenting mere disgust as a PHOBIA. Oh and xenoPHOBIA, can’t forget that now can we, again an absurd overstatement.

See folks, you’re not only racist bigots, even when race as defined by skin color has nothing to do with anything at issue here, but you’re also nuts, you’re PHOBIC, you have a serious psychiatric disorder.

The more our soi disant “leaders” engage in such rhetorical idiocy, the more they make it likely that the “punitive expeditions” that they’re supposedly trying to ward off actually take place.

Or would it be engaging in conspiracy mongering to wonder if retaliatory strikes against Muslims is what they’re actually trying to encourage? That would absolve our – cough – “leaders” from having to take action. See, they’d just outsource action to non-state actors, this time non-Muslim non-state actors. That way our purported leaders can have retaliation while keeping their own hands clean and their own noses in the air while they deplore the same retaliation. They can play to their own “tolerant”, “sophisticated”, “educated”, “multi-culti” liberal base by having a good sneer at the low-down, intolerant, racist goons that carry out the attacks.

A dangerous game they’d be playing in fomenting civil conflict. But then again, these are the same globalist crew that were instrumental in opening immigration floodgates and simultaneously depriving millions of their compadres of livelihoods via offshoring, all the while sneering at those same people as racists and xenophobes when they complained. If that in itself isn’t playing with dynamite I don’t know what is.

It needs to be reframed, and reframed correctly.
It’s war against a mental health issue.
A war against a mental disease.
It’s fear of a mental disease, and religion really is a mental disease.
It has nothing to do with race, sex, or color, the disease infects all.
Until humanity comes to grip with the widespread mental disease of religion, well, death from it will continue to ensue.

From what source did humankind’s many cultures arise? Why from cults. A cult is a joining together for worship – that is, the attempt of people to commune with a transcendental power. It is from association in the cult, the body of worshipers, that human community grows.

            Russell Kirk

          • Frankiti July 15, 2016 at 4:20 pm #

This is something everyone can agree on, a hated target that brings everyone together, familiar territory. But hating the actual people who are doing the killing? Far too threatening. So much easier to have unity concerts, light candles, and leave stuffed animals around.

The English woman is insensitive in the normal human way. The Elite have demanded that we accept being savaged by Muslims and people are accepting it. It’s the new normal so why condemn her and not the architects of the new normal?

      • JimInFlorida July 16, 2016 at 8:21 am #

Perhaps people are turning against this English woman because she has trivialized a very serious infection on the European continent. At least, I hope that is the motive. In reality, though, cucks everywhere will blame her for not understanding the “culture” of Muslims.

If organized Labor in France wants to have a truly worthy cause to riot over, this ongoing Muslim invasion is ideal.

Why isn’t militant French Labor burning down mosques and randomly beating Muslim males? It seems that ‘Murika, Britain, and France are in a three-way competition for the titles of Surrender Monkey.

Trump has a number of symptoms from the DSM-5—the American Psychiatric Association’s primary disorder classification text—that incessantly plague him, including delusions of inflated worth, power, knowledge, and identity, making a strong case for his having a severe persecution complex.

Trump exhibits a lengthy list of comorbid conditions—among them narcissistic personality disorder, bipolar disorder, and certain elements of paranoid schizophrenia. Trump presents several features of psychopathy, including pathological egocentricity and a total lack of empathy.

      DSM-5

      • JimInFlorida July 15, 2016 at 1:23 pm #

The ONLY DSM that is credible was the first one, published in 1952.

It was an organic compilation of known mental diseases and based on sound diagnosis. The process to determine the mental illnesses in the DSM-1 was lengthy and achieved for legitimate reasons.

Every DSM after that was compiled for political reasons, not medical, and included the first Politically-Correct “illnesses” which had no organic cause behind them. Certain mental illnesses that had been recognized for almost a century were removed for the cause of Political Correctness. The DSM-II Seventh Printing in 1974 removed homosexuality and various sexual psychoses under blackmail by militant homosexuals and their gay supporters in Psychiatric profession.

        • Janos Skorenzy July 15, 2016 at 1:33 pm #

And they refuse to accept “post abortion syndrome” where Women feel depression and grief for committing murder. And this is deeper than belief or ideology: some of the women are caught off guard since their conscious mind thinks Abortion is a sacred right, “my body”, the fetus is a parasite, etc.

        • wpa_ccc July 15, 2016 at 1:46 pm #

Some mental health practitioners consider women to be mentally ill. It was not long ago that they also considered homosexuality a mental illness, and it took many years for academics and political activists to debunk all the bogus “science” and get this changed.

The changes in the DSM are the result of science, not “political correctness.” Women really are not mentally ill. Those with a different sexual orientation are not mentally ill. Transgendered persons are not mentally ill. Cis-gendered persons are not mentally ill. Hence, the changes to DSM.

          • JimInFlorida July 15, 2016 at 2:17 pm #

The sincerity of somebody who genuinely believes that White is Black does not mean that it is so. Thus, you are wrong again.

After 40+ years of PC-driven psychology, the mass ANOMIE and resulting dysfunction of society speaks for itself.

Only a woman would say that women are not mentally ill. A century down that trail have led us to the chaos and madness of mass avant-garde life.

Only an anomic personality would say that deviancy is normal.

            The first DSM was correct.

        • wpa_ccc July 15, 2016 at 3:22 pm #

It appears you suffer from the constant dread of anomie. It appears you suffer from a terror of existential meaninglessness. I accept anomie, meaninglessness and the DSM 5.

          • JimInFlorida July 15, 2016 at 8:51 pm #

Men of France, hear this Call of the Blood from your great British Kinsman of long ago. Hear and Obey! Cast off all doubt and despair – you can yet Triumph if your will is single and your heart is pure.

Tacitus: Calgacus’ Speech to his Troops (A.D. 85)

He [Agricola] sent his fleet ahead to plunder at various points and thus spread uncertainty and terror, and, with an army marching light, which he had reinforced with the bravest of the Britons and those whose loyalty had been proved during a long peace, reached the Graupian Mountain, which he found occupied by the enemy. The Britons were, in fact, undaunted by the loss of the previous battle, and welcomed the choice between revenge and enslavement. They had realized at last that common action was needed to meet the common danger, and had sent round embassies and drawn up treaties to rally the full force of all their states. Already more than 30,000 men made a gallant show, and still they came flocking to the colors—all the young men and those whose ‘old age was fresh and green’, famous warriors with their battle honors thick upon them. At that point one of the many leaders, named Calgacus, a man of outstanding valor and nobility, summoned the masses who were already thirsting for battle and addressed them, we are told, in words like these:

“Whenever I consider the origin of this war and the necessities of our position, I have a sure confidence that this day, and this union of yours, will be the beginning of freedom to the whole of Britain. To all of us slavery is a thing unknown; there are no lands beyond us, and even the sea is not safe, menaced as we are by a Roman fleet. And thus in war and battle, in which the brave find glory, even the coward will find safety. Former contests, in which, with varying fortune, the Romans were resisted, still left in us a last hope of succour, inasmuch as being the most renowned nation of Britain, dwelling in the very heart of the country, and out of sight of the shores of the conquered, we could keep even our eyes unpolluted by the contagion of slavery. To us who dwell on the uttermost confines of the earth and of freedom, this remote sanctuary of Britain’s glory has up to this time been a defence. Now, however, the furthest limits of Britain are thrown open, and the unknown always passes for the marvellous. But there are no tribes beyond us, nothing indeed but waves and rocks, and the yet more terrible Romans, from whose oppression escape is vainly sought by obedience and submission. Robbers of the world, having by their universal plunder exhausted the land, they rifle the deep. If the enemy be rich, they are rapacious; if he be poor, they lust for dominion; neither the east nor the west has been able to satisfy them. Alone among men they covet with equal eagerness poverty and riches. To robbery, slaughter, plunder, they give the lying name of empire; they make a solitude and call it peace (ubi solitudinem faciunt, pacem appellant).

“Nature has willed that every man’s children and kindred should be his dearest objects. Yet these are torn from us by conscriptions to be slaves elsewhere. Our wives and our sisters, even though they may escape violation from the enemy, are dishonoured under the names of friendship and hospitality. Our goods and fortunes they collect for their tribute, our harvests for their granaries. Our very hands and bodies, under the lash and in the midst of insult, are worn down by the toil of clearing forests and morasses. Creatures born to slavery are sold once and for all, and are, moreover, fed by their masters; but Britain is daily purchasing, is daily feeding, her own enslaved people. And as in a household the last comer among the slaves is always the butt of his companions, so we in a world long used to slavery, as the newest and most contemptible, are marked out for destruction. We have neither fruitful plains, nor mines, nor harbours, for the working of which we may be spared. Valour, too, and high spirit in subjects, are offensive to rulers; besides, remoteness and seclusion, while they give safety, provoke suspicion. Since then you cannot hope for quarter, take courage, I beseech you, whether it be safety or renown that you hold most precious. Under a woman’s leadership the Brigantes were able to burn a colony, to storm a camp, and had not success ended in supineness, might have thrown off the yoke. Let us, then, a fresh and unconquered people, never likely to abuse our freedom, show forthwith at the very first onset what heroes Caledonia has in reserve.

“Do you suppose that the Romans will be as brave in war as they are licentious in peace? To our strifes and discords they owe their fame, and they turn the errors of an enemy to the renown of their own army, an army which, composed as it is of every variety of nations, is held together by success and will be broken up by disaster. These Gauls and Germans, and, I blush to say, these Britons, who, though they lend their lives to support a stranger’s rule, have been its enemies longer than its subjects, you cannot imagine to be bound by fidelity and affection. Fear and terror there certainly are, feeble bonds of attachment; remove them, and those who have ceased to fear will begin to hate. All the incentives to victory are on our side. The Romans have no wives to kindle their courage; no parents to taunt them with flight, man have either no country or one far away. Few in number, dismayed by their ignorance, looking around upon a sky, a sea, and forests which are all unfamiliar to them; hemmed in, as it were, and enmeshed, the Gods have delivered them into our hands. Be not frightened by the idle display, by the glitter of gold and of silver, which can neither protect nor wound. In the very ranks of the enemy we shall find our own forces. Britons will acknowledge their own cause; Gauls will remember past freedom; the other Germans will abandon them, as but lately did the Usipii. Behind them there is nothing to dread. The forts are ungarrisoned; the colonies in the hands of aged men; what with disloyal subjects and oppressive rulers, the towns are ill-affected and rife with discord. On the one side you have a general and an army; on the other, tribute, the mines, and all the other penalties of an enslaved people. Whether you endure these for ever, or instantly avenge them, this field is to decide. Think, therefore, as you advance to battle, at once of your ancestors and of your posterity.”

    (Tacitus, Agricola 29-32.)

Regarding the official announcement of the Third World War

Trump yesterday said it very straight in response to O’Reilly: “The terrorist attacks in France, clearly showed that it’s not isolated incidents, but the Third World War”

Moreover O’Reilly asked yesterday whether Trump would require, as president, the official declaration of war against ISIS by the US Congress, and Trump replied in the affirmative, which is important, because it means the criminal prosecution of all those who enter into negotiations with representatives of the ISIS without direct order of US President.

And in order to show all seriousness of the situation, he postponed the announcement of his vice-presidential running mate, to be held today.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5Wn4tMFYT8

From myself I would like to remind that President Obama has proposed to Congress to officially declare war on the Islamic state (ISIS) in February 2015, apparently referring to the immediate arrest of those politicians who had already been caught in receiving funds from Saudi Arabia and Qatar – the main sponsors of ISIS.

And in this video, you can hear the arguments by which the Republican Congress cut down that idea due to the fact that a formal declaration of war means the postponement of elections and Obama made clear period for which the elections are postponed, limiting the top time of war with three years. But in retrospect it is not surprising, since then the proposal by President Obama was buried by those leaders of the Republican Party, who called to vote for Hillary Clinton as soon as it became clear that the primary wins Donald Trump.

The NYT is blaming the truck, and Donald Trump’s ‘hateful rhetoric’.

The rape of German girls in Colombe on New Years Eve was much more massive and widespread than reported, involving thousands, not hundreds. Similarly, in the attack on the theater in Paris, many bodies were sexually mutilated and decapitated. Why wasn’t this reported? Why is the western media intent on covering these facts up? Why?

Proof that Jewish social engineering has completely castrated German men.

Real Men would have acquired any weapon possible (even recruiting German regular Army soldiers), shot all Muslim males in the city, and burned down their mosques! After such an overdue cleansing, it would also be good to attack the NGO’s that enabled the pollution of Germany to happen in the first place. Atatürk:
“For five hundred years these rules and theories of an Arab sheik,” he said, “and the interpretations of generations of lazy, good-for-nothing priests have decided the civil and the criminal law of Turkey.”

“They had decided the form of the constitution, the details of the lives of each Turk, his food, his hours of rising and sleeping, the shape of his clothes, the routine of the midwife who produced his children, what he learnt in his schools, his customs, his thoughts, even his most intimate habits.

“Islam, this theology of an immoral Arab, is a dead thing.” Possibly it might have suited tribes of nomads in the desert. It was no good for a modern progressive State.

“God’s revelation!” There was no God. That was one of the chains by which the priests and bad rulers bound the people down.

“A ruler who needs religion to help him rule is a weakling. No weakling should rule..”

And the priests! How he hated them. The lazy, unproductive priests who ate up the sustenance of the people. He would chase them out of their mosques and monasteries to work like men.

Religion! He would tear religion from Turkey as one might tear the throttling ivy away to save a young tree.

The coup in Turkey in case of its successful completion could mean the closure of the Islamist projects in the Middle East. Tellingly, in Egypt, in Turkey, the closing procedure takes approximately the same path.

Military, speaking on television, said that Turkey will become a modern secular society.

The pretext for the coup, according to the military, was the increase in terrorist attacks and Erdogan’s authoritarian rule. It is, indeed, a pretext. The reason – the strategic dead end, in which Erdogan found himself with his policies.

In Ankara burning the building of National Intelligence, the resistance (at least organized) is not observed. Tanks are greeted with applause.

    The Turkish coup

All reports are on Skype. Not a single prepared reportorial team.

    Message Styles:

BBC interested, reporting is done by a young lady who looks like a graduate student at the British Museum and an old man, who looks like a head of department of the London Zoo with apparent zoological interest.

DW (Deutsche Welle?) openly mourns, reportage is done by a former military man. Anxious and even frightened. Perhaps in anticipation of a new wave of refugees.

    PBS
Situation is reported very sensibly and briefly by a young man who looks like an operative of you know what kind of organization. Leading anchor is an aged squadron commander of the flying monkeys. Sounded off clearly menacing towards the conspirators.

Young Erdogan is carried with a broken head, they say fell somewhere running away.

Naval F-16 shot down a Kemalist helicopter. On the bridge there is a fight, the European part of the Turkey is under control of the Kemalists. Turkey de facto collapsed. I wonder if Kurds will interfere in a dispute between the Islamists and Kemalists.

wpa…Pence is a typical Jewdeo-Xtian Cuck. He’s also an unpopular Governor.

His quiver is filled with impotent neocon buzzwords and chintzy patriot icons upon his war banner; fluttering in the political winds.
His saddle bags filled with tired Republican talking points to succor him as he begins his journey with Trump i.e. abortion, tax cuts for the rich, free trade, “government corruption,” and the 35-Year War against Labor.
His shield is plated with smarmy doubletalk to avoid conflict with the Jewish Lobby, the Muslims, and any sexual psychotic with a grievance.

Pence wouldn’t DARE be the kind of Patrick Henry (or better yet, Pat Buchanan) that we need now.

The selection of Pence was an uncharacteristically “safe” move by Trump. Perhaps we have just seen the first tentacle of the NWO sliding under Trump’s jacket! Either Trump cuts the tentacle and dares the NWO to make their move out in the open… OR…, he will mysteriously fall in line with no warning. Just like Obama did about his time in 2008.

Well I do not understand anything what is happening in Turkey. And I read a lot of people who studied the history of Turkey and Turkish culture, especially the poetry of Rumi, but that’s what makes me realize how much I do not understand anything what is happening in Turkey.

But I still understand what nonsense is conveyed by all these “experts on Turkey” which in large quantities suddenly appeared from all dark corners, as soon as they became aware of the unexpected coup in the country, which was once called the Orthodox Empire just like Russia.

These experts, agitated with terrible pictures from Nice, suddenly switched to Turkey that is not without reason is believed to be everlasting, existential enemy of Russia, while being at the same time an “all-inclusive” country where the phrase “Russian vacationer” does not necessarily mean a guy with AK47.

At least I know who’s in Turkey is now inevitably going to jump into the fight, and how they differ from each other: the Erdogan Islamists, the Kemalists, gelenovtsy, Turkomans, Arabs, Sufi orders, Christians, Kurds, Muslim Kurds, Arabs, Assyrians, ISIS Satanists, etc. etc.

But above all, I remember that modern Turkey has been created not so much by Kemal Ataturk, but by Vladimir Lenin, who became head of the first Socialist State in the world, suddenly realized that as long as there is Turkey there also is the Montreux Convention, which guarantees the security of the southern borders of Russia, and if there is no Turkey there is no convention, and there is no security.

Or it will be necessary in spite of their own wishes to fight for the Straits with Britain, France, Greece, the United States and God knows whom else. And all these countries also do not want to fight, but also can not afford Russians to own the straits.

In any case, this is how the Crimean War had begun, and the very first World War that supposedly no one wanted.

And in view of these circumstances for a long time no one will understand what happens in Turkey, except for some funny circumstances such as the presence in Turkey on the eve of the coup of Alexander Dugin, associated most directly with the organization of the Turkish nationalist Eurasians, very similar to Dugin’s Arktgeyu at a time when he was considered adviser to Vladimir Putin on the Russian national idea.

And I immediately remembered how I admired Masha Gessen, also known as the “Gessen Fly”, who became the chief editor of Radio “Liberty” and managed just in a few weeks to completely ruin this rather predatory organization, hardened in the battles of the Cold War.

    • JimInFlorida July 16, 2016 at 8:06 am #

Why does Russia keep so much of its naval power trapped inside the Black Sea? The Bosporus and Dardanelles straits are all too easy to mine and bottle up in time of war.

One would think that Russia should have expanded its supply base at Tartus, leased extra land for a garrison and airstrip, and moved some of its naval assets there. Additionally, when Gamal Nasser was President of Egypt, Russia should have leased land along the north shore to establish a secondary holding of Russian naval power and supplies. Again, to mitigate the great risk of keeping its fleet in the Black Sea.

Perhaps, at the time, the Soviets felt they were sufficiently dispersed. But, the situation has drastically changed over the past 20 years. Why hasn’t Putin done what the others failed to do?

    CNN:
“The coup plotters’ manifesto reportedly stated that they stepped in because, among other things, the president and government have created an autocracy that made the legal system unworkable. This much is true — that over the past five years, the ruling party has systematically throttled the independence of state institutions, the media, education, civil society, and recently two of the highest courts in the land. In short, the AKP has been dismantling Turkey’s democratic walls brick by brick.

This time, thousands of Erdogan supporters heeded his call to take to the streets. They threw themselves in front of tanks and cornered terrified looking soldiers as minarets called for jihad.”

Another domino down. Turkey is a full-fledged religious autocracy. Looks like the Greeks once again guard the door of Europa.

  155. volodya July 16, 2016 at 10:42 am #

Interesting times these are especially with this Turkey business still unfolding. If you look at events and their temporal and geographic proximity you might conclude that the recent terror attacks in Turkey (and, who knows, maybe even the one in Nice) were the last straw for some Turkish military men that haven’t got much taste for 1) democratic elections 2) Erdogan’s Islamist agenda.

I suspect that the generals or colonels or whatever ranks carried out this coup attempt don’t really care about Erdogan’s authoritarian tendencies. I suspect they’d be just as authoritarian if they were pulling the levers.

This looks to me like a straight-forward power struggle. But if there’s to be some sort of political equilibrium the solution can’t be one that’s an “either-or” proposition but rather one that’s in the nature of “more-or-less”.

It’s also the age-old problem of who runs things. In Turkey’s case will it be a political elite given legitimacy by the religious establishment? Of course, for the clerics there’s a lot of goodies that would go with it. How could it be otherwise? Give us your blessing Mr Imam and you’ll have swimming pools of wine and whisky and the most scintillating girls-boys-goats money can buy. Or is it a more secular elite in public office back-stopped by a military whose officer class gets the perqs and privileges in return for its armored fist?

I say it’s a more-or-less proposition rather than an either-or choice in that madrassas and mosques have a role but a more circumscribed role with a military-backed secular establishment.

There needs to be a balancing of interests. Anyone in power has to give due consideration not only to the urban trendies with their relatively loose Western mores but also the pious Muslim outside the big city.

In Turkey’s case I suspect that a large segment of the populace had had enough of Erdogan. Certain of the military sensed it and took action. I also suspect that, under a military-backed secular elite, the pendulum would swing too far in the opposite direction. We see what happens on our turf when the interests of people in “fly-over” country are disregarded. You saw what happened in the UK. Political upheaval is the natural and expected result.

I had to laugh today at another of Trump’s lies: “I am an outsider” …

Yeah, right, he is a member of the Republican party. Trump is now the leader of the Republican Party. He just received millions of votes from Republican voters. He is about to be nominated by a Republican convention of Republicans.

But Trump says he is an “outsider” … his lies never stop.

As you may know, Cold N. Holefield has his own blog titled Catcher In The Lie in addition to commenting sporadically here at CFN. And those CFN comments have their own unique viewpoint and enjoyable style. But over at his own site Cold has (to use a worn cliche) gone off the deep end.

I receive emails from ‘Catcher’ whenever Cold posts a new blog — the latest is titled Spotlight — and then again each time someone comments or Cold replies to a comment. In one day, 7/14, I received 74 emails. The next day that number was (blessedly) cut exactly in half…..37 new emails. In the week ended now there have been roughly 200 emails. I know this since they pile up in my Yahoo Mail Trash barrel which I sorted by sender just to see.

The near exclusive subject matter for the past several months concerns “the Maura Murray Mystery” (or MMM for short) and if spelling and grammar pedantry is my own OC Disorder you ain’t seen OCD till you’ve seen Cold’s.

Let me save you a lot of reading time……if you are even the least bit inclined to visit his site: Cold has created a vast world of paranoia with himself in the precise center……and it is like the most gigantic mother of all black holes that will swallow up the entire universe in x number of trillion years. If I may be so bold as to summarize all 200 emails/comments into a brief sentence, Cold, in the most puerile fashion, is telling ‘YOU KNOW WHO’ that if he doesn’t knock it off he is going to get a good sock in the nose or alternatively a lawsuit.

I ‘axe’ you, is there anything more lame than threats of physical or legal violence from the safety of cyber anonymity?

    • JimInFlorida July 16, 2016 at 5:51 pm #

Chris Christie just LOOKS the part of mafia boss. Not the don but, a close associate who runs interference for the don.

FYI, Christie’s excellent fiscal record was fabricated by stealing THREE BILLION in Federal money intended to build a new tunnel under the Hudson River, to replace the ONE HUNDRED YEAR OLD existing tunnel!!! Somehow,Christie found a way to redirect it into the New Jersey State Treasury and pad the books to hide the misfeasance of his Administration.

That kind of Grand Malfeasance (under cover of petty misfeasance) is worthy of an Ambassadorship! Lots of prestige and little chance of causing real trouble. I could see Trump awarding Christie an Ambassadorship to Ireland or Germany.

Ambassadorships to minor nations actually go to competent diplomat types. Those who know the language and customs of the nation they are assigned to.

The plum diplomatic jobs to E.U. nations go to BIG campaign contributors and those who engineered spectacular acts of Grand Malfeasance and actually got away with it.

Hence, Governor Christie’s credentials to be an Ambassador to Ireland, Germany, Belgium, etc.

    Well,
RT is reporting the failed coup in Turkey was given the “green light” by the US…apparently we have the Islamic Cleric that fermented the Coup in our possession…Turkey demands his return.

We have destroyed, completely and unalterably, our tenuous relationship with Turkey, and the largest standing army in Nato. Where are our days of glory gone? Can we not effect a simple regime change and assassination without fucking things up? Let me count the successes…Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, and now Turkey.

I have an idea…why don’t we poke Russia in the eye with a stick and see what happens…?

It was also reported that the massive US Air force base in Incirlick
Turkey, with its nuclear weapons storage vaults, has had the line power cut to the base…by civil authority or otherwise is not yet known. In the USAF, in the 60’s, it was a common threat to post an unpopular airman or officer to Incirlick…also known as “bum-fuck Turkey”….

    Putin knows something

The Russian version of “Patriot Act” comes into effect on 1 July 2018. During this time, you can, of course, make changes to it, but it is obvious that all draconian measures will remain.

    Why do they do it?

My answer: I’m 100% sure that the Kremlin knows something. And, most likely, in 2018 a lot in this law will become clear to us.

The world is steady marching toward the complete global chaos.

Under threat all the established world order. We mere mortals do not even understand the scale and nature of coming changes. This explains so much in Russian domestic politics. For example, the fact that Putin is clearly not accelerating long-awaited economic reforms. Preferring to keep some gold in the pot and not wasting any time.

Be brave, my fellow citizens. Better and quieter will never be. And the final peace in the world will be “peace” brought by the Antichrist. And the nations of the earth shall worship him joyfully.

And how not to worship: it’s either truck on the waterfront in Nice, or the mark of the beast on your right hand.

I have read that one of the most offensive things you can say about a Black man, particularly to his face, is that he is articulate. Since I am anonymous here I guess I can get away with saying that Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams is both very black and very articulate. I would like to know the story behind his non-Black vernacular.

    • elysianfield July 17, 2016 at 6:28 pm #

“I have read that one of the most offensive things you can say about a Black man, particularly to his face, is that he is articulate”

Right up there with “A credit to his race”, and “I have lots of black friends….”? I don’t think so….

Why would “articulate” be pejorative? “Talking white”, however, is another matter altogether.

“I would like to know the story behind his non-Black vernacular.”

Q, The chief is probably well educated, and not stupid…understands the rules of our culture and plays within them. I once had an instructor, in my undergraduate years, who was black, unthreatening, very genteel and well read. He was then currently a Sgt. on the San Jose Police Department. Wanna know what happened to him? He became the Police chief of Atlanta Georgia, then the Police Commissioner of NY City, and then the Drug Czar of the United States. His name was Lee Brown. Back in the 60’s a black man, genteel, well spoken, who played by the system could go far….I expect little has changed in that regard, even to this day.

The L is for the Levant. The the is hard for you but I must insist since it is vaguely defined area, an old Western designation in any case. Why do they use it? Beats me. I can only speculate. Was the Turkish Cleric who tried to overthrow Erdogan part of ISIS? Is Obama on ISIS’s side and wants to give them maximum respect by including the Levant in their prospectus?

These people ask but don’t really answer either.

          http://www.christianpost.com/news/isis-or-isil-are-they-the-same-what-to-call-iraqs-islamic-militant-extremists-124561/

Everyone knows it’s not worth asking Obama or Kerry themselves. Obviously they never give a straight answer to anything. The other night at a televised “town hall” or something, Obama casually admitted that the greatest danger to young Black men was other young Black men. He didn’t emphasize it and is not that interested in it. The Truth is just one fact or factor among many, to be used as a weapon, to reassure, or to give credence to lie. It has no special value in and of itself. It most certainly does not replace or influence the Agenda and Narrative of Evil Whites who must pay.

  174. volodya July 17, 2016 at 2:59 pm #

And now for some lighthearted comedy.

Jeb Bush lays out his vision to reclaim the Republican Party from Donald Trump in The Washington Post. He recycles the old culture wars shit about Trump being anti-immigrant, anti-gay, yadda, yadda, in effect insisting that – as our esteemed friend the Archdruid might say – the voter discontent that Trump is tapping into comes from “values” such as white supremacy and nativism, as opposed to “interests”, those being economic interests, in particular the tens of thousand of factories and millions of jobs that were offshored to China.

People don’t fucking learn especially when it’s not in their interest to learn. Jeb is a perfect example. The Bushes made careers out of looking after the interests of American Oligarchs and their bi-coastal clerisy. Their whole lives were all about enriching the rich, impoverishing the already poor and wrecking the prospects of everyone in between. So when it became manifestly obvious what kind of societal stew was on the burner, the Bushes resolutely refused to smell it, taste it, or even acknowledge that there’s a stove much less a pot.

I think Jeb’s taking a page from Ferdinand Marcos’ last election campaign before he was forced to up-sticks. Marcos’ English language slogan was “Now More Than Ever”. Hilarious.

Not that the Democrats are any better. Their approach differs not one scintilla from that of the old-guard Republicans notwithstanding the show that Bernie made. Hillary and the old gang steadfastly refuse to see what’s right under their noses and understand what drives Bernie’s followers. It’s not about who’s more “progressive” or more “conservative”. It’s about not being able to earn a living.

Now More Than Ever could be the campaign slogan of either the Democrats or old-guard Republicans. Both party establishments are all about looking out for the Oligarchs and then hopefully lining their own pockets just like Bill and Hillary if not with tens and hundreds of millions, then at least with high paying jobs. Every man for himself IOW and the devil take the hindmost.

The cornerstone of modern politics, its main secret and the key to understanding the objective reality given us not only on TV, is that Wahhabism and other forms of Islamism are not Islam. These are artificial religions, which were invented by the British in order to tear away Arabia from the Ottoman Empire, the empire built based on Sufi Sunni Islam.

And France claimed Syria, Palestine and Egypt, and therefore in Istanbul was operating in full Grand Lodge of the East, led by the beloved wife of the Sultan, who by chance was either a sister or niece of Josephine – the wife of Napoleon Bonaparte.

Actually it was Napoleon III rivalry with Russia over Syria that led to the Crimean War, the main result of which was Russia’s agreement to the unification of Germany under the auspices of Bismarck and consequently the Franco-Prussian War that marked the end of French domination in Western Europe.

After the Franco-Prussian War to replace the Grand Lodge of the East to Istanbul had come Rosicrucians and the Teutonic Order, who earlier served as advisers to the Sultan, one of which was the future commander of the army of Bismarck, Moltke.

A holy place is never empty, and in place of the Order of Bektashi Sultan Suleiman III had created a kind of secret society – the so-called Deep State, about the existence of which even his great Vizier was not aware at the time, in spite of this society managed to enthrone his son from aforementioned cousin of Josephine, for the struggle with whom the Deep State was created.

So they still are fighting each other in Istanbul and now in Ankara – Deep State, that defends traditional Islam, the Grand Orient of France, and the Teutonic Order.

And British Templars sitting in Qatar and Riyadh, watching them, quite traditionally inserting a quarrel between continental lodges and the Great Port, occasionally intervening in the escalating conflict on the side of the losing side in order to prevent these conflicts to die down.

So near the beach hotel, where the day before President Erdogan was vacationing, landed paratroopers, and Turkish Special Forces battalion moved out of the hidden position in the forest to cut off beach hotel from the mainland.

The problem was that Erdogan was no longer in the hotel, since shortly before he received a call from the United States that warned him that the army has conceived some bad actions in relation to popularly elected leader, though little carried away in popular Islamism in that predominantly Muslim country.

He appealed to his supporters on the iPhone to take to the streets, then immediately jumped into the armored Mercedes and sped away to board a very light helicopter, the kind that is invisible to radars, and at this time the United States were calling the Turkish military urging them that the negative attitude of Obama to Islamism is the policy of a lame duck, and that Saudi Arabia has lots of money.

And at this point I for some reason recalled dancing Bush and Michelle Obama in mourning dress having difficulty restraining a smile. And I suddenly realized that the lame ducks sometimes turn into free eagles and that artificial religions are very fragile and can not compete with traditional Abrahamic religions.

Q., ISIL signifies the Levant, which is the entire region.

ISIS stands for the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq, or Iraq and Syria, that’s the I-S.

ISIL, the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant includes more than Iraq and Syria. It would include, for example, Israel.
