Everyone I know is walking around in a baseline state of nervous agitation. Are they beset by “disinformation” or is it rather the reality of a cratering nation run by idiots and maniacs? Everywhere you look, calamities gather speed while the klaxons of alarm blare from all compass points. Got money? Looks like soon it will be worthless. Wondering if Mr. Putin has had enough of “Joe Biden’s” brainless effrontery to lob some hypersonic Big Ones in our collective face? Relying on that retirement account you have no direct control over while the financial markets wobble? Need to fill up the gas tank of your pickup truck twice a week? Can’t find a new condenser to fix the failing fridge? Entertaining rumors of looming famine? Credit cards maxed out? Sheriff stapling an eviction notice on your door? Beloved younger brother declaring that henceforward they are your sister? Hearing that all those vaxxes and boosters you obediently submitted to might rearrange your DNA?
These are just a few of the concerns zinging through the zeitgeist these late days of the republic. You are correct to be anxious about them, so at least don’t worry about worrying. Just understand that the more events spool out in the direction of danger, the more you will be warned against “disinformation.” The good part is that now we know the identity of at least one person who is officially in charge of that: “disinformation expert” Nina Jankowicz (NiJank), new chief of Washington’s Disinformation Governance Board. Whose idea was that, by the way?
Homeland Security Sec’y Alejandro Mayorkas (AlMay) didn’t seem to know anything pertaining to disinformation last week when grilled in committee by Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), including two of the most notorious cases in recent memory: Did the Steele Dossier include Russian disinformation? AlMay said he was “not equipped” to answer that question. Ditto the question — now definitively settled — as to whether Hunter Biden’s laptop stuffed with grifting memoranda was for-real. Of course, both of those matters were labeled previously as disinformation by his new expert hire, NiJank, who, it appears, is similarly unequipped to discuss the particulars at issue. But all this does raise the parallel issue: how much depraved insolence is the public supposed to tolerate from its public servants?
My guess: we’re nearing the end of America’s Christian patience for being snookered, gaslit, lied-to, bamboozled, and mind-fucked, especially as our nation gets gang-raped by the Party of Chaos. Perhaps the solution is to go a little further down the Roe v Wade path and make abortion fully retroactive, a new and innovative way to “cancel” lives whose obnoxious presence in the world is a menace to the human project. Declare the likes of AlMay and NiJank retroactively “unborn,” erasing their privilege to appointed office. The wire coat-hanger probably will not avail in this procedure. Of course, it’s all just a hypothetical at this point.
Meanwhile, several Supreme Court justices are under siege in direct contravention of 18 U.S. Code § 115 — influencing, impeding, or retaliating against a federal official by threatening or injuring a family member. The authorities are permitting angry mobs to moil freely outside the Justices’ houses, while many January Sixth “insurrectionists” rot in the DC jail into a second-year on misdemeanor charges that the authorities refuse to adjudicate — meaning that there is no authority in Washington, DC, only a nameless, lawless simulacrum of it as conceived, say, in the spirit of Franz Kafka.
Hope abides that the November elections might set up a correction to much of this madness. The release on Saturday of Dinesh D’Souza’s documentary 2000 Mules does not provide a whole lot of encouragement about that. The Party of Chaos still has its apparatus of ballot fraud in place all over the country and nobody seems to know what to do about it (though the remedy is pretty simple and straightforward: in-person voting with voter ID). The evidence of drop-box video and smart-phone tracking of the 2020 ballot-stuffers in several states is right there and nobody in American life appears to be equipped to do something about it. The necessary equipment consists of two plum-sized glands generally assigned at birth to persons of the male persuasion. Perhaps, along with refrigerator condensers, the supply line for that is broken.
But first, of course, before the scheduled midterm elections there are roughly six months of nice weather to get through, meaning conditions that are favorable for action in the street, starring the shock troops of Progressive Wokery. Depending on where you live, maybe that’s another reason to feel those old heebie-jeebies creeping in on little spiders’ feet.

In one way, I am glad to see this. I think SCOTUS has gone too far over the years to conflate rioting and rowdy behavior with “freedom to assemble peaceably.” Maybe when they get a good dose of “peaceful” protesting, they will back up some. Plus, whatta you want to bet, they all have their guns nearby!
Maybe they’ll be next to get the fortified compound treatment? That’s seems to be a popular look for federal officials these days. I think it will eventually have to be applied to all of DC. Put up an armed perimeter around the whole damn thing, the easier to keep the elected miscreants in when the Kinzhals start raining down.

would you be surprised if it were found out that they did indeed have hand guns…but didn’t have permits for them.
and would it further surprise you at this late date if those conservative justices with the guns, but not the permits, were arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm? quick and easy way to impeach and remove a conservative justice, no ?
Yeah, Bob…now that their (Gorsuch, Kavanaugh & Barrett) barefaced lying to Congress is no longer an impeachable offense…
Or the new really stupid one that said she was not a biologist and said she could not define what a woman was.
That right there was some epic lying or literally the dumbest human on this planet.
She knew enough to marry a man. She would be the first black female I-don’t-know-what to serve in in the Supreme court if she had made that er… choice.
You know… married a woman accidentally. -_-
The Roe v Wade reversal reportedly hangs on a 5-4 vote. I’m wondering what happens if some woke fanatic kills one of the 5. You know the MSM will say : well ain’t that a shame, while scarcely concealing it’s glee.
Even if the current vote is a done deal, the next Biden appointee will change things back.
H – you mean if they get “Scaliaed”?
That was a peculiar death in an odd place. Perhaps best to say no more.
“The purpose of power is power.”
Woke Saint O’Brian of Room 101
This ain’t about Roe– it’s about replacing judges.
Preferably with more women, even “Crazy Eyes” Barrett, (prone to adopting Haitian pets), because they are easy to steamroll by the Scold Matriarchy.
O’Brien
Dangit. Sorry. Overlap.
Not to be obtuse, but the Hive doesn’t know why it does things. It’s only purpose is to extend itself, getting like minds into place so they can virtue signal opportunity and strength in numbers to other ambitious risers.
The purpose of power is placement.
It has no other goal, its shortsightedness leads to warring tribes, in all-against-all. Ancient instinct is at play here.
I disagree. I think those creatures of evil and darkness who rule us have a very elaborate agenda. In contrast the circus clown “leaders” we see on TV are clueless, self-serving, blackmailed puppets who in many cases either don’t see “the plan” or who have no moral problem leading humanity to slaughter.
That one has always, always disgusted me to no end. Adopting foreign babies when we have thousands here, needing good homes. It would break your heart to see the look of longing on the faces of them that are 5 & 6 on up, to 10, 11, & 12. They ache inside, to be hugged, To be loved.
And time after time, we see this well known married white couple, upper income, financially set, and running around the world ? adopting a house full of black & brown kids. It’s as if, they have declared white kids, pure trash.
Suffice to say, Mark Levin revealed to Sean Hannity about a list of names that President Trump asked him for, who he would recommend for the Supreme Court each time he went to appoint somebody.
These 3 that got appointed, and now sit on the court, Levin doesn’t approve of because they’re not bona fide constitutionalist conservative. He submitted a list, each time for each vacancy. With, “Bona-Fide, Capital C, Conservative, Justices.”
Anyway, each one got passed over. Levin said to Hannity,
(I will paraphrase Mark Levin. )
“ The only reason I believe that Trump’s team pass them over is because they are much too conservative like Justice Thomas is for most of trumps team.”
The other reason of course is the Leftist turds in power would fight like demons to keep out someone that actually believes in the Constitution.
Doesn’t it seem as the the people on the SUPREME COURT have the resources to get EXISTING LAW enforced on their behalf, when it isn’t about them individually so much as about the rule of law and the court itself?
That is, in America we don’t decide things by having mobs at the judges’ home threatening them and their families.
You mean to tell me, if a judge calls that local police, reads them the law, and says “get somebody over here”, the police can just say, “nah”?
Seriously, what’s really going on? Why are they putting up with this?
They don’t want to protect the institution, if not their families?
You make an excellent point sir.
If a supreme can’t pick up a phone and ask a US Marshall or two over for tea and crumpets who can?
Yes I do. and anyone with even a small portion of function brain should as well. Sorry that leaves you out Dopey Joe. Although Joe is right about one thing, the biggest threat to democracy IS white supremacy. The part that he, they are leaving out is that Dopey Joe, Pelosi, Schumer, Gates Soros, and all of the rest of the greedy old white bastards ARE the supremacists that are the threat.
We can only hope that enough of the population wakes up and opens their mouths so the criminal bastards will start round “miscreants” up and we can get started with a real revolution. I don’t think America has any backbone left in in for a fight so let the heebie jeebies begin!
There’s a WHO pandemic treaty in the works that would set policy world wide in the event of another pandemic — of course, they’d be the organization to declare it’s a pandemic. So a pandemic is whatever they say it is.
https://www.theautomaticearth.com/2022/05/debt-rattle-may-9-2022/
Scroll down to the twitter/video of Risemlbourne.
According to I think it was Patrick Wood in GRand Jury 5, they (world’s nations) already signed some kind of agreement regarding response in case WHO declares a pandemic.
So the, whaddya know, “pandemic” declared and all are on same page with their rollouts. Total lockdown of world economy, basically.
Dr Astrid Stuckelberger (former WHO whistleblower) was talking about this last year. They’re still in the process of signing nations up, apparently, and it’s due to be working by 2024.
Answer to European Parliamentary question here -the question is from Christine Anderson, who is the MEP in the Twitter video:
https://www.europarl.europa.eu/doceo/document/P-9-2022-000921_EN.html
I seem to recall (I think it was Astrid S’s early interview on the Planet Lockdown site) she said countries were referred to as ‘companies’ for the purposes of their contractual relations with WHO.
Presumably if the WHO has supra-national power to enforce lockdowns, it could also supra-nationally mandate jabs?
You don’t really believe in nations, remember? Because if you believed in the existence of your People, you’d have to feel shame if they did anything wrong. And any Leader, in order to be moral, would have to personally know each and every citizen – clearly impossible.
So what’s left is just trimmed down “countries” or political and economic zones with no real histories, just waiting to be outsourced, insourced, repackaged, and/or globalized.
Give it a rest. You’re becoming a parody of yourself.
And don’t tell me what I believe in. You have serious reading comprehension problems, because you read everything through a filter woven of bad faith.
“Filter woven of bad faith”. I like that.
Of you like it! She’s an ally now, why not invite her to the “Ladies Who Don’t Go To McDonald’s” club?
It will meet at McDonald’s……
Alba: I’m just taking what you said and trying to show the consequences of it. If you don’t want supra-nationalism, you should be interested in strong nationalism to counteract it. That’s logical, right?
Does this all mean gates is a most dangerous man?
So the surviving prole assets will be tagged, tatooed, and numbered.
The idea that they’ll shut down “fossil” fuel usage in 8 years is a clear statement they want to kill us.
The water purification stops, the garbage piles up, the hospitals run out of or are raided for supplies.
But first, they get their infrastructure in place- enough “clean green” energy for the rulers after we’ve fallen. Fuel for their military to stop our desperate smuggling runs.
As Marx said, kill 80% of the poor, and the remaining proles will happily prune the orchards through which the New Men stroll discussing philosophy.
Prune their garden, or life in the toxic ruins- which you gonna choose?
GA, re “Give it a rest.”
‘Rek is really something of a sociopath in that he is apparently clueless to the one tick of his that alienates everyone: Pontificating about what others think and then riffing gratingly on his own idiotic pomposities.
Or, he knows how annoying he is and he enjoys annoying others. He just loves to argue. I have such argumentative people in my sphere, and it is mind-numbing, how many ways there are to be argumentative. Eventually no one can stand to be around such people. Pity the poor spouse (if they have one). I know of one such. Spouse is completely downtrodden and hardly dares say anything.
I get that people are worried about the WHO treaty thing, but what will happen in practice? The same as happened with Covid, and the same that is happening with the EU’s Russia oil and gas embargo: every nation will go its own way.
No we don’t have the backbone, I agree. It’s been bred out of us, like all domesticated farm animals.
Women said they didn’t want traditional men. Of course then they said they did. But of course would change their minds back if men ever put their foot down when it came to them, either individually or collectively.
What women did that?
Women as a whole (with individual exceptions of course). I know that this is confusing, but such is reality. Do you want to eschew statistics? Go back to a “my friends” mentality? Anthea has done just that. Guess what? That would be a ceding of power to people who are willing to generalize (conceptualize). As Camille Paglia says, Women seem intent on going backwards even as they deny that that is what they are doing and rage against the negative consequences of what they demanded.
Women are the majority of humans. We don’t all speak as one. Even if Camille Paglia thinks we do.
Isn’t the fact that she doesn’t think the way “women” supposedly do, proof that what she thinks isn’t accurate?
Ain’t I a woman? Ain’t she?
“What women did that?” Most women in my life beginning in the 1970s when something called “Womens Lib” became the fad for them. I can’t recall any I knew who didn’t mouth off with feminist talking points except a few American and several immigrant women brought up in very very foreign cultures. What is funny is the few women I’ve known who were against the “Womans Lib” nonsense seemed more self sufficient and self actuating than the big mouthed feminists. Example: In the neighborhood around our office a rape was reported. The feminists immediately demanded and got 2 things. 1) They all got their parking places moved to near the front door. Previously the spaces were assigned by job title or handicap. 2) They demanded and got the company to pay for a private security guard to escort them the now 100 yards at most to their cars. One night I walked the few blocks to my car and saw one of the non-feminist women out there getting in her car. I asked her why she didn’t get the close space and escort. She said the nearby space and escort were only good for a few minutes a day, her concealed carry permit was good all the time and most places.
Another example from the same company: The woman most vocal about feminist talking points blasted the company e-mail with her opinions about how the company should operate to facilitate the advancement of women’s careers. When her husband made partner in his law firm she quit her job. In her farewell e-mail she said she was quitting because the most important thing a woman can do is stay home and raise a family.
Jo-G I was one of those big mouth feminists of the 70s, that still doesn’t tell me who these women are, today, who don’t want traditional men but at the same time do.
It doesn’t even tell me what “traditional men” are.
Well to think is to generalize, Beryl. Paglia gets that, you don’t seem to, at least not that well.
So of you want to think or generalize well on these issues, you have to get into percentages, even if loosely. Few, some, many, most. it’s almost never going to be a matter of none or all. And taking people one by one simply says nothing in these matters.
Most Women are feminists – at least as Joe says – when it suits or benefits them. Even “conservative” women? Even conservative women. Even invoking the old “a lady’s right to change her mind” – completely going against all of her supposed principles the second it’s to her benefit.
But yes, that’s a very human thing (men too) isn’t it? Alas for humanity. But men are held to account more than women are, at least on this. Women often don’t even seem to realize they are doing it. And when you tell, they’ll just shrug and give you a “whatever”. The real principle of Feminism is winning after all.
Once again, Jarek, I have no idea what you are talking about.
You get lost really easily. That’s my fault?
Better Bachelor:
If you don’t like her, that’s your fault. And if she doesn’t like you, that’s also your fault.
I doubt anyone else knows what you are talking about either. Including you.
“who these women are, today, who don’t want traditional men but at the same time do.” Well, in my current stage of life I know several couples where the husband is retired and the wife works, or for two of them they bought into the whole inversion and the husband is stay at home take care of the kids while the wife is the bread winner. Our wives don’t like it but claim they do. I tease my wife that she only works to get away from me. She insists that I do traditional male stuff- she’d rather I drive for example, and make decisions – until she doesn’t like my decisions. Men- do this experiment if your wife works and comes home at predictable time after you are home: Each day, flip a coin before she comes home for heads make sure you are dong a traditional male activity when she arrives- working on the car, cleaning the gutters, wood working etc. For tails do a traditional female job, vacuum, dishes, laundry etc. Faking it works too, jump under the car with a wrench as she pulls in “Just checking something.” This assumes you have picked up some stereotypical male skills, I know young men who have none. When I did this experiment when I first retired, 100% of the time I was doing male stuff she greeted me with a smile and it put her in a good mood, 100% of the time when I was doing a stereo-typically female job she sneered and it put her in a bad mood. Right now I’m in the Tokyo time zone and I’m going out to wash the motorcycle as she arrives because I’d like a pleasant dinner. Usually i don’t care what mood she’s in if she sneers at my cooking skills I just order her to bed to rest after work. I can’t be a sociologist and run a randomized trial on thousands of couples.
Beryl, I also don’t know most of what Jarek is talking about. Mostly because he pulls it right out of his ass, or he picks it up at his incel MRA gatherings on Reddit.
What IS a woman these days? Asking for my wife, who’s a bit confused.
The reason we’re soft is constant programming and ease of life.
Tucker Carlson sums up everything wrong with American and Canadian politics: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhDfMfV7Zf0
Not worried about any of this. Debt free. Not totally dependent on fiat. 100 lbs of vac sealed rice in food pails. Vaccine free. Live in a small town, though I grew up in a blue city. At some point, we all need to take responsibility for where we are and what we believe. I got religion a while back. My “friends” laughed at me then. They mocked me. They told me how stupid I was as they lined up like good little lemmings and vaxxed up. They’re not laughing now. Soon they will want to move in with us. Worthless feeders. Mr. Mossberg says it’s not gonna happen. As for Mr. Putin and his hypersonic missiles, I’m more worried about our side. Life is good.
the problem with rice is that it is hard and thus inedible…unless you have clean water to boil it in…and fuel to create the boil. just sayin.’
rice keeps a long time (white only (lol)). Hopefully any moron can build a fire, except maybe city folks, they only know how to burn things down by the looks of it. As for water, if you aint got water, you won’t need no fucking rice.
uh, no water = death in 3-6 days.
The survival rule of 3’s:
3 hours in hypothermic conditions
3 days without water
3 weeks without food
Plan & prioritize accordingly: heat, water & food – in that order.
One more
3 minutes without Oxygen
You’re right John – if someone bags you from behind – you have 3 minutes to FITFO or you’re done – great point.
Ya can’t boil water on a charcoal grill but you can with one of those little stoves that burn twigs. The good kind of water purifier will purify pond water so buy extra filters for the gravity-fed device. That same purifier will filter out BPA that leaches into the water from plastic bottles – or so it says on the literature that comes with the purifier. Next paycheck I’m going to stock up on liquor. I don’t drink but it will be extremely valuable for barter when they close the stores because of the next pandemic Bill Gates promised us last week.
CO – Q-tips also, stock up, small & barterable. When the world ends as we know it, people will kill for a Q-tip after a shower – I know I will.
Get plenty of freeze dried instant coffee. Unopened it will last longer than King Tut’s mummy. Even opened it really lasts long.
Aside from Hawaii no coffee is grown in the USA. If international trade breaks down, the coffee addicts will turn into “Night of the Living Dead” as they seek a fix.
Get a Berkey! I did.
I just bought the filters and two food grade buckets. There’s a vid online if interested.
Good, but quite pricey. I’ve just stocked up on a few big bags of charcoal for BBQs. You can grind the down and use in a home-made filter with a few lines of sand and gravel. Next project: a wood burning stove.
One of my neighbors built a pond on his property that somehow purifies the water so that it is drinkable. That’s where he gets his drinking water; he dips it up with a bucket.
He’s an interesting guy. He lives in a straw bale house with a tarp for a roof and built system of mechanized moveable pens for the livestock. (It was goats at the time he was talking about this.) The pens moved slowly, to continually give the goats fresh forage, all while he was away at work during the day.
I should probably ask him about how you build a pond with good drinking water.
John Muir wandered around southern Alaska with a modified tin can, a good knife, and a cedar walking staff. He shaved cedar flakes into the can, lit, and enjoyed a fine brew.
When you stock-up, buy a variety of ‘flavors, and get it in half pints or the airline size bottles. Easier for trade/bartering.
…oop’s, this comment was intended to go with Anthea’s comment (earlier).
Same here. I do worry about what we’re leaving to the next generation(s) though.
100 lbs of rice is 500 1/2 cup servings, if I am reading the chart correctly.
That’s, what, enough for “barely don’t starve” rations, for one person, for one year.
I think the idea is that the rice is an extender for your other food.
I don’t know what kind of religion you ‘got’ but it certainly wasn’t Christianity. Your kind of selfishness is not what He was talking about.
Well the question becomes: Who is your neighbor? Feral invaders? Worthless, mocking ex-friends?
Question asked to Israelis: How can you treat your Palestinian neighbors like this?
Answer: They aren’t our neighbors.
Not even if they live right next door. What is the next question?
What does neighbor mean then?
neighbour: someone who generally shares the same view as me on the important things. Whatever their class, colour or creed.
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?
Thanks for the post JHK
President Hillary.
Blackbird: Please, never, ever use those words in the same sentence. My pacemaker is already on 11!
Regarding the leaked draft opinion…are we a two party system or not? Mitch McConnell’s actions lead me to believe we are NOT.
If you didn’t catch Mitch’s response, here you go……
https://borderlandjournal.com/american-dreams/#onepartynation
Like George Carlin said, there’s one party and we ain’t invited.
The Republicans only care about abortion insofar as they can use it for political gain.
Mitch gets crdit for getting that horrible ACB on the court, when there are unlimited numbers of people who seem to think Roe v. Wade wasn’t decided correctly.
She was chosen for her belief in unlimited emergency exceptions to the Bill of Rights.
Yes she did refer to a “domestic supply of infants”, and I fully understand the point she was trying to make when she said it, but I am still disgusted that she thinks that way, even if people who are against the court right now have taken it out of context.
She adopted two Black girls while she was pregnant. Who would do such a thing? Only one obsessed with virtue display.
Foreigners, Haitians, at that.
She is fully one with the matriarchal Hive. Its males, mere drones, eunuchs of Tubman, Distrito Federale.
“a domestic supply of infants”,
Ha!
We shouldn’t be a two party system. And we aren’t, officially, it’s just how it’s been engineered.
here’s what i don’t get: these justices live in VA and MD. they don’t have DC juries or prosecutors there. so why aren’t the VA or MD cops arresting these “insurrectionists” and prosecuting them.
hopefully, the supremes will wake up and smell the coffee as to how far they’ve gone over the past 50 years or so.
Because the insurrectionists have the approval of Dr. Jill.
Yup.
Psaki issued a barely veiled threat from the Executive before the weekend.
What was that? I mean, the veiled threat?

Sometimes what is revealed by incidents such as this is not so much who really holds power (I’m sure there’s someone above those whom we can actually see, like Soros) but who holds only the appearance of power.
And it might be a good time to line up some Depression era recipes for good measure:
“With the crucial time for USA spring planting at its critical phase, CF Industries of Deerfield, Illinois, the largest US supplier of nitrogen fertilizers as well as a vital diesel engine additive, issued a press release stating that, “On Friday, April 8, 2022, Union Pacific informed CF Industries without advance notice that it was mandating certain shippers to reduce the volume of private cars on its railroad effective immediately.”
Without advance notice — effective immediately.
And the Biden administration wants to use more biofuels so less corn for consumption by humans and livestock. Speaking of livestock, 23 million chicken and turkeys have been killed. So up goes the price of eggs along with gas, utilities and all food.

Im on utube. Someone is saying that Neon is from Ukraine and needed for computer chips.
That is correct.
Most sources say 50% of the world’s neon comes from Ukraine.
Here is a source arguing that neon figure is 90%:

Prep accordingly.
Energy in general is an issue.
Yes, Neon from the Ukraine, the place is a huge supplier.
Bitcoin (as a generic term) uses a huge, like really big, amount of energy to mine. In an energy shortage, with rolling blackouts, I’m not convinced the bitcoin miners will be open for business on a regular basis. Also, the processors are fried in about 2 year, not the usual 4. Didn’t mention energy rationing could spell doom for them.
My opinion: pm have stood the test of time.
People talk about IoT. It takes energy. The green deal items have a short shelf life and take ungreen stuff to produce.
Coal… I’ve read in passing we have enough in this country to last centuries.
Yes, as the analysts at Doomberg Chicken say, “Energy is life.”
The IoT techno-dystopia they are promising will require at least an order of magnitude more energy than what we have now.
My understanding of crypto is that transactions require certain minimum percentage of network clients for validation.
What happens if enough client access is lost to fall below that minimum percentage? Is it still possible to transact?
Yes, the real Black Gold. Not oil or Texas Tea.
We shall grow strong under the murky skies of coal run nation. Sometimes even the snow will be black. How beautiful!
I doubt we have that much coal or they wouldn’t be blowing up entire mountain tops to get it.
Talk about ruining water supplies!
A couple starups propose to reduce bitcoin energy usage and congestion by 95%.
The bitcoin backbone tech is proposed to be an Internet 2.0 with an app-based service economy, as revolutionary as the Internet was.

Covid was the soften-em-up jab, famine is the knockout roundhouse.
The Southern tier uses ivermectin for river parasite and HCQ for malaria, so Covid didn’t do for the teeming, breeding masses. Starvation and plague will.
The Northern Tier has been sterilized, so they’re done too.
Has to happen. Oil, the energy revolution, was abused and overused into petrochemical pharma tyranny, non-biodegradeable plastics, soil-sterilizing fertilizer runoff, bitumin and tuoluene land poison, military fuel, and war-backed bonds for predatory Deep State expansion.

Biofuel corn is not sweet table corn, is it?
However corn needs fertilizer etc.
No. I’m not sure its even edible.
I think it’s edible if you grind it into cornmeal.
I think cattle will eat it.
Oh, yeah, cattle, goats and chickens.
Mix a little molasses in it and they go nuts for it.
But cattle are not supposed to eat grain.
They are evolved to eat grass (why they have multiple stomachs and chew their cud).
At the end of the movie The Magnificent Seven, the young guy turns around to see the woman he loves grinding corn on a grindstone and he goes back to her.
The Mexican grocery in my town used to have those grindstones, but covid closed them down.
Doh! I should have gotten one before.
Anyway, that is how you do it.
Unless you have a blender and electricity.
It will be more acreage under production for corn to be used for biofuel rather than sweet corn or other vegetables, grazing land, etc. And this money goes overwhelmingly to agribusiness, not family farms.
YES
Using biomass or better yet cellulose from the biomass for fuel!
the corn stalks are better ethanol source than the corn kernel!
Same with switchgrass or hemp stems and stocks!
Corn is actually not very good for ethanol production.
https://itstillruns.com/convert-switchgrass-ethanol-7356509.html
Blum Distillation in Watsonville, CA, uses 100% ethanol fuel to achieve petroleum’s power (and the high temperatures needed for modern manufacturing processes) without the NOX, bitumen, tuoluene, and other poisonous emissions.
It’s exhaust is mostly water vapor, like hydrogen, but without the dangerous and overcomplcated production.
Ethanol, surprisingly, can replace much of petro with existing tech and minor modification. Homemade hemp fuel used to run 1/3 of Midwestern tractors. And grease fuel- what’s not to like about an organic exhaust that smells like french fries?

D – it doesn’t matter if they are speeding, DUI, driving recklessly, driving without a tag, license or insurance – the reason they will be pulled over, is because they are black, don’t you know?
That’s also why blacks make up the highest percentage of the incarcerated population – not because they commit more crime – it’s because they are black.
Right except when they aren’t and then you end up with these really uncomfortable statistics.
Kind of like the current crime-wave.
crime is not a wave.

It’s been a terrible miscarriage of justice and where have Republicans AND Trump been in denouncing it and demanding justice for them?
The useless Trump, the hated de facto leader of a useless party. Of course Mitch and the Rinos are really in charge. Why call them that? That’s the real Republican party.
Didn’t you get the memo?

Without a grounding in the reality of physical existence it is hard to see how pervasive our problems are. Too many people using too many resources. Both Left and Right parties ignore that the Earth has a say and until we give up the idea of industrial society, we will not be able to manage the decline gracefully.
With 8 billion humans (and growing) a graceful decline is not in the cards.
The earth is a closed system.
A lot of people don’t get that yet.
The basic problem is “load,” not population numbers per se.
When I look around at the humongous “pickup” trucks and SUVs, I don’t the feeling that this is a society that understands the concept of
FRUGALITIY.
This used to be a virtue, even in the flush fifties.
No longer. People have no idea how to be frugal and need a special supplement in the paper or a special week at the cinema to be schooled in that virtue. Of course all the advertisers, presenters, life style coaches etc. are sucking at the “save the planet” tit. A lot of these people have probably gotten grants of some kind to promote “responding to climate change.”
While still driving around in SUVs and using clothes driers (that last being my particular bete-noire; total waste of effing energy because people are too effing lazy and too embarrassed to hang up their laundry in the backyard).
First you have to have a backyard.
You have to live somewhere without a lot of rain, and be home in the event of a sudden shower as well.
Also with a big family, your kids might have clothing such as uniforms that they need to was and use again right away.
There’s also the factor that in some neighborhoods, clothes hung out on the line will go missing.
For some reason, there are people with the belief that using the drier is cleaner.
Yes if you leave something outside for a long time it will get dirt on it, but just how long are your clothes out there?
You can hang clothes on a rack in an apartment. I used to do it, even with diapers.
Girls walk around practically naked – at least during the nice part of the year. Guys walk around with their pants falling down – used to be a black thing, not anymore, cultural appropriation. But no one wants anyone to see their freaky knickers hanging from a clothesline.
Great Meteor – where are you?
Paula: one of the advantages of living in a Victorian flat is that they have high ceilings so you can have a pulley in the kitchen for drying clothes, so it takes up no floor space. 🙂
We have a shared garden too, fortunately. I actually like seeing laundry blowing in the wind. I think it started with watching babies’ nappies flapping by the dozen on a good drying day.
Contemplating the number of disposable nappies that go to landfill every day makes me feel ill.
i always hang my cloths out. even in the winter, they dry just a little slower. my mother hung them in the attic .she never had a dryer till maybe 2000.
No.
I don’t have a backyard.
Nor do I have a dryer.
But I air-dry my clothes.
As do many who live in apartments all over the world. Or they hang the clothes out the window—so-called “flags of shame.”
When I had a house I had a dryer. But I rarely used it. The first thing I did was have a fellow come and build me a very attractive laundry-line thing. Kind of Japanese-y looking.
Clothes dryers are the most wasteful appliance in the house. They don’t even make any so-called Energy Star models. Sucking up electricity to create a hot wind when the wind is blowing anyhow is kind of dumb.
What do you think people did before dryers became ubiquitous, in the early 1960s? Of course dryers can be a huge convenience when needed, including in rainy weather or rainy climates or in an emergency. But that is the exception, not the rule. People who are serious about reducing their carbon footprint should look first to their clothes dryers.
Islander
Wonder how many folks are buying SUVs and PU trucks because it might be the last chance to do it?
I got some bad news for them, it is already too late.
i have a GMC Suburban 42 gallon tank, it’s 27 years old and i consider it fairly new,. I wish it had a carburetor but it’s fuel injected
I read that there is a buildup of low-mileage vehicles on used-car lots.
The more people, the heavier the load.
Do you imagine a world of 8 billion, all living like we’re in the 1700’s? The population would crash without high tech farming. People wouldn’t accept that lifestyle anyway, not for them and theirs. Make the other guy into a peasant – that’s the game. Your peasant….
“The population would crash without high tech farming.” Not so sure about that. Not as direct cause-and-effect anyway.
I have read that the traditional family farm produced more nutrition per acre that industrial agriculture. Industrialized agriculture also requires lots of people employed in auxiliary support positions.
Of course for the family farm approach to work, most people would have to be farmers. Most people don’t want to be farmers. I’m ok with spoiled imbeciles dying off and removing their genes from the pool.
when the family is hungry, the family will want to farm.
Blackbird:
“I have read that the traditional family farm produced more nutrition per acre that industrial agriculture. Industrialized agriculture also requires lots of people employed in auxiliary support positions.”
I just read in Clive Ponting’s Green History of the world, that gathering as in hunter gathering actually produced more food than agriculture. So far he has not answered the question as to why human turned to agriculture in the first place.
My working hypothesis is that it occurred in a context of the growth of hierarchical relationships in certain groups. I think Lewis Mumford, Technics and Civilization, is the go-to guy on this transition and what it meant, but I don’t have that volume here.
One of his core ideas IIRC correctly is that the first “machine” was an agricultural regime where humans were the moving “parts.”
.
Who is going to give the Eight Billion the acre of two they need to raise food? That would have to be a policy set from the very top. Back to Globalism – and they don’t wanna do any such thing.
Start a twitter campaign for all the woke to go get another booster in anticipation of the White House warning of new variants that might appear, it’s the very least a compassionate person could do.

They are openly supporting Nazis now.
It blows my mind that Americans, inculcated since birth with “Nazis bad” have been flipped so suddenly.

Some people have yet to condemn Stalinism. Talk about being asleep at the wheel….
Even Putin has condemned Stalinism.
Obviously Nazis who fight for International Finance aren’t real National Socialists. They’re just thugs or hopelessly confused nationalists, kind of like Americans who went to fight in Vietnam or Korea.

“roughly six months of nice weather to get through…”
This weekend a man was arrested in Portland for vandalism on a Muslim center and a synagogue, He is a unemployed left-leaning freelance writer. Apparently the world of real problems wasn’t exciting enough for him to write about so he was trying to create some. He was so desperate he went to a tv news station and told them, “I’m the guy,”
So we know there are people who yearn for the summer of ’20 but the climate isn’t and won’t be the same. I mean this metaphorically of course but perhaps weather-wise (also a well-honed weapon) as well.
Yeah I think you are correct, D. The public is less tolerant and more hardened to the antics we witnessed in Portland, Kenosha, Minneapolis, Seattle, Rochester and so on, during the summer of 2020. I sense things have changed. I think this time around when “Mostly Peaceful Protesters” wade into the streets stopping traffic and begin dragging people from cars, this time around the reaction might be a little different.
Gotta cite?
If you can’t find a story and get noticed, you can try to make one.
Heh. I read “the simmer of ’20”.
Disney is building a new park in CA with a 26-acre lagoon and no doubt swimming pools…..but telling the local residents to cut back on water usage!
We are supposed to worry about “pensions” but meanwhile people are paid to come here and given I-phones, flown wherever and have the rent paid, etc.
Don’t forget the still pending “Biden Plan” to give every illegal family 450,000 dollars. The mind reels…..
I’m hoping one of these days you guys will begin to emotionally balance out.
First it was hopium thinking that things would go back to normal aka happy motoring. Now, cynical pessimism is all the rage, with dark moody expectations.
How about, what we’re seeing & experiencing is just the logical and completely normal step down function as we transition to scarcity.
But, you claim, the entire system, whether supply chains, governance or finance are so dependent on surplus that the entire edifice will fall.
Yes, there will be systemic failures, but make work patches will always be sufficient to keep critical elements operating.
Collapse is a long drawn out process. We know the inevitable future outcomes ie lower population levels, less energy consumption, lower standards of living.
But there are plus sides as well to keep people satisfied. Drugs, alcohol, sex, a complete virtual reality easily maintained as long as electicy flows.
Nuke power means society can continue to cobble along. Since it preserves the existing govt system, you can bank this is what will be rolled out.
So please stop being so negative. A poster above noted how he transitioned in a smaller town. I believe this is the future model. No exciting crash, just a slower wind down.
A sensible post, Mitchellc; as for myself, I think I’ll plant a few spuds today. And some Chard. And transplant those onions . . . etc., etc., etc.
Also, Putin looked healthy enough. Last week ABC reported he was dying of cancer.
True, BRH. But I’m sure all the generals behind him were cardboard cutouts. Apparently, the Ukies have killed his whole general staff…
CNN is warning against violent White Supremacist mobs terrorizing Peaceful Pro Abortion Protesters showing up at Catholic Churches and Supreme Court Judges houses lol. I sh#t you not CFNers.
I was a little surprised by the Victory Day Parade in Moscow yesterday. We have been told for the last 2 months that Russia is running out of soldiers, all their gear has been smashed and destroyed, the army has mutinied, and the General Officers have been assassinated. There were tens of thousands of soldiers, sailors and airmen marching past yesterday, and they looked pretty loyal, polished and squared away. Lot of officers with stars on their collar, plenty of tanks, artillery, rockets etc. It certainly didn’t look like an army on its last legs.
Who you going believe, CNN or your lying eyes?
Why aren’t they in Ukraine already?
Just inversion again. In reality the mobs are the leftist globocap crowd terrorizing US Supreme Court justices at their homes.
If it were anyone other than paid Soros groups, they would be sitting in jail.

Hey, I actually corrected your statement.
You’re welcome.
There is a papertrail a mile long for BLM and co.
That your cromagnon brain is unaware of this fact is of no surprise to anyone here.
Not nearly so mind-boggling as the shallowness and triviality of your comments–which are so near to being pre-verbal that you might just as well post howls and grunts.
Your inability to construct a sentence that actually expresses a thought is–as is invariably the case–an indication that you have no thoughts to express,
Best I can guess from non-US sources is they’re using 10%-12% of capability, particularly regarding troops on the ground.
The stated purpose is de-nazification and de-militarization.
Not destruction.
Possibly, as some claim, they underestimated needs.
Another version is if ground advisors & trainers with some weapons would cease being introduced via the western part of the territory it would end sooner with less death and destruction.
But then…. the laundromat, atm (and science labs?) would be gone before all their assets could be transferred west.
Check out the Dreizen Report.
Pretty good explanation of how the Russians’ mission is changing. Might say, creeping.
https://thedreizinreport.com/2022/05/05/the-script-is-flipped/
But not the ultimate war aim, which as you say is denazification of the Ukraine.
Dreizen: Russia tried to go in “soft” and just denazify and demilitarize. Not destroy. Basically, involvement of West and discovery of biolabs etc. has changed the picture, left them little choice except to, e.g.k destroy infrastructure to prevent further arming of UKR military by NATO/USA. . Now they are going to occupy and keep a large chunk of Ukr.
Thanks for the link. Took a quick look will be going back.
Just for the record, and in case you have not stumbled across it, there is a very thorough and damning record of Ukranian collaboration with the Nazis, thanks to Wikipedia. Quite amazing reading.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ukrainian_collaboration_with_Nazi_Germany
Excerpt: ‘In May 2006, the Ukrainian newspaper Ukraine Christian News commented, “Carrying out the massacre was the Einsatzgruppe C, supported by members of a Waffen-SS battalion and units of the Ukrainian auxiliary police, under the general command of Friedrich Jeckeln. The participation of Ukrainian collaborators in these events, now documented and proven, is a matter of painful public debate in Ukraine.’
BRH, yes, and that was just in Moscow. The Russians had similar celebrations with similar soldiers and hardware all over Russia (many many cities). I watched several on telegram.
“So please stop being so negative. ”
Mitch,
Of course, you are correct. I, myself, am positive that things are going to get worse…
Your advice is good, mitchellc, but you seem determined to ignore the emotional aspect of human nature, which is . . . illogical on your part. It’s not going to go away. We have to work with what we have, and most people do have strong emotional responses to being cancelled, starved, injected with toxins, etc. We have those emotions for ourselves and, often more importantly, for those we love. Perhaps those emotions get in the way of the best possible response, but we are all humans – including our enemies – and are by nature incapable of the most logical response to anything.
I don’t think that what we are seeing is just a normal response to scarcity. You seem to be ignoring the herculean efforts on the part of governments around the world to control us, using methods and means that have never been available before. Turn off someone’s bank account and there are few if any workarounds, particularly in an era when we’re surveilled and don’t have the strong family ties to rely on that were once in place. I think your outlook is overly optimistic and assumes no steps will be taken to block any “make work patches” we come up with.
I agree with every word, Rowdy. At the beginning of the “pandemic” I believed there were so mistakes made due to incompetence rather than gaining submission and control. But nationwide and worldwide also, the draconian measures to coerce, dominate and punish those who didn’t fall in line are too obvious to be ignored. BTW, did anyone notice the Biden administration has asked for an additional $32 billion dollars for covid?
Decline is here. The area I live in has real poverty and it will be generational. Fortunately the schools did not close so there’s hope that the kids will receive an education.
Schools not closing is a bad thing.
How much of that children’s time is spent learning useful things, or even just the Three R’s?
An education? You mean learning that they are moral inferiors if White? That their ancestors were scum? That Indians and Blacks are the real Americans? That men and women don’t exist, and thus neither do boys and girls? That they are literally nothing except what they choose – and what is the basis of such a choice?
Lao Tzu: Close the schools. The people will benefit a hundred fold.
The real issue is what to do with them while both parents are at work. As for “education”, teach them yourself if you can find enough time and freedom from “work”.
Take your kids out of school – but don’t try to teach them yourself, they’ll end up as stupid as you, if not stupider. First, build a community. Second, from among that community, pick the smartest sons – and daughters – of bitches and have them teach. Maybe make sure your new teachers don’t freeze or starve as pay.
But no. All our efforts will be focused on chasing down that incredible shrinking dollar rather than our kids. America, welcome to the future we’ve earned.
Blackbird, I think a lot of people, especially parents, have come to a similar conclusion.
We need to find a third way. Not the existing government schools, not home schooling (unless that’s what parents prefer).
Per Beryl, one room schoolhouses, so kids of all ages learn from being around each other in the morning before they go off to their jobs in the afternoon.
A house in each block, just like nursery school.
Practical skills. Math should be for measuring a tablecloth, etc., with 5% going to higher ed. This country was built by people with 8th grade educations.
I’ve been saying that the entire public school system–K through Phd–should be shut down completely. The public schools provide almost no education at all, and what little they do provide is offset by mis-education.
Kids are graduating innumerate and nearly illiterate. Statistics are worse for black kids. In the inner-city schools, about 80% of them graduate illiterate. The white suburban and rural schools just do a piss-poor job. It would take very little effort on the parents’ part to do better.
@ Beryl of Oyl:
There actually is a third way–one I’ve been proposing for several years now. Yesterday one of my daughters told me that there is a Catholic school in this area that is using this method.
The “third way” is to combine home schooling with a limited amount of private schooling. Parents would home school, but kids would also attend classes for a few hours each week. For example, a class for a particular grade level might meet for 2-4 hours a week. Or kids taking more advanced classes could enroll in, for example, a once-a-week science or math class. Music classes could also be offered.
These “hybrid” schools would most likely be run by the churches, though there is no reason why other organizations couldn’t run them. Most churches already have space available for classrooms or meeting rooms anyway.
Minimizing classroom hours should greatly reduce the costs of running the schools, and parents who were willing to teach classes could get free or reduced tuition for their own kids.
The fact that this isn’t being widely done already, despite the general disgust with the public school system, tells you that it’s immensely challenging to organize such a thing.

I’m with you, Rowdy.
mitchellc wants to live in an emotionless, robotic sort of world. I’m not remotely interested in being a sociopath.
Please please PLEASE educated on how things are going to get better if Number #2 heating oil in New England, averages $6.00 a gallon…..IN MAY fer chrissakes
No one is saying things are going to “get better”. (And that in itself is entirely relative.)
I’m just saying that life goes on. Since that’s the base line reality, any subjective opinion beyond being alive ie food, water, shelter, is merely a quality assessment.
‘All quiet’ had a big impact on my pov. Nothing is as bad as that, and even then 10s of millions survived. 5 years later the roaring 20s hit and ww1 was mostly forgotten.
The only way soldiers survived was to treat the trenches as ‘normal’. Their daily routine was to kill somebody. Soon enough, it’s just another boring job.
That’s what I’m trying to impart here. Be happy you’re even alive. If you know why and what is happening, you’re way ahead of the curve.
That knowlwdge is powerful – it gives you a chance to prepare, to be mentally strong while others are confronting the truth for the first time.
We know what schwab, gates and all the rest know. We know what they’re doing in an attempt to mitigate the looming crisis.
But it’s easy enough to retreat to safe zones with like minded people. Jim wrote about this a long time ago, and acted on his insights when getting his mini farm.
These exits are still wide open. You just have to move past the grief stage and accept reality.
What you’re trying to impart here is a bunch of philosophical nonsense that hopefully will make you the first target for the pitchforks, tar and feather crowd. You’re an insensitive bastard. Obviously, you’re also a millennial POS because you’re aping the G.I. Joe 1980s refrain of “Knowing is half-the battle” It’ll be great to know that living in a home with no heat is best endured by treating it as normal.
With the way things are going, I may have to winterize my house by flushing all the water lines and turning my water off for the winter. Then I will resort to simple sponge baths on a bi-weekly basis and to provide warmth begin burning my excess magazines that I’ve been hording. I guess I could always hit up a local YMCA or truck stop to take a more proper shower. I have plenty of blankets, sweatshirts, etc. to swaddle myself in to get through the long cold nights that await in the future.
None of this is the future I had in mind when I was growing up. Our standard of living is definitely going to be knocked down a few rungs from that of our parents.
And cowbell, they are also trying to make us think that we caused this, that expecting to continue the standard of living our parents and grandparents worked hard to leave us with, and we worked hard to maintain, is somehow foolish and illicit.
It’s our government doing this to us intentionally.
I hear you cowbell. Six months of the year I pay more to keep my house at 52 F than I spend on everything else put together – food, electricity, fuel for the car, car insurance, credit card and student loan debt. The other six months I have to save the money needed to make it through the winter. And it ain’t gonna get better, it’s gonna get worse. I’ve adapted as mitchellc suggests, but you can only adapt so far. Eventually you realize you are being robbed. Then the real fun starts.
Right on, Crusher.
I don’t know about your parents, Cowbell, but my parents grew up without running water, indoor plumbing or heat.
The difference was that they didn’t have plenty of clothes to keep them warm. And they had to put cardboard in their shoes to cover the holes.
@ Paula D:
My parents too grew up without indoor plumbing or runnning water, and the heating and cooking was done on a wood stove. One of my mother’s chores as a 3-5-year-old was to collect wood chips for kindling. Winter evenings were spent shelling beans around the wood stove.
My mother was always a clean-freak, and I think that this was probably because, for people who grew up without running water, cleanlines–in the way of your person, your clothes, or your house–was an immense luxury.
I don’t suppose anyone wants practical advice on keeping warm, but here goes.
Google the Japanese kotatsu. A heat source is placed under a low table that is covered with a voluminous quilt, with a piece of wood on top to provide a solid table surface. Everyone sits around the table with the lower half of their bodies under the table. That’s where everyone has dinner, does homework, plays games, or whatever.
The Japanese never had any other form of home heating until recent times.
I conserve heat in the winter by putting a space heater under my desk. (I’ve never covered the desk with a quilt–yet.)

E. I’ve been reading a few books about the Mob this Spring. Surprised to learn the .22 LR was a favorite caliber for hits. That’s in NYC, Jersey & Philadelphia. Not sure how the rolled in Chi, KC & LA.
I’d guess they like that caliber because it’s light recoil, easy to surpress, and can pack quite a few rounds into a single magazine.

The scariest part is seeing JHK’s usual optimism vanish.
Indeed. Even so, I greatly enjoyed – as always – his felicitous turns of phrase. Reading the actions of our supposed public servants described as “depraved insolence” is beyond satisfying. It’s pure perfection.
It’s being discovered that anhedonia is much more that just the inability to feel pleasure.
I’m pretty sure he snuck a fedpost in there.
Scary? I’d say refreshing. In my opinion, there is no room for optimism – except on the very small scale, or on a very long timeline.
I think optimism is important. I’ve cultivated it through the years. I don’t sit around waiting for someone to bring it to me. It’s not a fantasy world. it keeps depressive thoughts, as opposed to realistic thoughts and observations which might not be all rosy, in check.
With this in mind, recognizing there is a range of normal regarding mood swings is healthy. Without them we’d likely all have flat affect and be rather uninteresting.
It seems to me that people are happier and more optimistic when they are challenged–as long as there is some kind of action they can take to meet the challenge. People mostly seem to get depressed when their lives are too easy, or when they can see no way out of the problems that trouble them.
The woes we talk about here are mainly a downer because little or no action is possible. If our biggest problem was where to get dinner, and we had a gun and an abundance of rabbits and squirrels roaming around, life might seem pretty good while the squirrels were frying.
Agree. I am buoyed by his optimistic takes.
Maybe he’s just realized that the WEF is not just some cartoon villains after all .
“The necessary equipment consists of two plum-sized glands generally assigned at birth to persons of the male persuasion.”
Nice. As if these days those who are male must be ‘persuaded’ into it.
So many factors at play in the forces of emasculation – media and estrogen mimics that we injest daily from plastics, pesticides, and herbicides. Even beer was made with barley sprayed w roundup as a drying agent.
Kind of off topic, but I have a younger friend who used to marvel at my prodigious reading habit, but due to my influence he developed his own.
He talks about how much more informed one can become by reading just a single book, than someone who hasn’t read it.

Let the infants starve, they should have been aborted anyways according to all of the Roe protesters.
Ann ‘Rand’ said similar.
or did she?
Ayn Rand: Sociopath Who Admired a Serial Killer? – Learn Religions
Back in the late 1920s, as Ayn Rand was working out her philosophy, she became enthralled by a real-life American serial killer, William Edward Hickman, whose gruesome, sadistic dismemberment of 12-year-old girl named Marion Parker in 1927 shocked the nation. Rand filled her early notebooks with worshipful praise of Hickman.

Hope.
A true marvel of cognitive dissonance.
Unable to accept things as they are, the human mind has the uncanny ability to hurtle present time suboptimals into the future.
Tagged and indexed as a “we’ll circle-back”
Ain’t nobody got time for that, now.
A very reliable mechanism of psychological self-preservation.
Of course this only works when one is not forced to deal with the issue at hand in the present moment, and right now, most people are not.
Because nothing is pressing.
Nothing really matters.
So go ahead, lock those thoughts of civilization’s end, of the loss of liberty, freedom, privacy; the plethora of unaccountables from Fauci to Wuhan to Pfizer to Mail-in Voting to Russia-gate to Ukraine meddling, China’s lead on Pandemic restrictions, your Uni-party “republic”, etc., etc., all in your mind, perhaps behind something as weakly protected as Analf**k69.
Although that sure is apropos: soon your prevarications will be rewarded with exactly that: intense and unwanted anal***kery, because come November
It only comes due

The RNC had access to the same footage that Mr. D’Souza used in his movie? Didn’t they? Weren’t they also sitting on a yuge pile of money meant to fight voter fraud?
The reality is, they wanted Trump out of there so bad, they allowed Joe Biden to happen.

Abortion restrictions. Alluding to banned contraceptives.
Now why would they stoke fear in the centrists?
Why would the deep-state create these circumstances at this precise time?
Even employing the judicial branch.
Why would they push the middle towards the left?
Well what does the GOP fear most?
The loss of their “party”.
Their identity.
Their seat at the table.
What does the deep-state fear most?
Their loss of control.
The battle you think you are seeing is just surface theater.
Far down below the real war is waging.
Maintain the status quo.
As I said back in 2015 and 2016, Trump and a new GOP order is a threat to both parties, because it is one party, and it does anything to survive.

Yes, and the reason the people in places like Australia and NZ didn’t rise up and bodily remove the “leaders” who were imposing a totalitarian coup on them. Too many people bought into its being about a virus.
Now the Australian PM wants to make it illegal to grow your own food.
If that doesn’t clue people into what the last two years were about, nothing will.
If we fought WWIII today they would likely make Victory Gardens illegal, not to mention difficulty due to lack of seeds, fertilizer, and improper carbon offsets.
Difficulty of just not being used to how much hard physical labor growing food in any quantity can be, as well.
The point of today’s world war would be to ensure that you never have access to a garden, much less any sort of victory over the Schwabian technocrats.
So, yeah.

“Everyone I know is walking around in a baseline state of nervous agitation.”
This is not good for one’s health. Lighten up, people. None of this matters in the end. And to walk around in a state of nervous agitation is what ‘They’ want you to do. Screw that. Don’t give Them what They want. No matter how bad it gets… throw Them a smirk and one of the fingers on your right hand. Or both hands. And maybe your feet just so They get the message.
“Got money? Looks like soon it will be worthless.”
People have not used real money to conduct business since 1913. The ‘money’ has always been worthless since that fateful date. It’s just that now We the People UNDERSTAND that what we’ve been filling our pocketbooks with is worthless. The illusion of it having value has fallen from people’s vision and we see it for the store of emptiness that it is. Time for Money Scam 2.0, financial wizards.

“Hope abides that the November elections might set up a correction to much of this madness.”
Has anything been done to secure the integrity of the election process since the Big Steal of 2020? Has anyone checked deeply into the black box technology of the voting machines that are not supposed to be hooked up to the web… but are? Has a more professional, highly ethical group of people been brought in to administer the elections in all locales? Have County Clerks found Jesus? Has Big Corporate State Media and Anti Social Media changed their policies to allow free debate and bad news about the Blue Side to freely appear on their platforms? And we might add… has the Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy also shown up lately in your bedroom? Because it appears that NONE of these things have been done. Because none of this serves The Larger Agenda. The grand unholy agenda as administered by the Predator Ungodly Class Who Rules Over Us.

Asking so, so sincerely and with an only slightly troubled mien (acting, of course) that maybe the authoritarians are the ones with the right answer to the dreaded coof and we should copy them!
I’ve noticed that State Media has been recently promoting a “increase in covid for fall/winter” which coincides with voting in November. So watch for the party of Chaos to once again claim that mail-in voting must be sent out universally, and manipulate more election results.
vax = death for many.
I am fully vaccinated and boosted. I would not take horse dewormer medicine on a bet. I think people who crusade against the Covid vaccine have a screw loose. Covid deaths among the unvaccinated are astronomical compared to the vaccinated. See the chart. Especially the bottom line in the chart, vaccinated and boosted I am in that group.
Nuff said.

The CDC has lied non-stop about covid.

that right there is some of the dumbest sh*t i’ve read here in a while. don’t even know where to start…
You seem to be trying to start an argument, but I think you’ll find that few, if any, care about your vaccinations provided you’re not trying to force us to take them. In fact, I’d encourage you to take as many vaccinations as are on offer.
@ Ron Patterson:
You aren’t really following this story–or the data–are you?
Even though the increase in covid will be amongst the vaccinated 5 or 6 times.
It was mentioned briefly on the news that Biden asked Congress for an additional $32 billion for covid. You may be right Pete.
$32 billion for Covid, $33 billion for Ukraine, $1.5 trillion for student loan forgiveness — we’re starting to talk about real money here lol.
Don’t forget about the $133 billion spent on Illegal Aliens.
So how’s it work? Is there a bank account somewhere you go and withdraw $133 billion, take it to the border and start handing out envelopes full of cash to Jose, Maria and Juan?
That’s only enough to make millionaires out of 133,000 of them.
Is this your country? No, it isn’t.
Heckler,
Yes, that is how it works. When the system is being imploded, your friends at the Fed (or any other private federal bank) print the money you require, regardless of any negative impact on the national or world financial situation.

Based Black Relationship Coach dead at age 56. His famously savage tough love on Black women made him loved even by people who don’t like Blacks. But in truth, he was often just as hard on Black men. As one said, all he ever wanted was for Black men and women to come together.

Other than the fact he told blk women the truth, he was kinda unremarkable; until you realize everybody is afraid to tell blk women the truth.
He’s the one who said “modern women are looking for wives.”
Tommy Sotomayor is the same way. He is the one who reminded men that women know they can’t put their husband on child support; hence it is often the women who refuses to marry the father of her child.
“Modern women are looking for wives.”
I have tried to help. One young guy who was formerly a neighbor once told me that he was planning to find a “cougar” and become a house-husband.
I offered to teach him to crochet. He did not seem interested.
One of his other favorite topics of conversation was that women were so greedy and materialistic that the first thing they asked when they met him was, “What do you do?” (He had been unemployed for some time, after being fired from his job as a pizza delivery boy.)
I wasn’t quick-witted enough to suggest that he apply to some of his guy friends to support him, since the ladies had proven to be such scrooges.
Where’s the hook and what’s the catch? Nothing in life is free, when will people realize this? In exchange for the “free” internet to low income people, this will allow the government to further spy on them and indoctrinate them with propaganda. Went to school with a guy known as “Ziploc” – for the obvious reason.
I tend to agree that there should be some kind of threshold over which we pass on our way to adulthood – otherwise we seem to remain children. Don’t know of anyone born after 1945 in the US that ever reached adulthood. Mudpuppies all.
its like this – i was raised by silents born before ww2, whose parents raised them with the recent experience of the great depression, in the most out of the way corner of the county imaginable – no interstate until i was 10 years old.
my mother used to line the toilet seat for us toddlers, in my uncle’s town block corner lunch counter, saying “some dirty hippy might have used this”.
our town had barely changed in 100 years, except to become a little more prosperous, our region having weathered said great depression better than most. too many farmers and machinists used to keeping body and soul together with our own hands and un-bendable will.
the worst was the after effect of the prohibition followed by the shell shocked pause after ww2, but none of that was really a problem until hippy culture and the boomers and the tavistock rearrangement of the boob tube and mass culture.
so, you tell me, what part of your “anyone after 1945” statement has any real meaning?

By and large, the Special Forces aren’t real patriots anymore and see them as potential enemies. How sad and tragic is that?
The globalists/commies systematically targeted and destroyed anything that exemplified American exceptionalism, and anything that brought black and white Americans together in a common culture.
Then they went after our history, and now they are trying their damnedest to separate American children from their parents, with the government and the commie teachers union trying to indoctrinate them with gender nonsense in our schools.
The goal is to slowly change your concept of procreation.
From an unbridled human right and personal decision to a state sanctioned and approved privilege.
Whites and blacks don’t have a common culture and desire for separation-autonomy are a natural reaction for a small majority of these respective groups. most married women don’t want to be home with the kids and especially single mothers who need to work. Does any one think these suspicious Russian fires also bear a striking similarity and connection to the fires that have been occurring at food processing plants here in the US?

This all seems too strange to be mere coincidental.
Way too much coinkydink for me, yes.
During these upcoming six months of pleasant weather, America will revert to an isolationist mentality because there’s going to be a wholesale economic collapse.
Extreme inflation is baked in the cake in several respects. Without enough fertilizer, this year’s crop will be horrible. The chip shortage will continue and result in a doubling of the cost of a new laptop. Even basic metals like stainless steel will become very dear.
All of this will result in demand destruction whereupon the American middle class will clamp down so hard on their expenditures that incipient inflation will turn into deflation which is deadly for a country that’s in massive debt at all levels i.e., individual, city, state, federal.
We’ll be lucky if the next 10 years is a Japanese-style “lost decade”. That’s the best case scenario.
computer chips are in so many things.
a doubling of the cost of a new laptop. / yes but the old lap top may be worth saving.
this year’s crop will be horrible…China has the money to pay top dollar for food imports.

JHK – “Hope abides that the November elections might set up a correction to much of this madness.
I’d change the word “correction” to read “shitstorm catalyst”.
I detect a stiff pinch of sarcasm in JHK’s above statement…because this fall is going to suuuuuck. Even if a few seats are picked up by the limp-knobbed right, there will also be a bewildering ceremonial cavalcade of re-elected limp-knobbed (but proud of it) lefty cartoon characters.
And we will just pick up where we left off in the maddening months before the election where nothing, and I mean nothing, can be seen by most outside the realm of politics.
Musk will be blamed for anything and everything that can be thrown at him. And he very well may deserve it.
And methinks our new Murican brand of ol’ fashioned unfounded street riots are a-comin’ back this summer, folks! Not sure what the reason will be, but they’ll figure that out soon enough and let us know via the news before too long, rest assured.
Oh, and don’t forget the next round of “covid” come November.
Meantime, take care of your families, swing them golf clubs, keep your tanks full and the pantry overflowing, because the hope jar ain’t gonna see much action when it comes to public discourse come…well, anytime soon.
And that’s my little ray of sunshine…
I enjoyed Elon’s tweet yesterday:

Jarek, Do you imagine a world of 8 billion, all living like we’re in the 1700’s?

Four youfs (three of them teenage girls) drag elderly White women to her death. She became tangled in the seat belt and they didn’t bother to stop. Her arm was torn off.
old news but the case is in court. thx
in 1990s? there was a similar case in LA.
An old woman who volunteered for a church. She would deposit the church money.
Somewhere [leaving bank?] a car riding purse snatcher grabbed her purse. she refused to let go and was dragged to her death.
stubborn old woman.
If I recall, 2 of them were 14 when killing her.

“The evidence of drop-box video and smart-phone tracking of the 2020 ballot-stuffers in several states is right there and nobody in American life appears to be equipped to do something about it.”
But an actual journalist – a real one – has already thoroughly and conclusively debunked all this tripe:
https://www.gregpalast.com/2000-mules-belly-laughs-belly-aches-from-dsouzas-proof-that-trump-won/
Like almost all the perceived “disasters” railed about on this board, they’re just bullshit.
Even the Bedpan Biden Presidential Disaster? That seems real.
Yeah, I keep reading about Biden’s ‘disastrous’ presidency, along with the ‘collapsing’ economy and ‘the destruction of Western Civ’. However, the actual stats don’t bear these memes out.
Only a complete imbecile would post the above drivel.

Gas just 18 months ago in San Diego just under $3 a gallon now hovering between $5.59 and $6 a gallon.
Immigration out of control!
Inflation as high if not higher than Jimmy Carter era!
Unemployment figures a train wreck they omit the fact so many people simply gave up and are on public dole and here you are pretending or not to be stupid enough to believe anything this lying thieving Administration says or does.
Everything Joe Biden touches turns to shit.
Obama the master of shit sandwiches even reportedly quipped want something screwed up give it to Joe.
Oh and 2k mules is going to show everyone the truth massive voter fraud caught on camera.
rednut lunatic smokes reefer and posts from his deluded corner. or did you graduate to peyote or LSD?
Poor little benr…that nasty Joe Biden and the Demorats have put up the price of EVERYTHING in order to destroy the world and to personally piss you off.
Biden must have way more influence than even YOU give him credit for!
This current burst of inflation is mainly driven by increased energy prices and supply chain issues.
But, benr, it’s GLOBAL. Not just in San Diego (the cheaper ‘burbs if I recall correctly).
The way unemployment is measured has not been altered recently – sit’s the same methodology since Reagan, and it says 3.2%, with an average of 500,000 jobs being added each month since Jan 2020.
I really enjoy the way you start any response to me by, without fail, calling me an idiot/imbecile/insert-insult-here.
I must say, the accusation of drug abuse is a new one from you, but likely it’s just projection, as usual.
Just as consistently, you go on to make zero points, or if anything, contradict yourself.
In this particular case, I’m guessing you didn’t even bother to read Palast’s article, because it might say something you don’t want to hear…something that would injure your snowflake worldview. Oh, well.
RL – This current burst of inflation is mainly driven by increased energy prices and supply chain issues.
Oh. And how did those things happen again? Who was it that started shutting down pipelines on day one of their presidency?
Well, majella aka rednut you deserve scorn.
It needs to be heaped upon you for lying or being delusional as you called someone else up board.
Your worldview is literally delusional.
Let’s not forget that the Jo Jo Magoo cabal (he’s certainly not calling the shots) has also done to society and culture. Among his ‘accomplishments’ are, along with his CIA goons, launching a Color Revolution in 2020 & continues to back the destruction of major cities using specious ruses/fake causes like ‘defund the police’ etc., causing major unrest, division and the destruction of small businesses.
His policies during covid19 also wrecked the economy and peoples’ lives. Suicide and death as the result of economic hardship and mental anguish have soared. He is overseeing the poisoning of the populace with the deadly quacksines, and instead of reining them in when the deaths started pliing up he doubled down. Now when I say “he” I am fully aware that Jo Jo is just a full diapered drooling con man fronting for the deep state, big pharma and the WHO who controls the ‘health’ agencies really running the show.
So we obviously have nothing even close to a democracy if we ever did. The healthcare complex runs the show, and we live under medical tyranny.
Liberals – or the monied professional class – who are momentarily in charge, enjoy watching kids in schools being groomed and indoctrinated into fetishist groupthink by nonbinary idiots with rainbow hair and a compulsion to force their students to hear all about their sex lives.
And we haven’t even touched upon the Hunter Biden laptop, which has now proved that Jo Jo’s entire family are in bed with the CCP and made millions off the destruction of Ukraine.
Let’s also not forget the massive Afghanistan debacle, in which Jo Jo left Americans behind and handed over $300 billion in military equipment to the Afghanis.
The Rednut Liberal is posting about “real journalists.”
BTW, I have Armed Madhouse on my shelf here. Palast has, like so many lefty progs, been utterly hoodwinked by globocap due to his inability to remove The Orange Man from the space he occupies in his brain.
An intelligent individual would reflect compromised values and weakness for emotionally charged BS, but hey …
LOL.
I have a Palast book too, N.O.
It might be that one. It’s been awhile and yeah, he got co-opted years ago.
He’s on Team Blue No Matter What They Do.
RL – You hqave been taught to disbelieve your own eyes. Congratulations!
Check Mr. Palast’s analysis and then come back and tell me that.
Okay.
Check the 40-50 videos we linked to here 15 months ago showing people putting cardboard over the windows so independent poll watchers couldn’t see what they were doing, then kicking out all the poll workers and rolling out bags full of ballots from under the tables, running them through the machines multiple times in the middle of the night, being caught on microphone saying they shouldn’t talk about what they’re doing because it might be recorded, etc…and we’ll have that chat.
I did. Didn’t buy it then either. None of that was “proof” in any useful sense.
As Palast points out, these “4000 Mules” grifters CLAIM to have lots of videos and evidence, but won’t show it. Why not?
Because it’s probably just more lunatic right-wing fantasy fodder made to order for the Jan 6th Galoots and the whining, greasy little wannabe politicians hanging their hat on Trump’s continuing shameless lie.
Did you read Palast’s piece?
Yes. It reads like it was written by Politifact with a mild bit of humor. Or you. (i.e. find, or create by inference, one thing that is a potential hole in the story and then declare the entire rest of it false as a result. Then sarcastically put in quotes any official-sounding word, like “experts” and “non-profits” to prematurely discount the string of words that precede or follow them.)
Of course D’Souza has an agenda based on his own opinions and conclusions. Friggin derr. So does anyone that ever wrote a book. Or a NYT OpEd. Or a church bulletin.
Love that governments and media try to shape our opinions and tell us thousands of things each day without providing “the proof” (see how effective those quotes can be?), and you buy that.
But a filmmaker, well, they can’t point out obvious connections and make judgments based on them. Right? I mean, certainly Michael Moore never used his opinions to make connections and smooth over a few gaps in his footage, did he?
Greg Palast was allllll over Republican election fraud until the Dems proved to be even better at it. Now, miraculously, he works to debunk election fraud, because his team is the one doing it. I used to respect Palast but now see he’s a paid shill for the Dems and always has been.
I did. Didn’t buy it then either. -rl
No of course not because then you would have to admit that either you are not nearly as smart as you think you are or that you got conned and everything you believe is utter nonsense.
“But the article”
LOL.
Why, MrMango, the solution is simple. We must ban agendas!
Interesting news from benr’s go-to reliable source, ONANist News Network:

It admits there was no fraud in the Georgia count in 2020. Go figure…benr, you should have given us the heads-up on this!
RL – Gee, I wonder if that could perhaps have been a stipulation of the defamation lawsuit they had moments earlier just settled to avoid trial.
Nah, I’m sure they just decided they never had anything to begin with, and had a come to Jesus moment, realizing that they were lying all along.
I’ve seen a few YT videos where someone is filming either 4×4, boating or some other outside activities. In all cases, repair projects and waiting for parts are mentioned. While they expect an eventual completion, what none of them suspect is that this era is over
Surplus allowed all of these peripheral hobbies to develop far past any need or necessity. For example, before pleasure boating began in the 1920s (and mass market in the 60s with fiberglass), shipping was strictly a commercial affair.
as all of these these travel & leisure hobbies begin to feel the effects of scarcity, the economic impact will begin to ripple through the associated service, support and supply sectors
Soon enough, one day people will realize it’s all over, and what you really need is a few acres with access to water and a traditional rail/transport hub system
yep
JHK is Shakespearean as usual … entertaining as hell, but, sadly, like the bard, “full of sound and fury, signifying nothing” – but I must admit I have a grudging admiration for a cat who can turn bombast and endless generic kvetching into what I think must be a pretty good living for himself.

People struggle with various situations, and during a struggle they seek companionship. People who have means or experience, tacit knowledge, of similar situations.

And often times, there, in the coterie, they find someone who has sussed it all out, Who can offer a perspective not considered.
Who can offer the truth, or at least make it palatable.
conscience doth make cowards of us all.
mitchellc, “what you really need is a few acres with access to water and a traditional rail/transport hub system” is (perhaps unintentionally) dismissive of the situation most people are in – particularly those who are no longer young. Most people approaching retirement age are not able to return to a kind of pioneer life of growing their own food on a small farm, even if they could suddenly acquire such a thing. It takes some serious money to do that, and if you haven’t managed it already, it’s unlikely you will do so as real things become more expensive and money less valuable.
Most people still have to work at some sort of job and are not independently wealthy. It isn’t possible to just buy a place in the country and walk away, having no ongoing source of income. Few people really understood or could accept the extent to which our options would become limited. Now that it has happened (and we certainly haven’t yet seen the worst) anyone who didn’t begin preparing quite a while back is not in a position to do so now.
I realize you have a very Darwinian view of other people and would probably just say that someone with insufficient money to buy and work a farm is not worth your consideration and deserves what happens to them. I won’t be joining you in dismissing family members and loved ones who didn’t realize it would get this bad.
Thank you Mr.M. I’m already home, feeling the pain, which is good, as I hear pain is a good indicator of still being alive. But I was pissed because I was hoping to be awakened from surgery by a beautiful angel, but to my chagrin it was an old, fat lady (and she didn’t even sing, thank goodness, another example of showing I’m still alive.
Meant for Mr Mango.
Haha, bill…moments like your wake-up prove that God must have a sense of humor.
Serious shortages, major hiccups rifling-through the cajones supply-chain…
Ha-ha.
Yeah, baby formula supply coming up short. And articles in Forbes and the WSJ warn of electricity shortages in Cal. & NY and other states where Climate Cranks hold away and have shut down legacy power generating plants under the behest of Sec. of Energy Granholm, who’s portfolio seems to be reduce the energy supply, not increase it.
Electricity shortages? Not shocking to say the least.

it’s under 20%.

Social credit in Vienna …
https://innovationinpolitics.eu/showroom/project/culture-token/
App tracks your car-free journeys and rewards you with concert tickets.
That’s the carrot. We’ll talk about the stick another time.
Coming to Germany and somewhere else I’ve forgotten too.
What annoys me about this social credit scheme is that “rewarding” people for activities that they were planning to do anyhow or that any thinking person would have been doing anyhow infantalizes them and trivializes the reasons for, say, reducing one’s carbon footprint and not trashing the earth.
The assumption behind “social credit” for just normal responsible adult behaviors ends up in “rewarding” people not to do their own thinking but instead to let others do t heir thinking for them.
It is a bit like announcing that patrons are “free” to wear a mask indoors if they feel like it. Well, of course anyone is free to wear a mask if they feel like it—don’t need to be “allowed” to do it by some self-appointed “adult.”
This is quite apart from the stupidity of wearing a mask. That is a different topic.
All of these entanglements—rewards for things you would do anyhow; fake “permissions” granted for activities that do not require any permission of “nudging”— are meant to turn the normal adult brain to mush and drive the sane insane.
The only way to resist this is and retain sanity in this growing dystopia: (1) throw away “smart” phone so you are not enmeshed in “apps” and (2) totally ignore as much of the crazy nonsense as you can . . . . Don’t watch TV!! Read the classics instead, in old library editions, if you can find them.
I totally agree, islander, but the carrot is only half the story. They’re going to resurrect the covid pass in England (and presumably the other parts of the UK will follow) and it will be the new gateway to the NHS. Not that this has been mentioned to the public, of course, but frankly I now think most of them would just blindly go along with it anyway and consider it convenient.
No jab, no healthcare, presumably. Then it will combine with other digital ID and be the gateway to everything, including access to your own assets. No jab, no dinner.
jab = death.
go underground for care.
Even ‘underground’ will require currency. 🙂
Yes, Alba, but that currency won’t be trackable or cancellable. It’ll be like, hmmm, what is that called? Oh yeah, the things we already have that work wonderfully – cash and barter.
Yet so many appear happy to give that time-tested common sense medium up in the name of “being part of progress”.
Why do so many not udnerstand that “change for the sake of change” is not the same as progress?
I agree, Mr M. I keep a chunk of cash in the house that would make a casual burglar smile unexpectedly (although most of it’s still electronic and in places, where it will be ‘cancelled’ at some point). And I use cash deliberately everywhere that I can (not just on Fridays, Catherine Austin Fitts!), apart from online purchases.
Once they cancel cash, though, I have nothing other than the contents of my house, and none of it would be very prized when food runs short. Also, when the SHTF, somebody will just come in, knock me on the head and take what they want. 🙂
Mr. Mango, that is what the Luddites had correct during the last Industrial Revolution.
Many incorrectly believe that they were anti-technology.
No, they were against the misuse of it.
The only answer is cash/currency.
What we have in hand now.
Again, for those paying attention, do you not think the erosion of cash and push into digitals is not by scheme?
By design?
You reading the idiotic zero-hedge blog entries? Banks hate crypto?
Is that right.
Do you notice that cash and the anonymity of hard currency transfer is being disappeared.
Now they know you won’t go into digital wallets willingly.
Sure, you’ll do apple-pay and paypal and other US dollar transactions, but you won’t trust a push into a “digital” wallet.
Knowing this, they lend cypto coin a backstory.
A roguish one.
As they cancel cash.
Pay attention, and pay with hard currency
I work on a weekly English-language news journal in Jakarta. Quite a while back I began to notice a degradation in ATM access – machines out of order, kiosks where there were three machines now with one only.
Did some peeking onto the web and it seems indeed to be a nice slow plot to force everyone – even semi-literate granny living in the hills with no cell phone – into so-called “electronic banking”.
One flung sunsnot, an updated Carrington event, and you can guess where that will leave us. But they simply do not care.
“Convenience” “banking for the unbanked” – sounds sweet enough, as long as you trust TPTB.

No, I would have you say ” “what they cared about in college was football.”

Don’t like what he posts simply scroll on by.
Amen.
That sounds like they’re “in” or attending college. My phrasing is better.
I was thinking about the characters Beavis and Butthead and wondered what age their creator conceived them to be at the time of their creation in 1992. The answer was 15. I learned that a show is planned to show them as middle aged.
Google Beavis and Butthead at age 45. Check out their new cartoon images. Pretty funny.
Derided as crude, for both humor and artwork, B&B served as another accurate premonition by Mr. Judge.
B&B literally cast its own viewers as protagonists: dimwits giggling at their own reactions (as dimwits) “huh-huh she said ‘foreskin’ huh-huh”.

Where the seemingly average person, with just a skosh of intellect, is elevated to the role of the observer among simpletons.

Yeah, was gonna edit it, but I didn’t care enough.

Water always find a way.
Water is an alien invader;
humans, the ultimate bio weapon developed by Earth to derail Water’s plans.
Tarnished and polluted, Water will depart.
Weapons, once again, become a thing of the past.
(“me-me-me-me-me!” Yeah, get over it.)
(outgrowing “good & evil”)
The difference between political “left & right”:
– The right’s major aim: to find the right’s virtues (the right has poor self-consciousness.)
– The left’s major aim: to ignore the left’s flaws (the left has no self-consciousness.)
Political “left & right” are so intertwined that its constituents prefer to choke each other and to shoot themselves in the foot continuously rather than grow out of it, because that would mean the end of both.
God bestowed the universe with Positive & Negative (Yang & Yin, if you’re itchy). “Good & Evil”* – our very human, very flawed take on Positive & Negative – will always be around. This doesn’t mean one can’t stand aloof from it.
When you’re part of a group, one essential affair of yours is either to determine, or abide to, the decisions impacting over the well being of the group.
By tacitly or explicitly allowing for the existence of rulers, the ruled – some consciously, the large majority without acknowledging it – admit their innate ineptitude to rule over the whole of their essential affairs. If they can’t rule over their essential affairs adequately, how are they able to competently discern the quality of the rulers?
This is what makes democracy so utterly ineffective.
For God’s sake, don’t start the teeth gnashing: democracy is not a guarantor of prosperity, capitalism is, and in case you forgot it, companies – specially the successful ones – are mainly autocracies and oligarchies, not democracies..
Is this a defense of capitalism?
Capitalism is despicable: it turns human beings into cost/benefit units. A sane human being can’t be pro-capitalism any more than he can be pro-democracy or pro-communism.
No, this is a pre-manifesto towards Perennial Theocracy**.
* And all its derivatives, including political “left & right”.
** Something akin to the Dalai Lama selection, structured by a western approach/frame of mind (tilted towards rationality, without discarding intuition.)
Capitalism is despicable?
Compared to what?
How many nations that follow the socialistic bent need to fail?
Capitalism provides something that none of the alternatives do,
Incentive. That’s is why the others fail.
This reminds of the 2020 election. Capitalism is despicable, okay, let’s have an alternative that is better. Just voting against something by voting for the obnoxious opposite is what has given us Biden’s Mob.
There has to be more to life than just grabbing as much as possible, John. A society can’t be solely based on competition. And it won’t stay pure if winning is the only thing. People will cheat since there is no honor in such a system to begin with.
@ Jarek:
“Competition” isn’t in the dictionary definition–that being that capitalism is a system in which the means of production are privately owned (as opposed to being owned by the government).
Can there be more than one type of capitalism, depending on WHO owns the means of production? E.g., is access to ownership of the means of production accessible to everyone, or is it limited to a few monopolists? Is it still capitalism?
If it is not accessible to everyone, then this can only be through government intervention. Hence the monopolist owners would indistinguishable from government itself; they would essentially be the nobility. They would be nobility in the same sense that the nobles of old were granted lands and titles by the king. Hence, this type of organization is not properly capitalism; it is government ownership of the means of production–the opposite of capitalism.
In an economy in which everyone has access to ownership of the means of production, this would mean that, yes, a private individual could own a farm or factory or shop. They could own the equipment and supplies needed for producing their product. This is capitalism, per the dictionary.
I would assume you have no beef with that–and thus have no beef with capitalism as defined by the dictionary.
Perhaps you should choose a word whose meaning conforms to the idea you are trying to express.
Discussing this with you is like having you tell me that you don’t like broccoli, but when you say broccoli, you really mean grass clippings.
@JohnAZ
What brought us here?
Whatever capitalism provides (optimized assembly lines, continuously spewing out from chewing gums to hard drugs, from religious literature to porn), it also failed. Even “Joe Biden” is a product of capitalism.
Whether you like it or not, capitalism is not mankind’s be-all and end-all. If in the aftermath of our predicament humans are still around, I doubt that looking at the ruins they will consider giving capitalism another go.
I’ll take a nationally based free market economy with acknowledgment of the right of honorable compensation for Labor with a decent pension system thrown in. Capitalism to my eyes denotes a near predatory overhanging financial system that is prone to periodic crisis and other depredations. Financial markets should be legal because they are within reason, necessary. I think international finance capital is one of the main drivers of the think tanks pushing our warmongering political actors and open Borders. Not too complicated. The working classes should be easy to win over, but alas.
@ a kullervo:
What you are describing is not “capitalism,” per the dictionary definition, either(that is, neither you nor Jarek). The dictionary definition of capitalism doesn’t include factory production using assembly lines. It is merely the private ownership of the means of production, as opposed to government ownership of the means of production; meaning that the people own the means of production, rather than politicians, government elites, or an aristocratic class.
I think the word you are looking for is “economism,” which is a term in Marxist discourse, meaning, “belief in the primacy of economic causes or factors.”
What you are calling “capitalism” is “economism” as definted by Nock:
“Albert Jay Nock used the term more broadly, denoting a moral and social philosophy ‘which interprets the whole sum of human life in terms of the production, acquisition, and distribution of wealth,’ adding: ‘I have sometimes thought that here may be the rock on which Western civilization will finally shatter itself. Economism can build a society which is rich, prosperous, powerful, even one which has a reasonably wide diffusion of material well-being. It can not build one which is lovely, one which has savor and depth, and which exercises the irresistible power of attraction that loveliness wields. Perhaps by the time economism has run its course the society it has built may be tired of itself, bored of its own hideousness, and may despairingly consent to annihilation, aware that it is too ugly to be let live any longer.'”
Nice try. But if the means are available (technology), that’s just what this class of people will do. That’s how Capitalism develops. As Krishna says, The Four Castes are not some arbitrary designation. They are made by Me.
And the Vaisyas see life in terms of making as much money as possible. If they are to be reigned it, it is only by the two higher castes who see life differently.
Beautiful passage by Nock. Indeed they are economismists, both the Caps and the Comms.
@ Jarek:
I suspect the “annihilation” part of the Nock quote may be prophetic.
I was thinking a little more about the Nock quote on economism, and it dawned on me that there is much more to it than meets the eye.
I think this passage comes from “Memoirs of a Superflouous Man,” where he talks about living in some small European country (maybe Belgium of the 1920s), where every little town had a musical society and a theatrical society, and where the food was good. In other words, there was a highly developed cultural life and a high-quality material life–despite “a slender economic basis.”
Contrast this to the US, where there is an overwhelming abundance of “music,” “literature,” and “food”–and even “art,” if you count graffiti–but pretty much all of it is mental, emotional, and literally physical poison. We have “entertainment” out the wazoo.
So plenty of everything.
There is also plenty of sex, which has likewise taken the form of poison.
And where is the high-quality person? How many people do we know who aspire to be good people? Or who can even conceptualize such a thing? If you know anyone at all who is like that, you are probably one of the five or six happiest and most blessed people in North America.
The Ministry of Truth in The Homeland Security jeckboot agency is the ultimate of 1984 puckery.
That just doesn’t make sense.
In what way?
It is literally the exact same concept.
Again, don’t you get tired of going against your own eyes and ears?
Many things are a mystery to you when you’re stupid, so Redneck Liberal’s mystification is no surprise.
I’ve been wondering if the midterm elections would even happen for a while too. It’s still almost 7 mos away which is essentially an eternity. And with so many fires underway it seems like anything could be cover for some sort of an emergency declaration or some such to cancel the elections. Maybe like when the US finally hands over its sovereignty to the UN at the end of May. Who really knows. I do see that a lot of people are anxious these days but I sorta feel like at the same time that these crises moments are so full of opportunties that we should try not to get down. Easier said than done I know lol but it’s still true. And much of the chaos is actually engineered. So naturally if the agents of chaos are neutralized presto blamo things get better. Waiting for the Fixer is an indescribable anguish. But banishment into the wilderness for a time it will be nonetheless.
Back to the ‘cancelled elections’ trope? (Yawn…) Yet another CFN prediction of what won’t actually happen. If I recall correctly, Joe Biden was going to be ‘managed’ out of office since early 2020, Harris would be sidelined and Hillary Clinton would be taking us into thermo-nuclear war by now. Do you guys never actually remember your fever-dreams?
Wasn’t that your team’s trope leading up to 2020 (except that it would be Trump canceling them)?
Nope.
Orange Hitler was going to do all kinds of things.
Some of your best work was during that time, Rednut.
Nope.
Ah. “Nope.” I guess that about wraps my argument up. Touche…I guess?
When in doubt, ignore what you said two years ago and pretend you didn’t. A winning strategy!
http://www.newenglandoil.com \
@Redneck: Is this a trope?
‘ we should not let it get us down’
Too late. The CTNJ Rabbit Hole is a dark and all consuming place, rife with negativity and false hopes. The inevitable result is delusional thinking. Give yourself a break – go out into the actual world and try a different (a realistic) lens.
Says one of the worst offenders of delusional group think to post on this board.
I just come here for the shitz’n’giggles.
What would this town be without its idiot?
Village idiots everywhere are offended!
And yet you’re attracted to it exactly like a moth to a candle flame. It seems like you have an extreme deficit in the self reflection department. But anyone can overcome budget woes. One step at a time. The darkness, negativity, and false hopes are within you and emanate from you and you even see these things in others. It’s the first step of healing
That’s the funny part. The detractors who come on hear and kvetch about s kvetching instead of just going somewhere else in the first place. Hey, it’s a big internet out there and there’s no shortage of mainstream sites selling hopium by the truckload. Oh well, it takes all types I guess.
Exactly thank you! And too, it’s like if this is such a downer place to be and you are pointing that out then why are you here? Truly RL knows he won’t change minds. So something else is clearly going on. I personally think it is a cry for help
And yet here you are.
Here’s Palast again on 2000 mules:
https://www.gregpalast.com/2000-mules-belly-laughs-belly-aches-from-dsouzas-proof-that-trump-won/
I’m posting this again because of Sidney Powell saying that Trump won the election in a land slide and that she was going to prove it. The proof was in the Kraken and she was going to release it. I really thought for awhile that she had definitive proof, but the only proof she came up with was that her ass had turned into a billowing smokestack.
If Dinesh et al have all this evidence, release it with plain and simple explanation and specific, clear details. This sly, sharpshooting fucker is a convicted felon. I’ve been fooled once by Powell and I’m not about to be fooled again by this brown bounder.
Felon big deal most of the people holding office have committed felonies that actually have hurt other people.
The guy sitting in the whitehouse in dirty diapers is obviously a felon, but no one will step up and charge him.
“Meet the New Boss, same as the Old Boss”, huh?
With the exception of Obama I would take any other president that has been in the Whitehouse over this demented old fool.
I forgot to add in my lifetime.
Even Jimmy Carter who up till Obama and Biden was the worst President in recorded history.
Yeah, it’s way past time to give up on 2020, no matter how you come down on it. BOTH parties wanted Trump gone and they by god got it done. It’s the damn alternative we got in the process that’s a bitch, but if wasn’t Biden, it would have been someone equally as reprehensible. What are ya gonna do?
Get down to basics here.
How many computer systems need to be hacked before we do not allow them anywhere near elections?
All the folks that complain about the performance of the USPS should insist they are not involved. It is too easy to stuff ballot boxes. It is really too easy to run ballots more than once through the counters, in large quantities, when no one is looking. Why else make such a stink about election monitors?
The main elements of the vote are so easy to manipulate now. The only real “honest” method of counting votes is one voter, one vote on paper as any thing involving machine counting or especially computer system counting is too easy to manipulate,
By both sides.
As it is right now, each election, being so near 50-50 percent, will lose credibility with the public.
Which is exactly what the Uniparty in DC wants.
Still burning a candle for the Democrat Party? That’s sad and weird.
If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there, did it really fall? If a criminal gets away with a crime, is he then innocent? If the election was stolen, and the Supreme Court refuses to look, what does that tell you?
It tells me that they don’t want to know because then they’d be liable too when they approved it anyway, despite the mountains of evidence.
Good point, Jarek.
If the stolen election was proven, how many folks in high places would be prosecuted? On all sides!
They are all members of the Deep State, the group responsible for protection of our federal government and the progression of the NWO.
Trust in government is an oxymoron.
TS…are you saying Palast is a convicted felon? I can’t find any such reference. Please enlighten.
Clearly referring to Dinesh as a convicted felon.
Details were never his strong suit.
OK, so, with all the crazy things going on in the world, I thought I’d update on what’s going on with my hip: In short, I don’t have it; at least the one I was born with. I got operated on yesterday and received a new one. I’m actually writing this from my hospital bed. I feel good because I’m on pain killing drugs. They’ve been killing my stomach and I feel nauseous, but otherwise I’m ok and clear-headed.
Here’s something to ponder about our wonderful medical system: I’m on Medicare and learned that under new guidelines, it now considers hip replacement surgery to be out-patient. I get 24 hours, then released, provided I can climb stairs. I should be back home later today. I’m happy about that because who wants to stay in a hospital? But this gets me nervous. You know how the government operates (pun intended). I can see the near future when the economy collapses. Brain surgery will be out-patient, and so forth (und so weiter from my German classes). The government is a pisser. Medicare patients who think they got it made will get a shock. Typical.
Anyway, I need a walker for 2 weeks, then a cane, if necessary for awhile. Then I’m good to go. They say when the pain-killing meds wear off, I’ll be in pain, but I’ll deal with it. Gotta have a good attitude. And thanks to everyone for their good wishes.
Beware: beyond killing your stomach, pain-killers tend to turn whatever is in your lower intestines into quick-setting cement.
Explains why opioid addicts look and act like they’re full of shit.
As soon as you start overhearing the doctors consulting patients with real problems (cancer, etc.) in the post-op sally-port you’ll be asking them to wheel you out the front door ASAP. For me, the hospital environs are worse than any procedure.
get well.
Drink lots of coffee and water.
Thank you. I know about this stuff so I’m trying to tough it out with no pain pills – as long as I can. I also have probiotics.
100th Avatar[baby]: Thanks for the heads-up about painkillers. My new $3000. hip implant is causing me discomfort ( replacement op just 2 weeks ago) but no real pain, fortunately. I have been prescribed Myonal, among other pills, but being naturally wary I’ve looked them up and yes, there are side-effects. I’ll just take the discomfort, thanks.
Considering that my daddy died of diverticulitis I am being super-cautious about intestinal effects. So your warning hit home.
2 extra strength acetaminophen (tylenol) and you’re good.. but check with Dr. of course.
Good luck Bill, Opioids are a bitch on the stomach. They gave them to me when I cut my finger off and they made me really nauseous and itchy as a bastard. Couldn’t stand them. I did better with OTC stuff. Finger was reattached but it’s numb.
RT, I can donate my old hip for your finger. It’s a lot bigger than what you had even of a lot of the bone has been ground down. I can see why people get hooked on opioids because it sure makes the pain go away, physically and emotionally. I’ve been nauseous since the surgery, but I feel it’s better to go through that than getting addicted.
I have read Kratom is good for pain relief.
California poppy tincture has some pain relief properties without the addiction and stool impaction problems as well as wild lettuce.
Interesting. I have California poppy seeds that I’ll soon be planting. I’ve already sown opium poppy seeds and plan to try a couple of methods for tincturing the pods/latex.
I’ve never tried Kratom, though I have tried CBD oil (for arthritis). CBD oil does very little for me. Borage oil helps just as much. I have also tried Kanna (Skeletium tortuosum), which didn’t do anything, either–though I have so far been very cautious about the dose. Maybe I should try taking more.
@anthea
Be VERY careful when dealing with the actual opium poppy pods people overdose on them and as an aside it might be a source of trouble in these United states.
Wild lettuce also has some of the same alkaloid compounds without the troubling over dose problems and addiction.
https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/wild-lettuce#other-benefits
Good luck with the hip, and going home.
Seems like home might be a safer place to recover. Plenty of vitamin C and other healing supplements on hand (zinc) and good food such as bone broth. The latter good also on stomach.
Strongest OTC painkiller I know of is Percogesic Extra Strength. You can order it from Amazon and elsewhere:
https://www.amazon.com/Percogesic-Strength-Relief-Aspirin-Caplets/dp/B000P9ENH2?th=1
It is acetomenophin boosted with an antihistimine. Really works well. Also makes you sleepy. Don’t combine with alcohol.
Islander,
Thanks for replying. The doctor said not to take my omega 3 supplements for awhile and not take herbs, particularly turmeric. Just have to wait until I’m completely healed. Vitamins and minerals are ok. I can’t wait to take my vitamin D3 pills, and zinc too. Acetomenophin gets me nauseous and can destroy either my liver or kidneys, I don’t remember which. Won’t have bone broth because I don’t eat meat, but I do take calcium chloride supplements.
New England Baptist Hospital specializes in joint surgery and has a reputation as one of the finest in the country. The only complaint I have with them is that they’re located in Roxbury, on Parker Hill Avenue, and I live on the South Shore. When I had to have my pre-op appointment last week, it took me over 2 hours to drive home. Traffic was beyond nasty.
Hope you have a quick recovery, BTB. My husband gets bad back pain from time to time (and broke his neck decades ago in a car accident). He swears by Voltarol suppositories for every kind of pain. And they avoid damage to your stomach. Even so, you can’t take them too regularly for too long (ain’t no such thing as a free lunch an’ all that). The French are very partial to suppositories – Brits not so much!
Probably called something else over your way anyway, but you can see the active ingredients here:
https://www.medicines.org.uk/emc/medicine/1344
So far so good Boston Billy. I’d go as low as you can go on the pain killers until the pain begins coming on just to get a feel for it, then ramp back up only as much as needed.
The damn Medical Insurance Complex is like running a gauntlet, ain’t it? Purposely. They want to make you “EARN it” (in best John Houseman voice) and all that. Hey, all those administrators and Corporate Execs gotta get paid, ya know!
I’m getting my eye lids clipped on Friday, Cerro Pelado Fire permitting. Might have to cancel if they decide to evacuate the dump, but conditions are looking much better this morning. Mine’s all cash and carry, though. Six grand all in and I get to look like a losing prize fighter for a few weeks. Looking forward to it.
Give it six weeks for you, then time to strap on the running shoes again and start training. Boston Marathon ’23 will be coming right back around again before you now it.
I never heard of that? Is it some kind of new aesthetic? Or can they over grow the eye, like the teeth of rodents that never stop growing?
Surely it’s something you can learn to do at home by yourself.
Yep, used to just be called an eye lift. I’ve got 2 1/2 inches of eyelid to cover a 1/2 inch opening. Folds on folds on folds. Itches like hell all the time and looks like shit. Mother has it and her mother had it. Finally decided to bite the bullet and do something about it. At $6K it ain’t cheap, but I guess its all relative these days.
Is it considered medical or cosmetic?
Cosmetic. Got to be more advanced to be medical. They cut right below the brow, then cut some out and stitch it back up again. They had quite a few before/after pics posted and they all turned out pretty good. Of course they’d never show the bad ones, but even so. Tired of it as is.
Here’s a picture of what my mom looks like now, and what I’d look like in another 15-20 years (third set of before/afters down). This is obviously a very much older woman, so I don’t look nearly this bad with the wrinkled skin and all that, but I’ve already got the extreme folds that you see on her here. Kinda looks like a foreskin, doesn’t it? A freaking botched circumcision – LOL! In the mornings especially, it looks absolutely hideous. This is the only picture I’ve found on the internet that looks as bad as mine.
https://www.drvincentlee.com.au/oculoplastic-surgery-diseases-tear-ducts-eyelids.html
Thanks for indulging me. As the sage said, Let nothing human be alien to you.
Good luck with it.
Baggy eyelids can be helped to some extent just by moisturizing. (Mine will sag and bag if I don’t moisturize.)
A good moisturizing cream (oil-in-water emulsion) would help, but your best bet is hyaluronic acid serum. It is fairly inexpensive.
Retinol serum is good for age spots, wrinkles, and scars.
If you use skin care products consistently, you’ll look years younger.
Another ingredient that is good for saggy skin and wrinkles is silk amino acids or silk peptides. You can make a really good product by mixing liquid silk amino acids with floral waters at a rate of 2-3%. Panthenol (at 1%-5%) would be a nice addition. If you wanted to go all-out, you could include one or two liquid botanical extracts. (Suppliers tell you the suggested usage rate and what they are for.) Put this stuff in a spray bottle and spray in on your face (and body, if you want). It’s good to use under the HA or Retinol or under makeup.
I consider this sort of thing fun and interesting.
Good suppliers of ingredients are Brambleberry and New Directions Aromatics.
IMO these types of corrective procedures are a good investment.
Isn’t that why we are lucky to live in the (still more or less) first world?
You only live once.
” Boston Marathon ’23 will be coming right back around again before you know it.”

LOL! Dark humor at its best.
Benr:
Yeah, I’ll be drinking lots of water. Some coffee, too.
@Dis,
Thanks for the post. I’ve already been declared the honorable winner of the ‘23 Marathon.
If you do the eyelid clipping, you will be chased after by many beautiful women, so many that you have to have your heart checked out beforehand, you lucky bastard.
LOL! No Bill, I think I’d need a whole face transplant for that.
And by the way, honorary titles are the best, especially when it comes to marathoning. They’re a lot of work!
Also, I have noticed it’s a helluva lot more fun to flirt with the young beauties now. They don’t take it so seriously when you’re an old geezer, so they give you a lot of leeway and even play along, for the most part.
Hope you get to feeling better soon Bill!
Thank you, SSL, I will.
Get out of the hospital and get yourself home safe soon, bill! Good luck, I’d imagine the recovery will take a bit of time and patience.
Dedication to PT makes the difference. Ligaments, tendons and muscles are all inflamed now and are making the decisions whether to form adhesions and contractures. PT hurts but it is the tearing of adhesions that cause the pain. But adhesions are bad bad if allowed to become permanent, ie limited mobility.
Good fortune to you, get well soon.
Oh yeah, eat something when getting pain meds. Are they giving you stool softeners? Opioids turn off the motility of your gut.
Jaz,
I’ve been taking stool softeners. I will be getting a PT at home for 2 weeks. My health club has a physical therapy office right in the gym and I will go for at least a month. Thanks.
“physical therapy”
I hear Foxwoods has Holdem tables that will massage your hips…Or at least your wallet.
Did mine when I was there.
Stay healthy, Bill.
Good to hear that you’re doing okay Bill. Mine was two and a half months ago. Trust me it gets better. Personally I find Celebrex to work much better than opioids. It is really difficult to believe this surgery can be done as out patient. Fight the good fight and listen to your body. I can just now come up and down stairs regularly without holding to a rail and hubby and I are ambitiously leaving on a moderate hiking trip to the Black Hills in a couple of days.
My best suggestion to you would be wait a month to begin any strenuous physical therapy. The early days are for mild exercises and stretching. It’s hard to realize it now but after two months things come together rather quickly. The body is an amazing thing. Best of luck!
I’ll tell you, farmgal, it better get better. I have no plans to take opioids. That’s great, you taking a hiking trip to the Black Hills. I visited there in 1971. Awesome!
The medical staff in New England Baptist is excellent, and I expect to follow their recovery plan. I always listen to my body (but in certain respects, that has gotten me into lots of trouble. LOL). Thanks for the comments.
Congrats Bill! You got thru it! Thanks for checking in.
Marlin, I think my mind has gotten through it, but I’m not sure about my body. Stay well, please!
For the pain, get yourself some CBD oil. The underground stuff is better and cheaper than the pharma-grade stuff from the druggist, and usually has a smidgen of THC in it, which makes it a more pleasant experience, with anxiety (if that’s an issue for you) also treated. Win-win-win, I reckon. Massachusetts allows edibles too, I understand, so just get grooving, Bill.
This explains your cognitive issues.
I knew that was coming.
I suspected he drinks the bong water.
Not a smoker, never have been.
But you don’t deny drinking the bong water!
Nothing explains your fucked-up view of everything.
REALITY
RL,
Thanks for the advice, but I gave up on anything that has THC in it a long time ago because it makes me paranoid. Alice B. Toklas hates me.
BTB, mild edible (such as make-your-own chocolate from the ‘shake’, not heads) gives one a long slow steady euphoria rather than a huge hit & paranoid reaction.
Drink as much water as you can handle, for sure. Glad you came out of it OK. Get well soon! I’m sure you will, as you have a stellar attitude about it.
@ MQ:
Thanks for the comment. I am doing well – so far. My attitude is based on the fact that since having this surgery was unavoidable, I decided to make the best of it and get well ASAP.
My only concern is that the forthcoming collapse hold off until the fall, when I am back to normal. Otherwise, if things get bad in the summer, I’ll be at a disadvantage.
A lot of talk about what our “scarce” future entails.
Yet I cannot help but notice that most people forgot about the spike in, well, let’s call it “availability”.
The line is not exact, but let’s say post WW2 and on Americans and westerners (or western leaning: Japan, Korea) in general, enjoyed a spike in availability.
What is availability? The ability to experience a quality of life unmatched in human history. But here is the caveat: for the average man.
From home ownership to healthcare to personal conveyances to diet, travel, leisure, life expectancy, education and on and on.
Never before for Joe Blow.
Now, that was quite an accomplishment for western civ. Elevating the prole into lifestyles once reserved for aristocrats and monied elites. Quite an accomplishment for whatever you call the “capitalist” structure employed.
It only got better. Occidental man could have literally anything he desired dropped at the doorstep of his very own 5k sqft McMansion in a few days. Anything.
Not only that, he or she could jet off to anywhere on the planet and back for under $1k. They could be anywhere in the world measured more in hours than days.
Well, how long did y’all think this small miracle was going to last?
Sushi in supermarkets in every strip-mall from Omaha to Biloxi.
Don’t get me wrong. It was great while it lasted. I really enjoyed flying to London and back to SoCal for around $600. For being able to get a nice Sardinian Vermentino dropped at my door just in time for a garden party.
Well, everyone wants that life. They’re not being greedy. They don’t all expect lots and $20 million California hillside mansions. But they do want a home, to travel, good food, secondary education, a car.
But it’s too late for that, for them, and it just can’t happen.
It’s also too late for us. Those who enjoyed that spell.
The spike has eroded and is now regressing to the mean.
So much talk of living with less when so many forgot how they were living with so much more.
and now, no more
Yes, that’s the right term: Regressing to the mean.
Well said.
Dan Patrick broadcasting today from home after he came down with “the Covid.” Hmm… symptoms (tired and exhausted over the weekend) sound suspiciously like a cold or a VERY mild case of flu (hell, a moderate hangover, if we’re telling the truth). I think “the Covid,” always a myth, has now morphed into a genuine status symbol and sympathy getter. What a fucking scam!
In terms of generating instant publicity, it’s the new sex tape.
Do not forget allergies too, Dis. Just went through two weeks of miserable post nasal drip with consequent cough, all because of Palos Verde pollen.
With the increase of pollen counts, the screwing with immune systems going on, the amount of particulate in the air,
Is it any wonder more and more respiratory problems are emerging?
Or smoke. We’re getting two packs a day up here easily right now. Wind is down today, thank goodness, but that also allows the smoke to settle in the low spots. Cerro Pelado is our little claim to fame this time. Luckily, mostly a dry brush fire through an old burn scar, and not a big barnburner through the big pines. Spring is generally a tough season up here no matter what, though; whether it’s dust, pollen, or smoke. We get the trifecta in that regard. CPAP with humidifier works wonders at night though. Followed up in the morning with the trusty nasal power wash.
https://nmfireinfo.com/2022/05/09/cerro-pelado-fire-update-monday-may-9-2022/
I have been following your fires. The winds are kicking your butts. Hope all is well with you.
Used to live in south end of Denver and have been through the smoke plumes of wildfires up there. Actually had live embers hit the front yard. No fun.
The fire down by Las Vegas is a monster.
Yes. That’s the big one. Big pines make big fires, and they haven’t had one over that-a-way in a while. Lots of good fuel.
Dis,
The rain I mentioned in Coos County? At least 5 inches of rain fell (at a minimum. and reported to be the latest “winter storm” to ever have occurred in Oregon.
Global warming, dotcha know….and further rain projected thru the week.
Right on the coast, ain’t it?
Dis, 20 miles inland…directly east of Bandon.

Just 44 rats.”

LOL.
Shocker!
Ten bucks the data from the rats/mice was fabricated, too.
Wow. That’s a meme that should be on billboards and t shirts.

Listen to Naomi go on and on about the babies. No doubt she’s fine when women have their babies torn limb from limb inside the womb though. Double standard? But it’s fine if that’s what sweetie wants to do. Sweetie determines life and death, who is human and who is not.
It’s Demonic.
It really is a massive tragedy:
https://colleenhuber.substack.com/p/10-to1-pregnancy-failure-to-success
Latest from CJ Hopkins:
He also points out how ol’ Billy G is now saying what some of us said years ago: that Covid is the flu, and is mildly dangerous for the elderly.
“For example, you might have seen this video of Bill Gates reciting some of the basic facts that we “Science-denying conspiracy theorists” have been censored, deplatformed, demonetized, demonized, and otherwise relentlessly persecuted for reporting for the past two years, as if these facts had just been discovered. In terms of gaslighting, it doesn’t get much better.”
https://cjhopkins.substack.com/p/the-rise-of-the-new-normal-reich?s=r
Of course, the greater truth is that it has never even been shown to exist at this point. But hard evidence for the manipulation of flu stats is everywhere.
Regardless, even Billy G’s own admission will not be absorbed by the members of the cult. It is sad, but also really, really fucking funny.
And now they are walking around with DARPA juice in their veins. All for nothing.
The Covid virus may not be an influenza virus. It may be a coronavirus. Some colds are coronavirus caused. So is Covid just a bad cold or even a light cold for most.
Interesting item being knocked about. Someone noticed a big part of the population did not get Covid. They want to explore for genetic differences causing the difference. Please throw in the investigation of long term Covid folks. What is the difference? Could it be that genetics might affect immune response?
Ya think?
Thanks, Night Owl. I just ordered two copies of his book. I don’t know who I’ll give the other one to – I have several covidians to choose from.
I will be, too.
They are already trying to make us forget stuff like this:

There are no words. 🙂
As always, CJ is right on the money.
Billy G & Co. walking it back lets me know it’s probably even a bigger tragedy than we are seeing – which is already the most epic attack on the human species in history.

Interesting that these Lefty POC leaders do not have any feeling of the sanctity of life.
Could this explain the problems of the Black community? Respect for Life is not so important?
Blacks have certainly been a target of Planned Parenthood.
Yet they will assault anyone who does not regurgitate black lives matter at a moments notice.

Absolutely no idea what he is talking about, just contrarian rhetoric with high levels of emotion with no solutions within a mile.
Just like the rest of his Liberal brothers and sisters.
Remember that the measure of a group is its goals. Look at the gang he represents.
Uniparty authoritarian control. Everything they are trying to do while controlling the government is aimed at this goal.
A vote for every voter. Ha, full institution of methods of vote manipulation is the goal with eventual elimination of the vote.
Everything is pointed at environmental manipulation without understanding what they are doing. They are actively maneuvering climate change changes. Elimination of fossil fuels is the goal with absolutely no method available to replace their energy.
Even Klaus Schwab, who is at least honest, states that the Great Reset is the goal of the Left. The reset is everything anti-America and ironically anti-Russian. Our Blue friend is an obvious follower of the global aims.
I wonder, does our Blue friend feel that he needs the government to tell him what to do with his life? Does he really want the cradle to grave domination by a government that Sweden, for example, has? Maybe so, for he has lots of company.
“The Joe Biden” is talking on the TV. The guy mumbles to no end. He can’t even read a teleprompter. My 6 year old granddaughter can do better. It is so embarrassing. I cry for my country.
Sorry to hear you are watching it. I will hold off until I see the blooper reel.
Are you similarly embarrassed when “The Donald” blithers on endlessly and incoherently about water pressure and ‘what a great guy’ (insert nutjob GOP candidate’s name here) is?
…conditions will be favorable for action in the streets…

Fun with Race. For a While, Anyway
America’s racial circumstances, its lightning demographic transformation unimaginable a half century ago, runs apace, not just with Latinos filtering across the southern border, but with the federal government inexplicably importing people from Somalia and Afghanistan and, apparently, trying to intensify racial division. It is an astonishment of a high order, the best show in town. How, why, and whither?
A surprising number of people seem unfamiliar with the figures. America is about thirteen percent black, eighteen percent Latino, and something like six percent Asian, whatever that means. Over half of children eighteen and under are not white. Thus in an uncertain but small number of years, America will mostly not be white. This, like sunrise, is going to happen no matter what anyone thinks about it. Wow.
The southern border is largely open. Immigrants pour across the frontier, chiefly Central American, badly educated or actually illiterate, sometimes speaking only Indian languages. Mr. Trump once said that “Mexico is not sending its best.” This is true of all Latin American countries. Cardiac surgeons and systems programmers do not swim the Rio Bravo to pick oranges in Florida. While the influx of Mexicans has decreased with the improvement in the Mexican economy, the Central Americans arrive in droves. Along with them come Haitians, various Africans, and Afghans, groups even less qualified to become American. This seems likely to continue, at least during the administration of Biden.
So how does the racial map look? Latinos concentrated in the Southwest, where they seem certain to become the majority. In California they now outnumber whites. New Mexico, aptly named, seems poised to follow. These states were wrested from Mexico in the Mexican-American War of 1846-1848, so in a sense they are just returning to their origins. Some call it poetic justice. Be that as it may, it is happening, and the concentration in a few states gives Latinos power that they would not have if spread evenly across the country.
Blacks, following a different pattern, dominate America’s cities. Typically the downtown contains a sprawling, impoverished black ghetto, crime-ridden, hopeless, and dangerous, semiliterate, and very angry. Residents have little or no contact with the surrounding country. They exercise control either by electing the city government or just by numbers and intimidation. Philadelphia, Newark, Camden, Trenton, Washington, Richmond, Baltimore, Detroit, St. Louis, Chicago, Milwaukee, New Orleans, Cincinnati, Birmingham, Jackson, and so on. For practical purposes, these cities are not under control of national or state government. Whites dare not walk in them. Black women, seemingly more able than the men to engage in organized effort, are now mayors in Washington, Baltimore, Chicago, St. Louis.
Blacks exercise power out of proportion to their numbers in the population. The reasons are several. Blacks bloc vote. Their percentage of the vote in presidential elections is greater than the margin of victory. In the cities their high rates of crime drive out whites. Governments at all levels are afraid of blacks, who if crossed will riot, loot, and burn. Any attempt to crack down on crime would result in explosion, and everyone knows it, so law does not extend to these regions. In aggregate, these enclaves constitute a sort of distributed country within a country.
Further, blacks now control American culture and politics. This is manifest in the overwhelming presence of blacks in television, popular music, in the toppling of statues and renaming of buildings, military bases, and so on, in the search for systemic racism, the lowering of standards in almost everything, and insistence on racial quotas on boards of corporate directors and high-tech industry.
East Asians and, increasingly, Indians dominate America’s high-tech world. They are less conspicuous than blacks and Latinos, but the country grows rapidly more dependent on them. They make up around seventy percent of the very high-end high schools—Thomas Jefferson in Virginia, Brooklyn, Stuyvesant, Bronx. The pattern holds in the elite tech universities: CalTech, MIT, Harvard. Not only the students but the professors are heavily Asian.
Interestingly, India supplies a growing part of America’s brains. One telling example is that Indians are CEOs of IBM, Google, Twitter, Microsoft, Adobe, and Mastercard, among others.
As US Schools Prioritize Diversity Over Merit, China Is Becoming the World’s STEM Leader
“First, and most obvious, is the deplorable state of our K-12 math education system. Far too few American public-school children are prepared for careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). This leaves us increasingly dependent on a constant inflow of foreign talent, especially from mainland China, Taiwan, South Korea, and India. In a 2015 survey conducted by the Council of Graduate Schools and the Graduate Record Examinations Board, about 55 percent of all participating graduate students in mathematics, computer sciences, and engineering at US schools were found to be foreign nationals.”
So: The Southwest to Latinos, the cities and culture to blacks, universities and laboratories to the Chinese, and a noticeable savor of curry in managerial ranks. This is America.
Whites? In decline, both proportionately in the population and in dwindling numbers in science and engineering. This is perhaps most conspicuous in the downgrading of mathematics in schools and universities as being racist.
There is among many whites opposition to what is sometimes called the browning of America. Various, often overlapping, groups with names like the Alt Right, White Nationalists, and Dissident Right. They express alarm over the colorizing of America. Contrary to assertions in the media, they are usually decent people, certainly not “terrorists, but they fight a battle already lost. Large numbers of whites not formally involved with these groups strongly oppose immigration. Often they are supporters of Trump. Conservative romantics, they accept American founding myths vaguely related to reality and remember the security, amiability, and unity of the former America (which existed: I was there.) They see the country they knew fading, the poor academic performance of blacks and Latinos, crime high and rising, and point to race riots as evidence of decline. Oldsters among them remember a time when you could leave your bicycle anywhere and it would still be there when you came back.
This White Revivalist movement seems dead on arrival. For one thing, the Dissident Righters are in the impossible position of being against all people except whites and, not infrequently, express themselves as favoring only North European whites. This reduces them to political hobbyists, unable to compromise. Further, Latinos are simply not behaving badly enough to support a white racial consciousness. If there were going to be serious conflict between Anglos and Hispanics, California would be the place. Nobody seems interested. Asians? Few whites will be upset over Chinese programmers or Vietnamese wide-area engineers. Finally, white advocates seem to have no practical program beyond closing the border. Their other ideas, such as ending birthright citizenship, would have little effect or, like fantasies of dividing America into three racially pure countries, are impossible. Likewise, laws reinstating racial segregation or forbidding intermarriage have exactly zero chance of coming about. Likewise mass deportations of people who increasingly are citizens. Remember, they vote. For better or worse, the country seems destined to muddle along with what it has.
Whites of European origin, though still a majority, fade in influence. Blacks and Hispanics now have enough votes that neither Republicans nor Democrats can afford to trifle with them. While whites, Asians, and Latinos get along reasonably well, blacks get along with nobody. The attacks on Asians we hear about are all by blacks, who do not like Latinos, and who engage in the Knockout Game against whites. Black crime drives whites and middle-class blacks from the cities. Because the media downplay or conceal problems with blacks, many are unaware of the gravity of circumstances, of the illiteracy and hopelessness and fury in the big ghettos. They exist. Nothing is being done about them and probably nothing can be done.
If there comes a racial explosion in the United States, it will be between black and white. At present the media keep the lid on by concealing violence, and this may be the wisest course, though it is hard to see how it is any more than kicking the can down the road. The following links make depressing reading. Whatever one may think of the author, he seems to have the facts.

Why is all of the foregoing not an accurate description of America today? Where leads the growing dependence on Asians for brainwork? The exodus of stores from cities because of crime? The very real enstupidation of the schools to hide the failings of minorities? The heavy-handed enforcement of centrally devised racial policies on people who don’t want them? Economic decline? You tell me.

Attn John Az: This is your Capitalism. The insatiable lust for cheap labor that brought this primitive race to our shores, blinded to all future consequence by the dreams of individual wealth. They then allied with other such sick individuals to keep them here when Lincoln wanted them sent back.
And your alternative is?
Wrong again, as is your habit, Janos.
Perhaps some other time we’ll unpack the irony where a continent hitherto inhabited by ‘primitive races’ not being the possessive pronoun holders, but…
Let’s look into who exactly brought “primitive races” to “our” shores.
Hmm, could it possibly be? White elites?
Jaw-dropping.
Shocking stuff, I tell ya…
Rather than uplift the fellow white indentured, shanghai’d, and impoverished colonists, they wanted free labor and all the wealth.
My, how times have not changed.
And those darn Spanish in the Antilles and the main kept interbreeding with the locals making the separation of man and chattel so over-complicated. That, and they kept killing them off from disease. How dare they!
Solution: black africans!
Well, who wants to labor on a plantation when they can avail themselves to leisure, intellectual pursuits, and wealth expansion?
Well, not white landowners.
They could have paid wages to whites or they could pay nothing to primitive races. Must have been a terribly difficult choice for these masters.
And they needed more wealth, and there were just not enough white colonists to provide the labor for the fortunes they desired to accrue.
So here we are left with white elite greed.
Again.
And did they let it go when their free-pass on exploitation expired?
Heavens no.
They needed to keep these primitive races poor, powerless, and without agency.
In other words: the perfect laborer.
And they continued this well into the 20th century.
Never caring about what this does to a man let alone a people.
The resentment, the retardation, the sub/anti-culture.
Nope.
They wanted no competition and cheap labor.
And now, the poor whites, of all people, are left wondering how the subculture of a “race” of people can be so broken, so malformed, so victimized, so vengeful?
Well, that explains why poor whites are still poor whites.
I am by no means some woke apologist, but it amazes me how imbeciles like you, people who peddle in veneration of ancestral white elite, are so damn dumb.
But then again, you spend the better part of your time race baiting on a blog.
My soft bigotry of high expectations. My bad bruh
Black people control politics? well they are 13% of our population.
Nope, their willingness to commit violence puts them on page one.

You can generally find an article by copying a few sentences of it and pasting it into DuckDuckGo. You might find the primary source, but you’ll often find multiple secondary sources.
My copy-paste of the first few sentences came up with this:
https://barelyablog.com/fred-reed-white-revivalist-movement-seems-dead-on-arrival/
I used this technique once when Cargill deviously posted the first few sentences of an abstract (without the link – already a red light) when the rest of it proved the exact opposite of the point he was dishonestly trying to make, about some covid vaxx study or other. Not that being caught out affected his output in the slightest, but it was satisfying.
Also, don’t emails from people you subscribe to generally come with a ‘load (remote content)’ button that takes you to the source?
Actually, that probably depends on your email, rather than the source you’re subscribing to!
Alba,
Thank you…I will try harder…and also the “duck” thing….
I think “Cargill” was around and long gone before you fell in the Rabbit Hole, GA, or was it one of the many later posters accused by the Narc Troll of the heinous crime of being “Cargill”?
There isn’t a sentence I could write that would indicate to you the depth of the metaphorical yawn generated by your ‘question’, Redneck.
I think you did a pretty good job of it, Alba.
“One of the many”
Yes, no one ’round here ever returns after the ban with a new handle, right Maj?
Skewered yet again.
It would be comical if it was not so dang easy.
“Philadelphia, Newark, Camden, Trenton, Washington, Richmond, Baltimore, Detroit, St. Louis, Chicago, Milwaukee, New Orleans, Cincinnati, Birmingham, Jackson, and so on…”
Well, no mention of Oakland?
Must be a goddamned garden spot…..
Actually, Oakland in the 60’s and later got its reputation as a trouble spot because it was simply ahead of the curve…an archtype if you will…THEN a unique city invested with a hotbed of issues, NOW just a run of the mill ghetto.
Many, many Oaklands now.
The whole country is Oakland.
We Stand With Oakland!
My new next-door neighbors are from Oakland.
Their home burned down, and so did their parents’.
They have PTSD from it and couldn’t wait to get out of there.
1970 Oakland was black and a slum.
Malthuss,
In 1970, it was black and THE slum.
So how does the racial map look? Latinos concentrated in the Southwest, where they seem certain to become the majority. In California they now outnumber whites. Some call it poetic justice. Be that as it may, it is happening, and the concentration in a few states gives Latinos power that they would not have if spread evenly across the country.
Fred’s right that they do tend to congregate, but that’s just as early ethnic whites did as well, since forsaking the family roots seems to be a uniquely American thing. Give them a few generations and they move, intermarry, and otherwise assimilate into our non-culture culture just like all the rest of us.
New Mexico is truly mostly Mexican as well, as opposed to other Latino nationalities. The family ties here are SUPER STRONG. And they’re not particularly fond of blacks either, especially the older generations. But most of the blacks that live here are either trying hard to or already have assimilated. Not many of the young gang banger types at all. The Mexican gangs would exterminate them in a heartbeat. There’s simply no cultural base here to support a lot of blacks.
Whenever I’ve become acquainted with Hispanics, I’ve been impressed by them. In many ways they are the natural allies of white conservatives: they’re religious, hard-working, and have strong family ties.
One of my old high-school friends who used to live in a sketchy neighborhood recently remarked that when the Mexicans moved in, the shabby housing stock was beautifully rehabbed, and wrought-iron fences sprang up everywhere.
One Mexican family I recently got to know was telling me about a troublesome new neighbor (an asshole, whom I was also slightly acquainted with).
I related their travails with another friend whose daughter was formerly married to a Mexican. Her take on the situations was, “You don’t mess with Mexicans. Even if they’re really nice…they have friends who aren’t.”
Wouldn’t hurt my feelings none (as folks around here put it), if something unfortunate happened to the asshole neighbor.
So…. While we know that there is a bad element among Mexicans, I sometimes think they might be the salvation of this country. They have some grit to them.
We’re becoming Mexico in many places. Mexicans create Mexico. Amazing! “New Mexico”. Hint: There aren’t enough good ones to make it anywhere near as good as the old America.
The Indian elements will be near the bottom, hating both Whites and the lighter, whiter Hispanics. Just like in Mexico now and much of the rest of Latin America and Brazil as well.
I have no idea how the Hispanic presence in the US will play out, of course. I am just inclined to have a positive view of a demographic that values family and does not consider children a misfortune.
At the farmers’ market, I notice that the husbands/fathers are proud of providing for their families. They want the wife and kids to have “nice things”–luxury items. The dads aren’t afraid to work, either.
The one family I know has been saving for their daughter’s quinceañera, which is apparently a mega-bash for which they’ll need to rent a large facility. The mom was asking my daughter and I about suitable locations, and I suggested the local city hall. My daughter replied, “It’s not big enough.” (The family attendees will number in the hundreds.)
Imagine a white guy doing that for his daughter. Imagine a white guy working his butt off to rehab a house to make it into a dollhouse for his family. (For that matter, imagine a white guy knowing how to do anything.) Imagine a white guy proudly buying luxury items for the family. (Some of the white country boys fit this bill, though the pride, warmth, and sense of worth is often absent.)
The white guys would rather not have any kids (and will pressure girlfriends, or even wives, to abort them), and, if they do have the misfortune to have them, are hell-bent on avoiding being expected or required to provide for them. Normally getting a white dad to provide even minimally for his children requires a court order (which requires a divorce). Work is beneath them–though it is of course not beneath their wives.
The Hispanic dad is loved and respected; his family is proud of him. The white dad is often puzzled as to why the kids he pretty much dumped off a the side of the road have little or no affection or respect for him.
Yes, many White men are going native because Hispanic women are more traditional, thus more loving and supportive. They can cook, will clean the house and want kids. They want to please their man. In response, he is moved to please her.
Religion is key. Hispanic women are often devout Catholics. They don’t expect a man to be God and fulfill all their needs. There not looking for God in a mere mortal man. White women want so much and demand a man fulfill all their needs if they aren’t devout. Who can live up to that? Not Bill Gates, Vladimir Putin, or Kanye West – all recent divorce victims.
Same in Arizona, Dis. I guess they do not have a “home” here.
LOVED IT

Just sayin’
So Joey Biden thinks he has a plan for the rampant inflation and rising gas prices. Haha, we will just see how this all plays out. How did it work out for him by releasing millions of gallons of oil a few weeks ago from our strategic petroleum reserves? That sure was nice, we got to save a few pennies for a week or two.
Now we are back on the upward trajectory, sky’s the limit! Back in 2020 when I still used Facebook on a somewhat irregular basis, I recall making a post that everyone should mark this day on their calendar, noting gas prices at $1.80/gallon, and I claimed that if Biden was elected we would never see this number at the pump again. It sure sucks to be right, but then again you can’t blame me because I didn’t vote for him!
Too bad we can’t harness the power and heat from the western wildfires to use for energy!
My wife filled her gas tank for $4.22/gal at the Edison, NJ Costco. That’s the lowest price in our area.
Average price for number 2 fuel oil in my part of Rhode Island is $5.88/gallon.
Hey Crusher, I put in two Mr. Heater gas jobs. 100% efficient . I only run the oil boiler when it gets below zero. The things kick ass
http://image.sportsmansguide.com/adimgs/l/6/651032m2_ts.jpg
Gas is $4.29 . MY Suburban takes 42 gallons. That’s 180 balloons for a fill up. I drove 400 miles last year with the beast plowing snow. Worth every penny. My Tacoma 2.7 liter 4 popper is what I drive. to the store. My wifes Hyundai gets like 28 miles to the gallon. Gas is a bargain as far as I am concerned. A shit load of energy in a gallon of gas.
Just got back from your neighborhood. Diesel $6.19 per gallon on US 10. That’s a tough nut for an independent trucker financing his own rig.
all intentional of course.
can any liberals explain how gas doubled since trump was evicted?
how everything else has jumped horribly?
we know you fetid liberals don’t care about results, just gentalia-packing underwear and fisting for first graders.
Price increases come from two sources.
Decreased supply
Increased demand
The Deep State, AKA the WEF with their AGW agenda must increase the price on all fossil fuel products to slow the demand.
Again, they want to kill FF without ample renewable backup. This is not only going to piss off everyone, it is going to kill loads of people.
The collapse of the supply side, IMHO, is orchestrated. Diesel fuel cost is starting to slow down trucking, insufficient personnel is affecting the entire supply chain.
BTW, with Russia cut off, fracking a banker’s no man’s land and Saudi Arabia talking to the Chinese and pissed off at us, where exactly are we going to get any more oil. Get used to 4-5-6 dollar gasoline.
Also, BTW, inflation comes from more circulating dollars in the system with the same amount of goods and services period. Tax and spend causes inflation. Running the presses causes inflation.
Rube-i-con . Fetid -Liberal? Your tits are twisted my man. The only thing fetid about myself is the skunk cabbage in the swamp out back. I believe you need a fist in the face, To mention fisting of a first grader really shows your true compunction. I believe if I met you I would skip the fist and park my sz. 16 Redwing steeltoe up your ass.
@stelmosfire
As if there is not some agenda to warp children onto the lgbtq+ nonsense as early as possible.
As offensive as the comment might be the reality is there is a movement to sexualize children as young as possible.
In Phoenix, $4.75 to $4.89. Regular.
We are in “The Throes of Addiction”?
” With progression, individuals can develop a psychological and physical need for the drug/substance referred to as dependence. In essence, drug addiction is a war from within that pits competing values against each other and negatively impacts multiple areas of an addict’s life.?”
Yes, it’s a spiritual war. Which may be why it will be so difficult to overcome the societal addictions and conditions of the day. Because spirituality itself has been so dismantled within our culture and within us. And we try to remove God in all things and not invite Him in. And then you have the added and very complicated layers of codependence and you have a recipe for sheer catastrophe brewing.
You can’t cure stupid, but at least there’s one that agrees not to procreate and pass along those genes:

25 years from now she’ll be childless and dried up, living alone in a darkened condo with a dozen cats and cases of cheap wine, passed out in a chair in front of a flickering TV, cats peeing and pooping on the kitchen floor.

America will survive a wannabe little Hitler like Trump. But I don’t know if we can survive a madman like Putin. He has his finger on the nuclear button and he is just crazy enough to use it. I wish people would please stop defending him. It scares the hell out of me.
LOL thanks for giving me a nice good laugh today. You are too funny! Guess you didn’t realize that you are supporting big bad “Nazis”. BOO!! LOL
Casey White captured, Vickie White Clintonned herself, SSL
I know. I won’t be able to talk about that today and it may be a little while until I can. But I don’t believe she did that to herself. I guess to laugh and to cry in really short order is just being alive you know
Donald Trump is NOTHING like Hitler and the comparison is bizarre and bordering on ludicrous.
Trying to remember where I first heard “heebie-jeebies”, lately. I used it a few weeks ago and that means I read it somewhere. It’s driving me cray-cray.
https://spiritdailyblog.com/news/update-on-alleged-german-apparition …, a new apparition re Ukraine from Deutschland…
Wakarahen … one Ashok Sarkar (also called himself “Ashok Fakir”) whom I came to appreciate as my Baul guru in Vancouver, claimed that “heebie-jeebies” was a metathesis of the Bengali “hiji-biji”, meaning approximately the same thing.
I found that impressive, as I’d always assumed it had emerged from Black usage.
Ashok would never be seen without a lit joint in his hand; the Baul are fun-loving holy men, musical and dramatic.
He had previously allied himself with Ralph Metzner and the Leary Desperadoes, back in the day. Got booted out of the US for it.
John and Jarek
The following is about Penn. in 2020:
Either Kavanaugh or Barrett could have provided the fourth vote needed to hear the case. They both declined to explain why they didn’t do so. Deep State got ’em both, right John?
Trump lost the state by 80, 000 votes and the ballots in question regarding the mail-in deadline extension numbered about 10,000.
“A decision in these cases would not have any implications regarding the 2020 election…But a decision would provide invaluable guidance for future elections,” Alito wrote. He said the cases “call out for review.” Alito also a DS or WEF dupe, right John?
In Arizona:
The Arizona SC said, “Elections will not be held invalid for mere irregularities unless it can be shown that the Result has been affected by such irregularity,” …
The US Supreme Court rules on AZ:
‘The justices, however, never actually got to look at those claims. In fact, that wasn’t even part of her petition to the high court.’

You two love birds can carry your own water on the other decisions.
Btw, fuck the Democrats and Republicans. I’m now a full-fledged bellicose Bohemian. Eat your hearts out, Philistines!
Second booster? You don’t want to get “covid”!
Stop distorting! You’re just jealous of this bellicose Bohemian!
The issue is the integrity of the elections.
When the difference becomes less than 2% between the candidates, then the results will always be questioned, especially when ballot stuffing, computer manipulation and multiple runs of ballots are possible.
Recounts, investigations do not account for any of the three.
2022 should be interesting. If the Dems win after their performance, the election process is shot.
Also, the idea that if one state’s results would not make a difference in the election does not mean another ‘s wouldn’t. The reaction of the judiciary to hundreds of affidavits from eyewitnesses gives an idea of how one sided our judiciary is today.
The Deep State, AKA, the WEF, had to dump Trump as he, in a second term, was a significant threat to them. He still is, 2024 will be a corker. I believe they will stop at nothing, including assassination to keep him out of the WH, especially if he has a Trumpian Congress.
The first sentence above is obviously correct. Affidavits may not be accurate, and many contained hearsay which is mostly inadmissible.
I’ll vote for Trump if I have to. The Dems may just want him to run.
For months, problems will be buried with all the Trump bluster and coverage, Jan.6th will still be a topic and claims of fraud in 2020 will resurface, and the return of this bombastic oaf could be a real turn off for those who want something better. Don’t be surprised if many voters are just sick and tired of the guy. The Dems definitely don’t want DeSantis.
Getting the Congress is key, and Trump may be able to reshape his image in the following two years. We’ve sunk so low, that even if Trump were assassinated, the only reaction would probably be all those on Fox expressing their outrage.
If Trump is ever assassinated, you can bet it’d be a RWNJ whodunnit.
I have nothing against Bohemians. In fact, I have nothing against nobody. Whatever turns your crank!
In other words, you got something against somebody.

Or is it code: Higher IQ races and individuals aren’t having kids, being too busy making money and trying to get ahead. Capitalism being completely anti-life after all. He’s from South Africa – he must know about all this I assume.
If their IQs are higher why are they trying to get ahead?
That is about the worst thing one can do for one’s happiness and overall health and well-being.
Weird and dangerous. Right, we need more people. OMG. Gives me more heebie jeebies with the willies on top.
@ beantownbill
I will be following the saga of your recovery from the hip surgery and I’m interested in the various other surgeries mentioned by other commenters: eye lids, carpal tunnel, etc. etc. (or as some type it, ect.)
I figure I’m in need of 7 different surgeries: both hips, both knees, carpal tunnel involving right arm and hand (been driving me nuts for nearly a year due to numbness), cataract surgery of left eye or possibly both, left shoulder deltoids (feels like it’s tearing apart if I reach for something the wrong way…I had my right shoulder done a few years ago).
This is what life is like at 81.5 years old. This is all true. I’m not a hypochondriac.
I can help with a few.
My wife had eye lids done. Lots of black and blue and you have to sleep sitting up for a few days to avoid fluid buildup.
All the joint surgeries require considerable PT to ensure good mobility after they are done. The surgeons will sugar coat this, it is tough and totally up to you. Do them one at a time, too.
I have had cataract surgery, wonderful results. Again, one at a time, each one about three months and lots of eye drops. Your color vision becomes young again and your distance vision too. Still need readers but not as strong.
You had one shoulder done so you know what that is all about.
The knees and hips are done with much less complicated surgery now so recovery is much easier, shorter and less painful.
I know nothing about carpal tunnel.
Thanks for your input, JAZ.
The New Jersey Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled that Sundiata Acoli, a former Black Panther convicted in the 1973 slaying of New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster, may be released on parole after spending nearly 50 years in prison.
