And so, the party of the Resistance has completed its solemn four day confab of info-ceremonials and sent forth its Primero Ingenioso Hidalgo, Joe Biden, on his limping horse of platitudes, armored by news media hosannahs, a saintly woman-of-color at his side to assist, tilting onward with his lance of moral instruction to bring love, hope and light to a world darkened by the shadow of MAGA-Diablo, Trump-the-Terrible. Plus, Joe promised to stop Covid-19 and cure cancer.

The convention organizers contrived a schedule Thursday night that did not put Mr. Biden before the cameras until eleven o’clock, preceded by a cavalcade of his former primary election rivals and family members pouring on soporific encomiums to a tinkly-treacly musical sound-track — aiming, apparently, to lull as many viewers as possible to sleep before the speech. But finally, the candidate appeared out of the studio mists, and acquitted himself ably reading from the jumbotron teleprompter, while his handlers cringed off-stage in little pools of flop-sweat.

The speech itself was wholly an invocation of righteousness in opposition to the manifest evil as represented by the current occupant of the White House. The question is: how many voters actually believe that when the party of the Resistance tacitly supports mobs looting, shooting, and burning across the land? Earlier that day, the Terrible Trump sallied forth diabolically to Joe Biden’s place of birth, Scranton, PA, where he inveighed against “the crazy people on the other side.”

He had a point. The Democrats are crazy people with a mostly crazy policy program — which a large number of non-crazy Americans actually see for what it is: the drive to run America on sheer coercion, pitting the supposedly under-privileged against the supposedly over-privileged, telling everybody what to think and punishing all non-correct thinkers. The catch is that life in this country has gotten a whole lot harder for everybody economically and, before long, matters may turn quite desperate. So, will the months and years just ahead become a fight over the table-scraps of the bygone 20th century banquet, with dreadful racialist overtones, mobs rioting and battling in the streets?

The Democrats have not called off their war-dogs and really everybody is aware of that. Antifa rioters have insulted the public order for eighty-some nights in Portland, Oregon, while the Democratic mayor, Ted Wheeler, and the Democratic governor, Kate Brown, do absolutely nothing to stop it. Similar campaigns against civil order are run by Democratic mayors Lori Lightfoot in Chicago and Bill deBlasio in New York City to the degree that these places may never return to the old normal. Mayor Jacob Frey allowed “social justice” mobs to burn down Minneapolis, leading the city council to logically propose abolishing the city’s police force. The Democratic regime in California uses hordes of the mentally ill homeless to prod its productive citizens to flee the state. Baltimore, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Richmond, Louisville — all yield to Democratic Party inspired violence and anarchy.

For Mr. Biden, the party’s Don Quixote, and his sidekick Kamala Harris, yesterday with all its infomercial glitz will be the apogee of the campaign. Antifa is promising a big Saturday night of “good trouble” in Portland to end the week. The NFAC black paramilitary gang is promising a show of armed “resistance” at the Louisville racetrack on the rescheduled Sept.5 Kentucky Derby day. Last time the group came out, in late July, they accidently shot three of their own troops. Just a week before the Democratic Convention, looters on Chicago’s ritzy Michigan Avenue announced that their robberies should be written off as “reparations” for slavery. Mr. Biden and Ms. Harris haven’t said a word about any of it. The voters are not supposed to notice, or care.

Personally, I don’t see how this amounts to a winning election strategy. And the Democrats themselves may not either. Rather, their aim may be to generate as much disorder as possible from the election process itself to paralyze governing the USA at every level and paint Mr. Trump as Hobgoblin-in-chief in order to keep their hustle going: the mau-mauing of America. It’s a really dumb and reckless game and it will bring on a whole lot of not-good trouble for a country reeling into full-blown economic collapse.

Marie Antoinette wore a simple white dress to her beheading. I imagine that the clean white purity of her white gown contrasted nicely with the blood spurting out of her neck when the guillotine chopped off her head? The French inventors of the guillotine maintained that the guillotine was a more humane method of execution since it was “all over in 2 minutes.” How did they come up with the 2 minute calculation?

White was the color of the Bourbon dynasty. Red the Revolution?

            SY,
Forget the gold and buy silver bullion coins. When you want to sell gold, you will have to go to some disreputable scum…coin shops or a pawnbroker, to convert it to small enough denominations to be useful…You will pay a healthy premium to both buy and sell the gold. With silver dimes or quarters, you eliminate the issue…everyone in this country recognizes the silver coins.

            Trust me on this….

The point is that guillotines chopping off heads need Energy.

If humans are made burning all the little remaining Energy reserves chopping heads and destroying cities, they prove once more they are primitives no less than wild hogs – understanding nothing about Energy and the Laws of Physics.

That would look like playing an Energy Musical Chairs Game.

Speaking of the death penalty – with Kamala Harris involved in lethal injections, which sometimes torment the groaning victim for most of an hour with needle poking before he is dead –

Kamala Harris was a sadistic enabler of Arnold Schwarzenegger, during Arnold’s term as governor of California 2003-2011, when Arnold was the last governor putting people to death there

In one case in 2004, a man named Kevin Cooper came within hours of being put to death, and Kamala refused to allow a DNA test because it might prove that Cooper was innocent

How are black voters taking Kamala’s record of jailing tens of thousands of black people, not caring too much about their guilt, sentencing some to death, giving others prison terms for smoking pot, whilst Kamala herself laughed about doing a few doobies?

And given Kamala’s career start was as mistress to California political kingmaker Willie Brown, married and 30 years older, who appointed Kamala to state commissions and then backed her political election start in San Francisco – should Kamala be perhaps now initiating a ‘Me Too!’ denunciation of now-86-year-old Mr Brown?

      Also:

“Harris is in the pocket of Silicon Valley, receiving more money from the tech companies than any other Democrat candidate did. That means without pretext Google can bury conservative sites in its search results, Youtube can kick off everyone who supported Trump in 2016, and Twitter can ban a harmless boomer like Bill Mitchell and not have the slightest concern negative repercussions will come of their blatantly violating Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. Silicon Valley’s election interference dwarfs that of Russia, China, or any other foreign nation’s and yet scarcely a word will be said about it”
      – Audacious Epigone on Unz Review

“How are black voters taking Kamala’s record of jailing tens of thousands of black people, not caring too much about their guilt, sentencing some to death . . .”

Ummm, if I’m not mistaken, it is the jury that determines guilt or innocence, and the judge is the one that pronounces the sentence . . . Not the prosecutor.

        • elysianfield August 21, 2020 at 11:16 am #

          CC,
It is generally considered that the prosecutor is…complicit in the process of incarceration….

        • Sredni Vashtar August 21, 2020 at 11:58 am #

The prosecutor brings forth the State’s case against the defendant – but he or she is supposed to be interested in justice too. That means not hiding evidence that may lead to acquittal. Keith Ellison hid evidence that might lead to the acquittal of Officer Chauvin, namely the complete tape.

        • cc rider August 21, 2020 at 12:02 pm #

Well, the Innocence Project people strongly disagrees with you. Even after evidence was provided exonerating some who were convicted, she ignored it and plowed forward in sending them to prison. The prosecutor plays a HUGE role in all of this. They play the role of determining who gets indicted or not, for one thing. Some of the most evil and lowest life forms on earth are DAs. And I’m talking from both parties. All they care about is a conviction record and most DAs use the position as a stepping stone to a higher office. They don’t give a fuck about the innocence of guilt. Poor people are the easiest to convict.

Now, there’s no doubt that we also have terrible judges throughout the land. Of both parties.

Also, as AG of California Kamalalalalalala was a tireless supporter of keeping the draconian and ridiculous War on Drugs alive.

          • SW August 21, 2020 at 4:41 pm #

The more unsavory details of Kamala’s career will be airbrushed out or met with accusations of racism or misogyny. And I don’t think most people who intend to vote Democrat care at all. If the elections were held tomorrow morning the result will be the same as November. Who are these “undecided voters”? I’ve never met one.

Biden could win but either way, the unlucky winner faces four years of economic decline, an empowered criminal element that has shown it won’t be controlled by anyone in authority & dealing with a Covid-terrorized nation.

          • Kim August 21, 2020 at 10:05 pm #

            @ cc rider

Also, as AG of California Kamalalalalalala was a tireless supporter of keeping the draconian and ridiculous War on Drugs alive.

People make this kind of comment all the time but they never give any details.

Do you not like all of the War on Drugs or just some parts of it? What parts of it are draconian and/or ridiculous? (I am not saying you are wrong – maybe you are right – but I can see no details)

What drug policy do you favor? End of prohibition?

Do you believe in a complete free-for-all? Complete drug legalization?

If so, should all drugs be legal? With what limits? None? Would it be legal for private individuals to import, manufacture and distribute powerful, deadly, and addictive narcotics: heroin, frentanyl, cocaine, PCP, meth, speed, ecstasy?

Could I have my own meth or ecstasy lab – assuming it conformed to local zoning laws – and then distribute/sell those drugs to whomever?

That would be very helpful to me in recruiting and maintaining my stable of dead-eyed street-whores. Maybe your daughter or a neighbor’s daughter could be among them.

And of course, mass competition with other entrepreneur’s locally-made meth would mean my prices woud have to be very low, but I figure I could make up for that in volume, or even just popularity.

Not everyone has the time or skills to make his own meth. With my cheap meth, I can make a little money while being the center of local youthful attention, the go-to guy for every young man and woman in my suburb, because I could provide more young men and women with an affordable weekend of meth-fun, or even a full week, of meth-induced psychosis. Man, would I get laid!

And wouldn’t that put the USA back on its feet.

Could the Chinese Communist Party open up street stalls to distribute free fentanyl? The CCP is already supplying subsidized fentanyl to the US masses via Mexico. Just think how much faster they could destroy the USA if they could import and distribute it legally for free!

Do you think that they might let the USA do that in China?

Just think of what the future might be. We already have 60,000 a year dying of opiate overdoses. And we have thousands more people each year who feel their drug-depressed lives are so pointless that they are committing suicide. And we have – is it millions – of drug-addicted people who are now living on the streets.

The average person does not seem to understand the basic facts about addiction to narcotics.

Narcotics make people non-functional and destroy their dopamine receptors. As a result, they can no longer feel hope or happiness.

You might like to read the note on this process – or go to the associated link – at the end of this comment.

Summary of note: Addictive narcotic drugs totally fuck people’s brains.

Legalizers say ridiculous things like “The high price of drugs just helps cartel profits and makes drug dealers able to make a living from drugs and makes drug users break into homes because they can’t afford a fix.”

Certainly, drug cartels make large profits. Drug dealers are just sociopaths. They have no place in any society, except prison or at the end of a rope. And druggies do break-ins and robberies because they have no money because their drug addiction means that they can’t hold down a job.

Because – again – drug addicts cannot function like normal people.

Drug addicts cannot get through a day without their drugs. The idea of drugs consumes them. Without their drugs, they live in pain and misery because their opiate neuro-receptors have ceased to function so that their lives become a gray nightmare of despair and they are no longer able to work, study, play, cooperate, be responsible for families, build friendships, dream or hope and could do nothing but lay sunk in misery and their own shit waiting for their next hit.

Drug addicts have sex like anyone else and so they have children to various people but they are unable to look after the children – malnourished children whose nappies are never changed or who, as childcare, are locked in the car for hours while mom – who cannot hold down any other job – does tricks off the corner and dad, whoever he is, does burglaries.

I am quite sure that this would not be any improvement on the War on Drugs.

What would be an improvement? Zero tolerance for drug dealing and making dealers bear more of the costs of their evil.

            1. Make the unlawful sale or possession of a trafficable quantity of narcotics punishable by a mandatory 20 year sentence.

            2. Mandatory death sentences for for larger trafficable amounts of narcotics.

            3. Make it a major state policy to prosecute for homicide, with the option of a death sentence, anyone who supplies a quantity of narcotics such that the consumption of those narcotics may be reasonably inferred to a) have led to the death of someone who used those narcotics or b) have caused a user of those narcotics to have directly caused the death of another human being.

60,000 opioid deaths a year. These are unprosecuted murders and we are just turning out heads to look the other way.

The Drug War needs to have many more fatalities on the other side and our side needs to have many fewer.

            https://www.hazeldenbettyford.org/education/bcr/addiction-research/drug-abuse-brain-ru-915

The Brain Following Chronic and Long-Term Substance Abuse

While the intense feelings of pleasure and reward derived from early drug use can play a substantial part in continued use of the drug, it is only a small part of the neurophysiological cycle of addiction. Learning has long been understood to be tied to the administration of rewards and punishments, and the intense reward sensation of drug intoxication creates a strong and rapid learning response in the brain, associating drug use with feelings of pleasure.

This association leads to higher and more frequent drug administration in order to experience the pleasure of the reward response more often. Additionally, the intensified dopamine response in the brain that mood-altering drugs produce does not naturally stop once the behavior is initiated or completed (as is the case with natural reward behaviors such as eating or having sex); as a result, cravings for the rewards associated with the drug continue to occur, even during drug use, which leads to compulsive, repetitive use.

Continued, long-term use also results in the brain reducing the number of dopamine receptors in the brain to adjust for the increased dopamine in the system. This reduction in dopamine receptors has a two-fold impact on addiction. First, reduced dopamine receptors in the SN are associated with impulsive behavior that has been tied in lab studies to escalating and compulsive self-administration of drugs.

Reduced dopamine receptors also result in a state known as “anhedonia”, or a loss of pleasure in activities that were once enjoyed. The depressive feelings of anhedonia can drive a user to administer drugs in a reactive attempt to feel pleasure again, especially in a state of low self-control.9,10 Self-control is further reduced as the toxic effects of long-term drug use begin to erode grey matter in the prefrontal cortex, reducing users’ ability to rationally consider consequences as a result of reduced executive function and also reducing the prefrontal cortex’s role in regulating the brain’s reward system.

Guillotine, Firing Squad, and hanging via the trap door (which breaks the neck), all very quick and merciful. The high tech (1900’s version) electric chair and the feminine medical care “lethal injection”? Less so and much less so.

The feminine cares more about appearance of mercy than actual mercy.

        • GreenAlba August 21, 2020 at 12:17 pm #

Do you never get tired of making stuff up?

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lethal_injection#:~:text=On%20May%2011%2C%201977%2C%20Oklahoma,an%20ultrashort%2Dacting%20barbiturate%20in

“Lethal injection was proposed on January 17, 1888, by Julius Mount Bleyer,[3] a New York doctor who praised it as being cheaper than hanging.”

“On May 11, 1977, Oklahoma’s state medical examiner Jay Chapman proposed a new, less painful method of execution, known as Chapman’s protocol: “An intravenous saline drip shall be started in the prisoner’s arm, into which shall be introduced a lethal injection consisting of an ultrashort-acting barbiturate in combination with a chemical paralytic […]”

Reverend Bill Wiseman introduced the method into the Oklahoma legislature, where it passed and was quickly adopted (Title 22, Section 1014(A) […]”.

          Upstanding ladies, all, I’m sure.

I think what he meant is that being “seemingly” less violent it would appeal more to the feminine sensibility.

          • GreenAlba August 24, 2020 at 10:50 am #

I think what he meant was to slander women, as he does at every turn, in his eternal efforts to claim that they should not be allowed to vote. For example. For reasons at which one can only guess.

        • stelmosfire August 21, 2020 at 12:23 pm #

About lethal injection. I have had a few pets put down and they always died seemingly peaceful and without struggle or pain. I’m sure some vets blow it but that has not been my experience. Why all the botched human executions?

          • GreenAlba August 21, 2020 at 1:05 pm #

I once watched a TV programme with Michael Portillo (erstwhile Tory Government minister, who became a TV personality and presenter) travelling round the US to speak to people and research the least painful way to execute people. A grisly topic.

At the end, he seemed to conclude that administering methane was the most pain-free and effective way to put someone to sleep, from what I recall.

But to the fella to whom he was talking at that point – someone involved in the judicial or penitentiary process – this was ludicrous. The point of the exercise, he said, was not to achieve a painless death, but rather a measure of vengeance.

We don’t do it here, of course. Public attitudes were much affected by the wrongful hanging of Timothy Evans (age 25), in 1950 – executed by the state for supposedly killing his wife and child, who were actually killed by a serial killer living in the same house. Talk about piling on the tragedies.

            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timothy_Evans

            Some mistakes you can’t undo.

The death penalty also costs the taxpayer a whole lot more than life imprisonment.

            https://www.hg.org/legal-articles/which-is-cheaper-execution-or-life-in-prison-without-parole-31614

So it is largely symbolic, it would seem. And doesn’t seem to work as a deterrent anyway. Presumably, if you do it Stephen Bullock style in a world lacking in expensive facilities and systems, the cost will be less, the judgements more summary, and the mistakes sooner forgotten.

          • Sredni Vashtar August 21, 2020 at 4:49 pm #

Not a deterrent? Let’s do it publicly and find out with strict data driven studies.

          • Urinthe Village August 21, 2020 at 4:55 pm #

For one thing, doctors and nurses will not help (ethics, oaths and whatnot), and the prison guards are unable to start a functioning intravenous line. The foul ups are mostly because the medication infiltrates into the surrounding tissue rather than entering the bloodstream directly. This can cause tremendous pain as the stuff injected is very irritating to local tissues.

Then the various medications do not get to their targets because they are inefficiently absorbed. So you can get phenomena like paralysis without unconsciousness, which is NOT a good way to go.

They have also attempted to assemble an apparatus to inject the stuff because apparently no one wants to push the plunger. These has often failed (Doesn’t Apple have an App?)

On top of all that, they have a hard time getting the medication to inject as pharmacists don’t want to be involved either. Most prison guards do not have DEA licenses. And on and on.

Sounds good on paper, but somewhat of a challenge to pull off unless you practice a lot, know what you are doing, and have access to the right medication. Which Vets do.

          • Kim August 21, 2020 at 10:45 pm #

            @ Green Alba

The death penalty also costs the taxpayer a whole lot more than life imprisonment.

Obviously, there is nothing intrinsically expensive about the death sentence. The expense that it entails comes from the costs associated with opposing it, not with carrying it out.

In this connection, it is important to realize that the cost of the process that you mention has been raised deliberately as part of a strategy analogous to the Cloward-Pliven strategy: make something untenable – e.g., the United States – by making it ever more uneconomic and ungovernable. Ultimately it must collapse.

This is a standard marxist approach, described by Lenin as “worse is better”. Destroy good and idealistic societies by making them pay the the cost of maintaining their any impossible and ultimately self-destructive ideals that they may lay claim to.

The corona virus beat-up is another good example of this kind of planned destruction: set impossibly high standards which it would break the nation economically to maintain (“even one life is one too many!”). Then stand back and watch the nation break as it tries to maintain such idealistic and impossible standards.

            Marxism 101.

Of course, the ur-theorist of this strategy was Saul Alinksky. He encapsulated it in Rule 4 of his “Rules for Radicals”:

RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.”

If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules. (This is a serious rule. The besieged entity’s very credibility and reputation is at stake, because if activists catch it lying or not living up to its commitments, they can continue to chip away at the damage.)

Of course, Alinsky, Hilary Clinton’s mentor, famously dedicates Rules for Radicals to Satan.

As to how sane societies should deal with this problem?

Stop proposing ridiculous unmaintainable ideals, accept that every system has flaws and failings (as all humans and all human societies do) and the system will cease being a mark for these people who want society to fail.

In other words, the answer to the supposed “costs” of the death penalty is obvious: just get rid of the endless appeals.

We must do our best but at the same time stop claiming that the system is perfect. [In the area of “do your best”, in my view the brady rule regardng exculpatory evidence should be enforced against prosecutors with extra vigilant ferocity as a criminal offense to be reviewed, investigated, and overseen by an extra-judical ombudsman – and that would properly concentrate the minds of over-enthusiastic prosecutors.]

As to the issue of pain and suffering, a bullet to the back of the head will do the trick for any kind of pain a person is feeling.

          • GreenAlba August 22, 2020 at 5:49 am #

I merely described the situation, Kim. At the moment, I believe the death penalty primarily has a symbolic function in the US. A symbolism that has a good deal of support (I would say ‘in your country’, but your use of the word ‘nappies’ elsewhere – despite the use of ‘mom’ – means I can’t assume you are American – or even Americanised).

You can promote whatever you choose, and create the ‘feeder’ situations which make that work for you, shedding few tears for the Timothy Evans of this world. I’m not personally a fan of capital punishment, but there are situations where, nevertheless, what happens to a particular psychopath doesn’t figure highly in my list of anxieties.

There are also situations where creating a martyr is the very last thing you want to do. Jihadists, for example, need to be left to languish in the least ‘martyrish’ situation possible.

It’s worth remembering too, for the future without the expensive judicial and penitentiary systems, that this may very likely happen under a version of fascism, whether the Nazi kind or the Communist kind.

In both cases, many innocent people were informed on, quite creatively, simply to settle personal squabbles. Justice is not necessarily served by summary judgements, regardless of the perceived disadvantages of current systems.

If you were a relative of Timothy Evans, you’d probably see things differently. It all seemed so obvious to the investigating police.

He could have started with the ‘Birmingham Six’, ‘Guldford Four’ and ‘Maguire Seven’, all wrongfully convicted for bombings and explosives offences carried out by the Provisional IRA.

All languished in jail for YEARS before relentless campaigns for justice finally achieved the overturning of their unsafe convictions.

Back when the ‘Met’ (London Metropolitan Police) was joked about as being ‘sponsored by Tippex’, and what mattered to the baying mobs and media was to get SOMEONE – ANYONE Irish into jail as balm for their sorrow.

Result of Kim’s bullet in the back of the head or Janos’ public executions in those cases?

I leave you to guess, but don’t forget to factor in the IRA’s great love of a martyr for recruiting the next generation of bombers and knee wreckers.

JHK, I look forward to a post one day on how all of this emanates from Peak Oil, the basis of all the turmoil. I believe it does and, although I’ve read much of your writings on the subject heretofore, I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on it as things stand today.

I’ll tell you right now: US oil production is down over 2 million barrels-a-day since 2019. Scores of oil companies are going bankrupt. As others have said, ours is an energy economy, not a money economy. We’ve entered an era of contraction, of de-growth. We face a re-set to a smaller-scale, less complex mode of daily existence. To many, it will look like collapse. –JHK Admin

Thanks for the blog this morning, Jim.

I attempted to dragoon myself into laboring thru the DNC convention, but I couldn’t handle more then a few select speeches. My eyelids just kept rebelling at the moribund events on the screen.

“The speech itself was wholly an invocation of righteousness in opposition to the manifest evil as represented by the current occupant of the White House. The question is: how many voters actually believe that when the party of the Resistance tacitly supports mobs looting, shooting, and burning across the land. Earlier that day, the Terrible Trump sallied forth diabolically to Joe Biden’s place of birth, Scranton, PA, where he inveighed against “the crazy people on the other side.””

Don’t forget that the DNC trotted out their coterie of swamp creatures from the Deep State, like Yates & Powell. It’s a telling sign of a political campaign that they have to host neo-cons as an attempt to prove that their candidate is worthy.

The whole thing is so bizarre. There is so much Orwellian doublespeak, and lies, and agitprop, and plain old fuckery to the DNC convention this year & the democrat party as a whole that the outlines of their mask & the real sociopathic face that lies underneath are blurring badly.

            @ Sredni Vashtar

What does a city without a police force look like? Sandy Cortez answers, “A suburb” – perhaps like the one she grew up in.

It will look like what the suburbs will look like once the AFFH is implemented.

Of course, JHK often speaks against the suburbs but is this what is meant by getting rid of them, as the left wishes to do?

Will AFFH help us build cheerful, clean, safe, walkable, liveable neighborhoods, close to family, work and neighbors?

Or will it create a million weedy yards and unpainted houses with broken windows and a lifestyle that includes daily having to scare off “youths” who are in the habit of kicking in your doors and climbing through your windows?

AFFH is absolutely the worst possible news for anyone who thinks he or she can escape the city by moving to the suburbs.

            https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/biden-and-dems-are-set-to-abolish-the-suburbs/

Here are some slightly edited quotes from this excellent article by Stanley Kurtz:

            Start “quote”
“It is no exaggeration to say that progressive urbanists have long dreamed of abolishing the suburbs. (In fact, I’ve explained it all in a book.) Initially, these anti-suburban radicals wanted large cities to simply annex their surrounding suburbs, like cities did in the 19th century. That way a big city could fatten up its tax base. Once progressives discovered it had since become illegal for a city to annex its surrounding suburbs without voter consent, they cooked up a strategy that would amount to the same thing.

This de facto annexation strategy had three parts:
            (1) use a kind of quota system to force “economic integration” on the suburbs, pushing urban residents outside of the city;

            (2) close down suburban growth by regulating development, restricting automobile use, and limiting highway growth and repair, thus forcing would-be suburbanites back to the city;

            (3) use state and federal laws to force suburbs to redistribute tax revenue to poorer cities in their greater metropolitan region.

If you force urbanites into suburbs, force suburbanites back into cities, and redistribute suburban tax revenue, then presto! You have effectively abolished the suburbs.

Once Biden starts to enforce AFFH the way Obama’s administration originally meant it to work, it will be as if America’s suburbs had been swallowed up by the cities they surround. They will lose control of their own zoning and development, they will be pressured into a kind of de facto regional-revenue redistribution, and they will even be forced to start building high-density low-income housing. The latter, of course, will require the elimination of single-family zoning.

On top of AFFH, Biden now plans to use Cory Booker’s strategy for attacking suburban zoning.

AFFH works by holding HUD’s Community Development Block Grants hostage to federal-planning demands. Suburbs won’t be able to get the millions of dollars they’re used to in HUD grants unless they eliminate single-family zoning and densify their business districts.

AFFH also forces HUD-grant recipients to sign pledges to “affirmatively further fair housing.” Those pledges could get suburbs sued by civil-rights groups, or by the feds, if they don’t get rid of single-family zoning. The only defense suburbs have against this two-pronged attack is to refuse HUD grants. True, that will effectively redistribute huge amounts of suburban money to cities, but if they give up their HUD grants at least the suburbs will be free of federal control.

The Booker approach — now endorsed by Biden — may block even this way out. Booker wants to hold suburban zoning hostage not only to HUD grants, but to the federal transportation grants used by states to build and repair highways. It may be next to impossible for suburbs to opt out of those state-run highway repairs. Otherwise, suburban roads will deteriorate and suburban access to major arteries will be blocked.

AFFH plus the Booker plan will leave America’s suburbs with no alternative but to eliminate their single-family zoning and turn over their planning to the feds. Slowly but surely, suburbs will become helpless satellites of the cities they surround, exactly as progressive urbanists intend.

            End “quote”

Kunstler faults the Democrats for not calling off “their war dogs.” That’s an absurd telling; of course the Democrats know that they have zero control over those who violently riot. No one should expect the rabble-rousers on the street to respond to the talking heads on T.V. The rioters (almost certainly infiltrated by right-wingers stirring the pot for a tasty “boogaloo”) are living in their own world, probably a narrow silo of long-held grievances but with some understanding that the few comforts available in America come at the expense of the many. Our nation’s epic inequality has costs that appear in many forms, one of which is a righteously disgruntled youth.

No reasonable people would be rioting now; the trouble makers are best handled by local law enforcement, and I don’t doubt that eventually they will be stopped. It’s a tragedy that some Portland rioters think that violence advances their cause — if there even is one, other than the elevation of social chaos.

It is the Democrats that are enabling the rioters. Period. They are totally at fault for not presenting a platform for de-escalating tensions in the cities as their cohorts are causing the riots.

I think Bill it’s both. But it’s also exhaustion, fatigue and a general sense of powerlessness after so much bullshit people have to contend with during their lifetimes. Then again, the American people haven’t yet reached their Rubicon which, when they cross over, they will fight back like mad dogs. We may know what is happening, but we’re not desperate or hungry enough for the change or ready to scarifice our lives for it. Not pointing fingers for I too am an “heir” to the empire.

If Soros and Big Business and Big Philanthropy stop funding them and strategizing for then, Antifa and Burn Loot Murder will come to a grinding halt.

All of these groups are part of the closely-knit Democrat family. They riot on command.

That said, I think that their appraoch has been very effective and will continue to be effective. People need to understand that the Dems are completely corrupt and insane. They have no platform or political agenda re our country other than to just “be in control”. Amongst all sorts of nefarious activities, they will utilize voter-fraud in a big big way (mail-in voting is one of their methods). They have flooded states with illegal immigrants who are voting. And, they have the media, who are bombarding Americans with false information and liberal/globalist propaganda, in their pocket. And, Trump won some states only by a razor thin margin (due to all the illegals). And, the Dems, Bloomberg, Deep State, and the Commie Globalists will spend billions and take every underhanded action they can think of to sabotage Trump and America. Bloomberg spent $100MM so the Dems could win the House majority and look at the nightmare that caused for POTUS45, not to mention all of the lost progress in so many zones. Bloomberg is quietly spending billions to support the Dems, and his only goal is ensure POTUS45 doesn’t get re-elected (he has $85BB, so a few billion is NOTHING to him, he is single-handedly going to alter the natural, organic election process of our country). Soros groups, the CCP, and the Eurozone are working on sabotaging POTUS45 too. If there isn’t a huge grassroots movement: if all Repubs/Conservatives don’t get out there and knock on doors… if they don’t convert their family and friends… if they don’t educate everyone they can… if they don’t get the non-voters to register and vote… if they don’t wear Trump hats and t-shirts… if they don’t put Trump signs on their lawns, etc. etc. etc. we could very well lose to the Commie Globalists (the elitists, the 1%, the “Party of Davos”) and they will destroy what is left of the great American experiment. (They are so desperate that they are willing to use covid and the economic shutdown as methods of sabotaging POTUS45’s re-election.) ?
THERE WILL NOT BE A TRUMP LANDSLIDE! HE COULD LOSE. EVERYTHING IS AGAINST HIM. IF WE SNOOZE, WE LOSE. STOP THE LONG PATTERN OF CONSERVATIVE/REPUBLICAN LAZINESS AND UNWILLINGNESS TO FIGHT BACK. STOP THE COMPLACENCY. THIS IS GOING TO BE ONE OF THE CRAZIEST, VICIOUS, DISRUPTIVE ELECTIONS IN US HISTORY.

DO YOUR PART! MAKE EVERYONE YOU KNOW DO THEIR PART! IF EVERYONE DOES THIS, WE CAN GUARANTEE A WIN, AND CAN SAVE AMERICA.

Thus, the attacks on his unwillingness to leave office, even before any election is held, the post office fake fiasco, the Russian fake fiasco, the never-ending coup attempts by the Demoncraps and their idiot supporters. Seems a $10,000 bet would be about right, with the money deposited where neither could access it until the election was over. Although you seem so sure of Trump’s defeat, I would not request any odds, just a straight up wager.

            Funny that.

I was out at a Westside eatery in Los Angeles yesterday and was shocked! at how many wealthy beach-living types have had it with the Democrat Koolaid being served by Garcetti, Newsom, Biden, Harris and the DNC.

LOTS of Trump voters lurking about in “Blue” enclaves!

I would love to see the American voters resoundingly re-elect Trump just to watch all the talking heads at MSDNC, ABC, CBS and CNN lose their minds!!!

And another round of collective heads exploding at The Young Turks 2020 election night fiasco would be so delicious!

It’s funny. The DNC and their TDS followers want us to hate Trump a little more than Biden/Harris and Co.

I think election night will show a decisive win for Trump to let the MSM know we all hate THEM the most!

It must be frustrating for JHK to be running this blog. Not one commentator in one hundred here seems to have accepted the basic ideas of the end of cheap oil and the daily reality of the Long Emergency.

Why is that? Do people here not believe in peak cheap oil?

        I wouldn’t mind seeing a poll.

        • elysianfield August 22, 2020 at 12:26 am #

          “I wouldn’t mind seeing a poll”

          Kim,
Don’t you EVER feed me a softball like that again….

Regarding your question on the end of cheap oil…most on the site are in agreement in principal…however, market forces can keep oil cheap, even when producing it ain’t…as you might have observed over the last 12 months. An example, Platinum is relatively rare, and gold relatively common, however platinum is uncharacteristically selling for much less per ounce than gold…a decade or so ago, this was never the case. Market forces.

You bet, but there’ll only be a smoking shell…no, wait! That’s what’ll happen if he DOESN’T win, if you believe anything the local cabal of Trumpistas have to say. Catastrophists, one and all.

Forget Tom Cotton. He is too much of a war hawk.

Plus nobody could stand watching him on teevee for four years with his Adam’s Apple bobbing up and down up and down up and down.

Sen. Josh Hawley would have a good shot. He has common sense, people LIKE him and he has that aw shucks appeal most could never produce.

  8. JohnAZ August 21, 2020 at 10:45 am #

Just read the media smear of Trump for the week and their enshrinement of Biden et al.

What a crock, all exaggerations and lies.

All the stuff they blamed on Trump was based on the societal reaction to Covid, period. Trump is a bum because the economy tanked. People forget how well it was humming moving into 2020. They love clobbering MAGA because so many people have lost that economic goodness from last year. So Trump is responsible for uncreating the jobs he created. Anyone that would believe that lie is crazy.

All of the Dem demagoguery is based on Covid effects. The Democratic Trump must be a god for all the things he supposedly has done. Creating a virus and using it to destroy what his administration has accomplished. In the Democratic mind, such things are perfectly logical.

Trump used denial of the potential effects of Covid, trying to reduce the effects on the economy by belittling the effects of the virus spread. That was his one mistake and led him to the point he is at now. If proper mitigation control had been enforced in February, and I mean enforced, we would all be relatively disease free today and the Dems would not one point to debate. Trying to be brave and macho when uncontrollable enemies are aimed at you does not pay off all the time. If Biden rides this insanity to victory in Nov., history will remember the March mask less President as one of the greatest screw ups ever.

But back to the present. Assuming, a big one, that the pandemic finally subsided into control, where are we? If Trump wins, the socialistic takeover will be put off another four years. If Biden wins, we will have to create an economic recovery from Covid using socialistic Democratic means. Think about creating new opportunities for growth with increased taxation to pay off the gimmes that elected Dems. More immigration to dilute the labor pool and push down wages. More violence as the Antifa push their agenda at what they perceive as Liberal candy asses. The cities poverty will expand as more taxes are taken from the upper echelon that supplies growth and job.

Think about that! The Dem credo is to take capital away from job creators and give it to protesters and gimmes that vote their way. Cities will blow up in reaction to losing the wherewithal to take care of themselves. Homelessness is going to skyrocket in the cities as folks migrate there to get the benefits of the Democratic give away programs.

Electing Biden and his Progressive cronies is going to speed up TLE. China, Russia, Soros and the gang are just salivating about what will happen after a Democratic victory this year.

There are NO “progressives” around Biden. If any of them, like Sanders, was a true progressive then Medicare for All would be in the platform. Biden declared if it ever got to his desk he would veto it.

Biden has surrounded himself with Neocon hawks from both parties. Biden never saw a potential war he didn’t like.

That is how “progressive” Biden and his team are.

      • wolfbay August 22, 2020 at 8:33 pm #

True. Once they really crank up MMT they have to maintain the dollar as the reserve currency at all cost or its game over. I fear we’re headed for war as we try to keep military hegemony. Sad to say we’re a nation with many war mongers.

I really hope they can work it out. For the sake of elderly people stuck in their apartments & facing death by heat stroke. Not a good situation.

The high in Sacramento is forecast to be around 96F today and 99F tomorrow.

Meanwhile, its a foggy and damp 62F in Duluth today.

    • cbeard August 21, 2020 at 1:22 pm #

One more time. Green energy should supplement the traditional power sources, not replace them. At least, not yet. Maybe someday. The power conglomerates wouldn’t be able to sell as much product if everyone made use of alternative energy sources that are workable in their given locale. They have so much lobbying power that it will be a long time, if ever when you see a shift to cheaper sources. Again, the big capitalist dogs win.

      • Sredni Vashtar August 21, 2020 at 1:40 pm #

Watch Michael Moore’s “Planet of Humans”. Green energy is most a marketing scam to get free access to the forests, or engage in costly boondogles that make money for the perpetrators.

        • Majella August 24, 2020 at 3:58 am #

That movie has been debunked on SO MANY levels. Out-of-date reportage served up as if 2005 is actually2019…and so on. But don’t worry, Skorenzy – just grab hold of any ‘alternative facts’ that fit your desired narrative. It’s not like it’s a NEW thing with you, is it. (NOT a question)

      • Kim August 21, 2020 at 11:30 pm #

        @ cbeard

One more time. Green energy should supplement the traditional power sources, not replace them

        One more time:

        1) It isn’t green (meaning it isn’t renewable, or clean, and it does not have a small ecological footprint)

        2) Such “supplementation” just drives up the price because it requires the installation and maintenance of two systems instead of one.

In 1996 Australia had the cheapest and most reliable electricity in the world. It went “green”. Now it has blackouts and the most/near most expensive electricity in the world.

        3) It will never, ever, ever be able to “replace” fossil fuel energy (do what it has done as well or as cheaply and in many cases do it at all)

    • UN OUT OF USA August 21, 2020 at 5:27 pm #

    Hi Mr. Kunstler,
An interesting post for what it doesn’t say. Admittedly, the bar of low expectations is working here, but I missed your weekly invocation of Joe Biden’s state of dementia and incapacity. I guess that is because was–grudgingly for you, I expect–well done. He used his own experience to get across who he was to the American public–a fundamentally decent man who has overcome a lot in his life.

What it did, is do something that you don’t talk about much in your blog, but which is essentially if we are to survive the trials to come. Let us take you at your word, and decide that the world as we know it will end the way you suggest. How does it rebuild itself?

It rebuilds itself with a moral vision. You have made clear through the years that it is a lack of a moral vision that has led us to this point. Your readers know this and agree with you.

And yet, what the Dem Convention showed, in startling emotional clarity is the contrast between what a decent man sounds like and what a malignant narcissist such as our current Commander in Chief sounds like. There is NO moral centre to Donald Trump, apart from the profit motive–he is a pure example of homo economicus. Biden is a politician, full of platitudes for sure, but he can share some of his personal tragic experience in a human way that the current President cannot. And that is something real.

The world built by hand will require people to be able to face and share great tragedy and not be broken utterly by it. They will have to suffer and make meaning out of that suffering. They will have to find and hold onto shared PURPOSE.

The irony of your posting is that the man who is leading us towards the future you paint currently sits in the White House. There is no way forward for him that ens well for the rest of us. The attitude that will lead us through the crisis you envisage to a a world made by hand is shared by the man who spoke last night. He may be an (very) imperfect vessel and he will likely fail, but I am going to go with decency and a moral core over the vacuous profit motivated suit and red tie we currently have…

Ha, I can hear you in four years as the TLE catastrophe unfolds.

But he is such a nice guy!

Most of the effective presidents were not nice guys. Hard driven with a specific program. Nice guys finish last in DC. Kennedy, LBJ, Nixon, Clinton were tough politicians that did their job. Carter, Both Bushes were nice guys who just wanted to get along and failed. Reagan was the one exception.

Do not pray for a nice guy, pray for someone with enough guts to try to beat back the scum in DC and get the job done.

Remember December, lowest unemployment in history and best GDP growth in decades. Due to Trump policies!!

      • bluedog August 21, 2020 at 1:17 pm #

Don’t mix JFK with the rest of the dogs,Clinton was an ass and the rest were no better and Reagan set the course that destroyed the country when they started shipping all the jobs out, running up huge deficits, creating off-shore accounts so they could park their wealth safe from the tax man.

And the truth was and is the fact that employment never even got back up to where it was in 2009,and of course the so called GDP was little more then every thing dumped into it from financials to the kitchen sink, the actual GDP was somewhere between $9-$11 trillion dollars.Shadow Stats has a very good run down on just how bad the country’s off, as the Fed has been dumping all kinds of money into the market starting with Reagan and Greenspan, and went into overdrive under Trump, and of course all of that will have to be repaid by your kids, grandkid’s and their grandkid’s,now ain’t you proud.!!!….

        Who is Kakadu?

    • abcdef August 21, 2020 at 5:11 pm #

Thank you all for your replies.
      They mostly share the following:
Joe Biden? Decent? Moral? What glue have you been sniffing?

Both-side-ism, writ large. Fair enough, he is a politician, and he has his issues. He is a flawed candidate, for sure. But I think this is a false equivalence in two ways.

      1. People do not back the claim with credible evidence. like beantownbill, who in answering Goldy89’s request for evidence says: “Check on the internet, it’s everywhere.” Rumour and bullshit abound on the Internet. There is this pedophilia ring run out of a pizza shop in Washington DC, dontcha know. Some people here may believe this but there is not a shred of actual evidence; all there is bullshit–or what Goldy89 would call “a hobo stew of conjecture and collateral … rumor-mongering.” What I know is that Biden has nowhere the baggage that Trump does. As a thought experiment–Do you honestly believe that Donald Trump was not aware of and actively supporting the actions of all those people he has seen convicted and arrested connected to his campaign? Biden hasn’t been made President yet, but if he turns out as bad as Trump, then you can say: I told you so.

And cbeard–you might want to consider: “I say he is a fundamentally dishonest man who has used his political office to enrich himself and his family AND he has overcome a lot in his life” (I would add that it helps him to have compassion for the plight of others, but why quibble)’

      2. Biden will not be as effective as the current occupant if he becomes President for a whole host of reasons. I hope you don’t mind–but WTF? A smaller group of people here think the COVID is a hoax and whatever statistics offered must be pure nonsense. For the rest of us who see the death toll and say–“Holy Moly” you have to ask yourself why we are doing worse than much of the world. Sure, rugged individualists fare worse in situations that require social solidarity, but seriously. The President chose to basically ignore the threat, interfere in getting a coherent message and strategy out, and thought he knew more about it than his top experts. 170,000+ deaths later, I can’t picture Biden being worse than the President, but I can imagine someone following the science being a hell of a lot better than the current occupant. JohnAZ, niceness is, um, nice, but, it would bother me much less that President Trump has no empathy for anyone except himself if he were just competent.

I understand. Trump is “the man” for many here–placing hopes and dreams on him, seeing him as a somewhat flawed human being trying to do good but seeing him also being swamped by the “Deep State”–Mr. Kunstler’s position more or less. Me? I think he is incompetent and malignantly narcissistic. You have to have some narcissism to run for President, but Donald Trump is at an extreme that is actively dangerous for the country as a whole.

Sorry, gotta go. We are doing fire evacuation warning stuff.
      Be well all…

      • Nightowl August 21, 2020 at 5:49 pm #

        Stick around, bro.

I would be happy to discuss this in detail with you.

        Lots of fun.

      • LagingRunatic August 24, 2020 at 9:59 am #

The phrase “false equivalence” entered the public discourse around a year after Obama was elected, and its purpose was clear even at the time: to provide cover for Democratic politicians whenever they enacted the same policies as their Republican predecessors. Because of the “D” after their names, they had to be immunized from their critics on the right — and, more critically, on their left (ironically, after those same left-leaning folks had been told to hold their criticisms until *after* the elections, same). So now anytime a Democrat does something more or less indistinguishable from a Republican, the stale phrase “false equivalence” is brought out.

2020 Democratic partisans are so mindless they “think” Trump is a worse president than the asshole who let the WTC get attacked on his watch and then lied us into the Iraq War, with its 100,000 casualties. They’re the same gang of idiots who thought W. won the 2000 election due to “hanging chads,” rather than relatives in the mass media and friends on the Supreme Court. That’s how they are able to convince themselves that Trump stole an election that he actually (and clearly, like it or not) won.

No matter how much they read about manufactured consent, they continue to allow their consent to be manufactured. Pathetic.

While the Democrats may or may not control the rioters, the lack of condemnation for all this mischief is deafening. It tells me all I need to know about our city’s democratic leadership. Hobbling the police while they destroy property is outrageous. Both white and black small businesses have been destroyed and will probably never come back.
My question is “who is bailing these folks out of jail?”. They are probably back on the street before the arresting officers are heading home. I wonder how many of these criminals will show up for their court dates (if their charges are not dropped beforehand anyway). It is not much of a disincentive for violence. Mark my words, this will end in someone being beat to death in living color. It is a wonder that man in Portland was not killed.

They’re not being prosecuted. Lindsay Graham made a big deal about why these ones should be. Utterly amazing. The Deep State wants this lawlessness in order to bring us into the Reset or New Order. Barr is doing little or nothing. He seems to be hoping for a place in the New Order or at least not to be its enemy, like Trump.

Obama has been called the greatest gun salesman in history. That honor has now been shifted to the 2020 Democratic chaos. In the first 6 months of 2020 alone nearly 20 million guns have been sold. Many to first time buyers. This has led to an unprecedented run on ammo. It’s nearly impossible to find ammo online, or at retailers. The industry is currently looking at a 2 year catchup at current levels. If Biden wins, look for a further explosion in gun sales, but without ammo, it’s just an expensive paper weight

    • stelmosfire August 21, 2020 at 11:58 am #

Jigplate I can find all sorts of ammo in all calibers on line. The problem is the price gouging. 9mm for $1.30/round. I was getting it for.14/round in February.
      https://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ammo-inc.-signature-9mm-luger-115-grains-tmc-200-rounds-in-an-ammo-can-9115tmc-rb200/FC-818778020478.html

      • Jigplate August 21, 2020 at 12:46 pm #

True- price gouging is a real problem. Many would have a hard time paying those prices. The side effect of this is reduced training. Shooting is a perishable skill. I’m glad that I hand load. With prices like that, assembling rounds out of components looks like a bargain.

        • beantownbill. August 21, 2020 at 1:44 pm #

Guns are precision instruments built by trained experts. I never tried to hand-load my ammo because it needed perfect loading. Your firearm may appear to work well, but it may little by little damage it over time. I’m not criticizing you, just stating my opinion.

OTOH, at least you won’t have to worry about ammo supply in the near future. But soon it may be just as hard to get gunpowder and other cartridge parts as well. My dealer always seems to have ammo, but I’m limited to two boxes at a time. 100 cartridges a week seems to be enough to practice with, but it’s very difficult to accumulate extra. I suppose I could bite the bullet (pun intended) and pay more with on-line purchases.

          • Daddyotis August 21, 2020 at 5:14 pm #

BTB, you are correct re the rapid disappearance of reloading components, namely small pistol primers. Bullets and powder have actually been keeping up, depending on what caliber you’re reloading. Brass can just be picked up at the range.

The deterioration of large american cities scares me. The fact that they have pretty much all been run by democrats for decades, in states that have been democrats for decades is sobering.

I see more and more reports about civic breadown: rising criminality, corruption, deterioration of infrastructure, unsanitary conditions, flash mobs of shoplifters, junkies and homeless men wandering the streets, bankruptcy, daily extreme left riots, shootings, race riots, people throwing in the towel and deciding to flee. OK we knew the lights had gone out in Detroit, Baltimore or Philadelphia but now it’s everywhere. Minneapolis, Portland, Chicago, Seattle, NYC, Los Angeles, Saint-Louis, even fabled SF. If the billions of Silicon Valley are not enough to make democrat policies work, what hope is there for lesser cities?

Democrats have had decades in which to apply their policies to tackle problems of racism and homelessness and drug addiction and the more they work on a problem, the worse it gets.

Regarding shootings and homicides since the BLM riots:

      New York
Forty-nine people were shot over the course of 72 hours in NYC between Thursday and Saturday, compared to eight shooting victims over the same time period last year
Eight people were murdered—at least six by gun violence—compared to three homicides last year over those three days.

      Cincinnati
there had been 57 homicides in the city. That’s a 36.6% increase from the same period in 2019
If 2020 continues on the pace that it is, this will probably be the worst year for homicidal violence that we’ve had on record
Demographics for the 57 homicide victims are 42 black males; eight black females; three white males; and three white females. One victim was an unborn baby, and the gender and race were not identified.

Meanwhile, there have been 289 people injured in shooting incidents. That’s a 48% percent increase from the same period in 2019.
The demographics for the 289 shooting victims are 227 black males; 33 black females; 20 white males; four black[sic] females; and five identified as other
And the 2020 number is already higher than the 279 recorded in the 2015 time period, which is the most recent high
the numbers started increasing following the incident in Minneapolis where George Floyd died in police custody. That led to protests and demonstrations against police across the country, including in the Cincinnati region.

      Minneapolis
Minneapolis City Government tells residents to be ready to give up their phones and wallets and to always cooperate with criminals:
Minneapolis has experienced a 46% increase in carjackings and a 36% increase in robberies compared to this same time last year, while “Police in the city’s Third Precinct alone have received more than 100 reports of robberies and 20 reports of carjackings in just the last month,” reports Alpha News.

      St-Louis
A third person was shot and killed this weekend and several others injured in shootings as a bloody year in the city continues with no signs the violence is slowing.
There have been at least 155 homicides in St. Louis so far this year, up more than 30% from the same time last year.

      New York
New York City has had more shootings so far this year than in the whole of 2019, after another violent Saturday night tipped the scales, and seven shootings followed in the early hours of Sunday.
‘It only gets worse from here,’ said Joseph Giacalone, a retired NYPD sergeant and an adjunct professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. ‘As the shootings continue, so will retaliation. It’s a vicious cycle that the NYPD worked hard to mitigate, but that they are no longer able and in some cases willing to do’, he told the New York Post.
There were a further 10 victims reported on Sunday — including two people hit during a party in East New York. The news capped a week that averaged a murder a day, according to police sources. There were 32 shootings, leaving 36 separate victims, in the past seven days

Shots rang out Saturday night in Atlanta near the burned-down Wendy’s where Rayshard Brooks was killed last month after stealing a taser from police and firing it at them. Secoriea Taylor, an eight-year-old girl was shot dead. Young Secoriea’s father is speaking out. “They say black lives matter. You killed your own this time. You killed a child. No it doesn’t. There are vast regions that are nearly uninhabited.

The problem is a comparatively small group of very rich individuals who want all of the pie.

When you repeat things like this, you enable the global plantation.

And those vast regions are often wastelands that won’t support many people – like most of Nevada for example.

We live in 2020. No one in the West hunts buffalo to survive. We have modern transportation grids and the industrial power to produce far more food than we currently need.

There may be a point where population growth is in the red zone, but we are far from it.

The march toward the global plantation is driven by division and fear. Its masters want everything. Medicis on steroids. All that stands in their way are sovereign nation states.

James Altucher (whom I keep up with through a number of blogs) is a smart, observant, Libertarian catastrophist. Like JHK, it’s always ALMOST TEOTWAWKT…the population of Rome fell to under 30,000 once – down from over 5 million its peak around 240 AD. It’s still there – sure, both the decline & revival took a few centuries, but things move way faster now.

Unlike you, I can’t say I ever kept up with Mr Altucher. To me, the fact that he seemed like a successful, born New-Yorker who loved his city and who opened businesses there lent weight to his considerations of a permanent crisis.

If he has indeed been claiming for years that New York is about to get permanently crippled then it’s something else.

When what happened to spread the virus comes out, no one will do a thing about it. Trump has allowed himself to be a goat, that is a disappointment.

Cost containment is a conservative credo, the post office is a bureaucratic joke, bloated, corrupt and inefficient. E mail and Amazon has just about destroyed it.

It should be rebuilt from the ground up. Tying the vote to the reliability of the PO sounds like an appropriate response from the Dems, their own organization is just about as effective.

      • sophia August 21, 2020 at 3:33 pm #

The post office does a good job in my opinion, but is in to way set up to handle an election, and not because of slowness or anything like that. It’s just the nature of the beast – no controls are possible and the primaries have revealed scandal after scandal. The Dems not only want to have mail-in ballots to try to steal the election, what they actually want is even worse. They know a mail-in election will produce chaos, and from this chaos they hope to strongarm a president of their choice into place.

Unfortunately, they will have to bring in UN soldiers to keep it, because Americans will fight.

And some sleepy and silly lifelong democrats just don’t see it no matter how blatant everything becomes. In the past, it didn’t matter terribly much who won and things went along in an orderly manner. But now they hate Trump with a purple passion and have committed every treasonous crime to get rid of him; having failed that they are now willing to destroy the world, millions of lives and bring on a civil war to save their hides from prison and infamy.

A 9mm bullet from a 4 inch barrel Glock 17 at 15yrds penetrated without difficulty leaving 2″ indention of ballistic gel. 5.56 at 30 yds went thru explosively as expected and 7.62 from 100 yrds blew half the helmet away. The UN chest armor is even less protective than the helmets. Clearly for expendable moron ‘troops.’ Zero survival for the blue helmets.

Quite interesting. I remember in the past they talked about the UN soldiers coming to this country to subdue the population. A true globalist dream, no doubt. The thought was that American soldiers could not be depended to violently disarm their own people. My thought at the time was that these UN folks would die far from home.

That you think the UN troops won’t be well provided for is small comfort. Yeah I expect the home team to win but it won’t be fun. Also wonder what will happen with our own military. Will they remain loyal? Will the generals? I think so but there might be some sedition.

I tried to consider watching the convention, but I know how my stomach would react to the whole presentation, so I haven’t seen a second of it. Why punish myself?

I can’t bring myself to vote for Trump; don’t believe in voting for the lesser of two evils. Looks like my non-voting streak going back to 1968 will not be broken. The closest I came to voting was for Ross Perot. Now I’d vote for him in a second. We consistently present more inappropriate presidential candidates than the ones before. I’m telling you, vote for Daffy Duck, he would be more effective. I would do that, except I’m saving myself like a virgin for the right person to eventually come along and end my streak. But I’m running out of time. Do I die a virgin, or do I give it all up for anyone, just for the experience?

      Beantown,

Trump has done quite a number of great things. But mainly, he ran on a platform of draining the swamp and this perfectly explains the unprecedented level of constant smearing and “the resistance” which has turned revolutionary. Why should you vote for him? Because it isn’t about him and whatever little accomplishments may make it past your internal barriers. It’s about dismantling the deep state and its endless wars and financial chaos and the move toward totalitarian control that is unfolding right now. If you can’t see what the Democrats are up to you’re all but blind. They are obviously desperate and destabilized, showing their true colors and fighting for their lives. They are willing to do ANYTHING to win. They are willing to ruin this country and millions of lives.
Don’t let them. Do your part and get a little more serious.
I liked Ross Perot too, by the way and have not voted for a Dem or a Republican in 30 years. But I voted Trump and will do so again.

Sophia, I hear what you are saying, but I have serious issues about Trump. IMO, he presents a very poor image of a statesman and leader; he doesn’t speak well at all. Ultimately, that’s not relevant, but image is very important in the rest of the world.

I know he’s been constantly besieged, but he’s the US president, for God’s sake, supposedly the most powerful man in the world. He could have used that power to really drain the so-called swamp, get the border fence done and disempower the idiots like Pelosi and Schumer. But here it is over three years later and he hasn’t been able to. Of course there would be drastic civil and political consequences for him such that he would probably end up a one-term President for sure. But he would have done what he promised to do.

        • Nightowl August 21, 2020 at 5:54 pm #

        • sophia August 22, 2020 at 12:27 am #

          Beantown,

I don’t think you really understood what I said! The Democratic party has been infiltrated with Marxist globalists who want revolution. Do you want no civil rights and gulags and famine?

I was told that he presented a terrible image and was a bit of a buffoon, but never really watched him speak till lately because I have been learning via the Q movement and have now watched him speak a lot. I have no issues with his style nor does he seem dumb or anything like that, and he is far more interesting than almost any politician I have listened to because he says real things instead of evasive platitudes. He holds my attention.

As to why he hasn’t done more, there is an entire school of thought about that. First of all I do believe the plans have run into some snags as things do in the real world. Second of all the deep state is quite pervasive and it doesn’t do much good to have someone arraigned if the judge is corrupt and that sort of thing. How could he disempower Pelosi? He does things legally…and having him as a one term president would be a disaster. If those guys get into power again its curtains for us all.

As for image, you know, the rest of the world has the same crap media that we do, and hear the same crap and nonsense day after weary day that we do, but the Q movement is world wide and growing. It is called the Great Awakening and is a matter of people coming to understand the yoke that has been upon our necks for decades and centuries. People in other countries are in the Q movement as well. Yes, if you see how he avoids wars and accomplishes things with other world leaders, he is indeed a great statesman. Trump is going after the snakes who shot President Kennedy. That is his mission, and its not about bringing particular players to justice, they’re probably mostly dead, its about dismantling the cabal before the eyes of the whole world.

It’s a tall order and Trump is certainly not doing it single handedly but he’s the front man.
          All hands on deck!
I also think you don’t realize the seriousness of some issues he’s dealing with and how much time and planning it takes to dismantle the deep state. Slow and steady wins the race. He needs another term. We need him to have another term. You can’t take the bad guy in a movie and beat him up a little and then let him escape.

Just want to follow up on a point I raised in the prior blog thread:

NAACP stands for National Association for the Advancement of Colored People

This organization has been around since 1909 and has some half million members. MLK was a poobah in the NAACP from the 1950s until his assassination.

Why has there been no outcry to rename the organization the NAAPOC? The National Association for the Advancement of People of Color.

Calm protests in front of our quiet Confederate soldier demand he get moved somewhere irrelevant immediately. (He’s already behind a bush but has become a super tall lightning rod). I watched the last 10 minutes of Joe-he did fine–considering. Football is ON! ( without tailgates)-bummer. I live in a very Republican district–2 more yard signs for the Democratic candidate, maybe there are some more hopeful people than the denizens of this blog….

About Biden’s speech. I watched it and he performed well. I’ve wondered. It was presented as a live speech. Maybe. There were thousands outside watching outside on a Jumbotron. Immediately after the speech Joe and Jill walked outside onto the stage for the crowd and fireworks. Why didn’t he give the speech in front of the crowd so they could see him? Maybe this speech was recorded?

I wonder what the arrest of Steve Bannon is really all about? Steve Bannon is in tight with the anti-Chinese Communist Party crowd?

The language may start to change in Hong Kong, and there may be conspiracy theories and witch hunts?

“ The Journal de la Montagne, a semi-official paper, condemned him for making “a separate category of a more vulgar class of people, who spoke a more vulgar language,” insisting that “today, when equality has brought all men together, language should be the same for all.”27 Forced to accept the language of the educated Jacobins, however, the readers who had recognized themselves in Hébert’s pages were bound to feel alienated from the Revolution. No one had done more than the Père Duchêne to fan fears of counterrevolutionary conspiracies and betrayals by bourgeois politicians, or to encourage the punitive impulses that so often came to the surface during the Terror.

    • Robert White August 21, 2020 at 2:47 pm #

Bannon’s arrest is about the million U$D he appropriated via the shell numbered account that the forensic accountants nailed him on via Wire Fraud, Puck.

Looks to me like they got him on a honeypot trap whereby the honey is the million U$D that he appropriated via the numbered account. Moreover, the New York district DA would not advance charges if they were going to be unsuccessful in the long run.

Look at the swamp creatures from Hell that have been outed since Trump took office.

Bannon will be flipping like Cohen before the case is processed believe me.

Trump is screwed for ratings as his cabal of misfits get busted on the front page of the NYT.

Opposition research at this stage is tasked to attack as that is key to keeping opposition on the ropes too busy to plan counterattacks.

Democrat operatives know how to fight IMHO. Trump does not stand a chance in November.

Bannon has the CCP totally freaked out. He has infiltrated the fire wall in China and is now reaching millions of people. What was he doing on that yacht? Working on a new constitution for China and a strategy to help the people remove the CCP and free themselves as slaves.

I watched the convention on NPR primarily, when NPR showed pre-recorded segments, a disclaimer in the top left corner said DNC Video. When they were live, there was no disclaimer. The Biden speech had the video tag on it. Other stations did not differentiate video from live feeds. It is possible the Biden speech was pre-recorded.

Then you have roving gangs of different ethnic and religious ‘reparations’ claims breaking into civilian homes in what we might call loosely suburbs or urbs raping and pillaging, and then warlords grabbing up the MRIs being dropped by the ‘un.’ The younger women were en mass selling themselves for a an hour or a night for packets of soup mix or seasoning for rice and noodles, and sometimes for ammo. • neurodoc August 22, 2020 at 10:50 am #

An N95 or N100 NIOSH certified mask (what we wear in procedures, surgery, around patients, etc) is highly effective for viral protection in and out, and is very different from what most people seem to be wearing. N95s are costing between $5 and $20 each and can be worn multiple times if you’re trained in use and care and decon. And I don’t include the so called ‘KN95″ masks from chicomms, they’re likely useless at best. I’m seeing people wearing what appears to be scarves or just cloth, sometimes ornate. ALL USELESS for them but they do appear to prevent SOME spread FROM them. FYI

      • Sredni Vashtar August 22, 2020 at 2:27 pm #

The Virus is much smaller than the N95 mesh. Luckily it has no aerosol capacity and has to hitch a ride on water droplets. Thus the salient questions become: How small are said droplets? And even if stopped by the mask, what happens once the droplets adhering to the outside of the mask begin to dry out? I assume the virus is then freed and can be either sucked in by the wearer or blown away.

Someone needs to do a movie about the adventures of a Coronavirus. Maybe kids could pretend they were viruses. At one of the early Globalist Planning Conferences, they gave Covid plush toys to atttendees.

Most virologists would not agree with you regarding the size of virus vs N95 ‘mesh.’; there’s much more to an N95 than the size of your so called ‘mesh.’ There is also carbonized material in the respirator section. Also the virus is definitely aerosolized ( see March/April NEJM study). Finally, it’s not the size of the virus but the size of the mucous cells the virus commandeers.

What, BTW, is your medical education?

In Portland, Antifa and BLM mobs marching thru residential neighborhoods after midnight, pounding on drums and blowing bugles, shouting “Wake Up Mtherf#kkrs” thru electronic bullhorns, shining lights and lasers into windows … every once in a while one would shout ” We will burn your house down”, and “Give us your house” … that sort of thing, designed to win hearts and minds, haha, no police in sight these beleagured citizens appear to be on their own, rioters incognito dressed in black, their faces covered, wielding homemade shields and sharpened PVC … appears to be mixed blacks and whites in the rabble, with a surprising number of young white girls, tattooed and overweight. Yes KK, honest citizens who had to get up in a few hours and go to work. There might have been a few frightened people inside those houses too, mothers alone with young children, peering out thru drawn curtains at the angry mob out on the street. And finally, eventually there will be the paranoid homeowner with an itchy trigger finger, a carbine, and a bucket full of fresh rounds. That’s where these provocations will eventually lead.

I agree. Something is going to happen somewhere if that crap continues. I was right in the middle of the riots here in West Hollywood, they were two short blocks from my apartment. I wasn’t frightened, the protestors were looting sneaker stores on Fairfax and Melrose (lol) but if I were living on a quiet street and hoards of armed “protestors” (or merely unarmed with loud speakers) marched by I’d be quite alarmed and pissed. I walked past a cannibis/cupcake dispensary on Melrose today. Hundreds of mostly black people in line on the sidewalk and many of them looked at me with hatred. I could tell because they were not wearing face masks. I like wearing a mask at times because I can sneer at people and they can’t see me doing it

KK, we have an old friend who has lived in West Hollywood for around 40 years. We’ve visited her many times. She lives on North Kings Rd, near the corner of Santa Monica Blvd, about a block or so from Hugo’s Restaurant, where we’ve eaten many, many times (we loved their pasta ala mama and used to bring it home on our plane trip back). I’m very familiar with that immediate area although we haven’t visited for several years. I think it was a Belsen’s on the corner.

Beans: I live one block away from Hugo’s/Kings Rd. Gelson’s is my grocery store. Anyway, re my post, I certainly understand the desire to get high and eat cupcakes at 11:00 in the morning. If I were 23, Black, without money, undereducated and lacking basic grammar skills and trying to survive in a collapsing economy during a pandemic I would feel hopeless and engage in all kinds of destructive behavior also, I would imagine. However, there was an indolence in yesterday’s Melrose crowd that I found annoying. Or maybe disturbing. I question whether I’ve become racist toward black people. I mean, can’t they do something with their hair? Do they have to wear those horrible dangling dreadlocks? I saw a woman with flies crawling thru her dreadlocks a few weeks ago. I kid you not. The look is sloppy, dirty and demonstrates laziness quite frankly. On the other hand I see white people walking around covered in tattoos and piercings and all I can think is White Trash. So, I guess I am a judgmental, equal opportunity racist—-and I’m OK with that.

I’d love to see the antifa and blm morons come into small town midwest and rural areas; they appear to stay in shit hole areas like seattle, portland, nyc and chicago, where few people have firearms or even know how to use them. Buckshot yields long lasting memories and very strong avoidance behavior, if and only if, one survives. ( Buckshot wounds act like wet paper when you’re trying to tie off bleeders and suture, and nerves of all sizes are literally shredded……life long PAIN).

Went for a haircut (no need to schedule here). My barber is a thirtyish black male with a long, well kept Muslim type beard. We rarely converse but that day he opined that “ Bad times coming”. He’d been conversing with friends/relatives in Richmond, Danville, Emporia. Distant drums speaking.
The coming depression will at first exacerabate the societial schism, possibly along racial lines but NOT a given. Location will have a hugh impact therein. I do not believe it is remotely possible to fathom the scenes played out in various localities but the melding of viable defense groups of a multi-racial character is high on my probability spectrum. I suggest one range 100 yards at various points of the compass with your house center dot. Practice the tradecraft while running full, increasingly bad juju scenarios.

Nah, Muslims are on the side of the Blacks. East Coast Hispanics too. A few Mexicans, but most of them and the Central Americans will be their own thing. Whites, and maybe some East Asians, against the dark ones. Hindus too? Maybe. But Whites will lead. After all, this our Civilization. Jews are with the Blacks, natch, the secret force behind the Grievance Coalition. And of course feral liberal White sickos too.

Sredni, you’re letting your hatred get in the way of your logic. I’m a Jew and I’m not on the Blacks side, and most of the Jews I know aren’t either. Of course there are some that are, in the same proportion as the rest of the populace. If you were smart, you’d try to get as many allies as possible for the coming fireworks.

Yes, the Pyramid is very steep, is it not? And greased with some kind of substance, so very slippery. One may think they are near the capstone, only to slip down to near the bottom. Look at poor Stacy Abrams. Watch out, she is sliding down!

The Jews raised up the Blacks in South Africa too – only to have to flee when their proteges attained power. Check out Ilsa Mercer’s “Out of the Cannibal’s Pot”. She admits that her Rabbi Father was wrong in helping to overthrow White South Africa.

Nothing in between those few and the Jewish masses? Wrong. A huge cadre of highly educated, high IQ professionals who hate America and have ever since they got here.

As Fred Reed said, They don’t assimilate. Instead they try to assimilate their hosts. Sure they’ll wave the flag – as long as we’re willing to go and fight in the Middle East. Do you not know about the Neo-Cons? Now in control of both parties?

          • sophia August 22, 2020 at 6:16 pm #

            Sredni,

I did not mean to imply that the only Jews who seem to want to destroy our culture (odd since they are actually within it) are in media. Yes, there are neocons. Yes, there are zionists which I mostly don’t approve of. Not all the high IQ professionals are bad, though. I keep my eyes out for good ones and I see them in the public eye doing good all the time. I’m pretty sure most people, including the Jewish masses, absolutely do not want the horrible results that will come if this attempted coup/sedition succeeds.
There does seem to be an effort of many decades now to ruin wholesomeness, and extreme feminism and sexual libertinism goes along with it, the absolutely disgusting things that are available for children to watch on TV now for example, and I do note that a number of these extreme feminists are Jewish. A lot of professors are Jewish and the academics have become increasingly liberal and leftist of the past 50 years. I am not sure the cause of this. It’s an interesting question. It may be connected to a loss of interest in religion.
In any case, I have many thoughts on feminism, as I am becoming more of an antifeminist every day.
Perhaps the IQ is actually the problem, as I am in absolute aghast horror at how my old hippie friends are totally buying the leftist Democratic party propaganda now matter how increasingly absurd and obviously false it becomes. Their at least somewhat higher than average IQs are doing them no good whatsoever. But the local hillbillies are seeing through the morass. As to the hippies, a couple are Jewish but most are WASPS.

Once again a Doctor, an actual and active hospital practicing Doctor tells the real story as to what is happening with regards to COVID 19:

“No over-run hospitals, no mass deaths beyond a typical flu season in Spain….

The media in Madrid, Spain accidentally proved the entire “COVID-19” pandemic is nothing of the sort. No hospitals are over-run, no mass deaths beyond a typical flu season, deceptive numbers from government about “cases” versus sick people.

The interview below is with a Doctor at a major hospital in Madrid, the capital of Spain. The sub-titles tell the story….

    https://robinwestenra.blogspot.com/2020/08/no-over-run-hospitals-no-mass-deaths.html

    • neurodoc August 22, 2020 at 11:11 am #

Everyone needs to understand that COVID is not a single unitary entity; there are many mutations and strains that yield different illness patterns (i.e. morbidity and mortality) in different regions and, for sure, in different countries. Also, there are ethnic and regional differences in immunity patterns. It doesn’t matter what happens in Spain, Somalia, Brazil or Russia; what matters is what’s happening in your state and your region of your state; maybe your county. Medical studies almost always reflect the sample population around a single clinic or hospital.

Sanity prevails. Just as many MDs state conservative positions as those that state release the beast.

Do you remember NY and NJ? If it had not been for Trump and the Feds bailing out NY, it would have been the disaster that people fear now.

Everywhere this beast has been released from its cage, a surge has occurred, exponential in nature. As of today, a little more than 5% of the public has gotten the crud. Whether in surge form or flattened, 75% of the public must get it to kick in herd immunity. Now, all you anti-maskers,tell us where you are going to hide when the crud comes after you. Throw a catch the crud party? Go for it, we may not have to put up with you any more.

Well, I believe that here where I am the reporting about COVID 19 is indeed overblown, or greatly exaggerated. Just like in Madrid, according to the Spanish doctor.

Okay, that being said, you probably didn’t watch the video so I’ll give you a brief rundown….

The doctor did say that the situation with COVID 19 was indeed dire this past early spring. His issue with the media is that they are reporting the pandemic in Spain as being at crisis levels right now. He said that this is just not the situation on the ground right now at all. Then he listed out examples and data to back his viewpoint up. Since he is a practicing doctor in a major Hospital I think he knows what he’s talking about. He’s living it.

Now, he also took issue with the media in Spain for not reporting the situation this past spring as being as critical as it was. So his beef was that when the pandemic was roaring in Spain several months ago the media dropped the ball, and for now reporting it as being very dire and critical.

““No over-run hospitals, no mass deaths beyond a typical flu season in Spain….”

From a cursory hearing of that footage, the guy was indeed saying that there are no over-run hospitals NOW. I don’t see anyone arguing with that. He specifically says it’s not like it was in the spring. Don’t we all know that already?

Peak excess mortality comparisons for Europe may be found here:

“Looking at major cities, the highest peak excess mortality was in Madrid at 432.7% (week ending 27 March) […].”

      • cc rider August 22, 2020 at 7:44 pm #

Ha! I just got though pointing out that he said this past spring it was bad, and that now it is not. His beef with the Spanish media is for how they are reporting it right now, and for how they reported it several months ago. Look about to see my reply to neurodoc.

        • GreenAlba August 23, 2020 at 6:34 am #

I actually agree with you about the current reporting, where it is overblown.

I don’t want to know how many ‘new cases’ there are – all I’m interested in at this stage is how many end up in critical care, die, and/or are left with serious organ damage.

And I don’t think there should be any further lockdowns here (what you guys do is your own affair) except very local ones (e.g. a factory or school with a specific problem), not even whole towns, as is happening periodically in England.

I don’t even think there should be further lockdowns if the thing kicks off again in the autumn. I’d have gone for a 4-week lockdown in the UK in the spring, but it should have started much earlier than it did. We still had Spanish football crowds coming to Liverpool while the virus was ravaging Madrid. Johnson unfortunately mirrored Trump in his dealings with the virus. Too little too late, then too much. And the testing ‘infrastructure’ has been a shambolic joke.

My observation of real life around me tells me that most people are pretty sensible. They all stick a mask on to go into a shop or on to a bus, and keep a distance from other shoppers when they can. And 95% of them whip the mask off as soon as they get out. Nobody seems to be making a song and dance about it. And there are notices in the supermarkets advising people that some of their co-shoppers have conditions that make it inappropriate for them to wear a mask, so basically, leave them alone.

The fallen soldier has no ram to take his place.”???

Instantly recognizable are the portraits of sheep that became Kadishman’s artistic trademark; his “flock” is spread across the world, from Tel Aviv to Japan and Costa Rica. In 1978, he presented one of the first “Art and Life” installations when he led a herd of live sheep which he marked in blue into the Israeli pavilion at the Venice Biennale (he called it “a moving painting”).

I Googled a question about Kamala Harris and within the many answers was this paragraph:

One important part of her backstory is her biracial African American and Indian-American identity she inherited from her parents, Shyamala Gopalan and Donald Harris, who both immigrated to the United States (from India and Jamaica, respectively) to pursue doctorate degrees at the University of California, Berkeley.

Personally I can’t conceive of or justify the use of African American or Indian American as descriptors for Kamala Harris. I would prefer African Jamaican and Asian Indian.

Nevertheless, by our laws she is a US citizen.

Of course the ridiculousness of the Democrats’ moral preening is apparent with just a cursory look at history. They were instrumental in leading America and much of the formerly prosperous western world to the mess it’s in now with Bill Clinton’s shepherding Mexico into NAFTA and China into the WTO. They were silent as can possibly be while tens of thousands of American factories and tens of millions of American livelihoods upped sticks to Mexico and China, they lauded this new era of open open borders, which meant of course that their paymasters, the claque of billionaires that run things, as well as millions of desperately impoverished people treated US borders as if they didn’t exist. And Bill skilfully neglected to regulate derivatives, taking financial interests to mind and ignoring the greater good. “Money talks” as they say, and never more so than when Wall Street’s bestie repealed Glass Steagall.

As for that empty-suit that tragically occupied the Oval Office during that critical time when Wall Street should have been brought to heel, he failed in his mission utterly, continuing the failed policies of his predecessors, studiously avoiding prosecuting the financial malefactors that brought the formerly great republic to its knees.

Does history repeat first as tragedy and then as farce, or the other way round? Hardly matters does it? Biden is as unfit as the present burbling incoherence that cannot get it through his coif that what he sez and how he sez it matters, not more so than what he does, but it still matters. China was handed on a platter American know-how, money and productive capacity to the great detriment of the US and the vast majority of its people and Democrats were at the forefront, a spectacular and historic dereliction.

Not a surprise at all. Democrats hate the patriotic America, the America that wants to be no.1 and help the world progress.

The power freaks have a problem here. No way of acquiring more power. To acquire more, they have to get on the globalist bandwagon. Their goal is not to make America better, it is to make America smaller and weaker for international brownie points. They enjoin all domestic groups that want to tear the US down. They import millions of illegals to weaken our labor pool. They send manufacturing overseas with exorbitant taxes to fund the illegal influx. Then they have the audacity to say to our university group they are doing this out of the goodness of their hearts.

This is the biggest lie, the biggest con game in world history. They are almost there. Their globalist grifting has just about succeeded with the American public. That have succeeded in bringing into the American nation enough socialistic grifters to swing the basic demographics of the nation.

Here is the rub. The American public put these traitors in place. The gimme culture waxes as the 20th century American nation wanes.

But why martial law? For what purpose? This coincides neatly with Uncle Joe announcing that he would most definitely shut the entire country down again if “the scientists told him too”. Also, as the alleged virus numbers slow and decline he feels it necessary for the entire nation to have a mask mandate.

      • GreenAlba August 22, 2020 at 12:39 pm #

Did you check if martial law had actually been declared before asking ‘why martial law?’, then asserting what this true or false claim neatly coincides with?

So basically what we do know is that the New Zealand government is committed to total lockdown or de facto martial law if it “becomes necessary”. And you also verified that New Zealand’s military no less is involved in the “covid response”. The military is hunting the virus? Quit being so normie and please think outside the designated boxes. The ultimate destination is that you will not be allowed to walk outside without their digital vaccine stamp.

Auckland is already in a three-day alert level 3 lockdown. The rest of the country is already observing alert level 2 protocol. The idea that the Government would hold off on announcing crucial public health information – a planned transition to alert level 4 – simply not to spark “a panic”, does seem a little illogical.

Alert level 4 is not unknown, uncharted territory – we’ve done it before, and if necessary, we’ll do it again.

            and from web,

            What a surprise.

But SSL, I’m intrigued to know which of the 140 vaccines currently in development will be ‘digitally stamped’?

I suppose you want me to do all of your research for you? I would imagine Bill Gates already has a patent on the system somewhere. You really should look into it.

          • GreenAlba August 23, 2020 at 6:05 am #

“I suppose you want me to do all of your research for you?”

Yes. If you are asserting that ‘the vaccine’ is going to be digitally stamped, then it is entirely up to you to declare to which specific vaccines you are referring. A list of all of them is available online, along with their current testing stage – I have ‘done all of your research for you’ in the past and posted it.

As I mentioned, there are around 140 in development. Let’s say three quarters of them don’t pass muster and we’re left with 35 functioning vaccines. It remains up to you to PROVE which ones (a) Bill Gates has any involvement with and (b) are digitally stamped.

          • GreenAlba August 23, 2020 at 6:17 am #

I am also aware of the patent, and of its declared purpose, with regard to countries where reliable paper records of people’s medical interventions remain a fantasy.

As I mentioned before, I also recall the cloning of Dolly the Sheep in the 90s, at the Roslin Institute (part of Edinburgh University). If you’re really into conspiracy theories, the village of Roslin can also offer you the Rosslyn Chapel, beloved of barmy Dan Brown fans.

There will be paperwork for that cloning too. CT fans at the time warned of cloned babies, cloned armies, cloned slave gangs. Real Boys from Brazil stuff.

After a few sensational articles in the Noos, people moved on to the next thing. And Dolly just died, as you’d expect.

            SSL:
‘ And you also verified that New Zealand’s military no less is involved in the “covid response”. The military is hunting the virus? ’

Is this a BAD thing? Weren’t you, not so long ago, wondering why the US Military couldn’t be used to keep those horrendous, germ & crime infested ‘caravans’ out?

Since the initial Level 4 lockdown was lifted, the only new COVID cases were found in citizens & permanent residents returning home, who were put in isolation (in hotels) until tested twice over 14days, then released, Orin quarantine (again in hotels) if positive until they were disease free.

There were always some numpties who tried to escape quarantine, but police rounded them up pretty effectively.

Some 30,000 people have returned under these restrictions since end of April. The country had managed 102 days with no known community transmission, until this new cluster arose.

The origin of this new cluster is not yet known, but it was quite likely from someone who’d been through isolation and either had a false negative test or may have had the second (Day 12) omitted…all systems have flaws & weaknesses.

The effect of the Level 3 response in Auckland and Level 2 in the rest of the country, is not welcome, naturally. Such an outbreak was logically expected at some time.

In any case, there was quite a lot of pressure -from the media, not the cynical, pissant Parliamentary Opposition – that the border controls were weak, run by private security firms, and they were right.

Now Isolation & Quarantine is run by an Air Commodore and the NZ Defence Force is used to manage security at these dedicated hotels.

No-one’s carrying a fucking GUN, SSL.

Spreading lies – who’d thought it???

      https://www.aap.com.au/bill-gates-wasnt-in-new-zealand-this-year-and-those-microchip-claims-have-already-been-debunked/

’ The May 30 Facebook post says: “Yesterday morning on tv it was mentioned that New Zealand is a perfect country to test and trial the COVID-19 vaccine. This is because of our low spread rate and our position being surrounded by the ocean. This would also explain one of the reasons Bill Gates is currently in our country.

“They said on the radio 2 days ago that we may not be able to travel overseas anymore unless we have the vaccine.

“I read that Bill Gates’ ultimate goal is to microchip the vaccine so that you can be tracked and traced while moving ‘safely’ within society. Another reason, apparently, is so that it gives the millions of people around the world without an official ID a virtual ID.”

However a spokesperson for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation told AAP FactCheck that Mr Gates was not in New Zealand in May.

“Bill has not travelled to New Zealand in 2020,” the spokesperson said in an email.’

          • Kim August 23, 2020 at 2:10 am #

“will not be able to buy or sell” without the mark of the beast, is the reference. So for example one would not be able to have a bank account unless vaccinated. Or enter a shop. Or travel overseas. Or transact in general.

We have already seen many such restrictions applied in China with the social credit score.

So there is no reason for thinking it can’t happen in NZ. After all, didn’t Jacinda Adern cut her political teeth heading an international communist-front organization?

Isn’t NZ now a top-down, security state where Jacinda has been attempting to rule by decree? Even the supine whores of the NZ Supreme Court saw that, for all the good it did people.

            Tyranny now rules in NZ.

Funny, I ordered these checks recently, from Walmart in New Braunfels, and at the same time I was reading Frederick Law Olmsted’s ‘Texas Journey’ about a walking trip he took thru Texas in 1854 with his brother, where he writes extensively about New Braunfels, he was so impressed with it. It was a new town at the time, founded by German immigrants.

        I’ll bet it’s still a nice town.

We would buy German sausage and picnic down at the river…dad fished while we swam…until we found the river was full of leaches…brother and sister cried as we pulled them off.

    • beantownbill. August 22, 2020 at 9:15 pm #

      Sophia,

      Must have missed it.

      Ok, here goes:

As President, Trump is the-commander-in-chief, right? He is the boss of the military. He can order them to do something. He could have declared illegal en masse immigration as an invasion, which it is, and employed the military to handle it, not by military action, but by ordering them to build a wall, a defensive strategy. With an annual budget approaching $1T, they could have afforded to pay the $15 or $20 billion dollars it would take to get the wall up.

Trump said he would drain the so-called swamp. He’s no dummy, but what did he do? He hired multiple swamp dwellers to run his administration’s operations.

Maybe I shouldn’t have used the word “disempower”. Maybe I should have said to make them ineffective. The whole, 2 year Mueller farce could have been shut down. Yeah, people would scream. Big deal. They are always screaming at him. Pelosi and Schumer would become apoplectic. He could have had them arrested for sedition. There’d have to be a trial and they’d have to defend themselves, instead of the other way around. The reality is, Pelosi and Schumer and others really did commit sedition. That would have effectively been shut down. Instead, he allowed them to walk all over him. Better to have some of the public think he is a nasty dictator that they hate, rather than hate him for being a fool.

Finally, he hasn’t handled the COVID-19 pandemic well. Not believing in the efficacy of masks is a matter of opinion, but when he said it was no big deal after thousands died of it, well, that was a big mistake. And going along with multi-trillion dollar government bribery programs has put the final nail in the economy’s coffin.

      I could go on, Sophia.

My point is that Trump, as well as Biden, shouldn’t be the next president. And that’s why I don’t vote.

      • SoftStarLight August 23, 2020 at 3:08 am #

Yep I couldn’t agree more. He should have just went nuclear on the Elite. But he is so worried about everyone loving him instead. And that ego has cost him for sure. But I simply cannot agree that Trump and Biden are relative at this point. Clearly the Elite hate Trump so he isn’t one of them and therefore we have to keep him there. Otherwise its a guarantee that the puppet masters will be in charge. That is actually an important distinction.

        • beantownbill. August 23, 2020 at 12:30 pm #

That would be a distinction if that were the case, but I suspect Trump may well be in the bag for the elite to provide the appearance of an opposition. As I said, Trump is no dummy, so why has he done so many things that have benefitted them?

Maybe I’m just being paranoid, but with the fate of the nation at stake, I’d toss Trump and Biden and get someone better. I don’t believe in political parties either, so I don’t care what party a candidate is from as long as they can solve the real problems facing us (like that is going to happen). Anyway, I’m still not going to vote unless a miracle candidate appears.

By the way, my parents were die-hard Democrats, as many working class Jewish people were at that time. My father told me my mother cried and cried when FDR died. I remember my mother telling me Eisenhower was a bad person when he was running. Naturally, I grew up thinking of myself as a Dem. But when I grew up as a young adult, I realized it was all bullshit, and now I am neither D or R, which is why I haven’t voted since 1968. When my parents got very old (around 90 or so) they accused me of being a Republican, as if I just signed my soul away to the devil. LOL.

          • sophia August 23, 2020 at 1:02 pm #

            Beantown,

If you don’t see that the Dem party at THIS point in history, and also many of the Republicans are sold out to the deep state, and that the deep state is the kind of cabal that brings about revolution, then I can’t help you. I mean, it has become so frankly obvious. The media utterly supports and covers for months of rioting from an organization founded on Marxism and still run by Marxists who avow to ruin the nuclear family. Problem is, the nuclear family is the human norm just as lions and wolves and horses have a family norm for their species. So what does that mean? It means it is evil on a very deep level, a psychic level of human destruction.

Don’t vote then, but at least be clear.

My husband’s grandmother, born about 1902, lived through famine in the USSR three times.
            This is no joke.
You still think its a joke.
So far, Trump has solved problems that have gone on unabated for decades by all other administrations.

          • sophia August 23, 2020 at 1:03 pm #

Oops, I didn’t mean psychic in the metaphysical sense, but rather “of the psyche.”

          • SoftStarLight August 23, 2020 at 2:25 pm #

That is funny lol! Especially since you were not even voting in the first place. My parents are both Republicans but I am registered as an Independent/No-Party. Well you know Bill the fate of the nation is definitely on the line. I too wish that my perfect candidate existed but that just isn’t what is happening. I can understand what you are saying about Trump. I personally don’t think he is a part of the Elite but I do think he has been unable to neutralize them in part because of poor choices and because so many of them are literally burrowed into the governnent machine. He isn’t ideal by any means but he is a better choice IMO because the other side is advocating for the abolition of of the entire existing country, history, and culture and that will lead to some really tragic outcomes. You may rethink sitting this one out?

OK, Beantown, thanks for that. I am really not sure how to answer because I just don’t know exactly what he can and cannot do.

I’m also aware of the human tendency to always rationalize something that one wants to support. But I do think that taking down the deep state is a far larger issue than you might think.

For one example, the southern district of New York has been a bottleneck holding back trials that should have happened already. That may have recently changed but look at that judge who is single-handedly and against every precedent holding up the exoneration of Flynn. To break up the deep state when it has judges, police chiefs, mayors, governors, FBI and etc, etc, all running things is no simple task.
Also, one of the tenets of the Q movement is that the people need to see. It’s not a matter of accusing Pelosi of sedition and being rid of her. As all of this has played out it has made millions of people aware of what has been going on. For example, the assassination of JFK. Many or most Americans were never comfortable with the standard explanation, but what can they do? There has been a simmering dissatisfaction and suspicion on the part of the people, but the true
ghastliness of our situation has needed to be brought to light.

This is not about Trump. It is about the American people and the world’s people.

        Hope I’m right.

Which state do you think will be the first to put people in jail for not taking the covid vaccine?

    • cc rider August 22, 2020 at 8:14 pm #

I’m going to predict that no state will put people in jail for not taking the vaccine.

      • SoftStarLight August 22, 2020 at 8:37 pm #

I hope your prediction comes true. Business owners and pastors have been jailed for violating shutdown orders and businesses and homes apparently have had their utilities shut off for the same so….

        • cc rider August 22, 2020 at 11:06 pm #

There are more effective ways to mandate vaccines than a threat of jail. Right now well over fifty percent of a polled segment of the population has said that they do not plan to take it. That’s just too many to jail. Certainly not cost effective for one thing.

Now making it a mandate that you cannot fly without the vaccine is doable. Or that you cannot attend major events of any kind. Or go to school. Or do this job, or do that job. Etc….

Oh, or shop at a grocery store or dine at a restaurant. I think you get the drift.

I’m glad I gave you a good laugh but I know you get my drift too :-). I definitely understand your point that various restrictions can be used to try to get people to get vaccinated. As the economic activity of the unvaccinated is restricted what system will be used to validate who has had the vaccine and who hasn’t? How will the managers handle those who have no intentions of assimilating into the new regime? Well since society is digital and quickly becoming cashless Microsoft is doing this.

“Well since society is digital and quickly becoming cashless Microsoft is doing this.”

Says the person who said on a previous thread that she never uses cash anyway.

This is what I don’t understand. Some people just seem to like bleating about every conspiracy theory under the sun. Others of us just ACT like things matter, without an audience, so we’ve used cash routinely for years.

The two things I specifically don’t understand are:

            1. Why haven’t you been using cash up until now?

            2. If you don’t use cash anyway, why is it even important to you?

Personally, I’ve kept on using cash all these years, even though I had a contactless card (which I never used for contactless payments) because I don’t like banks telling me what to do. It’s my money and I’ll spend it in the format I choose. Within reason. I’m currently using my contactless card as a courtesy to the small shops where I mostly get my everyday shopping. I will go back to using cash, on a ‘use it or lose it’ basis, in due course.

          • SoftStarLight August 23, 2020 at 2:07 pm #

My overall point is simply that things will go more cashless and digital (its inevitable basically unless society collapses or an asteroid hits the planet), and as this medical tracking system gets underway there is already technology being developed that ties in your bank account to your biometrics. This type of a system could easily be used to financially control or penalize people based on any biometrics or health data. This is not to speak of the social credit system that has been implemented in China and of which some version or versions will be implemented in Western countries. Don’t think for one second our managers don’t envy the absolute authority the CCP wields in China in this regard.

“[…] unless society collapses or an asteroid hits the planet […]”

I’d go for society collapsing, but that’s just me. And at that point I won’t be worrying about the cashless society. I’ll be worrying about random young men whacking me over the head with a blunt instrument to get the last few quid in my purse. In cash.

Greg’s guest at USA Watchdog today is the redoubtable Catherine Austin Fitts.

Worth watching, especially her discussion of the TPTB planning behind the covid plandemic, the financial reset that we are currently undergoing (The global economy is currently undergoing maintenance and is temporarily unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience.) the many uses and the profitability of public rioting, and the rise of private security to replace public policing.

It turns out that The Long Emergency has been named by JHK very well indeed as the name implies an extended multi-decade historical, elite-managed condition that allows for

    – the seizure and/or total control of all private wealth and productivity and

    – the organization of totalitarian control of humans and the controlled reduction of their levels of consumption and their numbers

all under the auspices of an endless public safety panic.

The resulting falls in life expectancies and populations in the US over the next ten years will be absolutely spectacular.

The Five Horsemen Of The Apocalypse are now on the trail.

I say five horsemen because I regard drug addiction as one of the plagues, along with war, famine, pestilence and death.

She opines that there is a lot of trial-and-error at the level of this elite planning (that is to be expected) and observes that high-level trial-and-error results in lots of confusion at ground-level.

That’s normally a concession to book sales. I’ve read countless authors who do the same thing; describe the totally intractable problem in exhausting detail at great length and then walk it all back and undermine their entire premise in the final chapter with a falsely optimistic solution, I assume at the behest of their publishers. Highly dishonest. Can also be a sign of a skilled propagandist.

Phew, the local TV news in the Hartford area, wall to wall Covid hysteria (interspersed with the latest fiery auto wreck or spectacular gunfight in New Haven) I can see why people are freaked out. You’d think the Black Plague has descended upon us; in reality, fewer than 5000 dead, 2/3 of those people over 80 in retirement homes. There is no better way to report this story? This so called ‘lockdown’ was supposed to last 2 weeks, here we are going on 5 months. Is it a permanent state of affairs? Suppose this virus percolates around here for years or new viruses appear in the future? Will we be in terminal lockdown, forever? Finally, it’s odd in a state like Ct, where lefty Dems run the whole show, how supposedly independent, private news organizations become the propaganda arm of the party, regurgitating whatever line they are fed, without question.

    • benr August 23, 2020 at 8:58 am #

Whats even more odd is how many people are little toady lickspittles that also propagate the latest talking point data.
We now have a nation of Karens scared to death of everything.

Three different outings yesterday for a trip up into the hinterlands of San Diego wife got a subway sub and some weirdo was in their screaming about cookies and a water cup calling all the women sweetie and cussing at the young counter ladies. To the point she called me as I walked in I assessed not one “man” in the place and thought this could get ugly fast. Funny I walked in he took one look at me and scurried off. The manager of the Subway comped our sub.

Since we had the dog in the car she then went into the local Smart and Final store for some drinks and watched some lady flipping out on people about coming within six feet of her screaming and yelling.

Finally having had enough of people she decided at the gas station to just stay in the car while I went in to pay for some gas and one of the customers decided to whip it out and urinate on the gas pump next to his car. Mind you the guys wife was in the car next to him.

We finally wound up in the mountains about twenty miles away from the nearest paved road and had the heavens open up and pour down at least 1″ inch rain causing the temps to plummet from 90 degrees to 71 in about ten minutes then back up to 88 when the rain stopped. Not a soul in site anywhere nor any cell signal having lunch on top of a mountain.
Every lizard around was out sunning themselves after getting rained on and the local hawks were picking them off as fast as they could.

The dog was bouncing around chasing lizards until she was exhausted.
The only sounds to be heard was the thunder off in the distance, quails and my dog panting.
Sometimes we need to take stock of our surroundings and change them for our own sanity.

            ==========

Yes, we know, benr. It could not be any more frigging obvious.

For me it’s the lack of punctuation, like the use of a period or question mark at the end of a sentence, that really sets my teeth on edge.

          • Majella August 23, 2020 at 3:33 pm #

            Indeed.

Riddle me this, benr – what is the intention of each of these two statements?

            “ Let’s eat grandma!”
            and
            “Let’s eat, grandma!”

A simple comma changes meaning entirely. To decline to use a commonly agreed standard is laziness and rude. If it’s due to a lack of knowledge, then you could choose to learn it, but there are occasions when your grammar IS correct. I find myself wondering where you’ve c&p’ed from.

        Nice report from SoCal Ben.

Loaded the pickup, drove down to E Haddam, to the grounds of Goodspeed Opera House on the Connecticut River. E Haddam, a lovely river town with a rotating steel bridge built in 1913, its main street dating back to the 1820s. Say what you want about Yankees, they knew how to build a town. Temp about 85°F, a cool breeze blowing, the air translucent, the 300 yard wide river shimmering, and a parade of boats passing by flying massive ‘Trump’ flags off their stern. I was fishing at the pier behind the theater, struck up a conversation with an elderly gentleman who said he had been the Executive Officer of the carrier USS Kitty Hawk at one time. I didn’t run into any crazies today, try to keep my head down and avoid them at all costs. I’m still enjoying life despite being surrounded by all the bullsh#t.

The MC1 I am not familiar with…my inclusive knowledge of the industry ended about 1985 when I retired from the business. I would suspect it is probably as good as any. I DID, however, spend about half a day in the Mossberg factory when it was in Connecticut…definitely old school manufacturing at the time.

Ah, maybe we crossed paths, almost …

I have my own little story about Mossberg. My daughters husbands family own a manufacturing plant, employs a few hundred people making aircraft parts for the defense industry, little while back they hired 2 mechanical engineers from Mossberg, which is right down the road. One afternoon I got talking to them, being curious how I could get a Model 500 pump with an extra barrel and 3 chokes for less than $300 (price I paid at Dicks) They told me it’s due to their Eagle Pass facility in West Texas, which is right on the border with Mexico, but the actual factory where the parts are made is actually inside Mexico, on the other side of the border. He said if the same gun was made totally in North Haven it would cost over $600. I believe final assembly and inspection is in N Haven, tho.

Lockdowns are totally unnecessary unless you are a Blue State trying to get rid of Trump.

Lockdowns originated in China. They are put in place when folks do not seem to understand that social distancing slows down the contagion. If you look at the states new cases, the A/C, beach surge has finally simmered down but now the Midwest is accelerating a little. The daily quantities everywhere are still uncomfortably high. I sure hope the vaccine works, as it seems to be the only solution the “scientists” are coming up with. We still need a virus killer.

Did you hear about the latest TDS story. An asteroid about the size of a refrigerator has a chance of striking earth the second of November. I would imagine the Dems are trying to figure out how to blame it on Trump.

I’ve been a big fan of good Presidential impersonators ever since I was a grade school kid back when Rich Little was doing his legendary Richard Nixon impersonation. I’ve always been able to laugh along even if the impersonator is poking some fun at a President that I liked. Right now there are two very good impersonators of Trump and are the hands down best in my opinion.

Here’s the first one, JL Cauvin:

    https://www.youtube.com/user/JLCauvin

Cauvin usually doesn’t even try to look like Trump because he doesn’t have to. He’s that good. He has the voice and the vocal patterns down pat. He practically channels Trump at times.

John Di Domenico also does an impeccable impersonation. He does also cop “the look” of Trump. I like Cauvin better, but Domenico is a very close second:

    https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzQpFuWIqe0VkezvAOeki0Q

Those of you who practically worship and idolize Trump and do not have a sense of humor will not like these impersonators, so ignore and just move on with your day. Those of you who are like me and just glad Hillary didn’t win, are somewhat right of center on the political spectrum, and also have a sense of humor will enjoy these guys. Those of you who can’t stand Trump will definitely enjoy them.

    • beantownbill. August 23, 2020 at 2:01 pm #

I agree with you. I listened to both of them. IMO Calvin is terrific and Di Domenico is good, but With a more standard impersonation. Ya gotta have a good sense of humor – which is sadly lacking today.

I don’t know if you’re old enough to remember, but impersonator David Frye had a terrific Nixon and Spiro Agnew LP around 1969:or 1970. Nixon getting stoned was one-of-a kind, and Agnew asking Nixon to ”teach me time, teach me time, I want to learn time!“ was hilarious. I think I still have the LP lying around somewhere.

With Something to Tell You, out September 1, Chasten will share his own story, from growing up in a conservative Midwestern household to becoming a teacher—and, of course, meeting (and falling for) the mayor of South Bend, Indiana on a dating app in 2015. Below, find an excerpt from a particularly exciting moment in Chasten and Pete’s dating history: Pete, then a rising political star, invites Chasten to the White House’s annual Christmas party, where he meets none other than Barack and Michelle Obama. Want to know what a Biden America will look like, from his own mouth. The tax burden on a family with $75000 will go from 12 to 25%.

Just remember one thing, a Biden America means that capital is going to be stolen from the money makers and given to the gimme class. It says something about the success of the Dems to create more gimmes, more public dependency that demographics favor them.

    • JohnAZ August 23, 2020 at 2:37 pm #

Giving to the gimme class is a no win scenario. The gimmes do not produce, do not create, do not promote growth so the drive for the Long Emergency is going to accelerate.

    Anglin:

Here’s yet another thing you’re going to have to look forward to in your brave and bright new revolutionary future: open pedophilia.

This is the poster for the new French documentary released by Netflix entitled “Cuties.”

That poster and the trailer led to a high degree of backlash. Netflix has decided to release the film, but pull the promotional artwork.

Many in the media claimed that the film is actually against sexualizing young girls. Of course, that is incompatible with that poster. It is also incompatible with basic reality that you would make a film focused on showing the sexualization of children but also be against it, unless it was explicitly framed as being against it. “It sends the message it might be bad, while letting the viewer come to his own conclusions” is promoting it with plausible deniability.

I’ve continually argued that the new definition of pedophilia was created in part to normalize actual pedophilia, to put people in a place where they have no ability to defend against actual pedophilia.

For those unaware, the term “pedophilia” traditionally meant “attraction to prepubescent children.” Then it so happened that a bunch of homosexual priests were caught molesting teenage boys. These boys were still underage, but they were not “children.” They were post-pubescent.

They needed an ability to distinguish between bad homosexuals and good homosexual, so they defined the priests who molested the boys as “not homosexuals, but pedophiles,” thereby redefining the term “pedophile” to mean “attraction to people who are under the legal age of consent in your jurisdiction.”

There are homosexual pedophiles. However, most homosexuals are “pederasts” who target boys who are experiencing sexual urges already. The entire goal of the homosexual is to convert the boy to homosexualism. And if he is able to associate early experiences of sexuality with men, then that boy is much more likely to convert to homosexualism.

This new definition of the term meant that thinking 17-year-old Britney Spears looked pretty good on the cover of Rolling Stone in 1999 was now pedophilia in some districts.

It effectively completely removed the value of the term “pedophilia,” and thereby removed the ability of people to identify with language the concept of sexualizing prepubescent children.

The age of consent is a thing, and should be a thing. I do not think we should allow teenagers to go around having sex, and we absolutely shouldn’t allow homosexuals to prey on teenage boys. But we already understood that. We also understood that puberty is a biological process that happens to humans that changes them from children into sexual beings, and that there is not something evil or immoral about having an attraction to a girl who has a fully developed body and yet hasn’t reached the age of consent.

People understand that a teenager is sexual. We were all teenagers once, and we understand that in fact, they are highly sexual, due specifically to this explosion of hormones in their bodies. I’m not a fan of the term “exploring sexuality,” as it always implies promiscuity, which I am opposed to, but people are at least able to understand how such a term applies to teenagers.

But they garbled that all together.

It was only a matter of time before they started targeting prepubescent children for sexualization, under the claim that “children have a right to explore their sexuality.” If someone said, “what do you mean, ‘children have a right to explore their sexuality,’” the response would be, “well, a 16-year-old has an ability to be sexual.”

But they kept on chanting “children have a right to explore their sexuality.”

You see how this works? When they can remove your ability to use language to describe things, they can manipulate reality around your inability to express yourself.

It’s not a coincidence that this film is being rolled out in the middle of a cultural revolution. We’ve been hearing for years about how we need to relabel pedophiles as “minor attracted persons.” We’ve been hearing that pedophiles are actually victims of society. Slate.com was pushing this line as far back as 2012.

We can see now that the last several decades have been spent grooming the population to prepare for what is happening right now: the great unveiling.

Yes: open, normalized pedophilia (by the original definition of the concept) is going to be a part of the New World Order that we are entering into. It is currently being rolled out as a part of this cultural revolution, and the Netflix documentary “Cuties” is the big announcement that it’s time for you to get used to it.

SV: Confucius said the first step in reform in the “rectification of names”. Words must mean what intended to mean. By calling sex with late teenage young men and women “pedophilia”, the word itself was degraded and normalized. Now sex with actual children seems less harmful because the word for it is less triggering. That’s the way people work. And thus the Elite work them to get society to where they want it to go. Combine this with the UN’s “rights of the child” and you’re even closer. The coup d’grace is the child’s right to choose their own gender. After that, taking adult lovers is no big thing at all.

If you attain a certain level of intellect where you are above words per se, you can see all this and resist it. But most people’s mind are identified completely with words, usually very specific words, and they are changed, the rug is pulled out from under them.

If you only know one way home and that road is blocked, you may panic. But if you know the roads well, you know many ways home. It’s like that. It’s not that you are completely above language per se, but rather specific words and verbal pathways.

It coincides with the predatory nature exhibited by the Elites in a more general sense too. It’s frightening to think that no amount of backlash seemingly is stopping them from continuing forward with this rollout. Shows like Toddlers & Tiaras were precursors to this. And the really scary thing is that many people knew what they were doing then but they got away with it anyway with the support of the childrens’ parents no less because fame and money were calling.

Utah’s AG cancelled a anti-child trafficking rally because some of the organizers were associated with Qanon. This is the worst kind playing politics. He put himself in the camp of the pedophiles by so doing.

Whatever other silliness they may believe, their belief that the Globalists are perverts appears to be right on target. Ditto that we are ruled by them – and those afraid of them and seeking their favor.

        • SoftStarLight August 23, 2020 at 3:08 pm #

Yes, I saw his report on that too and was shocked. I hadn’t heard about it anywhere else actually. And how horrible that this AG canceled (and he is trying to spin that it has been “postponed”) the rally just because people thought it was associated with Qanon. Sean Reyes could have very simply said something like “child trafficking and abuse are not myths and conspiracies, we are out here to save the children”. He would have been a hero actually since the reality of the situation is so dire. But instead he cowered and placated to the predators. It’s heart crushing. Especially when at the same time the Elite so callously use the “save the children” narrative for their social engineering when it suits them.

      SV.

Disgusting! The pedophilia problem invading our upper echelons is a vanguard pointing in the direction of our degrading morality across the board. When the problem folks make the laws, the potency of the laws protecting morality declines as ours have. The political justification of the drugs, trafficking and pedophilia shows the direction the country is going. Revelation says that Evil will just about take over the earth before the end times. Welcome to the end times, perhaps.

The whole Jon Benet thing kind of turned my stomach at the time. Sexualizing a 5 year old is just plain sick, but I think her parents (or at least I hope so) knew it made her sexy (ugh) but didn’t feel she was being sexualized, hence no harm done. Talk about being blind! One of my granddaughters is 5 and will turn 6 in a couple of weeks. I could not imagine her all dolled up and entering a beauty pageant.

I don’t know when, or if ever, it is appropriate for an adult to have sex with a teenager, even if they are already sexualized. I don’t worry about it personally because I can’t conceive of being attractive to a 15 year old. Also, for me, it would involve being unfaithful to my wife and that’s a no-no. I guess it depends on the individuals involved. I do know that one shouldn’t put a limit on an appropriate age.

    • Majella August 23, 2020 at 3:42 pm #

BTB…A rule of thumb to apply (for those on the second go-around) might be having sex with no-one who is less than 5 years older than your oldest child.

Maj, the next go-around for menwould be the 3rd one; I sincerely wish it never happens. You’re limit means I shouldn’t be having sex with anyone under 47 years old.

Amren, article about the differences in immigration policy in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway

Recently in Malmö, a man living in the almost all-white neighborhood of Bunkeflo was convicted for sending an e-mail message to a public official, in which he said he believed Arabs were mostly criminals, and that he was opposed to subsidies for immigrants who moved to Bunkeflo, because “Bunkeflo was one of the last few refuges in Malmö where you could go out and not see Arabs loitering all around you.” He managed to avoid prison, but had to pay a fine of 10 percent of his annual pre-tax income. With Sweden’s high tax rates, this means a fine of about 20 percent of net income.

Immigrants, on the other hand, can write just about anything. For example, Tobias Hubinette was adopted as a child from South Korea, and has been active in “anti-racist” organizations like “Anti-Fascist Action” and “Expo.” He wrote this in the “anti-racist” magazine Creol: “To feel or even think that the white race is inferior in all conceivable senses of the word is quite natural given its history and current behavior. May the western world of the white race perish in blood and suffering.” He has not been charged with “incitement of ethnic hatred” and continues to be a leading “anti-racist” activist.

SV: In Denmark, immigrants are about 5% of the population yet commit 60% of the rapes, thus they rape at 40 TIMES the rate of the native Danes. Unlike Sweden which blacks out all such data, the Danes report it and anti-immigrant parties have used it to great advantage. When immigration was greatly slowed there, the Swedes exploded in rage, calling their brother Scandanavians racists and nazis. This after blacking out all information about the election until the victory. Denmark responded by saying if you want to turn your cities into Beruits of tribal fighting, then I’ll guess we have to draw up the bridge between Copenhagen and Malmo (in Norway I believe).

    • Sredni Vashtar August 23, 2020 at 3:01 pm #

Norway is between the two extremes in terms of coverage and policy. Thus in some ways it is the most bizarre of all, as in: Yes, the immigrants have caused an explosion in rape and assault, yet we MUST keep bringing more in.

Needless to say, America is most like Evil Sweden, denying everything and vilifying Whites who speak out against it.

The Season Two opener sets us up for a laugh even before it begins—its episode title is the generic first line of a joke. The first scene of the hour gives us a different joke, however, one that plays on the stereotype of “the smart Asian”—a test proctor calls out “Christopher Moltisanti” and it is an Asian guy that responds. (The proctor may not suspect the man to be an imposter but the woman sitting next to him ain’t buying it.)

Quite an interesting article comes out. When I read something like this before, I did not attach such importance to it as now, but recently reading the essay “12 years a slave” on https://supremestudy.com/12-years-a-slave, I rethought the meaning of all these events. And now I completely agree with you because these are such wonderful works, we should not forget them, but with age, we must re-read all these articles because we already understand them in a new way.
