The early winter holidays are notorious for giving people the blues, but as the last Thanksgiving leftovers slide into the stockpot, the Democratic Party was put on suicide watch. Is the ghost of Jeffrey Epstein in charge? It’s a little late to call an exorcist. The gun pointed at the Democrats’ head now is a stubby little low-caliber weapon in the person of Jerrold Nadler, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, who has only grazed the party’s skull in two previous misfirings. The third time, the old saying goes, may be the charm.
When Mr. Nadler entertained Special Counsel Robert Mueller in July, he succeeded spectacularly in discrediting Mr. Mueller, and the inquisition he rode in on. It was the worst public demonstration of aphasia since William Jennings Bryan had a stroke at the Scopes Trial in 1925. Mr. Mueller’s pitiful performance detached the last sticky tendril of hope that his tortured report might avail to cast out the arch-demon in the White House. Even the Republicans on the dais seemed to feel sorry for him. True to his character as a schoolyard sap wearing a “kick me” sign on his back, Mr. Nadler just waddled away in a fog of bamboozlement, hitching his pants up to his sternum, to plot his next foolish move.
Which was to haul former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski into the committee in September. Mr. Lewandowski’s performance was the equivalent of watching poor Mr. Nadler get hitched to the rear bumper of a Lincoln Navigator and dragged over several miles of broken Coke bottles. And yet, ever-sturdy, like one of those plastic punching dummies with all its weight on the bottom, Mr. Nadler just popped back up, adjusted his “kick me” sign, and moved on to his next folly: the current comedy of errors around impeachment.
Really, the only question now is what new way will Mr. Nadler find to humiliate himself and mortify his party? Opening testimony this week will be supplied by a panel of Woke constitutional law professors who will attempt to tease out some hermeneutic legal basis for an impeachment other than actual misdeeds. They’ll surely settle on thought-crime, since there is nothing else. Whose idea was it to hit the snooze button just as the curtain goes up on the show?
Next will come a mighty hassle over whether the minority can call witnesses of its own choosing. Ranking member Doug Collins (R-GA) has already asked for an appearance by Adam Schiff, chair of the House Intel Committee, whose procedural shenanigans last month embarrassed anyone with a vestigial memory of Anglo-American due process. Some folks think that Mr. Schiff has got some ‘splainin’ to do about the predicating circumstances of his star chamber spectacle. He is, in fact, a fact-witness to all that, on top of being the issuer today of his own committee’s report on all that, and therefore susceptible to public examination — especially in a train of proceedings as grave as impeachment. If Mr. Nadler enables Mr. Schiff to slither out of testifying, there will be hell to pay, and in the not-so-likely prospect of an actual impeachment trial in the senate, it would be paid there as an unleashed defense goes for Mr. Schiff with pithing needles and thumbscrews of genuine interrogation.
Then there is the “Whistleblower,” this would-be pimpernel of perfidy hiding behind Adam Schiff’s apron under the false assertion that he is entitled to everlasting anonymity. What an idea under our system of jurisprudence! In fact, contrary to Mr. Schiff’s public pronouncements, there is no law that states what he claims — one of several things Mr. Schiff can be called to account for. And that is even if you accept the dishonest proposition that the fugitive who started this fiasco even was a whistleblower, rather than a rogue CIA officer acting on explicitly illegal political motives to interfere in the 2020 election. The CIA, you must know, is forbidden by charter and statute from operating against American citizens in-country, including the president of the United States. Under the circumstances, the so-called “Whistleblower” might fairly be accused of treason.
Has anyone failed to notice that one of the “Whistleblower’s” attorneys, Mark Zaid, tweeted notoriously on January 30, 2017 that “Coup has started. First of many steps. #rebellion. #impeachment will follow ultimately. #lawyers.” Mr. Zaid later explained, “I was referring to a completely lawful process.” Yeah, sure. I think he meant a completely Lawfare process. Of course, the engineered “Whistleblower” escapade was only the latest (perhaps the last) chapter in the annals of nefarious events and actions carried out far-and-wide by several government agencies for three years, and by many officials working within them, and not a few freelance rogues in their service. There is no more accurate way to describe all that except as a coup. The authorities looking into all that have not been heard from yet. The portentous silence is making a lot of people in Washington edgy.
If the various House committees have put the Democratic Party on suicide watch, then something even more deadly is lurking just offstage. Hillary Clinton is making noises about jumping into the 2020 election. She senses opportunity as Joe Biden goes pitifully through the motions of running for office to avoid prosecution for his international grifting operations as Veep. Think of Hillary as the cyanide capsule that the party might actually choose to bite down on as the year ominously turns.

Fracking is proof that we have reached “peak conventional oil”…. think about it.
Proof? Not quite but good evidence that those who know are seriously concerned. Another damning bit of evidence is the invasion of oil producing countries by the USA Big Bully, to insure that we last longer than any of the other oil consumers out there. If there was so much of the Devil’s Excrement bubbling up out of the ground like Jed Clampet’s wet dream, why go through so much trouble?
Proof? Well I am not sure that this entity exists anymore what with the advent of “create your own reality in your own head” syndrome running so prevalent throughout the nation. There is no truth, there is only spin. I like the way James puts it out there through and I for one see much truth in what he writes.

Both fracking and deepwater are enabled by the vast flood of fiat “money” that supplies the financing of and the demand for their product at a price that does not reflect their true cost (EROEI).
When the credit bubble breaks, fracking can resume after a while, but the share of world “income” that is claimed by the product will rise significantly. Whether or not deepwater will resume depends on conditions that cannot be known because it is so dependent on organizational complexity and “peace” to be worth the risk.
Of course there will be a lag between the bubble breaking (which will result in an oversupply from demand destruction) and the shortages that result from lack of investment.
And, of course, I should admit that my assertion that the bubble will break means that I assume (not without evidence) it is not “different this time”.
Interesting times.

When contemplating our “government as designed by our Founders” I find it worthwhile to keep the following words in mind”
“We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion… Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” – John Adams
I argue that rather than the Founder’s entire structure hanging by a thread we are clinging to the last fragments that have not been washed away by the flood of passions of unbridled people.
What has happened to our nation has been a slow-motion version of Mao’s cultural revolution wherein he imagined that a hundred flowers would bloom if passions were unbridled, but found he had loosed pandemonium.
According to a first-person report I’ve read, the Great Chairman was both insulated from the suffering and catastrophe that he triggered and what’s more did not give a shit about it.
When he would take a train ride all the villages along the tracks would scramble to plant green rice shoots alongside the train, in a Potemkin-type effort to please him, and assure him that his folly was reaping progress.
He was not to be pleased. Like Stalin before him he was intent on devouring souls by the millions, a true demon in human form, and his pretty piggy picture hangs today over Tienenman Square, beaming brightly over the enslaved masses.

Well, this is the long emergency. It becomes one because we do ANYthing to avoid the civilizational existential crisis that peak oil represents.
Trump got elected because a good number of people in America have been made worse off by the asset-inflating Fed. He’s opposed not by the poor, but by the upper middle class, connected to all those Federal gravy-train jobs that have proliferated as we have become less goods-producing oriented. Those people know pretty well what happens if you lose your connection to the wealth pump in DC (and NYC; and SF): a life that’s poor, nasty, brutish, and short.
As JHK has pointed out, the upside is that it might not be solitary, since when you cannot pay $100+ dollars per month for cable, you have to create your own entertainment.
I figure J is endearing himself to some benefactor. Or perhaps he’s stroked – but doesn’t know it.
The current level of exposition at CF Nation reflects the sinking level of national discourse.

Prices rise and enlightenment does not seem to pay attention. Get your pitchfork ready. Listen again you got it wrong. He is clear. When people have enough money to spend, the economy works and the economy is made out of workers who spend money. His example was that of a restaurant. A working system has to have restaurant workers making enough so they can go out to eat or there are no customers.
Instead we have a system that enriches the rich who do not spend money because they already have enough to get all they need now. The competitive drive for more more and ever more for them has sucked money from the exploited so they don’t have money to spend to keep the economy going. Rich spending does not go far enough. They keep most of what they have and play games with it.
And where we are is only the first step of a continuum. We lag the curve. Our place on the curve is broken isolated people who only dream of a future and who do a lot of drugs.
Venezuela, Columbia, Brazil, Bolivia, France, India, Afghanistan, the world burns and in Chile, the jewel of the Milton Friedman playbook shows the world the failure of privatization as people dispense with pitchforks in lieu of a more modern protest involving thrown bottles of gasoline stuffed with flaming rags.

Good point. The minimum wage won’t work without fixing the price of necessities. Let people strive for luxuries and compete for honors and position – that’s human enough. But letting people die under bridges because of your egotism is not.

I’m certainly for a prosperous middle class, and I see the benefit of people having more money to spend. But the restaurant worker’s taxes go up, and he or she pays more in the restaurant that they go out to than they would have otherwise. So maybe the roads get fixed, but I doubt it.

Hanauer believes in capitalism but he knows that the more equal a society is the happier as society is. From his point of view he recognizes the advantages of shared prosperity but he knows if someone is determined and works hard they should be able to prosper from their efforts.

Now let’s move on to the subject of higher minimum wages. This is another disaster for low paid people. The higher their wages rise the more desperately management will work to find a way to eliminate workers. It’s axiomatic.
Here are two situations that came up in my life in the past 24 hours. And they are nothing new…I’m sure you have all had these experiences:
1) I have a doc appt coming up this Thurs, 12/5. I begin to receive requests that I confirm this appt. I get these requests on both my cell phone (via text) and by email on my computer. I confirm but I no longer get an instantaneous automated thank you as I used to. The new wrinkle now is the system goes to a second step asking me to pre-register myself. If I don’t pre-register I will never receive acknowledgement that I have confirmed my appt. Rather, I will continue to receive more requests that I confirm. What is the purpose of this?? I will tell you. There are 2 women (always black or Hispanic, BTW) positioned at a reception counter to handle the incoming patients (they look up your appt, collect co-pays, electronically stamp your parking deck ticket*). It is so obvious….. management would love to eliminate at least one of these two salaries. I refuse to go along with this. I WILL NOT do their work by pre-registering on-line.
2) I dined (lunch) at Micky D’s today. I walked in and went to the counter where 2 employees are usually stationed to take orders. No one was there. I waited a moment then gave up and walked two steps to my left where I could yell to the workers behind the wall. ” Anybody around to take my order?” A woman came out (Asian, BTW) but not behind the counter. She came on my side of the counter to talk to me and led me to an ordering kiosk. This was obviously meant to be a training session so in the future I could order my own fucking food. I hope these poor bastards realize these little one-on-one training sessions will be putting themselves out of a job.
* Re the parking deck. This is another amazing thing: a huge building 6 floors high being run by one employee. He is in a little booth right where cars enter and exit (if he happens to be a black person possessing a certain unique black dialect it is called a boof). Sometimes there are issues with people not being able to pay for parking at the machine on the third floor level so this attendant comes out of his boof and fixes the problem.
Someday the doctor I go to see will be a robot.

Sanders couldn’t possibly get a better non-endorsement. Jim is right. We need to put the Dems on suicide watch. As in, watch for signs of their imminent suicide and then encourage/facilitate them to go through with it. It’s the best thing for all involved.

Although I’m not in alignment with Bernie’s policies, I have the most respect for him among the Democratic front-runners. He’s not mendacious – he tells it like it is – and he he owns what he is – an old, white, Jewish, straight man.
His one great mistake has been aligning himself with the Dems. He’s not one of them and never will be, and the association greatly reduces his potential impact. Obama has already signaled that the shiv is being readied once again. The only plus side is that that will likely be the last straw for what remains of them. Maybe Sanders can reorganize the scraps in the aftermath, but that seems to be a major stretch for someone with no clear support within the beltway itself.
And Trump’s to align himself with the Republicans.
It is too late for Sanders.
He sold his soul and the souls of his supporters to the DNC and to the totally corrupted Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2016.
In order to run as a Democrat he has already made his dirty deal to support the nominee regardless of who it might be, including Hillary Clinton.
Sanders, in the end, has no guts to stand by the courage of his convictions. He is just another politician like all the others who “go along to get along.”

Depends on where the drone footage is shot.
Damascus stayed in the control of the government, so any damage in Damascus is by attacks by the rebels.
Some of the suburbs of Damascus passed into rebel control, so most damage there is probably by both sides fighting street to street.
Aleppo was mostly in rebel control, but retaken by the central government in December 2016, so most of the damage there was due to the various sides fighting.
Deir ez-Zor was under ISIS/Daesh control, so it’s probably our bombs did the most damage there.
Does it matter? It’s the ‘product’ of the MIC, whichever way you look at it. Impoverishment.

I think the abolition of sodomy laws (even though I myself don’t care for “t3h butts3xx”), freedom from blatant housing and employment description, and a little bit more “live and let live” were enough. Legalizing gay marriage to me was just some much-appreciated icing on the cake.
I really do look askance at the new mindset of mandating celebration, because it amounts to a kind of thought-policing. During the hey-day of culturally-inculcated homophobia, I remembered how much I resented the Bible-bangers telling me I shouldn’t be attracted to men, because that felt like an attempt to police my thoughts and feelings. Do not pay much attention to the NYT story. They spend much time retracting stories their lying sources come up with. Old adage, do not believe 10% of what the papers say.
If we have any hope the IG report may just skip around the edges of all the illegal, treasonous actions of some at Justice and FBI and will be an okay basic “punch” for the holiday party.
But I think Durham’s and Barr’s CRIMINAL investigation findings will be what spikes that punch and gets the grand jury party really flying.
There is a damn good reason Durham has been flying all over the world meeting with various witnesses regarding these matters. I think he and Barr really want to clean house with Justice and the FBI to put the fear of God into the next motley crew who think they know better than the voters who our president should be.

The original story (and TV series) was British, by a writer Michael Dobbs (who had experience as an aide to Maggie and a speechwriter for the Conservative Party.
Even the first 3 series of the US TV show were direct copies of the original British show.
The main character was Prime Minister Francis Urquart (or FU – which made for great tabloid headlines, as in “FU, FU!”). This was Americanised to Francis Underwood.
I guess the last 4 series were off on their own (Urquart was assassinated in the final of the 3rd British series). I guess the Clintons were probably a model for that end of the series.
Personally, I actually couldn’t physically watch the last series – whoever did the soundscape should be taken out & shot. It was so distracting, too much.
If you can find a copy of the BBC version anywhere, I recommend it. It was much more chilling than the US production. Ian Richardson as F.U. was absolutely masterful.

Are you up on the problems with Nat/gas delivery into NYC, denial of a proposed pipeline, and shortages in Bronx and Brooklyn? Apparently the company National Grid has been compelled by law to to supply nat/gas into the city with existing infrastructure — which is not possible — so they will be bringing in nat/gas on trucks.

Well I admit I did not watch the entire video but I did watch parts of it. But to be fair, securing the borders doesn’t do anything about the massive demographic changes that our legal immigration system is wreaking across the fruited plain. We could build a Wall to the heavens, but if you let millions of people fly over the Wall and into our airports and let them just disappear into the country there is zero point to having that Big, Beautiful Wall in the first place. Preserving the country means a complete moratorium on immigration right now. That being said, I love Christmas. The Christmas Tree is Evergreen – symbolizing Eternal Life. Horace said you can cast out Nature with a pitchfork, but it will return. Just so, St Boniface chopped down the Sacred Tree of a German Tribe, but then later Christianity put sacred Trees in every Town Square and Home. German Monks each get their own Christmas Tree in their own cells, almost as if in penance for what Boniface did.
I can’t imagine Christmas without a Christmas Tree. If I’m recalling correctly, the “anti-tree” verse is in Jeremiah and was responding to the actual worship of trees and sacred trees that was apparently commonplace at the time. Giving Boniface the benefit of the doubt, one can hope he was only trying to convince the ancient Germans that in the end it was God they should worship and not the Sacred Tree. An elderly neighbor told me the previous owner, a university president, would harvest his Christmas Trees so they could be replanted; there they still are, 50′-60′ tall. Actually some of them are getting to the end of their lives and need to be taken down.

As has been noted here, chopping a tree down to use as a Christmas Tree does not have to mean the death of the tree. Now in our throwaway culture I am sure it often does but you can see here that some people do not follow that path and replant the trees after they have been used to celebrate Life. That saying of Christ that sometimes one must lose their life in order to save their life is true after all. The Christian influence in our culture is just about stamped out so I expect we will be seeing a lot more of a Death Culture soon. If the Brown hordes end up controlling the land then human sacrifice may make a comeback, who knows!?

It’s not nearly enough for a notion to be thinly supported by evidence, it has to contravene what’s plainly under your nose.
This is just one way of many. Another is selective blindness which you see everywhere. It leads people to support nonsense that people know can’t possibly be true, but for the sake of career and social position, act as if it is.
And so we get advocates for multitudes of idiocies. Open borders, for example, a policy idea coming from many misconceptions, most of them deliberate, one of which is a blithe dismissal of the accomplishments of other civilizations and of the denial of the capabilities of people of different origins. You get minimization of the threat of terrorist violence, of the commitment of people to traditions unlike ours, of the self-confidence they have in themselves and their own civilizational ways. Those humble ethnics with their quaint ethnic ways. Dis-respect as SoftStarLight puts it. Big, big mistake.
These are all potentially fatal errors. But these are just a few examples, So many out there.

I think just about everything that is being discussed politically is a result of resource shortages and over population. Resource supply is not matching demand world wide. I believe the creation of the Deep State in DC is directly attributable to resource shortages and our response to it. The denial state we are in as the public is starting to wake up is becoming evident. Trump is just one response. The DS is DCs effort to protect itself and the country from shortages that are becoming more evident with time. Oil is not even no. 1. Fresh water is! Price increases are not necessarily the result of more expensive extraction methods. Consider that the oil we pump is not our own, but rather a commodity sold on the world market. Consider further, that the decline in the US dollar, and perhaps the rise of other currencies “better accepted” by the rest of the world would result in an exchange rate that would not to be to our advantage.
Under these (unavoidable) circumstances, the price rise will be larger and more immediate than you might suggest.

Prosecutors, especially below the top level, operate pretty much independently and are like predators on the prowl (unless they know someone to be off limits). Unless restrained by politics they are happy to come across an opportunity to nail someone’s hide to the barn.

Evelyn, the narrative didn’t have to be true, there just had to be enough truthiness about it. And regardless of the truth of it or lack thereof, I think the story of the son of God being born into humble circumstances was attractive to people back then, given their own circumstances. And while a lot of people bought into the story (or stories), a lot of people didn’t. For example, I’ve heard it said that Islam is the formulation of dissident Christians. And not long before Mohammed died he supposedly told his followers to not do to him what Jesus’ followers did to Jesus, ie make him into the son of god etc.
You’re right about the culling and suppression of the multitude of texts out there as there’s pieces surviving, and not only that but there are discrepancies between the four that did make the cut. I have no idea what things are like where you are but I have seen first hand a Walmart where one day there was a Black Manager, and then slowly but surely nearly all of the existing employees were replaced by Black workers. Now at the Walmart I am thinking of there are really no other workers than Black and they can often be found huddling in the aisles talking to each other or on their phones. Yes, I’m sure there’s a lot of visible homelessness in SD, as it is elsewhere. The most recent stats show there’s just over 5,000 in the SD area, with half of them unsheltered (I’m guessing they’re the Hooverville residents, but may include the carpark inhabitants featured in the DW video).
It’s ugly and confronting, and while there may be some who are there due to mental illness and substance addiction, the majority are NOT. They’re the result of the US’s upside-down system, in which if you’re down, you’re more likely to get another kick in the head than a hand up.
The minimum wage perspective you espouse is interesting. I thought this trope had bee thoroughly debunked already. For example, the minimum wage in Aotearoa NZ is now $NZD 18.25 and it is planned to get to $20.50 by the end of 2021.
That’s a living wage – working a 40 hour week, after taxes, that’s $35,700 per annum. If you have children, there can be a rebate on the taxes that, for 2 children under age 16, would add back in around $5,000. (There’s no Standard Deduction or deduction of mortgage interest there.)
This process has been ongoing for the last 8 years. So far, this has shown no inflationary effect such as you describe.

In order to stay in business they either fire employees and make the remaining do more. Less jobs more work.

This is a very interesting post. You’re right. One thing that the Elite has imposed on many/most people is food rationing. Not food rationing in the sense that you literally can only get so much of certain things and all by law, but food rationing in the sense that fresh vegetables, meat, etc., are much more expensive compared to processed foods. So families of limited means are forced to limit their consumption of healthy food. This also stems back to our removal from the land and being concentrated into cities. If more families and communities were able to grow their own food to the greatest extent possible we would likely be much healthier. It is really amazing that modern society with modern medicine and advanced technology does not necessarily guarantee that citizens are healthy and whole, and in many respects makes people less healthy and whole.

Are you aware of how many innovations over the last 100 years or so have come out of tax-payer funded basic research? The legal position of the federal government (for the people) is that such research is then made available publicly for further research & development.
These are things that would possibly have been developed, eventually, in the private sector but at such a cost, perhaps not. Theinternet, GPS, thousands of breakthrough drugs, the weather forecast and so on. , ad Infinitum. Is this not the very heart of social democracy (or socialism)? The Stare (Fedral hereabouts) has invested in science for decades to make day-to-day life better and easier, but that ‘social contract’ & ‘commonwealth’ concept is dismissed far too easily.

The caucuses have no secret ballot. The vote totals for the precincts are not announced, nor is there any evidence that records are even kept of the totals. In 2016 it appeared in our precinct that Sanders had more voters than Clinton, yet it was announced that Clinton had won more delegates. Also in 2016, our precinct chair tried to influence the voting. Obviously, after the voters have gone home, there is no possibility of a recount.
In other words, the Iowa Caucuses are anti-democratic.They undermine our democracy.
It is richly ironic, therefore, that today a Stanford law professor testifying to a committee of the House of Representatives stated that Trump’s activities relative to the Bidens’ well-paid work in Ukraine, “Undermined our democracy.” Have these people no shame?

A nation that’s no longer capable of naming names and reporting what actually happened richly deserves an economic and political collapse to match its moral collapse.
You’ve probably heard of the Truth Commissionsheld in disastrously corrupt and oppressive regimes after the sociopath/kleptocrat Oligarchs are deposed. The goal is not revenge, as well-deserved as that might be; the goal is national reconciliation via the only possible path to healing: name names and tell the plain, unadorned truth , stripped of self-serving artifice, spin, propaganda and PR.
Is such a stripped-of-spin truthful account of names and events even possible in the U.S.? Sadly, there is precious little evidence that a Truth Commission in the U.S. would be anything more than a travesty of a mockery of a sham, a parade of half-truths, misdirections, falsehoods and fabrications, all aimed at one goal: protecting the powerful from the consequences of their decisions and actions.
Sadly, we’ve lost the capacity to simply tell the truth: everything, and I mean everything, is crafted to protect the guilty, polish the putrid decay of legalized looting, defraud the unwary, ease the most venal, power-mad sociopaths into positions of unparalleled power, sell low-quality goods and services nobody needs or would even want if the marketing weren’t so Orwellian, persuade debt-serfs to borrow more and bamboozle voters into further enriching the few at the expense of the many.

Most people who are said to have one testicle (and this is not uncommon) actually have two but one is ‘undescended’. It is considered common in boys born prematurely.
You’re referring to ‘cryptorchidism’ and it’s extremely common. Once the poor boy reaches early puberty, it’s usually surgically corrected – (at least in the real world where healthcare is socialists).
A younger brother had this surgery at age 14. If he hadn’t, the undescended testicle would not only have certainly become sterile (37.5c body temperature is too high) but had a hugely increased risk of becoming cancerous.

Any low grade moron can create his or her website and take everything a truth-teller says out of context and demonize him or her—pronouns no longer considered legitimate. We have today the spectacle that people of no accomplisment or intelligence can put brands on distinguished persons of accomplishment. PropOrNot, a website set up to libel those who prefer peace to war with Russia, adds “leftwing” to my assortment of labels. Demonizers also have access to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube—-as long as they demonize those whose demonization is approved of by the ruling Establishment. Truth, however, is almost totally missing from the world created by the Digital Revolution, a great castrophe for mankind. I am almost convinced that the digital revolution means the death of truth. Truth will become a myth like the Unicorn.
On this website and a few others—the percentage of sites that are honest and reliable is very small—you can still get some of the truth. I try not to make mistakes, but in a world in which truth is not respected, it is a challenge to be truthful as truthful information necessary to write truthfully is suppressed.
I can confidently say that unless it is an announcement of a traffic accident (terrorist unrelated) or the death of some notable person, everything you read and hear from NPR and the print and TV media is false. The “news” is propaganda designed to control explanations to serve the agendas of the ruling elites. The “news” is nothing else. The “news” is extremely hostile to truth and to those who speak it.
We all live in The Matrix. I am still escaping from it. Recently, I have been sharing with readers my escape from the long ago WW II lies taught to me as a child. These lies are so institutionalized that I doubt that most Americans—and even Germans—will ever be able to free themselves from them. Think about that for a minute. The outlook of the human population is formed by lies, and these lies are so much a part of them that they cannot escape from them.
What shall we call a dystopia such as this?
History is generally a result of self-serving elites manipulating masses. But on occasion the masses have responded to leaders who spoke and acted in their interest. These are the rare periods of reform and revolution. I write for several reasons. One is out of a sense of responsibility to truth. One is out of hope that leaders will arise from truth.
The question is whether those few who tell the truth will be supported. Support for Manning was inadequate. Support for Julian Assange was inadequate. Support for the Palestinians, dispossessed by Zionists of their country, their villages, their homes, their culture, their lives, was inadequate. I could go on, and I am certain that my readers can add to the picture.
The question before me is: Can I expect support for this website when Manning cannot expect support, when Assange cannot expect support, when the heavily abused Palestinians cannot expect support?
Who values truth in a world when a man can declare himself a women and be permitted to compete against women in female sports? How can it be that when prominent female sports stars complain of this farce that they have to apologize for offending the self-declared “transgenered” person? Are we experiencing a new form of decadence far worst than Sodom and Gomorrah, worst than the declining days of Rome?
Who values truth when some non-entity can close down truth by declaring that it offends them?
Who values truth when it can no longer be expressed in universities?
Who values truth when dogmas cannot be examined or questioned?
Many years ago I read a science fiction story—don’t remember who wrote it or where—of a dystopia, a country where at birth babies were tested to see if they had a “truth gene.” If they did, they were exterminated. Truth was an enormous threat to the system, and every precaution was taken to suppress anything resembling truth.
The suppression of truth is the most serious problem of our times. It is the defining characteristic of every Western nation and all of Washington’s vassal states.
Truth was a liberating force. This liberating force is escaping our grasp. We are being cast back in time to when truth was impotent and power in its brutality ruled.

Being born in the 1950s, “The War” seemed really recent to me as I grew up. “Commando” comic books (4 black & white panels on an A8 page) were weekend fodder for my cousins & me. The Cathars believed that God as presented in the Old Testament was in fact a different deity in relation to the God of the New Testament. The god of the Old Testament in their mind was the god of the material world and ultimately was associated also with darkness and wickedness. the god of the New Testament was the god of light, goodness, and the true god of the gospels. Most people know my name, George Zimmerman, largely due to negative stereotypes propagated by the media as a result of the 2012 incident in Sanford, Florida, in which Trayvon Martin died.
Unfortunately, most people don’t recall the fact that I was exonerated of any wrongdoing after a thorough investigation by the Sanford Police Department in March 2012. They had interviewed dozens of witnesses, analyzed 911 calls, and examined the physical evidence of my broken nose, the lacerations on the back of my head, as well as the bruised knuckles of my assailant.
This was all backed up by eyewitness Johnathan Good who told police that he saw me screaming for help while blows were coming down on me “MMA style.”
At the conclusion of the police investigation, Sanford Chief of Police Bill Lee announced that my actions were taken in self-defense and there were no grounds for my arrest. It was not even a “stand your ground” case. What followed immediately was a campaign of race-based defamation and incitement against me, led by Martin family attorney Benjamin Crump.
I am the last person who ever expected to be accused of being a bigot. I am Hispanic. My mother is from Peru. I speak fluent Spanish. I was an Obama supporter and a social activist. Just a year earlier, I had led a community-wide effort to get justice for Sherman Ware, a homeless black man who had been attacked by the son of a white police officer. Two weeks later, prosecutors went to Miami to interview 16-year-old Diamond Eugene under oath. That’s when, as I recently learned, 18-year-old Rachel Jeantel appeared, claiming she was Diamond Eugene. Despite the discrepancy in name and age, prosecutors interviewed Rachel Jeantel anyway and used her obviously false statements to issue an affidavit of probable cause for my arrest. The rest is history.
Hollywood filmmaker Joel Gilbert just released a film and book of the same name, The Trayvon Hoax: Unmasking the Witness Fraud that Divided America. He investigated the public records and made a discovery – Rachel Jeantel was an imposter. She was not “Diamond Eugene.” She was not Trayvon’s girlfriend. She was not on the phone with him before our altercation. She lied in court about everything she claimed to have heard over the phone in order to send me to prison for life.
In The Trayvon Hoax, Gilbert not only proves that Rachel was a fraud, he actually finds Trayvon’s real girlfriend, Diamond Eugene, studying Criminal Justice at Florida State University, of all things! Gilbert also identifies those who knew about the witness fraud, such as Trayvon Martin’s mother Sybrina Fulton, now a 2020 Miami Dade Commissioner candidate. Gilbert also identifies the attorneys who likely knew and/or should have known about the witness switch.
The damage the trial did to me and my family has been devastating. I suffered from PTSD and, as a result, acted out for a few years before finally returning to the person I was. I was kicked out of college due to threats against the staff by the New Black Panthers. I lost my career path to become an attorney, and to this day I cannot work or even circulate in public. In 2015, someone tried to kill me. The bullet missed my head by inches, and the shooter got 20 years in prison. Today I remain in hiding, as does my family due to constant threats, which appear almost daily in rap songs and social media rants.
Ironically, Trayvon Martin and I ended up having much in common. We were both used to divide America for a political agenda. Since the trial, I have watched in horror as those who incited against me have divided America along racial lines. Black Lives Matter started as a result of my acquittal. BLM took its vigilante act to Ferguson, and the resulting “Ferguson Effect” led to a sharp rise in homicides in black neighborhoods. Even today, Benjamin Crump continues his false race narrative (and defames me) in his new book entitled, Open Season: Legalized Genocide of Colored People.
I have now taken up the cause of bringing America back together again, and I intend to do it by revealing how the country was deceived. I feel that if I can expose and hold accountable those at the origin of this evil witness fraud, the healing can begin.
I have hired attorney Larry Klayman in his private capacity, founder of Judicial Watch and now Freedom Watch. I am suing Rachel Jeantel, Brittany “Diamond” Eugene, Sybrina Fulton, Tracy Martin, Benjamin Crump, prosecutors Angela Corey, Bernie de la Rionda, John Guy, the state of Florida, the FDLE, and HarperCollins Publishing for in excess $100 million.
