The absence of the big orange You-Know-Who at center stage of American life has changed the mood of the scene from a five-alarm fire to just another day in a collapsing civilization. Texas went medieval after an ice storm took the power down for millions, with ramifications accreting by the hour — especially the countless burst water pipes that will take forever to repair. (How many plumbers are there in San Antonio?) Food went scarce overnight. People died in their cars. The political blowback has barely registered yet, except for Senator Ted Cruz slinking back home from a luxury resort in Cancun, whoops, and Beto O’Rourke shooting his mouth off like a cholo with a Saturday night special at a low-rider parade on Cinco de Mayo.

Covid-19 cases are going down fast across the country. If it actually goes away, imagine the giant hole left in the national narrative. No more arguments over lockdowns, kids could go back to school to learn about the scourge of whiteness, and Americans could see each other’s faces again. The “progressives” in power would have to hunt up some new reasons to cancel the bill of rights. That shouldn’t be too difficult for a party adept at making shit up. Right wing extremism would be my bet, even if Antifa and BLM go back to partying in the streets like it’s 2020 when the weather warms up.

What won’t go away is the nation’s fantastic economic mess. In just a few months since Thanksgiving, the financial system has gone through an epic shift, barely noticed by citizens preoccupied with unpaid bills, skipped rents, and empty refrigerators: the stock markets are now based on Bitcoin, which is to say on less than nothing. A whole new dynamic has emerged with publicly-held companies buying the stuff hand-over-fist. An outfit like Tesla, rumored to manufacture electric cars, invested $1.5 billion in the crypto-currency, which has shot up to over $50,000-a-coin in recent weeks. The move was so splendidly shrewd that Tesla’s stock price also shot up, though they don’t make a profit on those cool cars. Of course, $1.5 billion is chump change for the charismatic Elon Musk, whose share of the American GDP can be seen from outer space, like the Great Wall of China.

Other companies are buying Bitcoin on margin, taking advantage of super-low interest rates to make a fast killing. What a great idea! Even better than borrowing to buy back your own company’s stock to jack-up the share value. Don’t be surprised if half of the S & P jumps into the Bitcoin frenzy, bidding it up to six figures. Won’t that do wonders for US productivity and working-class wages? None of that will escape the attention of a “progressive” Congress, which will see a great opportunity to try to compensate for its fiscal profligacy by passing new taxes on “excess wealth” or “windfall profits.” Then, watch the rush-to-the-exits by shareholders in those companies that loaded up on Bitcoin, aggravated by the margin calls on the dough they borrowed to buy the stuff… as well as Bitcoin itself plummeting back to its actual true value: around zero.

Meanwhile, Covid or no Covid, there is now a very large class of people across this land who either can’t or won’t earn a living, and we are seeing last year’s idle chat about “guaranteed basic income” (GBI) rapidly congeal into solid policy proposals to supply just that. It’s insane, you know, having nothing to do with producing things of value, but such is the new faith in monetary techno-magic — of which Bitcoin is the exemplar — that the reigning grand viziers and necromancers of economics are unanimous that it’s actually possible to get something for nothing now. I’m sure enough Republicans would go along with it — in terror of their broke and wrathful voters — to pass GBI.

The wild card, though, is how quickly we will destroy the value of the dollar as all this occurs, that is, provoke a king-hell inflation, so the people will get their GBI in worthless money. Nobody believes it can happen after ten years of quantitative easing and other shucks-and-jives in the accounting thickets that seemed to hardly move the inflation needle, except on Wall Street. But anyone who sets foot in a supermarket these days must feel a little shocked at food prices. A dollar for one measly onion… eight bucks for a little flat of ground beef…? How do people with no jobs or lost businesses feed their families? Do they get a warm tingly feeling knowing that Tesla shares are also up? Or are they out in the old toolshed at midnight, sharpening the pitchforks and soaking rags in kerosene?

Perhaps Ol’ Woke Joe Biden will explain where all this is going in his upcoming State of the Union Address scheduled for next Tuesday, according to the Associated Press. Oh, you didn’t know about that? I wouldn’t blame you. There is absolutely no buzz about it in the mainstream media, like, they’d rather not think about it. Yes, the alleged President goes before a joint session of Congress in a few days, with every other dignitary in government on hand in the chamber except the lone “designated survivor,” off in a secret bunker somewhere. Won’t that be something? With the whole world watching on TV, too, including, no doubt, a few foreign heads-of-state who Veep Kamala Harris confabbed with last week because the, ahem, president was too busy… or something like that.

Yes, if there’s one thing Beto O’Rourke won’t tolerate it’s some privileged white man with undeserved wealth living in the lap of luxury..

None of this will make much difference once the credit markets implode, causing all bad debt to fall into a black hole. Then, all minds will be wonderfully concentrated on one thing only; well, two things, wlhat’s for dinner and who to blame.

    • ThorsHammer February 19, 2021 at 3:17 pm #

Why be such a black cloud? You should be celebrating the demise of all the Corvids that have been roosting in all the winter- bare trees and keeping us locked out of the restaurants and bars.

Amazingly, the number of new cases started its rapid decline on the very day after Savior Biden was inaugurated. Of course that was completely predictable for anyone in the .000% who understands basic mathematics.

Ever since Medical Doctors practiced blood letting with leaches, a medical case referred to someone receiving a physician’s diagnoses and care. However all of that was cast aside when the Pandemic swept over us (with it’s fatality rate somewhere about that of the annual flu). Suddenly a “case” became anyone who tested positive on any test that reacted to the past presence of a corona type virus or the resulting leftover fragments. For the saliva:”Quick Tests” the probability of accuracy is about 50/50. For the gold standard PCR tests the outcome is entirely dependent upon how many times the initial swab sample is amplified. There is absolutely no international standard or commonality between US laboratories. My personal physician is part of the committee that supervises tens of thousands of “quick tests” that have resulted in our county being designated the most infected region of our state. Yet for his PCR tests he has no idea whatsoever how many amplifications Abbot laboratories uses on the samples they send out.

If a PCR test produces a positive result after 25 exponential magnifications the probability of active Corvid is quite high. At 40 exponential multiplications as is standard in the USA the result is basically meaningless. As a matter of fact if you have no symptoms but still test positive the probability that it is a false positive is 97%!!! If you use 50 amplifications as was common in France my pet rock will test positive for Corvid virus.

Combine the statistics for a Pandemic basically pulled out of the ass of “experts” like Fauci with a political climate that manufactures FEAR to manipulate its serfs, and the shape of the Pandemic curve is completely under the control of the Overlords. Want to turn down the Pandemic Curve? Just change the measuring standard for testing.

      • Yohannon February 19, 2021 at 4:07 pm #

A very powerful tool, because meaningless and fraudulent. They can invoke terror or relief, lockdowns or open ups, at will.

      • SpeedyBB February 19, 2021 at 6:16 pm #

        Regarding ThorsHammer’s comments.

Last week I was driving through Jakarta, on the way to meet a potential client, I got a troubling email from my assistant. Just one word: POSITIVE.

I was bewildered. Absolutely no symptoms, living up in the hills where the population is very thinned out. Anyway that put the damper on the day’s plans, but I thought it worthwhile to go for a second diagnosis, since the renewal of my visa application would depend on it.

The first PCR test was only the unpleasant jabbing down the nasal passages, which I did not reflect on until later. Don’t they go down the throat as well?

Second test, in the afternoon, results by WhatsApp three hours later: NEGATIVE. No surprise there – the surprise was the previous “false positive” for which of course no one takes responsibility or offers a refund of the $85 it cost me.

Imagine if that test had been designated by an employer or bureaucrat and the results shot directly to them. Heap plenty bad medicine.

Faith in the system continues to thin out and evaporate.

        • ThorsHammer February 19, 2021 at 9:47 pm #

          Speedy
Bear in mind that your negative Quick Test will not be accepted for permission to board a passenger airline like American Airlines. They will require a certified PCR test, and if you produce another false positive you will be banned from air travel.

Perhaps Aeroflot will allow you to travel within the Eastern bloc.

          • GreenAlba February 20, 2021 at 6:04 am #

            Or perhaps not.

            https://www.aeroflot.ru/ru-en/covid-19#:~:text=Upon%20arrival%2C%20passengers%20are%20required,hours%20before%20the%20scheduled%20arrival.

“Foreign citizens travelling to the Russian Federation, including passengers in transit through Russian airports, upon check-in and boarding must submit a medical document (certificate) in Russian or in English showing a negative Covid-19 PCR test result obtained no earlier than three calendar days before arrival in the Russian Federation. The validity of the PCR test certificate is calculated starting from the date the biological material was collected. Passengers who cannot present a certificate will be denied carriage.”

All medical tests – in fact, all tests of any sort, have false positives and false negatives. Just as there is no perfect human being, there is no perfect test. Something I learned working as a medical lab tech 45 years ago.

It’s a great time to be selling anything that has performed well, in my case, vaporous Bitcoin. I stumbled into it, and did well, but just lucky…

Yes, debts will disappear, likely in a way that will cause maximum pain to investors and borrowers. This likely will be very ugly, and NO ONE knows how this will work out. There are a lot of ways this could work out, lots of moving parts.

“Going Galt” looks better and better everyday. Paper assets are now very dangerous. Buy hard assets instead. “Gold Bitchez!”

i’m short the market for end-of-times predictions and have done really well the past 100 years

    • Ron Anselmo February 19, 2021 at 10:31 am #

Careful Rube, short-selling comes with risk of infinite loss. What goes down, must come up. Usually hubris involved by those in denial, who think they’re smarter than everyone else. Hope you cover before starving.

      • ThorsHammer February 19, 2021 at 3:35 pm #

        Ron,
Only fools and the infinitely rich short stocks. Why choose infinite exposure when you can short using options and control risk?

Back in the day when there were actually markets instead of computer front running I made most of my profit by naked selling options. But I always dealt with large volume and highly liquid stocks and closed my position with an order with a trailing stop immediately after entering the trade. Controlled risk, controlled profit.

        • Ron Anselmo February 19, 2021 at 4:44 pm #

Thor – Well, I’m no fool, and certainly not infinitely rich, but built a large scaled-in short position starting in 2006, in CME Case-Schiller housing futures. No need to tell how that trade turned out, covering in 2008.

If the introduction of housing futures contracts at the time wasn’t a dead giveaway – so lenders could cover some of their overexposure – I don’t know what to say. Many are simply blind.

Same time-frame, short Harley-Davidson. As soon as the housing ATM’s, used to buy all the adult toys, ran out of cash, HD stock that had gone vertical dropped like a bad habit – a no-brainer.

Latest short, another no-brainer – Carnival Cruise Lines, short @ 41, traded to 8, but covered a week later @ 10.

Your method makes complete sense. I prefer to “sharp-shoot” naked short opportunities, which are always there – too many think long only, as is the conventional mindset.

Lastly, I agree with you 100% – “Back in the day when there were actually markets” – real easy to get whipsawed by the algorithms now – or even a f**king tweet.

Nowadays, to stay in trades, it takes a big fat wallet in addition to big brass balls. In the old days, you could generally get by on the latter.

          • ThorsHammer February 19, 2021 at 9:33 pm #

            Hi Ron
I’d be the last to say you can’t make money by gambling on naked stock shorting. You just have to bet on the right cards like in poker. I can make $1000 per hour counting cards at blackjack counting and playing the entire table– Until a very large Italian gentleman picks me up by the collar and throws me out the service entrance. Winners are not allowed in that game.

Works the same for a ordinary mark playing the stock casino. The only difference is that the bouncer is a supercomputer sitting a nanosecond closer to the trading floor than you.

            Ps:
I never hold an open option position for longer than 48 hours. It will either make 15-20% profit or automatically cover itself and close out for a small loss.

  4. malthuss February 19, 2021 at 10:20 am #

Biden, Harris, Pelosi = the end of the USA.

    • Rodster February 19, 2021 at 11:06 am #

      Newsflash !!!!!

The end of the USA happened many decades ago. We are just now starting to live. Grab some popcorn because that’s all that could be left to eat in the coming years. I’m so glad i’m no longer a teenager because the future will be harsh for the young generation when this global financial fraud comes crashing down.

Soon Jim the Chauvin & Co. trials will take place in the burned out Little Apple, as the snow melts away here in the Old Northwest. The state of Minnesota & city of Minneapolis in particular, are scrambling to figure out how to handle the coming waves of left wing extremism & wokester outrage, when Chauvin & Crew are most likely found not guilty on most, if not all counts.

Recently, the state legislature blocked a $35 million ” Minneapolis law enforcement fund”, which would pay a vast array of police departments & agencies from the across the state to stand in and pretend to be the Minneapolis police department– who have lost over 200 officers lately, and has a petition floating around to replace or abolish it.

You can read all the drama on the Star Trib. site. In the comments you can find yours truly agitating against the left wing extremists. Join in!

Anyway, the outcome of this trial will set off another round of looting & mayhem around the nation.

Of course, DC is under military occupation at least thru this coming Fall (interesting timing, isn’t it?) and we’ll see every Target & DSW warehouse store boarded up– since those looted Nike shoes are probably worn out by now.

      • MisterBimmler February 19, 2021 at 10:42 am #

Here in Portland Oregon they’ve doubled down on the cheezy yard signs. Homeowners and businesses have all the slogans painted in their windows as well, in a perhaps forlorn hope of avoiding breakage. A city that bemoans the fact that demographically it has very few people of as Brett Weinstein puts it, ‘recent African ancestry’. Though if I were black, I wouldn’t want to live in the big open air homeless camp Portland has become.

        • vengeur February 19, 2021 at 11:33 am #

        Yep, dangerous games of agitprop

BLM made its millions, and its slumbering until the Chauvin trial, when it will reawaken shambolically– like a Black Frankenstein powered by the electricity of white wokesters– to demand more money from corporate America.

This event will be very dangerous no matter how the verdict(s) come down. Not just the Twin Cities, but major cities all over the country. Hell, probably in the UK as well.

Bug-out bag is and a full tank of gas is not a bad idea in the coming weeks.

    • draupnir February 19, 2021 at 1:01 pm #

My cousin’s husband is the judge in that case. I read that Minneapolis, quite nervous now, has quietly voted in 64M or so to replace those officers who quit in disgust. Personally, I hope they have trouble finding candidates, though I suppose there are always the Somalians.

      • PeteAtomic February 19, 2021 at 6:57 pm #

The Somalis are an interesting, and odd, people. They consider themselves racially superior to the American blacks, and they are very business minded.

But they don’t want to integrate into larger US society. So, this is why they can run the ballot harvesting the way they do (Project Veritas) or don’t think twice about fraudulently running $100 million dollar day care schemes. Or, in the case of Mohammed Noor, shoot an unarmed woman in Minneapolis, out of hand. The Somali community also has started their own odd protests in Minneapolis, like shutting down the freeway because of some assassination of some hardly known leader of some tribe back in Mogadishu, somewhere.

        • draupnir February 19, 2021 at 7:28 pm #

The women are fine. They’re pretty much like women everywhere, but the men are awful. A friend of mine sheltered a teenaged girl, who was escaping her family and community, for a while until she could be moved on. My friend said they were actively hunting the girl and planned to kill her.

      PA

Mayor Frey appeared on Court TV, looking mighty nervous. He’s praying Chauvin is convicted on all counts. What’s left to loot and burn in Minneapolis? Hartford got burned out and looted in 1968 and the city never recovered. I’m thinking it might be slim pickings for BLM mobs inside Minneapolis this time around and they might be looking outside city limits to carry out their renewed shopping spree for free merchandise and the latest model sneakers and flat screen TVs.

St George had 5 felony convictions, was passing counterfeit 20s, resisted arrest, and was dosed on meth, opioids and THC. He also had Covid (and wasn’t wearing a mask) If the trial isn’t a total kangaroo court Chauvin and the other 3 officers will walk easy.

      Brh

      • PeteAtomic February 19, 2021 at 6:51 pm #

Large areas of Minneapolis are shitty nowadays. Lake Street, which was the heaviest hit, has been a crap area for many decades. A buddy was telling me that when he lived down there, in that same neighborhood back in the 70s, he’d walk around with a baseball bat for personal safety.

The Phillips neighborhood of Minneapolis has been a black ghetto for a very long time. North Minneapolis has been known as a rough area for a very long time, as well.

There are still some very nice parts of Minneapolis. I don’t know how long they remain as nice as they were.

Would I ever live there, now? Hell no.. absolutely not. It’s dominated by a delusional city council with a woman from San Francisco named Bender as the Council President, and Mayor Frey from the East coast there somewhere. Neither of them have significant ties in the area. Beyond the safety issue, you also have a burgeoning homeless population in the once beautiful parks of the city, as well.

Ok, yeah. I can get some super creative street food, maybe. I don’t give a shit about that. I need my children to be educated, and I need to get around in the city safely. I also need to be able to afford the property taxes. All of these things are real questionable.

        • SG-71 February 23, 2021 at 12:54 am #

Pete, greetings from a nearby community affected by drugged-up angry white man violence. Stay strong. Minnesotans will prevail and restore their great state in time. The land that supplied the Iron Ore for the WW2 effort will one day find an iron will when it seems the bottom is in. Minneapolis will be put in its place. It’s not the people within Minneapolis who are the problem, never has been, it’s those running the joint allowing lawlessness and the white Lake Minnetonka liberals who ignorantly benefit from the corruption.

Yes. Tulsi, proven, smart, attractive, intelligent, all things not-Kamala – and not an Oakland, mattress-back whore like Ho’ Harris – Tulsi just needs to tighten up her views on 2A, and she’d make a great Cabinet-level contributor.

          • Yohannon February 19, 2021 at 9:03 pm #

A much darker picture will begin to emerge after you read this:

            https://conservapedia.com/Tulsi_Gabbard

An ardent globalist as well as a gun grabber, she has repeatedly come out as being against abortion while voting for the right to late term abortions, thus betraying her Guru, Prabhupad, and her alleged religion, Vaishnava Hinduism.

Fellow Vets question her right to her awards, as she saw no combat whatsoever, serving mostly as a bureaucrat.

          • Ron Anselmo February 20, 2021 at 12:34 am #

Thanks Janos, she could certainly be a wolf in sheep’s clothing. For what its worth though – even being a diehard Trump (or at least Trump policy) supporter, I’d rather watch Tulsi surfing than DJT on the links. Just sayin’.

Hey, I don’t care for the Dems or Kamala Harris, but why all this casual smearing of her gender and accusations of sexual promiscuity? It’s the sort of low-down thing males seem to indulge in without even thinking about it.

          • Ron Anselmo February 21, 2021 at 11:09 pm #

Suzin, on gender, can you please name me one man who blew his way to the top? Didn’t think so.

Whole Foods is earning their whole paycheck nickname.

In my local store, the cashiers stand idle at the registers, while at the one ‘cash accepted’ aisle there is always a line.

I have. And I say ‘good riddance’ to them.

There’s a good way I respond to the drone people you refer to. I tell them that soon they will be wiping their asses on $20 bills. The look on their faces and whatever emits from the mouths in verbal form is priceless.

“they will be wiping their asses on $20 bills.”

          Coal.
Hold on just a goddamned minute…

With a pic of Harriet Tubman on the new “Buckwheat”, you will be sanctioned as having committed a thought/hate crime. Remember the (apocryphal) story of the Russian given “a twenty” for wrapping a fish with a newspaper having the pic of Stalin? Die Kulak!

          • Night Owl February 19, 2021 at 3:45 pm #

Eddie Murphy as Buckwheat on the new 20 would be epic.

Or we can just dispense with the idea that the US is still a real country and put President Camacho on there, M-16s in hand.

I always wondered what Brawndo tasted like. No doubt it’s market introduction can’t be far off.

“Remember the (apocryphal) story of the Russian given “a twenty” for wrapping a fish with a newspaper having the pic of Stalin? Die Kulak!” — elysianfield

Similar to the historically documented case, from Solzhenitsyn, of a woman seamstress who was ironing a dress in her shop one day when a customer burst into her store with some urgent business matter. In her haste, she put the iron down on a newspaper picture of Stalin’s face. The woman customer, unbeknownst to the seamstress, later ratted her out.

The seamstress got ten years hard labour as a “political dissident” (politicals were given consistently harsher sentences than thieves or other actual criminals), and when that was up, they slapped another ten years on. Can’t remember if she survived the 2nd sentence.

          • elysianfield February 19, 2021 at 5:55 pm #

            Soul,
            Remember the old joke,(again, Solzhenitsyn)

A guy got arrested and sent to the one of the Kolyma camps. One of the zeks approached him and asked him his sentence…he replied “10 years”. The zek then asked him what his crime was, and he replied “nothing”. LIAR screamed the zek…for nothing you get 20!

          • Coalclinker February 19, 2021 at 8:06 pm #

I suppose we should consider Soviet stories to understand the higher realms of insanity, but I don’t think things will last that long. We have a clearly busted economy under very weak and fearful “leaders” who couldn’t manage to outlaw and confiscate firearms years ago.

    • Blackbird February 19, 2021 at 11:06 am #

Note how Trump Derangement Syndrome affected the “Covid” discussion/argument. Trump’s “lax” reaction to the “pandemic” so infuriated the anti-Trumpers that they demanded to be locked down, put under surveillance, forbidden to consume dangerous information, and injected with untested concoctions. Due to the polarization caused by his presence, Trump was the perfect tool to have in place at the top of the US machine at a time of “unparalleled… worldwide crisis”. I doubt so many would be rushing to the protective embrace of the Masters of the Universe were they not fleeing in disgust and terror from the Golden Golem of White Nationalism.

      • Beryl of Oyl February 19, 2021 at 11:14 am #

The irony is that President Trump was listening to Fauci and Birx long after he should have let them go.

I tried to contact one of my state representatives on the topic of perhaps ending Andrew Cuomo’s emergency powers, several months ago. One of the reasons being that he made a decision all by himself that killed tens of thousands of New Yorkers.

Of course I was not permitted to speak directly to said official, but his minion only wanted to talk about Trump, Trump, Trump.

My sister has been blocked. She lives on social security disability and discovered that she had $33k in a retirement account from 30 years ago. She doesn’t want to take the money because it is too hard to request it (?) and she feels it will make her benefits go away. WTF??
She has TDS but also works hard at being a victim. It drives me bonkers!

      • Ishabaka February 19, 2021 at 12:33 pm #

Social Security will take disability away if you earn over a certain amount. In 2021 that amount is $1,170/month. Retirement savings have no effect on Social Security Disability Income. They do have an effect on Supplemental Security Income, and people often confuse the two.

            I’d call it a “mostly-peaceful” protest.

It was no different to any number of the BLM protests that wrecked your cities last year. A large group of people gathered. Some broke into a building. So what?

I see Antifa were also there doing what they do best, and CNN paid handsomely for the videos.

Calling it an insurrection only highlights the sheer cognitive dissonance affecting your broken nation.

I have. It sucks to lose friends, especially ones you’ve had for decades.
On the other hand, who wants to have self-righteous prigs in your life, constantly going around virtue-signaling and condemning anyone and everyone whose opinion isn’t exactly like theirs — then clucking about “bigoted Republicans” attacking the sainted “Other.” (Irony!)

As I said in the comments section for another JHK essay, I lost a good friend of 30-some years over this shit. He went from being a Reaganite to a “moderate” who’s adopted every Woke position while illogically saying that anyone who doesn’t support Wokesters betrays Reagan. The last straw was when I asked him whether he agreed with the sentiments of Kameltoe Harris and others that all Trump supporters must be “made to pay for their crimes.” His reaction was to tell me that’s what we deserve. What can you say to that other than “have a nice life”?

I’ve noticed that commenting on the articles under newspaper outlets is heavily censored nowadays.

If you are voicing an opinion that is contrarian in any fashion to a strict ideological boundary– your comment will not show up.

The bar is very low, too. I’m not talking about subjects that are at all even controversial.

For example, recently (in the Star Tribune) I was attempting to point out that the rioting in Minneapolis was not the work of “Russian agents or white supremacists” (both of which were alleged by Minneapolis city officials). It was perpetrated by people like (allegedly) Felan & Yousif.
    https://www.startribune.com/rochester-couple-suspected-in-torching-of-st-paul-school-stores-during-civil-unrest-are-caught-in-m/600024675/

My comments are censored out. Why?

Advance Publications – owned by the billionaire Newhouse family – has eliminated public comments on its newspapers, largely as of the beginning of 2020. But then again, they are the majority shareholders in Reddit.

The silencing of the public is/was an transparent ploy to silence dissent.

      • Blackbird February 19, 2021 at 11:15 am #

I’d say not so much abstraction as fantasy. Team D True Beliebers I know describe a candy-coated rainbow-wrapped Obamatopia crushed under the boot of Trump Nazis – and a team of superheroes who have rescued us from a New and Improved Holocaust. A world completely disconnected from the physical laws hold the universe together. That’s a hop, skip, and a jump beyond abstraction.

Are the stories about Bill Gates still conspiracy theories?

He did a long commercial on 60 Minutes, sponsored by Pfizer, where he detailed many of his plans for the world and everybody in it.

Does that count as evidence to back our wild theories?

Bill is suffering (or maybe not suffering, maybe he wants it that way) from estrogen dominance. This is not a healthy way to be. Why is the world taking medical advice from a man who certainly has the means to maintain a basic level of fitness, but who chooses not to?

    • MrMangoOnMyShoulder February 19, 2021 at 11:08 am #

      It is confusing.

Kind of like the junior high gym/health teacher who smokes and weighs three bills, telling the kids to keep doing those crunches.

      • rainmaker February 19, 2021 at 12:06 pm #

We had one of those at Boonville HS, (MO) He probably weighed about 300 lbs. Used to make the kids run track while he puffed a cigar. Of course he died of a heart attack.

    • neurodoc February 19, 2021 at 11:19 am #

Better question is: Why is the world taking medical advice from a gender confused computer geek college drop out, who never went to medical school, nursing school, PA school or even nursing assistant school? Making big $ does not make you an expert on things you never studied or can never understand due to lack of actual education. Perhaps we should let bezos do brain surgery and zuck perform endarterectomies, since they’re both rich.

      We live in idiocracy!!!!!

And we will not survive as a society. I’m starting to think that

No, I took a Little blue pill, and now believe that all tests, including COV tests, are perfect with no false positives or negatives, that the vaccine is a real vaccine and not an experimental intervention, that biden is potentially the smartest and most informed president of our age, and that the government is always here to help us and would never deceive or harm us.

      Well let’s see.

So far he is on tape claming we need 0 Covid and that every person needs to be vaccinated in order to return to normal life. Vaccine passport prototypes have been developed.

He is a major shareholder in the companies developing vaccines at a pace previously thought impossible for a disease that is not dangerous and from a family of diseases for which no vaccines have been successfully developed.

He is saying we need to start eating synthetic meat (us of course, not burger-loving Bill), and he is now the largest owner of farmland in the United States.

Those theorists are looking good at this point.

Now let us compare with the other theorists — the corporate news conspiracy theorists.

Manchurian Candiate evidence — anyone? Trump Dictator? No? MAGA terrorist network? Bueller? Planned insurrection to take over the government? Tumbleweeds.

One of our resident prog conspiracy loons is free to chip in here. Hard evidence is always welcomed.

Bill Gates went through MKUltra mind control like all the current ‘leaders’. He’s a shell of a person and just a delivery person for the Rockefellers or Rothschillds or whoever owns Big PHarma the WHO and WEForum

which conveniently conflates FIVE conspiracy theories, all you can say is “IDK…TBH.”

You were so embarassed you could not respond. I believe the subject was “Trump Dictator.” Then you claimed Wiki never labelled Kunstler far right. And you got owned again via the Waybackmachine. You were so desperate to save face that you even posted the quote that contained “far right,” claiming you could not find the term in your own quote. You then disappeared again.

Furthermore, there is a treasure trove under “Majella” and “Freddie Mars.” Your two banned handles.

Any update for us on the Nazi thing? Is our host a Nazi and is this blog far right?

I feel comfortable in assuming Mr. K has read the seminal work of Dr. Joseph Tainter, “The collapse of complex civilizations”. And I bet more than half those opining here have either read it or read summaries here and there. Does it not seem as though events are playing out according to his script? The combination of increasing over-reliance on centralization of decision making taken together with the reflexive cheapness of corporate America have left the society with no flexibility to respond to crisis and no resilience or sense of obligation to serve by those who are elected to do so. Add in an information delivery system that was delberately manufactured to manufacfure not just consent but gape mouthed and bovine compacency. So when resources are scarce there is always a soothing voice of ‘science’ to tell you it’s all gonna be ok.

The urbanites of Houston TX are now getting a lesson in reality. How much is “real estate” in TX “worth” now? Canned beans and soup, and a few cases of bottled water are cheap, but no one seems to think about these simple preps until there is a crisis. People have some screwed up priorities for sure. The cel phone and cable TV bills, and the smoke are more important for lots of people, they think that .gov is gonna take care of them when the SHTF.

    • SW February 19, 2021 at 11:04 am #

I got a copy of Joseph Tainter’s book for my son-in-law this Christmas. It’s something many who post on this blog would find interesting and he has many examples of what happens when “the more you chew, the bigger it gets”.

The Texas grid froze up but I was lucky to only have rolling blackouts and no water for two days. A friend a few miles away has a broken pipe and frozen septic system. And no plummer. Or flights to Cancun. When this becomes more of the norm as energy sources decline and we’re forced to cut back, the anger of the people will be uncontrollable. There were interviews on TV with people who had been without heat for a week who were cooking on the grill outside, standing in line at the grocery stores that were open (with pretty empty shelves) and gas stations were running out of gas.

      • So many liars February 19, 2021 at 11:17 am #

I looked up Tainter’s book on Amazon and read a few pages. Then I looked for it in the local county library. Surprisingly, they don’t have it anywhere in the system.

      • Beryl of Oyl February 19, 2021 at 11:18 am #

I haven’t read the book. I will run out to my local library today and get it.

Oh wait no I won’t they have all our books locked up.

We can make an appointment and they will bring a book outside to us, as long as we are wearing a mask.

        • Ron Anselmo February 19, 2021 at 11:43 am #

Beryl – make that two masks, and you’ll get faster service.

          Don’t forget to microwave it.

    • Slugoon February 19, 2021 at 2:59 pm #

I remember Tainter’s work being a very, very dry text but still the best explanation of why and how the Roman Empire, the Maya etc. collapsed.

I made extensive notes at the time of reading and just looked back over them. Some of the characteristics of collapse he put forward were:

“First and foremost, a breakdown of authority and central control … revolts and provincial breakaways signal the weakening of the centre.

“The populace becomes more and more disaffected as the hierarchy seeks to mobilise resources to meet the challenge.

“…no longer can the populous rely upon external defence and internal order, maintenance of public works, or delivery of food and material goods.

“Remaining populations must become locally self-sufficient to a degree not seen for several generations.”

It’s interesting to see things unfolding along these lines on an inevitable trajectory towards a World Made by Hand. However, Tainter goes on to suggest that, with the world now full, collapse will not happen in the same way since a failed country or region will simply be absorbed by a survivor, which to me points either to a game of ‘last man standing’ or an engineered global government.

I’m afraid that it will be so, that they will next go after the right wing extremists, and I’m also pretty sure that by right wing extremists they mean Trump supporters, millions and millions and millions of Americans, including me.

We committed an armed insurrection at the Capitol, where no arms were confiscated, where a police officer wasn’t struck and killed by a fire extinguisher, and a guy from BLM was paid to film an alleged murder of a woman Trump supporter, paid 70k by two media outlets.

    • MrMangoOnMyShoulder February 19, 2021 at 11:00 am #

“I’m afraid that it will be so, that they will next go after the right wing extremist”

The scary part is all they’ve gotta do is get one or two jackasses, preferably sporting mullets, to pull a trigger somewhere in public while wearing an American flag t-shirt or a MAGA hat, and then the moral high ground goes away for the entire right. At least that’s how it will be presented, a la the Capitol buffoonery.

Then watch the rhetoric ramp to dangerous levels from the left. You know what I mean, calls for confiscations, etc.

Nearly no one actually wants violence. But let’s face it, there are always a few screwballs out there who are not so predictable or reliable.

One of them decides to make a scene, and watch out for the floodgates to open.

      • Yohannon February 19, 2021 at 11:32 am #

In other words, you will support the Totalitarian State because “violence”. No matter what we do or don’t do, they are going to do this unless cooler heads can prevail at the top.

        • MrMangoOnMyShoulder February 19, 2021 at 12:05 pm #

“In other words, you will support the Totalitarian State because “violence”.”

That’s quite a lot of words you put in my mouth there.

But, no. Just pointing out that violence changes things, and most people don’t like violence (in real life, at least), nor do they like change.

And there’s a big difference between random violence and organized violence, in how said changes roll out.

When R. M. Nixon took the USA off the gold standard, the value of the USD held because the real backing of the dollar was not all that gold in Ft. Knox, but the productivity of American industry.

48 years later, where is that vaunted productivity? Is America at its Willy E. Coyote moment? Has it run off the cliff and is hanging momentarily in mid air before the law of gravity kicks in?

    Just asking.

I actually saw one of the COVID higher-ups at the White House get asked the question which so far hasn’t been allowed into the news cycle.

I don’t remember who asked it or what his (the official’s) title was.

He was asked how Florida without all the mask voodoo and shutdowns etc. was doing so well handling the virus compared to the places with the lockdowns.

Yes, someone acknowledged that bit of reality that can be seen with one’s own eyes.

He didn’t have an answer, he muttered something foolish like there is so much we don’t know about this virus.

People have had their lives ruined, kids are killing themselves, Americans with other disorders have gone without life-saving medical treatment, and this well-paid boob professes ignorance of the truth?

I think Ebola is a politically approved disease (like AIDS) and a dose of it will get you on a Boeing 747 flight into DC, free medical care, fast tracked US citizenship, and SSD payments for the rest of your life. Also, you can bring over your relatives from the Congo.

Meanwhile, I’m hearing rumors of the unexplained and sudden deaths of nursing home residents after receiving the Pfizer shot, many within hours. Though these deaths are carefully not attributed to the mRNA injection, the number is greater than would be expected.

They state this alleged vaccine will not prevent a covid infection, and it is unknown whether you will be contagious if you catch it, but they say it will mitigate the effects. In the meantime, it is masks and social distancing for all for the foreseeable future. The pressure to get it is already intense and I predict it will intensify. I read of one women in New York who lost her job because she was 34, trying to get pregnant and worried about the effect on fertility. She wasn’t even a candidate for the injection yet, not opposed per se, and simply wanted to wait.

Being one of those people who does not believe the government is a benign entity with our best interests at heart, I question the true intension behind this.

    • thirdcoastlegend February 19, 2021 at 10:59 am #

The monomaniacal focus on the vaccine is one of the most disturbing aspects of the current world scene.

      • draupnir February 19, 2021 at 11:36 am #

Madagascar and I think, Tanzania, have so far successfully refused, despite pressure from WHO, to consider injecting their population. Tanzania insists they have no COVID. Madagascar admits to having COVID cases, but prefers to treat infections medically (possibly traditionally).

        • Blackbird February 19, 2021 at 11:43 am #

I’m pretty sure it was Tanzania where a goat and a papaya both tested positive. By now it has probably spread to naked mole rats and Twinkies. If anything, I’d say they have a greater need for vaccines.

I’ve read that in places where malaria is common quite a few people are taking anti-malarial drugs like HCQ hydroxycloroquine (yes, the same drug that has been proven to be an effective treatment if taken early after onset of symptoms. So if Tanzania has a lot of malaria, maybe they have a light covid load.

Parasite problem in many parts of Africa.

Ivermectin has been carried OTC there for decades and many take it regularly. Possible reason there is low incidence of Covid?

Same for certain regions of South America.

    • Beryl of Oyl February 19, 2021 at 11:00 am #

Alex Berenson is one of the very few reporters covering this. He gets asked why, if what he is claiming is true, why is no one else covering these alarming statistics?

He doesn’t have an answer for that.

Speaking of New York, it alarmed me, shocked me even, now that the story of the nursing home deaths due to Andrew Cuomo’s decisions is being reported in the mainstream news media, how many of New York’s elected officials are only just learning of this.

The story is ten months old.

      What else don’t they know?

I’m sure of one thing, they are totally ignorant of how much better Florida is doing than their state, because Florida dispensed with almost all the voodoo superstition.

      • thirdcoastlegend February 19, 2021 at 11:08 am #

Knives are out for Cuomo from across the spectrum.

I’m tempted to say this is a good thing, but who follows him may well be worse.

        • Beryl of Oyl February 19, 2021 at 11:23 am #

Yes, there is definitely some kind of struggle for dominance going on within The Party. Andrew was riding high, the MSM built him up to a godlike status, even gave him an Emmy.

Now it’s all come crashing down.

          • BackRowHeckler February 19, 2021 at 11:44 am #

I think Coumo was angling for the VP spot once Beijing Biden gets the hook in a few months. Central Party has someone else in mind so the distinguished gov had to be purged before he causes any more problems.

          • thirdcoastlegend February 19, 2021 at 12:16 pm #

Probably Stacey Abrams, who has been disturbingly effective as a kingmaker and de facto governor of Georgia.

That would be a lot worse than Cuomo.

          • SW February 19, 2021 at 1:08 pm #

Stacey Abrams will be the keynote speaker for SxSW this year. It will be virtual but it looks to me like the Democrats are grooming her for a larger role than just governor.

Cuomo must’ve made someone really, really mad. He’s being put in his place (so to speak) and my guess is he’ll remain there –cringing — just to hold on until he’s back in favor.

    • Yohannon February 19, 2021 at 11:39 am #

Yeah, I’m not sure where Mr Kunstler got the idea of no masks. Almost everyone is saying that we must keep them on “indefinitely”, or at least until global herd immunity by 2024. Surely new covid crisises will keep pushing that back until people don’t even dream of freedom anymore.

I am not getting the jab either. Personal choice. I have one more summer trip to California and then I am staying on this side of the Mississippi and driving. Makes me wonder why they are so intent on folks being coerced to take the vaccine. A military think tank predicted that the American population would fall by 2/3rds by 2025. Makes you wonder why they have that prediction. A new type of vaccine and limited testing. What could go wrong?

No one can legally be forced to take any experimental drug/vaccine that has NOT been proven to be safe, this according to The Nuremberg Principles.

If I HAD to get a jab I would do the one shot Johnson and Johnson vaccine based on the weakened Covid virus and not biotech mRNA technology. But I won’t “have” to do that.

Instead I will follow the researchers at Merck who threw in the towel on a vaccine and who have advised using prophylactic means like Ivermectin, Zinc, C, Selenium and Vitamin D3 plus getting Covid and building our own natural immunity.

The only problem is that U.S. doctors generally won’t prescribe Ivermectin unless you have a diagnosed case of parasites. Getting a script for Ivermectin in the U.S. for “off-label” reasons, especially by any HMO etc. ain’t happening.

Gee whiz Wally. I wonder why the CDC isn’t launching clinical trials on the above protocols???

      • Tate February 19, 2021 at 7:53 pm #

LOL, you can buy a bottle of 365 gel caps of Vitamin D3 (2K i.u. each) for roughly $16. That’s a 3 month supply assuming you use 4 capsules daily. Using 6K to 8K of Vitamin D3 daily taken orally may provide real benefits against the Wuhan virus. But I’m not a medical professional, how would I know? I’ve been taking 8k i.u. daily for almost ten years against the advice of my PCP. Most M.D.’s in practice today are biased in favor of Big Pharma. You think Fauci is biased in favor of Big Pharma?

I live with an ‘MD’ and it was he who advised me to double my Vit. D dose for the duration of Covid. Likewise to take a daily baby aspirin (anticoagulant, anti-inflammatory and inhibits viral replication). His actual words, re the baby aspirin, were ‘you’re not supposed to take it without consulting your GP, but fuck that’. So obviously I don’t advise anyone else to do their own thing in that respect, unless they want to (especially if female).

He was vindicated by a recent American study, but still …

          https://www.biospace.com/article/releases/new-landmark-study-at-um-school-of-medicine-finds-aspirin-use-reduces-risk-of-death-in-hospitalized-covid-19-patients/

The nurse who gave me my vaccination also mentioned Vit. D.

          • Yohannon February 20, 2021 at 11:30 am #

Blacks and the Southern Caucasians are more prone to disease because they can’t make their own Vitamin D at these latitudes, evolved as they are for fiercer suns. In other words, they don’t belong here.

          • GreenAlba February 20, 2021 at 12:28 pm #

And all those Caucasians who don’t belong in Australia, South America and South Africa have got sunblock to remedy their -problems, just as Vit. D is available for pennies (and free in milk?).

My mother had red hair – partly why I don’t suffer from SAD, possibly. 🙂

          • Tate February 20, 2021 at 4:42 pm #

I agree, it’s unlikely your M.D.s are as biased as ours. Not as money-hungry.

I started taking vit D3 many years ago after becoming convinced it “might could possibly likely” protect against cancer. But how would I know, I’m a lowly consumer.

Reality is a harsh mistress. I once went without any food to eat for days. I have slept in a junk car in a junkyard, and all this while I was working every day at a regular steady job, and wearing clothes held together with safety pins. I was exploited, cheated, and outright legally robbed by a selfish, greedy coterie of officials. America, our reckoning is nigh. Truth is outlawed.Read the book of Proverbs and heed. Take it as one who knows what our lives are worth to the ptb. Your life is yours, not theirs.

My mom grew up on a farm in the Ozarks, with no indoor plumbing or electricity. When it got cold, they threw another log in the woodstove, and when it was mealtime they went to the root cellar and got some potatoes, and home canned goods. This was the ’40s and ’50s, mind you, not so long ago in human civilization. The critical problem now is human overpopulation that was caused by cheap fossil fuels, now in decline. Of course, here at Clusterfuck Nation, I’m preaching to the choir.

My husband grew up without even electricity, let alone plumbing, living in a house on coal mine property in the 50s and 60s. This was in Ohio near the West Virginia border. The youngest of 13 children, he had some interesting stories to tell and so did his siblings. I thought we were poor!

I don’t know whether this is real or not. If it is real, Hillary will try to pass it off as fresh evidence of collusion.

Even if it isn’t real, it’s a fact that the regime is doing this.

It’s obvious that the Plandemic/Scamdemic is becoming clearer by the day. It’s the reason Fauci and Joe Bidet keep scaring the public with new more powerful strains. It’s becoming a joke but the people who tune in to the MSM propaganda still believe it.

I recently came down with a seasonal cold. I had a scheduled appointment to see my doctor. I was asked the typical Covid questions and I answered yes to coughing and sneezing and told the receptionist who met me outside that I had a cold, nothing more.

I was told it was Covid. I told her, well shouted out in public that Covid 19 was a bunch of bullshit. Her response was, “I hear you man” but I can’t let you in. So I got tested a 3rd time and was negative, again.

Last week on the news there was a clip of a grocery store in south Florida where the checkers and customers were not wearing masks and the talking heads were tsk, tsking it — putting other in danger, dangerous mutations, naughty, naughty. Two days ago they had the EXACT SAME CLIP on and were “celebrating” that Florida’s cases had been dropping and life was returning to normal!! A miracle!

Tomorrow will be one month for Biden and in one month from now, the narrative will have turned again. Even Newsome in California is opening up, probably to avoid being thrown out.

The dem junta that has usurped power is now frozen in fear as to exactly what they’ve stolen. Too many hatches on the USS “United” States to secure against the onrushing waves of the economic/social/
fiscally bankruptcy tide rushing in. Attempts at keel hauling the former Captain failed and has led to half the crew in mutinous ideation. The new captain is continually out of sight below decks, no doubt with the young powder monkeys. The first “mate” (she’s been mated to the entire crew) prowls the deck, hoping to catch the captain topside, unawares and be done with this farce. At home, Queen Nancy awaits the spoils of plunder to come from her ship, praying they avoid the shoals of the Constitution rocks ahead. We wait with baited breath, mesmerized.
Sweden bans masks as “useless”. Bidet spurns Saudi Arabia for Iran, with Israel (bidet just now found Bibi’s number) gearing up for the newly awakened Hizbollah to initiate the ball. (In that Bibi is former Sayeret Matkal, does one really want to push him?)
cnn, debased Blasio and the always Entertaining douce Baldwin have cut away Cuomo. No Oval Office Mario, more like an oval
Shitter. Bidet’s Cub Scout like staff reveal the NEXT stimulus bill will cost 3 Trillion. Green stuff, ya know.
Texans waking up to former $357 bill is now $8000 for monthly
    power. Holy shit, Bidetman!
On the home front, second ice storm a no show. I now have 1/2 cord of hard wood cut and stacked. Life is good, moving to great.

Good lord, I hadn’t heard about that. Have some family down in Houston…

They lost power and later sent pics of their house with burst pipes, ceiling panels drenched and smashed on the floor, etc.

But perhaps they’ll be better off dealing with getting that fixed than having to pay such a ridiculous power bill?

      • thirdcoastlegend February 19, 2021 at 12:19 pm #

Water damage is as bad as fire; I dare say many of those houses will have to be abandoned.

Just wait until people start reading the MOLD CLAUSE in their insurance policies. Remediation after a few days of soaked wood is a lost cause. Remember those houses selling for dirt back in the 80’s around Houston during the oil-bust? How about Eddie Childs on the radio and bumper stickers that stated – “I’m Mad Too, Eddie”. No doubt, some bumper-sticker entrepreneur is going to coin the $$$$ slogan and ride off into the sunset with Tulsi Gabbard. Like my 95 year young MIL says – “To Each His Own”. She was watching the Texas debacle and opined: “Aren’t you glad we live where people know how to take care of things?” I didn’t have the heart to tell her Michigan is a basket-case.

          • beantownbill. February 20, 2021 at 12:28 pm #

Funny you should mention Houston real estate in the 80’s. Bands of hypesters travelled the country trying to get investors to purchase blocks of cheaply-built single family homes for around $12,000 a pop. Rent them out, wait a few years and sell them when prices rose. I even attended a seminar at a local Marriott with one of the groups that were on the road. The presentation was quite slick.

I knew a local developer who originally did business in Houston. He told me there were no zoning laws in Houston and every developer built anywhere with no regard for location. Land was cheap and the developers slapped on housing. Houston was in the midst of an oil boom and oil workers flooded in to work there. New apartment complexes were being built almost daily.

JHK has got it all wrong again! Ingenious thinkers at the WEF have a clear path to the paradise of the future in which the GBI plays an important role:

You can see a short version here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHOmnDw_TYc

You will no longer have to put up with the tribulations of ownership!
You will own nothing. Everything will be a service. The wonderful Ida Auken has more details:
you will not pay for rent as your living room will be in use by others when you are not there (really means: you won’t be able to be in “your” living room most of the time).

You won’t own even clothes, kitchen utensils no longer needed: mostly you will eat out, food (prepared by ??) but if you decide to cook on your own you will order kitchen utensils (from you cell phone) and these will have been (manufactured by ??) to much better quality standards than now and will be delivered to your door in minutes (by ??).

For some reason there will be a stove in your dwelling (made by ??)
even though it is not really needed. Where the cell phone comes from and who maintains cell service is not discussed.

Everything will be a service and most ill be free (because ?? will provide it free of charge) and nobody on UBI will have to work (because all the work is done by ??)

In this theory the (…??) are missing details. Either these are unfortunate psychologically unhealthy individuals who feel an urge to work despite UBI or maybe Morlocks working underground for unknown and unimportant reasons.

The wonderful Ida Auken (minister for the environment, Denmark)
    can be admired here:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyl-1B3PkXw

    Enjoy!

People will borrow my clothes when I’m not wearing them. Is that healthy? Or live in my place when I’m not there. What if they trash the place? Will I have to live in other people’s places part of the time?

      • Blackbird February 19, 2021 at 11:55 am #

Yes Yo, while “your” place is getting trashed, you will be trashing somebody else’s place. The “Tragedy of the Commons” coming to your pod, your pots, your pants.

        • Yohannon February 19, 2021 at 12:06 pm #

I can’t let that stand. I might assume you know better, but your comment above puts that into question. Part of you knows better, and part of you doesn’t. We need Commons, but Privates are not Commons. The Tragedy of the Commons is some individuals using the Commons but not chipping in. Privatizing the Commons in other words. Oh wait, that kind of what you just said. Ok.

I was surprised at the vociferous defense of Ted Cruz by some Republican types, over what wasn’t a crime or dereliction of duty, but basically a PR boo boo.

Republicans don’t defend themselves or other Republicans, customarily.

That was before I found out that Fredo, he of the faked COVID quarantine, had made some pointed remarks aimed at Ted about what leadership is.

I really don’t understand why politicians don’t understand that their place is with their constituents when there’s a crisis — not laying on the beach. It’s insulting that they consider themselves so entitled and the voters so stupid that we’ll all just forget.

It’s hard to guess where this is all going. The GBI is not such a bad idea, I mean in Finland (where it’s been piloted for two years) or Sweden (where it’s being debated for two years) because they are societies with a built-in welfare state and social cohesion unknown in America. In the US., it’s hard to fathom without a complete tax system overhaul which is hard to fathom. Both countries have a highest tax bracket close to 60% which applies to personal income 1.5x that of national average , which in the U.S. would fall in the 22% category. (The highest US federal tax is 37%). It is obvious that the Biden’s administration does not have a clue, and Bernie-Warren-AOC solutions have idiotically drastic time frames to have any chance of passing in the Senate. The Left does not grasp that while a dramatic tax reform is necessary, it needs to phased in relative to the health of the economy. (The same with minimum wage). You will find that among the pile of useless, idiotic, and harmful Biden’s “social justice” executive orders there is not a single one that would tax even the most obscene profits that few corporations make in the covid-19 skewed playing field. In the meantime, Bezos and Musk are building spaceships, the Waltons gobble up supermarkets in Japan, and Bill Gates buys real estate the size of Lombardy…I guess that’s what the Democrat cretins figure the Republic needs most at this point in time.

Sweden has massive social problems including neighborly interaction via high explosives.

Here is the world in the GBI utopia: you will receive this income which will just barely keep you fed on low quality food. You will not have to hold down a job. But of course you will be expected o give back to the community providing so generously for you.

Say you will be expected to do 80 hours of community service, picking up trash, cleaning up radioactive spills, guard duty, … stuff that completely unskilled illiterates can do. You will be illiterate as there will not be a school for you to go to — why go to school when you don’t need any skills?

Information will be conveyed to you in pictorial form, instructions in simple spoken language that is easy to understand.

This community service will feel like work of old, except it isn’t, no benefits, no retirement. People hardly reach a retirement age anyway, the concept of retirement is not defined at all if you do not work, retire from what?

So in effect you will be working for 5 USD an hour and do this completely voluntarily. You will hardly need any money since the efficient house of the future with all its 200 square feet can comfortably accommodate 15 persons.

In short you will be in the same position as seasonal harvest workers from Mexico in OR or CA today except with no home to back to.
Happily though you will be able to live in the great city of the future (supply lines will no longer extend into the country and most of the land will be closed off to the bottom 99.995% of the public anyway).

The city will have a green zone in the center with gleaming towers surrounded by a wide circular moat of water flanked by mine fields enclosed by barbed wire and accessible by flying car only — but not for you of course.

You yourself will live in a favela type slum-ghetto and marvel at the few flying contraption passing overhead. Transportation will consist of your feet and increasingly decrepit bicycles on bare rims, some without chains suitable for downhill locomotion only.

One thing that puzzles me about Range Rover announcing they will mfg strictly EVs after 2025, aren’t Range Rovers designed for traversing rough country out in the boonies? I mean adventures way the f#kk out in the middle of nowhere? What happens when you drive your 300 miles into the outback and run out of juice? Are there any trendy charging stations outside Juba, S Sudan? You’re stranded, friend. And when cannibals and headhunters toting spears and rusty (but still functional) Kalashnikovs come a calling, what do you tell them? That you have a minuscule carbon footprint?

Have you seen what passes for a “Range Rover” recently? Indoor/outdoor carpeting is too “off road” for these shiny trinkets. Owners of electric Rovers will rarely stray more than one extension cord from home.

Blackbird, I had an old 74 Range Rover Classic, paid $900 for it from a neighbor who was moving out of state. It was none too reliable but it didn’t matter because we just drove it around town. Many times I had to tow it home with my Silverado. Finally I sold it to a junkyard; the junkyard was in a small town west of here across the highway from a diner we’d eat at sometime. Well, they dropped the Rover out front and we’d see it whenever we drove out there. With the aluminum body it still looked good even tho it was 30 years old. About 10 years went by and the vehicle was still out there; one day after breakfast my nephew and I walked over to take a closer look. Some of his toys were still on the front seat from when he was a little kid in plain view. We opened the door and grabbed them.

      ‘Row,
I once gave a jump to a ’68 Rover on a trail in the piney woods of Florida. Enough room in the 6-cyl engine compartment to smuggle a small Mexican family in relative comfort. The owner said the whole thing could be taken apart and put back together with a crescent wrench. Those old Rovers will still be creeping through the woods when the new ones have become luxury Tiny Homes.

I know Blackbird I wish I’d kept the Rover I had.

My wife was complaining about it taking up space in the driveway being broke down half the time. So I got it towed out to keep the peace around here.

“Biden Admin via a DOE directive refused to let Texas ramp up energy production” – Trolley-Boy.

Not sure how you come to this conclusion. See the highlighted phrase:

Given the emergency nature of the expected load stress, the responsibility of ERCOT to ensure maximum reliability on its system, and the ability of ERCOT to identify and dispatch generation necessary to meet the additional load, I have determined that additional dispatch of the Specified Resources is necessary to best meet the emergency and serve the public interest for purposes of FPA section 202(c).

Doesn’t read like any kind of “refusal” anywhere in the 4-page document.

In any case, the nat-gas & coal-fired systems couldn’t operate, for the most part, due to…the weather.

The order shows that David Huizenga did not waive environmental restrictions to allow for maximum energy output.

ERCOT was ordered to utilize all resources in order to stay within acceptable emissions standards; this included purchasing energy from outside the state at a highly inflated rate.

Yeppers. Looking at the big picture, it doesn’t really matter what the Dems or Reps do to finagle an extra swindle or two out of the imaginary economy– Bitcoin and the rest of the make-believe financing that we use to allocate goods are all going down. I can’t think of a more deserving party to be holding the tiller when the ship of state hits the rocks.
Meanwhile, in the countryside where I live, more and more people are planting fruit and nut trees and raising chickens. Our weekly farmers market used to have only fruits and veggies, but now there are sellers of beef, pork and chicken. Their prices are higher than the grocery stores, but not by much at this point.
Hopefully at least some of those tower-dwellers in Texas who aren’t too far Woke can arise from their slumber and find some new digs, where a veggie patch and a couple of chickens are a possibility….

Of course, I still have to figure out what I will barter with at the Farmer’s Market when the currency collapses. Pretty sure its not going to be Bitcoin…

The US Dollar’s source of value? One’s faith in it. (Certainly not Gold!)

If the US Dollar becomes worthless? One no longer has faith it.

A government’s basis of power to rule over its citizens? One’s faith in it.

When a government fails or loses power over its citizens? One no longer has faith in it.

A religion or some kind of social philosophy’s source of power? One’s faith in it.

When people fall away from a religion or some other form of belief? One no longer has faith in it.

2005. I was naive, the world was in control and a really good place. The government knew the world and was in control.

2005, I watched JHK on a program talking about railroads and the need for them to be improved. I went out a bought The Long Emergency. It was a life changing experience for me to read it. I put it down three times before I finished it before my naïveté was destroyed.

2008. I watched what happens when the PTB are allowed to run the country.

I have read JHKs follow up books and despaired at the accuracy of his interpretation of the big picture.

I have observed the decline of this country with a cynic’s eye since 2008. Nothing has been done to try to bolster the country by the Deep State, quite the opposite, the Deep State continues to fortify itself against the American people in their unquenchable thirst for power. That girding of Washington by fences, walls and the National Guard is so indicative of how bad it has gotten.

One beam of hope emerged in 2016. A businessman who knew how to run things. An relatively unpolitical leader that was willing to make a deal for the good of the economy and the people.

And the Deep State destroyed him.

My cynicism has turned to despair as I watch the current group of idiots in DC destroy what is left of the common sense of what it takes to run this country.

And ignore every warning included in the book that started it in 2005.

You may not know that you are even on a secret list. Why?

When you travel or do business overseas you may be trailed and tracked unknowingly– by the CIA
This info is held secretly, why?

These 3 orgs are simply the more visible ones. There are dozens of “intel agencies” “desks” “bureaus” and “administrations” working with and around these 3 major agencies. The pro-vaxers are even more knee-jerk than the anti-vaxers, thanks to the very effective propaganda campaigns. I used to think that at least the flu vaccines were harmless, but this past year will be the last one of those I submit to as well. Big pharma is not to be trusted in the least anymore.

      • Night Owl February 21, 2021 at 1:40 pm #

I think that is the key. There are some vaccines that have been around for so long that they can be deemed safe, and they are quite useful to have.

This vaccine does not appear to be safe, was not tested properly, and was created for a disease that is largely a hoax.

There is a middle ground between the anti-vax folks and the Branch Covidians.

  53. Pucker February 19, 2021 at 8:26 pm #

    Many people are extremely delusional.

For example, the athletic, but incompetent Bloke thinks that he’s really a woman so he transitions to compete with biological women. He wins the medals because his body muscle mass is 3 times larger than his biologically female competitors. Deranged bloke is proud of himself as a great female athlete. Deranged bloke with his big hairy dick uses the female bathroom pissing in the toilet while standing up.

The other catastrophic delusion now is the pervasive Authoritarianism in which people refuse to believe any information unless it comes from an “Official” and “Authoritative” source. They never look to whether the source of the information, “Authoritative”, or otherwise, has any conflicts of interest. Because of all of the concentration of wealth and power in the US, usually information channeled through the MSM is horribly conflicted at multiple levels, a total information Clusterfuck….

    • Disaffected February 20, 2021 at 8:39 am #

I guess I’m reverse delusional then, since I consider anything from an “Official” or Authoritative” source to be complete bullshit unless definitively proven otherwise. I trust personal experience and intuition first and foremost, and if that leads me astray, I can live (or die) with that. That method’s gotten me this far (60+ years), so I have nothing to complain about either way. No one gets to live forever and I, for one, certainly don’t want to anyway. People are sheep these days.

“Gimme sheep” It is important to realize that what makes the Democratic Deep State work are the gimme programs that keep creating worthless slobs that all vote Democrat. It is a positive feedback that has worked well for the Uniparty, but like Rome will eventually destroy the viability of the nation.

I’d say the population of “worthless slobs” is pretty evenly distributed across the political spectrum. And the sheep? They’re everywhere now. The wolves are growing fat on their carcasses.

What if the Society literally goes zombie, like in one of those late night TV zombie B movies?

“ Check out this except from an interview with Dr. Chris Shaw, Ph.D, Specialist in Neuroplasticity and Neuropathology. Here’s what he said:
“The mRNA lipid-coated PEG-construct– by Moderna’s own study–does not stay localized but spreads throughout the body including the brain. Found in animal studies in bone marrow, brain, lymph nodes, heart, kidneys liver, lungs etc Doctors are saying that the vaccine does NOT cross the blood-brain barrier, but that is NOT true. …If it reaches the brain there will be an auto immune response that will cause inflammation What characterizes virtually all neuro-degenerative diseases is this misfolded protein that is characteristic to Lou Gerrigs disease, to Alzheimer’s, to Parkinsons to Huntington’s etc. They are different proteins, but they tend to form these sheets of misfolded proteins called Beta Sheets. Now you are asking cells in various parts of the body–including the brain– to make alot of these proteins and release them to the outside, and , are we sure that’s what’ it’s all doing? Are you getting clusters of misfolded proteins inside neurons? That would be a bad thing to do.. So you’d like to know where it is, how much of it there is, and which groups of neuronal groups its targeted. .and those are the kinds of questions you like the companies to have solved long before they got authorization and discovered some years later that they have a problem.”

      They’re insane….

      • Disaffected February 20, 2021 at 9:09 am #

“Conspiracy Theory” = “I’m not listening anymore to anything you have to say.” PhDs in general are not definitive authorities on anything in particular. They’re generally only “experts” on whatever miniscule area of research they pursue (if that) and almost nothing else. Most are not really “experts” on anything at all unless they’ve pursued it for many, many years.

Common sense alone tells me that vaccines rushed through in violation of established testing protocols (which are themselves minimal now in many cases) for a virus that appears to be no more dangerous than the common flu should be avoided like what they might very well be: the plague. The medical community has evidently forgotten their original and primary mandate: FIRST DO NO HARM.

Try posting something of relevance or is that beyond your limited intellect?

        Found this very easily.

US funding of lab in Wuhan
The posts from NIH and Obama’s White House archives make no mention of a “bat project,” as the post alleges.

It’s possible the original post was referring to a grant approved in 2014 to the EcoHealth Alliance, a non-governmental research group that focuses on emerging diseases caused by human and animal interactions. The grant was for research into “Understanding the Risk of Bat Coronavirus Emergence.” The project involved collaborating with researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology to study coronaviruses in bats and the risk of transfer to humans.

The Wuhan Institute received only about $600,000 from the NIH, according to Robert Kessler, a spokesperson for EcoHealth Alliance.

On April 23, the NIH informed EcoHealth Alliance that it would no longer receive funding from the agency and that the remainder of its grant had been rescinded.

“What if the Society literally goes zombie, like in one of those late night TV zombie B movies?”

I’m heartened to find this question posed in a public forum as I have been concerned about this very possibility for a long time and feel like legitimate warnings have gone unheeded. For one, in a symbolic sense are we not already a society of zombies? As it is, some people describe those around them who are entirely immersed in their various screens and virtual realities (the vast majority?) as braindead to the world of actual things. And in the braindead virtual world canceling is cannibalism, except that this particular form of cannibalism can spill over into the real world if the the living braindead notice your virtual reality. So then enter these untested mass vaccine experiments into the equations, and do keep in mind that the entirety of the covid vaccine phenomenon is the most massive human medical experimentation in world history. The normal years and years of lab testing these vaccines is out the window. But why is that? Sure. I mean I guess it could all just be no big deal and the vaccines will prove to be safe and dandy. But! There is a possibility that these vaccines could transform people into mutated cannibals or rage filled lunatics. Or. What if the vaccines simply cause other health complications to occur in the vaccinated at some point in the future or what if these vaccines lead to intense and deadly immune reactions should the vaccinated come into contact with mutant strains of covid? Potential mass depopulation events? In any case, I would hope that people do awoke themselves to the reality that mad scientists do indeed exist and will bring hell on Earth when they have an opportunity to. And then again, there are scientists who are simply opportunists and profiteers and are therefore willing to push the limits. Potentially to a point of no return. So I thought it was a good question and a very important one and hopefully it is a reality that will never come to pass literally. But its probably not a bad idea to prep for a zombie pandemic..the truth is stranger than fiction and better safe than sorry and all.

We conservatives have got to stop ruminating about the crud. It is here, people will deal with it as they want, and more importantly it is going away fast now. All the variant BS will go away when the virus load ofbthe environment drop below criticality.

As it turns out, everything that people did to stem the tide worked until last fall when surge three started. It is hugely political but the event that probably caused the big surge was schools opening. Just like with the flu, the crud ripped through the schools, asymptomatically mostly and spread out to the younger adult population that were largely little affected by the crud. The fact that it may be just going away by itself, like 1919 and SARS 1, if herd immunity is getting close with the original strain. It is not vaccines, only 4%, it is not mitigation, anyone believing that more people are following the rules is a fool. It is approaching herd immunity caused by 60 x 70 % of the population getting the crud with little impact.

Yohannon et al have been right, with the exception that mitigation helped to keep the surges small until the fall. The hospitals survived the onslaught. With the exception of Cuomo’s stupidity in NY, the elders were protected from the onslaught. If most of the folks that died had gotten the flu instead, they probably would have died anyway. The crud was mild to folks less than 50.

I still say though, this country cannot just give up on the R&D to number one, kill the viruses in situ and number two, failing number one create a multi virus vaccine that will take care of colds, flu and the crud, crud one and all future cruds. The viruses are getting better at finding our weaknesses. We do not need an Ebola type combining with a coronavirus type to create an Ellie, extinction level event.

      • Yohannon February 20, 2021 at 11:46 am #

The immune system grows through combat. Trying to keep it free from all combat just weakens it and sets the stage for a knockout blow. And this is just from Nature, not taking Globalist Malice into account. Have you factored that in? That Gates and Co are obsessed with depopulation a la the Georgia Guidestones?

“You can cast nature out with a pitchfork, bit it will return” – Horace.

      • SoftStarLight February 20, 2021 at 2:54 pm #

Well I don’t mean any disrespect John but I do have to say that its a little funny to hear you say that we should stop ruminating on covid. I mean, for a while that did appear to be your primary focus. And you were very critical of suggestions that mitigations like masks, social distancing, and business closings were becoming over the top and damaging. Remember, I was part of that et al you refer to, though, I realize in the beginning of the whole covid thing I did have like a panic attack at first but then I felt like I did listen to reason. I don’t have any problems with the R&D you are talking about but I think that the reaction to the virus has opened Pandora’s box. There will never be a return to normal in the manner in which you are indicating IMHO. Government officials, the health “experts”, their business and banker oligarch allies, etc., know that they can essentially rule over and control society by decree under the cover of medical/public health reasons such as was/is the case right now with covid. People who dissent against the covid restrictions and measures are literally being jailed in so called advanced countries right now. Soon it seems that the vaccine, or lack thereof, will be used as a tool for controlling one’s freedom of movement, right to earn an income, and to speak, etc. So its still something to talk about and ruminate about.

        • Night Owl February 20, 2021 at 4:06 pm #

Well the evidence is overwhelming now that it was hyped to the point of being a hoax, from a narrative perspective.

Masks are useless, the disease itself is not a pandemic much less even particularly dangerous unless you are 80 with 2 preexisting conditions. And, of course, the vaccine is nothing but medical tyranny to enrich the producers and reduce plebe freedom as our Great Reset masters want. More tyranny.

But hey, did anyone think it was going to stop after the Patriot Act? Frog, pot. etc.

Naturally, it is now time for the chicken littles and Karens to focus on “something else.”

        • JohnAZ February 20, 2021 at 4:49 pm #

          SSL

My point has always been that we should have followed the very easy mitigation rules, distance and masks when that is not possible, wash hands, and maintain sanctuary areas, like home and car. And never stopped working and going to school et al.

It has always beenpeople that cannot follow those very simple rules that have caused the shutdown, have allowed the surges that have allowed the Left to use the surges as a fear factor to shut down Trump’s economy. Which is what they intended. If simple mitigation rules had been religiously followed, the surges would never have happened and the Left tool would never have formed.

We would now not be governed by the biggest group of idiots ever gathered in DC.

As it turns out the crud looks like it may have run its course,
          I hope.

As my brother says, half of the population is either crazy or stupid. I would add, And that’s just for starters. The rest are uninformed, angry, obsessed with some little thing to the point of distraction, disinterested, power mad, etc.

We can only hope that the Zombies are of the classic slow type, and not the 28 Days variety.

I agree. And I actually personally found the whole concept behind 28 Days Later, the rage virus, and the ragers much scarier and kinda more realistic than in other films in the zombie genre. And the mad scientists were the foundation of the story too.

All totalitarian regimes need a threat to rally the public. Climate change, no, climate crisis according to Kerry, is this Democratic government’s rallying cry. The Dems are insane, but cunning. As we have seen this winter, we cannot even predict out more than a week reliably. These people do not have a clue what is going to happen next year, let alone 10, 20 or 50 years from now.

We do know what is going to happen if we cut off FF, total catastrophe for millions of people. Can we let these people gather in DC to let these numbskulls know what they think of their austerity program. Feb. 6 will be nothing.

Trump is starting to rally the troops at Mar a Lago. 70% of the 75 million still stand with him right now. The other 30% will join in after the dust settles. Nikki Haley is feeling the effect of being a traitor to the conservative cause. RINOs need not apply, winnowing out the cowards will be a good thing.

All you TDS folks, it ain’t over yet, 2022 will be interesting. Without the focus of Trump, the Dems have nothing, nothing. The crud will be history and climate change idiocy will be clobbered by millions of people that have been affected by the GND insanity. Trump need to formulate a long term plan to offload the oil sector from need to provide oil for heat and transportation and be used for the really important thing such as plastics , medicines and agriculture.

      Pretty good article by Fred.

      E. what astound me about events last summer up until last weekend is that BLM/ Antifa mobs in the streets seem to have no fear of the Police or the Courts. On the contrary, they openly challenge police in the streets, taunt and provoke them, fight them, throw molotov cocktails, set squad cars on fire and burn down precinct houses; as far as the courts go they endeavor to burn down the Court House too.

So these people in the streets are not afraid of being caught in the Belly of the Beast. Last weekend in SPortland Antifa showed up at the police station and shovelled snow in front of the garage so patrol vehicles could not get out. When cops came out to clear the snow the mob greeted them with taunts and snowballs. These people did not seem to be afraid of arrest and prosecution, indeed, none of them were arrested.

Also, where do you see happening in the Chauvin Trial?

        Good article. The system is evil and it must be, considering its size. Strong family life is the only thing that prevent many from going astray – the very thing BLM and BLM curriculums are against as Tucker explained last night.         Eh , good , except for the usual huge flaw ;

99% of the accused are guilty.

Does that go some way towards assuaging your guilt that you didn’t take the Burger King Job instead ?

        ( yeah , that’s a bit harsh , but so are you. )

One hardly needs go to law school , but just leaf through a law book , though paying attention , to come to the realization that they could have nailed the Virgin Mary on SOME charge.

And some dumb , or dishonest Christians will tell you Christ was FALSELY convicted.

        Bullshit.

Either Christ HAD made statements that were seditious to Roman rule ,

or , he had made statements that certainly could have been interpreted as seditious to Roman rule.

This is analogous to laws concerning communicating threats ; whether the threat was meant , or serious , is neither here , nor there , but whether the hearer took it seriously , or claims they took it seriously. And if the hearer says so , you’re fucked.

Either way , he was indeed guilty .

How come these presumed do – gooders always leave out that significant part ?

Climate is what you expect. Weather is what you get. But that doesn’t mean climate isn’t real. Some of the folks who settled the Great Plains did alright at first, and then not. They lucked out in other words. You can’t farm the Dakotas like you do Illinois or Iowa. The Climate is different, much drier. Good for Wheat, not Corn and certainly not vegetables or fruit. Not without irrigation in any case.

You have the right to your own nations and cultures. Why shouldn’t Whites have the right to their own nations and cultures?

So the Climate Czar today is explaining how the frigid weather in S Texas is indeed caused by Climate Change, just like I thought. He uses a lot of double talk and technical jargon, but the upshot appears to be that a warming Arctic is pushing frigid air down into the lower 48. Something like that. A warming Arctic.? I checked the temp in Greenland and today it stands at -16°F.

The Climate Czar again stressed we have 9 years, only 9 years to turn it around and stave off doom. I’m beginning to get the feeling that the situation regarding climate change is so dire that no measures to combat it should be off the table. Humanity itself hangs in the balance! Ban fossil fuels immediately? Sure, why not? Shut down coal mines, pipelines, refineries, power plants? Well, OK. That’s what it might take. People will die, certainly, but think of the utopia at the end of the tunnel when we reduce temps by 1.5°F in the year 2120!

If the Arctic being warm is the cause of the polar vortices coming south, why is it colder as you go north? Your point I think.

Kerry is the dumbest politician to ever decorate DC. I would like to hear him discuss the real causes and effects of AGW on his own. I think we would be laughing our butts off.

Sidebar. The current theories say that If Greenland and the Arctic thawed, the Gulf Stream would stop and Europe would turn into an ice box.

It makes me ill that decisions affecting millions are being made by folks that are Know-Nothings.

“The current theories say that If Greenland and the Arctic thawed, the Gulf Stream would stop and Europe would turn into an ice box.”

That isn’t particularly controversial – it has been the consensus for a long time. A slowing of the Gulf Stream is thought to have caused the Younger Dryas, and perhaps also the Little Ice Age in Europe (around 1250-1850).

” Let me save you some time typing inanities. The point I was making, PussyAnna, is that some here by their ass fscking practice clearly belong to the Roman ruling class. The fact that they are not, might contribute to their fantastic misery. What do you think? Is a faggot being in political power cured of its Satanic misery? Does inflicting misery and genocide on others cure it of its misery? Does anything really cure it of its misery? ”

    — Akfomo

An interesting question , perhaps , given my view of things .

Specifically , I subscribe to the theory —

    — Note I said THEORY . I can’t prove it , and am willing to concede I could be full of shit —

    — though I DO believe it anyway —

    — That Hell is not a prison or a concentration camp , no one is driven there at gun point , and strictly speaking there are no locks on the doors.

I suspect Hell is full of volunteers , and nothing but volunteers.

How the Hell could that be so ?

Recall the famous line , ” Better to reign in Hell , than serve in Heaven ” ?

    Consider Serial Killers ;

No doubt some Serial killers are crazy , or have some profound biological defect as yet unknown .

But I have little doubt that some of them are perfectly sane , and reasonably fit of body.

That is to say that these things they do were the result of calculated , premeditated , sober reflection , and they did exactly what they wanted to do.

    Period.

    Simple as that.

That’s an extreme example to be sure.

    I think I could say , though , generally and sweepingly , yet still be understood ( ? )

that misery can be chosen .

Do you not think so ?

Whatever the truth on that may be , I dare say that it seems to me that sometimes when I suggest Hell might be voluntary that peoples reaction is DISAPPOINTMENT.

Which certainly seems to suggest ( ? ) that they WISH Hell to be a prison.

They DON’T WANT even the possibility of redemption* for , say , Hitler , or Jack the Ripper , But WANT suffering , EVEN IF ULTIMATELY UNNECESSARY.

Now , certainly that sort of misery is conscious , deliberate , and sober .

It’s chosen , it is wanted.

( * Btw ; ” They DON’T WANT even the possibility of redemption ” Is that not a good short definition of Satan , and what he is , and what he wants ? )

    • KesaAnna February 20, 2021 at 7:49 pm #

Well , I might add something.

No locks on the doors , how would that work ??

I would suppose you have noticed in this life that you can give a guy a million dollars , keys to a Porshe , a mansion on country club row , vacations in Monte Carlo , and so on , and he will still be an asshole.

But this is only bad news for the rest of us because we are to some degree at his mercy.

Well, it is hard to speculate about Heaven , but I think it reasonable to assume that in Heaven you are no longer at the mercy of assholes.

So why would hell need bolted doors or barbed wire ?

      • Yohannon February 20, 2021 at 8:16 pm #

Yes, Heaven is absence of assholes – the guy who beeps his horn the instant the light changes. There will be no assholes there, and no cars or lights either. We will travel in our ethereal bodies at the speed of the wind to wherever we want to go. Won’t that be great Kesa?

As C.S Lewis said, At some point the sheep and the goats must be separated for the sake of the happiness of the former. We will look down at them and laugh! Actually, Lewis and others say we may not even even remember or if we do, it won’t cause us pain. A strange heaven, that. Barnhardt: We will remember but without grief, knowing it to be part of the Divine Economy.

In contrast, a famous Buddhist said that he would insist of going to hell to share in their sufferings. This is the Christ like attitude even if heresy.

        • KesaAnna February 20, 2021 at 8:41 pm #

          I rather dislike Barnhardt.

Islam must be destroyed eh ?

I suspect some people so condemn the notion of Hell , not on the grounds of mercy , sympathy , empathy , compassion , restraint , proportion , and all that jazz , as they claim ,

but because of the inherent implication in such a concept that absolute power will never be arrived at , that others ( others they don’t even care about no less ) will escape their clutches.

For the record , I have seen a hell of a lot worse than Islamic fundamentalists , Thug-gee , or human – sacrificing Aztecs .

          But they are called civilized.

I think Bernhardt is a piss poor theologian frankly.

          • Yohannon February 20, 2021 at 9:21 pm #

You mean the person escapes their clutches by being sentenced to hell? Someone who feels that way is hell bound as well. The two will torment each other forever like the two Lazaruses in Star Trek. What a bizarre idea! How could going to hell be considered an escape in any case – unless the person wants to be the one who does the tormenting. Envying the demons in their work. Only you could come up with something like that. Or not liking Captain Kirk. That’s just not done, Kesa. Can you figure out why you don’t like him? I can understand not liking Barnhardt as she is a very difficult and abrasive person, though a fine theologian. But Kirk? Kirk? Try and understand why and then tell me. It will be most instructive for you and interesting to me.

JHK, thank you another interesting insights into our adventuress future.

You can worry about the church mafia, ancient roman secret societies or mother nature:

A brain-swelling disease 75 times more deadly than coronavirus could mutate to become the next pandemic killing millions, scientists have warned.

Experts told the Sun Online how a number of emerging diseases could trigger another global outbreak – and this time it could be “The Big One”.

The fruit bat-borne virus Nipah is a prime candidate for serious concern, they fear.

Severe brain swelling, seizures and vomiting are just some of the symptoms of this highly potent disease — which was first discovered in 1999 in Malaysia.

Outbreaks in south and southeast Asia show the virus to be extremely deadly, with a death rate of between 40 to 75 per cent.

Well, this is good news, and a little break from politics. The light rail metro lines in Tel Aviv, there are 3 lines being built with over 120 total km, are coming along nicely. The depot is almost complete and a good number of rail cars already arrived. All the underground tunnelling is completed. The stations the rail lines and the electrification works are about 50% done. Seems Tel Aviv will finally have a modern public transport system in 2-3 years time.

Same for Jerusalem. The city will replace its fleet diesel buses with a grid of light rail electric trams. There’s already one line operational. It will be further extended, and another two lines are being built.

Definitely a move in the right direction as far as urban living is concerned.

        A proper Palestinian nation?

        Why?

The Palestinians are the Blacks of Israel, totally unwilling to fit in even after having the welcome mat thrown at them many times, they still think they should control Palestine. Ain’t never gonna happen, too much Jewish blood spilled. Unwilling to fit into the Israeli culture, they need to just go away and found their own land? They are so out of touch, even the Muslim nations want no part of them

A perfect anomaly to the Blacks in America, misfits who would rather raise hell than try to advance and fit in to American culture. Why should they you say? Because they live here and are part of America, like we all are. The Oreos and Uncle Toms, their words, are proof that Blacks can fit in. Like the Palestinians, they just do not want to.

Without the foreign money and foreign propaganda, this nonsense would long ago end. It’s a Vatican/CIA/KGB mirage. A completely artificial conflict maintained and sponsored with billions of dollars to lay siege and war on Israel and the Jewish people.

Really what we are talking about are foreign mercenaries for the Vatican/CIA/KGB mafia entrenched in relatively small 4 biblical Hebrew towns now under racist Vatican mafia nazi control: Azza, Ramalah, Hevron, and Beit-Lehem.

These towns are Hebrew towns that go all the way back to biblical times, and they will return to being Hebrew towns.

The Turkmenistani mercenaries gathered from nazified Syria will be returned back to their German Secret Service Vatican/Nazi sponsors.

We see and we know very well who’s who and what’s what. The Bedouins of current day Jordan also know what we know. They know who is foreign and who is not, including their British installed King. It will not be long before what you see now in Syria you will see in Jordan.

” Perhaps you could go and explain it to these guys before they are hanged from a crane for nothing more substantive than a fashion trend. ”

Sorry , I was busy trying to explain it to the lynch mob instead.

    Odd you didn’t notice that.

By the way , historically , ” They were born that way ” can just as easily , or more easily , be used to fuck you over royally , as to free you or exonerate you.

” Serfs are born that way ” was not used to give serfs mansions.

” Niggers are born that way ” wasn’t used to give them Ferrari’s .

But a fashion trend ? at least in the long game , that’s hard to stay worked up about. Or so I think anyway.

” Seems to me that, given you claim even now to be happy with your early career choices, you could at least put a ‘we’ instead of a ‘you’ re the adultery and promiscuity bits? ”

If you want to play editor in this case , go right ahead.

    It wouldn’t hurt my feelings.

    And why would it ?

It wouldn’t substantively or meaningfully alter a jot of what I wrote.

No doubt others would disagree , but no way does it seem to me , not by a damn long shot , was hooking the most morally compromising way I ever paid the grocery bill.

I did FAR WORSE in jobs people disgustingly call , ” respectable. ”

But , in those cases , dare I say , with LESS free choice in the matter.

Not that it’s any fucking business of yours , but East Germany was a rather small country , but in its time , the most heavily militarized place on earth. I lived in two different places in East Germany , but in both I lived right down the street from an army barracks.

The most enduring image undoubtedly in my mind , is East German troops goose – stepping down the street.

And I recall , as if it were yesterday , my 6 year old self thinking as I watched them march by ,

    ” Those are my boys ! My lovely , lovely , lovely , boys ! ”

My dream as a little girl was to join the East German army , as a medic , not because of the medicine bit , but because that was open to girls , and medics went out on the battlefield UN – ARMED.

I thought THAT was incredibly romantic and heroic.

I really wouldn’t be surprised if my last thought when I die is of East German troops goose – stepping down the street.

Well , I never got to join the East German army.

    And good thing too.

All bullshit aside , and that is what it is ,

war is EVIL , if necessary.

And ALL governments are EVIL , if necessary.

And the necessity in NO WAY cancels out , or abrogates , the evil.

People fucking playing god when they aren’t even equal to dogs.

And yeah , that includes me.

If necessary, War is righteous if conducted as righteously as possible, and thus not evil. But of course it opens up large vistas of evil opportunities for individuals and groups that may not have been open before. But such people operated for evil during peace as well as best they could. In short, like crisis in general, it brings out the best and the worst in humanity.

” You mean the person escapes their clutches by being sentenced to hell? ”

Well , our host wrote above ,

” The “progressives” in power would have to hunt up some new reasons to cancel the bill of rights. ”

What the fuck does that mean ?

What are the implications of that ?

Let us say that a mans shit really does smell sweeter than the ordinary kind , that he really does walk on water .

Is his welfare safe and secure among other men even then ?

Good , bad , or indifferent , how does that alter the equation ?

If it does , it sure as fuck is news to me.

In other words, all assertion of self is evil. And thus since all people must assert themselves to survive, all people are ultimately evil.

All action is imperfect because people are imperfect. But we simply must accept that and do the best we can, leaving it to God to make up the difference between our best intentions and our flawed feelings and abilities in carrying them out.

The Medievals sometimes unburied people to try them again, and then punish them again, using their dead bodies as effigies. Perhaps this is what you mean: Man trying to take the place of God in terms of absolute judgement.

” In other words, all assertion of self is evil. ”

Well ….. I did spend my childhood in East Germany.

        And I was happy there.

So , Catholic or not , Monarchist or not , not doubt I have a deep and militant Bolshevik streak.

        Random thought —

While I cannot prove it , beyond a suspicion ,

I suspect the sexual revolution , humanism , bolshevism , feminism , and Debbie Does Dallas , has produced a hundred or a thousand fold more miserable celibates than the Middle Ages ever did.

Like , likewise , in 1900 there were more taverns and bars in America than McDonalds and Starbucks combined today.

And any town , of any size then , had a Red Light district.

And even more , Cocaine was a common prime ingredient in over the counter medicines.

And lastly , every Tom , Dick , and Harry was armed.

And yet I suspect , over all , America was actually a more tranquil place then.

          And Syphilis.

Don’t forget our dear godly friend, Syphilis. I believe most all of the german nazi philosophers and political hierarchy were best friends with our dear friend, Syphilis. Some observed that they were crazy in love with each other.

Of course it was. It had a dominant culture (that of people who looked like Ann Barnhardt, William Shatner and me) that had conquered and maintained order. And people were happier, at least we were, but I suspect the Blacks were too since they had their own culture.

Childhood is a sacred time for most. Woe to those for whom it is not. And cursed be those responsible. So you naturally loved East Germany, even though you didn’t belong there. See the Konrad Lorentz (German?) about duckling orphans bonding with beach balls and later, trying to have coitus with them.

If your love was real and not just mechanical, you would love White people (Germans are White) in general. But instead you are entirely comfortable with violence against us as you revealed in a fairly recent post.

” Seems to me that, given you claim even now to be happy with your early career choices,…. ”

    Since you mentioned it ,

Hey , maybe things REALLY are different in Scotland ??

But , certainly , in America , while sure there is an exception to every rule …..

I’ll let you know when I eventually meet the physician who married the buck – toothed , pimply – faced waitress who stands 5 ft 2 inches and weighs 200 pounds.

( Unless the waitress in question actually comes from country club row , and has a degree from Dartmouth , of course. )

While your being married to a physician does not impress me in the slightest ,

I do suspect you and I have far more in common than you would ever admit , and certainly not if it would cost you status.

But I won’t just pick on you.

    Take Janos.

He is a National Socialist , living in America , in the year 2021 ?

    Without knowing anything else about him , I know one thing ;

He is an outcast , an outsider , an exile , and always will be.

    Just like me.

Even if tomorrow the Blood Flag was unfurled over the US capitol , and the Horst Wessel Lied became the national anthem , that would STILL be true.

He might as well be mixed race or Black.

I do suspect you and I have far more in common than you would ever admit , and certainly not if it would cost you status.”

I would LOVE to meet you. Partly just to find out if you’d still need to feel the hate so exquisitely if you met my entirely unremarkable self in person. I am so totally not worth the hate. My guess is that if you’d met me as a teenager you’d have looked down your nose at me from a very great height, and probably the same at any other time too.

That you consider most career options beneath your sense of moral probity is not my fault. I guess I’m lucky that I’ve never had to do any work that I felt was morally compromising (although I did find forcing kids with no aptitude for or interest in foreign languages – easily verifiable by age 14 – to nevertheless study one till age 16 was a waste of their time and everyone’s taxes. I think the ‘system’ finally caught up with me on that point, but not until after immense amounts of time had been wasted).

You’re too funny. You think I have status – or want it.  I first met ‘the physician’, with whose imagined status you seem to be obsessed, when I was 48,  and married him when I was 58.That’s older than you are now. Status? Pu-leeze. I’m going to be dead soon. And the reason it took us years to get married was that a business bankruptcy takes 7 years to work itself out, after they’ve taken your home, your furnishings, your pension savings and your dignity, and he wouldn’t get married until he was no longer a bankrupt. Then you’re too old to borrow anything again anyway. That’s why we live in my little flat, which is probably half the size of your house. But he doesn’t seem to mind any more, since he’s no more interested in status than I am at this stage in his life. Which is probably why he hasn’t been arsed to do more than work part time since losing everything 15 years ago or so . Not that, to use your own delicate phrase, it’s any of your fucking business. But sometimes your clueless presumptuousness makes my eyes bleed.

WTAF would I expect you or anyone else to be impressed that I’m married to a physician? I’m not impressed by it and neither is anyone else I know. He’s not impressed by being a physician either – he wouldn’t touch it with a barge pole if he had the choice to make again. He’s got law degrees (bachelor’s and masters) as well as a medical degree – is that supposed to impress people too? It does nothing for me (didn’t do anything for him either as it happens – but he found it fascinating). And practically no-one knows anyway. Just as most of our neighbours, seeing him toddle off to the bus stop in his beanie hat, with his sandwiches in his backpack, have no idea if he’s headed for a hospital or a factory. He’s a history buff like you, so he’s more likely to talk about that.

The thing is, Chippy Lady, that there are things you know nothing about. Really, imagine that. And here I am justifying myself to you AGAIN. Except that it doesn’t take me 5 hours a pop because I taught myself to touch type on a loaned manual typewriter in my 20s. Took about two weeks (10 x 2 or 3 hours). Think of the time you could have saved. Although when you wrote about 6 bile-filled posts to me on the occasion of the death of my brother, which I didn’t read beyond a few words that stood out, I was retrospectively delighted that that hate took you so bloody long to spew, and for no purpose at all.

I don’t give a tinker’s cuss how many married men you had to shag to pay for your house. I know it took me 30 years to be mortgage free and I’m very glad my flat, such as it is, is mine now. But I do get sick of hearing you pontificating about family values, in the circumstances.

And you see, in my house, it’s me, kind of, who is the catch, not ‘the physician’, despite my modest beginnings, middle and end.

      • GreenAlba February 21, 2021 at 12:11 pm #

BTW, I’ve never been to a country club and neither has my prole-y physician husband, who paid his way through medical school by serving in the Irish Territorials from his teenage years onwards.

My modest degree paid the mortgage and the grocery bills. And probably the only reason I have one at all is because the grammar school system, back in the 1960s, processed the children of those who’d had to leave school at 14 (my parents) the same as it processed the children of engineers (your parents).

I wish for my pretty bright grandson that he might become something of value, like a master carpenter.

So whatever stopped your superior brainpower being translated into something that pays mortgages and grocery bills, it was nothing to do with me, and you’ll feel much more comfortable once you’ve ditched that chip. I simply don’t buy that not having papers when you left the DDR was an insurmountable problem for someone with professional parents, despite its ‘Windrush’ side.

        • GreenAlba February 21, 2021 at 12:14 pm #

Re grammar schools, if you passed the 11 plus exam, obviously, regardless of whether your parents were professionals like yours or plebs like mine.

      • Tekapo February 21, 2021 at 1:40 pm #

Nicely written GA … but not sure why you bother really … you don’t have to justify yourself to anyone about anything – especially to someone with such a grudge and big chip on their shoulder. And so much venom.

I have typically found that lots and lots of words usually come from either the self-absorbed or the manipulators.

A benefit to a message board/comment section is that one can watch how positions once held so ferverently and expounded on with so much condescension are adjusted for error as time goes on.

Too many people just want to get along. This is what keeps the decievers in business. You can’t get along with some people and still have any dignity.

I can explain it. Kesa is one of the twice born: she knows this world is Lie comprised of countless smaller lies. You in contrast, are one of the “brutals” (the movie Zardoz), a vandal and a gentile (Masonic titles of obloquy) – one who believes the world is what it advertises itself to be. Kesa cannot forgive you for this.

I can! If we took power, you would make a quick and complete conversion without ever realizing you had done so. But because of that, our psychologists would spot you as a “true believer” (a brutal, vandal, and sheep) and you would never be allowed to rise up past the lower tiers of the Party. Joe Biden admits when he wakes up he has to ask his wife where the hell are we!

Never before’ has the leader of the free world been ‘so cognitively compromised’
      19/02/2021|6min
It is clear US President Joe Biden is not up to the task he has been “sworn in to do”, according to Sky News host Cory Bernardi.

“Never before has the leader of the free world been so cognitively compromised,” Mr Bernardi said

“It’s clear to me at the least that US President Joe Biden is struggling with dementia and is clearly not up to the task he’s been sworn in to do.”

Mr Bernardi said it is something which was “evident” during the election campaign, but the “partisan and poisonous” mainstream media chose not to highlight anything which could have “derailed a Biden victory”.

“Even now, after he has been sworn in, many of them are still refusing to speak the truth about Biden’s lack of capacity.”

Joe Biden recently emerged to make his “sanitised” Presidential Town Hall Debut, at which the new president “promptly gave away his teleprompter”.

“The result was nothing short of a disaster … it was littered with total falsehoods,” Mr Bernardi said.

“It’s all rather pathetic, but even usually smart people are blinded by the nonsense put out by the mainstream media. They believe every perceived sin of Donald Trump while they seem intent on canonizing St. Joe.”

St Joe is a good label.

I’ve been looking at MSM sites this morning; nary a discouraging word about Sleepy Joe. Indeed, he’s the wise, dynamic leader we’ve been longing for all these years.

Bill Gates is all over the Sunday morning news programs explaining why people in Europe and the USA need to give up eating meat. I never gave Gates much thought, but I wonder if there is any link between his anti meat crusade and his buying up so much farmland in the USA. Article I read stated he owns more farmland than anyone else in the country.

One wonders how its Gates business WTF anybody else eats for dinner. I’m sure Gates has seen video of ‘Eat the Rich’ signs at Antifa mob actions; he’s aware then that there are people in the country who would like to eat him.

    • SoftStarLight February 21, 2021 at 1:54 pm #

I could certainly imagine that there is a link. It may also be possible that these massive land purchases are part of the Illuminati plan to convert most of the Earth’s surface back to primaeval wilderness. This is also a reason the federal government itself is seizing so much land IMO. In Gates’ ideal utopia it appears that any of the Antifa mob allowed to remain alive will be living in stacked boxes and doing the exact bidding of bionic superhumans (of which Gates will apparently be one) 24/7/365.

    Uh oh.

Just ready a modeling study that may put a damper on solar energy.

Basically, solar panels, black, absorb and re-emit more heat energy that the white to tan colors of the deserts of the world. Trying to make the Sahara an energy source for Europe, already happening, may do more damage to the climate than not using them. If the Sahara is covered with 20% solar, the global effect would be .16 degrees C increase and if 50%, .39 degrees C. That is just the Sahara, there is a band of deserts around the northern hemisphere that could be used to solar generate energy. What if 20% of them were covered. It would outstrip any advantage to solar. Their location, closer to the pole than the equator, will just speed up the Arctic melt.

This is why the “scientists” are dangerous, and the non-scientists like Bill Gates even more so. Messing with global heat and carbon systems may become a disaster. When someone tells you that the solution is easy for anything, it is time to put your guard up. Especially when those snake oil salesmen are politicians.

Yes more mad scientists at work. And also other things are at work that would have to be accounted for. For instance. The Earth’s electro-magnetosphere has been weakening, or so the experts say. And that allows more cosmic rays to enter directly into the upper atmosphere which apparently encourages and accelerates the formation of clouds. The Earth becoming a cloudier place likely doesn’t help solar? Chemtrails are real. Bill Gates basically said they are using sulphate aerosols to dim the sunlight. A side effect of that is that the ozone layer is disappearing again.

          • SoftStarLight February 21, 2021 at 3:53 pm #

That’s a good point. I didn’t think about the pole shift. I did hear about it but didn’t realize that it had moved into Siberia or the Eastern Hemisphere. But that would also explain the weak magnetic field and cosmic rays. And yeah, there is probably a lot more going on too than we are even aware of so it certainly isn’t settled.

The formula given: The secret of a good marriage is feminine submission. And the secret of feminine submission is constant pregnancy. Meet the Radfords! Twenty one kids. So rad!

I have little doubt that this is true. But what about overpopulation? Well Whites don’t need to worry about that (right now), since our numbers are dropping precipitously. It’s like driving: too far left and you go into oncoming traffic. Too far right and you go off the road.

But long term? Could we go back to Traditional Culture, say the middle and upper class lifestyle of 18th and 19th centuries? Where women were submissive but the ideal was to treat them well – and no forced marriages against their will? And with that ethos in place, they wouldn’t always have to be pregnant since the culture was helping to keep them in line.

Obviously Feminism would have to be crushed unmercifully when it arose. It has been a recurrent curse of Western Civilization back to the Ancient Greeks.

    CBS Local, Minnesota

We know this flu season has been extremely mild. Outside of COVID-19, colds and other viruses are also down.

So once we’re beyond the pandemic, what happens to our immune systems? Will it affect how often our kids get sick? WCCO spoke with Dr. Gigi Chawla, head of general pediatrics at Children’s Minnesota.

We know flu activity is extremely low. Minnesota has seen 32 hospitalizations because of influenza, and the season is halfway over. Compare that to the traditional average of 3,600 Minnesotans in the hospital with flu each year.

Could it be bad next year because it wasn’t so bad this year?

“I think we have a lot to learn,” Chawla said. “It’s really difficult to predict what those influenza seasons are gonna look like year to year.”

Could part of it may be COVID crowded out the flu?

Yoho: You mean Covid protects against the Flu? I never heard that said about coronaviruses before. 32 compared to 3600? C’mon dude or dudette, something else is going on. Go the the CDC website: the Flu is now categorized as Covid. As is “pneumonia” (lungs filling up with fluid), one of the ordinary ways that the elderly die. Such fallacious categories insure that Covid is never going away.

    • Slugoon February 21, 2021 at 3:39 pm #

Covid = rebranded flu. Based on that, and the pathological fear that is now rife in the public mind, yes, it’s never going away. It will be forever weaponised.

I am slowly resigning myself to the likelihood that I will never go on holiday again and in turn will not be allowed to work. We’re heading for a hermetically sealed society that is abjectly miserable to live in and I, for one, just don’t want to be part of it.

    • SoftStarLight February 21, 2021 at 4:11 pm #

Yeah no doubt. Its basically just like the covid death count. People who were covid positive but died directly because of car accidents or of heart attacks were classified as covid deaths. Being a respiratory illness it is easy to see how flu could be misidentified as covid. And too, the CDC has proved to be fairly incompetent in handling the response and has often put out misleading information. In any case, we also know that other government officials like governors and members of congress and private companies too continue to use covid as a reason to bring forward new rules and to expand their own power and ability to control the publics’ behavior. It is very doubtful they are going to just give that up now that they have it.

      • Yohannon February 21, 2021 at 4:44 pm #

Of very competent is misleading the people. In contrast to their leadership and public statements, their website contains much truth. My guess? Plausible deniability in case this whole thing goes south. They’ll be able to point to the website and say, See? We told the Truth.

Try, googling CDC, PIC (PIC is how they abbreviate Pneumonia, Influenza, and Covid into one thing) and you should be able to find it.

Of course if someone ever asks them why on Earth did you jam Pneumonia and Influenza in with Covid, I really don’t know what they could say. It’s right there but no one puts them on the spot. So they are safe for now at least. But one can dream…..

Wow! A reminder of who he truly serves maybe? That is creepy! And I also see how hollow the eyes of the Antichrist are and that is also super creepy. I thought about the symbolism of the lamb he is holding. It seems like he has captured one of them and is taking the lamb away from the rest of the flock. The comparison being like when the Devil isolates and then steals someone away from the congregation, or basically from their world and people they know. And the folded arms shows a similarity with Pharoah who is often depicted with his arms folded. Pharoah who was the ruler of the Earth with many slaves like the Devil rules this world and has many slaves. Its scarier than a horror movie actually. And the Pope has chosen to be part of the Devil’s kingdom.

So a woman tried to shush two vibrant community members in an Atlanta movie theater. She gets shot for her trouble.

My question is: why was she patronizing that movie theater? She should have known better. Last time I visited my home town, I noticed that all the movie theaters (there had been 3 when I left) were gone, kaput, torn down, out-of-business. There’s a reason for that.

Indoor Shopping Malls are headed in the same direction. The massive mall east of Hartford — opened with much fanfare about 30 years ago — expected to be a destination of shopping and dining fun for mom, dad, buddy and sis, has become gang magnet where Community Members and Puerto Ricans meet for gladiatorial combat and drag racing in the vast parking lots that surround it. No person with a sense of self preservation goes there. Apparently the parking lots are a no man’s land where even local police won’t even go.

Naïve question: I appreciate your commentary Brh about the state of affairs in Connecticut – is there no way law-abiding suburban citizens can’t mobilize, form a “Reclaim the Mall” group, and march upon it – with pitchforks and tiki torches if necessary – and take it back?

Why do the community members et al get a free pass?

The economy is being forced to go digital by the Purple Revolutionists.

Small businesses are set to be destroyed. The supply chain is already in tatters.

I am setting up a reef aquarium at present, and every small shop I order from has 4-7 week wait times.

I ordered two items from Amazon with a corporate gift card (I never use them otherwise) and they were shipped out the same fucking day. The Coroneau is the vehicle for the destruction. Big box stores and online scheissters like Bezos are raking it in.

      We are fucked.

    Whoops! There it is!

Dr. Anthony Fauci said on Sunday that he won’t rule out Americans still needing to wear masks in 2022 — even as the country returns to a certain degree of “normality.”

When asked on CNN’s “State of the Union” whether masks will be necessary next year, Fauci replied, “I think it is possible that that’s the case and, again, it really depends on what you mean by normality.”

    https://nypost.com/2021/02/21/americans-may-still-be-wearing-face-masks-in-2022-fauci/

Told my aging shut in mom – who at 84 was recently exposed to the “killer virus” and never missed a beat – that when they started bandying about the term “new normal” they weren’t making a prediction, they were stating a known fact. Masks forever and ever amen and generalized hysteria from the healthcare Nazis was the plan right from the start. I expect new more virulent strains to be released not later than late summer to keep the plebes cowering under their beds and ratting each other out for non-compliance. We’re officially a society of soppy cunts now.

“Dr. Anthony Fauci said on Sunday that he won’t rule out Americans still needing to wear masks in 2022 — even as the country returns to a certain degree of “normality.””

It will depend pretty much on how widespread vaccination is by say December this year. Hopefully all Americans will be immunized by then, and IF immunization means that you cannot catch it and cannot transmit it, then hopefully masks will be a fond memory by January 1, 2022.

    ” Chippy Lady ”

Grievances are either valid , partially valid , or bogus .

In none of this is , ” chip on your shoulder ” particularly relevant or significant.

A person who would use a phrase like , ” you have a chip on your shoulder ”

is telegraphing the fact that , in fact , their thinking falls squarely within the context of status.

They are thinking in terms of show , rather than substance , or images , rather than things.

Weeelll …… the context might indeed be a great deal different if you were , say , sharing a bathroom or a bed .

Trouble is , though , in this case , we are seperated by the fucking Atlantic Ocean.

So what the fuck does my attitude or demeanor have to do with any issue or grievance ??

    Not a god damned thing.

    — EXCEPT so as to try to cast one party in a negative light , and the other in a positive light , and irrespective of the issues.

Which brings us back to status again , not issues.

You trot out chips on shoulders for the same reason Janos trots out IQ tests where the math was cooked right from the start ,

” Perhaps you could go and explain it to these guys before they are hanged from a crane for nothing more substantive than a fashion trend.

    https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/10998169/iran-gay-people-gender-reassignment-surgery/

    Back to this.

Well , as I understand it , in 1941 the British installed a puppet regime in Iran and proceeded to use Iran as a milk cow for the next 20 years.

As I understand it , it was primarily Iranian oil that propped up the British War Machine during the war.

Sure , at the time Texas was ground zero for the oil boom , and the Americans would have been happy to sell the British some oil .

And they did . But without Iranian oil , Britain’ s War debt to the United States would have been a hundred times higher than it already was.

So yet another example of , ” Fuck those brown people , we have white people to save ! ”

For all the oil being pumped out of Iran , not only were the British getting all the oil , but the profits too.

The Iranian people were getting maybe 2 cents out of every barrel , and that disappeared into the pockets of the puppet regime.

The average Iranian didn’t get shit.

As for the puppet regime —

Well , I actually liked the Shah a lot. I think he meant well .

But I also think he never really understood his own country . He was really a Westerner , albeit with olive skin and a Persian name.

Well , fast – forward 20 years. The Americans have supplanted the British .

Somewhere between 1965 and 1970 the Shah finally awoke fully to the realization that the Americans and the British were NOT his friends. All their fine and fancy and friendly words merely concealed a naked self – interest that didn’t give a fuck about Iran.

And the evidence seems to be that around this time the CIA started working against him , not for him.

It seems well – known that the CIA once backed Osama Bin Laden.

What is apparently not so well known is they once backed the Ayatollah Khomeini.

Worse , the Shah never did come to the realization that building the PlayBoy Mansion next door to a Mosque was maybe a really bad fucking idea.

    Anyway , so —

” Perhaps you could go and explain it to these guys … ”

Maybe , rather , I should explain TO YOU that maybe you should for ONCE , and FINALLY mind your own fucking business , and not be telling Iran what they ought to do ?

    —-

This is in two parts .

” Perhaps you could go and explain it to these guys before they are hanged from a crane for nothing more substantive than a fashion trend.

    https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/10998169/iran-gay-people-gender-reassignment-surgery/

Well , I suppose we can all agree that an 8 year old is indeed a child , and cannot consent ??

But , after that , things can get really damn ambiguous , rather quick.

But , damn the ambiguities , and damn the fact that your definitions are arbitrary right from the start.

You not uncommonly see in America today that a 15 year old gets charged with a sex crime for fucking a 13 year old , because the 13 year old cannot consent —

    — but then a 13 year old gets charged with a sex crime for fucking an 11 year old , because now the 13 year old CAN consent.

I suppose you might find a way to blame this Kafka – esque circumstance on the Mullahs ?

Or blame it on the Christian Right ?

Or argue that it is not every bit as bizarre and ridiculous as the case in Iran ?

    Pfffffft !!

    • GreenAlba February 22, 2021 at 6:15 am #

The point of my comment (tell this to blah blah blah is not normally taken as a direct instruction, but as a figure of speech) was not to tell the Iranians they shouldn’t be murdering gay people or even mutilating them, although they clearly shouldn’t, but to make the point to you that men and boys generally don’t risk their necks for something that is a mere fashion.

      But you knew that.

      • GreenAlba February 22, 2021 at 6:27 am #

Ah but you’ve no idea how morally compromising it is teaching secondary children French (mostly) or helping a publisher put together a medical or midwifery book.

I mean, if you weren’t torn by moral dilemmas when you were preparing a page design brief you’d have to be some kind of psychopath.

And when I translated for the hydraulic engineering company in France in my early years, my gawd, the moral decisions lurking in those dictionaries.

Oh, and I mustn’t forget delivering milk to people’s doorsteps. Only a true psycho could get through that without questioning their moral probity.

So you will recall that I asked you on multiple occasions for revised flu death statistics, so that you could, in turn, revise your comparison of Covid and flu deaths in a more legitimate way, as an honest person of your sincere integrity would wish.

I’m still waiting. Similarly when you go on endlessly about the fraudulent PCR tests and the false positives, I have linked several times now to our own Neurodoc’s comment about the enormous extent of false negatives. You’ve been asked politely now several times to estimate the effect of these false negatives on the publicly quoted totals.

Your original difficulties with both of these statistics could be put down to a general lack of facility with numbers, but once the issues have been explained to you and you have declined to respond, we seem to be in the territory of devious, manipulative snakery.

From which, obviously, you have the possibility, even at this late hour, to rescue your reputation, by just answering the damn questions.

Not definitely, just perhaps. I don’t share your capacity for certitudes.

But I don’t think your friend Night Owl is religious (he once added a ‘but’, that as he gets older he wonders etc. etc.).

Perhaps you could ask him how he taught his son right from wrong, and how theological the process was. Or Beantownbill, who strikes me as moral too, and has a family.

” I first met ‘the physician’, with whose imagined status you seem to be obsessed, when I was 48, and married him when I was 58.That’s older than you are now. Status? ”

I would invite anyone with half a brain to go back and read what I wrote , ponder it , then read what you wrote here , and then ponder that. And then compare the two.

My assumptions were , in fact , right on the money.

Unless you really robbed the cradle ( ? ) , as they say , then he was past 40 , and broke , so not much of a catch , as they say , physician or not.

And you , at 48 ? Your phone wasn’t exactly ringing off the hook anymore , either.

Sooo a cultured and educated person , but piss poor , married a cultured and educated , but piss poor , person.

Uh …. that doesn’t contradict my assumptions. It buttresses them.

My point , to the general audience ,

was that sober calculation plays not one bit less of a factor in ” Love ” than it does in prostitution.

As for you , specifically and personally ,

” I first met ‘the physician’, with whose imagined status you seem to be obsessed, …. ”

I didn’t bring up your husbands status until after you had brought it up about 50 fucking times.

Lately , had brought it up for purposes of knocking down any criticism of Covid policies .

” My husband works in a hospital , so you know not so well as I . ”

( In so many words , very loosely paraphrasing. )

It so happens that two of my immediate family members are in medicine.

I haven’t brought that up until this minute though,

because I don’t really think myself , or anyone else , needs to wear scrubs , or clean bedpans , to arrive at the conclusion that Covid is not the Black Death ,

and to recognize when they are being strong – armed.

Once again , as you have repeatedly done in my case , you conflate cause , with consequence.

And no fucking doubt by this point , that its deliberate.

    • GreenAlba February 22, 2021 at 6:56 am #

Your point to the general audience is merely a reflection of your own biases.

I am not piss poor and have not the slightest need for any supplement to my own modest but perfectly adequate income. I do value love and companionship, though, as does my husband, who is not piss poor now either (nor was he when I first met him, when he was doing something other in the medical field than dipping his toe disastrously into private enterprise, but it wasn’t remotely glamorous).

If I’d been after a meal ticket it would have made more sense to look for one when I was 35, with an entire mortgage to pay off. Back then I had a three-bedroom, modern box, but it was perfectly good for its purpose and my kids were happy there, even though there was and is nothing particularly Brady Bunch-y about anything in our lives, even though I took them to Sunday School every week. I sold it for the same amount I paid for my nice but small flat nearer town. Such is the cost of convenience.

BTW my phone never rang off the hook at any point in my life, not at 18 any more than 48. I married the first person I went out with (the French one), which was the biggest mistake of my life.

Not everyone is a massively social animal with the kind of confidence you seem to have been blessed with.

And you are right that Covid is not the black death. And neither is it the seasonal flu.

      • GreenAlba February 22, 2021 at 6:58 am #

And you are right about the lack of a level playing field. It’s why I mentioned the leg up from the grammar school system, as well as the advantages of having professional parents like yours.

      • GreenAlba February 22, 2021 at 11:49 am #

BTW you seem to have made a point somewhere that it was I who brought up the subject of ‘the physician’.

I think you’ll find all I suggested was that you might use ‘we’ instead of ‘you’ when referring to people supposedly attacking the integrity of the family. Not even a request to wear a sackcloth and ashes, or even to justify yourself, just a simple but more accurate pronoun.

“” My husband works in a hospital , so you know not so well as I . ”

You misread. He works in a GP out-of-hours service, that only happens to be based in a hospital, because it has to go somewhere.

He doesn’t work with Covid patients – they are routed elsewhere when they are suspected of having Covid. I have mentioned poor PPE because what he gets is pretty crap and he has to go into care homes and patients’ homes where you wouldn’t know whether the patient has Covid or not, while you’re there for something else. But none of that affects his ‘knowledge’ of Covid.

But he’s happy to have had his vaccination, given his age and other issues, despite having considered not having it, at one point.

And he never asked for lockdowns, any more than I did. if there had been no mitigating actions taken at all, and the thing had just been let rip, I’d have tried to persuade him to retire, possibly, since he has a compromised immune system.

Researchers studying infections found that a certain threshold of antibodies might provide lasting protection against Covid-19.

Now the question becomes, how does one achieve this threshold naturally. Larry King need not apply.

    • GreenAlba February 22, 2021 at 8:15 am #

      Sounds good, akmofo.

Although I believe, but do not know, not being a virologist, that the tendency of viruses is often to mutate in the direction of less virulent strains, which is what benefits the virus. A dead host is not helpful to a virus, and a host stuck in bed feeling unwell is not much better. You want your host to be out and about, as people are with the common cold.

So I am quietly optimistic, or trying to be.

      • akmofo February 22, 2021 at 8:57 am #

You better not inform your beloved Vatican “science” mafia of this. They still teach the kids in schools that viruses are non-living, while you ascribe high level of intelligence to them.

        • GreenAlba February 22, 2021 at 9:08 am #

They don’t have any intelligence at all. You are putting the cart before the horse. It is merely natural selection. The virus which doesn’t kill its host manages to spread itself more widely.

When I said ‘you want your host…’ I figured you’d figure that was figurative.

          • GreenAlba February 22, 2021 at 9:13 am #

            Compare Sars-CoV-1 with Sars-CoV-2.

‘1’ was virulent and killed more of its hosts, but it only spread symptomatically so was quickly contained. No secret carriers.

‘2’ is less virulent and sneakily* spreads itself among asymptomatic/pre-symptomatic people, so is harder to contain.

*also used figuratively – the virus doesn’t have conscious intentions.

          • akmofo February 22, 2021 at 9:20 am #

And yet, there is intelligence there to mutate and evolve. The intelligence of God — stamped in our genetic and their very genetic makeup. Even the intelligence of Satanism is subordinate to it, Green-Cyborg3.

          • GreenAlba February 22, 2021 at 9:24 am #

Intelligence is not required for a virus to evolve. But if you choose to believe that God created smallpox for his amusement, that’s your choice.

          • akmofo February 22, 2021 at 9:32 am #

When they develop a mass testing method that does not provide false negatives and false positives 90% of the time (how is that even statistically possible), we can talk about comparisons. Until then, we are dealing with a criminal mafia of idiots dolts and incompetents, given the assumption which I’m not prepared to make, that they are not murderous grifters out to make a fortune off your ignorance and faith in them.

          • akmofo February 22, 2021 at 9:37 am #

God created many hazards which we have learned to tame. How and if we manage to tame them is exactly the point of our existence.

          • GreenAlba February 22, 2021 at 9:46 am #

I don’t think I talked to you about comparisons (except in the way Sars 1 and 2 differed in their MO), but latterly about whether the divine intelligence thought up smallpox.

But I agree with you that the PCR tests are not as useful as they might be. We now have lateral flow tests in the house, whose acccuracy I don’t know much about.

I don’t have ‘faith’ in any such group. I am impelled to use my intelligence to decide whether I am at more risk from a vaccine than from the disease, and I have acted on that impulse and made a decision. Your decision is your own – you are young.

          • akmofo February 22, 2021 at 9:56 am #

            Your decision is your own

Apparently not, if I wish to travel.

          • GreenAlba February 22, 2021 at 10:23 am #

That is why, despite having the vaccination myself, I have signed this petition.

            https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/569957

But it won’t affect Israel, unless British people wish to fly there, in which case it will be the Israeli government which decides what the Brits need to do.

My view, which I have explained before, is that once everyone has been given the opportunity to be vaccinated, then both vaccinated and unvaccinated groups are responsible for their own safety. Obviously, there is an international dimension with travel, and each country has the right to say who can enter its borders. Isn’t that nationalism?

          • akmofo February 22, 2021 at 10:42 am #

            Isn’t that nationalism?
            ==

No, it’s not. It’s pure fascism. The institutions of government have long been hijacked by foreign interests that are largely antithetical to the general population. We are not regarded as independent sovereigns, we are regarded as a cash cow to be milked for what it’s worth and then be disposed of.

          • GreenAlba February 22, 2021 at 11:35 am #

So you don’t think Donald Trump should have stopped people coming in to the US from China at the start of the pandemic?

          • GreenAlba February 22, 2021 at 11:39 am #

I mentioned a few weeks ago that when I went to Tunisia in the early 1970s I had to have a cholera vaccination before I went. Turned out there was a cholera epidemic while we were there so they checked everyone’s vaccination papers when we arrived back in Marseille. Are you suggesting France shouldn’t have the right to quarantine people with potential cholera?

          • akmofo February 22, 2021 at 12:06 pm #

There should be no reason to stop me from traveling either by my home country or by the host country if I wish to travel abroad, if I’m not a threat. If I have a clean bill of health, why is that not enough?

Moreover, the impunity and double standards the elites enjoy versus the rest of us, should very plainly tell you that there’s something else going on here.
