You heard it here first: Joe Biden will call in “sick” to the presidential candidates’ debate on Tuesday, September 29, and within days the Democratic Party will be obliged to replace him. Enough said for now. Wait for it….

Onto the election issue du jour: putting out ideological fires set by political arsonists: namely, the “systemic racism” hustle cooked up by “progressive” anarcho-terrorists to provoke hatred and division in a nation sore beset by propaganda, psy-ops, and seditious subterfuge — not to mention Covid-19 and economic collapse, as if those were not enough. This week, President Trump released an executive order halting all federal agency in-service training programs purporting to address “critical race theory,” “white privilege,” “unconscious bias,” and other hobgoblins of Wokesterism, a scam that has become a multimillion-dollar consulting racket funded by taxpayers.

Russell Vought, director of the Office of Management and Budget, sent a memo to executive branch agency heads directing them to identify all contracts or other agency spending related to any “propaganda effort that teaches or suggests either (1) that the United States is an inherently racist or evil country or (2) that any race or ethnicity is inherently racist or evil.” When the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) attempted to defy the order and go forward with training to “examine the mechanisms of systemic racism, white supremacist ideology, and systems of structured inequality,” Mr. Vought had to remind the agency to cancel it. So it goes with “the Resistance.”

One consulting outfit, CAST (the Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking) has received $16-million from the Department of Education. At its August 2020 conference, attendees (including DOE staff) were told the United States has a “racial contract” that “says it’s okay for white people to kill blacks with immunity [sic]” (Did they mean impunity?) They also advocated abolishing prisons. The DOE press secretary says it’s investigating.

God knows what kind of swamp creatures lie embedded in the lower mudbanks of that agency, but at the top, at least, the department is cleaning up its act. DOE Secretary Betsy DeVos took aggressive action days ago after Princeton University President Christopher Eisgruber sent out an open letter to “the Princeton community” stating that “racism and the damage it does to people of color persist at Princeton” and that “racist assumptions” are “embedded in structures of the University itself.”

From the DOE to Mr. Eisgruber:

Okay, it being the case that Princeton officially claims to be a “racist” institution, the DOE has opened an investigation into Title VI violations under US Civil Rights law so as to recover the $75-million in federal funding Princeton has received since Mr. Eisgruber became president of the institution in 2013. Seems fair, dontcha think? The DOE has required Princeton to produce electronic records of every conceivable type — memoranda, emails, calendars, text messages, telephone logs, you name it — in order to determine whether Princeton has made false representation of its compliance with civil rights law — that is, if it is actually racist as its leadership claims it to be.

Princeton is given 21 “calendar days” (includes weekends) to comply. That ought to keep Mr. Eisgruber’s subalterns in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion quite busy in the weeks ahead, a monumental Chinese fire drill that can only end badly for the university. Either they have to come up with proof that Mr. Eisgruber’s asseverations are true — that Princeton is indeed, and has been for a long time, a racist school — or that Mr. Eisgruber and his administrative colleagues have constructed a false narrative to please and mollify the “social justice” mob among its own faculty and student body. In the first case, they are strictly evil; in the second, they are lying cowards. In either case, Mr. Eisgruber must resign, and several vice-presidents and deans along with him. Notify the Princeton board of trustees.

Next up: University of Chicago President Robert Zimmer, whose graduate school of English Language Studies announced that it is “accepting only applicants interested in working in and with Black Studies” for the 2020-2021 admissions cycle. (See official U of Chicago announcement.)  Hmmmm, no studies at all of literature written by white people allowed? Sounds a little discriminatory, possibly even racist! How much funding are they getting from the US DOE?

    Finally, we are fighting back.

From what I’ve heard through the grapevine, the real fireworks begin on Sept. 30.

I have a feeling things are about to get very interesting on a lot of fronts.

    • hortonz September 18, 2020 at 11:34 am #

Attorney General William Barr ought to be given a medal for calling out BLM and Antifa for high crimes and misdemeanors in their use of straw figures like the late George Floyd to advance a mendacious agenda. And more kudos to the AG for pointing out that the Democrats and their allies in the Deep State have been using the coronavirus pandemic as an excuse to violate Americans civil liberties and keep them in a state of infancy. CNN called called his comments nothing less than treason and sedition and demanded his resignation.

      • Night Owl September 18, 2020 at 12:13 pm #

The virus narrative is and will go down as one of the most fraudulent in history.

The scope of the corruption on a variety of issues is shocking.

He could have stopped this at any time. As he would have if it were White Nationalist or White Civ Nat Patriots tearing down America. They would have called in air strikes and brought in tanks.

      • abbybwood September 18, 2020 at 2:07 pm #

Yet Christopher Wray, the head of the FBI, has recently declared Antifa to simply be just an “ideology”.

        Huh?

        • Night Owl September 18, 2020 at 3:16 pm #

Another DC douchebag with a penchant for purple.

        • GrassyCow September 18, 2020 at 4:21 pm #

The FBI has also, going back over 15 years, classified many far right militias (deservedly so) as terrorist groups. Number of people killed by right wing terrorists since 1994 – 329. Number confirmed killed by Antifa (there IS NO organization under this name, never has been) – ZERO. It has also been confirmed by numerous local media ources, the vast majority of destruction and violence has been carried out by groups like Boogaloo, Proud Boys, and undercover cops. This is proven fact.
So, who is the real threat to the nation?

          • Night Owl September 18, 2020 at 4:59 pm #

            Why not both, Cargill?

            Amateur propagandist.

If you type in antifa.com in your search engine, it goes directly to the Joe Biden campaign site.

            HAHAHAHA

You are patently full of crap.
What source besides the crack of your ass did you pull that heaping steaming pile of crap from?
There is not enough rightwing skin head types to even fill a small venue across the entire united states.
The shame of it is at this point I would support them more then I support Antifa or BLM.
The only violence in a wide scale spread across the land is Antifa and BLM types.
            That is the truth.

          • Sredni Vashtar September 18, 2020 at 6:33 pm #

Jay Danielson was killed recently by an Antifa member. So you’re wrong.

Talk is cheap – even when you are the Attorney General. Barr has done nothing to prosecute the coup conspirators despite mountains of evidence and years of “investigation.”

If he were to prosecute those responsible for the rioting, especially the financier(s), he would be doing his job.

I would be surprised if he did either.

        • Uncle Bob September 19, 2020 at 8:56 am #

He’s allegedly “meticulous” about wanting to build a case “without any holes” that can be turned into a media circus by Deep State lawyers and the mass media. Or, maybe the DOJ is dragging its heels because Barr, Durham, et al know that they could bring the whole damn thing (including the economy, crooks in the military-industrial complex, banksters, frauds throughout every level of government, etc.) down on their heads if they push too hard. If Trump wins, see may see everything get cleaned up. If Trump loses, smoothies is for naught, and as dead Cameltoe Harris said, the Deep State is gonna get anyone who has supported Trump. Toss in the new incendiary of the death of the leftist goddess, Justice Ginsburg, and the stage seems to be set for national suicide matter who wins.

          • Uncle Bob September 19, 2020 at 9:28 am #

    • GrassyCow September 18, 2020 at 4:32 pm #

First off, throughout this entire article of bullshit, JHK assumes without question Betsy Devos is actually qualified to do the job. No bigger joke exists anywhere in the DOE. Her sole mission is to destroy public education at any cost, and with any made-up stories (without evidence of course), and then divert taxpayer monies to for-profit private schools and religious schools.

That is the mission of the head of the DOE. She has no other purpose.

As the famous saying goes: “It will be a great day when schools have all the money they need, and the Air Force has to hold a bake sale to buy a bomber.”

      • beantownbill. September 18, 2020 at 5:21 pm #

And you have ties with the DOE and someone there told you this is why she is in her position? Are you fucking crazy?

Kim–My cousin taught remedial reading to illiterate eighth graders for years.

      • Kim September 18, 2020 at 9:08 pm #

        @ Grassy Cow

“Her sole mission is to destroy public education at any cost,”

Seems to me that it needs destroying. Kids can barely read, or not at all, nor do basic math.

And that ignorance is not coming cheap.

        https://www.cnsnews.com/commentary/terence-p-jeffrey/dc-public-schools-spend-30k-student-only-23-8th-graders-proficient

The public elementary and secondary schools in the District of Columbia spent $30,115 per pupil during the 2016-2017 school year, according to Table 236.75 in the Department of Education’s “Digest of Education Statistics.”

But only 23% of the eighth graders in the D.C. public schools were proficient or better in reading in 2019, according to the department’s National Assessment of Educational Progress, or NAEP, tests.

Similarly, only 23% of eighth graders in the district’s public schools were proficient or better in mathematics.

But I am sure the kids know everything there is to know about hating whitey.

      • Uncle Bob September 19, 2020 at 9:36 am #

Are you a rep for the AFT of the NEA? Either way, your union has done a lot of damage to this country. (BTW, I’m in a union, and my late dad was a Teamsters steward, so don’t give me shit about being “anti-union.”

      • King of Comedy September 19, 2020 at 10:26 am #

        Dear Cow,

All questions aside, one thing Devos is obviously qualified to pull off is the logical evisceration of white flagellants like Eisgruber. The brilliance of calling this worm’s bluff can not be overstated. Between kneeling sessions, poor Frau Eisgruber faces the dilemma of proving his virtue-signaling to be factually based and being on the hook for that $75 mil or admitting that he just likes to tongue-bathe woke taints.

Oh to be a fly on the wall of offices of the Princeton commissars…

  2. bluekayak September 18, 2020 at 10:11 am #

The disgrace underlying this situation is that an institution with a multi-billion dollar endowment and complete tax-exempt status has its snout in the federal trough for $75 million of taxpayer money. WTF??

    • DrTomSchmidt September 18, 2020 at 10:15 am #

The Feds contribute about 1/6th of the dollars spent on higher Ed in the USA. state Governments, tuition, and endowment earnings make up the rest. However, that 1/6th allows the Feds to basically control ALL the spending in higher ed, and it’s one thing that has driven the rise in useless administrators.

The left created this tool, and expected it would always control it. Now DeVos has discovered that she can basically club ANY university into submission. Maybe the distasteful feeling will cause the universities to detach from the Federal teat? The amount contributed by the Feds and the amount spent on administration are about the same.

There’s freedom only for those places that reject the Federal dollar.

      • bluekayak September 18, 2020 at 10:25 am #

Take the King’s shilling, you dance the King’s tune. So with all the added admin costs, the acceptance of federal aid is just one big self-licking ice cream cone. What a colossal waste.

        • SouthernYankee September 18, 2020 at 10:30 am #

Hey Blue, maybe the whole repararations bill should finally be tallied. Then, from it deductions should be made from it starting with the tremendous social costs for a wasteful welfare state for the last 50 plus years, urban destruction from rioting and looting and wasted money from the aforementioned nonsense….just for beginners. How much do you think will remain?

        • AKlein September 18, 2020 at 12:22 pm #

Blue, I really like your simile, “self-licking ice cream cone”. Very good! Is it your creation? I’ve certainly never heard/read it before. It will become part of may verbal repertoire, for sure.

          • bluekayak September 18, 2020 at 1:13 pm #

I wish I had come up with it — first heard from a naval reserve LCDR at a seminar on “force protection” versus “force projection”; his critique was essentially that overly focusing on the former can make your operation ineffective and of no value; i.e., like a self-licking ice cream cone.

      • Sredni Vashtar September 18, 2020 at 1:34 pm #

Yes, only Big Government can control Big Government. It has to be OUR Big Government though. Turning everything over the the Corporations would change nothing. Then they would be the Big Government. Hint: they already are.

In the dance between public and private, the public must lead. If the public sector is ruled by secret plutocrats working thru Marxists, you got big problems.

The Libertarian solution of getting rid of the “Big” is simply fatuous in a complex society. They end up on the Left with the Banks, Corporations and their Marxist running dog lackeys.

        • draupnir September 18, 2020 at 5:12 pm #

Stop pussy footing around. Name the thing. It is Fascism.

          • Sredni Vashtar September 18, 2020 at 5:54 pm #

Yes, Fascism is the solution. You are confusing it with its opposite, Plutocracy. In the latter, the private sector leads. That’s what we have now. And yes, they or at least their progenitors, the International Bankers, funded and organized Communism – as they continue to do to this day.

      • Kim September 18, 2020 at 9:11 pm #

        https://www.princeton.edu/news/2019/10/11/princeton-endowment-earns-62-percent-return

Princeton University’s endowment earned a 6.2 percent investment gain for the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2019. The endowment value stood at $26.1 billion, an increase of about $200 million from the previous year.

    • GrassyCow September 18, 2020 at 4:16 pm #

Insert any corporations name in your sentence, instead of “institution”, and you get the same truth.

  3. DrTomSchmidt September 18, 2020 at 10:11 am #

JHK, I was unaware of that action against Princeton. If Eisgruber wants to make claims and think he can get away with empty rhetoric, thinks he can put a BLM sign on the lawn but not actually do anything to help BL, he just got whipped upside the head with a 2×4.

So much of this nonsense cannot survive on its own, only with parasitic subsidies from other places (see: your cable bill.) But the virtue signaling has been cost-free until now.

This is the greatest thing I’ve read in months.

    • SouthernYankee September 18, 2020 at 10:58 am #

Yes Dr T. Finally a real counter punch from the master himself, the orange warrior! I hope the momentum builds, not because I adore Donald Trump. Like many, I can only take so much of him. But I love a good wrecking ball especially when taken to the ideological Potemkin village currently in vogue (rogue?).

      • DrTomSchmidt September 18, 2020 at 12:27 pm #

The press is supposed to afflict the comfortable and comfort the afflicted. Trump is the only person I see occasionally afflicting the comfortable. You take what you can get.

        This is a good day.

      • Sredni Vashtar September 18, 2020 at 1:38 pm #

Yes, this balances out his sickening pandering to the terrified public about a vaccine by election day. He must really think we’re stupid. And of course he is right about that. People with IQ’s in the high 80’s and low 90’s will be moved by this. Below that and they don’t really worry about things too much.

He evidently did the calculus early on and realized he couldn’t just deny the whole stupid mess since his enemies controled the media. He would have to beat them on their own ground.

Needless to say, no one with a normal IQ will be taking such a bizarrely rushed vaccine even if were to become available.

    • JohnAZ September 18, 2020 at 11:46 am #

      Dr Tom

The Left has been getting away with BS statements for years. They sit around in their conferences and plan this stuff, making stuff up as they go. The MSM, including Fox, is getting away with this for the last four years. The two town halls conducted yesterday is just another example of the wool being pulled over the public’s eyes by all the Left sources.

I have made the statement many times that what is going on is an attack of the entire Deep State against one man and his supporters. It is amazing that he has been able to hold them off for four years. The election is close in spite of the imbalance. The American public may not be as foolish as the Left wants. After all, their entire program is to treat Americans like they are dummies that need to be led.

Rejection of the Left message by the vote in spite of the voting programs instituted by the Dems, education (Princeton) and immigration, will be the deciding factor for the future. Will the Eisgrubers be successful with the felonious campaign to falsify what America is all about? Or will the country reject the phony message of the Left again?

I will bet Soros will be watching the returns on Nov. 3.

      • DrTomSchmidt September 18, 2020 at 12:25 pm #

        John,

To quote Saul Alinsky from Rules for Radicals, a good tactic is one your people enjoy. One problem with Republicans in the past was that they always seemed to be the dour adult taking away the punch bowl at the party.

Well, the Left destroyed those small town middle class people (actually, the Oligarchs did that, but they empowered the professional managerial class Left in doing so), so there’s no longer a sober opposition. And the Left is now “the Man” ina lots of organizations.

I’m betting that Betsy DeVos was smiling the entire time she wrote this memo, even if she uses the “it pains me to have to write this” face in public. Cramming his words down Eisgruber’s throat is the most enjoyable thing I’ve gotten in return for my tax dollars for years. It’s funny, defunds the Left, and enforces the Civil Rights law, to boot.

        • Sredni Vashtar September 18, 2020 at 1:41 pm #

Yes, pure Alinsky. Make your enemy live up to his own ideals. God bless Betsy DeVos!

Recall that Soros, being a wily investor, knew to spend his dollars in races where he would have a large effect. Those local DA races allowed him to implement policy at a level that most people never pay attention to.

Our local lib Dem DA Got primaries by a Progressive. I worry.

        • Jo-G September 18, 2020 at 3:12 pm #

Yes. Back in 2008 I was curious about this Obama guy so I attended one of his speeches. To enter I had to pay $15 and give up my name and e-mail address. The young lady at the table assured me that Obama would never sell my info. I misspelled my name deliberately to see how truthful the Obama campaign was. One of the organizations they gave or sold my info to was an association of democratic states attorney generals. Their spam was all about getting control of the government through those offices. I’ve always thought that this is one source of the “lawfare” that Mr. Kunstler talks about.

    • C.O. Jones September 18, 2020 at 2:31 pm #

      Agree 100%!

I really look forward to Mr. Kunstler’s articles and this was one of his best.

When the corn-rowed warriors of social justice find a self-hating white man clinging to their boots, they don’t forgive him. They double down on the abuse. It’s becomes a sick sadomasochistic ritual the Khmer Rouge could well appreciate. They also didn’t absolve the repentant confessants; they killed them.

Between the covid scam lockdowns and the Red Guard take-over, universities have become worth a lot less than their stated tuition and fees. Let them crumble to the ground to be replaced by something economical and effective.

Joe Rogan had a great talk with Douglas Murray yesterday (the author of The Madness of Crowds) in which Murray pointed out that all of this wokester stuff, like: “systemic racism”, “white privilege”, transexualism– is an enormous civilization time waster. People are wasting all their time on these imaginary or unsolvable problems. The West could be/ought to be focused on developing new technologies to feed & clothe people, new energy, things like going to Mars, etc.. ‘big picture’ goals.. but instead people are wasting all their productive time.

Interestingly, Murray also made the point towards the end of the conversation, that the obsession on gender issues & hermaphroditism were traits often seen during the end decades of Greek city states & the Roman Empire. When Rogan asked him why he thought that was, Murray answered that it was the dissolution of social boundaries in those societies. I found the entire conversation very insightful.

Attempts at “going to Mars” would be the biggest time and money waster imaginable, beside the fact that it’s not do-able with any technology we’ll have in the next 50 – 100 years (and we’ll be going backwards fast in that sphere soon anyway). We’ve screwed up this planet badly already, why do it to another one? Man is the only animal that fouls his own nest. Lets clean up this planet and learn to live on it first.

      • beantownbill. September 18, 2020 at 1:23 pm #

We could clean up the planet and explore/colonize space at the same time. But I agree with you about trying to go to Mars. I commented on this subject just last night on CFN. I don’t think we’re 50-100 years away; probably 10-20 years at most. That’s assuming technological progress can continue pretty much as it always has.

        • BackRowHeckler September 18, 2020 at 3:41 pm #

Bill it seems your opinion on a manned mission to Mars is a census opinion even amongst former astronauts, engineers, scientists and so on. Total price could be as much as a trillion dollars and it’s just not worth it, even if we could scrape together a trillion dollars.

          • hmuller September 18, 2020 at 4:46 pm #

We never have trouble “scraping together” trillions when the banks and corporations want their bailouts. Actually, the FED discovered a magic keyboard by which they can type into our universe infinite amounts of money. So no more worries; we can have it all.

As for Mars, forget it. We haven’t even been back to the moon in over 40 years – and that’s an easy, cheap trip. Anybody besides me find that very suspicious?

Dr. Ibram Kendi in “How to Be an Anti-Racist,” writes that “there is no such thing as a nonracist or race-neutral policy. Every policy in every institution in every community in every nation is producing or sustaining either racial inequity or equity between racial groups.”

He then touts discrimination as a tool for creating racial equality.

“The defining question is whether the discrimination is creating equity or inequity,” he writes. “If discrimination is creating equity, then it is antiracist. If discrimination is creating inequity, then it is racist. … The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination.”

Sooooo ….. if you can follow that line of reasoning, please explain it to me b/c you’re smarter than I am. It sounds like “we must discriminate to end discrimination.” I guess the wise Dr. Kendi will keep us updated on who can be candidates for discrimination and who’s off limits.

He is full of BS. Our laws do not discriminate. I would like, just once, for one of these jerks to provide one example of any level law that says that Whites get this, Blacks cannot have this. They do not exist.

The real problem is that Blacks do not compete well in certain areas just like Whites do not compete well in basketball. “White guys can’t jump”. So they want the goodies that success brings handed to them. Advantageous hiring and College admission rules have not reversed the situation. Blacks are failing themselves and their future generations by being so dependent of the government and feeling that they are owed their subsistence.

If you want America to look like South Chicago, where fathers and the nuclear family are disparaged, vote for Biden

The BLM attack on the nuclear family is documented both in BLM propaganda and at the Black Smithsonian Museum.

It is interesting that the successful Blacks that Trump is currently parading are the results of strong family units, both their own and their parents. BLM by championing the idea that nuclear families are not needed are making the Black community more dependent on the government.

Which is exactly what their Left taskmasters want. As the Blacks lose the idea of freedom from government domination means, the Marxist avalanche continues to grow. And Soros smiles!

        • Sredni Vashtar September 18, 2020 at 1:54 pm #

Nonsense. We discriminate against Whites and have been doing it for generations now. ALL of it must end. Google affirmative action. Blacks must find their own natural level in our society – and it will not be a high one.

Thank you for admitting racial difference. They don’t need help in the things they are good at. It’s just that those things don’t make for civilization, at least not a Western one.

A recent exchange I had at a uni with a wokester prof:

Me: “Well, colonialism wasn’t all bad. In many ways, colonists imparted beneficial mores that countered degrading cultural practices in natives. Christianity, on the whole, worked in many places to eliminate practices and mindsets that were counter to the health-related quality of life of a human organism”

Prof: “That’s a nice story, but no, colonialism was all bad. What you’re doing is rationalizing the domination of one culture over another.”

Me: “If in domination the colonial culture forbids ritual sacrifice, genital and dental mutilation, spousal immolations, drug-induced orgies, neglect of the elderly, extreme forms of torture, all while introducing the golden rule and the benefits of acquiring knowledge of the natural world, I’ll take the dominant culture any day of the week.”

Prof: “That is a very culturalist view. And you are forgetting the many accomplishments the natives themselves achieved.”

    Me: “Such as?”

Prof: list banal accomplishments already superseded by colonist culture, or non-accomplishments like language and art.

But that was never the intention. In fact, when resources were stretched, the Aztecs and Mayans engaged in conquering neighbors for theirs. And the new slaves would frequently replace local undesirables at the temple chopping block.

Mel Gibson had it right with Apocalypto, his taut destruction of the myth of the noble savage. The Spanish at the end were just a slightly-more-advanced form of the same thing natives were dealing with at home.

Much as I like JHK’s post today, I have to disagree with yours. Every culture should have the right to self-determination, regardless of what another thinks about it, and shouldn’t face extermination simply because of another culture’s superiority complex. The native population of this continent was nearly wiped out completely, their food sources deliberately targeted, their children kidnapped and shipped off to faraway schools for indoctrination, where abuse was widespread. Then of course there were the outright slaughters like Wounded Knee and Sand Creek. That’s not improving the “quality of life of the human organism,” that’s genocide.

No accomplishments? That’s a laughable claim. How about, for starters, the fact that Indians had democracy before we did with the Iroquois Confederacy, which directly influenced our own Constitution. That’s not “Woksterism,” it’s just a fact.

Largely agree. That’s why in certain respects the collapse of modern industrial ‘civilization’ could actually be a good thing, ‘cos it means the usual miscreants who’ve been victimizing and antagonizing the rest of the world will no longer have the means to do so, leaving the world’s cultures free again to pursue their own destinies without any presumptuous aliens to tell them what’s good for them — as if they really know what’s good for anyone, looking at the sorry state of affairs to which they’ve brought our entire world.

My only concern here is that so many around the world have already been converted to the gospel of modern industrial ‘civilization’ — and therefore forgotten their traditional ways of life and thought — that once the Long Emergency really arrives, they’re going to be have to endure another jolly good round of extreme hardship again as they struggle to return to a way of life they left behind…

      • DrTomSchmidt September 18, 2020 at 12:34 pm #

You might like Mann’s book 1491, which talks about Indian achievements before the West. Doesn’t use guilt terms like genocide, because both sides did it (Tho not Indians to whites, mostly.) he does make the point that modern geneticists are in awe at the domestication of maize from teosinte. I think the book made the point that a modern geneticist would be hard pressed to do so even with modern technology.

I ‘get’ where he’s coming from but at this point in time taking the anti-colonial line might be more helpful for me and mine than taking the line of empire.

The imperial line is what? Suburbia and Woke Capital? Infinite growth? The dissolution of all prior organic cultures- including my own?

Even if this new culture was born among my ancestors doesn’t mean it belongs to us any longer. I’ve no reason to be loyal to McWorld.

That sort of thing is common during vast migrations of people and has happened throughout history. There is even evidence of it in prehistory. One of my grandfathers was a black Norwegian. A small, black-haired, olive-skinned man, born into a family of six-plus-foot-tall blond men, a genetic throwback to an earlier people who lived in Norway before the Germanic people arrived. They crop up occasionally among the taller, fair-skinned race, the only evidence they ever existed.

      • Kim September 18, 2020 at 10:19 pm #

        @ jeff2002

The Iroquois Confederacy was created through war, conquest and enslavement.

Prior to the arrival of Europeans, war between Indian tribes was endemic to the point that it caused their numbers to fall so low that it threatened their existence. This was one reason why they would kidnap, to maintain their numbers.

War is something that all humans do:

        1) when they are in close proximity under conditions of resource pressure

        2) because it is easier to steal than to work

        3) because people like it, enjoy it, and the thrill of dominance becomes part of their culture, as it was a basic part of Native American culture. The Indians exulted in and celebrated everything about war, its rituals, kidnapping, enslavement, torture, theft, killing! The never rejected it or disapproved of it!

In short, every human society under resource pressure – and maybe even without that – fights aggressive wars, kidnaps, and enslaves.

It is ridiculous to argue that Europeans were uniquely evil in prosecuting wars in the Americas when they were doing nothing different from what the natives were doing. They were just better at it.

As to the cultural arguments, I would agree that few societies benefited from the arrival of Europeans. Indeed, very much to the contrary.

Of course, on one hand I can point out that today the world has 7.5 billion people, mostly brown and black, who have lived lives they would not have had without Western colonialism. Early on, the Western explorers and adventurers revolutionized how Africa ate: the brought taro, corn, sugarcane, and dozens of other high-carb plantation crops to Africa. This caused a population explosion. Larger populations meant larger wars. This meant more available slaves. Excess slaves were sold in every direction of the world.

        Who could have predicted this?

Today, Africa and Asia “benefits” from the Haber-Bosch proces and the Green Revolution. They still live in crowded squalor and under the leadership of cruel barbarians. But they always did! This is nothing new!

It is the way of things. Even when we want to do good, we often do evil.

So many or even most of the negatives of the European arrival were inadvertent and unforeseeable. For North America, the single worst import was probably the horse. Inside 100 years of the release of mustangs into the South West (around 1680) the old walking-based Plains Indian society, millennia old, had been destroyed and replaced by the mobile war or horse society and the Indian West produced war and cruelty on an industrial scale. White people did not make that happen.

But what else could have happened? Cultures meet and swap. Then change occurs and few can forersee the outcomes.

And European imperialism was not different from Chinese or Japanese imperialism, so let’s not make this yet another “blame whitey” game.

Take Australia for example. Its northern reaches were known to Asia for perhaps 1000 years before Cook reached the east coast of Australi in 1770. There was regular trading for sea products with China and Java. China, Japan, and even Java had all had extensive South east Asia empires that were heavily dependent on slaving and slave plantation culture. Plantation slavery was not invented in the West. It was imported into the West from Asia (significantly with sugar planting introduced to Spain by the Muslims).

Once Cook found Australia, what should he have done with the knowledge of its location and resources? Should Australia have been hermetically sealed off? Should Europe have ignored it, steered clear of it?

Should it have been left untouched like the natives are today on the Andaman islands?

But that could never have happened. Australia has a coastline of 13,000 miles. Traders and colonists and invaders were sure to come. Just as the American frontier was wide open to those who dared and the Native Americans welcomed these traders and their goods.

Would it be better for the aboriginese today if Australia spoke Chinese?

Wherever technologically more advanced cultures meet the less advanced, the desire for advanced goods make the less advanced dependent on those goods and make them abandon their material and technical cultural inheritance with the result that they lose the ability to sustain their societies.

But by and large they want to trade because no one knows how much of the past they are destroying – never to be regained – when they embrace the future.

This is all just human nature. We trade, we share knowledge and cultures, and that involves relationships of dominance and submission. You can certainly try to pick apart the threads and look for the threads that blame whitey but it does no good because that kind of blaming is just backed by ignorance and ahistorical “brown and black good/White bad” lies.

In the final analysis, today, all of us here are “native peoples”, culturally speaking, as all of us today are dominated and enslaved by modernity and, just as happened with low-tech native peoples, our past is being destroyed before our eyes even as we exult in the society that is destroying our cultures and values.

We have all lost contact with the culture of self-sustenance, with the land and animals and any knowledge of how to create our own food and shelter and even face to face communities. Soon enough we are going to pay for walking away from the past and our traditions, as modernity did not destroy just native cultures, it has also destroyed our own traditional Western cultures.

But we have no one to blame because we damn well asked for it. People always do.

        • Kim September 18, 2020 at 10:26 pm #

By “plantation slavery” I mean the tropical or sub-tropical plantation slavery of colonialism.

I am aware that you are not sincere in this query – you are attempting some kind of pathetic “gotcha” – but I will give you a little guidance nonetheless.

Bear in mind on this topic that we are dealing with seasonally hunter-gatherer populations that are living at all times on the demographic edge. This was not an era of overpopulation.

Anyway, a five-minute search that you could have done yourelf turned up this:

            https://www.lagrange.edu/resources/pdf/citations08/CULTURALASPECTSOFWARFARE.pdf

Cultural Aspects of Warfare:The Iroquois Institusion [sic] of the Mourning War

The Iroquois…based their warfare on social continuity and spiritual growth. Death in Iroquois society is a direct correlation to the level of tribal spirituality and strength. Sustainability of this strength is maintained through adoption and Mourning War.

the Iroquois practice of warfare was not driven by territorial expansion or economic gain but by the need for social continuity.

Maintenance of population levels was only possible through war and adoption of new members…. War captives were used to replace the dead, literally and symbolically.

According to the Iroquois, no bad deed could go unpunished.
Death that spawned from war was considered traumatic and
caused profound grief to loved ones. The deceased’s family and village suffered a loss of power as a result of this loss of life. The only way to appease the mourning families was to wage vengeance on their killers. “Mourning wars” (wars that were fought to obtain captives) ensured that the spiritual power would not leave the community, but remain in the captive.

The traditional wars of the Five Nations centered on the
            premise of population stability,
which in turn provided individual and collective spiritual power. When a person died, according to the Iroquois, “the power of his or her lineage, clan, and nation diminished in proportion to his or her individual strength.”

Requickening is a ritual in which the deceased’s name, along with the social role and duties it represented, transfers to a successor… the Iroquois gave the potential adoptee presents and the acceptance of such presents would solidify the adoptee’s acceptance into the tribe. The adoptee would then assume all social functions of that tribal member as well as organizing a war party to kill his enemies, in place of the deceased who lives again through him.

        @ Jeff

I think you’re operating under the mistaken impression that civilization doesn’t have a strong biological component. “Rights to self determination” are only conceivable in times of resource abundance. When resources are scarce as they have been through much of human history (a state to which all indications point a near-term and far-term return), it all comes down to which civilizations are best equipped to compete for those resources.

In the case of the European conquest of the Americas, two factors apply. Europeans had achieved the technological level to allow a migration in force across a previously impenetrable barrier (the oceans). Secondly, Europeans simply had immune systems which were better equipped to deal with the selective pressure of disease.
Nature is not fair and it by design creates and favors inequality. Native Americans were on the North American continent for at least 10,000 years; in a mere three centuries, Europeans transformed that continent into the most economically and militarily powerful entity the world has ever seen. If Indigenous peoples had pulled off a fraction of what Europeans accomplished, this continent would likely have been too formidable for invaders to overcome. The resources were in place to do so; the cultural vision wasn’t (a fact which renders Jared Diamond’s musings rather vacuous). The bottom line is that if your cultural practices make you a sheep in a world where wolves prevail, those practices are strongly disfavored by natural selection and your civilization’s days are numbered. It’s just a matter of time.

The rot of academia started long, long time ago.
In 1973 WSJ published an article about Sayre’s Law :

“In any dispute the intensity of feeling is inversely proportional to the value of the issues at stake.”

    Corollary:

That’s amusing but obviously not true. Emotions ran very high up to and during the Civil War and World War Two. Much ado about nothing? I think not.

But yes the puerility is extraordinary but even the Woke Zombies are fighting for their future as “persons” – and beyond that, the future of America. It’s all intersectional. The whole shebang is in every part and every little issue. This is their constant vision. Let’s face it: they are much better at politics than we are because we lack this constant vision, our minds on other things like the Pats/Stealers game or getting a new engine.

      • John1945 September 18, 2020 at 2:16 pm #

What is being discussed with passion is not what is REALLY at stake.

Civil War was not about freeing poor oppressed slaves. There were more than 2 groups of States and Territories i.e. North vs South:

        Pro-Union Pro-Slavery vs Pro-Union Anti-Slavery vs Anti-Union Pro-Slavery vs Anti-Union Anti-Slavery was more like it.

And WWII was not about Democracy vs Totalitarianism, emphatically it was not !!!

  13. getsome September 18, 2020 at 10:37 am #

The democratic genius who formulated these actions that identify one as being of acceptable ideation should be recognized by we of less than “woketernis” for outstanding service to society. We now have a foolproof method by which evil/incompetent/stupid members in upper echelons of mostly large institutions/govt reveal themselves. Additionally, they’ve “woken” up segments of society – most notably African Americans – to the danger of deranged policies associated with the democratic party. Way to go! On a sad note, all the ab work I’ve been doing to prepare for gut busting laughing at biden’s attempts at having to actually compose thoughts AND then verbalize them is, according to James Howard, for naught. I cannot wait to see/hear exactly this will be rationalized by the dims.

    • SW September 18, 2020 at 10:53 am #

Nancy Pelosi has already made a foray into an explanation why Biden won’t participate in debates — “it’s beneath him to engage Trump on this level” — so we’ll have to see if they can dredge up a better excuse than that.

Cornell has also issued a letter stating they need to meet quotas to correct inequality. No word in any of this of the basic qualifications people need to meet to either be a professor at Cornell or a student. These universities seem to have forgotten their primary reason for existing is educate students, not express political beliefs.

      • JohnAZ September 18, 2020 at 12:23 pm #

        Quotas to correct inequality?

The Blacks are 13% of the population. What is the percentage of Blacks entering college today? How many graduate? What is the Black college success rate compared to White? Why aren’t the sociologists working on this non-success situation? It is just another excuse to subvert the Blacks into the dependent role the Left wants.

        • Sredni Vashtar September 18, 2020 at 2:07 pm #

Well that’s the very mentality that got us here. It was noted that Blacks get kicked out of class more often than Whites. So is it racism or their bad behavior? Racism, right? So now they get to act up all day long to keep up appearances of equality. Guess what? There is no such animal. Are we equal to them? No. Likewise they are not equal to us. They run faster and they act up more. Their “right” is to go to the principle more often.

          • JohnAZ September 18, 2020 at 4:12 pm #

No, that is not my point at all.

Blacks need to earn their way, with whatever talents they have, their expectation of “gimme” is what has put them where they are, not White supremacy. White supremacy is a Black racist excuse for their failure through the years. It is BS, beyond a few Right wingnuts, the Whites could care less about the Black plight.

Blacks do not get kicked out of college, they leave. No.1, it does not fit their social model, no.2, they are not prepared by their educational upbringing sufficiently. The only racism that exists is the BS that the professors teach the young minds. And that is anti White racism.

The greatest con job in history is the pro’ widdle me Black gimme artists. They have all the rights accorded to any American and they choose to blow it. The biggest suckers are the really stupid White students that buy all this BS.

          • Sredni Vashtar September 18, 2020 at 5:57 pm #

Ok. Now we have to stop letting them in to begin with since they aren’t qualified. And nothing is more corrupt than turning our colleges into farms for Pro-Football.

        • Jo-G September 18, 2020 at 3:30 pm #

Its part of a larger scam. Students leaving high-school are told to go to college. They go into debt to get that ticket (gender studies) to a cushy job where they can pay their debts. Drop out because they can’t do the academic work for even the most BS degree but still have a few years of debt. Follow the money. Who benefits from this scheme? Not the ill-prepared students.

        • abbybwood September 19, 2020 at 8:57 pm #

          Which reminds me….

How do ANY college football players get degrees?

Are they attending all the classes? Writing 100 page term papers? Passing all the “tests”?

Somebody should produce a documentary about THIS charade!

Almost makes Lori Loughlin seem innocent!

          • Kim September 19, 2020 at 9:35 pm #

That would be a very compelling documentary. Dangerous to let people know you were making it. Would have to be very sly.

It is beneath the citizens of the United States to cast a vote for any candidate who has proven himself to be either a coward, incompetent or mentally unfit for office.

If Biden tries to debate for three hours with President Trump he will lose. If his team tries to slither him out of the debates with bullshit reasons, he will lose.

No wonder Harris has been floating the “Harris/Biden Administration” bait and switch meme.

Let’s give the DNC some more shovels so they can just keep on a diggin’ that big corrupt hole they’ve started for themselves.

        • Sredni Vashtar September 18, 2020 at 2:08 pm #

Yeah just have Harris come and debate. Can they never be above board?

          • beantownbill. September 18, 2020 at 3:12 pm #

As I remember it, during one short time period Harris won a debate and rose much higher in the polls. If Trump has an off-day and Harris is psyched and debates very well, she could surprise a lot of us, as time is short. Not saying she’s fit for the job, but like pro sports, any bad team can beat a better team on any given day. Beware!

        • abbybwood September 19, 2020 at 9:00 pm #

Correction: The debate on September 29th is to be 90 minutes with no commercials. At 9pm EST. Way past the dementia “sundowners” window.

If Biden shows up, I will wager ten minutes and he’s done.

I have this vision of Ahab Pelosi, perfectly coiffed hair unmoving, climbing harpoon ropes up the side of the great golden golem of greatness, anorexic arms stabbing the creature again and again with a harpoon while shrieking; “To the last I grapple with thee; From Hell’s heart I stab at thee; For hate’s sake I spit my last breath at thee.” The monster drags her under and when it breaches again, there she is, bound dead to the beast, one arm beckoning her follows to continue pursuit and joint her in death.

Nothing to do with the education system, Just comments on general government spending. In ’79 when I started on the FD we had a Chief, 4 deputy chiefs, 4 Captains, one woman in the office and 75-80 firefighters. The actual worker bees. Now a Chief, 5 deputies, 9 Captains, 8 lieutenants, and 3 women in the office. with the same 75-80 worker bees. We put out more fires back in the day then these guys ever see with fire codes as they are and new construction. New trucks up the ass including a $1,500,000.00 platform truck which they wear out with hours of training. The feds shower money on the local departments. Everybody is driving $60,000 F150’s. In the 80’s the rank and file were driving rusty ’60s beaters.

My granddad always called that kind of work as being on “the long stringy tit”. Or “suck tit jobs”. Or just “tit jobs” for short. Lol…

He really detested bureaucracy at all levels of government. But he told me when I was in my early twenties that I might as well get on “that long stringy tit” because he foresaw that was where the country was going. Massive government employment. A huge growing sow with many, many tits. Or teats if you prefer.

        I didn’t do it though.

Scott Adams has an interesting view: he says of course systemic racism exists. How could it not? People prefer their own kind – this can be demonstrated in 6 month old infants. It’s hard-wired. The question is, what is the most effective way to cope with it, since it CANNOT be eliminated? His number one answer is: education.

    • JohnAZ September 18, 2020 at 12:31 pm #

Will education create a society where neighbors are mixed? How does a controlling entity get mixed neighborhoods to happen? Answer, it cannot.

Look at integrated schools where kids that have not had a chance to be indoctrinated by the adult world, people stick with their own types. How do you beat Mother Nature? In spite of the idyllic world the media and Hollywood keeps trying to shove down our throats. Answer, you cannot.

Natural law is competition. In the US, people and institutions compete for the buck. What happens when a group fail to compete?

      BLM!

    • Sredni Vashtar September 18, 2020 at 2:11 pm #

A cowardly non-answer. This is the danger of being half awake. He thinks we’re all the same if we could just get past prejudice and “color”. Blacks are just Whites with good tans. Sorry Scott! Color is the least of it.

The idea that they may pull old Joe from the line-up at the end of the month is interesting, but I can’t see it happening — the DNC is “all in” on this one, they can’t back off now, esp after they rigged the primary and debate rules to screw over every other contender AND now that they have a Woman-Of-Color heir apparent.

They are blind to the ludicrous reality of the Biden candidacy. Unless that’s really the plan all along. Throw in the towel for 2020 and wait for next time. Emperor Cuomigula from his throne on Eagle Street certainly wants THAT outcome…

You know, here in Singapore where I live there’s actually a small but not negligible community of blacks, many of whom are not surprisingly immigrants. AFAIK they’ve never caused any trouble, and most of them love it here because the rest of Singapore never treated them with any prejudice of any kind whatsoever.

America has a thing or two to learn from Singapore.

From what I understand Singapore doesn’t put up with any bullshit, which is also a factor to consider. I remember in the 90s the authorities there sentenced an American teenager to some cane lashes for vandalism. Bill Clinton tried to get them to change their mind. They told Clinton to go pound sand. Good for them.

      • cbeard September 18, 2020 at 1:33 pm #

Send some of the BLM, Antifa types to Singapore and see how that works out. you can find some responsible blacks that adhere to societal norms here too. Maybe we need to take a lesson from Singapore and stop tolerating all the bullshit.

        • SomeoneInAsia September 18, 2020 at 11:16 pm #

So far there haven’t been any BLM or Antifa types here in Singapore. And if you send whiteys with an aberrant case history into Singapore — which you can’t, thank Heaven — it’ll work out just as badly.

      • abbybwood September 18, 2020 at 1:50 pm #

I am pretty sure it is Singapore where some young adult was found with a joint coming into the country and with swift justice they cut his head off and their drug czar cut out all his teeth to string on a necklace he proudly wore.

People would also get lashes for throwing a piece of chewed gum on the sidewalk.

        AmIright??

      • Sredni Vashtar September 18, 2020 at 2:17 pm #

Yes, we desperately need to bring back public executions. There is nothing cruel or unusual about them. We don’t have to draw and quarter and all that jazz. Just the quick clean kill of a trap door hanging. The educational benefits will be amazing.

    • bluekayak September 18, 2020 at 11:18 am #

I spent several weeks in Singapore during my days as a squid (COMLOGWESTPAC). I found the place amazingly well run, polite, clean, and simply fascinating overall. Step out of line or badmouth the government, apparently you get into hot water, but it seemed to me that, for a supposedly “authoritarian” regime, the government genuinely cared about its people – high quality public housing, top-notch public transport, and generally what seemed to be non-intrusive regulation.
Of course, as a city-state of only 400 square miles, it is inherently more manageable…

I’d love to go back, but I don’t think I have a 20-hour flight left in me..

Everyone who I know who has traveled to Singapore likes it. But there is a problem:

      https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/in-focus-covid19-singapore-migrant-worker-dormitories-lockdown-13081210

Singapore seems to let migrants come to “do the jobs Singaporeans won’t do” but not give them an easy path to citizenship. They’re blaming the covid-19 on crowded dormitories but I recall that the residents of these dormitories broke the rules and went shopping with symptoms.

The blacks here in Korea are better behaved than in the U. S. but still the only violent crime in my town, that has come to my attention was a black man beating a Korean woman. I suspect that Singapore has a filter that blocks miscreants from spending time there. As our host has pointed out the U. S. is a place where “anything goes, nothing matters, and nobody cares”.

    • Kim September 19, 2020 at 9:46 pm #

There are overstaying African negroes in pockets in the biggest cities all over SEA. They live by crime and are barely tolerated. Their preferred way of living is by pimping out stupid girls off the bus from the provinces.

I had an American friend in Jakarta who married a local girl. The new wife went to immigration wrt visas.

      “Your husband is American?”
      “Yes.”
Official rifles through papers. Finds passport photo.
      “He is white American.”
      “Yes.”
      “Okay.” Stamps documents. Application proceeds.

South East Asians despise blacks. They are notorious or being pimps shabu (meth) dealers, thieves and rapists.

From what I understand the ‘Assault on Washington’ scheduled to begin this week and last until election day, has been cancelled. I think because of lack of interest. Another factor could be the mass arrests the feds are making across the country of criminals identified as looters, arsonists, and insurrectionists during the rioting in the summer. Hundreds of hours of video exist of criminal acts being committed in Portland alone, which is being poured over by the FBI, Postal Inspectors, Homeland Security and ATF. Individuals who cloaked themselves in anonymity, caught up in the revolutionary moment, pointing lazers at police, setting fires at the Federal CH, shooting fireworks at DHS officers, burning precincts, looting … are being identified and named. They are f#kkd. Have you read The Trial by Kafka? That’s how their lives will be from now on. 40 years from now these morons could show up at the Social Security office to apply for benefits only to find out a federal warrant has been issued for them from the time they tossed a molotov cocktail at police barricades back in the heady and halcyon summer of 2020 haha.

I am still scratching my head trying to understand what the two young female lawyers in NYC were thinking when they were caught with Molotov cocktails trying to set fires during one of the recent “protests” where looting, arson and mayhem were taking place.

They have both been indicted and if convicted they will be facing many years in prison and will certainly lose their licenses to practice law.

And they will STILL have to pay back all the loans they took out for law school (unless they have rich parents who picked up their tabs).

Not all academia is bad, corrupt and spineless.Real scientific research still goes on,recently propelled forward by the Human Genome Project.

I was watching the battle of Physical Anthropology vs Cultural Anthropology for more than 50 years. It is like Pygmies fighting Giants.

Cultural Anthropology recently became a Critical Race Theory i.e. Propaganda + elements of Kama-Sutra (bending over in the process kneeling).

My deepest gratitude to the REAL scientists who still have time to popularize their discoveries for uneducated Yeoman like me.

“The Egyptians also attributed behaviors to the different groups,
some favorable, some derogatory and stereotyped. For example, a stele (an inscribed stone column that serves as a marker and looks somewhat like a tombstone) from Twelfth Dynasty Pharaoh Sesostris III (circa 1887-1849 BC ) ridicules black Africans: “The Nubian [black African] obeys the man who puts him down. When you oppose him he turns tail; when you give ground he becomes aggressive. They are not a people of might, they are poor and faint-hearted.”

And their stele records history’s first color bar, forbidding blacks from entering Pharaoh’s domain: “Southern Boundary. Raised in the eighth year of the reign of Sesostris III, King of Upper and Lower Egypt, to whom be life throughout all ages. No Negro shall cross this boundary by water or by land, by ship or with his flocks, save for the purpose of trade or to make purchases in some post.”

My first impulse was reply to Tom Clark (11:39 AM) and discuss inclusion of railway subject in the technical courses: “GCOR”, in context of need for rebuilding Breadbasket rail corridor, including Canadian Wheat Trust Province lines. Famine Hedge.

Later arrival and John 1945 has opened the door for some science talking. Tearing down statues should include revered (and darling of subsidized academia) clam doctor Charles Darwin, racism prop par excellence.

If Divine plan for individual humans’ lives does not appeal, recent use of the word “Science” & “Scientific” as an exhaustively repeated talking point by one party against the other needs attention… Science becomes a petard, a strong lance on which to hang Roe v. Wade until it expires. Biblical reference to shedding of innocent blood (Proverbs 6: v-16 to v-19 covers) is cultural with gravitas; Science tells us the human “person” is established at the earliest stage of cell division after conception. Lawyers and politicians and “Planned Parenthood” cannot alter the science of Human life.

They have (or at least they thought they did) Whites so totally on the ropes that they were beginning to reverse anti-discrimination laws so they could legally savage us. See the efforts of Congress Woman Bass, a lady of Color, natch.

No mistake, volks. It was always going to come to this. Multiculturalism is a strictly White idea. The other races, being much closer to Nature, cling to the natural law of like unto like. A robin mating with a robin, not a blue jay. Red with Red and Blue with Blue. To put it more precisely, Sir Arthur Keith’s Law of Amity and Enmity. One must love one’s people with a savage love and hate one’s enemies with a savage hate. How else does one not only survive, but prosper? Did I just make that up? No, you can google it. Google it while you can. It may not be there “after the election”.

No law against appreciating other peoples of course, preferably from a distance. A man grown tall can look over his fence and admire the the fruits and flowers in his neighbor’s garden – or note the lack thereof.

You don’t have to hate other peoples who aren’t your enemies. Keeping them out insures that they won’t ever become your enemies. On the basis of such strength and clarity, good relations of trade and travel will become possible again. The nightmare of mass immigration and cultural balkanization will be just something taught in advanced classes in college. No normal person would have ever thought of such a thing. Only greed driven “businessmen” and their paid Marxist infiltrators.

Way back, Whites lived in Europe, Asians lived in, Asia, Blacks lived in Africa, Semites lived in the Middle East, Native Americans lived in the Western Hemisphere. Border battles have always existed, intra area Battles always fought, but the big divisions always existed.

Until the age of exploration aka the 1400 to 1500s. The big groups have never mixed well anywhere since. America’s Constitution was the opportunity to blend mega cultures into one. Today’s world shows it will never work.

Janos. Complaining about the presence of these various groups is one thing, what do you do about it is another. The lack of an answer is about to destroy the great American experiment.

“…Joe Biden will call in ‘sick’ to the presidential candidates’ debate on Tuesday, September 29, and within days the Democratic Party will be obliged to replace him.”

May not be a phone call. He may just being in a hand-written note from President Harris. On her printed stationery. With the presidential seal already affixed. On September 28th.

…“the ‘systemic racism’ hustle cooked up by ‘progressive’ anarcho-terrorists to provoke hatred and division in a nation sore…”

People of all colors and creeds seem to prefer their own kind. Is that being racist, or is that simply a fundamental part of the human condition? And if it is fundamental, then isn’t everyone a racist? If so, when does everyone begin NOT to prefer their own kind? Is that any kind of a place a human being can even go?

“Next up: University of Chicago President Robert Zimmer, whose graduate school of English Language Studies announced that it is ‘accepting only applicants interested in working in and with Black Studies’ for the 2020-2021 admissions cycle. Hmmmm, no studies at all of literature written by white people allowed? Sounds a little discriminatory, possibly even racist!”

Every generation seems to have its fill-in-the-blank moment when they decide which race is responsible for all the world’s ill. This time around, it’s White Folks turn to occupy the space. As we well know, each race gets its turn to be the Bad Guys and Source of All Problems. We humans are such deep thinkers, aren’t we? Broad brushes for everything, no depth of thinking, no shades of grey, everything is all-or-nothing. Many thousands of years since we clawed our way up the food chain and THIS is all we have to show for it? Wonder where the dinosaurs would be today if it were for that damned asteroid.

If I could get my mitts on just 25 barrels of oil a day I’d be sitting pretty. In Titusville and Oil City, Penn., sites of Colonel Drake’s (a Connecticut investor looking for the main chance) first oil strikes in 1859, residents maintain rudimentary oil wells in their backyards, sometimes 3 or 4 wells pumping 10-15 barrels of crude per day, which they put in barrels and ship out by rail. That’s how they live.

The 1619 Project is a vile distortion of American History – as even many Socialists and Liberals have quietly stated.

    Wiki

Beginning in October 2019, the World Socialist Web Site published a series of interviews with prominent historians critical of the 1619 Project, including Victoria E. Bynum, James M. McPherson, Gordon S. Wood, James Oakes, Richard Carwardine and Clayborne Carson. In an essay for The New York Review of Books, historian Sean Wilentz accused the 1619 Project of cynicism for its portrayal of the American Revolution, the Civil War and Abraham Lincoln, who Wilentz wrote is “rendered as a white supremacist.”

In December 2019, five leading American historians, Sean Wilentz, James McPherson, Gordon Wood, Victoria Bynum and James Oakes, sent a letter to the Times expressing objections to the framing of the project and accusing the authors of a “displacement of historical understanding by ideology”. The letter disputed the claim, made in the Hannah-Jones’ introductory essay to the 1619 Project, that “one of the primary reasons the colonists decided to declare their independence from Britain was because they wanted to protect the institution of slavery”. The Times published the letter along with a rebuttal from the magazine’s editor-in-chief, Jake Silverstein. Wood responded in a letter, “I don’t know of any colonist who said that they wanted independence in order to preserve their slaves […] No colonist expressed alarm that the mother country was out to abolish slavery in 1776.” In an article in The Atlantic, Wilentz responded to Silverstein, writing, “No effort to educate the public in order to advance social justice can afford to dispense with a respect for basic facts”, and disputing the factual accuracy of Silverstein’s defense of the project.

Also during December 2019, twelve scholars and political scientists specializing in the American Civil War sent a letter to the Times saying that “The 1619 Project offers a historically-limited view of slavery.” While agreeing to the importance of examining American slavery, they objected to the portrayal of slavery as a uniquely American phenomenon, to construing slavery as a capitalist venture despite documented anti-capitalist sentiment among many Southern slaveholders, and to presenting out-of-context quotes of a conversation between Abraham Lincoln and “five esteemed free black men”. The following month, Times editor Jake Silverstein replied with notes from the research desk, concluding that the scholars had requested the inclusion of additional information, rather than corrections to existing information.

In March 2020, historian Leslie M. Harris, who was consulted for the Project, wrote in Politico that she had warned that the idea that the American Revolution was fought to protect slavery was inaccurate, and that the Times made avoidable mistakes, but that the project was “a much-needed corrective to the blindly celebratory histories”. Hannah-Jones has also said that she stands by the claim that slavery helped fuel the revolution, though she concedes she might have phrased it too strongly in her essay, in a way that could give readers the impression that the support for slavery was universal. On March 11, 2020, Silverstein authored an “update” in the form of a “clarification” on Times’ website, correcting Hannah-Jones’s essay to state that “protecting slavery was a primary motivation for some of the colonists”.

SV: The guy putting this together, one Jake Silverstein, does not seem to be related to Lucky Larry Silverstein, the Twin Towers developer.

Hannah Jones is a Black woman with really weird colored hair, kind of purple/pink. Not much more need be said about her. Neither her nor Jake know much about American History nor care to know nor care about the real America. Slavery is presented as a uniquely White American thing – as if Blacks didn’t practice it along with many other peoples and cultures.

    • JohnAZ September 18, 2020 at 8:09 pm #

The thing that really sucks about this 1619 BS is that there is one history of the United States with contributions from all directions, all races, both sexes. Blacks do not own our history any more than Whites, Latinos or Chinese. This separation is being encouraged by the Left, who want the history distorted or destroyed. The Left wants this country gone, period, replaced by they know not what.

Today’s and tomorrow’s happenings have our history to shape what happens. If you want to destroy a people, destroy their history. That is the goal of the Left.

Roth Bader Ginsburg is gone, downed by pancreatic cancer. Trump will wait a little while and nominate a conservative woman to take her place, who will soar through the Senate. The Dems are going to scream bloody murder. Tough! If confirmed, this justice will go a long way in blocking the Leftist takeover of the country.

      • Sredni Vashtar September 19, 2020 at 1:07 pm #

Yeah cuz those races contributed just as much or more than Whites, right?

Why is Larry, lucky? Not sure! But why is he called that? Because he took out a big insurance policy on the Towers shortly before that attack. That’s lucky! To say that it wasn’t luck would be conspiracy theory and who wants to traffic in conspiracy like the Founding Fathers?

  40. xxzzy999 September 18, 2020 at 6:25 pm #

The Democrat Party has become the (Socialist Identity Party) and promise Progressive fantasies, (“The Carrot”), i.e. Bernie’s unsustainable Socialist programs to further their evolving Marxist/Maoist ideology (“The Stick”). Maoist methods (Cancel Culture) are used to erase America’s Customs, Culture, History, and Established Ideas in their strategy to destroy America’s current form of government based on the Founding Father’s Constitutional blueprint. Their ultimate goal is to install a Totalitarian atheistic government that starts out as a form of corrupt and unworkable Socialism.

America endured 8 years of Obama’s criminal political assault and his failed coup called (RussiaGate) to overthrow President Trump. RussiaGate was a conspiracy to overthrow a sitting president carried out by a coordinated effort of high-ranking government employees across many agencies, who knew exactly what they were doing. Americans are starting to understand how the Obama administration weaponized the DOJ, FBI, CIA and IRS to go after his political opponents, and in doing so, he trampled the Constitution and fueled the violent overthrow of cultural norms. America, in her glorious history, has never experienced anything in politics as corrupt as Obama’s RussiaGate. Nixon’s WaterGate political crimes look like an overdue library book by comparison.

Read “The Permanent Coup”, by: Lee Smith to fully understand the scope and depth of Obama’s RussiaGate crimes. Try the “Audible” version.

Lee Smith is an investigative journalist with a very good reputation. This book chronicles Russiagate from beginning to present day. This book puts it all together, and there are many elements or chapters of Russiagate. After you read this book, you will understand RussiaGate better than 99% of Americans.

This book doesn’t get into why nothing has happened. Of course we are all waiting to the Durham Report and hopping he will grow a set and actually do something…. bu the jury is still out. One thing that has happened related to Durham’s probe is that lawyer Kevin Clinesmith admitted to altering an email used to seek surveillance warrants against former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

Bill O’Reilly gave an analysis of how CNN and MSNBC helped elect Trump. They gave him so much negative press in 2016 that his name recognition exploded and people got used to the idea that he could be president. He was on the TV much more time than Clinton.

    Why bring this up?

Because it is what Fox is doing to support Biden. This AM, I watched a couple of hours of the AN lineup on Fox. I watched four minute long commercials for Biden and none for Trump. What a load of crap in all four. The conservative lineup at night have shown much more coverage of Biden’s shenanigans each day than Trump’s. 2016 in reverse. This a a very sneaky way of Fox to support the Left side without pissing off its main viewership. It will not work. The Democrats would have prepared for this:

      – all rioting stops

      – CNN and MSNBC broadcast for 60 days with a black border around the screen

      – demands from people like Stacey Abrams that Republicans must “respect the process”

      – non stop retrospectives on her efforts to lower the age of consent while increasing the number of abortions

      – a fifty-city tour of the tiny legal giant’s waxen figure borne on a massive, ornately decorated wheeled catafalque accompanied by endless flyovers of Air Force honor guards

      – schools opened again so that teachers can explain to students that “Well, no she wasn’t really white” so it’s okay to worship her

      – demands that her witch-like likeness be carved out on Mount Rushmore

      – 24-7 witch hunts for dissenters so disrespectful and unaware of American history as to be heard saying “meh”.

      – “fact checkers” go into overdrive debunking the slander that she was a pedophile enabler

I could go on all day.

    Well, Mr. Kunstler,
You might be right that Biden might not show, but given your track record of your predictions of the imminent fall of society into chaos, the explosion of oil prices and oil’s imminent scarcity, etc., dating into the last decade before the Great Recession, I think it is more likely he will show up.

Unfortunately, because the right (and the president, oh, and you) have made it seem that Mr. Biden will be drooling and unable to put two words together when he gets to that stage, it will look bad for Mr. Trump if Mr. Biden holds his own with him.

Be kinda cool seeing two old guys going toe to toe–two grumpy old men style …

As for the culture wars stuff, I am sure that many of your readers will enjoy the red meat and the low hanging fruit you offer. I hope Princeton gives them (DOE) the money back and embrace the fact that they have indulged in discriminatory practices in the past. Not likely, but how cool if they did! An institution agreeing that there is a price to be paid for past behaviour and wiling to pay it. Good on DoE for putting Princeton in the spotlight. I wonder if you will look at that (if it should happen) as a principled stand or as a foolish cave to those who would “colour” them racist. …?

Yeah I don’t know why there are those such as JHK who keep proposing this “Biden will ultimately drop out” meme. Some think that Hillary will sweep in and take his place. This is pure nonsense. It is way too late in the game for this to happen. Biden recently performed quite well during his townhall thing, for lack of a better word. Most likely Kamala Harris will be president before 2024. I think the DNC is just fine with that scenario. No need to pull him “now”.

I wonder if the investigation into Princeton will go all the way back to when Woodrow Wilson was the president of it? Now he was a real racist. Bonafide. Sympathetic with the Klan and was brought up by a Confederate mother. I’m surprised his statues haven’t been toppled yet.

      • beantownbill. September 19, 2020 at 12:31 pm #

I think you are right, but hope you are wrong. None of us really knows Biden’s mental condition. If he is really losing it, he can temporarily overcome the loss of mental function with a cocktail of drugs. I know this to be true because my mother suffered from dementia. When she was at the stage where Biden appears to be, we gave her a mix of Nmenda and Aricept, and just like her physician said, she had an excellent uptake of mental functioning – only for about 6 months. I’d say to Trump to prepare for the debates by assuming Biden is functioning pretty well. If Biden doesn’t, that’s a bonus.

        • cc rider September 19, 2020 at 12:34 pm #

          Yep.

  46. JohnAZ September 18, 2020 at 9:12 pm #

One effect already. The debates just shrank in impact drastically. The last two months prior to the election are going to be centered on the Supreme Court. If the first two nominees confirmations are any indication, this will overwhelm anything else. Trump better get woman nominee or he will not get past #metoo before the election.

Who is in the power seat? Aha!

Collins, the senator from Alaska, Mc Caskey, I think, and Mitt Romney. RINOs all. We will see how dedicated they are to their masters in the Democratic Party. It could be the end of the liberal side of the GOP.

BTW, the election is not the drop dead date for the nominee, January 20 the is. Plenty of time to block the Dems takeover with a two person majority in the SC. If they takeover.

The Dems are already gathering to figure out what to do. You can bet an onslaught of Liberal BS is about to erupt.

          • JohnAZ September 18, 2020 at 10:18 pm #

Absentee voting began today here in flyover country and absentee ballots were mailed out to those who requested them previously. Coincidently, two presidential candidates showed up on our doorstep, Trump in Bemidji (an outpost about as remote as Saskatoon, but with warmer winters) and Biden in Duluth, a working class town in a beautiful setting that has cashed in recently on the pre-covid tourist boom as industry around it has fallen on hard times. Interesting to compare the media markets of both. Bemidji is a smalltown market for sure, but the Forum News Service out of Fargo in neighboring ND (can you say red state?) pulls a lot of punch in the north. To be fair, they have some excellent writers, especially delving into environmental issues in the northland. Most out-of-staters don’t realize that the Duluth media market is heavily watched in northwest WI, decidedly a swing state. We may have our Minneapolis, but now they have their Kenosha. The difference between Superior, WI and Kenosha is like the difference between night and day. Believe me, I’ve been to both. Superior is a lot like Duluth (they’re called the Twin Ports), while Kenosha might as well be a suburb of Chicago. In fact, many of the Kenosha rioters came from across the border in IL Anyhow, back to Trump in Bemidji. A local wag covering the event there mentioned that “about a dozen” Bemidji State students marched in support of BLM. Not many blacks at Bemidji State and of course no professional sports heroes or Hollywood actors. Maybe a pro hockey player or two, but they don’t mess their lives w/ BLM. Pro hockey is an almost exclusively white sport in case no one noticed. Meanwhile, back in Duluth, Biden was Biden (yawn), appearing at a union hall in a Duluth suburb and schmoozing with some kids in Canal Park on the Duluth lakefront. Lots of angst on the boom-and-bust Iron Range (which Trump alluded to in his comments, playing the hero of course). The latest big issue is the Polymet mine adjacent to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Touted as big job producer, until the mine either plays out or pollutes the hell out of the environment. But then, the BWCA will be around forever, won’t it, so who cares? Local media continues to try to pique interest by saying both candidates may return to the (not yet) frozen tundra before the election. Better bring warm clothes…it can get a mite chilly by mid-October.

    • JohnAZ September 18, 2020 at 10:15 pm #

You are right, Trump takes credit for stuff that all the people contribute to. But think of this, political direction is usually set by the man in the White House. Good economies come from business oriented men, men who support the monied elements of our society. One thing is for certain, a good economy puts to sleep a lot of other problems.

Conversely, a bad economy, right now, allows aholes to erupt everywhere.

The realm of Trump includes many positives that of course he will take credit for. If he doesn’t, his opposition will.

Visitors to Duluth should not miss a tour of the SS William A, Irvin, a well maintained Great Lakes ore freighter, now a floating museum. The Irvin, launched in 1939, hauled up to 14000 tons of iron ore and other bulk cargoes until 1978. She was a coal-burner (gravity-fed boiler) with a compound steam turbine turning generators which powered the electric drive.

Among the highlights of your tour will be the cargo hold, in which a safe stairway has been installed allowing visitors to walk down and then look up at the vast space that was filled with iron ore during voyages. Also the engine room, and a luxury stateroom where VIP guests of US Steel, the ship’s owner, were accommodated. Everything looks as if she could set sail today “fully loaded for Cleveland” to borrow words from Gordon Lightfoot.

The Irvin weathered many storms and survived, unlike another ore freighter, the Edmund Fitzgerald, wrecked on Superior in 1975.

      • sprawlcapital September 19, 2020 at 6:19 pm #

Correction: the Willian A. Irvin was launched in 1938, not 1939.

      • Northern Neck September 20, 2020 at 1:02 am #

I sailed on the Irvin as a deckhand in the summer of 1967. Many fond memories working to open and close the numerous deck hatches while loading in Duluth iron ore and off loading same in places like Southside Chicago or Erie, Pa. We carried coal too upon occasion.
Great Lakes mariners got their mail when going through the locks at
Sault Ste. Marie, MI. The food was excellent. The pay was $3.40/hr.
I made more money that summer than my drafted brother in the Army
made in all of ’67. I think it was United Steel Workers Local 5000 I was a member of ($25.00/month dues). Saw the Edmund Fitzgerald a few times. Also got to see two of the Three Stooges (Moe and Larry) at a fair in Superior, WI next door to Duluth. Herman’s Hermits too. Bum boats would tie up along side when we were unloading selling
Royal Crown whiskey and punch boards used to gamble, and girly magazines, cigarettes, candy, etc. I know I’m off subject but I was happy to see the Irvin mentioned in here. Thanks.

Yours is the mentality of the American Extravert – an often dangerously imbalanced character. Mental illness was endemic on the high seas, mining and logging camps, etc. They’d get into town and blow all their money like losers. It was all over in 75 years. Think of the countless wasted lives.

You don’t have to forget the Glory, but remember this as well.

Most people who hike the Appalachian Trail are weirdo extraverts, obsessed with mileage per day, getting little tickets that indicate they’ve finished a portion of the trail, and comparing their mileage with other weirdo hikers. A few of them do it as a lifestyle, starting again once they’ve finished!

RBG is dead. Requiescat in pace. Decree of fate? Together with the forthcoming Durham revelations, this must be making the Marxists plan more mob attacks on the government. Not even Sörös the Sicko and accomplices had predicted this. What to do?

Dem Adam Schiff is already preparing another Shiffshow together with Pelosi the pissed peacock. The idea is to accuse U.S. Attorney and criminal investigator John Durham, U.S. Attorney General William Barr, the President and anyone else imaginable of the same crimes the Democrats themselves have committed. Bring everything in the federal government to a dead stop while the Democrats steal the presidential election with the aid of their mobs. Use riots to make it impossible for the Senate to seat a Supreme Court justice to replace Saint RBG.

If possible, use foreign agents to engage in false-flag operations against White non-Marxists. Or mentally disturbed Progressives to follow the 2017 example of the assassination attempt on U.S. House Majority Whip Steve Scalise and other Republicans, only on a bigger scale. Forget stuffing ballot boxes. Go for the jugular.

Yeah, show ’em who’s boss. It’s the Democrats’ turn.

13% of the US population is Black. Are you saying that at least 38% of US residents are brown or Asian (totaling 51% non-whites (‘mostly’)? BTW, Lebanese are white, although of darker complexion, sometimes.

BTW, speaking of what the Lebanese man said, I remember staying up on July 20,1969 to watch the moon landing on tv. I was thinking at the time of what a magnificent accomplishment that was; I was amazed and thrilled. A couple of days later on tv, a Black man was interviewed about his thoughts on the moon landing. He said something to the effect that he had no interest in the event because it meant nothing to him or his people. I never forgot that

          Is he a Druze Christian, a Shi’ite, a Sunni?

In any case, Lebanese are not “white”. White is not just a skin color, it is a personality profile. Lebanese are somewhere on the personality continuum, in their own place, a very good one I am sure, but there is no need to code them as something they are not and probably do not want to be,

They are not Saxons. Nor Colts. Nor Gaels. They are not Vikings. They may be Phoenicians and in any case have plenty to be proud of, historically and culturally.

I am sure they are happy with that.

But they are cursed to be living so close to what seems to be the world’s original tinderbox of conflict.

And of course the Thanksgiving comment underlines precisely what makes multiculturalism impossible. Do why was he brought to a USA that he is so emotionally out of step with?

To destroy it, as the Native Indians were destroyed, by the destruction of their cultural glue, their ancient roots and values.

I suspect that once one goes beyond mere Virtual Signaling, actual policy positions (like National Health Care and withdrawal from foreign wars) would step on too many toes to be viable? Hence, default back to a society of virtue signaling Arrant Humbugs?

If it was rumored a leftist put a pillow over RBG’s head I would give it credence, this is a unifying effort for the most part. “Every woman and minority will be doubly hurt” type of demagoguery will now be in play.

Trump might be smart enough to counter this and maybe make some hay out of the women and minorities gig, the other cucks in the GOP are clueless.

The real battle is on the Left, basically the “white liberals” are being elbowed aside by Asians and other non-whites, normally the usual FOX news doofus conservative would play the stooge for the Left, but Trump is not a conservative and perhaps the Left will stooge for him.

It should be obvious by now that ANY TAXPAYER assistance (FEDERAL and/or STATE) funding of ANY institution is a CRIMINAL act of THEFT and/or EXTORTION. There are VOLUNTARY means to REDISTRIBUTE the TAXPAYER’S wealth. Of course, since the invention of ELASTIC MONEY by the private for profit, socialize the losses, too big to fail FEDERAL RESERVE, the money spigot can be funneled to those both in and out of government who will do the master’s bidding. And the master AIN’T “we the people”.

    Big news from Rochester NY.

Apparently there was a block party…some shootin’, and two dead left at the scene…fourteen wounded. Reports were of at least 100 partygoers fleeing the scene.

“Parties remain prohibited under New York state’s coronavirus restrictions, according to Rochester city’s website.

“This is yet another tragedy where individuals are having these illegal, unsanctioned house parties taking place in these properties, which number one is not safe because of Covid,” said Mr Simmons.

“And then you add in alcohol and violence and it just becomes a recipe for disaster.”

Yeah. What a recipe, alcohol and violence. An ingredient seems to be missing, however. A very important one.

Like making rice and beans, and forgetting the rice….

On a more close up and personal level, in a town called Beechgrove, TN, Dangelo Dorsey, 28, a distinguished community member, carjacked Phillip Jordan Steven, age 23, and his pregnant life Aileen, by staging a car accident, kidnapped them, ended up executing Philip in front of his wife, and pushing the body out of a moving car. A lot of other stuff happened too, none of it good, as you can well imagine.

Trump volunteered to take a drug test prior to the debate and challenged Biden to do the same. Biden won’t do it so therefore there must be something to hide. But Biden is just a face anyway. He doesn’t govern himself so he will not be doing any governing no matter what happens. On a separate note. It could be that notorious RBG has been dead for over a year and they are just now pulling her double out of the limelight to activate some marxist enthusiasm. Look at all the fresh “if we don’t get our judge we burnin it all down” talk. The face and the opportunist just really aren’t all that impressive and they never will be so there has to be something or somethings else.

I wouldn’t put anything past them. She might well have been “kept on ice” or mummified. How would we know? And Trump won’t release his tax returns and Biden did, SoftStarLight.. And your point is what exactly? So, Trump has something to hide. No big revelation there, according to your reasoning. And I expect that the potential conflicts of interest in his returns could make interesting reading. To paraphrase the President, “I’m not saying its true, but all I am saying is that he should release those tax returns … before the debate.”

Hi Sredni Vshtar. The uber wealthy have access to lawyers who know know how to work all the loopholes so that much of their wealth is hidden or protected in any case. Trump admitted he uses all the loopholes the system gives him. Why wouldn’t he? If he didn’t he would be the imbecile you say he his. Poor Balin! He seems to have kept the title that he took for less than five years. I wonder what happened afterwards; but there is no time to puzzle out the last few pages. Here is the last page of all.’ He paused and sighed.

`It is grim reading,’ he said. ‘I fear their end was cruel. Listen! We cannot get out. We cannot get out. They have taken the Bridge and second hall. Frár and Lóni and Náli fell there. Then there are four lines smeared so that I can only read went 5 days ago. The last lines run the pool is up to the wall at Westgate. The Watcher in the Water took Óin. We cannot get out. The end comes, and then drums, drums in the deep. I wonder what that means. The last thing written is in a trailing scrawl of elf-letters: they are coming. There is nothing more.’ Gandalf paused and stood in silent thought.

Former president Obama, he of cigarettes smoked by the pack and of but slight character, has issued a statement that in replacing Justice Ginsburg Republicans ought to follow the rule laid down in the debacle around the nomination and failed confirmation of Merrick Garland–do not proceed until after the election.

This from the gentleman who gave a speech during the recent Democratic National Convention in which he expressed admiration for, and gave thanks to, the young people who have led us this past summer.

    As we well know, those young people led us in the following ways: they directed powerful lasers at the eyes of law enforcement personnel in efforts to blind them; they threw bricks and frozen water bottles at police; they smashed store windows and looted stores, in what they consider “reparations”; they set fire to buildings, and attempted murder by trying to trap people in those burning buildings;
in Seattle they set up a lawless zone, called variously “CHAZ” or “CHOP”, in which murder was committed; and much more.

Worst of all, these young leaders so intimidated pathetic democrat governors and mayors that the rule of law was abandoned, and mob rule established in its place.

The credibility of Barack Obama is zero. His lecturing the nation on what is proper or not as we move ahead to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Court is the very definition of absurd.

    Gentlemen;

Do you realize how deep is this BS aka Critical Race Theory ?

Here are just major subdivisions. If I’ll go into sub-field I will lose my mind:

    -Critical race feminism (CRF)
    -Latino critical race studies (LatCrit),
-Asian American critical race studies (AsianCrit)
-South Asian American critical race studies (DesiCrit)
-American Indian critical race studies (sometimes called TribalCrit).
    -Second Wave Whiteness (SWW)
-Disability critical race studies (DisCrit), which combines Disability Studies and Critical Race Theory

Judge Richard Posner of the U.S. Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals has labeled critical race theorists and postmodernists the ‘lunatic core’ of ‘radical legal egalitarianism’.

    He wrote:

“What is most arresting about critical race theory is that it turns its back on the Western tradition of rational inquiry, forswearing analysis for narrative.

Rather than marshal logical arguments and empirical data, critical race theorists tell stories – fictional, science-fictional, quasi-fictional, autobiographical, anecdotal – designed to expose the pervasive and debilitating racism of America today.

By repudiating reasoned argumentation, the storytellers reinforce stereotypes about the intellectual capacities of nonwhites.”

    1. George Floyd funeral in Houston, Minneapolis Mayor Frey bursting into tears while saying what a tragic loss the death of George Floyd is.

    2. Mayor Wheeler in Portland joining the BLM/Antifa mob demonstrating at the Federal CH, gets a frozen water bottle off the side of the head, then tear gassed

    3. Police Chief in Webster, Mass greeting a mob of rabble who showed up at the police station, joins mob on the street and actually gets down on his belly and crawls like a worm.

    4. Closer to home, on Rte 95 near Bridgeport, Ct, State Troopers under order of the Governor, accompany mob of protestors up on to the most heavily traveled road in America, stopping traffic for miles in each direction. And when Troopers are taking a knee’ with protestors, other protestors are filtering thru stopped traffic, kicking in car doors, smashing windows, and robbing people.

    5. CNN reporter standing before burning buildings in Portland, Seattle, Kenosha and Rochester, calling the protests “fiery but peaceful.”

    6. The guy in Portland who caught on fire when a molotov cocktail he was throwing went awry.

That’s just a few of the memorable moments from the summer of 2020. I’m sure you have your favorites too.

      Kim,

Yes, but McConnell established a precedent for not allowing a vote on a nominee in an election year. A precedent which he is now flagrantly violating.

You know this. Everyone reading your post knows this. Everyone reading your post knows you know it. So why bother to pretend that this critical part of the context for the Obama quote doesn’t exist?

Why don’t you just take the position that whichever party controls the Senate can decide whether or not to call a vote on a SCOTUS nominee, full stop? It would conflict with decades of political norms, just as McConnell’s 2016 decision did, but at least it wouldn’t be both intellectually dishonest and dopey, like your post is.

      • JohnAZ September 20, 2020 at 7:08 pm #

The conservative side is finally learning the rough side of politics. Trump had to show them I guess.

Obama appointed a justice in 2016. His appointment was rejected. Merrick was not approved, it was not even brought to a vote. Why, the power in the Senate was conservative. But Obama did appoint him.

I will be loving the reaction of the Dems in the House as the Senate has control here. Pelosi can GTH. Dems scream all you want.

        Hahahahahaha! Power will prevail.

Mitt Romney and his cohorts of conservative traitors can GTH too.

      • Kim September 20, 2020 at 8:25 pm #

        @ HapMan

You whined “but McConnell established a precedent for not allowing a vote on a nominee in an election year. A precedent which he is now flagrantly violating.”

        1. As you know, the context of the McConnell decision was that the Presidency and the Senate were not in the hands of the same party. It would have been a waste of time to go through the process when no agreement was possible. To not proceed was therefore simply a commonsense matter of practical economy.

        2. No “precedent” was established. What McConnell did may as well be called an “error” as a “precedent”.

        3. Precedents – where it is generally agreed they exist – are ignored with great regularity in politics. They are not binding. They are mere politesse. That is one reason why they are called “precedents” and not “laws” or “rules”.

        4. So why bother to pretend that this critical part of the context for the Obama quote doesn’t exist?

Obama was very, very clear in his stated opinion. Watch the clip again.

        5. LOL

        • HapMan September 20, 2020 at 9:16 pm #

          Kim,

          1. Baloney. You’re just trolling now. McConnell was very clear at the time. He stated his decision as based on a principle, namely that a justice should not be seated in an election year. As he knew and you know, if a vote had been held, Garland (who was respected on both sides of the aisle) would have gotten all Dem votes and at least a handful of Rep votes, and thus would have been seated.

          2. McConnell purported to provide a principle as the basis for his decision. Thus he did establish a precedent, by definition. Whether he now chooses to disregard or hair-split his way out of it Is a separate issue.

          3. I partly agree with you here – precedents can be broken. But in a well functioning system, they are accorded respect. In a dis-functioning system they are broken just because the precedent-breakers can. JohnAZ, who commented above, is at least honest in acknowledging that this all comes down to power, which was my point, and which you are still very dishonestly pretending is not the case.

          4. Trolling again. You’re deliberately avoiding my point.

          5. You’re a troll.

Some perverts who want to be women think that there can only be Justice if they have enough Money to pay a doctor to drill them a Pussy.

Politicians always like to say: “Nothing is off-the-table.”

Since a fundamental rule of any Negotiation is that the outcome of your negotiation should not leave you worse off, then wouldn’t it be highly irresponsible to put everything on-the-table? That’s probably how we ended up with RussiaGate, Nixon’s bombing of Cambodia, that weirdo LBJ who helped to whack Kennedy, etc.? Shouldn’t people have some moral framework? I watched LJB’s last interview with Walter Cronkite last night. LBJ pretended that he was some big enlightened Civil Rights dude. In reality, LBJ was a horrible racist and a terrible human being.

        https://disrn.com/news/psychiatry-journal-corrects-study-says-transgender-surgeries-offer-no-mental-health-benefits

Gender reassignment surgery and pumping masses of drugs into these poor, confused people (my symathy is entirely genuine, as it must be a nightmare) does not help them.

These poor people are the victims of greedy Big Pharma, greedy surgeons, and some very, very cynical politics.

        https://disrn.com/news/psychiatry-journal-corrects-study-says-transgender-surgeries-offer-no-mental-health-benefits

The physicians also cited findings from a 2011 Swedish study that found that participants with “reassigned” gender had 19 times the rate of completed suicides and almost three times rate of death and in-patient psychiatric care from any cause when compared to the general population.

“This has been a win for patients insofar as sex-reassignment surgery has been demoted from improving mental health to having no effect,” the Public Discourse authors wrote.

The authors also panned similar studies, saying that they were “ethical failures by which doctors cause long-term harm to children and adolescents, all based on political activism supported by faulty science.”

“Our team believes that many of the pro-transition studies we have read fare no better,” the Public Discourse authors said. “Fad medicine is bad medicine, and gender-anxious people deserve better.”

      • Kim September 20, 2020 at 8:44 pm #

Of course, anything Big Pharma is behind should be considered with the greatest of care. It is easily the biggest commercial mafia in the world, exercising almost complete control and a terrible corrupting influence over the media, government health departments, practising and prescribing physisicans, and swathes of corrupted academia and international “health” bodies like the WHO.

I recommend to anyone curious on this topic Peter Gostzsche’s very through and well-documented book on Big Pharma criminality “Deadly Medicines, Organised Crime”.

The Covid fraud is just Big Pharma’s latest boiler room fraud executed on the public welfare. It has been a bnanza so far and once the magic jabs hit the market – and they will be neither safe in effective – expect their fraud and their profits to skyrocket.

And in that connection, here is another surprise (not).

        https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8750139/Scientists-claim-UK-covid-19-victims-July-August-died-causes.html

A third of the people recorded to have died from Covid-19 in July and August may have actually passed away due to other causes, such as cancer or being hit by a car, Oxford University research has suggested

Experts at Oxford University have found that around 30 per cent of those included in the Office for National Statistics’ (ONS) coronavirus deaths toll over the summer actually died primarily from other conditions.

The study shows that people who may have died from cancer or who were run over and killed, but who had tested positive for coronavirus, were included among the virus deaths even though it did not kill them.

It must torment our Magnanimous Host that he must illustrate the symptoms of his Tribe yet, he cannot bring himself to NAME THEM. At first I felt some sympathy for his moral dilemma, but then……

Why shouldn’t he NAME THE JEW? Whites are forced to incriminate themselves and demonize their race based on false charges invented by Jews, magnified by the Jewish Media/Propaganda machine, and enforced by their Black and Mestizo pets on the street.

A Nebraska bar owner that killed a rioter who was attacking him and his business has committed suicide, a friend of Jake Gardner has confirmed to The Gateway Pundit.

The bar owner, Jake Gardner, was indicted by a grand jury on counts of manslaughter, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, attempted first-degree assault and making terrorist threats after intense political pressure was placed on the city. The district attorney had originally ruled it was self defense.

Hard to understand what you are trying to say, through the spluttering and spittle. Nonetheless

      1. You can’t favor mass immigration, legal or especially illegal and still claim that you want to raise working class – or even middle class – wages.

Mass immigration and HB programs force US wages lower.

Are you a propagandist for the Koch brothers?

      2. You can’t favor mass immigration and also caring for the environment. Mass immigration encourages urban sprawl and over-burdens infrastructure and public services.

It is oligarchs and banks that encourage and profit from mass immigration. And it is “envirinmental” organizations like the Sierra Club that are keenest to throw aside their principles to grab that sweet oligarch cash.

You can read all about their corruption here:

      https://www.noozhawk.com/article/021712_joe_guzzardi_sierra_club

      3. No “decent” jobs were offshored to Indonesia, unless you regard sewing and gluing sports shoes as a “decent” job.

By the way, Indonesians very much appreciate these jobs and do not regard themselves as “slaves”. They like these jobs bcs they allow parents to stay home with their families instead of having to – for years at a time – expatriate (legally) for work all over SEA, from Korea to Malaysia.

Such jobs are the difference between a family living in a hut made of plaited bamboo or a house of concrete and brick.

Wake up to yourself, you ignorant fool.

Yeah, right – the jobs were already offshored/outsourced – moron. Besides, They can raise the minimum wage with senate approval – that will never happen.

But what can you expect – who likes skepticism and negativity? Truth simply sux – hope you’re still managing to get a game or two of 9-ball in (or *straight* pool).

        • ZrCrypDiK September 21, 2020 at 5:23 am #

I will say this, maybe it get’s poasted/not deleted. JHK removed a poast of mine about that Tamir Rice 12 year old in Ohio. I still don’t understand why they wouldn’t have just surrounded the park, and announced over the loudspeaker, “DROP YOUR WEAPON.” You see, that’s what prolly happened in the other 9 of 10 cases like that, but in this instance, they drove up through the park barriers, and they felt their own lives were sooo at risk that they had to shoot that rat-F* down instantly (5 shots within 2 seconds?)

Immigration – are you sh! me?!? You ghad damned rat breeders!!! When I was born, there were 3 billion people – now there’s damn near 8 billion. How do you cull the population back to 2/3 billion, other than through some NAZI-esque procedure… How? *WHO* . Yeah we’ve backed ourselves into a corner. We will go over the cliff, hoping to hit that tiny key-hole. GL, m0f0z.

Here it comes shut in round two.
They are already signaling this nonsense.

    Brace for a Lethal Winter
As fall arrives in the Northern Hemisphere and chilly air forces more people indoors, the US needs to brace for a COVID-19 winter surge, Reuters reports. Already, cases are on the rise in 20 out of 50 states—including New Jersey and New York, where cases had been trending downwards for months.

Although new cases are down overall about 50% from the peak in July, the US still reports ~40,000 new infections a day. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, says the US needs to get that number down below 10,000 before flu seasons starts.

That means cutting the infection rate by 75% in a matter of weeks, notes James Hamblin in The Atlantic—almost certainly requiring “widespread lockdowns in which nearly everyone shelters in place,” which seem unlikely in the US political climate.

  93. GoLightRail October 6, 2020 at 6:22 am #

JHK says: “You heard it here first: Joe Biden will call in “sick” to the presidential candidates’ debate on Tuesday, September 29, and within days the Democratic Party will be obliged to replace him. Enough said for now. Wait for it….” Well, we’re still waiting! Yeah, we heard it here first,,, And Last! Kind of ironic too, how it ended up going going down in reality – who ended up getting sick with the “hoax. China virus”. But then again, what’s reality to Trump fans? Who’s gonna build that wall? MEXICO!!!!!!!!!!!!
