America’s first animatronic president outside of Disney World routinely does a disappearing act every weekend. Where does he go? Does his management team plug him into a recharging station? Does he rest on a catafalque in some sub-basement of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue like one of the fabled undead from the Hollywood crypt classics?  Or do they just stuff him into a closet where the rolling podiums and teleprompters are stored?

It’s unclear exactly what his duties were in eight years as vice-president, besides running interference for his busy son, Hunter, who followed the Veep around the world like a Roomba vacuum cleaner picking up nickels and dimes, but Joe did have to answer to the then-Bigger Guy, Barack Obama, and one wonders if that is not still the case. Does he actually meet regularly with go-between Susan Rice, or just wait for instructions, go where he is told to go, and read what has been prepared for him to read?

The executive regime, whatever it actually consists of, has rolled out an impressive first hundred days agenda of orders and acts designed to obliterate whatever remains of an American common culture and a US economy based on the transactions of free individuals. The easiest, and most readily damaging, was to simply reverse the previous administration’s policy of controlling our border with Mexico. All you had to do was order the border agents to do nothing — and let the restless folk to the south hear that the welcome mat was laid out. Voila! An out-of-control border! Just what you want!

It worked so well,  it almost became an embarrassment, except that news media which used to function as the nation’s conscience, has turned sociopathic and is incapable of embarrassment or shame as it bombards the confounded public with narratives that, in any other era, would be easily recognized as rank propaganda. For instance, the apparent fib that Veep Kamala Harris has been placed in charge of managing the situation on the border. In the month since her assignment, she has been seen nowhere near the US-Mexican border, and somehow not a single reporter has asked her to account for that.

The other part of that deal, of course, is to make sure that the newcomers here illegally become Democratic Party voters by demolishing any process that would require proof of citizenship for filing a ballot. That is HR 1, the deviously styled “For the People Act,” wending its wicked way through Congress. The proposed law would attempt to abrogate the constitutional prerogative of the fifty states to craft their own election rules. It couldn’t possibly stand up to a Supreme Court review, and may not even survive its journey through the federal legislature. 75 percent of actual Americans polled favor voter ID, probably for the excellent reason that not requiring ID would be insane.

Is the Democratic Party determined to drive the nation insane? Kind of looks like that. They certainly seem bent on fomenting a race war. That would be insane, but the Democratic Party’s will to punish the nation eclipses all its other hopes, dreams, and aims — and such a degree of sadism tends to indicate a mental health problem. Prior to 2020, they had already destroyed at least a dozen US cities via sheer mal-administration, and the George Floyd riots across the country successfully wrecked much of what bad governance plus the Coronavirus lockdowns had left behind.

Wouldn’t you think that things are already bad enough, for instance, in Minneapolis, what with the Derek Chauvin trial about to entertain the defense’s case, and the courthouse secured like Fort Apache? And so, a fresh incident occurred on Sunday involving one Daunte Wright, 20, shot during a traffic stop. Apparently, there was a warrant out for Mr. Wright, meaning he was a suspect in a crime. When the police tried to detain him, he got back into his car against their clear instructions, raising the possible inference that he might be going for a gun. The officer shot him. A riot ensued, of course. In the chaos, some looting occurred. Black Lives Matter turned out in a matter of minutes, along with members of Daunte Wright’s family. Is another martyr being manufactured?

What message do you suppose the Minneapolis city council sent last month when it settled $27-million on the family of George Floyd — before the trial in the matter even began? It looks more and more like a high stakes hustle: Whatever the truth is about an incident that involves the police, the city will burn and large cash settlements await. Calling personal injury attorney Ben Crump….

And so, the riot season has arrived, as if right on schedule. If Minneapolis and other cities start burning again, will Mr. Biden be positioned to ignore it as he’s ignored the now-lawless situation at the border? Will his managers wind him up to inveigh against “white supremacy?” Or have they set a dynamic feedback loop in motion that is fast running beyond their control — making it clear that perhaps nobody is in charge?

Update 2:pm Monday: Minneapolis police release body-cam video of the Daunte Wright traffic stop. Mr. Wright, standing outside his car, disobeys instructions to be taken into custody on outstanding warrant, then slips away from attempt to handcuff him and back into the driver’s seat. Officer on the driver’s side declares intent to use taser, but grabs handgun instead and fires. A lot to sort out there — except the fact that Duante Wright resisted arrest and attempted to escape the scene.

“Or have they set a dynamic feedback loop in motion that is fast running beyond their control — making it clear that perhaps nobody is in charge?”

That’s the reason that half the nation breaks out in a cold sweat when they wake up each morning…the feeling that no one is in charge.

    • shotho April 12, 2021 at 10:30 am #

They’re in charge, all right. It’s the previous administration that was out of control and I say that with deep regret. The Democrats seem clear about their intentions and are proceeding with haste to accomplish them while Trump continues his demolition of the Republican Party. The future does not look bright.

      • malthuss April 12, 2021 at 10:34 am #

nonsense. you root for the deep state.

          You have no idea.

      • Uncle Bob April 12, 2021 at 10:49 am #

You say you like the idea of endless riots, nonexistent borders, the abrogation of God-given, constitutionally guaranteed rights, theft of personal property by gangs of thugs (including the IRS), and essentially turning America into a socialist worker’s paradise? Gee, that’s swell. If you dont support those things, why do you constantly inveigh against the bellicose, bombastic Trump, who at least tried to fight the revolutionary leftists and the modern-day Junkers (Steyer, Soros, Zuckerberg, Gates, er al) who use them because they want to impose their utopian nightmare upon the United States and the rest of the world?

        • DrTomSchmidt April 12, 2021 at 11:25 am #

He didn’t actually try to fight the leftists, except rhetorically. He did stir them up, and help take out moderate Republicans all over the Northeast. He did to the Republican lower levels what Obama did to the Democrats, losing the House and Senate (tho Obama took six years for that, not 4 like Trump.) and a number of governor’s and legislative chambers (with the loss of MI, WI, PA particularly affecting Trump’s re-election chances).

          • Pete April 12, 2021 at 11:50 am #

“He didn’t actually try to fight the leftists, except rhetorically.”

Then, if all he did was rhetoric, then how can they continue to blame him once the rhetoric stops. No, he did fight against the left agenda. The wall, the tariffs, filling vacancies in the courts.

There’s enough prima facia evidence of a coup. Stop defending it like an acolyte. You cannot argue from the perspective that there was a free and fair election. It was not.

We can’t argue anything political or social from any common perspective because those agreements were set aside by the deep state, even if they were just a pretense to begin with… Today, neither crowd sees themselves bound by those agreements.

The genies are outta the bottle. They aren’t going back in. Like JK said last week, and I paraphrase, it may have been going on for a while, but it was never like it was since Trump was elected in 2016. The DNC owns that, and they will reap the whirlwind.

          • DrTomSchmidt April 12, 2021 at 2:48 pm #

Machiavelli asked whether it was better to be feared, or loved. Trump was loved by his people, but not feared by his enemies. He was weak, never cracking down on them.

Machiavelli did warn against being hated. Trump was hated by the left, but they never feared him. That’s not good.

            Agree on stolen election, btw.

Dispensing ignorance is THE major social control mechanism, as it is cheap, effective, and generally non-destructive in the short run (and oh so fun, too). Unfortunately, as great as it works and as long as it works, the established ignorance is eventually rectified, and if new forms and methods of ignorance do not replace the old, things can go kinetic very quickly.

We are in one of those transitions now – a major one.

Yet, the endless garbage served up daily works so very well because it is human nature that people aren’t interested in the truth, but rather require continuous reassurance that what they already have been made to believe IS the truth.

In other words, ignorance is far preferable to admitting to oneself that they were lied to and that they believed and even defended the lie.

There are number of obvious clues that things are rapidly spinning out of control, but my preferred metric is the explosion in the number of mainstream media channels and the increasing hours of required daily “programming”.

It used to be that Walter Cronkite would show up five evenings per week and yammer for a half hour or so and then one would grab a beer and watch the Honeymooners. Then CNN came along on a few of the new cable systems. Now there are multiple networks built to tailor ignorance to each demographic while still pushing the overall ignorance in the desired direction, and they all run non-stop 24 hours a day.

Then the social media surveillance and propaganda conditioning sites were added in order to assess and track who were accepting of lies and to what degree vs. who were challenging the lies and to what degree.

Eventually, it was determined that those who challenged ignorance were growing and influencing so quickly that they had to be banned immediately, en masse, lest the current lies be overturned too soon and social control be lost.

          • Ron Anselmo April 12, 2021 at 4:54 pm #

            @KappaJoe – Excellent points.

I’m old enough to remember watching Walter Cronkite, but was too young the time to grab a beer for the Honeymooners, but still enjoyed Ralph & Alice – to the moon!

        • draupnir April 12, 2021 at 11:59 am #

I don’t think we’re going to end up with anything nearly as good as a socialist workers’ paradise. I think we’re heading toward something along the lines of an out-of-control, Maoist, Cultural Revolution, accompanied by mass hunger, as the trucks won’t be rolling during the chaos coming this summer. As we head into fall, it will be obvious that nobody is in charge. Maybe what’s left of the government in DC can exert enough control to keep a grip on the area surrounded by razor wire in DC.

          • tully April 12, 2021 at 6:26 pm #

I think the trucks will be rolling, but perhaps not to all locations. Comes down to can the driver make delivery without getting mugged? Safe cities and neighborhoods will be supplied. Not too safe? Not so much.

I’d be surprised if that Taco Bell in Brooklyn Center got a delivery today. Fast food places are often overnight deliveries; drivers two wheel product in, which leaves them very vulnerable if the peaceful protests are in full swing.

        • shotho April 12, 2021 at 5:27 pm #

I don’t constantly inveigh against anyone, much less the sorry people we elect to office today; was simply pointing out that the present regime is organizing their plan quite efficiently. It’s very doubtful that it will make any difference, but, then, Trump didn’t make much difference either.

    • bluedog April 12, 2021 at 12:02 pm #

That’s because the nation has lost what little backbone it ever had and that’s suspect as if they ever had any in the beginning, as its people cower in the cellar hoping someone else will do the heavy lifting, they won’t but don’t tell them that for I think they already suspect it so let it burn for there’s little to save anyway perhaps that will blow away the stench in Washington Seattle LA and other cities in this decaying country, perhaps a move to some other country should be occupying their attention as being the first thing to do while they still have a chance,

          Except in Florida Janos.

We can defend our houses and families by “standing our ground”. Businesses under threat, experiencing violent unrest within 500 feet, can be protected, by business owners shooting looters to kill.

We may be the last state with the rare genetic anomaly of having both balls and common sense.

          • Blackbird April 12, 2021 at 6:17 pm #

Good luck Florida. I left because I expect it to sink into the ground (literally and metaphorically) when things go to hell – I still do. When I jumped, Florida was only a frying pan. Don’t really wanna talk about what I jumped into…

          • Ron Anselmo April 14, 2021 at 9:34 am #

Blackbird – you are correct. After 60 years of observation, tides are rising – no disputing that fact – the only argument becomes the actual cause.

Regardless, coastal Florida will disappear over time. At some point, coastal areas will be “blue-lined”, as were areas that were previously “red-lined” for other lender risk reasons. Meaning that lenders will refuse to lend in areas that rising seas will consume.

Goes without saying that the day “blue-lined” areas are determined, asset values – all properties – within those areas will immediately go to zero.

Have told numerous friends to defy the conventional wisdom of having a primary retirement residence paid off. Build a coastal residence, free & clear, then mortgage it to the hilt – at 2 points today. Put the money somewhere else.

When the area gets “blue-lined” and the house value goes to zero – time for the ol’ 2008 “jingle mail” – send the keys straight back to the lender.

The US Army Corps of Engineers is already working on these “blue-lined” maps. The adoption of these maps may not be for 5 years, or 10 years, but will be immediate when instituted.

As usual, conventional thinking boomers all building coastal retirement homes will get crushed. Unconventional thinkers, not so much – that’s always the way.

          • Blackbird April 14, 2021 at 11:58 am #

            Ron,

Florida is an environmental catastrophe even ignoring climate change. The Everglades, the heart of Florida, survives as a Rube Goldberg contraption, a machine of canals and pump stations to keep the sugarcane fields alive. Everglades National Park is the ecological equivalent of a ship in a bottle.

The east coast traded its beaches for condos. The “coastal construction control line” is supposed to keep new construction landward of the dune, to preserve natural sand cycling. Plot that line on a map and you’ll see new condos halfway across that line. Of course we always maintain some “public beach access” so that every five to seven years we, the taxpayers, can spend millions of dollars to rebuild the beach for the benefit of these condo owners. The offshore borrow pits are exhausted, so new, gray sand full of rocks and coral fragments is pumped onshore, or sand is trucked in from terrestrial sources. The new sand is quickly washed away, on its way out scouring the remaining beach.

Then you have the people. The greediest, most short-sighted, A/C addicted, road ragers I have met in this country. (Speaking of south Florida here.) And more pouring in every day.

          • Ron Anselmo April 14, 2021 at 11:35 pm #

Blackbird – nail on the head my friend. Having been born & raised in Broward County, I’m familiar, too familiar unfortunately, with everything you’ve mentioned.

Big Sugar has had outsized influence on the Florida Water Management Districts forever. Just my opinion, but I still think the Fanjuls, while keeping the lowest of profiles, have always been behind-the-scenes political kingmakers. At the upper reaches of Florida politics, I don’t think anyone gets there without their blessing.

Educated in engineering & construction at UF, I’m also too familiar with the violations of the CCCL & constant beach re-nourishment – on us, as you say.

The South Florida population is exactly as you describe – and you may have been a little too generous in describing them. They are the reason I relocated to North Florida many years ago, to raise my sons with some semblance of a quality childhood. Best decision I ever made.

Unfortunately more pouring in here every day now too. Problem is, they bring their ridiculous ideologies (or try) with them. We have a county Mosquito Control Board composed of immigrant Democrats – an independent Board necessitated, the reasoning goes, by such a complex operation and singularly crucial responsibility.

They recently asked the five-member all-Republican County Commission for $3MM to build a “Mosquito Museum”. As you can imagine, that went over like a fart in church.

Democrats – never met a tax dollar they couldn’t find a reason to completely piss away on some foolishness.

Thanks for your knowledgeable reply Blackbird, it’s nice knowing someone else sees what I see. Misery loves company.

    • MaryV April 12, 2021 at 7:10 pm #

For me, it’s the knowledge of what they are putting in place. Not our puppet pres but the real powers that be. The global technofacism cabal.

  2. DrTomSchmidt April 12, 2021 at 10:28 am #

Or have they set a dynamic feedback loop in motion that is fast running beyond their control — making it clear that perhaps nobody is in charge?

Here I’m glad I read The Long Emergency back in 2006. What’s in charge is the end of cheap oil. nature bats last, so nature is in charge.

The lockdowns and global resets temporarily made oil abundant, so abundant that the price went negative a year ago, briefly. The consistent rise since then indicates that there is a shortage even with grossly reduced demand. Bill Gates got his cessation of commuting by car which has destroyed NYC as a viable business center as collateral damage. But the shortage in oil persists.

George Floyd got arrested for doing exactly what JeromePowell and the elites are doing: passing off fake currency as real. Soon no one will accept the fake money, and the elite scheme collapses.

    When? There’s the question.

    • malthuss April 12, 2021 at 10:34 am #

      what global resets?

      • Uncle Bob April 12, 2021 at 10:52 am #

The one Klaus Schwab and John Kerry want. Indeed, before the election, Kerry told Schwab that Biden also wants the Great Reset, and will force it upon the American people at incredible speed. Not surprisingly, a way was found to get rid of the only effective force opposing them, and to replace him with one of their fellow-travelers.

        • DrTomSchmidt April 12, 2021 at 11:27 am #

This would be the same Trump whose national government advised governors to lock down? Who banned bump stocks? He wasn’t opposing, just only mildly supporting.

    • Enough Already April 12, 2021 at 10:38 am #

You guys have been talking about the end of cheap oil, gasoline shortages, etc. for at least a decade. Yet, yesterday I went to the gas station and filled up my car for about twenty-five bucks. There was no line and nobody seemed to be panicking. Weird.

      • DrTomSchmidt April 12, 2021 at 11:33 am #

You have waves of destruction of demand as per-capita oil decreases, EA. 2008 destroyed the idea that you could buy a house 60 miles outside LA and drive to work in a pickup truck; the additional cost for gasoline made the lower house prices untenable. So that temporarily removed one segment of the population from oil consumption.

When people drop out of the oil-demanding economy, prices will drop. But as more and more people cannot afford oil (that’s what dropping per-capita consumption means), they live poorer and more stressful lives. Those homeless you see who aren’t mentally ill? Their non-participation in intensive oil use left oil for you to use, and their removal in bidding for supply kept your price lower.

Throw them a buck next time you speed past in thanks.

        • Enough Already April 12, 2021 at 11:59 am #

Re: (that’s what dropping per-capita consumption means)

That’s an interesting theory. According to the data, per capita oil consumption peaked in the early-1970s and had been declining on a relatively steady basis ever since. Meanwhile, poverty has fluctuated between 12-15 percent with several peaks and valleys along the way. This has happened even as average commutes and per-capita miles driven has increased. So I’m not sure your explanation makes sense. The better explanation is that automobile engines have become much more efficient over the last 50 years.

          • Amman April 12, 2021 at 1:26 pm #

A whole tank for $25? Interesting. There may not be a gas squeeze after all then. To be honest, I have not yet believed in an oil resource shortage – what there is is more like the absence of a politiical-economic intent and the competence to build a stronger economy. I gaslight, of course, the GUV’NEMENT.

          • DrTomSchmidt April 12, 2021 at 3:05 pm #

Ah, now you’re thinking. Here’s a link and a quote:
            https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2018/08/07/for-most-us-workers-real-wages-have-barely-budged-for-decades/

After adjusting for inflation, however, today’s average hourly wage has just about the same purchasing power it did in 1978, following a long slide in the 1980s and early 1990s and bumpy, inconsistent growth since then. In fact, in real terms average hourly earnings peaked more than 45 years ago: The $4.03-an-hour rate recorded in January 1973 had the same purchasing power that $23.68 would today.

          • Enough Already April 13, 2021 at 8:42 am #

Well, I completely agree with you that the wealth gains in this country have gone disproportionately to the wealthy, while the poor have struggled just to maintain a steady lifestyle. That’s a huge problem in this country.

However, your explanation of per capita oil consumption still falls short. Gasoline prices have not increased in real terms since the 1920s (with ups and downs along the way, obviously).

            https://www.energy.gov/eere/vehicles/fact-915-march-7-2016-average-historical-annual-gasoline-pump-price-1929-2015

Meanwhile, real wages for the poor have also remained steady.

That means that a poor person today can afford the same amount of gasoline that he or she could afford, on average, historically.

Meanwhile, per capita oil consumption for the entire population has declined, even as GDP has grown massively over the last X decades. Vehicle miles traveled (VMT) have also increased enormously. The only explanation for this is that we use oil much more efficiency than we used to.

I drive a 2004 four-door Japanese sedan. It has 94,000 miles on it and I plan to drive it until the wheels fall off, which hopefully is another ten years. I have no need for anything larger and am quite proud to use the things that I have well and efficiently.

      Dr Tom

There are no solutions to the meaningful problems. That is why they reside with the political sphere. That is where inaction, ambivalence and the blame game.

      Shotho

Do you live in America? Do you watch the same news as the rest of us? You think Biden is done so much? He has done squat except start to destroy jobs, destroy the border, bring in more incompetent people, cheat in elections, put a law through to make the cheating legal. When America rejected Trump, it started down the road of obsolescence. Uniparty forever. How does it feel to have your vote no longer matter?

      • DrTomSchmidt April 12, 2021 at 11:36 am #

Yes, there’s really no arguing with depletion, John. Politics used to be a mechanism by which “fairness” was dispensed out of the surplus created by society. Now it’s the mechanism by which the elites get to tell the Deplorables to stuff it.

That works until it doesn’t. It’s breaking down everywhere now in the USA because the average person has gotten wealthier and the median has gotten poorer.

        • Yohannon April 12, 2021 at 12:19 pm #

What’s the difference between the average and the median? The “average person” being a statistic skewed by Walmart, Amazon, etc? Graded on a steep curve?

          • DrTomSchmidt April 12, 2021 at 5:11 pm #

If 9 people in town make $1000, and one person makes 11,000, then the average salary is $2000 and the median is $1000. If the person making $11000 gets a raise to $21000, the average salary in town is now $3000 and the median remains at $1000.

Oversimplified, this is what has happened in the USA as the elites skim more at the top. Until 1973, a rising tide lifted all yachts, and every income group saw gains in income. Since then, most of the gains have gone to the top 10%, who first justified that as “meritocracy.” Maybe, once, it was, too.

Nowadays? Tell me how a competitive market sets CEO pay, most of which derives from “heads I win, tails the shareholders lose” stock options.

“Nature bats last, so nature is in charge”.

Former President Jimmy Carter dedicated his life to a noble cause, unlike the majority of our past presidents.

Jimmy Carter: I Want the ‘Last Guinea Worm to Die Before I Do’
      https://news.yahoo.com/jimmy-carter-want-last-guinea-worm-die-144344529.html

      That was from 2015.

      From 2017:
African worm disease from dirty water nearly eradicated, says Jimmy Carter
      https://www.cbsnews.com/news/guinea-worm-disease-nearly-eradicated-jimmy-carter-says/

      All to the good, bravo.

      More recently:
The End Of Guinea Worm Was Just Around the Corner. Not Anymore
      https://www.npr.org/sections/goatsandsoda/2019/10/04/767177987/the-end-of-guinea-worm-was-just-around-the-corner-not-anymore

I’m not knocking Jimmy or his goal.

What I’m getting at is even when you have a sincere effort by an extremely intelligent man, with very dedicated people working with him, nature resists our efforts.

So how did a bunch of quacks and CEO types with an agenda gain control over nearly the whole world under the guise of a governmental “response” to a virus?

How has anyone been taken in by the “warp speed” vaccine, pushed by a bunch of known kooks?

I’ve been picked on my whole life. Everybody always said that because my last name ended in a vowel, my family was in the Mafia. They hurt my feelings.

The bullies would beat me up because I couldn’t tell them where Jimmy Hoffa was buried. I kept telling them I didn’t know, but they beat me up anyway.

They said my mother only knew how to make spaghetti & lasagna. They said she was such a bad cook that she couldn’t even make sauce – they said the had to buy Ragu. They were so mean.

When I tried surfing, the neighborhood bullies said I would never be a good surfer, because I was “wop-sided”. They hurt my feelings so bad. So bad.

People don’t pay attention, and are lied to through the TV all day every day, or they’re lied to by their place of work/institutions or social media every day all day.

It’s like installing an operating system. Once installed, you introduce ‘apps’ like TDS, which the liberals all immediately got addicted too. Then you are in control of their now-feeble minds.

Seems to be what’s happened. So they just ‘install’ another app that further builds upon the ones (updates?) already there… through the TV, social media, general authoritarian sources and their water carriers…

Clearly. I mean, it did happen and all, but we’ve learned that in no way does it matter how or why someone gets taken down by police.

Only that there should be no police now, and that man was clearly a saint.

Or that they should be morphed into today’s UK cops, running in circles wielding footlong foam dildo bats, chasing their bemused suspect like an old episode of Benny Hill.

“It is always darkest before the dawn.” I said in 2009, its going to get worse before it gets worse.

I don’t know anymore. Are there people other than the MSM and their mouth breathers that actually think what is going on with our institutions is “working”?

We are all so isolated in our own bubbles, it is hard to know what the person behind a mask at the store is in favor of.

I’ve come to the running theory, that if you have willingly taken the vaccine, you are a non thinking individual, not worth my time or investment. Seems like that group is still growing, so my concern is for the thinking people in the world.

Thinking people, build things and are productive, non thinkers take and destroy. We are at a pivot point. The more thinking voices are silenced by MSM, the more I feel it will force the sleepers to awaken.

Make connections with thinking people, and build new structures that move everyone ahead is the only path that is desirable. Even if it all goes to hell, that STILL will be the only way forward, but in simpler terms like James’ WMBH novels.

    • Mountain gal April 12, 2021 at 11:11 am #

      @ sanspeur

I’m seeing more articles lately devoted to how to talk to the unvaccinated to try to change their minds and how selfish and pathological they are. Interesting. A vaccinated friend(well probably former friend now) has accused me of being incredibly selfish for not getting the jab. Now how am I selfish? I’m not preventing those who want it from getting it. I’ve assessed my own personal risk factors and have decided it’s not for me at this time. End of story. If I don’t get a flu shot am I selfish? I really don’t get this nonsense.

And now the push towards vaccinating children is starting. That’s totally crazy as kids rarely get very sick from Covid at all so why do we want to give them an experimental vaccine whose long-term impacts hasn’t been studied in order to “protect” grandma? Let grandma get the vax!

      • thirdcoastlegend April 12, 2021 at 11:26 am #

Market Ticker has some interesting commentary as far as how the youth population should have been managed by a rational response to Covid:

        • Beryl of Oyl April 12, 2021 at 12:03 pm #

As there exists a safe and effective treatment for the virus, the children who did get sicker with it would not be trown to the wolves, either.

The Market Ticker guy has been ahead of the game with his advocacy for Ivermectin. If there is a safe and effective treatment for the virus, it becomes illegal to administer EUS vaccines, and we have seen where knowledge of the possible treatments has been suppressed.

This is the latest in a number of cases where a court had to become involved.

The thing is, if they give someone doing poorly some treatment early on, they can avoid getting to the point where it might not be effective.

In NY anyway, possibly the first state to begin the vaccine passport system, they are still turning away sick people until the get so bad they have to be hospitalized.

They are still evidently using ventilators on these poor souls as well, when we knew last year that not only didn’t they “work”, they were killing people.

The idea that a ventilator was “treatment” for this disease was pushed by the CCP. Yep, it was a commie plot.

Judge orders Batavia hospital to treat coronavirus patient with Ivermectin

We researched the best we could, and made our decision to get them.

Also, I know two people in Peru who died of COVID, both young-ish. Yet I personally know NO ONE here in the USA who has died from it. A neighbor & his wife next door to us had it, and said it was terrible, much worse than normal flu, but stayed home.

        As Nurse Jen asks:

Of course they would! Good people wear masks, vote for Biden, and get vaccinated.

        I know.

I am 71 and a retired R.N. I live with my son and his friends are constantly calling to see if I got the jab yet! No one in our household has gotten it.

I will refuse it because I do not want to be part of a global experimental clinical trial. All other “vaccines” take 5-10 years to be approved because it takes that long to ascertain “long term” side effects.

Also, in my case I am exempt from the Covid jabs because I bruise easily.

When all these worry warts call wondering about my jab status I tell them to mind their own freaking business and to get their noses out of my HIPPA!

“It is hard to know what the person behind a mask at the store is in favor of.”

That is exactly the reason the masking continues, despite all evidence to the contrary that they “work”.

We knew they didn’t work back in March 2020.

Someone I used to work with just put his vaccine card on Facebook. He mentioned his puzzlement that the pass he gets from being vaccinated is only good for 30 days.

        • Islander April 12, 2021 at 4:12 pm #

The supposed reason is because black (I won’t cap) is a “cultural identity and white is not.

IMO this is basically a racist viewpoint whose premise is that all blacks are the same.

First of all, no blacks are actually black, and many so-called blacks are very light. Such as Sparkle. In the bad old days it was racist to apply the “one drop” theory such that a person with one drop of n—- blood was considered a n—-.

Now it is PC-obligatory to do exactly this!

Worst of all, they weren’t wearing masks or social distancing. Thank God they weren’t white Christians at an illegal outdoor church service or the police would have been on to them in a flash.

    • Mountain gal April 12, 2021 at 11:12 am #

Wow. OK. Maybe these people have to much time on their hands; they need to get jobs or something.

      • draupnir April 12, 2021 at 12:19 pm #

The funny thing about that is that there are lots of jobs out there. Employers apparently are nearly desperate to fill openings, but can find no one to do the work. One small business owner was complaining that she laid off her two employees at the start of the pandemic and now they won’t come back to work. These are low-paying jobs and no one who is collecting unemployment will take them. Unemployment pays better and looks like it will be unending. Who wants to work for less than unemployment is paying. My best memories of my working years are the two years I spent on unemployment during he Regan recession.

        • Yohannon April 12, 2021 at 12:32 pm #

Yeah, well they should pay people more then. There’s nothing a White Man hates more than paying another White Man a living wage.

          • draupnir April 12, 2021 at 1:29 pm #

They may have to do that, and it will need to be substantially more. If you’re getting 400 a week on unemployment, it’s probably not worth it to a lot of people to get out of bed and get dressed and out the door for 500 a week, considering you have to spend 40 hours at work, plus commute and whatever other expense is involved to do something awful.

          • Anthea April 12, 2021 at 1:48 pm #

You should start a business and pay all your employees a living wage. You seem quite familiar with these matters. I think you are ready.

          • Yohannon April 12, 2021 at 2:23 pm #

Ok, just have your wife and kids as your slave labor – if you want to think about it that way. Maybe your brother too. All in the family.

People need a certain amount to live. Many jobs don’t pay that. Thus the people go under – or they have to get help from the government. The same people who hate welfare and food stamps also hate the idea of paying people more. Make sense? No it doesn’t. At the very least the big boys like Walmart should be made to pay more. Their business plan of employees on relief is famous.

Missouri outside of the big cities and Columbia, home of Mizzou.

It’s not perfect, but it can work for some. In the long term, we have sufficient water, decent farmland, adequate rainfall, and access to two major waterways should river transportation become more important in the years ahead. There is a reason St Louis and KC are right where they are.

And why not? Soon enough there wii be another opportunity. Conclusion of the Chauvin trial may leave Minneapolis like Detroit; fully expect other cities to join in.

Expecting full on riots and looting regardless of the verdict.

        • Tekapo April 12, 2021 at 3:06 pm #

It’s really hard for Black people to take a trick sometimes.

If they’re poor they are branded lazy and dumb, and probably drug-addled, if they’re just struggling or middling along they’re spending the cash they have on ridiculous stuff and shiny objects – and if they’re rich – and invest wisely in say real estate – they’re obviously hustlers, hypocrites, race traitors, etc etc.

There is no direct suggestion that Ms Khan-Cullors has stolen or misspent BLM funds, but it is the unsubtle subtext. Also there are no laws saying that “socialists” have to be poor.

She has talent and skills – and tapped into something deep, and wrote a best-seller, and made a buck. I think her critics are just very envious.

Mind you, I can think of few things worse than a house in a compound with Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake as neighbors …

No that’s not right – I don’t like televangelists either, but if they get away with happy-clapping the $$$, then good luck to them.

My point was that Blacks in general can’t take a trick … if they’re poor they get kicked around for being so, and if they make a buck they get kicked around for being race traitors.

Agree with never. I’ve gone over the BLM (.com – because not a nonprofit) site with a fine tooth comb, can’t find any transparency with their donations, etc. APparently if you’re not a non-profit you don’t have to divulge that stuff?

Pretty shady and no reporters will touch it, for obvious reasons.

          • tully April 13, 2021 at 6:23 am #

The fact all donations are processed through Act Blue is a big red flag for me.

They took in millions last summer. Where exactly has the money been spent in poor black neighborhoods to help people? As you point out, they do not have to divulge how they are using their donations.

    • JohnAZ April 12, 2021 at 11:35 am #

      Mr Mango

The US is under assault from both sides. My post yesterday tried to point that out.

I am afraid that the cities are so inundated now with Blacks that the governance is afraid of them. Fear runs the cities now. Slowly, the governance is turning Black and these people want revenge on the Whites. The Right is also afraid of this group. There does not seem to be a GOP right now and for good reason. Look at Boehners book. Full of Deep State dogma and anti-Trump vitriol. The RINOs sabotaged their party for the Deep State. Both parties are against the populace it seems. That is why Uniparty now exists. Vote no longer counts. The Deep State is busily putting the things into place that make counter movement impossible.

A big question is what happens to the remainder of us, the people that believe in individual responsibility. We are outsiders in the country now. Where to go?

      • Mountain gal April 12, 2021 at 11:51 am #

        @ John AZ

Where to go is the question? I live in a very blue state which has a very low number of blacks, which is how I like it. Sounds racist perhaps but I grew up in a city where I was subjected to busing and pretty much everyone in my entire extended family experienced robbery and violence at the hands of blacks. I swore I’d never raise my own kids in such a place and I didn’t. The problem with my state is that it’s very leftist and ever increasing in that direction. Plus it’s very cold and snowy. But where to move where this isn’t the case? The list of states(and cities/metro areas) that I need to avoid is huge. Seems that only precious few states are not heavily overrun by blacks and other than Hawaii, they’re all pretty cold! Might move back overseas. The US has become a very inhospitable place for me!

        • Yohannon April 12, 2021 at 12:50 pm #

Hawaii is very dangerous for Whites. The natives (and that includes the Portuguese workers who mixed with them) grow up hating us.

The one or two percent of Blacks in Vermont commit an extraordinary amount of the crime there. Yet of course the Left wants more of them to come there. Just a matter of time.

          • Blackbird April 12, 2021 at 12:59 pm #

Fortunately the state of Vermont has hired an “Equity Director” who is determined to ship fresh diversity over, straight from the steamy shores of west Africa, to help shoulder the burden now carried by the oppressed Nation Builders of the Green Mountain State.

          • Mountain gal April 12, 2021 at 1:41 pm #

That is true Yohannon. And then the left howls because the percentage of incarcerated blacks is higher than their overall state population numbers. But they persist in shooting people, selling lots of drugs etc; they’re not being ,locked up for shoplifting a package of Twinkies!

And yes Blackbird, we’ve got a number of “diversity” positions and positions created to unearth racism in the police etc. Lots of high-paid make-work positions created for black people solely to tell us white people what a horrible racist state we have. Yet they keep coming here which I don’t understand, as if it’s so terrible and racist, why move here?

I’m sure we will end up paying reparations too, from people who never owned slaves in a state which never had slaves to people who never were slaves. That’s up next!

          • Blackbird April 12, 2021 at 3:05 pm #

“Why move here?” Because you don’t want them, don’t need them – so they’re gonna sit right down on your lap.

How about Tucson Arizona, or Albuquerque New Mexico. Both would be even more attractive attractive if you love Mexican food.

The city I like is Flagstaff Arizona – a bit snowy in mid-winter but not over-the-top. Four seasons, college town, great scenery, excellent hiking and skiing.

I admit no such thing – I actually like the buzz of multicultural and diverse cities, and find plain-vanilla monocultures really dull and restrictive … I think I’ve made this point a hundred times.

It is mountain gal who wanted somewhere pleasant that wasn’t too cold – I provided some geographical options – nothing to do with demographics. She could look at Kentucky and the Carolinas too, but I like the Southwest.

      • MaryV April 12, 2021 at 12:08 pm #

All we can do is try to build our own communities outside of the crazy establishment-controlled nuthouse cities.

And hope then we aren’t all killed or burned to death like the Branch Davidians were. Their only sin was to try to have their own community. That is clear now, and the over-kill response was on purpose, to show everyone in the country that if you attempt to live life on your own terms – even peacefully – that’s the end of you.

The Mormons got away with it pretty much – although they had to be pretty discreet with all the child-bride stuff.

As a refugee to Somewhere Else, you will be imposing on the residents of Somewhere Else, bringing your silly notions and practices. The future that is on its way here will not be one where you want to be a stranger surrounded by strangers.

“The game of musical chairs is over. (Except for those who own a lot of chairs…)”

Yep. I’ve realized in the last 8 months that I failed to get filthy rich in time for something like this…I do okay and all, but I certainly don’t have Amigo Money…plenty of other people will have a lot of options if their ship came in. The rest of us will have to figure it out as we go along.

        • Mountain gal April 12, 2021 at 12:47 pm #

Honestly Blackbird, I feel like a stranger surrounded by strangers these days. Between wokesterism, leftism and the total freakout over Covid here(including double masked people outdoors, masked people driving in their cars alone, most things shut down etc); I don’t feel like I belong here anymore despite having lived in this state for 25 years.

          • Yohannon April 12, 2021 at 12:52 pm #

I’m surrounded by angry white people like me, but it’s cold as hell.

The USA I used to think I knew is gone. What’s left is up on blocks with its roof smashed in. Dreams of patching up the rust spots, some new paint, maybe a pair of fuzzy dice – all gone now.

          • MaryV April 12, 2021 at 1:16 pm #

Yes. I feel the same, except I have a great online group of friends. I just wished we all lived in the same area. We may have to figure out how to do that soon, but I also agree with Blackbird that the chance to get this going was awhile back. Now it is probably too late.

            Mary,

Regarding the intersection of your online community and physical proximity, I have one word for you: Saratoga Springs, New York. Kinda like in The Stand where all the nice people went to someplace in CO while all the nasties went to Vegas. Maybe our collective presence can squeeze more than two stories a week from the bard? We can return the favor by chasing down his free-range chickens. Win-win? Sounds like it to me!

Very interesting call … I can think of many wonderful places to live in that offer a great deal – at least as much as the US. Getting a visa for permanent residency can be very hard though.

I wonder where you have been?

And it’s cold there. Much less here in Idaho. Why not Idaho? For the meeting place? Or Wyoming? Yeah no to Colorado. I think there are evil entities at work there for sure.

Or Warren Dunes, Indiana? At least it’s on Lake Michigan!

            Mountain Gal

Actually there is nothing wrong that being 30 years old instead of 70 wouldn’t fix! Especially if along with the 30 year old body came a complete absence of knowledge about all the things we write about on this sink hole of a site. I never had a moment’s concern about the state of the world while skiing until the Malignant Overlords started making me wear these damn masks and reducing the oxygen intake to my brain!

          • Wizard of the Saddle April 15, 2021 at 10:41 pm #

I know exactly how you feel Mountain Gal. I am a 7th generation Texan whose ancestors were American colonists when Texas was a Mexican state and who fought to free the state from Santa Ana so, believe me when I tell you this, it took a LOT to get this born and bred Texan to move out of the Lone Star State – which is almost unheard of.

I did it because nearly half the state is now Hispanic and if you add in blacks and other minorities, white Texans are now just another minority – still the largest minority, but shrinking by the day.

I saw the handwriting on the wall and moved to Alabama – a state that virtually NO ONE moves to because they are all under the misimpression that George Wallace and Bull Conner are still in office here. The locals LOVE this, because it keeps the Leftist interlopers from moving here.

So far, it’s been a great decision. Life here is like it was in Houston when I was a kid in the 1960’s.

    Hey @Tekapo,

You never discuss anything we discuss. You find our conclusions to fact after fact after fact unacceptable to your Boomer retirement plan so you stamp your little feet and call us names, build then destroy strawmen, question or sanity, call us more names ad naseum.

Enough with the little girl emotions, Josephine.

You want to talk facts? Great.

But no. You Just want to repeatedly chime in, “It can’t be True! You’re crazy! It can’t be True! You’re crazy!”

    • Yohannon April 12, 2021 at 12:56 pm #

Too bad you missed Elrond, another Canadian poster. He was very concerned with some Black Africans who tried to sneak into Canada from the US but forget their gloves. They lost their hands to frostbite. I encouraged Elrond to go live with them to serve them, but I suspect he’d have to wait in line. I have no doubt but that they are worshiped as gods – much as the old Maya worshiped mongoloid children as messengers from the gods.

He had great devotion to our Constitution, but never got beyond “All men are created equal”. That’s all he wanted or needed to know.

      • O.G. Hawkins April 12, 2021 at 1:42 pm #

I don’t know about this Elrond guy or this finger-losing story. Fingers, toes, ears then nose are usually the first to go in a frost-bite situation.

I would think that they had their 15 minutes of fame and are living a sad, pathetic life watching CNN all day and sucking on a straw for nutrition.

        • Yohannon April 12, 2021 at 2:18 pm #

Strange. I would have thought they’d love this kind of sob story. But who can say? We often have to go the Daily Mail to get important American stories.

          • O.G. Hawkins April 12, 2021 at 3:35 pm #

They’ll get their Warhol 15 minutes then the sheep are pointed elsewhere.

Reminds me of Dubya visiting a LA farmer who had lost everything to Katrina. Press, pix, hand-shake (remember handshakes?) … then they’re all packing the gear up into their cars and vans and driving away in air-conditioned comfort leaving the sad farmer there like a prop.

      • Blackbird April 12, 2021 at 4:51 pm #

Ya know, I always got the feeling that if Elrond were actually down in the shit, he’d be a good neighbor. Because he chirped from a safe branch high above the melée, during a time when the conflict was largely cerebral, he sounded, well, privileged.

    • MaryV April 12, 2021 at 1:12 pm #

Let me guess, Tekapo, you’re a retired teacher, living on a pension far in excess of anything you deserve. Indoctrinating students in state worship and socialism instead of critical, logical, and creative thinking – Is that your claim to fame?

        • hmuller April 13, 2021 at 3:18 pm #

OR Tekapo you’re some kind of retired government bureaucrat. You’ve spent a lifetime sucking on mamma deep state’s big tits so you defend her vehemently. She who nurtures you can do no wrong.

          • hmuller April 13, 2021 at 10:46 pm #

            Tekapo, two points.

In the latter stages of hyperinflation, prices can double in a week or two. Your every 6 month COL adjustment would not keep up. (That was a big problem in Yeltsin’s Russia, by the way)

Federal and State governments may collapse and cease functioning for several reason, one being the money is no good and no longer accepted. When you can’t pay the military and police, power evaporates. Didn’t you read JHK’s 4 book series?

There is a defensive measure, and I’m sure you’re bright enough to know what it is.

Jim, excellent post as usual. Your first paragraph is very funny while being so tragic. Can the public be so indifferent to the destruction of its way of life, or that dumb to believe everything will be fine? Or is it nefarious, purposeful plotting that’s causing all these issues? My problem is that I’m naturally against conspiracy theories, but it’s hard to accept any other reasons.

    • O.G. Hawkins April 12, 2021 at 11:39 am #

My problem is that I’m naturally against conspiracy theories, but it’s hard to accept any other reasons.

      It’s on.

      • hmuller April 12, 2021 at 7:15 pm #

Not all conspiracy theories are equal. I view them as being on a spectrum from impossible to proven.

The flat earth theory – I place that very close to the impossible end of the meter. Russiagate and all the lies Democrats told about Trump – pretty darn close to a proven conspiracy (if you ask me).

I won’t go thru the entire list of conspiracy theories. But I’ll say anyone who dismisses out of hand ideas he has never researched lacks credibility. (Tekapo) And should probably slither back to the nest, shed his old skin, and assume a new identity, a new nom de plume as the French say.

        • O.G. Hawkins April 12, 2021 at 9:07 pm #

People in power conspire. Always have. Always will.

          JFK, RFK, MLK, 9/11, Hank Paulson’s 2008, COVID & VaxxPass, …

Anyone who tells you that the US gov’t does not engage in conspiracies is either corrupt or dumber than a sack of shit.

          • hmuller April 12, 2021 at 9:43 pm #

Yes O.G., a few dozen regime changes around the world come to mind. Altruistically done purely for the good of those poor, oppressed people.

I remember a line sung by Dolly Parton in an old movie you may recall:

“But there’s nothing dirty going on”

            Perhaps a matter of perspective?!

            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ad2-FiCzJxc

    • Yohannon April 12, 2021 at 1:06 pm #

Conspiracy is the way the world works. You’re still struggling with that? Immigrants work together to make it here – that’s a conspiracy. They breathe (spire) together (con). Not all conspiracies are bad or even secret. Before you try to understand extreme or unusual case, first you must understand a phenomena in its most basic or elementary sense.

If you had only gone to Catholic high school, you would have gotten the classics and Aquinas.

A more advanced example: a discovery is made. The person gets a patent and starts a company. A small group of people work together in secrecy so other can’t copy them before their product hits the market. Bad? Not necessarily (it would depend on the product). But yes, secret for the time being.

I admit that the usual meaning does involve secrecy. But I stretched it to make a point. And the etymology does not invoke secrecy in any case.

Another: Take three people a,b,c. Two, say a and c, are planning a surprise birthday party for b. This is a conspiracy because it involves secrecy

A and b are always talking together about c. They are in conspiracy, either for or against b. Or perhaps (rarely) just neutral.

      • MaryV April 12, 2021 at 1:10 pm #

        Aha!

I had 12 years of Catholic school. So perhaps that’s (in part) how I am able to recognize conspiracies so easily.

Reading David McGowan helped a lot, too 😉

      • O.G. Hawkins April 12, 2021 at 1:51 pm #

It appears that you have misunderstood me. I am not struggling with the fact that the capstone of the pyramid runs our planet and I do understand what conspiracy meant before it became synonymous with tinfoil.

I have been watching God v Satan my whole life and, especially since a 1981 acid trip. I have witnessed much. I understand that we have entered the times prophesized in Daniel & Revelation.

Frick v Frack. MSM are pressitutes and do as they are told.

      They tribalize us. White/Black, Red/Blue, North/South, Yankees/Mets, Coke/Pepsi.

Who thinks that Jan. 6 was an orchestrated op? If so, one must also see that POTUS played his role in that farce.

They give Hunter a ghost-writer and a Kimmell appearance to further their agenda. One of their agendum is to piss you off on how different MSM treats Hunter/Donald Jr.

All establishment ‘comics’ have sold out and are now the opposite of funny.

They literally make me cringe, so I never watch them. I also stopped watching TV in general entirely around 2012.

Streaming only & stuff I like. No propaganda.

It’s also amazing when you stop watching the boob tube, and then catch a glimpse of it years later, how insane it appears.

          • MrMangoOnMyShoulder April 12, 2021 at 1:44 pm #

Bill Burr, Dave Chappelle, Norm Macdonald and Louis CK are still keeping it real. But, those are real comics…not establishment comics. So I see your point.

You’re Right, Mr Mango. Those guys are big enough names that they can generate income Just by being themselves. Neil Young ran his rock career like that.

Kids today. They got no choice. “Orange man bad!” “Rainbow parade!” They gotta play this new, shitty game or die broke and alone. Lenny Bruce broke through to push the limits. Richard Pryor. Robin Williams. Eddie Murphy.

    • SW April 12, 2021 at 12:02 pm #

There is no comparison. If there were the salacious pictures of one the Trump children like these:

      https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9445105/What-Hunter-Biden-left-tell-memoir-revealed.html?ito=push-notification&ci=122693&si=22590609&ai=9445105

we would never, ever hear the end of it. The blatant hypocrisy and double standard is stunning. But as long as the media willfully distorts but actively promotes some stories but suppresses any news that doesn’t serve them, then America, I’m afraid, is pretty much over.

Here’s an example — 5 people (including 2 children) were murdered in South Carolina by a former NFL football player. It didn’t even make the front page of CNN.

      • MaryV April 12, 2021 at 12:17 pm #

Agree completely. The hypocrisy is cartoonish in its ridiculousness at this point.

        • O.G. Hawkins April 12, 2021 at 12:35 pm #

Cartoonish to the point that Journalism is obviously dead!

Did anyone see that Kimmell interview? I know that he’s entertainment and not news but, regardless, at least Soviet Russia made no bones about it while spewing the party line.

          • SW April 12, 2021 at 12:48 pm #

“Liberal CNN media correspondent Brian Stelter, while dinging right-wing media for “being obsessed with him,” called Biden’s new book “breathtaking” and “extraordinary.” He also gushed over it at length in his “Reliable Sources” newsletter on April 5.”

Hunter admitted in the interview that the laptop “could be his.” But the poor dear’s brain was ravaged by drugs, grief and all but lethal doses of Viagra — so how could he say for certain?!

I think not only what is reported but how is just as important. The manipulation of the media by powerful owners like Bezos and others who are quietly going about their business, really does puzzle me. What do they hope to achieve by pouring gasoline on racial issues rather than an even handed reporting of the issues? Glorifying illegal immigration? Pretending the health care system isn’t on the ropes b/c of mismanagement and greed? I honestly can’t figure it out.

          • MaryV April 12, 2021 at 1:04 pm #

Yes, that was painful. Well, I saw Paul Romano’s breakdown of it that Night Owl posted.

Still painful! Albeit funny when Paul did his thing.

          • O.G. Hawkins April 12, 2021 at 1:20 pm #

TPTB are engineering this complete breakdown. They want us fighting in the streets. They have the ability to control everyone and they are now implementing it.

It’s like they are NFL Coaches running their game plan and we are Cheez Doodle-popping couch potatoes. We can guess at their next call and will, sometimes, be correct but we don’t know about the Right Guard’s muscle tear in his left leg and haven’t properly assessed the D’s Free Safety personnel swith.

“We’ll be fighting in the streets

Ya know, people who respond to comments with song lyrics used to annoy me… “Meet the new pot. Same as the old kettle.”

          • O.G. Hawkins April 12, 2021 at 4:31 pm #

Classic Rock is the poetry of our generation. I believe it’s a tool that can be used cleverly or foolishly.

If well-known lyrics sum up what’s being discussed, it can take the reader to a Happy place because they too find meaning in those lyrics and that song.

Ohio is the epitome of that as Neil wrote that hours after he heard of Kent State and it was climbing the charts of radios halfway around the World within days.

Hit song about the revolution more timely than Newsweek.

  14. JohnAZ April 12, 2021 at 11:41 am #

Do people remember Kent State? When riots happened, they sent in the National Guard. Fatalities happened, but soon afterward, the riots stopped.

Do the people on the Right just feel the country just is not worth fighting for any more.? What happens when Joe wants soldiers and no one volunteers? We need a new country created, a long way from the idiocracy that is the Deep State now.

I do understand your point. We have hardly missed a beat during the covid thing except for the two weeks we had covid. It’s a frenzied time similar to what I imagine it was like before WWII. We have a core group of 6 or 8 neighbors and we get together even more often than before lockdowns. Of course more alcohol is involved but nevermind.

Point being that we are all ready for action despite our insousisance. I think many are just biding their time. There will be a trigger…covid passports, gun control, currency crisis…who knows. Don’t count us out just because we’re not running our mouth.

          Farmgal-

Perhaps I expressed my sentiments too harshly.

Sitting aside in peace is certainly a very rational choice for the folks I described.

And, yes, my comments are somewhat driven by envy because I thought the US would end up like this for quite a while.

Despite those thoughts I’ve done little to prepare.

My predicted flashpoints are open gun grabbing here in the US, combined with at least one disastrous foreign conflict that leads to a currency crisis in the US.

          • farmgal April 12, 2021 at 3:58 pm #

Who knows why we make the choices we do. I have never wanted for anything in my life although I’m certainly not rich, but I have felt uneasy about my country since Jimmy Carter days. I read Howard Ruff’s book How to Prosper During the Coming Bad Years and it made quite an impression. I learned to raise crops, can and freeze so during the Obama years it was a natural segue to prepping. Unfortunately prepping is like carrying a gun. Sometimes it gives you a false sense of security.

That being said, nobody gets out of this alive, and I’m pretty sure Murphy’s Law will outlive us all

      Great point.

      What did Imperial Rome do?

They relied largely on a Germanic & non-Roman soldiery, along with a degraded armor & weaponry kit– to defend the Empire.

I’d argue the US will do the exact same thing. Remember, you don’t need to be a US citizen to join the armed forces of the US. That will come as a shock to some people.

General Austin already stated that any large scale conflict involving China, Russia or Iran would require a renewed draft.

And, the “proposed” “student loan relief”? We’ll forgive the first $5,000 (or was it $10,000). The problem is not the millions with a few hundred in debt, it’s the millions with several hundred thousand in debt. The so-called relief will only help those who need it the least. Same as it ever was.

          • Blackbird April 12, 2021 at 5:04 pm #

No proposed changes to the higher education racket. Just more promises to make the accumulation of unforgivable debt available to more.

Based on my experience, about 90% of college students shouldn’t be in college at all. (Most need to stay at home and finish potty training.) Half of those get dragged across the finish line by the few that belong there.

I am not advocating a draft, but the backdoor draft you mentioned is one of the main reasons for the decline in quality of our military, as the all volunteer force draws from the bottom of the barrel. People with no other options. I am sure that there are many real patriotic troops with their head and heart in the right place but with the recent madness concerning trans troops and the lefties infiltrating the top brass, our country will suffer.

Somebody told me that this is what fascism is. I don’t know, they are all forms of communism to me:

Top CEOs Plot An Attack On The US Constitution’s Delegation Of Election Laws To The States
100 top CEOs and business leaders have agreed to band together and fight ‘restrictive’ voting laws designed to strengthen the integrity of elections, such as voter ID, after a weekend Zoom summit during which the CEOs threatened to withhold campaign contributions and punish states by pulling investments in factories, stadiums and other projects and endorsements.
    https://www.davidstockmanscontracorner.com/top-ceos-plot-an-attack-on-the-us-constitutions-delegation-of-election-laws-to-the-states/

A bunch of top CEO types got together early on to decide that we should be fighting a virus by walking around with diapers on our face too, and a bunch of top CEO types obligingly tried to deep-six any science to the contrary, and they are still doing it, as Youtube removed a video with Florida’s governor talking real science (hint: it isn’t face nappies) with real MDs and scientists who did not advance the desired narrative.

Fascism is insane dedication to the state, but ownership of the economy still resides with the people, esp. corporations.

Yohannon s National Socialism Is fascism. The government controls what the economy does for the good of the people of that country.

Nationalism and socialism. The reason Trump was never a fascist is because he did not believe in socialism.

Communism is government not only controls the economy, they own it. The Communist party of the USSR was 3-5% of the population but they controlled everything. Stalin killed millions to put communal farms into Ukraine, state owned. Individual gain or autonomy does not exist.

This is Bernie’s ideal. I wonder how he would feel if he was one of the serfs.

BTW, was Communism a step back towards feudalism where the hierarchy sets the agenda and runs everything?

      • Yohannon April 12, 2021 at 1:19 pm #

Not bad, but insane? Great things take dedication. If the most able people are insanely dedicated to personal wealth and career – well this is what happens. As the Comedian in the movie “Watchmen” said, “What happened to the American Dream? This is it. You got it”.

Don’t blame anyone else that you dreamed poorly. Only yourselves. Your heroes the Bankers and Corporate Executives are in charge. The Plutocrats. Ayn Rand’s Aryan Supermen.

What people dream of is an interesting area of inquiry or speculation. Where might one find ones sense of self? Of “being someone?” It is perhaps the source of our greatest suffering that we have none. Well…except for the suffering caused by seeking self in mere power over other people (which is what money is: a claim against the future production of others).

Wealth, in itself, is not so bad. It is only the wish for abundance, which is only freedom from want and the means to create all manner of beauty and comfort–good food, beautiful objects, and the refinement of all of life’s necessities under the guidance of the spirit. Career ought to be such work–rather than the business of acquiring power over others through money.

But there are those who can find no sense of self without the application of force against others (presumably to force them to acknowledge that they “are somebody” and hence exist)–and who know no other measure of selfhood. And, as a corollary, that those who lack the means to apply force against others are “nobodies.”

        Totalitarianism

        Rule by one man/gang.

        Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini,

We are very close. The South felt the way we do right now, political domination by the North. Issue of course was slavery, but really it was the manufacturing domination wealth wise over the agrarian South.

You know what the South did. Modern America looked down on the South for going to civil war.

However, maybe some of us understand a little better now.

        • MaryV April 12, 2021 at 1:01 pm #

          We could use “plutocracy” too.

          • Blackbird April 12, 2021 at 1:22 pm #

Plutocracy is what we have in the US (and the West in general). Government of, by, and for the wealthy.

Oligarchy, rule by a small, select group (probably also rich, but not necessarily). We have that too.

Totalitarianism, people have no power, the state has all power. (And of course the people at the top are probably rich, even if they didn’t start out that way.) Definitely headed there.

Fascism, a nationalistic form of totalitarianism. Not going there as nationalism limits the blessings of diversity.

But we toss all these terms, and others, into the same bag and apply them indiscriminately.

          • Yohannon April 12, 2021 at 1:29 pm #

By far the most accurate. And by definition, a few (Oligarchical) and usually (always?) dismissive of rights (Totalitarian).

        • Wizard of the Saddle April 15, 2021 at 11:15 pm #

          John,

Well, for those of us with Confederate ancestors like myself and a Southern informed understanding of what the big fight in the 1860’s was really about, (money and power…..surprise, surprise!), this is no new revelation. The South went to war in 1861 because it was clear that the North was ascendent and would soon have total and tyrannical power over the federal government. So, the Southern States resigned from the club and formed a new club for themselves. The Yanks were not happy about that. Mississippi was the wealthiest state in the Union in 1861 and the South funded fully 2/3’s of the total cost of the federal government in 1860. The North was not keen in letting all that wealth just walk out the door, and so the war came.

The darkies were just a political football, used by the two sides to duke it out with each other. A big issue, but not the real underlying issue.

Why do you think the first thing the Woketards came after was the Confederate flag back in the 1980’s. Southern whites got kicked around for years and whites in other parts of America could care less. Now they are tearing down statues of Lincoln and abolitionists and even the Founding Fathers. Suddenly, all of us Hillbilly Rednecks in the Land of Cotton have a LOT of butthurt company.

It’s bloody amazing to this old Rebel.

        Slippery slopes.

The Supreme Court declared them to be people when it comes to campaign contributions with all the rights that entails, including the First Amendment. Would you prefer that these corporations be forced to give campaign contributions? Genuinely curious.

      • Yohannon April 12, 2021 at 1:31 pm #

Well that decision was a bad one. The worst, maybe. They shouldn’t be able to give a dime. No one should. It should all be financed by the State based on polling.

That’s not my understanding of what is happening. What I see is the corporations saying, “we don’t like what is being done here and we’re not going to give money to politicians who are supporting the new voting bill.” Whatever you may think about the bill itself, corporations giving campaign donations as they see fit is perfectly constitutional. That said, I would love to see campaign finance reform in this country and completely agree that there is way too much corporate money in politics.

    • Rulo Deschamps April 12, 2021 at 2:40 pm #

Beryl, “Somebody told me that this is what fascism is. I don’t know, they are all forms of communism to me”.

Agreed. Different flavors of totalitarianism. The opposite of the US Constitution, which values freedom above all. The fact that economic freedom is included has over time been grotesquely distorted, of course, to where we’re today: corporate quasi rule, getting worse every year.

Our resident national-socialist’s model is not Nazi Germany. At least in his current incarnation. In previous personas it was, but that got him banned I don’t know how many times.

Yohannon’s model society is China. He can correct me if I’m wrong, but he’s admitted so much a few threads ago. A police state, a human rights dystopia of arbitrary imprisonment, constant surveillance, social credit scores. Also a corporatist state where the big players can indeed be very rich and powerful as long as they kowtow to and share the loot with the CCP. And let’s not forget the ethnic element – Han Chinese as the only legitimate flavor of human being accepted.

So: you ask the average American, and overwhelmingly they hate both fascism and communism, and love freedom: of speech, of religion, and yes, economic freedom as well. That is changing now, and may not be true in the new generations, but it was true for most of our history.

Yet you get ideologues that never got any traction in the historic US now claiming the right who decide who is and isn’t a “real” American: communist wokesters will say whites who think it’s ok to be white; nazis, anyone not white.

Both dogmas ignore the question of freedom, which was fundamental, literally, in the creation of the US. Both dogmas have been flatly refused, ignored, and defeated on the world stage by the historic US. Now they are gaining traction on the back of the ethnic element. “That was the secret ingredient that was missing and our time has come at last”, they think.

Has it? Not if enough of us refuse to hear their siren songs and insist on liberty as the key element of the American Nation. That’s Civic Nationalism for you. We can debate everything else ad eternum, but not freedom. It’s being taken away from us as we speak. If the sorcerers’ apprentices succeed in causing a new civil war by stoking ethnic and racial hatred, that’s it. It’s gone. The corporations win and the future is a boot stamping on a human face forever, as Orwell, that visionary, warned us. Fascist? Communist? Pfft, who cares. They want the same things.

      • Blackbird April 12, 2021 at 3:34 pm #

Yes, Americans overwhelmingly hate communism and fascism – the words. No idea what they mean, but great for throwing at the hated other. Americans hate who they’re told to hate.

        • O.G. Hawkins April 12, 2021 at 4:12 pm #

Orwell’s Two-Minute Hate seemed so far-fetched when I first read Nineteen Eighty-Four in 1984. Flashing the propaganda enemy, Emanuel Goldstein, onto the screen had the educated, party class chomping at the bit like a massive Pavlov’s dog experiment.

Then I saw it happen. In Real life. My parents lost their noodles over their hatred of President Trump – and they don’t even live there. Pure, unthinking brain-washed hatred. It was disturbing.

          • Blackbird April 12, 2021 at 4:24 pm #

Ah no: Each nation has (or should have) its own National Socialism, one consonant with its own traditions. Since we’re not Chinese, this would fit us very poorly. How does it fit them? Well better than under Mao with his Communist ideas. Or then the Gang of Four (I think) and the Cultural Revolution against all their old culture. But it still isn’t great for a lot of them. But many like the prosperity and may be satisfied, not sure.

    • KappaJoe April 12, 2021 at 4:48 pm #

Communism is the government telling business what to do. As governments are all inept, excepting death and destruction in extremis, this is why Communism always fails, as they are generally incompetent regarding constructive activity and will always fall back on force, if not the continual threat of it.

Fascism is business telling government what to do, or they mostly ignore the government, or at best pretend to “partner” with it. This arrangement can work for some time because business is competent or else they would have already failed; however, now business runs the government and elected leaders are an illusion, unaccountable to the people due to the dictates of business. However, increasing monolithism, monopolism, and overreach of business will eventually lead to eventual failure as well.

Both systems are patently Totalitarian and polar opposite of a system of innate individual human rights sustained by voluntary adherence to an agreed upon body of common law.

I have examined many theories of the pinnacle ruling elite and have narrowed it done to only two possibilities: either they’ve gone completely soft in the head due to inbreeding, or they actually ARE some kind lizard creatures!

      • Yohannon April 12, 2021 at 6:29 pm #

The two spheres cannot be separated in the modern industrial state. Under Fascism, the Government dominates, directing and guiding and enforcing. Under Plutocracy (our system), the Corporations control the State.

Extreme individualism led to American Plutocracy and will lead to the Vaccine Passport. Freedom for the very few.

        • KappaJoe April 12, 2021 at 7:49 pm #

          Plutocracy is essentially Fascism lite.

Who is denying media free speech, ratting out people who peacefully demonstrate, supporting violent demonstration, misreporting and inverting reality, creating and enforcing gun-free grocery stores, ordering MLB to move All-Star games, enforcing denying entrance to venues and travel without masking and soon those without injection and passport, all the while government quietly assents ? – THAT’s Fascism. It’s why it hardly matters who is president, DJT, excepted, or who sits in Congress. They obey their orders and their orders aren’t at the behest of the people’s will, that’s for certain.

Individual human rights are the basis of a fair,
free, and functioning society. EXTREME individualism, aside from using extremes as the basis of any cogent argument, exists nowhere on earth. Connected elites outside government fashioning a system for their benefit, trampling others’ rights, does and always has existed – THAT’s Fascism.

          • Yohannon April 12, 2021 at 8:09 pm #

Nope. They’re opposite forms of government. Both can be bad of course. But Fascism can be good. I don’t think Plutocracy can be.

Who did all those bad things? Both Government and the Private Sphere. In the Anglosphere, Corporations are going to push the Covidian Tyranny, backed by the Government. Merkel of Germany doesn’t like this – Tyranny is the Government’s job! Her East German Communist roots are showing.

In any case, it’s one Beast system. And the Beast has two hands. Most people only look at one and then wonder why they find themselves on the ground with little birds flying around their head.

    Look at Joe’s legacy.

Trying to destroy the Democracy to do in the White majority.

So much for the balance of power.

Supreme Court. Dems trying now to start the process to make the court liberal. One strike.

Congress. Dems trying to put law into place legalizing the vote cheating that locked the government into the Democratic Party. Legalizing the illegals that have crossed the borders comes quickly behind. The majority of Americans are rapidly becoming Communistic in nature. Two strikes.

Executive Biden is pushing hard for an executive centered government with his executive orders. Started with Obama, Trump used it and Biden has made them look like Pikers. To Biden, who cares what the Congress, the Supreme Court thinks. Strike three.

Guns, the ultimate tool of resistance. We know what the Biden Gang wants to do here. Strike four, who cares, we are already out.

You know what might finally fire up the Right? When the government starts confiscating the White’s property and giving it to Blacks as reparations. The idea is already circulating.

Some would say no way it can’t happen here and yet it has happened elsewhere.
      You ask where?
      Why South Africa!
The play book of sorts was already done there and yes they are stealing land held by white farmers for hundreds of years.
You say it was taken from natives well no as they Zulu tribe killed everyone that was not zulu so the land was vacant.
The blacks in SA are actually transplants from the North having fled other failed African countries.

The other place that comes to mind is Argentina.
A great fire sale happened and the government sold off rights to things like water to private companies.
We are being South Africa’ed and Argentina’ed at the same time.
There was a saying about being rich like an Argentinean.

Haha, the print media … hundreds, maybe thousands of ‘Migrant Children’ being shipped into Ct, our state’s largest paper covering the event in glowing terms, How blessed we are, how fortunate it is to be of service to humanity … We’ve thrown out the welcome mat and now we much pitch in, every one of us; Its all about the children! The schools are still closed here in some towns, no matter.

A year ago the state was shut down out of fear hospitals would be overwhelmed with the sick and dying. To a certain extent it is still shut down. Yet refugees are being brought here from the fetid jungles of Central America just 1 year later. In 2015 when this happened there were outbreaks of measles, meningitis, polio and chicken pox all across the country. American kids actually got sick and died.

Today I read a couple of reports that a significant percentage of new Covid deaths are from people who have been inoculated with the Covid “vaccines”. Not deaths from the proximate injection, but rather those who, after being injected and waiting the ensuing 2 week interval, came down with the Covid virus and expired. What was reported is that many of the people who died were in the group who have all along been considered at high risk, i.e. those over 65 and those with serious comorbidities. But supposedly there was also a spike in death among those that had very little risk of death from Covid, namely young adults. The implication in the articles is that the Covid shots themselves may actually stimulate the virus for some population segments. Frankly, I am not clear at all at what the Covid vaccines guarantee in terms of risk mitigation. My guess is that the actual verbiage (from the manufacturers) offers no definitive claims at all. In other words, lots of use of the word “may”, but no “will”. I am very interested to read other CFNers comments on this topic.

    • BackRowHeckler April 12, 2021 at 12:46 pm #

People here — celebrities and local pols — who made a big public spectacle out of getting vaccinated for the purpose of influencing us little people to get vaccinated, are coming down with Covid. No fatalities that I know of, tho.

      No explanations given.

BTW, that interview with Rainer Fuellmilch is incredible.

Particularly the part on PCR. I knew a lot about it, but some of the details he provided on the means uses to get a 97% false positive rate left me speechless.

This is the biggest fraud in human history.

          • Night Owl April 13, 2021 at 8:11 am #

I need to check that out.

          • GreenAlba April 13, 2021 at 10:48 am #

OK, so we’ve been fed the false-positive narrative on here for some time now, while only two people (to my knowledge) – that would be (a) neurodoc and (b) myself, quoting neurodoc – have acknowledged the effect of false negatives on government figures.

This morning I thought I’d take a look at some actual figures and see how this thing works out. Please note that I’m putting this information out there politely and courteously and will leave readers to judge the tone of whatever I might get back. It’s just an example, which is all you can provide if looking at one set of figures and using certain assumptions. (I won’t even bother with the effect of false negatives on transmission.)

The figures I’ve looked at are the running cumulative totals of Scottish Covid tests, along with positive and negative results. And I’m going to be damned generous to the vocal false-positive folks and the opposite to those who have been honest enough to mention the false negatives. That is, I’m going to assume 97% of positives are false, even though it’s almost impossible that it reflects the reality of Scottish tests since the start of the pandemic. And I’m going to go to the lower end of neurodoc’s spectrum of observed false negatives (higher end was 48%) and stick with 40%.

So, the government’s cumulative figures as at 12 April this year are 1,639,838 negative tests and 222,161 positives.

Taking 97% of the positives away leaves us with 6,665.Taking 40% of the negatives away leaves us with 983,903.

Finally, moving the 97% of false positives (215,496) to the negative side gives us 1,199,399 negatives. And moving the 40% of false negatives (655,935) to the positive side gives us 662,600.

Which is to say that the government figures show 222,161 positives, while the revised figure, using an assumption of 97% false positives and the lower observed figure of 40% false negatives, gives us 662,600.

Which is kinda sorta almost 3 times the official government figure for positives.

Polite comments welcome … Happy to be corrected on my arithmetic.

As I’ve said, the number of positive ‘cases’ doesn’t interest me anyway, but if that’s what people wish to argue about, then I guess we should get our figures right?

          • hmuller April 13, 2021 at 3:08 pm #

            GA,
That many false test results (positive and negative) makes me think the test is useless and should be tossed out.

But I’m not a doctor or a statistic expert.

          • GreenAlba April 14, 2021 at 7:05 am #

I agree, hm. I wasn’t endorsing ‘the test’, just refusing to endorse the dishonesty. Given that the original official percentages were 12% positive and 88% negative, false negatives were pretty much always going to swing the figures more than false positives. And I bent over backwards to give succour to the opposition in my calculations! Do you think they’d do that for me? Hold my cuppa while I die laughing.

But I don’t know that much about what different types there are. It seems some are much more accurate than others.

Also, you absolutely have to be able to test medical staff (and care home workers) with the best tests that exist, whatever they are. If, say, your wife was seriously ill and awaiting a critical cancer operation, you probably wouldn’t want her surgeons to all have Covid while operating on her for 6 hours. I mentioned a while ago that six patients in the cancer unit where I had my own minor op (pre-Covid) died all in the same week when Covid got into their unit.

We have lateral flow tests in the house that my husband is meant to use twice a week when working.

They’re supposed to be more accurate (but better mostly with symptomatic people) – some info. here:

            https://www.bmj.com/content/372/bmj.n823#:~:text=In%20uninfected%20people%20the%20tests,have%20yet%20to%20be%20published.

But the biggest problem is not false positives – it’s infections not being picked up. Which is presumably why the six cancer patients died in my hospital, and presumably one of the reasons why transmission has been harder to control in the community (that and the fact that compliance with track and trace has been either abysmally low or gratifyingly low, depending on where you’re coming from!)

My daughter (the one who works in a nursery/kindergarten) also has a supply of lateral flow tests, given to her by her work. She has no objection in principle, but is very squeamish generally and doesn’t fancy sticking the swab up her nose. The school said testing was voluntary, while kind of assuming all teachers and assistants would test twice a week, as requested.

First time there was a staff meeting, the head honch-ess said cheerily that she hoped everyone was testing. My daughter said if it was voluntary they had no reason to ask her if she’d done it. So she wouldn’t ‘declare’, although it wouldn’t be hard to guess.

Anyway, no recriminations or any kind of follow-up, which should please you. She goes into work every day untested.

          • hmuller April 14, 2021 at 7:40 am #

            GA,

One more thing is unclear to me. How do they know how many test results (positive or negative) were false? Since many people carry the Covid virus and are asymptomatic, they can’t just wait and see who gets sick.

In other words what tool evaluates the test results? How do we know it’s accurate?

          • GreenAlba April 14, 2021 at 8:00 am #

    • Beryl of Oyl April 12, 2021 at 1:05 pm #

My personal opinion is that the reason they went ahead with a “warp speed” product (I won’t call it a vaccine, because it is not a vaccine as we know them) is because if they waited for one that was effective, and remember there has been no coronavirus vaccine approved to date, the virus would have faded away and the opportunity to implement the global agenda of health passports for humans would have passed.

Enough people are voluntarily receiving this not-quite-a-vaccine to be able to isolate and marginalize those who refuse as nutty conspiracy theorists.

Fauci’s budget, for a new virus we knew nearly nothing about, was 70% for vaccine development. Doesn’t that strike anyone as strange? So little concern for understanding what we were dealing with and how to treat it.

Predetermined that there would be a vaccine. Does that sound like medical science, or a political agenda?

BTW it seems that much of the world is ahead of the US in understanding the massive fraud. How embarrassing.

      • Blackbird April 12, 2021 at 1:28 pm #

Probably no need to fund studying the virus as that has been done over the past several years, both at Ft. Detrick and the Wuhan lab.

        • Beryl of Oyl April 12, 2021 at 1:46 pm #

What what about the research into how to treat it in humans?
You’d think the NIAID budget would have been at least 70% for that.

          • Blackbird April 12, 2021 at 3:37 pm #

“Is the Democratic Party determined to drive the nation insane? Kind of looks like that”

If people paid less attention to the infotainment, the propaganda organs, the manufacturers of consent, would Americans be driven crazy?

If people consciously took a break from the backlit screens, the pocket sized, the lap sized, the credenza supported, the wall-mounted, the newspapers, the magazines (do people actually read magazines these days?) and instead devoted their time and energies with the analog they would soon come to the understanding that their insistence of engaging these bodies in the electronic ether is what is in fact driving them crazy.

They are totally dependent upon you seeking them out.

Is the Democratic Party determined to drive the nation insane? Kind of looks like that.

    YES.

A new insanity? Not just race war, but family wars.

Families turning on each other because of the vaccine that Democrats are most heavily pushing. Just as it was engineered to do, the question of whether or not to vaxx, plus the stress of getting vaxxed.

They have got us where they want us: At each other’s throats, or not communicating at all.

People are expressing confusion and grief at the behavior of their vaxxed friends and family. Apparently, whether it is physical or psychological, those who have gotten vaxxed are treating the unvaxxed as pariahs, and in some cases showing aggression or violence toward them. Even their own parents.

Also, in some cases, it’s clear that the vaxxed are now afraid of being around those that aren’t (which makes no sense – if they believe it works).

In others… in a commenter’s experience: “After getting the shot the complications and their body feeling as they are changing, is causing them anger towards others. Their friends and family have told them AFTER they got the shot the side effects, and because they didn’t do any research (trust the Science), now they are experiencing those side effects and are angry they were not told before. In other words, they’re pissed.”

And this is in addition to the new ‘everything is racist’ line we’re all supposed to buy, and adhere to, and if we don’t, we are white supremacists.

They’ve got us coming and going with the social engineering no doubt planned for decades. They introduced it in stages. This did not happen over night. Many of us watched the pieces being put into place, not quite understanding what they might mean. Until now.

2020 started a mad rush to remove any rights we still have for the Great Reset, which is now being implemented.

If the Vaxx Passports become a thing, that’s it. Game, set & match, they will have won.

For the Covidians, the jabs are the equivalent of baptism for born-again Christians.

I have to wonder if there is something in the mRNA that alters their thought patterns.

I know there are not many vidya gamers here, but the Covidian cult bears a lot of similarities to the Unitology cult in the, “Dead Space,” game series.

      Predictive programming or mere coincidence?

      • AKlein April 12, 2021 at 2:32 pm #

Thirdcoast, your comment regarding the inoculation as being a sort of “baptism”, I too have noticed that recently. Many people I have overheard lately talking about having gotten the vaccine, talk about it as though it were a supremely honor-worthy rite of passage, a signal to the world that they have heard the message and now expect to receive the teacher’s gold star. They strike me that they want to toady to somebody, but they have no recipient for their toadying, so they spuriously and freely broadcast their message of having been oh-so-virtuous. Frankly, it’s more than a bit revolting.

NO, I agree. The stuff is so thick now that’s it’s hard to break free from it. “They” have us where they wanted, utterly divided. How long have you been an expat? Things have accelerated frightfully in the last few years.

Whenever you feel like it, I’d like your take on AfD. It intrigues me. It doesn’t seem racist to me, just common sense. I have a cousin in Berlin, works for D. Welle and of course she equates it with the devil and the brownshirts.

          Rulo,

I have been here for well over a decade now. Germany is a mixed bag on this stuff. There is a real resistance movement, but there are a lot of powerful bureaucrats trying to force tighter regultations.

They have been somewhat cautious to date as I think they know that many Germans are suspicious, paricularly given the history here in both the 30s and in the East.

That said, they are trying to force kids to test themselves in school as of next week. We will be refusing, so it will be interesting to see what comes. All I know is that we will have to school him from home until something changes. The new strategy seems to be to stress families where possible.

As to AfD, I cannot really say. The media treats them as the US media treated Trump supporters, with all kinds of wild claims about racism. I do know that they are openly against the Corona measures.

      • MaryV April 13, 2021 at 10:22 am #

Well, many peoples’ living depends on going along with that insanity and if they don’t, they risk losing quite a lot. So beyond a distraction, it’s yet another battle we are forced to fight.

The MIC is just one part of the Deep State.

The bureaucracy is the biggest and actually the most powerful.

The MIC. Pentagon, and its suppliers, lobbyists

The media, which is supposed to be a check on the Deep State, yeah right.

The judiciary, supposed to be blindfolded politically, yeah right.

The DOJ and the intelligence agencies, totally out of control.

These are the main components. Note that I have not mentioned the elected government? That is because they are the weakest group in the Deep State. That is why the Uniparty is coming into control, they really have little power by themselves, they get it from the Deep State.

With the Supreme Court being subjugated, the Congress hog tied, the President is becoming a dictator running this bureaucracy, which actually runs itself. This is why the military could be the real power in the future.

We are so very close to what the USSR was in the 50s and 60s.

In DC, it is survival of the fittest. That is why party no longer matters. The Deep State is like a separate country now, with the US people as an enemy.

He seems to be in DC though. His weekend schedule lists a one hour trip to Trinity Church in Georgetown on Saturday afternoon. I do wonder what kind of “orders” he issues. Perhaps something like, fix the border issue–it’s making me look bad, Call Shumer and see how the infrastructure bill is going…. No, I don’t want to talk to Putin. Watched the briefing led by the Police Chief of the town of Brooklyn Center, next to Minneapolis.

The Chief answered “questions” largely from a group of deranged activists at the end of the presentation. The activists weren’t interested in the death of Mr. Wright. They were much more concerned with the treatment their Stalinist cadre received by the police force of the town there, after the little Social revolutionaries threw bricks, frozen cans of pop, and cinder blocks at the police– and the police returned fire with tear gas and rubber bullets.

    • BackRowHeckler April 12, 2021 at 2:58 pm #

Looks like another shopping opportunity as well, with stores looted across the Minneapolis area.

Just in time to pick up a few items for spring.

A few days ago in Hartford a 3 year old boy was shot and killed; circumstances are a little fuzzy, but it looks like a group of Youts in a stolen car riding around the hood shooting at other moving vehicles and at pedestrians on the sidewalk. IOW, just a little target practice. One has to assume the guns were stolen too. A 16 yo kid was killed a few minutes later but it’s the death of the 3 year old that really has people upset.

This sort of thing goes on year after year — no matter what’s tried or how much money is spent, nothing changes.

instead of just slavery reparations (1865), it will now include reparations for all the jim crow laws (1865-1960), and then for all the wealth gaps and mass incarceration of blacks (1960-2020).

this way even the blacks who did not have an ancestor who was a slave can receive reparations. such as barack obama and others.
also all the other immigrants, asians and hispanics, who have come here will now owe blacks reparations. moving to goal posts again. what a racket.

How many social workers & mental health workers & case workers will be available to continue assisting the mobs of single mothers in black dominated urban centers with the caseloads of paperwork so they can continue pretending that there is some type of better life out for them?

“A Hundred Days of Joe… The executive regime, whatever it actually consists of, has rolled out an impressive first hundred days agenda of orders and acts designed to obliterate whatever remains of an American common culture and a US economy based on the transactions of free individuals.”

One might say… ‘Say it ain’t so, Joe!’

Say it ain’t so? But sadly… it’s… SO! But just like one hundred years ago when a large segment of the population didn’t want to believe that That Joe Back Then (and his Team) did what he was accused of doing… a large segment of America doesn’t want to believe what The Current Joe is allowing to be done to the nation and world in his soiled name.

But again, just like one hundred years ago, any culpability of Today’s Joe in the atrocities of today will be judged… Not Guilty!… just like it was back then by a jury of slanted and distorted history and Woked-Up Warriors and Bought-And-Paid-For-Media harlots and jackals eager to wipe the soil away from Today’s Joe’s legacy like infield dust off a runner sliding into home plate.

From a broader perspective, the addition of alien races to America in the late 20th century vastly lowered our social capital. All diversity does to some extent, but this was a new extreme. The very social capital necessary to quell the rise of Totalitarianism.

We let in a new nation of people (Mexicans and Central Americans), a people with a deep hostility to us. We obviously leaned nothing from Black slavery.

JHK: “Is the Democratic Party determined to drive the nation insane?

I can’t see how. Look how insane “the nation” (of Trump) has already become…

A new Reuters/Ipsos poll found that 63% of Republicans strongly or somewhat disagree that Trump is at least partly to blame for the events of January 6th.

Six out of ten Republicans strongly or somewhat agree that the 2020 election was stolen from former President Trump. And 55% of Republican respondents believe the Capitol riots were led by “violent left-wing protesters trying to make Trump look bad.” This means that there are many more Trump-type Republicans out there than reasonable Republicans.

This is a massive issue for the country. If the American right refuses to live in a fact-based reality, there is no hope for making a good faith approach to public policy.

    • O.G. Hawkins April 12, 2021 at 6:59 pm #

Sez the guy who gets his facts-based Reality from corporate pressitutes.

You don’t know that the election wasn’t stolen any more than 60% of Republicans who believe that it was.

      • Tekapo April 12, 2021 at 7:45 pm #

You don’t know that the election wasn’t stolen any more than 60% of Republicans who believe that it was.

That is not very logical. There is no scientific method by which you can prove the total impossibility of something happening. There could be fairies at the bottom of the garden, there could be a god in a heaven, etc etc. But hardly the point.

And as has been said many times – it was not (and is not) up to the Democrats to prove that the election wasn’t stolen – that is an absurd ask. It is up to those who believe it was stolen to prove that it was, and they have not – and also worth noting that nearly all the swing states were under Republican legislative control.

        • hmuller April 12, 2021 at 7:54 pm #

Your argument is premised on the assumption we live in a nation where truth and justice triumph over corruption and the rule of evil forces.

Many Republicans so-called are in fact globalist lap dogs (Romney, the Bush family, Mitch, etc). We’ve been over this time and again. You don’t see the same world I see. So save the patronizing insults and bullshit you now feel compelled to unload!

You “don’t see the same world” as those of us who are based in reality. I’m sure you haven’t always been so deluded. Why don’t you examine your experiences of the last 5 to 10 years, and see if you can identify when the nutjob/tinfoil virus got into your system? You can do it, you know.

I never said that the election was stolen. I said that I do not know and that neither do you.

            That is my point exactly.

I don’t know whether the election was stolen but I am not asserting or believing that it was. Those who do so assert or believe, have some proving to do, it seems to me, if they want to make their case.

Assertions and fervid belief are not sufficient – that is why we have a justice system, and a lot of smart and well-trained judges.

If you don’t trust the legal system to adjudicate conflicts, then I would like to know what system you would prefer. War? Duelling? Jousting? The Rack? Throwing witches down a well?

damn, gun control claims another innocent life

    • stelmosfire April 12, 2021 at 9:32 pm #

Wiki says ‘Mr. Wright had an outstanding warrant for “fleeing from law enforcement officers and for possessing a gun without a permit during an encounter with Minneapolis police” in June 2020.[6][14]

So less then a year ago the deceased fled arrest and was captured with an illegal firearm. Had a warrent issued because he decided not to go back to court. “What me? I ain’t goin’ to no white man’s court.” The police in this incident most probably knew all this before trying to arrest Mr. Wright. I can only assume they considered him armed. Cop fucked up shooting him but if he had followed the law to begin with he would still be alive.

      When will they ever learn?

I have made that point over and over since Rodney King.
My wife and I had an intense discussion about this very topic during the Rodney King nonsense.
My point to her at the time was If I pulled the shit ol Rodney did I would have got a beat down as well and it had little to do with race.
His ass should have been charged for every person he endangered by driving at speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour attempting to avoid arrest. H e was also high as fuck at the time. Fair has nothing to do with it much training has happened since then but humans are after all humans.

Lo and Behold flash forward some thirty years and the wife has come around to the correct point of view behavior has consequences.
This topic is a dead horse so I guess we should all just be allowed to rob, loot, murder and rape since no one is allowed to be arrested for their crimes unless they consent to it.
Is this really the country idiots want?
Joe Biden more than once quipped about super predators maybe he was sort of right.

benr – I look forward to the decision on this lawsuit. Finally, some evidence will get to a court and its veracity will be adjudicated!

No, wait…if the judge declines to hear it, or if it IS heard but dismissed (by a jury or judge), that won’t change your mind, will it?

No, it’ll just reinforce the twisted, debunked belief that “the whole world is against” you, which, ironically, gives much better context to your musical reference.

      From the OANN story:

“That includes Rock the Vote, the Clinton campaign, all of those people have access to the voter roll and can make changes to it at any time,” DePerno said. “Add people to it, take people out. During the election, the night of the election, the day after the election.”

Lots of states – including red states – sell voter roll data to third parties all the time, but it’s going to be a tough job for the plaintiffs in the case to prove that any of those third parties had the capacity or wherewithal to “make changes at any time”.

Easy to assert that something is possible – much harder to prove that it occurred. If I were a betting person, I would wager that the voter rolls (and votes) are secured behind pretty robust firewalls.

…… on second thought , I don’t suppose it would make any difference anyway.

60 years of studies in human sexuality pretty one – sidedly show that pedophilia and Ephebophilia are evenly distributed between the sexes , but the image of child molester is still a man.

Perhaps the greatest genocide of the 20th century was abortion. I suspect that in a great many of those cases THE DECISION INVOLVED MULTIPLE PARTIES.

Never the less , it may well be that women PULLED THE TRIGGER on the greatest genocide of the 20th century .

And a hundred years after women got the vote in most of the developed world , the developed world apparently still spends the bulk of taxpayers money on the military , police , and laws / policies that repress people rather than helping them.

The Gay lobby is a fucking joke , so what the fuck ?

My deep dark suspicion is that things like pedo and trans have been VERY CONVENIENT for a heterosexual crowd that wouldn’t reign itself in.

Can someone explain to me the need for less than wanted or planned-for children to be forced by law into our population. Primitive tribes controlled population through maternal infanticide. Abortion opposition seems possibly the most superstition-laden of contemporary political views to me.

Completely agree that volumes of hetero perversion have flown under radar by deflecting attention to more flashy, spectrum-extreme sexual practices.

One of the greatest current hypocrisies of the Repubs. Less regulation of the environment, of business, of government itself.

But we must regulate the Uterus!

          • Redneck Liberal April 12, 2021 at 11:20 pm #

Quite right. The ‘religious-sight conservatives’ who fight most loudly against legal abortion will defend the sacred right of every fetus to be born, regardless of race color, or religion – even black babies born into poverty.

Once they hit the ground, though they’re on their own. If the child’s single mother claims welfare, she’s a JohnAZ ‘gimme’.

When the child grows up into a frustrated, disengaged teenager and starts stealing cars & tooling around quiet Connecticut neighborhoods to piss Marlin off, he’ll be ‘Yout’ or a “Community Member”.

Eventually, a cop will sort it all out with a .38 caliber ‘taser’.

Fat lot of knowledge you have as in none!
No LEO carries a 38 and THEY have not for years unless its an ankle holster spare!

Three calibers leading the charge 9mm, 40mm and 45 the big boomer there are few now dragging around the 10mm or 50!
Personally at this point if I was a cop I would opt for the .57 ar 15 round in a pistol.

Its light and made for punching through body armor like we have seen the pathetic NFAC use and you can carry far more for that special day.
You know the one all cops dream about the day they make a traffic stop on a known felon and get to splatter them all over the place for resisting arrest. It must be a dream they all seem to share to be threatened, smeared, sued and fired for a simple problem of them youts thinking no one is allowed to hold them accountable for their actions even when they behave like morons. Yeah that dream pulling people over on drugs, hammered, belligerent, and most of all stupid.
Anyone that disagrees with any of the above schedule a ride along some time it will change your entire perspective of how LEO’s deal with people and most of all what most cops put up with on a daily basis just doing their jobs,

            There’s empirical evidence…

‘Crime rates in the U.S. have fallen by about half since the early 1990s. A new working paper from the National Bureau of Economic Research finds that legalized abortion following the Supreme Court’s landmark Roe v. Wade decision in 1973 accounts for 45% of the decline in crime rates over the past three decades.

You & your sad, like-minded, “marginalized” White Boomers think the USA is a hellscape of crime now! Imagine how it might have been if Roe v. Wade hadn’t been upheld.

Sorry I was unclear, Redneck. I’m not denying that killing off as many blacks (and poor whites and hispanics, too) reduces crime. The more of the lowest class you kill off, the fewer criminals. No arguing with that.

I was questioning the morality of killing low-income babies as a preventative measure. You left-wingers always claim the moral high ground.

            Efficacy…Morality. Two different issues.

60 million aborted black babies since Roe v Wade.
As a famous eugenicists said got to pull them weeds.

All across America, video of activists attacking statues plays on a loop while some political leaders voice their support for removing all reminders of people whose personal histories put them in a negative light. In asking for the U.S. Capitol to be cleansed of Confederate statues, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said they must go because their efforts were “to achieve such a plainly racist end.” New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said on NBC’s “Today” show that removing statues is a “healthy expression” of priorities and values.

For those identifying historical figures with racist roots who should be removed from public view because of their evil histories, Planned Parenthood’s founder, Margaret Sanger, must join that list. In promoting birth control, she advanced a controversial “Negro Project,” wrote in her autobiography about speaking to a Ku Klux Klan group and advocated for a eugenics approach to breeding for “the gradual suppression, elimination and eventual extinction, of defective stocks — those human weeds which threaten the blooming of the finest flowers of American civilization.”

Or when his grandmother told him she was being threatened by a Black vagrant. He had no sympathy at all for her (a mere white) but only for the Black. No one was kinder to him than his Grandmother. ALEXANDRA JAFFE
    Mon, April 12, 2021, 12:49 PM
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Biden administration has struck an agreement with Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala to temporarily surge security forces to their borders in an effort to reduce the tide of migration to the U.S. border.

The agreement comes as the U.S. saw a record number of unaccompanied children attempting to cross the border in March, and the largest number of Border Patrol encounters overall with migrants on the southern border — just under 170,000 — since March 2001.

According to White House press secretary Jen Psaki, Mexico will maintain a deployment of about 10,000 troops, while Guatemala has surged 1,500 police and military personnel to its southern border and Honduras deployed 7,000 police and military to its border “to disperse a large contingent of migrants” there. Guatemala will also set up 12 checkpoints along the migratory route through the country.

A White House official said Guatemala and Honduras were deploying troops temporarily in response to a large caravan of migrants that was being organized at the end of March.

Psaki said “the objective is to make it more difficult to make the journey, and make crossing the borders more difficult.”

She added that the agreement was the product of “a series of bilateral discussions” between U.S. officials and the governments of the Central American nations. While Vice President Kamala Harris has been tasked with leading diplomatic efforts to tamp down on the increase in migration at the U.S. border, Psaki declined to share details on her involvement with the discussions and said only that the discussions happened at “several levels.”

She noted that Roberta Jacobson, who will depart her role as the administration’s southwest border coordinator at the end of the month, was involved in talks.

Mexico announced in March that it was deploying National Guard members and immigration agents to its southern border, and it has maintained more personnel at its southern border since Trump threatened tariffs on Mexican imports in 2019.

On Monday, Mexico’s Foreign Affairs ministry said, “Mexico will maintain the existing deployment of federal forces in the its border area, with the objective of enforcing its own immigration legislation, to attend to migrants, mainly unaccompanied minors, and to combat the trafficking of people.”

Honduras Foreign Affairs Minister Lisandro Rosales said Monday that Honduras maintains a multinational force at its border with Guatemala that works closely with that government on not only immigration, but also organized crime and other illegal activity. But “there was no commitment on the part of the Honduran delegation to put soldiers on the border, even though there is a clear commitment by the Honduran government to avoid this kind of migration that generates death and mourning for Honduran families,” Rosales said.

But Honduras Defense Secretary Fredy Santiago Díaz Zelaya, who was part of a Honduran delegation that met with U.S. officials in Washington last week, said later that the military was studying the possibility of sending more troops to the border to assist in migration control. He said the military always works under a plan and that planning would determine how many troops would assist national police and immigration authorities at the border.

“We need to do a correct analysis of the situation, increase troops if it’s necessary,” Díaz Zelaya told local press. He said Honduras would do so “in response to this request that comes from the great nation to the north (the United States) to be able to help on the issue of immigration.”

The Guatemalan government denied there was any signed agreement with the United States to place troops at the border to stop migrants. “The Guatemalan government has undertaken protection and security actions at the border since last year, on its own initiative, it is a constitutional mandate,” said presidential spokeswoman Patricia Letona. “In the context of the pandemic, the protection of the borders has become a fundamental aim for the containment of the virus.”

Guatemalan troops have been responsible for breaking up the last several attempted migrant caravans.

The increase in migrants at the border is becoming one of the major challenges confronting Biden in the early months of his first term.

Numbers grew sharply during Trump’s final year in office but further accelerated under Biden, who quickly ended many of his predecessor’s policies, including one that made asylum-seekers wait in Mexico for court hearings in the U.S.

Mexicans represented the largest proportion of people encountered by the U.S. Border Patrol, and nearly all were single adults. Arrivals of people from Honduras and Guatemala were second and third, respectively, and more than half of the people from those countries were families or children traveling alone.

Yoho: At last some action from the hapless Biden administration. Sounds like a half assed and temporary version of what Trump had in place. These children had to do the opposite of Trump and then couldn’t handle the deluge. They opened the dikes wide.

Trump wanted these people to come here “because the economy is so good”. But the right way – Legally! A legal invasion and takeover, lol. Well there is virtue in order and pacing, even if that’s all he really ever believed in.

Psaki answered: “Well I can confirm that the President of the United States does not spend his time tweeting conspiracy theories. He spends his time working on behalf of the American people.”

I haven’t gotten my $600 check… I haven’t gotten my $1400 check. Are they really working “on behalf of the American people.”

“75 percent of actual Americans polled favor voter ID, probably for the excellent reason that not requiring ID would be insane.”

It would be interesting to see the correlation between a belief in voter ID, and the states those people live in. Currently some 27 states (a modest majority only of blue states) do not require ID at all, or have a non-strict request for non-photo ID.

    Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voter_identification_laws_in_the_United_States

My dislike of voter ID is partly because it’s a bit Third World-y and Commie, but mostly because it is hard to see how it stops any large-scale fraud. If state and county electoral rolls are properly maintained (removing deceased people or those who move interstate), then any attempt to vote twice would be caught.

And how does voter ID work with mail-in ballots (which are also used widely in many states)? And five states have only mail-in voting, without any previous claims of voter fraud.

It seems to me the two weaknesses in the system are (1) people who are not citizens being registered via “automatic registration” – but do we know how prevalent this is? and (2) live ballots being mailed out to everyone on the roll, not just those who request it.

But even in the states that do that – or do it more in the future – presumably each ballot paper is bar-coded and tracked via a secure trail.

I think voter ID is a solution without a genuine problem – and the whole purpose of electoral reform is to get as many people registered and voting as possible, not making it harder.

Here is a pretty long and thorough analysis of what HR1 would do if enacted: https://www.brennancenter.org/our-work/policy-solutions/annotated-guide-people-act-2021

But on balance, if some uniform system of voter ID – a card you receive if and when registered, and that lasts for life – means that a much larger percentage of voters (especially Republicans) believe in the integrity of each federal election, then it might be a worthwhile initiative.

But I don’t see how national voter ID addresses three key Republican grievances: non-citizens registering, mail-in ballot stuffing / harvesting, and software shenanigans in voting machines.

They could combine VaxxPass and Voter ID and Visa/Mastercard/Paypal and …

Everyone (not Just Amereekans, but everyone) could take a Mark that both uniquely identifies them while also includes them in the global allegiance to the Beast.

      All problems solved.

      • Tekapo April 12, 2021 at 11:02 pm #

I have no problem with a universal ID pass – so long as it was really useful … if it could do everything i wanted: allow me to drive a car, rent a car, buy an air ticket, rent a DVD from the store, enter a smartphone contract, lease an apartment, allow me to access health services and government services. And so on.

It would be neat never to have to fill in a form again – neither electronically nor on paper. I would have one number for everything 🙂

And ID passes are also a Mark of privilege and access – it is a VIP ticket to every major sporting event, every festival, the Oscars, every parliament, every secure building – even backstage at a Rolling Stones concert.

I’m not religious, but the “Mark of the Beast” concept is a valid one to be feared, even if the “Beast” is simply your run-of-the-mill totalitarian state instead of a supernatural AntiChrist.

At the end of the day, such a universal ID, issued by a central governmental authority, required for any and all economic and other transactions, would be a powerful tool for elites to use to control billions of people and to bend them to their will.

          No thanks.

You say I am too much on the Left and the Right is going to get me.

    Never!

Only you think that the answer to this country’s woes with the Deep State is more government. You are the one that makes no sense. You seem to be looking for a benevolent dictatorship, a national socialism. Socialism is Leftist, friend, not Right. Any government does a really crappy job of whatever it does, so just making it more powerful destroys the nation.

    Remember Reagan,

The government is not the solution to the problem,

    It is the problem!!

The Founding Fathers feared the British dictator, George 3. It lead them to the Constitution, with its division of power to stop the government from becoming onerous to its people.

We are learning right now what happens when the dictators win.

Communism has turned to Capitalism in China to make its people better off. I think that the tech giants here have gotten too big and too powerful, and need to be rearranged.

Globalism helped to put a bad face on Capitalism, but a well regulated capitalism is the way to go. All systems are going to morph and be entropic to a degree, that degree dependent on politics and the nature of the particular country’s leaders.

Our system has let us down considerably, but it has also given us the ‘highest standard of living’ in the world, generally speaking.

But the secret to his success was his voluntary relinquishment of total power once his mission was accomplished, after which he returned to his home to take up farming once more – an example emulated by George Washington who could, had he so desired, made himself a King or President-for-Life.

Watch tonight’s Tucker. Capitalism survived because Roosevelt beat it with a stick and that cut it up into pieces. Capitalism destroys itself (competition is a sin) by becoming the power structure UNLESS prevented in doing so by the State – and that takes a very strong State indeed.

Josh Hawley wants Anti-Trust legislation. Trump never dared to go this far. I think it’s too late, but at least someone said it. Trump dared to bring back tariffs. This is the next step. ONLY this kind of National Socialism can save us. You can call it something else if you like. A Commonwealth maybe? A term from our history. A social credit system a la Douglas? There’s wisdom there to be sure. There’s some real differences, but any good system is going to have do a lot of the same things.

You don’t have a leg to stand on. The Big Boys don’t believe in “Capitalism” – they believe in winning. They want money and the power that comes from it. Capitalism and competition is for the little guys, the suckers. Since you can’t get it, you’re prey. A rube not a carny. The true Patriot is neither predator nor prey. His symbol is the Buffalo.

      • tucsonspur April 13, 2021 at 3:27 am #

You’re in the ivory tower. So National Socialists wouldn’t want money and power? Oh, I see, they are all ‘true Patriots.’ Buffalo chips.

No prey under National Socialists? “Come down, come down, from your ivory tower….”

Mankind is both predator and prey. Mankind hunts his own.

Somehow Whites and East Asians managed to produce peaceful, prosperous civilizations – and other groups didn’t. You don’t get because you don’t want to get it. Still trying to be “cool”, right? Do you still wear a beret?

    • Yohannon April 13, 2021 at 1:00 am #

National Socialism is neither left nor right nor both nor neither. It’s something else.

An excerp from the ADL article that Tucker brandished (they’re after him):

The State of Israel was established out of the nationalist aspirations of the Jewish people and an international recognition of the rights of Jews to a homeland following millennia of persecution. While a Jewish state, Israel’s founding principles guarantee equal treatment and protection for all its citizens’ – regardless of religion, ethnicity or color.

A bi-national state, in principle and in practice, would mean the ideological end of the Jewish State of Israel and lead to the forsaking of Jewish nationalism and identity, along with its special status as a refuge for Jews fleeing persecution.

Furthermore, bi-nationalism is unworkable given current realities and historic animosities. With historically high birth rates among the Palestinians, and a possible influx of Palestinian refugees and their descendants now living around the world, Jews would quickly be a minority within a bi-national state, thus likely ending any semblance of equal representation and protections. In this situation, the Jewish population would be increasingly politically – and potentially physically – vulnerable.

Yoho: Is this Left or Right? It’s neither. It’s nationalism, ok? Both the healthy Israeli Left and the healthy Israeli Right endorse the existence of Israel for the Jewish people.

You still think everything is either Left or Right. This is above that. Or below that in the sense of being the base or foundation. If you don’t have this, you don’t have a Nation. Capitalism only whittles the nation away if you let it. You keep it in check with Socialism. And you keep the Socialism in check with Capitalism. And to be able to balance these two, you have to be situated above them, with a different non-exclusively economic pov. You have to love your people and nation in other words.

I’ve always said we could learn from them. Alas if they only granted us the same freedom which they relish for themselves. But that’s the way of the world. We have to take it. They’ll never endorse it because it’s not in their interest to do so.

But they are making obscene amounts of profit doing it.

The cost of living is so high, most bank employees reside over the border in Switzerland or Austria.

    Oligarchy

They’ve got the perfect tool to manage the Herd now in Social Media?

“ For most of the ninety years since James Truslow Adams coined the term American Dream, most Americans still believed the fairy tale of the American Dream, that no matter how humble your beginnings, everyone had a fair chance to become a success in America, based upon your individual talent, intelligence, work ethic and a society that rewarded those who exceled. Sadly, that dream is no longer achievable for most Americans. Our society has devolved into an oligarchy since The Epic of America was published in 1931, where a powerful few rule over a willfully ignorant many through propaganda, mistruth, fear, and an iron fist.”

    The Herd is not responding.

“Since vaccinations began on February 26, only about 7 per cent of Hong Kong’s 7.5 million residents have had at least one jab. Those who have gone ahead to get vaccinated include expatriates and others keen to travel for various reasons. Many others are adopting a “wait and see” attitude, saying they do not trust the government or have concerns about the safety of the jabs.Experts warn that “vaccine hesitancy” is threatening the city’s goal of vaccinating 70 per cent of its population to achieve herd immunity, which will allow for a relaxation of social-distancing measures.”

    • SoftStarLight April 13, 2021 at 3:42 am #

The Pentagon is very forward thinking on all of this. You never want to react. Rather, tis better to respond.. Therefore shouldn’t you be helped before you even need it rather than having to deal with and debate “the jab” after the fact?

      https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/medical/pentagon-scientists-invent-microchip-which-senses-covid-19-in-the-body/ar-BB1fy3y7

    • MaryV April 13, 2021 at 12:02 pm #

      Here’s my question:

Since the vaccines being given now are part of a TRIAL and are experimental, why isn’t every single person who gets one being carefully overseen and observed for months afterwards and having their symptoms or lack thereof recorded carefully as they would do in a trial? How can you run a trial and then the trial subject just goes on their way and is solely responsible for reporting what happens to them?

I asked a vaxxed friend last night if she was told when she got her vaxx that it was experimental. She said ‘no.’ So, two things going on here: People coerced or duped into getting the vaxx, and not being told it’s experimental, and then afterwards they are not followed up on.

      This is beyond criminal.

The stupid or untrained action or even malicious action or whatever. Or the political power grab that will result from the reaction to the action? And the fact that those shedding the biggest and most sparkly crocodile tears apparently will magically obtain multiple ginormous palatial pads in ice cream and apple pie zipcodes. As long as the melanin is on the right side of the paper bag. Whatever the case criminals and thugs run the streets, the beats, and the elites. So one could even come to the conclusion that there was a friendly fire incident. Beyond all that the narrative and the expectations are steady. Cities will burn and the same people who capitulate and genuflect for the feels? will be justifying the descent into paleo-cannabilism because that would be a far better fate than even worrying about policing or maintaining any sort of social order.
