“Not only is there no threat from Russia that is independent of American policy, but it is also the expansion of NATO to ‘meet the threat from Russia’ that creates the very threat that expansion was supposed to meet.” — Alistair Crooke

I doubt that many Americans — even the masses sunk in vaccine smuggery and obsessive Trump-o-phobia — believe that America’s Ukraine project is working out for us. Of course, to even begin thinking about this debacle, you must at least suspect that our government is lying about virtually everything it has its hand in. Name something it is not lying about, I dare you.

So, what is the Ukraine project about? To use that sad-ass country as a vector to disable and destroy Russia. You can’t over-state the stupidity of that objective. And why did we want to do that? Because… reasons. Oh? And what were they? Well, Russia was… there. Oh? And what was it doing? Trying to take over the world? Uh, no. It was actually just trying to be a normal European nation again after its traumatic 75-year-long experiment with communism, which ended in 1991.

And then, after that, coming along pretty well under Mr. Putin. Did I say that? Yes, I did, because it is a fact. Russia wrote new private property laws, made commerce legal again, and allowed its citizens to do business. Russia wasn’t threatening any other nations, most particularly not its former province, Ukraine. It had even invited Ukraine to be a sovereign member of its trade association, the customs union, with a bunch of other regional states who had rational interests in good regional relations. That’s what set off the maniacs at the US State Department — under Secretary John Kerry, a.k.a. the haircut-in-search-of a-brain — who, in 2014, decided to overthrow Ukraine’s government.

The project since then has been to use the US-controlled Ukraine government to antagonize Russia and, finally, to draw Russia into a military operation intended, SecDef Lloyd Austin said more than once, “to weaken Russia.” Well, everything we’ve done there, from eight years of shelling the Donbas, to kicking Russia out of the West’s banking system, to pouring billions of US dollars into Ukraine’s corrupt government, has only strengthened Russia internally, earned the approbation of many other nations who object to US interference in their regions, and steered poor Ukraine into the graveyard of failed states.

We are losing this unnecessary proxy war about as steadily as possible, and actually making Russia look good in the process. Russia could have ended the war in five minutes by turning Kiev into an ashtray, but it spent the first eight months of the operation trying to avoid busting up Ukraine’s infrastructure, so as not to turn it into a failed state (that would present new and worse problems). Mr. Putin made many overtures to negotiate an end to the conflict, all rejected by Ukraine, the US, and its NATO “partners.”

So, now Russia is grinding on-the-ground to reduce Ukraine’s ability to continue making war by systematically killing the troops Ukraine foolishly throws into the battle line, and destroying Ukraine’s heavy weapons. Ukraine is about out of its own soldiers and weapons. Russia is maneuvering to roll over what’s left there and put an end to these pointless and needless hostilities. Contrary to US propaganda, Russia has no ambition to conquer NATO territory. Rather its aim is to restore order to a corner of the world that has been its legitimate sphere of influence for centuries — and more than once been used as a doormat for European armies to invade Russia.

Apparently, we can’t allow Russia to clean up this mess we made — or we pretend that we can’t, even though it’s happening anyway, whether we like it or not. So now, the US promises to send thirty-one M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine. A bold move, you think? Not exactly. By the time these tanks get anywhere in the vicinity of Ukraine, this war is likely to be over. Never mind the difficult business of training the few remaining eligible Ukrainian men between sixteen and sixty how to operate the tanks, and training maintenance crews, and delivering inventories of spare parts — you see where this is going — not to mention the certainty that the Russians will simply blow them up as fast as they appear on the premises. Anyway, a measly thirty-one tanks that can barely be operated is meaningless compared to hundreds of T-72s backed by newer T-14 tanks the Russians can muster from just over their border with Ukraine.

The tank proffer is, sad to say (for the dignity of our country), a joke, kind of a last feeble pretense before the whole thing ends in ignominy for the “Joe Biden” team — whoever that actually is. The repercussions are liable to be ugly for our country, not necessarily in terms of more military trouble in other lands (which we probably lack the capacity to engage in now), but something more personal: the collapse of the dollar as the world’s reserve currency and a vicious loss of purchasing power here at home. That would provoke a situation worse than the Great Depression of the 1930s, and that’s probably where things are going.

The Ukraine misadventure will disappear from America’s collective consciousness in a New York minute and a Fourth Turning jamboree of serious domestic political disorder will commence in short order. If you think “Joe Biden’s” term in office has been a disaster so far, just wait. You ain’t seen nuttin yet.

I tried to have this discussion with a couple of co-workers and was rewarded with blank stares and but Putins.
Even suggested the Ukrainians were actually killing Russians in Donbas region and that is what started the Fireworks.
Even told them for now Russian is a regional power at best and China was the one we need to be wary of.

Amazed at the serious ignorance of actual events these two displayed.

One of them even started in on the tired trope of Trump is communist.
His reason Trump has a business interest in Moscow.
I suggested other people in American business and politics did as well.
I finally walked away shaking my head it was like talking to a slightly more interesting version of rr or rl but equally brain dead.

    • benr January 27, 2023 at 9:33 am #

Should have read tired old trope of Trump collusion with Russia, Russia, Russia and the reason, Trump is a communist.

      • Beryl of Oyl January 27, 2023 at 10:56 am #

Some people come by a deep and abiding hatred of Russia and Russians honestly. That is part of the problem, something that complicates the issue.

        This goes way back.

That does not excuse the people who just buy the prevailing narrative though.

Such as reporters for the Albany Times Union.

        • Woodchuck January 27, 2023 at 11:18 am #

Uh, yes, this goes way back. According to Dimitri Orlov, here’s the situation:

“The gauntlet was thrown down in 1252, when Alexander Nevsky accepted an official document, called yarlyk, from Khan Batyj of the Golden Horde (part of the Mongolian Empire), allowing him to reign as the Grand Prince of Kiev (and thus the ruler of all of Russia), rather than ask for a blessing from the Pope in Rome, as was required of all Western kings. To these Western potentates, their claim to be ordained by God was based on approval by His head office at the Vatican; to the Russians, the Pope was just some heretic usurper. The religious distinction played itself out over time, but the notion that there is an exclusive club of Western nations who deserve to wield authority over the rest of the world has remained to this day.

There followed a series of onslaughts on Russia spanning many centuries, all stemming from the same simple principle: that which the West cannot control must be destroyed. The Germans and the Swedes kept on attacking it until 1709. Then the French attacked again in 1812; and then the Germans in 1941. The Americans were poised to attack in March of 2022, via their Ukrainian/NATO proxies, but were preempted by Russia’s Special Military Operation. Thus, the last Crusade has been aborted and further attempts seem unlikely, since, at this point, there is no question of destroying that which the West cannot control, and not just Russia but also much of the rest of the world. Even tiny North Korea can stand up to the collective West and wag a finger in its face. The thousand-year show is nearly over.”

          • Paula D January 27, 2023 at 11:34 am #

Unless the US decides to destroy not just Russia, Ukraine and Europe, but the entire world.

            I honestly think they will.

“You got this!” they tell us, referring to nuclear war.

          • SW January 27, 2023 at 12:46 pm #

One Second After by Bill Forstchen is a fictionalized account of what would happen if even a small nation with the ability to drop an EMP — electromagnetic pulse weapon, did it. It’s an atomic bomb detonated above the earth’s atmosphere and generates a “pulse wave” which travels at the speed of light and can destroy our entire electrical grid and everything attached to it. No phones, no internet, no cars with computer technology will work and the damage can’t be repaired for years.

          • draupnir January 27, 2023 at 1:19 pm #

While we were all ordered to stay in our homes, and the holidays were virtually cancelled, I watched a YouTube video of the New Year’s light show in Moscow, and was stunned. Moscow was clean, not even a piece of paper blowing in the street. Underneath the dazzling light show, it looked prosperous. The imposing buildings of old Europe were all around, and everywhere there were lights. It had to have cost a fortune. I was entranced by the beauty of it, and saddened to realize we had nothing to compare with it. Smartly dressed people were bundled up, walking about, enjoying the show. Children in snowsuits were running around having fun. Nothing is fun here anymore. Any attempt reeks of desperation and you have to be so careful not to offend anyone.

There is a Azerbaijani woman who has an outdoor cooking channel on YouTube. She”s a dour-looking woman in a scarf, and is dressed much like my great grandmother. Her son is her videographer and is quite skilled. Sometimes he brings his children. Part of the charm of it is in the yard. There is a small stream running through it, with ducks. It’s full of flowers. There are chickens and geese pecking. The two cats tease the dogs and the dogs annoy the cats. There are goats wondering around. Sometimes you see a cow browsing. She milks it by hand. Viewers get to watch snipets of the animals leading their happy, little, lives. Her mustachioed husband wanders in and out, building fires or helping her carry heavy items. We get to see him live his happy life, too. Sometimes, her elderly mother makes an appearance. They have a huge farm. Cabbages and other vegetables to the horizon, five or six rows of strawberries that go on forever. There’s a fruit and nut orchard. She makes an enormous amount of food, which confused me, until I realized they were feeding a bunch of farm hands. This is such a change from the bleak old Soviet days. They have a good life.

          • Paula D January 27, 2023 at 1:23 pm #

I think the way of life you describe goes back farther than Soviet days, Draupnir.

That is the way peasants have lived for centuries.

          • Cactus Girl January 27, 2023 at 2:11 pm #

@Woodchuck: wow, that’s really interesting! I always wondered why Russia was E. Orthodox, and about all the Russia hatred I’ve seen my entire life. Thanks for that!

          • Cactus Girl January 27, 2023 at 2:23 pm #

@Draupnir: “Nothing is fun here anymore.”

Boy did you just say a mouthful. Nothing’s been fun here for a very long time, because nothing is spontaneous. Everything is so commercialized: money money money.

I know the YouTube video you’re talking about. i’ve often wondered if it’s for real. Some of it looks set up for Western eyes.

          • draupnir January 27, 2023 at 2:53 pm #

Cactus Girl–I’m sure the yard has been groomed. That’s just good business sense, and the videos have been carefully and beautifully edited. I saw an Azerbaijani news clip regarding them, and the country is quite proud of them, as they have achieved some international renown. They are certainly quite shrewd.

the situation is getting worse by the minute.Ukraine will be a wasteland when it is finally over. The powers that Be want Slavs to kill slavs.Half the country has fled and there are virtually no jews left there, except for the leadership. However, not to worry , american financier larry finkelstein head of Blackrock has pledged to Zelensky that he will rebuild all cities and infrastructure while they plunder all the coveted resources and keep the remaining people destitute. The Christian Orthodox church will disappear, as the ashkenazis will come backt o reclaim what they deem to be their land from the “pale of settlement.” The Russians kept the jews segregated over a wide territory encompassing most of UA. My guess is they are also still angry over massacre of babi Yar near kiev during WW2.as well. Interestingly and tragically, just prior toWW2 , the Uke people were starved to death during holodomor by the Monster Stalin and two henchmen who happen to be Ukranian jews ( kaganovich and khatayevych ). Fast forward to today,my guess is the israelis will eventually step in after the destruction of the war and negotiate a settlement acceptable to both factions. They are already talking to Putin through back channels .Unfortunately, Jesus is not in the picture here . This is the devil’s deal, as this will only benefit the few.( kolomoiseky as an example ) There will be no place to take refuge as the EU is done ,finis, over. The stupid germans committed economic suicide first and now by sending tanks along with rest of Nato have super heightened tensions to the point of no turning back

Probably they raise vegetables for the market.

My observation is that successful market gardeners are very shrewd business people. They have to be.

          Who?

          • loosethedogs January 27, 2023 at 7:15 pm #

            Answer:

The Khazars who were dispersed by the Rus etal for being very naughty people. Today they are known as the Ashkenazi, some of whom went into the Babylonian money magic business, infiltrated governments and now run the West’s banking monopoly and foreign policies. You rarely see much about this subject, but you will find lots of good info if you search.

P.S these folks were known as “name stealers” BUT they are also known for stealing religious and national identities.

You’re a brave and patient man, Benr. Trying to talk sense into people concerning Ukraine is like trying to do the same about Covid and the death shots: a waste of time. All we can do is ensure that the consequences of their stupidity don’t land upon our own heads.

Most international corporations are still gleefully conducting business in Russia.

Just about any manufacturer of clothing, cars, you name it still does business there.

The cud-chewers are here purely to consoooom.

      • GreenAlba January 28, 2023 at 9:50 am #

Rishi Sunak’s wife – daughter of an Indian billionaire businessman – is doing business with Russia. But the hoi polloi are not to have heating and it’s OK to blow up pipelines to make sure they don’t.

My brother and his wife, whom we have just visited, have bought themselves a plug-in hybrid. They have also stopped delivery of The i (sister paper of The Independent) because of its Russian owner, and are enthusiastically switching off electrical items on standby. They’re very well meaning.

Rishi’s ‘farmer’s mansion’ is in Yorkshire too. I bet his wife goes round every night before bed and switches off everything that’s on standby. Because obviously.

    • shotho January 27, 2023 at 10:13 am #

It doesn’t really matter what people like that think. As the article suggests, they (we) will have to deal with consequences far larger and more devastating than what happens in Ukraine. That place will be forgotten soon enough as the world descends into financial and economic depression.

      • Beryl of Oyl January 27, 2023 at 10:58 am #

If we can get some nuclear weapons flying , it will make an excellent cover for all the Died Suddenly going around.

        • MaryQueen January 27, 2023 at 1:10 pm #

          LOL!

    • mrJones January 27, 2023 at 11:15 am #

Why do you expect them to flip instantaneously just on your words. Think of it as planting a seed of knowledge, give it time to grow. Maybe they just need to process it and perhaps do their own research. Now lets plant a seed in your head. “.. and China was the one we need to be wary of.” Really!!!! How is that? If you don’t believe the bs about Russia and all the bs coming out of Mordor why believe any thing they say about China. China is kicking ass in trade, technology, education, infrastructure, etc. Let them have Taiwan, who cares.

      • TaxDonkey January 27, 2023 at 12:49 pm #

Well, Taiwan is a critical part of the semi conductor industry. Making those things depends upon more than 100,000 specialty parts from over 5,000 independent suppliers from something like100 different countries. Ultra pure gasses like nitrogen, Helium, Neon are needed by the ton…. It’s hard to imagine the central planners will shrug their shoulders and “let them have Taiwan”. Regardless of the details, WW3 could be really hard on these highly complex supply chains.

        • Paula D January 27, 2023 at 1:25 pm #

The US has recognized Taiwan as a part of China for 50 years.

The idea that Taiwan is a separate country has been instilled in the minds of Americans in the last 10 years.

It shows the power of propaganda.

          • Paula D January 27, 2023 at 1:26 pm #

            The policy has not changed.

            Only the propaganda has changed.
Again, the fact that so many people don’t know the official policy shows how easily they can manipulate public opinion for their wars.

          • klutch kargo January 28, 2023 at 4:22 pm #

So recall that the govt on Taiwan fled the mainland promising to return. The republic of china and the peoples republic of china both agree that china is china. Not really sure that the USA view on the matter means very much.

          • Paula D January 28, 2023 at 6:50 pm #

Well, kargo, if you accept that the US is agreement incapable, I guess you’re right.

But to rile up the US population to war fever based on a flat out lie? To impudently reverse the truth?

As a Reality-based human being it matters to me.

        • Not_GeorgeT January 27, 2023 at 1:26 pm #

It’s something like a 25,000 mile trip around the world to put all the pieces in place.

That’s a bunch of energy. I don’t think wind turbines and solar panels will do the trick.

          A few bullet points:

1.) 75% of the World’s neon supply is consumed by semiconductor manufacturing.

2.) Ukraine is responsible for exporting around 50% of the world’s neon supply

3.) Japanese and Chinese suppliers represent the vast majority of the remaining 50% of worldwide neon gas production.

4.) Ukraine’s neon output also accounts for 90% of US imports of the noble gas.

5.). Russia’s Moscow State Technical University has opened a significant production facility creating pure neon gas, filling a global shortage of inert gases and providing Moscow with partial control of, and significant export potential for export volumes.

          6.) Check

          7.) and . . . Checkmate.

          • Paula D January 28, 2023 at 11:06 am #

What is our neon doing over there in those countries?

            Bomb bomb bomb them.

          • Ron Anselmo January 28, 2023 at 11:15 am #

Yes, we need neon for signs at our strip joints – tell them to send dancers!

        • cbeard January 27, 2023 at 3:18 pm #

A perfect example of why we need to bring manufacturing, including semi conductors, chips, etc. back to the states. Russia is probably more self sufficient than other countries and probably won’t be hurt nearly as much as the U.S. in a depression.

Tulsi and Tucker addressed that very issue, and addressed it magnificently IMO. I should say Tucker did. This is exactly what led me into seeing that a loudmouth from Queens had another side to him.

So what DO Americans think about warring with Russia you ask? Well I don’t think that most of them think about the idea, or that they think about anything that ” they can’t do anything about anyway”, which I heard over and over from damned near everyone. Most people don’t care if NATO and/or America declare a real war on Russia not only because they cannot do anything about anything anyway, but they are not going to have to fight in it, or so they think. Why they are willing to send their sons, daughters and used to be sons or daughters to fight and die for them instead only makes sense when you consider that far too many of the parents never really gave a shit about anyone but themselves anyway.

I don’t know what we will get in the end of this clusterfuck, but I can assure you that whatever t is, we deserve it.

    • SW January 27, 2023 at 10:44 am #

I think this indifferent response (“we can’t do anything about it anyway”) is grounded in the fantasy that a war with Russia won’t really disrupt their personal lives. More than one friend/relative has said to me THEIR son or daughter won’t be sent to war! and when I ask exactly whose will? the response is “we have an all volunteer army and they want to go.”

Gone is the threat of the draft and with it all thoughts about our own responsibility and a willingness to ignore the consequences to the soldiers we pretend to care about. There’s a lot of lip service about “honoring our heroes” but no one’s rushing to be one themselves.

What proxy war has gone well? Not one. Vietnam, Iraq, Syria, Libya, and now Ukraine. The Ukrainian people have suffered too much for no reason and it has to stop soon — I pray.

That reminds me, when there was some kind of anniversary or other of the Viet Nam War, I happened to look at the New York Times and an awful lot of the commentary, by people old enough that they know better, was all Nixon Nixon Nixon.

Nixon made the draft a more egalitarian lottery system. Boy did the ‘elites’ hate him for that.

        • SW January 27, 2023 at 11:22 am #

The draft system Nixon came up with was fair and only the people at the very top could get their kids exemptions, like Bush did for Shrub in the National Guard unit. But the crafty ones figured a way out too — Clinton, Cheney. But no one is bothered by this corruption anymore.

Last year when my great-nephew turned 17 I advised him to register immeidately, now, as a conscientious objector.

Because if/when the s— hits the fan it will be too late.

I don’t expect that he took my advice seriously but I will mention it again as soon as I see him.

          • Ron Anselmo January 27, 2023 at 11:38 pm #

A simpler solution: Not you, but your nephew or niece, can place a lien on their son, for all their expense in raising him, from birth to emancipation – the money he “owes” them.

Conservatively 18 years @ $10K, so $180,000. When the government comes for him, and realizes they have to satisfy the lien, they’ll move right along to the next “free” conscript.

      • farmgal January 27, 2023 at 11:37 am #

OMG I can only the pure outrage from the snowflake nation should a draft be reinstituted. No more mid-morning latte breaks, no more lunches at Chipotle. It doesn’t even bear thinking about.

My grandson is 17 and he’s a good kid, as conservative as his brain can understand at that age. But, he is pretty spoiled. Drives to 20 miles to Georgia Tech twice a week for dive practice, goes to the gym every afternoon, partakes of multiple supplements and makes his own breakfast wraps. It takes all of his energy to get the garbage to the street once a week much less shouldering a rifle and ducking behind trees and he’s one of the good ones.

        • SW January 27, 2023 at 12:35 pm #

Farmgal — my smart, good-looking, sweet 18 year old grandson sounds like yours. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body and has been spoiled by all who love him. We haven’t raised a generation of young men who are tough –they have good hearts and good intentions — and I can’t imagine how he and his friends (who are just like him) would be able to deal with real depravation or war.

          • Lyndy33 January 27, 2023 at 2:33 pm #

If you want to imagine how your grandsons would respond, watch “Full Metal Jacket” and some other Vietnam war movies. These were kids sent to a war they knew nothing about and watched their friends being shot right next to them. Sickening. Read “The Things They Carried” and other works from that war. Is it little wonder so many of them are AFU now. I was older (34) when I went there and flew as a Forward Air Controller (FAC ’67-’68). I heard their cries for help. I have blamed our government for Johnson’s War ever since.

        • Jarek January 27, 2023 at 12:44 pm #

Yes, every young person should have to do a year or two of service, military for the young men. Some of the training could be working in the fields of course.

          • SW January 27, 2023 at 12:51 pm #

I agree but no politician would ever introduce that bill b/c it would end his career. We made a mistake disbanding the draft even and though I don’t want to see any young men and women go to war, it’s allowed the middle and upper classes to distance themselves from the consequences of US policy.

          • Woodchuck January 28, 2023 at 9:55 am #

In the old European feudal system, princes started military training as young as 6 years old. They sometimes got tossed into military boarding schools later on as young teens. Thrown in there and probably even hazed by young barons their own age as they learned how to fight. Most princes graduated from military school as lieutenants, and they were expected to serve. One typical example is Crown Prince Rupprecht from the house of Wittelsbach. He retired from the military holding the rank of Field Marshall, and during WWI he was commanding general of the German 6th army. He did very well and left the field as a war hero. Princes were expected to be on battlefields. Unlike people such as the Bidens, they were not to be spending time hanging around in palaces wearing pink slippers, snorting coke, and chasing underage ladies. That’s how kingdoms got lost in the old days.

          • farmgal January 28, 2023 at 12:16 pm #

@Jarek – totally agree. Many young people have no idea what they want to do with their life when they graduate from high school. A year or two would bridge the gap between leaving home and making your way in the world. Not to mention learning to work as a team and have consideration for someone other than yourself.

    • Paula D January 27, 2023 at 11:41 am #

Most Americans have been convinced that the US “only kills brown people”.

I bring up the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Civil War, WW1, WW2 and Yugoslavia, and it doesn’t change their fast conviction that the US would never hurt white people.

And almost a year now of the US backing white vs white in Ukraine does not change their beliefs, so they are convinced that we would not go to war with Russia. Also, they support sending tanks to kill Russians. No cognitive dissonance there, because you have to have cognition to have dissonance.

It’s actually amazing how our overlords can install beliefs in people that are resistant to facts.

      Teflon brains.

      • Jarek January 27, 2023 at 12:47 pm #

Yes, the US is officially anti-White and Whites have been ruthlessly discriminated against now for generations a la affirmative action. It’s a stupid as thinking that Russia and China are still Communist when the first is now Fascist (Russia First) and the second, National Socialist (Glory to the Chinese people and the State that serves them).

        • draupnir January 27, 2023 at 1:42 pm #

Dopn’t you mean glory to the state and the people who serve it?

          • Jarek January 27, 2023 at 2:29 pm #

No. Read your constitution: the State is supposed to serve the People.

In China, the Emperor is supposed to be a Father to his people. Fathers serve their children. Emperors who forget that, are bad emperors. Xi looks like a bad one who in on boards with maniacs of Davos.

The Chinese think very highly of themselves, you see. Communism couldn’t eradicate that racial trait. Communism tends to become something else because it doesn’t accord with human nature. In Russia, it’s now Fascism. North Korea, Monarchy. And China, National Socialism.

      • TaxDonkey January 27, 2023 at 12:58 pm #

      Walter,

We grew up in an environment where we trusted the government to do what was best for us and our country. Do those who still believe the government deserve what they get? Is it that simple?

      • Cankerpuss January 27, 2023 at 12:44 pm #

That’s the problem. We were never supposed to “trust” the Government. The biggest error was made when the people permitted the public service of their representatives to become a career. None of these leaches in our Government will ever do anything to vote themselves out of a job or a career.

        • Islander January 27, 2023 at 1:22 pm #

” We were never supposed to “trust” the Government. The biggest error was made when the people permitted the public service of their representatives to become a career.”

          Exactimundo.

Holding office as an elected representative in a legisature–local or national—should never have become a career.

I’m not so sure about executive offices, such as president and governore.

Remember, the function of the exectuve branch of government is to execute the laws passed by legislatures.

Our legislatures have totally forgotten what their function and what their powers are.
They have been completely captured and have become an entrenched lobby for themselves. They also receive far too many percs both while in office and afterwards.

Given this perc landscape, it’s no wonder the leeches hang on for dear life, give the Israel lobby whatever they want, and spare a side glance at the public in an election year.

        Elysian,

When you are 20, no, you are forgiven for trusting your government. When you are 40? Yeah, sorry, you are a dope for not having figured out that what your government says and does are two different things. And yeah, you deserve what you get.

        • elysianfield January 27, 2023 at 8:43 pm #

          Mrs,
Well, in my 40’s Ronald Reagan was President, and I trusted him, I was of the opinion that he was trying to do what was right for the country and it’s citizens. I was then in my 40’s, and that was the level of trust I had in the government. Did my trust extend to doing/saying? No, two different things entirely, as I did not expect the government to tell the truth on all issues…still don’t.

Now, however, I do not believe that the government has the best interests of its citizens, or the country as a goal…Or possibly they do, under some utopian program that, supposedly in the long run, would be beneficial, when the omelet is made, and many eggs are broken.

I trust that the government is not entirely evil. I trust that many, many of those in government are human, and that they may even think they are doing what is best for humanity.

I think they are wrong in their current approach…but they stopped asking me my opinion since…forever.

You know Walter was a believer…He attended West Point. At some juncture he experienced and saw things that soured him on the system. I, myself, believed in integration in the 60’s, until I saw things that soured me on the concept. You might suggest that those you think deserving of punishment were never in the position to see a basic truth…were denied the opportunity.

At my advanced age, I try not to be too judgmental.

    • Cankerpuss January 27, 2023 at 12:42 pm #

Walter, you are right, we do deserve it. Americans by and large have become fat, lazy, stupid, decadent, selfish, greedy, envious, prideful and arrogant. Arrogance and stupidity are a very dangerous combination.

I no longer speak of politics, covid, vaccines, etc with my extended family because all of them are brainwashed from the nightly news they continue to watch. All it does is result in frustration, anger and useless bickering. All I do now is just try to keep my head down and prepare the best way possible for what is coming.

We’ve been blessed as a people for far too long. We no longer remember what it means to sacrifice for something or to go without. Hence the reason everyone has all the time in the world to worry about what gender they identify with on that day, their genitals or where their next orgasm will come from, reality TV shows, the NFL and NBA, climate change, cow farts and other lunacy. A society that has to focus on where their next meal is coming from doesn’t have time to focus on their gender or their genitals or CO2 levels.

A collapse in our standard of living will be painful but it will also bring about necessary change to purge the rot from our society and reinforce within us what truly matters in our lives. Since we won’t correct those deficiencies in our lives on our own, God will and is.

I do not and have never believed that my God is a vengeful and angry God, despite what Martin Luther (who I respect) may have said. I saw an interesting quote the other day and although it pertained to Nature, I believe that is can be applied to the Almighty:

“In nature there are no rewards, no punishments. There are only consequences”.

Anyone who believes in Adam and Seve MUST understand and also believe that children have always, and will always suffer the consequences of the choices, of the actions of their parents. And on down the line those consequences shall continue.

        • Cankerpuss January 27, 2023 at 3:31 pm #

I too do not believe God to be vengeful and full of anger as I could not have faith in such a deity. However, I do believe that God cannot tolerate in any instance the depravity of sin that we as mortal men often engage in. The violation of God’s laws brings punishment enough. Being free to choose means we must be made to experience the consequences of such choices. This is judgment.

          Best,
          CP

          • Anthea January 28, 2023 at 1:51 am #

“Vengeful” and “angry” are probably not the right words–not the precise words–but evil inflicts terrible suffering on real people. Who, as a human, would not feel anger and a desire for vengeance, if we saw people who are dear to us raped, murdered, sexually abused, starved, and deprived of their human rights and dignity?

“Whatsoever ye have done unto the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”

Yet we see that God rarely strikes anyone with a thunderbolt. Not even international bankers or Dr. Fauci. In the Fatima prayer, we say, “And lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of thy mercy.”

That would presumably come about through the action of natural consequences. Emerson called cause-and-effect “the chancellors of God.” But it also presumably comes about (or can come about) through the prayers of the faithful and through sacrifices (personal sufferings) offered up for the conversion of sinners.

But scripture does indicate that God eventually runs out of patience–or that some people are obdurate in choosing evil over good. Choosing evil is the same thing as choosing hell, and hell is said to be self-chosen–a self-chosen rejection of all that is good. Where else would you go but to hell?

Setting: In 2012 — 11 years ago, long before Covid, Ukraine and dystopic issues now confronting those not braindead.

When Hurricane Sandy hit NY/NJ at that time, the primary concern of nearly the entire populace after the storm had passed was . . .

        1.) Fresh water? NO

        2.) Food? NO

3.) Fuel for heating, cooking or generators? NO

Short-term memory impediment? Enforced amnesia (from the drugs and poor nutrition)? Need to obey and follow the narrative, no matter the cost?

I am perplexed. Perhaps the mutation has bit so deeply that what is quaintly known as “straight thinking” is as obsolete as Madame Blavatsky.

Europeans certainly have an active memory, individually and collectively. Chinese, Japanese and Koreans nurse ancient grudges in a way we find inexplicable.

But folks at home in the good ole good ole just do not appear to be able to activate that faculty, even for their own benefit. Mosquito memory. TV the villain? Social media? Or simply the analogue?

What a tough time to be a teacher. An honest one, anyway.

      • Islander January 27, 2023 at 1:27 pm #

Actually, quite a few of those who emigrated to the USA turned around and went back to Europe.

        httpX://news.stanford.edu/2017/09/12/returning-home-age-mass-migration/

“About 30 million Europeans immigrated during the period, which scholars call the Age of Mass Migration, as America maintained open, largely unrestricted borders for European migrants until about 1914. By 1910, 22 percent of the country’s labor force was foreign-born, compared to 17 percent of today’s working population.

The same period also saw a high rate of return migration. One in three immigrants returned to their home country. . . .”

One regular here thought we needed more individualism – as in everyone getting to do their own thing. Such “freedom” leads quickly to slavery. And the doers of their own thing are amazingly the same in any case.

Individualism can only exist in the context of duty and the protection of of our Western social norms. Otherwise we’ll simply be swept away by the collectivist incomers who are far more devoted to their social norms at this point.

Assimilate to our new social norms? To our degeneracy? We’re asking them to do that? It is to laugh. Some do of course, and they are simply add to the ferment.

I watched a video about 2 years ago when Putin was asked if he would ever use nukes. In a question about NATO putting missiles on the Ukraine/Russian border.

He said (from my memory),”We will use nukes when there are multiple incoming missles to our homeland (Moscow). We have no idea what is in them while in flight and will assume the worst and launch a full retaliatory response. We will die martyrs, those that launched the attack will die with their sins”

I just think the bunch in Washington are willing to see if he will be true to his words. The fact that many in NATO nod their heads in agreement when the Z says he wants regime change in Moscow.

Yes, Putin should do something “crazy” and offensive in the near future. He’s a restrained and moral man – a pussy in their book. He has to remind them otherwise. The invasion of Ukraine evidently wasn’t enough. Unbelievable but true.

      • Bilejones January 27, 2023 at 5:04 pm #

What’s been interesting in the past 6 months is to see the emergence of Medvedev as Putin’s likely successor.

He is much more in line with majority opinion among the Kremlin establishment and will take a much harder line with the filth in the West than Putin has.

It goes ‘nuclear’ when the M1 Abrams tanks being supplied by the Biden regime initiate artillery offensives utilizing depleted uranium [DU] shells as in Iraq, which will be viewed by the Russian Federation as ‘Dirty Bombs’ affecting their sovereign territory.

      • Yirgach January 27, 2023 at 4:29 pm #

There is a very good chance that long before M1 Abrams are in service there will be an incident involving US/NATO “advisors” who bomb/shell one of 4 areas which are now part of the Russian Federation.

There have been repeated warnings from high level Russian sources that there can be a nuclear response in this scenario.

The Russians have already deployed their hypersonic missiles before, now the West is just escalating the conflict until there is a final event. Note that there is no defense from hypersonic tech, it doesn’t take much to bolt a nuclear warhead on one.

It amazes me that “Joe Biden” is still pResident.

And truely grim assessments from both benr and Walter B, but both regrettably are completely consistent with my own personal experience.

Tanks are a solution? They are not only vulnerable to a great variety of anti-tank weapons, but the supply chain to keep them in the field is huge — and a soft target to boot.

If any Abrams reach Ukraine and are actually fielded to do what tanks are meant to do, they’ll all become smoking ruins. And quickly.

Tanks are for fighting the last war, not modern wars.

    • benr January 27, 2023 at 9:38 am #

Tanks can be effective if they have proper ground and air support.
There biggest problem is the fact most of them get less than one mile to the gallon and they fill up with almost 700 gallons. Run one of those big diesels out of fuel and it takes a serious work to get them started again.

      • MX Vet 57 January 27, 2023 at 9:49 am #

They’re not diesels. They’re turboshafts (jet engines). Just thought you might want to know.

        • benr January 27, 2023 at 9:57 am #

Yes, you are correct I stand corrected.
I also inflated the fuel tank by almost two hundred gallons.
The rest of what I wrote is correct.

They are obsolescent, like aircraft carriers and prestige hanger queen aircraft like the F35. We are entering a whole new type of warfare.

      • NickelthroweR January 27, 2023 at 10:43 am #

I use my VPN and Tor browser to look at videos posted from the “other side” of this conflict and you are correct.

Instead of snipers you now have drones that fly around at night and drop grenades on top of soldiers huddled in their trenches and do so with pinpoint accuracy. Instead of trying to guess what is on the other side of the hill you have drones that can be shot out of an artillery piece and then just “appear” 20 miles behind the front lines. Once active they look for wifi, Bluetooth, and other electronic signals to find a “hotspot” and once that hotspot is identified, thermobaric missiles take out the whole area.

Iran has supplied Russia with thousands of Kamakazi drones and you can watch videos of those taking out the equipment we send. Another thing the Russians like to do is post the videos that are found on the camera phones of captured and killed Americans. They seem to take great pleasure in that.

      • JohnAZ January 27, 2023 at 11:30 am #

Aircraft carriers are not obsolete. Their function for a long time is not survival of the ship. It is the launch of their air wings to do their jobs before they are sunk. In an all out war that is.

They do have tactical use today also, sending in planes to support operations.

America committed to protect the world sea lanes after WW2, and we are still at it.

        • Hereward the Woke January 27, 2023 at 12:56 pm #

Sorry, John, but hypersonic missiles say that you are mistaken on this one.

          • badberries January 27, 2023 at 1:13 pm #

Hypersonic missiles, like hypersonic torpedos are imaginary.

The only existing hypersonic anythings are those TicTacs on that pilot’s screen and they’re not really hypersonic; they’re hyper-dimensional.

I suggest a look at what Putin showed the Russians assembly in the second part of his March 2018 address. It was where he showed what was in the future. The future then is now the present. Those systems are either all online or very close to being all online.

For perspective on the particular presentation, part 1 was about education, healthcare, living conditions, care for seniors, all non-war and non-weapon material which impacted day-to-day living.

Rather thorough, found it well worth the time and quite thought provoking. Unfortunately the propaganda machine in the US spent the same time period perfecting control of the masses through media outlets.

Reality vs fantasy. We in the US/UK/NATO lands are on the fantasy side.

          • Billy Hill January 27, 2023 at 2:39 pm #

            Re imaginary hypersonics:

The attack on Lavoriv In March 2022 was reputed to have been executed with hypersonics.

There apparently was zero air defense. Compare that to today’s reports from Ukraine sources wherein they shoot down 60 or so of the 40 missiles Russia launches.

In any event the Lavoriv attack was devastating as it was a training facility for the foreign troops wanting in on the war action. They got it in spades and those who survived headed back to the border claiming “we didn’t sign up for this.” The border guards told them to go back and fight.

          • Paula D January 27, 2023 at 8:38 pm #

I heard they shot down 200 of 55, Billy.

That’s just how good they are.

Unfortunately they are now having blackouts anyway.

        • Jarek January 27, 2023 at 1:07 pm #

They are useful in the transport of planes or rather they were. Better to transport the planes on cargo vessels. Or just fly them to where they need to be. They are just sitting ducks now.

        • Billy Hill January 27, 2023 at 2:44 pm #

The problerm with aircraft carriers is the range of the fighter jets versus the range of anti-shipping missiles. They simply cannot get close enough to the action without exposing themselves. (look up the movement of the Roosevelt in the Mediterranean theatre when Russia moved their serious weaponry into Syria.)

Carriers are good for projecting power, especially to the third world.

    • elysianfield January 27, 2023 at 12:00 pm #

      MiTurn,
I read somewhere that there never has been even one Abrams destroyed by hostile action over the decades in service.

      Not one.

      Go figure.

      • Billy Hill January 27, 2023 at 2:56 pm #

That is the myth. The reality in the Gulf Wars was different. They try to sugarcoat it — if that can be said here — reporting that 7 of the 9 totally destroyed were from friendly fire, and the other two were intentionally destroyed after being put out of action. Others were damaged — total of 20 something. With all the tank hubbub of late various voices have spoken up, one in particular witnessing an Abrams done in by an IED, and crewman emerging on fire.
Maybe true. Maybe not. But the bottom line is they are not invulnerable, and the basic fact of tank warfare is they do not fight alone, they integrate with infantry and other tanks, and that requires individual and group training and The Ukraine does not have that much time. If tanks show up soon the betting is they will be manned by NATO soldiers. And that, folks, will be that. Expect then that Russia will take out the missile batteries in Romania and Poland (put there to deter the Iranians!) and very likely the training facilities and airfields in Poland and Germany. The War, which Baerbock blurted out already existed de facto and in her capacity as Foreign Minister rendered de jure, will then be underway for real.

        • Ron Anselmo January 28, 2023 at 2:07 am #

Baerbock is overconfident, based upon her muff-to-air defense system – anti-missile – if you get my drift.

    • Jarek January 27, 2023 at 1:05 pm #

Can they withstand the Russian version of a hellfire missile fired from a drone? If not, what’s the point. They are this generations version of the battleship – made pointless by medium range missiles.

Every morning the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation (MoD) gives a briefing on the “Special De-Nazification Operation” to liberate Ukraine, like they did today and revealed: “In all, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 379 Ukrainian warplanes, 204 helicopters, 2,956 unmanned aerial vehicles, 402 surface-to-air missile systems, 7,634 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 990 multiple rocket launchers, 3,921 field artillery guns and mortars and 8,180 special military motor vehicles since the start of the special military operation”.

      7,634 Ukrainian tans destroyed!

The people in this Nation have been duped by our politicians to believe war is good and if we fight them over there, then they won’t interrupt the Super Bowl over here. Since WWII, people in this Country haven’t seen any significant lifestyle change during our endless wars unless one of your loved ones became a poster child for Wounded Warriors commercials on TV.
Bring back the draft for both men and women. I’ll bet that will get their attention. It got mine back in the 60’s.

When I was young, I tried to serve; raised in the 60s & 70s, I still believed America was a force for justice in the world, even as the enigma of Vietnam rolled out of the TV every evening. I believed serving was the least we could do for our country. But a couple of medical issues kept me from the niche I wanted. Since then, I have watched our corrupt government send our young people into repeated damnable military misadventures in places that I cannot comprehend hold any national interest, and many fine wonderful kids have come home in body bags or scarred for life. Then, years later, we find out that the reasons they went in the first place are lies and only benefit a select few. I learned the story behind the USS Liberty attack, and other incidents where our people were used as cannon fodder for some secret agenda. Now I have three daughters, 26, 24, & 21. I have two sons-in-law, and by June I will have a third. Our first grandson is due in six weeks. If this bunch of self-serving, insider-trading, personal-enriching bastards tries to come for ANY of my beautiful family so they can be chopped up in some foreign shithole where we don’t belong to “protect our way of life”, they will do so over my dead body.

@brushjockey – whenever I see these Tunnel to Towers commercials on tv I become so angry. Angry at our politicians that have allowed this tragedy/travesty of war to continue all these years. Angry that these poor maimed soldiers have to live out the rest of their lives with their own personal reminder of the failure of our policies.

People need to remember that each of these politicians, judges and generals have names and addresses. See the left’s treatment of Brett Kavanaugh. Conservatives need a whole new playbook with no chapter on good manners or fair play.

      quoting Mr. Orlov again:

“Also, the US is not a normal country: it is a country that is permanently at war with much of the rest of the planet. A mere 6% of its rather short 250-year history were spent at peace; the rest of the time it was prosecuting a war of some sort, mostly on someone else’s territory and hardly ever in self-defense but mostly to secure its rights of rapine and plunder. Its 15 years of peacetime were spread piecemeal across its history: it had two years of it in 1796-7; three more in 1807-10; four more in 1826-30; it was at peace in 1897 and then for a whole five years from 1935 to 1940. The rest of the time the US was involved in military actions of one sort of another—what Americans like to call “kinetic” actions, not economic or cultural or informational or hybrid warfare—that sort of thing went on without any interruption whatsoever.”

@mr. jones – and therein lies the problem. There’s still time for those “fun activities”, although I consider range practice mandatory as well as fun. We are all too comfortable and comfort breeds complacency. Most of us here at CFN would sign up tomorrow if there was a credible plan of action to put things aright. But, as you say, the possibilities for that are slim and none and Slim just left town!

@ farmgal – I agree. Take away the necessities and most people who have less that a week’s worth of food – myself included – will resort to whatever it takes to eat. Those with provisions won’t have time to worry about the gummint, they will be too busy trying to guard their larder from interlopers who are surprised their EBT cards no longer work.

Getting the nukes flying is the quickest way to accomplish that scenario. • Woodchuck January 27, 2023 at 12:40 pm #

The only option is right in front of all of us, but we’re still much too collectively chickenshit to try it. It’s called “secession”. And after it happens, and it will happen, we’ll have new states and new confederations of states, along with a *lot* of new struggles, including serious poverty during the rebuilding process. But along with that we might at least have the blessing of freedom that makes it all worthwhile. This new era will be something our host calls “the long emergency”. I’m guessing most of us won’t like it.

        • Anthea January 28, 2023 at 3:31 am #

There are huge problems with secession, one of which is that about half the people in this country are dependent on the government, at one level or another, for their income. Another problem is that most of the real estate in this country is, for all practical purposes, owned by the banks. So you can probably see where I’m going with that.

I think that a seceding state would have to tell all the big banks holding all the mortgages in said state to either sell the note to a community bank for pennies on the dollar, or sell the property to the mortgagor for pennies on the dollar. Such an action would probably lead to war.

On the other hand, if secession could be managed bloodlessly, and a just and free economy (with sound money) put in place, I think the outcome would be amazing productivity, initiative, creativity, and wealth production. Because that’s what happens in a free economy.

One policy that you’d have to put in place to accomplish this would be to provide at least a few acres of land to everyone, or at least every family. Many states probably have enough state-owned or federally-owned land to give every family 40 acres and a mule. I also suspect that ending agricultural subsidies would bankrupt Big Ag–plus a lot of “farmers” who don’t farm at all, but just collect subsidies and/or rent out their land–and the result would be that there would be a lot of land for sale cheap.

I think we need around 50% of the population to be family farmers.

It would be very difficult to accomplish all this, but if it could be done, such a seceding state would be very prosperous, very quickly.

          • Paula D January 28, 2023 at 6:58 pm #

            Spoken like a true midwesterner.

Get out west and 40 acres might be enough for a mule, but it certainly won’t keep a family alive.

And in the Great Mojave Desert that covers a lot of the southwest not even a mule can find enough to graze.

          • Paula D January 28, 2023 at 7:04 pm #

I looked up the Mojave desert to find its size and found out that it is smaller by far than the Great Basin desert. I must have mixed them up in my mind.

Mojave desert is 54,000 square miles, but the Great Basin desert is 200,000 square miles.

            They are not farm country.

          • Woodchuck January 28, 2023 at 8:26 pm #

Imagine your state seceding and everyone discovers there is no more federal income tax to pay. The US federal government is heading quickly into terminal bankruptcy. The point will arrive when the dollar becomes so unstable that foreign oil producers will refuse to sell the USA oil for dollars. The US will be forced to find something else of value to trade for oil. If we don’t have anything that any other countries want, then we’ll be forced to make do on our domestic supply. This will result in the loss of transportation fuels, the end of the automobile culture, and in mass mental illness and social chaos. In that environment, there won’t be much of anything left to lose by secession. It will be understood everywhere that the US federal government is run by people who are not only completely incompetent, but completely mentally ill. The nation will consist of the blind leading the blind, and the destination is the ditch.

    • Cankerpuss January 27, 2023 at 12:54 pm #

Americans have become, by and large, a warmongering people supporting many wars we as a nation have no business being involved in all in the name of spreading “democracy.” Fortunately, we are bankrupt. The money is gone. The proverbial “pie” has been eaten. We have blown our strength and means warring in foreign lands for far too long. There aren’t even any crumbs left to fight over. As our nation’s eminent bankruptcy continues to grow we will see the American empire contract, foreign military bases close and the troops come home. As the bankruptcy grows public benefits and doles, out of necessity, will be eliminated and many illegal immigrants, once the pie is gone, will return to their own homes. We native born Americans will then be left to re-start a refreshed system from a clean slate.

The future is bright in my opinion. Our Government won’t solve the problems. Our problems are being solved by natural law.

These networks have been in continuous operation for 60 to 70 years at least, some many years longer – they are and have been entrenched.

By necessity, they operate in the shadows. Many assume incorrectly that they operate in the big cities only. Not so, the cancer is rural too. Bet you’ve seen your fair share of 1%’er Bikers in the Ozarks.

When things get dicey – there will be no interruption in business for any of them – it will only strengthen their hand. Their command structures will get some rearranging – new bosses, new captains, new lieutenants, new areas of operation.

When white bread America puts their collective head on their pillows at 11:00pm (not you) and goes soundly to sleep, they have no idea what goes on and what awaits in the darkness – the underbelly of our society.

The “Northerners” are allied with the Blacks – who will always be our enemies. Something could and should have been done about removing them as Jefferson said. But nope! The Enemy has much longer time horizon than we do. They knew the Blacks would come in handy.

I agree….we have become a people for whom war is a TV event that happens “over there, somewhere” and we have no concept of what it is truly like to be on the receiving end of all of that destruction and death. We watch war like we watch sports. I do think some of those things may be coming before long, and I agree that it could be an opportunity for people to refocus and re-prioritize their lives. It will not be an easy process; desperate people can do horrible things to one another. My concern is that, rather than leaving the survivors alone to rebuild as they can, those in power who benefit from the current system will prefer to destroy everything on the way down rather than leave anything useful behind. “If I can’t have it, no one can!”

The Federal government can do nothing to stop the coming collapse. We will need to develop some forms of eco-villages. Does anyone know of any attempts here in New England?

    • JohnAZ January 27, 2023 at 11:21 am #

You have discovered something for yourself.

The Deep State has fought for decades to make the people dependent on the government.

      There is no “We”.

    • Rowdypiglet January 27, 2023 at 11:52 am #

@jlmartin, I don’t think any villages of that kind exist in New England, and I don’t think they will until the need becomes apparent – after which it may be too late.

But I’m not entirely without optimism, because in my little part of NE, the needful elements are here. We even make some electricity locally, there’s a lot of farmland, we still have cows and goats down the street.

We also have quite a few people with real skills, the problem being that most of them are getting on in years. There aren’t many young men in the prime of life around here, and those who are here have no skills nor any desire to work. It’s nearly impossible, for instance, to replace firefighters as they retire. Young men consider themselves part of online communities, not the ones in which they physically live. New England could really use an infusion of young men with families. Houses, especially in the rural areas, are practically free if you’re able to do some work on them.

      • badberries January 27, 2023 at 1:23 pm #

A year ago, the “Village” put up a billboard.

        “Firefighters Needed, apply at Village-hall”.

        It’s still up.

      • Jarek January 27, 2023 at 1:32 pm #

You need non-White immigrants to do all that! And the young Whites you mention will become their slaves. Metaphorical? Well yes, but maybe quite literally. In any case, the young White women will marry the immigrants.

        Thus does America die.

    • Tucker January 27, 2023 at 11:55 am #

They dont exist to the extent that would be profitable to build, successful, and actually work and get large numbers of conservatives to buy and move to.

      • Rowdypiglet January 27, 2023 at 1:21 pm #

Then again, something calling itself an eco-village would likely attract refugees escaping California, and would be anathema to locals. It just doesn’t work that way here.

Long before the political divisions were so extreme, we did have a steady (but small) influx of people “from away” who had a dream of living here, accompanied by total ignorance of both the place and the people. They were often found trying to operate a bed and breakfast, or open a restaurant with fusion cuisine – little blobs of avocado on a large, empty, square plate. It would typically take them two years to run through the money they brought with them, after which they’d return to their point of origin no wiser but considerably poorer.

        • Lyndy33 January 27, 2023 at 4:01 pm #

There are a lot of places that are just uninhabitable after a collapse. The area from Lake Tahoe to the Pine Nut mountains in Nevada supported about 3000 Indians mostly along the Truckee River and Pyramid Lake prior to white man’s arrival. Now there are over 1,500,000 people in the same area. Nothing of significance grows there without tremendous supporting elements.

Same with the desert called Las Vegas.

          • Anthea January 28, 2023 at 12:31 pm #

            @ Lyndy33:

You should read Mark Twain’s “Roughing It,” for his assessment of that bunch of Indians. Twain admitted to a tendency to romanticize Native Americans, until he encountered them in real life in the Tahoe area.

          • Anthea January 28, 2023 at 12:36 pm #

Twain describes them as being always at the edge of starvation, even with their very low population.

      • Anthea January 28, 2023 at 12:28 pm #

I think that communities like that only work where there are certain specific factors involved: 1. They need to be agricultural, with every family owning a farm. 2. They need to have a strong shared religious basis. 3. They need to be firmly opposed to adopting almost all modern conveniences, like electricity, running water, refrigeration, telephones, cars, TV, etc. (These are the things that make you dependent of Big Multi-National Conglomerated, Inc., and the government–though there’s actually a lot of variation when it comes to allowing this stuff, especially for work or business purposes.)

In short, “Nothing succeeds like success.” Look at who’s successful, long term, and see how they do it.

American “conservatives” will have a hard time letting go of the desire for worldly “success” on our overlords’ terms. They don’t want to be deprived of their toys and conveniences, and are not willing sacrifice. Also, they are probably unwilling to have a strong community religious life. I can’t see them stopping what they’re doing three times a day to pray the Angelus when the bells ring.

White New Hampshire is slated to become majority Hispanic in a few decades. There are huge Hispanic populations in the old mill cities of northeastern MA, places like Lowell and Laurence. They will move northwards.

They cause some political punk campaigning in Spanish there some years ago. Way ahead of the curve.

Meanwhile, southeastern Maine is a extension of Boston, with Portland declared hideously White by a local artist some years ago. He was made to apologize but no matter. He was just expressing the opinion of city’s elite. They changed that with mass Somali immigration. Now the city is dangerous and Whites are fleeing. Problem solved!

    • WadeWaters January 27, 2023 at 2:56 pm #

Chris Martenson is in central Massachusetts. He would know about New England.

    • Anthea January 28, 2023 at 11:58 am #

      @ jlmartin:

The only people I know of who are doing anything like that are the Intentional Communities. There are a bunch of them all over the US, some large and some small. The residents/members tend to be “woke” types and mostly young people. TBH, I had the impression that some of them were kids in their 20s from well-to-do (or wealthy) families, who decided to get “back to the earth” as an excuse for not getting a job–though that IC was in Virginia, which is infested with such people.

The Virginia IC is call Twin Oaks, and it’s a big, successful one. They have a long probationary period to become a member, and lots of rules.

There are a couple of ICs in Missouri. The one in southern Missouri is called East Wind, and it has a nut butter factory. They sell nut butters to health food stores, and residents are required to work in the factory for a certain number of hours a week. My impression of East Wind is that everyone there is stoned all the time.

The one in northern Missouri is called The Possibilities Alliance. They are near LaPlata, Missouri, south of Kirksville. The last time I had any contact with them, they were some serious workaholics, expecting members to be very serious about building a community, with long workdays. I liked Ethan and Sarah, who started the community maybe 15-20 years ago and went through a lot of adversity in the process. They are kind of “lefty,” and had lived in a community in France and very much admired French socialism. I’ve haven’t had any contact with them for many years, but I’ll bet they’re over it.

The reason I know so much about this is that one of my daughters lived in several ICs and was one of the garden managers at Twin Oaks for awhile. She has always said that none of the ICs are really fully self-sufficient.

I think the main problem with IC’s viability is that the members do not own their own land. I think if you want a successful community, every family needs to own their own farm, as with the Amish.

No ownership means no real commitment.

I know a couple of people locally who have kind of toyed with the idea of starting a community.

Now that I think of it, there is such a community in this area, and they are successful. It’s a religious community that’s been in the area for about 30 years. I also know that there are, not only Amish, but Amish-type communities in this area (like old German Baptists or something). The reason I know about them is because they are vendors at farmers’ markets.

Starting something like that would be a huge, difficult, expensive project. I honestly think the best approach for most people is to starting living the self-sufficient lifestyle, yourself, to the best of your ability, and network with like-minded people.

It’s hard to know what’s really going on in Ukraine because of western media fealty, but some things are for certain.

    1. Russia has a plan and they are, by and large, sticking to it.
    2. NATO does not have a plan, unless funneling ever more weapons to Ukraine to be incapacitated by Russia can be considered a plan.
    3. There’s no way for NATO to prevail. Most member countries are bankrupt and as time goes on will be dealing with more and more civil unrest at home.
    4. Putin knows this, and so he also knows that time is on his side. Thank God we’re dealing with him and not someone who would have no qualms about turning not only Kyiv, but the entire world, into an ashtray.

Victoria Nuland, Haircut, FJB, Her, Obammy and everyone else whose fingerprints are on this should hang for crimes against humanity. Maybe they will still. One can hope.

Not even Grenada, which probably could have been done on the cheap.

Putin, like Trump, noticed that the countries of NATO would not even contribute a measly 2% of their budgets to defense. Russia laughs at European NATO.

But Russia knew that NATO was a threat to Russia. That is what this SMO is about, you know.

        • SW January 27, 2023 at 12:25 pm #

Russia had no problem understanding the US was using NATO to encircle them. Until Ukraine they couldn’t do much to stop them but the Russia NATO is facing now is no longer weak.

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock stated that Western allies are fighting a war against Russia at a PACE meeting this week.

“If we add this to Merkel’s revelations that they were strengthening Ukraine and did not count on the Minsk agreements, then we are talking about a war against Russia that was planned in advance. Don’t say later that we didn’t warn you,” was the response from Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.

They will probably feel that they have to turn to Newsom, anticipating his having to run vs DeSantis, but anyone comparing the current condition of California and of Florida should regard that as a tough sell.

The stark contrast particularly illuminates bad vs good policy regarding Covid and immigration.

A Newsom vs. DeSantis ticket would literally be a fight for the morals of our country, a contest of good versus evil. It would harken in the end times and lead to a scenario where the world turns to something straight out of The Stand.

    • JohnAZ January 27, 2023 at 11:13 am #

Because the entire media shut them down!!! How many anti-vaxx stories or “fact checks” have you seen anywhere? The MD block that initially sent out warnings about the inflammation characteristics of the Vaxx were ridiculed into near silence.

    • Beryl of Oyl January 27, 2023 at 11:15 am #

“They knew”. It was known that the so-called vaccine was not going to keep anyone from getting covid or from passing it along, before the shots were made available to the public, but the entirety of the legacy media and all of the ‘pundits’ (looking at you, Dershowitz and Rivera) screamed about the people who would not get the vaxx anyway.

I tried to reach my state assemblyman several times, to maybe inform him of this little tidbit, as these people were actually voting and making laws in total ignorance, but during a state of emergency where nobody in government was bothering to go to work, they somehow didn’t have time to pick up the phone and speak with the people they are supposed to represent.

“You didn’t try hard enough to warn us” reminds me of the first rule of misogyny, rampant around here at CFN, which is that women are responsible for everything men do.

Same principle. The “victim” takes no responsibility for their own actions but rather scapegoats it onto another group and then lies (gaslights) them telling them it’s their fault.

This is the practice of narcissists everywhere. Same pattern.

Now you’re lying, Mary. You lack integrity. Even on an anonymous forum. Imagine how bad you must be in “real” life.

          • Anthea January 29, 2023 at 8:28 pm #

Things happen to Jarek that don’t happen to anyone else.

I don’t recall getting “enraged” when men stared at me, when I was younger–though I was often pretty irritated by men accosting me on the street, or in one case, actually grabbing my arm when I was crossing the street. There was even one instance where a guy came up to me on the street and grabbed my boobs. (What you’re wearing makes no difference in such cases. I have never gone in for revealing street wear.)

Thing is, men staring a women is just bad manners.

The only time I was made angry by this was when it was a man staring at one of my young daughters, which happened a couple of times (that I know of) when they were 13 or 14, and in one of those cases was the husband of a female friend. We were in the produce section of the town grocery store. His wife, who had wandered away for a moment and was not on hand to keep an eye on him, immediately swooped in and introduced us to him. Her hurried manner made me suspect that she knew she shouldn’t leave the guy unattended in public, and that he was in the habit of checking out acquaintances’ teenage daughters, if he was left unsupervised.

Perhaps Jarek should hang around schoolyards and take pictures of girls, so he can jerk off at home.

“When she gets up in the morning
It’s enough to wake the dead
Oh she turning on the radio
            And dancing on my head
It’s no good living in the sun
            Playing guitar all day
            Boogalooing with my friends
            In that erotic way

            [Chorus]
            Come on, Jamaica
            In Jamaica all day
            Dancing with your darling
            Do Jamaica jerk-off that way
            Come on, Jamaica
            Everybody say
            We’re all happy in Jamaica
            Do Jamaica jerk-off that way

Let the ladies and the gentlemen
Be as rude as they like
On the beaches, oh in the jungle
            Where the people feel alright
            So do it in Jamaica
Got plenty for you and me
            Honky tonking with my baby
            In that deep blue sea

            Come on, Jamaica
            In Jamaica all day
            Dancing with your darling
            Do Jamaica jerk-off that way
            Come on, Jamaica

No amount of proof will matter if the prosecutors refuse to prosecute.

        • SW January 27, 2023 at 12:12 pm #

That’s an excellent point. Another is, if the trials take place in DC or the immediate area, no amount of proof will get a jury to convict a Democrat or one of their operatives. No matter what they did it would be framed as “stopping Trump!” or defending “an assault on our democracy!” or, if all else fails, Russia, Russia, Russia.

        • ViceGrip January 27, 2023 at 4:04 pm #

Prosecutorial discretition does NOT apply to the investigative phase, but, only to the trial phase.

Any prosecutor in any jurisdiction who willfully obstructs the investigation of crime wherein there is an abundance of Evidentiary Materials of Record is in violation of his or her Oath of Office and allegedly guilty of Prosecutorial Misconduct.

So JHK it was it was all that big bad John Kerry’s fault, huh & his bad haircut, when he decided — for his own personal reasons mind you — to overthrow Ukraine’s government in 2014?

They were talking about her admitting (almost) that the US blew up the Nordstream pipelines, not about the 2014 coup. She was clearly involved in both atrocities.

Nuland is a force for evil and has been since Ol’ Givemetheheartsofteenagers Cheney dragged her from the pits of Hell and gave her a job in the State Dept decades ago.

The fact that she is still in power should show Americans the kind of people who run this place.

Democrats need an enemy to promote their government first policies, and I will include the Deep State RINOs like Lindsey Graham, in that statement.

    The MIC.

The enemy is Russia, Russia, Russia and has been since the 40s, but especially since 1991 when the reasons for Russia-hate took a giant step back.

America’s number one enemy is not Russia or even China. It is the DeepState progressively steal the people’s power away from us. It has been accelerated by Obama’s give everything away, I hate America policies and really accelerated by the globalist Mob’s leadership of the Biden local Mob.

Crime is eating this country’s lunch, period. The American people are behind it all too. Demographics have made the US onto a Leftist crime ridden country as the “people” actually favor most of the drug infested miasma the country has become.

IMO, the death knells are ringing. The Deep State, the unbelievably corrupted crime family it has become, has been very successful in converting the people of America into an immoral, crime tolerant, gimme, lazy, drug addled population that the rest of the world is going to blow by with out breaking into a sweat.

    Starting with Ukraine.

We actually are turning into Watter’s World with the dumb asses of his man on the street becoming Joe Average.

    We are in deep shit!!!!

    • Beryl of Oyl January 27, 2023 at 11:32 am #

The MIC gets paid for all those tanks, no matter what happens.

Zelensky was even promoting the tanks as a win-win, because American business would make money off them.

Lindsey Graham was instrumental in keeping Trump from fulfilling his promise of a border wall.

You can’t interdict all the drugs coming across a wide open border, but with crossings only at legal ports of entry, you can at least try, and the Deep State doesn’t want to stop the flow of drugs.

      • Paula D January 27, 2023 at 11:53 am #

San Diego Costco no eggs they had a full two pallets per store last weekend.

            The food pyramid is inverted.

These days, fish, beef, poultry, and eggs are at the bottom, where bread used to be. You should be eating mostly animal-based proteins.

Second level is cheese, dairy, etc.

Then comes veggies and some fruits.

Sweet fruits like berries are all the way at the top.

If you eat this way, you will lose any excess fat, even if you do very little exercise.

The traditional food pyramid is another massive lie fed to us by modern medicine, which has the aim of keeping people sick and treating symptoms until death.

Try a Keto-type diet. You will be amazed.

While Baerbock’s words were largely ignored in mainstream media, a number of pundits on social media noted with alarm that the German foreign minister just essentially declared war on Russia.”

I read an analogy recently that Americans and Europeans really should think about:

If you gave your neighbor guns, ammunition and your full support to go across the street and attack other neighbors, you would be guilty as an accessory to a crime. Not to mention, if you’d goaded your across the street neighbors to attacking first for the sake of optics.

Watching the news, you’d never believe that’s exactly what we’re doing but pretending we’re only responding to aggression and heroically helping a weak, noble country while their citizens are slaughtered. Jeffery Sachs has tried to tell the truth about the Ukrainian war (and the history leading up to it) and he’s been silenced and ignored.

        • Paula D January 27, 2023 at 5:03 pm #

It’s really amazing that Americans can live through war after war after war, complete with lying propaganda every single time, and then fall for it every single time when the war drum propaganda starts up again.

The weasely Dems who support all this insanity are sending me texts begging for votes and donations so they can send more useless old military equipment to Ukraine.

In particular, Adam Schiff, the pencil-necked psychopath, has texted me 5 or 6 times. Of course it’s his robo-texter or whatever. In any case, he first sent one whining about McCarthy and what he is going to do to the country. The rest of them are fearmongering about Republicans and asking for $$$ for Dems to “fight the good fight.” I can’t believe this shit still works on some people.

Great overview of the Ukraine fiasco today, James, thank you.

    • Beryl of Oyl January 27, 2023 at 11:39 am #

It was excellent, and I must say it dovetails with what little I have seen from rational people writing about this, who are neither in on the grift in some way, biased, or easily propagandized.

I heard what McCarthy said about removing Schiff, and it surprised me because I did not think McCarthy was capable of that kind of thinking.

I don’t see how anyone hearing what he said can argue with him.

He’s right, and that’s all there is to it.

I could not make out most of what McCarthy’s questioner was asking, and I don’t know who she was, but it was obvious that she didn’t have a very good grasp of civics and how our government is supposed to work.

Add to that list of good laws under Putin, the “anti-gay proselytizing” law.

Most people didn’t actually understand what that was, but the people who did understand its purpose were so concerned that NBC had their known sexual harasser, Matt Lauer, make the Sochi Olympis all about Gay Rights or something.

Ukraine is the center for international trafficking of children. Russia id very close to Ukraine, isn’t it?

Thanks to Putin’s law, anyone trying to put on a drag show for children would be arrested immediately, wouldn’t they?

They weren’t about to allow that rot to seep into their culture.

@Beryl – I saw yesterday that a 19 year old Christian police officer in Georgia was forced to resign because of a posting on Facebook. Seems as if he was told by superiors that someone had complained, and he could not share his personal religious views on social media. Here’s his quote:

“God designed marriage. Marriage refers to Christ and the church,” he wrote, paraphrasing the Apostle Paul’s teaching in the Book of Ephesians. “That’s why there is no such thing as homosexual marriage.”

He didn’t even say anything specific about marriage being between a man and woman. He has refused to take down his post.

      • MaryQueen January 27, 2023 at 12:14 pm #

The only religious freedom we still have is if you are a member of the religion of trans & diversity.

Then you can say whatever you want without worry of retaliation.

If you’re trans, you can threaten women on Twitter and TikTok and be socially rewarded.

    • cowbell81 January 27, 2023 at 12:31 pm #

Yes, you are 100% correct. Putin knows how to support a clean culture and his people. Putin is my leader of humanity, and I hope and pray that he succeeds in destroying the rot that is infecting the West. If you want to force a globalist agenda upon us, then I will choose to support a global leader like Putin, even if I am American. • Beryl of Oyl January 27, 2023 at 3:57 pm #

As far as I know, they only ever had plans for such a parade the once, and it was canceled over fears that children might view it. That would put it in conflict with their anti-gay proselytizing law, wouldn’t it?

A ban isn’t the same as crushing actual parades.

I used to support the Gay Pride movement here, until it was taken over by globalists with a different agenda.

        • MaryQueen January 27, 2023 at 4:34 pm #

Same. I have no problem with any group of people putting on a march or a parade or what have you, as long as they follow indecency laws, which, increasingly, Gay Pride (now globalist trans pride, really) does not.

They make the depleted uranium weapons about 12 miles from my house.
I guess I will go in the first volley.

I don’t know, the aftermath could be kind of fun, provided you do not take on too much direct radiation exposure. Think of the new life you could start from the rubble, the new society to help create, and the abandoned goods and materials that would be free for the taking. I think it would be a delightful challenge that would provide a lot of purpose to an otherwise drab life.

We had a laboratory for some awesome weapons in our area, and our teachers pointed out with pride that our community was one of the first places that would be bombed.

It really put us on the map.

Of course, we would be safe from the fallout if we went down to the gym and hunkered over with perhaps a sweater over our head.

      • MaryQueen January 27, 2023 at 11:53 am #

Yes, I think they are rehashing the same fearmongering as they did then.

We’re a couple of generations apart from that so why not recycle it for the people who forgot it or are two young to know about it?

When was the last time you saw a yellow, three triangle fallout shelter sign on a building? I remember my town had the sirens spread around town and would test them on a schedule. The Russians should be pissed about the Abrams tanks. Their primary weapon is the depleted uranium round. 10+ lbs metal penetrator ( wink, wink Sam Brinton) containing Uranium 235. No problem. The half life of U235 is only 700 million years.

          • cowbell81 January 27, 2023 at 12:43 pm #

A friend of mine owned a building in town that had one of these signs on the exterior. I told him I always wanted one of these signs for my collection. He got a ladder out with a pry bar and told me to help myself. Now I have that sign proudly displayed in my basement, alongside my stockpile of shotgun shells, canned goods, and bottled water.

          • Beryl of Oyl January 27, 2023 at 12:53 pm #

Those signs- I had a young visitor from another country ask me about them.

You should have seen the look of disgust on his face when I told him.

          • Paula D January 27, 2023 at 1:51 pm #

Remember a couple of years back when Hawaiians were told that missiles were incoming and to ”seek shelter”?

That was cold. What shelter? One guy dropped his two daughters down a manhole because there was nothing else.
The US has never had real shelters, just those yellow signs. I remember we had them in my school cafeteria. WTF? How would going into the cafeteria help us?

One thing I have learned in the last year is that the Soviets were very serious about protecting their people from nuclear war.

The reason it’s so difficult to remove the Kiev regime military from Donbass territory is because they can hole up in Soviet-era bomb shelters and be protected.

Russians also have air missile defense that actually works, unlike the Patriot system.

It is clear that both sides understood exactly which one was more likely to launch nuclear weapons.
And it’s clear which side cared more about the safety of their citizens.

          • Jarek January 27, 2023 at 2:09 pm #

The US lost all interest in protecting its citizens after the Kennedy coup. Our Elite ceased to identify with us completely.

Maybe a lot of it was bs anyway in practical terms as Paula says. Switzerland has shelter space for all it citizens – and plans to emerge and defeat any invader.

Of course they’re going down too after accepting millions of non-Europeans. The Bankers don’t care about the Swiss. Did the Swiss never realize that?

Took me over 2 hours to finally be allowed to log-in here.

    Anyway, my three cents:

Our host dared us to name something our government is not lying about.

My answer, that we are no longer fiscally solvent and due to the debt limit being reached everything will shut down and really begin to fall apart in earnest come this June.

    • elysianfield January 27, 2023 at 12:16 pm #

      Bell,
The only hazard in voting for a debt increase is a moral one. The can will be kicked. The ceiling will be raised. Easy deal.

In 2011, the GOP got some spending cuts.

I have heard the starting position is $3 of spending cuts for every $1 of debt level increase.

        • cowbell81 January 27, 2023 at 12:40 pm #

Unfortunately, the defense budget is a drop in the bucket to the overall budget. Everything is so big and bloated in the budget. There needs to be massive cuts to all of the entitlement programs, but people and politicians are just too weak to get it done. If the church and other local community charity organizations were given power to step up and help their locales, then we wouldn’t need the government to provide so much entitlement money. This is the way it was done in the past (circa 1800s) when society was still decent and functional.

    • Beryl of Oyl January 27, 2023 at 12:23 pm #

I have noticed that even when they admit something, they go right ahead with lying about the same thing afterward, as if it never even happened.

      They still push that.

Inflation allows for a soft economic genocide. The frog (us) is boiled slowly. Someday the dollar just won’t be viable anymore and the people will beg for relief. It will be given! The Amero – in cyber form – will appear.

  28. JohnAZ January 27, 2023 at 12:34 pm #

    Thinking about inflation.

The Mob is trying to convince us that things are getting better, it is only inflating 6% now year to year.

    Utter BS.

Does any one believe that prices will ever go down, that eggs will be $2 a dozen again?

The inflation report only counts things that are a small part of the inflation picture, the big things like energy are ignored.

Another is unemployment. The 7 million men that are not even looking for a job are not even counted. The 7 million gimmes. I wonder how many illegals are not counted even though they are on the federal feedbag.

The US government is the biggest liar in the world, and we are their dupes.

    • cowbell81 January 27, 2023 at 12:41 pm #

The only way to solve it: bring the current government to its knees and effect a complete overthrow, ceding power to the states and local communities, where it really matters.

Were I king of the world I’d bring every soldier home, close down all of the military bases and put every single soldier on the southern border with orders to shoot and kill anyone who sets foot across the border. Then our military would be protecting us from a dangerous invasion force.

But I ain’t king of world. I’m just one guy watching this clusterfuck nation swirl down the toilet bowl of decay and wondering what the hell can I do?

There is no ‘probably’ or ‘possibly’ about the demise of the US$. It is here and NOW! Examples: Saudi, who has been refusing US$ for oil for months, formally announced on the first day of the WEF that they would now accept a variety of currencies for oil, and that they preferred only those with substantial backing (e.g. Yuan and Ruble, both of which are partially back by GOLD but cnn won’t tell you that).

Next we have Brazil and Argentina working out a deal for the export of beef that will NOT accept the US$, but preferably Yuan.

South Africa, home to the world’s strategic metal reserve in ground, made a deal last week with Russia to exclusively sell these metals to them. There’s much more, but most will get the point from the above.

The US Corporation is being systematically isolated from global economic activity, and a huge amount of US$s are about to come flying back into the USCorporation from foreign coffers that no longer need them. Can you spell HYPERINFLATION or WEIMAR? Better hope your pensions and salaries are denominated in Rubles or Yuan, or precious currency metals.

I predict that the white house will build a much much stronger fence around it soon. 😉

Haha, such rich desserts, they have the opposite effect, and they make the alleged “enemies” of the West that much stronger. I for one am willing to incur a massive depression and fall in standard of living in order to take one for the team and see the USA hit rock bottom and collapse. ‘a Fourth Turning jamboree of serious domestic political disorder will commence in short order.’

The war sucks the air out of the room for sure.

    One saeculum ago:

    A Gallup poll conducted Sept. 1-6, 1939

Americans were asked about to what degree they supported assisting England, France and Poland.

    Yes No
    % %
Should we sell them food supplies? 74 27
Should we sell airplanes and other war materials to England and France? 58 42
Should we send our Army and Navy abroad to fight against Germany? 16 84

    Does the above look familiar?

Hope the rhymin time coming in the next couple of years is off-tune from our past Strauss-Howe trots around the block.

Chapter 4 is on my website. The future will make us irrelevant. The way things are going it will be sooner rather than later.

Love the thought of a new civilization this describes:

“A kingdom of genetically modified humans hides deep inside Antarctica. Green skinned women with amber eyes. Natural purple hair marks a royal line.”

I do wonder though, could future transportation be modified to operate on a renewable palm oil type of fuel? It would certainly make sense if the technology could be developed and scaled up.

      • K-Chien January 27, 2023 at 2:25 pm #

The genetically modified humans who hide deep inside Antarctica sit on 15 billion barrels of light sweet crude. There are only two million of them so their oil will last a long time.

The Antarcticans live in a temperate climate with six months of winter darkness. In the middle of their long night they even get a little snow.

The rest of the world has no choice but to use palm oil. Remaining geological oil in the north is tight oil with an EROEI no better than grown oil. The slavery thing in the south keeps costs down giving a reasonable EROEI.

In the north working palm oil plantation is a job. At times in their lives every northerner works in palm oil fields. The north is socialist. The south reproduced capitalism. In the north every college student has a summer job because their are no rich assholes.

As retail therapy no longer exists on the planet, working agricultural gigs replaced retail jobs for students and other such casual labor in the 45th century to achieve the Arctic dream.

Above the Torrid Zone the north has electric farm machinery. The south regressed to horse and buggy below the Eternal Storm. Workers in the north only do eight hours a day.

Sailing ships connect the southern empire. Only military ships and mail packets burn palm oil. Trade between ports employ sail. The north uses palm oil in similar ways to the south.

A coast railroad connects Antarctic coast settlements for bulk goods transport along the coast which has been settled and cleared of Fauchi Dragons. It like the mail packets is palm oil diesel.

Consumer use of palm oil as transport fuel is a madness unknown.

Electric Autos in the north are built to last forever. Everything can be replaced. Their cars use lead-acid and Edison cells in a fully recycled way.

Not having to compete with fossil fuels, range is not an issue. The autos work and get the job done. Limited range makes for intelligent use so there is no need to go 300 miles between charges.

        • Jarek January 27, 2023 at 3:19 pm #

The world was warm before – much warmer. The Antarcticans will live in the old cities built by intelligent dinosaurs millions of years ago.

Many of the Elite have gone down to view these cities already.

      September 1, 1939
      W. H. Auden – 1907-1973

I sit in one of the dives
      On Fifty-second Street
      Uncertain and afraid
      As the clever hopes expire
      Of a low dishonest decade:
      Waves of anger and fear
      Circulate over the bright
And darkened lands of the earth,
      Obsessing our private lives;
      The unmentionable odour of death
      Offends the September night.

      Accurate scholarship can
      Unearth the whole offence
      From Luther until now
That has driven a culture mad,
      Find what occurred at Linz,
      What huge imago made
      A psychopathic god:
      I and the public know
      What all schoolchildren learn,
Those to whom evil is done
      Do evil in return.

      Exiled Thucydides knew
All that a speech can say
      About Democracy,
      And what dictators do,
      The elderly rubbish they talk
      To an apathetic grave;
      Analysed all in his book,
      The enlightenment driven away,
      The habit-forming pain,
      Mismanagement and grief:
We must suffer them all again.

      Into this neutral air
      Where blind skyscrapers use
      Their full height to proclaim
      The strength of Collective Man,
      Each language pours its vain
      Competitive excuse:
But who can live for long
      In an euphoric dream;
Out of the mirror they stare,
      Imperialism’s face
      And the international wrong.

      Faces along the bar
      Cling to their average day:
The lights must never go out,
      The music must always play,
      All the conventions conspire
      To make this fort assume
      The furniture of home;
Lest we should see where we are,
      Lost in a haunted wood,
      Children afraid of the night
Who have never been happy or good.

      The windiest militant trash
      Important Persons shout
Is not so crude as our wish:
      What mad Nijinsky wrote
      About Diaghilev
      Is true of the normal heart;
For the error bred in the bone
Of each woman and each man
      Craves what it cannot have,
      Not universal love
      But to be loved alone.

      From the conservative dark
      Into the ethical life
      The dense commuters come,
      Repeating their morning vow;
“I will be true to the wife,
I’ll concentrate more on my work,”
      And helpless governors wake
      To resume their compulsory game:
      Who can release them now,
      Who can reach the deaf,
Who can speak for the dumb?

All I have is a voice
      To undo the folded lie,
The romantic lie in the brain
      Of the sensual man-in-the-street
      And the lie of Authority
      Whose buildings grope the sky:
There is no such thing as the State
      And no one exists alone;
      Hunger allows no choice
      To the citizen or the police;
We must love one another or die.

      Defenceless under the night
      Our world in stupor lies;
      Yet, dotted everywhere,
      Ironic points of light
      Flash out wherever the Just
      Exchange their messages:
      May I, composed like them
      Of Eros and of dust,
      Beleaguered by the same
      Negation and despair,
      Show an affirming flame.

I hope all the links come through!! Sorry this is so long but it’s from Telegram & doesn’t have one link to the whole thing.

“Zelensky has signed a decree (https://360tv.ru/news/mir/zelenskij-vvel-surovye-nakazanija-dlja-voennyh/) increasing punishments for military insubordination

The morale of Ukrainian military forces is getting lower and lower with more and more cases of units refusing (https://360tv.ru/news/ukrainian-crisis/ukrainskie-voennye-otkazalis-vyhodit-na-pozitsii-v-zaporozhskoj-oblasti/) to move on position or surrendering (https://360tv.ru/news/mir/desjatki-ukrainskih-soldat-s-serediny-dekabrja-sdalis-v-plen-v-zaporozhskoj-oblasti/). The flow of volunteers is long over and AFU now uses methods of force mobilization to replenish its immense losses on Donbass front. However, not all Ukrainians are willing to die (https://360tv.ru/tekst/ukrainian-crisis/padenie-boevogo-duha-vsu/) for the sake of Zelensky regime.

Shortage of manpower and motivated nationalist forces Kiev to use controversial methods and forcefully conscript (https://iz.ru/1459024/bogdan-lvovskii/nakrylo-volnoi-dlia-chego-ukraine-ocherednoi-etap-mobilizatcii) anyone even remotely fit for military service. There are even talks of force mobilization of Ukrainian migrants in Europe.

This is understandable as Ukrainian decision to stick and hold its positions in Artemovsk and Soledar has already cost AFU tens thousands of lives. At such rate Ukraine not only has problems with offensive that its Western patrons keep demanding. Kiev has serious problems with defending the front.

Shortage of weapons and ammunition is one cause of this problem, and while for now Western supplies can still last Ukraine for a month or two, the real problems will manifest in spring.

No Western aid can prevent these problems, even if NATO sends all their stocks of ammunition and equipment. Weapons is one thing but manpower is also important and at the current rate of losses AFU doesn’t have chances to last until summer.

Mass desertion of AFU soldiers (https://360tv.ru/news/ukrainian-crisis/massovoe-dezertirstvo-v-rjadah-vsu-uvelichilo-chislo-inostrannyh-naemnikov/) resulted in increased number of foreign mercenaries at the combat zone but those foreign mercenaries usually avoid combat (https://360tv.ru/news/ukrainian-crisis/naemniki-v-soledare-ispolzovali-mobilizovannyh-ukraintsev-kak-pushechnoe-mjaso/) directly. Russian forces don’t spare these mercenaries and their losses are also counted in thousands. While a year ago Western media estimated the number of mercenaries around 20-30 thousand, by now their number has drastically reduced (https://360tv.ru/news/mir/smi-podschitali-kolichestvo-inostrannyh-naemnikov-v-rjadah-vsu/). Many were killed, many decided that it’s not their war.

Increased punishments were already a thing on Ukrainian side with blocking detachments (https://360tv.ru/news/mir/streljajut-v-spinu-svoim-rossijskij-ofitser-rasskazal-o-zagradotrjadah-vsu/) and murders without trial (https://360tv.ru/tekst/ukrainian-crisis/raspravy-bojtsov-vsu-nad-sosluzhivtsami/). This decree signed by Zelensky only formalizes this practice and has the purpose to scare the hell out of force mobilized civilians so that they wouldn’t even think of surrendering or running away.

It is likely that we will see further toughening of penalties in future, as AFU morale keeps going down and denazification successfully reduces the number of die-hard nationalists despite their attempts to hide behind the backs of cannon fodder.

However, this is unlikely to boost Ukrainian morale. It is an act of desperation, not something that will change the situation. Moreover, increased punishments are likely to have the opposite effect with more units and individual soldiers surrendering and switching sides. The story of losses in Soledar (https://360tv.ru/news/ukrainian-crisis/poteri-vsu-v-soledare-otsenili-v-tysjachi-boevikov/) and Artemovsk (https://360tv.ru/news/mir/nemetskaja-razvedka-dolozhila-o-trehznachnyh-poterjah-vsu-pod-artemovskom/) have opened the eyes of many Ukrainians about attitude of their government to lives of their citizens.”

I heard on the radio, mention of people’s showering habits again.

THE NYT did a survey during the scamdemic about changes in people’s daily washing routines due to the shutdown.

They had people declaring that they just might as well do away with that totally unnecessary daily shower, now that they’ve been made to see what a waste of time it was.

Of course, this always elicits comments about people smelling bad if they don’t take a complete shower, which is nonsense, you can clean with a washcloth too.

That’s not my point in brining this up though.

My point is, it’s one of the globalist goals to have we the peons washing in half a bucket of cold rainwater in the yard, no wait, we won’t have a yard, outside then.

They will still have all the luxurious fixtures in their many bathrooms as money can buy.

They are coming back at us with the washing habits thing just as the vaxx part of their agenda is collapsing.

They are not going to relate it to the pandemic anymore, it’s just going to be pushed as a decision reached after realizing that everything you’ve been told about hygiene may not be true, and even if it was, washing up causes global warming anyway.

What did you decide about Project Veritas’ expose of Pfizer?

Tucker went with it last night. He thinks it’s completely real.

        • Night Owl January 27, 2023 at 3:54 pm #

          Looks real to me.

Robert Malone has discussed it a bit. Lots of evidence showing that the guy is who he claimed he was.

I decided that I still don’t know, given most things we see these days are produced like Hollywood movies.

I do like this guy’s run-down. He mentions Sasha’s piece on it that I posted in the last thread, yesterday:

          • Night Owl January 27, 2023 at 5:05 pm #

IDK. Looks pretty legit to me. Malone has pics of him at Pfizer, and some other links with various pieces of evidence. Veritas has internal docs from Pfizer on him.

He also appears to have been at Boston Consulting, which is not at all unusual. These consultancies are working hand-in-glove with WEF and co. to push the digital infrastructure and medical tyranny.

Word is they also tried to stop Tucker’s piece from airing. Some media types were talking about this on Twatter.

          • MaryQueen January 27, 2023 at 5:57 pm #

Could be legit, but will it matter?

I wait to see what the outcome is on these things, because that’s the real tell.

Is this just creating cover for new scrutiny on other entities, such as DOD, HHS, DARPA, etc.?

I am suspicious of everything that is allowed on YouTube (it hasn’t been erased, unlike all the other covid-skeptical content), and anything the media wants us to pay attention to.

            Thanks, GA.

I can’t take most things at face value any more. I’ve mentioned before, the day I realized that most ‘viral’ stuff is not organic or is soon made not to be, when the so-called “MAGA hat kid” smiled at a native American man drumming in his face, and ended up being reviled and excoriated nationally, in the press and by rabid lefties.

I was really happy when he won a few million in libel suits, though.

It taught me not to just let my emotions take control when I see these exposes. To read up first. I did with that video. I refused to get on the “HE’S A WHITE SUPREMACIST!!!” bandwagon, and lost a lot of friends.

I’ll admit, when I first saw this video, I thought – WOW! And of course very hastily posted it up here. But I also asked what others thought, because I knew I was knee-jerk reacting.

I’m just working on not doing that. It’s important. We have psyops being thrown at us 24/7.

Ha, in the State of Utah it is illegal to even collect rain water. State tells us the rain water is needed to recharge the aquifer and therefore the water belongs to the State.

        Rainwater Harvesting Laws in Utah
Utah is notorious for having some of the strictest rainwater harvesting laws in the country. Under the law (Utah Code 73-3-1.5):

You are allowed to have rainwater storage of up to 2,500 gallons.
If you have more than two covered rain containers with a maximum capacity of 100 gallons each, you do not need to register your containers.
Systems larger 2×100 gallons must be registered. Registration is free.
Only one underground storage container is allowed.

Anyone watch or remember those real-life TV shows like Dateline or 48 Hours?

48 Hours when it started out was pretty good. They would spend two days covering one story, and you would really get a good look at whatever it was they were featuring.

Then 48 Hours deteriorated into a copy of Dateline. I used to watch Dateline frequently, but I stopped after televison declined in genearal as well as that show going downhill.

Endless commercial breaks, as well as the same bits of stock footage repeated after each break, doling out the new material in dribs and drabs.

They used maybe ten minutes of video to make a one hour show.

One of they annoyances was the phone-in polls, where you could tell them what you thought about what you just saw on the screen.

I would think, “are people really this gullible?” when some of them believed that a woman who allegedly drowned in the bathtub could be completely dry by the time the paramedics arrived, etc.

Anyway, as I say, I quit watching those shows quite some time ago, but I was thinking about them they other day and it suddenly hit me, the real purpose of those shows.

Not to have an interesting program about a murder trial. They had a laboratory going, where people would report just how easily duped they could be, and just how much of what kind of information they had to see to either be fooled or clued in.

No wonder they didn’t bother with the quality of the shows anymore.

The whole thing had become an intelligence gathering operation in how to influence the populace’s thinking.

    • cowbell81 January 27, 2023 at 2:15 pm #

The only Dateline series I really enjoyed was the Dateline: To Catch A Predator with Chris Hanson. Totally classic, when the man walks in to meet the nubile, all primed and ready to go, and then gets confronted by a news reporter. The look on their face with shock and dismay was completely priceless!!!

Too bad it was the fact that one of their subjects committed suicide as a result of the show, which is what led to it being cancelled.

Once they got social media they had a focus group of billions instead of the small group watching one show.

Ummmm, that guy is allegedly a Pfizer executive? Wow, talk about woke. He is a young Black man dressed in casual street clothes. Doesn’t strike me at the typical executive type that I would have any kind of confidence in.

He is probably using his position in the company to simply bolster himself, much like the BLM people used it for money laundering to support a lavish personal lifestyle. What ever happened to that scenario? Funny how it completely vanished from the airwaves.

Is that guy gay? It seemed like he was on a date with a guy, and he talked all gay when he was shocked at being confronted by the reporter. Maybe Pfizer should be working on an injection to cure this weirdo of his gaywadness.

      • MaryQueen January 27, 2023 at 4:48 pm #

Jeff Childers in the article I posted above laughs at how over the top this guy behaved, and how unprofessional.

Excerpt: “Not to mention, the entire time, Walker acted like a lampoon of gay stereotypes. He was over-the-top, SUPER gay. It takes effort to act that gay. He seemed like a character who just walked off the set of La Cage aux Folles. I only mention this because I suspect Walker owes his entire career to his “intersectional” skin color plus his sexual preferences, which he probably feels like he must make painfully obvious in order to help preserve his entitlement to his multi-layered victim status.”

I like when the report ways he is having one of the most outrageous reactions he has ever seen in the history of Project Veritas. Hmmm, I wonder if this has anything to do with his vaxx status? This blog is descending into gibberish, not sure why I keep reading it. There is no logical or rational thought here, just if/then hypothesis that make no sense. The heck of it is I believe that both thing he posits are possible, and perhaps even probable. Russia may very well grind out a victory over Ukraine, and the US dollar will eventually collapse, in all likelihood. . .but those two things are completely unrelated.

      @ dilbert113:

The reason you don’t understand the connection is because you have not figured out what this war is for: It’s for all the marbles, so to speak. Many, if not most, of those marbles are the dollar and other Western currencies, and Western central banking. Are you unaware that Russia and many other nations are creating a system in which the dollar is irrelevant to international trade?

So, the way the Western PTB sees it, the only way to prevent the collapse of the dollar and other Western currencies is to defeat and destroy Russia. (Gaining control of Russia’s immense resources would also be a big help.)

I am not sure your post was sincere. (It’s hard to figure how anyone doesn’t know this or can’t figure it out.) But I am replying as if you are sincere in your puzzlement.

“… you must at least suspect that our government is lying about virtually everything it has its hand in.”

If the Government lies… and the Government says, ‘We Never Lie!’… then the logical conclusion about that statement is unmistakable.

“Name something it is not lying about, I dare you.”

The Day of the Week. Maybe.

“So, what was the Ukraine project? To use that sad-ass country as a vector to disable and destroy Russia.”

If it wasn’t Ukraine then it would have been pushed somewhere else. When ‘The Indispensable Nation!’ has a multi-generational hard-on about becoming Sole Masters of the Universe… then anyone else on the Planet just has to go. One way or the other. The problem, We the People just might ‘go’ in this process.

“Russia wrote new private property laws, made commerce legal again, and allowed its citizens to do business. Russia wasn’t threatening any other nations…”

Edgar Cayce famously said: “Russia will become beacons of hope for the world.”

He didn’t say, ‘Putin’. He didn’t say the Government of Russia. He said… Russia. And what is Russia other than its people. Sort of like the USA. Is the USA the Washington D.C. government? Oh, god. No, the USA is the People of the USA.

“If you think ‘Joe Biden’s’ term in office has been a disaster so far, just wait. You ain’t seen nuttin yet.”

Resident Biden’s term has been wildly successful. Not a ‘disaster’ at all. Successful in terms of what it was set up to do and the devastation it has successfully caused for both now and the future.

    Perhaps other words like… ‘Pathetic… Sad… Painful… Regrettable… Disgusting… Shameful… Horrifying…’ might be better fits.

But one can’t deny that it sure has been successful for those who delight in and benefit from the carnage. And that’s no, ‘Come On, Man!…’

I’ve lost count of the parties I’ve gone to and the places I’ve spent times in experiencing everything from the super religious folks to mafia clubs. In short, I understand Russians. They are good people; it’s their government that isn’t worth a damn. Same situation as we are in but at least we’ve got a smidgen of a better opportunity to change ours. Putin’s no saint. He’s a vicious little squirt who looks good in a suit but he’s quick to deal with North Korea, Iran, Whoever the second it serves his purposes. I want the Russians to finally decide enough is enough. The same way I want Americans to finally decide enough is enough.

Oh man, would that be something to see. What is so disheartening about the last decade is that we the people have the power to stop all of this nonsense immediately but we do nothing but obey and comply. If everyone would stop paying taxes we would starve the beast. If everyone would stop paying property taxes we would starve the beast. If everyone said “no” to the vaccine we would starve the beast. It really is that simple. They can’t jail hundreds of millions of delinquent tax payers.

Unfortunately, too many people bow the head and bend the knee before their Government Gods and have lost the ability to think for themselves and do not understand freedom as it truly should be.

I hope I am around when the time comes that good and faithful Americans do decide “enough is enough” to rise up to finally starve the beast and bring justice upon the heads of the wrongdoers. Won’t happen in my lifetime. Maybe.

No, the Hierarchy is Catholic in name only now. Real Catholicism is very harsh as you well know.

To the extent Anglicanism was ever real was to the extent it stayed Catholic. Alba has no stomach for the real stuff and needs to find herself a good liberal church with a woman priest.

Or give up Christianity. It’s not the only path after all. I’ve been consistent on that throughout the years.

          • GreenAlba January 28, 2023 at 5:22 pm #

No church I’ve ever been a member of has had a woman minister, although I have attended someone else’s wedding at the church along the road, when they had a female minister. I’ve never been an Anglican, of course (that would be an Episcopalian up here where we have our own established church – oh, and I’m philosphically not in favour of established churches). You may be right, though, about the Anglicans – Brian Gerrish of UKC thinks that both the Catholic church and the Anglican church are currently run by satanists.

Now the church along the road has a male minister, who’s all for masks, social distancing, jabs, Bill Gates, Zelensky and demonising Putin.

You gave up on Christianity long ago. You keep on regaling us with its failings, because you obviously have the answers that God doesn’t have. Well done you.

          • GreenAlba January 28, 2023 at 5:47 pm #

“Alba has no stomach for the real stuff and needs to find herself a good liberal church with a woman priest.”

Jarek has no stomach for the real stuff and needs a version that allows a class of prostitutes to accommodate all those men with, equally, no stomach for the real stuff.

He doesn’t worry about what happens to the prostitutes, either physically or spiritually, because they’re not important. He gets upset if people talk about ‘women’ as a collection of orifices, but not if people talk about second-class women as a collection of orifices to save the virtue of the wives of those men with no stomach for the real stuff.

Christianity, Jarek style. Christianity for whiny men.

          • Jarek January 29, 2023 at 1:11 pm #

Your attempt to obfuscate with details is for naught and avails you nothing. Are there or are there not women “priests” in your denomination – or men who are no better than women? If so, go a church with one of them as the “presider”. You need false doctrine and the glorification of gays and immigrants.

The strong meat and wine of sound doctrine is not to your taste or appetite. It would burst you, I’m afraid.

Your Christianity is just about being nice to the unfortunate and succoring sinners, confirming them in their sins.

          • GreenAlba January 29, 2023 at 3:15 pm #

My goodness, it took you a long time to work up to a response. And the usual devious one at that.

Your word salad of absolute bollocks achieved nothing.

And you are a liar. You claimed I wanted a ‘liberal’ church with a woman priest. We don’t have priests in my denomination and I have never sought out a woman minister, but don’t apologise for your lies, whatever you do. What the denomination does is nothing to do with me. I have no view on women ministers one way or the other. If they feel called to the ministry, all fine and good, but I don’t seek them out. I go for the song, not the singer.

Nor do I have to agree with everything I hear from the pulpit, not that I hear anything about gays.

Go say a prayer for Thomas Aquinas’ prostitute brigade, and give succour to those sinners who feel entitled to use them, for whom you are an apologist, less those poor men ‘burst’.

And say a prayer for yourself, devious toad, that you might move away from calumny.

            “What’s an MOS?” ~ GreenAlba

It looks like an acronym that saves people the trouble of writing the whole thing out as well as having to ask what it is, because everyone knows. It also supposedly saves time in people like me having to write this and so as you can see, it saves a lot of time and text.

MOS stands for Moss On Stuff, which stands for that short green plant that grows like a carpet often on rocks and whatnot.

          @ MaryQueen:

The way things work currently in the Catholic Church is that it is pretty easy to get an annulment and thus re-marry. And, while the Church is opposed to divorce, it is okay with separation. If you are divorced and are unable to obtain an annulment, you could not re-marry. (That would be adultery.) But I’ve never known anyone who sought an annulment and was unable to get one.

Quite a surprising number and variety of circumstances can invalidate a marriage. One example is the requirement that “consent to the marriage was freely given.” In practice, if the bride was pregnant before marriage, it is presumed that consent was not freely given. Another example is if the bride married to escape an abusive home. (I think this one is very common, especially among young girls.) Also, “Psychological issues or addictions affected one of the party’s ability to truly consent.” (Lots of wiggle room there.)

Another case in which consent was not truly given is, “One of the spouses lied so extensively about their past that they essentially obtained the other’s consent through fraud.” (I believe this to be a pretty regular thing–especially with lies of omission.)

Yet another is, “One of the spouses attached a condition to his or her consent. For example, the person agreed to the marriage with the condition that they would never move to a different city or state.” This is kind of an interesting one, in that, if you think about it, just about everyone attaches conditions to consent, though usually tacitly.

I had a teaching colleague once who was at least nominally Catholic. Her brother obtained an annulment because he and his wife were married in a Protestant church, so it was claimed that it wasn’t a valid marriage (you’d think he would have thought about that at the time?) and he was able to marry his new wife in a Catholic church. Just as well for him that the Priest didn’t say ‘ok, you can make things right by marrying your original wife properly in a Catholic church!’

          • Anthea January 29, 2023 at 9:08 pm #

            @ GreenAlba:

Yes, that’s the other main category circumstances that can invalidate a marriage, called “lack of canonical form.”

I suppose you could say that the modern Church just pretends to be opposed to divorce. On the other hand, I think you could make a good argument that few marriages are really valid in every particular. I suspect that has always been the case.

      • Woodchuck January 28, 2023 at 2:41 pm #

Well, at the moment the Russians seem to have no interest in issues involving “sexual liberation”. As a matter of fact, the Russian Orthodox church is growing rapidly, both in membership and in influencing Russian popular culture. The Western Roman Church is failing. One primary difference between the two Churches is how the church is ruled. The West insists on a top down management system with the pope at the top of the pyramid. The pope is claimed to be the Vicar of Christ and incapable of making mistakes regarding church policy and beliefs. The Eastern Orthodox have no pope and rule instead by councils of archbishops. After Rome collapsed, the Eastern half of the empire still had an emperor. The West had no emperor, and the popes also didn’t like the idea of the Eastern Emperor having any authority over his “holy office”. So the Germans cooked up the idea of founding a “Holy Roman Empire”, and they’d once again have a western emperor. Historians like to joke that it wasn’t holy, wasn’t Roman, and wasn’t a real empire. And the Eastern Church wasn’t fooled by this new empire and new emperor. So eventually a once monolithic Christian Church broke into two pieces around 1000 years ago. And there are problems to this day. At the moment, the Ukraine government is viciously persecuting any Russian Orthodox members in the country. The Eastern Church never had a reformation, whereas the Western Church continues with ever more balkanizations and church breakups.

The Leopards & Abrams aren’t heading into the UAF. They will be driven by Polish tank crews, when the 200,000 newly mobilized Polish soldiers (backed up by US forces) march and retake their historic Galicia.

The UAF is being ground to dust. What air cover would keep Western tanks safe? The Ukrainian Air Force is almost nonexistent. Russia has air superiority. Where is the Ukrainian artillery? It’s all been destroyed, including much of what the West has sent them. Russia has 8 to 1 superiority in artillery. Other Ukrainian IFVs or armored recon? It’s all largely destroyed.

This war has been turned into a charnel house for Ukraine. The West is cynically using the puppet regime in Kiev as nothing then a speed bump, to give NATO enough time to claw into some kind of territory in the East.

    • Jarek January 28, 2023 at 1:35 pm #

The Poles are going to be taught a lesson. They always forget and need to be taught anew.

Paula thinks that tanks are still important. Poor Paula. Poor anybody who fights yesterday’s war. Like Armenia who lost to their Muslim neighbor due to drones supplied to them by Israel. Jews helping Muslims against Christians? Who would have thought?

      Anybody who knows history.

“been warning about the medical industrial complex pathologizing normality for a good while now but this is some next-level insanity.

    https://nahri.org/articles/cdc-updates-guidelines-covid-19-underimmunization-codes

being “unvaccinated for Covid-19” is now a ‘code’ on the International Classification for DIseases, the exhaustive reference medical professionals use for record-keeping & billing. “underimmunization” is also a pathological state, with sub-diagnoses like “immunization not carried out because of patient decision for reasons of belief or group pressure” & “immunization not carried out because of patient decision for other and unspecified reason.” they’re even preparing for the return of mandates with legalistic language with the classification “delinquent immunization status”.

now i know why the last time i had to visit a medical professional they made a point of writing down “patient refuses to be vaccinated against Covid-19” as if i had made a big fuss over the subject when i had merely answered in the negative to the question of whether i planned to inject myself with a bioweapon at some future date. i suppose next year they’ll start interrogating patients on their way in about their feelings on the war in Ukraine (which will still be raging if Victoria Nuland has anything to say about it) or their faith in the US electoral system. ICD codes for “white supremacy” with subsets “white supremacy, belief held by nonwhite individual” & “white supremacy, problematic belief not otherwise specified” will be appended to the majority of Americans’ health records, with their insurance billed a corresponding fee to pay for ‘reparations’ (which will, despite effusive campaign-season promises, only be doled out to Larry Fink, Bill Gates, Jamie Dimon, & a handful of other oligarchs whose family trees will have suddenly sprouted a root reaching back to Mother Africa. and Sam Bankman-Fried, because why not rub our faces in it a little more).

Individuals thus diagnosed will be relentlessly spammed with ads for euthanasia spas in between rounds of punishing billing & IRS audits until they finally give up (a law will have been passed meanwhile that allows an indivdual’s estate to be confiscated to pay for ‘medical debt’ – oh wait, that law already exists? good to know!)

pry the parasite loose or suffer the consequences.”

Those guidelines are pretty terrifying. They have a whiff of internment camp about them – the internment camps Redneck is so desperate to think are a fantasy. Even though Australia and NZ have used them already, for perfectly healthy people, and the UK has built 6 new megaprisons, with private capital, while the government has been bleating for decades that there isn’t money to deal with overcrowded prisons.

The one at Wellingborough, which opened a year ago, has no bars on the windows, because it’s not for real criminals. But it has a crematorium beside it, handily.

      • MaryQueen January 27, 2023 at 10:40 pm #

Yes they are terrifying and will be used to crush people.

Or, perhaps once they’ve gone too far and proven they themselves don’t follow the rule of law, people will start to decide that we don’t need to then, either.

This seems to be the case with certain so-called oppressed groups who have been let off the hook for crimes, etc.

We see how that’s working out.

To get a view on what cretins like RL think, go back to his previous comment on this issue. Something to the effect of:

“When I see tanks rolling down the streets like in Tiananmen Square, then I will agree with you, but then it is too late anyways.”

In other words, just give up. Reminds me of the Communist/Bader-Meinhof dude I occasionally play guitar with, who remarked that if they are going to force digital IDs and annual injections of untested products on us, then he will be the first to line up to accept, as the alternative (for not complying) would obviously be worse.

According to the body cam footage this guy was messing with cops on the road. Got pulled over once and they let him go. When they did he played chicken with another cruiser got pulled over again and started playing games in his car so they pulled him out and told him to lie flat on his stomach he resisted went a for a gun got tazzed got away and ran.
They caught him again and he was resisting more and then they started beating his ass.
    Death by cop.
Just another reason for almost peaceful protests.

    • Jarek January 28, 2023 at 1:43 pm #

Often cops get into a feeding frenzy like sharks. They tase someone and are outraged when the person starts jerking around (as anyone would after they are shocked). They told them to be still and stop resisting! So they do it again. The person keeps “struggling”. So they have teach him a lesson.

Of course there are real provocations against the cops too. Blacks can’t stand having to submit to authority. The footage is out there. They didn’t have to beat this guy to death – even if provoked.

    Stupidity

The number one problem of America.

Our stupid government is the result of stupid hidebound partisan voting putting politicians, who are stupid by nature, into office over and over. The latest is the acknowledgement by the media that Schiff will probably inherit Feinstein’s Senate seat, Schiff, the dumbest and biggest liar in the US government.

Why? The real reason is the degradation of the American public. Early in our history, it was acknowledged that for a representative republic to work, the voters needed to be educated to make the decisions needed to form good governments. If a party wanted to destroy the republic and put an autocratic state in place, the way is to pull the wool over Joe Average’s eyes. The Dem led Deep State has been successful at stupidifying the public to the point that the public does not even recognize what the national jerks are doing to us.

How? How has Joe Average been duped by these egomaniacal monsters? One, the creation of the Education Dept. and its changing education of kids to indoctrination into acceptance of the 1984 concept of society. Two, bring in nothing but “the wretched refuse of the teeming shores” of the most socialized sectors of the world. Take these two populations and concentrate them into the cities to make voting blocs that will perpetuate the Deep State. Then over time convert the avenues of power, the bureaucracy, the media, the judiciary into Deep State instruments by partisan selection over years and years, accelerated by two Deep State RINO presidencies, and voila here we are.

Everything in our extremely controlling government is Leftist Deep State. The FDA is controlled by Big Pharma, the CDC is controlled by centrist folks more interested in proving technologies than the safety of the public, the Education Dept wants, as I stated before, to indoctrinate and not educate, the State and Defense Depts are dupes of the MIC, the transportation dept. is more concerned about male breast feeding and the progression of LBTGQ causes and the judiciary is in Never Never land supporting the Deep State, all the way to the Supreme Court. What else explained the occurrence of Dodd just before the election?

The group is headed up by the worst president in US history, unless you are a believer in this socialistic autocratic BS, then he is a hero. We are headed for a CCP type government in this country, I think the people are going to get exactly what they deserve. The government is the result of the represented people and that is why socialism always fails, the Stupidification of the population created by that government dooms itself.

The biggest flaw is humanity placing great emphasis on intelligence (a form of hubris). Homo Sapiens has only been around for an instant in the Earth’s history, not long enough to conclude that intelligence is a survival trait. Our species’ strong point is our technical prowess. That’s why we have come so far. Your attitude, JAZ, is typical of a reasonably intelligent person: Having a hard time wondering why we act so stupidly. The answer is that intelligence is only one factor in species’ toolkit.

We are flawed and lacking in other areas, such as moral character and ethical behavior. As Jessica Rabbit said, “ It’s not my fault, I was drawn that way.”

So, until you realize this, I believe you will always be dissatisfied with society. We are both blessed and cursed. Blessed for our brainpower, and cursed for our lacking in other essential areas.

IMO, we’re not necessarily doomed. There’s one other factor involved, personal strength – strength enough for our species’ to mend our ways and become more moral and ethical. Whether we do is yet to be determined.

      • K-Chien January 28, 2023 at 1:40 pm #

        No, we are necessarily doomed.

CO2 concentration in the atmosphere does not go down on a reasonable time scale. This means all conservation measures only buy time. The inevitable is only postponed. Last month was +0.54% more CO2 in the air than the year before. It is impossible to put a minus sign in place of the plus. That is the point. Enough half percent increases and we are toast. Change it to plus anything and the end comes sooner or later but it still comes because you can’t make the rate of increase negative.

Forests do not sequester CO2 once they grow. Once in the atmosphere CO2 stays there as far as we are concerned, forever.
All green heads ever do is talk of play with the second derivative. The old misunderstanding of rate of change being confused with reduction in actual quantity is alive and well.

        Bend over and kiss it.

Old-growth forests sequester more CO2 than newer forests. It is not just the trees that sequester more CO2, but also the ground. However, the older trees themselves also sequester more CO2 than younger trees.

Once you lock it up in the forest biomass you can’t put anymore carbon in.

            @kweef

You have once again missed a very important point carbon is converted into glucose and this never stops until the tree dies at which point the round robin of events occurs or the tree is burned releasing the carbon dioxide a life gas back for other plants to use.

It is both science and magic.

When did you become such a thin skinned little bitch?

          • JohnAZ January 28, 2023 at 7:54 pm #

Large trees sequester more than small trees.

Yup, just figure surface area. To metabolize, to bud out in the Spring, to grow.

Uh, oh. What if a forest is at climax condition, ie it is no longer growing?

Just look at the broad expanses of Ponderosa and Pinyon Pine in the West, especially Colorado. They have reached climax condition, The capillary action of their cambiums can no longer rise water to their toops, then a drought hits. The trees are invaded by beetles, subsequent fungus and die in huge quantities. These trees are not contributing any thing to sequester Carbon and the rot in the East and wildfires in the west just create more CO2. My point is, this is the natural order of things. Using Smoky the Bear techniques, we have succeeded in bringing most of our forests to climax AT THE SAME TIME. The West anyway is burning to the ground and quickly.

The forest should naturally be a patchwork of various stages of growth. Meadows quickly cover burns ( that are not burned too hot by too much heat), then Aspens grow into the burns from roots under the ground, then over a couple of hundred years, the climax forest reappears, only to burn off again.

That is real recycling. The forests are averaging much higher in sequestration when they are actively growing.

So, for the CC gang, do you think that allowing our forests to go to climax all together then burn might have something to do with warming? Planting millions of trees will help in burns but if the soil is not rejuvenated by natural processes, the trees will never progress well. in the 80s, the National Foret folks finally changed Smokey’s philosophy to let them burn naturally. They are not. They have too much underbrush, they burn too hot, they sterilize the soil, replanting trees is a waste of time and capital. Flooding causes nutrients to wash away as the new meadows cannot grab hold. It will take a millenium for vegetation to get to the point it will balance out Gaia’s Carbon distribution. In the meantime, get out your swim suits.

Anyway, the old statement is ” Do not mess with Mother Nature”. We have and we are now paying the price!!!!

          • Islander January 28, 2023 at 11:09 pm #

NB: A climax forest does not mean that all individual trees in the forest are the same age, and that all will die at the same time.

It means that the forest has reached a state of equilibrium where it is more or less released from the “karma” of natural succession.

“In scientific ecology, climax community or climatic climax community is a historic term for a community of plants, animals, and fungi which, through the process of ecological succession in the development of vegetation in an area over time, have reached a steady state.
“they have moderate conditions, also called mesic conditions. They have high species diversity, and transfer of energy is in the form of complex food webs, not simple food chains. The size of organisms in the community is large, and they all have their specific niches.”
            +++++++

Here is a different article on the old vs. new growth question. Old growth forest still win out for carbon sequestration—and a lot more, of course.

            httpX://news.mongabay.com/2019/05/tall-and-old-or-dense-and-young-which-kind-of-forest-is-better-for-the-climate/

“Old growth trees in the coastal temperate rainforest can sequester carbon for hundreds of years,” she said, “which is much longer than is expected for buildings that are generally assumed to outlive their usefulness or be replaced within several decades.”

          • JohnAZ January 29, 2023 at 9:56 am #

Islander, I do not know where you live. I lived in Colorado and Arizona for 50 years and I have watched grossly mismanaged forests die from beetle kill throughout both states. I mean entire forests dying. One of the most beautiful scenes in Colorado was the mountains surrounding Dillon reservoir. Those hills are now brown with dead trees. The New Mexico side of Raton Pass is nothing but small underbrush now with twenty year old tree Skelton left. We used to visit Santa Fe over the years. The beetle hit the Pinyon Pines there and wiped them out, al that is left is cedars and Junipers.

Your argument about climax forests and actively growing juvenile forests is a moot point. Climax forests are disappearing as the trees cannot water and feed themselves any longer. It is catastrophic, go visit it to see the impact. It makes no difference if there are no trees left.

FYI, Arizona has the largest Ponderosa pine forest in the world. Driving through it frequently, I have witnessed the beginnings of the devastation. Colorado and California have been devastated.

It is not only the West either. The Great Smoky Mountains have had problems with diminutive trees for decades. It has been blamed on acid rain from coal plants in the past, I wonder how they are doing.

Maybe a better argument is the difference between grassland and climax forest in their ability to sequester CO2. And other pollutants.

JAZ is an American Capitalist who thinks things can always be increasing. No understanding of cycles at all.

In my suburb south of Boston, every few years the skunk population would explode, you’d be smelling them constantly and almost stepping on them at night. Then nothing. Instead of expanding forever, they almost all die of disease or starvation.

Being more resourceful than skunks, JAZ thinks we can just keep expanding, be it America, our GDP, the world population, anything and everything. It’s not so.

A strong America could have sealed our borders and watched the world die. We didn’t have to be part of the die off. But we are utterly lacking in wisdom, thinking greed is good. So we will share the world’s fate. Imagine giving your nation away to immigrants for cheap labor. And your outsourcing your industrial base to the third world in order to save money. Both were done. Madness.

        • JohnAZ January 28, 2023 at 4:49 pm #

          Yeah, stupidity.

Agree with you that the US and the world is facing a no growth future as resources limit out. The stupidity comes in when denial prevails among the people, either on purpose or through ignorance. Mostly the latter.

Yes, I favor capitalism because government is too stupid to make good decisions. The Congress is supposed to be the source of political innovation in the US.

Yeah, right. I would rather have the relative political neutrality of free markets than a bunch of nincompoops making decisions for us.

          • JohnAZ January 28, 2023 at 4:52 pm #

Our government makes more decisions based on a bunch of stupid rioters than any form of intelligence.

          • Jarek January 29, 2023 at 1:16 pm #

Political neutrality? Is the WEF neutral? Only in the sense that they will use left, right or middle to attain THEIR ends.

Neutral? In what sense? They’re on THEIR OWN SIDE.

Do yourself and us a favor: Never use the words left or right again. You are in a state of hypnosis and you are helping to keep it going by using those words. Ditto “the Mob” of course.

      • Jarek January 28, 2023 at 2:00 pm #

The Chinese speak of “heart mind”. Both are needed. Higher intelligence partakes of an exalted morality. But of course one must then discriminate between the morality of saints and that need by those in the world. People who give away all that they have shouldn’t be making the rules for those who support them. They certainly shouldn’t be emulated. And they should know the distinction and never make this mistake. People might listen to them and society will end up on the rocks.

      • JohnAZ January 28, 2023 at 7:03 pm #

Intelligence vs. Emotions? Guess which the recent voting has been based on.

Remember too that intelligence comes in three forms, horse sense, Mentat, and academia. Guess which has been running this country.

    • SoftStarLight January 28, 2023 at 2:14 pm #

It’s an occupation government John. America has never been and will never be its number one priority.

      • JohnAZ January 28, 2023 at 6:57 pm #

        SSL

It is a Mob, stealing openly now from the public for its own survival.

It is also very regional. It is an East Coast Mob that pays very little attention to the needs of any other part of the country. It is a MIC bully boy that thinks the world should jusr bend over when it says so. The world is starting to say FU and the bully boys do not know what to do.

It is so like the Roman Empire in year 300, with the rest of the world getting ready to knock it off its perch.

It is very ironic that the folks here that so dislike the American government today were the patriotic mainstay of America in the 20th century. That measures how much the government has drifted Left.

The Left thinks Antifa is their friend. Not hardly, Antifa hates them as much as the conservatives. They hate any government, any authority. Gen Z is a big part of this, suddenly becoming adults and realizing the Gimme state they were promised by their fed led teachers and parents has been given to millions of Latin Americans and others too.

        God loves irony.

It seems, by his admission, that the virology effort is like a dog chasing its own tail, never quite catching it.

How do you create a new changed virus? By vaxxing. The viral survivors of a vaxx are the new strain. That is mother nature. Same thing is happening with drug resistant bacteria, the bacterial survivors of antibiotic attacks are the new drug resistant strain.

The newer Bi- versions have already shown they do not work against the newer editions of the virus.

Real herd immunity, not vaxx induced, is bringing Covid’s virus under control.

What are the virologists going to offer next? We are in competition for Gaia resources with these little suckers, they do not need any help from these academia Know nothings.

The only negative from this situation is that many are interpreting the toad’s admission to mean Pfizer is manipulating an actual virus.

IMO, they are just continuing down the road of developing additional poisonous injections.

They have already announced that they want to convert most existing vaccinations into MRNA shots.

This entire program is about creating injectibles.

Well, I know that Musk is a snake oil salesman, and a transhumanist animal torturer – that is not up for debate.

            I did my vetting.

I also did vet Greta, and she is also a manipulated puppet. So not really sure what sort of “win” you think are getting out of worshipping those 2.

            Carry on, though.

            “Worship” – what a dummy.

          • Night Owl January 29, 2023 at 5:20 am #

I don’t really understand how anyone can come to a hard conclusion about Musk at this point.

He has some suspect ties but has done a number of things that have caused actual damage to the WEF/globocap agenda. These actions are damaging enough that there is no logic to the idea that he has done so in order to serve as some kind of distraction or false prophet.

It is entirely possible to put a positive spin on many of the technologies he has pushed and continues to push. The reality is that many of those technologies are coming, whether we like it or not. The most important thing is that they are not used for the purposes for which some would like to use them.

I view Trump similarly. Many truthseeker types have simply gotten to the point where they sometimes overestimate their abilities to predict what is coming.

The PV thing up-thread is an interesting case in this regard. One of my favorite TNT hosts and a very bright guy was certain it was some kind of staged event.

I have no idea how he could be so sure, particularly when it didn’t really look staged, and because there were several pieces of hard evidence showing that Pfizerbro was legit.

          • MaryQueen January 29, 2023 at 11:27 am #

            Islander, I actually do.

And you are free to worship her, no one really cares.

I do find it silly that you excoriate me for understanding the psyop she represents, but I know that worshiping the people in charge is your bag, even though you post everything they do to us.

Might want to think a bit about something called cognitive dissonance.

          • MaryQueen January 29, 2023 at 11:29 am #

NO, I know who he is and who is people are and how he got where he is, and what he’s done.

That’s what I base my conclusion on.

That people up here are triggered by that is pretty entertaining to me.

As if in the great scheme of things, it matters at all what I think of Elon Musk or Greta Thunberg.

          • Night Owl January 29, 2023 at 11:44 am #

I know most of that stuff, too. But I do not think his aims are clear at this point.

I mentioned this before, but Jason Bermas has probably done more research on Musk than just about anyone. He is convinced Musk is evil; his evidence is impressive. He may well be right, but the fact remains that he has done things that suggest otherwise, and those things were not superficial.

          • MaryQueen January 29, 2023 at 12:40 pm #

Meh. What has he changed? He let some people have their Twitters back? He didn’t give me mine, or any of my friends.

I guess only important people need apply (and pay $8 for a blue check).

In any case, he is what he is, and I maintain that billionaires are never good people.

I have never seen evidence of even one. Why? Because they have to break the law and skirt the law and ruin people on their way up.

I also find it a sorry state of affairs when one has to cling to the hope that some billionaire is going to give us back the freedom we already have, but are too chickenshit to claim.

          • Jarek January 29, 2023 at 1:59 pm #

Yes Mary, things are that bad. We don’t have many of those freedoms any more and we need all the help we can get. And movement never succeed without at least some help from the upper classes. Welcome to the real world. And you are living on conquered land too.

Powerful MEN conquered this land, and bequeathed all of those freedoms to us – and that means you too. Were you ever grateful to them?

No. Now you hate on a powerful man who is helping us to keep these freedoms. At least you’re consistent in your foolishness, eh? That being the hobgoblin of little minds.

          • Night Owl January 29, 2023 at 5:51 pm #

You say that a lot, Mary. But I have yet to see anyone suggest Musk is going to save us.

He could be a powerful ally, however, and having yet another maniacal tech. billionaire to deal with is not going to help anything.

It really does seem like the US and Nato are purposefully steering the conflict into escalation to the point of a nuclear war. And it makes a lot of sense that they are doing so. Everything they are doing is really geared toward death. Look at the mRNA injections and the encouragement of riots and race wars. imo this is all part of the overall depopulation program. And if there is a nuclear war they have that Noah’s ark thing in Scandinavia with all of the seeds and animals they need to start life again after nuclear winter. They have underground shelters and are not worried about it most likely.

This description of conditions in Latin America feels pretty relevant to the USA—not all that far away:

    httpX://www.zerohedge.com/personal-finance/heres-what-happens-society-when-system-fails

“. . . There’s a huge contingent of organized groups out there whose routines are a constant of firearms, violence, deception, and bloodshed. These people practice with guns daily on real targets; their “range” is the city’s streets. The idea that normal people will be dealing with untrained neighbors (or even trained ones) coming solo or in groups to their doors food in case SHTF is a fantasy for the most part.

I’m not referring to regular people turning violent due to hunger or despair or psychopaths wreaking havoc on the broken society. These criminals are all that and more, but they’re also merciless warriors accustomed to a routine of danger, confrontation, and death. It’s not that they’re capable of violence: all they know is violence. For them, it’ll be business as usual whether the system stays up or breaks down. . . . “

Yep, and it’s Astra Zeneca and Moderna. Pfizer appears to be sitting this one out, although I’m sure they have other rNA fish to fry. Possibly they’re too busy with the ‘vaccine’ for the new Catastrophic Contagion we’re promised for 2025.

Yeah, so are they trying to repair the damage they caused in the first place?

It really scares me that after being able to use the mRNA technology on a large group, 200000000 or so, they have not done shit to check out its goodness or badness. Three years and not a peep from any group that has meaning.

I would say it is really bad, so it is being suppressed and hidden.

        • JohnAZ January 28, 2023 at 8:32 pm #

mRNA may not be the only bad guy in town. Just discovered my miracle LDL suppressor, Repatha is a monoclonal antibody. It is history.

No wonder our immune systems act like they do not know what is going to hit them next.

    • Night Owl January 29, 2023 at 5:27 am #

This is a good example of something that IMO is most likely another steaming load of bullshit.

They are not going to repair anything. Rather they are going to generate more cash from the people they poisoned before they die off.

Based on the evidence available, they have injected poison into millions of people, and they are simultaneously using humans as part of a mass clinical trial to see what they can do with MRNA. The latter has been publicly stated by several current and ex.government officials (including Obama), and pharma hucksters.

At this point, I would be questioning putting any product into my body from any of the companies in the Big Pharma web.

It is quite likely that even something as common as paracetemol is damaging you in ways you are unaware of.

      • GreenAlba January 29, 2023 at 8:41 am #

I think there have already been some issues with paracetamol. And my Irish sister-in-law ended up in hospital years ago on dialysis (a one-off, thankfully) as a result of popping too much ibuprofen.

If one can tolerate aspirin, it’s a better choice – a bit of a multifaceted but modest wonder drug, like ivermectin. You have to be careful not to take it on an empty stomach, though (paracetamol has the advantage that you can), especially women, because it can cause intestinal bleeding in some people if not taken with food.

But yes, the rest is true about creating disease, then profiting from it. They’re planning to go mad with mRNA, progressively winding down traditional medicines – they are creating shortages already to that end. Pharmacies in the UK are going under. They are part of the NHS network, although private businesses. They have to search around for medications at market prices but the NHS pays them a fixed rate which is often less than they are paying to purchase the drugs. So they are operating at a loss and the system is collapsing.

Doubtless all planned, with a view to AI medicine by devices and eventually implants.
And the UK (unbeknownst to most of its citizens) is aiming to be the global hub of all this, hence Bill Gates buying up medical businesses here (e.g. PCR) and subsidising places like Imperial College and Oxbridge.

      • MaryQueen January 29, 2023 at 11:24 am #

Yes, indeed. As GA says, you can’t really even trust ibuprofen. I would also use aspirin instead if you can.

My ibuprofen story is not bad like GA’s (wow, on dialysis!). I’ve rarely taken it ’til last year when I was getting migraines (naturopathic supplements got rid of them – thankfully). But up until I got the supplements I was taking it, which worried me, given my friend who runs pharmaceutical trials told me about the trials for ibuprofen which was one of the first ones she worked on. She told me what just a week of taking it every day, 3x a day did to someone’s stomach (they were shown Xrays). She said she’d never touch the stuff.

She suggested if I had to take migraine meds to take Excedrin Migraine instead.

And I’ll probably never know if having to take it every day for a few weeks damaged my body in any way. Hopefully by now it’s healed if so (it’s been a year).

      • SoftStarLight January 29, 2023 at 2:44 pm #

The recent Project Veritas expose does lend some credence though to the idea that Pfizer and likely all of big pharma is in the business of creating sickness and profiting off of creating treatments for it. So it does seem plausible that the mrna injections were intended to create illness for which treatments would be created thereby giving them a continuous loop of profit. Although part of me agrees with your assertion that they just wanted to kill off a lot of people with the injections. They are always talking about the need to depopulate so you almost are kinda silly if you don’t at least consider that as a possibility.

        • MaryQueen January 29, 2023 at 7:50 pm #

They’ve been doing it for at least 80 years, yep.

Make the public sick or capitalize off some disaster where people are poisoned, sell their poisonous crap. Some things never change.

Obviously, what used to be a some sleazoid opportunist snake-oil salesman coming to town once a year or two to unload his useless swill, is now a global machine crushing real medicine and healthcare.

          • SoftStarLight January 29, 2023 at 11:07 pm #

So how does polio fit in to all of this? Was the polio vaccine bad for people as well? Makes me wonder about any vaccine really. Maybe they are going to convince many people vaccines are bad and then hit us with a plague in which a vaccine is good but then everyone will be too afraid to take it. The level of wickedness could just really be bottomless

What a perfect exemplar of CFNism in that little bunch of posts.

        Night Howler Monkey comes along with an unfounded CT which all ‘makes sense’ if you’ve already accepted all the unreasonable precepts that are required to support it;

        GA rolls in with anecdotal support, then climbs on the train about how it’s all about money & Bill Gates (yawn);

MaryQAnonhas to throw in her two ha’p’th, with her usual level of contradictions: last week, she proclaimed to have been refusing allopathic treatments for years but has been using ibuprofen till 12 months ago – by accident, apparently – as usual, you can’t glean any useful truth from that dog’s breakfast of a post.

Then SSL comes in all wishy-washy agreeable, but also slightly questioning…but not really! (lol) …then finishes it all off with a recap of the Malthusian Nightmare you’re all suffering from.

        Perfect. Echo Chamber.

Ah! There is a faulty nature to your assertion that we are suffering from a Malthusian nightmare. If the mRNA injections are a kill shot which it looks like they are in many cases then it is not a Malthusian like nightmare at all. Correct me if I am wrong but Malthus contended that humans were going to die off because the population would grow to an unsustainable level. Whereas in the situation we are discussing the die off is created by people.

Additionally, I would assume you are naive at best to believe that it is not possible for people to conspire and collude to make a business out of tragedy. lol

The US has lost every war it has started since WW2 (and it didn’t actually win that one, the USSR did), except Grenada.

I don’t count Panama because that was basically a SWAT team raid gone wild. There was no reason to burn and destroy a city and kill thousands of people just to arrest one man.

And for the last 10 years or so the US has methodically been destroying its own military. Officer purges, white soldier purges, injection deaths and disabilities…..but the propaganda is still “We might have to invade Ukraine and kick Russia’s butt”.

    You and what army?
The trannie army with the pregnancy flight suits? With the planes that can’t fly in the rain and the tanks with the tracks that fall off?

The US didn’t win WWII, either. The Russians were largely responsible for taking the Germans out on the Eastern Front.

Had those resourced been directed elsewhere, things would have been quite different.

Heck, even with the Eastern Front, Had Hitler not mistakenly thought an attack would come at Calais instead of Normandy, that alone might have kept the Germans in for quite a while still.

The overestimation most Americans have of their wartime capabilities and accomplisments never ceases to amaze.

The ‘Great Food Reset’: Who’s Behind Plan to Reengineer the Global Food Supply?

Journalist James Corbett identifies the cast of characters driving the Great Food Reset, a plan to reengineer the global food supply under the guise of a fake food crisis.

    • SoftStarLight January 29, 2023 at 2:15 pm #

I’ve actually been posting about this issue. But I didn’t realize that it was literally being called a great food reset so that is interesting. I don’t think it is any coincidence that all of these farms and food plants are being destroyed. Perhaps even a point of why the globalists want a war in Ukraine is because there is so much wheat and grains grown there?

      • MaryQueen January 29, 2023 at 5:30 pm #

It might just be Corbitt’s name for it (Great Food Reset). I also don’t think there is any coincidence that farmers are paid to destroy their crops, and food plants are being burned down.

Ukraine is a big bread basket and that’s probably part of why the west wants it separated from Russia.

It’s taken from a passage in an 1888 book called “THE BLACK DEATH AND THE DANCING MANIA”

        “Nature is not satisfied
with the ordinary alternations of life and death,
        and the destroying angel
        waves over man and beast
        his flaming sword.”

Just heard from Col MacGregor what is perhaps the greatest defect of the Abrams Tank’s major achilles heel (there are so many deficiencies words crack and sometimes break under the burden). We already know the turbine powerplant is a gas guzzler, a maintenance and logistics nightmare, and the tank lacks an auto-loader. MacGregor points out the obvious (likely from his experience in the Iraqi desert): It’s a damn jet engine designed to fly at high altitude, sucking in air in copious quantities. At ground level it’s sucking in dirt and sand which will — duh — destroy the turbine.

I’m sure they figured out some sort of humongo air filter but the essential weakness remains. Filters clog, lose effectiveness, etc etc etc.

What a freakin’ cluster. Further proof that the US Dept of Defense procurement is structured to acquire complex weapons systems of dubious operational value at extraordinary cost (i.e., profit to the MIC and a future board position to the generals who order this crap).

Perhaps it’s apocryphal but there is a story from the early days of space cooperation between the USA and Russia. The Americans spent a million bucks designing a ball point pen that would write in zero-gravity. The Russians simply used a pencil.

    • Paula D January 29, 2023 at 2:44 pm #

I heard that sand (and snow) can clog up the engine, but I didn’t hear why. That makes sense.

      • The Man They Call Zazelle January 30, 2023 at 1:53 am #

        Same here of course…

Maybe after that, he went home, had a shower, checked his emails, etc., and went to bed early so he could apply for unemployment or welfare early the next day.

Then again, if I had enough money saved up, I might want to consider a plane ticket to some country in Africa to disappear in.

I found out some time ago that one hardly needed anything– any identification or visa or whatever– to just disappear in such places as Tanzania or Mozambique if recalled.

But in any case, some African countries might be happy to have someone from the USA with some medical education, yes?

He’s young, seems reasonably fit and has his whole life ahead of him. What with civilizational decline or slow collapse, how much does it matter that he ‘fucked up’.
Also, his face seems a bit like the kind of’ generic’ one that could easily disappear into the masses…
Grow a beard, get some glasses… and I and maybe most others will forget what he looked like in a few weeks or so as life moves on and new events even more perplexing than his occur. Some might not have even caught his news.

        • The Man They Call Zazelle January 30, 2023 at 1:58 am #

…Ironically, he might end up having a far better, more fulfilling life than he ever could have, had his event not occurred.

But I always wonder if maybe just maybe it would mean things could be better or like maybe things would get more exciting or sorta more alive if that makes sense. Lol anyways who really knows.
