You wouldn’t know it, but I actually published a whole bale of novels before I started writing nonfiction about architecture and our human ecology. All of the novels are currently out-of-print. You have to search the flea markets, the used bookshops, or the discontinued merchandise bin of the K-mart if you want to find them.  Some are better than others — it sometimes seems that I wrote them in another life.
