A very interesting chat as usual James, thank you. Indeed one can never judge the health, value or future value of an entity or an industry based upon the amount of “investment” money that is being pumped into it anymore. “Investment” is all just a big Casino. I wonder how much money the US Government pumps into this business now through the back door anyway? Some day for sure it will be nationalized if it is not already. In the end, We The People are on the hook for everything that is Too Big, to Fail, To Big to Jail, or Too Big to Succeed. That is what we do. That is why they still keep us around.

I completed reading “A Safe and Happy Place” a few days ago. Kunstler once again shocks me with his exclusive and smart perceptions on the human condition. I bought this book help with dissertation for a friend who is a big reader. She says it’s a page-turned and loves it. Kunstler is a great story teller!
