Eespecially Dumb Letters From Readers, Including 9/11 Conspiracy Mail Sent to Jim

Hi Jim,

I've followed your CFN site for about 4 years now. It seems to be stagnating of late and I'm not enjoying your critical evaluation of events as much as I used to. I now spend a lot more time at the Mish Economic Analysis site and Chris Martensons site to follow the debate on what is unfolding across the western nations. I think the problem is your site is now excessively a reflection of your interest in seeing society 'get what it deserves' rather than providing an observers commentary on whats actually going on. For the record I think your spectacular doom obsession is misplaced. There is a hard road to travel with societal and economic re-structuring in western nations … but history shows it will be a long drawn out descent, one person and one family at a time. Not some 'big-bang' event as you seem intent on focusing on. It will be every bit as destructive but not that 'spectacular'.

I hope you can make some adjustments in your approach to your column to bring it back to its former high standard.

All the best,

Dear Mr. Kunstler,

We began with your “Prolonged Emergency,” followed by Brown's “Plan B's”, advanced into Chris Martinson's “Crash Course.” Energized, we signed up in Andre Angelantoi's 6 consecutive 3-hourly Sat. afternon live sessions of his “Uncrash course.”

We are disappointed in your “Jive-loving Nation,” 26 Oct.

You seem to be unencumbered by the need to do any real work to fix the problems you bemoan. So, you spend your time criticizing the efforts of real people who are trying to find real solutions.

We have never cared much for critics.

Mr. Kunstler:

How a man of your brilliance can have his head so far up his ass about the 9/11 lies is a perplexity of enormous dimensions. It really is the most depressing situation, one for which there are no words to express my utter disappointment. I just don't get it.

James,

In response to your commentary on the wars in the Middle East I would have to recommend the following:

Also, I don't know why you vehemently defend the government's official story, but I would highly suggest a careful read of David Ray Griffin's books, particularly "The New Pearl Harbor" but also "Debunking 9/11 Debunking" among many of his other recent books.

With well over 60% of the citizens of New York and a smaller yet still impressive portion of the citizens of the nation believing certain elements of the government were complicit in the 9/11 attacks, you may be pushing much of your audience away by making such negative comments about those of us who question the official story.

History repeats itself. Governments have had false flag attacks to galvenize their populace for centuries.
