The State of the Union speech is a somewhat squishy national ritual. Since Franklin Roosevelt, presidents have delivered it early each year in-person to a joint session of congress, with every other dignitary in government on hand — except for one cabinet officer designated the “lone survivor,” who sits it out elsewhere in case, say, the Capitol gets blown up. Before Woodrow Wilson, presidents customarily sent over a written message. Article II, Section 3, Clause 1 of the constitution only stipulates that a president “from time to time” shall report to Congress on how the nation is doing.

Lately, it’s mostly just a made-for-TV special, like the Oscars, allowing a lot of familiar faces to preen before the cameras for the home-folks. Ronald Reagan introduced the gimmick of showboating heroes or victims of this-and-that seated up in the galleries, which has naturally devolved into a maudlin, cringeworthy feature of the show. But often presidents use the occasion to drop a ripe phrase on the big audience that captures the spirit of the moment: “The era of big government is over” (Bill Clinton); “the axis of evil” (G. W. Bush); FDR’s “four freedoms.” In 2020, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi introduced an instant op-ed closer feature to the proceedings, ripping up Mr. Trump’s speech behind his back in a striking display of pique, much applauded by the avatars of rising Wokesterdom, who had only days earlier seen their half-assed impeachment attempt flop.

Kinda looks like our current president, Joe Biden, will skip the grand show this year. Too busy playing “Mario Kart” with the grandkids, or something like that. The Washington press corps has given him a pass on it, apparently. There’s no chatter, no buzz on the cable channels or in The New York Times, though a few newsies have begun to whine about Mr. Biden’s general unwillingness to hold a routine press conference with freely-pitched questions — not hand-picked, vetted ones, as the president’s handlers have insisted.

How long will it be before the public realizes that Mr. Biden is being strictly concealed from view by his managers? And how long can they keep it up? A few more weeks, maybe, I’d guess. What did they think they were doing when they engineered the election of this empty suit, this blank cartridge, this political mannequin, this man-who-isn’t-there? Of all the hundred-million-odd adults over 35-years-of-age in this country, they picked this empty vessel to lead in a year of obvious crisis?

Apparently so — an act so collectively insane it makes you shudder to think about it. Like, the Democratic Party really thought this was a good idea? And who’s calling the shots behind this false front? Some committee chaired by Susan Rice? With directives coming into the Oval Office by messenger from Barack Obama’s Kalorama fortress, with, say, Eric Holder, Rahm Emmanuel, David Axelrod, John Brennan, and a few others charting the daily play-by-play?

So, you suspect that something weird like that is going on? I sure do. And I also suspect that when the truth comes out, the Democratic Party will have to face some pretty harsh music. Just the other day the public learned that 30 House Democrats are seeking to limit Mr. Biden’s sole authority over the launch codes for our nuclear missile arsenal. That doesn’t sound like a vote of confidence. Does White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki look like a cornered animal going about her daily briefings? The ongoing spectacle of the missing head-of-state is inching beyond embarrassing.

And then, what do the people of this country think when it becomes necessary to throw the switch on the 25th Amendment and remove poor Ol’ Joe from office on account of being simply unfit to continue serving? I’ll tell you what they’ll think: that the Democrats knowingly put an unfit man in high office. They’ll understand that they got played, scammed, hustled. They’ll be mighty pissed off. They may seek to learn a bit more about exactly how this happened, especially the sketchy mechanics of the November 3rd vote that put Ol’ Joe in the White House. Even some Democrats may demand answers. Of course, the cruelest scene in this scenario will be the big manufactured hoo-hah celebrating Kamala Harris as the first female president — which in itself may be difficult to pull off, since so many Democrats have declared there’s no such thing as two sexes.

Meanwhile, you better pray for the bond market and, in turn, the equities markets, and, in turn, the whole shootin’ match of the economy (whatever remains of it, that is). Yesterday the benchmark ten-year US Treasury peeked above the dangerous 1.5 percent mark. What this tells you is that the world is expecting the dollar to go down substantially and with that, the value of US Bonds, which foreign holders will seek to dump on a market not eager to buy them up, meaning the Federal Reserve will have to step in and buy them, meaning they will have to create a shitload of new dollars out of thin air to do that, which will drive down the purchasing power of each dollar, which will further inflame the world’s urge to dump devaluing US bonds — a vicious feedback that could crash the banking system just as Covid 19 begins fading away to nothing.

Oh, and note: rising interest rates on US Treasuries will force the government to pay much more to service our massive debts. That will negate any of the fiscal ambitions of Kamala Harris’s shadow government — unless the committee running America decides to utterly destroy the US Dollar. The bait-and-switch game playing out in the White House is just an overture to all that.

“. . . . what did they think they were doing when they elected this empty suit . . . . “? They knew exactly what they were doing and it seems to be going according to plan. The majority of people don’t want to see or hear from presidents for a long time, I would imagine. Maybe I’m just speaking for myself.

Virtual is all the rage now. In Ol’ Sleepy Joe’s case, it’s for the best. Whatever it is he might have to say, no one’s interested in listening to it.

I expect that long after he is dead and secretly buried, his VR persona will continue to be our useless figurehead.

If “Dr.” Jill could be called to testify before Congress under oath she should be asked this question:

Has Joe Biden ever signed his Power-of-Attorney over to you due to fading mental capacity and if yes when exactly did this occur?

Let’s say he DID sign such a document giving his wife authority over all his legal/medical matters and he did it prior to the election last year. Would this mean every Executive Order he has signed since becoming President would be null and void?

If certain individuals in Joe Biden’s personal and political sphere KNEW he was mentally unqualified to be President and they secretly met and agreed on how their puppet would be handled, would this be considered as criminal elder abuse and a general criminal conspiracy to perpetrate a massive fraud against the American people and Congress?

Doesn’t this letter from many members of the Armed Services Committee in Congress asking Biden to share his duty of launching a nuclear weapons strike with a select group create a Constitutional Crises because it is now a National Security matter considering all our enemies see Biden in a weakened and frail mental state?

As to Psaki, I saw a meme about her yesterday where she comes off like a little kid giving a book report when she never read the book.

You’re spot on with something here. As I said below, though, with the shadow government cabal in control, there is absolutely zero accountability for people in that sphere. So they don’t care if they are exposed, caught, etc. They hold all the reins now.

The Dem’s most heartfelt wish was to have a woman president and the cream in the jeans wish was for a colored woman. But they knew early on that they had no suitable woman at hand, much less a WOC. Some smart political strategist/strategists were at work here coming up with a brilliant plan.
The Dems’ plan was always to sneak a WOC into the white house and Sleepy Joe was the perfect stalking horse to accomplish that goal. I said that from the beginning when the orgy of liberal Negro worship kicked into high gear this summer past. The priority above all other considerations was to get a WOC as president, but it couldn’t be done without hiding her behind a decoy candidate who had to be a familiar face. So, the face that came to be President Obiden was absolutely best they could pick, with an ironclad guaranty he could be quickly disposed of early on in his term. He’ll be gone within a year, two at most and if this doesn’t happen I’ll shit in my hat and wear it.
We will have that unelectable WOC president and what a shit show it will be.

      • MaryV February 26, 2021 at 12:19 pm #

The Wokie white women liberals will cheer as women lead us into nuclear war and tank the country. Then men will say, ‘see? women can’t lead!” This will be when the country lurches to the extreme right because of how bad the left effed it up.

POC better watch out then, because the worship of them and the fetishizing over them will no doubt swing the other way, too.

Not fun times ahead. Thanks to the two-headed good cop/bad cop circus we know as the D and R parties.

Same owners, just different players. 100% manipulation of the masses.

      • Yohannon February 26, 2021 at 12:27 pm #

Tucker Carlson said the same a few months ago. I think this is it. People would feel sorry for such a poor old man, and he wouldn’t have to answer any questions. Dominion and the Mail in Ballot Scam would do the rest.

I think Mr Kunstler might be amazed at how many Democrats know and are fine with this though. They’re going to get another Messiah in Kamala Harris. Who cares how? Democracy is simply war to these folks – rules are for the other guy.

Belief systems are a function of the amount of Energy allocated in running them.

And, they wouldn’t last past that supply of Energy.

However, “Energy, like time, flows from past to future“.

i.e fossil fuels may even create new religions, but what sticks is beliefs that formulated with the least humans-choreographed energy.

Posts and comments these days will come and go quickly along with what they say – as fossil fuels deplete to scarcity by the day.

          Wailing.

    • patrickd February 26, 2021 at 3:06 pm #

@shotho, you’re not alone. I have not listened to a politician’s speech in decades. They are grifters, liars, terrorists, war criminals. Why would anyone want to listen to what they say?
I’m not the sharpest tool in the box, but my general impression is that the banking families call the shots, and they have their flunkies to tell people in government what to do. I don’t know enough to know who the flunkies are. Are they the 1% who work in Wall Street? Do they include the corporate board directors who manage the economy? Probably.
I think the “job” of the government is to create chaos, come up with new narratives every day, so that nobody can ever make any sense out of what is going on. Lie about everything, and always double down. Always say that Russia is doing what the US is doing, you know, being aggressive everywhere in the world. Ditto with China.
Why listen to these people? It’s all lies, all of it. Those who speak a little bit of truth probably are doing it in order to start getting deliveries of duffel bags full of hundred dollar bills to shut them up. It’s important to remember that our public “servants” are scum, the grifter class, criminal to the core. Is there even one exception? One of the Pauls, maybe? I’m very skeptical of there being one, although Paul Craig Roberts was a federal employee once, and he seems to tell it like it is, quite often. Maybe he is one.

For many the question has become, not who is running Joe Biden, but who is running Barack Obama.

I just recently found out that the Australians have been talking about Joe’s obvious infirmities for months. Good to know.

They also aren’t as passive as they’ve been portrayed about living under a police state either.

    • thirdcoastlegend February 26, 2021 at 10:32 am #

      It’s simple –

Obama takes his orders from Xi.

Obama passes Biden’s orders to Rice every morning.

Rice runs them over to the Oval Office around the time Joe is rolling out of bed.

      • Beryl of Oyl February 26, 2021 at 10:41 am #

Sounds about right. I think Obama must be adding his own personal touch with all that tranny stuff though.

Commies aren’t that big on “gender”.

Speaking of personal touch, I see that diplomats were “mistakenly” given anal swab tests for the bat flu.

That’s good news about Aussies, I hope they are fighting back.

I have read that it is Soros who calls a lot of the shots at the level above Obama. However, I also read that Obama was replacing Soros in the heirarchy of the cabal. He has a shitload of power.

So I agree with JHK that Susan Rice (no doubt a ‘general’ in Obama’s cabal army) is pulling the strings for her boss Obama. It’s essentially Obama’s 3d term. Cackling Kamala will then take his place as primary puppet, once the CGI Joe is no longer being bought by the masses.

I thought everyone was aware of the Nobel Peace Prize President’s history.

Barack Obama was a teenage stoner living the good life on the beaches of Hawaii. One morning two gay Special Service agents on vacation were taking their morning constitutional on the beach when they came across a semi-comatose half-black kid laying in the sand, The amazing thing about him was that he was babbling to himself with such golden prose that the Agents were taken aback. After taking him back to their hotel room and using him until they were completely satiated’ it occurred to them that his half breed coloration and verbal gifts might be of value to their employers., They bundled him up and shipped him back on Air Force 1 to the Chicago Cyborg Institute. After five years of intensive programing and robotic brain surgery through his ears, Cyborg Obama was commissioned as an apprentice politician.

The Cyborg Institute has many such programmed politicians planted in positions where they serve as CongressWhores, but President Barack Obama was their crowning achievement. Able to behave as a perfect Trojan Horse while keeping his sheeple content with the belief that he was the Second Coming of Christ.

      • benr February 27, 2021 at 9:43 am #

Just so you know Obama is very touchy about his huge ears.

Sadly, Trump failed. What we should have seen was an invocation of the Insurrection Act.

I fail to see how leaving office peacefully was the better option. He had legal options, but I suspect he wasn’t willing to risk open war with the seditionists. Now the seditionists have power, and there is virtually no one of consequence to step in.

          • Blackbird February 26, 2021 at 12:16 pm #

In my opinion, Trump wasn’t willing to sacrifice his comfort for the good of the country. He failed before even being elected.

          • MaryV February 26, 2021 at 12:23 pm #

Because Trump was controlled opposition. They need him to placate the right wing, who are still too sedated by their Qanon addiction to act.

Worked out perfectly! If Trump wasn’t controlled opposition, why is Clinton still walking around free?

He is an actor and the swamp are his people.

          • Yohannon February 26, 2021 at 12:39 pm #

Yes, Peter Byrnes reports that he seemed to give up after Pence failed. General Flynn and Sidney Powell couldn’t get access to him after a while. One possibility: He wrote that Executive Order and put a few good generals in place hoping to scare them off. But they called his bluff. They knew they had been seen – but knowing and doing something about it are two different things. They noted his minimal preparations and knew they were far better prepared. So they went for it.

They probably knew he would choose comfort and safety. He’s jealous for the success of his kids as well. In contrast, they were prepared to start a Civil War and/or take the West Coast out of the union.

Another possibility: He knew the Army wouldn’t come in on his side, and he wanted to avoid a needless bloodbath if Patriots mustered. Of course the hardcore say that that would have been preferable to this utter debacle of demoralization.

          • draupnir February 26, 2021 at 12:55 pm #

I don’t think he was controlled. They went through quite a lot to try and get him. That stuff wasn’t faked.

He is also on record saying he had no idea the corruption was this bad.

          • C.O.Jones February 26, 2021 at 6:06 pm #

Trump did indeed fail to defend the Constitution as the oath he swore demanded. I have read in several places that, like Ross Perot, his family was threatened and he decided to leave peacefully. He had many legal options to prosecute seditionists and insurrectionists for YEARS and chose to tweet about the stock market instead, setting us up to be handed over to the communist Chinese.

Despite voluminous evidence of election fraud, Trump was unable to even get a court to hear a case. How does that happen? He was inept and impotent.

Trump did exactly what he was supposed to do and the electoral system in the United States is a farce. Mission Accomplished.

            Night Owl

You are aware that incoming Presidents receive a Global Security Briefing on the day after Inauguration? In attendance are the heads of all 14 Spook Agencies as well as representatives of the key Malignant Overlords.

Playing on one entire wall of the conference room is an endless loop large scale video of President Kennedy’s head exploding into his wife’s lap. If you are a Clinton, Bush or Obama it is hardly noticeable because you are already chattel, but I’m sure it caught the attention of somebody like Trump who had campaigned about mobilizing the class enemy. LOL

One of the outstanding mysteries of the Trump era is why the threat was never carried out. Much less messy than fabricating and selling a delusional fantasy like Russiagate.

          • Night Owl February 27, 2021 at 4:19 pm #

Thor, I have heard of that, but I don’t know much about it or what exactly it entails.

One thing is exceedingly clear though, what we are watching and experiencing was planned a long time ago.

          • Uncle Bob February 28, 2021 at 9:27 am #

I think Trump may have been worried about assassination threats. I also think he feared going after the revolutionaries because it could be spun as proof of the MSM’s charges that he was a bigot: by going after BLM and Antifa, which were (and, incredibly, still are) seen as peaceful protesters in the MLK mold, people would be bombarded with images of Army troops shooting at those nice, peaceful white kids who were “standing up against injustice.” That would’ve killed Trump’s support from minorities and made suburban white women hate him all the more.

Like a few days ago when Joe gave a short speech about the importance of wearing masks.

Then he left the podium and walked over to his mask wearing entourage (minders) and Carmelita had to remind him, “Your mask!!”

Joe ambled over to the podium and dug through some papers then donned his all important mask.

            Ha!

          • Yohannon February 26, 2021 at 12:42 pm #

I haven’t read it, but one blogger I follow said that in his book on the Reset, he himself says Covid isn’t really very dangerous. He admits it’s just a pretext for Reset.

          • ThorsHammer February 27, 2021 at 10:45 am #

            Abby

Recently an Illinois congressman posted an interesting video about the side effects of mask wearing. The normal % of oxygen in the air at sea level is 21%. Using a sensitive testing device he tested the ambient reading and then tested the oxygen and CO2 readings inside the masks of subjects wearing a variety of mask designs. Without exception the O2 readings were between 17 and 18%— far below the CDC official safe air standards. At the same time CO2 saturation was 2-3 times safe levels.

So perhaps President Obiden’s reluctance to wear a mask unless absolutely necessary is not a sign of senility but of intelligence.

Fortunately for we of the deplorable
classes the Malignant Overlords were hard at work preventing BAD IDEAS from gaining a foothold. All traces were removed overnight.

          • Ishabaka February 28, 2021 at 10:22 am #

If wearing a mask lowers your blood oxygen so much you become discombobulated, answer this:
How has every surgeon and operating room crew in the USA worn masks during every operation for the last 100 years, and managed to perform well?

Are you referring to Klaus Schwab founder of the World Economic Forum; famously quoted as predicting our future, “You’ll own nothing, and you’ll be happy.”

Every so often one of these globalists ass-holes can’t resist rubbing our faces in the dog shit they have planned for us. It gives them such joy.

exactly. the bunkers also provide a sense of security (however false) for the pedo-elites as they are afraid of the deplorables. They’re hopelessly outnumbered by deplorables, and that alone must keep them up at night.

One wonders how much truth Stanley Kubrick slipped into his films under cover of comedy and fiction. He died while completing “Eyes Wide Shut”. Rumor has it those who edited the film sliced off the most damning parts, vis-a-vis elitists performing occult sex rituals.

          • Blackbird February 26, 2021 at 7:09 pm #

            hmuller,

I often wonder if Kubrick was trying to tell “us” something, or trying to seem to (like in my opinion Oliver Stone). Good movies either way (you to Ollie). I’ve heard that Kubrick’s direction of “Blood Meridian” is “the best movie you’ll never see”. Maybe Stanley is the guy who tipped the fake moon rock over so that viewers could see the “C” stamped on the underside…

          • abbybwood February 26, 2021 at 7:33 pm #

Stanley Kubrick, before he died, said, “The world is run by pedophiles.”

Little known (but shouldn’t be) Nicole Kidmann who starred in the movie with her husband, has a father who died in New Zealand after being arrested for child porn/trafficking.

I have read one of his victim’s accounts.

One wonders why he chose her to be in the film given she was brought up in the world he was ‘exposing.’

          • GreenAlba February 28, 2021 at 7:13 am #

I’m not much into slebs but I’ve just read the account of the alleged victim too.

And several accounts of NK’s father’s death, which happened in Singapore while he was visiting his daughter.

So we have one fib already. And who knows about the rest? He certainly doesn’t seem to have ever been arrested.

    • atlantaport February 26, 2021 at 11:01 am #

I am not a fan of KH but she is a natural born citizen, born in Oakland and meets the qualifications to be president.

      • Beryl of Oyl February 26, 2021 at 11:09 am #

That is debatable. TPTB will be able to decide either way, just who is going to stop them?

        • Blackbird February 26, 2021 at 11:37 am #

I think the Masters of the Universe will be just fine with Precedent Kamala, she’s incompetent, corrupt, and colorful – what’s not to like? However, once Kamal rotates into the top position, a Number 2 will need to be appointed (no need to trouble those annoying voters). I’m betting on the Hildabeast – and I can’t see her playing the role of Number 2 for long.

“That is debatable. TPTB will be able to decide either way, just who is going to stop them?”

It’s very well established that persons born on US soil are “natural-born citizens” automatically at the moment of birth … they do not have to go through a citizenship process, and their natural-born rights are not determined by the citizenship status of the parents.

The only exception to this is the children of parents who work for a foreign government (nobility, politicians, diplomatic staff, military staff, etc) – the framers of the constitution were more than a little paranoid about foreign infiltration.

Kamala Harris’ eligibility is actually stronger than that of both John McCain and Ted Cruz – who were born outside the US.

          • Blackbird February 26, 2021 at 1:02 pm #

Good point regarding the children of foreign officials. Foreign parents here legally have a kid, the kid is not a US citizen. On the other hand, foreign parents here illegally have a kid, the kid is a US citizen? Precedent-setting court decisions in the 1870’s and ’80’s made clear the intent of the 14th Amendment.

            “Just a piece of paper.”

    • Yohannon February 26, 2021 at 12:47 pm #

Well Obama was clearly not eligible, but we didn’t get anywhere with that – even after he produces a fraudulent birth certificate. So Harris will be fine with them.

They shutdown the economy to hide their malfeasance and now it is going to bite us all in the ass. The semi-conductor shortage is a real and very serious thing given that pretty much everything runs on these “chips” including the products that I manufacture. We’ve been told that the earliest we can expect to see the semiconductors that we must have is late September. What are we all supposed to do until then?

Don’t worry, Diaper Joe has signed an executive order to establish a commission to look into the matter as if they can print real world products like they print money.

There is hope. nVidia is trying to segment the market along that fault. (Geez, did I just accidentally drop some puns?)

    • JohnAZ February 26, 2021 at 10:50 am #

I used to work for Honeywell then Atmel building semiconductors.

I do not understand how semiconductors could fall behind by five months. The wafer lines turn up flow very easily and unless a major yield problem happens, they ought to be able to keep up.

Unless, someone is manipulating. I have lost touch, but I know a lot of semiconductor manufacturing moved to the Far East and China. Is this an indication of what the Biden years are going to be like, contractions in US productivity in manufacturing are coming? So far, CCP has threatened to curtail rare earths shipments to the US, are they sending a signal with semiconductors? Amazon has significant delivery delays starting, Walmart with empty shelves, what could be a common denominator? China?

How much has the Biden administration contributed to this? Is China feeling it’s oats as it approaches the US? If Obama is an indication of what is coming, the US is going to be a dog with its tail between its legs.

If Trump does not come out swinging on Sunday, it is over everybody!!

      • thirdcoastlegend February 26, 2021 at 10:57 am #

        John-

I recommend reading the Semiconductor Industry’s annual 2020 reports.

Those reports make it abundantly clear how crucial South Korean and Taiwan have become. Particularly South Korea, who now dominate memory production with 2/3rds (65%) of world output.

        • JohnAZ February 26, 2021 at 11:44 am #

And do you think there is a little pressure from their verge large Red neighbor to the west?

          Taiwan is a lost cause.

          • thirdcoastlegend February 26, 2021 at 11:59 am #

            John-

Absolutely there is pressure from the mainland, and I absolutely agree Taiwan is a lost cause.

I don’t hold out much hope for South Korea either. Look at how things went in the ’50s when China was fresh off their civil war and didn’t even have enough rifles to equip their troops.

Given your background, I’m sure you realize how difficult it is to re-home semiconductor fabs.

          • Yohannon February 26, 2021 at 12:54 pm #

Yeah, if we were serious about protecting Taiwan, we wouldn’t have build up Communist China. You can’t do both. We did both. But the build up of Communist China is a much bigger thing and trumps our concern for Taiwan or their defenses.

Either stupidity or they always had another Objective in mind. I say the latter.

Ditto: You can’t have a welfare state and open borders. We have both. Their objective is to destroy America as such.

        • Dr_Wellington_Yueh February 26, 2021 at 2:59 pm #

The article I link above re: nVidia states the new cards are on Samsung 8nm process. Not TSMC, which is Taiwan. This is the ‘shift in supply chain’ becoming visible. Fear that China will retake Taiwan.

Ultimately, it’s a good thing that each major country grow it’s own industries, and chip fab is extremely important from a security standpoint. It’ll screw us bad in the West because the focus is now on profit taking, not quality product. Intel seems to have become insane, so the answer is to rely on a country that desperately needs to reunite with it’s missing piece.

          Gawd, I miss DEC!

          • thirdcoastlegend February 26, 2021 at 6:26 pm #

I failed to make clear that mainland China already has enormous amounts of interaction with Taiwan in every possible aspect of society.

I just don’t know how Taiwan can keep any secrets from the mainland at this point. It’s like a gnat fighting an elephant.

It’s amazing how much Taiwan has achieved to get on the bleeding edge of the semiconductor industry.

Having that bleeding edge sitting 100 miles off the coast of China is an enormous problem for the entire world.

Nickelthrower – I work in the auto glass service industry, have for nearly 40 years now, and parts and supplies are getting hard to source for our business, also. We do lots of our work for auto body repair shops, and jobs are stacking up there too, because of the shortages of parts to fix wrecked cars. A huge part of the problem is the complexity and variety of parts needed for cars. Needless complexity I say. Some cars have so many gadgets loaded onto windshields that there may be twelve different windshield part numbers for any given car. What warehouse wants to stock all those parts?

  7. Zoltar February 26, 2021 at 10:21 am #

Harris was created in the Clinton skunkworks, designed to follow up the first “black” president with the first “female” president. At some point the Obama machine took over her management, still supposing that with enough money and marketing savvy behind her she could be forced down the electorate’s throat.
As it turned out, of course, she was utterly unelectable, unable to win a single delegate for the Democratic nomination after all of that extravagant investment, so she became a Trojan Horse – slipped past the White House door for the few weeks or months that the gullible public believes they elected Senile Old Joe Biden to be their Commander in Chief.
At some point when Kamala’s managers calculate that approval of this administration has had its last hurrah Joe will inevitably be declared unfit, the public will be predictably gobsmacked by this unforeseeable development, and Harris will be slipped into the Oval Office. She will be despised in the same way and for the same reasons that Hillary is despised but, as with Obama, her identity status will shield her from liberal criticism.
The whole administration is stocked with a menagerie of minorities for that reason: if you oppose some ghastly person with a rotten record then you can be attacked as bigoted against “the first albino transsexual Inuit to head the Department of Transfabulation.”
This stratagem will work with partisan Democrats until the midterm elections. By then the Party will likely find itself holding the biggest flaming sack of dogshit in American history. It will be a fitting irony that by then the ever-clueless public will have largely forgotten that the Republicans helped fill and light the bag.

    • Beryl of Oyl February 26, 2021 at 10:24 am #

        BRH

You know, the thing that may turn things around may be $8 a gallon gasoline and not being able to buy a new cell phone this year. Omigod! What a disaster.

More important though is the availability of drugs, take away drugs or raise the prices and the entire Left will lose its raisin d’etre. Blocking the cartels at the border will never happen as the drugs are the lifeblood of this country, keeping the financial world in business, and keeping the jobless access to something to ease the pain of hopelessness. I wonder what % of this country’s depends on illicit trades. I think an accurate answer would not even phase a country who would elect such a group of incompetents as the US did in November.

Want you country back, throw the cartels out, tighten the border against the illicit trades, build the pipeline and frack up a storm, bring back the semiconductor and all other basic materials industries.

Which would make the US number one again, able to chart its own path and not depend on enemies for anything.

Which is exactly why Biden et al will not do any of it. Their world is dependency, drug ridden dependency, public dependency on the government, dependency on enemies, anything to increase their power.

I will guarantee you one thing, the leaders of the CCP are all shaking their heads and chuckling, not believing that the government of the US would just hand them the no.1 position. In their hands is the Paris Climate accord, shredded, as the mechanism of their takeover. While we subsidize the CCP building coal fired plants, the citizens of the US may be paying high gas rates and shivering.

America, you did it to yourself. Idiots!!!

I saw this comment on another site. Please forgive the length.

THIS IS FROM A WOMAN WHO OWNS PROPERTY ON THE MEXICO / UNITED STATES BORDER. THIS IS IN REAL TIME, HAPPENING RIGHT NOW!

          Lin Myers Ellis:

“I live on the Border and NO one but us knows what is happening.
“I live 1/2 mile from the border in El Indio, Texas. Last week, we had over 40 people pass through our ranch. One group of about 15 men pulled a gun on my husband and had a 13 yr old Mexican girl that they kidnapped from Guerrerro, MX. She had blood all over her and had urinated on herself.
My husband was able to, with the help of Border Patrol agents in a helicopter who passed over, get the gun from the illegal man (he was Honduran) and they rushed the poor girl to the emergency room for help because she had in fact been kidnapped and gang raped by these men. This is just one of many stories we have.
Two nights ago, 3 men came up to our house. One of them was an elderly man who was almost dead. We gave them water and protein bars, called BP and 911 for the man to go to the emegency room.
We are kind people and believe in helping people in need BUT there have been 3 attacks on my husband on our ranch, 2 of which were directly at my home, in the last 3 months. And that really means something because we are considered an area that does not NEED alot of help!!!
I got so MAD when I watched and heard what Pelosi and Schumer said concerning Trump’s “manufactured” drama with the border.
That is such garbage!!!! They are ignorant liars!!! How many people have to be hurt or attacked?
There has to be someone in our government who stands up and helps our Border Patrol. From Eagle Pass to Laredo, there are only 3-5 guys on call, and it could be 2 guys against a group of 50+.
Its horrible!! We need help!! The wall needs to be built, not at the port of entries but between them.
Pelosi is a moron if she thinks that added more security at the borders will help because, Hello Nancy, they are NOT COMING THROUGH THE BORDERS.
THEY ARE COMING THROUGH MESQUITE AND BRUSH.

Wow, a quotable line in every paragraph today. And only had to hit the thesaurus twice (turns out my prior understanding was correct for each word, just a bit cloudy).

A good peek at our nation’s oft unseen, dry cynical clarity that bobs just beneath society’s surface.

    Particularly enjoyed this gem:

“celebrating Kamala Harris as the first female president — which in itself may be difficult to pull off, since so many Democrats have declared there’s no such thing as two sexes.”

    • Disaffected February 26, 2021 at 11:33 am #

That last line is a particularly great point. What with genders up in the air now and open to personal redefinition, I wonder how long it will be until races are equally malleable? As in, if this whole reparations thing takes off (and you can already sense that it will), how many whites will say genetics be damned and redefine themselves as black? Wouldn’t that jam a big ol’ monkey wrench in the gears? And the shits of it is, it would be no more illogical than all this gender fluidity nonsense. What a fucking country!

I think white males just haven’t fully embraced the possibilities for all this ID Pol lunacy. We can play that game too!

      • MaryV February 26, 2021 at 12:34 pm #

We should all idenfity ‘on the spectrum’ after all, a gender is really just a personality… we have potentially 7 billion genders on the planet. Let’s use it!

Diversity for everyone! I can identify as a raccoon, you can identify as a can of beer. Who is to say we’re not being authentic or truthful? You’re not allowed to question a trans, lest you be deemed a TERF or a bigot.

A woman already did identify as black – and I don’t mean Dolziel. Some model from another country.

I agree with you – it’s only a matter of time. The antiracism agenda ensures that white people are now on the outs, and disgusting beings that should be licking the shoes of POC. So how long before whites start ‘identifying’ out of their race?

This has all been engineered quite exquisitely.

        • Disaffected February 26, 2021 at 4:11 pm #

LOL! Once upon a time I could have identified as a can of beer and not been lying one bit. Those were the days!

Neat. Curious to know…will I not see that check either, like the last one?

      • Beryl of Oyl February 26, 2021 at 10:45 am #

I never got any stimulus check, and I’m finding more and more people who also didn’t.

        • SW February 26, 2021 at 11:08 am #

The actual money they pretend they’re going to dole out is $1400 per person. Except they fail to mention there are people who won’t qualify so, since we don’t know how many will actually get it, it’s impossible to say how much actually goes to people. Since the US has about 330 million people, if everyone got a check, it would be about 500 billion. So that leaves a TRILLION dollars in this stimulus bill. Part (according to a chart I saw) is to “reopen the schools” — why would the schools need billions of dollars to reopen? They’re still standing. It makes no sense.

          • FarmBoy February 26, 2021 at 11:19 am #

What actually makes sense in your country? No Supreme Court, no rule of law, censorship of conservatives, missing trillions of dollars, printing of trillions of dollars every month, a quackzine and on and on – daily new lies, corruption piled on more corruption, military attacks in Middle East. Sorry, More surprises coming.

          • hmuller February 26, 2021 at 12:16 pm #

About reopening the schools. It seems the Teacher’s Union activists would love to stay home forever and collect a salary. But if they must return to the classroom, I’ll bet they demand and get extra hazard pay for facing all those infectious little delinquents, every one a possible viral angel of death. Oh the horror!.

          • Yohannon February 26, 2021 at 1:02 pm #

Imagine how much most Teachers must hate those brats! They’re been lying all these years. The Truth comes out. I don’t blame them a bit, but of course they need to be fired and the “schools” closed. Forever…..

          • MaryV February 26, 2021 at 1:08 pm #

I’ve seen a picture of a classroom with plastic cubicles surrounding each desk, and another of band practice with the kids tootling away, each inside a green tent just large enough to stand upright in-the poor kid with the tuba! As such efforts couldn’t possibly stem the spread of a virus, i postulate the purpose of such things is more intended as a psychological blow. Imagine the despair of children caged like that inside a cage, unable to interact with each other.

I got 2 so far and I live in Canada !! First one was from Trump.
Hoping for the $1200.00 soon. Too bad your dollar is now so low against the Canadian dollar.
Trump’s check for $1200 cashed out as $1400.00 in Canadian.
I’m a permanent resident living in Canada for 35 years.
I do have a $170.00 /month S.S. check from the US. Guess that’s how I got on the stimuliss list.

With all those factories and rare earth deposits?

China has almost all of it.

If that runs out they can just send human waves over the border into Siberia to secure the rare earths there. The Russians don’t have enough bullets to stop them.

      • ThorsHammer February 27, 2021 at 11:25 am #

The state of Idaho has large deposits of rare earth minerals. The problem is that they are embedded in even larger deposits of Thorium and the purveyors of the Peaceful Atom have gotten Thorium classified as a radioactive substance. As a result the Idaho rare earth metals are too expensive to mine and are worthless. Not that we have any ability to refine them.

A win-win situation. Westinghouse gets a protected market for it’s light water uranium power plants with the hydrogen explosion swimming pools mounted on top and can re-license them far beyond their design service life and continue to supply custom one-of-a-kind zirconium fuel rods at massive mark-ups. China gets a monopoly on liquid fueled meltdown-proof thorium reactors that they have developed from the original Weinberg Oak Ridge National Laboratory design that we gave to them. They have 400+++ staff working toward commercialization of the LFTR reactors that can be built on an assembly line and delivered for 1/10 the cost of the 40 year old Fukushima uranium light water cooled reactors from the US. And the US gets to continue down the dead end tunnel of fracked natural gas to run generators and keep the lights on for another 48 months.

ps The residual amount of Thorium in the ash slag pile of a de-commissioned coal fired plant reportedly approaches the energy content of the coal burned in the life of the plant.

Excellent comment. It’s unfortunate that the self-face-diapering masses have already been indoctrinated into the new Covid religion, and must perform its rituals daily. One includes listening to mainstream media fear porn and ‘science’ made up on the spot (variants, etc.) and shaming neighbors, and snitching on businesses… then comes the two minutes hate sessions on NextDoor and Twitter.

Meanwhile, millions of others are trying to get on with life, but can’t for the most part because the maskochists and their high priests (petty tyrants) are calling the shots.

The shell game being played at the highest levels, out in the open, is so incredibly bald-faced and delicate that it should have fallen apart decades ago (or been dismantled by proverbial brickbats).

But TPTB clearly figured out how to make a majority of the population somehow invested in their “belief in the system”, rather than “the actual state of the system”.

That’s the only thing keeping these jagoffs in office and living life on another tier unknown and unavailable to us lumpen.

going to drift until it hits that iceberg in the form of the economic collapse which you correctly predict. Then it’s Weimar Republic all over again. Future historians, however, will thank you for your chronicles describing the end of the American Republic.

You forgot to mention the physical invasion after the economy goes off the edge.

By whom? Throw a dart at the board, who knows. But there are many players waiting in the wings to pounce on stage when we’re at our weakest (and therefore most disorganized).

      • thirdcoastlegend February 26, 2021 at 10:52 am #

The PLAN and PLAAF will quickly grab Taiwan.

I see invasion of the CONUS as highly unlikely, unless Biden invites the PLA in under the guise of UN peacekeepers.

        • Blackbird February 26, 2021 at 1:14 pm #

No need for an invasion, too much work, too messy and inefficient – and then you always have to follow up with an occupation. China will sit back and let us destroy ourselves. Once we collapse from self-flagellation we US zombies will do what our master tells us, whomever that master is.

Actually Mango, I could forsee Gov. Newsom inviting in the PLA as measure to protect Californians from WHITE SUPREMACISTS!

Seeing as how CALpers is headed up by an officer in Chinese Intel, and China uses CALpers as its personal slush fund, Xi Jingping would gladly oblige.

PLA Divisions landing in Baja, Long Beach, Big Sur and SanFran should just about do it. Beijing Biden could deploy the USS Harvey Milk and the new Drag Queen Divisions to ensure PLA troops land safely and the whole operation goes smoothly. Mayor Breed in SF will host the welcoming ceremonies in Karl Marx Square, unfurl the Red Flag, and lead the gathering mobs in a rendition of The International.

    • MrMangoOnMyShoulder February 26, 2021 at 10:43 am #

Lars – I guarantee there will be a comeuppance…at some point. And it will not be planned in advance. It will just take place, and likely won’t be pretty.

But I do agree that there will be no rectification of the state of things through any official/legal channels. Any semblance of that will be for ratings only, then they will lift the edge of the rug and sweep.

      • SW February 26, 2021 at 11:01 am #

Lars — The ship of state is getting closer and closer to the iceberg but we’re no luxury liner anymore. What will be sunk when it hits are the remnants of what the US was before the covid noose around our necks strangled us. I saw a pie chart the other day about how the stimulus bill money was to be distributed and it was pure fantasy. But the fiscal hole that just keeps getting deeper is reality.

    “…when the truth comes out…”
Going to have to wait till Judgement Day for this one.
The Fed can keep interest rates under control by bond purchases.
It cannot keep confidence in the currency.
    So the endgame is hyperinflation.

This is likely to happen in the European Union before the US as the ECB and Eurocrats are much more irresponsible than the FED.
You will get advance warning in the US. It remains to be seen if it will be heeded.

“The misery of the loss of income for small savers is ignored along with the damage to private sector pensions and the higher insurance premiums compensating for lower investment returns. The whole thing is a deepening morass, but it seems central bankers are determined to continue with these policies nonetheless.”

There’s something in there about negative interest rates looming on the horizon and a great quote from Virgil:

The idea that the French are on top of the intelligence: I am reminded of having read some time back that from the beginning the DGSE (France’s equivalent of the CIA) did not care to take a bite of the “…lone nut gunman…” fairy tale from Dallas.

It was also rumored that Jackie O, a fluent speaker of the language and known francophile, was filled in on the details by the French (while our boys stood there looking at their shoes). She is said to have had her prior suspicions confirmed privately.

Ties in with the action of the Corsican mafiosi in Marseilles – Antoine Guerini and Lucien Sarti, both wild cowboys who unfortunately succumbed to lead poisoning before they could spill any beans.

The question has been, How will that happen with the US propping up Israel? WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden on Thursday ordered airstrikes on buildings in Syria that the Pentagon said were used by Iranian-backed militias, in retaliation for rocket attacks on U.S. targets in neighboring Iraq.
      ==

Why not target the Ayatollahs directly in Iran? This looks very weak to me. And I’m pretty sure the Ayatollahs the Iraqis and the Saudis see it the same. Not good.

      This is Obama 2.0

    • Uncle Abraham February 26, 2021 at 12:03 pm #

The Biden bombing of a structure in Syria held by Iran-backed militias was retaliation for recent attacks on U.S. targets across the border in Iraq. It doesn’t negate his administration’s push to resume dialogue with Iran over a return to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) – indeed it supports the process. This isn’t Israel’s plan. The only thing taken over by the fictitious Joos, 100th Avatar, is your mind.

        Although you would like to.

You want it so bad. That every criticism of Israel and the “Israeli” Americans that push a foreign policy that places Israel and the security of its neighborhood first, be marginalized as ant-semitic.

        Wouldn’t you?

It requires everyone buying in to your fantasy.

Remind me when Israel last bombed Syria?

I believe America was a little preoccupied to notice.

        Some of America that is.

Comrade, I know you’re eager to show off the latest propaganda spiel you’ve learned to parrot from ZeroHedge, but please explain how does Israel fit in this pathetic reaction to Iran’s attacks on the US embassy in Iraq?

        • akmofo February 26, 2021 at 12:26 pm #

The Israeli air-force has been at it every day non-stop for the last several years, chopping the Iranian tentacles in Syria, and with Russian help. They don’t issue statements to the press. They just do it.

          • Yohannon February 26, 2021 at 1:22 pm #

But you fear to attack Iran. You want us to do that. But the Iranians have made it clear that Israel will be counter-attacked in any case. They get it.

The Russians are helping you? News to me. I thought they were allies with Iran and Syria.

          • akmofo February 26, 2021 at 1:38 pm #

The Russians are interested in the sea port and oil in Syria. Iran is not included in those interests. Israeli jets coordinate their attacks in Syria with Russia so as to not embarrass the Russians with another hard takedown of their air defense systems there.

          • Night Owl February 26, 2021 at 1:48 pm #

The Russians were single handedly responsible for saving Syria from ISIS, which Obama created as a proxy army to destroy Assad. The Operation Timber Sycamore files are not difficult to locate.

          • akmofo February 26, 2021 at 2:08 pm #

ISIS = Sunni Brotherhood = Turkey
Hezbollah = Shiite Brotherhood = Iran

Turkey and Iran are simply carving up Syria.

The US and Russia are maintaining these forces balanced as Syrian towns are pulverized to dust.

Israel gives technical and political aid to the Kurds and the Christians pinned in Kurdistan. Kurdistan is the second liberal democratic society in the region after Israel.

          • Yohannon February 26, 2021 at 3:16 pm #

Russia sold Syria some state of the art missles. Iran as well. The Iranians will take close the straits of Hormuz in case of attack. There is no defense against the Russian supersonic missles over such short distances. Like Hezbollah, the Iranians have dug in deep. You do well to fear them.

TBH, it is rather genius. They have found a way to create the perfect plantation. They can silence the “qualified” critics and truth tellers by threatening them with job loss or excommunication, and for the plebes, they do a slow roll out, frog-in-boiling-pot style

This way, they can generate the social pressure that will not only allow them to violate human rights without much resistance, but that will also have a good chunk of the populaiton literally demanding it by the end.

The latest escalation in Germany is now that cloth masks are no longer allowed, and one needs to wear either a hardcore medical mask or a standard medical style splash guard mask. This is clearly being done as an escalation, and arrives right on time with the approval of vaccine certificates.

There will be an interregnum during which they will pretend Biden is exercising leadership. We can see it in all the chirpy press releases; “Biden orders”, “Biden states”, etc. But we all know or should know that the Dems’ “Committee for public safety” is actually governing, like Mrs,. Wilson writ large, and they make the decisions and issue them in Biden’s name, like Junior Soprano, and they will continue to do so for a long enough interval to claim plausible deniability of the fraud they’re perpetrating. Some will believe this because they want it to be true, but huge numbers won’t and that may have implications for the midterms; we’ll see.

    • Blackbird February 26, 2021 at 12:45 pm #

      “…implications for the mid-terms…”

If they are even held – 20 months is a long way down a dark, pot-holed road – I expect an even more resounding success for the Deep State than the 2020 election was.

“If they are even held – 20 months is a long way down a dark, pot-holed road – I expect an even more resounding success for the Deep State than the 2020 election was.”

Why would the mid-term elections not be held? They have been successfully held every second November for centuries. The presidential election on Nov 3 was also held as per the Constitution, and another one will be held in November 2024.

The “Deep State” does not – by definition – include elected officials, who come and go with regularity. To the extent that one genuinely exists, is there any evidence it is more pro-Democrat than it is pro-Republican? I’ve not seen any.

        • Blackbird February 26, 2021 at 4:21 pm #

Twenty months ago I doubt many expected to be where we are now, locked down, economy destroyed, and warned that even worse is on the horizon unless we submit to a radical new injection. So, given that experience, imagining a scenario where the 2022 elections are cancelled/postponed/”conducted virtually”, isn’t that difficult. I’m not saying it will happen, only that the cone of possibility has greatly expanded (as it did after 2008, as it did after 9/11).

Each election, particularly at the upper levels, we get to chose between 2 “Deep State”-approved hand puppets.

The revolving door. Into office, back to the private sector. Scratch the back. Etc.

Nearly everyone is owned, and now that we had a front row seat into what a farce elections are, I suspect we must hit rock bottom before anything can change.

But that is a long ways off. DC is a citadel and we have an illegitimate president installed by a cabal of corporate and banking elites who aim to create a global plantation.

            So it goes.

          • Tekapo February 27, 2021 at 2:23 am #

Twenty months ago I doubt many expected to be where we are now, locked down, economy destroyed, and warned that even worse is on the horizon unless we submit to a radical new injection.

All of that is fair enough … but 20 months ago we didn’t have a dangerous viral pandemic.

So, given that experience, imagining a scenario where the 2022 elections are cancelled/postponed/”conducted virtually”, isn’t that difficult.

I just can’t accept that there is anyone powerful enough in any area of public life with the clout to cancel elections.

I just think this is right-wing nut-fudgery … who would cancel it and WHY? The GOP will go all out to win the next mid-term elections. And the Dems will fight just as hard to retain both their House and Senate majorities … this is how it always is.

Why would you believe it won’t be like that?

          • MaryV February 27, 2021 at 6:41 pm #

I actually expected this like 5 years ago.

I had the same feeling, Mary.

The level of coordination in the media was the biggest red flag, along with the simple fact that never in history have such drastic measures been taken on a global scale for a virus.

The final gag was the demand that we wear a cotton rag to stop a microscopic virus.

            People. They are fucking stupid.

        • JohnAZ February 26, 2021 at 5:38 pm #

It is not that it will not be held, it is that it is preordained and does not make any difference.

A primary goal of the Uniparty is the destruction of the conservative movement. The Uniparty is not Dem or GOP only but both. It is the elective part of the DeepState. Dems want government control of issues, hence they are a perfect fit for for the Deep State. RINOs are Dems in GOP clothing to get elected.

The Deep State is easy. They are all the folks in DC who depend on the government for their jobs. They will vote for anyone who tells them the government will grow. It is the agency syndrome, if we do not spend as much or more, our budgets will be cut. It is also the lobbyists, who dumb down out representatives with BS and more important money and future employment. DC no longer belongs to or represents the people of this country, they are a free wheeling entity unto themselves out to primarily protect themselves from the voters.

If the Deep State had their way, there would be no more elections. Watch and see, once the pandemic clears, they will start nibbling away at all parts of the Constitution, removing rights, removing the electoral college, increasing immigration, setting college agendas, removing American history education, encouraging dissent for control. By 2022, your vote, my vote may not matter any more. The American voter will no longer matter as the non-American gimme voter will be in charge. Do not even try to deny this, just checkout the documentation mills in LA that generate Latino voters the day they show up.

“It is not that it will not be held, it is that it is preordained and does not make any difference.”

I don’t disagree that there is huge gravy train in DC, with revolving-door links to the corporations, Wall Street bankers, a wide range of darkly funded “research and policy institutes”, big media (left and right), the PACs, the lobbyists, some in academia, and of course the federal bureaucracy.

But hasn’t there always been such a political elite – right back to the founding fathers? There is a lot of grift & graft inside the beltway, and a lot of people make a lot of money via connections, rather than talent or hard work.

But it seems to me that the turd in the punchbowl is always elections – most in this power elite can’t stand “democracy”, and the voters upsetting things.

So I don’t think elections are pre-ordained … and neither party – let alone actors in the “Deep State” – have as much control over who wins office as many would like to think.

To my mind the greatest scourge is the amount of money involved in winning political office … genuine reformers and democratic mavericks have little chance. That’s one reason why I can’t agree that the Democrats represent “the left” – the Democratic Party is almost as beholden to big donors as the GOP is.

I hear the US may boycott the Olympics in China because of human rights issues. Not true. We’re boycotting because the Chinese won’t let people with testicles compete in women’s events. Those crazy Chinamen, they gotta wake up to the new reality.

I had a very masculine lesbian colleague at work who would constantly try and razz some of the men in the office every time the women’s world cup was underway.

She was convinced that the women were so good now that they could easily compete with the mens’ national squads.

I didn’t have the heart to show her the footage of the U15 Dallas boys beating the US Women’s National Team 7-1. And they do this every year.

A few years back a travelling women’s baseball team made the rounds here (to great fanfare) challenging men’s teams, breaking barriers, striking a blow for woman athletes blah blah blah. Turns out ‘Mens Teams’ were limited to 14-15 year old boys. The woman were college softball players mostly, and they still lost every game.

“Singing songs and carrying signs – mostly say “Hooray for OUR SIDE”

Remember when you were 100% sure the anti-war protestors were pinkos, remember when you demanded the STATUS QUO be maintained, remember when you approved of CREATIVE DESTRUCTION, remember when you thought “SHOULD HAVE PLANNED BETTER, remember when you thought they wouldn’t destroy your family?

Jim, I enjoyed reading your 2020 Garden Report. I am pleased to see you also grow flowers. Probaby not edible but a treat for the senses. So sorry to hear about your cat Scooter. I hope you get another one. I would love to have a hen or two. Alas, I live in a golf community with a strict HOA. It is the price I pay to avoid a junk yard across the street that my neighbor maintained in my last neighborhood. When the mountain of dirt showed up on his lot, I put the for sale sign up. I am much happier living where you don’t put up with that nonsense.

    • MaryV February 26, 2021 at 1:55 pm #

I have an HOA suburban neighborhood too – suits me for now. Later I’d love to be way out in the country, away from everyone, and gardening all year around (will get a greenhouse/grow lights).

I also enjoyed his Garden Report. He’s got me stoked for my own, this year.

      • Night Owl February 26, 2021 at 4:28 pm #

We don’t have HOAs in Germany, but are in a nice little suburb. Big yard and cool house from the 30s, if you can overlook it being built by the Nazis. I would like to go even farther out though.

There are places where you can get a 200-year-old “Jugendstil” villa surrouned by acres of forest, streams and mountains for only a few hundred Euros. If I can some how retire early, that would be my thing.

THat’s my thing here too, if I can manage to work online only permanently. I am now, but when my college reopens, I’ll have to resign or get them to boot me… not going back to CA.

Feel like I narrowly escaped that burgeoning police state hell hole.

Isn’t Germany even worse than the US with the COVID19 idiocy? My favorite expat there is CJ Hopkins. Do you read him?

          • Night Owl February 26, 2021 at 6:12 pm #

It is mixed. The Branch Covidian types tend to be in the big cities, but even there, there are lots individuals walking around maskless, and there have been some big protests in Berlin and elsewhere.

The news is not much better tho. Narratives are the same, only delivered in an sober manner. People are careful about how they speak. One major issue here is that many have been conditioned to view the EU as some sort of counterweight to neocon/Bush-era globalism; thus, they have a hard time breaking away from that view and identifying the source.

I post links from CJ a lot. He sees clearly.

One thing that always makes me chuckle are academic titles. I work in editorial and we have a policy in our publications about not including academic titles unless absolutely necessary.

Grizzly bear vs Caribou. The Caribou is Trump – or is it White America?
The caribou cannot outrun the bear – which is faster than a race horse for a short distance. It is a big animal but the bear is so strong, a killing machine. It fights well…..

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SqqG_LUss0

I saw another one where an Elk seemed to get away. It ran towards a deep, swift stream (unlike the above stream). The Bear caught it and the Elk dragged it and then saved itself by a powerful hind kick which sent the bear sprawling. Then into the rapids. Sink or swim, don’t know which. The End.

    • Night Owl February 26, 2021 at 2:49 pm #

            Owl,

I live in a rural area. Lots of black bears — strolling down the street, occasionally in the yard. It’s a lot of fun every September when the plums in the tree in our front yard get ripe, as to see who gets them first. We had a five-year winning run which ended this past year when I heard the snap and crackle of branches at midnight.

Bears almost always shy away from humans, but I still fear them more than cougars. We have those sometimes, too, but you can kick a cougar in the head and it’ll run away. Do that to a bear, and your foot will disappear, then … well, you get the idea.

          • MaryV February 27, 2021 at 6:46 pm #

You don’t hear much about black bears killing people, at least I was under the impression as you say, they tend to be afraid of people.

Grizzly or Kodiak bears? Not so much! Huger and way scarier.

      • Yohannon February 26, 2021 at 3:01 pm #

Ever hear of the Bear Whisperer? Some loud little Liberal guy who used to get really close to Grizzlies. “Don’t you fucking try this. Only I can do this”. He got away with it for awhile. The Bears were probably amazed at his sheer cheekiness. A Tom Clark type. Evidently they got sick of him or he met one who hadn’t read the memo to leave him alone. They found his partially eaten remains. Probably didn’t taste very good either.

        • BackRowHeckler February 26, 2021 at 3:13 pm #

That was Tim Treadwell, Grizzly Man.

He really did some stupid stuff. Why go live among the bears when they are trying to beef up for hibernation? He became the beef.

He should have known better. I will never understand why he did that. AND tragically, brought a girlfriend, who was also eaten.

Ugh the whole thing was horrid.

      • Blackbird February 26, 2021 at 3:12 pm #

Facing down a grizzly (brown bear in the unexceptional world) is the correct move – face down on the ground. Play dead, they’ll lose interest. And it they don’t – well, at least you didn’t exhaust yourself trying to out-run it!

Black bears – in the event you decamp to Vermont – need to be intimidated. Yell, wave your arms, be big and mean. Unless you’re between mama and her youngsters, in which case pull your revolver, stick the barrel in your mouth, and pull the trigger. Playing dead won’t work on black bears.

So obviously, correct identification is rather important.

        • MaryV February 27, 2021 at 6:49 pm #

          Really good to know.

That’s also how I’ve been told to handle mountain lions. Be loud, act big, raise things above your head and shake them…

Saw a video of a young bear that took on a pack of wolves to get their kill. As the narrator said, he must have been starving to take such a risk. Yet he drove them off. He was faster than the wolves were in his movements. And of course he had two weapons, teeth and claws to their one. They couldn’t flank him, he was just too fast.

        • Night Owl February 26, 2021 at 4:23 pm #

Brown and black. Mostly in Bavaria though.

They have a great zoo in Wuppertal. There is a giagantic polar bear there. There is a small outdoor area for the bear to feed and swim in, but the cool thing is, you can go right up to him, with only a plexiglass wall between you and him. No moat, no elavation difference.

You can really appreciate the size in that setting. I was nearly shaking walking up to the glass. Hulking beast.

Grizzly, polar, brown…scary as f#(<! Black bears are basically big raccoons. Seen lots of black bears, usually from behind as they make a hasty retreat. I had to talk my way past a feller who was browsing the blackberries along a road I needed to travel. I was speaking loudly at him, walking slowly, and he didn't notice my presence until I was within a few meters. When he did notice…WHOOOOSH!!! HOPES DASHED IN LA!!

Description of the assailants who dog napped Lady Gaga’s French Bulldogs, Gustav and Koji, and shot the dogwalker.

Suspect 1: Male black, 20-25 years old, dreadlocks, wearing a black hoodie, and armed with a semi auto handgun.

Suspect 2: Male black, 20-25 years old, wearing black clothes.

Over at TMZ, they so wanted these criminals to be White Supremacists getting even with Lady Gaga for a video lampooning them she made a few years back.

Of course anybody with their head not fully stuck up his ass knew immediately who shot the dogwalker and stole Koji and Gustav. I’m reminded of BLM riots in Philly last summer when Community Members were in the streets torturing a little white dog at a Mostly Peaceful Protest, twisting the dog up and slamming it on the sidewalk, and in Dallas and London, Antifa mobs throwing bricks at police horses, splitting their heads open.

Speaking of Obnoxious Liberals, Tucker did a piece last night that gives the background to the Jodi Shaw case. Meet the insufferable Oumou Kanoute, who destroyed four White worker’s lives because they got in the way of her “eating while Black”. The guest, a retired Smith official, says that she was someplace she wasn’t supposed to be, “a closed house”. Five lives if you count Jody Shaw. Not sure if the guest resigned because of all this. She was clearly utterly disgusted at both Oumou and the College President.

Hang on Patriots… America is going down the biggest rabbit hole this country has ever seen. We are being led by the corrupt anti-American clowns that were just elected. At the end of this rabbit hole is “The Great Reset” (see the World Economic Forum’s charter). The World Economic Forum’s mantra is “Build Back Better”. This is the same slogan that Sleepy Joe, Head of the Biden Crime Family, used during the latter part of his feckless basement campaign.

If you want a taste of Comrade Schwab’s “Great Reset”, just research China’s “Social Credit System”. A comprehensive government surveillance tracking system China started in 2009 that manages the rewards, or punishments, of citizens on the basis of their economic and personal behavior.

America’s Marxist/Maoist inspired political and big business leaders are using Climate Change and now COVID to herd all non-compliant “Lying Dog-faced Pony Soldiers”, “Bible and Gun Clingers”, and “Deplorables” into a corporatocracy arrangement where governments are in collusion with big business controlling everything in our lives… While grifters like the Biden’s and Clinton’s continue to stuff their pockets.

    • JohnAZ February 26, 2021 at 6:15 pm #

I do not want to worry you.

There is no great reset. There is not grand plan for the future. This never ending discord is just going on and on. The Dems/RINOs do not have a clue what to do. The US is so out of control, there are no answers, no plans, no great reset.

Think about it. Throw away the Constitution and what have you got chaos. What if all guns miraculously disappeared, chaos. What if money disappeared, chaos. What if jobs disappeared, chaos.

There is no Great Reset, just chaos in our future. Want to avoid it, Ex-pat!

“How long will it be before the public realizes that Mr. Biden is being strictly concealed from view by his managers?”

People already know. They don’t care. They’re too busy trying to keep from being evicted, gasping for air straining to breathe through multiple layers of tightly bound facial bindings, and watching the gathering clouds of the next storm to be unleashed upon them. We’ve gone from “Hope and Change” and “Make America Great Again” to “What The Hell Are They Going To Do To Us Next?” The Shining City on a Hill is becoming the Foreclosed Ruins in the Valley.

“…I also suspect that when the truth comes out, the Democratic Party will have to face some pretty harsh music.”

“Facing the music” is a relic of a past age. There are no consequences anymore for those Elitists above the Political Mendoza Line. Only those who don’t count for anything face consequences…i.e. the American public. And these days, many Americans seem to be able to avoid consequences as well as long as one is a certain… way.

“…the Democrats knowingly put an unfit man in high office.”

Democrats have been knowingly doing this since 1964. And a few other Parties, too. Seems to be a job requirement.

    • JohnAZ February 26, 2021 at 6:08 pm #

When the walls come tumbling down, the elites will just move their feeding elsewhere. In the meantime, they will have destroyed the American experiment, God’s maybe last chance for mankind. If the Revelation rapture does occur, it is richly deserved by the evil that has overcome America.

As I covered in my Diabolical Narcissism video presentation, one cause of Diabolical Narcissism is when a child is deified by their parent or parents. The DN that I had the misfortune of crossing paths with (but oh, the amount of information that I collected and was then able to share!) was a product of this dynamic. He was the firstborn with a photographic memory, and his parents literally called him “the Blessed George” (name changed) when he was a child. His family told me this, and that “George” was NEVER behaviorally corrected as a child, no matter how rude and hateful, and as he became a teenager, embarrassingly gay and bitchy, his behavior.

The thing about telling a child that they are “a god” is that eventually the child will figure out that they AREN’T a god, but they think they have to maintain the APPEARANCE of their own divinity. Self-loathing is the natural consequence. One of the primary ways the DN tries to maintain the fiction of their own “divinity” both to themselves and to others, is to make the firm, conscious decision to never, ever “stoop” to love another human being. Yep. The voluntary self-purgation of love from the soul. BINGO. Just like satan and the demons.

The deification of a child is THE most difficult to correct and deeply entrenched form of Diabolical Narcissism. It is, statistically, pretty much impossible to reverse without miraculous intervention. And the levels of psychopathy and sexual perversion it yields are some of the worst in the human race. The DN I crossed paths with ended up as one of if not the most notorious layman sodomites on the Rome/Vatican clerical gay scene, literally having sodomitical hook-ups inside St. Peter’s Basilica. Now you know at least a partial reason why CoronaScam has been permitted to happen and the Vatican and St. Peter’s are essentially empty. Our Lord finally had enough of faggots desecrating the Petrine Basilica. It’s the ultimate example of “why we can’t have nice things.”

I bring this up because I came across a quote from Tiger Woods’ father from when Tiger was still a child. Read this, and then understand why Woods became the psychopath sex pervert drug-addled train wreck that he did. Clinical psychologists would say, “He never stood a chance.”

“Please forgive me, but sometimes I get very emotional when I talk about my son … my heart fills with so much joy when I realise that this young man is going to help so many people. He will transcend this game and bring to the world a humanitarianism that has never been known before. The world will be a better place to live in by virtue of his existence and his presence. This is my treasure. Please accept it and use it wisely.”

    -Earl Woods

Woods was stoned on drugs and bloated like a dead cow the day before his wreck. The police were not lying when they said he wasn’t drunk. Drunk means alcohol. Woods was almost certainly still stoned out of his gourd on prescription drugs.

Given his narcissistic psychopathy and his Buddhist/atheist beliefs, he will probably not be able to handle not merely being out of golf, but probably permanently crippled to some degree. He seems an extremely high risk for suicide – not uncommon among DNs when faced with worldly “ruin”.

We should pray for him, because he really is one of the most impoverished people alive.

Yoho: The real reason for the Lockdown! Keep the sodomites out of St Peter’s. The Truth at last!

The Diabolical Narcissist part is more serious. Is Tiger one? Was he high as a kite when he crashed? No charges of course. Bruce Jenner killed someone and no charges were brought. It’s a big club and they’re in it.

    • Soul Forensics February 27, 2021 at 12:36 am #

Tiger Woods is a cheap (refuses to tip valets $5), soulless, sex-addict asshole, but, to be fair, if he was stoned on prescription drugs at the time of his accident, it could very well be to ease the pain from four back surgeries and the permanent structural damage done because of his life-long violent golf swing.

No doubt a star-crossed old soul. Karmically, the explanation would be “fortuitous incarnation, wrong place”, which could suggest high evolution with a complicating negative influence before death.

In any event, it’s not surprising that the psychiatrists “explained” her powers by the childhood fall. Convenient, but as materialists, it’s all they’ve got.

Brown & Black Bears in Bavaria, I was surprised by that fact. Here’s something else: Bison roaming parts of Yugoslavia, Poland and Russia. This is where our own American Bison must have originated from, crossing over the Bering Strait with Central Asians into the Americas 20,000 years ago.

In the 16th century Spanish explorers encountered buffaloes in what is now Georgia, N&S Carolina, and West Virginia. That was before Raleigh’s colony at Roanoke.

    • Blackbird February 26, 2021 at 11:57 pm #

The American bison (Bison bison) and the European bison or wisent (Bison bonasus) are both descendants of the steppe bison (Bison priscus) that ranged across the grasslands of Eurasia and North America during the ice age. Bison survived in tidewater Virginia until about 1730; in river valleys on the west side of the state (now WV) the last was shot in 1825. They hung on until 1830 in Indiana. Yeah, they got around.

        Good info there BB.

      • BackRowHeckler February 27, 2021 at 9:02 am #

And those critters survived the last ice age but they couldn’t survive our Sharps Rifles and Remington Rolling Block Rifles in the 1870s.

Wiping out 40 million buffaloes on the central plains was one of the great ecological disasters of the ages.

        • Blackbird February 27, 2021 at 10:45 am #

Flintlocks did a lot of damage too – knocked off all of the bison east of the Mississippi. Often killed just for their tongues – or just for fun. Contrary to modern myth, the indians were very wasteful too, especially when stampeding them over cliffs. On the other hand, their regular burning of eastern forests expanded the prairie and the range of the bison eastward.

It’s interesting that the original America leaders (e.g., Benjamin Franklin, George Washington) because of the influence of Stoicism were always trying to navigate complex moral predicaments by trying to safeguard their Virtue with due regard to practicality. Americans today seem to navigate complex moral dilemmas by pathologically lying.

Benjamin Franklin had to settle for the “Broken Shoe”, Debbie Read, as a wife because Franklin’s then profession of “Printing” was not considered very profitable by most people. Debbie was desperate for a husband because her former husband was discovered to have a wife in London and had skipped to Barbados. Benjamin Franklin and Debbie Read never knew if they were committing Bigamy because Debbie never formally divorced her absentee British husband. The penalty for Bigamy in Pennsylvania at the time was 34 lashes and life imprisonment at hard labor. Benjamin Franklin feared that if he didn’t marry Debbie, then he would have to settle for an ugly and/or bad-tempered woman.

    • Pucker February 26, 2021 at 10:59 pm #

Meanwhile at Smith College in Massachusetts, the home of Cotton Mather…,

“Benjamin Franklin was a White, heterosexual male. You refuse to talk about Benjamin Franklin’s Whiteness because you implicitly support Systemic Racism and White Supremacy. And you worship the Written Word, which is also White Supremacy.”

    • Pucker February 26, 2021 at 11:22 pm #

      Tap It….

“ The marriage was tested almost at once, in a manner many wives would have found unendurable. Sometime in late 1730 or early 1731 a son was born to Benjamin Franklin by a woman other than Deborah Read Franklin. The timing of events suggests that Franklin already knew, when he and Debbie decided to marry, that his child was on the way.”

  48. tom clark February 26, 2021 at 10:55 pm #

Y…I don’t let my Christianity affect my politics because I believe in the separation of church and state. What a concept.

And JAZ, I agree, great plug for the Hyundai brand and the Genesis in particular. However, had he been driving a Subaru, he might have walked away.

And BTW, who cares about the state of the union? Anyone with half a brain knows it’s a fucked up mess.

    • Yohannon February 26, 2021 at 11:01 pm #

So what’s your moral standard for running America? And what use is Christianity or any religion if they are relegated to a building, and once a week?

You’re copping out, tom. There’s a God sized hole where your brain should be.

      • SoftStarLight February 27, 2021 at 5:21 am #

And unfortunately this is the cop out of many like tom. They say they embrace Christianity but only on the terms that it be a semi-secret personal experience definitely not of worth to discuss in the public space or to be used to shape the public space. Which seems to be at odds with Christianity which if practiced in an orthodox way would necessarily lead its practitioner to literally preach to the world. The separation of Church and State is really found nowhere in our founding documents and so who promoted this idea so efficiently and massively? And why?

  49. kimmasad01 February 26, 2021 at 10:57 pm #

the timing sure is intersting- less than a day after the 10-year UST crashes through a key support level, the US bombs evil Iranians in Syria. So a bomb for every basis point? But- isn’t it Syria’s job to round up the evil Iranians? 20 people were killed. Who is going to answer for this murder? Cause GrearGrampa sure af didn’t order it. i imagine one of the warmongers pulling Great Grampa’s strings wakes him up on and off throughout the day(s) to sign blank sheets of paper.

how do we get these contemptible people out of power? I posit that corruption breeds disunity (as they’re all corrupt) and this disunity will be their undoing. They use to say about Idi Amin – it’s lonely at the top.

He was the Grand Master of the Pennsylvania Masonic Lodge. Benjamin Franklin was a “Printer” by profession, and he was an avid reader. The Masons are big builders. They build stuff. Benjamin Franklin and the Masons built the public library system in Philadelphia. A person could check out one book at a time from the library. Benjamin Franklin thought of books as bricks and by checking out and reading books from the library a person “could build his edifice of knowledge one brick at a time.”

The last thing an empire needs is democracy. That’s why it matters so little who is president. The politic is about what the empire needs, not finding and electing the best and the brightest. Presidents are place holders kind of like the 0 in 4096. It keeps you from getting confused about the values of the 4 and the 9, but is itself valueless. Biden’s promise to the 1% that nothing will fundamentally change is the one promise he will keep. If he knows what’s good for him.

  55. Tekapo February 27, 2021 at 3:13 am #

From politicususa news website (one of my centrist news providers):

Republicans were hoping that John Durham would create a Joe Biden scandal, but he has resigned from the DOJ.

The Department of Justice announced Durham’s departure in a statement:

After serving as the United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut for more than three years and as a federal prosecutor in Connecticut for more than 38 years, John H. Durham today announced his resignation from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, effective at midnight on February 28.

“My career has been as fulfilling as I could ever have imagined when I graduated from law school way back in 1975,” said U.S. Attorney Durham.

“Much of that fulfillment has come from all the people with whom I’ve been blessed to share this workplace, and in our partner law enforcement agencies. My love and respect for this Office and the vitally important work done here have never diminished. It has been a tremendous honor to serve as U.S. Attorney, and as a career prosecutor before that, and I will sorely miss it.”

Former Attorney General Barr and Trump tried to sabotage President Biden by making Durham a special counsel. Trump was livid after being told that the Durham report would not be ready before Election Day because he was counting on it to revive his conspiracy theory that the FBI at the direction of former President Obama and Vice President Biden spied on his 2016 campaign.

Republicans were still whining about protecting the Durham investigation as recently as this week during Merrick Garland’s confirmation hearing.

    The Durham investigation is toast.

The great Trump Deep State conspiracy is dead, and the Republican hopes for a Joe Biden scandal have been dashed.

It is really interesting that the Republican Deep State with all its massive resources could not nail Joe Biden nor save Donald Trump. Why is that?

It serves international oligarch billionaires, trillionaires, and bankers. At one time people had hopes their government still had some ethical actors involved and that accountability existed. These are the people you truly despise.

      • JohnAZ February 27, 2021 at 10:30 am #

You are 100% right. The folks that still try to stoke the fires with the Dem GOP battle are just plain ignorant. The Deep State is both. The real enemy of the America people is the Deep State.

In Arizona for example, the beginning of the end, Trump was defeated by a corps of RINOs lead by Jeff Flake and Cindy McCain. He would have won if the RINOs had stayed conservative, It is hard to stomach people betraying their lifelong ideals and allow the enemy to take over.

        In war, that IS treason.

    • JohnAZ February 27, 2021 at 10:41 am #

Because this country is no longer based on law and order, but on political influence and because of conservative stupidity through the years they are outnumbered a hundred to one at every level of government, the judiciary, the media, the military, you name it.

The Deep State is overwhelmingly Leftist, true conservatives would never vote to centralize and expand government control. There is a GOP Deep State, the RINOs that a true CPAC should throw out of the new party being created.

I do not believe that the public has the power any more or the desire to reverse the Leftist trends. It maybe time to leave and allow these nincompoops to sink in their swamp.

BTW, people who have little faith in themselves and need government to control their lives form a good base for this Leftist country we have right now,

The main thing here is the total control the Deep State has over the country. I am actually anticipating the response of the media Deep State to CPAC will be like a fart in Madison Square Garden, nary a whiff.

I enjoyed the garden report! That is such an adorable pic of Scooter. I do wonder what he was hissing at. And yes, the globe thistle is very beautiful and definitely alien in appearance. One couldn’t be blamed for considering that they are possibly sending data directly to the mothership orbiting the Earth. 🙂

Is anyone without a real life following the CPAC conference? It’s on in Orlando, and its proximity to Disney World can’t be an accident. Donald Junior has just taken the biscuit – saying “the left” has canceled The Muppets!

The basis of comedy and entertainment is poking fun at ourselves. A great step in the maturation process is the ability to laugh at ourselves and enjoy the humor. It really points what a change has happened to America. The Left never matures and stays at adolescent maturation levels. That is what is running the country right now. A seventy eight year old teenager and his teenage cohort.

There was nothing funnier than Flip Wilson or Bill Cosby or George Carlin laughing at their respective ethnic foibles.

    • JohnAZ February 27, 2021 at 10:44 am #

CPAC may not be the beginning of the end of America, it may be the end of the end. If the Right does not come out swinging and stop falling over its own two feet, there will be no Right.

      I am not encouraged.

“I’ll tell you what they’ll think: that the Democrats knowingly put an unfit man in high office. They’ll understand that they got played, scammed, hustled. They’ll be mighty pissed off. They may seek to learn a bit more about exactly how this happened, especially the sketchy mechanics of the November 3rd vote that put Ol’ Joe in the White House. ”

I don’t think it is productive for the sane to try to understand what the insane are thinking or what they will be thinking. It looks to me as though most people in the U. S. are suffering from mental illness. I’ll be surprised if a significant fraction of Biden voters become angry or even admit to themselves that they got scammed. The last blog post”s Jodi Shaw story was good news that one liberal began to see problems with one part of the Democratic doctrine, but only when it hit her between the eyes. She seems to want to tweak the liberal world view not question what the whole agenda is all about.

    • Disaffected February 27, 2021 at 9:10 am #

Agreed. It was never about Biden from the get go. It was about never Trump, and before that it was about never Sanders. The Dems and their supporters were only ever concerned about preserving the status quo. All the social justice crapola and all the rest were just a convenient means to an end. Those people will be thrown under the bus too just as soon as it’s convenient to do so. One thing about the Dems: there’s no demographic whatsoever they won’t first pander to and then promptly sell out just as soon as it’s beneficial to do so. Billy Jeff Clinton first taught them that. Barry O – the Great Mulatto – of course, raised the bar to another level. Thank god the transparently avaricious and totally insufferable ladder climber HRC was a poor learner.

Well, when they find that out they won’t be happy.

In fact, they might be inclined to take to the streets again like they did last summer, finish up the job of Burning, Looting and Murdering, but this time WITH A VENGEANCE! What will stop them? And the trigger might be when Officer Chauvin is acquitted of murder up in Minneapolis. Minneapolis has already made plans and has taken a defensive posture in case that happens.

Another season of violence should just about finish off Minneapolis, Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, LA and a few other cities, as going concerns. Oh, they’ll probably still exist as post industrial, primitive dystopias, squalid, dirty dangerous and poverty stricken — like a remote settlement in the Sahara Desert that 3000 years ago was a great trading center.

      Figaro

      Actually one of two choices

      1. There was fraud and the Dems/RINOs (Deep State) were going to come up with enough votes to beat Trump no matter what. This is insane that it could happen here, the US who goes around criticizing everyone else for meaningless elections. If the Deep State was really interested in the security of the election process, there would have been an investigation of the thousands of sworn affidavits instead of the total 100% denial by the bought off officials at all levels up to the Supreme Court. It is obvious by the unanimity of the response that the whole shooting match was deathly afraid of what damage Trump as a lame duck was going to do to the Deep State. It also shows that the Deep State control extends to the State level.

      2. The election was legitimate and the majority of the American public voted for a guy that told America that he was going to do everything he could to destroy traditional patriotic America. That he was going to destroy the American working class to foster AGW idiocy and open the border for illicit Democratic voters. That he was going to allow Chinese influence continue, like Obama, to destroy American jobs. That he was going to allow the Black and punk ult Left continue to intimidate the moderate and conservative Blacks and Browns to not move to the right as good sense was leading them. Trump did better with the minorities that anyone would have guessed. So the people voted against their own best interests for a dictatorship. This could only happen if the gimme class now outnumbers the productive class.

      That is really insane!

excerp from Jonathan Turley’s piece about the Smith College case

Even after the intensive investigation found that there was no racial bias incident, McCartney and others refused to apologize and most of the media did not report on the fact that the original allegation was disproven. McCartney simply declared “I suspect many of you will conclude, as did I, it is impossible to rule out the potential role of implicit racial bias.”

The ACLU was even more dismissive of the abusive treatment of these workers who earned less in salaries than the annual tuition at the school. Keep in mind that the report exonerated these employees who spent years being called racists and left the school. Rahsaan Hall, racial justice director for the A.C.L.U. of Massachusetts and Ms. Kanoute’s lawyer, simply said “It’s troubling that people are more offended by being called racist than by the actual racism in our society. Allegations of being racist, even getting direct mailers in their mailbox, is not on par with the consequences of actual racism.”

Yoho: So much for due process and the presumption of innocence. Even though the investigation found nothing, the presumption of Racism was the ruling ethos – since it wasn’t disproven. How would one do that, Ms McCartney? Can you disprove your racism?

And farewell to the reputation of the ACLU as well. An allegation or accusation of racism can destroy a White person. Do our lives not matter? Evidently not. And if such an accusation is false, as so many of them are, is that not racism on the part of the accuser? Judge not lest ye be judged.

This is the Witch scandal of centuries ago returned in a new form. Your denial of being a Witch just strengthens the accusation. Hysterical or vicious girls back then. The same now in the person of Kanoute.

The 2020 election is over and we’re forced to lie on a bed of Biden’s nails and to accept the harrowing possibility of a soon to be Harris presidency. Trump is gone. The resulting void is palpable and the very air now seems lifeless and heavy, carrying the weight of Wokesterism and a deep, dark sense of Weltschmerz.

Instead of vibrancy we have the vacuous Biden who talks of unity, a unity which lies mockingly and ironically within impunity, an indecent impunity that somehow befell the parade of perpetraitors that ousted Trump. Biden’s ‘unity’ is lunacy, but it sounds good and has a righteous home in opportunity.

I’m finding it difficult to watch Tucker and the rest of them as they delineate the degradation of America by the Left on a daily basis. It seems to be the only way out though, to point out what they’re up to and hope that it will be sufficient come 2022 and beyond, but words can’t really replace the Warrior.

It’s hard to believe and it’s hard to figure 80 million votes for Biden, considering the Left’s destructive social and political agenda. Whatever his faults, Trump was for America first and after four years that was as obvious as the orange on his head. Yes, hard to believe that fully 80 million voters didn’t want to put America first, and wasn’t it quite clear what the Democrats were up to with their ongoing coup attempts?

Could it be that BLM intimidated so many voters, making them believe that civil war would be inevitable under Trump? Whatever the case, a civil war against whites is now being waged across America from within its schools and universities, with the media providing air support for the wrathful Woke.

Yes, most likely it’s Obama making Joe look like a dexterous surgeon in dismantling what Trump put into place. Others lurking in the shadows could be van Jones, Loretta Lynch, and Valerie Jarrett. We now have Alejandro Mayorkas in charge of Homeland Security (take that Trump), and Lloyd Austin as Secretary of Defense, and it remains to be seen just how Woke these two are.

Remember Obama and Louis Farrakhan? Jeremiah Wright? Here’s Obama and Farrakhan:

    https://www.ajc.com/news/local/could-this-long-lost-photo-have-derailed-obama-2008-campaign/jC8NKhQr6a72VjRYY9o0EM/

There were considerable questions and there was much doubt concerning Obama, yet somehow the country felt the need to create the mother of all virtue signals and enthrone him as president of these United States. How the fools loved their black savior, whose presidency injected Wokesterism into its womb.

And yes, it is ‘Shadowland’, filled with lurking, devilish Democratic Demogorgons. As for me, I’m staying quiet, staying in the shadows, waiting to see how much longer it is before the ‘black magic woman’ casts her wickedly Woke spell.

    ‘Got a black magic woman
    Got a black magic woman
I’ve got a black magic woman
Got me so blind, I can’t see
That she’s a black magic woman
She’s trying to make a devil outta me’

You wrote awhile back: Whites don’t want to be 15% of the population. But in the same post you wrote about interracial sex in a seemingly approving way – as if desperate to maintain your “cool” bona fides in defiance of the main point of your post.

You have to choose. To have an identity is to not have another identity. To be cool in this culture is to betray your race. You have to choose.

      • tucsonspur February 28, 2021 at 2:52 am #

Was that the sexistential one? You must have misunderstood. I guess seemingly is the key word here.

‘To have an identity is to not have another identity.’ Not in my case. After all, I am Gemini! Think my man, think!

Interracial sex between singles without marriage or pregnancy doesn’t bother me so much as long as it’s consensual, although I can’t say that I approve. Many whites fear the black man’s sex, but I’m just not one of those. People are going to do what they want and they don’t give a damn about what I think, and I sure can’t stop them.

        • Yohannon February 28, 2021 at 12:55 pm #

Yes, double minded. Excelling at gamesmanship and hypocrisy. Good at avoiding existential choice. In the Western system, I’m a Cancer but it the Vedic system (which adjusts for the procession of the stars in their courses), I’m a Gemini as well.

The Art of Ruling is to influence people in their wants. The Evil do it to degrade the people. The Good to ennoble them. You or I can’t influence them, but those in Power most certainly can – and do.

          • tucsonspur February 28, 2021 at 4:59 pm #

Two minds more clearly discern both sides of the coin, perception is more expansive, and the increased erudition enables one to avoid the desultory distractions of essentially empty, ephemeral excursions.

I’m better equipped to handle the empirical, the existential, the eschatological, the ethnological, etc., etc.

            Precession, not procession.

I expect it was about 60 million votes for Joe Biden, and 20 million extra that were against Donald Trump.

And Joe Biden currently enjoys solid popularity in the beauty-pageant polls, and his proposals and policies are generally popular too – like the Stimulus Package. The stimulus is supported by a lot of stakeholders besides the lefties and rusted-on Dems.

I may be old-fashioned and conservative, but if any of this led to a fraudulent result, don’t you think at least one court would have agreed and demanded a recount – or something?

Absent a state or federal court, a state or federal official, or a state election functionary, declaring that there were shenanigans, one has to work on the assumption that the elections were good and fair.

It is not a problem for the winners if the losers can’t demonstrate how they were robbed – perhaps you believe the whole system is corrupt … from the local volunteer vote counter in a small county right through to the Supremes.

I do know that all the rule changes happened well before Nov 3, and just as often in Republican states as Democrat ones, and that in ALL the states with the really major change – mailing ballots to every registered voter – not one of those states flipped from Republican to Democrat.

So where’s the beef? What mostly cost Donald Trump the election in six close states was his months-long campaign against mail-in voting for his own supporters. In retrospect it was a fatal tactical mistake, and I think he knows it … everyone else certainly does. So he blames fraud rather than strategy.

“You know full well you can’t change the rules in the middle of an election cycle!”

Well … the Constitution (and subsequent decisions and legislation) only require that the states set their rules prior to Election Day – and increasing for the “Election Period” that includes mail-in and early voting.

All the states that believed that the pandemic was going to impact on voter turnout and safety amended their rules beforehand – in order to address the critical problems that they envisaged.

The rules were changed either directly by the various state houses, or in some cases by the Secretary of State or other officials who were duly delegated to make such changes by legislation, in the case of emergency situations.

This occurred in Republican states as well as Democratic ones.

The Iranian Jihadistani regime is beginning to unravel. Extensive gun battles and riots against the Ayatollah regime in Baluchistan province. In Lebanon, the Maronite Patriarch and his followers are on the verge of war with Hezbollah.

Not unpopular with me, PussyAnna. That is exactly the antidote for Empire, whether it be Chinese or Jihadistani or European or NWO/neoRoman.

That’s why I supported Bush and the dismantling of the Iraq. That’s why I support the same for Iran. The same for China. The same for Russia, Canada, US, and every other conglomerate of perverse political consolidation.

As I remember it , in 1955 if you suggested that Charles Lindbergh and the Isolationists were right , the AVERAGE AMERICAN would label you a Nazi.

    Same thing in 1965.

Charles Lindbergh was a card carrying Nazi. His political agenda was meant to serve the Nazis, PussyAnna.

Isolationism is idiotism writ large. Evil will come for you, one way or another. You will not hide from it. The choice is where to fight it, here or there. Imperialist Communist China is a good example for our day. They are amassing a huge army at huge cost. The purpose of all that heavy metal is not so that it rusts in the sun.

I tend to agree that the Conservative movement offers just as little to Whites as the Liberal movement. And truly, they are “Conservative” and “Liberal” respectively. Thus we find Conservatives celebrating and encouraging the lightning speed diversification and balkanization that will soon eradicate forever our society. While we find Liberals in full fledged all out support for the sole interests of corporate and banker parasites, and indulging in open bloodlust as they yet again bomb countries that are only two steps from the stone age. So is it that both movements are simply two branches of the same dying tree? What is the point of a government that despises and wants to replace its founding population? And so do you now see how these Conservatives and Liberals are the enemies within? There is so much travail that politics has become all about identity and populism. The old monolithic globalism appeals to no one really anymore. Thus the termites are forced to steal elections in very messy and obvious ways and lie about viruses to maintain their order for a few more minutes.
The old myth that we were all in this big melting pot together is a laughable pipe dream. Therefore identity is becoming everything. And instead of running from it we must run to it. We won’t really have a choice. Same thing with populism. The oligarchs and their sheer disregard for basic human rights and the natural environment for two, among many others, is unforgivable. They have dismantled our world, as they will always do to any free and sovereign nations and people, and so we have nothing short of an obligation to do all we can to dismantle their power and uproot it. What do you think?

It’s called capitalism, and monopoly transnational capitalism at that … a dystopian world run by the corporate state and oligarchs. The answer is probably a socialist revolution – but you mention that word on here or in a wider world and people go batshit crazy, and scream about losing their “freedom” … as if they have any “freedom” now.

And there is much worse to come. JHK talks about this stuff rather a lot.

      • Yohannon February 28, 2021 at 1:02 pm #

A socialist revolution funded by the Capitalists. It’s one system, one coin. Capitalism is heads and Communism is tails. Socialism is the awkward ever moving mid-point or compromise between them. That tug of war will be less in the future since the charade of separate Nations and their politics is coming to an end. Just Capitalism for the Elite and Communism for the masses now.

        • SoftStarLight February 28, 2021 at 1:37 pm #

When you have time would you mind telling me what the difference between Communism and Marxism is? Or maybe their interchangeable terms?

          • Yohannon February 28, 2021 at 1:48 pm #

Marx wrote the Communist Manifesto, so interchangeable. BUT, there have been many Communist theorists since then, who have evolved new strategies and nuances to the theory. Herbert Marcuse for example, said that relying on the lower class was a weakness of classic Marxism. He agreed with Gramsci and Adorno, that the culture must be transformed before they would accept it. Thus “the long march through the institutions” or their infiltration and corruption as we would say. Marcuse was big on media and minorities – his addition to the corpus.

So Communism is more than Marxism per se, but not separable from it.

          • SoftStarLight February 28, 2021 at 5:06 pm #

Ah ok that makes sense. I recall that phrase “the long march through the institutions”. But it seems like in that context it was about how Christianity and I guess for a lack of a better word Americanism generally were being purged from all government offices and institutions. Like references to the ten commandments being removed from courthouses and the removal of statues, and things like that. That is definitely a cultural transformation and of course people say the Communists are behind all of that and used the legal system against the people.

      • SoftStarLight February 28, 2021 at 1:19 pm #

I definitely agree that transnational capitalism is responsible for the current dystopia. But. There is also a strong Marxist element or elements involved. These appear to be the strongest forces behind the push to dissolve all individual rights and establish collective borg type adherence to government approved ideas and ideologies. So in essence, Marxism and Capitalism serve one anothers’ interests and to the extent the Marxists succeed in establishing an authoritarian hive mind and canceling individual rights like the right to own property, their Capitalist oligarch benefactors are able to further increase their total monopilization of all resources and production. This is why both actually always prevent real socialism from taking hold. They are not interested in people.

        • Yohannon February 28, 2021 at 4:48 pm #

Capitalism came first and funded them. They are the soldiers of Capitalism breaking down nations and classes and traditional economies, forcing them to enter the modern sphere of rootless individualism and/or the Communist mob.

Many of them don’t know that they are such, but they are. It continues today with Soros’ backing of Antifa and the widespread Corporate backing of BLM.

        • Tekapo February 28, 2021 at 5:20 pm #

“This is why both actually always prevent real socialism from taking hold. They are not interested in people.”

Couldn’t agree more … and the struggle to get out from under the heel of the corporate state (both capitalist and totalitarian) would be very long and hard.

Even getting a basic wage increase is proving hard … we have a very long way to go. And many other areas are equally hard: a national health system, organised labor, decent education, social security and aged care, stopping endless wars … it’s a long list.

And the role of government is especially problematic – their interests line up with the powerful just about all the time. As you would expect – the wealthy pay for the politicians.

And genuine liberals – those who really wish to push back against the corporate state (and its war on workers) – are so often crushed and pushed out of all the institutions, with a few high-profile exceptions.

JNF planted forest at Ben Shemen, Israel.

    https://youtu.be/FQWM2oZvynQ

A truly magical place of humble yet fantastic Godly beauty. One of many such planted forests throughout Israel. Israelis have planted 1/2 a TRILLION trees in the last 100 years, along with bushes and vines and flowers and grasses, and have completely transformed the past desolation of the land to one full of life.

    • JohnAZ February 28, 2021 at 10:23 am #

Israel has turned a desert into the land of milk and honey, three times now.

They still face the same problem as the US does. Ethnocentrism. A prime ethnic group moves into an area, changes the area into a positive living area, and attempts to share with others inviting the former residents and new immigrants to join in with the fun.

Oh, no. They move in and try to take over, changing the majority culture to theirs. Arabs had 2000 years to improve Palestine, make a culture, and did not do squat. The Jews have transformed it into a fertile land, and stabilized the culture. The Arabs were invited as far back as 1948 to join in, but like the majority of the Blacks in the US, they refuse and keep up trying to take over. In both places, ain’t gonna happen!!

Right now, Israel makes a great scapegoat for the feudal leaders of the Middle East, especially Iran. The militant nature of Shia Islam is the number two discord source in the world today, behind China.

The very stupid Biden administration is currently encouraging both sources of discord. Trump was stabilizing the ME in preparation for troop withdrawals. Oh no, not the Deep State. They could not have their every twenty year war that Liz Cheney obviously leads the pack with. Over and over, it is important to realize that Trump was and is against the Deep State, led by the Dems but having lots of RINOs present. I am looking forward to his speech this afternoon, much depends on it for the country and me personally.

As far as the return on investment made, I would say Israel is the top of the list.

Another thing Akmofo, do not label all Christians as corrupt members of the Roman church. Most Christians in the US are rooting for Israel and the fervent “end of times” folks want you to rebuild the Temple. People who understand Jesus’ teachings realize that we are are all Jews, that the only difference is the belief that Jesus’ message of individual responsibility and the embrace of the Kingdom of Love is paramount. The Roman church embraces, unfortunately, the supremacy of the priesthood at leading the people to heaven. Just like the Jewish religion’s hierarchy did during Jesus’ ministry that He preached against. I do notice that the idea of killing animals to get God’s forgiveness has been almost totally discarded by the Jewish hierarchy.

The unrest in the ME is not the result of religion. Huh? The separate ethnic groups would be fighting, as they have for millennia, no matter what the cause is. Religion is an excuse to war. Jesus preached peace and the disdain for the sin of power. One of his targets was the Jewish priesthood as He believed they should not be the source of power, they should be the enabler of a power free world.

Today’s world, especially the US, is proof positive that Jesus’ message has failed, that humanity should be preparing for the EOT. Power overwhelms everything, finalizing in the rise of a new power driven philosophy, called the Anti-Christ.

      • akmofo February 28, 2021 at 11:18 am #

        Indeed.

My hostility is to the Vatican as a vile institution, which should be dissolved. I generally don’t attack Individual Catholics or Christians because they are Catholic or whatever, unless like maltass they are completely reprehensible. Same for Muslims. My hostility is to the Mullahs, not to regular street individuals. Same with Russia or China, or whatever. I love the Russian people, but I can’t stand the Russian/neoSoviet government. I have great respect and admiration for the Chinese people, but furious enmity to the Chinese Communist Party.

        • JohnAZ February 28, 2021 at 11:26 am #

Proof of, for you at least, that power corrupts and the answer is the downplaying of power.

You have a Christian attribute there, no insult intended. At least it sounds like you believe in the main tenet of his ministry.

And the US Constitution, the first document in history to church power, an attribute the Deep State is working hard right now to remove.

Locke’s philosophy, that the US was formulated on was Judea-Christian, not Roman. Natural Law is an outreach of the Masons a group that wanted no part of any organized religion.

          • akmofo February 28, 2021 at 11:40 am #

Isn’t it Vlad and MaltAss that always attack and vilify the Masons? Why do you think that is?

          • Yohannon February 28, 2021 at 1:18 pm #

Yet Jefferson was a non-believer. He and Adams (a believer) found inspiration in Ancient Rome and used to fancy themselves Romans, fighting against the Gallic Barbarians (the French of Quebec).

Many Christians find inspiration in the Classics. You don’t have to choose, John. And (Lord give me strength), Natural Law is a well developed concept in the real Old real Churches. He has written his Law on our hearts as the Psalms (if memory serves). That’s everybody, Jew, Christian, and Pagan. If people didn’t have goodness already inside them, how could they ever choose to convert to a higher or better religion, like Christianity? Or do you hold with the convert them by force model. And the Protestant, it doesn’t matter what they believe, model?

Luther: Human nature is a dung heap. Conversion is covering that with the snow of Christ’s nature. Nothing ever gets transformed. Catholics reject that completely. Ditto the Orthodox. Ditto the best Protestants.

      • Yohannon February 28, 2021 at 1:10 pm #

They will bring back the sacrifices once the Temple is rebuilt I assume. And some Hasidic Jews still do a bit of it even now I believe. Chickens.

You can think you are a Jew all you want, but they don’t think you are one. Christians are Idolaters in their book (the Talmud). That’s what Jared Kushner believes. So of course he was given a high place over us in the Trump administration!

      • SoftStarLight February 28, 2021 at 1:30 pm #

No John. We are not all Jews. And basically that was what Jesus told us. And also the “downplaying of power” is not a Christian ethic so I am wondering where you are coming from with that. It’s one of those moments where one simply has to ask what is happening right now?

        • JohnAZ February 28, 2021 at 1:52 pm #

Jesus repudiated the formal Jewish hierarchy of his time. They believed spiritual relief came from the priests, the Pharisees. They were also United in their hatred of Rome. They, the PTB, wanted a Messiah that was going rip apart the Romans and re establish them in charge. Get it, POWER.

Then Jesus shows up, preaching Love, devotion to the tenets and existence of God, and caring about your fellow man as much or more than yourself. He taught that spiritual peace comes from within yourself, the Kingdom is within us. Do not worry about earthly things, peace comes from within. In every way, he preached about the evil of power, and IMHO, power has caused more human misery than anything else. His passion, brought on by God himself, shows that human power is nothing compared to the peace of the Kingdom, first Jesus rose Lazarus from the dead, then to show the Father’s ultimate ability, Jesus himself allowed human power to kill him, and then the Father raised him. There is no power on earth that can overcome a single man’s faith in God as the Romans finally found out as the most powerful empire to that point was consumed by a simple carpenter from Nazareth.

Jesus just ignored power saying that it just is not important to his followers. The power driven Roman church is an anathema to his teaching. What should it be? Watch “The Shoes of the Fisherman” for an idea.

          • JohnAZ February 28, 2021 at 2:05 pm #

The entire Passion of Christ was Jewish. He never denied his Jewish roots. God sacrificed his Son as the ultimate sacrifice and bought the world grace by that sacrifice. No more animal sacrifices were necessary.

It was the power structure of Mankind that crucified Jesus, not one particular group, you know them today as the PTB, the Elite. But that entire power structure could not keep Jesus in the grave, or prevent the conversion of the Western world.

          • Yohannon February 28, 2021 at 4:42 pm #

Yeah, including those who plotted against him and then pressured the Romans into doing their dirty work. Did you miss that part?

They aren’t the heroes of Christianity, John. And if they insist on being so, then they shouldn’t bother converting because it will be a false conversion.

          • JohnAZ February 28, 2021 at 5:33 pm #

            Y

The Jewish religious leadership ran Israel using the Romans as a scapegoat. The Romans used the priests of the Sanhedrin to control the populace. Did you know that the Temple was sacked in Jerusalem to pay for the Coliseum in Rome. Picked that one up in a tour there in Rome.

Do not forget that on Sunday of Holy Week, Jesus was welcomed by the Jewish mob in Jerusalem as the Messiah, the promised one. These were folks that understood the message He delivered. It was this parade of worship that scared the crap out of the Jewish leadership. Imagine someone telling the multitudes that they do not need the Elite anymore, that their faith was from within themselves.

Sorta like Luther nailing his complaints against the Roman church to the cathedral doors.

500,000,000,000 trees in a hundred years, yea right. That’s 2.25 trees per sq. ft. of Israeli land. Either you guys live in the trees or all your trees die because you live in a desert. In these parts the trees live for way longer than 100 years and we never have to water them.

JNF plants almost 3 million trees each year. And that’s just the JNF. Each individual in Israel (9 mil at the moment) plants at least 1 tree every year in Tu B’Shevat. And then there are the orchards farmers and the urban municipalities and the housing developers. It all adds up. Not sure about your math though, that doesn’t add up.

Some towns like Zichron, not far from Haifa, are practically 100% Anglo. That would be a good place to consider.

Israeli real estate is fairly expensive, but you will never lose money on it. The population is growing very fast (nevermind immigration) and available land is not. Thankfully, there’s a lot of decrepit soviet-style real estate stock from the 60s that is being torn down and rebuilt as modern high-rises. I would recommend buying one of these projects that’s about to be leveled and wait for your new modern condo to be built.

One of the beautiful things in Israel is the smell of citrus trees. Lemon trees Orange trees Grapefruit trees Pamela trees and mandarin trees are everywhere.

What does it for me though, is the scent of pine trees in the Carmel forest. In the winter, after the rain you can also smell the mushrooms. Mixed with the smell of the salt sea air from the Mediterranean near by, it is something otherworldly.

            Pine is wonderful to smell

            Yes indeed it is.

However we had one very scary experience with it – descending on the John Muir Trail to the valley at Yosemite NP our little group was hit with an overwhelming smell of pine. We turned a corner and there had been a very large landslip right in front of us, with some rocks as big as small cars, and the trail was obliterated. There were smashed pine branches everywhere.

And just minutes before that a troop of Boy Scouts (about 20 of them) passed us going UP the trail … they (and we) missed being in the middle of the mayhem by a very small margin indeed. The wrecked trail portion was closed for some months.

Your assessment is totally wrong. Biden has reversed the ascent of the US during the Trump years and is preparing to destroy as much of the core of the US economy to take total power for the Deep State. You are blind if you do not recognize this.

The great mistake of the Biden voters is they voted based on emotions and believed the emotional falsehoods about Trump propagated by the Media. If they had voted on issues and performance, rational issues, then we would not be facing the idiocy of the Biden group now.

I hope you are prepared for the collapse of the US, it is coming soon.

      • Tekapo February 28, 2021 at 1:03 pm #

“Biden has reversed the ascent of the US during the Trump years and is preparing to destroy as much of the core of the US economy to take total power for the Deep State. You are blind if you do not recognize this.”

Translation: anyone who didn’t vote the way I wanted them to is a moron, an idiot, and duped beyond measure.

Give us a break JAZ … that is just so undemocratic; a sizable majority of the voters sufficiently disliked Donald Trump that they wanted to see him out the door after one term. And can you blame them? He was a terrible man – an embarrassment.

President Biden may not be the most dynamic, and I don’t think the hopey-chagey-lefty wing of the population should expect too much reform from his administration, but he will end the chaos of the last four years.

And he isn’t a tool of the Deep State anywhere near to the extent that Trump and his gang were.

        • JohnAZ February 28, 2021 at 1:57 pm #

Give us a break Tekapo, you are obviously a victim of Mediaitis. Your rational side has been destroyed by the constant rain of Leftist BS. Trump was and is so feared by the Washington establishment, the Deep State that they will continue to do anything possible to stop his advance now.

That in itself makes your last statement ridiculous.

          • Tekapo February 28, 2021 at 10:10 pm #

“Trump was and is so feared by the Washington establishment, the Deep State that they will continue to do anything possible to stop his advance now.”

Apart from the fact that Trump was never a serious threat to the Deep State (look at his establishment picks for his cabinet – including the crooks), what “advance” would that be? He did not succeed in the midterms of 2018, and he lost the three in 2020.

How is that a threat? It seems to me that CPAC is quite busy celebrating a loser. Am I wrong?

I can only repeat that not a single state that decided (in the pandemic) to send out 2020 ballots to all registered voters flipped from Republican to Democrat … not one.

They stayed firmly Democratic (CA, and NY mainly), or they stayed Republican. Look it up.

yes, the chaos of the last 4 years were a raging economy, jobs for all, rising incomes, low energy prices, energy independence, no attacks, and end to mideast fighting for the most part, middle east peace deals.

in short everything the left despises

we~re a month into jo and ho and energy is thru the roof and a guy wearing a dress is a cabinet minister and anti-white racism is the law of the land

fair elections are forever banished, there is no more freedom of expression….

          • Tekapo February 28, 2021 at 10:28 pm #

“.. the last 4 years were a raging economy, jobs for all”

The unemployment rate in January 2017 (end of the Obama term) was 4.7%. The unemployment rate at January 2021 (end of the Trump term) was 6.3%.

I concede that part of that was the pandemic of course.

Dire Straits Tina Turner Bob Dylan Guns N’ Roses Metallica Michael Jackson Madonna David Bowie U2 Paul McCartney Ozzy Osbourne Guns N’ Roses Red Hot Chili Peppers Depeche Mode Rihanna Justin Timberlake The Rolling Stones Lady Gaga Robbie Williams Queen Elton John Justin Bieber Aerosmith Rod Stewart Britney Spears Radiohead Enrique Iglesias Bon Jovi Jennifer Lopez

History months have become tedious and annoying.
The absolute worst of the bunch has become February!
    A celebration of mediocrity.
    Enough pandering.

    • JohnAZ February 28, 2021 at 11:08 am #

A celebration of mediocrity? A celebration of the United States today. The Biden administration is a very appropriate reaction of a mediocre American people. China is holding steady, moving forward and laughing their assets of at the US actively passing the global baton of power over to them.

If you voted for Biden to accomplish this end, congratulations, the US is heading down.

        https://youtu.be/RAUgmBrBQ-Q

To be free you must first have courage. Courage to tune off the MSM propaganda outlets, and reject fascist corporate sale products. It then transforms into knowing and becoming involved in your community. It then transforms into uprooting corruption. All small baby steps. Unfortunately most Americans are being habituated to walking backwards.

      • SoftStarLight February 28, 2021 at 1:48 pm #

But that is just the thing. Biden happened despite the people. Just as the government rules the people with spite. You keep blaming the victim which then gives the perpetrator an apparent pass. China is holding steady because it doesn’t have different history months. The US is heading down because it made its own people homeless and destitute.

OMG, the media is attacking the Biden group for his downplaying the Kashoggi assassination.

Does out lovely media realize that the Intel section of the Deep State “remove” people all over the world, that we are just as evil a bunch of murderers that our enemies have ever been.

Saudi issues are theirs, if the Crown Prince considered K a state enemy, it is None of our business.

    • Tekapo February 28, 2021 at 1:15 pm #

“OMG, the media is attacking the Biden group for his downplaying the Kashoggi [sic] assassination.”

Not that surprising – Jamal Khashoggi was one of their own, and they tend to go rather overboard in such cases. And really – as you point out – state-sanctioned assassination of perceived enemies is hardly limited to the Saudis.

Some of us still remember Salvador Allende.

Schiff wants stiffer measures on Saudi Arabia?

Maybe the Saudis will impose stiffer measures on the US.

As the Biden Administration chokes off our own domestic oil supply we will be more reliant on Saudi Arabia (and Russia) than ever.

And then there is the matter needing a Saudi ally as a bulwark against Iran.

Biden already has announced the US will no longer back SArabia in Civil War in Yemen, giving Iran and the Quds Force a free hand to do whatever they want there.

I liked Trump’s Jacksonian foreign policy, which was s basically don’t f##k with us and we won’t f##k with you.

JohnAZ said, “It was the power structure of Mankind that crucified Jesus, not one particular group, you know them today as the PTB, the Elite.”

Only the Aaronic Priesthood can offer a lawful sacrifice.

    • Yohannon February 28, 2021 at 4:57 pm #

Or the Priesthood of Melchizadek, the Catholic Priesthood being the modern form of this.

Or the Hindu Priesthood, which follows the Vedas. Etc

Let’s not let John drag Christianity back into Judaism – making Yah Yashua into a mere tribal deity.

      • JohnAZ February 28, 2021 at 5:42 pm #

Modern Judaism actually stems from the Diaspora with most of Israel’s stock coming from Europe. The Jews no longer had a central focus, the Temple of Jerusalem.

The irony of the three most deadly religions coming from the same source is striking. The Elite of all ages have kept the public in line with fear and division. Jesus was a Jew, he died for the human race. Jews included. Christianity started with the Jews, then spread all over the earth. The Elite of Christianity had to play their damned blame game against the common Jews for what nine corrupt priests did. It was wrong then and it is still wrong.

        • messianicdruid February 28, 2021 at 5:54 pm #

But, what of those who stand with the nine? Where there is no repentance.

      • messianicdruid February 28, 2021 at 5:44 pm #

Christ being the High Priest of the Melchizidek order, I cant see them sacrificing him.

All the accoutrements of the old priesthood were nailed to the cross.

        • Yohannon February 28, 2021 at 8:14 pm #

They saw him as a sorcerer and a corrupter of youth. We see him as a High Priest and Victim. Your Christianity is quite different from the one I got.

The rate at which our society is sinking into madness is truly bewildering:

    2) It is now homophobic for a straight actor to play a gay character

    3) It is now racist for a white therapist to treat a black client

    5) It is now transphobic for biological females to reject having to compete against trans women (biological males)

    6) It is now Islamophobic to criticize any tenets of Islam

    7) It is now science denialism to question the ongoing COVID lockdowns

    8) It is now science denialism to question any tenets stemming from climate change alarmists

    9) It is now epistemological bigotry to support the scientific method as THE means by which you adjudicate scientific hypotheses

    10) It is now racist to argue that mathematics yields right and wrong answers

    11) It is now racist to promote the ethos of individual dignity over collectivist identity politics

    12) It is now racist to criticize a Noble Person of Color be it a famous athlete or celebrity

    13) It is now transphobic to posit that only women menstruate

    14) It is now racist to publicly proclaim your support for “wrong think” black individuals such as Thomas Sowell or Larry Elder

    15) It is now misogynistic to note that women greatly outnumber men in universities

    20) It is now racist to not decolonize philosophy and literature departments

It is fatally idiotic to allow Commies control of the conversation. When will Americans muster the courage to do something about that, remains to be seen.

      • JohnAZ February 28, 2021 at 7:43 pm #

These are not the same Americans of a couple of generations ago. These are trained Marxists that are using all of your descriptors above to divide this country. It is working. The remnants of people who believe in historic American ideals are still here, just diminished. CPAC brought a number of them to the fore. Trump gave a solid speech on what is going to be fought for.

Are there enough folks left that believe in individual responsibility? Are the gimme artists and perverts in charge of the country now? If so, it is a lost cause.

        • Tekapo February 28, 2021 at 9:14 pm #

“Trump gave a solid speech on what is going to be fought for.”

I agree it was pretty solid – fairly sober and he didn’t go off-message very much, although there was more than enough in there for the fact-checkers to be busy. He had the good sense to quash notions of a new conservative party – that would have electoral suicide. And he did provide a “policy platform” of sorts.

There are obviously still deep divisions in the GOP – the CPAC is not all the Republican Party, and there are a lot of country-club moderate conservatives who don’t see the future in Trumpism. After all, the 2018 and 2020 results were pretty disastrous; there are still a lot of voters that need to be attracted if they’re going to win something.

His big hint about running in 2024 wouldn’t have upset the Democrats very much, I expect.

“Hello CPAC do you miss me yet? -Donald J. Trump
Yes Donald I believe even some DNC faithful might even miss you.”

Democrats are hoping DJT will be the candidate in 2024 since he lost the House, lost the Senate, and lost the White House.

Democrats want to go up against an aging politician with a failed record of increasing the national debt, failing to correct the imbalance of trade, abusing his office (and being impeached twice), and filling his administration with swamp creatures who he then fired. DJT is a threat to national security.

DJT is not a good judge of character and has proven he is incompetent at governing. How many times did he promise “Trump care” (better and cheaper!) was just around the corner? How many times “infrastructure week” was just around the corner?

When all the legal votes, and only the legal votes, are counted, voters will vote DJT down again in 2024, just as they did in 2018 (taking down candidates DJT supported) and just as they did in 2020 putting Democrats in charge of House, Senate, and White House.

    • Tekapo March 1, 2021 at 1:50 am #

“Democrats are hoping DJT will be the candidate in 2024 since he lost the House, lost the Senate, and lost the White House.”

Well I think that’s pretty clearly the case … it’s hard to argue that Donald Trump is an electoral asset after 2018 and 2020.

Of course it will depend on the next four years under President Biden … if the Dems do it it well then Trump (or any Repub) will have no chance. If the Dems completely screw the pooch – then who knows?

I still don’t believe that whatever happens with the Biden Administration that Trump will be nominee in August 2024 – too old, too past it, too much opposition. I am also fairly convinced it won’t be Joe Biden either for the Democratic Party.

Hah says the idiot who supports the nonsense of two sham impeachments which by the way failed to remove the President from office meaning they were not strong cases and had zero merit.

While we are at it just look at the record of anyone claiming to have dirt on the the Donald none of it was ever proven, nor was their proof and none of it would hold up in court.

Even worse is the absolute ass covering the Democrats got and continue to get from the media. Nothing short of disgusting.

Yet look at the complete imbecile holding office at the moment if the media was doing its job and the DNC had any credibility or even a shred of fair minded Justice both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris would be out for the very accusations that were levied against Trump. Joe for corrupt behavior in Ukraine and supporting riots all over the country/
Kamala for bailing out rioters all over the country.

This was AFTER all the entire reason they lied about the man in the first place to cover their own corruption and malfeasance.

Phew, arctic plunge coming tonite, below 0 temps predicted.

I ordered a delivery of #2 heating oil and right away noticed the price is up about .60 per gallon since December. Thanks Sleepy Joe!

Ok, so we made the trip to the coast; however, there was so much fog and mist over the bays and estuaries I really couldn’t get a good reading of any sea level rise that might have occurred since Oct 30 last. However, roads right along the waterfront were passable and not flooded, which is a good sign. I’ll need a clear sunny day to determine the extent of catastrophic sea level rise that Climate Czar wants to shut down the American economy over.

What a shame, brh. Spring has sprung in Edinburgh – in fact it did so back in late February. The crocuses are out, a few weeks after the snowdrops. Hope your cold snap doesn’t last too long.

There ya go. Celsius, btw, not Fahrenheit. 8C= 46.4 F. Ok for 1 March. And look at that sunshine, right up until 5pm. 🙂

Weather systems are difficult to understand, GA. You have Spring weather already in Edinburgh but if you look on a globe Edinburgh is located up around the arctic circle. When the English set up their colony at Jamestown, Va, they thought they’d be able to raise tropical fruit there because it was at the same latitude as Mediterranean countries; the orange, lemon and lime trees they planted straight away died and the English ended up raising tobacco.

British troops in the Revolutionary War were shocked at how cold it was in New England in winter.

The fun of a maritime climate is that we can have three different seasons in one day, brh. Keeps us on our toes. But today is lovely.

Further north on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, there are palm trees. Also at Culzean (cull-ain) Castle on the Ayrshire coast, near where my parents lived latterly. It’s colder here on the east coast. They got more benefit from the Gulf Stream.

Culzean Castle was Eisenhower’s favourite post-war holiday home.

When the Marquess of Ailsa (head of Clan Kennedy) bequeathed it to the nation after the war, he asked that part of the castle and gardens be offered to Eisenhower as a thank you from the Scottish people. There’s still an Eisenhower apartment there that people can stay in.

Since you were unable to do so I made the long journey down to my favorite beach but along the away stopped and looked at the drainage pipe I use to measure tide.
What do you know at mean low tide the pipe was completely exposed!

      3-4ft
      Waist to chest high
      Tide
      1.2ft
      High tide 5.3ft
      at 10:06am

Needless to say it appears that ocean is damn near exaclty where it has been for the last thirty years!
I have used that drainage pipe as a quick reference to see if my spot is going to be swamped out by high tide or thumping on the sandbar at low tide.

A quick check of the surf showed it to be 3-4′ and packed thanks to covid and people not working.

Not sure what the hysterical cult of globull warming is still frothing about but there it is.

  3. February Wanes with NO State of the Union Speech | flying cuttlefish picayune - February 26, 2021

[…] James Howard Kunstler – “Lately, it’s mostly just a made-for-TV special, like the Oscars, allowing a lot of familiar faces to preen before the cameras for the home-folks. Kinda looks like our current president, Joe Biden, will skip the grand show this year.” https://kunstler.com/clusterfuck-nation/shadowland/ […]
