Ho ho ho! It’s that time of year again. Here’s JHK’s holiday classic: A Christmas Orphan.

11-year-old Jeff Greenaway hears his mom and dad argue one night after an office Christmas party. He infers from their garbled squabble that he is an orphan, found in a willow basket on the welcome mat outside their New York apartment. Thinking now that his parents are imposters, he steals away to Grand Central Station and buys a train ticket to Drakesville, Vermont, where he intends to start life all over again.

The mighty Shakespeare in his direst night sweats could not have conjured up the Clinton family in all their sharp angles and dark corners, but we can try to reconstruct the scene last week on Loretta Lynch’s plane out on the Phoenix airport tarmac. Former president Bill steps aboard:

Loretta:   What the fuck are you doing here?

Bill:            I just had to tell you what Charlotte did last week.

Loretta:   Who the fuck is Charlotte?

Bill:           Our grand-kid. She’s turning into a good little earner.

Loretta:   We can’t meet like this. We’re about to depose your wife.

Bill:           Charlotte gave a speech to the whole Citibank C-suite.

Loretta:   I don’t give a fuck. Get off my plane right now!

Bill:           Well, I don’t know if ‘speech’ is the right word. She gurgles nice.

Loretta:     I guess you didn’t hear me.

Bill:             She pulled in fifty grand for that. Of course it was a hundred percent remitted to the foundation. Well, bye now. (Exits plane).

I have a theory about the Clinton family dynamic. Bill does not want Hillary to win because he doesn’t want to live in the White House again. For sure he does not want to live with The Flying Reptile, but he especially doesn’t want to be on display in that fishbowl where folks pretty much can see what you’re up to 24/7. For one thing, “The Energizer” can’t discreetly come and go. But he certainly doesn’t want to concern himself as “First Husband” or “First Gentleman” (title TBD) with deciding which fabric to choose in replacing the East Room draperies. So Bill decided to fix things for sure with that innocent visit to the US Attorney General’s airplane to talk about grand-kids.

It seems to be working. If there was any question that Loretta Lynch could just sit on her hands about Hillary’s email investigation through the November election, it went up in a vapor last week. It also left FBI director on the hot seat because now he will have to either cough up a referral to Justice Department prosecutors, or he’ll have some ‘splainin to do in the heat of a presidential election campaign. If you thought Watergate was a ripe peach, this one is beginning to look like a stinking durian (Durio zibethinus).

Both The New York Times and the WashPo are spinning the Hillary email scandal as being about security protocols, which is to say they are deliberately putting too fine a point on the matter as a ruse to deflect from the deeper issue: namely, did Hillary as Secretary of State use her office to shovel money from sources in foreign lands into her family foundation? It sure looks that way if you match the contributions from foreign lands to the arms sale deals she approved as part of her official duties. In any case, whatever connection there might be between those arms deals and the foundation revenue, is there not under any circumstances some obvious conflict of interest (and legal liability) about a secretary of state doing personal business with foreign governments?

This matter is swelling like an abscess ready to burst just as the Hon (?) Debbie Wasserman Schultz whacks the gavel to open the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. Meanwhile, Bernie’s troops will be ready to rock and roll both inside and outside the convention, with perhaps some diversionary skirmishes by the Black Lives Matter cadres. Throw in another “Lone Wolf” massacre, say, at a cheese-steak stand and you can kiss the Democratic Party goodbye.

Note that this convergence of bad karma will take place against the background of deteriorating events on the banking scene. The European banks in particular are melting away to nothing while European Union officials wring their hands in prayer. You can bet it’s going to affect all the global banks, daisy-chained as they are in counterparty obligations. Somewhere in a dark subterranean chamber, the magma of financial derivatives is getting ready to blow.

Happy Independence Day everybody! Who needs space aliens when we’ve got Hillary and Trump?

“Somewhere in a dark subterranean chamber, the magma of financial derivatives is getting ready to blow.”

As far as financial issues are concerned, let’s see what happens this fall when the agricultural futures contracts come due. Because of the subsidies associated with these, all other commodities will be sold short if need be to preserve the margins. In anticipation of that late last summer ALL commodities futures (including petroleum futures) were sold short in order to raise the cash needed to honor those coveted agricultural futures contracts. My sense is that this will be repeated again in just a few weeks. And this year the financials might just a tad more brittle that last year.

    Let’s see.

I like how in so many places you could see pundits with some variation of head-scratching and a seemingly surprised “Gee, that was really bad judgement on Bill Clinton’s part.” You can only laugh… “Bad Judgement?” Bad judgement is Bill Clinton’s middle name!

But now I think the strange, inscrutable nature of the Clintons’ marriage (political partnership/competition?) may have more to do with Bill’s stunt, as described here. Loretta Lynch: now THAT was bad judgement and borders on illegal. (Or maybe SHE doesn’t want Hillary, either?)

This is going to be a remarkable month. The FBI has get their sh*t together and wrap up this godda*mn investigation.

    • Neon Vincent July 4, 2016 at 1:19 pm #

“Bad judgement is Bill Clinton’s middle name!” Combined with what is generally a shrewd political instinct, which comes from his big head. It’s when he listens to his little head that I worry!

That ties back into our host’s post today. I have my doubts that Bill doesn’t want Hillary to win the White House. I think he actually does. Instead, I think he doesn’t want his wife to win the White House without his actions to help her being noticed. The problem is that he oversteps what is wise and seemly for a political spouse in his efforts to be seen helping her and some of his “help” is counterproductive in assisting Hillary, even if they work very well in focusing attention on himself. Secondary gains and all that.

Of course, if our host is right, then the contest becomes who wants the White House less, the Clintons or Trump. I think Trump may want to be President, but he doesn’t want to do what is necessary to win it or actually do the work. Hillary does, regardless of her husband’s passive-aggressive assistance. Advantage Clinton.

That’s reflected in the polls. Wednesday, a poll showed Clinton leading Trump by seventeen points in Michigan. The next day, another poll showed Clinton leading Trump in Michigan by fifteen percent. Factoring in both those polls, Nate Sillver of FiveThirtyEight gave Clinton a ninety-one percent chance of winning the state, Trump at just over nine percent, and Johnson at two-tenths of a percent. Her “damned emails?” What “damned emails?”

      • bukowskisghost July 4, 2016 at 3:02 pm #

        Neon,
As a native Detroiter and one who has been here my entire life, the folks in this town have always been for the Democratic Party From its long history with the UAW. Anytime a politician smiles down on them, they think they have a chance of becoming a house “slave”, and not a field “slave”. The PTB didn’t have to dumb down this populance, it was.

  3. Elrond Hubbard July 4, 2016 at 9:26 am #

Jim, congratulations on publication of the fourth volume. Now I can complete my set.

The Clintons may be world-champion influence peddlers, but it’s increasingly hard to see why anyone cares. Corruption is a way of life in America. In the Teapot Dome scandal, one guy got convicted of accepting a bribe that no one was ever convicted for offering. Now it’s reached the point where the Supreme Court openly shrugs its shoulders at a governor who sold out the public trust for a ride in a Ferrari. Show me things going the other direction for once, then I’ll act surprised.

The good part of what’s been going on, at least since Trump drank the other Republican candidates’ milkshake, is that the stakes are getting more out in the open every day: in addition to right versus left, it’s now clearly elites (including the center-left) versus everyone else.

  4. newworld July 4, 2016 at 9:28 am #

You folks on the Left seem to hold more hope that the Clinton racket gets busted than what remains of the ruins of conservatism.

She skates because the arms racketeering was roughly in line with what could be called policy in the District of Lunacy.

See the ending to a great film “Lord of War” a film not given its due because too many of the critics wanted to bury it because the main character was a phony Refusenick from the Ukraine. All white men are not created equal.

I hope she skates and I hope she takes scalps on the left…

    • newworld July 4, 2016 at 9:44 am #

It’s not fair to Declinists such as myself that Obama gets to skate away on a phony bubble economy. It is like Jim Jones stepping over the bodies to go live out his life in luxurious exile in Hawaii.

I want you gentle liberal folk to insist upon a third term for his excellency, Paul Ryan will approve.

But I am torn, will the Left’s rhetoric become more unhinged with a third Obama term maybe with Hillary as stand in cult leader or will it come totally unglued with Herr Trump on the golden throne (he likes gold)?

Of course none of you believe me but the rhetoric one reads at places like Kos and DU reads like Jim Jones’ last speech. You really are “thought lead” by people who are like zombie mutant killers, eyes rolled back and teeth a snappin.

      • outsider July 5, 2016 at 8:50 am #

Much better an Obama third term than the Wicked Witch of NY. Damn that 22nd Amendment.

        • JimInFlorida July 5, 2016 at 1:15 pm #

Perhaps not a 3rd Obama term but, a Congressionally appointed term for Joe Biden. That would happen only if the Establishment parties fall apart and are unable to present their respective puppets.

The precedent is ancient and Congress would have to reach back to the Virginia Plan, drafted by James Madison in 1787. It foresaw the circus madness of popular election of a POTUS and the evils it would spawn. The Virginia Plan would have Congress elect the POTUS.

Only after looking at what we’ve had for the past century or more, the quality of politics would be vastly superior if the Virginia Plan had been implemented to start with.

      • newworld July 5, 2016 at 1:39 pm #

I told me so. For the little people like me to take a classified document and cross post it I would never see the light of day ever again, except in the prison exercise yard, if I had those privileges.

I really hope her supporters rub it in the conservative’s faces.

I want the State to lose legitimacy and I want the American Empire gone.

Progressives I want you to lose your rackets. Conservatives I want you to grow up and leave the year 1945 in the past, and damn well stop worshipping uniforms.

Thank you Bill and Hillary Clinton

        • newworld July 8, 2016 at 10:04 am #

Obama makes Joseph Nkomo and Robert Mugabe look respectable, and he is the leader of the “free world” and he turns out to be a passive aggressive lunatic.

Thanks folks, really, and you think the Clinton’s are going to take this ruling political coalition and make America better?

    • SteveO July 5, 2016 at 9:58 am #

      Newworld,

I’m on the left and I would love to see the Clintons go down in flames. Just to be clear, seeing both Clintons doing a perp walk in matching orange jump suits would make my day, week, month, year, decade and possibly all of the 21st century.

But I’m realistic enough to know that ain’t happening with the Obama (in)justice department running the show.

So, you’ll get to see her “skate”, but be prepared for 8 years of on-going failed impeachments.

As for “taking scalps”, both Clintons and Obama have used the left like blow-up dolls.

      • newworld July 6, 2016 at 10:22 am #

As a right winger I will admit there are many issues I would work with the left on, but since progressiveness is a jobs racket where the players are now convinced it is a zero sum game of loot it before someone else does I think its all toast.

Now we on the Right realize that in the Left metacult the cruelty artists now hold the whip hand.

Life sucks I guess but for you decent folk of the Left you will lose your safe spaces as this goes forward and it won’t be the gated community armed guards cruelty artists that will lose any sleep, psychopaths sleep well, it will be you who is blamed.

  5. sprawlcapital July 4, 2016 at 9:28 am #

My wife was sleeping upstairs as I was reading this latest CFN post, and I think i woke her up by literally laughing out loud!

I totally despise the term “grandkid” as a substitute for “grandchild”. It’s widespread adoption in the past five years or so is a fair indicator of our civilizational decline. How appropriate then that sleazy Bill Clinton, above, calls his grandchild “grandkid”.

Hello JHK. I just ordered The Harrows of Spring from Amazon. I loved the first 3 books of the series, despite a few error and debatable points. (It takes a combination of corn meal and flour to make cornbread; cornmeal alone won’t do.) The social and technical aspects of a post-apocalyptic society fascinate me. Your vision looks like the old west circa 1870. In my vision the world looks like Haiti; poor, corrupt, and brutal with a few rich on top.

    • homesteader July 4, 2016 at 3:59 pm #

I guess I’ll have to tell my wife, then, that the excellent cornbread she makes with our home-grown cornmeal alone isn’t really cornbread.

      • toktomi July 5, 2016 at 2:14 am #

        You grow cornmeal~?~

That surely must save time on the old-time grinding process.

I only write this stuff to make myself laugh.

I believe Slick Willie wants another turn in the free government housing so he can be the first first husband and notch the four-poster bed in the Lincoln bedroom as many times as his pacemaker and Rodans schedule will permit.

Jim, your projections about the fun and frolic potential in Philly seems rather like you have been either casting bones or talking to some black bag fellers from the Alphabet Soup Company.

Have a happy, safe and sane Independance Day CFNers!

  9. Being There July 4, 2016 at 10:17 am #

    Enjoy this Fourth of July!

Yes, indeed this election looks like two hated/hateful individuals doing everything they can to not hold the Hot Potato of power in the dying empire. With all the things happening to the global financial casino of our making, there’s gonna be some big blow-back and who wants to be in power when that happens. (It’s Advanced Friedmanism)

Trump is a whole subject onto himself with the latest twitter with Hillary, money and the Star of David. Mhmmmmm…..Don’t tell me he wants to be holding the bag…

And Obama looks as happy as can be about leaving….can’t wait.

So when Bill left the WH in 2000 he made a statement that he and Hillary want to make history by getting back into the WH.—But this moment in time may have given him buyers remorse.

Indeed this is a clear case of racketeering and the Trumpmeister is pretty filthy too in his business dealing and not paying people, etc….

I say the idea of statesmanship world wide is dead…..What’s left is technocrats leading the CEO class and bankster oligarchs in the brave new world of the end of democracy everywhere….
No representation for the teeming billions who’s wealth is being extracted.

Oh, lest I forget all this over the death of a living planet in favor of the dead planet Mars by those who think they can escape their sins.

If there was a god it would make it clear—-clean up your mess before you defile another planet.

Putin has all the dirt on Hillary so, he will determine her fate. Now…, under what conditions or political calculation he reveals it is anybody’s guess.

To reveal all the dead bodies and Flying Monkeys NOW would devastate Hillary Rodan but, there would still be enough time to crank up a new crisis or circus to distract We Teh Sheep and make her look “Presidential” again.” It doesn’t matter one whit what We Teh Sheep think. The MSM is, by fiat, the reflection of the common rabble and, if the MSM is fine with Hillary, then that automatically means that Teh Sheep are fine with Hillary.

Perhaps Putin can orchestrate an October Surprise with Hillary Rodan’s e-mails. October is cutting it awfully close and the MSM can do a serious hatchet job on Trump between now and then. If Trump can’t amp up his pathetic organization, vocabulary, and public speaking skills, the Lies will overpower him and Hillary will win on sheer momentum DESPITE Putin releasing all the e-mails.

If the entire race collapses and no candidates from either ZOG-approved party are available, this will give Obama the chance to ask Congress to appoint Joe Biden as President after he leaves office. I’m sure, buried DEEP in Bush and Cheney’s NWO architecture, are provisions to do just that. The entire objective is to repeal the very idea of popular election of the POTUS and orchestrate a total collapse of that process. Thus, conditioning We Teh Sheep to accept an appointed POTUS because some fabricated crisis.

    • Dumbedup July 4, 2016 at 5:04 pm #

If that were true then I would think Putin would reveal what he knows at the moment that would benefit Russia and her allies the most. The most important thing to Putin is the drive a wedge into dollar hegemony and make America weaker economically and militarily. Unless it would result in war. Our military advantage would linger even if the dollar was no longer the world’s reserve currency. So picking the time is tricky. Non-democratic foreign nations have frequently misjudged our politics.

It seems to me that the best time would be AFTER a Hillary win in November but before she takes office. It might mean she becomes President anyway but as a weakened President who might be impeached.

      • JimInFlorida July 4, 2016 at 5:39 pm #

How did I miss the scenario in your last sentence???

Yes, that is a gamble BUT, a weak Hillary will only give us the same hand puppets that we’ve had already i.e. Obama and GW Bush.

By design, only a candidate who is completely vulnerable to blackmail is permitted to occupy the Oval Office. Who knows what kind of skeletons are in Trump’s closet but, Hillary is sitting on top of the Khmer Rouge’s Mountain of Bones in comparison! We only see the skulls on the surface of the great pile.

But…, its the hidden political treasures deep inside, where the flesh, entrails, and evidence have not been disturbed, those treasures Hillary would keep hidden at any cost. Even if it means her ZOG Handlers blackmail her to drive straight for WW3 and make it look like Moscow started it!

      • outsider July 5, 2016 at 9:00 am #

Dmitry Orlov writes that Russia’s weapons technology is far superior to ours. I hope he’s correct.

  11. Walter B July 4, 2016 at 11:01 am #

I am compelled to ask you James that even in your wildest dreams you ever thought it remotely possible that the grand old nation in which we grew up could ever degrade to the point that it has degraded to today? I am certainly depressingly stunned by the slide into retardation. And how about that “rule of law” once touted as the centerpiece of the once mighty Republic? It is far better described today as the “Rule of the Dogs”!

Last week I was compelled to retain an attorney to represent me against my own Township Committee of which I am a member. The flagrant law breaking by this body including acts felony have reached the point of mandated action on my part. In the discussion of what action to take, the possibility of lawsuit itself was quickly dismissed as fruitless after my attorney described an almost identical case he was involved in where the judge (in the next county over) determined that while that Township governing body did in fact break multiple laws, doing so was not all that uncommon by municipal government and therefore for some strange reason acceptable in his estimation.

Yes, it has degraded to the level of the Beverly Hillbillies on Crack.

  12. Bro Jobe July 4, 2016 at 11:14 am #

Far be it from me to defend the Clintons, but let’s get real here for a moment.

Why in the hell did Cheney not go to prison for massaging the facts in a rush to war that left 4,000+ Americans dead in Iraq?

That’s why I could care less about Hillary’s e-mail server. We had a war criminal go free after getting so many in our military murdered, for no reason at all beyond Neocon fantasies of a big Risk-game in the Middle East. Benghazi–on so many GOP rear bumpers–pales in comparison.

I’m more angry at Hillary for voting for the Iraq War, the biggest US foreign-policy mistake since Vietnam, than I am over her mistakes about Libya.

    • Elrond Hubbard July 4, 2016 at 11:32 am #

Bro Jobe: “Why in the hell did Cheney not go to prison”?

Because there are two sets of Americans today. These sets are defined by their relationship to the police. There are the ones that the police work for, and everyone else. Anyone interested in the details of how this all works in practice can start by reading Matt Taibbi’s The Divide and go from there.

      • Walter B July 4, 2016 at 12:07 pm #

And the sad and frightening reality of this is that the “law enforcement” agencies exist to ONLY enforce the laws that pertain to the civilian population and NOT the politicians. As a lawmaker myself I swear to you all that there is NO authority that is in the business of enforcing laws that the politicians are supposedly required to obey. The Prosecutor’s Offices refuse to get involved, forget about the police, and the courts no longer even care to consider law enforcement to those who rule. I am NOT making this up, I am actually living it right now and it is FACT! Lawmakers are above the law and the clowns in the black dresses as well as the idiots with the sunglasses and the Uzi’s are all in business to assure that this never changes. Give it up people, the is NO hope, there is only dope and that is available in large quantities for good reason….

    • Walter B July 4, 2016 at 11:33 am #

It sounds as though you have accepted corruption because Dick Cheney got away with it (he is probably the MOST evil man yet alive today) and I hope I am incorrect because that is what allows corruption to spread, acceptance by the electorate. Sure he was corrupt and so was Bush the First and Regan and Johnson and Nixon and all the rest after the JFK murder. Jimmy Carter may have been a decent fellow, but look how that worked out for us all.

Yes America has accepted corruption as the norm and frankly I cannot be too harsh on her for what choice were we given anyway? Nonetheless, the doom we shall get is the doom we have earned even though we had no choice. Embrace corruption for it is what we do!

      • Dumbedup July 4, 2016 at 5:34 pm #

Political money is protected by the First Amendment as “speech.” That is not a recent as in Citizens United, but goes back to the 1970s. Furthermore, political corruption itself goes all the way back to George Washington before the US even became a country.

That said, direct bribery (quid pro quo) is still illegal. It is just difficult to discover and even more difficult to prove. But it is not by accident or bribery itself. Rough and tumble (and borderline criminal) politics has always been protected by the Supreme Court, but it’s not that political corruption is never prosecuted or punished. In a 10 year period from the mid 1990s until about 2005 there were over 400 convictions for corruption in Illinois alone.

Addendum: I said the police, but I really mean all law enforcement. When the next financial crisis hits, which it will, a generous portion of the blame will belong to Eric Holder’s Justice department for doing nothing about the causes of the previous one.

      • Janos Skorenzy July 4, 2016 at 12:23 pm #

He was the worst Attorney General in US History. He openly said he would not prosecute people of his own race when the Black Panthers terrorized White voters. And as soon as he called for a dialogue on race – as if we ever talk about anything else – he immediately called Whites cowards, making any such discussion impossible.

He was no better than Obama, King, or Mandela. A monster.

Bro Jobe, Why whitewash Hillary’s exceedingly poor judgment on Libya (and, I’m not talking about Benghazi, which was a very minor incident that the GOP blew way out of proportion). Killing Khadafi and destroying Libya is the gift that keeps on giving. Khadafi had said that without him, there would be a huge invasion of Africans into Europe. Europe is paying the price for Hillary’s totally unnecessary, stupid war.

Not that different from the destruction of Iraq, another gift that keeps on giving.

But when you look at US foreign policy without the distortion of corporate party red vs corporate party blue, you’ll see that there has been no change over at least the last 16 years.

You’re putting together quite a body of work, Jim. Congratulations on the publication of ‘The Harrows of Spring’. (I’m going to try to make it up to Manchester VT next Sat.)

Many writers are pretty much burned out by the time they get into their 60s. Hell, many don’t even make it into their 50s — DH Lawrence, Jack Kerouac, George Orwell, and Malcolm Lowry all died at age 47! Ken Kesey was finished at 30! Paul Theroux, a contemporary of yours (do you know him? I’ve read in person he’s a little misanthropic), also, is still writing interesting books, ‘Deep South’ being his last one; two authors of the same generation who have seen much of life, and despite your political inclinations, have written about it honestly!

This is the last of the ‘World Made by Hand’ series. Is a general ‘summing up’ in the offing, like ‘The Education of Henry Adams’, a look at the past, and predictions for the future?

Was reading a little about one of your heroes, Chesty Puller. One time in Korea, a Priest ordered a busy young man to take charge of four prisoners. The young soldier protested strongly saying he had to get some munitions or something. The Priest insisted. The young soldier then said, These are now my prisoners? The Priest said, Yes. The soldier then sprayed them with machine gun fire. The outraged priest demanded that Chesty arrest him. Chesty complied, only to release him and give him a promotion (“a bar”) a few miles away.

To me this is a fascinating story. Are both Chesty and the young soldier war criminals? Or were they just doing what it takes to win any war? Was the Priest wrong to have commanded him to stop what he was doing? Obviously a mistake, but was he morally wrong? Could any war be won with such priests hanging around?

I know your answer. You say go for it. And you may be right: the West wasn’t won by being nice nor will we keep our country that way. Was there always this conflict? Was it ever any different? Apparently it was: at times war was mostly fought between gentlemen. As General Sherman said, based on what he learned at West Point, he deserved execution for his treatment of the South.

Terror works. There was a General out this way famous for his execution of Indians and the mass killing of horses to clip their wings and keep them from raiding. Everyone hates him now and nitpicks his decisions. He was wrong about a chief he had put to death for example. But how many times was he right? How many lives of Whites did he save?

Muslims are doing the same thing to us in Europe. And Blacks and Hispanics here as well. Truly Satan is the King of this World. And as St Paul said, spirituality is foolishness to the man of the world. You can have Chesty or St Francis, but not both at the same time and place. You have no doubts: Chesty. I see the need for both at different times, and even when going with one, the other must be kept in mind. But we are definitely coming to a Chesty phase. Francis is going to have hide his eyes. We will have much to confess and repent of.

      • Walter B July 4, 2016 at 1:21 pm #

You are correct in what you say of General Sherman in that his instruction at his Rockbound Highland Home included specific disciplines that were intended to prevent military action from transitioning into outright murder. This remained true for our Class of 1976 as well and was evidenced when Stanley McChrystal stated to Old Monkey Ears that “for every civilian casualty he caused in the Middle East he created ten insurgents. Of course Stan was immediately replaced and then quickly retired, clear evidence that when scum takes over the role of government, Robert’s Rules are quickly replaced by Blackbeard’s Rules of Booty. Those of us who took our instruction seriously are now unfit for service to a nation ruled by thieves and so either have to die off or be rooted out and eliminated. Frankly I care not which way they choose for if you ask my opinion it is the nation that is unfit for service to me and not I to it.

        • Janos Skorenzy July 4, 2016 at 1:50 pm #

But can modern wars be won by playing by the rules? Everything is guerilla or fourth generational now. The only way Germany was conquered was by massive atrocities against the civilian population that broke the people. We don’t have what it takes to do that anymore and that’s not completely a bad thing. It just means we can’t win any wars. Didn’t Washington tell us to mind our own business way back at the beginning?

Folks like BRH can’t accept this because WW2 and guys like Chesty are “IT” for him, the epitome of what America is or should be. As I said above, he’s wrong and he’s right. Or as Emerson said, take what you want, but pay the price. And the price of conquering another people might be your own humanity in the best sense.

It’s universal, not something just for Whites. The great Sioux Holy Man, Fools Crow spoke of the corruptions of war, whether it was against other Indians or White Men; of how he spent countless hours with returned veterans, trying to heal their shattered spirits. And the Sioux were very warlike. How do Holy Men like him reconcile that with the inner part of their own religion? Not easily in any case.

          • Janos Skorenzy July 4, 2016 at 1:57 pm #

Thus any man who goes out to fight another people, as did the North in the War of Northern Aggression, wars against his own soul. And when it’s over, it isn’t over because the war then continues in his own conscience, what to speak of any other horrors he’s seen or perpetrated. So then he must either admit the Truth, or lie about his own virtue. And we always hate those whom we have wronged as witness the treatment of the South after the war or Germany. Thus one corruption leads hard upon the heals of another – and soon we find ourselves ruled by Monsters like Bush, Obama, or God forbid, Hillary.

          • Walter B July 4, 2016 at 2:56 pm #

No war can be “won” my friend, there are only losers on both sides, it is only a matter of degree. Those who win adopt the negative qualities of those whom they defeat and there will never be a war that ends all war unless it wipe us all out in the process. As JS so aptly replies below, those who war, war against their own soul. I can never argue FOR war and must admit that playing at war was an awful lot of fun. It bonds men in ways that no other endeavor seems to do, and so remains the greatest of all shames that this same ability to work together as a cohesive, like minded unit cannot be had in any other activity of man. Perhaps that is why sports is so popular as it emulates it in many ways. But it is NOT the same, not even close.

          • Janos Skorenzy July 4, 2016 at 3:12 pm #

Disagree. Defeat against an invasion is terrible and equally galling to the soul – and it involves the fate of one’s entire people. Self defense is noble and necessary. If warriors fail in their attempt, at least they can be at peace insofar as they did their duty and gave their best. Of course they still have to watch the crucifixion of their Nation and all the atrocities that involves as per the Old South and Nationalist Germany.

Krishna’s instructions to Arjuna are very clear in this regard. Christ is silent on this – and we are the poorer for it.

Agree about the moral equivalent of war. That nothing can be found that can unite men so deeply shows we are a fallen race. For some, great projects like the Exploration of Space or Saving the Environment can do it. The Left are obviously better at this since they consider themselves in a permanent state of war – and that too is corruption for them and for the nation and takes us back to the basic question again.

          • JimInFlorida July 4, 2016 at 4:20 pm #

Janos, the silence of Christ regarding war and self-defense was very likely caused by the highly selective process of how the Bible was compiled at the Council of Nicea in the late 4th century. Jesus DID tell his disciples to buy swords, even if it meant selling one’s robe. The backstory of that event, of course, is conspicuously absent.

Both Emperor Constantine and the crypto-Jewish scholars in the Council were only interested in converting the pagans. The Bible was NOT compiled to impart secret wisdom and powerful knowledge to the masses. The crypto-Jews ensured that the Bible presented a theme which asserts that God’s entire focus was on the Jews and nobody else. Whether for good or evil, reward or punishment, the Bible claims that God only spoke through the Jews, gave the Law through the Jews, and, by Levitical right, they have authority above all men.

NO OTHER RELIGION ON EARTH recognizes that extraordinary claim. The West only knows a heavily whitewashed Judaism, that chimera Jewdeo-Xtianity, and Islam. All Abrahamic religions are corrupted to varying degrees. The West hasn’t seen Legitimate Christianity, at large, in a century.

The weapon to break free of the Christian-Jewish-Islamic prison is by extensive reading of the Bhagavad Gita, the Upanishads, and the Vedas. Those ancient and uncontaminated holy books make NO MENTION of Jews or recognition of their extraordinary claims. Just the fact that Divine Mind can be accessed without Jewish permission liberates the mind and open it to an education superior to the Bible i.e. Truths about the soul, karma, rebirth, the nature of divine power, and the universe.

God’s knowledge is all over the world. Ancient European mythologies, ancient Egypt, the monks of ancient Scetis, Tibetan Book of the Dead, American Indian beliefs, the Kolbrin, Swedenborg, etc. Spend your life studying them and you’ll find out what Jesus Christ probably said about a lot of things but, never got published.

          • Janos Skorenzy July 4, 2016 at 6:51 pm #

Yes, it’s extraordinary how little of Christ’s teaching we have. John says at the end of his gospel that all the books in the world couldn’t have held it – so why didn’t he write a bit more about it? Something is really off. No doubt He was a great Being, but the culture just wasn’t advanced enough to hold what he had to give. Even the Muslims did better with Mohammad, a far inferior Being: they recorded a vast amount of what he said and did. They know Mohammad’s views on an extraordinary range of subjects.

In Christianity’s defense: the Jews were just supposed to be the vehicle not the end all and be all. The Church was now the chosen vehicle. To have reversed this as the Church has done in recent years, is utter heresy and capitulation to the dark powers.

          • messianicdruid July 4, 2016 at 8:26 pm #

“The West hasn’t seen Legitimate Christianity, at large, in a century.”

This is true, as I noted last week, “Dispensationalism has misidentified the players”. And as noted above, the translators have taken liberties with the texts : to bring honor to Esau and his hordes by impersonation.

“The disciples said, Sire, are you bringing us strife or peace, do you prepare us for battle? Are we to rally the people? Jesus said, Do you still not understand, I am a man of peace and I and unsheath only the sword of the spirit. This is not the easy way, for it is less difficult to change things with the sword than with soft words, and those who oppose us understand that better. But let only those who would use weapons with courage talk about soft words and peace, otherwise better man will justifiably scorn them as cowards. Cowards talk about peace and brave men about war, but I tell you that when brave men talk peace and cowards are sent to war there will be no more strife and a new day will dawn.”

Stanley McChrystal lost his career because he wrongly assumed Michael Hastings wouldn’t report on his and his officers insubordinate attitude to their commander-in-chief. At least there’s one principle, civilian control over the military, that remains intact these days.

          • Walter B July 4, 2016 at 3:02 pm #

What country are you from EH that you think the civilians control the military? The defense contractors own the political puppets who do their bidding and buy their products of death utilizing OUR money. Our military is Corporately controlled. I assume you never served my friend did you, for if you did and met with the true owners of our country you could not make such an erroneous observation. The civilian population simply provides the cannon fodder or more correctly the IED fodder to keep the cash flow going.

You make a fair point; the Pentagon is a notrious brothel. The country I come from is Canada, and no, I haven’t served in the armed forces. Still, for what it’s worth I think most of the corruption originates on the civilian side of the relationship, namely in Congress. There’s hardly a district in the U.S. that doesn’t have a stake in the F-35, to name just one grossly bloated program — even Bernie Sanders voted for it.

You too are what this day is all about! So shine up those SS collar pins, slip that swastika armband in place, click those spit-shined jack boot heels and give a weeping “sieg heil” of adoration to your portrait of Adolph Hitler! It too is your right as a ‘murkin (as LBJ would have put it!).

And when the mongrel nation in which you have chosen to live gets to you so much that you cannot stand it anymore, there is always the Svbodas in Ukraine, (perhaps not your kind of Slavic fascist, but Slavic fascist nonetheless!).

There is also the Austrian Freedom Party which may not be your kind of Nazi, but they despise any but “pure Aryans” just about as much as do you and they have managed to compel another election in the mountain kingdom after “election irregularities” were found in the most recent one.

And for the Republic of Skorenzy, may I suggest a fitting Anthem of politically correct praise, from Rogers and Hammerstein’s Sound of music:

        Edelweiss, Edelweiss
        Every morning you greet me
Small and white clean and bright
You look happy to meet me
Blossom of snow may you bloom and grow
        Bloom and grow forever
        Edelweiss,Edelweiss
        Bless my homeland forever.

Hey dude! The descendants of black people who built this land with their slave labor ain’t going back to Africa.

Also, the descendants of Chinese who slaved away building the transcontinental railway are not going back to China.

And the the descendants of Latinos whose countries were wrecked by military death squads that our CIA and our US military installed to replace their lawfully elected governments are not going back south of the border.

Neither are the countless Muslims seeking asylum because their already messed up countries we managed to make worse by the past 25 years of unrelenting warfare generating “the worst refugee crisis since WWII”.

And last but not least neither Janos Skorenzy nor his progeny will be returning to east-central Europe or Russia from whence they originated in spite of everything that makes the US less than perfect.

So ooze out your venom, froth your nonsense, and enjoy doing it because that too is what Independence Day means (see first amendment!) Happy July 4th Janos!.

I give a nuanced meditation on some of the aspects of war and this is your response? As Krishnamurti said of Gandhi, “He was an immensely violent man.” So are you.

Btw, Gandhi fought bravely against the Blacks in South Africa and was a decorated veteran in her Majesty’s forces – of which he was very proud. Your Gandhi is a creation of the creatures who control Hollywood and the publishing industry. So are you.

          • Elrond Hubbard July 4, 2016 at 3:58 pm #

Janos, your nuanced meditation might draw more sympathy if your favoured examples weren’t “the Old South and Nationalist Germany”. Two causes more worthy of defeat could hardly be named.

          • Janos Skorenzy July 4, 2016 at 6:44 pm #

If you can’t feel sympathy for them, you are simply incapable of any objectivity and goodness. You’re the kind who get upset about a Black being pushed off a train by football hooligans but yawns when he hears about thousands of British girls being sexually abused and enslaved by Muslims.

          • Elrond Hubbard July 4, 2016 at 11:32 pm #

Please be specific, Janos. How does what I wrote lead to your accusation of the kind of person I am? Calling someone “the kind who” this or that is a thought-terminating cliché if you can’t actually connect the dots.

The Old South was a slave empire embedded within the greater empire of the U.S.A. When the threat arose that slavery would not be extended into newly-settled territories, the slave empire rose up and was defeated at a tremendous cost of lives. The stamping out of slavery was a pure win for humanity, won at a terrible cost. The slaveowners did have another option: they could have recognized the humanity of the slaves, released them and paid reparations. A nuanced meditation on that option might conclude that it was preferable to mass slaughter in order to preserve slaveowners’ privilege.

As for Nazi Germany, it was a belligerent psycho-state that initiated the war in Europe, culminated in genocide, and ended in the utter ruin and dismemberment of its own land as well as others. I have great sympathy for Germans who endured aerial bombardment, post-war forced repatriations, and many other calamities arising out of Nazi warmongering. That sympathy is greater in the case of civilians and lesser in the case of, say, members of the SS. I have sympathy for their victims, too, of whom there were a very great many indeed.

          • Janos Skorenzy July 5, 2016 at 12:37 am #

Slavery was doomed in the long run – which may not have been that long btw. The South had its own abolition movement. Pius the lX (I believe) corresponded unofficially with Jefferson Davis. He believed that the Puritan Culture that had mutated into Yankee Capitalism was the greatest threat to the world. Later events proved how prescient he was.

All the forces of Hell descended on Germany – all because they wanted to be free of the Bankers and Internationalists and be their own people again. Same people are now destroying the rest of the West. You’re one of them.

Your “concerns” are all very stereotyped, hackneyed, and officially approved – like they come from Amnesty International’s website or something. The mass rape of European Women by Muslims isn’t officially recognized yet, so it doesn’t exist for you. You are displaying a full retard level of awareness and self knowledge here.

Official psychology refuses to recognize post-abortion syndrome too, but that doesn’t stop it from causing great pain in the good women who experience it.

          • outsider July 5, 2016 at 9:54 am #

            Elrond,
The history of which you speak is what I learned in high school. But I eventually saw through that, as you haven’t. History is written by the winners, so “official” history should always be questioned. The War of Northern Aggression was much more about trade and Lincoln’s hubris than it was about slavery. Indeed Lincoln said (when campaigning and first elected) that slavery could continue in the South as long as the nation remained whole. Those 800,000 or so lost lives lie on Lincoln’s head. Per the Constitution, the South had every right to secede.

          • Elrond Hubbard July 5, 2016 at 12:40 pm #

Janos: “All the forces of Hell descended on Germany – all because they wanted to be free of the Bankers and Internationalists and be their own people again.”

Yeah, that’s what’s known as motive. Under the Nazi party, Germany committed the overt act of invading Poland — the guilty act — in furtherance of its agenda to subjugate, colonize and exploit the east — the guilty mind. America’s wars in Vietnam and Iraq each had their reasons and were no less criminal. Here’s a hint if you ever murder someone: in the interrogation room, when the cops say, “He was gonna come at you, right? You had to defend yourself.” they’re not trying to help you explain how you’re not guilty. They’re to trying to help you explain how you are guilty.

Regarding this supposed epidemic of mass rape of European women by Muslim men, make your case. Another hint: You’ll do much, much better if you can cite primary sources. If I see one anti-Semitic cartoon, you lose.

There were plenty of skilled slaves in the old South.

            nationalhumanitiescenter.org/tserve/freedom/1609-1865/essays/slavelabor.htm

“I have my Flocks and my Herds, my Bond-men and Bond-women, and every soart [sic] of Trade amongst my own Servants,” wrote William Byrd II in 1727, who expressed an ideal of being able to “live in a kind of Independence on everyone but Providence.” [EH: Because his slaves’ work belonged to him, you see.]

… “[T]he Planter has Tradesmen of all kinds in his Gang of Slaves, and ‘tis a Rule with them, never to pay Money for what can be made upon their Estates, not a Lock, a Hing [sic] or a Nail if they can avoid it.” In other words, planters expected enslaved people to perform a wide range of jobs that included carpenter, cooper, boatman, cook, seamstress, and blacksmith, to mention only a few of the skilled functions required around plantations. [EH: Infrastructure!]

Just Google “skilled slave labor” if you want more details. You’re welcome.

Having no sense of humor is a tell-tale sign of psychological dysfunction. Also, the line between irony and hypocrisy can be a thin one not easily discerned by the fanatic.

The greater threat to the US has not been Jewish bankers but the UK. Its interference (as in the civil war provocations of the South) and entangled alliances (WWI and WWII) have gone a long way to strip the US of its treasure and its youth.

Adolph Hitler’s “financial genius” was aided to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars from the likes of the Rockefeller and Morgan (neither of whom were Jewish) banking houses and technological counsel and planning from companies like Ford, GM, Standard Oil and IBM. This at a time when the US was struggling in the throes of the great depression of the 1930’s.

The technological advances that were counseled and overseen by Ford, GM, IBM, and Standard Oil and other US corporations were what brought Germany from the horse and buggy era to the mass production and technologically advanced state it became in the 1930’s.

Some of these US industrialists did so out of a hatred of Jews and communists, but most were drooling at the prospect of making money by selling to both sides of a major world conflagration that they knew was coming.

It then follows what I’ve said here before. The surest deterrent to WW3, or imperial proxy war against Russia, is if Putin can GUARANTEE the prompt extermination of ZOG-NATO’s billionaires AND in a short time window.

In other words, inflict the kind of TERROR upon our Top 1% that overpowers their psychoses and compels them to call off their schemes for war. If the billionaires, whether individually or collectively, KNOW that Ultimate Justice will find them speedily, they WILL DO or PAY what it takes to save their own hides.

MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) is no longer a deterrent because the Top 1% feel certain they can ride out the mass genocide in special shelters. They are perfectly willing to wipe out a billion or two if the long term goal of a ZOG World can arise from the ashes. Therefore, by their actions, they have confessed their guilt and approved their execution.

This should be the bumper sticker slogan for the anti-war crowd and humanity in general: “KILL THE BILLIONAIRES OR BILLIONS WILL BE KILLED.” It’s just that simple.

          Hitlers speeches.

What did he say? In 1000 words or less.

          • JimInFlorida July 4, 2016 at 11:49 pm #

Complete translations are not readily available and I don’t speak German. I have been able to read bits and pieces of translated transcripts.

Essentially, Hitler called out the very same mafias that plague We Teh Serfs, right here and NOW in ZOG Amerika! He lambasted the moneychangers in London and castigated the Jewish merchants and Jewish playwrights who corrupted the moral fiber of German society with homosexual and interracial plays during the Weimar Republic.

Hitler also called for building the Autobahn and making cars affordable for all Germans so they could travel and enjoy vacations. YES, he said that and made it happen. A LOT of things he called for would resonate with the angry Silent White Majority in ZOG Amerika today BECAUSE we are now experiencing the same ubiquitous and stinking rot that caused desperate Germans to embrace Hitler.

Hitler did NOT want war but, was forced to take preemptive measures because the Jews in London were calling in all their favors to draw Washington into war. Thus helping them put Germany back on to the Rothschild’s assets and balance sheets.

Vlad, General Puller might have been reacting to the way the Chinese and NKoreans treated American POWs in that war, the most brutal the US was ever engaged in.

A war of extermination, no quarter asked, none given.

It will be interesting to see what the next Korean War will look like, and how US Armed Forces, with their transvestite, woman and homosexual soldiers and Marines will match up with the 6 million strong NKorean Army, including the 88,000 troops in the highly trained, highly motivated Special Forces. Rest assured these wolves are not concerned with ‘transgender rights’, the glass ceiling, special latrines in well appointed barracks, or the gay agenda. From what I’ve read they are trained killers, nothing else.

“I’m more angry at Hillary for voting for the Iraq War” — Bro Jobe

Technically Hillary voted to authorize funds for war. The Congress must declare war.

George W. Bush illegally and unconstitutionally ordered troops to fight without a formal congressional declaration of war. The executive acted illegally, not Hillary.

Technically what wpa said is correct. By that standard all wars since WWII have been illegal – which they were.

    • JimInFlorida July 4, 2016 at 4:55 pm #

Authorizing funds is every bit as guilty as the political ritual to permit the crime to go forward. The funds are like fuel in the tank of a bomber. They go together and perform the same act of imperial destruction.

Lord Bush and Viceroy Cheney did what precedence has allowed for since the Korean War. Hillary is every bit as guilty as the Nazi Germany officers in the dock during the Nuremburg Trials.

“The funds are like fuel in the tank of a bomber. They go together and perform the same act of imperial destruction.”

If I put fuel in the tank, no one dies.

If you get into the bomber, fly it over people, and release bombs to kill people, then we are not equally guilty. It is not “the same act”.

You are really straining wpa. One does not load a gun, or fuel a bomber, or fund a war for nothing.

A short blurb from The Blaze:

Sen. Cory Booker No Longer Denies Being Vetted as Potential Clinton VP

WASHINGTON (AP) — New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker is no longer flatly denying that he’s being vetted as a potential running mate for presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. Booker has said in recent weeks that it was flattering to be mentioned but that he wasn’t being vetted. …

What would possess a politician to tell a lie like this, first thing outta the box?

  16. Q. Shtik July 4, 2016 at 1:02 pm #

It has been roughly 8 hours since the news ‘Nigel Farage to quit as UKIP leader in wake of Brexit vote’ in a manner similar to Boris Johnson. I am surprised no one here has even mentioned this.

    • Elrond Hubbard July 4, 2016 at 1:18 pm #

What’s there to say? The table has been kicked over in exactly the way Farage always wanted. He’s not Boris Johnson — he saw Brexit as his goal, not his stepping stone to the prime ministership — so what better note for him to exit on?

    • wpa_ccc July 4, 2016 at 2:35 pm #

Maybe we did not want to rub it in, Q, but since you brought it up…

Both major Caucasian figures (Boris and Nigel) are lying cowards. The Brexit “referendum” is not even legally binding. It is a non-event.

The U.K. should chose a Muslim P.M. (like London had the good sense to do) … at least Muslims have a good Protestant work ethic and don’t surrender at the slightest challenge like Boris and Nigel did. Muslims have both the intelligence needed for executive leadership and the balls and stamina to follow through. Britain needs more Muslims.

      • Elrond Hubbard July 4, 2016 at 3:18 pm #

wpa_ccc: ‘The Brexit “referendum” is not even legally binding. It is a non-event.’

You ought to know better than that. Yes, Parliament is sovereign, and therefore no, the referendum is not binding, but get real. If they wanted to, the powers that be in Britain couldn’t invent a more expeditious way to immolate whatever remains of their credibility than trying to either ignore the referendum or undo it with a second one. And the rest of the EU is making it very clear they have no interest in opening up yet more concessions as a way of appeasing Leave voters. Barring some unforeseen turn of events, Brexit is happening.

More than credibility, the actual country is at stake. The UK was already in serious danger of breaking up before this happened. Even after Westminster agreed to devolve power and let Scotland have its own Parliament, Scotland still nearly left and that was before their expressed will to remain in the EU was overruled by non-London English. As a Canadian, I can well sympathize with the UK’s predicament, since my own country was nearly chopped in two a couple of decades back when Québec held its own referendum. We may be about to see three centuries of history coming to an end.

        • wpa_ccc July 4, 2016 at 8:43 pm #

“…trying to either ignore the referendum…”

There is need to try… there are rules (like 65% approval and 75% voter participation) and the referendum did not meet the minimum requirements for legitimacy. It is not a mandate for Brexit… to the contrary it can be safely ignored.

          • Elrond Hubbard July 4, 2016 at 10:16 pm #

If it were true that the referendum can be safely ignored, then we would see that happening and several well-known careers would still be on rails. Also, your willingness to blithely disregard the democratically expressed will of the people if it doesn’t suit you speaks volumes.

          • wpa_ccc July 5, 2016 at 12:13 am #

I am only telling you what is actually happening in real time. As we write the referendum is being ignored.

Not ignoring means no immediate invocation of Article 50, which is legally required to start a two-year long process to end participation in the EU.

Instead we are seeing that article 50 is not being invoked. We are seeing ignoring the referendum, which in any event is non-binding both legally and politically or any other way you what to look at it. Just face reality … instead of fantasizing that something is happening which is clearly not happening. Brexit was a non-event.

          • wpa_ccc July 5, 2016 at 12:15 am #

Not ignoring means an immediate invocation of Article 50 … Which has not happened. The referendum is being ignored.

          • Elrond Hubbard July 5, 2016 at 10:23 pm #

Really? A law firm expressed a legal opinion? And they’re formidable, you say? Well then, by all means that settles it. I’m sure actual judges across Britain are lined up to vie for the historic opportunity to rubber-stamp it.

Although there are contrary opinions I’ve heard of:

            nakedcapitalism.com/2016/06/does-invoking-article-50-require-the-approval-of-parliament.html

            9. Parliament has no formal say over whether or when Article 50 is invoked, as this lies within the royal prerogative powers that are exercised by government…

            10. Parliament will, however, be able to vote on the withdrawal deal, as that will be a treaty.

The fact is, the UK and Europe are in uncharted waters. It’s the most serious crisis to hit the western world since the financial kerplooie. Seriously, neither you nor I are an expert in UK constitutional law, and even if we were, the present situation is absolutely textbook constitutional crisis material and everybody damn knows it — except you, apparently. The way you minimize it and insist on your preferred framing is just, frankly, weird. It looks and smells like pure denial.

Better for White Britain to arouse its comatose racial spirit and forcibly expel all Muslims, Jews, 3rd Worlders, and quislings among them. For every vacancy in housing or work, White Britain should encourage quality White Americans to “come home.”

White Britain has THE INALIENABLE RIGHT to not only survive but, THE RIGHT to order its native lands and its customs in such ways as to foster prosperity for the White British who belong there. White Britain requires MUCH stronger medicine than Rudyard Kipling’s, “THE WRATH OF THE AWAKENED SAXON.” Britain needs to be saturated with Enoch Powell’s commentaries in the media and Parliament.

As a brown person all I can say is that the white race is committing racial suicide. Culture was developed as a way to protect a given set of people. Culture allows for those who are in the culture to know immediately those outside the culture. The reason for this is because different races have different agendas.

As a brown person I would never ever commit this kind of racial suicide but for some reason the white race has decided that it deserves to be bred out of existence. The time will come when one of those brown Muslim will not thank you for letting them in but will kill you sllit your throat like a goat being sacrificed during the Eid holy day for being stupid enough to let them in.

        • Walter B July 4, 2016 at 8:12 pm #

A “brown person”? How cool! When my brown friends used to come over to visit my daughters used to call them the “brown guys”! I have always argued that blacks are really brown and that whites are really beige and after all, are these not simply different shades of the same color? Yeah, but I am the asshole, right? In any case look up the You Tube of a young Cassius Clay being interviewed by an English idiot about interracial marriage and see why I always loved that man, God rest his soul.

Yes, the white race has been duped (or sold out) into breeding itself our of existence and if you are really objective about it, we deserve it, for in the end, besides pandering to our own exorbitant lifestyles, what exactly have we done for the planet in the last 60+ years anyway? I never was convinced that Charles Darwin ever said anything about man developing from monkeys, but I am damned certain that he wrote extensively about survival of the fittest. I hear that! Your theory is plausible but Bill’s efforts at getting a quickie off of Loretta before her plane took off may not have been a good move.

Now a talented low level factotum with a passion to make the desired outcome of the indictment efforts happen can be identified. Brought front and center the chosen zealot will have an all consuming hatred for Hillary, or he/she will have and all encompassing love for neo-liberal globalization and the privilege of elites.

It all depends on the selection process, as it did in O.J.’s jury selection so long ago. This is how rich men get things done. Not any crazy will do, hiring the right kind of crazy matters.

Doing nothing might have been Bill’s better move unless something was whispered in his ear. We will never know if this were so.

Bill may have not been using the head on his shoulders to do his thinking. But thinking with something he was doing and he may have been thinking he could just turn on some magic man and it would all be good.

Okay, this news analysis from America.aljazeera.com about Hillary wanting to impose a “no-fly” zone over Syria and thus invite Russia to World War 3 really underlines that there is no “lesser evil” in Presidential Election 2016.

Also, if The Donald really wants to win the keys to the Oval Office, why does he have neither the funding nor the organizational structure in place to wage so much as a halfway decent presidential campaign, and why does he keep saying things such as what he said in the wake of the Orlando mass-shooting that only antagonizes likely voters? Some polls have Madame Hillary leading him by twelve points. It makes one wonder what might really be going on.

  19. volodya July 4, 2016 at 1:36 pm #

What to make of the little meeting between Bill and Loretta? I wonder what they discussed. Makes no difference what was said, the real import is that it happened at all, the real message is that neither of them have the slightest worry about it, that neither of them give a shit about appearances.

Was Hillary using her high office to conduct personal bizness? What difference does it make? There won’t be any legal consequence. Will the FBI investigation of her emails come to anything? IMO, no chance, no chance of any investigation or prosecution not getting quashed. Remember, this is the Holderian Age of Too Big to Jail.

Let’s ignore for the moment the millions paid by Oligarchs supposedly for Bill’s and Hill’s wit and wisdom. Even that stupendous amount pales. This isn’t only about giving money to a politician, no matter the cause, charitable or not. Mind you, these are cosmic sized numbers, way beyond cash-stuffed envelopes from greasy businessmen.

Amazing this is, the difficult optics of these seeming quid pro quos requires not just moxy but King Kong sized balls because you can’t hide this stuff and the likelihood of having to brazen out some awkward questions is around 100 per cent. So how do you square this monumental gall with the abject boneheadedness of not following government procedures for electronic communication? This would have been easy. I guess gall and idiocy aren’t opposites, you can have surpluses of both.

I differ with Kunstler, even if friendly media are trying to position the issue as one of mere security protocols, electronic security is no frivolity and this alone should have been enough to destroy her candidacy. Maybe, if the FBI asks nicely, Putin or the Chinese will be good enough to hand over all those missing thousands of personal email messages.

To anyone with a stitch of sense this email fubar should have disqualified the entrant a long time ago. Amazing that it didn’t.

On the contrary, Volodya, in the real world State Dept. servers have been hacked, and data has been stolen.

      • Elrond Hubbard July 4, 2016 at 4:12 pm #

Um, what? The idea that a privately-operated server in someone’s basement is likely to be more secure than one operated by security professionals, or able to withstand attackers equipped with the resources of a nation-state, is just laughably stupid. If Wikipedia is to be believed, they weren’t even encrypting the server’s traffic for the first two months, much less giving it the kind of hardening and vetting any remotely serious security application requires. Even after they moved the actual physical server into a data center, it was placed inside a closet next to the bathroom. I wouldn’t be surprised if the servers hosting this very blog had better physical security than that. Your comment is ludicrous.

        • wpa_ccc July 4, 2016 at 9:17 pm #

And what evidence do ou have to support your assertion?

WASHINGTON — A former aide to Hillary Clinton has turned over to the F.B.I. computer security logs from Mrs. Clinton’s private server, records that showed no evidence of foreign hacking, according to people close to a federal investigation into Mrs. Clinton’s emails.

The security logs bolster Mrs. Clinton’s assertion that her use of a personal email account to conduct State Department business while she was the secretary of state did not put American secrets into the hands of hackers or foreign governments.

          • Q. Shtik July 4, 2016 at 10:16 pm #

          • Elrond Hubbard July 4, 2016 at 10:48 pm #

A lack of evidence of foreign hacking? I call that a relief, but evidence that isn’t there isn’t proof. Regarding my assertion, I initially relied anecdotally on the exchange transcribed here:

            grc.com/sn/sn-522.htm

Just search for the name “Clinton” on the page. It’s a transcript of the Security Now! podcast where the host, Steve Gibson, seems to be referring to this story:

            dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3201367/Hillary-s-email-firm-run-loft-apartment-servers-BATHROOM-raisin…

According to the New York Times, the private e-mail server was initially housed in the basement of Clinton’s home beginning in January 2009. It was later moved (in mid-2013, according to the Daily Mail story) to a site located in Denver, Colorado and hosted by Platte River Networks, a company with ties to the Democratic Party. Their business was run out of a private apartment unit, which is where the closet next to the bathroom was turned into a server room.

So: basement or bathroom, take your pick. Any server needs to be secured, as Jim’s experience with DDOS attacks a couple of weeks ago demonstrates. And I think you’ll agree that Jim’s blog is several orders of magnitude less significant, and less likely to be targeted for penetration, than an e-mail server being used by the Secretary of bloody State. (No offense, Jim!) You don’t take chances with a thing like that — not, that is, if your priority is security. If you have other priorities, you might act differently.

I don’t know what kind of setup they had to prevent electronic penetration of the server, although the idea that they were sending and receiving e-mail in the clear for two months doesn’t inspire confidence. But that aside, ordinary physical security is non-optional. If you don’t have physical security for the server, then you don’t have security, period. All the fancy electronic stuff doesn’t even enter into it if the physical unit is as easy to get to as a high-schooler’s locker.

It would be good for the nation of Hilary Clinton is indicted for her mischievous ways with email when she was the Secretary of State. Indictment would may result in some unanticipated consequences which could jolt the nation’s framework.

    1. She likely would not be nominated for POTUS.

    2. Bernie Sanders, or perhaps some other leader with less socialistic tendencies, may be nominated.

    3. It may destroy the Democratic Party, which would be very good.

    4. It could cause the Republican Party to pause and think about the framework and hopefully re-read, or read, the fundamental documents that led up to the Declaration of Independence and the codification of the Constitution.

    5. Citizens may finally realize that the present two-party system is a sham – analogous to the unstable two-legged stool – and the need for a third party of equal weight and power to the present two would be a major force in establishing competent leadership that is not overtly corrupt.

    6. Given the likelihood of economic collapse followed by a major depression, by way of a stretch, it may prevent, or minimize, the nasty realities that could occur in a nation with citizens ‘armed to the teeth’.

The next four years may prove insecure, anxiety-ridden, with great uncertainty. Hopefully the citizens-patriots of the U.S.A. will prove up to the long shlog of figuring out how to restructure the nations way of life and business to a form that is sustainable at lower levels of want and consumption.

All Americans are equal in the eyes of the law! Some Americans are more equal than others. I guess the SCOTUS has to redefine the term “separate but equal”.

Our Republic is truly dead if the law does not apply the same to everyone or offer equal protection to everyone.

    • JimInFlorida July 4, 2016 at 5:12 pm #

The fatal flaw of Equality Über Alles is that Evil is free to do what Good will not do by its nature. Equality by decree creates an uneven playing field because unequal natures are not accounted for! Some things do not deserve equal treatment because they are incompatible or even hostile to the design and harmony of the body-politic.

Where man-made Positive Laws lose their way and fail, then a reset must be done on the organic metrics of Natural Law i.e. race, blood, the gods, and the Law of Nations, which provide borders defining a space where the customs and manufactures are protected.

Among many compounding errors over the recent decades, it means reversal of miscegenation and by Force Majeur if the Gordian Knot cannot be unraveled by Due Process.

      • Elrond Hubbard July 4, 2016 at 11:06 pm #

You and Janos both like this image of slicing through the Gordian Knot to undo social and demographic change you don’t like, and to restore white supremacy through force and fear. What’s more, you’re admirably clear that the Gordian Knot doesn’t refer simply to current political circumstances but to due process and the rule of law themselves. If you all get your way in the end, we can’t say we didn’t have any warning.

        • JimInFlorida July 5, 2016 at 12:12 am #

Not White Supremacy. That is a classic Straw Man to deflect from the real issue at hand.

Janos and I promote White Self-Preservation and resistance to what has been thrust upon Whites for over 50 years! When the Rule of Law becomes toxic and counterproductive, it is no longer legitimate. Positive Law tends to degrade into tyranny. A reset to Natural Law is necessary until Positive Law can be harnessed to separate peoples and restore harmony. A farewell speech of Nigel Farage, one of the Brexit leaders, to the European Commission in which he openly says that it is the European Union that provoked a war in Ukraine, and now, accusing Russia of unwillingness to accept this coup and submit, trying to provoke a major war in Europe, and thus EU acts in the interests of the Party of War and Hillary Clinton.

Moreover, he points out it is the behavior of the European Commission, in secret attempts to turn the EU into a political union, into the super-state, as the main reason for Brexit.

On Tuesday (tomorrow) President Obama is scheduled to fly on the presidential plane to North Carolina, and now imagine: opening the door of Air Force One, and out of there, together with the president comes the Queen of the Flying Monkeys!!!

    ANDREA MITCHELL:

I was told that there was a possible plan for her to fly in on Tuesday with this first Obama meeting to North Carolina on Air Force One, the full embrace, the picture.

Now of course you can guess whether Obama will go for such performance, but it is much more interesting as how she forced him to go for it, and was it the last straw that forced Obama to give the green light for the completion of the FBI investigation.

    Positive Anti-War News

Yesterday we all suddenly became aware of the joint military actions of Russia and Turkey against al-Nusra, which Lavrov has recently suspected of preparing to overthrow Assad with the help of Americans, and that American bombers will participate in these joint Russian-Turkish military operations against al-Nusra.

Immediately that coincided with the emergence of rumors about the capture by the Syrian army of the Malach farm, which would cut the supply routes of Al-Nusra to Aleppo.

Moreover yesterday in the American press appeared plenty of articles regarding that the United States in its uncontrolled attempts to “contain” Russia and Putin is actually provoking a war, possibly nuclear.

    upi.com/Top_News/Opinion/2016/07/04/Harlan-Ullman-Is-the-US-planning-for-a-war-with-Russia/816146739…

And if to apply the reverse logic to these events, it is natural to assume that the reason for the improvement of relations between Russia and the US are major defeats suffered by election campaign of Hillary Clinton.

And what really catches the eye is the examination by the FBI agents of the former secretary of state, which happened two days after meeting between US Attorney General Loretta Lynch with Bill Clinton, which in theory should disqualify her as an official, that suppose to make the conclusions of this investigation and decide on the presentation of charges to a candidate for US president, who nominated herself on behalf of the Democratic party.

And to answer the allegations of conflict of interest in connection with this meeting, US Attorney General said that she would accept the recommendations of top FBI investigators.

The kindergarten of some sort, unless of course it is an attempt to absolve herself of responsibility for the inevitable withdrawal from the election of Hillary in the case that before the questioning of Hillary FBI briefed US Attorney General to the preliminary findings of the investigation, which is now, after questioning the main person involved can be considered as completed.

The uninsured rate remains at an all time low with 9.1% of under 65 uninsured as of 4th quarter 2015 according to CDC.Gov data.

After Hillary Clinton and her Party of War somehow managed to post on her website the video-endorsement by Obama (made when?), this led to an immediate deterioration of the international situation.

Staff at the State Department immediately began to complain about insufficient quality and quantity of the wars being waged by the United States, demanded(!!) from the president to create a no-fly zone in Syria and US fighter jets really began to fly around the Russian bombers, NATO tanks in large quantities started coming to Romania and the Baltic states, and the press was filled the description of all kinds of miracle weapons, in particular the railgun by “BAE Systems” – main sponsor of PBS – when that very good channel (in the past) in the spring of 2014 suddenly decided to take on the most rabid propaganda of rampant Clintonializm.

Finca, if this is the case, then Putin can no longer act out the easy part of the popular phrase, “Speak softly and carry a big stick.” Putin will have to swing that stick and do it first to show that Russia and Syria will determine who has access to Syrian airspace.

Remember what Turkey did when Turkish F-16’s pulled a bitch move and ambushed that Su-24 on non-alert recon? They didn’t try to cautiously approach and make the least provocative display necessary to drive the Russian bomber away from Turkish airspace. Turkey ACTED and STRUCK FIRST. Israel does the same thing. It’s time Russia did as well. The world needs a counter-balance to Washington.

Putin will have to send a message to Obama and state in plain English that Assad invited Russian air power to protect his regime and that Russia will STRIKE FIRST at any intrusion by U.S. jets to disrupt Russian operations. Be sure to cite IDF Air Force action as precedence. And make it happen. That means large scale operations and an overt display of war readiness. If the U.S. jets are seen coming in fast, then the MiG-31’s should scramble, form up, and light off their fire control radars. That alone should make U.S. fighters break off. If not, attack with support from the S-400. Just as important to establish Russian resolve is to break the feeling of invincibility that Washington has enjoyed for the past 25 years.

If Washington is determined to provoke war in Syria, then it will happen and it would be better if Russia’s opening gambit demonstrated domination and resolve. It would also be nice if Putin could arrange the expeditious extermination of a dozen billionaires to let TPTB know that Putin will come after them FIRST if they don’t call off the war.

I’ve always been disturbed at the lack of decisive action that demands Washington to respect Russia’s interests in that part of the world. Forget about the damn emails… We must stop ISIS from killing Muslims.

Islamic State has carried out a series of bombing and shooting attacks in Saudi Arabia since mid-2014 that have killed scores of people, mostly members of the Shi’ite Muslim minority and security services.

Police and groups of local volunteers increased security near mosques in Qatif after suicide bombings hit mosques in Shi’ite areas last year, killing dozens. Another suicide blast at a mosque used by security forces killed 15 a year ago.

The top Saudi clerical body condemned the attacks.

“They are renegades from the (true) religion who have left behind the Muslim flock and their imam, violating all sanctities,” the Secretariat of the Council of Senior Scholars said in a statement.

“They have no religion,” it added.

Oh God, people,….get over it. The cake is already in the oven and somebody turned the temperature up too high; if any portion of humanity is to survive it will be coincidence of that small number having the cultural advantage of a Western Enlightenment grasp of reality and all the technological and social organizational advantages that it has birthed. Humanity otherwise will necessarily die off, in process of which they will have caused one of the greatest die-offs of other species, leaving no longer habitable for hundreds of years much of the earth’s surface. That’s it, game over. Forget all the prosaic preaching about population redistribution. All the meme’s of the Left about reverse engineering history to correct “injustices” is distracting from the critical reality. Here, where yet we might have a survivable ration of population to resources, we’d better kick aside all the fuzzy feel-good fantasies of being able to absorb the desperate from already overpopulated areas, but especially not people bearing beliefs that can’t align with 21st Century science based objectivity.

    A2/AD

Secretary of Defense Carter said that the United States will play a major role in the formation of a new organization of the Armed Forces of NATO – Very High Readiness Joint Task Force, the size of which will be 40,000 bayonets. Included in the structure of military units should be deployed anywhere in the Euro-Atlantic theater of military operations within 48 hours.

However, most military analysts doubt that the Americans will be able to implement their plans into practice. Most Western experts are very concerned about frightening ability of Russia to quickly create high-performance restricted access zones.

In the West they are called zones of A2/AD (Anti-Access / Area-Denial). American generals complained publicly that “insidious” Moscow inflates over its troop groupings impermeable protective “bubble” with a diameter of hundreds of miles. And it does it, where it wants it, without asking anyone, using unique technologies to block entry into the protected area of any weapon bearers – air, land, surface and underwater.

Deutsche Bank follows the path of Lehman Brothers

The last trading day turned to Deutsche Bank shares in the new historical minimum. Experts are finding more similarities with the collapse of Lehman Brothers story.

The resemblance is truly remarkable. If we impose the dynamics of stock charts, doubt not even arise:

    b1.vestifinance.ru/c/223400.640xp.jpg

For example, when the Korean Development Bank has tried to buy the failing Lehman Brothers, the bank’s shares soared 16%. The head of Lehman, Mr. Fuld has rejected the proposal, because he wanted to sell at a higher price. This is where the shares fell down with a bang.

It is possible that rumors can appear in the media any day now that someone wants to invest into Deutsche Bank.

Until that happens, observers continue to monitor the dynamics of the shares of the largest German bank, which the IMF has acknowledged the major threat to the global financial system. By the way, the US Federal Reserve has not passed the stress tests for the US division of the Deutsche Bank, and the experts say that the US regulator checked not all operations of the bank.

Soros earned on the short sale of shares in Deutsche Bank

George Soros “Fund Management” has taken a short position in Deutsche Bank AG on 7 million shares of the bank against the outcome of the referendum on Brexit. After that, the bank’s shares began to lose in price.

Never let the good crisis go to waste!

Saudi Arabia is lighting up, feeling the heat, but no long term desert acclimation can prepare them for the fire to come.

After five years, Juno has arrived at Jupiter, another example of the positive things man can accomplish. Without question, I’ll take the spirituality of science over religion anytime. Oh, I understand the need for religion. As someone once said, you look into the abyss. But then the abyss looks back, and the search for mental and spiritual comfort begins. And so does the mumbo jumbo, the gibberish, the insanity. The killing.

Let’s see how Saudi Arabia goes. Yes, religion may just topple the pillars of science and the pillars of civilization along with it, on a scale unprecedented in the history of mankind. Astounding in its power, frightening in its irrationality.

    • Cavepainter July 5, 2016 at 10:38 am #

The “mental and spiritual comfort” is an innate mechanism in the human psyche evolved by evolution. Being an animal that digest sensory input into concepts that make-up the mosaic of whatever “abstract” we “visualize” to be reality, notions of the supernatural (mystical) had to be also conceptualized to cope with the purely empirical evidence of implacably indifferent nature. The human psyche cannot tolerate inability to “conceptualize” a manageable future (linear time being another “concept”), so manufactures super-natural forces that can be cajoled to intervene against those implacable forces. Without that coping strategy humanity wouldn’t have survived because its enormous gas hog neo cortex would burn too many calories suffering anxiety — mental stress which accelerates metabolic burn of calories. The problem in this post Western Enlightenment age is that the secular idealism of the Liberal Left has become a mysticism no less than that of “faith” based beliefs — a psychological “Band-Aid” against empirical evidence of population overshoot. Good luck with that.

Anthropologically, when threat is recognized woman reflexively collect the children and seek a defensive defensible position while males mobilize a defensive barrier — its our natural gender dispositions. What you are arguing for is an emasculated society — “end of patriarchy” is your miss chosen phrase. • Dumbedup July 6, 2016 at 7:42 am #

There is no defeat of patriarchy. The roles are changing a bit, but evolution is a constant and in a broad sense sets the outer limits of gender roles. That is inescapable. That said, we must become a more egalitarian society or we will perish. That too is inescapable.

Jesus did not advocate violence or war. He called mankind to a higher plane of existence with God the Father and beyond pettiness and demagoguery; which seems to be in excess supply here. When Peter cut off the ear of the Centurion in the Garden of Gethsemane Jesus healed him. James Comey folds. US becomes the land of the flying monkeys.

FBI Director James Comey announced Tuesday that he was referring the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server to prosecutors at the Department of Justice for a “prosecutive decision.”

He said he would recommend to the DOJ that “no charges are appropriate in this case.”

      worthless €#!??¿?^

  47. volodya July 5, 2016 at 12:33 pm #

So Bloomberg reports that Comey over yonder isn’t recommending charges over the emails. No surprise there.

Most of the time the way something looks is the way it is. Did the FBI investigation look meaningless? Did Comey’s recommendation look political?

What did you think when you heard that Bill and Loretta had a meeting? How did it look to you? Did the word “fix” cross your mind? Be honest.

Maybe the prospect of a President Trump was too much for the bulls at the FBI, even for a Republican like Comey, maybe ESPECIALLY for a Republican. I mean, after all, Hillary proved herself to be a faithful servant of the Oligarchs, taking millions from Wall Street, bought and paid-for many times over.

How many millions should it take? I don’t know about Hillary, maybe she has ambitions towards being a lady of wealth and taste. But for a small-town hustler like Bill, given his background, the step-son of a violent alcoholic, and given his peccadilloes, and never mind his intellectual exertions, probably not that many. A couple million would keep him up to his neck in junk-food and babes for the rest of his life. I mean, you can take the boy out of Arkansas but you can’t take the Arkansas out of the boy. I think the Oligarchs waaaaay over-paid.

And besides, everyone knows that a hundred yards from Capitol Hill party distinctions are meaningless. They’re all in Oligarch pockets.

“The law mattered. It applied equally to everyone. We demanded that it did, all of us – politicians, the media, and regular citizens. Oh, there were mistakes and miscarriages of justice but they weren’t common and they weren’t celebrated – they were universally reviled. And, more importantly, they weren’t part and parcel of the ideology of one particular party. There was once a time where you could imagine a Democrat scandal where the media actually called for the head of the Democrat instead of deploying to cover it up.

People assumed that the law mattered, that the same rules applied to everyone. That duly enacted laws would be enforced equally until repealed. That the Constitution set the foundation and that its guarantees would be honored even if we disliked the result in a particular case. But that’s not our country today.

The idea of the rule of law today is a lie. There is no law. There is no justice. There are only lies.

Hillary Clinton is manifestly guilty of multiple felonies. Her fans deny it half-heartedly, but mostly out of habit – in the end, it’s fine with them if she’s a felon. They don’t care. It’s just some law. What’s the big deal? It doesn’t matter that anyone else would be in jail right now for doing a fraction of what she did. But the law is not important. Justice is not important.”

Trump rages that the system is rigged. But of course it’s rigged.

Zerohedge comically declares that Comey’s decision will send “shock waves” through the nation’s capitol. Shockwaves? Why? Who could possibly be shocked? No chance in hell Hillary is facing charges. Not with Trump as her opponent.

See, Trump could be dangerous to the status quo. Imagine if he’s good for his word, upsetting all these cosy trade arrangements that were so profitable for the Oligarchs and their attendant clerisy. There’s just too much money at stake.

Nope, no chance Hillary is facing charges. They will do what they have to do to make sure that Trump and his entourage never stink up the White House. And if by some accident Trump does make it, they’ll make sure his tenancy there will be short.

    • wpa_ccc July 5, 2016 at 1:14 pm #

In two weeks the Republicans will throw Trump out of the party and nominate someone else. And they have the right to do so legally. The RNC is a private organization, not public. The RNC sets its own rules.

My synopsis of the FBI Comey’s speech this AM: “Hillary isn’t a criminal, only a completely inept executive.” I like how he goes on further to explain that even though nothing criminal happened, administrators who engage in this type of behavior face “sanctions & discipline”.

OK, next question: How is Obama going to sanction the presumptive democrat nominee?

The FBI has more resources for fact finding than CFN. Comey said that the FBI could not find a case in the past that would support bringing criminal charges based upon the facts. The bureau did not find clearly intentional and willful mishandling of classified information or vast quantities of material, or indications of disloyalty to the U.S. or efforts to obstruct justice. Case closed. Be happy for Hillary.

    • Florida Power July 5, 2016 at 2:38 pm #

Intent has nothing to do with the governing statute. If one’s negligence could cause harm to the interests of the USA that is sufficient. Judge Napolitano wrote in January: “The Obama Department of Justice prosecuted a young sailor for espionage for sending a selfie to his girlfriend, because in the background of the photo was a view of a sonar screen on a submarine.”

Murder signifies intent. Manslaughter does not, but each is a felony.

Janos, the feminine is in ascendance in all areas, including the military.

You should work on getting in touch with your feminine qualities. We all, including deities, have both masculine and feminine qualities, so you can pick any deity to help you: Pele (Hawaiian), Brigit (Celtic), Amaterasu (Japanese), Thoth (Egyptian), Mani (Norse), Chandra (Hindu), etc.

The solar feminine expresses creativity, passion, and strength; the lunar masculine provides support, devotion, and protection.

For the past 5,000 years, assertion, rationality, and independence have been considered masculine traits, while compassion, intuition, and interdependence have been relegated to the feminine. Our spiritual development, indeed our survival on this planet, requires an egalitarian and collaborative relationship between masculine and feminine, on both individual and collective levels.

This is being realized in the US military with its LGBT initiatives. It will happen soon in ISIS as well. Put away thy sword, Janos.

Nothing new, just another cycle of ignorance and chutzpah devouring itself.

“While modern societies typically see history as a linear movement–either ever improving or declining from a past high–ancient and traditional cultures believed time was cyclical, just like the waxing and waning of the moon, the rising and setting of the sun, the birth and death of living creatures, the planting and harvesting of crops, and the seasons of the year. The idea of sacred time as an eternal round and the symbol of the ring or wheel is common to many faiths, including Buddhism and Hinduism. The Old Testament is in many ways the story of a “pride cycle” with repeating periods of renewal, regression, and repentance. And many ancients couldn’t help but notice that times of war and peace seemed to move in a regular cycle as well.”

The first 5 minutes of his speech FBI Director James Comey devoted entirely to ludicrous explanation of the fundamentals of Data Recovery, but the second 5 minutes are implicitly devoted to assigning Hillary Clinton an honorary title “Madam above the Law”.

It remains to be seen see how this cookery will be digested by the rest of Americans, but from now on at any negotiations, when representatives of the United States start talking about democracy and the rule of law, it will be possible and even necessary to get up and leave, the more that even without this recent development any talk of Americans of democracy and the rule of law was tantamount to a declaration of war.

This is certainly an outstanding achievement in the field of diplomacy, and today Russia have greeted it with appropriate fireworks of cruise missiles successfully hitting targets in Syria at a distance of more than a thousand miles.

But I think that the outstanding achievements of American democracy in the field of jurisprudence, especially in the field of international law, are still ahead of us and it’s frightening to think what kind of fireworks will welcome these coming developments and at what distance.

The funny thing is that yesterday, apparently knowing in advance about the findings, to which the FBI would come as a result of many months of investigation, WikiLeaks released more than a thousand of Hillary Clinton e-mails related to the war, that the FBI did not find her private server.

Please consult my remarks above. Following that possibly you’ll grasp that women are inherently more risk averse than are men; in fact, examining the anthropological record you’ll see that women consistently demand from men safety and security (that is, “certainty” — as in minimized anxiety). That’s why under the current illusion of “security nets” ala government women believe male protection no longer has useful shelf life. Subsequently, women feel no need to tolerate the innate tension between gender agenda differences. So stop your verbal masturbation (bitching) about how awful are men and patriarchy in general.

Wrong again as usual. A democracy leaves no political protection for political minorities. A republic uses representation to mitigate the volatility of direct democracy. Even better would be a parliamentary republic, which not only uses elected representation but, has provisions to protect the 49% from the tyranny of the 51%. The minority power is guaranteed proportional representation as opposed to the Winner Take All system we are under.

“Is it all that strange that when Washington fixtures write outraged op-eds about the “fascistic” Donald Trump or the “self-harming” Brexit voters, no one seems to listen any more? Does a Hank Paulson — former assistant to John Erhlichman, former CEO of Goldman Sachs (which has given over $800,000 to Hillary’s campaigns as well as $675,000 in speaking fees), former Treasury secretary, and of some $700 million in net worth — ever sense that his assurances that Hillary is presidential and not corrupt are not believable? Or that the effect of his politicking is analogous to angrily waving a Mexican flag at a Trump rally? In a sense, these revolving-door apparatchiks and incestuous couples are bullies, who use their megaphones to disparage others who are supposedly blinkered and ignorant to the point of not believing that a videomaker caused the attacks in Libya, not trusting the Iranians, being skeptical about the theory of sanctuary cities, missing the genius of the European Union, not seeing the brilliant logic in allowing in 12 million immigrants from southern Mexico and Central America under unlawful auspices, panicking about $20 trillion in debt, and incapable of appreciating the wonders of outsourcing. In matters of deception, ostentatious vulgarity never proves as injurious as the hubris of the mannered establishment. So what I resent most about the Washington hollow men is not the sources and methods through which they parlay wealth, power, and influence, or the values they embrace to exercise and perpetuate their privilege and sense of exalted self, but the feigned outrage that they express when anyone dares suggest, by word or vote, that they are mediocrities and ethical adolescents — and really quite emotional, after all.”

It was terribly disappointing to finally learn that Hillary will walk on accusations of impropriety. It really irks me when justice doesn’t prevail. The one thing that gets to me is unfairness. I know life isn’t necessarily supposed to be fair, but life is hard enough without people acting badly. To be an avaricious crook taking advantage of others only makes existence nastier than it already is. And when someone gets away with bad behavior, well…

  69. Pucker July 5, 2016 at 9:38 pm #

Comey found Hillary “extremely careless”, but not “grossly negligent”. Gross Negligence is extreme carelessness. Also, Hillary had the server installed in her bathroom at her house, which is clearly “Intent”. (Did she not intend to have the personal server at her home?). Comely basically said that Hillary is indictable, but he did not recommend bringing charges. Double-Speak… Insane…. And the announcement comes immediately after Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch met in private “to talk about their grandkids.” It’s going to end very badly.

“But Comey administered an extraordinary tongue-lashing to Clinton and her aides, rebuking them for being “extremely careless” in the handling of classified information and saying the presumptive Democratic nominee should have known an unclassified email system was no place to conduct sensitive government business.
The FBI director pointed out that the probe was tasked with examining whether Clinton or her aides had mishandled classified information either intentionally or in a grossly negligent way.”

    • ozone July 6, 2016 at 8:57 am #

      Puckered,
You’ve missed the larger picture (as, admittedly, have most).

The purpose of a “private server” is to protect its contents from the FOIA. So now, any evil-doings by evil-doers (a goodly portion of career criminal politicos and their minions) will be hidden from the nosy public by having their ugly dealings subject only to “tongue-lashings” instead of the appropriate jail time. Precedent has been set. Do you see the gradual shaving away of restraints on ruling psychopaths and a tightening of the manacles on the lumpenproles? (This is also why dividing the proles into warring camps is of utmost importance. Why do you think certain posters, long outed as operatives, are so prolific and never-ending? Think, Big Picture!)

If you’ve noticed that I don’t post as often as I used to, it’s because I’ve regretfully come to the conclusion that the comment section here has really deteriorated, and too many posts anger me. I once had an email conversation with JHK in which we discussed evil postings. I requested he consider banning some people, but he believes in free speech.

I believe in free speech, too, but what I’m tired of are the innumerable and unceasing racial and religious comments by some individuals here – we all know who they are – who twist everything anyone posts, no matter the subject, into something anti-Black or anti-Jew without stop, like a fucking broken record. If I say I stubbed my toe, they respond with a comment about Blacks, always trying to somehow link an innocuous comment made by someone else into a racial or religious matter. This so transparent, it’s pathetic.

It’s easy to say just scroll past these people, but in practice it can be hard to ignore (which is why they do what they do).

I’ve noticed how the bigots insinuate themselves into, and take over a conversation such that the original thread is lost. For anyone with a brain, this is very frustrating.

So, in my opinion, I think JHK is making a big mistake by letting this happen without restrictions. It’s not a matter of free speech, it’s a matter of him letting his blog turn into something he doesn’t really want it to be. It’s a shame.

As they say in the old country: fuck you. You didn’t have the brains to figure out what I was saying. My intent was to show that my complaint had to with the fact that “you guys” always, unceasingly turn most everything into a discussion about race or Jews and Muslims. It had nothing to do with free speech, but I think the difference is totally beyond your ability to comprehend.

        • messianicdruid July 6, 2016 at 11:21 am #

Comprehension always seems to be reserved for those that agree with you. Labeling someone with the buzzword “religion” relegates their belief to the realm of fantasy. I agree that not all things are impinged by race, but all things are effected by what we believe (by-live) and are therefore worthy of consideration, even if it is uncomfortable to you. Speak freely and know that your ideas will be weighed.

Where did you get the idea that having a Republic would be easy? That their are no fist fights in Congress like there used to be is a very, very bad sign. It’s become professional wrestling. The internet is where real conversation happens now – and you want to ban it!

You’re assuming some kind of unity as a premise that was never actually existent. The Elite aren’t creating racism to divide us – they’re using the natural racism that was already present and using it to inflame the situation. A key distinction that is lost on you. They’re also using electricity against us – did they create that too?

If the various people dwelt apart as is organic and natural – two things you say you’re for – then the Elite would have a much harder time “using racism” against the Nation, right?

No one is stopping from talking about your peas and carrots or your prepping – things I admit you know a lot about. Maybe you’re just not as interested in these things as you wish you were. Maybe they’re just not as interesting as the things we do talk about?

“unceasing racial and religious comments ”

      Bill,
Unfortunately, those two topics are the salient issues of our time…both potentially existential, and currently capable of degrading the quality of life of us all…on the short term.

      • beantownbill. July 6, 2016 at 4:12 pm #

If I wake up tomorrow, I could find the electrical grid went down overnight, or that Russian troops are massing on the Polish border. These are potentially existential issues. IMO, fighting over race and/or religion, while nasty, is not existential. And if I’m wrong, then I’m not sure the human race ought to survive.

The Anglo-American legal system is basically a rigorous, logical way of thinking summarized as follows: Legal Issue; Legal Rule; Application of the Facts to the Rule; Logical Conclusion.

Here, Issue: Did Hillary intend to mishandle classified information, or was Hillary grossly negligent in handling classified information?

Rule: Intent = deliberate or willful. Intent can be imputed from an act of the defendant.

    Grossly Negligent = extreme carelessness.

Apply Facts to Rule: Hillary knowingly, deliberately kept a personal server in her bathroom at her home.

Comely finds Hillary handled classified information with “extreme carelessness.”

    Conclusion: Hillary violated the statute.

No reasonable person could reach a different conclusion.

The World is changing, Bill. As Whites awaken, your people will naturally lose their dominance over us. As a lover of humanity, you should feel happy for us. But if that’s not what you’re feeling, then maybe you aren’t the lover that you think you are. Maybe your love is far more provincial, conventional, and ethnically focused.

Or maybe you do love the Human Race except for Whites. That’s what has been taught in Academia for all the decades of your dominance: all Human cultures are great and equal except for the Western which is unspeakably evil. Now obviously that is going to lead to social breakdown in the West – and hardship for your people as well. America sends a distress signal during 4th of July celebration

During this year fireworks and celebration, US perform “God Save the Tsar!” – The national anthem of the Russian Empire in Russian.

    Starting a 0.58:
    youtube.com/watch?v=4nIL3Rei1rQ

    God, save the Tsar!
    Strong, sovereign,
Reign for glory, For our glory!
    Reign to foes’ fear,
    Orthodox Tsar.
    God, save the Tsar!

If America on its Independence Day makes such performance, not everything’s lost, and the American people will cope with temporary difficulties.

Who will become modern days Lincoln and ask Russian Tsar, once again as in 1863, to send Navy to New York and San Francisco harbors?

    • San Jose July 6, 2016 at 11:19 am #

Tsar Alexander II, who sent troops to NY and SF for 7 months to support Lincoln’s effort to eradicate slavery, had empathy for the serfs in Russia. He tried to reform the injustice in his country, but the Russian aristocrats didn’t want their cheap labor to disappear.

Being the target of assassination attempts, Alexander sent a heartfelt letter to Mary Todd Lincoln when her husband died.

      Jen in San Jose

(I recently read Simon Montefiore’s excellent book on the Romanovs.)

      • Janos Skorenzy July 6, 2016 at 3:11 pm #

And how did the Left respond to the Liberator Tsar? They blew him to pieces. How did they treat the last King of France? They kept him naked in cold, dark room, making him sing dirty songs about his parents. He died after about a year of this torment. One of the faithful saved his heart as a relic.

These people are not to be parlayed with, but only stopped before they corrupt the people. As Carlos Castaneda said, just because someone looks human doesn’t mean they are. Two arms, two legs, so what? They aren’t human. If you had psychic vision, you wouldn’t see a normal human aura.

Thousands of American soldiers died to stop Sadaam Hussein. Donald Trump sides with Sadaam, praising his sadistic authoritarianism.

“Donald Trump, the presumptive nominee for the Republican presidential nomination, once again lauded deposed Iraq dictator Saddam Hussein during a campaign stop.

Speaking at a rally in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Tuesday evening, Trump praised what he said was Hussein’s innate ability to kill terrorists “so good.” While it’s not the first time he’s mentioned the former leader, this time Trump elaborated that he appreciated Hussein’s authoritarian take on civil liberties.

“You know what he did well? He killed terrorists. He did that so good,” Trump said. “They didn’t read them the rights, they didn’t talk. They were a terrorist, it was over.”

Trump went on to call Iraq the “Harvard for terrorism,” to scattered laughter.”

Donald Trump has the support of millions of Republicans.

    • JimInFlorida July 6, 2016 at 8:42 am #

Wrong as always, wpa. Thousands of American soldiers were SACRIFICED as expendable cannon fodder to push the Cheney-Rumsfeld-Wolfowitz PNAC agenda forward. Our soldiers are mostly mercenaries (thanks to the Economic Draft) and those who aren’t are suffering varying degrees of self-deception and delusion.

Saddam Hussein had the very difficult task of keeping an artificial nation-state intact. Iraq, like most post-WW1 colonial creations, was an artificial geographic entity that captured incompatible tribes within its borders. Saddam kept order by NECESSARILY using force. Iraq required a classic strongman to quell agitators and keep the tenuous social contract intact.

Democracy is a rare treasure that cannot sustain itself without an inherent and organic demographic harmony i.e. homogeneity, a shared history, a common purpose, AND common religious belief. ALL OF THAT must exist for democracy to succeed.

Diversity yields up all the hell holes of the world because diversity is chaos. Diversity in the U.S exists only because there is still a legacy center i.e. White European and British heritage. But, that center is badly damaged and has been robbed of its gravity to keep the whole in common accord.

Thus, The Donald (despite his grade school vocabulary) is right in that Saddam and Muammar Gaddafi were right to be who they were and that Iraq and Libya could not exist without them. The evidence is out there for all to see.

      • Janos Skorenzy July 6, 2016 at 1:45 pm #

A good explanation of why Hillary should be in jail today written by former US military intelligence officer James Wesley Rawles:

    survivalblog.com/

    • Janos Skorenzy July 6, 2016 at 2:25 pm #

Everyone does their part. Prosecutor and personal friend Andrew McCarthy was on Rush today. His tone was even, the outrage of yesterday already gone. “Jim” Comey is still a good man. In other words, his class peers are not going to shun him as he deserves. If they did, what would happen when they got in trouble? Maybe the same thing! Same thing happened when “Jim” Clapper was caught lying.

We’re no better than Blacks now. We now give each other instant forgiveness like Jesse Jackson got from his church when he was caught in adultery. Nuthin changes. The scam must go on at all costs.

  81. messianicdruid July 6, 2016 at 12:39 pm #

An aspect I had not considered: possible or no?

“Failure to recommend Hillary’s prosecution was a SMART move by FBI Director Comey. It leaves the door open for a TRUMP administration to prosecute.

Any such recommendation now would result in a plea deal for a misdemeanor and a Presidential Pardon for her crimes; prohibiting “double jeopardy”. This is the best possible outcome. FOR NOW.

She can run but she cannot hide unless she wins.”

    • Janos Skorenzy July 6, 2016 at 2:14 pm #

Didn’t someone say our speech should be simple? Our yes’s yes’s, and our no’s no’s? This kind of Machiavellian scheming (even with the best of motivations) is not the job of a public servant. It’s simply not how we got to be where we are.

I assume he failed in his duty through weakness of character, either ambition or fear for his life. Getting her indicted might not lead to a conviction, but it would effectively keep her out of office. Which is more important? Trump could still go after her for other things later on.

Bean Town Bill. Appreciated greatly your comment up yonder about JHK banning some people from the site. He probably should exercise his prerogative to ban several, in all likelihood, long ago. Ah well. You know.. making your way in the world today takes everything you got, taking a break from it all sure would help a lot. Sometimes you gotta go where everybody knows your name (?) and they’re semi-to minimally glad you came.

Back on the politics subject, we should just refer to it as the battle of the billionaires. Has always been, I guess. Has it come to this, choosing between an egomaniac and a war mongering witch (interchangeable) to govern this country. I read somewhere when a country’s government goes bad, it’s the responsibility of the people to change it, or something like that. We are supposedly the most intelligent species (what?) on the planet, and yet more than half of the people who are in the senate are multi-millionaires. Is this the best we can do.

WPA-CCC thanks too for your defense of me above. Blessings. Many times Janos seems to be on the offense.

Since the nation has selected a reality T.V. host as it’s Republican nominee..Let’s talk Truth or Consequences, that game show. Remember, ‘Cept now it may be Truth and Consequences.

#2 The other half is under water, my heart goes to W. VA.
#3 Leonardo DiCaprio cares about climate change as long as
it doesn’t interfere with his flights back and forth from NY-LA

Now for something completely different, in a thrift book store the other day, shelves and shelves of books, walked right up to one written by author Sylvia Browne, who I believe was a gifted spiritualist. The title had to do with the days we are living in. What a beautiful work! It’s not for the narrow minded. In it she writes that the veil is getting thinner between this world and the other side. In the coming decades many people, by various means, will gain knowledge of their past lives. It could account for the increase in psychic experiences, if the veil is getting thinner. Many women, educated ones even, believe that it is. Laugh, consider, deny, call her a nutcase, call whoever one, but the song remains the same. And then there’s the individual who had a near death experience and to this day maintains they felt more alive when they were “on the other side” There you go again.. ah yes, always has to be the spiritual side of things.

Elephants are one of the highest species of life on this planet. One woman who runs an elephant orphanage is careful not to let them get too attached to any one attendant. She had baby elephants die of grief when she was away for a long weekend.

In my past lives, I’ve been both a witch and a witch hunter (like Vincent Price). There is great joy in both. What joy to call the quarters and the powers! But there is also joy in breaking down doors, a sword in one hand and a Bible in the other. Evil must be punished, barb.

All major Spiritual Traditions are in agreement that the world is going into a dark age. The so called New Age Movement is commercial for the most part, and when sincere – misguided and allied to the fallen powers of the world, both natural and supernatural.

For the record: I don’t think you’re a nut for being interested in these things. I’m undecided about spiritualism. It may be real, but it can’t go beyond the lower astral planes. There is obviously much illusion and trickery, both by unscrupulous people and by the spirits. Ouija boards are very dangerous because you are inviting spirits into your body to move the planchette. Somehow the Mediums themselves seem to be protected, perhaps by Guardians of the Movement on the other side. Kids fooling around don’t have this protection though. Of course many Mediums are careful Not to invite spirits into their bodies….

Janos, somewhere way up in the comments was a quote from the Kolbrin.

I will vouch for the superior spiritual, intellectual, and historical content of that book. The only legitimate publisher is the Culdian Trust and I have a copy of the book. Despite that some of the original content was lost over the centuries, what remains is a magnificent repository of true knowledge. There is a stunning account of a massive comet (dragon) that came through the heavens and how that comet destroyed Mars, took its oceans, and created havoc on the Earth. That comet, after many near misses with Earth, eventually became the planet Venus.

Even though the authors of those books never saw each other or even lived on the same part of the world, the harmony between the books reveals the same transcendental Mind that brought such books into the world.

You wouldn’t DARE open, let alone study, the Kolbrin and risk having your presumptions to be utterly discredited.

One should NEVER mindlessly accept the Establishment Narrative or stay within the approved envelope of knowledge. It’s always a good idea to hear the dissenting opinion in Supreme Court cases, the side of history from those who lost in WW1 and WW2, and religious knowledge outside of Jewish influence.

But, you won’t do that. You’ll take the opinion of others who’ve never read the ancient texts. You’ll on the well-traveled highway and in good company with the rest of the mob on their way to Perdition.

“That cmoment after many near misses with Earth, eventually became the planet Venus.”

Venus’ new position snuggled us out via gravity to a larger orbit of 365.4 days per year. Mars meanwhile was slung into an elliptical orbit in which it passed Earth every 54 years. This contributed the the 108 year catastrophes (near passages) described in several ancient texts.

The last passage was an inner passage inside the Roche Limit causing the oceans of Mars (smaller) into conflict with our larger magnetic field. These two magnets interact as magnets and repel or attract one another and the most viscous materials give up first. Gases and liquids rain down into the larger biome and create havoc upon inhabitants unprepared or in disbelief of catastrophic events; lack of systemic awareness.

The lowest altitudes give up their advantages of high heavy Gases as well as terrain to water. Those that retreat quickly or can navigate air or water can manage, many didn’t. The miracle is the timing.

On July 4 Tchaikovsky overture to the opera “1812” is typically performed, in which the full version includes a performance by the choir “God Save the Tsar”, but this choral piece was never performed until July 2015. And that year it was performed, and in Russian, which can be seen at around 1:28 this video:

    youtube.com/watch?v=YjRlFSfppPg

After the meeting in Ireland that halted the catastrophic development of the Syrian crisis, Obama and Putin were not able to maintain normal contacts, as such contacts could end sadly for Obama from the disastrous political scandal to the meeting in an elevator with an armed man who escaped from a psychiatric hospital (see history of removal of his chief of security, female)

    washingtonpost.com/politics/armed-former-convict-was-on-elevator-with-obama-in-atlanta/2014/09/30/76…

So contacts were secret in nature and emissaries confirmed their authority by passing into their capitals requirement of partners in the negotiations to confirm their credentials, because at stake was the settlement of the crisis that could’ve lead to a nuclear war against the will of both presidents and the likelihood of manipulation and provocation was great.

On the eve of April 17, 2014 Putin’s emissaries met with President Obama and he gave them a request to President Putin during a nationwide televised interview to answer the question about readiness of Obama to rescue the Russian president if he was drowning, so President Obama could confirm that negotiators that have come in contact with him, really represent Putin.

A similar request President Putin gave to Washington’s emissaries of President Obama, who arrived in Moscow to settle the Ukrainian crisis, in order to confirm their credentials. And the fact that President Putin has asked to perform “God Save the Tsar!” In Russian on the US Independence Day, says that in these negotiations he was not giving up Novorossia.

Generally these negotiations in a sense canceled what Gorbachev signed in Malta – Putin said that since the collapse of USSR, the war is not over, and Clinton insisted that the Cold War was a real war, the peace treaty has yet to be conclude.

But the negotiations are far from being about the Ukraine, with the exception of the need to prevent any provocation there which can disrupt the negotiations on the settlement of the crisis, compared with which the Caribbean missile crisis is a children’s fight in a sandbox over some trinkets.

I love the 1812 Overture. It became popular in the U.S. when Arthur Fielder had the Boston Pops perform it for the 4th of July–who can resist the cannons and bells! I’m guessing most Americans think that it has something to do with the War of 1812 (an English/American skirmish).

In reality, it was composed to commemorate the Russians stopping Napoleon’s army in Moscow. Eventually the Russians chased Napoleon back to France and the Tsar set up camp in Paris for a while and helped set up the new world order when Napoleon was defeated at Waterloo.

It was performed in its entirety at the coronation of Tsar Alexander III, and so naturally, there is a “God save the Tsar” piece.

General Shamanov, the reincarnation of Alexey Yermolov, the Russian Imperial general of the 19th century Caucasian War

Just the sound of his name puts the Fear of God into the hearts of Islamist terrorists

Shamanov has an image of an “over-the-top” ruthless man among the other Russian military leaders, with certain insurgency-related sources calling him the “Butcher of Chechnya.” Already during the First Chechen War, the Chechen Insurgency claimed Shamanov to be the reincarnation of Alexey Yermolov, alluding to the Russian Imperial general of the 19th century Caucasian War, who was famous in his time, for his merciless policy towards the local rebel fighters and their supporters among civilians.

In October of 1940, when she was still in curls and called Lilibet within the family, Princess Elizabeth made her first national radio broadcast.

It was designed to calm the fears of Britain’s children, as London was being pounded by German bombers for fifty-seven consecutive nights.

She was fourteen. “We know, every one of us, that in the end all will be well,” she said, on the BBC’s “Children’s Hour.” Seventy-five years later, amid the increasingly chaotic aftermath of the Brexit vote, Queen Elizabeth II is trying to do it again.

“Retaining the ability to stay calm and collected can at times be hard,” she conceded, at the opening of Scotland’s Parliament, on Saturday.

“One hallmark of leadership in such a fast-moving world is allowing sufficient room for quiet thinking and contemplation, which can enable deeper, cooler consideration of how challenges and opportunities can best be addressed.”

For Elizabeth, the Brexit vote marks an almost Shakespearean turn.

All this spirit shit is such a crock. The universe, what we’ve learned of it is so awesome in the literal sense of the word, that it can’t help but inspire spirituality in any reasoned being. But then invoking magical entities? I call buullshit. Quoting so-called ancient texts of wisdom, written by superstitious people who had no idea of the cosmos at large, is an obvious sign someone is terrified of existence. Belief in bad vs. good spirits seems pretty juvenile to me. Why not believe in snake charmers and patent medicine? They’re all of a piece. And it’s already too late tonight to even get into the con game known as organized religion. Grow up and face reality: we are all gonna die and cease to exist eventually. One of the wisest things I have ever read on CFN. And scientifically valid.

But why wait for death? Enjoy our nothingness right now.

Just dial down to the level of our cells, our molecules, our atoms, and notice we are objectively, scientifically, 99.9999999999% empty space.

Dial out to the size of the universe and again we are nothing. There is no intrinsic meaning to our existence. And no need for any religion at all.

I embrace these truths… I live in awe and wonder at my completely meaningless life without the need to invent any god.

I love life in all its forms, including mine, and refuse to take life even to save my own meaningless life (i.e., no “self defense” … What for, since we are going to die anyway in the blink of an eye. Janos condemns pacifism. I celebrate pacifism.

Well, apparently, Bill’s “secret” meeting with Loretta Lynch on the tarmac of the Phoenix airport was a resounding success! (No golfing was involved, as Bill asserts. It was 115 degrees, and Bill has a heart condition–are you kidding me??). Do these people really think that we are that stupid? The only question remains: did it take a bribe, or a threat for Lynch and Comey to cave?

This is a complete aside, but has anyone ever noticed that HIllary and Bill rarely, if ever, campaign together? Do they ever appear to be a couple, or show any affection towards each other in public at all? Compare this to Bernie and Jane Sanders, who are always at each other’s side. So that begs the question, what is the arrangement of convenience that the Clinton’s have made with each other? It’s certainly not the conventional definition of husband and wife. This whole charade they put forth is nothing short of bizarre.

American warplanes were diverted from an offensive launched against the Islamic State last week by U.S.-backed rebels in Syria in order to bomb a more enticing target in Iraq, withdrawing air support at a critical moment and contributing to the failure of the rebel operation, according to U.S. officials familiar with the incident.

To Scientific and Propaganda Cadres, INSOC

Comrades! Our Global Warming Scam, and subsequent mission to scare the shit out of the Proles, and commence de industrializing western countries, cutting them down to size, and transferring their remaining wealth to our 3rd world revolutionary brothers, has been unmasked! It is no use politically to keep it going any longer, and in this I site the law of diminishing returns. Consequently, at the behest of our most experienced Meteorologists, Physicists, and Climate Scientists, who have researched this matter thoroughly, it has been decided all along a warming planet was not the threat, but Global Cooling, and a new Ice Age, is. All mention of Global Warming is to be stricken from the record, and all global warming scientists and activists are to be executed forthwith, and any evidence of their existence here on earth erased.

Comrades, let us mobilize our resources to battle the scourge of Global Cooling and this impending world wide Ice Age! Help us bring about this New Utopia, this heaven on earth. The future of humanity depends on you!

Hit ‘control -F’ in search? or where?

        • Q. Shtik July 7, 2016 at 2:15 pm #

First, you are on the CFN site and you have clicked where it tells you how many comments have been made thus far.

If you use Chrome as your browser, simultaneously press the Ctrl key and F key on your standard Qwerty keyboard. A slim empty box will open in the upper right of your monitor (at least that’s where it is on mine).

Type your name Malthuss in the box. (Note: I frequently enter the last date and time to get back to where I left off reading the comments.) On the right side of the box the system will come back with something like 1 of 12. To the right of that are up and down arrows so you can access in regular or reverse order all the comments you have made. If someone mentioned your name in their comment that will appear as one of the 12.

If you are not using Chrome but rather Internet Explorer (as I used to until a year or two ago) go to the upper left of your screen and click on the Edit button. In the drop down box select the word Find. A box will appear….. type in Malthuss, etc etc…. same as described above.

If you are not using Chrome or Internet Explorer I can’t help you but there are enough technical wizards here that someone is bound to have the answer. I would start by asking WPA or Cold N. Holefield.

We have been unable to locate former citizens and noted actor Leonardo DeCaprio, former US VP Al Gore, and former Billionaire Tom Steyer, now considered climate apostates & fugitives. Approach them carefully as they may be armed and dangerous. A substantial award is offered for their capture and arrest. Remember, if you see something, say something.

Comrade, the Thought Police have DeCaprio, Steyer, and former VP Gore under surveillance. As was done with those infamous traitors, Winston Smith, Julia, Jones, Aaron, and Rutherford, the Thought Police are gathering evidence to, not only confirm their guilt but, cure them into confessing that guilt voluntarily. All sch CC-deniers are cured. There is no record of any who failed to repent and be converted for the love of BB.

Continue your efforts at MiniTrue to warn the proles and Party members of CC-deniers and other thoughtcriminals. The very science books of our Omniscient Party PROVE that CC denial CAUSES Climate Change. Thoughtcriminals and CC-deniers will be rounded up.

Emails? The Republicans are about to nominate an unstable fascist to lead the free world and people are worried about emails from years ago? Shouldn’t we be more concerned wit rising anti-semitism. Trump can lie about his Star of David on piles of cash… he is unapologetically anti-Semitic and racist. You won’t be academically asking how racism is defined when your racial group is being targeted.

“Trump must also know that white supremacists and anti-Semites have taken great delight in his tweet, as they have in other elements of his campaign. But instead of diffusing the matter, Trump has chosen to effectively say he doesn’t give a f**k about either the carefully penned letter his son-in-law wrote, or about the signals he is giving to racists and bigots.

And that, even more than the initial tweet, says something profoundly disturbing about the candidate.”

Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims ? 1.6 billion members of an entire religion ? from entering the U.S.

So it was, finally, a zero-sum game after all…

      • Walter B July 7, 2016 at 9:33 am #

The Big Short should be required viewing for any and all Americans who have any contact at all with the “financial” system. Of course I suppose that there are plenty of simpletons out there that could care less that they (we) are being cheated, extorted, and robbed out of the fruits of our labors and there is a certain solace that is had once a man accepts his slavery, but it will never be acceptable with me. Every system devised by mankind eventually degrades into a cesspool where the scum rises to the top and the crap falls to the bottom and while there is no actual “escape from the pool itself, I have found that somewhere in the middle the water is the least foul. It is just hard to stay at the correct depth for a long time.

Watch the movie everybody, and see it more than once, it tells all.

wpa_ccc: “Emails? The Republicans are about to nominate an unstable fascist to lead the free world and people are worried about emails from years ago?”

Hillary Clinton’s use of a private e-mail server to conduct business as Secretary of State was and is a serious abuse of power. There is no legitimate basis for a public official to privatize their official communications. Being charitable, she may have intended just to bypass bureaucracy that may have been genuinely onerous, but which had the very serious purpose of safeguarding both the communications themselves and the public record of them. Being less charitable, she may have been using her office to conduct business for her own private benefit. With this record, now she is the presumptive nominee of the Democratic Party and is leading the unstable fascist in the polls.

So yes, people are worried about e-mails from years ago.

beantownbill said: Nothingness has its advantages.

How can you be so sure? What is Nothingness? Did you ever see the movie Pan’s Labyrinth? If nothing else, it makes you question and consider the notion of Reality.

The force that was Hitler and the Nazis lives on in the atoms and its constituent parts it interacted with. That residue, or subatomic effect if you will, doesn’t erase easily just as a hard drive doesn’t necessarily erase with the first pass.

    • beantownbill. July 7, 2016 at 11:35 am #

Not too many years ago, a French “scientist” in defense of homeopathy claimed that after a substance is introduced into water and then filtered out so there is zero concentration of that substance in said water sample, the water “remembers” that the substance was once in it, and if the substance had health benefits, the water would convey those benefits to people even though it contained zero amounts of the substance. This is, of course is the basic principle of homeopathy – that imbibing something healthy that has been diluted down to a minuscule concentration could still provide those healthy benefits.

Science has thoroughly debunked homeopathy, even though homeopathic solutions still sell in health food stores. If the universe can contain shreds of my one’s memories and persona, then it would have some sort of measurable effect. Not once has this ever been measured, so your statement is wishful thinking. BTW, have any atoms
been observed that carry Nazi forces? That would have caused quite a stir.

        • Cold N. Holefield July 7, 2016 at 1:18 pm #

It’s been proven, Sugar Pills work in some cases. All the patient has to do is believe it’s something else and that it will work. And like magic, it does.

Bill, there is no wishful thinking on my part. Are you asserting I’m a Nazi? You’re fucked in your head if you think that’s the case.

My point is, you are so sure, but so too are those who believe the opposite of you. The honest, objective approach is to not be so sure, otherwise, you’re just as religious as they are.

          • beantownbill. July 7, 2016 at 1:55 pm #

Nah, I don’t believe you’re a nazi. You were the one who brought up the subject wrt nazis and I just responded to the idea of nazi energy.

Religion, by definition has to involve the supernatural. My thinking is that I reject the supernatural as a concept, so I can’t be religious. I may be, however, a staunch rationalist, at least to the extent that anyone can be rational.

So how do you see this Comey caper? As an Italianate farce, something a clownish Berlusconi would pull off? Or as something altogether darker, a Putin-esque scheme designed by a criminal clique to get one of their own off the hook?

    • wpa_ccc July 7, 2016 at 1:00 pm #

No laws were broken. There was no crime committed. The FBI said So. So, is that the end? Oh, no, just the beginning.

Just like there were eight investigations and numerous hearings and millions of dollars spent on Benghazi, there will be numerous congressional investigations of server-gate.

After spending millions more millions of dollars in an attempt to politically damage Hillary she will emerge victorious, just as she has survived untouched by dozens of Republican witch hunts, just as Bill survived when he succeeded in not being impeached by the Republican Puritans.

ServerGate is a political persecution, because no laws were broken.

There is no stopping the Clintons. Resistance is futile. I know because I tried to resist by supporting Bernie and Jill.

The Clintons will occupy the White House again. Eight more years. Like it or not.

Best to take Q’s approach: detached anthropological observation.

      • Florida Power July 7, 2016 at 4:22 pm #

“No laws were broken. There was no crime committed. The FBI said So.”

The FBI said so. That’s exactly the problem. (And Comey did not quite say that anyway. “Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information,” he said, “our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case.”)

The governing statute is straightforward with regard to intent. Namely, intention has nothing to do with the crime and is not part of the law. Until now.

Glenn Greenwald weighed (waded?) in here:
        theintercept.com/2016/07/05/washington-has-been-obsessed-with-punishing-secrecy-violations-until-hil…

He certainly cannot be lumped in with the Vast Right Wing conspirators. And his POV is that DC secrecy is an abomination anyway.

Lawyers specializing in this field are quoted here:
        mcclatchydc.com/news/nation-world/national/article88042162.html

        See also: usnews.com/news/articles/2016-07-06/attorneys-intend-to-ask-for-the-clinton-deal

The administration has in effect established a double-standard depending on the public stature of the accused. Even as it has prosecuted more than other administrations (this probably has much to do with the utter stupidity people will demonstrate with regard to their cell phone use: the sailors taking selfies within classified zones are as mindless of consequences as the petty criminals streaming YouTubes of their crimes).

There may be a constitutional issue with regard to “legislation by agency.” This power is reserved to Congress. We’ll leave that to the ConLaw specialists on the board.

It’s a deep can of worms and maybe deeper than even the Clintons can evade. Was it Lincoln who said you can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you can’t fool all the people all the time?

I think there is the possibility this time they’ve gone too far. The Alt-Media has as much reach as the corporate media if not more. The Establishment BS has been revealed as, well, BS.

      • JimInFlorida July 7, 2016 at 10:23 pm #

Everything Hitler did was LEGAL. Same with Stalin. Neither broke any laws on the books. Kali-Ma Klinton abides by the Satanic laws that give her power. Kali’s critics were greased by professional hit men; even as far back as when she was at the Rose Law Firm. The same tactic used by famous dictators in history.

Bernie’s fecklessness did him in. He never intended to win in the beginning. He was surprised as any when it looked like he could win! Even when he finally took the race seriously, it was too late and he was held back by total cowards, especially Tad Devine. No doubt, the latter was under blackmail by Kali-Ma Klinton’s temple fiends.

As for resisting Kali-Ma Klinton, the only resistance Americans know about is constipation. To exorcise the evil of Hillary requires a thousand Robespierres!

Jill is just a bored activist who wants the excitement of being in a Presidential race. Her otherwise good message means nothing without the Establishment’s approval.

I hope that if Hillary Rodan wins the race, she outlaws the Star Spangled Banner. ZOG Amerika is too cowardly and insane to be entitled to sing it, let alone stanzas 2-4.

Apparently driving while black with a burned out tail light is grounds for extrajudicial execution by police in this country. Philando Castile was fatally shot by police during a traffic stop in Falcon Heights, Minnesota on July 6, 2106. Mr. Castile had his girlfriend and her daughter in the vehicle with him and this act of violence was done in front of them.

So the next time you are driving black and a police officer stops you and asks for ID, what should you do, God knows? Obviously complying with the officers request will get you shot!

The USA is fast becoming a fascist Orwellian police state of the worst kind.

you hunt and peck at poster’s typos. – Frankiti

          =============

          Really? I was unaware. NOT!!

          typo shmypo

Typo is the current world’s excuse for carelessness (I wonder what Hillary’s excuse is.)

Ten years ago I corresponded by email with this gentleman:

          en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francis_Edward_Peters

whose audio book, Jerusalem: The Contested City, I had just borrowed from my local library and listened to.

Several times in the recording my less-than-perfect ears (I am somewhat hearing-impaired) told me that Dr. Peters was mispronouncing two words: sepulcher as sep luh ker and status as stotus. (Note: not only is this sort of thing (this attention to detail) a natural obsession of mine, perhaps genetic, (I seem to have picked it up from my mother as David Foster Wallace did from his mother) but I am a trained auditor with a masters degree and in the era which my career spanned the word typo didn’t cut it as an excuse.)

After giving the good Doctor’s audio book the praise that it deserved I mentioned the mispronunciations and suggested that in future recordings he might want to change those pronunciations, “or not.” In the last sentence of my email I said “Please pardon my Pedantry.”

A reply arrived within the hour and began “Hey Q., no problem, I’m a professor and pedantry is my middle name.”

He went on to tell me about his autobiography (published in 1982) titled “Ours: The Making and Unmaking of a Jesuit” which contained only two footnotes. The one on page 65 concerned the pronunciation of status as stotus.

Here, obviously, was a kindred spirit.

Oh baloney! Please, I did not just fall from the turnip truck. You spin this in to some self-aggrandizing one man crusade to preserve the integrity of the written language. Well, how noble indeed! You are too small, no, too petty minded, to admit the difference between obvious typos and and the more grievous mistakes involving incorrect syntax, or grammar, or non sequiturs and the like. The wise man can see the forest for the trees, the innocent genius of a child, the point of the unlettered man. Get over yourself… you’re nothing.

        Q.,
I nominate a member of your immediate family to be the next victim of a psycho cop’s twitchy trigger-finger. (You don’t get to pick which one, sorry.)
        Happy days!

In keeping with the militarization of the police, their training has also followed the military’s lead. Just go home, just survive is the ethos. Better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6. Training has developed condition responses where mention or presence of a gun results in a muscle-memory response of weapon draw and shot at lost sight of hands. “Hands kill” is the training du jour. No waiting for weapon or threat, just shoot and survive. He doesn’t even know how to act after the murder. Just let him bleed out, and why not, he wasn’t trained past surviving at all costs.

    WHITE LIVES MATTER

A white man in Louisiana — the same state where black man Alton Sterling was fatally shot by cops — went on a shooting rampage and was still taken into custody without harm.

Derrick Daniel Thomas, 32, allegedly shot at a father and his 5-year-old son. He managed to shoot out the windshield and rear window of the pickup truck the two were sitting in, NOLA.com reported.

When New Orleans police finally caught up to the shooter and ordered he drop his gun, Thomas allegedly yelled: “No, you drop your (expletive) gun!”

Thomas was eventually taken into custody after police set up a perimeter. No one died.

    The July Force Majeure

Not everything is so smooth with the full and unconditional victory of Hillary. Too much coincidence and the overarching super-strange events, even sensations, but nobody is paying attention to:

    1. Brexit suddenly almost coincides with the equally sudden recognition by the Germany of genocide of the Armenians, that inspired Hitler’s holocaust, and President Erdogan wrote a letter to Putin, in which he apologized for shooting down of a Russian bomber, and Putin, who just recently did no want even to consider Erdogan apologies and implicitly and pointedly did not answer his calls, suddenly calls Erdogan to accept his apology in response to attempts of Erdogan close circles to disavow that apology and was discussing something with him for 40 minutes.

    2. The next day, in a Turkish airport, which is the main aero-hub between Europe and Asia, supposedly the best friend of Erdogan ISIS punishes the “traitor of the caliphate,” with a large-scale terrorist attack, which in addition to the Russian sanctions could deprive Turkey of a significant part of its budget. As a result, Russia and Turkey really become allies who really conduct joint military actions against ISIS in Syria and Iraq, and the Russians tourists once again flock to Turkish beaches even without their AK-47s.

    3. Republican part of the Commission of inquiry of the incident in Benghazi publishes a 400 page report on the results of the investigation, and the democratic part of the Commission, which published its report several days before, immediately begins screaming that the head of the commission Gowdy, which has long been reproaching them for sabotaging the investigation, had hidden from them and from the congress more juicy facts and intends to use them later, when (if) the power will switch again.

    4. Putin has ceased to appear in public. He was last seen on July 1 in Finland. Moreover, he allegedly canceled a few pre-planned meetings and visits inside the country, which means either illness or emergency situation.

    5. The International Court of Justice in The Hague is now considering a case of a few very small islands in the South China Sea, which China has made into tourism centers, capable of in a few hours to become unsinkable aircraft carriers. But oh and ah, the islands are claimed by the Philippines, Vietnam and Taiwan, and China has already made quite clear that it does not believe in the impartiality of the court and is not going to comply with its decisions. Instead, it is quite clearly demonstrated their technical ability to sink US aircraft carrier groups that are hanging around in the area.

    6. On the same day, US Attorney General Loretta Lynch, on whose desk then had to go the FBI investigation of the activities of Hillary Clinton, on the basis of which Loretta Lynch had to make a decision on the indictment of Hillary and removing her from the elections met at the airport with Bill Clinton. As a result, Loretta Lynch forced to speak on television, explaining that she accidentally met Bill Clinton in airport, and then it turns out that he arrived at the airport in a private jet and a few hours delayed flight so that this “chance encounter” would have taken place. This is a classic case of conflict of interest and US Attorney General when called to explain says that she will never to do it again, and promises to stamp the recommendations of the director of the FBI.

    7. At that time, Taiwan “accidentally” fires a missile in the direction of China and into the Chinese trawler, killing several sailors, while the Turkish airport still wet with blood after the attack, and in Moscow opposition to American diplomats goes into a physical mode when some spy with diplomatic passport is trying to enter the US Embassy in Moscow and being badly beaten.

    8. On the Independence Day during the concert on July 4 is usually performed overture to the opera by Tchaikovsky, in which the full version of Opera includes a performance of the choir “God Save the Tsar”, but this choral piece was never performed until 2015. And in 2015 it was performed on the personal order of President Obama, and in Russian that I interpreted as a sign to President Putin, confirming the authority of the negotiators, leading on his behalf secret talks in Moscow.

But in the 2016 choral part of “God Save the Tsar” performed after the coup of Hillary Clinton and her endorsement by President Obama and I think Putin knows this better than me, and in this situation, when immediately after the notorious endorsement there was a sharp deterioration in the rhetoric of the US representatives toward Russia, and the statements of politicians at the NATO summit in Warsaw are on the level of casus belli, Obama’s ability to ensure the implementation of any agreements is dubious which devalues any of his signs, especially secret.

Nevertheless, the next day Vladimir Putin considered it necessary to call him, and this is his first appearance on the international scene since the first of July.

    9. The FBI Director Comey delivers a speech, the first part of which is a proof of almost all, including serious, allegations against Hillary Clinton in connection with her private server for state secret correspondence (one of which is to gain access to sensitive data by hacker Guccifer), then he refuses to put forward against her any charges on the grounds that “the poor girl did it all by chance”.

    Guccifer is killed in prison.

    10. Vladimir Putin signs a law, which without his signature looks like a writings of a raving maniac, and with his signature looks like a martial law in Russia. What is missing is the right to carry it out on the spot without trial, in accordance with the operational situation.

    11. In Moscow arrives Trump advisor Carter Page.

That’s quite a conspiracy theory Finc. It just doesn’t have enough elements however. Check out the recent Boston Globe story on Igor Stravinsky’s plot to change the arrangement of the “Star Spangled Banner” back in the 1940’s.

He was conducting the Boston Symphony at the time and during war time, pretty much every occasion required that the national anthem be sung.

Stravinsky found the anthem to be un-singable and wanted to try a version that would be easier to sing for the common man. The Associated Press had a hissy fit and suggested that the composer be arrested. He backed down and conducted the original version.

“That’s quite a conspiracy theory Finc”

Which part? regarding the martial law in Russia?

        • San Jose July 7, 2016 at 5:47 pm #

I’m having problems with the “God Save the Tsar” element.

        • FincaInTheMountains July 7, 2016 at 5:59 pm #

So? The the choral piece was never performed until 2015, was performed in July 2015 in Russian and once again couple of days ago – that’s a fact for million of viewers to testify to, not a theory.

I just trying to find a logical hypothesis that all known facts would fit under. You’re welcome to give your version and let’s peer-review.

        • JimInFlorida July 7, 2016 at 6:01 pm #

Finca, is it possible that Russia is greatly compromised by 25 years worth of Western encroachment and that Putin is doing what any good leader would do to mitigate sabotage in time of war?

        • FincaInTheMountains July 7, 2016 at 6:16 pm #

You betcha! Why do you think Russian troops backed all the way to Moscow in 1941? Sabotage by the top Red Army Generals!

That is exactly what the NATO is counting on – they can’t beat Russia in a fair fight, only sabotage and treason!

Putin’s strength is in 85% support of the Russian people, who would welcome the Martial law for survival of the Nation.

          SMERSH

SMERSH – acronym of “death to spies” – was an umbrella organisation for three independent counter-intelligence agencies in the Red Army formed in late 1942 or even earlier, but officially announced only on 14 April 1943. The name SMERSH was coined by Joseph Stalin. The main reason for its creation was to subvert the attempts by German forces to infiltrate the Red Army on the Eastern Front.

Too bad Muammar Gaddafi didn’t have an organization to detect and get rid of CIA and MI6 operatives in Tripoli.

Tony Blair and GW Bush persuaded Gaddafi to drop his guard, give up his nuclear weapons program, allow U.S. advisers, and “open” up the Libyan economy to Western banking practices. To bring Libya back into the civilized world, dontcha know?

Bush and Blair wasted no time infiltrating Gaddafi’s government and armed forces with quislings and CIA-MI6 operatives. As we all saw in real time, our CIA operatives in the armed forces interfered with Libya’s ability to quell a color revolution out of Benghazi. Eventually, when the ZOG-E.U. backed “rebels” marched north to Tripoli, the city’s defenses stood down. Our quisling was in charge of the defense of Tripoli and we told him to stand his forces down.

Like Saddam Hussein’s corrupt military brass, he was easily bribed to betray the Leader who brought Libya out of the Stone Ages and into a modern world of freedom for women and benefits that Americans can only dream about.

When Gaddafi needed his state security to defend the regime, he discovered it was infested with quislings and spies. I hope Russia takes that bitter lesson to heart and NEVER NEVER NEVER trusts Washington for anything!

“discussing something with him for 40 minutes.”

Do Erdogan and Putin have grandkids?

      PS

Happy Independence day. What a fucking joke that has become. Where to start. Last I saw, the CBC (Clinton body count) went up another notch. Supposedly the hacker known as Gucifer that proved that DNC talked about Bitchlary Clinton as the presumptive nominee a year before that first primary and that virtual tie BS in Iowa was found hanged
