Oscar Wilde observed that “life imitates art,” and there they were: the three grand poohbahs of social media, stone-facing the Senate Homeland Security Committee on their zoom screens like a trio of James Bond villains — Jack “Twitter” Dorsey, complete with sinister nose-ring and necromancer’s beard, Mark “Facebook” Zuckerberg, pasty and blank as a knish, and Sundar “Google” Pichai the Merciless. Only missing were the Persian cats in their laps.

They were on-board to answer how come their monstrous information engines were censoring the news so as to possibly influence a national election, and they offered the confabulated fantasy that their cancellation of the Biden Family influence-peddling story in The New York Post, and disabling the accounts of sundry un-Woketarian journalists, was actually a policy of “transparency.” With the election only days away, the subtext of their demeanor was a clear “Fuck you, you can’t do anything about it” to the American people.

Apparently so, but their insolence may be answered by the antitrust case lately teed up against them by the Department of Justice, especially if said election doesn’t go exactly the way they’ve attempted to engineer it. The rest of the Woke news media followed suit with the trio, of course, in an extraordinary affront to the public interest. The New York Times, CNN, and the rest of the gang completed their metamorphosis from a free press to Orwell’s memory hole, where reality goes to die.

But the Biden family grifting story has a life of its own, and the story is that the Democratic Party’s candidate for president would not survive a month in office before being dragged through some dreadful legal proceeding as a threat to national security, having sold himself to the rulers of several foreign countries, all too neatly documented to ignore.

For now, with the news media covering for him, Mr. Biden has managed to duck the story without refuting the authenticity of the evidence, namely, troves of genuine emails and texts between the principals of the various companies set up (in Delaware!) by his son, Hunter Biden, naming the former vice-president as an informed accomplice in schemes to sell his “services” to all comers. And he came pretty cheap, too, considering that the tens of millions proffered was mere walking-around-money to the CCP-connected Chinese billionaires, and others, who sought the deals. They even sent Hunter a hundred-large just “to buy a car.” (Did he get a Chevy Spark and blow the change up his nose, as was his wont, I wonder?)

The now infamous “Laptop from Hell” left behind brainlessly by Hunter in a Delaware repair shop apparently contains a parallel trove of photos and videos self-chronicling the scion’s sordid private life — sex, drugs, etc. — suggesting that he has set himself up as the perfect target for blackmailing operations. And goodness knows what Chinese intel on its own initiative recorded him doing in the hotels there (with amenities supplied) on his many visits to their land. Said laptop was also, it turns out, in the possession of the FBI as far back as the impeachment preliminaries in Adam Schiff’s House Intel Committee, fall of 2019. Since it was full of material counter-evidence about the issue at hand — the president’s phone call to Ukraine’s President Zelensky vis-a-vis the Biden family’s shady doings in that country — the question arises of how deep was the FBI’s complicity in the impeachment ruse?

Could FBI Director Christopher Wray not have known of the laptop’s existence when it came into the agency? I doubt it. Could Mr. Wray have concealed the information from Attorney General Barr? Yes, quite possibly. In the meantime, Mr. Barr has not said a word about the entire Biden pay-for-play / laptop extravaganza. I imagine he’s chewing the office furniture at Main Justice in a fury over it with the election pending, and his duty to avoid influencing the outcome. Mr. Trump has felt a little freer to share the wicked business with the public in his campaign appearances, setting the table for a banquet of consequences when the election is over.

If it can be gotten over, since the Democrats have made no secret of their elaborate plan to confound the results with post November 3 ballot harvesting and Lawfare shenanigans in the swing states — to be accompanied by riots staged by their Antifa and BLM shock troops. I think the idea is to provoke Mr. Trump to call out US troops to quell the riots, thereby opening him up to accusations of being a tyrant. I suspect the Dems will overplay their hand on that trick, since a sizable portion of the public that has not collectively lost its mind is good and goddam sick of riots, arson, destruction of property, and the looting capers that go with them. Mr. Trump has overcome every adversity thrown in his path for four years, and I believe he will get through this final tribulation, beep-beep. And then the games can begin in earnest.

Mr. Biden apparently changed his mind about “putting a lid” on the last week of his campaign and strayed out of his basement in what looks like a desperate effort to dispel the odium hanging over him. He might as well just paint a big “L” on his forehead. Thursday evening, he was onstage in Tampa, angry and fulminating to his usual sparse audience, when the skies opened. The audience peeled away in the pouring rain and so did Joe Biden after only nineteen minutes of bitter vituperation, the perfect picture of loserdom… Captain Queeg meets Willie Loman… without the charm.

And sadly none of this will matter as so many millions have already voted, most likely for Biden. He could lay down blithering and drooling on a stage and the votes are already in. Harris would just take over. Sad what we have become. And yes, it would seem like the FBI did their best to keep the Biden family info from coming to the surface. Yet we were subjected to nearly 4 years of the left’s baseless attempts to frame Trump and get hm impeached.

    • DrTomSchmidt October 30, 2020 at 10:26 am #

No one voted for Biden. A LOT of people voted against Trump, however.

True, but the end result is the same.

Orwell never let 1984 readers any understanding why his big brother is so crazy – when infinite energy resources on Earth, including the energy from the sun, wind, atom and hydro – are all under the big brother’s control?

Was Orwell hiding something from his readers about Energy – that makes his big brother at odd with humans on 24/7 – or this is what we were told?!

          Wail.

Big Brother was holding onto power at all cost. That meant 24/7 surveillance and one-party rule.

Don’t discount the silent middle class masses who will not be voting for Trump, but will be voting against Biden. They just won’t broadcast that fact to the world. Maybe not even to their spouses.

I held my nose and voted against Hillary first time around.
After watching how far the leftist media would go to destroy Trump I am now not only not holding my nose but telling people who I voted for and why.
I have voted for a Democrat exactly once and that was two days ago and have regretted that decision since then and the reason only two choices both Democrat.

And those are the type of people Uncle Joe Stalin referred to as “useful idiots.” The kind of people who would throw away their country because the only leader on recent memory who’s in actually doing his damn job is also “rude and mean and he cheated on his wives,” then spend the rest of their lives bitching because nobody will do anything to fix the country’s problems.

La Klingon could not beat Trump nor can Biden – the only person who can beat Trump is hissownself.
But that would require an electorate with some sign of sentience so it looks like Trump Jnr 2024.

Lol and the grand game keeps going on in the most important election ever, now where have I heard that before as they run their wash, rinse and repeat operation and the suckers buy it up,all up in a righteous lather as they vainly try to figure out which is the least corrupt, but of course not in their man who is as white as the driven snow.

And of course the greatest enemy of the people are the people themselves as they buy into anything, even if its coming from some carney on the mid-way,and they secretly ask themselves is America shot of course it is stick with a fork its over done, once again proving the fact that the American people will buy into anything as long as they think they are getting something for nothing, or fancy slogans, change you can believe in, a chicken in every pot, MAGA which is nothing but the froth on a beer its all air with no substance. Now this family quit voting in 2016 when we saw what the deep pockets put up for sale, the dregs of the pot which we will gladly pass on and we are still getting the same.!!!!

2016: There’s the thing I want. Then there’s the choices I have. I want neither choice. But, I DON’T WANT one of the choices more than the other choice.so I voted against Clinton

2020: Everything I though about Trump in the past was wrong. He’s been a great President for ALL AMERICANS. He is the thing I want. Moreover, he is the thing WE NEED. If the rest of the world doesn’t like America because of DJT, then good. No foreign entanglements. What’s the down side?

My Democrat friends. Abandon ship. Your party has been boarded by communist pirates. You don’t have to change your stripes, if you want to keep the dialog going to achieve civil ends, join us and vote for the THING YOU WANT. I hope its not communism.

Millions have already voted and their votes counted. In the cases where the result was unacceptable new mail-in ballots were simply printed and the “bad” ones lost.

As for the voting at the polls, the computers are equipped with more sophisticated back doors this time. (Designed by Facebook or Google?) After all there have been four electoral cycles to refine the process without the need to resort to embarrassing hanging chads or last minute vote massaging like Bush/Ohio in 2004 where the results changed 10% from the time a voter entered the polling both until they walked out the door.

Meanwhile in Venezuela all voting is electronic and automatically counted, but every vote is verified and backed up by a paper copy and a finger print record.

    • Bob12065 October 31, 2020 at 4:30 am #

According to a conversation that I had yesterday with a Board of Elections staffer, in NY, a mail in vote/ballot can be changed by merely showing up at the polls to vote again. And mail in voting here is restricted to requests for an absentee ballot. There are electronic cross polling systems set up so you can’t vote twice. But more importantly, if one shows up to vote personally, the system will automatically cancel the mail in ballot in your name.

      • Q. Shtik October 31, 2020 at 2:44 pm #

Very sad, but true. The FBI has become the deep state coverup agency, and the fact they just sat on that laptop since 12/19 is further proof of that. That is why Bobulinski came forward to confirm the emails, at great risk to himself.
Some have suggested that the FBI was planning to use that evidence as blackmail against Joe if he got elected, which seems possible, but that cat is out of the bag now…

      Nice history reminder, me thinks.

A very nutty old man kept repeating that for awhile, awhile back. I don’t have a story for whether he suffered any blowback from that. But anyway, his words as well as I can remember them:
“It’s all bullshit, folks, and it’s bad for ya.”

Two Dr. Evil references in the first three paragraphs. Love it.

The tech CEOs are the saddest-looking bunch of “leaders” imaginable. And they all know what they’re doing, it’s annoying to see them deflect and obfucate (and straight up lie) when asked direct questions.

Also, I sure hope JHK is right that enough of us are sick and tired of the senseless, childish violence to keep things from going nuclear. I for one will fully support a heavy hand by the National Guard if it must be that way to keep from absolute chaos. There are just some people who need to be knocked down and put in jail, always been that way, always will be.

    • Ron Anselmo October 30, 2020 at 9:55 am #

If it does, I sure hope it goes down fast, before everything spills out to the suburbs. Lots of unnecessary ugliness would happen in that instance. Anyone staying anywhere near downtown in any city larger than pop. 10,000 is asking for trouble on election night.

        • MiddlePeninsula October 30, 2020 at 10:37 am #

MrMango – I agree. I live in a rural area. The lone “black lives matter” sign lasted a day. Everyone white, black or whatever gets along just fine here. No one needed some signs to stir it up. Also there have been several rallies for the police department. We appreciate our law enforcement. BLM or Antifa better not come this way. These guys and gals around here hunt a lot. Draw your own conclusions.

          • MrMangoOnMyShoulder October 30, 2020 at 11:13 am #

We’re 25 miles out from a major downtown, quiet suburbia on the edge of farmland (with a lot of people noticeably casually armed…when you see people doing maintainence on their compound bows in the front yard on a Saturday afternoon, you know there’s plenty of other “protective goodies” locked up in the house as well). I’d sure like the riffraff to stay the hell out of here if violence stirs. Be bad for both sides of the situation.

Will be keeping an eye on the local news on Tues, that’s for sure. Also will be ready to duck out 90 miles to about as rural as it gets, as family would be expecting us in the event of madness. Luckily the duck out route easily avoids major freeways the entire way. Man I hope things stay sane. This is just stupid.

” There are just some people who need to be knocked down and put in jail, always been that way, always will be.”

That sentence contains the kernel of the matter. The left holds that it is society’s fault if a lamb strays and that a proper organization of society will cure all ills. Realists know that your statement is correct.

We do more harm by letting the strays lead others astray than the harm done by jailing them.

The solution to the threat posed by the Three Horsemen of the Apocalypse is to simply outlaw Facebook, Twitter, and Google. And replace them with Nothing. On balance would the world not be better off without a massive spying network like Facebook or a centralized information filter and censorship net like Google?

And while we are at it why not break up Amazon and exile Bezos to St. Helena like was done with Napoleon? They both had the same life goal—world domination.

We really do live in two complete separate worlds now. ya know, people contemporary to the Civil War wrote about similar circumstances where two sets of people were living in two realities and the impossibility of one side communicating with the other.

My Democratic friends and associates live in a reality where Trump has turned loose his army of white nationalists to burn down and loot cities. They tell me that Trump is a Russian puppet that is making billions off of his presidency while locking children in cages here at home. They tell me that his wife hates him and he had a body double of her made so that he could be seen in public with her. These are college educated NPR listening “enlightened liberals”.

On the other side we have a Biden “crime family” that is controlled by China. We have Qanon where the elites do terrible things to children. We have a Deep State that wishes to sell us all out to a cabal of globalists that wish to lower our standard of living to that of Nigeria. They see the Democrats as Branch Covidians that purposely shut down the economy in order to hurt Trump and independent small businesses.

How can these two sides come together as Americans? Someone please tell me.

    • Vadrosaul October 30, 2020 at 10:04 am #

They are not. Likely will be a post WW2 Pakistan-India situation, with a geographic migration of millions of Americans.

Meanwhile, China and their billion+ mainland ants are executing the dream of Hitler in a much more calculated and beautifully executed fashion. What is the phonetic Mandarin translation for “racial purity” and “lebensraum”?

Letting people go back to work and have a common societal goal (decency of quality of life) might be a good start.

Then repeal Section 230 of the CDA and regulate the damn social platforms. People might just tire of the normality and start finding it boring. But probably not…most people aren’t bored to tears by social.

      • MrMangoOnMyShoulder October 30, 2020 at 10:06 am #

I am, however. There must be more out there with a like mind, no?

        • Siebert October 30, 2020 at 8:20 pm #

Bored to tears? Not at all, but totally disengaged.

I was in the Boston area Ivy League School wave of early 2002 Facebook invitees and I remember thinking, “Good gosh, it’s just like a Junior High School corridor with the assigned lockers on each side. Nothing good will ever come out of it. Everyone will get beat up.”

Eventually I joined and had my Facebook account hacked in 2011. The two faced denial of the website crud mongers was humiliating and I never went back unless through a virtual private network with a fake name.

It’s the frenzied connectedness of internet social media that is particularly horrifying, especially due to the fact that many believe it is as legitimate as the little screen in their pocket, which is a full-on broadcasting facility they carry around all the time, relentlessly narcissistic.

Like I said, nothing good will ever come out of it. Social media is hypnotic dopamine jolts many times a day and guess who capitalized on that in a way that is political narrative? The Donald will go down in history for many things, but his command of politicized social media will be legend.

“to lower our standard of living to that of Nigeria”
      C’mon man!
The Dems would gladly make the USA a Nigeria. After all they have a population of 207 million and only 1000 Covid deaths as of October 30. Obviously there standard of living and health care system is vastly superior to the USA. They must be really good at “Social Distancing” Somehow I don’t think so. We are headed into a “Dark,Dark Winter”

“The Dems would gladly make the USA a Nigeria. ” I actually knew a Nigerian who emigrated to the USA, became a physician and a US Army officer. He wanted to return to the old country and show off his wealth. He shipped his Mercedes to Lagos ahead of his arrival so he could have a suitable ride while in Nigeria. The Mercedes somehow disappeared on the docks of Lagos and was never heard from again. He was so naive he was surprised by this outcome.

The two sides cannot and will not reconcile. This is how the US CW1 started, it’s how the Bosnian CW started, it’s how the savagery in South Africa started, it’s how multiple CWs in sub-saharan Africa started, and it’s how the US CW2 has already started. It’s just a matter of time when a ‘Concord event’ will inflame the Red state residents enough to stop wishing/hoping that Trump will save us, and they’ll start blowing away blues on site.

And, BTW, blue migration away from shitholes into red areas is only accepted by real estate people and those selling homes to them at outrageous prices. Others are pissed and do not welcome them at all. The ‘migrants’ will regret moving away from their shitholes and into something far far more dangerous for them and their families.

It’s all coming. Bank on it.

The blueprint to destroy a nation has been used before and is being used now.

My friend from South Africa says this is how they destroyed his country and he had to flee to these United States.

I tease him and tell him he is the destroyer of countries.
To be honest he is probably one of the best and most law abiding people I know wish we had several million more like him.
Honest, hard working to a fault and won’t take anything from anyone.

The nation has destroyed itself, no blueprint needed; or maybe the age old blueprint of greed and fear, leading to an inert population that only cares about the next free handout. Check out the character of the people and how they maintain what they have. It ain’t pretty.

        Greetings,

I am one of those “migrants”. I fled California at the end of February and bought a house in the Midwest sight unseen. I was living in SoCal on the beach in what should have been paradise but it turned into a festering sh*thole. It was dangerous and the people around me were beginning to talk about how violence against business owners was morally acceptable since all business owners were evil Trump fascists and “getting rid of them” and redistributing their wealth was the ONLY path forward.

The first thing I did on arriving to my new home was to get a US Army Veteran (which I am) license plate frame and put it on my car. I then went and spoke to each of my neighbors and explained to them what I had witnessed, why I had moved and that I fled California because I was a conservative business owner (my new neighbors own business as well) and that I came to this very small town because I agree with its politics and culture and not because I wanted to change it.

        So far, so good.

Yes, people are voting with their feet. My home in California was flooded with drug addicts, homeless and the perpetually offended victim class of do-nothings. California welcomes them and my new neighbors welcome me.

        • neurodoc October 30, 2020 at 11:23 am #

I have known quite a few people who have told me that they moved to another country, and things went well until there was a recession or similar event. Then they were viewed as the ‘ugly American.’ Many well done social psych experiments have shown that people from different backgrounds/origins work well during ‘positive’ periods but that always breaks down when the shit hits the fan. Don’t just assume that you’re accepted and welcomed just because people in the red states smile and shake your hand. FYI

          • Mountain gal October 30, 2020 at 11:34 am #

True. I think that ultimately when things get tough, blood is thicker than everything else, but long-time friends, neighbors and those of similar values/ethnicity/religion also band together. Tough being an outsider during scary times. Not sure if those fleeing the blue cities realize this or perhaps they figure their money will just continue to buy them whatever they need?

            Greetings,

I’m also sure that they see me loading various military style weapons into my car to go to the local firing range. I did a lot of interesting things during my 8 years in the military and my time doing mercenary work for the US State Department. I truly feel sorry for anyone that thinks they are gonna mess with me. Seriously.

          • MrMangoOnMyShoulder October 30, 2020 at 12:07 pm #

We moved to a farm in the middle of nowhere about 6 years ago, spent three years there before moving back closer to the city (oops…but with a new baby, constantly keeping up an ancient farmhouse with hamster wheel internet wasn’t making work or life any easier.) My wife grew up there, so I was generally accepted from go. That said, I also learned how to do things, helped people build/maintain structures on their property and visibly participated in the community. But it’s true – mo matter how nice your neighbor a mile down the country road is, he will eventually tire of having to pull your small city car out of the snowy ditch with his bigass truck.

Sounds like Nickel has positioned himself well…in rural communities bringing skills and values to the table is more important than being affable. He’ll do fine.

People just plain do not want to put up with the way the US is going, period. They are sick and tired of working hard just to have their capital gain frittered away by a government stealing and giving it to the gimmes. That is the Dems raison d’etre.

The socialists are spreading from their urban nests and turning the country blue as they go. What happens to the gimmes when the tit dries up? Someone has to make the bucks to be stolen away. What happens when the money makers all leave?

Arizona has been polluted by blues from the border and California. There is a good choice that all major offices will be blue after the election, and marijuana will be legalized.

I left Colorado sixteen years ago because of the horrible weather and it’s starting to turn blue. It is now exclusively blue and just full of intoxicated weed smokers. Good move!

Now I am facing the same prospect here. What to do, where to go?

The Left is a gigantic malignancy. Cancer is fatal.

Let’s all keep a close eye on NYC to find out what happens when a big chunk of the taxpayers run for their lives. We may not see the results for several years but they’re unavoidable. How long did it take for Detroit to turn into a dystopian landscape after the tax base dried up?

It may be too that people leaving California (like NickelthroweR) have changed their politics after a sobering brush with reality. The Democrats only condemn violence in the vaguest terms and the news media minimizes it or ignores it completely.

I’m hoping the obvious censorship surrounding the Biden story will wake people up to how much closer we’re coming to having no freedom of speech. The journalists who have condemned the press for their silence on reporting it are being censored themselves. Glenn Greenwald resigned from his own site b/c he refused to edit out any criticism of Biden.

          Mountain Gal:
“True. I think that ultimately when things get tough, blood is thicker than everything else, but long-time friends, neighbors and those of similar values/ethnicity/religion also band together. ”

Well, I think one of the main points of this post and of many comments is that the polarization perpetrated (IMHO) by Democrats and others who suffer from exaggerated TDS has resulted in wedges being driven between exactly those family and friends who should be part of the same support system. So, what next?

So, moving to a new community is partly a reaction to the destruction of that sense of security that one thought one had in the original community.

Agree that moving to a new area can defnitely result in culture shock among both the newcomers and the “natives.” In spades when it is a foreign country. It is probably a good idea if one contemplates moving to a foreign country to do with a group of like-minded or to search out expats when one gets there.

Of course there is a huge danger that the expat community will be just as nutty and “woke” as the one one is trying to get away from here . . .

As for me I’ll wait and see how the mood—and comprehension—develops after 11/3. I decided to vote for trump and did so this a.m. I also declined ‘to vote for a local “woke” individual running in a local race. I won’t breathe a word of my voting choice until I see which way the wind is blowing. If it becomes a problem I shall just lie or stay mum, to spare myself the aggravation. It doesn’t matter anyhow because I live in a blue state.

But, I would dearly love to see Trump and a motivated Barr pursue criminal indictments of Biden and Co and the Russiagate criminals. Also I would like to see Schiff pay the price for his lying and, actually, treason. Ditto characters like the Vindman brothers.

Wound in time on basic economic level where, in most cases, folks were not that far apart on socioeconomic ladder. Just one sample.

Wait, you’re missing the most important question: Which side is right? Both of them? Neither of them? Or at least one more than the other?

America is kaputski in its current form. Any America 2.0 must be built on better foundations. The Bidentes will become refugees begging to be allowed into our Nation, their own ruined by violence and tyranny.

But that’s in the future. For now, we have to somehow separate from the crazies. To answer you question: There is no way to come together as Americans (they don’t believe it should exist), nor should we want to given their mindset.

      • JohnAZ October 30, 2020 at 3:23 pm #

There is one thing that separates the two sides.

Dems are Lifers, it is their career. They are totally dedicated to their agenda, they will lie, cheat, steal, some say even murder to sustain their power base.

GOPers are temps, mostly. They come and go. They do not stand up for their beliefs and compromise at the drop of a hat. They appear to be cowards, or even traitors but the real deal is they are not dedicated to much of anything. RINO is becoming a four letter word.

These two descriptions put together explain why the US power base has drifted blue for three generations. Dedicated Dems and Namby Pamby RINOs.

No wonder the DC crowd hates Trump, he is threatening their cushy jobs.

    • ThorsHammer October 30, 2020 at 3:09 pm #

How do the two sides come together? In an open meadow facing each other like in Gettysburg? All armed with AK47’s backed up by 50 caliber sniper rifles?

Or more likely sequestered at home in front of the big screen wearing masks and playing a video game entitled Civil War 3.0.

      • JohnAZ October 30, 2020 at 3:28 pm #

Examine the various groups and their geographic location. When it is time to defend their turf, where is that turf for each group?

Groups like CAIR, BLM, La Raza will be staking out their turf in the future. So will the White majority. A big question will be, where does everyone go?

        • Epicur October 30, 2020 at 6:51 pm #

“A big question will be, where does everyone go?”

I think there is a very real possibility that a war will thin the herd quite a bit. If we are lucky it will not be nuclear.

People are going to have to get very desperate before they launch something like that. Another 10 or 20 years ought to do it.

      Here’s your white supremacist:

New York man convicted in ‘death ray’ case targeting Muslims, Obama

ALBANY, N.Y. (Reuters) – A jury on Friday convicted a New York white supremacist on all three federal counts for plotting to use a remote-controlled radiation device to harm Muslims and President Barack Obama.
      https://www.yahoo.com/news/york-man-convicted-death-ray-case-targeting-muslims-184034908.html

What the article doesn’t say is that this guy was a random nutcase who claimed to be a member of the KKK but who nonetheless went to some local Jews to offer them his death ray to use against some local Muslims.

When the Jews reported the guy to the FBI, they (the FBI)worked with the guy on developing something that might actually work, so that they would get their quota of white supremacist terrorist arrests.

Not exactly entrapment, but not a real terrorist bust, either.

Supremacists, not nationalists. I’ve met a few of the latter, but none of the former. Most white nationalists I’ve met strike me as “white inferiorists” as they seem to think that whites cannot survive in contact and competition with other races.

Maybe they should brand themselves as that?

      • Yohannon October 30, 2020 at 1:08 pm #

Thomas Jefferson was one such. He said that two populations in close contact would invariably mix together and that he didn’t think that was a good thing (since he valued his people as they were). So they had to go.

On the other hand, there are still Chaldeans and Assyrians around. People from the Middle East are used to living close to other groups and ignoring them. Very close clan/kin ties with much cousin marriage. Should we become like them? Or just mix with everyone willy nilly?

Tell us! You’re smarter than Thomas Jefferson after all….

        • tresho October 30, 2020 at 2:43 pm #

” People from the Middle East are used to living close to other groups and ignoring them. ” I’ve been reading the news from that part of the world. They have never “ignored” the other different people living close to them. They seem to make war on each other almost continually from one millennium to the next.

          • Yohannon October 30, 2020 at 2:54 pm #

Well when the tension get too high you can’t ignore the other. American mostly ignore other races too. But competition for scarce resources will swing the pendulum as you say.

      • Tate October 30, 2020 at 1:30 pm #

Joe Sobran (deceased) was a White supremacist.

        Quote:

“Western man towers over the rest of the world in ways so large as to be almost inexpressible. It’s Western exploration, science, and conquest that have revealed the world to itself.
Other races feel like subjects of Western power long after colonialism, imperialism, and slavery have disappeared.
The charge of racism puzzles whites who feel not hostility, but only baffled good will, because they don’t grasp what it really means: humiliation.
The white man presents an image of superiority even when he isn’t conscious of it.
        And, superiority excites envy.
Destroying white civilization is the inmost desire of the league of designated victims we call minorities.”

        Joseph Sobran, April 1997

Sobran hit the key elements: envy & a concomitant need to destroy.

Why aren’t you a White supremacist, Dr. Tom? You should be, as should we all, those of us who have no desire to see the destruction of Western civilization.

        • Kim October 31, 2020 at 4:28 am #

          @ Tate

“The white man presents an image of superiority even when he isn’t conscious of it. And, superiority excites envy.”

Sobran hit the key elements: envy & a concomitant need to destroy.

This hits the nail on the head. It is the politics of envy and of a consciousness of inferiority.

Kaczynski made a similar point about leftists in general. That they suffered form two conditions:

          1. A sense of personal inferiority

This is very obvious – for example – in the persona of the commenter here who goes by the handle Pam Demic. She has that view: “I will tear down everything because I believe everything is better than me and I resent that.”

          Never anything positive or constructive.

          2. They are over-socialized personalities. They are deeply offended by and fearful of people who won’t follow the plan. They find dissent unbearable.

You know, you have to wear a mask or we will all die!

The consensus is in! The science is settled!

        • Amman October 31, 2020 at 3:42 pm #

Lets be clear about this statement of his. What Sobran means by his terms – “exploration, science and conquest” – is plunder, weapons of war, and murder.

          • Kim October 31, 2020 at 9:38 pm #

            @ amman

Conquest may or may not involve murder, but it is hardly a behavior limited to whites.

You have heard of Genghis Khan? Or Islam? Lots of murder, very little science.

      • Kim October 31, 2020 at 4:14 am #

        @ Dr TomSchmidt

“Most white nationalists I’ve met strike me as “white inferiorists” as they seem to think that whites cannot survive in contact and competition with other races.”

The implicit suggestion of your assertion is that “in competition with” would be under conditions of equal treatment.

But we all know – and certainly white racists are aware of this – that there is not equal treatment.

Rather, we are all aware – even you must know and concede this – that an entire raft of legislation is currently ranged against whites, legislation that

        1) advantages non-whites and disadvantages whites through such things as preferential treatments and quotas

        2) permits large scale government and private programs of discrimination, propaganda, and slander against whites

        3) forbids whites from organizing in defence of their own interests

The idea that whites, in a world where all are treated equally, could not survive in compettion with other races, is absurd.

The left is well aware (apparently they are more realistic than you) that their pet negroes and other races cannot succeed on their own abilities in fair competition against whites – that is why they constantly work to hobble whites, socially and legislatively.

I have actually met a few in the for what its worth category.

Only one of them was a hateful prick the other two spoke like Janos not of hate but of differences that make living together difficult.

Being a white nationalist is not about racism but of putting your country and people first including your countrymen who are of different complexions before worrying about all the other countries around the world.
      How is that actually bad?

      • Kim October 30, 2020 at 11:05 pm #

The first observation of white nationalism is that the racial profile of your country is a major determinate of its outcomes.

It is a statement so obviously true that – as a racist – it is beyond me to understand how anyone can assert otherwise.

But it is important – for the sake of clear discussion – to understand that this view is distinct from being a so-called “(white) supremacist”.

A white/black/jewish/muslim/chinese/whatever supremacist would be a person who asserts that the claimed superiority of one group over another should be enshrined in the laws and social practices of a society and result in the unassailable social and political dominance of said group.

Examples of explicitly supremacist societies might include the antebellum South, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and any country under Sharia, Zimbabwe, contemporary South Africa, Japan, Korea, China and most other Asian countries, Israel and any other country under zionism. India, too, or at least its separate states, could also probably be said to be organized on at least implicit supremacist lines.

Looking at this list, we observe that almost every country on earth outside of the West is organized on supremacist principles.

We can also note that it is supremacist nations – invariably enemies of the West and especially of White people – who are most vociferous in their demands that the West destroy the social and racial cohesiveness that the supremacist nations themselves prize so highly.

        Interesting, that, don’t you think?

Anyway, to be a racist is not to imply supremacist. I personally, as a racist, think that most of the current difficulties faced by proximity to people who hate and wish to destroy us can be substantially ameliorated by returning to citizens their rights to freedom of association and by removing government involvement in the formulation, legislation, and enforcement of race-based policies.

In other words, as a racist, I want the government to get the hell out of race politics.

Surely that is the polar opposite of being a “supremacist”?

This was sent out by Michael Flynn, ex-head of the DIA and a 3-star US Army General still currently in legal limbo at the behest of Deep State thugs.

“Former Apostolic Nuncio to the US, Arch Bishop Vigano’s open letter to President Trump warns of a ‘Great Reset’ plot to destroy humanity.

“It is not surprising that the enemy is angered at being discovered… undisturbed.”

Back-up link, since the site is now down:

    https://www.lifesitenews.com/images/pdfs/Open_Letter_to_POTUS.pdf

    The meat:

“The purpose of the Great Reset is the imposition of a health
dictatorship aiming at the imposition of liberticidal measures, hidden behind
tempting promises of ensuring a universal income and cancelling individual
debt. The price of these concessions from the International Monetary Fund
will be the renunciation of private property and adherence to a program of
vaccination against Covid-19 and Covid-21 promoted by Bill Gates with the
collaboration of the main pharmaceutical groups. Beyond the enormous
economic interests that motivate the promoters of the Great Reset, the
imposition of the vaccination will be accompanied by the requirement of a
health passport and a digital ID, with the consequent contact tracing of the
population of the entire world. Those who do not accept these measures will
be confined in detention camps or placed under house arrest, and all their
    assets will be confiscated.”

Everything that Jim writes is true…but. He is blind in one eye if he thinks that Trump is part of the solution to the societal collapse of America. No, he isn’t and just like Obama he squandered the opportunity to act significantly in the things that desperately needed correcting. Obamacare was a joke, and he failed to resuscitate the federal treasury. Davoscracy and the worldview of reality-challenged billionaires ruled supreme. Trump moved against the globalist agenda, but absolutely failed in understanding the middle ground of American politics that would help the majority of Americans in restoring faith in the system. Just the other day, in one of his late desperation rallies Trump raved against the evils of the “socialist” public option. Does he not know that 80% of Americans favor that? Does he not know that public health care and social security were first introduced in Germany by Otto vob Bismarck in 1880’s? Not exactly a socialist, was he ? No, Bismarck was only politically smart enough to know how to take the wind out of the sails of the crazed leftists. Trump just isn’t anywhere that smart.

    • MrMangoOnMyShoulder October 30, 2020 at 11:45 am #

I’ve not gathered that JHK believes Trump is a solution to anything, necessarily. Rather, he seems to hold that Trump is currently a better option in at least trying to hold the floodgates of idiocy closed a while longer before the tidal wave flings it wide open and sweeps through, taking any remaining familiar societal norms with it. Maybe at least allow people some time to get their affairs in order instead of just shrugging, handing over the keys and saying, “Fine, have at it, shitheads!”

Can’t pretend to speak for our host, just seems more the angle I’ve gleaned through his recent partisan shift in writing. Or maybe that’s just what I want to see, and I’ve been reading that into his writing, who knows.

Extending Medicare to all Americans and not just allowing those 62 and up to enjoy the benefits we all paid into, and having the Social Security program that has literally saved American seniors from extreme poverty (another program seniors paid into all of our working lives) I would term as “socialist lite” since the recipients contributed to both programs with deductions from our paychecks.

Trump would be a true national hero if he asked Congress to allow all Americans under 62 to have Medicare with a work contribution and our taxes making a contribution as well. Medicare could then negotiate very low drug prices, everyone could change jobs and move from state to state without worrying about being “covered” (portability) and never have to worry about losing their homes due to unexpected illnesses.

I am a Registered Nurse (retired) and have championed Medicare for All for decades and it is a fact that the vast majority of polling shows the American people supporting such a health program which would save billions by eliminating the unnecessary insurance corporations from their gouging and controlling middle man positions. When Medicare is explained, as above, well over 50% polled support it.

Which is why the corporate whore Joe Biden announced that if Congress passed Medicare for All he would veto it.

Obama was even worse. He lied about supporting Medicare for All then once he was elected he signed on to Romneycare and he even personally killed The Public Option.

Trump could do a listening tour on healthcare and get an earful. The American people are tired of being dicked around by private insurance and their games and gouging. People need health “security” since most Americans are one heart attack away from having medical bills causing them to lose their homes!

If Trump wants a great legacy, securing Social Security and simply extending Medicare to all who want it would do the trick.

If supporting the above makes me a socialist then so be it.

And I am voting for Donald John Trump on Tuesday.

        • JohnAZ October 30, 2020 at 3:55 pm #

You are not a socialist! I too am a retired nurse. The problem that no politician seems to Understand is that medicine is not a competitive industry, the free market does not work. The conservative view of medicine will never work, there are no competitive forces.

It is a utility. Like other utilities, like electricity, gas, where one company serves a locale, regulation is required to offset monopolistic humongous prices.

When the GOP had control of everything in DC, 2017-2019, their main objective was to get rid of Obamacare. They couldn’t. They could not come up with anything better.

The American people are sick of it.

Medicare for all, where the 80-20% split is variable over the life span and it is financed by adjustment of the payroll tax is a viable solution. The plan must be put into a lock box, better than now, to keep Liberal spenders mitts off of it. Social Security too.

There is no reason why a combination of Social Security and Medicare for All could not be Designed to provide medical and retirement security for all, including the majority that do not have a clue about saving for the future. Economies of scale would keep prices down.

The real problem is how to keep the capital pool away from the sleazy Deep State crooks in DC. Their ever growing tendency to feed the hog would destroy the integrity of any communal system.

This government never creates, it destroys.

          • JohnAZ October 30, 2020 at 3:58 pm #

The difference between Europe and America re: medicine is the grifters in our government. They have just about destroyed SS and Medicare as they now exist.

    • Kim October 30, 2020 at 11:33 pm #

It is you, Soloview, and not Jim who is deluded.

First, when the old age pension was introduced in Germany in 1889, the retirement age was set at 70 years. At birth, a German male had a life expectancy of 37.7 years.

This was hardly going to break the German budget. And it hardly justifies a Democrat policy today of free, world class health for anyone who can buy a plane ticket to the USA.

Beyond that, ask yourself, what conditions existed in Germany in the late 19th C that allowed it to introduce even a limited welfare state?

At that time Germany was an economic powerhouse the like of which the world had never seen, producing new science and technology at freakish rates and underwritten by substantial suplies of good quality coal. Germany at the time was a young, optimistic, cohesive, racially homogenous and well educated nation with a positive self image.

How does that compare with what the USA has been turned into today?

Unfortunately, a Biden victory is not beyond the realm of possibility, based on the early voting probably being influenced by the president’s abysmal performance in the first Biden-Trump debate.

I voted absentee for Trump two weeks ago.

Recently I wrote here that if Biden wins, we should launch our own Resistance, since turnabout is fair play.

In thinking about that, it became clear that what I had in mind was not what the disloyal opposition Democrats have done, starting in 2016. I envision non-violent protest with the only law breaking being civil disobedience, in which protestors risk arrest by not obeying police orders. No sedition, rioting, arson, or looting. No assaults on police officers. No phony witch-hunt investigations, not based on evidence.

I have not done civil disobedience, but I have witnessed it. Law enforcement simply stated to the participants that if they crossed a line, they would be arrested. That is what happened. A far cry from the violent mobs in places like Minneapolis and Portland this summer.

I always worked like a dog and got my butt educated. I have removed libtards from my life. Even my own sister who apparently loves child chest rubbers and career criminals.
Oh, and I retired. No need to feed the beast any more than I have too.

        Same here.

No Twitter, quit FB two years ago, TV off all day but watch DVR’d Tucker at night then a 1930’s TCM movie maybe.

Only read a few websites religiously.

        Boycotts work.

  17. Doug October 30, 2020 at 11:15 am #

I’ve never seen such a bunch of losers on the Democrat side of the aisle in my life. JFK and Truman are rolling over in their honorable graves. There is no honor or integrity left.

The Democratic Party have essentially become the anti-white, anti-straight, anti-white male, and anti-Christian party. Why would a white, or male, or straight, or Christian vote Democrat? Why would they vote for their own persecution and marginalization?

I don’t think there is much sanity in being an anti-white party in a country of 65% whites. but this is the essence of cultural Marxism which has thoroughly “infected” the Democratic Party. This lack of sanity tells me we’re dealing with psychological problems. It’s even more than that. The Left is having a psychological and spiritual crisis indicating

    From my post: http://gulfcoastcommentary.blogspot.com/2020/10/democrat-nihilism-anti-white-anti-male.html

“These people want to cancel YOUR opinions, remake the entire culture and economy based on the whims and fads of today. They would ignore what has worked in this country for about 200 years (until about 1971), subvert your freedoms, take your guns (of course), take over the economy through higher taxation and controlling all aspects of your life—and would eventually make the US just like failed and corrupt Puerto Rico in the case of AOC or shit-hole Somalia in Ilhan Omar’s case.”

    • Yohannon October 30, 2020 at 1:29 pm #

If they had only waited, they would have been the majority in a few more election cycles, Whites being much older than non-Whites on average. Then they could have gotten the legal right to begin the great persecution against us. Trump wouldn’t have stopped them since he said, I want these people here because the economy is so good. As long as they were legal. Open borders essentially, just like George Bush’s plan.

They lost their patience and over-reached. And in so doing, awoke Whites to their imminent peril.

Posted this info. in the previous thread.

Greenwald and Taibbi just took one more step toward the light.

They are in the final stages of fighting off fears of social shame in favor of the truth.

The Intercept is an absolute joke these days.

        • FreddieMars October 30, 2020 at 10:57 pm #

Is that ‘final step’ endorsing Mr. Trump, Night Owl? I think it’d be cold day in hell before Matt Taibbi goes to THAT extent.

          • Kim October 30, 2020 at 11:50 pm #

I’d be glad if Greenwald would stop using that lisp they affect. Tell me, is talking so that you sound like air leaving a tire a preference or an orientation?

          • Night Owl October 31, 2020 at 5:27 am #

Ofc. He is a coward in that respect. There is a reason it takes him so long to get to the truth.

His value is that he is a relatively mainstream voice who does eventually get there. But like many progs, he is very afraid of what others think. Probably some trauma from childhood.

          • FreddieMars October 31, 2020 at 3:05 pm #

So, Taibbi’s ‘Insane Clown President” was, to my mind, informative, along with his many RS essays through the campaign period. He was roundly critical of both political parties and their candidates, but his most vituperous barbs were for Mr. Trump.

‘Hate Inc” appears to have come from some sort of Damascene Moment, leading to regret & mea culpae aplenty, but I wouldn’t agree that he’s ‘cowardly’ or subject to fear of the opinions of others. I also doubt he’d ever actively support Mr Trump, regardless what the thinks of the DNC or Mr Biden.

          • Night Owl October 31, 2020 at 6:00 pm #

            What was informative about it?

He is indeed cowardly. He criticizes when it is safe to do so. His comments on the state of the media give him away more than on any other subject.

I’ve worked in news and publishing, and find it fascinating that it took him most of the Trump presidency to admit what we all see on a daily basis. Verifiably fake story after fake story, with some true howlers that no one of his intelligence could overlook, without some other force driving the feigned ignorance.

Taibbi criticizes now, as the evidence is overwhelming. He started to turn the corner during the middle stages of the Flynn debacle and the absurd narratives cast by CNN and the rest of the corporate McMedia operations.

And, not directly related, but personally, I find the stories about him and his compadre Mark Ames sexually exploiting young Russian girls during his Moscow years to be revealing. To date, he has never provided an explanation for his actions that seemed to hold much (if any) water, and much of what he says often seems calculated and self-serving.

          • FreddieMars November 1, 2020 at 4:36 pm #

“What was informative about [Insane Clown President]?”

I take it from that question that you DID read it?

          • FreddieMars November 1, 2020 at 5:04 pm #

As to accusations relating to The eXile & Taibbi’s time in Russia, I’ve read Kathy’s Lally’s piece (2017) and Ames’ refutation.

Taibbi’s public apologies (along with the ‘satire’ defense) clearly won’t save him from the ‘Cancel Culture’ steamroller if it ever takes aim – and the fact that these events were purportedly at least twenty years ago, and the public accusation in Lally’s piece, now three years old, is likewise irrelevant.

          • Night Owl November 1, 2020 at 5:45 pm #

            What was informative about it?

This question is rather simple. Perhaps we will get an answer this time.

          • FreddieMars November 1, 2020 at 7:28 pm #

            So you haven’t read it.

I guess that it hasn’t occurred to the MSM that they’re basically admitting that the Steele Dossier which was the basis for the 3 year fraudulent RussiaGate investigation was fake? I guess that they figure that most people are too ignorant and out-of-it to notice?

It will be eventually OK, as the Democratic Party will be destroyed. However, if Trump wins, the American people will suffer less. The Saker covered this point, pointing out that as far as American power is concerned, the result will be the end of American power in both cases.

The “internal polling” that Trump and Biden are shelling out the really big bucks for tells them exactly what is happening and where.

Which was why Hillary Clinton cancelled the big fireworks show on Election Night in NYC.

This was around 4pm EST that she knew it was over. Which is probably about when the bottles of Chardonnay were being uncorked.

By midnight Hillary was too shit-faced to face her sobbing throngs at The Javits Center so Podesta was sent out to lie.

I will betcha Trump’s and Biden’s campaigns know right now how the election will shake out.

I have it from a good source that LAPD detectives etc. are being told to suit up and hit the patrol cars Tuesday.

Not a good sign for Biden.

  23. Theedrich October 30, 2020 at 1:35 pm #

American elites are fantastically corrupt, rotten to the core. Whether it is the putrid Joe Biden and his four family members, the Democrat Party as a whole, many RINOs, the CIA, the NSA, the FBI, the mainstream media, the entertainment industry, the cyber-whore megacompanies, university presidents and faculties, or Wall Street, the decay of American aristocracy as a whole resembles that of a decomposing corpse left in a guttur and surrounded by rats.

There is virtually no corner of U.S. societal upper echelons which admits the existence of the psychic and spiritual disease now ending this nation. Money and power are the only values. Sanctimonious virtue-signaling is the preferred form of political exhibition. Raucous anti-Whitism is the highest virtue. And the clandestine theft of huge sums of money, along with selling the nation out to foreign adversaries behind a mask of plausible deniability, is the zenith of holiness.

Using this same “plausible deniability,” the Democrat Party and its subversives are now engaging in full-bore crime in the last days of the 2020 presidential election campaign. On Monday, 2020 Oct 26, their operatives stole a flash drive with critical anti-Biden documents from TV commentator Tucker Carlson’s overnight mail being shipped via UPS from New York to Los Angeles. After an “extensive search” — and by coincidence after Carlson had announced the loss on TV —, UPS finally “found” the flash drive, but refused to give any explanation about how or why it had been taken out of its package and later “discovered” on the floor. And in Wisconsin, Dem agents used cyber hacking techniques to steal $2.3 million from the Republican campaign treasury, with Dem responsibility being, of course, plausibly deniable. Never mind Dem moneybags’ (e.g., George Soros’, Michael Bloomberg’s and other plutocrats’) behind-the-scenes support of looters and goons to generate “peaceful” riots in many cities in order to blame the warlike chaos on President Trump. (On Wednesday, Oct 28, police discovered that the Leftist agitators had brought a van full of explosives into the center of Philadelphia.) Or the perversion and theft of “mail-in” ballots plus “ballot harvesting” by sinister crooks working for the Biden crime family. Also noteworthy is that Joe’s crackhead son, Hunter, has for a year been under FBI investigation for money-laundering; but the Bureau (a section of the Dept. of Justice), awaiting the results of the forthcoming election, has mysteriously still not openly charged him with anything.

The fact is, the Dem Left is today nothing more than a criminal syndicate pushing for a state-cartel dictatorship à la Red China by thugs and undercover felons. It is “democratically” supported by myriads of recently imported ThirdWorld parasites.

The narcotics-drugged and TV-hypnotized masses remain largely oblivious to their forthcoming death. They are told to accept the cancer of bribe-ocracy as a paramount good. And with their votes they obey, expecting to cash in on a feeding frenzy off of a dying civilization. It is clear that “democracy” is simply a system for manufacturing popular consent by technologically broadcast lies, ballot fraud and, when those fail, by terror.

Thus it is a karmic twist of fate that this nation is being gutted by a reverse Opium War and an epidemic from a country, China, which has an iron will to dominate, and whose strategy is Unrestricted Warfare, as detailed in a 1999 book by the same name, written by two Communist Chinese colonels. (It may be safely assumed that these colonels were of considerably higher intelligence than the average Coon IQ of 85 which characterizes the Negro base of the Democrat Party in Yankeeland.)

Indeed, the nation is going to get what it really wants: extinction.

For the Democrat Party is simply a Mafia in “moderate” clothing.

Yes, America is a country not a nation. And a country tends to be unstable, much like a smaller version of an empire. All the nations want to go off on their own like organs leaving a the body thru its cavities.

It was a people before anything else. Google the word “nation” and see for yourself. Then google the word country and note the difference.

The idea that America is an idea or proposition is a bad or wrong idea. It’s a people in a land that they carved out through conquest and hard work. Lots of blood, sweat, and tears. You’d give it away to others and call it the “American Dream”. What a nightmare….

It is possible, likely even, that Hunter’s laptop was known by Barr & Trump (without Wray knowing that they knew) during the faux impeachment, but the decision was made to withhold the info because it was not needed to deflect the contemptible impeachment due to the case for it being so ridiculous (plus there were never enough votes in the Senate to convict anyway).

Rudi was already making noises about the Biden’s foreign graft & corruption months ago, but didn’t press the issue. Holding the Biden laptop evidence in reserve shortly before the election seems to have been the strategy, a la Hillary and Podesta’s damning emails. However, they didn’t expect the non-FOX and social media to be so thoroughly in the tank for Biden.

However, the info is now well out there, the MSM and social media have been even more thoroughly discredited, and the Biden clan are in serious legal trouble, whether Joe wins or not.

Still, it’s all just a sideshow. The main attraction is whether the Davoscracy can pull off their asinine “Great Green Reset”™ and grind all of humanity under their heel forever…(only) Billionaire Lives Matter.

“…there they were: the three grand poohbahs of social media, stone-facing the Senate Homeland Security Committee on their zoom screens…”

Also known as See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil (from anyone from the Left).

“‘…Fuck you, you can’t do anything about it’ to the American people.”

This describes EVERYTHING going on in The Indispensable Nation these days. Americans are learning just now much (little) power they have over anything. But be sure to go out and vote! Let your voice be heard AND IGNORED.

“…I think the idea is to provoke Mr. Trump to call out US troops to quell the riots, thereby opening him up to accusations of being a tyrant.”

There are three things you can count on in America. Death, taxes, and a future of Martial Law. The pillars of a Great Modern Society.

Calling out the troops is always the last card in the deck of a failed nation. When one must use the brainless muscle of the State to subdue it’s own subjects… er, citizens. Predicable. And very sad.

    • tucsonspur October 30, 2020 at 6:44 pm #

I say it’s decades of Democratic control if Trump loses and relinquishes the WH. Martial law Under Trump should be imposed.
Democratic perpetraitors must be rounded up and jailed. Some deserve execution.

Of course it won’t happen because we are hollowed out, dried out with no real blood in our veins. We’ve been eviscerated, left with no heart, no spine. It’s wonderful to say ‘make America great again’, but in the end it’s really not worth fighting for is it? Or is it?

Who wants to die for a belief or a principle anymore? Scary to think that it might just be some of those on the Left.

The Union Of States. A higher calling for Lincoln than whether or not the slaves should be emancipated. And still true, although much blood shall be spilled over the matter in coming months, even years. Anarchists within and foreign potentates abroad.

Mavens of strategic certitudes regard Lincoln’s less well known workings to assure North American links with railways and railroad scheduling time zones. Lincoln understood “The Great Tree” in Daniel Chapter 4 v-15 was/is an old Scripture type of America.

Noting row on row of pessimism today, why not look up George Washington’s “Valley Forge Vision” positing 3 great trials for our American Union. People like to denigrate visions, even when they are up to their necks in fulfillment… Call events “coincidence”!

Not mentioned along the JHK dusty path today is most likely increased foreign political meddling in media and at the hands of the plutocrats; Cyber Warfare and downright sabotage and kinetic attacks, initially in the form of “False Flag” activity on a scale to justify hard response… America’s ability to bite back still has deterrent value. This fight may leave no single attacking state intact.

With lower confidence level than previous times, this writer again reminds importance of Famine Hedge, in context of enhanced branch line railway links to breadbasket districts. Railway links were highest assurance of durability of the Union Of States in Abraham Lincoln’s thinking, and absolute necessity through the 100 years following Abe’s assassination.

Plutocrats hearing these things unfiltered by their yes-men might consider their own and families’ safety with regard to adoption of particular agriculture oriented rail lines? American Short Line Regional Railroad Association is the point of contact.

I can see more and more every day the touching desperation of the trumpers. Not terribly bright to begin with, it brings out ever more base noises and grunts that they try to fob off as speech.

Meanwhile their hero idiotically lists ending the pandemic on the very day that cases top a new record.

Our 4-year national nightmare and tragedy is almost over with.

Certainly deep comfort to the 1091 deaths just yesterday. Meanwhile, Vietnam has had 35 TOTAL since this began. That’s a country of 85 million.

Go head and spin that one.

          Whats there to spin?
Vietnam different country different reporting and I am 100% sure they are not paying out extra for reported covid infections and even more for deaths blamed on Covid.

So you still think the US and its Orange ass-clown of a leader has done right by its citizens, right?

Of course the difference is that Vietnam enjoys intelligent and decisive leadership – consequently they have avoided many thousands of deaths – unlike the US and its unspeakably poor excuse for leadership.

I think you may have the wrong board to do this kind of Aunt Sue FB TDS-ing. Granted, I’m sure there at least a few people here that are vehemently pro-Trump, but if you care to actually read a variety of comments before launching into your list of Maddow talking points, you’d find the majority are shoulder-shrug tolerant of Trump at best, merely not warm to the Democrat Party’s obvious policies of projection and discreditation based on little but statements they themselves put out there, in most cases.

Also, everyone knows Trump is a narcissistic blowhard. Including him. That’s why the public liked him when he was merely a businessman/entertainer. People that feel the need to point this out ad nauseum to those who may lean conservative (as if the candidate *ever* directly represents the values of every one of them) is annoying at best.

Please go to infowars if you want people to fight with that will actually want to engage in a back and forth that gives you ample satisfaction.

          Good day, madam.

          I said good day.

Please comment on the use of “run” in this instance.

      • Kim October 31, 2020 at 3:57 am #

        @ Q. Shtik

Actually, Tom was the piper’s son, not the baker’s – and that may explain his antisocial behavior. Nonetheless, the linguistic questions remain.

        Here is a version:

        Tom, Tom, the piper’s son,
        Stole a pig, and away did run;
        The pig was eat
        And Tom was beat,
        And Tom went crying/roaring/howling
        Down the street.

Quite a selection of solecisms to be explained away here. What, in the name of all that is grammatical, got into parents to allow their children ever to be exposed to such atrocious grammar?!

Truly the past is a nightmare that it seems we will never escape.

        • Q. Shtik October 31, 2020 at 2:31 pm #

To the extent that this rhyme was ungrammatical, if at all, at the time of its composition a few hundred years ago in England can probably be chalked up to ‘artistic license.’

If my grammatically pathetic b-i-l, Peter, spoke this rhyme the second line would begin ‘Stoled a pig.’ At some time earlier in his 74 years of life he got it in his head that the past tense of steal was stoled (or stold. Not sure how he would spell it.) Attempts to explain tense to him draw the usual response: “whatever.”

Peter also embarrasses himself when he mentions D’Moynz, Iowa or Chicago, Illanoyz. I think Peter and benr would be great chums, like two peas in a pod. And, of course, you would defend to the death his right to speak like an idiot because, I don’t know, language evolves?

          • benr October 31, 2020 at 4:00 pm #

Tell me Q did you get beat up a lot in school?

Naw never mind we all know that answer.

I would be pals with your b.i.l. so we could make fun of what an ass you are in real life.

      • Kim October 31, 2020 at 4:01 am #

        @ Q-Shtik

Here is a perhaps related rhyme, where the fact that Tom was the piper’s son, and not the baker’s, is a matter of some importance and is established immediately.

Tom, he was a piper’s son,
He learnt to play when he was young,
And all the tune that he could play
        Was ‘over the hills and far away’;
Over the hills and a great way off,
The wind shall blow my top-knot off.

Tom with his pipe made such a noise,
That he pleased both the girls and boys,
They all stopped to hear him play,
‘Over the hills and far away’.

Tom with his pipe did play with such skill
        That those who heard him could never keep still;
As soon as he played they began for to dance,
Even the pigs on their hind legs would after him prance.

As Dolly was milking her cow one day,
        Tom took his pipe and began to play;
So Dolly and the cow danced ‘The Cheshire Round’,
Till the pail was broken and the milk ran on the ground.

He met old Dame Trot with a basket of eggs,
        He used his pipe and she used her legs;
She danced about till the eggs were all broke,
She began for to fret, but he laughed at the joke.

Tom saw a cross fellow was beating an ass,
        Heavy laden with pots, pans, dishes, and glass;
He took out his pipe and he played them a tune,
And the poor donkey’s load was lightened full soon.

Data from the Alabama Department of Public Health now shows 13 of the state’s 2,914 COVID-19 deaths were among people with no underlying health conditions. The age range for those deaths is 53-88 with a median age of 73.

Biden promises to pass the “Equality Act” in his first 100 days.

    But what is it?

Knowing that all legislation does the exact opposite of what is stated in its name, maybe we should ask what rights the “Equality” Act will rip away from some sections of society in order to adavantage others?

    https://www.dailysignal.com/2019/03/14/7-reasons-why-the-equality-act-is-anything-but/

    1. It would penalize Americans who don’t affirm new sexual norms or gender ideology.

Jack Phillips’ case went all the way to the Supreme Court after the Colorado Civil Rights Commission accused the bakery owner of discriminating on the basis of sexual orientation when the self-described cake artist declined to create a custom cake to celebrate a same-sex wedding.

The Supreme Court ruled in favor of Phillips, owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop, but left the law in question, the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act, intact. Until last week, Phillips was in court again defending himself against the same agency under the same law.

The day after the Supreme Court ruled in Phillips’ case, Autumn Scardina, a lawyer who identifies as transgender, requested that he create a “gender transition cake.” After Phillips declined, the state Civil Rights Commission found probable cause under the law that the baker had discriminated on the basis of gender identity.

Thankfully, the commission last week dropped the case, and Phillips agreed to drop his own lawsuit accusing the state agency of harassing him for his Christian beliefs.

Phillips is just one of many Americans who have lost income because of their belief that marriage is between one man and one woman. Others cases involve florists, bakers, photographers, wedding venue owners, videographers, web designers, calligraphers, and public servants.

These cases are just the beginning. The same policies used to silence disagreement over marriage can be used to silence disagreement over the biological reality of sex.

    2. It would compel speech.

Virginia high school teacher Peter Vlaming lost his job for something he did not say.

A county school board voted unanimously to fire the veteran teacher over the objections of his students after he refused to comply with administrators’ orders to use masculine pronouns in referring to a female student who identifies as transgender.

Vlaming did his best to accommodate the student without violating his religious belief that God created human beings male and female, using the student’s new name and simply refraining from using pronouns altogether.

Unfortunately, the school still considered this a violation of its anti-discrimination policy.

Incidents like these would increase under federal policy proposed in the Equality Act. Both federal and private employers could face costly lawsuits if they fail to implement strict preferred pronoun policies. Employees could be disciplined if they fail to comply, regardless of their scientific or moral objections.

    3. It could shut down charities.

Foster care and adoption agencies, drug rehabilitation centers, and homeless centers already face challenges under state and local policies on sexual orientation and gender identity.

In Philadelphia, just days after the city put out an urgent call for 300 additional families to foster children, the city halted child placements by Catholic Social Services because of the organization’s belief that every child deserves both a mother and a father.

Although same-sex couples have the opportunity to foster children through the state or every other agency in Philadelphia, the city canceled its contract with Catholic Social Services. The agency’s approved foster homes remain available while children languish on the waiting list.

A federal sexual orientation and gender identity law would make this situation a national phenomenon, which would spell disaster for the 437,500 children in foster care nationwide.

Other charities would be affected, too.

In Anchorage, Alaska, a biological male born Timothy Paul Coyle goes by the name of Samantha Amanda Coyle. On two occasions, Coyle tried to gain access to the city’s Downtown Soup Kitchen Hope Center, a shelter for homeless, abused, and trafficked women.

In one attempt, authorities said, Coyle was inebriated and had gotten into a fight with a staffer at another shelter, so Hope Center staff paid Coyle’s fare to the emergency room to receive medical attention. Coyle sued the center for “gender identity discrimination.”

A federal sexual orientation and gender identity law could force any social service organization to open up private facilities—including single-sex bathrooms, showers, and sleeping areas—to members of the opposite sex.

    4. It would allow more biological males to defeat girls in sports.

Two biological males who identify and compete as women easily defeated all of their female competitors in an event at the Connecticut State Track Championships. Transgender athlete Terry Miller broke the state record in the girls’100-meter dash. Andraya Yearwood, also transgender, took second place.

Selina Soule, a female runner, not only lost to the biological males in the championships but also lost out on valuable opportunities to be seen by college coaches and chosen for scholarships.

Soule said about the 100-meter event: “We all know the outcome of the race before it even starts; it’s demoralizing.”

A federal sexual orientation and gender identity law would defeat the purpose of Title IX of the Civil Rights Act, which is supposed to guarantee women equal educational and athletic opportunities.

Under radical gender identity policies, female athletes have sustained gruesome injuries at the hands of male competitors. In high school wrestling, female athletes have forfeited rather than compete against transgender athletes on testosterone.

A federal law could set girls’ and women’s sports back permanently at every level.

    5. It could be used to coerce medical professionals.

Under state sexual orientation and gender identity laws, individuals who identify as transgender have sued Catholic hospitals in California and New Jersey for declining to perform hysterectomies on otherwise healthy women who wanted to pursue gender transition.

If these lawsuits succeed, medical professionals would be pressured to treat patients according to ideology rather than their best medical judgment.

The Obama administration tried to coerce medical professionals into offering transition-affirming therapies through a regulation in the Affordable Care Act, popularly known as Obamacare.

That move was stopped in the 11th hour by a federal judge. However, that could all be set back in motion if a national law imposes a nationwide health care mandate regarding gender identity.

    6. It could lead to more parents losing custody of their children.

The politicization of medicine according to gender ideology will create more conflicts among parents, doctors, and the government. A federal sexual orientation and gender identity law would jeopardize parental rights nationwide.

In fact, the current issue of the American Journal of Bioethics includes an article arguing that the state should overrule the parents of transgender children who do not consent to give them puberty-blocking drugs.

This has already happened. In Ohio, a judge removed a biological girl from her parents’ custody after they declined to help her “transition” to male with testosterone supplements.

After the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital’s Transgender Health Clinic recommended these treatments for the girl’s gender dysphoria, the parents wanted to pursue counseling instead. Then the county’s family services agency charged the parents with abuse and neglect, and the judge terminated their custody.

Similar cases are proceeding through the courts with children as young as 6 years old.

Meanwhile, studies show that 80 to 95 percent of children no longer experience gender dysphoria after puberty. Politicizing medicine could have serious consequences for children who are exposed to the unnecessary medical risks of drastic therapies.

A federal sexual orientation and gender identity law would make these cases more common.

    7. It would enable sexual assault.

A complaint under investigation by federal education officials alleges that a boy who identifies as “gender fluid” at Oakhurst Elementary School in Decatur, Georgia, sexually assaulted Pascha Thomas’ 5-year-old daughter in a girls’ restroom. The boy had access to the girls’ restroom because of Decatur City Schools’ transgender restroom policy.

School authorities refused to change the policy even after Thomas reported the assault. Eventually, she decided to remove her daughter from school for the girl’s emotional well-being and physical safety.

A federal sexual orientation and gender identity law would give male sexual predators who self-identify as females access to private facilities, increasing the likelihood of these tragic incidents.

It could also make victims less likely to report sexual misconduct and police less likely to get involved, for fear of being accused of discrimination.

The proposed Equality Act could impose a nationwide bathroom policy that would leave women and children in particular vulnerable to predators. It actually would promote inequality by elevating the ideologies of special-interest groups to the level of protected groups in civil rights law.

    ***

The Equality Act defies the purpose of anti-discrimination laws. The original Civil Rights Act was enacted to protect African-Americans from being denied access to material goods and services.

The Equality Act, by contrast, would be used as a sword to attack people and force them to adopt new ideologies about human sexuality.

This extreme and dangerous legislation would create unprecedented harms to businesses, charities, medical professionals, women and children, and entire families.

The writing is on the wall: The Equality Act is anything but.

More and more troubled kids will begin to transition if this goes through. They may not find peace by so doing, but they will get revenge on the their perceived tormentors, namely everyone not in transition or transitioned.

Here is the open letter to President Trump of Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, former papal nuncio to the United States, in support of the President’s efforts to resist the evils of the globalism and its minions, the Deep State.

This letter is magnificent, inspiring, and galvanizing. Sit down somewhere and read it all from beginning to end.

It is wonderful to see highly placed servants of the Church once again speaking for humanity and freedom over greed, soul sickness, social darkness, and global slavery.

    https://www.churchmilitant.com/news/article/open-letter-to-trump-resist-the-great-reset

    ……………………….

    A sample:

“Until a few months ago, it was easy to smear as “conspiracy theorists” those who denounced these terrible plans, which we now see being carried out down to the smallest detail. No one, up until last February, would ever have thought that, in all of our cities, citizens would be arrested simply for wanting to walk down the street, to breathe, to want to keep their business open, to want to go to church on Sunday. Yet now it is happening all over the world, even in picture-postcard Italy that many Americans consider to be a small enchanted country, with its ancient monuments, its churches, its charming cities, its characteristic villages. And while the politicians are barricaded inside their palaces promulgating decrees like Persian satraps, businesses are failing, shops are closing, and people are prevented from living, traveling, working and praying. The disastrous psychological consequences of this operation are already being seen, beginning with the suicides of desperate entrepreneurs and of our children, segregated from friends and classmates, told to follow their classes while sitting at home alone in front of a computer.

In Sacred Scripture, St. Paul speaks to us of “the one who opposes” the manifestation of the mystery of iniquity, the kathèkon (2 Thessalonians 2:6–7). In the religious sphere, this obstacle to evil is the Church, and in particular the papacy; in the political sphere, it is those who impede the establishment of the New World Order.

As is now clear, the one who occupies the Chair of Peter has betrayed his role from the very beginning in order to defend and promote the globalist ideology, supporting the agenda of the deep Church, who chose him from its ranks.”
    ……………………..

    Must read.

The intense agitprop against the public by the MSM has been pretty successful…what the NYT, Washpo, MSNBC, CNN, NPR.. what I’d collectively term as the State Media in the US.

Look at these comments about the “terrible” last 4 years.

Any other time in US history, with historically low unemployment, and 4 years of largely world peace– would be seen as good days.
Issues like fair, bilateral trade with China, US holding NATO partners to contractual funding agreements, and the security of the US southern border– none of these are controversial subjects.

The federal response to the CCP virus has been appropriate. 99% of the ppl who get it will survive.

How many people will die of influenza this season? 60,000?

So, should states continue a lockdown because of the flu?

This joint really is F’n crazy.

And now I really do understand the reason WHY our “republic” is a train wreck.

The men who fought and SURVIVED the HELL of a revolutionary war understood all too well what the price for freedom they and their fallen comrads had PAID to be FREE. Naturally, they were inclined thereafter to give much less license to the whores and traitors who began to populate their new “government”. But within a generation, as the survivors went to their graves, that intensity was gone.

Yes, we’ve had quite a few wars since then, but only 1812 matched the threat of 1776. Ever since, our MANUFACTURED wars have been sold to us by the SAME sorts of THUGS who today have sold their souls and their country to the highest bidders.

So you’ll excuse me if I don’t jump on the TRUMP TRAIN, or the BIDEN TRAIN WRECK, because I KNOW no matter which of these frauds I vote for, the entire government is populated with traitors of the sort who would have sold this joint out before the first shot was fired in Concord.

Do you remember “Rock the Vote”?

South Africa is an interesting country. A lot of South Africans washed up in Australia after the ANC and the black majority took power in South Africa. The tragic flaw of white people in Africa seems to be that the white colonizers were addicted to black labor? There was a German general (Van Lotha?) who conceived a brilliant military strategy to basically push the local Africans who were in rebellion into a desert in Southwest Africa (Namibia) and then seal off all of the wells and watering holes, which was very effective. But he was eventually sacked because this method deprived the colony of black labor and hurt profits. The White People always need those profits, and they need someone to do the dirty dishes and to clean the toilets. Human beings are inherently status conscious, and they associate status with labor. There was that black bloke in the Atlanta airport who looked embarrassed and ashamed to be seen shining the shoes of that white gentleman. Do you remember that episode of “Breaking Bad” when Walter White had to wash cars at the car wash and his students laughed and mocked him when they saw “Mr. White” washing his student’s car?

I wonder what percentage of the US population would be qualified to vote according to the Cape’s “Civilization Standard” as the litmus for awarding the franchise? 15% – 20%? Most Americans are very ignorant. As US Comedian George Carlin once described most Americans: “Dumber than a second coat of paint.”

“ Even the Cape’s precious tradition of freedom – its colour-blind, non-racial franchise – was under threat. Civilization, not race, had always been the test of fitness for voters. At present, a seventh of the men deemed fit to vote were Africans; and an educated African middle class was emerging, respectfully claiming a share of power and privilege. Under the new constitution their voting rights could be snuffed out by a simple two-thirds majority of both Houses of the Union Parliament.”

That’s why the organization is called “Rock the Vote”. That’s why the American electoral process is basically a Tic Tok masturbation video.

A very simple thing it is being judged by the company you keep, by who you do business with, by who you accept money from. Why would Crazy Joe and Boy Biden expect to be judged by any other standard than what ordinary people live by? Why would the mainstream press judge them by any other standard? Oh, stupid me, it’s because the Bidens are too big for that. And it’s because corporate interests own this same press and it’s because corporate interests are deep inside Chinese pockets. And it’s because to the Clintons, to the Bidens, to the clique of billionaires that call the shots, the only thing that matters is their money, their fortune, and they’re not too fussy about small things like how they come about it. And heaven forfend that anyone have interests of their own like not living one paycheck from destitution. That after all is the natural lot of Deplorables and native Indians and Latinos and Blacks

    Gentle reader;

Well, the Oregon voter now has the option to allow all forms of hard drugs, in small amounts, to be decriminalized…crack, heroin codine…all of them.

I voted against the measure. Why?

The law was a half-measure, and would solve nothing.

I want full legalization of all drugs. I want the state to subsidize the cost to only pennies per dose. I WANT DRUGS DISPENSED IN VENDING MACHINES. I want all those with the lack of discipline, intelligence, judgment, or with overwhelming urges to dependency to indulge freely…and die.

The Oregon law overlays the legalization with expensive and futile “treatment programs”…another boondoggle. Society can ill afford another complete bureaucracy at taxpayer expense.

With the proliferation of internet social media, perhaps those dying can provide valuable object lessons regarding the use of drugs. It could be a win-win.

This is a Realpolitik solution to drug use in our country. The agony will, initially be great, the tumbrels will roll, the Cartels will leave the country.

    Sorry.

    • Pucker October 31, 2020 at 12:44 pm #

      • beantownbill. October 31, 2020 at 1:07 pm #

I totally agree with EF. As for your question, people who have a tendency toward addiction will become addicts no matter the amount of internet contact. The tendency towards substance abuse is mostly from brain wiring. As an example, I grew up in a miserable household, and if anyone was fated to be a substance abuser, it was me. But I never did – I just didn’t have the compelling urge.

Consider the lessening of the rate of HIV, when 25 cents a spoon heroin with a complementary needle is available on every street corner.

Consider the impact on narcotics-driven prostitution…prices will “rise to market:….

I agree , with or without the mocking sarcasm.

A great deal of my ideological thought basically comes down to the NRA’s contention that gun control will at best only serve as a wet noddle to criminals , at worst , it will serve as a gift from heaven to criminals.
The only people who will be effected by gun control are the people who weren’t a problem to begin with.

The idea , it seems to me , has application far beyond just guns , and so I apply it.

Another way of putting , for example , is that it is the Communist who thinks that micromanaging peoples lives is a bright idea.

        Kesa,
I was not being sarcastic. I have resisted, for many years, the concept that the powers that be are not interested in solutions to the ills of society. It is a very cynical view of governance…one which, if accepted, calls everything you know into question, and can only lead one to become ungovernable, and hence, an outlaw.

Having said that, I do not, as I would have in the recent past, reject that concept out of hand…but it is still hard to accept.

In the New Republic, all women are requested to be married by age 21. Failing that, they or their fathers will pay an annual tax which increases per year until they are married.

Hardship cases (extreme ugliness, retardation, etc) will be considered case by case. In the case of ugliness, perhaps men can be induced to “pop the question” in some of these cases with tax breaks as an incentive.

The Final Order will be both Severe and Merciful, but its Severity will exceed its Mercy. The reverse of God in other words. Why? Because this is Satan’s Kingdom and we are at War. The Church Militant. Those in Purgatory are the Church Suffering. Those in Heaven, the Church Triumphant.

    Happy Halloween….

You know, it’s really interesting because if we wanted a more authentic Halloween we would need to figure out the day in which the exact midpoint between the autumn equinox and winter solstice occurs. That day is Samhain, the 4th cross-quarter day of the Celtic year, on which today’s Halloween is based. Technically it is probably closer to November 6th or 7th than October 31st. Allegedly on that day the time between dusk and midnight is liminal and the realms of the living and the dead become one. It’s the death night of the old year, the end of the harvest, and the beginning of the dark night of winter. It’s not exactly clear how the ancient holiday was celebrated and many of the current traditions have more recent origins. Many people believe the ancients would would burn sacrifices, possibly a portion of the harvest and livestock, in bonfires to appease the gods. And they likely did leave gifts outside of their homes to appease the wandering spirits and demons on that night.

    • Yohannon October 31, 2020 at 6:03 pm #

I just read something horrible about this culture, or at least the Irish part of it. In County Cavan there was a place called Magh Slecht, the Plain of Adoration. There on Halloween, the Irish would sacrifice a THIRD of their newborn children every year to insure the continuation of good harvests. This in addition to their Wicker Man holocaust of criminals held some other time.

A lot of people admire them or are fascinated by them as I am myself. But this throws cold water on the whole thing. Maybe the Old Germans had a better way as far as pagans go. And of course Christianity was a vast improvement over this. But of course, anything would be. This makes them worse than the Aztecs and as bad as the Moloch worshipers of the Old Middle East.

The God they worshiped was was called Cromm. I’ve never seen an image of him. Perhaps nothing survives. Conan the Barbarian (created by Robert E Howard) worshiped a “Crom” too. It is said St Patrick himself wielded the hammer that destroyed the golden idol.

      • KesaAnna October 31, 2020 at 7:55 pm #

As I understand it , in laymans terms , the meaning of the crucifixion was that a sacrifice was necessary , but even a human sacrifice wouldn’t do.

So God had to become man , and serve as the sacrifice .

It sounds utterly bizarre and extreme.

        — IF you assume modern ways and modern thought are somehow different , or moderate.

It looks to me though like nuclear weapons are a genocidal / suicidal weapon if ever there was one.

The sacrifice implied makes Aztecs look like panty – waist milquetoasts.

        But absolutely necessary ,

because we absolutely cannot have a war , absolutely cannot risk losing , because , thanks to the Nuremberg trials , ” Justice ” now means that sergeants and corporals will be hanged.

Need I point out that when even sergeants and corporals will be hanged , the proposition , ” Go ahead and kill EVERYBODY ” at least appears reasonable and sober ?

It’s presumably some sort of improvement that this staggeringly huge and methodically comprehensive sacrifice has no religious justification.

Good point. Things are rationalized and getting bloodier. Rationality is becoming irrational. The mind is just a machine that grinds and grinds whatever is given to it. How to turn the damned thing off is the question, as the Sorcerer’s apprentice learned. Only the heart is really alive….

      • SoftStarLight November 1, 2020 at 11:50 am #

Wow I hadn’t heard about that before but it does sound very awful. I wouldn’t be surprised though given how common that practice has been in one form or another. I believe the Celts had a closer connection to fire culturally than the Germans. It seems like many historians speculate that the Celts original homeland was on the steppes north of the Black Sea in the area that we call Ukraine today. And that the Celts themselves were related to the Scythians. The Scythians worshipped fire and performed rituals that included human sacrifice. Interestingly enough, Conan the Barbarian was a Cimmerian according to the story. The Cimmerian people in real life were also people from the steppes like and related to the Scythians.

        • Yohannon November 1, 2020 at 1:01 pm #

Robert E Howard (the creator of Conan) knew much about all of this. Some say the early Celts were more warlike than the Germans and ruled over them in some places, the proof being Celtic place names in German lands. One tribe was almost equally German and Celtic in nature – more proof. But the Germans gained their freedom and became stronger. The Celts were too close to the Greeks and Romans and became soft and dependent on them. Also their obsession with this weird savage religion may have weakened them as well.

Interesting point about the fire. It was prominent. I would have liked some of this, but not the human sacrifices. As I say to BRH below, not everybody believes the 1/3 of the children story. It does seem quite a bit too much. I’d never heard of it before yesterday. The book I’m reading seems good, but the authors may be giving too much credence to later monastic texts.

” The FBI seems to be in thrall to the dark evil spirit of J. Edgar Hoover. ”

” The FBI is no longer a legitimate law enforcement organization. ”

The FBI was practically the creation of , and for almost 50 years was under the thumb of , a fellow who was probably homosexual.

    ( Yes , I said , ” probably ” , because , no , I can’t prove it. )

This was at a time when homosexuality was a felony in many jurisdictions , or might as well have been .

That is , even if it were ostensibly a misdemeanor , you didn’t really want to be wearing the pink triangle during your stay in jail.

Prison rapes have long been a font of old jokes , never the less , homosexuality is stigmatized in prison and jail culture.

Don’t ask me how that makes any sense. I’m merely reporting what was , and is.

Anyway , the point is that the FBI always was a political police , a political weapon ,

like the Gestapo or Kempei Tai , like the NKVD or Stasi.

Whether that adds up to a legitimate law enforcement agency ,

    like the homosexual thing ,

It sucks , by the sound of it.

    …..

But then a romantic love that all too commonly is turned on , or turned off , like a light switch ,

And the Las Vegas casino odds are that two out of three children born into single parent households will most likely die as adults in poverty ,

or that the available number of rent – paying jobs is probably roughly the same number as in 1960 , except that the labor pool has doubled ( that is , women , who are half the population , entered into this competition for rent – paying jobs ) is probably bad news for large numbers of both sexes ,

I’m not so sure it is as bad as it sounds.

The War That Was Lost, Voxday, October 31

Immigration, as the great Israeli military historian Martin van Creveld has shown, is war. And that war, not WWI, WWII, or the Cold War, was the true existential war that America faced, and lost, as demonstrated by this selection from The Old World in the New: The Significance of Past and Present Immigration to the American People, published in 1914 by sociologist E.A. Ross:

If you should ask an Englishman whether the tone of political life in his country would remain unaffected by the admission to the electorate of a couple of million Cypriotes, Vlachs, and Bessarabians after five years’ residence, he would take you for a madman. Suggest to the German that the plane of political intelligence in reading and thinking Germany would not be lowered by the access to the ballot-box of multitudes of Serbs, Georgians, and Druses of Lebanon, and he will consign you to bedlam. Assure the son of Norway that the vote of the Persian or Yemenite, of sixty months’ residence in Norway, will be as often wise and right as his own, and he will be insulted. It is only we Americans who assume that the voting of the Middle Atlantic States, with their million of naturalized citizens, or of the East North Central States, with their million, is as sane, discriminating, and forward-looking as it would be without them.

The Italian historian and sociologist Ferrero, after reviewing our immigration policy, concludes that the Americans, far from being “practical,” are really the mystics of the modern world. He says: “To confer citizenship each year upon great numbers of men born and educated in foreign countries—men who come with ideas and sympathies totally out of spirit with the diverse conditions in the new country; to grant them political rights they do not want, and of which they have never thought; to compel them to declare allegiance to a political constitution which they often do not understand; to try to transform subjects of old European monarchies into free citizens of young American republics over night—is not all this to do violence to common sense?”

As I sought to show, near the end of my initial chapter, the conditions of settlement of this country caused those of uncommon energy and venturesomeness to outmultiply the rest of the population. Thus came into existence the pioneering breed; and this breed increased until it is safe to estimate that fully half of white Americans with native grandparents have one or more pioneers among their ancestors. Whatever valuable race traits distinguish the American people from the parent European stocks are due to the efflorescence of this breed. Without it there would have been little in the performance of our people to arrest the attention of the world. Now we confront the melancholy spectacle of this pioneer breed being swamped and submerged by an overwhelming tide of latecomers from the old-world hive. In Atlanta still seven out of eight white men had American parents; in Nashville and Richmond, four out of five; in Kansas City, two out of three; and in Los Angeles, one out of two; but in Detroit, Cleveland, and Paterson one man out of five had American parents; in Chicago and New York, one out of six; in Milwaukee, one out of seven; and in Fall River, one out of nine. Certainly never since the colonial era have the foreign-born and their children formed so large a proportion of the American people as at the present moment. I scanned 368 persons as they passed me in Union Square, New York, at a time when the garment-workers of the Fifth Avenue lofts were returning to their homes. Only thirty-eight of these passers-by had the type of face one would find at a county fair in the West or South.

In the six or seven hundred thousand strangers that yearly join themselves to us for good and all, there are to be found, of course, every talent and every beauty. Out of the steerage come persons as fine and noble as any who have trodden American soil. Any adverse characterization of an immigrant stream implies, then, only that the trait is relatively frequent, not that it is universal.

In this sense it is fair to say that the blood now being injected into the veins of our people is “sub-common.” To one accustomed to the aspect of the normal American population, the Caliban type shows up with a frequency that is startling. Observe immigrants not as they come travel-wan up the gang-plank, nor as they issue toil-begrimed from pit’s mouth or mill gate, but in their gatherings, washed, combed, and in their Sunday best. You are struck by the fact that from ten to twenty per cent. are hirsute, low-browed, big-faced persons of obviously low mentality. Not that they suggest evil. They simply look out of place in black clothes and stiff collar, since clearly they belong in skins, in wattled huts at the close of the Great Ice Age. These oxlike men are descendants of those who always stayed behind. Those in whom the soul burns with the dull, smoky flame of the pine-knot stuck to the soil, and are now thick in the sluiceways of immigration. Those in whom it burns with a clear, luminous flame have been attracted to the cities of the home land and, having prospects, have no motive to submit themselves to the hardships of the steerage.

To the practised eye, the physiognomy of certain groups unmistakably proclaims inferiority of type. I have seen gatherings of the foreign-born in which narrow and sloping foreheads were the rule. The shortness and smallness of the crania were very noticeable. There was much facial asymmetry. Among the women, beauty, aside from the fleeting, epidermal bloom of girlhood, was quite lacking. In every face there was something wrong—lips thick, mouth coarse, upper lip too long, cheek-bones too high, chin poorly formed, the bridge of the nose hollowed, the base of the nose tilted, or else the whole face prognathous. There were so many sugar-loaf heads, moon-faces, slit mouths, lantern-jaws, and goose-bill noses that one might imagine a malicious jinn had amused himself by casting human beings in a set of skew-molds discarded by the Creator.

Our captains of industry give a crowbar to the immigrant with a number nine face on a number six head, make a dividend out of him, and imagine that is the end of the matter. They overlook that this man will beget children in his image—two or three times as many as the American—and that these children will in turn beget children. They chuckle at having opened an inexhaustible store of cheap tools and, lo! the American people is being altered for all time by these tools. Once before, captains of industry took a hand in making this people. Colonial planters imported Africans to hoe in the sun, to “develop” the tobacco, indigo, and rice plantations. Then, as now, business-minded men met with contempt the protests of a few idealists against their way of “building up the country.”

Those promoters of prosperity are dust, but they bequeathed a situation which in four years wiped out more wealth than two hundred years of slavery had built up, and which presents to-day the one unsolvable problem in this country. Without likening immigrants to negroes, one may point out how the latter-day employer resembles the old-time planter in his blindness to the effects of his labor policy upon the blood of the nation.

(Vox) If America is to leave behind any historical legacy for the ages, it is this. First, pick your own damn cotton. Second, always sink the ships. Third, never let business-minded men set national policy, because for all their pragmatism, they are totally incapable of seeing anything beyond tomorrow’s pocketbook.

Seldom has a Cassandra foreseen coming catastrophe more clearly. It is small, though rather cold, comfort to know that the die was cast long before most of us were even born. Even so, Ross’s closing paragraph is a haunting one.

“The Roman world was laughing when it died.” Any couple or any people that does not feel it has anything to transmit to its children may well reason in such fashion. A couple may reflect, “It is simpler, speedier, and cheaper for us to adopt orphans than to produce children of our own.” A nation may reason, “Why burden ourselves with the rearing of children? Let them perish unborn in the womb of time. The immigrants will keep up the population.” A people that has no more respect for its ancestors and no more pride of race than this deserves the extinction that surely awaits it.

O’Hannon: Thank you Vox and Professor Ross. H.P Lovecraft spoke in a similar fashion a bit later. If only they had listened! Truly, Cromm will drink deep soon and plain of Magh Slecht will extend from the Danube to the Pacific Coast of America. Think of the wonderful harvests to come! The bodies at Waterloo were rendered into fertilizer. Science! Thus the mystical and the material are becoming one and the same. Somewhere Teilhard de Chardin is gloating….

Science always was intertwined with the mystical, Janos. First came philosophy, then science. Read the classical philosophers and tell me there’s no mysticism. Philosophy is the mother of science; then science grew up and outshined its mother.

As the old alchemists said, things must be properly separated before they can be properly combined. A little learning takes one away from God, but much learning leads one back. Ignorant faith becomes scepticicism and then, hopefully, a mature faith that doubts doubt itself.

George Orwell famously said that “The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history.”

    Thus we have the following:

    https://www.thesun.co.uk/tv/13065809/channel-5-race-row-black-actress-play-anne-boleyn/

CHANNEL 5 has sparked a race row after casting black actress Jodie Turner-Smith as Tudor queen Anne Boleyn in a new period drama. The Queen & Slim star will play the second wife of King Henry VIII in the three-part psychological drama, Variety revealed.

And I look forward to soon seeing Ben Affleck as Shaka Zulu.

I seem to remember people once complained – and fair enough too – about Ben Kingsley as Gandhi and about various white actors of the 1930s playing Charlie Chan – although that is more understandable as California at the time was not swimming in suitable Chinese actors.

But of course, the goals here are very, very different:

    1) to demoralize whites

    2) to insult and humiliate whites

    3) to show that whites are now too weak to defend themselves and can be easily pushed aside, even in such an absurd way as this

    4) to inculcate the idea that whites are in no way a necessary or essential part of British history

    5) to inculcate in non-whites in Britain an idea of imposing their supremacy over whites

    6) to destroy the connections of Britains to their historic memory

    7) to destroy Britain as a force still able to assert itself as having an independent future outside of globalism

Oh, but that’s all just a conspiracy theory.

And Kingsley is half Indian, yet still it was not enough for them in spite of that and lots of makeup work that made him look pretty close to Gandhi.

I scratch my head often over the ice age, AGW argument.

I try to envisualize what it would take to go into another ice age. Especially when ice cores show that the changeovers happen in a hundred years or so. BRH lives in Connecticut, the ice sheet was estimated to be 2000 ft. To a mile thick it the height of the ice age.

Think about that! We complain a bout a few feet of snow over a winter. What kind of a change is required to make an ice sheet. Or melt one. Is it going to get colder during the summer to avoid melting. Is it going to get warmer in the winter to allow more snowfall. And wow, how much more snow to avoid melting over during the summer. To me, it seems that the Earth almost has to have a reset, change it’s orbit, or its axis to remove seasons or the sun has to really cool off. If it is the latter, we better start burning lots of more stuff to get those CO2 levels up to trap more of the declining solar output.

My point is obvious. We just do not know what is going on. Observing the weather shows such short term volatility that it is difficult to derive any conclusions.

Long term indicators show warming. Ice melting everywhere, the average wind speeds going up, average temps going up, sea level rising, but just a little. Surfs geo g more heat input, therefore more intensity, higher wind speed, more storm surge, diving further north and south. So maybe they are doing their job, blowing off more heat sucking it up into space. Just a shame for anyone in their way.

I have opined in the past that IMHO the real threat is when the poles lose their ice caps. With out the air conditioners on both ends, what will offset the increased heat at the equator. Again, no one comments on this, no one knows what todo about it, everyone just sits on their haunches and watches and waits.

The political process will do nothing about it. Their job is to ignore everything with no solution to it, and convince everyone about the goodness of their plans, to get elected, then get away with doing nothing, because their is no solution. Just like Covid. I actually laugh out loud at Biden talking about his day one plan against Covid that does nothing to address Covid. Listen to the ads, they are a joke to anyone with an ounce of sense. But there is the problem.

Anyway, AGW, over and over, is shown there is no solution, no GND, issues causing the CO2 build up have no reasonable solution. The solutions are people must die, less people need to drive cars, or use electricity, or eat, or use plastics. Ain’t gonna happen, short term, politically. Could be our current very obvious discord stems from people starting to realize this fact, that the government has no possible solutions and it is time to fight for each other’s share of the pie while the others die out. Nasty thought but is it real?

The really scary part is that Peak oil makes the situation moot. In fifty years, the fossil fuels option will disappear and eight billion people on the planet are in big trouble.

Sorry, SSL, I do not believe the future has any rosy overtones at all. The Earth is about to become a battleground. The deniers are going to die. I will be gone before the real impacts hit, but I am afraid for who tries to come behind. The Boomers are
Eating a world that will be much larger and more dangerous than the one we were given. Through no fault of our own, the trends have been developing for an entire Turning.

Well, given the 30-year-or-so lag between the addition of CO2 to the atmosphere and its manifestation in global atmospheric temperatures, anything that happens in your own lifetime or mine is already baked in. A true debt left to our children and grandchildren. But, as you say (and as Mr K has written many times), it’s not looking like anything can or will be done about it. So I guess we’ll just have to live with it, along with the results for food production and all the rest.

John, I agree with you that many bad things are ahead but I don’t agree that it means that all things are doom and gloom. IMO from all of the sources I read on the matter I agree with Brh that an ice age is upon us. Now whether or not it is a true 100,000 year ice age or a hundred year Little Ice Age I dunno. But either way I do believe that Earth overall is actually cooling. But of course its a trend and there are areas that are staying close to the mean or warming too. Dramatic global climate changes can occur very rapidly too. Because the Western world has been so insane with AGW theories and policies for so long one thing is certain. We are not prepared at all for the coming cold and the humongous increase in earthquakes, volcanoes, and tsunamis that go along with the ice.

I think NYC is finished anyway, RIP. Daily bloodshed and assaults on the elderly in the streets continue unimpeded, and looting of high end shops in Manhattan is an everyday occurence. There is no coming back from what plagues NYC now.

Phew! Did you see the looting in Philly? It was epic! Homey embarked on an impromptu shopping spree in that city that dwarfed even the ones last summer in Chicago and Minneapolis; per usual, ATMs and sneaker stores were hit the hardest, with Pharmacies right up there too. Needless to say, at this very moment hundreds, maybe thousands of distinguished young Community Members are running around the City of Brotherly Love sporting new Nikes and Addisas’s; oddly enough, Philly’s Mayor and City Council seem to be Ok with it, taking the opportunity instead to criticize their own police force. Go figure?

It’s a sacrifice to the Dark God. NYC is now Magh Slecht.

Blacks have never had a Civilization all their own. What they had, they largely got from the Muslim Arabs after their conversion. They have never really assimilated to our civilization, and they obviously don’t care about it. Letting their people destroy their own city may satisfy their need for revenge. Or equally, it may be just a complete lack of judgement, an assumption that Whitey will just rebuild if for them. Or some bizarre mixture of both.

It must be said though that so far their actions have worked and have done so for generations. Every time they riot they get more. Not only loot, but rebuilding and beyond that, more concessions and gibs. Some places are never rebuilt, but on balance, they’ve gotten far more than they’ve lost. It can’t continue of course.

Talked to some people last night. They say that the Pagan Irish never slaughtered their children and it was in fact a Christian smear against them invented and passed down by the monks. The monks preserved the old learning and loved their people, but couldn’t resist slandering the religion.

It can’t continue of course. – Yohannon

          ===========

The other day someone suggested that Yohannon was Janos/Sredni returned from banishment. I disagreed and my opinion was based on the fact that Vlad/Janos/Sredni never used a one-word screen name before. Also, because his new two-word screen names always had some arcane connection to his own set of beliefs. A google search on ‘Yohannon’ has not revealed any connection, unless I missed it.

Now, however, this newly arrived commenter is beginning to show the old Janos type traits, one of them being use of the words of course. A second being the horror of white-black racial mixing and a third being the pompous professorial wording of some comments. Therefore I am becoming a believer that Yo is Sredni.

“an assumption that Whitey will just rebuild it for them.”

Indeed, not only is that the assumption, it is the demand.

In Philly, NYC, Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, and a dozen other burned out, looted cities, the Mayors, City Councils, ‘Community Leaders’ and media honchos expect owners, investors and proprietors of destroyed businesses to take their losses with good will, in the spirit of revolution, file an insurance claim, then with a smile on their face and a song in their heart, simply reopen like nothing ever happened.

Well, from what I’ve observed in Hartford and Waterbury, I’m here to tell you it ain’t gonna work that way; businesses that have been looted and burned will stay looted and burned, forever.

    Early Treatment for COVID-19

The political hysteria in the United States surrounding COVID-19 has taken away critical focus on the “early treatment” phase of this disease, and will go down in US medical history as an incredible blunder. Imagine not treating patients at home with proven prescription medications but instead forcing them to wait until they are sick enough to be admitted to a hospital for real medications.

While the US population, politicians and the medical profession argue about masks, social distancing, testing, shutdowns and vaccines, several other countries, notably India, have focused on distributing “Home Treatments Kits” to their populations. These kits include proven drugs like Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin as well as over the counter meds like Zinc, Vitamin D3, Vitamin C, Aspirin, etc. which dramatically reduce the severity, length of recovery, as well as the mortality rate of COVID-19.

The governments of these countries understand the importance of focusing on a medical protocol for their entire population at the onset of COVID-19 so patients don’t end up in a hospital fighting for their lives. These countries are not bogged down in political battles over COVID-19 like we are in America.

If your doctor doesn’t agree with using Hydroxychloroquine, then find another doctor or use the MEDICI phone app to speak with an on-line doctor immediately. These doctors will take a brief medical history, then prescribe Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin as well as explain which over the counter meds to take when needed.

Your MEDICI on-line doctor is available 24/7 and can provide ongoing support should you come down with COVID-19. Everyone should have a “Home Treatment Kit for COVID-19” on hand and ready to use BEFORE they come down with COVID-19.

Hydroxychloroquine has been used to treat malaria successfully for decades with minimal side effects. Azithromycin is used to prevent any related secondary bacterial infections. These prescriptions only cost a few dollars without insurance.

Here is a good YouTube video that describes “Outpatient Early Treatment for COVID-19”:

      Excellent!

Politics has done nothing for the public in the US. Mixed signals have screwed us all up.

Why don’t we treat up front? Get a fever, cannot smell? Get a test, and treat at home. Doesn’t that pas the “no s**t test”?

Please vote against the party that supports more government interference, they are incompetent.

Huge Halloween street party in China. Almost no one wearing masks. They beat it. How? By not “testing”.

Loser normies will wait in line for hours to be tested, some no doubt contracting the disease for real while waiting – even though there is no official cure and what is known to work won’t be given to them. Many will test “positive” although they are not sick, have never been sick, and will never be sick. No matter, they contribute to the narrative and their positive test result helps to destroy America. The more positives they get, the more they can terrify the people into waiting in line to be tested to destroy even more.

Its our reaction to things that creates our reality, often (not always) far more than the stimulus or thing itself. Lincoln: Nothing is good or bad except that thinking makes it so. An exaggeration? Sure, a bit. But don’t lose the wisdom of this way of looking at things because it fails philosophically, ultimately.

    • SoftStarLight November 1, 2020 at 12:54 pm #

Gosh it really is true that you learn something new every day! I didn’t realize Lincoln had a nihilist streak. But you are right though. To some degree perception is reality and therefore to some degree reality becomes the perception. And yes, the pandemic perception is driving people to accept the complete forfeiture of a life without medical surveillance and control. What’s amazing though is the degree to which fear takes over. So that even though the number of cases are increasing the number of deaths are falling. But there is still no shortage of people wearing plastic bags and face shields.

Actually it appears that the fatality rate from the virus is extraordinarily low to begin with. And then of course as more is learned about the virus and the appropriate therapies the fatality rate is further reduced. If the masks and other precautions are effective its hard to see how the situation grew so allegedly out of control to begin with.

          • BackRowHeckler November 1, 2020 at 2:11 pm #

Yeah, local paper recently published a list of Ct Covid deaths, town by town, names and ages, since last march.

Many in their 90s, a few over 100 years old. Most in the mid 80s range. This Covid 19 appears to be a killer of the frail elderly more than anything else.

“Actually it appears that the fatality rate from the virus is extraordinarily low to begin with.”

It is low (if not extraordinarily so) and always has been, thankfully. Death rates aren’t as significant (for management) as the ability of hospitals to manage throughput, so that everyone who gets a bad dose at least gets a fair chance of treatment. It doesn’t take a very high death rate to overwhelm hospitals in particular areas. Paris is already flying critically ill people out to other regions, as Lombardy did first time around (eventually to Germany, not just to other parts of Italy).

Your healthcare system is insanely expensive, but at least you get the benefit of a lot of spare capacity, as you’d expect. Here, not so much. Flu, whose death rate is lower than Covid, risks overwhelming the NHS in very bad years. Imagine if we had a bad flu season along with Covid. Fortunately the mitigation measures seem to be keeping flu down a bit too.

“And then of course as more is learned about the virus and the appropriate therapies the fatality rate is further reduced.”

            Absolutely.

“If the masks and other precautions are effective its hard to see how the situation grew so allegedly out of control to begin with.”

Mask-wearing is less important than distancing. Not sure there’s been admirable compliance with distancing guidelines in the US? And, bearing in mind neurodoc’s point about the massive number of false-negative tests, a lot more people than we think have probably engaged in asymptomatic spreading, many of them without wearing a face covering or (more importantly) distancing.

Not that I support forcing people to wear masks if they insist on not wearing one – but countries where they are very widely adopted are doing rather better.

It’s all in the math, SSL. If covid has a .1% death rate – very low, then 3.3 million people would die if every American caught the virus. If you’re in the elderly cohort, as I am, it is a little scary, which is why I wear a mask. Imagine if you were told you had a one in nineteen chance of dying in a plane crash any time you traveled by air. How would you feel about going on a vacation?

So far this “pandemic” has killed 1 /1435 of the people in the US. 99% who were elderly with a co-morbidity. Take the 85+ crowd out of the stats and the odds are crazy low. As a gambler ya gotta admit those are long odds. In India the odds are 1/191,550. Talk about long odds. Protect the elderly. Nuff said.

            https://woothepeople.com/suppression-polls/

            “Suppression polls”

Skewed or false polls are called suppression polls. The media is doing this constantly through their paid and bought democrat operatives in NBC, ABC, CNN, and all the other MSM “news operations”. Too many to list including CBS, MSNBC and the WAPO and the NYT and many more.

They [attempt to] discourage and disincentivize republican and conservatives and moderates and Trump supporters to think that President Trump cannot win in 2020.

They do this by under-polling Republicans and therefore reporting biased polls. They do the opposite with democrats and poll them disproportionately higher than reality to give them a false, non existent lead.

The biased polling is intended to “suppress” your votes and to counter the enthusiasm of a voter group.

StE…I expected your reading comprehension skills to be more acute. You’re utterly missing the point.

Night Owl – the substantive argument is self-evident in the illustration. It’s almost like you’re being deliberately obtuse.

        • stelmosfire November 1, 2020 at 8:02 pm #

Yea, I guess. Your triangle confused my simple, deplorable brain. I concede defeat.

Just to be clear, that diagram is a summary, on a rising scale, of where bullshit conspiracy theories sit, in the opinion of the author (who is not me!). “Anti-Vaxxers” is in the “Dangerous to Yourself & Others” level of nutjobbery. Clearly, you AGREE with this view. We’re not in opposition here, St E.

        • Night Owl November 2, 2020 at 2:58 am #

I see. Why don’t you be a peach then and tell us what it is?

Seems you should be able to, no?

          Don’t let us down.

    • Kim November 2, 2020 at 3:46 am #

      I’ll comment.

In short, the diagram is just a standard leftist/globalist guilt-by-association shaming tactic.

And it is not ointed at me. On the contrary, it is pointed at, people like you, yourself Mr Mars, at mentally lazy and spiritually weak low-information leftists. It is an innoculation against you coming to sites like this and accidentally having your mind changed.

Again, you might laugh at frst, but this stuff is directed at you, you poor sap.

As I pointed out above, leftists are very vulnerable to this kind of shaming propaganda because

      A. they have a deep sense of personal inferiority

      B. they are over-socialized

These two qualities combine to make them deeply obedient to authority and to have a strong herd mentality.

As a result, a leftist looks at a chart like this and immediately finds it very persuasive because, after all, “anybody’s opinion is better than my own, right?”

Now, looking at the chart itself, there are a number of points to make.

      1. It is organized upside down. Why? well, of course it is to disorient you. There is no reason in the world for this chart to be organized upside down…except that it would be easier to read and challenge if the pyramid were righted.

A very dishonest trick. People who are speaking honestly don’t try to trick you.

      2. It offers zero information or argument of any analytic kind or involving any of the higher critical functions. There are no links and no references. It is an anti-intellectual exercise. It is just an exerise in obedience.

Rather, its purpose is to scare you away from any consideration of alternative opinions and “narratives”.

Observe how quite reasonable and even well-known facts are sited next to silly ludicrosities such as Elvis Lives and Bigfoot.

For example “Covid-19 made in a lab” – a very well-established and reasonable view – sits next to “Finland doesn’t exist”.

Or we find the simple term “5G” sitting there with no associated claim at all. What are we to make of that? Doesn’t 5G exist?

These are basic guilt-by-association and shaming arguments. Do you have respect for this?

Even more, aren’t you suspicious and distructful of people who try to deceitfully manipulate you like this?

Damn it, don’t you feel your intelligence has been insulted?

They do the same thing at the lowest, the ne plus ultra level too: for example, we find “George Soros” in that block along with Mars Slave Colony.

      Guilt by association, you see.

Weak-minded people who are overly concerned about thier social status are ripe for this kind of influence,

      4. Again looking at the broadest block and the listing of “George Soros”, one has to ask – if one has the habit of asking questions – why is George Soros found here?

After all, George Soros is a very famous real person. He broke the British pound in 1992.

So what does it mean that his name is here? Does it mean that George Soros is a conspiracy theory like “Nazi on the Moon”, also listed here.

But we all know that Sorosis not some kind of faked thing. He is a real person. We know that he is the funder of the Open Society organization and of many other leftist globalist organizations. It is Soros who in recent years has been openly funding left wing DAs electioneering across the country.

So what is the point of having his name here?

Observe that this is the lowest circle of hell in this diagram. At this level we find all of the ideas the popularity or widepsread awareness of which globalists regard as most threatening to their plans.

      – White genocide

      – New world order

      – Cultural marxism (THIS DOESN’T EXIST? IT FILLS MILES OF SHELVES AT YOUR LOCAL COLLEGE LIBRARY!!!)

      – Subliminal message from ruling class on children’s tv

The silliness of this is that I can provide reams of evidence – in globalists own words – showing that these things are real plans that have been long-operative.

So there is my brief critique.

I am sure that yours is not as good as mine.

Because your mind is enslaved to conformity. Free yourself. Learn to analyse, criticise, research and – potentially – disagree.

      • Kim November 2, 2020 at 4:19 am #

        @ FreddieMars

What is also funny about this pyramid is that it also features things that we have come to learn do in fact exist but which once upon a time we were told were “conspiracy theories”.

        – MKUktra – yes, real
        – Bohemian Grove – yes, real
        – NSA mass surveillance – yes real, but until recently this was denied!

They do not mention the Bilderbergers (founded 1952) – yet they were telling us that also didn’t exist under the mid 20-oughts!

And what the fuck is “WayFair” and where can I learn more?

      • Kim November 2, 2020 at 4:20 am #

        @ FreddieMars

Antifa is “just an idea”, don’t you know?

      • FreddieMars November 2, 2020 at 12:57 pm #

Thanks. A full refutation, as requested (and only a little bit “ad hom”, which I’ll swallow as the cost of your ‘work’).

What the hell is going on in France? Macron shutting down Paris, 400 mile long traffic jam as tens of thousands of Frenchies flee Paris, and Muzzies all stirred up, stabbing people inside Catholic churches, and cutting off heads with alacrity.

75 years after WW2, and 30 years after the end of the Cold War, it seems like the West is coming to some sort of reckoning. Not just France, but in the UK, USA and Germany too. Nemesis is at hand.

Marlin, when I was doing work in Boston, I had to face 400 mile traffic jams on the Xway every day (lol).

That ripping sound you hear is the seams of our society being torn apart. It used to be field of dreams; now it’s field of heads – or will be.

I always said that change is accelerating. Now that it is becoming obvious, maybe a survival trait is being able to deal with rapid change; it ain’t easy.

      • BackRowHeckler November 1, 2020 at 7:54 pm #

Last time I drove in Boston was for a bond auction at the Federal Reserve Bank. Never again Bill. What a maze of one way and dead end streets! Now I pick up Amtrak in Old Saybrook and highball it into the heart of the city in an hour.

    @ste:

So i wake up from a pleasant nap, and what do I see? I made a stupid error. It’s somewhat embarrassing because I’m the math Q and I’m the one who usually corrects others’ errors in this regard. Disappointing that I’m not perfect (lol). However, my point about the virus and old people still stands. The elderly should be careful.

    Really, thanks for the correction.

  72. beantownbill. November 1, 2020 at 6:57 pm #

If Trump wins, that rapid change might take a little bit longer. If it’s Biden, you ain’t seen nothing yet. If Joe does win, I’m going to start a gambling pool – the winner is the one who gets closest to how long he lasts as president.

  73. BackRowHeckler November 1, 2020 at 7:00 pm #

An Orthodox Priest was shot in Lyon yesterday. Firearms are strictly regulated in France, making private ownership of a gun almost impossible. That is if you’re French; Muzzies seem to be able to get their hands on all the firepower they need, no problemo.

When the French relatives visit the 1st thing the younger ones want to do is go to the range. They just love it. And not just any guns will do, no, it has to be Winchester lever action rifles and Colt Frontier revolvers like they’ve seen John Wayne use in ‘The Searchers.’ So I break out the Marlin Model 39 and Ruger Single Six, and tell them yes, these are Colts and Winchesters, just like in the movies. Nobody knows any different and everybody is happy.

Their second favorite thing to do is off roading in one of the nephew’s Jeeps, tearing ass around the state forest, which apparently is one of the many activities banned by the EU in France.

They’re telling us — those in power and those who will get it under Biden/Harris — who they are and what they’re going to do, hour by hour, whether individual, group, institution. But it’s either covered over like cat shit by the MSM, or it’s all the fever dreams of the deplorables.

JHK, Happy Halloween, we sat outside with a nice fire going, enjoying the full moon, telling stories, passing out candy in separate bags to parents and kids who braved the new world of virus and Orwellian lords of observation from the left, and the right wingers fear of witches’, ghosts, and multi racial cats.

Great article, but folks don’t care, and many believe the corruption and rot, decay has infected both parties .But I look forward to election day I am working evenings at our hospital, and await the turmoil that will follow, now everyone back back to consumption, Christmas is coming.

Yes, it plainly is not harris.

But why the hell would kamala harris send a body double instead of just going herself?

Is she just too lazy and contemptuous of voters to be bothered?

Or maybe this is a stunt set up by loomer, who is also a real self-seeking scumbag.
