For the moment, it seems, the Democratic Party’s actual anointed candidate for president is Senator Harris (CA), due to the obvious disability of her running mate. But such a boldfaced shuck-and-jive has never been tried before in a national election. Do you suppose the DNC honchos really believe they’re putting one over on the voters?

It remains to be seen whether this hustle will withstand the moilings and toilings of next week’s national convention — itself shaping up to be a massively peculiar event conducted by texts, emails, phone calls, Zoom meet-ups, smoke signals, and perhaps rioting here and there to emphasize the party’s dedication to the violent overthrow of cultural norms.

The real action may spool out this pre-convention weekend as all concerned grok the awful prospect of Joe Biden fumbling and stammering through an acceptance speech, confounded by the voice in his earpiece vying with the text rolling on the teleprompter. Poor Joe will come off for what he really is in this eerie twilight of his long career: a thousand hair-plugs in search of a brain. Such a pitiful display would reveal the cynicism (or reckless stupidity) of the party’s game so far this year. It will invite epic disarray in the ranks. Will they allow it to happen?

Surely, they’re sweating it. Then what? Does Hillary Clinton seize this last slim chance at glory and offer herself up to the desperate, despairing, virtual crowd in Democratic Zoomtopia?  (Quick, somebody hide the vodka bottles! And get Bill out of the room, fer Chrissake!) But think of the dream ticket that would make: Hill and Kam, two mighty womyn! One a person of several colors! (the other of several personalities). And in this 100th anniversary year of the 19th Amendment! Step aside all you hairy, groping, disgustingly-privileged males and make way for the triumph of feminism! Or… poof… is that just a fantasy? I’m telling you, anything might happen.

Does Ms. Harris — who had a close friendship with Mr. Biden’s deceased son, Beau, when both served as state’s attorneys general — sit down and have The Talk with Uncle Joe, shoving him ever so gently into that good night, then taking over the top spot for real, and choosing her own vice-president nominee? (Who, of course, would have to be Mayor Pete to complete a ticket of rainbows and unicorns.)

Does Bernie try to elbow his way back in behind a flying wedge of clamoring Bernie Bros? Nah. He’s proven in the last two national campaigns that he’s a bottom, not a top, and will bend over in whatever direction the powers-that-be want to shove him.

There’s nobody else, really, no credible dark horse, the party might turn to in its hour of self-induced existential terror. It will be a monumentally drawn-out hour if they go ahead with this Biden / Harris ticket. It’s hard to imagine old Joe out on the hustings, humiliating himself every time he ventures a few utterances before a sparse assembly of socially-distanced party ringers and foot-soldiers, not to mention the gruesome spectacle of debates with the Golden Golem of Greatness.

All this purely political maneuvering takes place, you understand, at a lofty remove from what is happening on-the-ground in the USA — namely, a dreadful, sickening slide for tens of millions into the abyss of bankruptcy, foreclosure, repossession, hunger, homelessness, and violence. The Democrats will try to pin the Covid-19 disruptions on Mr. Trump. Rachel Maddow & Company will beat that story to death, and The New York Times is trying strenuously each day to magnify the Cofid-19 threat and militate for shutting more things down longer. I’m not so sure the voters will buy that, either.

The New York Times, Friday, August 14.

Meanwhile, the Dems will have to get their Antifa warriors to stand down after Labor Day. Anymore riots and looting will surely be blamed on them — especially now that the Black Lives Matter org has declared that looting officially amounts to reparations for slavery and its associated indignities.

But will they stand down? There’s hardly any other way for the boys and girls to socialize in this year of no jobs, no cafes, no bars, no clubs, no parties allowed, no music festivals or concerts, ridiculous social distancing rules on campus, even if they attempt re-opening the colleges. Here’s something you may not realize about riots as social venues: they enable fabulous alpha-male display opportunities for young men that would never be permitted under the more usual refined social parameters. Actions like smashing things up, burning things down, hurling projectiles and bombs, dashing valiantly around in the darkness garbed in black spandex like superheroes in the movies… acting out really primitive warrior stuff. Don’t underestimate the sheer romance of all that. It must have considerable appeal to the ladies, who have their own primitive promptings, let’s face it.

But, of course, if the Antifas keep it up into the fall, the Democratic Party will be seen clearly as the party of chaos. Which it actually is. And isn’t it the case right now that the American people have quite enough chaos in their lives without all that?

The problem with indulging this as long as we have is that it will be hard to stop.

A early firm show of force would have done the trick. Now we are going to have to put a few in the ground to stem the flow.

Weakness leads to more violence which necessitates a lot more force to settle the matter.

Don’t matter now. Busting s$it that will never be fixed at the end of times was what many expected anyway. Maybe Antifa can start burning down grain silos in the fall. That’ll teach us…that’ll teach us all a lesson that those who survive will never forget.

They might hit the Power Plants.

Not long ago they tried stopping a train from delivering coal to an electricity generating plant in New Hampshire; actually it was really quite comical. The tactic they used was to place themselves directly on tracks, similar to the way they stop traffic on the interstate. The engineer was having none of it and barreled right thru, the morons diving into the brush at the very last second LoL.

      Brh

      • fugeguy August 14, 2020 at 2:40 pm #

Is there video of the train incidents? Would be hilarious to watch.

This also points to the stupidity of these folks. Train is not a truck or car. They really can’t stop only slow down- very slowly. But the same people will stick a finger in your face and lecture you about “science.” Amusing to say the least.

        • EnterpriseSpaceship August 14, 2020 at 6:36 pm #

          The effort was not to stop the train but rather to bring Energy Supplies into context;

To transport coal, massive amounts of oil needed. Without both – Electricity loses a great deal of capacity.

James Baker’s vow to reduce Iraq back into the pre-industrial age – has been managed in just the first hours of the 1991 Gulf War – knocking down power stations – ushering a new age of the Energy Musical Chairs Game.

Iraq never had any decent City grid electricity – since.

      fudgeguy,

Another thing that is very difficult to stop is covid fear and fear-based regulations. Once you buy into the idea that there are demon viruses everywhere (I just saw a picture of a masked nurse holding a newborn with a tiny face shield) and we must step away from one another in fear, how do you decide that things are really safe? I think it is going to take some people a very long time to recover, and they may never.

The Democrats are the ones who refused to accept the 2016 election – after projecting that on Trump. Now they’re doing the same thing again: accusing him of planning to do what they are planning to do should they lose.

And if they win by fraud, why should he accept it?

          • jgalt August 14, 2020 at 5:25 pm #

He should not, and cannot, accept it, especially if it is done through mail in voting. The Demoncraps are very adept at corruption and immorality, so nothing is off the table for them, and the only constant is their primal urge for power.

Two of the worst things Harris did after becoming District Attorney in San Francisco was to deep-six the ready to go investigation of the Catholic Archdiocese into molesting and raping boys for decades. Top contributors to her campaign were the law firms representing the Diocese:

            https://theintercept.com/2019/06/09/kamala-harris-san-francisco-catholic-church-child-abuse/

And letting Mnuchin skate away from hundreds of financial crimes while scores of those under her said that he should be prosecuted is another.

She is perfectly corrupt, which is why Biden’s team (Chris Dodd) chose her.

          • BackRowHeckler August 14, 2020 at 1:58 pm #

I have a super lefty co-worker that has been in a state of morning for the last three and a half years.
The mere mention of Trump sent her into a tirade of obscenities mostly about abortion rights and her fear Trump would work to out law abortion on demand.
She confided in me yesterday that she is so pissed off at the Democrat party and Joe Biden when he picked Kamala she will not be voting this time around.
I actually worried about here sanity.
She also told me she has not watched any news in months and turns off the radio if news comes on she said she has had it with both parties and feels betrayed by the DNC and its cheating of Bernie.
She loathes Kamala and when I asked her why she would not answer me.
Democrats are in a real pickle as this is not the first life long Democrat to tell me something like this.

        • draupnir August 14, 2020 at 12:25 pm #

I left the party when they nominated Hillary. Since then, their machinations have looked like some bizarre, trailer-trash reality show. Who would have thought Trump The Ill-Advised would have more gravitas?

        • abbybwood August 14, 2020 at 1:33 pm #

The DNC didn’t “cheat” Bernie!! Bernie made a deal! He is a royal sell-out! His main campaign message was Medicare for All and even in a pandemic he dropped it so fast it would make your head spin.

He couldn’t even use the power of his own voting block to have it discussed in the “task force meetings”. The DNC refused to allow it in the platform and some of Sanders’ delegates have told Jimmy Dore they are prepared to pull their support away from Biden over it.

But Bernie won’t make a peep because he is “going along to get along” with major corruption.

Biden has made it clear. If Medicare for All were to pass the House and Senate he would veto it (if he still remembers how to sign his name).

Watch Jimmy Dore’s recent shows on Bernie. The “convention” may not be the snooze fest we all think it will be.

But if two illegal immigrants sneak across the border from El Salvador and the mother drops her spawn on the soils of San Diego that child will be an American citizen and can go on to legally become president, right?

Objectively speaking, and according to the facts adduced on every side of the controversy, Eisenhower should have been prosecuted as a war criminal.

In 1945 he illegally designated German POWs as DEF (disarmed enemy forces), a category that he created out of unicorn horns and cotton candy because it would allow him to not have to comply with the Geneva Convention for the treatment of captured or surrendered enemy combattants.

Once designated as DEF, the captured Germans were herded into open-air imprisonment such as the infamous Rhineland camps where they were not provided with food, adequate water, medical care, or shelter.

Estimates of how many died in these conditions vary. Wikipedia tells us that it was a mere 6,000-10,000. That is of course fewer than the Soviets killed at Katyn (15,000) but still enough to be described as a deliberate unlawful mass homicide.

Others, such as the authors of the book and film “Other Losses” say that the numbers were much, much larger.

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Other_Losses

Other Losses is a 1989 book by Canadian writer James Bacque, alleging that U.S. General Dwight D. Eisenhower intentionally caused the deaths by starvation or exposure of around a million German prisoners of war held in Western internment camps after the Second World War. Other Losses charges that hundreds of thousands of German prisoners that had fled the Eastern front were designated as “Disarmed Enemy Forces” in order to avoid recognition under the Geneva Convention (1929). for the purpose of carrying out their deaths through disease or slow starvation. Other Losses cites documents in the U.S. National Archives and interviews with people who stated they witnessed the events. The book claims that a “method of genocide” was present in the banning of Red Cross inspectors, the returning of food aid, soldier ration policy, and policy regarding shelter building.

Stephen Ambrose, a historian enlisted by the Eisenhower Center for American Studies in 1990 in efforts to preserve Eisenhower’s legacy and counteract criticisms of his presidency, and seven other American historians examined the book soon after its publication and concluded that it was inaccurate. Other historians, including the former senior historian of the United States Army Center of Military History, Colonel Ernest F. Fisher, who was involved in the 1945 investigations into the allegations of misconduct by U.S. troops in Germany and who wrote the book’s foreword, argue that the claims are accurate.

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rheinwiesenlager

The Rheinwiesenlager (Rhine meadow camps) were a group of 19 camps built in the Allied-occupied part of Germany by the U.S. Army to hold captured German soldiers at the close of the Second World War. Officially named Prisoner of War Temporary Enclosures (PWTE), they held between one and almost two million surrendered Wehrmacht personnel from April until September 1945.

Prisoners held in the camps were designated disarmed enemy forces, not prisoners of war. This decision was made in March 1945 by SHAEF commander in chief Dwight D. Eisenhower: by not classifying the hundreds of thousands of captured troops as POWs, the logistical problems associated with accommodating so many prisoners of war mandated by the Geneva Convention governing their treatment were negated.

By “negated” Wikipedia of course means “ignored”.

            Kim,
Eisenhower, what a terrible person. If there are any remaining monuments or statues to him, they should be leveled. Why?
Because, according to one poster, he did not strip all of the inadequate supplies of the Allied European Theatre and give those to the captured but immediately prior warring german war prisoners. As my Step-Father,WWII survivor, HQ DETACHMENT 112 AIRBORNE, with 3 battle and campaign ribbons, two of which state “Ardennes” and “Rhineland” told me, if the german army in their attempt to get to Antwerp had not interceded on much of the US Army supplies, he would not have gotten frost bitten ears and feet and had his weight reduced to that of his very early teenage years.
Give your supplies to the enemy combatants that you just captured in lieu of your own men fighting and dying to defeat that enemy? Makes great sense, …. if you live in Portland or Seattle.
“Out of the nearly 91,000 German prisoners captured in Stalingrad, only about 5,000 returned.[127] Weakened by disease, starvation and lack of medical care during the encirclement, they were sent on foot marches to prisoner camps and later to labour camps all over the Soviet Union. Some 35,000 were eventually sent on transports, of which 17,000 did not survive. Most died of wounds, disease (particularly typhus), cold, overwork, mistreatment and malnutrition. Some were kept in the city to help rebuild it.”

“A handful of senior officers were taken to Moscow and used for propaganda purposes, and some of them joined the National Committee for a Free Germany. Some, including Paulus, signed anti-Hitler statements that were broadcast to German troops. Paulus testified for the prosecution during the Nuremberg Trials and assured families in Germany that those soldiers taken prisoner at Stalingrad were safe.[40]:401 He remained in the Soviet Union until 1952, then moved to Dresden in East Germany, where he spent the remainder of his days defending his actions at Stalingrad and was quoted as saying that Communism was the best hope for postwar Europe.[40]:280 General Walther von Seydlitz-Kurzbach offered to raise an anti-Hitler army from the Stalingrad survivors, but the Soviets did not accept. It was not until 1955 that the last of the 5,000–6,000 survivors were repatriated (to West Germany) after a plea to the Politburo by Konrad Adenauer.”

6000 repatriots out of 91,000. No comment on this Kim??

Eisenhower should have been given the Nobel Peace Prize for his influence in the Berlin Blockade.

“The Berlin Airlift officially ended on 30 September 1949, after fifteen months. In total, the USAF delivered 1,783,573 tons and the RAF 541,937 tons, totalling 2,326,406 tons, nearly two-thirds of which was coal, on 278,228 flights to Berlin.[6] The Royal Australian Air Force delivered 7,968 tons of freight and 6,964 passengers during 2,062 sorties. The C-47s and C-54s together flew over 92,000,000 miles (148,000,000 km) in the process, almost the distance from Earth to the Sun.[6] At the height of the Airlift, one plane reached West Berlin every thirty seconds.[7]”

“The cost of the Airlift was shared between the US, UK, and Germany. Estimated costs range from approximately US$224 million[95] to over US$500 million (equivalent to approximately $2.41 billion to $5.37 billion now).”

Yep, Eisenhower should have been given the Peace Prize. Instead Obama was given it for his great contribution for… for… what? That’s right, no one can remember.

Obama was given the Nobel Peace Prize before he even took office. For what, since he hadn’t done anything yet? For being Black. The ultimate fatuity. They lost any remaining credibility by doing that and went into the negative numbers when Obama ordered a drone strike as one of his first orders.

            I deal in realities.
I do listen to Coast to Coast and other such oddities but in order for such a thing to work one must not have a belief system that is closed or a preconceived notion as to what one will see.

Most of all is the actions China took.
The Chinese allowed world travel from wuhan to everywhere except internally in China.
Meaning they wanted the world to get this while mitigating Chinese exposure.
After Trump and others called them on it they suddenly started spewing forth claims it was American made.
No disputing American funds to the tune of 4 million helped pay for the lights and such at the lab but that is as far as one can prove anything.

You are wearing a Cheshire Cat grin on your face, and so am I, elysianfield.

Remote Viewing is NOT an instantaneous artifact of consciousness that can be immediately utilized as it requires concentrated thought process cultivated over time. Moreover, when I was much younger I had little awareness of the thought process. Over time one gets familiar with this type of conscious thought processing and through time alone one develops a sense of dependability on the perception.

Many of the instances of Remote Viewing that I have had are historically significant moments for world affairs. Many are idiosyncratic too, but most are historically relevant moments in time that almost all can relate to on a personal level such as is the case with WTC and 911.

Read up on Remote Viewing and you will understand the process better. Moreover, some people just don’t have the capacity to grasp these types of concepts IMHO.

I saw some very interesting remote viewing of the blast in Beirut.

The viewings were published several weeks prior to the blast at Rensedotcom

Question: (Not to raise a sore subject), What remote viewing did you see, Mr. White, prior to 9/11? Did you see ALL the buildings come down? Where did the plane go in Shanksville?? What happened at The Pentagon??

Maybe just post a link for me rather than start a brouhaha on this thread??

          Thanks.

I Remote Viewed WTC 1 imploding in 1995, and then I started Remote Viewing the people responsible for the Controlled Demolition as they were actually carrying out the plan and work on WTC 1, 2, and Building 7.

On 911 itself I was Remote Viewing live time and can relate about five instances of key significance to potential investigations, but if I start talking about everything I know about 911 it would be getting away from the thread as you state.

911 was all CIA 100%, and since that time I have known what true scum they are.

          • Robert White August 14, 2020 at 2:23 pm #

Shanksville was a false flag made to look like an accident with no evidence as that plane was taken to an airport and the passengers were disembarked and authoritatively ordered like sheep to their untimely demise en masse so that they would never be heard from again.

Shanksville is a smoking gun site as well as no evidence of identifiable material can be disclosed as there is none.

The Pentagon was hit with a missile from a Blackhawk.

And I did NOT see all the buildings come down before hand back in 1995. In 1995 I only Remote Viewed WTC 1 & 2 going down. Building 7 was not until the day it happened live time.

Moreover, the Shanksville plane itself must still be in existence via parts if they were not destroyed afterwards.
Some accounts on Internet have spotted that plane and tail number post-911. The occupants of that plane were euthanized at the airport they were disembarked from. They were taken offboard and immediately hustled into a hanger area like sheep led to slaughter.

I also witnessed the Forensic Chartered Accountants and litigators that were slaughtered by the Remote Controlled plane that flew into them as they were taking depositions in the missing Pentagon trillions that Donald Rumsfeld talked about publically the day prior to their untimely deaths at the hands of Donald Rumsfeld and his merry band of Neocons.

I also Remote Viewed the retired Navy Seal dude that installed the fake vending machines on each floor in front of all the elevators prior to the Controlled Demolition.

He’s dead now. Barry Jennings too.

However, I think you have missed your calling. Write a screen-play…a novel or even a serialized short story for publication.

            Seriously.

          • SpeedyBB August 16, 2020 at 3:20 am #

            (elysianfield):

“I am clinically unable to accept remote viewing.”

A bit of honesty inserted in an otherwise useless standoff. The likes of benr adhere to what is known as “fundamentalist science”, a purely mechanistic interpretation of physical reality. If it does not fit the standard mechanical criteria (repeatability, peer review, measured on standard instrumentation, yadda yadda) it simply cannot exist.

However, “…clinically unable…” is really a more accurate admission.

For those with an open mind and curiosity I refer to the late Dr. John E. Mack, a tenured Harvard professor and award-winning author of a biography of Albert Einstein. His academic standing was imperiled once he came up against multiple declarations of abductions; he was open-minded enough to not just dismiss them or label them “psychopathy”. Here was a fellow bred and nurtured with the “fundie science” approach to reality, but a true scientist and researcher who was not limited by accepted dogma.

Another suffering slings and arrows is Rupert Sheldrake. Attempts to explain away phenomena he cites for “morphic resonance” are far more absurd than what he posits.

Those submitting comments to CFN tend to be old and closed to new experience; it is not uncommon for those with a lifetime of commitment to SOP reality to reject (or be unable to process) any alternative. The history of scientific advancement is littered with such cases (resistance to and dismissal by the “experts” of Marie Curie’s experiments is a good example)

Commendations to Robert White for being honest enough to broach the subject of remote viewing (which both the Soviets and the CIA spent a good deal of money, time and energy attempting without success to weaponize).

Zoom has admitted that it routed some calls through China, raising far bigger questions on the flourishing video conferencing app. In addition to an apology to its users, Zoom has given an explanation to why the calls were directed to the company’s China servers after it was reported by security researchers at Citizen Lab. Due to a sudden surge in the number of users, Zoom had to ramp up its server capacity wherein it “mistakenly” let some calls from North America visit Chinese servers as a backup to overcome congestion.

RE the riots,….’they enable fabulous alpha-male display opportunities for young men that would never be permitted under the more usual refined social parameters.’

This is a truly excellent social psychological observation. But it has truly pathetic consequences. The mostly fat and mostly ugly females seen in the riots might be turned on and ready to mate with the acting out males, but the reality is they will end up with 1) a short term mate that is unable to make a living in the real world, 2) who will never be able to support them, 3) will likely beat them and otherwise abuse then, and 4) will leave them with yet another ball and chain around their neck, unless the female terminates the results of the mating. In the UK, the Physicians there have a term that applies, SLS (shitty life syndrome), with increased daily stress, and resultant mental and physical illness throughout one’s life.

    • zekesdad August 14, 2020 at 11:55 am #

When you and others defend the chaos engulfing this country on Trump you are inadvertently giving him a lot of power. Flawed and personally chaotic Trump may be, but people make there own choices whether they are pulling down statues or rioting and looting. Trump doesn’t prevent mayors and governors from defending their own cities from lawlessness. They’ve chosen to do that. You are making the mistake of confusing the aggressors and the defenders. I’ve listened to a lot of BLM leaders and their supporters with their strident demands, but one thing you never hear them do it is ask people to take charge of their own lives by changing their own hearts and minds, by becoming the change they wish to see. I suspect that such “leaders’ don’t do that because deep down they feed on the chaos. As George Orwell so aptly stated:

All leftist political parties are “at bottom a sham, because they make it their business to fight against something they really don’t wish to destroy.”

Do you really think so? I don’t believe that. Most people are very amenable to being bullied and shamed. Especially women. It is one way that they identify the master that they so desire to be selected by.

“Is he hurting me? Is he dismissive of me? Does he tell me what to do and control me? Does he act like he doesn’t need me and that types like me are a dime a dozen? Does he ignore normal, day to day rules? Then he must be the superior, high status man that I so desire!”

The observation is about female psychology, especially with reference to the sexual or relationship market. Am I right in saying that you deplore it? Well so does the average man.

Yet this is the reality of the sexual and relationship markets and female psychology that men must deal with.

There is a large online body of online chat where men discuss this, under various headings such as PUA and MGTOW.

Why can’t women accept a man who is simple and good?

Why is a good man who treats a woman well despised as weak and a loser?

Why must you never show a woman weakness, no matter how she insists otherwise?

It is these aspects of the female psyche that make men often think that women and their troubled minds are not really worth the effort.

          • GreenAlba August 15, 2020 at 10:20 am #

Your problem, Kim (and you are not alone in this, either among men or among women) is one of ridiculous generalisation.

Someone posted a link from YouTube on the last thread which was supposed to show us a pain-in-the-arse, over-entitled, celebrity cutesy I’d never heard of. She was indeed a pain in the arse, but the guy talking about her was equally obnoxious. And the comments were what I have come to expect on sites where men of a certain kind congregate – where I rarely go, because they are vile. Thankfully, I’ve never come across men like that in real life, although I’m aware there are a small minority of them even over here.

Leaving aside the morons making comments like ‘The only wing she should be concerned about is the chicken wings she’s making me for dinner, I came across this one: “She just needs to get popped in the mouth a couple times and she’ll learn her place.’

Nobody contradicted the person who said that last one. So, before moaning about women, maybe clean up your own house first.

If either of my daughters were at risk of being stuck with someone intent on showing them ‘their place’, let alone using physical violence to do it, I would not stand by and watch. That’s why having the potential to hold down a half-decent job is supremely important too. Husbands don’t just die occasionally, or become ill, blind or otherwise incapacitated, leaving you to pay the bills, sometimes they just turn out to be a self-obsessed waste of space (I speak from early experience), and in those cases you’re better doing the job yourself.

But those men are also a minority, as far as I can see, and most people who are not part of societies that are as bizarrely polarised as the US seems to be just get on with their lives with a lot less drama and a lot more love and respect on both sides. But you have to watch out for them just the same.

If you want to see some good feminism, watch Made in Dagenham, which is inspired by the Ford sewing machinists’ strike of 1968, which helped lead to the Equal Pay Act of 1970. A warm and funny British film, with a dose of 1960s clichés in it, but it shows what women’s real lives were like. I guess all those men who witter endlessly about a woman’s place being in the home never asked themselves who made the upholstery in their cars. Or indeed who ‘manned’ the factories and farms when the men were away at war.

          • Sredni Vashtar August 15, 2020 at 12:19 pm #

Alba, things like equal pay represent an earlier stage of the destruction. By and large such women weren’t nearly as bad as today’s. But why were the out working, being corrupted? Why couldn’t a man’s labor support them anymore? You’re failing to see the big picture. I’m not blaming the women for doing what they had to. But still it had its effects.

Maybe if you hadn’t brought in all those Blacks and Browns to lower wages, they could have stayed home?

          • feralandroid August 15, 2020 at 12:24 pm #

@GreenAlba guaranteed you have come across mgtow men before. But you would never know it. We call it ghosting in plain site. Be the grey man. Do not draw attention to yourself.

It is bigger then you think.

Most woman always go for the self-obsessed men until they need a provider. Just look at the epidemic of single mothers now.

As the saying goes: “Alpha F$ks, Beta Bucks.”

          • GreenAlba August 15, 2020 at 12:38 pm #

            Janos

The idea that a man’s labour was always enough to keep a family is a delusion of those brought up in certain fortunate places. Even when my parents were children (1920s), the women at the bottom had to supplement their husbands’ meagre wages by taking in washing and cleaning the steps of the better off.

Have you never read any Zola? Or Dickens?

And don’t ever tell me it’s OK to pay a woman less than a man for an equivalent job. That can stay in your misogynistic fantasy world.

          • GreenAlba August 15, 2020 at 12:47 pm #

            @Feralandroid

I don’t care how big it is, I hope my daughters never have to have anything to do with such men.

“Most woman always go for the self-obsessed men until they need a provider. Just look at the epidemic of single mothers now.”

You don’t know anything about ‘most women’. Sometimes you don’t know men are self-obsessed until you’ve married them, lived with them and had children. And I don’t need you to tell me about it. And I didn’t marry for a ‘provider’. Neither of us was brilliantly paid but I earned more than my ex-husband. And I didn’t leave him because of his earnings, but because he was a self-obsessed waste of space who made my life miserable. His incessant whingeing (it only needed to rain on him when he cycled home from work) and the endless anticipation of it gave me repeated nervous stomach aches, which disappeared when I got my freedom back. My freedom to spend the next decade and more working hard to keep my kids fed and clothed and my house paid for, and leaving ‘providers’ a million miles from my thoughts until the job was done and done well.

You don’t know the half of it. Only the bits you want to know.

Women and men will be too busy getting food and maintaining a decent home environment (e.g cave, tend, shack, etc). Some will even learn to shoot GUNS to protect food and home from vandals. Those women who don’t form a home situation with a strong male, will be fodder for the gangs (think Bosnia, Venezuela, etc).

DEBKAfile reports UAE normalization treaty with Israel. King Muhammed has read Genesis 12 verse 2:

12 The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you.

    v 2 “I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you;

I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.

    I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse;

and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

    ______________________________________________________

This is is effect. There are now a collection of anti-Israel despots at large, and for them and their unfortunate subjects, it is later than they think. This clear warning applies not only to nations; academia has adopted BDS (Boycott/Demonstration/Sanction) policies against Israel. See the map above.for a visual aid.

Famine Hedge is called for as we continue this cascading failure. In another Scripture we see Daniel Chapter 4, the “Great Tree Vision”. The Tree is a type description of Israel. America, as an extension of Judeo-Christian culture into the New World, faults notwithstanding, is included in the “Great Tree” allegory. Note v-15, the Tree roots preserved from destruction with bands of Iron. Lincoln’s railways?

America steps back from center stage, unwillingly but forced by internal and soon, external events as Middle East happenings become determinant. Really, William Koenig tells it in “EYE TO EYE”, spelled out so cavemen in both political parties, and college professors as well, are without excuse.

Maya Angelou was keynote for the Clinton Inauguration. Israel hating Cornell West is in line for Biden/Harris January 20th doings and reparations policy making. We are in this up to our necks, boys and girls…

      Genesis 1-11 also says:

And God said, “Let the Earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the Earth, and it was so.”

Decriminalize marijuana. No legalization making it taxable. Just regard it as any other herb that bears seed like basil, marjoram or thyme. God’s creation.

      Right?

      • Robert White August 14, 2020 at 4:06 pm #

I agree fully, but if one is growing marijuana it’s best to destroy the male plants that produce seeds so that the female plants cannot get any pollen from the male plants lest the THC content is reduced via the process of pollination.

If one needs seeds then it’s a good idea to allow male plants and female plants to coexist, but if one is merely growing marijuana for the psychoactive properties of marijuana it’s best to destroy all the male plants that germinate and start to grow alongside female plants.

The sticky resin produced on the buds of marijuana plants is nature’s way of getting the male pollen to stick to the female plant.

the foundations we now have in terms of plant genetics.

It’s really hard to tell how this is going to play out but I am glad to see Jim giving up false hopes for some October crater of the Dems’ bunker by Barr-Durham indictments. It will not happen. But it looks like he missed the announcement of the 50-day siege of the White House to start after Labor Day. So, no the riots will not subside; it’s the preferred style of Dems 2020 campaigning. They are saying, without even resorting to weasel words, that the chaos will not stop until Trump has left the office. And you know what, it may just be the winning strategy, knowing how Stockholm syndrome works. Just in case anyone has missed it, the Minneapolis incestuous fraud and police defunder Ilhan Omar won her primary hands down two days ago. Tucker Carlson reported last night that as many as a million New Yorkers have left the city, mostly the rich Dem tax base of deBlasio. My bold prediction is that they will vote 90% for the Dodder-Harridan ticket in November to get things back to “normal” and re-occupy their multi-million Upper West Side condos. The same for the covid-riot metro refugees elsewhere.

According to The Justice Department’s own mission statement, no major findings that might impact a major election can be released within 60 days of that election.

I did comment on that roccofire … one of the Peaceful Protesters shouted out that he would burn the building to the ground “with everybody in it”.

Apparently, like the 5 yo boy murdered in NC, and the tourists deliberately mowed down on a Chicago street a few days ago, this Ronald MacDonald House story was not important enough to warrant national media scrutiny. Also it doesn’t fit the agenda.

In fact in Ct today they’re still talking about George Floyd … a BLM mural painted on a street in the small town of S Windsor, Ct was vandalized — somebody poured paint over it … as you can well imagine local media, the governor, and other pols are shocked at this outrageous racist act and announced no expense will be spared to track down the criminal who carried it out “in the name of George Floyd”.

    White Privilege

The black slaves in France’s Caribbean colonies in 1789 interpreted the French Revolution as “the White Slaves arising up and killing their White masters.”

    • abbybwood August 14, 2020 at 2:15 pm #

Speaking of slaves, it is interesting to note that Commala’s ancestors were major slave owners.

Wonder how she would spin this issue at a press conference or debate??

Oh, wait! There won’t be any!!!

    • Kim August 14, 2020 at 10:46 pm #

In Saint Domingue, (now Haiti), the slaves took revolutionarily-defined sides, as either “Royalists” or “Jacobins” and were regularly led by creole and white officers.

The results played out over the next thirty years as a series of kindoms and empires, with three separate royal houses coming into being, those of King Christophe, Emperor Toussaint Louverture, and Emperor Dessaline (off the top of my head).

All three of them, each under his own reign, reinstituted a form of corvee or labor indenture to the state that was the equivalent of slavery.

All three family lines remain active in Haitan politics/kleptocracies to this day.

This sleight of hand/chicanery/patent medecine politics may remind people of big city Democrat politics.

Our host here has a long history of doomsday predictions that rarely come to pass.
Given the subject matter that propelled him into the public eye, I would think he would go back to speaking on suburban sprawl and making an easy prediction that will likely to come to pass.
The recovery from this crisis will likely involve another ring of outer suburbs around the growing donut holes of emptying inner burbs.
The demand will be there to provide housing for those with the means to escape the spreading dysfunction, as occurred in the 1970s.

    • Robert White August 14, 2020 at 1:43 pm #

Jim is wholly correct to assert ‘The Long Emergency’ as thesis for our shared future forward. There is no way in freaking Hell that this next spreading ‘dysfunction’ resulting from COVID-19 hysteria en masse will lead to Jim’s Long Emergency thesis becoming doctrine eventually.

The ‘White Flight’ from NYC in the 70s was primarily due to NYC squalor and lack of upkeep of the infrastructure. Times Square rehabilitation occurred in the 80s.

Today, NYC is facing complete Chapter 11 within months. People are leaving NYC due to cost of living and proposed new taxation that will be merely paying interest on the debt buildup and overhang.

NYC is NOT financially sustainable if the tax base is undermined at all given the Ponzi structure of municipal & state finance.

The squeegee men are back, Bob. Remember when you used to do that kind of work?

And with them, druggies shooting up everywhere and the homeless using Grand Central Station as a public bathroom. The squalor is back and the price of living has not fallen. What are people getting for all the money they’re paying? Shit. And danger: violent crime is way up too, not just squalor.

Thus approach the Truth but veer off because of your liberal sensibilities and your political support for “labor”.

Maybe some of our smaller towns and cities will be restored by an influx of new people and new money coming in. I don’t see people moving to distant, outer suburbs and commuting long distances back into a city like Portland, Minneapolis or Chicago every day. I think ordinary people are thru with those dystopic, lawless, looted, burned out lefty sh#tholes, and would be happy if they never had to set foot in any of them ever again. “I think ordinary people are thru with those dystopic, lawless, looted, burned out lefty sh#tholes, and would be happy if they never had to set foot in any of them ever again.”

The lefty shitholes plan to follow them (and their tax dollars). That is what “Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing” is all about.

The only people who are going to survive this – the mass unemployment, the hyperinflation, the looting – are those who move out to the country with extended family, weapons, grass, water and goats. Why goats? Because you have to be able to move your wealth when you need to until things settle down.

Anyone who lives in an area that can grow cassava (the South?) might look into it. It does not have to be harvested every year. You can just leave it underground and it will keep growing (while you hide elsewhere to return later). You can eat the root and the leaves. (Soak the root for three days before you eat it, changing the water regularly). Planting it just requires sticking a stick of it into a mound of earth. Only moderate water needs.

    https://www.rt.com/usa/497976-trump-biden-mask-mandate-freedom/

A vote for Trump is a vote for personal freedom and science anent the wearing of masks. There is no reason to wear a mask while walking down the street or jogging – except to show what a virtuous slave you are. And of course, a fool to boot.

Maybe some women enjoy this and this a stage on their path to Islam, which is submission to God and of course His chosen representatives, their husbands. But why do men wear masks when they don’t have to? That is an abomination.

Christianity endorses much the same attitude, but without demanding that women depersonalize themselves in public.

    • JohnAZ August 14, 2020 at 5:58 pm #

Aaah! Janos quoteth sanely about masks. This is a point of insanity by the scientist politicians. I saw a demo today showing how a sneeze unlimited by a mask can extend out to 20 feet, but with a mask on, it was limited to six feet. The six foot number sorta puts me off as a politically convenient number but the fact that the linear extent of a sneeze is limited by a covering is sorta “no kidding?”.

The rule should be, inside with crowding to less than six feet personal space, put your damn mask on. In wide open areas, your own personal safe zones, and out of doors separated by six feet, get that damn breath stealer off.

Frustrating points. Masks in cars, masks with no one around, no masks in overcrowded school hallways, no masks in any overcrowded zone.

      • Sredni Vashtar August 14, 2020 at 6:49 pm #

No, why do you care what I do if you have your mask on? Do you doubt your mask’s effectiveness? This is heresy. But by all means wear more than one mask, perhaps of a different kind if you want more protection. Hell, wear half a dozen. You already look ridiculous so there’s nothing to lose on that score. And it’s far more decent than hectoring someone else about what they choose to do.

        • abcdef August 14, 2020 at 11:53 pm #

          Hi Sredni Vashtar,
The mask you wear is to help those who are around you, not to protect you.
Think of it as amutually supportive protection society. So, having a mask in your car doesn’t make sense, unless you are travelling with someone not in your pod, for whatever reason…

          • Sredni Vashtar August 15, 2020 at 2:18 am #

Just wear another one if you are scared – of a different type. Maybe it will catch what the first one missed. Other people faces are none of your business. That’s the basis of American Culture. Ever hear of the Bill of Rights?

And no, we are not to be ruled by Doctors or Ladies who have our best interest (they decide) at heart. Why not 10 pm curfews? Think of how much money and human suffering could be saved. Why allow the consumption of alcohol? Ditto for that. The Ladies tried that one before, remember?

          • abcdef August 15, 2020 at 5:59 pm #

            I do, Sredni Vashtar
I wear a P100 under a cloth mask, since the air valve doesn’t protect others from my exhalation. Again, it is to protect others. I am doing it to allay the fears of others, not to allay my own fears. I see others wearing masks I know they are looking out for me. If they aren’t, then I have more to fear.

And other people’s faces are not my business–agreed. BUT, their breath that I can take in and get sick from–damn straight that is my business. How do I know. Consider someone who coughs on you. It is an accident. Still you know it is your business and so does everyone else here…

Why is that idea so very difficult for you to get?

Liberty is not open ended or without limit. Liberty has to be commensurate with the liberty of others. That grey area where personal liberties clash? That has to be negotiated and sometimes the role of government is to help with this when the downside to you practicing your liberty is to lose my own.

  30. abcdef August 14, 2020 at 3:32 pm #

    Hi Mr. Kunstler,
It is good to see you back to flogging your one sided horse.

“All this purely political maneuvering takes place, you understand, at a lofty remove from what is happening on-the-ground in the USA — namely, a dreadful, sickening slide for tens of millions into the abyss of bankruptcy, foreclosure, repossession, hunger, homelessness, and violence. The Democrats will try to pin the Covid-19 disruptions on Mr. Trump. Rachel Maddow & Company will beat that story to death, and The New York Times is trying strenuously each day to magnify the Cofid-19 threat and militate for shutting more things down longer. I’m not so sure the voters will buy that, either.”

And somehow, when Republicans have the Senate and the Presidency they are no where to be seen in your analysis of responsibility for this awful situation. It is the Democratic Party’s fault? Seriously? The House is to blame… ?

Well let me ask you what you would do Mr. Kunstler. You think COVID is not worth this level of engagement; exponentials and exponential growth does not move you the way it does experts, so, why is that? What exactly would get you to consider this to be a real threat, worthy of the treatment we are being advised to implement and sustain now. We have 200,000 excess deaths over a normal year in six months in this country. What is your threshold for action? And are you saying that the President has done a swimming job? Clearly, you think he is being treated unfairly, but why exactly? Because people are criticising him for being head of an executive branch unwilling to do anything about this situation? Do you follow CDC guidelines, or are you like our President, unwilling in 99% of cases to do exactly that?

I support your willingness to support a point of view that goes against mainstream views, but the wilful blindness to the President’s incapacities and those of Republicans in general is breath-taking. On one level, I understand that Donald Trump makes more certain the slide into the prophecies you have been offering for years now. It is my hope that there will be those who would arrest that slide by strengthening the sinews of our democracy. That is not Donald Trump. I have no idea about Biden’s future effectiveness, but at least he can still ride a bicycle and appears in better physical shape than the President. As for the “marbles,” if he does as well as Donald Trump in the rambling, slurring, forgetting, discontinuous thinking, etc stakes, would you change your opinion of his mental capacities?

You certainly can not compare the exposure of both men to the American public. Trump is out there, swinging away. Biden is cowering in his basement. Covid is just an excuse. How long will the press put up with, “ no questions”.

      • abcdef August 14, 2020 at 11:35 pm #

        Hi JohnAZ,
We will see how it plays out.
Not presenting a target makes it hard to land a punch. The fact that your frustration with Biden’s “rope a dope” is mirrored by many here says a lot about how successful his strategy has been. I am sure there will be fireworks the closer we get to the election. But letting Donald Trump swing at air is a successful strategy at the moment, as seen by the ridiculous attacks he has launched of late.

            Hi benr,
I would have more sympathy for your point of view if you also said the same thing about Donald Trump in this post above. The man has clear mental issues. It is one reason why these types of attacks are not going to get much traction, no matter what Mr. Kunstler suggests–Donald Trump has his own issues–given his age, his size and shape, his lack of fitness and general unsteadiness, he probably has early stage dementia going on–something backed up by the way he mangles language. So, what we may have here is a battle of early senescence. So, it is what it is. Mr. Kunstler throws rocks from a glass house that can’t withstand a rock coming back, though Mr. Trump will recognise whether that rock is in the shape of an elephant…

    .
(Mostly) men have actively destroyed The American Dream for at least the last 57 years (not to mention most of the rest of the entire World). Now, women want their chance to have at it as well. Will they do better? Let’s see, does basic human nature change? Lusting for power? “Getting yours” while you’re in, ahem… “Public Service!?” Look at the known history of these two particular women and you’ll have your answers. And notice how some eminently capable women in the country are not even on the radar.
    .
Time to forget about “Democracy” or “Republic” or Dictatorship. It’s been done. It’s time to really give this Philosopher King-thing a try. But where do we find a Philosopher King of either sex worthy of the position? Time to conduct a job search and pronto. And get some fact-checkers for the resumes. The Fate of the Nation hangs in the balance.

Any decent philosopher worth their salt would know that the USA needs money spent on infrastructure instead of on bank holding companies and junk bonds.

Wall Street is currently destroying all the states in the union, plus the union itself via the USA Federal Reserve and US Treasury bailout of the shadow banking Wall Street/City of London Banking Empire which includes the over $1.8 quadrillion dollar USD dark pool derivatives universe that Warren Buffett likened to weapons of mass destruction.

Wall Street Bank Holding Companies are bleeding you dry and bankrupt.

The real joke of the electorate is that they sign up to increasing taxes is going to buoy the economy. It is going to do one thing. It is going to feed the gimme machine the US has turned into. Want proof? Visit the city center near you.

Skiers will recognize the statement that a Dem victory is just going turn us into the fall line and collapse this sucker even faster.

The big question here is, as always, where are you going to get your money to pay off all the gimmes for their votes? Not from the wealthy, who are going to do a quick exit stage left as soon as a Dem. November 4 happens. The northern border of Latin America will extend to the Canadien border. Perhaps hair plugs cause dementia or are an early symptom. Biden may realize he’s being used as a cardboard placeholder & be too old & too tired to care. Kamala will be an aggressive campaigner so expect plenty of fireworks. As a ruthless former AG she’ll spin her record to rival Trumps law & order message—suddenly she’ll be the one to vote for to restore order. BLM may not be so eager to play along so that strategy could backfire.

Commala was recently asked by Stephen Colbert to explain why she went after Joe’s jugular where she made the “that girl was me” crack (and she forgot to mention those cute t-shirts had already been made for $40 a pop), and she said, “It was a debate!! A debate!!! A debate!”

Sooo, she was just being her usual phony self? The same phony self she will be in a debate with Mike Pence??

I really find it hard to believe anybody with an average IQ would deliberately vote for Biden/Harris.

Moiling and toiling are synonyms. But who cares, I understand writing can be difficult.

There are grains of truth to be found within the purple hyperbole dished out by this blog but not much point looking for them. The rhetoric passed around between Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Ben Shapiro, and Michael Savage is embellished with nicely turned phrasing here. This is as deep as it gets.

By the way, the administrative state and the deep state are the same thing, right?

One can point out the terrible flaws exhibited by the other side, and they are there, but to be a true patriot one needs to call out one’s own side as well. Don’t think there aren’t any. The left wing and right wing bubbles are two stupid bubbles.

Finally, when workable solutions to our problems can only found locally that’s when all our differences had better be put aside. Otherwise, we’re doomed.

We know but in this game you have to support one side or th other.
The decision is which side to support and work towards changing.

One side is at least claiming to care about America and Americans and had the economy booming Trump cares.

The other side is divisive and actively tearing America apart and mouth breaths terms like fundamentally changing America.

      @ mccobb

Moiling and toiling are synonyms. But who cares, I understand writing can be difficult.

It is especially difficult when one is writing for illiterates.

Jim’s yoking of these synonyms is a standard literary trope and is common in everyday English as well (I apologize that the literary term for this device escapes me right now, but its is something we all do regularly).

So there are a variety of reasons Jim may have yoked these words:

      1) emphasis – the use of more words slows down the cadence of reading

      2) reduction of the lexical density of the writing – too many big words, especially latinate nouns, makes writing hard to read

      3) euphony (note the pleasing rhyme of moil and toil)

      4) the bringing out of small shades of meaning because the fact is that there is no true synonymy; in reality, every word carries it own particular connotation and only more or less overlaps semantically with any so-called “synonym”.

      5) the simple pleasure to be had fgrom enjoyng a linguistic archaism. After all, we are not yet limited to IngSoc, are we?

      • mccobb August 15, 2020 at 11:56 pm #

        Kim

As I find writing to be agony and yet am drawn to it I understand the use of “moiling and toiling” is not a big deal. But it bugged me and you helped me understand why.

Literary tropes, emphasis and euphony are great for fiction (literary tropes sparingly) when they are put together in a new and interesting way. By and large Mr. Kunstler achieves this. But his blog lays out some heavy charges and these should be stated very clearly and backed by and critical thinking.

        My two cents.

        http://thecommonparlance.blogspot.com/2007/05/moil-v-toil.html

“Depression moils in a downward spiral unless checked. eh. Basically, I don’t like this word, even if it does have a French etymology. It’s a bit useless and obscure.”

        • Kim August 16, 2020 at 10:23 pm #

Literary tropes, emphasis and euphony are great for fiction (literary tropes sparingly) when they are put together in a new and interesting way.

You are quite simply wrong in this. It is not just an issue in literary writing (which surely Jim’s stuff in any case qualifies as). On the contrary, most of the things I mentioned are are not just basic features of all writing but language they are necessary features. That is, if you do not manage them properly, you will not be easily understood.

How can one write even a sentence without making decisions about emphasis and cadence or word choices and what those word choices connote in different contexts? One simply cannot.

These things are not frills. They are the bones and sinews of language production. .

For example, when do you use the word “that” and when do you omit it? One would decide based on issues of rhythm and clarity. One choice would sound better than the other to you (although some people have no ear for langugae just as some have no ear for music).

Even if I write the driest kind of scientific report or business proposal, issues of cadence and emphasis and word choices are just as important as if I were writing an essay for a literary magazine or a science fiction novel.

And as for your championing of “critical thinking”, the first requirement for that is to have relevant field-specific knowledge. I am afraid that in the areas of writing and communication, you clearly have no such knowledge.

Your opinion on these issues is not worth “two cents”.

          • mccobb August 17, 2020 at 9:42 pm #

Sure, all language should be new and interesting. That’s true. But “moiling and toiling” in the context of making an argument wasn’t interesting. But you disagree. So what.

I don’t mind being corrected but you don’t want to help me or anyone else. You’re role is entirely about protecting Jim and this echo chamber you inhabit. You might reply, Jim doesn’t need protecting from you. You’d be right of course. So why are bothering?

Instead, they are the spokespersons for the corruption of our Deep State, the propagandists for the Leftist takeover of the country.

  35. Bobby Brown August 14, 2020 at 6:01 pm #

No Trump is not Julius Caesar. He is King Lear. As a study on self pity, King Lear has no peer. “I am a man more sinned against than sinning.” Sound familiar. “No president has ever been treated this badly by the press in our history.” As a modern day King Lear, Trump must also have a tragic flaw. As JohnAZ said, election of a democrat government will result in catastrophe. I think we passed catastrophe many moons ago, but nevertheless Catastrophe has a very specific meaning, deriving from Aristotle. Paraphrasing him, the catastrophe is an element of a tragedy and comes directly from the hero’s realization of his or her tragic flaw. It represents the demise of that hero and those people around them, and it precipitates the conclusion of the tragedy. Literally, it means an “overturning”. We retain mainly this sense of it in contemporary usage. What is Trump’s tragic flaw? Like King Lear, self pity, but also hubris- the overreaching arrogance, the overburdening pride. Sure, all of those would work. Trump’s tragic flaw is his need for adulation. During the 2016 campaign it was his strong suit since networks covered them he spent a pittance on his campaign, almost got elected for free. Ahhh, but Karma is such a bitch. When Trump first heard of the highly contagious respiratory illness in China, his mind immediately went to his rallies. If this becomes a pandemic, no more adulation. When Paula Reid asked him what he had done with the month of February, he was busted. You could it all over his face. They’re going to find out. Normally his rallies were every month, sometimes every 2 weeks. But in the month of February 2020 he did 5 rallies, 6 if you include March 2, which is OK since his first February rally was not until February 10. 6 rallies in less than a month, so he could get his last fix, his last chance at adoring crowds. Inside that arena there are no bad polls, no pandemic, and no economic crisis. The enemies that surround him are nothing more than foils for his unsurpassed wit, there to be knocked down a few pegs with insightful put-downs while his supporters cheer their encouragement. In the arena, victory in November is assured, as is his acknowledgment by history as America’s greatest president. America has been made great again. If Trump could spend his every waking moment in that fantasyland, he would. But alas Fantasyland is over. And Americans are dying in droves because Donald Trump chose to spend his time being adored, rather than preparing for the greatest public health crisis in a century. Tulsa sealed the deal. The packed to the rafters, people cheering, mindless chanting, ocean of white faces is now gone forever. Without that, this job is no fun for Trump. Now the only reason he has to win is to get it back so he can have his mindless shit eaters once again cheering and adoring him. How pathetic is that?

            Hi benr,
Really–could you please explain how a party that controls 2.5 out of 3 branches of government gets to say that the other side is the cause of this? Impeachment? Wow. I remember, the COVIDS was raging on the 5 February 2020 in this country! Looking at the hopelessly garbled and incoherent response we have gotten so far, now in AUGUST, why do you believe that the President (or the majority party) would have done anything any different than what they actually did?

How did the impeachment process make it impossible for the President or the dominant government party to actually mount a coherent response to the COVID crisis or to listen to his medical experts after the impeachment process was over? Are you saying that the impeachment process made him think that internalizing bleach would be a possible course of action, which a number of people took him up on? That without the impeachment process he would have been saner and more open to the science? Or, is it something else you have in mind, because I have no idea what you might mean otherwise. Surely the President can chew gum and walk at the same time? You know, get over his impeachment mad and constructively engage the COVID crisis instead of the five ring circus we ended up getting from him and the majority party.

Show me which stats are the most correctest, broseph. The models predicting millions dead have been proven wrong. And we know that everything under the sun has been designated COVID in order to rake in the COVID cash.

And still, even with that, those numbers are sorely lacking. To the point that we chalk it up as nothing more than a bad flu season.

Your brain — it can still be engaged.

            Hi Nightowl,
“Show me which stats are the most correctest, broseph.”

So, are you saying that 160,000 people haven’t died of COVID? How many do you think have died–a number we can agree is your base estimate–“like a normal flu season” doesn’t cut it–give a number you think it is. I am assuming you are getting your information from somewhere, please share. I will check it out. I am going to guess that they are using “modelling and/or guesswork” right? So, why do you believe them? I admit, I am going with the collective consensus of scientists and experts. I have concluded they know more than me about this. Who do you believe, and why?

Here is a prediction–I expect that the Sturges Rally will be a super-spreader event. We should have an idea from researchers in a couple of months as to the impact of that event, once contact tracing has been worked out. So, if it isn’t that will tend to support your position I think. Would you agree that if it turns out to be pretty bad, that my position may have some validity?

    • abcdef August 14, 2020 at 11:47 pm #

      Hi Sredni Vashtar.
As a résponse to your link: “The Justice Department has also previously raised similar concerns about Harvard University, which prosecutors accused of “engaging in outright racial balancing,” siding with Asian American students in a lawsuit who allege the Ivy League school discriminated against them.

A federal judge in 2019 cleared Harvard of discriminating against Asian American applicants in a ruling that was seen as a major victory for supporters of affirmative action in college admissions across the U.S. That ruling has been appealed and arguments are scheduled for next month.” https://apnews.com/e97f08eb935989840bda430bb7a32e15

So, the last time the Justice Department did this, it was overturned by the courts. Why? Because Harvard is following SCOTUS’ ruling on how to construct its affirmative action program, from previous cases, https://www.nytimes.com/2019/03/30/us/affirmative-action-supreme-court.html.

Check it out. Just because the Justice Department thinks it is illegal, does not actually make it so.

Of course, with so many conservative justices, maybe the law will change! Then, you will be right, …

      • Sredni Vashtar August 15, 2020 at 1:16 am #

Well obviously civil rights must include all people, and that means White and Asians. Otherwise we’re living in some kind third world dictatorship. Do you want Black Supremacy a la South Africa?

Affirmative Action is discrimination and it is immoral. Simple as that. Do you believe in universal civil rights or do you believe in affirmative action? Obviously the latter appeals to Black and Hispanics, people incapable of creating any kind of high civilization of their own.

        Wikipedia:

Proposition 209 (also known as the California Civil Rights Initiative or CCRI) is a California ballot proposition which, upon approval in November 1996, amended the state constitution to prohibit state governmental institutions from considering race, sex, or ethnicity, specifically in the areas of public employment, public contracting, and public education. Modeled on the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the California Civil Rights Initiative was authored by two California academics, Glynn Custred and Tom Wood. It was the first electoral test of affirmative action policies in North America.

        • abcdef August 15, 2020 at 6:48 pm #

          Hi Sredni Vashtar,
You do notice that you didn’t actually talk about the law as it currently stands, right? SCOTUS may change its mind, but right now, what Yale is doing looks to be legal, hence why they told DOJ to kiss their butts.

And to answer your question: Affirmative action can be consistent with universal rights when we don’t see those rights play out in a level playing field way. I think that centuries of racism in this country had an impact on significant groups of people. And some of that was maybe subtle and definitely legal for a long time (such as redlining). We have choices–we can look at historic under-representation of certain groups in our society in elite institutions and say–“well, these people are incapable of creating any kind of high civilization of their own” or you can dig a little deeper and ask WHY or IS THIS ACTUALLY EVEN TRUE?

There are plenty of folks who will be sympathetic to your views here. I ask though, what happens if you look at legislation and practices that made it possible for people to negatively discriminate against groups of people on the basis of their skin colour. for example: It wasn’t illegal to redline (at least upto 1968+) https://www.cbsnews.com/news/redlining-what-is-history-mike-bloomberg-comments/, but it had a demonstrable impact on wealth accumulation for minority groups that can still be felt today. And attending elite institutions is highly correlated with wealth and income. Is that a result of a minority “lack of fitness” for you or would you consider that such actions such as redlining, etc. could actually make it harder for minority folks to get into these kinds of elite institutions? If so, there is a case that affirmative action allows this institutions’ student bodies to reflect what America looks like.

Equality of opportunity is the American Way. Not equality of results. Why aren’t you concerned about White failure in track and field relative to Blacks? Or in Football and Basketball? Why no affirmative action? Blacks don’t seem to need help with things that they are good at, huh? Funny how that works.

So “redlining” was wrong when done against Blacks, but it is right when done against Whites? What a funny morality you have there! So now those Whites who discriminate the most against other Whites are the most virtuous, right? Monstrous.

If Blacks are better at many sports, what are Whites better at? Anything? Nothing? I remind you the brain is a physical organ, so nothing spiritual is required for this meditation.

The Law As It Now Stands! Trumpets! Wow, like you all ever respected that. Read Civil Disobedience again, sport – just in case I’m misunderstanding who you are. I doubt it though….

          • Sredni Vashtar August 16, 2020 at 12:43 pm #

And to answer your question: Affirmative action can be consistent with universal rights when we don’t see those rights play out in a level playing field way.

SV: I’m assuming that that “can” is supposed to be a “can’t”.

          • abcdef August 16, 2020 at 3:55 pm #

            Hi Sredni Vashtar,
Redlining against white folks? OK, give me the links as to the SYSTEMATIC redlining of white folks. Or widespread redlining?

And redlining is about the inequality of opportunity, Sredni Vashtar. And it was widespread, or are you saying it didn’t happen? And please show me the statistics regarding extensive redlining of white folks. I would like to read up on that. I couldn’t find it on-line. Point me in the right direction…

And what does the success of a small group of elite athletes have to do with a widespread practice that affected a racial minority in a systematic way?

Have you read Thoreau, or is this a different Civil Disobedience you are referring to?

You’re absolutely right Jim, anything might happen. After almost two hundred and fifty years of our sometimes flawed but noble national undertaking, there is no better indicator of our downward spiral into dissolution and decay than the emergence of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as our possible national leaders.

The Democrats were shameless enough and bold enough to concoct an ongoing coup against Trump, so they’re capable of just about anything when it comes to the election. Wrapped in and protected by the Constitution’s cocoon, they seem unassailable, except for the fall of one small fry just today.

One is stunned to think that this is where the American Revolution has taken us. Have men and women died over the centuries in all of our wars to have the type of nation that these two would give us? Say it isn’t so!

In the decaying carcass of America, they feed on the rot of race and dine on the depravity of diversity. These two maggots will gorge themselves on the already half eaten carcass of this country, allied with Antifa and BLM.

It’s no mystery, they want to cancel culture and cancel history. You would think that their desire for open borders, sanctuary cities, meritless immigration, free medical care and free tuition for illegals, and defunded police forces would make them absolutely unelectable. But no. It’s mind boggling that these two maggots, supporting BLM, actually have a real good chance to win.

So there it is. Biden and Harris leading the Black Live Maggots.

Giving the Devil his due, we must also call upon the Lord of Battles to strengthen our hand and cast doom upon our foes.

Pres DJT is the first in reversing the corruption and in our insane and destructive government. He started the ball rolling. THAT is all that matters. Plus, he will achieve some very decent accomplishments for the country in his 2 terms. And then, the long line of successors (more aware, more sophisticated, more aggressive, etc.) will move in to continue the agenda of key points, such as: the government serving the people instead of vice versa, economic nationalism, and a wealth-building country, free of globalist/Commie influences. Trump deserves respect for getting the train rolling. Lot of work to do.

Watch Chicago tomorrow, about 25,000 protesters plan on marching up onto the Dan Ryan Expressway, shutting it down, which will pretty much shut down the whole city. Expect more looting downtown, if there is anything left to loot.

Looted and seriously damaged twice this summer, Macys announced it will be closing for good. Video from last weekend show community member backing up thru the smashed storefront with UHaul trucks and loading them with stolen merchandise. The Magic Mile shopping district looked like it had been carpet bombed. What, didn’t see anything about it on ABC News Tonite?

About 140 people have been shot so far this month in Chicago. A few days ago a family visiting from Arizona was deliberately run down by a Puerto Rican, who then drove around the block and ran them down again. There have been hellacious carjackings too in the past few days, young white mothers from the northside, guns stuck in their faces.

Getting back to the riots tomorrow, the beef is ‘Police Brutality’ LoL.

Coved-19 observations: 160 positive, 2 dead. Over 40% morbidly obese with the older, fatter being lifelong smokers (large percent of acreage dedicated to tobacco). High percent of American Americans of poor socioeconomic disposition, resulting in uncontrolled hypertension, type II diabetes yet only TWO dead. Southeastern Virginia, with the county considered a majority American American. Yet even with that rejoiner, Sweden has shown the correct paradigm IF you have an intelligent populace. Hence the need to mandate N95 masks here which cover the nose when worn. I cannot count the number of people in Wally World with masks down or half on! To wear a mask as such shows a profound mental deficit of WHY one wears a mask. NO discernible difference racially or by gender. Yes N95’s are difficult to come by but five months into this CF EVERYONE should have a supply. This is an egregious error directly lain at President Trump’s feet. As I see it, we are fukkked ( economic; social interacting; morally and mentally). Too many overwhelming forces pulling a savanna oriented ape into an impossible orientation, thereby rendering them mentally unhinged and as such highly dangerous. Three studies published today described a cluster of cases in which usually harmless viruses and bacteria can produce fatal illnesses, almost exclusively among homosexual men.

Researchers said the immune systems of many of these men appeared to have been weakened for unknown reasons. Two-thirds of the total of 19 men in the studies died of viruses that most people are exposed to every day without consequence, the reports in The New England Journal of Medicine said.

The viruses ordinarily endanger only those patients whose immune systems have been suppressed by drugs to treat chronic diseases such as cancer or to minimize rejection of organ transplants.

Republicans really by and large are tools of globalism. They have allowed the Left to set the narrative and talking points and they choose to only work within that universe of ideas. So ultimately most Republicans are fervent supporters of the whole anti-White movement. They fully support the diversity agenda, mass immigration, the global economy, and the anti-Christian movement. The rank and file Republicans may not support this but the leadership is totally in the can.

Joe Biden had committed to choosing a woman VP. There are several other women who would have made a stronger ticket. Senator Tammy Duckworth. Senator Klobuchar. Tulsi Gabbard.

So, the Democrats have once again found a way to probably lose most of the rustbelt and northern midwest. and the rest of flyover country. a VP from California? really?

When Truman was chosen as VP, the insiders of the democratic party knew there was a big chance FDR would not survive long into his term. VP Wallace was seen as too weird, and Wallace’s initial biggest rival was seen as too racist. so they ended up picking Truman. through dumb luck and chicanery, they probably ended up making the best choice. historically, this is a very american method.

Subtle given the hilarious, volcanic rage that overcomes Chunk Yoghurt, but a great detail.

The way the YT logo cuts in about halfway through when Chunk is yelling at Roger Stone is also comedy gold.

An exceedingly rare event, a truly astounding thing, that mighty blast in Beirut, a lightning bolt from Olympus, a message from the gods. A repository of unstable material doing what it was highly prone to do.

Which is what the economic system that’s been devised over the past two generations was set up to do, and also the society built around it, all of it unsteady, unworkable, prone to failure, just like those thousands of tons of ammonium nitrate. In Lebanon, many people in authority knew about the issue, but they ignored it.

Which is a parallel to the problem in the USA and much of the world, the question being of course, when will the pop, pop, pop of fireworks gather themselves up and set off that much larger store of trouble the way those small explosions in Beirut preceded the monster blast. Will those in the halls of power ignore the gods?

      From Lovecraft’s “The Street”

The rumour now spread widely that these houses contained the leaders of a vast band of terrorists, who on a designated day were to launch an orgy of slaughter for the extermination of America and of all the fine old traditions which The Street had loved. Handbills and papers fluttered about filthy gutters; handbills and papers printed in many tongues and in many characters, yet all bearing messages of crime and rebellion. In these writings the people were urged to tear down the laws and virtues that our fathers had exalted; to stamp out the soul of the old America—the soul that was bequeathed through a thousand and a half years of Anglo-Saxon freedom, justice, and moderation. It was said that the swart men who dwelt in The Street and congregated in its rotting edifices were the brains of a hideous revolution; that at their word of command many millions of brainless, besotted beasts would stretch forth their noisome talons from the slums of a thousand cities, burning, slaying, and destroying till the land of our fathers should be no more. All this was said and repeated, and many looked forward in dread to the fourth day of July, about which the strange writings hinted much; yet could nothing be found to place the guilt. None could tell just whose arrest might cut off the damnable plotting at its source. Many times came bands of blue-coated police to search the shaky houses, though at last they ceased to come; for they too had grown tired of law and order, and had abandoned all the city to its fate. Then men in olive-drab came, bearing muskets; till it seemed as if in its sad sleep The Street must have some haunting dreams of those other days, when musket-bearing men in conical hats walked along it from the woodland spring to the cluster of houses by the beach. Yet could no act be performed to check the impending cataclysm; for the swart, sinister men were old in cunning.

SV: Indeed, they are old cunning! And the hour is late. The thin blue line is tattered, and too thin by half. We need the men in olive-drab. And those who lead them, new/old in cunning.

    Cenk This Out

Do you remember Cenk Uygur’s crappy TV campaign ad? In the ad, Cenk said that he learned what it is like to be a blue collar working class bloke from his experience working on construction sites with his dad as a kid. So, Cenk’s dad took his 12 year old kid to do construction? Can minors even legally work in construction? The photo in Cenk’s ad shows blokes in hard hats doing heavy construction.

      • Robert White August 15, 2020 at 4:18 pm #

Even Chuck Norris came from a family that was foreign to USA soil at some point given that the USA is roughly 250 years old, eh.

Chuck Norris was not American aboriginal Indian either. A true American is an aboriginal American Indian. The rest are foreigners by historical time clocks.

No, a true American is a White European. They are the ones who created this nation. Thank you for being as racist as me. You just need to reverse your polarity and find True North and you will be as right as rain. In other words, repent of your evil.

Gee Bob. That ego can’t get any more inflated can it? Chuck Norris was born here. He is mostly Irish with a bit of Cherokee. Pretty common actually for many White Americans in terms of that touch of Indian heritage. Using your historical time clock analogy though one can expand on that concept to find that even the Indians then are foreign immigrants. Obviously everyones ancestors migrated here at some point. But America itself was a White Christian nation at its founding. That is simply a historical reality.

PeteAtomic what the hell is going on in Minnesota ?

Sez here several hundred Somali Tribesmen drove up onto the interstate outside Minneapolis, then proceeded to stop traffic. What their beef is not clear, but they were flying an Ethiopian flag. Your governor seems cool with it, just American citizens exersizing their 1st amendment rights.

Yes I remember. Obama called the birther conspiracy the greatest hoax ever perpetrated in American politics. He called it a witch hunt. When he passed Obamacare he whined and whined about the press coverage. “The press is so mean to me,” he said.

The Twin Beams of Light celebrating the Twin Towers is cancelled this year, as well as the reading of the names. The museum made the heartbreaking decision due to Covid19 fears. It takes a large crew to turn on a few lights you see.

Ah that is an interesting take. And it’s somewhat comical that people actually think de Blasio is doing this because of the pandemic. When in reality it is really difficult to imagine that it is not pure politics. His actions and policies prove that he believes it is in fact America that is everything wrong with the world. And if America was just overturned and dissolved as we know it then utopia can ensue. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that he approves of black communist riots but can’t be bothered to put on a memorial to New Yorkers who died in 9/11.

      • BackRowHeckler August 15, 2020 at 3:53 pm #

        Exactly right SSL

The Distinguished Mayor of NYC thinks the New Yorkers killed 9/11/2001, “when some people did something”, had it coming. In fact if DiBlassio attends any memorials at all on 9/11 it’ll be at the local Mosque.

Fade to Black, by Jack Antonio, Occidental Observer.net

YOU FLY into London on a British Airways plane on which you are shown an animated film about safety. It stars a cartoon Black man with his cartoon White wife and their cartoon mixed-race child. You pass through immigration control and are poked and probed by Brown people wearing hijabs and turbans who jabber at you in an unintelligible version of the English language. Heading for the tube you pass a poster that shows a Black woman dressed in Elizabethan garb beckoning you to the Globe Theatre.

On the ride into town you see posters for the latest West End plays. There are productions of Shakespeare’s Richard II and Henry V starring Black women in the title roles. (The critics rave that these classic plays finally make sense.) There is also an Asian actor playing David Copperfield and Christmas pantos starring Blacks and Asians as Cinderella, Dick Whittington, and Snow White. Next to the entertainment ads are those for mortgages and mattresses all featuring Black men with White women. And, they are almost always blonde women.

You get home, put your feet up in front of the TV and notice that there are an unusually large number of Brown people on the streets of Victorian London as depicted in the BBC’s latest version of A Christmas Carol. And the villages of Midsomer are teeming with more people-of-color than your local benefits office. Even Doctor Who is suddenly a Black woman! You channel surf and are confronted by Black vikings, Black centurions, Black Tudors and an Asian King Arthur!

The news is read by a Brown person. The weather is given to you by a Brown person. Your favorite gardening program is presented by a Brown person. The Brown person presenting your favorite wildlife program explains without a trace of irony the danger of extinction faced by native fauna and flora due to the invasion of alien species.

A typical example of the “colour-blind” casting was the 1997 Disney adaptation of Cinderella — in which a negress Queen (played by Whoopi Goldberg) — and a White king somehow managed to have a Filipino son, who ends up married to a negress Cinderella.
In disgust, you turn off your TV and browse through the latest brochure from the National Trust. But something is odd — most of the people shown wandering around the stately homes of England are Brown. The mothers of the large, happy families in the photos wear Muslim or Hindu garb. The only White faces are those of blonde women holding hands with Black men and their mixed-race children.

Meanwhile, your teenage son is in his room playing a new computer game set in World War I. But, in this version of the Great War, the trenches look like a Saturday night in Brixton and the game’s logo is the face of a Black Tommy. You wonder if you have slipped into an alternate universe or are dreaming. But you aren’t dreaming. You are living through a waking nightmare. And I can tell you why.

I’ve been a professional actor for fifty years. I’m also a proud member of that most despised of all groups — old White men. I’m not a star or even a semi-name but you have probably seen and heard me many times. I know the world of advertising and show business. And I know how, why, and by whom our screens are being darkened, I am being denied work, and our past and future are being stolen from us.

The answer is BAME. It stands for “Black, Asian, or Mixed Ethnicity.” And that acronym is now an essential part of every media company’s ethos. When a “brand” is hiring actors for a commercial or a production company is hiring actors for a play, movie, or TV program, they proudly trumpet the fact that they prefer to see or will only see performers who are BAME. (Imagine what would happen if someone advertised with a preference for White actors and actresses.)

The Cultural Marxist octopus has many tentacles and has been at work in all the arts for many decades. As a child in 1950s America, I saw early attempts at “color-blind” casting. But, in the 1960s, the prominent New York theatrical producer Joseph Papp started pushing non-Whites big time in his Shakespearean productions in Central Park. (You will not be surprised to learn that Papp was a Jew.) I suffered through many productions of Romeo and Juliet with a Black Romeo and a White Juliet. Or a Black Macbeth and White Lady Macbeth. The audience “wasn’t supposed to notice” these racial absurdities and anyone who did was a “racist.” So, most people pretended not to notice — and they still do.

Oriental audiences are more forthright in their opinions. They want White heroes. Star Wars films that feature Black actors flop in China — a very important film market. So, the Star Wars producers avoid putting Black faces on the film posters. And, the latest Star Wars had to remove a “gay” kiss to make it acceptable to Orientals who want their heroes straight, too.

    What’s wrong with this picture?
We Occidentals feel the same, even if most won’t admit it. We vote in private with our money. The producer of the mega-successful comic-book “cape hero” film franchise let slip at a convention that movies and action figures based on non-White characters don’t sell — worldwide. The sale of dolls, clothing and mugs, etc. is a major part of the profit stream for any film or animation. It is a racially revealing economic fact that Black Barbie and Ken dolls don’t sell — even to Black kids. “Gay” and trannie Barbies and Kens also gather dust on store shelves. White heterosexuality is the go-to choice for everyone.

But, shouting “commercial considerations be damned”, the Cultural Marxists have doubled down in Britain and are putting propaganda ahead of profit. The British Film Institute (BFI), which bestows crucial funding to film projects, fell into the tentacles of one Josh Berger, an American Jew with a long Hollywood history.

Under Berger’s malevolent influence the BFI has mandated higher levels of BAME. Any production that does not meet the set levels will be denied funding and thus any chance of distribution or awards. It will be dead. So, producers genuflect to globohomo and grind out the anti-White, anti-heterosexual, anti-Christian propaganda that pollutes our screens. Adding insult to injury, we are paying for this filth because the majority of the BFI’s money comes from the UK taxpayer!

The levels of “race and gender-blind” casting mandated include:

    • At least one lead character must be non-White
    • 50-50 male-female ratio in entire cast
    • At least 20% of cast must be non-White
    • At least 10% must be LGBTQ
    • At least 7% disabled
    • A large proportion of plot lines and filming locations must be set among underrepresented groups.

With those parameters in mind, try writing a film that should by natural law, reason, and historical fact be set in a White, male world. How can you fit that many women, homos, lesbians, trannies, Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Blacks, and crippled, cis-phobic, bi-curious Eskimos into a Lancaster bomber, a monastery, or the Alamo? And, I wonder if these same race and gender targets will apply if an all-Black film company sought funding for a movie set in a lesbian bathhouse in Somalia? Would the screenwriter have to find a way to squeeze White, Christian, hetero males into the steam room?

Uh… better make that – 12 Angry Black, Chinese, crippled, cis-phobic, trans-sexual, lesbian Eskimos.
We aren’t being betrayed by the BFI alone. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts which bestows the prestigious BAFTA awards is equally on-board the globohomo express though it is (small comfort) privately funded. Still, if you want to win a BAFTA you must bow down to the Cultural Marxists who run that outfit.

And British Equity (the actors’ union) promotes and protects every race but White. It cares nothing for the race that only created theatre, film, television, radio, the Internet, and trade unions! It promotes and protects every sexual persuasion but heterosexuality. My union dues are currently paying for a campaign to ensure that “trans” actors get to audition for roles of any gender including those of the gender they claim to have left. Meanwhile, I can’t get an audition to play an old White guy because it’s being played by a Black female-to-male trannie!

The BBC admitted that its “race-blind” casting of period dramas is not historically accurate but feels it is important to do it in the interests of cultural cohesion. Well… if this BAME business is not part of an anti-White agenda but just a well-intentioned attempt to make us all race- and “gender”-blind then when do I get to play Martin Luther King or Winnie Mandela?

Meanwhile, for all their disingenuous calls for race-blindness, Black performers insist on race-based preferential treatment and love “acting Black” — especially in period dramas. Notice how Black actors in plays by Shaw, Ibsen, or Wilde will use a ghetto pose and vocal inflection to get a cheap laugh. They are Black to their bones and they know it and are happy to play the minstrel if it’s to their advantage.

At this point a few questions come to mind. If non-Whites were important personages in what we thought had been a White world then what the hell are they complaining about? If Blacks really “wuz kangz” as the Black Israelites proclaim (including kangz of England) then where was the discrimination? And, if Blacks were capable of achieving so much back-in-the-day, then what the heck happened? Did they simply forget how to be physicians, scientists, architects, engineers and, yes, kangz?

Not Wakanda but Merrie Olde England.
Remember those National Trust (NT) brochures full of photos of happy smiling Brown people? They are a staged hoax. The National Trust advertised on casting sites all over Britain for BAME models and actors to pose as visitors and staff at stately homes. But, in reality, if you visit NT properties you will see that with rare exception they are delightfully White in both staff and visitors.

Still this hasn’t stopped the NT management from pushing globohomo. They “out” and promote queer members of the families that owned the properties. And they suggest that bent Uncle Bertie was the best of the bunch. The NT even tried to force its volunteers to wear rainbow flags but most refused. Meanwhile, when I speak privately with older NT volunteers, I find they have fond memories of Enoch Powell and Oswald Mosley.

I have starred in many TV commercials for top brands that were broadcast worldwide. I assure you that it isn’t merely fashion or whim that matches so many Black men with White women. In a thirty second commercial every second counts and nothing appears on screen by chance. I have seen directors, clients and cameramen almost come to blows in arguments over the color of my shirt. How much more debate has gone into the color of the actor’s skin?

No, these racial pairings are not accidental but are blatant attempts to break down the resistance to race-mixing from all races. Listen to Black talk radio programs and you will hear Black women weep that Black men are encouraged to get blondes. In fact, Black nationalists (our mirror image and possible allies) believe that race-mixing is the ultimate sin. And we know what happens to Asian girls who race-mix. But, as with films, the Cultural Marxists don’t give a damn and plow on, sacrificing profits for propaganda.

Case in point: Gillette recently ran an anti-male ad campaign that suggested all men (especially White men) are sex-pests. White men were outraged. This campaign culminated in an ad in which a Black father showed his daughter who had “transitioned to male” how to shave. This time Black men were outraged. This PC campaign cost Gillette a record amount of profit. But its CEO said it was worth it to promote “diversity.”

Careful now, daughter, er… I mean, son… uh… whatever da hell you is. Wouldn’t want ya to slit your throat now, would we?
Alongside the tribe that foments and feasts off our replacement lives an opportunistic parasite — the Black “race hustler.” The uber-obnoxious Whoopi Goldberg is a master of this scam. And, despite being as funny as a fire in an orphanage, Whoopi has made a fortune playing the fat, sassy soul-sista who is the repository of all wisdom. (Sort of an X-rated version of Mammy in Gone with the Wind or a potty-mouthed Aunt Jemima.)

You’ll notice that this smart, sassy maid stereotype is a staple of sitcoms. She is always the smartest person in the house she cleans. She’s certainly smarter than the doofus White dad who is the butt of all her jokes. (There is literally a genre of US sitcom called “Doofus Dad.”)

Believing her own bullshit, Goldberg has morphed into a political pundit. She holds forth daily on US TV on all manner of subjects while injecting the race card into all of them — no matter how misplaced. She gets away with this because Whites are afraid of challenging her lest they be called “racist.” Believe me, if you think Jews are good at squeezing the “Holocaust” into any discussion, you ain’t seen nuthin’ till you see Whoopi at work. (We have the Jewish director Mike Nichols to thank for Goldberg’s rise to fame.)

Another race-hustler is Bonnie Greer, a smug, American Negress based in the UK and a poor man’s Goldberg. Greer is a regular on BBC political chat programs where she is introduced as a “noted American playwright.” But I challenge anyone on either side of the pond to name a single Bonnie Greer play. In fact, in America she is entirely unknown. The woman is a fraud. And, like Whoopi, she benefits from Whites’ reticence to call her out.

The BBC loves wheeling her out because it allows them to tick certain boxes on their diversity chart. Foreigner. Female. Black. Greer’s many appearances allow her to shoe-horn the race card into every subject imaginable while demonstrating the stultifying banality of her opinions. But, I gotta give this sassy, soul-sista credit because with no talent (especially no playwriting talent) she has become the House Negro of the British middle class and (wait for it) — a board member of the British Museum!

“You racist, sexist bastards, I wanted to play LADY MacBeth!
Homosexuals are also useful idiots for their Cultural Marxist masters. They’ll do anything if it gives them the chance to snort poppers and wear frocks. Meanwhile, the lesbians happily play along because they get to wear the pants on stage in taxpayer-funded all-female Shakespearean productions. It is true that in Shakespeare’s day young men played the female roles. But, this was not transvestism by choice. It was necessary because women weren’t allowed on the Elizabethan stage. And there was no kissing or touching in the original productions.

Homosexual playwrights, directors, and designers rarely miss a chance to demean Whiteness and masculinity and to degrade females. In a recent London production of a play based on Patrick Hamilton’s brilliant WW2 novel The Slaves of Solitude, the queer director and adapter changed the American GI who was the play’s love interest into a Black soldier. This was impossible casting for all sorts of reasons. But it allowed the queers to indulge in their own fantasy of having a Black buck ravage the spinsterish English heroine.

There have been many other instances of plays and musicals being mangled by ludicrous race and “gender-bending” casting. Edward Albee, Arthur Miller, Tennessee Williams, Noel Coward, and Rodgers and Hammerstein all forbade such changes. Some of those men were homosexual but they still recognized cultural vandalism when they saw it. Sadly, their estates are managed by their PC grandchildren determined to make their Grandpa’s back catalogue hipster-friendly. That sound you hear is of those disrespected gents turning in their graves.

Politically Correct theatre was typified by the multiracial, “anti-fascist” production of Hamlet at the Irish Theatre, Covent Garden in 2019.
Meanwhile, the hypocrisy of the Cultural Marxists and their apparatchiks in the arts is stunning. They live in the Whitest communities they can find and send their children to the Whitest schools. (The Clintons live in the Whitest zip code in America, and Jewish Bernie Sanders moved from multi-ethnic Brooklyn to Vermont — the Whitest state!) The only contact these hypocrites have with any non-White is with their Black maids. And, if she gets too sassy, they’ll fire her Black ass.

As employers these showbiz Marxists are anything but progressive. All the major film, TV, and commercial producers including the big streaming services film their projects in poor countries. South Africa and Eastern Europe are especially popular. They do this to bust the performer’s unions in the US and UK.

This anti-worker behavior is nothing new. In the 1930s, the Jewish movie moguls who ran Hollywood hired goon squads to bust up organizing meetings for the Screen Actors Guild. Meanwhile, British Equity is too busy creating new genders to act as a genuine trade union and fight the media giants.

These media “liberals” also go abroad to abuse and exploit the local actors and crews. The same producers and stars who cry on the awards shows about Trump and climate change and animal rights allow film extras to be treated like cattle — forced to stand in the cold and wet for many hours (sometimes all night) and given little or no food and very meagre wages.

I’ve had extras beg me for food while the loud-mouth lefty stars dined like Meghan Markle. And the film crews are forced to work round the clock which leads to unsafe conditions. I have seen actors and extras almost decapitated by machinery. I have walked off unsafe sets but most actors are afraid to stand up for themselves.

If I sound angry it’s because I am. And I’m proud of it. I’m also proud of my history, heritage, and culture and I’ll be damned if I’ll let anyone degrade, destroy, or steal them. My anger is fueled by the blood of my ancestors that flows through my veins. And as long as that most precious blood flows through me, I shall do all I can to expose and resist the deliberate genocide of our people. A genocide that is being dramatized and broadcast. On prime time. And we are paying to watch the spectacle.

If you don’t believe me, just go to a movie or play. Turn on your radio or TV. Or, just open your eyes. It’s happening. It isn’t a sitcom or movie. It’s real. It’s deliberate. And we can stop it. But the entirely legal means of doing so are best discussed elsewhere. In the meantime — Hail Victory!

SV: Destroy the mind and the body dies. Destroy the culture – or give it away to aliens – and the nexus between the culture and the people who made is destroyed – and the People die.

Why do you make this crap up? Churchill riding on the underground – black bloke or no black bloke – was a serious hunk of artistic license in a film that felt little obligation to stick to any kind of literal truth. You really need to get over it.

I do hope you haven’t watched Braveheart – learning that William Wallace didn’t really get to shag Queen Isabella and give her a half-Scottish sprog might be more than you could cope with.

Yet I remember your rage when I asked about your daughter. I can’t remember if I asked if she was Black or if she had married a Black. You were outraged. Why, if race is nothing to you? It was hardly a politically correct response now, was it?

Could you be a secret racist at heart? One who loved her race?

          • GreenAlba August 16, 2020 at 3:29 pm #

I wasn’t outraged at all. I thought your thought processes were utterly bizarre. And still do. You didn’t ask if one of them had married a black, just if they were black. It’s as weird a question now as it was then.

Rage indeed! Your fanciful interpretation of people’s responses to your drivel are almost amusing.

Poster boy for projection, you are. Along with that other one.

Again, your preoccupation seems to be with England. Call me bizarre, but it is my view that the English should choose their own levels of immigration, without my interference. Sadly they’ve voted for a Brexit government that has inevitably chosen to increase non-EU immigration at the expense of internal EU migration. As I predicted several years ago.

My preference, as I’ve said many times, was for those nice, hard-working Catholic Poles, for jobs that couldn’t be filled by Brits (a significant category). Now, shortages in the hospitality industries have sent agents to the subcontinent looking desperately for staff as the staycationers increase demand at home.

I’m always for local first, regional second, and other side of the world only when desperate. Whether it’s food, immigrants or seasonal workers.

Our Elders in these matters insist on these two points: Never allow a Black into your home or car for any reason. Even if it goes well, you have opened a door which they will not allow to be closed. Any attempt to do so, will be met with extraordinary vindictiveness and rage.

This man allowed the Black into his hotel room. The Black saw something he liked perhaps. Authorities mention an Ipad. Pretty small reason to kill somebody? Well sometimes that’s all it takes. They are often very small people.

The White boy who was killed? The day before he had been invited in to their home by the boy’s father. A door was opened. Then the little boy offended him by riding on his lawn after the Whites had pretended to be his friend and shit?

You think they are the same. They know differently, consciously or unconsciously. They are right and you are wrong. They feel inferior and want revenge.

“Black Lives Matter Demands White People give up their homes, turn them over to blacks”

This was yesterday in Seattle, new intimidation tactics in play where the mob goes into white suburban neighborhoods late at night, making noise and issuing threats, Mau Mauing Whitey. I wonder what’s next, and if these threats of dispossession will evolve into direct action?

They’re showing up outside your house after midnight, the police aren’t responding, you are on your own. This must be disconcerting to the Woke White Libs of Seattle, who were always ‘down with the struggle’, and so enthusiastic in backing gun control measures, and so vociferous in protesting ‘Police Brutality’, haha.

The BLM people are complaining about gentrification. Hey I’m white as can be and I can’t afford to live in my former neighborhoods anymore either. Gentrification affects people of all races, just about everywhere. So many of the things protestors are bitching about are class issues, not racial issues

      • Nightowl August 16, 2020 at 3:45 am #

The irony of this is that many of the BLM folks live in gentrified neighborhoods like NE Washington DC.

I knew many of these types when I lived there. Privately they would admit that they were extra nice to their older neighbors (all of whom were black), because they knew what they had done and were continuing to do to the neighborhood.

Several of them purchased large, stately turn-of-the-century row houses for as little as 150k. Those same houses are now worth over a million.

Will they allow it to happen?”

JHK – um, really? He didn’t ‘perform’ so badly at the first public outing. Sure, he talked the usual banal politician-trope-laden rhetorical bullshit, and I’m no fan of his or the DNC, but he seemed quite adequately coherent, espcially in light of your pre-emptive smearing.

Good Morning, just had a delicious donut from RIdge Donut, I think the last independent donut maker left in my area. Fresh, natural home made. BUT I have a question about the covid hoax. Please bear with me. I am an old man, who has worked in a front line hospital setting for 40 years. I currently work in e.d., and being old, and around, I know many folks, and chat with doctors from many disciplines.

I known employees who have gotten the virus, I have seen the xrays, even our wide array of University doctors are baffled by this thing. READ the Dredd blog for greater scientific explanation of the misbehaving microbes. During flu season many of us started wearing masks all the time on our unit because the flu numbers and acuity was increasing.I will now be silent and go back to reading the battle of philosophies between the Janos types vs the liberals, then sleep a wage slave I am. But, explain how this hoax works? Thank you, good day, life is short eat a donut, and broke another record last night, 5 shootings again.

      • GreenAlba August 16, 2020 at 11:45 am #

Thanks for the heads up re the Dredd blog, roccofire. Very interesting articles, and more confirmation that these pandemics/epidemics generally seem to be a result of intensive animal and poultry farming and the destruction of biodiversity.

We have a dilemma. Too many of us, demanding too much meat and poultry. And yet we know that eating meat and poultry is better for our health (individually, and leaving aside the grotesque influence of factory farming) than eating carbs, especially laced with the ubiquitous corn syrup.

And we’ve still to reap the whirlwind of feeding antibiotics to livestock like sweeties (and to demanding patients, when not strictly necessary).

        Whatever else, it’s not sustainable.

The Attempted Covid Hoax of 2020

What history will record as the great COVID coup of 2020 is based on lies and fear manufactured by America’s ruling class—led by the Democratic Party and aided by the complaisance of most Republican politicians.

In March, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) presented the coronavirus to the Western world as a danger equivalent to the plague. But China’s experience, which its government obfuscated, had already shown that COVID-19 was much less like the plague and more like the flu. All that has happened since followed from falsifying this basic truth.

Americans were led to believe that the virus was unusually contagious, and that it would kill up to one in 20 persons it infected—a 5 percent infection/fatality rate (IFR). Today, we still lack definitive, direct knowledge of COVID-19’s true lethality. The absence of that knowledge allows bureaucrats to continue fearmongering.

By May, a host of studies in the U.S. and around the world showing that the vast majority of COVID cases cause mild symptoms or none, and showing the IFR to be equal to or lower than that for most flus, forced the CDC to conclude that the lethality rate, far from being 5 percent, was 0.26%––double that of a typical flu. Instead of amending their recommendations in the face of this reality, the CDC and the U.S. government tried to hide it by manipulating the definition and number of COVID “cases.”

Federal officials defined “cases” as people sick enough to be hospitalized who also tested positive for the virus—this represented the “curve” that we were urged to sacrifice so much to “flatten,” lest a wave of hospitalizations overwhelm our health-care system. That wave never came. The CDC and feds began labeling mere infections as “cases” and stopped reporting “cases” together with the number of deaths. They did this to frighten the inattentive public about “spiking COVID cases.” They also inflated the number of deaths attributed to COVID by including illnesses such as pneumonia and influenza and others into the death figures.

In reality, those who died with or of COVID-19 nearly always suffered from other diseases as well, such as Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and compromised lungs, in addition to being elderly and infirm. COVID-19’s effect on ordinary healthy persons is considerably milder than those of ordinary respiratory diseases.

COVID-19 is not America’s plague. There was never the slightest evidence that the virus could produce mass casualties; all evidence pointed in the opposite direction. Instead, the ruling class took this opportunity to extort the general public’s compliance with its agendas. Their claim to speak on behalf of “science” is an attempt to avoid being held accountable for the enormous harm that they are doing. They continue doing it because they want to hold on to the power the panic has brought them.

In sum, the lockdowns have been inflicted and perpetuated by people who care more about your subjugation than your health. They want to wreck the U.S. economy and increase the Democratic Party’s chances in the 2020 election. And they might succeed.

The 2016 election raised the possibility that the presidency’s enormous powers might be used to dismantle the ruling class’s network of prestige and privileges. In response, elites launched what has amounted to a “full court press” against the Trump administration, treating anything and everything about the administration as illegitimate. Despite their best efforts, the U.S. economy boomed. Trump’s approval ratings rose. As 2020 dawned and Trump seemed a cinch for reelection, the political left and its allies grasped for ways of damaging him.

COVID-19 was the perfect chance to produce, stoke, and maintain fear in pursuit of power. In short, the ruling class used the coronavirus to collapse American life. We are living through a coup d’état based on the oldest of ploys: declaring emergencies, suspending law and rights, and issuing arbitrary rules of behavior to excuse taking “full powers.”

Truth and clarity about the 2020 COVID coup are necessary for the United States to overcome its effects. Americans are anxious for truth about what happened—and what is still happening. The lies upon which this scam has been based are so substantively thin, and the resources for establishing the truth so abundant, that a few courageous leaders in key places may suffice.

For example, nothing is stopping the Senate from functioning as a truth commission regarding the COVID coup. Since the virus scam is based on lies and misrepresentations by persons of considerable power and prestige, expert questioning under oath before television cameras can let Americans judge for themselves why “medical experts” stigmatized those going to the beach and church—while not objecting, later, to the even greater numbers of Americans rioting in the streets.

State governors, as well, can provide practical leadership to motivate, guide, and legitimize life independent of our dysfunctional ruling class. Several U.S. states never shut down, while others reduced activities far less than the likes of California and New York. Like Sweden’s government, these states’ officials didn’t believe that COVID-19 was the plague and saw individual responsibility as the surest guarantee of safety for all. Indeed, the public would benefit from seeing these states’ governors defend their widely different perspectives on the COVID pandemic—and the results of their policies and decisions.

An honest reckoning, if we can get one, will reveal that the COVID-19 experience in America has only tangentially been about health. It has been, predominantly, a political campaign based on the pretense of health but dedicated to the maintenance of elite control—and it has done far more damage and caused more misery than the coronavirus itself.

    Black Lives Matter

“ Sans-culotte militants not only went after living supporters of the monarchy but also its symbols, such as the equestrian statue of Louis XIV in the Place des Victoires and the statue of Henri IV on the Île de la Cité. Napoleon Bonaparte, who witnessed the attack on the palace from the window of a nearby building, mingled with the crowd afterward. “The anger was extreme everywhere one went,” he later recalled. “Hatred was in their hearts and could be seen on their faces, even though they were not at all from the lower classes.”32 The experience left him with a lasting distaste for popular violence.”

Napoleon used cannon to end the anarchy of the French Revolution. I read that Napoleon spent 3 hours meticulously positioning his cannon in preparation to blast the Paris demonstrators with grape shot. After Napoleon blasted the demonstrators with grape shot, there was not another public protest in France for 30 years.

Ok what’s new you say, why are you telling us this, who cares?

Well, in Cincinatti, they have jumped on the anti PD bandwagon, but with a twist. The call is not to ‘defund the police’, but to DISARM the Police! That’s right the cops would patrol city streets without sidearms or a backup shotgun or AR. Weapons would be issued ‘as needed’, determined by a committee of social workers and community justice arbiters.

No, I’m not making this up. I’m actually eager to see one of these cities follow thru on defund the police or disarm the police, and Utopia that will ensue afterwards, ahahaha!!!

So you’re in to clickbait now? And also making it up as you go huh. Too bad your video was all about advertising companies and not at all about the Trump campaign. But good try. I guess lol.

    Huh!

5 Community Members gunned down in New Haven last night!

Is it contagious? Is there something in the water in these urban areas? How can one explain it?

Now, in New Haven, the Columbus monument was removed, and ancient stained glass panels at Yale that some Community Members deemed ‘Racist’, were destroyed; still, the mayhem and bloodshed continue. The Community was not mollified, not in the least.

      Doors
      Morrison Hotel
      Peace Frog

There’s blood in the streets, it’s up to my ankles
      She came
There’s blood on the streets, it’s up to my knee
      She came
Blood on the streets in the town of Chicago
      She came
Blood on the rise, it’s following me
Think about the break of day

She came and then she drove away
      Sunlight in her hair

      She came
Blood in the streets runs a river of sadness
      She came
Blood in the streets it’s up to my thigh
      She came
Yeah the river runs red down the legs of the city
      She came
The women are crying rivers of weepin’

She came into town and then she drove away
      Sunlight in her hair

Indians scattered on dawn’s highway bleeding
Ghosts crowd the young child’s fragile eggshell mind

Blood in the streets in the town of New Haven
Blood stains the roofs and the palm trees of Venice
Blood in my love in the terrible summer
Bloody red sun of Phantastic L.A.

Blood screams the pain as they chop off her fingers
Blood will be born in the birth of a nation
Blood is the rose of mysterious union

There’s blood in the streets, it’s up to my ankles
Blood in the streets, it’s up to my knee
Blood in the streets in the town of Chicago
Blood on the rise, it’s following me

Like 9-11, we’ll never know the “truth” of CV19. It’s in the hands of the mythologists now. But not to worry, there’ll soon be something much worse to worry about, since this one has worked out so well. Funny how the US is the center of the “crisis” now, even though no one’s actually getting sick, other than in the bogus “news reports.” On the plus side, the masks have definitely caught on as the latest in fashion accessories (now in officially licensed team colors and logos, of course!) so I imagine they’ll be a permanent thing for all the under-forty lemmings from here on out. Thank god I’ll soon be dead. I couldn’t bear to live in the world these idiots are creating.

Are the hospitals full of Covid 19 patients?

        • Disaffected August 17, 2020 at 6:33 am #

Nowhere I know of. Certainly nowhere around here, and the lady down the street works at the hospital, so I ask her all the time. Saw my Dr. for a routine visit week before last and he was actually ranting to me about the insanity of all this lockdown nonsense, and he’s a pretty conservative guy. Told him I had a newfound respect for him now.

“Je m’appelle le docteur Anthony Fauci. Je recherche un vaccine contre Covid 19.”

“ It was left to journalists to explain to the public the significance of the sudden transformation of their country into a republic like those imagined by Rousseau and Mably before 1789. A republic, the editor of the Révolutions de Paris wrote, “is a government where everyone is free, where no one is the master, where every citizen cares for his country as much as the head of a household does for his family.” An honest republican, he added, “is a citizen who sees his fellows as equals.… A good republican… cares above all for the common good, which he prefers to everything else; he is not a cold egoist.” Becoming republicans would not be easy, the writer admitted. “Citizens!,” he exhorted them, “You must resign yourselves in advance to privations, and resolve to make sacrifices.”

Both Trump and my wife cannot break the habit of mispronouncing Senator Harris’s first name. They both say kuh MAH la. I predict Trump will continue to say kuh MAH la for the next 3 months whether he knows the correct pronunciation or not.

In my wife’s case I suggested she envision Harris’s first name spelled as follows:

    ,la Harris

BLM mob occupies the small town of Hugo, Minn., maniac gives fiery, profanity laced speech in residential neighborhood, inveighing against ‘The Klan’ and ‘White Supremacy’, threatens to “burn this f#kkn town to the ground”.

Well, there it is. They really are coming out into the suburbs after Whitey. It’s not an idle threat, or a myth. Its actually happening. I suppose we should prepare for the inevitable.

Two blacks – as shown in the police video – murder a white man for no reason, shooting him in the back.

      https://www.cp24.com/news/total-cowardice-police-release-surveillance-video-after-scarborough-man-fatally-shot-in-back-while-waiting-for-ride-to-work-1.5064857

Toronto police are appealing for help in identifying the suspects wanted in connection with a “brazen” and “cowardly” murder that saw a Scarborough man fatally shot in the back as he waited for a ride to work earlier this week.

“I’m looking for the public’s assistance in this. This was a horrific, cowardly and uncalled-for act,” Det. Sgt. Ted Lioumanis told reporters at a news conference Friday as he stood surrounded by members of the victim’s family.

Man shot to death outside Scarborough apartment was waiting for ride to work: police

Lioumanis said by all accounts, the victim – 45-year-old John Wheeler – was a hard-working man who worked some 15 hours a day as a general contractor. There’s no apparent reason, Lioumanis said, to explain why anyone would come up to him in the middle of the night and shoot him in the back.

    Hey Jim.

If you go to revolver.news front page they have a report and relevent picture

Rare storm with Category 2 hurricane wind speed ravages Iowa (Photos)…

on storms in the Midwest. The picture – I wish I could post it here – of wrecked silos and steel farm buildings looks exactly like an example from “Eyesore of the Month”.

For a moment, seeing those destroyed buildings, that is truly what my mind initially thought I was looking at, some new triumph of the modern architectural insanity.

    Truly, stranger than fiction.

In Portland tonite, man pulled from his truck, beaten to death by BLM mob

    Then the truck was looted.

Looks like it was an older Silverado. Sitting on the pavement, surrounded by about a dozen Peaceful Protesters, dazed, it sounds like he was saying he was trying to get home from work. Then a few hard blows and kicks to the head finished him off. These BLM chaps don’t f##k around apparently; they mean business.

      Infuriating!

Goddammit it is past time for the good people of Oregon to grab their guns, go into Portland and wipe out the blue gum brigade.

Maybe their aren’t any good people in Oregon. If so, then to hell with the whole state. Sever it and float it out to sea. Send it to fuckin’ China.

Don’t be so goddamned harsh. Anyone driving an older Silverado should be similarly handled…

Maybe you’re in a parallel universe, Jim, but in the reality I live in, the Anti-Fa-scists all seem well aware that the Dems are just a “kinder, gentler” fascism, (if you cross your eyes and squint) and they don’t support it, either, much less do its bidding.

The latest generation of young adults (and lot of members of the not-so-young adult generation a step older than they are) have a very experiential understanding that the American oligarchy, whether it’s wearing a MAGA hat or a DNC hat, has nothing to offer them, and doesn’t care what happens to them, and so are doing their best to create a more personal world of the sort you advocate, with some “socialism” thrown in–not the ponderous state capitalism of the USSR, but the reasonable use of the government’s power to do things for the common good, as well as by creating enterprises that are owned and controlled by those who work in them and/or use their services.

I challenged you a while back to have a Kunstlercast conversation with Prof. Richard Wolff. Unless I missed it, it never happened. I double-dog dare you to do it. I bet you will come away from such a conversation with a radically different understanding of “socialism.” But maybe that’s why you won’t do it.
