I suspect there’s a hidden agenda behind the announcement in The Wall Street Journal op-ed by former Hillary Clinton aide Mark Penn that the Ole Gray Mare is actually eyeing another run for the White House in 2020. No, it’s not just that she would like to be president, as she averred on video last week in a weak moment, or that she has decided late in life to go full Bolshevik policy-wise. It is to establish her in the public mind as a serious candidate so that when she is indicted a hue-and-cry will arise that the move is a purely political act of revenge by the wicked Trump.

Of course, she’s not a serious candidate because too many people recognize her naked corruption, and she’s carrying so much noisome baggage that her entourage looks like one of those garbage truck convoys hauling New York’s trash to flyover country. Prosecutors don’t even have to search very hard for evidence of her misdeeds. It’s smeared all over the swamp-scape in the established facts about the Steele Dossier and its engineered journey through the highest levels of the FBI and Department of Justice, and the wild machinations that ensued when the cast of characters in those places scrambled to cover their asses following the debacle of Hillary’s election loss.

Little is known about what is going on inside the Mueller commission. But if, as it appears, the Special Counsel is still stalking Russian Facebook trolls and ignoring the slime-trail of  huggermugger left behind by Hillary & Company, then we are seeing one of the most fantastic failures of law enforcement in history. Still, there’s a possibility — low-percentage in my view — that Mr. Mueller might disclose a raft of charges against the Clinton gang and her errand boys.

The trouble is that such charges may lead to the some of the highest former officials in the land, including former CIA director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, and perhaps even the sacred former President Obama. Even Mr. Mueller himself is suspect in the 2009 Uranium One deal that conveyed over $150-million dollars from Russian banks into the Clinton Foundation coffers.

If it turns out to be the case that Mr. Mueller’s report completely overlooks all that, then there is going to be a mighty collision between his office and the new management of the Justice Department, Mr. Whitiker, the Acting Attorney General, and whomever is finally confirmed as the new regular AG. Personally, I don’t see how Mr. Mueller can evade the questions over these matters. Too many wheels have been set in motion, and some of these wheels are coming loose — such as the mischief promulgated by the international man-of-mystery Joseph Mifsud, who was likely working for US intel via the British MI6 to game George Papadopoulos into a Russian collusion set-up that he demurred from. The set-up failed spectacularly, and now that the facts are becoming known about it, Mr. Mifsud has come out of hiding, and his lawyers are preparing to serve him up to the Senate Judiciary Committee. Won’t that be fun?

Many of the other characters involved in these perfidious schemes — Comey, Strzok, Page, Ohr, McCabe, et al — have been keeping remarkably low profiles lately (except for the reckless and feckless John Brennan, who apparently can’t keep his pie-hole shut on MSNBC). Hillary has been making the rounds, too, on some kind of phony-baloney “listening” tour. But she looks sore-beset and worried on stage, slumped in her easy chair, and I’m persuaded she’s simply going through motions to pretend that she’s still a credible political figure so that when the hammer comes down on her she can issue the war whoops that will start Civil War 2 in earnest.

Meanwhile, a giant archive of documents in these matters is awaiting declassification. The buzz is that Mr. Trump delayed this before the midterm elections due to threats from our “intel community” that the documents would compromise our relations with foreign intel outfits in friendly lands — namely the aforementioned MI6 of the UK.  The collusion was apparently done to avoid legal questions about using US intel to spy on members of the Trump election campaign. But Theresa May’s government is imploding now, and that nation will be preoccupied with other problems going forward, so it is more likely that the garbage barge of unredacted emails, texts, and agency transcripts will sail right into the public domain in the days ahead, whether Mr. Mueller likes it or not.

What perfidy smells like, a list, backstabbing, betrayal, disloyalty, double crossing falsity with the distinct miasma of treachery and treason. The disgusting stench of an empire most rotten.

The sweet perfume of allegiance, devotion, fidelity and loyalty with staunch steadfast leadership, does not swoon us with delight. Nowhere in the public eye can such a sweet fragrance be found. Nowhere.

            It all stinks.

The “Out of Thin Air” argument of today’s Prog-Left: Analytically, there is no fulcrum of balance for legitimizing the Left’s position on any of the salient points faced by our nation. That’s because its arguments are completely un-weighed by evidence offered by history or the human sciences.

That’s right; nothing but the “thin air” of assumption that had any culture or race other than that of White/Western gained the preeminence of technological and social administrative advancement — setting White/Western culture hundreds of years apart from all others — then (goes the Left’s implicit contention) the world today would be a Utopia of blissful peace between all people.

Essentially, it’s a pathology of a form of narcissism; symptomatically expressed by such policies as that of Germany’s Merkel, but in the context of US politics the advocating for non-enforcement of US borders and immigration laws.

Condensed to clinical framing; another “shaggy God story” wherein the ego is held to be the pivot point between absolute virtue/evil. Well, all, shall we continue this self-flagellation toward national extinction?

    • Lonely Traveler November 16, 2018 at 10:32 am #

No one in this nation has any salient points. You’re only kidding yourself.

Liberals will go extinct because they don’t have children or any moral center. Those who have both will inherit the Earth.

      • GreenAlba November 16, 2018 at 12:39 pm #

I was rather hoping we wouldn’t have any more of this stuff, but it seems that’s too much to ask.

I have both children and a moral centre, but I’m not looking to inherit anything as I find having both children and a moral centre to be just kinda normal and feel no need to take credit for either or look for a reward.

I just hope something of the actual earth will be left for them by the pretend conservatives who hate conserving and just want to use everything up.

        • There will be a pile of dirt for the kids, for sure… left over from all the holes they’ve been digging to bury their responsibilities.

        • SoftStarLight November 16, 2018 at 12:48 pm #

But Alba you are not really a liberal. You are center-left. You are much more reasonable than progressives even though we rarely see eye to eye.

          • malthuss November 16, 2018 at 1:41 pm #

            Haha.

          • Tate November 16, 2018 at 2:01 pm #

Don’t be fooled by the veneer of ‘reasonableness.’ Center-left in Britain means ‘Big Bro-style’ apology in the U.S.

          • SoftStarLight November 16, 2018 at 2:11 pm #

Sorry, I went a little too far. Thank you for correcting my path!

          • GreenAlba November 16, 2018 at 2:20 pm #

Give it time, Tate, and maybe ‘reasonableness’ will mean having a Nazi flag outside your house, like nice Uncle Pete.

I’m sure we’re all eager for such a change to the lexicon.

          • akmofo November 16, 2018 at 3:41 pm #

So, Mrs Green, we’re back to the 1930s and having to chose between Commies and Nazis with the Vatican and its propaganda organs once again dictating these foul choices.

Wouldn’t it be more “reasonable” to tune off the BBC and vote no confidence in these Vatican gov mafia institutions?

          • Tate November 17, 2018 at 2:07 pm #

George III was being “reasonable” with those ornery colonials as I recall. They were such scoundrels. They just wouldn’t listen to reason. They wouldn’t stay in their place, they kept insisting on their rights, going on & on about being “Englishmen.” How dare they!

          • GreenAlba November 18, 2018 at 10:04 am #

No idea how you jumped from Nazi flags to George III but, like I said, nothing surprises me any more.

Perhaps you think I have some vested interest in defending the British monarchy, who knows…

I’m more interested in dimwits in my country kow-towing to their ex-colony and following them into illegal wars.

          • Majella November 18, 2018 at 4:22 pm #

But, SSL, the center-left IS the true liberal stance. The far left is anything but ‘liberal’ – in fact, it is just as deranged & warped and one-eyed as the ‘conservative’ right.

        • SoftStarLight November 16, 2018 at 12:59 pm #

And I don’t think anyone is looking for a reward. That is just how it’s all going to sort itself out.

          • Cavepainter November 16, 2018 at 2:44 pm #

Please Green, explain for me the difference between having a Nazi flag as opposed to that of our native born Maoists.

          • GreenAlba November 16, 2018 at 3:15 pm #

Dunno, Cavepainter. Why don’t you ask some of your Jewish neighbours? You probably have more of those than actual Maoist ones.

        • Walter B November 16, 2018 at 4:09 pm #

You know GA it is really a crying shame that so many people refer to themselves as conservatives when it is so difficult to understand what exactly it is they are conserving. I do believe that the vast majority of American liberals and conservatives are ardent consumers of mass quantities of just about everything they can get their hands on. They use and abuse everything from gasoline, electricity, food, drugs, entertainment, debt, you name it, they blow through it like there was no tomorrow. Those few of us that actually do use as little of everything as possible are considered loonies, or eccentrics, and certainly scoffed at and looked down upon, which isn’t hard for them to do from the massive land barges that they all seem to drive any more. Oh well, all I can do is what I do myself and I am very pleased with not being so much of the problem as those around me. It’s sounds like you are much of the same. Good for you, there is dignity in rarity don’t you think?

          • GreenAlba November 17, 2018 at 6:44 am #

Yes, Walter, it is encouraging to know that people who don’t share all their opinions and beliefs can still see the sense in basic wisdom.

I was brought up in a post-war ‘waste not, want not’ home. It seems to me the obvious way to live, even though I have things my parents didn’t have. I just don’t replace them until they’re completely dead, even if 10 new models have been created for the uncritical in the interval. All I require is that things work, not that they give me status in the eyes of people whose judgement clearly has no real value. We seem to have at least that in common.

        • Ancianoloco November 17, 2018 at 10:54 am #

You can take The Great and Infernal Truthiness of Lil Debbie Snack Packaging’s Reductio ad absurdum above and switch out Right for left. What does it matter? The false Left/Right paradigm and the indoctrinated fools who smugly cling to their “side” is what convinces me that our species is just another failed mutation.

Looks like fumes of what once was the Democratic Party (that blue-shaded chimera of the true Property Party) will dust off Nancy Pelosi and install her as Speaker once again. With all the promising new life injected into the House recently, you would think that they could do better.

However Pelosi’s dedication to her DoD contractor clients is not to be trumped (so to speak). So there will be no alarm in the boardrooms of Boeing, Northrup, etc…

    • chipshot November 16, 2018 at 11:50 am #

Don’t know why you say that, G. There’s plenty of reason to believe she will be rejected, w the promising new life injected into the House leading the way.

  4. Neon Vincent November 16, 2018 at 10:15 am #

“[T]he Special Counsel is still stalking Russian Facebook trolls” They’re low-hanging fruit, as Vox explained; social media contributes to polarization and promotes trolls, conspiracy theorists, and fake news. To paraphrase Jack Nicholson’s Joker, “this site needs an enema.” However, that’s not all the Russian influence our politics that is being pursued by the Justice Department, if not Mueller’s team itself. Don’t forget Maria Butina, who came from Russia to the NRA with love. Honeypot, anyone?

    • Lonely Traveler November 16, 2018 at 10:35 am #

Russia Shmusha. Most Americans don’t even know what Russia is.

      • Neon Vincent November 16, 2018 at 11:01 am #

But Hollywood sure does. The spy drama “The Americans” won three awards at the 2018 Television Critics Association Awards, Program of the Year, Outstanding Achievement in Drama, and Individual Achievement in Drama for Keri Russell. In addition, “The Americans” earned two Emmy Awards, Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series for Matthew Rhys and Outstanding Writing For A Drama Series. In a year when Russia involvement in U.S. politics was all over the news, “The Americans” (who are really Russian/Soviet spies) finally breaking through and getting major awards says something.

Judge rejects neo-Nazi’s First Amendment argument in harassment case
Victim was flooded with hundreds of violent and anti-Semitic messages.

    https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2018/11/judge-first-amendment-doesnt-protect-neo-nazis-online-harassment/

When Andrew Anglin isn’t editing his neo-Nazi website the Daily Stormer, he organizes harassment campaigns against perceived enemies. One target of an Anglin harassment campaign, Tanya Gersh, sued Anglin last year. On Wednesday, a Montana federal judge dealt Anglin a significant setback, holding that the First Amendment does not protect Anglin’s right to publish Gersh’s personal information and encourage his legion of anti-Semitic followers to harass her.

But this legal battle isn’t over yet. The judge’s ruling allows the lawsuit to go forward, but Gersh’s lawyers will still have to prove Anglin liable for invasion of privacy and other harms.

Still, the ruling could prove significant for other victims of online harassment. Anglin argued that he was just publishing information—like Gersh’s home phone number—and couldn’t be held responsible for what his readers did with that information. But the judge pointed to clear evidence Anglin knew exactly what readers would do with the information and egged them on at every step.

The judge made the correct decision. The First Amendment has a clear purpose: to protect political freedom, not to be a shield for a campaign of threats and intimidation.

How dare you talk about my boyfriend like that LOL ;-)!!!! Hmmm, it is funny we never hear any condemnation when conservatives or independent thinkers are doxed. Guess only certain people have first amendment rights. What do you have to say about what happened to Tucker Carlson?

    • Anon1970 November 16, 2018 at 12:05 pm #

Before there was Andrew Anglin and “The Daily Stormer” web site, there was Julius Streicher and his anti-Semitic German newspaper “Der Sturmer”, which he published from 1923 until the end of WWII. Streicher was not convicted of spreading religious hate, given Germany’s liberal Weimar constitution in those days. My guess is that Anglin’s case will eventually get to the US Supreme Court. In 1946, Streicher was convicted of promoting the Holocaust and was hung at Nuremberg as a war criminal. It remains to be seen whether Anglin will eventually be convicted of anything in the US.

When will the Clinton’s be convicted for their multitude of crimes? Oh right, they won’t be LOL…

Why don’t you tell the rest of it? Of Gersh’s threat against Mr Spencer’s mother that she would have a hundred or hundreds of protestors in front of her building if she didn’t sell out. She then offered to be her Real Estate Agent and helpfully wrote a confession for her to sign. Full service!

Let’s face it: Gersh should have been a Commissar under Trotsky or Stalin. But she was dozing in the bardo and missed the ferry over to this side.

Let’s admit it: You are a tad one sided (understated English humor for you, an Anglo-Canadian). And tell them of how many Anglo-Canadians were ruined when Quebec went French while you’re at it.

My Uncle Pete up in Fruita (froo-‘eat-a), Colorado had to take down his “hate display” because of the SJWs, Antifas, fem-boys & offended cat-ladies who plied him night & day with death threats, bomb threats & other criminal acts of mischief & illegal demonstrations in front of his house just like they did Tucker.

      https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/13/us/nazi-flag-colorado-protests-trnd/index.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+rss%2Fcnn_latest+%28RSS%3A+CNN+-+Most+Recent%29

Uncle Pete decided it (the intimidation) just is not worth it & agreed to back off a little by taking down his “hate display” but he reserves the right to raise up again his “hate symbols” at any time as an expression of his 1st amendment rights as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution.

      • SoftStarLight November 16, 2018 at 2:29 pm #

Your uncle Pete does have first amendment rights and those “protestors” have no right to do what they are doing. But the establishment fully supports their activities and will not prosecute one of them I am sure for making vile threats and acting criminally.

To me a Confederate flag is beautiful. The American flag is beautiful too based on what it historically represented. I guess many Americans have pride in their history and culture. What do you see that is weird about that?

Well I was thinking about that as I wrote, EF. That’s why I find it weird. I don’t find the fetishisation of pieces of patterned fabric has entirely helped matters of the years.

Sticking flags outside your house is on a level with slogans on tee shirts to my mind – and I’m not into communication by tee shirt either. I can see their purpose at an international sports tournament or for a regiment going to war, but nobody I know needs a flag outside their house to remind them what country they live in or who they are.

But each to his own. I hope it never catches on here, as I prefer things that bring people together over things that divide them.

          • Janos Skorenzy November 16, 2018 at 9:18 pm #

What a grotesque sentiment! Pure glow ballism. Merkel throwing the German flag in the corner to the applause of her traitorous colleagues. American Universities taking down our Flag so as not “alienate” foreign students. The Church taking down Catholic iconography so as not to “alienate” non-Catholic students in CATHOLIC schools. Etc.

Separation keeps us human. Call it division or alienation if you will, but good borders creates good neighbors. Togetherness for the sake of togetherness is the ideology of the cancer cell.

          • GreenAlba November 16, 2018 at 9:29 pm #

I have nothing against good borders, Janos, as you very well know. Don’t extrapolate in your usual devious manner.

          • Janos Skorenzy November 16, 2018 at 9:58 pm #

Of course you don’t – as long as those borders are porous and let in the Alien so as to invalidate the Reality of the Nation. The Elite love illusion and tricking ordinary people. They will maintain the façade of the Nation State even as they merge them into continental unions like the EU. Now Macron is pushing the envelope to strengthen the latter and weaken the nations that comprise It even more. And from there the Continental Unions will someday be merged into Global Government – with the nations states at most just remaining as tourist traps and/or administrative entities of lesser importance with little real power.

          • GreenAlba November 17, 2018 at 6:51 am #

            Janos

My country is already a merger of four nations. It mostly works fine, apart from very serious post-colonial issues in Northern Ireland, and even there it has worked very well since the Peace Process you are so anxious to throw to the four winds.

If the idiots running Scotland and their investment backers hadn’t been so greedy as to try their luck in Darien, we might still be separate nations. Or we might not. Either way, it’s worked fine for 300 years to most people’s satisfaction, and may yet work fine for a long time yet – we will have to see where the Brexit investment bankers like John Redwood and Jacob Rees-Mogg lead us first.

Another prescient post from Mr K. When it comes to investigations of major DC power players, extreme caution is always exercised, as everyone with any history in that great hall of mirrors knows that pulling on any one string too hard could unravel the tapestry of rampant illegality and corruption all the way back to 9-11 and beyond, and that must never be allowed to happen! The perps’ day in the spotlight is definitely coming, though, even if it’s posthumously for some.

Ah, wouldn’t it just be sublime to haul out Cheney, Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld and especially G.W. for war crimes and put their sorry asses on trial?

      • Paulo November 16, 2018 at 10:32 am #

Yes it would and people should be calling for it. Instead we have writings like this sentence, right out of Breitbart.

” The buzz is that Mr. Trump delayed this before the midterm elections due to threats from our “intel community” that the documents would compromise our relations with foreign intel outfits in friendly lands — namely the aforementioned MI6 of the UK. ”

Here’s the real buzz. There are troops stringing razor wire on the southern border for a non-existent invasion (if we look at the lack of tweets since the midterms). Wouldn’t it be better to see those troops deployed, say to California where they could help with fire fighting logistics and support services for folks living in tents behind Walmart? The Country is a joke and Trump is destroying it one tweet and stupid decision at a time. Quck, set up a gofund me page to get Trump to Mar a Lago where he can’t do any monkey business. Oh, taxpayers already pay for it. Oh well. MAGA.

        • Cavepainter November 16, 2018 at 11:28 am #

“Non-existent invasion”? Why not in addition to razor wire serve Mexico with suit for damages attributable to its encouraging and facilitating violation of our border and immigration laws. If we remained a sovereign nation Mexico’s action would be classified as an act of war. You, by contrast, are advocating that our national destiny default to however many foreign nationals choose to ignore our sovereignty.

Wouldn’t have happened over here in Switzerland. Why? Because of shoveling 55% of their national treasure down the DoD rathole, they chose to have a serious infrastructure, which meant spending extra money to bury their power lines.

          • SoftStarLight November 16, 2018 at 4:21 pm #

Yeah, and White Genocide denial is disgusting and despicable.

          • GreenAlba November 16, 2018 at 6:44 pm #

Which actual incidents of ‘white genocide’ are you comparing with Nazi concentration camps?

Are you even aware that there were Nazi labour camps on UK soil? And that some of the occupied population nearly starved during the last winter? Maybe your people just didn’t get a decent taste of the filth that you promote.

          • SoftStarLight November 16, 2018 at 7:48 pm #

Right Alba, the hundreds of thousands of Americans who were killed and maimed liberating ungrateful Europeans didn’t have any taste of the horrors of war. Exactly what filth am I promoting? If promoting the interests of White people is the filth you speak of then I am guilty. I assume you consider any Black or Brown person who promotes the interests of their race filthy? Oh right, probably not because they are too sacred.

White Genocide is being executed in planned and subtle ways by nearly all Western governments. Are we being shuffled off to the concentration camps? Not yet. But here in the States the FEMA camps are ready. And in your country don’t despair. The Muslims have grand plans for you all. I wish you would wake up.

          • GreenAlba November 16, 2018 at 9:04 pm #

            SSL

The filth I refer to is Nazism. I’d have thought that was perfectly clear.

Don’t twist my words. I said you were not occupied by the Nazi scum and you did not therefore have their camps on your territory – nor did any part of your territory suffer near starvation under Nazi occupation.

“The Muslims have grand plans for you all. I wish you would wake up.”

Of course, I keep forgetting what a vast tract of life experience you base your judgements on. Except that it’s hardly five minutes since you were thanking Janos for opening your eyes.

And please remember that the US declined to join the war to ‘liberate the Europeans’ until it was attacked by the Japanese. Otherwise we’d still have been waiting for the cavalry and depending on the Soviets, who sacrificed almost 9 million military personnel.

And please stop referring to an entire people as a ‘brood of vipers’. It’s grotesque. And you might want to remember where you are and have some manners in the matter.

          • GreenAlba November 16, 2018 at 9:11 pm #

And I have sat in a Muslim war cemetery on Corsica looking at the names of those in the Muslim regiment who also died to liberate the Europeans in WWII. Whatever ‘plans’ they had for their lives were somewhat frustrated, for the sake of their non-Muslim brothers.

There are better ways to live, SSL, than filling your life with hate.

          • Janos Skorenzy November 16, 2018 at 9:22 pm #

Yeah and look up how many European women those African mercenaries raped. What a grotesque sentiment. And yes, even Franco was reduced to using them in order to fight off the Communist butchers.

          • GreenAlba November 16, 2018 at 9:22 pm #

None of which means I am not grateful to those who fought with the British and the rest of the Allies, such as Walter’s family members.

But do remember that you agree in everything with Janos, who claims your soldiers fought on the wrong side. Is that what you think too?

          • SoftStarLight November 16, 2018 at 9:31 pm #

You remind me of a teacher :-). Not trying to be facetious at all. You constantly remind me of my age and you throw me off my course with statements like, “there are other ways to live.” Oh yes, and reminding me to mind my manners. I will, but the problems that face us are existential and White people are under attack. The brood of vipers comment was never directed at an entire people. The Pharisees were the cream of the crop of their society. The cream of the crop still rule over us.

          • SoftStarLight November 16, 2018 at 9:42 pm #

“Sigh on your other comment…I know what you are doing there and I am not going to fall into the trap ;-).”

I know what you are trying to do too, SSL, you are trying to have it both ways.

And yes, I was not just a teacher but also a Sunday School teacher. We didn’t teach the little’uns the kind of things you would teach them though.

          • SoftStarLight November 17, 2018 at 11:11 am #

Gosh I knew I was pretty perceptive! You shouldn’t extrapolate that my manner of conversation here reflects on my interactions with kids. There is a time and place for everything and this place in my mind is a place where adults can discuss things. I am not a total idiot :-). And I have no clue what you mean about me trying to have it both ways. I am just being me. If I happen to agree with him alot maybe he is saying things that ring true for me. Everybody disagrees at some point in time. I can’t help that we have not come to that place yet.

          • GreenAlba November 18, 2018 at 10:13 am #

By having things both ways, I merely meant that (a) you commented on the bravery of your servicemen fighting the Nazis (a point on which we agree) and (b) you also defend the Nazis, egged on by Janos (a point on which we clearly do not agree).

I find these two sentiments contradictory, just as I find any admiration for the Nazis and their ideas an insult to the brave men from your country who died to save Europe from them.

People on here know I used to teach – it’s not a secret.

          • SoftStarLight November 18, 2018 at 1:25 pm #

The jury is still out for me on all of that. At least with the Nazis my people would live. Now that America is becoming full tilt communist/progressive my people perish. Maybe all of the sacrifice was for naught since our country has been stolen from us. And they used our goodwill and morality against us. Same in Europe. The Muzzies will truly be what the Nazis never were. I do dare you to blaspheme Allah or Mohammad in your country. Tommy Robinson was jailed and harrassed for simply uncovering the crimes of a Muslim rape gang.

          • GreenAlba November 18, 2018 at 9:00 pm #

OK, so let’s take the issues one at a time.

You are not quite decided whether to throw in your lot entirely with the Nazis. But ‘at least’ they’d let your people live. So, historically, the price of that ‘at least’ would be the murder of six million Jews, plus assorted gypsies, homosexuals and mentally handicapped people. Well, we are getting the picture of your pact with the devil ‘at least’.

Moving on, would it be too much to ask that you don’t spread lies and fake news about things that happen in the UK? If I knew as little as you clearly do about the ‘Tommy Robinson’ case in reference to something happening in your country, I’d have the decency to keep my mouth shut.

So now we have ‘Tommy Robinson’ as some kind of heroic sleuth? You’re funny. Actually, no.

The actual name of the person in question is Stephen Lawrence – he uses the pseudonym ‘Tommy Robinson’ because it is the name of the leader of a bunch of football thugs he admires.

He’s already familiar with jail because he’s been behind bars for mortgage fraud. He’s also been behind bars for assault. He was convicted of assaulting an off-duty policeman who, I believe, intervened to help his partner with whom he was fighting.

Now, in terms of his current shenanigans, he did not in any way ‘uncover the crimes of a Muslim rape gang’. You either made that up or you read it in one of your idiotic fake news sources. Which is it?

What actually happened was that the Muslim rape gang were on trial and Stephen Lennox put the conviction in jeopardy by interfering with judicial process and attempting to film the trial to relay it to his followers. Which is illegal. Not once but twice. So he TWICE JEOPARDISED THE CONVICTIONS OF RAPISTS ON TRIAL, which could have led to the whole thing being abandoned and the rapists having to be retried. Which was why he was jailed for contempt of court. Twice.

It was more important to him, as an attention-seeking publicity whore, that he get his attention fix than that those girls get justice.

Uncovering the crimes of a rape gang…seriously. The ignorance you are happy to spread boggles the mind.
He’s a piece of work, your ‘Tommy’. But he’s doing damned well out of it.

            https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/lostinshowbiz/2018/oct/25/theres-no-such-thing-as-a-free-lunch-try-telling-that-to-tommy-robinson

The Guardian is a left-wing publication. Clearly they would not have anything good to say about him…

          • SoftStarLight November 18, 2018 at 9:58 pm #

And I have made no pact with anyone. Over what? I am not in politics at any level anyway other than I vote. Your paranoia is a little dramatic.

          • GreenAlba November 19, 2018 at 7:54 am #

The Guardian is a publication which can be sued for libel if it defames someone’s reputation by lying about them. Stephen Lennox is currently being bankrolled by the alt-right in the US (among others) because he is a useful propaganda tool for them, so he can sue if he wants to.

I gave you some facts about the convictions of Stephen Lennox.

I asked you a simple question: Did you make up the lie about him uncovering a rape gang rather than attempting to obstruct the course of justice or did you get this ‘information’ from a fake news source? If the latter, it would be helpful if you could provide its identity so that readers may know that it is an unreliable source of information. Thanks.

          • GreenAlba November 19, 2018 at 8:00 am #

And the bit of your instruction manual that covers this kind of dishonesty is ‘Thou shalt not bear false witness…’ in case you momentarily forgot.

          • GreenAlba November 19, 2018 at 9:11 am #

And ‘Tommy’s’ convictions, including the assault and the mortgage fraud, are a matter of public record.

If you remotely cared about the truth you could check. No need to read a newspaper you don’t respect but which did relay the facts that are on public record, or the fake news source you already used, in the event that you didn’t invent it all.

There is no way to defuse the daisy chained explosive devices that each of the miscreants carries within them short of a 911, Building 7 kind of controlled demolition. One healthy man of average or even below average strength could push a car for a mile. Or a woman of average strength. The only hard part is getting it going. But not even a dozen very powerful men could push a car unless – unless what?

Unless they’re all pushing in the same direction. We simply don’t have that anymore. The caravans will be stopped and then the people let in as refugees. The idea of just not letting people in seems to be gone – and therefore so is America. This troops on the border looks like it may be just a stunt. Obama did the same thing at one point.

Hitler got legally elected – and then He took control. Trump doesn’t seem daring enough to do what must be done. Legally, we can’t even use the army to protect our own borders at this point. Our army is only supposed to be used to invade the Middle East or wherever else the Elite choose. How effed up is that?

I guess if it keeps going this way then it will come down to street action and from what I am seeing online many people are preparing for that very possibility. I still think there are many people who are not going to let it go down without a fight.

I do, clearly. And I’d have thought you’d be a bit more selective about it too, but you never can tell with religious people. They are not always what they seem.

And your god, if he existed, would probably feel a little irritated by that particular one too, given that the little sh*t with the capital ‘H’ killed a whole lot of his ‘chosen people’.

Wow Janos, that’s a hot one, even for you.

“Hitler got legally elected — and then he took control” (I will not capitalize the pronoun as you did, because that creeps me right out).

The historical facts are as follows:

Germany held an election in November 1932 which resulted in a runoff victory for Paul von Hindenburg. At that point, Hindenburg was 84 years old and in poor health, but was persuaded to run anyway by appeals to his sense of patriotic duty (he despised Hitler and many felt that Hindenburg had the best chance of defeating him). So he won that election, but by an uncomfortably small margin, and ended up presiding over the final days of the Weimar Republic.

This happened when Hindenburg was forced to dissolve the Reichstag twice in 1932, and was finally pressured to appoint Hitler to the sinecure position of “Chancellor of Germany” in January 1933. From what I understand, the strategy here was something along the lines of “keep your friends close and your enemies closer”. Hitler appeared to be satisfied by this, since he had been demanding a role in the Weimar government; his National Socialist (Nazi) party had won the largest plurality in the 1932 election (no party managed to achieve an actual majority).

After the Reichstag fire in late February, Hindenburg suspended many civil liberties by signing the Reichstag Fire Decree; a few weeks later, he signed the Enabling Act of 1933, which greatly expanded Hitler’s powers. His health continued to decline, and when he finally died in August 1934, Hitler exploited the power vacuum thus created and declared himself Führer und Reichskanzler.

So, no. Not “elected” at all: appointed to a figurehead position from which he seized dictatorial powers once the opportunity arose.

This may seem like nitpicking to you, but then I must disagree. The truth matters, and no amount of politically-motivated spin can change it.

          • SoftStarLight November 16, 2018 at 8:03 pm #

Wow Elrond, I didn’t realize you were a member of a godless priestly elite wielding weapons of truth! Glad to know you never misquote or misuse any ancient texts you have no belief in. So please do sort me out on my misquotes. If you are speaking to Jesus referring to the Jewish Pharisees as a brood of vipers I think you will be the one found wanting if you suggest he did not. You not choosing to be a believer is between you and the God you don’t believe in, but I have not complained to you about anything in this regard.

          • SoftStarLight November 16, 2018 at 8:13 pm #

And see this is the funny thing and I do just have to chuckle, giggle and LOL. Elrond posts John 3:16 for Janos. A post that he by his own admission has no credence or authority in his own mind and heart. So why share? It’s really curious and strange behavior. Why not use secular sources for little drops of trinkets and gems of wisdom. Good psyops if the optics weren’t so silly. LOL!!!!

          • Walter B November 16, 2018 at 8:26 pm #

You are not nit-picking outOfTheMoney, you are simply correcting a false statement. The old “appointment” gig, yes it happens in local politics so often that it would appear to be the plan. Politicians quit, die, move on and those with the power push their people into the voids. Once in office, it is very difficult to extricate them and a dirt sucking maggot Hitler had to be forced from his office by a pissed off world hell bent on doing exactly that. Going to war with the rest of the world is always a fatal mistake and it is one that America has now been mission-creeping into for many a decade. Perhaps those that escaped the trials at Nuremberg found new homes here and infected the process. In any case, it is not good.

          • Walter B November 16, 2018 at 8:55 pm #

Yes SoftStarLite, our friend from the frozen northern wastes may not be an American, yet he can criticize how we Americans act and are incorporated as a nation. He can utilize a Book he has no faith in to “teach” us all a lesson, and he can profess to be a guardian of the Truth nonetheless.

Let him. It may not be easy, but allow him his choice and hope as I do, that it works out well for him, for his abject failure shall bring us no comfort, will it? Many are called and few are chosen, and the biggest mistake that we who believe can make (IMHO) is allowing those who do not believe to have any influence whatsoever on we who do. Let them go, it is better for all if we do so.

          • SoftStarLight November 16, 2018 at 9:16 pm #

Yes Walter, I am totally cool with Elrond speaking his mind. But that approach from on high just never does me any favors. I often admit my lack of knowledge on topics, and also I don’t profess to be a Bible expert. The fact that I have stated that I do believe in God though appears to be problematic. Oh well, I am good with being a problem ;-).

          • Janos Skorenzy November 16, 2018 at 9:27 pm #

Lincoln too, was a great man for the Bible quotes even though he did not believe. Or Walt’s “man of peace”, the Reverend Martin Luther King: communist, plagiarist, sex addict who beat a White prostitute on the eve of his assassination.

          • GreenAlba November 16, 2018 at 9:50 pm #

“The fact that I have stated that I do believe in God though appears to be problematic.”

Believing it isn’t a problem at all, SSL Telling people with utter certainty and presumption that they’re going to be ‘wiped out’ and will spend eternity in a sulphurous pit, just because that’s what you believe isn’t considered good form on most websites. Nor is telling another bunch of readers – and your host – that they’re a ‘brood of vipers’.

Or perhaps you’re only aiming at the Pharisees amongst the readership.

Maybe you could go for a more modest, insightful approach, which would be less abrasive. I’m sure god will forgive you – doubtless there are streets in your own home town where you can ‘witness’ to great effect to make up for it.

          • Janos Skorenzy November 16, 2018 at 9:52 pm #

Yes, one must be flexible. Trump must seize power in one way or another, under some guise or other, by hook or by crook.

Doing Right is what matters most – and that means saving the historic Nation of America and the People who comprise it. Democracy could never accomplish such a task and the Nation is too far gone for the legitimate Republican process to work. Thus we are back to Kings and Caesars. The Trump Dynasty. King Donald the First.

Or would you rather King Obama – under a Communist guise?

          • Elrond Hubbard November 16, 2018 at 9:56 pm #

Walter B: “he can criticize how we Americans act and are incorporated as a nation”.

Sure I can. Words are cheap, and this place is full of ’em. Certainly nobody here hesitates to use Canada (or their idea of Canada) as a foil to make their own points; nor to take cheap shots at our Prime Minister when they feel like it, which is often. Why should I care? I didn’t vote for him, and I’m happy to have a debate when it comes to more substantial matters.

Walter B: “He can utilize a Book he has no faith in to ‘teach’ us all a lesson, and he can profess to be a guardian of the Truth nonetheless.”

And why shouldn’t I, Walter? There’s this idea that out of all the words ever written, there’s this one bag of ideas that should be off limits. Only people of faith get to refer to those ideas; they’re beyond criticism; and if I dare re-frame those ideas in a way that doesn’t come pre-approved by people of faith, that can only mean I’m a hypocrite who should stay in his lane. All this would be plain silly, if it weren’t so sinister. Your own Founding Fathers knew exactly what they were doing when they forbade the establishment of a state religion (and the Bill of Rights is the best thing the United States ever did, bar none).

SoftStarLight: “The fact that I have stated that I do believe in God though appears to be problematic”.

Not one bit, SSL. I’m not one of those imperious New Atheists who declare ‘faith is for the weak, blah blah’. But as I said to Walter, I do reject wholeheartedly the idea that the actual content of faith should be off limits. Thomas was right to doubt.

Alba please tell me where I have told someone on here that they are going to burn in hell????? Also, the reference to the “wiping-out” that I ever recall making was a comment to someone else several threads ago simply clarifying a verse regarding the second coming. I can’t help what is written so don’t blame me for it.

I am glad you have invested in my conduct. I didn’t realize that CFN had a house mom :-). I thought those days were over for me but here we are. I’ll make sure to keep an eye on my online manners and habits. I was just quoting what Jesus said. Pharisees = Elite = Pharisees so I am sure you know my sentiments. Thanks for telling me to hit the street corners.

          • SoftStarLight November 16, 2018 at 10:37 pm #

Feel free to question Elrond. I am not going to bash you for it. Nor do I presume you should believe.

            SSL

I only commented on your propensity to insult entire races, as Janos does and your chilling way of looking forward to the bulk of humanity meeting a vile end you hope to avoid.

There are ‘house dads’ on here too, but they tend to opine occasionally that people not as right wing as them would be better kicked off the site. Not that they believe in censorship or anything, but, but…

          • GreenAlba November 17, 2018 at 7:48 am #

I should probably clarify that my comment about manners was (a) only a suggestion (a house mom would perhaps have given you a detention!) and (b) only related to our host, who is kind enough to let us write all manner of comments here and, for his pains, has to put up with a broad battering of antisemitism and Holocaust denial (of which I do not accuse you – you merely offered an excuse for it).

If you are OK with that, I can’t argue with you. If I went on a site run by a Nazi…well it wouldn’t happen, so no point in going there.

          • SoftStarLight November 17, 2018 at 11:30 am #

Yeah, I guess you are right about the house dads too :-). But see, I am a Daddy’s girl. Momma was always always constantly on my case to do this, do that, this is not good enough, your not measuring up and maybe you never will, mind this, watch what you are doing or there will be consequences and a little slap on the face here and there for backtalk.

I couldn’t do wrong though in Daddy’s eyes. The rules weren’t there the same way and thus the paranoia of always watching what I did. No he was easy to talk to and yes I could laugh and feel a little more free. So there is your psychoanalysis Dr Freud. You are good at what you do :-). And yes I was grounded like ALL the time.

What we need to experience is a top official being indicted, convicted and sent to jail. Then the American public will finally recognize just exactly the condition of the country. Or, perhaps I am being to optimistic.

    • Anon1970 November 16, 2018 at 11:19 am #

Unfortunately, even sending a top official to jail will not solve the deteriorating financial situation in the US from the Federal government down to recent college graduates burdened with huge amounts of student loan debt. To me, the Russia investigations and Hillary’s misdeeds are mere side shows to the growing national debt, growing unfunded government employee pension liabilities and inadequate savings for retirement by many older Americans. I have never been the US Holocaust Museum in DC but I have read enough books and watched enough movies and documentaries to know that when conditions for average Americans deteriorate sufficiently, they will be looking for a strong man to fix things.

There is a significant body of research suggesting that such revolutionary movements succeed only when the ratio of teenagers to people over 35 exceeds a certain critical threshold.

Current U.S. demographics look nothing like that.

Older people, the thinking goes, typically have too much to protect and are too heavily invested in the status quo to rise up against anything short of an existential threat. A Red Dawn or zombie-apocalypse scenario might do the trick, but garden-variety “economic hardship” probably won’t.

Of course, introduce literal famine and/or hyperinflationary collapse à la 1946 Hungary, and all bets are off.

      • AKlein November 17, 2018 at 12:37 pm #

Yes, I hear you. Nevertheless, I think it would be worth trying. And, by the way, the jail time should be in a medium security prison, not a supermax and not a a white-collar country club. It would be very fulfilling to see a (former) high-ranking public official rubbing elbows with the general population (i.e. g-pop, in prison lingo). Even salutary, methinks. The only downside is that it might offend the other felons.

    • Janos Skorenzy November 16, 2018 at 1:31 pm #

Yes, we desperately needs some people being made examples of. But the Elite protect their own – even their enemies for the most part because in so doing they protect themselves.

          • SoftStarLight November 16, 2018 at 2:19 pm #

You mean policies that favor you? Progressives only care for power and act like rabid dogs.

          • GreenAlba November 17, 2018 at 8:00 am #

“Progressives only care for power and act like rabid dogs.”

            I love a judiciously thought-out and measured observation 🙂 .
I like policies that lead to hard-working people not having to go to food banks. Yet I’ve never had to go to a food bank.

Why would you aim a cheap shot at chip shot and presume s/he is driven by personal selfishness? It reminds me of people who level accusations of ‘politics of envy’ at people who have no wish at all for the things the accusers imagine they envy.

We don’t remotely want a share of Philip Green’s multiple yachts, for example (a British business example) but we get angry that he asset-stripped British Home Stores and left his workers without their pensions to buy the last one. That’s what ‘left-wing’ means to us, where it still has any meaning.

          • SoftStarLight November 17, 2018 at 11:49 am #

Here in the states the progressives routinely work from a standpoint of envy. It’s theirs and they earned it but we want to steal it and redistribute it as WE see fit. Venezuela is a progressive country and its leaders are so power hungry and crazed that they starve and kill their own people. There is evidence for what I speak. Now chipshot, as an individual may very well be, and most likely is a fine person indeed. It’s the ideology that is the problem.

          • GreenAlba November 18, 2018 at 10:20 am #

If you regard Venezuela as ‘progressive’ I can only say we have different definitions of the word in your country and mine.

It seems to me unwise to use the word in US political-speak without inverted commas.

          • SoftStarLight November 18, 2018 at 1:16 pm #

Well I think it appears to be the same though Alba but certainly different means used for the same ends. The end goal of the progressives is the destruction of the autonomous Nation-State. The means used in Venezuela have been up-front violence and terror. In your neck of the woods, in similar fashion to what’s taking place here in the States, they use the slow boil methods of demographic change through unfettered immigration, takeover of all institutions and forms of media, censorship and indoctrination in schools. They are great at what they do because they rely on a bamboozled public to parrot their causes. Many in the public think they support moral causes but they are killing their countries and fellow citizens.

          • GreenAlba November 18, 2018 at 8:04 pm #

“takeover of all institutions and forms of media, censorship and indoctrination in schools.”

Are you sure you are familiar enough with what goes on in a country you’ve never been to to come out with accusations like that? I wouldn’t be so presumptuous in relation to your own.

          • SoftStarLight November 18, 2018 at 9:19 pm #

Hey GreenAlba, what do you think of this story…?

Whistleblower teacher says 17 students in British school are changing genders, some were ‘tricked’

I don’t know if this is fake news or not. But I would like your opinion.

          • GreenAlba November 19, 2018 at 8:58 am #

Hey, Exscotticus, I’ve had a look at your article and my answer is that I haven’t the slightest clue if it is fake news or not, unlike the instance on which I commented above, which I know absolutely to be fake news.

However, you should be aware by now of my views, such as they are, i.e. not based on much more useful knowledge than the average person, except for having worked on a book on the medical and surgical practicalities, but which necessarily included chapters on the ethical issues and on mental health.

There are ethical issues on both sides. Those on the ‘conservative’ side are obvious and I probably share a concern for a good many of them. Those on the other side include the increased difficulties for a young person who may genuinely suffer from gender dysphoria while still a young teenager and who will eventually undergo surgery to make their transition permanent. This increased difficulty obviously arises because of having to undergo more invasive surgery the longer they wait for hormone treatment, puberty having advanced further.

This is clearly a huge dilemma since we are also on dodgy territory in terms of minors being able to make life-changing decisions on such matters, a dilemma I view as extremely important and probably critical. But hormone treatment itself is not irreversible, as far as I understand.

I share the view that many youngsters may well be suffering from various other conditions and ‘unhappinesses’ which may lead them to think their gender issues are a primary cause when they may not be.

But I also do not feel entitled to negate people’s own testimony or treat them like frauds or fools without the slightest proof that that’s what they are. And, as I said, despite being better versed than most lay people on the minutiae of what is technically on offer, I am not a mental health professional and nor have I lived with a young person in that situation, so my views have no more value than those of any random person who has no first-hand familiarity with the issues that matter.

They have us going backwards. We will have to bring ourselves forward. Will is everything :-).

      • Janos Skorenzy November 16, 2018 at 1:41 pm #

Philosophers and Theologians disagree about which comes first: Knowledge or Will? But let’s leave God out of it for a moment and focus on Humanity. In political terms, Knowledge would have to come first. As in deciding who “We” are and who is part of the “We”. Otherwise some would will to push the car east, some west, some north, and some south – the car being America in this analogy.

In personal terms, I think some people develop their hearts first, some their minds, and some their will. Obviously a fully balanced person will have all three in high functioning. America, being born on the Fourth of July, is a Cancer in Astrological terms so we are Heart centered. The Elite are focused on Will first and foremost, and then Mind. Thus they are able to lead us around by the nose of our heart strings. Most ordinary people start with the heart or feelings. Without the influence of the other two, the heart won’t develop past the maudlin’ for the most part.

        • SoftStarLight November 16, 2018 at 2:24 pm #

Seriously, not being silly – you are so smart. I mean to put that together effortlessly. Like I always say…Janos is one step ahead :-). You’re right about the need for a combination of the three and also a determination of the “We”. I am feeling so excitable and on edge right now because of the negative news of the day and I kinda feel like Our people are down.

I am sure it was not fun for the average German to watch his savings deteriorate in value from 4 Reichmarks to the US $ in 1913 to over 1 trillion to the US $ in late 1923, and a few years later, to watch the German unemployment rate soar to around 25% within 2 years after the passage of the Smoot-Hawley tariff in the US in 1930.

  15. BikeDr November 16, 2018 at 11:41 am #

One reason your credibility remains high is the regular focus on the mote in your own eye (Democratic) rather than in the obvious ugliness of the Trump acolytes. I have never voted for Hillary although she seemed “over-criticized” for her health care efforts, firing of the WH travel staff, etc. Libya, e-mails, Foundation shenanigans, etc. is all on her. Her time is clearly past.
Without a restraint on the Empire and/or an ecological focus, national politics seems pointless to me. My district is not voting against the defense budget because we depend on it for good jobs. We may have elected D-Doug Jones but the Democrats were just blown away in the last election with 65% of Alabamians voting straight ticket Republican.Southern white guys support Trump at 85% which I find appalling.
I truly do not understand wrecking other people’s country when you know nothing about them! If I ask do you support bombing Yemen, no one I ask even knows where it is. But sure let’s give DOD another $80 billion to wreck havoc. It is keeping us safe…..

So why didn’t some more refined or qualified person take up their needs and interests?

Answer: They were considered Deplorable long before Hillary uttered the phrase. She may have coined it, but she didn’t invent the attitude by any means. Jeb even believed he could win without the White Base. I mean besides being bullshit, why would he even have an attitude like that? Face it: Middle and Lower Class Whites have been deeply wronged by the Elite – and we always hate those whom we have wronged. And surprise, surprise, they will hate you back sooner or later. Whites have been very slow to take up the cudgel but now We have. Read Kipling’s “When the Anglo-Saxon Learns to Hate”. As he says, It did not start quickly and it will not soon abate.

So true. Remember Obama’s ‘bitter clingers?’ Clinging to their guns & Bibles, he claimed. This will be slow to start but ignition has begun. Ordinary folks are getting pissed off.

        • If the deplorables weren’t so chock full of pride, they’d recognize that their situation is largely self generated.

They’re inscenced being regarded as fools, yet they act like fools.

For example, West Virginians voting to keep their coal jobs after a century of poisoning themselves. Sure, you can stake out the high ground, so to speak. The urbanites on the other side of the Adirondack wouldn’t stock up for the hillbillies, so they stuck it to them, or something, by being working class badasses. Aaaand, they all got the black lung while New York and Washington loaded up on that cheap electricity.

Unfortunately I expect the deplorable uprising to end a lot like other deplorable uprisings, with civic infrastructure destroyed, and the Walmart looted of its flat screens, and everybody will go back to drinking the lead laced tapwater. More likely in my mind is no uprising at all, due to aforementioned lead, maybe some new fracking chems.

An intelligent social reformation has to have some organizational goals- which, if it’s just more demands for plug-in benefits to the existing order of things- it is attainable. Then it has to have competency at a minimum, to achieve it. At whatever level, nonexistent procedural goals guarantee nothing much happening.

The only real alternative I can see would be like the Huttites, Amish, or other sect. The only time America intersects with their organization is when a Bucks county drunk slams into one of their buggies.

If you mean the people of the Appalachians, it isn’t their pride alone, although they have plenty of that. The Bible means something to them, unlike our permanent globalist-oriented elite class, who have no conception of nation or religion except as fear-mongering techniques.

Oh Jim, comes a point when you have to acknowledge the reality of how governments work. It isn’t about constitutions and laws. That’s for the people, i.e. the deplorables. No truer words spoken by Hillary exposes what the elites assume about the masses. This fantasy you’ve concocted is about as realistic as pigs learning to fly.
If the truth were ever to be exposed and culprits were brought to justice there would be two people left in DC to govern the folks. And since they did not have their hand in the till like all the rest, it would not bode well for their governing style as they were not smart enough to figure out the game.
Most likely scenario: those two innocents would be the ones charged.
Let’s be honest — they are all crooks, and the only ones that get caught are the expendables, and the troublemakers, or the ignorant.
The game goes on . . . and we talk, and talk, and write about it . What about this one, that one, this event, that one? What does it mean, its significance in the larger scheme of things?
But then, if you were ever to acknowledge the truth of the situation you would be out of a job, wouldn’t you Jim? The truth cannot be exposed. Most writing about politics is a form of masturbation where one gets off sounding clever, with it, savvy, in the loop.

Trump does not want to give publicity to all shameful pages of American history connected with Hillary Clinton, which America used to be proud of.

He is trying to defeat Hillary, without giving publicity to the fact that at 27 she forced the US president to resign for having erased 3 hours of his talks with assistants, which presumably damn him as the organizer of the eavesdropping of democratic party at the Watergate Hotel, and she herself wiped out tens of thousands of her letters, exposing her as the creator of ISIS and the organizer of the assassination of US Ambassador to Libya Stevens for wanting to expose her supplies of Gaddaffi weapons to Syria.

Instead, he is trying to put Hillary in jail in fulfillment of his most important election promise made during the election campaign, exposing her flying monkeys as organizers of the illegal eavesdropping of his election campaign. And since the FBI and the so-called US intelligence community were sabotaging his orders, he is trying to achieve this by creating a second special prosecutor’s office to investigate the eavesdropping of his election campaign and fabricate evidence, on the basis of which the Mueller special commission was created.

This became known when the judge investigating the case of Michael Flynn ordered his lawyers to return the case in which General Flynn pleaded guilty six months ago, and all the leading experts of the powerful US bar association said that it happens very rarely when very good reasons to assume that the witness was forced to admit his guilt by illegal methods.

EXS sezs: If she’ll lie about her own ancestry and heritage, she’ll lie about anything.

Both Warren’s family history and her DNA showed she wasn’t lying.

Besides, if the outcome of the election depends on whether a candidate told a lie, DJT is going to lose in 2020. Nobody lies as much as Trump.

To legally claim you’re a Native American, you need a Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) from the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA).

1/1024 is a joke. No tribe will accept that. And it is real Native Americans who ultimately decide who is and isn’t one of their own.

Perfidy? The air has been fairly reeking of it for decades ever since they started telling us about the new wondrous scheme of open borders to money and people and how all this would make for millions of new jobs and prosperity for all. Well, it all was a fairy-tale, self evidently so, and the Brits, to their great credit, had the balls to call bullshit with their Brexit vote, trying to re-take control of their own country and their own borders. Hurray for the Brits.

But now we have a – cough – Brexit deal, which according to some stuff I read amounts to a no exit Brexit as Euro and Brit bankers and elites try to salvage their self-enrichment scam.

The EU became more and more a fool’s errand as it diverged from its original intent, that being pre-emptive surrender by France to Germany in the immediate post-war period, turning into an unworkable multi-national monetary and economic shambles. How it all comes apart is still in the future, does it come down via a controlled demolition with minimal collateral damage, or with spasms of civil strife, for example, as the magnitude of elite treachery in general and May’s betrayal and Tory incompetence in particular become known?

The US isn’t the only place dealing with the after-effects of elite self-dealing and the consequent ruin of huge swathes of the population. The mire of mendacity as the moneyed set and their enabling clerisy try to obscure their raw idiocy (at best) or sheer criminality and treason (at worst) is the real spectacle. The magnitude of the lies is akin to Japanese leadership re-writing history to insist that Japan won WW2, that it was the US that surrendered.

And so we have Hillary swept up in a swirl of events she clearly does not comprehend, telling us that she’s the rightful president, that if it wasn’t for those dastardly Russians, she would have won. But the real question is how somebody of Trump’s ilk could have got to where he was in the first place in this wondrous world of new economic opportunity. Well, it was racism and fascism at work according to Hillary and her allies, Deplorables behaving deplorably.

It wasn’t, people that voted twice for Obama figured accurately that they’d been had. The shit-fits by the Deep State are instructive, the world they constructed to benefit themselves and their Davos masters is coming apart, they’re lying like hell to save it and to prevent their main actors from going down the garbage chute of history. In this they’ll use veneers of legal process like the Mueller and FBI investigations give cover and conceal the facts.

It’s like the end of the USSR, perfidy, treachery, duplicity, deceit until the liars don’t even pretend to believe the lies anymore.

And yet my taxes will pay for their unemployment benefit after Brexit when the likes of Nissan ups sticks to the EU from Brexit-loving Sunderland. Nice ‘work’ if you can get it.

Many northern English will tell you they have much more in common with the Scots than they do with the Southern English.

The southern English will do their best to destroy their unemployment benefits and leave them to food banks. They would by wise not to look to the Rees-Moggs and Johnsons for help.

We will only be able to help them out, of course, for as long as we remain in the Union. If we do not remain in it, our northern English neighbours, even the Brexit ones, are welcome to come and join us.

The Picts fought the Celts in the first millennium. Braveheart and Robert Bruce fought the British to a standstill in the Middle Ages. And you all are still fighting each other.

            Questions?

            1. Why? Is this nothing but ethnocentrism? If so, sure sounds like what the US Is doing with Latinos et al.

            2. What is the big difference, rationally, between the English feeling of separation from the EU and its bureaucracy and the Scottish and Irish opinions. Or all that it is is the spirit of William Wallace still walking the British Isles.

          • GreenAlba November 16, 2018 at 3:32 pm #

No, I would not, volodya. But if Brexit does as much damage as it is likely to I may just vote for Independence next time out of outrage at what has been perpetrated against the working people of the UK. And to take control back from the Brexit globalists.

            See how it works?

I had a long chat with my Irish brother-in-law in Dublin this morning. He, like many others, reckons Brexit will almost inevitably lead to the UK losing Northern Ireland. Not that he really wants the bigots of Northern Ireland of either side messing up life in the Republic, but it seems inevitable. He doesn’t think it will happen peacefully, though, because of said bigots on either side. He would rather they fought out their bigotries among themselves, though, rather than infect Ireland with them.

Talk about the law of unintended consequences from the Conservative AND UNIONIST Party.

“Braveheart and Robert Bruce fought the British to a standstill in the Middle Ages. ”

            JohnAZ

The British did not exist in the Middle Ages. I’ll take the rest with a pinch of salt.

We have had peace in Northern Ireland since the Good Friday agreement. And during Indyref1 in Scotland (I voted against as I am for the union, despite its ‘issues’) Scotland was persuaded by the Tories in particular that voting to remain in the union was the best way to retain EU membership, since Scotland would not be accepted as a separate member by the EU (which did not want to give ideas to the Catalans).

That worked out well, didn’t it?

You overestimate the everyday differences between us. If I drive over the border to Alnmouth or Carlisle, the people are just like the people here. They have a slightly different English accent, as do the people in Aberdeen to the north of me. The people of Berwick on Tweed, which straddles the border, do not consider themselves either English or Scottish if you ask them, but they just live like everyone else as well. It’s just banter that means nothing in everyday life.

I should really have said Berwick straddles the Tweed, rather than the border. It is technically in England (the River Tweed is the border beyond that that point, but it feels more Scottish and has been both during its history. There have even been calls to reincorporate it into Scotland.

In fact there is an apocryphal tale which has it that it is still technically in a state of war with Russia:

For anecdotal amusement value only – clearly not actually true.

      Yes Volodya,
But what goes up, must come down.
      Case in point:
      DJIA @ 5000 – 21NOV1995
      @ 6000 – 14OCT1996
5000 point gain in one year ( 1st time in 121 year history)- JUL2017
      How does it correct ?
By selling it back to 1995, yes?
The parasite has killed its host, which, very soon, must be allowed to replenish. Idiotic P/E’s, fueled by buy-backs does not an economy make, and they always discover that fact too late.
On a significant scale, they’re never smart enough to sell it to the trough.
I’m thinking that the antics that we saw in 2007- 2011 will not happen this time; the Davos set is already in the barbershop waiting for their long overdue haircut.
Perhaps we will end up with the US notes that got JFK killed.
For the last few years, I’ve been noticing a growing number of Porsches, Audis, and even Bentleys in my part of town.
I do hope that the owners had the sense to pay cash.
The McMansions being constructed on lots that have been vacant since before the 1920’s, the remnants of estates, are predictably ostentatious, and built cheaply.
I think that they’re going to go out with a bang, and a whimper.
But they’ll be back, which as strange as it sounds, is a good thing.
They have to do it for the Children.

My Youngest Millennial showed me a meme yesterday.
On one side, was a new I phone, priced at $1000.00.
On the other, an AK 47, 1000 rounds of ammunition, and a copy of the Bhagavad Gita, priced at $ 700.00.

THE WRATH OF THE AWAKENED SAXON
    by Rudyard Kipling

It was not part of their blood,
It came to them very late,
With long arrears to make good,
When the Saxon began to hate.

    They were not easily moved,
They were icy — willing to wait
Till every count should be proved,
Ere the Saxon began to hate.

Their voices were even and low.
Their eyes were level and straight.
There was neither sign nor show
When the Saxon began to hate.

It was not preached to the crowd.
It was not taught by the state.
    No man spoke it aloud
When the Saxon began to hate.

    It was not suddently bred.
    It will not swiftly abate.
    Through the chilled years ahead,
When Time shall count from the date
That the Saxon began to hate.

“This destiny does not tire, nor can it be broken, and its mantle of
strength descends upon those in its service.” – Francis Parker Yockey,
    IMPERIUM

JS: Were more beautiful words ever spoken than Yockey’s? Seldom. This is right up there with “Strength through Joy” or the Gettysburg Address. It came with the poem and I decided to leave it there. Surely it fits. Enough of the Scots and their wankery. Cut them lose and let the Irish conquer them again.

That sure sounds like a false choice to me, Tate.

          • Tate November 16, 2018 at 10:05 pm #

So you acknowledge they are your allies. Where are you on the Progressive stack? White male, straight I assume (questioning perhaps?) That means you’re on the bottom. Do you like to be a bottom? Are you a masochist? That’s usually a woman’s trait. That’s why they often love to be beaten, that & the presumption that the man is always guilty.

          • GreenAlba November 17, 2018 at 8:51 am #

Crikey Tate, have you seen your therapist lately?

          • SoftStarLight November 17, 2018 at 11:52 am #

The man is not always guilty. Women often give off mixed signals. Because some women are kinda mixed up about it lol.

          • Tate November 17, 2018 at 1:58 pm #

            I don’t have a therapist & never have had. That’s a Woody Allen thing.

I’ll refer you to F.Roger Devlin’s “Sexual Utopia in Power” in regards to masochism being a trait of women (in varying degrees). It’s a natural adaptation to the roles females are best suited for. See chapter 7, “the Question of Female Masochism.”

The author repeats the famous anecdote of Elizabeth Taylor & her then-husband Mike Todd getting into a knock-down drag-out fight at the home of Debbie Reynolds. Debbie jumped on Todd’s back as he was dragging Liz across the floor by her hair. Todd & Taylor both turned on her. Taylor said to Reynolds, “Debbie, you’re such a Girl Scout. Don’t be such a square.” Lots of women like to be treated rough. It has the added advantage that they then hold all the cards if they need to ditch him later on. Most divorces are initiated by the woman.

This isn’t a moral judgement. This stereotype holds water.

          • GreenAlba November 18, 2018 at 10:24 am #

Calm down, Tate. I was kidding. And I don’t put much value in anecdotes about Slebs when it comes to realities about life for the rest of us.

        • Exscotticus November 16, 2018 at 9:21 pm #

Kindly point to the law that governs White House press passes.

There’s no law requiring the White House to even have press briefings, and Trump could end them right now.

“Rule of law” is not some judge making a decision that is beyond the law.

          • Elrond Hubbard November 17, 2018 at 12:51 pm #

Exscotticus, I was responding to Tate‘s remark that “our President is a moderate who defers to the legal procession”, which is right there in plain sight. Abiding the law and accounting to the public is the least a self-respecting nation must demand of its chief executive. Anything less is defining expectations unacceptably downwards.

Trump could end press briefing right now, I suppose. The more steps the USA takes down that path of unaccountable government, the closer it gets to needing to give the tree of liberty a good watering.

          • Exscotticus November 17, 2018 at 1:56 pm #

The problem now isn’t an unaccountable government; it’s an unaccountable press.

The prima donna fake news MSM needs to be reminded that they’re also not above the law. If all they’re going to do is push their own ideological narratives in the guise of unbiased news, then they’re not merely useless but dangerous, and we might as well give the tree of liberty a good trimming.

I’m tempted to recommend you go whole hog and start advocating to repeal the First Amendment entirely, since you clearly despise the principles it’s based on. But really, it would serve your cause better to leave it on the books, and just ignore it. Free advice, from me to you.

          • Exscotticus November 18, 2018 at 12:01 pm #

LOL so you think 1A allows a judge to order someone to let them into their HOME?! So let’s assume you lived in the USA and not Canada. So if you invite me into your home, and I start insulting you, and you have me removed—I can then run to a judge and claim you violated my 1A rights?

The White House is the President’s home. He has a right to kick out whomever he wants.

Meanwhile, try mouthing off to a judge in a courtroom the way Jim Acosta does at the White House. You will see just how quickly judges make an exception for themselves when it comes to public accommodations, rules, and 1A rights. You’ll go directly from the courtroom to jail. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200.

          • Elrond Hubbard November 18, 2018 at 1:21 pm #

The evidence really keeps piling up. Let’s be clear about how America works: The White House is not the property of the sitting President. It’s the property of the American people. It’s the place provided by the people to the president, to do the country’s business — the country’s business. What’s more, the design of American governance absolutely relies on the press to see and report, independently of whoever’s in office. Why the fuck else do you think the First Amendment was written and bloody well passed into law centuries ago?

For the current POTUS to declare the press the enemy of the people is the most openly* un-American act ever committed by an American president. But the dire fact is, America is now so far gone from itself that 40% of the people support this perversion of the course of government, present company included. For shame. For absolute shame.

*Other presidents have done things even more un-American, but covertly. Nixon, for example, did a back-door deal with the South Vietnamese government in 1968 to throw the peace talks and deny Johnson a victory leading into the election. We have LBJ on tape describing Nixon’s actions as treasonous. But Nixon didn’t blare his villainy in front of the world, did he? Even someone as nasty as he retained a sense of shame — a virtue unknown to Trump, or his lickspittles.

          • Exscotticus November 18, 2018 at 1:46 pm #

            >>> The White House is not the property of the sitting President. It’s the property of the American people.

Ditto for any courtroom in the USA. Courtrooms do not belong to judges any more than the WH belongs to the Prez. But that doesn’t stop judges from running their courtrooms like little emperors.

You think Trump is bad?! Shit, man, go watch an episode of Judge Judy! She routinely asks questions and then cuts you off before you can get five words out. She’s worse than Kamala Harris.

Here’s an example of a judge citing a woman for contempt for failing to stand before his almighty presence.

Note the hypocrisy: One set of rules for the President in his own lawful residence; another set of rules for judges in their place of work. Unlike the President in the WH, judges don’t live in their courtrooms.

            >>> t’s the place provided by the people to the president, to do the country’s business — the country’s business.

Wrong. It’s the Presidents RESIDENCE. He and his family LIVE there. They SLEEP there. If you want to call it a resdience with a home office then fine. But adding an office to your home does not mean your home is no longer a residence.

            >>> For the current POTUS to declare the press the enemy of the people is the most openly* un-American act ever committed by an American president.

For the MSM to push their fake news narratives in the guise of reporting truth is an attack on Americans. I’m not talking about op-eds; I’m talking about twisting and omitting facts to push specific narratives in what they claim is unbaised journalism, the overall message of which does not accurately portray reality.

Apparently you are entirely unfamiliar with fake news. Would you like me to point out some examples?

          • Elrond Hubbard November 18, 2018 at 10:23 pm #

Don’t trouble yourself starting a dick-measuring contest over who is the bigger liar, Ex, not unless you’re prepared to go all the way. In case you’re not aware, there’s a running tab being kept of the lies and falsehoods that fall relentlessly from the mouth of the man you’re defending:

            http://projects.thestar.com/donald-trump-fact-check/

Each and every entry in the list links to the original source article, tweet, or other documentation of the presidential lie. I call that a pretty impressive documentary record — formidable, actually, at least for those who respect facts (i.e. not Trump supporters). The list is fully indexed and searchable, and as I write this, the count is 3,749 (that’s three thousand, seven hundred and forty-nine) falsehoods.*

A barrel? Son, I’ve got a supertanker full of rebuttals and it’s got your name on it. What’s more, the current POTUS is such a breathtakingly effortless and dedicated liar that if you made your best effort, he’d fill up the list faster than you could ever hope to plow through it. Try if you really want, but consult your cardiologist first, ’cause it won’t be pretty.

            * Trump has been president for 667 days. For the statistically-minded, that’s a pace of 5.6 lies per day. Clearly, despite his desperately unhealthy diet, the man has a very special kind of stamina.

          • Exscotticus November 19, 2018 at 12:08 am #

Since you’ve decided to focus your reply entirely on the fake news MSM, I’ll just assume you’ve capitulated on that whole Trump/Acosta thing.

What remains is you idiotically directing me to some fake truth website?

Trump’s job is not to convey the truth; his job is to lead the nation. The media, on the other hand, is charged with reporting the news.

So your argument is that the MSM doesn’t lie as much as Trump is ludicrous, because Trump isn’t in the truth business, whereas the MSM is.

          • GreenAlba November 19, 2018 at 9:24 am #

Green Alba, yes, there will be a price to pay. But it won’t be paid forever. Unhitching Britain from this preposterous arrangement is way overdue. And the price you pay doesn’t get lower with the passage of time.

Just thank your lucky stars that they had the wisdom to keep the UKP instead of adopting that nonsensical Euro.

Remember the collaborationist toffs that wanted peace with Hitler. The common folk weren’t having it and they gave Churchill political backing and they gave legitimacy to his stance against Germany . Good thing for the common Brit.

In the broad sweep of history the plutocrats lose. Populism beats elitism. I’ll take the common sense of the common people any day.

I do not know the real history of WW2.

Why did the supposed good guys give much of Europe to Stalin?
That shows who really won and it wasnt the good guys.

      • Janos Skorenzy November 16, 2018 at 6:45 pm #

Quite so. After the War, vast numbers of minorities began to be brought into Britain. Is this the way Victors act? No, but it is the way the Defeated are treated. Churchill tried to stop it – he had that much decency at least – but he was shouldered aside.

      • elysianfield November 16, 2018 at 7:15 pm #

        Malthuss,
Well, I DO know the real history of WW2…. The allied powers relied on Stalin’s promises, all the while knowing that they could not muster the 100 Divisions in Europe needed to keep him honest.

Churchill blamed the give away of Eastern Europe on the weakened condition of Roosevelt at the last summit. Yalta I believe. Russia did the boots on the ground in Eastern Europe to wipe out Hitler. The Iron curtain formed not long after.

Dealing with foreign dictators takes max strength, something this country seems to have forgotten thanks to Obama and a give a shit populace.

I get where you’re coming from, but you see things as they fit on your template – globalists v. nationalists and that’s it. I see things in a broader fashion (and the words globalists and nationalists weren’t used by anyone during the debates here).

I hope the links I gave to hmuller will have persuaded you that the Brexit leaders are proud globalists.

So, from my broader point of view, and bearing in mind the reason this website exists, why do you think trying to expand Britain’s trade with countries on the other side of the world is more sensible than concentrating on trade with our nearest neighbours? And how will this work out for Britain as energy shortages hit?

      • Walter B November 16, 2018 at 7:26 pm #

Well the Chinese are certainly concentrating on local trade with the Silk Road that they have been resurrecting in a big way…

        https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/06/china-new-silk-road-explainer/

…so I would not be surprised to see the Brits doing the same. It not only makes sense, but it greatly increases the profit margins or lowers the sell price to increase market share, seller’s choice. The long ocean voyages at great expense to sell to increasing lower income Americans is clearly an idea whose time is passing quickly.

      • JohnAZ November 16, 2018 at 8:20 pm #

        GA

        Interesting.

The NAFTA agreement was an attempt by Reagan-Bush-Clinton to bind the US to our closest neighbors to form a trading bloc. Your viewpoint follows the same line. Britain was the world leader prior to the US, they led the initial connections of the oil industry into the ME. “The sun never sets on the British Empire.”

If Britain needs energy, think where they will go, North Sea, then Russia, along with the real of Europe, then the US.

One common denominator that Liberals do not seem to realize to the point of insanity, the world all of it needs energy, period. Oil is our source of energy and nothing will replace it. Period! Ocasio-Cortez shows herself to be a village idiot by declaring the world will be on renewables. We had better start designing a world now with lower energy needs. That will never happen.

Maybe Scotland and Ireland should worry more about its own islands than continental Europe, worry about its neighbors first. Or maybe the spirits of the Picts, Celts and Anglo-Saxons still walk the land.

By the way, globalists versus nationalists versus localist stem from the fact that the more centralized an organization becomes, the less it cares about the local areas, bureaucracy. Do you really feel closer to the problems of Italy or Greece than the problems of Theresa May?

        • GreenAlba November 16, 2018 at 8:34 pm #

          JohnAZ

No, I don’t feel nearer to the problems of Italy and Greece than the problems of Theresa May, but I feel nearer to the farms of France and Spain than I do to the farms of the US and New Zealand and that’s where I want my food to come from when it can’t come from the UK, because that will use less oil. Why is that bizarre?

          • GreenAlba November 16, 2018 at 8:38 pm #

And the sun has long set on the British Empire, as it does on all empires. Some refuse to come to terms with it, unfortunately, even after all this time.

          • Exscotticus November 16, 2018 at 9:23 pm #

The ubiquity of the English language itself may be the British Empire’s greatest legacy.

It may be also be British tolerance, Exscotticus, since we let y’all spell it every which way you choose and we still refer to it as English 🙂 .

          • GreenAlba November 18, 2018 at 10:34 am #

PS JohnAZ, it’s not just to save oil that I want major trade in food to be from the countries on my doorstep, but because of strategic food security implications.

It always amazes me that people with responsibility for keeping a country safe and fed so easily forget that just because it’s a while since they had to have people dodging enemy submarines and bombers to get food to them, there’s never again going to be a time when their food supply is threatened. In fact I find it mind-boggling.

Likewise that they don’t treat the potential collapse of large parts of the domestic agricultural sector in the face of cheap imports from the other side of the world – imports that come with no promise whatsoever of permanence – as a strategic issue.

          • GreenAlba November 18, 2018 at 10:36 am #

Some bad poetry here today, accompanied by the usual bloviating on the endless evils of the elites. I wouldn’t mind more relevant discourse on things that I don’t know, but that’s a tough bill to fill.

We know about Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort, Michael Cohen, and Donald Trump Jr. and their lines of communication to the Russians.
Jim mentions the usual suspects like Comey, Page, Strzok, etc., still avoiding justice and perhaps still untouchable.

But what about Roger Stone? Not mentioned once, but he could lead to Trump’s downfall:

    http://nymag.com/intelligencer/2018/10/roger-stone-trump-russia-collusion-mueller.html

The caravans of destiny are coming. It is here more than anywhere else so far that Trump can “put on the breastplate of Righteousness and the helmet of Salvation on his head, with garments of vengeance and a cloak of zeal”.

We must go to the Stronghold.

    MAGA NOT MAKA

    • Janos Skorenzy November 16, 2018 at 6:51 pm #

Meditate on Sir Arthur Keith’s Law of Amity and Enmity. You must love your People and hate their Enemies. That is the Law of Life. The fires of hatred must be stoked in other words. Thus we talk of the Crimes of the Elite. What could be more practical? To this end, Kipling is an undisputed Master.

And of course, one must know who one’s people are. To this end, Kipling is an undisputed Master among those who Know.

When you’re wounded and left on Afghanistan’s plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Jest roll to your rifle and blow out your brains
An’ go to you Gawd like a soldier.

      • tucsonspur November 16, 2018 at 7:40 pm #

All this I know. But the practical is often tiresome. Perhaps my mind craves too much innovation and too much originality. Oh yes, the wonderful Kipling.

        “If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
        If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
        And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools”

And who can forget “The strength of the pack is the wolf…….”

        You preach to the choir.

Tate, that link doesn’t work here, but the song seems to be ‘Tomorrow belongs to me’.

I am only familiar with it from the film ‘Cabaret’, where the Hitlerjugend chappie with the blond hair sings it then gives a Nazi salute. It was meant to be chilling and it was.

If that’s what the song signifies to most people, then I don’t care for it.

Alba, they were allegedly gay, if they were really Jewish at all. Looks like it is debatable to me. How much faith should we put into RationalWiki? When Tate’s link didn’t work I searched it online and just a handful of videos had come up. Adolf probably wouldn’t have thought all that highly of it. The words are maudlin although it has a nice melody. But he would have instantly seen its political value. Factions have been turning tables on the opposition since forever, using their own memes against them. The most recent example is the term “fake news,” which the Right took over from the Left & now the lefties are whining like little girls.

In fairness I should probably modify my first comment and say it’s more fun that Tate likes the song and has not let its authorship colour his judgement.

I don’t even know your views on gay people and you may be surprisingly tolerant. Apologies for any unjustified presumption.

I am thinking Tate is cool, though 🙂 .

          • SoftStarLight November 17, 2018 at 12:23 pm #

Yes, I should give myself over to it. It feels right ;-). Sometimes better to follow heart than mind. I didn’t know two Jewish gay men were working on my subconcious but again reality is stranger than fiction lol.

My favorite hair stylist is gay and I love him. He makes me laugh and we talk about everything. Gay men can be very fun. That beind said I am no fan of the nasty behavior of gay pride parades and the gay lobby’s push to indoctrinate kids and punish people who don’t agree. As I have said before, keep your nastiness to yourself like everybody else, leave the kids alone, and don’t harass the heteros :-).

          • GreenAlba November 17, 2018 at 12:26 pm #

            That’s a good one: ‘don’t harrass the heteros’ 🙂

          • GreenAlba November 17, 2018 at 12:35 pm #

And I quite agree with you that it would be nice if people would keep the minutiae of their lurid private tastes out of public view, whatever their persuasion.

I don’t think either of us is into exhibitionism.

Anyway, I’m only lightly pulling your leg about the song. Tate deliberately pulled it into the conversation with a purpose in mind by referencing me and it entirely backfired on HIM. You were merely collateral damage because he used you as a human shield 🙂 .

A sense of humour is always worth hanging on to – we will all need one in harder times. I always found the staff rooms in the toughest schools enjoyed the funniest gallows humour.

          • GreenAlba November 17, 2018 at 12:41 pm #

And in fairness, regarding the porn comparison, it’s only one song. How many ‘vids’ would you expect? A fairer comparison would have been how many ‘vids’ there are of Mr and Mrs Nicholson from Peterborough chasing each other round the bedroom dressed as characters from Allo’ Allo’ 🙂 .

In other words, Gays are intrinsically morally superior to other men and never misuse their sexuality.

            How little you know….

Can you describe your appearance in general by giving someone whom you look like – and what you were wearing that day you sat in a Muslim cemetery? I’ll never get that image out of my mind so I might as well get it right. You are a very, very religious woman in a deep sense. And in the cemetery you prayed the Prayer of the modern Pharisee: Thank you Lord for not making me like other Whites.

            Janos

I know from long experience that any assertion of yours that starts with ‘in other words’ is going to be exactly not that.

I am not disappointed. In fact I don’t know what you’re talking about and please don’t bother to enlighten me, because the topic is done and the fun has been had. I think even SSL didn’t mind the joke in the end.

The rest of your post is your usual tosh. People dying in wars is tragic, whoever they are. If you think the majority of the German armed forced loved the deluded maniac you are more foolish than I thought. Great numbers of them despised him.

I can’t imagine how you believe you’ve achieved some great victory over me. That’s funny. It’s just an innocuous little song. As for whom tomorrow belongs to, what you’re really denigrating is that we should feel good about ourselves. White bad, dark good. That’s not true, even in chocolates.

          • Janos Skorenzy November 17, 2018 at 7:00 pm #

No, you really do believe Gays are morally superior to Heterosexuals with no proof whatsoever. But you like the idea so you choose to believe it.

Throwing Trump his family and cronies, Obama, Comey, Lynch, Hillary, Clapper, Brennan et al in jail for corruption really accomplishes nothing. They’re just the tip of the iceberg and we have no clue how deep the iceberg is submerged.
$21++trillion of dark money (that we know of) has been created by the Treasury and has been passed through the DOD and HUD as “undocumentable adjustments” to some entity unknown. This money transfer was not allocated by Congress and is, therefore, unconstitutional and illegal. Are we, the American taxpayer, on the hook for this money, in addition, to the national debt of $21 trillion? Who knows?
Saudi Arabia has started to accept yuan for some oil exorts to China in lieu of the petrodollar. BTW, SA is the petrodollar, which allows us to live high on the hog and pretend to be anempire.
Japan, and Russia are conducting joint naval exercises in the Gulf of Aden. Intersting! The world seems afraid of us and I always naively believed we were the good guys.
We, the so-called “beacon of democray”, cannot run an election without both parties suing if the results don’t go their way. Indisputible voter suppression in some places is a travesty. Are we now a “banana republic”?. Suing to stop military personnel’s absentee ballots from being counted. Really? Now that’s down right UNAMERICAN!!!!

The cancer has metastasized, BUCKP, and I don’t think we can save the patient. It is becoming clear to me that the country I thought I still lived in is no more. We are in transition, along with the planet, and the future does not portend well, in politics as well as climate. In fact I believe our politics will reflect our efforts to deal with the problems caused by climate change. It won’t be good, however many people, some here, will rejoice in the transformation of our country into something unlike anything we have encountered up til now, and indeed anticipate it. I fear for my kids, frankly.

Well Sophia, who would you expect to stand up for a whistle blower anyway?

Those in charge hate them for they expose the deception and corruption.

Those in the employ of the corrupt are dependent upon the corruption for their paychecks and will support their masters always.

The run of the mill serf has been programmed to follow any and all rules imposed upon them and so whistleblowers are rule breakers to them.

The only people that appreciate them are we, the conspiracy theorists, who have been outcast by the masses of rule followers and blind followers.

Nope Sophia, there is no one to stand up though for them. If he were to be publically executed, if ANYBODY were to be publically executed either innocent or guilty, the masses would flock to the event. They would buy tee shirts, commemorating the event and beer and pretzels from the concession stands at $10 bucks a pop as well. It is sorry, it is sad, but it is the way it is and I doubt that it can every get better.

“I suspect there’s a hidden agenda behind the announcement in The Wall Street Journal op-ed by former Hillary Clinton aide Mark Penn that the Ole Gray Mare is actually eyeing another run for the White House in 2020. No, it’s not just that she would like to be president, as she averred on video last week in a weak moment, or that she has decided late in life to go full Bolshevik policy-wise. It is to establish her in the public mind as a serious candidate so that when she is indicted a hue-and-cry will arise that the move is a purely political act of revenge by the wicked Trump.”

Regrettably, a certain aspect of a former role I held had me conversing with certain members of the so-called “elite” on a rather routine basis. What amazed me most, after many long conversations, is their reconciliation with the misdeeds of Clinton Inc. In their minds, and quite unbelievably, the ends justified the means. From their point of view, the deck was so stacked against these erstwhile Arkansan hillbillies (with an impeccable education) by the ruling deep state blue-bloods, thatchy had no choice beyond the unsavory. They had to get down and dirty. But never, never, did it occur to these “elites” that once there, they had enjoyed it. The spoils. The power. The loot. Remarkably, when pressed on this, they concede with the same unblinking sentiment: well, that’s the whole point.

Why is he now presenting himself as the crusader, a vocal one, from an agency steeped in silence?

What skeletons he must have. This dance. It’s an old one. By presenting himself as a vocal and strident Trump critic… it’s his best defense for the justice against his many misdeeds.

    Back Street heckler,

    from moonbattery,

emigod Harvey Milk (who has a street, a ship, a stamp, a movie, a holiday, and a Medal of Freedom in his honor) is far from the only Person of Politically Preferred Sexual Orientation to prey on troubled teenage boys. It goes on all over the country, not only in cesspools of degeneracy and depravity like Milk’s San Francisco, but even in small towns like Tolland, Connecticut:

Like many victims of a Connecticut sex trafficking ring that preyed on troubled young men and teenage boys for more than 20 years, Samuel Marino never told his family or police about being coerced into sexual relations with much older men.

Marino ended up getting himself killed in a police chase after a carjacking at age 26 in what might have been a version of suicide by cop.

In a handwritten note found years later in a raid on one of the suspected sex trafficking ring leader’s homes, Marino wrote he was angry, ashamed and disgusted at how he was taken advantage of. …

The case has illuminated what victims and advocates call the underreported scourge of male sex trafficking.

It is not only underreported but undertreated, despite the severe psychiatric damage it inflicts. There is an assumption that only females are victims of sexual abuse. Besides, we wouldn’t want to draw politically incorrect attention to the exceedingly unsavory aspects of gay subculture, which tends to focus its lustful attention on youth.

        Moi? Absolutely! It’s great theater.

But I think Trump has the legal authority to deny him access if he wants. But sensibly, some explicit rules will be imposed on the behavior of the reporters who are allowed in, & that should settle it. That hasn’t been necessary up to now because everyone just assumed good behavior. Sadly, with the partisan press, that can no longer be assumed.

        • GreenAlba November 17, 2018 at 9:07 am #

You don’t think Trump’s own behaviour has contributed to the deterioration in political discourse? Suggesting, for example, that it was better in the old days when a heckler (what happened to free speech?) could be taken out on a stretcher?

I’m sure we wouldn’t want our own back row heckler treated like that.

If a president coarsens the discourse, you will get coarse discourse. What about leading by example?

But Trump’s detractors on the Right before the election would be proven correct that he is a tool of the Globalists, that they are using him to advance their agenda of nation-wrecking. The jury’s still out on that one. He hasn’t really done much, has he, except pass a tax cut for the wealthy? There’s an article on AmRen by Gregory Hood, The Tragedy of Trump, on that subject dated Nov 16.

Makes no sense to me, but then I’m no Machiavelli.

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/gop-prepares-subpoena-comey-lynch-losing-power-195245964–politics.html

    Some pearls from Machiavelli:

It is better to be feared than loved, if you cannot be both.

It is double pleasure to deceive the deceiver.

The first method for estimating the intelligence of a ruler is to look at the men he has around him.

If an injury has to be done to a man it should be so severe that his vengeance need not be feared.

Politics have no relation to morals.

Hence it comes about that all armed Prophets have been victorious, and all unarmed Prophets have been destroyed.

He who wishes to be obeyed must know how to command.

I’m sure. All starlight is wonderfully soft, except for the sun. But its light is softened by the moon. Even from a star thousands of light years away, think of it, those photons come to rest delicately on the retina of the naked eye, physically connecting you to the remote galaxy.

I’d love to see more trains.

There is a plan here that is coming to slow fruition for a train from Minneapolis to Duluth. There was one, at one time. I think its great. It won’t be real fast (around 75mph), but hell– when its -30 F without windchill and you wanna get to the Twin Cities, I’d take it.

We need fast, high speed trains to every major city. Why this hasn’t happened, is not just a lack of imagination, but too much monopolism on the car side. I doubt it’ll ever happen on the national level.

This country is too addicted to certain things, and it loves those things.
Cars, wars and guns. All these things can be real fun, but they got consequences.

Hey Pete, I’ve come to realize that all of my personal decisions about how to equip myself for the future are based upon cynicism. If I understand JHK’s message he and I are in accord on concluding that the “train” humanity is riding will arrive at the terminal with maybe as few as 1/5th the passengers as on board now, no matter how much gee whiz technology comes on-line to accommodate existing population. Oh hell, even that thinking is pie-in-the-sky wishful optimism. The closing scenes of collapsing society will be the same as that in southern cities as Confederate troops withdrew in face of the Union army closing in — pure mayhem. I’m hanging on to my pistol.

      • outsider November 17, 2018 at 9:22 am #

        Pete,

Mr. Kunstler has written before that high speed trains are not the answer. Too expensive for our bankrupt country, they can’t run on existing track, and it would be years before they were in operation. Rather, he makes the case that investment should be made in totally refurbishing and modernizing our existing railroads. Anything to get traffic off of our dangerous congested wasteful highways.

      • Exscotticus November 17, 2018 at 2:10 pm #

PeteAtomic I love trains, too. But they’re fantastically expensive to build, maintain, and operate. They require high urban density and lots of passengers (at which point they’re not very fun anymore; just ask your average NYC commuter).

        >>> We ought to build as much wind, solar, etc. as we can.

Yes we ought to. But since we’re a free society, we ought to let market forces achieve these aims and not heavy-handed SJW regulations.

When oil becomes scarse enough, the price of fuel will go up. When it goes up high enough, consumers will look to alternatives. The demand will encourage and reward entrepreneurial effort.

Do you remember the Prius craze circa 2007? It coincided with a rise in fuel costs. In the USA, $4/gallon seems to be the point at which consumers start looking for more fuel-efficient alternatives.

All they do it all on their own, with no coercion from government.

It is not an aroma or an odor Jim, but a hellish stench. Permeating everything that emanates from Baghdad-on-the-Potomac to Wall Street and Hollyweird. And a thousand other places just in the U.S.S.A.

There is also the unmistakable charred flesh and scorched earth olfactory sensation wafting across the continent from West to East originating from the inferno of the Left Coast, California. No worries, Gov. Brown, Nancy Pelosi, Kamala Harris, and Maxine Waters have it well under control! They will be asking the Federal government for a lot more “emergency” funding. Funny how that works, no?

But the real stinking pile of awfulness this week was not the coverup of malfeasance from Democrats and Republicans; the festering fallout from the election; nor the possibilities of prosecution from the Mueller Investigation or the DOJ looking into the shenanigans of Barry Obama’s crew. NOPE.

The worst smelling, hideous spectre of perfidy this week came in two parts:

First, the evil scumbag, Tyler Barris, who had an innocent man in Kansas “swatted”, that is murdered by law enforcement, and pleading guilty after making a deal that might get him 20 years. Such actions of mayhem (in a separate Federal case involving multiple bomb threats) and the murder of an innocent man should be providing the guilty perpetrator a simple punishment for the crime: execution.

Secondly, and more chillingly, the founder of Wikileaks, the brave Julian Assange, whose organization regularly releases all manner of astonishing, including classified information, on and from individual miscreants, corporations, and governments, has been charged by the Federal government in the Eastern District of Virginia jurisdiction, under seal, and is just waiting for Assange to be arrested for public release.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/julian-assange-has-been-charged-prosecutors-reveal-in-inadvertent-court-filing/2018/11/15/9902e6ba-98bd-48df-b447-3e2a4638f05a_story.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.f3716118fd1c

The Navy’s Super Railgun Is Dead
    https://nationalinterest.org/blog/buzz/navys-super-railgun-dead-and-alive-36407

    WARGASM
    A repost from June 14, 2016
    http://kunstler.com/clusterfuck-nation/the-desperate-and-the-dispirate/#comment-269609

Now there is little doubt that Hillary represents a party of war, and the feeling that calls her to the White House is called Wargasm.

And even those who voted for her in the primaries, do not deny this property of the first female nominee for the post of US president, apparently in the hope that the war, which she will venture them in, to be held under the vast technological superiority of the US Army.

And it may very well be that Hillary’s electoral success and the “endorsement” of Obama are due to the fact that the war party was able to prove to the powers that be that the United States already have some kind of a miracle weapon, presumably, a magnetic railgun, or combat laser that provides Americans with the opportunity to observe World War III on their TV screens, rather than through the windows of their living rooms, as for a long time thanks to Hillary do the people of Serbia, Iraq, Egypt, Libya, Syria and, by the way, Russia too.

If this new American “miracle weapon” is not a bluff, the current situation is very similar to 1972, when the career of Hillary Clinton just started. Then President Nixon, recognizing the US defeat in Vietnam, began a policy of detente, which was based on the SALT-1 treaty. But the United States mastered MIRV technology (Multiple independently targetable reentry vehicle), which created the illusion of the possibility of winning a nuclear war, and the mysterious agent “Deep Throat” appeared in “Washington Post” telling the editor that Richard Nixon people were going to install eavesdropping equipment at the headquarters of the election campaign of the presidential candidate of the Democratic party George McGovern, located in a business complex “Watergate.”

This comparison to 1972 is especially important because back then, together with President Richard Nixon went into political oblivion the policy of detente, and limitation of strategic arms, and the Soyuz-Apollo program became a “Star Wars” of Ronald Reagan.

But now the second coming of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to the political Olympus is accompanied by US missile stations in Romania and Poland, followed by the transparent hints by Russia on the readiness to deal a devastating nuclear blow to that system which Hillary Clinton, apparently, promised to deflect either with the railgun, or combat laser.

However, in contrast to 1972, is the haste with which she now has cranked the intrigue with her “endorsement”, fulfilled by tensely smiling President Obama, suggests that the ground is burning under her feet, and Hillary the “Great and Terrible” is in a terrible hurry to become if not a US president, then at least the nominee for the post of US president before it turns out that she and her friends have exaggerated a little the powerful and notorious miracle weapon that may resembles not MIRV-technology, but rather the Space Shuttle or the “Star Wars” (SDI) program.

    ====================================================

I am convinced that the failure of the latest-greatest miracle super-weapons that Hillary promised to American elites to defeat Russia is the most important reason for her current demise.

The spiritual and philosophical basis of the Confederacy was Plato’s Sparta, which a Slave society and a totalitarian warrior class society and the model for Plato’s “Republic”, right? “The Federalist Papers” discussed in depth the strengths and shortcomings of the early Greek City states, and The Founding Father’s rejected the pitfalls of the excessive democracy of Athens in favor of a Republic ruled by wise philosopher kings, right? What did they say about Sparta? How did we end up with a bunch of corrupt, dick head leaders like George W. Bush, Jr., Obama, Trump, and the Clinton’s?

Didn’t Gustave Le Bon in “The Crowd” say that in a mob that the most intelligent person in the mob is psychologically reduced to the intellectual lowest common denominator of the Crowd? Didn’t thisbecome a central principle of Joseph Goebbels? It probably also became a central tenet of Madison Avenue advertising? TV Culture?

Idiot voters are sometimes born that way, but far too many of them are programmed to be so these days through the combined efforts of the “educational” systems, the media, and probably the most vile way of all, through technology. How many have had 8 of their 10 fingers made useless, leaving them “all thumbs” with limited abilities to even interact with one another, much less care about complex issues or problems. Their memories have been drained, their ability to navigate or even have a real clue as to where they are is non-existent, and even the language they “speak” has been reduced to LOL, ROLF, IMHO. How long before primitive grunting’s replace sentences? Too easy makes for too lazy which turns into too stupid to function as a human being. Whether it was all an insidious plan or just the way it has worked out, it is the way it is and will only get worse until the AI we create decides that we have outlived our usefulness.

        • JohnAZ November 17, 2018 at 10:33 am #

Holy cow, Walter B., what a perfect concise statement of the cause of the American decline. I, for one, believe it is a multi-generational conspiracy. I remember Hanoi Jane stating that the Progressive movement of the 60’s was still in business in the 70’s and would eventually prevail. They have been working the situation ever since.

Geraldo was on Fox this morning condemning Trump’s statement questioning why the caravans are only waving Honduran or Guatamalan flags. Geraldo said that these are just poor itinerant desperate people looking for a job and since we have millions of open jobs, especially in agriculture, we should just let then in. A purely Democratic statement, to be sure.

Pure baloney! The jobs everyone says are open are high skill jobs, check out google, requiring skills that our illustrious college educated youth do not have. Agriculture itself has 20000 open slots, all higher skill jobs. Higher skill, to me, means high tech based, which all the Liberal Arts majors have no clue. The immigrants are competing with Americans on low skill jobs driving the wage scales down.

Geraldo, you are shaping the news to fit your agenda! What a surprise.

          • Eoin November 17, 2018 at 10:53 am #

Not to put too fine of a point on it John, and for the record I am against ALL illegal or forced immigration, but there is no such thing as Unskilled work.
Any job requires skill to execute, and the jobs at any large farm processing operation require lots of skill, and even more stamina.
The idea of “unskilled vs. skilled” labor is another myth that is used to justify the unjustifiable elevation of one group of people over another, by virtue of what they “do”.
John McCain said it best, when he offered $50.00/hr to anyone who could work an ENTIRE lettuce harvest; “you cannot do it, my friends”, he said. I think that is the only thing that I ever agreed with him on.
We all need to de-mythologize ourselves.
Why the fuck are watching Geraldo anyway?
            Unskilled Thinking !
            Don’t let him in !

          • My research on the slave trade and Americas development indicates we are still basically running a slave labor market. Not just in Ag, but all kinds of trades formerly done by slaves.

The industrial slavery was mostly outsourced to Asia, and notably, Northern Mexico. For a decade or so NAFTA’s maquiladoras brought hundreds of thousands of desperate migrants to that inhospitable, sparsely populated border region.

A different pattern of development would have obviously resulted in a different world, for us and the planet. But we succumbed to the swan song of capitalism, and now we are becoming the prey. Our oil production glut, minerals, real estate, even citizenship is all up for grabs. The resource curse has come home.

          • Janos Skorenzy November 17, 2018 at 1:13 pm #

Well said. Capitalism destroys in the end. It was only ever humane because people were more so in the past – and it was still at an earlier, more localized stage where it had to be perhaps – or where it paid to be. When it didn’t have to be, it wasn’t as per child labor, and the rest of the horrors described by Dickens, Upton Sinclair, Jack London, et al.

Eoin, yes, that’s as much a law of nature as the most bullet-proof Einsteinian equation, what goes up must come down, even if the way up and the way down aren’t as predictable as the motion of an astronomical object.

No matter, even if you can’t plot the precise trajectory, if it goes up, it comes down, and this is how societies and civilizations and empires go. Given that our intelligentsia constantly tell us how smart and educated and degreed they are, you’d think that they’d behave accordingly, with a modicum of humility, indicating some knowledge of history, which would tell them that their stay at the top is a time-limited gig.

That economic and political pyramid they sit on is unstable, as subject to the laws of thermodynamics as any other natural body, the chief one being that of entropy. So, how do they maximize their stay at the top? Simple, mostly by deploying their power with restraint, showing some due regard for those underneath them in the social strata, ie not pissing on them every chance they get.

But the Donor class and the Hillarys and Bills and Brennans and Ryans of this world cannot contain themselves, they live by the mistaken notion that you can fool all of the people all of the time, and even when shown to be in error, persist in this belief. It shows that you can’t do anything about the contents of people’s heads, they think what they want.

You and I may see it but they don’t, They think it’s different this time, that what happened to French and Russian and German and Hapsburg and Ottoman and Chinese aristocracies surely won’t happen to them. It’s different yes, the USA is the exceptional and indispensable country, except when it sows havoc over wide swathes of the globe, killing millions, bankrupting its treasury, concocting nonsensical global investment and trade arrangements, and ruining its own people, in the process America’s ruling elite making itself loathed at home and abroad, sorely trying the patience of their fellow citizens and foreigners alike, the country becoming unexceptional and dispensable. In short, it’s not so different this time, what applied before, applies today.

America’s ruling elite rules according to consensus. Even if the consensus isn’t based in fact or reality or reason, that’s not to say they can’t change course and see fact and reality and reason. As you said in your post, there are choices.

I think this is one thing on which we agree, volodya. I once worked in the Modern Languages department (foreign languages do actually take a bit of work to learn fluently unless you live there!) where one teacher used to jokingly refer to the chemistry, physics, woodwork and metalwork teachers generically as ‘the plumbers’.

It was just banter but I did once ask him if he thought western civilisation would collapse first without sanitation or without people who were familiar with Goethe or even those who could ask for a train ticket in French . And that was before I’d heard of peak anything. Even those of us with humanities degrees are not ALL blind. I start by respecting anyone who can do anything I can’t do, whether it’s growing food or fixing my central heating boiler. I don’t think I’m going to run out of people to respect any time soon.

Green Alba, notwithstanding the brevity of your post, there’s a lot to un-pack, so I’m not going to even try. So, maybe start with the conclusion, you show uncommon wisdom and not just because we agree.

I’m guilty of disparaging education in the humanities. I disparage it not necessarily because of the body knowledge, because there is a lot of worthwhile knowledge, but because of what passes for knowledge on top of that worthwhile corpus, and the exalted self-image of those that teach it and learn it, and their disparaging attitude towards those of other talents. Like yourself, I’ve been there, I’ve seen it, I have direct experience in it. And it bugs me no end.

You mention knowing a second language. People say that a good education ought to contain instruction in a second language, and that it ought to start at an early age when language acquisition is easier and even if your particular aptitude runs in a different direction. I would agree. It’s an illuminating experience trying to form words and master rules of grammar that run contrary to what you’re accustomed. They say that learning Latin is good training even if it’s a dead language because in Latin you have either got it exactly right or totally wrong.

In my view, an education in the humanities is worthwhile because it tells us who and where we are and how we got here. Having said that, you can’t force it on everyone because not everyone has the interest or the ability. And society does need engineers and chemists and to get competence in these fields requires a lot of years. As you say societal collapse would happen a whole lot faster if basic infra-structure broke down. I think our basic amenities are taken completely for granted even if they take the labor of uncounted people to make them work and a lot of money. What happens if no water comes out of the faucet? What if it happens to an entire city? Or an entire region with tens of millions of people? It doesn’t matter nearly as much if people haven’t read Heidegger or Goethe, people need to drink.

Know thyself. And maybe this is where you’re at, that all important attribute of self-awareness, self-knowledge.

        • JohnAZ November 17, 2018 at 1:22 pm #

If one wants to succeed in this culture, one must be educated. Liberal Arts are a requirement for every man or woman. For instance, how can one be a rational voter with no knowledge of history, philosophy, sociology, psychology, literature and just reading and writing legibly. A mystery is solved here. Why do the Democrats always try to suppress history and other humanities? Some say political correctness. Nah! They do not want intelligent and rational voters. If people were educated well, they would never buy the BS the Liberals are selling.

Education serves two purposes. One, overall education of many subjects to develop a solid data base in a person’s mind. Second, vocational training, training for a job. Not career as careers are too short lived today. Kids in college today get some of the first, and certain majors cover the second. But overall prep for society is poor. Humanities training is totally biaed liberally, and vocational training does not match what is needed.

Here is an idea. Why cannot the Education department be involved in guiding our education leaders on how to do and what to do, instead of politicizing everyone and trying to separate the education of the elite from everyone else. Public education should and could be equal opportunity, but not under the guidance of the nincompoops that have been running it for the past fifty years. Like most institutions, education is fixing to collapse without significant well intended change.

And yes, illegal immigration degrades our education system, but that is a subject for another day.

          • malthuss November 17, 2018 at 1:27 pm #

Visions of Walls dancing in our heads. Things are what they are because they aren’t something else. Boundaries help things be what they are by excluding what they are not. As such, they are righteous and even sacred. Angels will not force themselves on people whereas Demons will. The former respect personal boundaries and the latter do not. Thus one must be ready to enforce borders, either personal or national or any other kind. A Wall is one such defense, but it won’t stand alone either, walls being no better than the men who defend them.

You’re right about boundaries. They are very important and very hard to defend. Demons also sense and see weakness and use amazing power to overwhelm. I am so glad Angels are there to help. They unravel confusion, making it easier to see through the fog and to reveal the whisperers who lie in wait.

    Question for everybody.

What is happening in fly-over-land regarding Trump and MAGA? Specifically are the masses figuring out they have been played and to make America great again they get screwed in the deal.

I ask because I’ve run into the attitude that some people think other people are getting wise to Trump. Personally I don’t think so. Stupid is as stupid does. Despite the illogic and simplicity of Trumps rhetoric it sticks to the bones once it has been swallowed down. Coughed up and out most reluctantly.

I think everybody will continue to be buffaloed; what do you think?

    • tucsonspur November 17, 2018 at 4:02 pm #

Trump’s rhetoric “cuts like a knife, but it feels alright”. People felt him, adored the anti-establishment tone and irreverent approach. Some of his rhetoric might be illogical, but maybe that didn’t matter when people realized that they were being force fed the illogic of political correctness and the rest of the Left’s unpalatable menu.

The strength of simple rhetoric is just that, simplicity-no egg head bullshit to perplex and deceive. The TWATs will ebb and flow.

“Stupid is as stupid does”. Would it have been smart to vote for Hillary? It’s a question of choices, and hard choices at that.

    Interesting exercise.

If things go on as they seem to be heading?

What will the USA look like?

Multicultural with 4 or 5 languages spoken

No actual borders, “just a wide spot in the road”

Recipient of a multitude of disease vectors due to non-control

Recipient of more and more”killer bee” and mosquito pests with global warming

Probably divided into political sectors, the whole country will be Californicated

No central culture to unify the various groups, no religion to pass morality, a constant contest for ethnic ascendancy

Areas of destruction due to fracking oil production

Wag the Dog was a movie where the administration started a war to distract and unify the nation in a time of trial.

        Examples

        Mexican War

        Spanish American War

        Viet Nam

        Iraq “W”

Lay of the Last Minstrel, Canto VI, [My Native Land]

    Sir Walter Scott

Breathes there the man, with soul so dead,
Who never to himself hath said,
This is my own, my native land!
Whose heart hath ne’er within him burn’d,
As home his footsteps he hath turn’d
From wandering on a foreign strand!
    If such there breathe, go, mark him well;
    For him no Minstrel raptures swell;
High though his titles, proud his name,
Boundless his wealth as wish can claim;—
Despite those titles, power, and pelf,
The wretch, concentred all in self,
    Living, shall forfeit fair renown,
And, doubly dying, shall go down
To the vile dust, from whence he sprung,
    Unwept, unhonour’d, and unsung.

    • Barbara Ehrenreich’s latest book reminds me that the concept of “self” in the 17th century arose with new outbreaks of depression, and she notes how ridiculous it is to try and establish a memorial for ourselves when we know we are going to be totally forgotten as if we were never here.

The Buddhists spend time with corpses, although, for me that’s not necessary to get the same effect. A compost pile seems more festive, somehow, with all the worms and bugs. It connects through the Earth to all things, an enormous crowd of beings of which we are totally unaware, who have their own plans for life.

      • tucsonspur November 17, 2018 at 4:16 pm #

We do what we can to deal with the Darkness of Death. I better not invite you to one of my parties. The festivities won’t include worms and bugs and you may wind up leaving sad and depressed.

But he was dead inside before he died. Thus no reason for festivity at all because there was no life to celebrate after all. Nihilism and atheism are similarly empty.

      • Janos Skorenzy November 17, 2018 at 8:37 pm #

St Paul: “I die daily” (transcend physical consciousness).

Mohammad: Die before you die so when you die you won’t die.

Here we have no eternal city. This life is in death. But Life awaits after death, a Life that is not merely in contrast to death, or part of it like Debbie’s immortality which is merely planting a tree in the dead person’s ashes and calling it “mom” or Joe.

        • SoftStarLight November 17, 2018 at 9:04 pm #

This is such a hard test, but yes, this really isn’t home. I often wonder why. Always I feel like I want all the answers but then sometimes knowledge is too much to handle. Like what you say is true, but it makes me want to cry because it’s hard not to get attached to things here.

          • Janos Skorenzy November 17, 2018 at 10:52 pm #

Well to get a bit esoteric (inner, secret, for the few), that is one interpretation of St Paul’s statement, and the one I used above. He might have just meant the usual mortification of the senses and ego. But he might have meant advanced prayer where he left this body of death behind and attained unto the Third Heaven, finding himself in his immortal body. Thus a few have intimations of the real Life even while still alive in this world. But even they will only find it in its fullness after death – at least until the End when this world is burned and made new.

          • SoftStarLight November 18, 2018 at 2:22 am #

Kinda like the idea of astral projection. That is as much as a few can achieve. Two men, Enoch and Elijah, were lucky enough to be brought into Heaven without going through death at all. We won’t be that fortunate but we can always strive to be and we should.

And the elements shall melt with fervent heat and the Earth and the works therein shall be burned. And there will be a new Heaven and a new Earth and the eternal city will descend upon the new Earth, prepared as a bride is for her husband. (Paraphrased but close)

    Ms rao lost,
Imagine being the white son or daughter of white immigrants to China.
Your entire life is about calling the Chinese people racist and Chinese society racist, even though your white parents had absolutely nothing to do with the history of China, building up Chinese society or establishing Chinese culture.

Instead, all you do is demean the Chinese people 24/7/365. Now, stop imagine and understand this is exactly what Saira Rao, the daughter of Indian immigrants in the USA, has done with white people and the United States.

In running for the US House seat in Colorado 1st Congressional District, she received in 31 percent of the vote in 2018. Her platform was basically, “White people suck. White people in both political parties suck and are irredeemably racist.”

Upon losing, she claimed both political “parties are mired in white supremacy.”

Well, she can’t stop attacking white people, the very people who built the United States of America, established the culture and created the institutions and infrastructure attracting Rao’s Indian parents to immigrate here and take advantage of our tolerant migratory policies to settle here.

On 11/16, she Tweeted: “All white people are racist. America is racist. To deny this isn’t just racist, it’s irrational.”

Does anyone say she is a racist or does the media see her as a truth teller?

      • Walter B November 17, 2018 at 10:12 pm #

First of all SSL, only a man can be a racist, at least by the definitions that are in effect today, and there are two criteria that a man must have to be one. He must be white and he must be male, that is all it takes. There are no other criteria that are required and no matter what a white man says, does or believes, or how he treats any other human being, he is a racist according to those that banter that slur about.

You have read my beliefs and my feelings on the black issues SSL, yet I remain a racist because I am white and I am a man. Blacks that hate, disparage and even do violence to whites are not racist, they are only poor victims, once again, by current definition. This, whether they are too stupid to realize it or not, is how the progressive assholes can be defeated, by using their own words against them. Yup, I am a racist and I accept it, even though Janos will certainly give me a load or two of shit about it. And I am a conspiracy theorist as well.

        • Janos Skorenzy November 17, 2018 at 11:04 pm #

You called MLK a Man of Peace. All his associates have gone on to become race hucksters extraordinaire, either in politics or theology – Black Theology isn’t Christian anymore. And from the snippets of his speeches its clear he would have gone the same way into affirmative action, quotas, etc. Thus you make a desert and call it Peace.

Whites have been hopelessly bamboozled in regards to him and in almost every other way imaginable. Only on Guns have Whites maintained a bit of the old spirit. But will they just rust in their cases?

You didn’t finish your journey to Awakening, stopping to pick up trinkets (like MLK) and then calling such tawdry trash, gold. Why is alright to spit on Obama but then turn around and worship King? They are the same. Conservatives took a false path and their ego won’t let them turn around and retrace their steps.

I don’t believe you accept your Racism. You were calling proud White Racists, Crackers, just the other day. You are all over the place and you don’t like it when I point that out. And you will never be able to integrate unless you let go of your false Idols, like King – and retrace the false path you and your forbears took decades and generations ago. The South was right. The North was wrong. I’m a Northerner btw – but I’ve always been a Copper Head to some degree – even during my years of Liberal delusion. Now I’m back fully and then some.

I do appreciate you saying the North was wrong :-). I am proud to be from the South but ever since I have been around the South and Southerners are always made fun of, and of course made to feel like not only were we wrong but deserved what we got. Actually, many areas in the South are still behind the times because of everything that happened then and after. Events will make it to where Northern and Southern Whites will no longer feel separated anymore. I’m ready to call it water under the bridge and be friends :-).

Surely you are kept around this place to remind us all of what exactly it was that motivated those who came before us to head back to the Old Country to crush the Nazi scum that threatened the globe. Can you describe Janos without using the buzz words? Without the emotionally-tinged rhetoric? At his core, what do you really find objectionable? His Nationalism? His Economics? That he believes Hitler had qualities not totally demonic? That he considers the white race at risk? That he describes womanhood as anything but equal to men in all respects?

            Or that he “pushes buttons”?

            T

          • SoftStarLight November 18, 2018 at 12:57 pm #

Nothing objectionable to me. His views on women don’t bother me either. He has always been a gentleman to me.

Please stop the infighting. The progressives rely on this stuff. Meanwhile they are destroying our country. It’s ok if we don’t see eye to eye on everything.

          • Walter B November 18, 2018 at 6:44 pm #

Well ef, describing anyone here is a difficult thing to do since we know so little about each other in reality, but yes I have tried to reach out to the son of Otto Skorzeny with a hand of understanding many times and have usually been slapped done for my efforts. I am not really certain what his “nationalism” may even be since my idea of being an American transcends country of origin, skin color, or religious beliefs as long as we all work together towards the same freedoms and goals. As far as Africans being brought to America goes, I wish they never were brought here under the circumstances that they were and that slavery never happened in the first place, but advocating eliminating them from our society by some untold method today just does not seem right to me. Is the white race at risk? Of course it is and I have written much on this subject especially back in my GLP days, but today’s American will not suffer being told who or what to have sex or breed with and that path, at lest for me is a self inflicted extinction event, that I am not going to waste my time trying to stop. Yes Hitler, Stalin and even Satan himself all have/had good qualities, but when you tally in the bad ones, well at what price “progress”? As far as “equality” between women and men, the very statement is foolish. There is no equality between any two things in this world, not a tree nor a leaf, as Sargent Kilrain said. Yes there should be equal opportunity. (not special opportunities) but men and women were designed to function together as a team, each bringing different skills to the task. That is my personal opinion and I accept other ideas for discussion to be sure.

Yes Janos and I have issues and I would be happy to leave him alone and I hope that he will return the favor. If all he wants is to take turns bashing everybody and never putting forth any workable, tangible, solutions or discussions, what exactly is the point?

And SSL, do not worry we shall get through this, keep the faith. In my day, though I hated the clichés’……words can never hurt me.

That is right Walter, you have to play their game and be better at it than they are. Meet fire with fire, except bigger and better. This is not the time to turn the other cheek. Whatever is said by the media or today’s “authorities” and “experts” doesn’t matter in regards to racism. All people of all races, male and female are racist. It’s natural and healthy and very normal. It doesn’t mean we have to treat people bad or get violent with others. It is just a recognition that people are better off with their own tribe. Humans have been like that all along and modernity doesn’t change it. Don’t feel bad about believing “conspiracies”. The official narratives we are spoon fed are meant to distract us from the truth IMO.

    Pay and Repent

Christopher Columbus statue removal sparks genocide row

    https://www.dw.com/en/christopher-columbus-statue-removal-sparks-genocide-row/a-46300268

The official Lithuanian newspaper Respublika published a series of articles about the fact that the Kaliningrad region, in essence, belongs to Lithuania.

That there lived the relatives of the Lithuanian Prussians, who then merged with the Germans and built many cultural pearls. That these pearls were barbarously destroyed by the Russians in 1945, having destroyed and expelled the Prussians.

And that now the “challenge for Lithuania and the whole of Europe” is the expulsion from the region of the aggressive Russian army and the reformatting of its current inhabitants into Lithuanians.

This powerful idea was met in Russia with a lazy humor.

At the same time on the other half of the globe – in the city of Los Angeles – a landmark event occurred. By the decision of the city authorities, the symbol of the genocide and oppression of Native Americans – the statue of Christopher Columbus – was removed from his eyes in the Grand Park and taken out of sight. The demolition was carried out at a gathering of people, activists in Indian outfits and with the participation of members of the city council. Earlier, Columbus Day was replaced in the American metropolis on the Day of the Original Residents.

Why do calls for the restoration of historical justice in Russia and America today have such a different effect?

Here is the whole thing. In today Russia, the “pay and repent” genre has almost no audience. Thirty years ago, before the collapse of the USSR, it acted with deadly accuracy – first and foremost against the fragile psyche of the intelligentsia. This stratum of the late Soviet society, which grew under the yoke and at the same time on the dime of the state, combined in itself immense naivety with the immense power over the minds.

And so the stories about the Balts oppressed by centuries, Caucasians, and Central Asians were accepted unconditionally, and then with anguish they were re-told to ordinary citizens through the media. Calls to repent to the enslaved peoples were ubiquitous, and the feeling of guilt before the bearers of unique cultures subjected to Russification, industrialization, central heating and air-conditioning was simply a norm.

    Time has corrected a lot.

First, many intellectuals, falling from the artificial world of Soviet institutions into the hard realism of the 90s, began to look at the world differently.

Secondly, Russians began to arrive from the “liberated” Soviet republics: deprived of their rights, housing, property, and sometimes crippled and lost their relatives.

There were millions of these unreported refugees, and they also corrected something in the Russian picture of the world.

    BLUE WAVE CONFIRMED

The blue trickle has turned into a tsunami. ExScotticus, Tate, JohnAZ, etc. they were all wrong about the supposed trickle, wrong about the red wave… today the House race for California’s 39th district has been called for Democrat Gil Cisneros over Young Kim, who was vying to become the first Korean-American woman in Congress and Republicans’ last hope to keep a seat in Orange County. It is the 39th House seat that Democrats flipped this year.

And count on it… more blue wins are coming. The Senate goes blue in 2020.

So regardless of whether blue has 30 extra seats in the House or 100—it’s still a lame duck House. The Senate will be too busy confirming more CONSERVATIVE JUDGES to pay the House any mind.

This realization disgusted me to the point of having to take a sabbatical. How do the people who believe in the Constitution stop the conversion of this country into a socialist state? A good first two steps

Build the wall and control immigration

Disenfranchise all aspects of globalist influence The entire anti Russia movement is being fronted by the globalists trying to split up the growing closeness between the two.

Interesting to observe the oncoming split between moderate Dems and the Progressives as the DNC continues its schizophrenic antics.

Please do not take Ocasio-Cortez lightly. Vladimir Lenin and Adolph Hitler started movements in their countries in much the same way. The real enemy is the demographic shift and the education system “dumbing down” the voters of the country and making them susceptible to all these “saviors”of society like Cortez and her mentor Bernie Sanders. Somebody please put that man into a home where he belongs.

Why she needed a new handle who knows. The left is evil and deceptive by nature so I suppose it’s all just second nature. Do you truly believe the results of these elections won by communists over a week after elections were held? I don’t. The communists are masters of fraud and rely on dead people and illegal invaders to push their voter margins to victory. Most normal people are unfortunately not capable of going toe to toe with the progressives because their morality and beliefs in the old ways of doing things hold them back. They must be met with the only thing they understand – untamed force and power. Otherwise yes, the Constitutional Republic our Forefathers gave to us is dead.

Casus Belli of the Cold War

This was the cause of the Cold War, and not at all the Iron Curtain to which Churchill referred. Rather, it was just a casus belli, and the true reason was the red button, which after Roosevelt’s death was in the hands of people who believed that the United States in World War II should have become allies of Hitler, not Stalin. And at some point it seemed to them that they with the help of an atomic bomb would be able to correct this mistake, or, as they believed, the crime of Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Let’s talk on the topic of British-German military cooperation AFTER formal German capitulation. And not in 1940, when Germany was a respectable member of the world community and a stronghold of the free world against communism, but in 1945, when everything was pretty clear to everyone.

Having landed in Greece in 1944-1945, the British, with the help of German collaborators, began to “defend” the country from communist partisans. But sometimes the help of local monarcho-Nazis was not enough, and the British had to turn to their traditional ally on the Anglo-German Naval Agreement and the Munich Agreement.

Such a situation arose in Crete, where the British 28th Infantry Brigade got involved in battles with the ELAS partisans and was brutally treated.

However, the British commander, Brigadier General Preston did not lose his head and immediately turned to the German units stationed on the island, who formally capitulated on May 9, but actually stood under arms. On May 11, 1945, the Germans, with the support of the tank battalion, attacked the Greece partisans and released their British allies. The merits of the Germans were highly appreciated by the British. So Preston’s personal car always moved under the protection of two German tanks.
    https://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?t=98680

Until June 26, 1945, the British and Germans allied against the Greek rebels until the ELAS was pushed back into the Souda Mountains. Only after that the Germans were disarmed.

British officer explains combat mission to his Nazi allies:

By the way, Vladimir Putin said that since peace did not come after the end of the Cold War and the United States continued cold military actions against Russia – the successor of the USSR – and after its surrender, the cold war continues de facto and the peace is yet to be concluded.

Moreover, the conditions of this peace will be determined by the situation in real life today, and not a month and not 27 years ago.

    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST

Democrat Harley Rouda has defeated California Republican Rep. Dana Rohrabacher with a current lead of about 17,000 votes, securing another seat for the new Democratic majority in the US House of Representatives, CNN projects.

CNN took Trump to court and won with a Trump-appointed judge. Trump did not dare to introduce the doctored video as evidence and had no defense. Judges are professionals, not partisans.

Taking things to court has a way of getting to the truth.

Meanwhile, look at how these hypocritical judges demand decorum in their own courtrooms. Heck, they even demand that everyone stand for their majesties!—and woe to those who fail to stand; off to jail you go!

Comic Norm McDonald caught some grief for this tweet on November 15:

“The Enlightenment turned us away from truth and toward a darkling weakening horizon. sad and grey to see. The afterglow of Christianity is near gone now, and a stygian silence lurks in wait.”

Norm deleted it after a storm of protest. He was accused of being an “alt-right psychopath.” Good Lord!

His tweet was almost poetic. Truth & poetry have an easy relationship. Nobody likes to hear the truth anymore, just as poetry is out of fashion. Yes, Norm, it was the Enlightenment that started the ball rolling to perdition. There was no more true Conservatism after that.

The Conservatism that has existed after the 18th century Enlightenment was what the Alt-right has identified as “cuckservatism,” a pale shadow of the Left, always on the retreat, always subverting true conservatives. For example, look how Conservatism, Inc ™ (the fake conservatism of National Review, et al) so easily caved on “gay marriage.”

Well, at least we’ve finally identified the problem. Many folks, some on this site, haven’t figured it out yet however.

    • SoftStarLight November 18, 2018 at 6:03 pm #

Mr. McDonald has behaved like a cuck for deleting his truthful tweet. We’re filled up with fake Conservatives and fake Christians. Ultimately they are agents of decline. They are exposed in plain sight but our betters who speak from on high act like they don’t know or they don’t care about decline at all. We do see with crystal clear vision.

  65. pkrugman November 18, 2018 at 6:16 pm #

Tate sez: conservatives are always on the retreat

True conservatives called for the abolition of Social Security, the abolition of Medicare, abolition of a standing army, abolition of military pensions, and all the other federal free stuff.

Conservatives became part of the give-me give-me give-me generation. You don’t hear them calling for an end to corporate welfare, defense welfare, and other entitlement programs that benefit conservatives and their families personally. The “conservatives” have not been conservative since at least Ronald Reagan.

Ronald Reagan was a hardliner when it came to all government social programs. He called unemployment insurance “a prepaid vacation plan for freeloaders.” He said the progressive income tax was “a brainchild of Karl Marx.” And he called welfare recipients “a faceless mass waiting for handouts.” Reagan referred to Social Security as a “welfare program” and, during the 1976 Republican Presidential Primary, Reagan proposed making Social Security voluntary, which would have essentially destroyed the program. Nobody today on the right is as conservative as Reagan, not even Tate.

The only thing janet/pkrugman can’t bother conserving is the nation itself. Janet can’t see the connection between the existential crisis of the U.S. preserving its territorial integrity & keeping intact programs such as Social Security, Medicare & military pensions.

      Says janet.

  66. pkrugman November 18, 2018 at 6:28 pm #

Not even conservatives like SoftStarLight, JohnAZ, Exscotticus, and Tate argue for the abolition of the military. We were warned about the defense welfare state by the founding fathers, the writers of the Constitution, and those opposed to them.

While the opponents of the Constitution, who came to be labeled “Anti-Federalists,” opposed standing armies vociferously, they weren’t the only ones. The Father of the Constitution himself, James Madison, and many of his fellow Federalist supporters of the Constitution also feared and loathed standing armies.

American Resistance to a Standing Army – Teachinghistory.org
    https://teachinghistory.org/history-content/ask-a-historian/24671

In June of 1787, James Madison addressed the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia on the dangers of a permanent army. “A standing military force, with an overgrown Executive will not long be safe companions to liberty.”

I have never seen a post on CFN calling for eliminating the military. There are only fake conservatives, cuckservatives, and militarists here who don’t object to spending $700 Billion annually on corporate defense welfare, stupid border “training exercises” and military interventions around the world that only make us less safe.

  67. Tate November 18, 2018 at 6:33 pm #

“Nobody today on the right is as conservative as Reagan, not even Tate.”

Janet, you’re failing to see the Big Picture. What you call Conservatism, I call a vitiated form of Progressivism. It is a fake Buckleyite conservatism that benefits the rich while tricking the masses through wedge issues into believing it is on their side.

Read today’s Zman column of Nov 18, “the Between Age” & you may begin to understand.

    http://thezman.com/wordpress/?p=15595

America lacks an authentic Right. Quoting Zman:

“We now live in an age where the federal courts says the President cannot decide who gets a press pass into the White House, but the court is perfectly OK with big banks shutting people off from the financial system because they hold the wrong opinions. An authentic opposition would immediately point out the absurd contradictions of the dadaist legal system constructed by the Left. Instead, the response is to argue this latest outrage is a conservative principle.”

    And,

“The people feverishly arguing that ‘the liberals are the real Nazis’ do so by first accepting the Progressive moral framework. As a result, like someone trying to build a ship in a bottle, they are reduced to working within arbitrary confines in order to achieve something with only ornamental value.”

  68. pkrugman November 18, 2018 at 6:47 pm #

I am not failing to see the Big Picture. I am going back to the arguments of the framers, those who wrote the Constitution. They warned us about having a standing army. They were not “progressives” and you are not a conservative. And I am not Janet.

    • Tate November 18, 2018 at 6:56 pm #

You’re right that I’m not a conservative within the context of existing politics, but only because there is nothing left to conserve.

Are you saying that I support a permanent standing army & military engagements around the world? Wrong, if I could change the world with a snap of my fingers. But we don’t live in that kind of a world.

      • Tate November 18, 2018 at 6:58 pm #

        And you argue like janet.

        • pkrugman November 18, 2018 at 7:15 pm #

What does that mean? Are even ways of arguing now subject to that snowflake gender shit?

Are you saying that I support a permanent standing army & military engagements around the world? –Tate

Yes, I am, because you support sending thousands of troops to the border from our standing army. You have never said otherwise here publicly.

You cheered George Bush on in 2001 when he stood on the rubble in NYC saying those who did this will feel our wrath. You supported the invasion of Iraq and the bombing of Afghanistan, even though later you changed your tune.

I have never seen you publicly call for eliminating a permanent standing army. Just the opposite. Voting for Trump in 2016 was voting to increase the size of the armed forces. Your actions and your words are not consistent.

SSL, what kind of woman are you? A feminazi I’m guessing. Do you think women should have the right to vote? Do you consider yourself a conservative? Should women have the right to own property? Remember who founded this country: white male property owners, not women. Women weren’t allowed to participate. Do you want to conserve the way things were in 1787? That would make you a true conservative.

Well it was a very broad statement and yes I was having a little fun because I thought it was a little silly in the first place. Husbands who fail their wives by running around and all have an obligation to the wives and the childrens well-being. It’s not their fault he made bad choices. I believe he would have to take care of them even if he wants to have other women. And what is your point about “persona”. What is your persona? We always seem to get here. • GreenAlba November 19, 2018 at 9:54 am #

It’s not a matter of keeping their children after they leave – I asked about the rights of the mother. You seem to be suggesting it’s fine for her to live in a house that belongs to him rather than get her share. That is where I was looking for clarification.

It’s not that long since the situation existed in Ireland whereby a woman could own her own house (bought or inherited), get married to a cheating husband who could presumably bring in his new floozy to live in their home if he fancied it. The wife could leave or be chucked out and the house belonged entirely to the man even if he never paid a cent towards it.

This is a practical issue when people talk nonsense about giving up rights and votes.

And I only meant that I wasn’t fooled for long by the ‘lil’ ol’ me’, ooh thanks for your guidance, I love learning’ stuff’.

I don’t care in the slightest what your theories are about me. Interesting that you’ve ‘been there’, though.

When I had young kids I hardly had time to turn round, let alone to spend hours on blogs, had they existed. Life must have got a lot easier in the intervening years, which I guess is a good thing, but will make it a bigger shock when it isn’t any more.

          • GreenAlba November 19, 2018 at 10:06 am #

And that’s not me being your ‘house mom’ – perish the thought. It’s just a bit of light social commentary.

    • Exscotticus November 18, 2018 at 7:53 pm #

      >>> They warned us about having a standing army.

So what? They also warned of unfettered democracy (“tyranny of the majority”). They also disagreed with each other on a variety of topics.

Nowhere in the Constitution does it prohibit standing armies. On the contrary, the Constitution says, “The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States”. That would seem to support the idea of a standing army. After all, since the President is the Commander-in-Chief, that means the very top of military leadership is always “standing”. The President doesn’t lose his military role in times of peace; he is always there; and he is the head of all military.

      • Tate November 18, 2018 at 8:05 pm #

For most of our history before World War II, the U.S. maintained a small cadre of professional soldiers, consisting of commissioned & non-commissioned officers. Was this the “standing army” that that generation warned against? I would argue not.

      • Exscotticus November 18, 2018 at 8:18 pm #

The Constitution could have simply said that the President is the “head of state”. The fact that they chose to use military language and a military role demonstrates just how much the framers understood the need for a military!

  69. Janos Skorenzy November 18, 2018 at 8:14 pm #

The Father of slain Hannah Cornelius did virtue display while at the trial of his daughter’s killers. It’s a religion. She never had a chance with a Dad like this.

On Amren last week, author Dan Roodt:

But I was disturbed by the elements of white guilt in Willem Cornelius’s testimony before the court in which he bemoaned the “attention” showered upon his daughter and her death while thousands of other victims of rape and murder in South Africa do not elicit any media interest. Even though his “family died when Hannah died,” he still needs to show what a good liberal he is and how much he feels for the strife and decay of Cape Town’s teeming Colored ghettos. He noted that he was pleased Hannah was liberated from any form of racial or ethnic consciousness (he called it “baggage” in his testimony). He seems very traumatized and confused, having lost his daughter, his wife, and his job (he feels he can no longer work as a judge), left with only his autistic son, who keeps asking to see Hannah since her “holiday should be over by now.”

    • SoftStarLight November 18, 2018 at 8:45 pm #

Seriously? With a Dad like that who needs enemies as they say? Honestly, it doesn’t even sound like the natural reaction of a Father. PC must be more than a religion. Maybe it re-wires the brain completely?

      • JohnAZ November 18, 2018 at 9:58 pm #

        SSL

Janet or whoever is giving you a raft of crap.

She obviously needs to have somebody to blame for everything that has happened badly in her life. White men have been in charge for the duration of the country because the nation was 90% white. So let’s blame them for every evil that society has? The idea that the only racists are white is absolute nonsense. The most racist statements I hear come out of the mouths of Blacks, Farrakhan, Sharpton, Corey Booker, Maxine Waters, Kamala Harris amongst others.

Society needs roles to avoid chaos and eventual dissolution. Males and females, bosses and employees, the Constitutionand the rule of law. Roles exist to create order.

Which is why the Liberals want to eliminate roles, they thrive on disorder. Power driven women want their roles rewritten, they want control. They will destroy the structure of the country to get their way.

        • SoftStarLight November 18, 2018 at 10:32 pm #

I am a strong believer that a man can be judged by the caliber (or lack thereof) of his enemies. When you look at those that mock, that scorn you, consider that these are the people that you really would not want backing you up in a tight spot anyway, so you must be doing something right. Additionally, you must remember that when it all goes bad, those that are closest to the truth shall be the ones that are assaulted the most. Hang in there friend.!

Thanks Walter :-). You’re right. I really don’t like conflict and enemies at all but I guess that is life. I am strong but fragile too. We all are to lesser and greater degrees. Women can be particularly vicious to one another as I am sure you know. I’ll get over it. Nothing a good night’s rest can’t help :-). Appreciate the ecouragement!

SSL you are very welcome. But you have to back up what you claim. I’m still waiting for a response to my question about the source of your ‘information’ about Stephen Lennox.

Sticking your thumb in your mouth and saying they’re being mean to me is not a response.

And I’ve had mega-flak since I came on here, but my thumb stays on the space bar.

Well there is one possibly valid point the Liberals make: that White women get far more attention when something terrible happens. It’s vary strange that a grieving Dad would make this point though – why is he even thinking this way at this point?

And also the attention isn’t always good – it’s also salacious (think that’s the right word), excited that a White Women is getting her just deserts. And of course Blondes are the archetype of all this, especially in the minds of our enemies. All that being said, I can still see how some might sometimes be saddened or angered. Some years ago, in Afghanistan I think, one blonde soldier was taken captive and another woman soldier, an American Indian, was killed. She got almost no attention. The Blonde got it all, with some probably hoping she was getting raped. But she made it out more or less intact and was a heroine. She was good enough to admit she didn’t deserve all the applause and didn’t do anything particularly heroic. She tried to fire her weapon, but it jammed. That was it.

What can one say? The Cult of the White Woman (particularly the Blonde) is the last remaining acceptable form of positive racism (the favoring of our own) that is allowed to us. And yeah, it’s not always fair to others, but it is what it is – partly good and natural for us and partly the hysteria and evil of the Enemy.

No doubt our society goes into overdrive when there is a White damsel in distress situation. I do understand how this can be hurtful to Non-Whites who experience similar tragedies and don’t receive the same attention. But yeah, the Father’s focus on that matter at this point is really sad to me. Knowing my Father, he would likely get arrested for attacking or attempting to attack the perps on the spot in the courtroom. Totally different world I guess between here and there.

And your flip-side point about the whole White woman thing is true too. In school, this one paricular Black girl used to threaten me all the time by saying, “Im’ll mess up that pretty lil face a yurs one day white girl.” She was of course much larger than me and terrorized me I admit :-). She also used to tell me my hair had been in the cracker box too long lol. She was just jealous.

New York Times officially became a conspiracy nut

Russia’s meddling in the United States’ elections is not a hoax. It’s the culmination of Moscow’s decades-long campaign to tear the West apart. “Operation InfeKtion” reveals the ways in which one of the Soviets’ central tactics — the promulgation of lies about America — continues today, from Pizzagate to George Soros conspiracies. Meet the KGB spies who conceived this virus and the American truth squads who tried — and are still trying — to fight it. Countries from Pakistan to Brazil are now debating reality, and in Vladimir Putin’s greatest triumph, Americans are using Russia’s playbook against one another without the faintest clue.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2018/11/12/opinion/russia-meddling-disinformation-fake-news-elections.html

The main prosecution witness is Ladislav Bittman, who is presented to the audience as an expert on the methods of informational influence used by the KGB against the fragile “Western democracies” and especially the United States.

The problem is that Mr. Bittman has not worked a single day for the KGB – he is an employee of the Czechoslovak intelligence, and after the well-known events of 1968 he fled to the West.

Where does the Czechoslovak defector get detailed data on the methods of information operations of the KGB in the USA of the 1980s?

“American Truth Squads”, seriously? Led by who, Earl Warren or Tom Kean? That is about the most insulting line of crap I have ever heard. Looks like that worthless news-rag is not even worthy of soaking up dog pee anymore or lining the tattered overcoats of the homeless. Somebody please, put it out of it’s misery. They must be losing subscribers by the thousands.. Perhaps that is why Little Dickey is desperately hawking the “not good enough to wrap dead fish with” rag. Somebody is doing everything in their power to distract us from the China Front with this ridiculous Russian Danger ply. I wonder if it is working?

Yes, something terrible is happening now, they’re trying to rewrite history for themselves. They’re trying to slander Columbus, tear down monuments, and so on. It’s just really barbaric. I read an essay about him the other day https://studydriver.com/christopher-columbus-essay/ , he was a really great man, he would have been shocked to hear how he is being vilified now for acts that everyone did before, and most of them are not even proven. Of course Columbus wasn’t perfect, but he did a lot for the country and everyone should know that.
