First mistake: Emmanuel Macron’s handlers played Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy” instead of the French national anthem at the winner’s election rally. Well, at least they didn’t play “Deutschland Über Alles.” The tensions in the Euroland situation remain: the 20 percent-plus youth unemployment, the papered-over insolvency of the European banks, and the implacable contraction of economic activity, especially at the southern rim of the EU.

The clash of civilizations brought on by the EU’s self-induced refugee glut still hangs over the continent like a hijab. That there was no Islamic terror violence around the election should not be reassuring. The interests of the jihadists probably lie in the continued squishiness of the status quo, with its sentimental multiculture fantasies — can’t we all just get along? — so En Marche was their best bet. LePen might have pushed back hard. Macron looks to bathe France’s Islamic antagonists in a nutrient-medium of Hollandaise lite.

The sclerosis of Europe is assured for now. But events are in charge, not elected officials so much, and Europe’s economic fate may be determined by forces far away and beyond its power to control, namely in China, where the phony-baloney banking system is likely to be the first to implode in a global daisy-chain of financial uncontrolled demolition. Much of that depends on the continuing stability of currencies.

The trouble is they are all pegged to fatally unrealistic expectations of economic expansion. Without it, the repayment of interest on monumental outstanding debt becomes an impossibility. And the game of issuing more new debt to pay the interest on the old debt completely falls apart. Once again, the dynamic relationship between real capital creation and the quandaries of the oil industry lurks behind these failures of economy. In a crisis of debt repayment, governments will not know what else to do except “print” more money, and this time they are liable to destroy faith in the value of “money” the world over.

I put “money” in quotation marks because the dollars, euros, yuan, and yen are only worth what people believe them to be, subject to measurement against increasingly fictional indexes of value, such as interest rates, stock and bond markets, government-issued employment and GDP stats, and other benchmarks so egregiously gamed by the issuing authorities that Ole Karl Marx’s hoary warning finally comes to pass and everything solid melts into air.

For the record, I’m not in favor of political chaos and economic anarchy, but that seems to be the only route that Deep Staters ‘round the world want to go down. The convenient protocols of finance in the industrial era which allowed routine borrowing from the future to get today’s enterprise up and running have lost their mojo. The short and practical theory of history applies to this: things happen because they seem like a good idea at the time.

Revolving credit seemed like a good idea through the 20th century, and it sure worked to build an economic matrix based on cheap energy, which is, alas, no more. What remains is the wishful pretense that the old familiar protocols can still work their magic. The disappointment will be epic, and the result next time may be political figures even worse than LePen and Trump. Consider, though, that what you take for the drumbeat of nationalism is actually just a stair-step down on a much-longer journey out of the globally financialized economy. Because the ultimate destination down this stairway is a form of local autarky that the current mandarins of the status quo can’t even imagine.

That journey has already begun, though neither the public nor its elected leaders, have begun to apprehend it. The first spark of recognition will come in the months ahead when the current cover story on markets, “money,” and growth falls away and political leaders can only stand by in wonder and nausea that the world has the impertinence to change without their permission.

“Until roughly the outbreak of World War II, the overwhelming majority of nonfarm working-age American men fell into one of two employment categories: working a paid job or unemployed. There was no “third way” for healthy, able-bodied males. Life then was much closer to the bone than today. There were few social guarantees of any sort. The prospect of being without regular employment filled most men with dread. To be jobless was to court financial disaster, and the specter of long-term joblessness was terrifying to anyone responsible for supporting a family. In today’s America, by contrast, the taxonomy of employment is no longer so black-and-white. There are now not two but three possible work categories for civilian, noninstitutionalized working-age men: (1) employed, (2) unemployed but seeking work, and (3) neither working nor seeking work (i.e., living outside the labor force altogether). This “third way” was previously unthinkable as a voluntary option (at least for the self-respecting, and for those without independent wealth). Today’s no-work life is hardly a pathway to economic success, as we shall see. On the other hand, neither does it consign the growing numbers of no-work men to a life sentence of destitution and ruin. The United States today is evidently rich enough to carry, after a fashion, a growing contingent of working-age men who subsist without either engaging engaging in or seeking paid employment. In short, a life without work (or the search for work) has become a viable option for today’s prime-age male—and ever-greater numbers of them seem to be choosing this option.”

Third Way = Drinking Beer and watching TV.

      • elysianfield May 8, 2017 at 11:57 am #

        Puck,
        Take away the beer and “they” will take it to the streets…. There are three options for the government concerning the unemployed;

        1) Employ them,

        2) Maintain them through entitlements,

        3) Kill them.

The choices are stark, unenviable, and unavoidable. Behold the future.

The unemployed black men are killing each other.

Such men are not mere useless eaters – they are capital; they are sheep and cattle proving wool and milk. But letting themselves be fed and groomed they provide countless jobs and justify the existence of state agencies.

But remember: the neutered female workers routinely drive the excess drones out of the hive. Your only chance then is to take the Hive by storm. Throw down the Cathedral and reestablish hierarchy. And that means fighting the mercenary soldiers of Cathedral: minorities and Muslims.

      • SpeedyBB May 9, 2017 at 4:02 am #

The problem with exhortations of yours such as this one, Mr. Skorenzy, is that they contain such steely irrefutable logic that they enrage the sensibilities of all us spoonfeed lib-babies, confounding all we ‘know’ with hard facts and pointers.

I speak as a classical 1950s Cold-War liberal, Air Force brat and reformed libertarian. So I’m seeing it from all sides (the fatal weakness of liberals, admittedly).

I can’t go along with some of your fancies but certainly admire your indisputable erudition, practicality (yes, you are a practical commentator) not to mention how you stick to your guns.

I live with Muslims and have shared life and love with them for nearly 30 years. That does not alter my view that Islam is a deadly enemy to all the freedoms that we cherish in western civilization (I would plunk Xtianity in there as well – of the Desert Death Cults only reformed Judaism seems to have accommodated modernity).

I think you’re on the losing team and that’s a shame because you have much to offer. We’re going off a cliff (actually it’s more like going over Niagara in a barrel of laughs) and the varied Fundies are paddling hard as they can toward the chasm.

        • Janos Skorenzy May 9, 2017 at 1:37 pm #

Thank you. Very interesting – did you marry a Muslim or something? They’re not supposed to let their women do that. Must be a very liberal one.

Believe it or not, I have some sympathy for your position. I’m like the Jewess Simone Weil – I can find beauty almost anywhere. She admired much in the Nazi Movement even though she knew how dangerous they were to much that she loved, including her own person.

For me, the Muslim call to prayer is one of the most beautiful things on Earth. And the Sufis are wonderful, but allied to something that is basically evil, namely Islam. It’s like meeting a beautiful, intelligent girl, falling in love with her. She then takes you to meet her family, who are loathsome, inbred scum. But she won’t hear anything bad about them. She loves them and will never leave. Thus if you marry her, you are essentially marrying them as well.

A few weeks ago, American Geek-in-chief Bill Gates grandly offered to give Bolivia, which he referred to as a poverty-stricken country, 100,000 chickens. Bolivia, it turns out, has a thriving economy, exports 36 million chickens a year, produces nearly 200 million. But thanks anyway, Great White Father.

While we were being distracted by all the who-shot-Johnisms, the chief deal maven has done it again. Big time. Really , really big time. Here’s the deal.

Two weeks after Premier Xi was in Alaska the media was abuzz about Russian airplanes flying back and forth in the Bering Straits for four days near Alaska but never crossing the international date line. No one seems to have connected the two events. Later it was announced that Secretary of State Tillerson and Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov are to meet on May 10 & 11 in…guess where … Alaska! why? see https://robertmagill.wordpress.com/2017/05/02/the-

  3. K-Dog May 8, 2017 at 9:19 am #

If the pot bubbles over as you anticipate this summer the rich will get richer and the poor will bail them out. The new coming economic affliction will not bring any new understanding or a spark of recognition. It will be seen as another new opportunity for the public to service bad debt. Initially this new emergency which will never end will simply be seen as business as usual.

    • DA May 8, 2017 at 11:27 am #

Yep. The choice will be the same one we faced in 2008. Either let the whole system crash and burn, which of course is never going to happen, or provide another bail out, very possibly with a “bail in” – essentially confiscation of savings and checking accounts – added on for good measure. Safe to say that that will finally get people’s attention at least. Add in the elimination of actual hard currency, and the theft and social control mechanisms will be complete.

      • SpeedyBB May 9, 2017 at 4:08 am #

It was fun to see how it got the depositors jumping up and down in Cyprus when they did their ‘test-run’ of confiscation (I recall it was 25% of all account balances).

Rude indeed it was to have to point out that holding a savings account does not at all signify ‘my money in your bank’ but rather that ‘I am an unsecured creditor to your murky organization’.

(Worth pointing out also that big-time Russky depositors magically managed to transfer their balances to the UK before the confiscation became public knowledge – nice to have friends on the inside).

The rage of the small depositor seems to have given the bankster authorities pause for thought. But that was Cyprus. In the USA USA USA it will be more like ESAD.

And the good folk will eat it right up.

        • DA May 9, 2017 at 2:48 pm #

Yep. It’ll just require a larger “precipitating event” to pull off here, but of course we already know that TPTB are well practiced in that.

Good point about the big boy insiders transferring their deposits out “just in time” as well. I expect we’ll hear about A LOT of that as well – all well after the fact of course.

  4. Pucker May 8, 2017 at 9:24 am #

“absence of adult men from the productive economy is in itself powerful testimony that these men have become essentially dispensable. But the progressive detachment of so many adult American men from the reality and routines of regular paid labor poses a threat to our nation’s future prosperity. It can only result in lower living standards, greater economic disparities, and slower economic growth than we might otherwise expect. And the troubles posed by this male flight from work are by no means solely economic. It is also a social crisis—and, I shall argue, a moral crisis. The growing incapability of grown men to function as breadwinners cannot help but undermine the American family. It casts those who nature designed to be strong into the role of dependents—on their wives or girlfriends, on their aging parents, or on government welfare.”

    “Men Without Work”, Nicholas Eberstadt

    • outsider May 8, 2017 at 9:48 am #

Pucker – Where are the blue collar jobs for all these millions of men? Their fathers, often without high school diplomas, went to works in the mills and the mines and made a decent living. This avenue is now closed to them. Robots have taken over the factories that still remain in the USA. We shouldn’t blame the victim.

      • K-Dog May 8, 2017 at 10:48 am #

Not only did fathers have the opportunity to work. Fathers also would have thought anyone who considers work an optional activity bat-shit crazy but that was then and this is now.

Had WWII vets known that by 2017 virtual reality and Hollywood entertainments would seriously be confused with the real world, that their grandchildren would be nothing more than shapeless consumers fixed in tiny exclusive circles. Circles where money magically appears. They would have puked their guts out.

Moral crisis? As in refusal to work?

Typical right-wing bullshit propaganda meant to deflect.

Deflect from what? Enter the GOP/Red State design of “right to work” states.

Deflecting from formerly honorable companies from back in the days when “men abhorred unemployment’ and that now “sub-contract” work so as to avoid unemployment insurance, health care benefits, worker compensation, paid holidays/vacations etc.

Yes, with these companies a sub-contractor is a “sole proprietor” just like Bill Gates in his early days!!! (Oh doesn’t the GOP bullshit sound so ‘by-thy-own- bootstraps’ romantic). So romantic that dumbasses “pucker up” and kiss the ass of propaganda that is the equivalent of manufacturing their own economic coffin..

And “on their own” a sole-proprietor/sub-contractor will be if they hurt themselves on the job or when their particular contract runs up or when they refuse to comply with unreasonable, exploitive demands and decrees from their “employers”.

IOW, a highly one sided affair for companies that engender zero sense of loyalty from either end. Indeed, many have said fuck it; they simply will not be exploited by these race-to-the-bottom cannibal capitalists.

      • outsider May 8, 2017 at 3:29 pm #

        Touché!

      • K-Dog May 8, 2017 at 10:03 pm #

I’ve been one of those Redmond ‘sole proprietors’ before. Never again will I kiss Redmond blue badge ass. Averaging out the Redmond contract work pay to include mandatory periods of unemployment required by WA State law average pay turned out to be pathetic over the long run. The last recession enabled Microsoft to trim about ten bucks an hour off contract rates and the unemployment stints between contracts were so long a professional engineer would have been better off having steady work flipping burgers.

The faith in money that JHK mentioned is what floats all economic boats. When that is gone it’ll be chaos. The republican status quo were all standing stupefied on stage during the GOP debates and after the election that to their amazement put Trump in office, for better
or worse. Probably ultimately the worst.

and as Jim mentioned last week…. Canada’s biggest non-bank mortgage lender continues to use up their emergency loan from pensioners . http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-05-08/home-capitals-bank-run-accelerates-company-scrambles-find-additional-liquidity

    • Elrond Hubbard May 8, 2017 at 10:37 am #

You make it sound as if the loan has endangered the pensioners’ money. In fact the loan is secured by HCG’s mortgage portfolio, which is worth twice the value of the loan facility (at an interest rate of >20%). It’s a hell of the deal for the pensioners, in fact — if they can keep it.

The Health Ontario Pension Plan is effectively asset-stripping HCG ahead of what looks like inevitable bankruptcy. Since the move was spearheaded by two men who are members/chairmen of both boards, this looks a lot like fraudulent conveyance to benefit the pension plan at the expense of HCG’s legitimate creditors. In any case, the pensioners themselves will only have cause to complain if a court halts the asset-stripping and imposes a meaningful fine (i.e. one that not only undoes the fraudulent conveyance but makes them feel some additional financial pain as well). It would be nice to think that the individuals involved in the fraud would face jail time, but we’ll have to wait and see about that.

I am amazed banking has survived this long. People refuse to believe the truth about them. When I explain how money works they think I am crazy, that it could never be such a ridiculous system, but it is. Bankers create money out of thin air and loan it to sovereign nations, indenturing them permanently. The system is so nuts but hey we’re cookoo for Cocoa Puffs.

And it all degrades slowly right in front of all of their eyes, yet no one cares. No one can see it much less do anything about it now can they Jim? Drip, drip, drip. I have always been so damned frustrated by how this all has decayed so badly while not a peep of concern can be heard outside of the “lunatic fringe” of the anti-mainstreamers. Well I have figured it out and many of you here have as well.

I can only speak for my little corner of the world, but here in New Jersey’s wealthiest county (#3 in the nation) it is all coming apart slowly. Those with school age children awake at the ass-crack of dawn. They enter their SUV’s in the heated garage, and the doors close magically behind them so they never have to actually set foot in the real, outside world. Once they have shuttled little Johnny and Janie off to Pre-Care, Pre-School of real schools and they crawl down the interstate to their Corporate Masters. Afterward they crawl back home late in the afternoon to pick up and rush their spawn off to sports practices and events before rushing them back to their heated garages and bed. Weekends are sporting events and entertainment and feeble attempts to “relax” and maintain homes that they cannot afford to pay the mortgages on.

Our senior population spends most of it’s time in front of the television and eating meals. Meals and what they eat are very important events for the elderly here and since they are mostly too tired and or too infirmed to do any work anymore, entertainment is about all they can handle.

I do not know what those younger folks who do not have children spend their time at, but there are not many of them here that is for sure. They cannot afford it. Those whose children have grown and are off on their own (or living in the basement) spend most of their time working as many jobs as they can trying to pay off Johnny and Janie’s college debts because the jobs that they have, if any, are minimum wage and part time at best.

People just do not have the time to care, at least around here, and our Township is not doing all that well. Abandoned houses are slowly increasing, foreclosures are growing every week, and our tax base is under assault from Tax Appeals on McMansions that are now considered worthless and unsellable. And it all stays below the radar. It is all hidden from view to those SUV rat racers who cannot allow themselves to see the true light of day. I see this all from a frightening prospective being in the local government and having to deal with the financial issue of the entire Township. My calls take me all over this community and I am developing the picture that none but a few care and none will deal with problems until it is too late to do so.

I hope things are better off in many other places across this once Great Nation, because from where I see things, they are not only NOT GOOD, there is NO HOPE of correction.

    • Beryl of Oyl May 8, 2017 at 10:39 am #

Notice when your governor’s minions wanted to hit New Jerseyites where they live, they disrupted traffic on a busy bridge.
These are the people, btw, who Al Gore thinks he’s going to force out of their vehicles and onto a bus. They can’t live their lives the way they live them without those juggernauts.
I’m glad you mentioned that it is the parents paying off the student loans. Nobody thinks about them. It was the mark of arrival into the middle class, you sent your kids to college.
I think that’s why the suicide rate is climbing so fast among middle aged men, that’s the only way they have left to discharge that debt, which remains even after the job is gone and the house is foreclosed.

I keep hearing that there is a shortage of housing for sale somewhere in the U.S., but in the small southern town that I live in there are for sale signs all over town and have been for for years. No one here is buying unless its at a fire sale price. My parents built a modest brick home on an acre lot in the mid sixties for about 12 grand. Said property is now appraised at 100+ for insurance purposes. We would be lucky to get half that price. When I was growing up it was a thriving community with several factories and downtown that supplied you with high quality merchandise such as clothing, appliances, hardware, etc., anything you needed. Now all of the stores are closed even after a grant to the city to refurbish some of the downtown buildings and adding new street lamps and sidewalks. They may be referring to new housing instead of existing stock but either way, the real estate market is dead. The two local new car dealerships seem to be thriving, which is something I just don’t get. My nephew is a mechanic at the Chevy dealer and he tells me they need to expand as the sales and service departments are swamped. Go figure.

      • Walter B May 8, 2017 at 1:12 pm #

I had a real estate saleswoman call me and ask if I knew of anyone wanting to sell their homes because there is a shortage of inventory. I could not believe what she was saying and when I questioned the fact that we have almost 30 vacant homes and about half the others in our Township up for sale, she told me, “NO, nobody wants them. They want small houses (like mine) with low tax liabilities that do not have to be fix up but just moved into” Well good luck with THAT sister, I bought mine in 1981 for exactly those reason and I’m not giving it up now that it is paying off.

As far as car service goes, far more people are scrimping to make car repairs because they cannot afford to buy new ones. Look at the non-existent new car sales and growing rates of repossession.

    • Janos Skorenzy May 8, 2017 at 1:47 pm #

Quite so. There is no Civilization worthy of the name without simple living and high thinking on the part of many. Lewis Mumford spoke of this long ago, before the Hippies, and the Back to the Earth and Simplicity movements. The first spark of recognition will come in the months ahead when the current cover story on markets, “money,” and growth falls away and political leaders can only stand by in wonder and nausea that the world has the impertinence to change without their permission.

Well, it won’t be on account of the elite’s lack of trying. The amount of printed money that the European and Japanese central banks have been pumping into the world financial markets has been jacked up to something like $250 billion a month since January, or one trillion dollars so far this year, which amounts to a yearly rate of $3 trillion dollars a year. It truly boggles the mind.

Regarding Le Pen’s big loss in France, perhaps the French populace is even dumber than the Americans. Criticize Trump all you want, but he was put into office by the anti-war, anti-neocon Right – who had turned against the “fake news” mainstream media. Trump has failed us, but what choice did we have other than to vote third party or stay home?

Every time I heard Le Pen’s name mentioned in the media it was always with the appellation “Far Right.” That is not remotely true. For the native French people she was a populist, certainly not a corporatist, as is Macron. She just did not want her country overrun by illegal migrants with their hands out. Perhaps leaving the womb of the EU and jumping into the abyss was just too frightening. And she wanted better relations with Russia. From all appearances, the world wide mainstream press convinced the French that Le Pen was a dangerous neo-n***. If the American people were so easily swayed, we would now be saying “Hail Hillary.”

Trump might turn out to be the high water mark for the anti-globalist effort, at least for the short term. I can’t help but think Le Pen was hindered by his decidedly schizophrenic performance in office so far.

I saw a network reporter label a group protesting in a German Street as “neo-nazis”. It was Matt Gutman of ABC.
If the protestors had even mentioned Nazism in public, they would have been immediately arrested, and Matt was lying on purpose.
They’ve just about convinced everyone that being a nationalist is the same as being a racist, as well.
What is the opposite of nationalism? Globalism.
I’m not persuaded yet that Trump has let us down completely. It’s early, and he has a big swamp to drain.

      • DA May 8, 2017 at 11:11 am #

Yeah, we really have no choice but to wait him out. It looks like the deep state movement to remove him has now extracted their pound of flesh and are satisfied with letting him flail ineptly, so the real lesson to be learned with Trump might be that no matter who we elect, the deep state is prepared to do whatever it takes to co-opt them after the fact, which is what I and many others have suspected was the case all along. And of course we know the alternative was exponentially worse, so I guess Trump is still as good as it gets, for now at least.

        • Walter B May 8, 2017 at 11:54 am #

The best choice was indeed made during the last “election”. You may be able to transplant the head of a Lion onto the body of a snake, but a snake it shall remain. In getting the head of Trump we avoided having the Snake’s head though in the end we still have a snake. Perhaps the inevitable was stalled a bit, perhaps not. At least we were not forced to accept blatant murder as the acceptable means to an end. At least not yet…

      • Janos Skorenzy May 8, 2017 at 2:13 pm #

Well you can’t really have a Nation with different races. They will either be endlessly opposed to each other – or even worse, miscegenate. If it was Whites and East Asians marrying, something Ok might be the result since both are high. But if Blacks and Whites, the fruit will simply be more Blacks. This was Jefferson’s greatest fear and why he wanted them sent out of America, beyond all danger of mixture.

You’re confusing Nation with “country”. The latter is merely a political designation. An area ruled by a system or cabal. A Nation is an extended family, rooted in history, tradition and the Earth. If you are at all “organically” oriented, you must opt for the latter – and that means being for your own people first and foremost. Are you confusing that with being automatically against others? Believe it or not, what’s being bandied about in Academia is not the dictionary definition of racism. Academia is now run by people who are basically Marxist street scum.

Alex Jones said they were polling very close before the election, but the results are a seal clubbing. So I don’t know. I haven’t heard anyone else take this up yet. And the way things are going, we may never know.

I have heard that up to one third didn’t vote at all or entered a blank ballot in protest. Are they disgusted that she wasn’t the real thing – or is it something else entirely? No idea.

    • cbeard May 8, 2017 at 1:11 pm #

I too thought Trump was our last hope. What little hope I had is all but gone now. The only other choice was not to vote at all and risk the wicked witch being elected. With Macron’s election I think the French are screwed. As far as dumb and dumber goes, remember Trump lost the popular vote by a small margin. The only thing that kept Clinton out was the electoral college which I had always disagreed with. It may have saved our ass this go round.

      • outsider May 8, 2017 at 3:48 pm #

cbeard – Looking to the future, it’s likely that the republicans can only win via the Electoral College. This past election, Trump won the other 49 states by 1.5 million but lost California by 4 mil (Cal still seems like a questionable number). Personally, I don’t want one state to be able to determine every election in favor of the democrats. OTOH that’s twice in the past 16 years that the popular winner has lost in the EC. What happens in 2020 if Trump pulls off the same thing again?

  11. DA May 8, 2017 at 10:38 am #

The convenient protocols of finance in the industrial era which allowed routine borrowing from the future to get today’s enterprise up and running have lost their mojo. … Revolving credit seemed like a good idea through the 20th century, and it sure worked to build an economic matrix based on cheap energy, which is, alas, no more. What remains is the wishful pretense that the old familiar protocols can still work their magic.

That about sums it up. We keep on doing what we’re doing because that’s what we’ve always done, and now it’s all we know how to do. Oh yeah, this is going to end badly.

Maximilian Forte weighs in with his first post-election assessment of the Trump phenomenon as well over at Zero Anthropology and similarly finds it by turns lacking, calculating, and befuddling.

“Among those few who predicted Trump’s victory, few or none predicted that Trump would then move on to defeating Trump. Some partisans have come up with slogans like “Love Trumps Hate,” but no one to my knowledge has ever exclaimed, “Trump Trumps Trump”—thankfully. A recent list of the monumental ruin to which standard, corporate-fueled and media-driven machine politics fell thanks to the Trump campaign, provides only an incomplete story of 2016. Now we have to rewrite even the story of 2016. While a candidate could win a presidential campaign, as an “outsider,” even as he was reviled by his own party elite, demonized by the mass media, shunned by the mass of corporate donors, and so forth, it also means that the status quo can win on the cheap. The establishment won, and all without the usual investments, and not so much as a single compliment to the winning candidate who would uphold their order—at little or no cost to them. The next US political candidate to campaign on being an “outsider” will face a greater challenge in being taken seriously; by the same token, the dominant elites may disarm themselves, thinking the next outsider will be easy to co-opt or browbeat into submission.”

    • seawolf77 May 9, 2017 at 8:29 am #

That exactly sums it up. When energy was cheap, a borrowed dollar was like kryptonite. That borrowed dollar could earn returns far in excess of the cost of carrying that loan, for those savvy enough to know where to put it to work. Today, that savvy is reserved for software, IT, and online retailers who realize the future is robotic and inhuman. The past they pine for is gone like the wind. It is a society just a racist as the Confederacy, one that required armed guards to allow a black person to go to a white school. Gone with the wind.

I like the line about events being in charge, not elected officials.
I saw one of those long-time elected officials on TV last night, Chuck Schumer, complaining that the president was jeopardizing all the great work Chuck was doing on behalf of the heroin bubble. He didn’t call it that, I just now came up with it.
How long has Chuck been in office? And he’s blaming the new guy?
Chuck isn’t unusual in that regard. Hillary was going to appoint tired old Bill to fix the economy, or something. She’s been in public life over thirty years, the economy has been going the way it has for the average American for all that time, and we have to give her a promotion to get her to fix it?

  15. volodya May 8, 2017 at 11:49 am #

WalterB, I saw a news story last night about a Rexnord plant in Indiana that’s relocating to Mexico where the wage will be $3/hour.

Such stuff is rampant. But it’s not just in the US. Wide swathes of the formerly developed world are coming apart. France and Britain and Canada are being denuded of bread-winner employment. Apologists for people inflicting this disaster tell us that automation and digitization are the cause. I say baloney.

The work that used to be done for $20/ hour is being done in China and Mexico for $2 or $3. To make things worse, borders are left wide-open to immigration. To say that there’s trouble brewing on multiple fronts is a gross understatement. It’s not just economic trouble. And NONE of it is being addressed.

In Europe there’s Muslim insurrection (Allah gave us Germany) that the greatly enlightened are turning a blind-eye to. Public housing in France is being appropriated by impoverished Muslim and other third-world newcomers, both legal and other-wise, for use as servant quarters for people in still wealthy enclaves. We regularly see the results on prime-time. And, like night follows day, what comes next are thundering denunciations from our moral superiors for “islamophobia”. Some, like Obama, pretend that Islam has nothing to do with anything. That fool opened up a sore on North Africa’s coast that breeds terror and misery and bleeds refugees into the Mediterranean, and according to the people that purport to know a lot, anybody that dares to so much as clear their throat is PHOBIC.

And so, as JHK sez, what follows Trump and Le Pen will be worse. There was a chance to fix this. Too late now I think. The Deep Staters and Oligarchs thought they had things figured out. To put it succinctly, they don’t. Not even close.

Yes volodya the American public has NO idea what minimum wage actually is! In 2012 a sprinkler mechanic came to our facility to make a valve repair. He told me of a factory in Dayton, NJ that he had just finished doing work in that was owned and operated by strictly Chinese. The offices had been converted into crude sleeping quarters and the cafeteria was a dilapidated Chines kitchen. The workers never left the facility and toiled away for who knows how many hours a day for pretty much the food they ate and their pathetic “living” arrangements. Apparently there are many of these “3rd World “sanctuaries” all over this country and are growing in number. Fortunately, or more correctly, unfortunately, they cannot bee seen from the cockpit of an SUV during rush (crawl) hour. Whoever said that what you can’t see cannot hurt you needs to be searched out and hanged.

Read Oriana Fallaci. The invasion started decades ago. Hard as this may be to hear – it essentially has nothing to do with Libya. That was simply how it worked out. They would have done it another way if it hadn’t.

Keep reading. Islam has been trying to conquer us for more than a millennium. Now that being refugees works, they do that. Yes, the Blacks may be desperate. But the ones coming from the East come in designer clothes and go on vacations back to the homeland. And most aren’t Syrian. Again, what’s happening has nothing to do with Syria per se. That’s just an excuse that the peaceniks and faggots fall for.

There are some very big changes happening right now in the US and in the world

First of all, the presidential campaign is finally over.

Apparently, some main center of power came to the conclusion that Trump won the elections and therefore he is worthy to be President, and Hillary Clinton lost the election, and therefore not worthy to be one.

It turned out that the Sunday programs were marked with rather rude ridicule of Hillary Clinton’s explanation of her loss, according to which it was not Chubais that was to blame, but Putin’s Wikileaks and FBI director Comey. And this ridicule was joined by “simple democrats”, and this is already a very bad sign.

And Hillary herself in her congratulation to Macron found it necessary to joke about these jokers, and the joke turned out with tears in her eyes: she said that journalists are forbidden to tell the truth about the reasons for her loss.

    https://finance.yahoo.com/news/hillary-clinton-took-swing-media-004005716.html

And this woman withstood 11 hours of interrogation in Congress and forced Obama to negotiate with the President of the Philippines Duterte, who in front of the entire world called Obama’s mother a prostitute!

If you combine all the signs and hints together, it turns out that Trump was even smarter than I thought, and the first hundred days of his presidency fought not with Hillary, but with the Black Project she headed, preparing for its removal from power.

    Too good to be true!

    • DA May 8, 2017 at 12:14 pm #

Well now, that’s certainly an interesting take on events you’ve got there Finca. Not sure I’d interpret them that way, but to each his own. For that matter, I even hope you’re right about Trump removing Hillary’s “Black Project” from power. We’ll see in due course.

I saw Hillary whining about her loss on some “woman” program or other, and it was downright embarrassing to me, as a woman.
Especially because she appeared to be less than sober. Way, way less.
Which would explain an awful lot about her campaign.

Walter B, that’s just the thing. What you just described: if you can’t off-shore to a third-world sweat-shop, you on-shore third-world labor. Mexicans are just one source of this labor.

The numb-skulls in the executive suites need to have their heads examined. What they’re doing is tearing apart the economic and societal food-chain that sustains them. First, they destroy the tax-paying capacity of the US. And then they themselves decline to pay tax. So, pray tell, what are they going to do when the US no longer has the financial or economic ability to operate a judicial system that defends elite interests? Brute force? Private armies?

Well, mercenaries have been tried. Doesn’t work. Ancient Rome and post-Roman Britain are two early examples. Mercenaries are about money and booty. They turn their weapons on their employers.

    • Walter B May 8, 2017 at 12:37 pm #

The inability that humans have to learn lessons from history is fueled by the addition of “technology”. Every succeeding attempt at reliving history without heed to the past has seen the fools who do it convinced that their “technologies” will allow them to overcome what cannot be overcome. Hitler was certain that his armor and air power would fare far better than Napoleon’s cavalry and artillery. Russia and America convinced themselves that helicopters and night vision would make for quick easy victories that the British showed us all was impossible against such peoples and such terrain.

Yes, the wealthy are putting their hopes for safety upon their hired guns, their drones and their mercenaries. No it does not work, but nothing can keep soft, greedy, stupid rich boys from trying to pull a fast one. After all it is not like they have any marketable skills or talents beside graft and corruption. In the end they will suffer and badly. ,

            Etymology of nation:

            c. 1300, from Old French nacion “birth, rank; descendants, relatives; country, homeland” (12c.) and directly from Latin nationem (nominative natio) “birth, origin; breed, stock, kind, species; race of people, tribe,” literally “that which has been born,” from natus, past participle of nasci “be born” (Old Latin gnasci), from PIE root *gene- “give birth, beget,” with derivatives referring to procreation and familial and tribal groups.

In any case, it takes a WHOLE LOT more than a single candidate/person to effect meaningful change in the world today. If nothing else, Trump should have taught us that!

Truly meaningful change will only come from the younger generations now, and it likely won’t be agreeable AT ALL to us older folks; who, after all, have fucked up the world into the state that it is. Trump isn’t even the harbinger; he’s the harbinger of the coming harbinger.

WalterB, As you say people don’t learn. It’s easier to ignore the past when you have shiny new toys to tell you “it’s different this time”.

No matter that they traversed half the distance to Moscow in the first week of the campaign, General Winter froze the panzers stiff. Literally. And then his mistress, Lady Spring, bogged them down.

So what’s the likelihood that someone, maybe sometime this century, maybe some “intellectual” with no grasp of the obvious, will be dunce enough to give it another shot. With the same result. Or, if not in Russia, maybe then in Afghanistan where TWICE in the past four decades, barefoot men riding donkeys beat the world’s best military machines.

They beat the British Empire too in such a thorough fashion that only a handful of those who went to Kabul as conquerors in 1839 made it back though the Khyber pass to the safety of Peshawar when they were forced to flee in 1841. Those lost included many of the wives and children who accompanied the soldiers and various dignitaries and about 12,000 Indian servants and camp followers. Lady Sales diary, describing the harrowing trip though the Khyber pass, is still extant. She was a tough old bird.

As Kipling said, save one bullet in case you are left wounded on the field. You don’t want the Afghan women to find you alive. The women carried mallets to crush the faces of the English dead – but they would have no problem doing it to the living. In fact they carried knives for just such special projects. I assume they would cut the genitals off and stuff them in the mouth before they crushed the face.

I could be wrong, but I never heard that they practiced cannibalism. All of this was just for fun and revenge. Western Women do all of this, but at a more subtle level.

When you’re wounded and left on Afghanistan’s plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Jest roll to your rifle and blow out your brains
An’ go to your Gawd like a soldier.

He was Chief of Scouts for the British Army in the Boer War but before that served as a scout for General George Crook in the Apache Wars in Arizona (1880s) Anyway, Apache women, if you got captured, would cut you up, skin you alive, scalp you, roast you over an open fire, stick you with thorns … all just for the fun of it.

Nobody wanted to get captured by the Apaches.

There is an obvious difference between the US citizens who are interested in lowering the US debt and those who are creditors of the US and they are interested not only in receiving their money (with interest) that they lent to the US, but also in the relative influence of this money on the US policy. And the influence of money is not expressed in numbers and requires a completely different analysis

But there is still full clarity of the influence of debt on the politics and it seems obvious to me that Trump (and the Bush axis) expresses the interests of US citizens who, through their citizenship are debtors, and the Clinton axis expresses the interests of US creditors.

In order to understand this, it is sufficient to assume, in the first approximation, that the force or influence of debt is described by the amount of US debt expressed in some tangible natural quantity, such as a barrel of Brent oil, and look at the corresponding graph.

Immediately, you can see which President and when reduced the debt (the red line is US debt in barrels of Brent crude oil), and the fall in the debt after 1997-98 is the consequence of Vladimir Putin coming to power and starting the rise in oil prices.

          Puck,
No one likes the idea, nor the moral hazard it represents. What to do with the millions of able bodied who cannot find work (Think of today’s unemployment taken to it/s logical extreme)? A new paradigm requires a new model…

          Employment, OR
          Maintenance, OR
          Elimination.

The Universal Basic Income concept allows for a subsistence level only…working allows one to better his/her circumstance while keeping the basic income.

I don’t necessarily like it, but I see no other potential solutions to what Malthusian dystopia awaits.

But the Sociologists are right: it would create tremendous psychological difficulties – but we’re essentially there already in any case.

Of course society might collapse for other reasons – with this as a contributing factor perhaps.

For some reason the transhumanism piece doesn’t mention that the gay Israeli historian Yuval Noah Harari promotes a similar view of an AI-dominated Future World in his celebrated book Homo Deus. I guess only white transhumanists can qualify as Future Nazis

The New York magazine article ironically offers people interested in the Alt Right’s ideas a resource for networking and further study. The authors have really done us a service by collecting and organizing a lot of information in one convenient place. Think of it as a dating site for ideas interested in having sex, in Matt Ridley’s memorable phrase.

The side article on New York’s website which associates transhumanism with the Alt Right does have a point, in that transhumanists accept that genes determine intelligence, and that genetic engineering gives us the ability to turn out better babies. Once you go down that path, the fantasies of human biodiversity-denial and “equality” disappear pretty quickly..

This sounds like the stock trader who JHK recently interviewed?

“In any case, the end of work will not necessarily mean the end of meaning, because meaning is generated by imagining rather than by working. Work is essential for meaning only according to some ideologies and lifestyles. Eighteenth-century English country squires, present-day ultra-orthodox Jews, and children in all cultures and eras have found a lot of interest and meaning in life even without working. People in 2050 will probably be able to play deeper games and to construct more complex virtual worlds than in any previous time in history.

But what about truth? What about reality? Do we really want to live in a world in which billions of people are immersed in fantasies, pursuing make-believe goals and obeying imaginary laws? Well, like it or not, that’s the world we have been living in for thousands of years already.”

Now we can continue on with our agenda” (whatever that is) seems to be the general consensus.

You mention unemployment in western and northern Europe. Even before the muzzie invasion unemployment stood at between 12-20%. Now millions of refugees need jobs. But there are no jobs to be had and most of them will end up on some form of state welfare … for their entire lives.

If anyone saved the world from a nuclear war, then General Michael Flynn undoubtedly occupies a place of honor in this row next to John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

And it is clear that the Clintonoids wanted to unleash that war in the last days of Obama administration, and expulsion of 35 Russian diplomats in impossible to comply by 72 hours was more of an excuse than a cause.

Now they are enraged that Michael Flynn did not allow events to develop according to a catastrophic scenario, thus preventing a nuclear war with Russia, which the outgoing administration tried to arrange 20 days before the end of its term of office.

    • DA May 9, 2017 at 6:37 pm #

That’s probably overstating the case a tad. I’m certain they wanted to unleash a showdown, which might have possibly led to a nuclear exchange of some sort; but generally speaking, if they had wanted nuclear war outright, that could probably have been executed without any pretext whatsoever, as the whys and wherefores would almost certainly have been moot points in the aftermath.

The whole sordid affair was more likely just an elaborate potboiler ginned up to keep Hillary’s quote/unquote “Commander in Chief bonafides” in play prior to the election, with any possible actual geo-political benefits being just an added bonus. Just makes the dumb bitch and her entire entourage look all that much more desperate and ridiculous now in hindsight, but I’m sure they saw nothing but upside at the time.

But you’re right that the whole Flynn is a criminal and/or traitor meme us nothing more than an unsubstantiated Clinton/Obama smokescreen. Quite amazing that we’re even still talking about any of this at this late date.

    Mais oui Walter.

Consider that some pretty crafty French politicos and civil servants did not sell, or give back, their overseas departments i.e. French Polynesia, Guadeloupe, St. Martin…. SO right there shows a glimmer of sanity. As opposed to disturbed Denmark which, in 1917, sold the Danish West Indies to Unkle Schmuel for a mere 25 million bucks, but they kept Greenland? Those Danes are not right in the head are they?

Then consider the French appreciation for the things of Excellence: Cartier, Versailles, Monet, Diderot, truffles, Christian Dior, Monaco, Chanel, Dassault, Bordeaux wine, Descartes , Van Cleef and Arpels, bidets, Burgundy wine, Delueze and Guattari, palais and chateaux, Chamonix, Hermes, Champagne, Degas, lingerie, Voltaire, Eifel Tower, The Foreign Legion, great cuisine and alimentation, chemises Charvet , basically the Collection Colbert, more fine art etc. And I am not even a Francophile.

Against : Citroen cars, capitulation, the love of Jerry Lewis films and voting for a NWO banker slimebag. Hmm.

Yes, on the whole I think there are still sane French who would like to save their country; most would do the right thing – they just haven’t been shown the right films:

Add some Walter/Wendy Carlos interpreting with Beethoven’s genius and Kubrick cinemagic and viola:

So the question you pose Is – is being jaded, spoiled with only occasional bouts of Yzlamik over-exuberance and celebrations, and having apathy the same as being not-sane?

On further consideration you come across as the rather scary captain depicted in Slint’s classic album ‘Spiderland’ For you, the closer track ‘Good Morning, captain’ You should check it out good captain. Or maybe you already have, and this is the reason for your online demeanor.

Getting really tired of your slagging off of the EU. Yes, there is much that needs changing about it – mostly in the economic field – but one thing is sure, Europe will survive long after the US has reverted to its pre-industrial past. Taking pot-shots at current EU travails from your up-state NY eyrie is too easy and your ignorance of actual life on this side of the Atlantic is embarrassingly visible. Ill informed pontificating about the lives of others easily reduced to such stereotypes may fill a few lines in your flagging blog but it contributes a big zero to understanding or insight of the reality here.

In regards to “the EU’s self-induced refugee glut”, the EU member states acting under the aegis of NATO shouldn’t have engaged in regime change in Iraq, Libya, or ongoing attempted regime change in Syria. That is where the bulk of the refugees are coming from. On top of that you have refugees from sub-Saharan African states who once upon a time were colonies under some of those same EU member states.

So as far as history is concerned, those EU member states (along with the USA) made this refugee shit sandwich. So France and the rest of Europe can belly up to the table, tuck a napkin in their shirt collar and chow down.

Don’t worry ‘Merica, you will have an all you can eat shit buffet before long…

engaged in regime change in Iraq, Libya, or ongoing attempted regime change in Syria

You’re forgetting the successful Nazi-led regime change in Ukraine and attempted regime change in US by overthrowing a Constitutionally-elected President.

      • DA May 9, 2017 at 10:30 am #

By “Nazi-led” I’m assuming you mean “US neo-lib/con sponsored Nazi-led.” And the attempted “regime change” in the US was more of a case of an un-elected but enduring “shadow regime” (the term “shadow —-” now being so overused it’s virtually useless as a descriptor anymore) reasserting its claim to legitimacy in the face of an elected outside challenger, if indeed Trump was even that. If nothing else, we’re receiving a long overdue, very instructive civics lesson in how power actually works in the world these days.

      • PostPeakRancher May 9, 2017 at 2:54 pm #

        Finca,

Yes, I forgot about Ukraine. It is really hard to keep track of all the regime changes happening around the world at the hands of NATO. I also forgot the 2009 US supported coup in Honduras. And of course, I also forgot the ongoing economic warfare going on against Venezuela. Yes, they do have quite the government mismanagement but the US is working with the opposition behind the scenes and has been ever since the election of Chavez.

As for “attempted regime change in US by overthrowing a Constitutionally-elected President.” I’m assuming you are talking about the Deep State and company trying to remove Trump. That remains to be seen. If they remove him by the book, impeachment or Amendment 25 section 4 of the Constitution then it is a perfectly legal removal of the Executive. It doesn’t matter what his critics or supporters think in that case. He is dreadfully unpopular, lost the popular vote, and loses support everyday among “independents” who voted for him b/c he didn’t represent the status quo like Clinton did.

Are the Americans really that naive? You do realize that we’re talking about the Hillary wing of the Obama administration, right? Not so much naive, as supremely arrogant. And you’re looking too far for the latest incarnation of the Roman Empire. “The Third Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation” is the full official name of the Nazi Germany. (1933 – 1945).

Yes, Finc is Jewish. Everything he says must be passed thru that filter. They don’t assimilate – not really or at least very seldom. He’s always trying to misdirect attention away from the Hidden Power. Thus he serves their Coming King of the World – the Anti-Christ.

What I referred to as The Western Black Project is religious, philosophical, mystical, conceptual and anti-Christian foundation of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation.

May be that could explain the fondness of the New York financiers with various secret rituals.

Masonry is Jewish to its very core. Higher Masonry does have a few non-specifically Jewish symbols like the Eye in the Pyramid. But in any case, all Western Occultism for the last thousand years and more comes from the Jews. And they acquired much of that in Babylon and other places. Of course they give no credit….

Thus who do the “workmen” work for? Who are the Masters? They are here now and Masonry has served its purpose in making the way smooth for them. Yet it still serves apparently, at least for now. And the Jews asked for and got their own charter for their own version of the Scottish Rite, Bnai Brith, or Sons of the Covenant. No non-Jews allowed. Meanwhile all other branches of Masonry are open to Jews. That alone should tell you something as to who the Masters are. The Jews gained entry into the elite WASP Skull and Bones cult decades ago.

    • Janos Skorenzy May 9, 2017 at 2:19 pm #

The Nazis realized early on that Christianity was failing to provide the Philosophical Foundation that would allow the West to oppose the Globalist initiative of the Hidden Power. Even Orthodoxy with its national churches is far too weak. Unless Christianity can change in this regard, it must be pushed aside in favor of some other philosophy.

As the Muslims say, Jesus taught the way to the other world. Mohammad taught the way in this world and the way to the other world. That being said, who knows what Christ really thought about these things? Nothing was ever recorded about it. What we have is very small and narrow. Compare that to the volumes we have of Mohammad and Buddha.

      • DA May 9, 2017 at 9:45 pm #

Indeed they did, although I doubt Hitler spent much time thinking that far ahead. He came from modest means, was of modest (albeit considerably practical) intelligence, and apparently had no real plan, other than take over Europe. He was a true man of his times thrust onto the main stage of history. After that, a whole lot of twisted sadistic fucks just opportunistically followed.

As far as Jesus, I’ve settled on the idea that he’s mostly an apocryphal figure, as I suspect that most religious figures are, representing mostly an ideal of his believer’s generalized and greatly societally conditioned hopes and dreams. Was there an actual Jesus who died on the cross to save you and me? NO, and I doubt very many people (even professed “washed in the blood” Christians) actually believe that anymore. But the TRUE VALUE is in THE STORY – aka THE MYTH! THAT’S where western society has gone off the rails! In repudiating its founding myths!

        • pequiste May 10, 2017 at 2:26 am #

Hitler was thinking in Millennial terms DA. The Thousand Year Reich was the plan.

Agreed. I just wonder how concrete any of that thinking was. As a philosophical ideal it sounds great, but as a practical matter it’s hard to imagine. He was given an exceedingly long leash by western capitalist sympathizers as well of course, including none other than master deal maker Herr Allen Dulles and his entire rogues gallery.

          • Janos Skorenzy May 10, 2017 at 2:59 pm #

You have to understand how they work. It’s not that they wanted Hitler to win or didn’t care – the nascent New World Order obviously wanted America to triumph. But they always try to keep their foot in the door; or to keep a bit on money on all the numbers on the wheel. Thus they never lose completely.

Israel did business with South Africa, a country of White Untouchables. So they wanted South Africa to survive? Of course not – they supported to ban on trade. So? So they wanted to make money off it as it fell. Plus they had a lot of business interest inside the country so they didn’t want it to suffer too much during the transition to Black rule. But as for the White themselves – they want them to suffer unto death.

So I hear that there’s a push to get Sally Yates up on Mt Rushmore.

What great TV. Sally tellin’ it like it is. Sally stickin’ it to The Man. Yep, Sally standing up for what’s right, chin jutting, tall and proud and strong. A real marine. And her pathetic adversaries, weenies one and all, slack jawed and in awe. Of her certainty, of her calm and steady voice, of her preparation, of her steely intellect, of her command of the FACTS.

My goodness, I’m still breathless. I wish I was like Sally. Don’t you? Don’t you wish we all are? Sally for President. Sarcasm off.

Lying about talking to a Russki was boneheaded but not a crime. But Flynn was no office clerk, in fact I would expect him to talk to the Russkis especially if Russia IS an adversary to the US, not that I’m persuaded that it is. He’d be derelict in his duties if he wasn’t. He gave the Russians “leverage” over him? What bullshit. For what, chatting with their ambassador? Please.

Oh yeah, he has “links” to the Russians. And those dreaded “ties”. Give me strength.

OK, you want to talk bizness? The Russian company Rosatom acquired one fifth of all the uranium assets in the US. The State Dept had to approve the deal while Hillary was Sec of State.

According to the NY Times $2.3 million in “donations” from parties to the deal went to the Clinton Foundation plus 500Gs for speaking fees to Bill personally from a Kremlin-linked investment bank that was promoting Uranium One stock. And the State Dept signed off on the acquisition. The donations weren’t publicly disclosed by the Clintons as they had agreed to do. Tell me, does this deal stink to you ?

Inversions of reality are counterproductive. You’ think that all those degreed Democrats would know this. So, as to the matter of the travel ban, you have to twist facts into pretzels and to invent cauldrons of fantasy to paint this the way that Sally and her cohorts – those mendacious sacks of shit that pose as the party of the little guy – painted it.

Notwithstanding that it was Obama’s boys that fingered those few Muslim countries as being bastions of really bad stuff, there are many Muslim countries in this world, there are many with substantial Muslim populations. Like France. The travel ban didn’t apply to all of them, just the worst, the ones that OBAMA’S boys pointed out.

Have to say that the Democrats aren’t helping their own cause. Like all intellectuals they have the greatest difficulty seeing what’s in plain view. And what’s in plain view is that they’ve lost hundreds of elected positions in the states and federal legislative branches. They couldn’t even beat Trump.

But merely losing doesn’t mean that they’re wrong on the issues. They could be right and still lose. But they’re wrong on the issues too. In fact, on what matters most, on the main economic issues, they’re as wrong as their political counterparts. For all their blather, the policies of the two, enrichment of the rich, affliction of the poor, are carbon copies.

Nope, the Republicans have better play-acting and better marketing. They tell the ordinary guy, I’m on YOUR side. I’ll fight for you. The Democrats, bone-headed as they are, say I despise you. And so they lose elections that are IMPOSSIBLE to lose.

But, make no mistake, the Democrats are out to fuck everyone except those few on the Do Not Fuck List. If you’re reading this blog, you’re not on the list.

    • FincaInTheMountains May 9, 2017 at 12:01 pm #

The Logan Act of 1799 forbidding US citizens to conduct private negotiations with a subject of international law in a state of “dispute” with the US government.

This law was applied only once in 1803 to condemn the naughty Bonapartist farmer spreading some gibberish, but in 1994 it was very prudently activated by Hillary Clinton, being the all-powerful First Lady of the United States and the “king” of medical reform.

Technically, Gen. Flynn violated the Logan Act on December 29, 2016 by conversing with Russian Ambassador Kislyak to arrange evacuation of 35 Russian diplomats expelled in impossible to comply by 72 hours time period.

In fact, General Flynn acted as a true American patriot and honorable officer in the interests of preventing a major international conflict with very real potential of going nuclear.

Strange since Pike was all for segregation in Masonry. Perhaps they’ve been duped too. “How do you KNOW you are NOT a white person?”

I am a white person by default…when people see me, those racist motherfuckers, describe me as “white”…when I worked in the Ghetto, the locals never called me “nigga”(Though I was called a “motherfucker” more than I can count) This has been happening to me for 70 years…I would feel enriched by the cultural diversity you “represent”…I yearn for the simple, happy lifestyle found in the ghetto…the simple, uncomplicated social structure…the brotherhood. Sadly, I think people see me as “white” because my parents were both of Northern European stock, and, even more damning, were married.

Go on Trump, drown the motherfakas in the outhouse!!!

According to one of the basic concepts of the Black Project, super-humans that the adepts of this worldview naturally consider themselves, possess a quality of moral superiority, which means not that this concept means in English, but that super men, perfekti (or simply SS), possess a high moral ground even when behaving like a bastardly scoundrel.

This is a very important cultural characteristic and the Clinton State Department insisted on subordinating US foreign policy to it. In particular, the US should not have participated in direct negotiations with North Korea, since such negotiations presuppose some kind of equality of the parties.

And first Trump states that he is honored to meet with Kim Jong Un, and then Trump’s administration, having previously frightened everyone to death with the prospect of atomic war, broke the State Department over his knee and despite the protests of the super-men entered into direct bilateral negotiations with the North Korea, which is not without the help of the USSR, but inflicted in the 50s military defeat on US.

Away from the saber-rattling, North Korean and US delegations meet quietly in Norway
    https://uk.news.yahoo.com/away-sabre-rattling-north-korean-044522962.html

And although the negotiations are still secret, but Condoleezza Rice is already thrashing in hysterics.

Saw Condi on The Today Show this morning. She looked oddly placid and sedate(d). Matt Lauer tried to bait her into attacking Trump, but she wouldn’t do it.

Kim Jong Un strikes me almost as a false flag candidate. For all of his hysterics he’s drawing remarkably little attention. In the end, until he’s a legitimate threat to the west coast of the US, I doubt most Americans would give a shit, even if he leveled South Korea. Other than the loss of their electronic toy industry of course.

Up in Vancouver BC (locally known as Hongcouver), a biker lad by the name of Robert Pickton murdered over 50 diseased whores and got rid of them by dumping the bodies into his pig pen. He picked them up on the Eastside, used the skanks for his various boys scout activities, and then into the porcine food chain. He butchered and sold the pigs locally…..the buyers remarked on the high quality of Pickton pork. Just one more reason to be a vegetarian…..animal eaters deserve the cancer and heart disease that results from being a top-of-the-food-chain carnivore in a polluted, poisoned world.

Trump fired the FBI director Comey!!!
    http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/fbi-director-james-comey-fired/story?id=47309009

It’s ridiculous to listen to the comments of the American political commentators, who lie so much that they forgot how Comey shielded Hillary Clinton from the impact of Servergate, how he framed Trump with a report on the ongoing investigation of his election campaign on counterintelligence grounds and how he was going to authorize the arrest of Trump on April 5!!!

    • DA May 9, 2017 at 7:49 pm #

This strikes me at first blush as more retribution on the part of the Clintonistas and their loyalists, who are no doubt still exercising considerable power now that Trump has been put back on his leash. Trump’s immediate repudiation of his campaign promise to put Hillary behind bars should have been a dead giveaway. Trump talks a mean game but he’s all transparently pure bluster at this point. I can’t imagine listening to his shit for three and a half more years.

    • Pucker May 9, 2017 at 7:53 pm #

Or maybe Trump is just another Sleazy Carny politician who fired Comey to preempt an FBI investigation into his son-in-law’s (Kushner) EB-5 visa project which violates multiple US securities laws and involves potential fraud?

Could be, but I think it’s already bigger than that. Trump’s not so much corrupt at this point, as he is corrupted. He owes so many people high and low now that he doesn’t know where the payoffs end and the gratuities begin. Hell, the dumb bastard might well have fired Comey just to fill a news cycle.

Deep Sate, my ass == me

Could you for a minute turn on some logical thinking here?! Isn’t that notorious Deep State is just a bunch of career bureaucrats living in DC/VA? Don’t they have kids or grandkids going to some American school?

Why in the world would they want to overthrow Trump by arranging a nuclear war between US and Russia?!

Even in the best case scenario, half of US population would be dead or dying, even if US “wins” the conflict.

RUSSIA DENIES SECRET NUCLEAR BOMB THREAT TO U.S. INVOLVING ‘MOLE’ MISSILES

    • DA May 9, 2017 at 8:50 pm #

You bring up a good point which should probably be addressed. The “Deep State” that everyone’s so fond of bandying about these days (probably by design, but that’s a subject for another post) has now been sufficiently watered down that it means almost whatever any particular user says it means. But in general, most people (and especially the MSM) use it as a mere shorthand for what is variously referred to as the enduring state, the bureaucratic state, the enduring bureaucratic state, the un-elected state, the permanent state, or what Harvard Professor Michael Glennon termed the “Trumanite network” in his 2014 article for Harvard National Security Journal, entitled National Security and Double Government. In other words, the un-elected, professional, mostly careerist, and thus “permanent,” departmental civil servants who endure beyond the mere elected comings and goings of the professional politicians who “rule” them.

But that’s just the barest tip of the iceberg poking above the water for the common people to see. The truth of the matter goes MUCH, MUCH DEEPER than that, as any professional civil servant you might know, no matter how lowly their rank, would readily tell you. And of course it goes MUCH, MUCH deeper than that as well.

Although Prof Glennon’s excellent article is itself another example of “just the tip of the iceberg,” its instructive at how far even official academic sources have come in cracking the nut that is “the US Deep State,” and perhaps even more ominously, at how little the Deep State even cares if it is “exposed” to the dumbed-down masses.

Full article here: http://harvardnsj.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/Glennon-Final.pdf Note: although the full article checks in at 114 pages, probably half of that or more is in in-text notes and references. Researched?

      An excerpt from his conclusion:

To many, inculcated in the hagiography of Madisonian checks and
balances and oblivious of the reach of Trumanite power, the response to these realizations will be denial. The image of a double national security government will be shocking. It cannot be right. It sounds of conspiracy, “a state within,” and other variations on that theme. “The old notion that our Government is an extrinsic agency,” Bagehot wrote, “still rules our imaginations.”603 That the Trumanite network could have emerged in full public view and without invidious intent makes its presence all the more implausible. Its existence challenges all we have been taught.

There is, however, little room for shock. The pillars of America’s double government have long stood in plain view for all to see. We have learned about significant aspects of what Bagehot described—from some eminent thinkers. Max Weber’s work on bureaucracies showed that, left unchecked, the inexorability of bureaucratization can lead to a “polar night of icy darkness” in which humanitarian values are sacrificed for abstract organizational ends.604 Friedrich Hayek’s work on political organization led
him to conclude that “the greatest danger to liberty today comes from the men who are most needed and most powerful in government, namely, the efficient expert administrators exclusively concerned with what they regard as the public good.”605 Eric Fromm’s work on social psychology showed how people unconsciously adopt societal norms as their own to avoid anxiety-producing choices, so as to “escape from freedom.”606 Irving Janis’s work on group dynamics showed that the greater a group’s esprit de corps, “the greater the danger that independent critical thinking will be replaced by
groupthink, which is likely to result in irrational and dehumanizing actions directed against out-groups.”607 Michael Reisman’s work on jurisprudence has shown how de facto operational codes can quietly arise behind publicly embraced myth systems, allowing for governmental conduct that is not approved openly by the law.608 Mills’ 1956 work on power elites showed that the centralization of authority among officials who hold a common world view and operate in secrecy can produce a “military metaphysic” directed at maintaining a “permanent war economy.”609 One person familiar
with Mills’ work was political scientist Malcolm Moos, the presidential
speechwriter who five years later wrote President Eisenhower’s prophetic warning.610 “In the councils of government,” Eisenhower said, “we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.”611

Bagehot anticipated these risks. Bureaucracy, he wrote, is “the most unimproving and shallow form of government,”612 and the executive that commands it “the most dangerous.”613 “If it is left to itself,” he observed, “without a mixture of special and non-special minds,” decisional authority “will become technical, self-absorbed, self-multiplying.”614 The net result is responsibility that is neither fixed nor ascertainable but diffused and hidden,615 with implications that are beyond historical dispute. “The most disastrous decisions in the twentieth century,” in Robert Dahl’s words, “turned out to be those made by authoritarian leaders freed from democratic restraints.”616

The benefits derived by the United States from double government —enhanced technical expertise, institutional memory and experience, quick-footedness, opaqueness in confronting adversaries, policy stability, and insulation from popular political oscillation and decisional idiosyncrasy —need hardly be recounted. Those benefits, however, have not been costfree. The price lies in well-known risks flowing from centralized power, unaccountability, and the short-circuiting of power equilibria. Indeed, in this regard the Framers thought less in terms of risk than certainty. John Adams spoke for many: “The nation which will not adopt an equilibrium of power must adopt a despotism. There is no other alternative.”617

The trivial risk of sudden despotism, of an abrupt turn to a police state or dictatorship installed with coup-like surprise, has created a false sense of security in the United States.618 That a strongman of the sort easily visible in history could suddenly burst forth is not a real risk. The risk, rather, is the risk of slowly tightening centralized power, growing and evolving organically beyond public view, increasingly unresponsive to Madisonian checks and balances. Madison wrote, “There are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations.”619 Recent history bears out his insight. Dahl has pointed out that in the 20th century—the century of democracy’s great triumph—some seventy democracies collapsed and quietly gave way to authoritarian
regimes.620 That risk correlates with voter ignorance; the term Orwellian has little meaning to a people who have never known anything different, who have scant knowledge of history, civics, or public affairs, and who in any event have likely never heard of George Orwell. “If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization,” Thomas Jefferson wrote, “it expects what never was and never will be.”621 What form of government ultimately will emerge from the United States’ experiment with double
government is uncertain. The risk is considerable, however, that it will not be a democracy.

      • DA May 9, 2017 at 9:11 pm #

I’d like to re-emphasize Glennon’s opening quote above, to the many who have dismissed me as a mere ‘”conspiracy theorist:”

“To many, inculcated in the hagiography of Madisonian checks and
balances and oblivious of the reach of Trumanite power, the response to these realizations will be denial. The image of a double national security government will be shocking. It cannot be right. It sounds of conspiracy, “a state within,” and other variations on that theme.”

This is what it ALWAYS sounds like to the true believers (the few) and the fast asleep (the many). And of course that’s what they’re CONDITIONED to think over time as well, through such obvious means as propaganda/advertising, as well as such subtle means as culturally pervasive operant conditioning. That’s just how democracies work in the late 20th and early 21st centuries! More and more by cleverly concealed (subliminal where possible) persuasion, and less and less by coercion.

Why didn’t Trump fire him on day one and appoint a special prosecutor to go after Queen Hillary then, like he promised to do during the campaign just weeks before? Trump’s been doing nothing but backtracking ever since he fired Michael Flynn, even though there’s never been any “there” there. Nothing seems to add up in this whole sordid affair, which tells me we’re likely being played. And if this is all part of some sort of grand diversion, what’s the event that they’re spending so much energy diverting our attention from in the first place? That might be the better question here.

Pequiste, if you can find tin foil ( which I seriously doubt) you had better watch out as it has MANY seriuos health risks. And your concerned about RF energy? Build a portable Faraday Cage and live in it like “The Boy in the Bubble”! Some health effects of Tin include:
The uptake of tin bonds can cause acute effects as well as long-term effects.

        Acute effects are:
        – Eye and skin irritations
        – Headaches
        – Stomachaches
        – Sickness and dizziness
        – Severe sweating
        – Breathlessness
        – Urination problems

        Long-term effects are:
        – Depressions
        – Liver damage
        – Malfunctioning of immune systems
        – Chromosomal damage
        – Shortage of red blood cells
        – Brain damage (causing anger, sleeping disorders, forgetfulness and headaches)

        • pequiste May 10, 2017 at 2:13 pm #

Thank you StElmo, for the warning about “tin” – Sn. I only used that nomenclature as it is colloquially utilized to denigrate persons who may be aware of, and those who articulate irregularities, anomalies or outright conspiracies in all spheres of human activity.

E.g.: That David Icke fellow is a tin-foil-hat nutter with all that talk about shape shifting lizard people dominating politics and such.

Many of the acute and long term symptoms of tin exposure that you list could also be from overexposure to microwaves and other radiation.

I should have been less cute and more clear by saying I wanted to be well equipped with flexible and resistant (including from the weather ) aluminum foil garments, chapeau and accessories from all of the super- saturation of the environment by R.F. and ionizing radiation being produced by industry and government activities. Much of it detrimental if not plain dangerous or deadly to biological systems.

McCain, the bombing curmudgeon, still resentful and bitter that a man like Trump is sitting in the chair that he, Big John, spent a lifetime grooming himself for, believes this is one more reason to wage war on Russia, and Trump.

The main factor of not only Russian, but the world politics, remains the political consolidation of the Russian society, its deep state of internal peace.

The ability of the Russian people to independently, contrary to the hecticness of the elites, distinguish between eternal values and momentary fluctuations was proved once again on the triumphal march of the Immortal Regiment.

The public recognition by a hardened cynic and an experienced politician – US Ambassador to Russia Tefft, that this made an indelible impression – is much more valuable than any anti-Russian information campaigns in the West.

Calm, sincere, non-politicized and devoid of ideology people’s march as if on purpose was held in the worst conditions for such actions – with the worst weather possible in May, during the traditional May holidays with the departure of most of the townspeople to dachas or to tourist trips.

Slow preparation of family relics for the general holiday was held against the backdrop of frankly provocative actions of “system” liberals from the Moscow mayor’s office, after a series of painful disasters and terrorist attacks, as well as massive information warfare of Western media and social networks about the future of Syria, the former Ukraine, as well as about the Meanings of the Great Patriotic War.

The second most significant event was the completion of the initial stage of the transfer, or rather, the intercept of power in the US by the Trump administration.

The departure of the director of the FBI Comey became a spectacular point.

Comey more or less fulfilled his job as a temporary guarantor of the behind-the-scenes agreement between Trump and Hillary about refusing to challenge the election results in exchange for refusing to prosecute the Servergate and other scandals such as the murder of Ambassador Stevens in Benghazi.

The director Comey, who was under high pressure from all sides, might have wanted to resign, but he could not do this until the final clarification of the relations in the higher establishment.

Now his departure means achieving a relatively stable balance of power after the exchange of figures on the chessboard and a number of compromises, primarily on the defense budget.

The sign of such a compromise with the losers was the appointment of Senator McCain’s wife a watchdog of the State Department.

Such a bloc against the influence of the remaining globalists on US foreign policy will allow for a purge unprecedented since Senator McCarthy.

DA, this Deep State that you describe in this post is a highly malleable mechanism. Because unlike mechanisms made of metal that hold their shape, this device is made of people.

High malleability can be great advantage because it makes the device adaptable. This is also its weakness. At some point the wheels come off.

Because the underlying purpose of this thing is survival, and because of its adaptability, it will show staying power. But it needs resources. But these resources get depleted as the economy, from which it siphoned tax money, gets moved off-shore. No matter how adaptable, this thing can only shrink as its blood-supply gets choked off.

The gangrenous part of the Roman Empire – based in Rome – fell off the stronger territory in the eastern Mediterranean ruled from Constantinople. That latter section went on for centuries longer. That shows the adaptability of such a mechanism.

I think that the US might follow a similar course. This center of power, this Deep State, once insatiable and ever expanding while it had the resources, will have to contract because it no longer has never ending convoys of goods and money. And so it will have to conduct amputations.

So what goes first? Overseas dependencies and protectorates will be cut off. Bye-bye Korea and Japan. And so long NATO. And then good-bye mainland peripheries.

In the case of the US, I think its mainland “peripheries” will be the states of the Old Confederacy that refuse to bend to dictates from Washington, as well as the US interior. What remains is a coastal shell. The center will no longer be able to impose its will on that immense territorial “hole”.

These abandoned areas might see it differently. They’ll see the center based in Washington as the gangrenous part that needed amputation. Abandonment? More like Liberation.

Keep in mind however, that the malignant core of “the deep state” (actually it’s MUCH deeper than that, as it’s now global and owes no allegiance to any one nation state, other than as a practical matter in the short term), controls the money supply world wide, so even though it can be expected that that money supply will shrink (by design) over time, perhaps catastrophically, the globalist oligarchy will be the last one’s holding, as well as (and more importantly) all the assets they bought up with it on the way down.

Is allegiance to money – a mere transactional token of exchange when you think about it – at its heart a delusion? Of course it is in the abstract. But in the real world we live in where everyone subscribes to that delusion and believes in its power, having or not having money has all too real consequences. By the same token, once that delusion is popped, the stampede for the exits will be truly awe inspiring.

I think what we’ll see (and are already seeing) is the US globalist corporate oligarchy and its deep state components morph into something even more virulent as conditions on the ground continue to change. Their marriage with US capitalism was always one of convenience to align with the admittedly optimal conditions for it’s malignant growth here in North America. But the difference this time is that the US and the Americas were literally the last virgin territory to be exploited on earth, so barring a nonsensical push into space (which will never happen), some sort of radical retrenchment must surely be in order this time around.

Although we’ve grown quite enamored of our many synthetic virtual realities these days, in the end humans are biological creatures with biological needs, and our sheer numbers have already grown to levels such that neither our virtual nor our actual physical realities can be sustained for much longer.

A much less efficient alternative would have been to buy the 3X Inverse Oil ETF (DWT). Today oil is down another 1.2%. The CL trade is now up some 60%. Oil is due for a bounce…but barring nuclear war it should fall to 40 this year……and possibly revisit 35 or even 30. “The director Comey, who was under high pressure from all sides, might have wanted to resign, but he could not do this until the final clarification of the relations in the higher establishment.” –finca

You think FBI Director Comey wanted to be fired, effective immediately, and learn about it on TV?

After the U.S. intelligence community suggested that Russian President Vladimir Putin drove an “influence campaign” to ensure Donald Trump’s win over Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential elections, the FBI testified that a counter-intelligence investigation is being conducted on the alleged Russian interference.

“The stated reasons for Comey’s dismissal are pretextual. They are so transparently, ludicrously pretextual that we should all feel at least a little bit insulted. The putative basis for Comey’s firing is a three page memo, dated May 9, faulting his public handling of the Hillary Clinton e-mail server investigation, and a recommendation from Attorney General Jeff Sessions, also dated May 9, that Comey be dismissed on that basis. The three-page memo levels a number of fundamentally valid criticisms. It is also, as perhaps three page memos must necessarily be, pretty conclusory: It renders a verdict without much more than a gesture in the direction of an argument, and preempts a pending Inspector General investigation that would have produced a lengthy and serious account and analysis of Comey’s actions. While I’m inclined to agree with the memo’s critiques, underdeveloped as they are, they would be an extraordinarily thin basis on which to remove an FBI director, even if you thought they were the real basis. And they’re clearly not the real basis.

We are asked to believe that the decision to fire the FBI director–so abruptly he learned about it from a cable news chyron while out of D.C.–was based on a dashed off memo, and a response from the Attorney General, both issued the same day. We are asked to believe that it was motivated by Comey’s breaches of FBI protocol: First, in publicly criticizing Hillary Clinton, rather than letting Attorney General Loretta Lynch announce the decision that the former Secretary would not be indicted, and then in informing Congress that he had (fruitlessly, as it turned out) reopened the investigation into her e-mails. These are breaches both Trump and Sessions praised effusively at the time, with Sessions even declaring that Comey had an “absolute duty” to act as he did. All of them, of course, were well known long before Trump took office and chose to retain Comey.

The most charitable thing one can say about this narrative is that it is not even intended as a serious attempt to advance a genuine rationale. It is an attempt to be cute. Having been directed to concoct a reason to eliminate Comey, the Attorney General ran with a slapdash pastiche of Democrats’ complaints. Anyone who’s been on a long car trip with a sibling knows this gag: “Stop hitting yourself! Stop hitting yourself!” The only people even pretending to take this explanation seriously are those paid for the indignity.” –Julian Sanchez

Elect a clown. Expect a circus.

“They fired Sally Yates. They fired Preet Bharara. And they fired James Comey, the very man leading the investigation. This does not seem to be a coincidence,” Schumer said shortly after the announcement, calling for a special independent prosecutor into the Trump campaign’s ties to the Kremlin.

“Any person who he appoints to lead the Russian investigation will be concerned that he or she will meet the same fate as Director Comey,” he said.

Trump’s presidency is illegitimate. Not only did he lose the popular vote, he collaborated with Russia to win the electoral vote.

Firing Comey is a Nixonian cover-up move (Nixon fired Archibald Cox) showing how desperate Trump is. Didn’t work for Nixon. Won’t work for Trump, because all he has done is fan the flames and insure his eventual impeachment and removal from office.

It will be Congress’ turn to say to Trump: “You’re fired!”

Sorry janet, that just makes your comment illegitimate. Like it or not, the election standard was the electoral college win, and there’s still no evidence of Russian collaboration to influence the outcome. None.

I’ll admit that Trump has botched pretty much everything else since, but electing Queen HRC, who should have been in jail awaiting trial prior to the election, would have hardly made matters any better. We’ll see how it plays out for Trump, but at this point events are too surreal to even venture a guess as to how it all turns out. I suspect there’s a larger agenda(s) afoot.

If Elrond is the Darkness, representing the worst aspects of the so called Enlightenment, where is the Light? Here: a Frenchman who thrown off the constricting shackles of the Enlightenment, shackles which mean the death of France, Western Culture, and the White Race. Fascism? No National Socialism, with peak everything acknowledged and calculated in with the rest.

Thomas Jackson, American Renaissance, February 2011

Guillaume Faye, Archeofuturism, Arktos Media, 2010, 249 pp., $22.95, available from arktos.com, soft cover, (originally written in 1998)

Guillaume Faye is one of the most brilliant and provocative writers to emerge from the French New Right. He has written a great deal in his long and varied career, but Archeofuturism is his best-known and probably most important book. Written in 1998, only now has it been translated into English, thanks to the Arktos Media publishing group, which has made a number of New Right classics available to English-speakers.

    Archeofuturism by Guillaume Faye

Archeofuturism is hard to place on an American political spectrum. It is openly race-realist — “The ethnic question today is taboo, and hence crucial” — but has a revolutionary fervor that we associate with the left. Dr. Faye is passionately attached to the people and culture of Europe but wants completely to overthrow the current civilization. “The only strategy is all-out war,” he writes. “Compromise must be abolished.”

Archeofuturism is Dr. Faye’s blueprint for the future age that will succeed the cataclysms we are foolishly bringing upon ourselves. Much of it is fanciful, but Dr. Faye’s guesses about the future are never dull, and are based in a far more realistic understanding of history and human nature than the babblings of conventional “futurologists.”

    The importance of race

Dr. Faye takes it for granted that race is real. “I insist on the importance of biological kinship to define peoples, and particularly the family of European peoples,” he writes. “The inherited characteristics of a people shape its culture and outlook.” This is why he so opposes “the current demographic colonization of Europe by Afro-Asiatic peoples, which is prudishly called ‘immigration’.” He asserts that Third-Worlders have none of the notions of brotherhood or “multi-culturalism” that hypnotize whites; they come with the intent to dominate. “One land, one people: this is what human nature requires,” he writes, noting that only whites pretend otherwise.

For Dr. Faye, the notion of the West is disappearing, eventually to be replaced by a northern coalition of whites facing waves of invasion: “The twenty-first century will witness global ethnic warfare and the legions of immigrants in Europe will serve as the ‘fifth column’ of an aggressive South.” He points out that all non-whites think in terms of race, “unlike Parisian intellectuals,” and that our rulers are digging their own graves just as surely as they are digging ours: “We shall be submerged by more vital, more youthful and less well-meaning peoples with the complicity of a delinquent bourgeoisie that — whatever it may do — will itself be swept away by the tide it has so heedlessly caused.”

Dr. Faye has nothing but contempt for the present era. The central dogma of the age is egalitarianism, he writes, and it survives only because of a blind faith in miracles. The dogma’s failures are evident everywhere; just as individuals vary enormously in their talents and abilities, so do the races and nations. Forcible equality is tyranny.

Dr. Faye also denounces what he calls “pathological altruism,” or the perpetual propping up of failed people and failed societies. Our rulers ignore the dysgenic effects of welfare and — even worse — tax their own people to feed Third-Worlders who long to dispossess the North. “Pathological altruism” is partly explained by what Dr. Faye calls “pathological individualism.” Because our rulers think only about the individual — and not about nation or race — they promote dysgenic policies at home and raise armies of overseas enemies who will march against their own children.

“Pathological individualism” is also behind such modern distractions as homosexual marriage. The government should not recognize unions that are by definition barren and have no role in perpetuating society. As Napoleon explained, concubines take no notice of the law and the law takes no notice of them. Dr. Faye thinks homosexuality should likewise be a private matter, of no interest to the public or the state.

Homosexual marriage, however, is typical of the interests of Western governments because our rulers are incapable of grasping the questions that really matter. In Dr. Faye’s view, Western democracy is so cut off from reality, so amputated that he calls it “democtomy.” Only “pseudo dissent” is permitted, and Europeans prefer to ban political parties that actually challenge orthodoxy. In France, for example, the authorities call Jean-Marie Le Pen’s National Front “intolerant” because they want to ban it.

Dr. Faye argues that one of the goals of modern society is “to abolish thought in favor of spectacle” by promoting such things as professional sports. He can think of nothing more idiotic than paying money to watch people play games, and believes it is perverse to build up passionate attachments to outcomes that haven’t the slightest meaning or importance. Tennis champions or soccer players are nothing but performers, and their position in society should be no different from that of circus acrobats. Video games likewise clog the brain and prevent thought, which pleases our rulers because thought is dangerous. Dr. Faye also decries the disintegration of the family, the decline of education, and the replacement of culture with audio-visual pap.

Only radical, revolutionary acts, writes Dr. Faye, can destroy modernity. Unfortunately, Europeans are so domesticated they will never abolish egalitarianism and build a vigorous, self-conscious Europe. Instead, their infantilized world will be pulled down around them by “convergent catastrophes” that Dr. Faye predicted (writing in 1998) would strike between the years 2010 and 2020.

    Disaster upon disaster

Among these, of course, are colonization by the South, which will lead to the collapse of multi-racial societies (which only whites have encouraged to take root in their midst). As Christianity continues to disintegrate in the face of Islam, Europe will face the prospect of “imperial theocratic totalitarianism.” At the same time, the West will be saddled with millions of old people with only a few young workers — or hostile Third-World immigrants — to support them.

The South is creating disasters of its own as non-whites try to mimic whites. Any Third-World attempt at democracy, for example, “leads to tragic consequences because of intellectual incompatibilities when it is forcefully imposed upon the cultures of the South.” Africans, for example, have lost their traditional societies and are incapable of replacing them with anything that is not squalid and cruel.

Dr. Faye laughs at anyone who thinks science will save us. He predicts plagues of drug-resistant diseases and, most catastrophically, exhaustion of the planet. The earth will run out of energy, he writes, adding that the notion that people would constantly get richer was a delusional spasm that lasted only 100 years. Dr. Faye roundly dismisses the fantasy of 7 billion people, all living like 20th-century Americans.

Cascading catastrophes will mean financial panic, global recession, plummeting world GNP, race war, and mass die offs. Europeans who survive will live by different principles: the principles of archeofuturism. Dr. Faye believes that what emerges from the rubble is the society Europeans would build deliberately if they were sane, but it will instead be forced on them by catastrophes of their own making. He hopes his book will guide the thinking of those who survive to lay the foundations.

    Archaic, not conservative

After the crash, “most of humanity would revert to a pre-technological subsistence economy based on agriculture and the crafts.” An overexploited earth will permit no higher level of material existence. How will society be ordered? Dr. Faye rejects “conservatism,” or nostalgia for an older order: “We should avoid being backward-looking, concerned with restoration and reaction, for it is the last few centuries that have spawned the pox that is now devouring us.” Instead, he predicts the emergence of “archaic” values, that is to say, “answers that stretch back into the mists of time.”

People will live in hierarchical, inegalitarian communities that bind members to a common destiny. Atomized individualism will be impossible because there will be no government handouts, and people will depend on each other for survival. There will be distinct castes, in which the warrior caste will have great prestige. Duties will come before rights, infractions will be severely punished, sex roles will be clearly defined, and marriages will be unions of entire families rather than contracts between individuals. Dr. Faye conceives governance as something like that of the Germanic tribes, or Athens of the fourth century BC.

Unlike today’s system, which falsely promises that anyone can be “a scientist or a prince” — and which only causes envy and resentment — hierarchy will be ingrained but accepted. Free of “individualistic hubris,” even the humble will take pride in their limited contribution.

Dr. Faye insists that these societies will not be inferior to our own; just different. Dr. Faye imagines mystic initiations, rites of passage, and fervent forms of religion in what he calls “the new Middle Ages.” He sees most people as poorer but much more attached to their communities, and happier than people of today.

Not all people will live this way, however. Advanced technology will not have completely disappeared. A small elite will enjoy its benefits, and will live in material abundance. Just what the relations between the elite and the masses will be, Dr. Faye does not make clear, but he seems to think the elite will run things kindly through an aristocracy that renews itself through talent rather than heredity. The masses, in turn, will be satisfied with their lot, barely conscious of the gilded lives led by their betters.

The elites will, in fact, live in a world of “hyperscience” — the futurism of archeofuturism — unfettered by today’s “pseudo-ethical obstacles.” Nuclear power will proliferate, and Dr. Faye believes genetic science will unleash dramatic eugenic breakthroughs. He even imagines useful crossbreeds between humans and animals, and cloned organ banks. None of this will be available to the unscientific masses, so the gaps between the two worlds will grow ever larger.

    A new world order

Dr. Faye’s prescriptions for Europe are part of his post-catastrophe scenario, but could conceivably come about without a world-wide crash. He predicts the establishment of Eurosiberia or the United States of Europe, which would be home to the “folk whose natural and historical territory — whose fortress, I would say — extends from Brest to the Bering Strait.” He believes that in the face of Islam and Third-World immigration, whites are uniting within their common homeland and around their common culture, just as the Greeks did when the Persians invaded. He does not expect Eurosiberia to be entirely exclusive, however: “We can accommodate guests, but not invaders.”

Like many thinkers on the European right, Dr. Faye thinks the nation state is finished. Europeans will have deeper attachments to regions, which will have great autonomy in matters of culture, education, and language. In the meantime, he urges support for the European Union. Dr. Faye recognizes that this is a risky strategy, given the stifling, aggressively egalitarian nature of EU institutions. He nevertheless thinks they will become the framework of his beloved Eurosiberia when the collapse shatters egalitarianism and the belief in miracles on which it depends.

Eurosiberia will be just one of perhaps four or five autarkic blocs that Dr. Faye predicts will emerge. All will be racially more or less homogeneous, with the possible exception of the North American Union. Dr. Faye seems to believe that if anyone can make a success of multi-racialism, it is the Americans, but he is not sanguine about that either. The blocs — all with a large pre-technological populations and small elites — will not have much contact with each other, and there will certainly be no foreign aid.

    Always entertaining

Clearly, Dr. Faye does not hesitate to make bold predictions, and his speculations are always entertaining. Whether anything he predicts will actually happen is anyone’s guess, but he is unquestionably right about two things: the central role race will play and the impotence of today’s Western ideologies. Whether one accepts his conception of archaism or not, there is no doubt that Islam and the Third World have the spirit of conquest and absolutism that once characterized Christianity and the West. Muslims are famously willing to die for their faith, and non-whites are famously ready to riot for whatever they want. Whites are famously willing to make endless concessions in the name of “human rights” to people who have nothing but contempt for anyone else’s “human rights.” As the game is played today, it is an abysmally unequal contest.

Let us hope it will not take “convergent catastrophes” to jolt whites out of their suicidal softness, but if it does, let the catastrophes come soon. The longer that day is put off, the larger the Third-World “fifth column” will grow, and the more desperate will be the struggle for European survival.

Nice post! The one paragraph I had trouble with was this one:

The elites will, in fact, live in a world of “hyperscience” — the futurism of archeofuturism — unfettered by today’s “pseudo-ethical obstacles.” Nuclear power will proliferate, and Dr. Faye believes genetic science will unleash dramatic eugenic breakthroughs. He even imagines useful crossbreeds between humans and animals, and cloned organ banks. None of this will be available to the unscientific masses, so the gaps between the two worlds will grow ever larger.

I suppose such a thing could go on for a time, but the scientific advances of the 20th century (ESPECIALLY nuclear power) were all directly related to an abundance of cheap energy and the development of industrial processes and infrastructure that it enabled. Hard to imagine any of that continuing long into the future (100-200 years, or more likely far less) absent at least a truly catastrophic population crash on the order of 70-90% in the next 10-20 years or so to totally reset industrialism to semi-sustainable levels, and all that’s assuming facts not in evidence that global climate change can even be slowed down at this late date as well.

But I think he was pretty much spot on with the rest of it. I think most of the disasters he foresees here are either already being played out or are pretty much locked in now.

But to add, I think he’s probably right that some sort of aristocracy will emerge, although it’ll almost certainly be a whole lot less aristocratic (never mind despotic) than what we have currently, and that absent the rampant materialism we have today, most of the common people will grant them this privilege without complaint and mostly ignore them altogether.

In short, enough people in the west have now glimpsed at where modernity is taking them and have turned away in horror that transitioning back to a much slower, community-based lifestyle again is not likely to be the life threatening, existential challenge that many of us have imagined it will be. World made by hand, indeed!

Y’know, 21st-century people tend to think of the combination of science with Enlightenment values as a package – to have one, you must have the other, and vice versa. Fever dreams like this one make it clear, though, that it’s just not true. Barbaric motives never really go away; we either overcome them, or let them overcome us. Dr. Faye presents one vision of the latter.

And what a vision. I mean, he posits a society where most of the population are kept in such dim downtrodden ignorant helplessness that not only will they have no choice but to allow their… uh, he calls them “betters”… to create fucking human/animal hybrids from their genetic material, but are actually deluded into “taking pride in [this] limited contribution”. I mean, what the actual fuck?

One important question is whether a society with these barbaric values could ever invent the kind of science and technology necessary to enable Faye’s lunatic vision. Is a society like that supposed to be able to sustain a scientific and technological apparatus? Like, seriously? No, Faye takes for granted the already-existing science and technology of our own time, which is unavoidably a product of the Enlightenment with its values of free thought, free inquiry, free enterprise and all the rest. He aspires to take it over and apply it to enacting maximum privilege upwards, maximum servility downwards. Science and technologies are levers of power, so in a totalitarian society where most people are kept as ignorant as possible, real understanding would need to be limited to a technological priesthood, who for some reason would use it for the benefit of an absurdly privileged leadership caste instead of their own benefit. What’s more, these priests are supposed to be able to realize the benefits of science and technology while lacking the foundation of a free society that actually makes them possible — i.e., by some kind of magic. The actual result is likely to be a grimly entertaining spectacle of cruelty and folly.

        Human/animal hybrids… My word. – Elrond

        ===========

You shouldn’t be in such a state of disbelief, Elrond. Who is the dude (I forget his name) who shows up here every couple of months or so harping on his one and only concern in life: that science is going to figure out how to impregnate men.

Doubly ironic then, don’t ya think, since “that kind of society” already exists, and indeed, was necessary to even imagine such a scenario in the first place.

Once you raise the lid on genetics there IS NO limit to the possibilities, especially when you throw in the prospect of profitability.

    The Wizard of Oz

I read this book as a child, as the book of Yuri Volkov “The Wizard of Emerald City”, but for me it remained a children’s fairy tale, but for Americans it is a political satire, and during all that time it has acquired a new urgency and got enriched with new associations with the Great Depression, Roosevelt’s reforms and the Federal Reserve – the road on which Dorothy with her friends goes to the Emerald City is the Bretton Woods agreements, the yellow bricks in the road associate with you know what, a rusty Tin Woodman is the US industry and the brainless Scarecrow before brains were handed to him is the Midwest farmers.

And the emerald city is the US, and the green glasses, which are locked in the place, so that people can not take them off, it’s the media, in particular CNN.

But the Wizard himself is either Bill Clinton, or Kennedy, I did not get it.

I wonder Air Force of which country is associated with the flying monkeys?

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_interpretations_of_The_Wonderful_Wizard_of_Oz

“Political interpretations of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz include treatments of the modern fairy tale (written by L. Frank Baum and first published in 1900) as an allegory or metaphor for the political, economic, and social events of America in the 1890s. Scholars have examined four quite different versions of Oz: the novel of 1900,[1] the Broadway play of 1901,[2] the Hollywood film of 1939,[3] and the numerous follow-up Oz novels written after 1900 by Baum and others.[4]
The political interpretations focus on the first three, and emphasize the close relationship between the visual images and the story line to the political interests of the day. Biographers report that Baum had been a political activist in the 1890s with a special interest in the money question of gold and silver, and the illustrator Denslow was a full-time editorial cartoonist for a major daily newspaper. For the 1901 Broadway production Baum inserted explicit references to prominent political characters such as President Theodore Roosevelt.”

The ruby slippers were originally silver. This had to be changed because the connotation was too obvious.

        • FincaInTheMountains May 10, 2017 at 4:41 pm #

Dorothy’s silver shoes – the so-called “silver proportion”, according to which 16 ounces of silver strictly equivalent to one ounce of gold, which made it possible to connect the reserves of silver to the process of formation of money.

        • FincaInTheMountains May 10, 2017 at 4:45 pm #

And I must say that the abolition of the “silver proportion” has indeed become the road of yellow bricks leading to the omnipotence of green paper, serving as the green glasses with locks that were in voluntary-compulsory way issued to citizens of the Emerald City (and the rest of the world).

          • messianicdruid May 10, 2017 at 4:53 pm #

If everyone with even 50 bucks to spare would convert it to silver it would be just like Dorothy clicking her heels.

Is there any depth of horror to which American Women will not sink?

The dumb whore thought the world would applaud her killing a dog. But instead it hounded her to death. She couldn’t live without the likes. She probably could have been a good woman if the world had “liked” her in that direction instead. Damn you. You are responsible for both of these deaths.

Note: Thot is taken from Black English and means “that hoe over there”. Who says we’re racist? We’re open to anything from anyone that serves our purpose and ONLY our purpose. Likewise, Mr Kunstler is wildly popular on the Far and Alt Right.

The answer? White Shariah. Look at the whole Amish fantasy genre in popular books for women. They want to become prisoner’s of men’s dreams again.

Part Two: Daughter takes a black guy to the prom.

Part Three: Janos not only cuts her off financially, but texts her an irreversibly abusive rant spiked with numerous F-bombs and N-bombs.

Part Four: Daughter posts Janos’ vitriol on social media and virtue signals to the world how wonderful she is and how horrible her racist father is.

The US dollar will more then likely dematerialize into dark matter. JHK might have mentioned the quadrillion or so derivatives ‘market’ black hole which in all probability will jump start the free fall into the abyss. Americans have the expirience to make it happen. On 911 two 100 million ton buildings and one 50 million ton building turned into dust. Not even a toilet bowl remained. Four 80 thousand ton airplanes complete with passengers vanished using the transporter from Star Trek. The trifecta was complete when one billion or so of gold bullion in basement vaults was teleported elsewhere, never to be seen again.

Actually there were Trillions of dollars missing but it really wasn’t the bullion. A nice guesstimate anyways. Some of the financial companies sent Trillions of dollars via digital transfer to God only knows where on or about the time of the attacks. Evidently the ill gotten gains were received and the mastermind grand laceny was totally hidden because the source computers turned into nano particles. The gold meanwile retained its molecular structure untouched in multiple basement vaults that remained in pristine condition. I didn’t want to mention the Trillions heist since almost nobody knows of that particular fiasco and unwelcomed denegration would follow. James Corbett did a very fine analysis of this unknown mother of all thefts in the link ‘Follow the Money’.. I’m including another link to Corbetts satire of the 911 discombobulation that went viral.

    About the oil prices

What is masochism? Put your finger on the concrete slab and hit the finger with a hammer. You get high when you miss.

The funny thing is that the US, when reducing oil prices, is clearly playing with BDSM.

Indeed, the very existence of petrodollars suggests that it is oil that is not only a commodity, but also the equivalent of the dollar, somehow tying the printing press to the objective reality given to us in sensations.

Once they managed to collapse the economy of the USSR by manipulating oil prices, but then it was done against the background of the “reaganomics” effect, when the discount rate sometimes exceeded 20%, and now, when the discount rate is in fact negative, the decline in oil prices for the United States seems like sending an addict to the uncontrolled flight from the roof of a skyscraper – the high is certainly great, but what will happen when you meet with the earth?

Suffice it to recall that, sooner or later, all other prices are linked to oil prices, which in this situation are called deflation, and the recent global economic crisis is primarily a crisis of deflation, the worst enemy of capitalism.

But the most important thing is that in proportion to the fall in oil prices (and prices overall), the US debt grows in physical terms. And its maintenance in physical terms also grows proportionally!!!

Now the world economic system holds thanks to the dams built by Obama on the path of dollar flows from one sector of economy to another ala multiple-contour monetary system of the USSR. (Cash-money vs non-cash vs foreign currency exchange).

But these dams hold up until the first real crisis of the limits of borrowing in the US, and after that….

    • DA May 11, 2017 at 8:28 am #

Relax! The goal is to collapse it all eventually anyway and replace it with a global – all electronic – currency for select members only. Resistance will be futile and non-discretionary as will your electronic “money” be while in their hands. The choices will be stark, if they’re allowed at all. Play ball 100% or attempt to go it alone with small merry bands of your fellow brothers and sisters, should they choose to allow it. At least until the cheap energy runs out.

The crisis of the scientific method (fake news)

California bums had a fight over the quantum physics

Two homeless people fought in San Francisco, arguing about quantum physics, and now the instigator of the fight is put on trial.

The San Mateo County Court began hearing the case against the 40-year-old homeless Jason Keller, accused of aggravated assault and battery. The fight between Keller and the other homeless Stefan Favoy occurred on 19th Avenue in San Francisco. According to public records, Stefan Favoy was discussing with his acquaintances (“other homeless people whose names are not disclosed)” quantum physics and atom splitting.

Jason Keller joined the discussion and, as noted in the case materials, “for unknown reasons, got upset.” Keller grabbed a skateboard and hit Favoy in the face, smashing his lip. Later Stefan Favoy fell and broke his ankle. As noted by SFGate, the state prosecutor said in the process that Keller has nothing to do with the fracture.

Other details of the process are not reported.

Scientists have “faith” in the rational intelegibility of the universe and the regularity of its laws…

Scientists have “faith” that their minds which are the result of a random, purposeless, unguided, “mindless” process; can somehow, nevertheless, reveal what is true about ourselves and the world?

Ilargi: Comey and the End of Conversation

    http://www.nakedcapitalism.com/2017/05/ilargi-comey-end-conversation.html

If anything in the future is revealed about a possible -political- connection between Trump and Russia, it will be gravely tainted by the fact that so much opinion posing as news, and so much news that was not real news, has been published about that possible connection already over the past year and change, without any evidence. The WaPo’s and HuffPo’s of the world will not even be vindicated by such a potential revelation anymore, because they lowered their journalistic levels to match those of the National Enquirer.

But even writing down something as neutral as that last paragraph is prone to lead to demonization from all kinds of ‘sources’. The Russian hack story has embedded itself so profoundly in certain corners of American and European society that it can no longer be denied or even questioned without being interpreted as suspect, if not an outright admission of guilt. All you need to know is there once was PropOrNot and its list of alleged 200 Russian propaganda sites.

It doesn’t matter how often Putin and Foreign Minister Lavrov and spokeswoman Maria Zakharova ask for proof of the accusations, because for a large and influential segment of western mainstream media that is a phase that has long since been passed. There is such an all-encompassing conviction that Russia hacked and otherwise influenced western elections that no proof is deemed necessary.

Or rather, the idea has taken on such a life of its own that things are taken to have been proven that never were. “News’, just like advertizing, has to a large extent become based on the concept of relentless repetition. Say something often enough and people will believe it, certainly when it confirms what they were looking to have confirmed to begin with. If the echo chambers fit enough lost souls, before you know it nobody asks for proof anymore.

It’s not about whether Trump is or has ever been guilty of anything he’s accused of, it’s that the insinuating narratives about that have long been written and repeated ad nauseam. It’s about whether the witch hunt exemplified by PropOrNot makes objective news gathering impossible. And the only possible response to that question must be affirmative. If only because you can’t tell one type of ‘news’ from the other anymore.

The MSM have focused on getting Hillary elected, and they failed miserably. So did she, of course, it wasn’t just them. A failure they attempt to hide from view behind a veil of never-ending anti-Russian stories that even now they still can’t prove. Which is where the FBI comes in. Sure, some of it may yet prove to be true, but even if that is so, that’s in the future, not today.

Does Trump deserve being resisted? It certainly looks that way much of the time. But he should be resisted with facts, not innuendo of yellow paper quality. That destroys the media, and the media are needed to maintain a democracy. That is both their task and their responsibility. They exist to inform people, but have instead turned into opinion-fabricating machines. Both because that expresses the opinions of their ownership, and because it’s commercially more attractive.”

Listen janet, I’m TIRED of you besmirching pussy grabbers! Personally, I’ve always found pussies hard to “grab” per se, as opposed to penises/dicks, which are external; so I’ve always found the whole description rather awkward, which I took to mean that Trump was either drunk or a little overly “exuberant” when he said it, which in my experience at least, males of the human species are prone to be from time to time.

Of course we all here know that you’re only slinging that word around here recklessly like you are long after the fact because you heard it from your beloved MSM, perhaps from Rachel Maddow, with whom you’ve long since dreampt of sharing intimate caresses to while away a long hot summer’s afternoon.

Perhaps, if I might be so bold, you might avail yourself of some more “butch” company, for a time at least, to at least temporarily satiate your quite understandable desire for a more “physical” relationship. With the advent of modern sexual appliances, I’m told that males are not only no longer necessary for procreation, but INDEED, can even be IMPROVED UPON GREATLY for female sexual pleasure!

DA, I know what you mean by “global”.

I’ve said it myself, various components of the Deep State refuse to accept behavioral norms and fetters on their freedom to act but especially the monied component that refuses limitations imposed by nationhood and national laws, you know, mundane things like taxation and international boundaries.

There’s a practical aspect involving money because if the Oligarchs aren’t about money they’re about nothing. Oligarchs want a borderless world the better to exploit low wage labor ie if you can’t move factories to a slave wage despotism, you move the slaves here.

Even if Oligarchs want nothing to impinge on their OWN freedom of action, there will be laws. But laws are for the little people like us who would have legal leg-irons for sure. I mean, SOMEBODY has to pay taxes.

Having said that, there’s a school of thought that the Deep State isn’t a monolith. Inside it there’s a level of consensus for sure. But there’s also contending factions.

And then there’s the military that has nationhood as its basis. Why do young men volunteer to risk life and limb? In the USA it’s for for Old Glory, not for the Davos set. You need boots on the ground so what would the military be without those young men?

But the most important division is that of multiple power centers in the world all of which have their own Oligarchs and Deep State, all ambitious and power-hungry. Narcissistic billionaire megalomaniacs aren’t just an American phenomenon. The same goes for dangerous psychopaths, whether it’s bemedalled generals or paranoid spymasters, making careers in power centers of their own in foreign national intelligence agencies and militaries.

Russian Deep Staters have got their own agendas. So do the Chinese who would just as soon eat their caucasian counterparts as get in bed with them. They don’t want to be told what they can and can’t do, especially by Americans. Both Chinese and Russian Oligarchs and Deep States have got nuclear-armed militaries to back them up.

These are just two examples. There’s other, less powerful centers, but nonetheless nuclear armed. Like India and, IMO the most dangerous place on the planet, Pakistan.

And, stay tuned, Iran, an age-old imperial power and oil rich place with its own alliance of mullahs and military and money. Give it five or ten years and they’ll be unveiling their own nuke.

      Vol,

Keep your “eyes on the prize.”

The term “Deep State” has already become polluted and is virtually worthless. If there was any doubt, the fact that the US MSM has embraced it was the final clue. The term “Deep State” has now itself become a diversion, a “head fake,” and a wrong turn for anyone pursuing actual truth.

Ultimately, there is only ONE “Deep State;” and it is GLOBAL, it is discrete, and it remains, HERE TO STAY. As such, it’s relatively impervious to the relative trends and opinions of the day. INDEED, it SHAPES them!

The money game was adopted early on for what now seems as obvious reasons. Control the means of commerce and you control commerce itself. So easy to understand in retrospect, so HARD to understand up front.

But credit where credit was due, the American (aligned) globalists were the first to recognize where this was all going in the mid-20th century, and then placed all their bets behind the emergent power of the United States, which emerged from WWII as the unquestioned “Super Power” in the wake of the devastation of WWII. Once again, easy as hell to see in retrospect, probably not so easy to see AT ALL at the time.

For now, what are we to make of all of this? Good question, but rest assured, no one commenting on this board truly knows for sure. Are Russian/[fill in the nationality here] oligarchs also part of the globalist’s plan, and if so who, and for how much? Indeed, does the globalist “deep state” even HAVE a coherent plan past a certain point of nationalist devastation/usurpation, or are they winging it TOO?

Welcome to the BRAVE NEW WORLD my friend!

    Byzantium, New Rome, Constantinople

May 11, 330 there was an official solemn ceremony of consecration of the new capital of the Roman Empire of Constantinople – the New (Second) Rome. Sanctifying the city under the name Nova Roma, the emperor thus counterposed the new capital of his Empire to pagan Rome. In Byzantium this date was celebrated as a state and a church holiday.

And for Russia this day has special significance, both in spiritual and in secular sense, since it is the day of the founding of the Second Rome, and Moscow is the Third Rome and with the Second Rome it has a purely spiritual connection through Orthodox Christianity.

Even the marriage of Sophia Paleologue to Grand Prince Ivan III of Moscow was concluded from religious considerations, not secular. But the connection of the Second Rome with the First is purely secular because the state was one and the same.

And if you remember that Isaac Newton prophesied on this subject in his commentaries to the book of Daniel, it is generally frightening, since it was these prophecies that played a big role in the decision of Lord Palmerston to start the Crimean War in 1853, which actually became the root cause of two world wars.

And it is unconvincing, since Isaac Newton in England at some point was not only proclaimed a prophet, but also a god. Yes, there was the Church of Isaac Newton, which was designed by the author of the monument to the famous Poussin painting in Shugborough Hall which spawned the modern architecture.

Trump failed to stop the FBI investigation into his collusion with Russia to become an illegitimate president. The FBI is pissed at being dissed because they are pro-America, pro-Constitution. They didn’t like Trump trying to shut down the investigation into his subversion of the presidential election.

The people who have seen the classified info cannot say what it is, but Republican, Democrat, and Independent alike say the investigation must continue. The FBI will get to the Truth of Trump’s crimes.

The acting FBI director, Andrew McCabe, calling the investigation “highly significant” contradicts what deputy White House press secretary said yesterday during the press briefing. “The FBI is doing a whole lot more than the Russia investigation,” she said.

Article of Impeachment against Richard M. Nixon:

    4. interfering or endeavouring to interfere with the conduct of investigations by the Department of Justice of the United States, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the office of Watergate Special Prosecution Force, and Congressional Committees

DA, re your comment on the role of money.

You’re correct about money as an abstraction. It’s an old concept, it’s origins lost in antiquity, useful for sure but really just a legal contrivance.

Given its age and ubiquity and embedded-ness in daily life, the assumptions surrounding it are taken for granted, their basis unexamined, sort of like the foundations of an old house or the water main under the street.

But, no matter, nobody loves money like the Oligarch. Money, and who has more and who has less, is what gets them out of bed. There’s never enough. But they make some critical mistakes in their thinking.

They equate money with power. As their business in China has been demonstrating, money is not power. Western executives in their offices in Shanghai, learn this when they disregard directives from Beijing. Foreigners, so full of themselves and their dollars, find that none of it matters when a platoon of armed police hustle them off to jail. They find that, in China, men commanding soldiers and police are the ones with power. They learn that you do what you’re told by the Chinese in charge, that ownership changes with the stroke of an official pen, that due process and rule of law do not apply, that rights guaranteed by the US constitution and bill of rights have no reach.

Oligarchs also confuse money with wealth. If money is not power then, as you imply, neither is money wealth, any more than a pizza coupon for a free pizza (if you buy two or more), is a pizza. Both are inky bits of paper subject to acceptance. No acceptance, no pizza.

Right now Oligarchs and the Deep State are in control. But as the rise of Trump and the Brexit vote showed, events can slip their grasp. So we’ll see if they morph and become more virulent as you say, and over-react and over-step. In the end, after all, they are outnumbered and can only rule with the acquiescence of the ruled. European aristocracy found this out, so did the Ottomans, so did the Communists in eastern Europe.

If the soldier boys rebel, if popular delusions dissolve, the game is over and change is afoot.

Finca, in the post-war period the PTB in the US could not abide the thought of Communist Russian rule of Europe. That was the basic reason for the Cold War.

In their view, Russia would have run a Eurasian land-mass from Vladivostok to the English Channel, a massive territory with huge stores of natural resources (in the USSR) and man-power (in Europe).

Whether the Russians had the know-how to administer such a multi-ethnic and multi-national empire is in the realm of counter-factual history. We’ll never know.

And, as you know, there was some disputation back then about the relationship of the citizen to the state. Mostly it took the form of Fascism vs Communism with Germany and the USSR as the main event. Once that contest was decided, it was the USSR vs the US as the contending parties with the issues under discussion much the same.

And there was also the wee issue of who wields power and influence outside their main territorial boundaries. IOW who gets to be the hegemon.

Did the US have any real interests in Vietnam? Not that I could see. What about Korea? Neither there. Both were mill-stones that should have been handed over to the Communists gleefully and wrapped in a bow for the purpose of over-stretching their scarce military and economic assets.

But noooooooo, as usual, the tall foreheads couldn’t see the obvious.

    Russians are coming!

With this cry, US Secretary of Defense James Forrestal jumped out of the window to his death.

He developed paranoia on the basis of an unclean conscience related to his participation in the pro-Nazi coup of Vice-President Truman, and it is very possible that when he shouted “the Russians are coming!” in his mind he saw the Roosevelt’s supporters who came to arrest him for complicity in the murder of the President, who was really very good to Russia and the Russians, but especially to the leader of historic Russia at that time, Joseph Stalin.

In addition, he could see the fighters of the Israeli militia Irgun, who really wanted to kill him, for the fact that he had an attitude toward Jews similar to that of Hitler, and to Israel that of Gamal Abdel Nasser.

And he wanted to destroy Israel even then, surrendering it to the Arabs ala “the Oslo Accords,” the copyrights to which were later appropriated by the First Lady Hillary Clinton.

I just found this in Wikipedia in the article “Forrestal” and this explains a lot, in particular the fact that at that time in America the adjective “Russian” meant both “Red” and “Jewish” at the same time, and further study of Russian Wikipedia showed that The Irgun article was written in such a way that for ten percent of what is written there in my youth I used to knock out a couple of teeth at once better than an experienced dentist, without entering into further discussions of the Jewish question.

Do you also share Trump’s penchant for golden showers with prostitutes? Putin has it on tape… which explains why Trump invited the Russian press in, but kept the American press out, to a recent meeting with Russians.

The Christopher Steele dossier documents Trump’s sexual perversions. Steele had a Source E who told him that some Ritz Carlton staff were aware of the Trump/Golden Shower story at the time. Source E introduced a Russian intelligence operative to Source F, a female employee at the hotel. Source F also corroborated the story.

Finally Source B, who was a former high level Russian intelligence office still active in the Kremlin’s inner circles, confirmed that the government had collected enough material on Trump during his visits that they could blackmail him. Specifically, Trump had engaged in questionable sexual activity that was “arranged/monitored” by the FSB.

Christopher Steele is a former MI6 officer who worked under diplomatic cover in Moscow and headed the Russia Desk from 2004 to 2009. He has an excellent reputation in the intelligence community. He clearly has sources and he knows how to write intelligence reports. The dossier was never a fake.

      Yep.

Black politicians need to learn how to steal money the way white politicians do it. Too many times black politicians see white politicians “taking” money and think they can do it too.

Some black politicians claim the reason they are caught stealing so often is because they are being scrutinized by law enforcement?

This is probably true; but its also quite necessary because black politicians often lack the sophistication to understand WHY they should not steal ALL of the money, or steal in a way that requires law enforcement to step in and remind the thieves they can’t look like thieves…

Bribes, kickbacks and theft are a necessary “lubricant” of politics; but if you don’t know how to do it like a white man, you should not attempt it on your own.

      Just sayin

    2008

The European Union, which always disliked Bush, who defended the priority of US national interests before the interests of NATO and the so-called global West, entered into an anti-Bush conspiracy with Clintonoids, to which Condoleezza Rice and a number of other figures in the Bush administration have apparently joined.

This was due to the fact that the European Union, contrary to popular belief, hates and fears Russia more than the US, and the Bush policy led to $140 per barrel, as a result of which Russia finally broke free of debt bondage and, by creating stabilization and other funds, very vigorously began to form its own, independent of the West, banking system.

Suffice to say that by 2008, the Russian government’s debt fell to 50 billion, and gold and foreign exchange reserves increased to $750 billion. Neo-colonization of Russia kicked the proverbial bucket, and after the visit to Brussels in September 2006 of Ukrainian Prime Minister Yanukovych, Ukraine’s membership in NATO kicked the bucket as well.

In general, the European Union had to start thinking not about the Energy Charter and Human Rights, but about facing the responsibility for the results of its civilizing policy in the post-Soviet space and the Balkans. From this perspective, you’ll start kissing not only with Condoleezza Rice, but with Osama bin Laden and Russian Nazis.

Actually, the European Union has nobody to join in the union with since they in the 90s shit their relationship with everyone, and, unlike the States, did it stealthily.

Evidently leaked information about the approach of the Georgian war gave rise to uncertainty in the end result of this adventure among a number of investors, much more realistic in their assessments, compared with regular analysts and propagandists.

Investors knew perfectly well that the real estate market is overheated, that the mortgage in the US is financed by Japanese money, issued at 1-2% with the help of carry-trades, insured by FOREX options with a huge shoulder.

This made these investments extremely sensitive to the political intrigues, which seemed to have nothing to do with the mortgage. In this situation, any destabilizing factor can lead to catastrophic consequences due to a loss of confidence in financial and political institutions. A simple psychological effect called “where is thin, there is torn” has worked – general uncertainty in the political situation forced investors to withdraw money from the most risky, politically motivated investments.

Now it is certainly ridiculous to read economists’ explanations that sub-prime mortgage lending was unnecessarily risky – this money simply had nowhere to go, and if they had not been given out as mortgages to anybody who wanted them in the early 2000s, the financial system would be destabilized with unpredictable consequences already in 2001-2003.

What happened further is well known – the subprime crisis created a banking crisis in England, which was successfully stopped by the decisive actions of the government.

But someone as if deliberately splashed gasoline into the fire, refusing to support the bank “Lehman Brothers”, as a result of which the achievements of Bush were thrown into the trash, and a torch with the Olympic flame ended up in the hands of Saakashvili during the war of 08.08.08.

He promised to do all those things ON THE FIRST DAY in office and he has done none of them after 100 days in office.

His firing of Comey (to defend Hillary’s honor) was a strategic blunder for which Trump will pay dearly. He now has the FBI on his case in a more determined fashion than before the Comey firing. The FBI will win. Trump will lose, just like Johnson and Nixon lost and were forced out of office, because Trump has more crimes to account for and is engaging in more cover up.

Trump tries to distract from his criminal history. But even the “mother of all bombs” cannot obliterate the accumulating body of evidence about his relationship with Russian organized crime figures and the not unrelated question about Trump’s collusion with Russian officials in the 2016 presidential election.

A lot of this Russian organized crime money flowed through Cyprus and one of its largest banks, the Bank of Cyprus. The bank’s chairman, Wilbur Ross, is now Trump’s secretary of commerce. When senators considering Ross’ nomination asked about Cyprus, Ross said Trump had forbidden him from answering questions on the subject.

The cover up is widespread, but the firings of everyone who was investigating Trump’s crimes (Yates, Bharara, Comey, etc.) will not stop Trump from being investigated, impeached, and tried for either the crimes, the cover up, or both.

You are supporting a loser, fodase.

“next atrocity on US soil is on your side’s hands.” –fodase

I am not the commander-in-chief of the armed forces. I did not write illegal unconstitutional “executive orders” that got swatted down by court after court.

The person who is responsible is Trump, and you support him, so the next atrocity on US soil is on your hands. At least Obama kept us safe for eight years, despite Cheney’s treasonous comments.

The 9/11 atrocity (more than 1,000 deaths) happened on Bush’s watch, and no large scale attack like that happened during Obama’s eight years. But then Obama was competent as a leader and as a commander-in-chief, which is why 3,000 Americans did not die on American soil under Obama’s watch.

Trump got some ‘splainin’ to do about his Russian business interests. The president said he fired Comey because he wanted to make the Russian investigation go away. That is not going to happen. Trump has only fanned the flames with firing Director Comey because the president is not entitled to stop an investigation. That is obstruction of justice. Sally Yates gave a very clear warning and she was fired. Bharara was investigating Trump’s business crimes and he was fired. Now some people have had enough of Trump’s impulsive and illegal actions.

Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Oregon, the ranking member on the Senate Finance Committee, announced a hold on the nomination of Sigal Mandelker to the position of Under Secretary of the Treasury for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence on Thursday.

Wyden said the hold will stay in place until the Treasury Department provides “any information that relates to financial connections between Russia and President Trump and his associates,” to the Senate Intelligence Committee and Senate Finance Committee. Wyden is on both committees.

“I have stated repeatedly that we have to follow the money if we are going to get to the bottom of how Russia has attacked our democracy,” Wyden said in a statement.

Wyden’s hold would effectively put a halt on Mandelker’s nomination process. However, holds expire at the end of a Congress.

    Trump strikes back!

The Trump administration is clearly going on a counterattack and will hammer the Media space with scandals related to the activities of the previous administration, which obviously has enough skeletons in the closet.

The firing of the FBI director is only a preparatory stage, but the news about the creation of a special commission to investigate violations in the presidential elections is a very strong move.

The fact is that Trump’s special commission will investigate the violations in favor of Hillary Clinton. Immediately after the election Trump argued that there were serious violations, but then chose to “forget” about this topic. Now he returns back to it again.

According to his estimates, Hillary Clinton received several million fraudulent votes.

Trump as a businessman had projects developed in the atmosphere of tough conflicts between shareholders, investors and managers. Due to his specific biography, the new American leader has a colossal experience of intrigue, secret negotiations and effective resistance to stronger opponents, who many times tried to “squeeze” him out of particularly lucrative enterprises.

Director Comey dismissal has finished off American journalism

No matter what you lie – it still will be a hint at the truth. Anyone who remembers what the American media said a week ago is a Russian spy.
