At a most troubled moment in history, both major political parties appear set to nominate time-bomb candidates for president with a fair percentage chance of blowing up their own campaigns and the parties themselves.

We’ve been living in the era of anything goes and nothing matters — that is, the era of no consequences — but at some point between now and November 8 someone surely will press FBI chief James Comey as to why his agency issued neither a criminal referral nor an explanatory memorandum in the matter of Hillary Clinton’s private email server and its role in the money-gathering activities of the Clinton Foundation while she was Secretary of State.

Hapless Bernie Sanders blew his chance to call her on that months ago — “The American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails!” — but it’s absolutely certain that Trump will jump up and down and shout woo-woo-woo about it during the general election campaign, if he manages to not get dumped at the GOP convention. Or his as-yet-hypothetical replacement will.

The email issue won’t go away because it entails serious issues of racketeering in public office, not just niceties of security procedure. One of the Secretary of State’s duties is to approve weapons sales to foreign countries. During her three years at State, Hillary signed off on $165 billion worth of sales by private commercial arms contractors to Clinton Foundation foreign donors. On top of that was an additional $151 billion of separate Pentagon-brokered deals for 16 of the countries that gave to the Clinton Foundation. It also happened that the weapons contractors themselves and companies connected financially to them made substantial donations to the Clinton foundation — and paid whopping speaking fees to Hillary’s husband ex-president Bill, during her years at State.

Salon Magazine has also reported that in contradiction of a 1995 directive signed by then-president Bill against arms sales to nations violating human rights, Hillary approved such weapons sales. Salon’s David Sirota writes:

As just one of many examples, in its 2011 Human Rights Report, Clinton’s State Department slammed Algeria’s government for imposing “restrictions on freedom of assembly and association,” tolerating “arbitrary killing,” “widespread corruption” and a “lack of judicial independence.

That year, the Algerian government donated $500,000 to the Clinton Foundation and the next year Clinton’s State Department approved a one-year 70 percent increase in military export authorizations to the country. The jump included authorizations for almost 50,000 items classified as “toxicological agents, including chemical agents, biological agents and associated equipment.” The State Department had not authorized the export of any of such items to Algeria the year before.

There’s no way that the shady doings of the Clinton Foundation will not become a campaign issue whether Trump emerges as the eventual GOP nominee or not, and of course the other noisome matter of exactly what Hillary told Too-Big-To-Fail banks in exchange for many quarter-million dollar “speaking fees” still lurks behind all that. Hillary’s partisans at the The New York Times and The WashPo have ignored these stories for months, but the telltale stench remains, like a dead body under the floorboards.. In contrast to her beaming victory lap after the California primary, all this stuff promises some serious frowny-face for Mz. It’s-My-Turn in the months ahead.

As for Trump, the hand-wringing and Maalox-gulping among GOP nabobs got a lot more intense since the Orlando Club massacre, and the (as usual) disjointed utterances by the presumptive Republican Party nominee. This guy is not just a loose artillery shell rolling around on the deck — he’s a dirty bomb wrapped in a smallpox blanket threatening to turn the Grand Old Party into a political Flying Dutchman. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan underscored his extremely conditional endorsement of Trump on the Sunday TV chat forums, hinting that even if Trump got where he is playing by the rules, the rules can be changed at the convention.

That would set the stage for a melee both inside and outside the GOP convention in Cleveland a month from now. The tragedy of a legitimately irate populace vested in such an obviously inept champion will lead to a political explosion when the party poobahs try to maneuver him off-stage. The only worse alternative is if they actually go ahead and nominate the ham-headed sonofabitch. Either way, the Republican Party comes out as burnt toast.

Remember, too, the Black Lives Matter movement and its affiliates promised months ago to bring a disruptive presence to both conventions. Imagine how they will get on with thousands of outraged Trumpsters moiling in the streets. Add a dash of Mexican hot sauce to this farrago and you’ve got a perfect recipe for mayhem.

Mainly your sources of information that are ham headed. Trump has guile.

But I will hazard a guess that all the aging baby boomer liberals (the last generation of Western Liberal values cohort) will all say basically the same thing as you, “Oh please Papa Conservatives be the nice guy who toils stoically while we Big Momma Liberals scold you and try and keep Radical Child ‘happy’.”

    Them days is done

Mayhem has been simmering in this country fro a while – perhaps since the Rodney King thing.

Both main U.S.A. political parties brought us to this point, and will hopefully get what they deserve – dissolution.

All the pigeon entrails indicate it is going to be a very long hot and “fun” filled summer. Now we can add all the flavor of Yzlamik jihadi partiers to the mix.

And speaking of fun in instability: Britons ( if there are any of you remaining in the Britainstan) vote an enthusiastic YES for LEAVE!

To celebrate “Fathers Day” in Chicago, the natives put up some decent numbers:

      http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/ct-12-dead-at-least-41-hurt-in-weekend-shootings-20160620-story.html

This is normative behavior for the hoodies in just one city. Imagine what will happen when the EBT stops working due to a “computer” issue.

When mayhem comes, as it invariably shall, apply those figures times 100 (possibly 1000?)

Burn baby burn as they used to say in the 60’s.

      • noel bodie June 20, 2016 at 12:45 pm #

Now it’s “bern, baby bern!”. Speaking of Chicago body counts, have you seen spike Lee’s CHI-RAQ? Worth a look.

As for the topic written about by the owner of this blog, the emails are nothing, to make them so is to unravel the racketeering ball of string model that DC and the American Empire are built. The Clinton impeachment of the 90s had as much evidence and that was that, and Hillary is the proper face of the RepubliCrat uniparty.

Why they even bothered with starting an investigation is beyond me, except to guess that it was at one time it was to be the red meat to the Tea Party conservatives who still think in good government goo goo talk. I’m surprised that Paul Ryan hasn’t tried to tamp down the investigation in order to preserve uniparty unity in the face of The Donald.

    • Elrond Hubbard June 20, 2016 at 8:34 am #

In fact there is such a thing as good government. There’s also such a thing as bad government, or no government a la Somalia. The solution to both is good government, however you define that. I won’t try, but the basic symptoms include adequate roads and utilities, and a notable lack of armed bandits riding around in technicals spraying machine-gun fire.

As an observer who considers myself sympathetic, I’m endlessly amazed at the level of government corruption that Americans take for granted and assume to be normal. Congress to take one example is egregiously corrupt, co-opted and captive to basically every interest you can name that has two pennies to rub together. People complain about it endlessly and politicians make hay about the fat cats in Washington, but the really damaging thing is when people shrug their shoulders, or worse, when they openly reject the idea of trying to do better. I’m far from endorsing the Tea Party’s Samson tactics, but the counsel of despair leads to dark places.

      • newworld June 20, 2016 at 8:51 am #

The Tea Party nice white lady politics was met with the scorched Earth policy of “sexist, racist and homophobic” rhetoric. Good government goo, goo talk politics is dead, dead, dead.

Too bad, it had a quaint charm, as quaint as Baby Boomer conservatives dressing up in Colonial garb trying to impress the “diversity” with quaint old notions of whatever it was.

You nice white aging Baby Boomer liberals have brought about the politics of Omar Mateen and Afghanistan of all places and they know how to use violence for political ends.

Behind the rapidly aging and shrinking cohort of white Baby Boomer liberals are rapidly rising blocs of non-liberal tribal politics.

I will say it once, We see this, and we don’t care that MSNBC and clones say we don’t see it, we see it.

Omar the Butcher pledged FEALTY to the Caliphate, many more will pledge FEALTY to the Caliphate.

Do you people really think that nice white lady Baby Boomer liberal politics appeals to the Omars of the world?

        • Elrond Hubbard June 20, 2016 at 11:34 am #

Please don’t mistake me for a liberal, or for someone who buys into anything resembling the Washington consensus. The liberal class has sold out completely and it needs not just Bernie Sanders’ insurgency but a much bigger challenge from an organized left to match Trump’s nativist big-man appeal on the right. Career “progressives” won’t fight for real change because they would have to give up their privileges to do so. That won’t happen unless they’re forced into it.

          • Janos Skorenzy June 20, 2016 at 1:50 pm #

So you are pledging fealty to Western Civilization now – and against Islam? Or are you pledging fealty to Islam via stealth jihad? Oh, you are pledging fealty to the American People? Which people? You folks have made sure to undermine the foundations of America.

          • Elrond Hubbard June 20, 2016 at 3:56 pm #

As an atheist myself, there’s no religion that I’m in favour of, but that’s not the same as telling other people whether or not they can worship, or how. I’ll stand up for what’s right and people will bother with me or not, but in any case they’ll do what they want. The rule of law governs actions, not beliefs. If people’s religion leads them into criminal behaviour then that behaviour should be dealt with for what it is. (That goes for white supremacist shitstains like Dylann Roof, too.)

As for ISIS, they’re a criminal organization vying for big stakes: they think they can become the state, i.e. gain a monopoly of the use of force within certain recognized borders. They’ve declared that they want people everywhere to dedicate murders to their name, which is kind of like FHRITP with a body count and about as impressive as well. As they see it, it helps their cause to get their enemies divided against themselves. We don’t have to be foolish just because they’re evil.

        • Janos Skorenzy June 20, 2016 at 1:52 pm #

Matteen wasn’t propagandized by Islam but by the Internet. The telephone did it! Ban that, not Islam and not guns!

” I’ll stand up for what’s right and people will bother with me or not, but in any case they’ll do what they want.”

You and deciding (judging) what is right. That is religion; what you live-by (by-live). You have made yourself @ god (rulemaker) as have the others.

The US spends $80 billion per anum on the War on Drugs, yet school kids can buy meth or heroin on any corner–the power elites are raking it in. Meanwhile, Hollyweird is poisoning minds all over the world with every form of depraved filth, sadistic violence and sexual perversion–for profits. The US invasion of Iraq has led directly or indirectly to 2 million dead, possibly many more, and the overspill resulted in the Syrian civil war with many millions either dead, injured or displaced–and no one knows why it happened? With all that, American cities have become showpieces of decay, unemployment, poverty, drug and alcohol addiction that are filled with crime. I say burn it down. It is clear to see that we have to destroy the world in order to save it.

Current FBI director James Comey stands to benefit once he’s fired, or quits, after Hillary is elected. I’m looking forward to his tell-all book about what the FBI uncovered, and why the Obama Admin flushed his investigation down the toilet. FOX will have a field day- unless Hillary shuts it down.

I admit, I am a pessimist. Happy go lucky, tra la la, glass half full optimists piss me off. The glass is half empty, and someone pissed in that. In a way I look forward to the aforementioned long hot summer. Maybe with glee, but probably ultimate disgust. I’m sick of PC bullshit, BLM, utterly corrupt politics, and cries for diversity. I prefer life in a community that is racially, culturally, intellectually similar and compatible with my views. Sometimes you must throw the baby out with the bathwater and tear everything down in order to start over and rebuild. I hate Donald Trump. That said, I fully intend to vote for him in the general election and vote anti incumbent on every other ballot. If the GOP establishment manages to keep him off the ticket, all bets are off. All I can do now, is wait and see. Ultimately it may be time to lock, load and hang on for the ride.

The interesting thing to me, is that in all the Establishment/MSM attempts to “take out” The Donald, they never use his most appalling behavior against him. It isn’t really hard to figure out why they continue along with their silly “did you hear what he said?” faux outrage propaganda. It never is even what he actually said, either.
I’m supporting Donald no matter what, because there is no one else.

” to watch your words twisted by fools. to make a trap for knaves. ” Rudyard Kipling. i

t always amazes me how they twist the Trumps words. I am an independent and was going for Bernie , but when i see the big money , the big media and the republican party working so hard to stop Trump . i have to wonder why and take another look at him.

        • JimInFlorida June 20, 2016 at 4:45 pm #

Perhaps The Donald took a page from FDR’s boast about his enemies.

“Never before in all our history have these forces been so united against one candidate as they stand today. They are unanimous in their hate for me–and I welcome their hatred.”

FDR’s speeches are infinitely more substantive than Trump’s but, we have to take what we can get in these dark times. When I hear Trump declare war on his fellow billionaires, THEN I’ll believe that he’s the real deal

      • NorthernSpy June 21, 2016 at 12:24 pm #

Happy to see Kunstler finally turning to the endless Corruption behind the endless Wars costing US taxpayers (primarily the 99%) $1 Trillion per year. The Pentagon is the world’s biggest oil consumer accounting for 6% of US oil usage and biggest greenhouse emitter.
It is startling to think of the figures involved in shipping out arms developed at US taxpayers expense to shady regimes all over the planet for huge profits. As Kunstler points out $165 Billion in arms sales counting only those to Clinton Foundation backers! It is insane that the US is selling $60 Billion to the Saudi dictators, while also selling arms to Israel. Arming India AND Pakistan as both are at odds,
shipping out 30,000 rocket launchers until Clinton’s watch as Secretary of State to Islamic militants in Libya since rattling around creating mayhem in Mali and Africa as well as winding up in the hads of ISIS. The big secret is that the weapons of death and destruction for huge profits by the subsidized Merchants of Death are the US biggest export! Arm them all say the Merchants of Death as they collect billions for arms development but as usual pay almost no taxes.
    http://www.seattletimes.com/business/boeing-has-big-tax-refund-coming-from-uncle-sam-mdash-again/
We cannot survive these endless Wars pursued for the profits of the Merchants of Death.

Speaking of the Saudis, let’s not forget the 28 redacted pages that are “supposed” to be released detailing how the Saudis financed the 9/11 hijackers:

      https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/may/13/911-commission-saudi-arabia-terrorism-finance

As if “The Queen of Chaos” was not aware of any of this prior to doing her arms deal with a country that has one of the worst human rights records on the planet.

If the Superdelegates are arrogant enough to put her over the top (cause she actually does not have enough “pledged delegates” at this moment to take the nomination) on July 25th at the Democrat soiree in Philly, I think they are going to be in for a rude awakening when Hillary goes to the podium to make her big acceptance speech and all the Sanders delegates walk out or stand and turn their backs (highly recommended).

There will be NO UNITY in Philly. No more “going along to get along” with war criminals and liars.

I predict the vast majority of Sanders supporters will do one of three things. They will either vote for Jill Stein or Donald Trump or they will stay home.

If Lynch and Comey refuse to indict the witch, Trump will. And the American people will convict her on November 8th.

      • Janos Skorenzy June 20, 2016 at 1:58 pm #

Comey and Clapper recently bowed down and made statements about Transgender oppression. Now That’s towing the insane party line. Anyone capable of that is capable of anything or in this case, not doing anything about an insane situation. I think we can expect very little from Mr Comey. At the end of the day, he’s a climber, a me firster and a party man, since that is how you get ahead. Hope I’m wrong.

Paul Krugman has another delusional piece on the crackup of the Republicans while arguing the Democrats are just fine!
      Ha! I don;t think so!
People are sick of both Corporate parties so as James Kunstler has suggested for some time I agree we are in a situation like the 1850’s before 1860 of a major political realignment and the emergence of new political parties or transformed political parties sundering the neoliberal/neoconservative Corporate dominance for decades.
By the way, the Airline companies were surprised to find jet fuel prices jumped by 80% recently! Having been burned by jet fuel price
futures after the price of oil dipped they are foolishly dropping any
protection against future price rises citing “instability”.
      Some people never learn!
Peak Oil denial is just so strong…

On the issue of Islamic immigration ((beneficiaries of the Diversity VISA program (Immigration Act of 1990)), Jill is standard-issue boilerplate New Left.

On her website, I like a lot of what she represents (Labor Rights, Economic Rights, bringing banks and corporations to heel) but, she doesn’t have the political muscle to make it happen.

Gresham’s Law will prevail unless the Political Estate rises up and uses Force Majeur to stop and reverse destructive immigration policies. That means America may well see the necessity of Adolph Trump and for the very same reason that Adolph Hitler arose. ZOG Amerika is going down the same path that brought Weimar Germany to an existential crisis; compounded with mass anomie and social septic shock from the flood of undesirables.

Karma has gotten sick of America belching and braying about its relative moral superiority over National Socialist Germany. Constantly taking cheap shots at Hitler and the desperate Germans who supported him.

Now WE are being put in the very same spot and Karma will not let us weasel out of our punishment. Hitler gave Germany its dignity back but WE will not get that compensation when Herr Trump is forced to do what he must. WE will be made to choke on our cheap pride and forced to wash it down with shame because, for decades, Nativists and Populists warned that this was coming and why it would happen.

laughable how you people can’t see Trump for the common sense ideas he brings to the table.

    • cbeard June 20, 2016 at 10:13 am #

I do agree he has many common sense ideas, especially on immigration, tariffs and such. Also, I believe he is correct in assuming he can’t get a fair hearing from a La Raza judge. As stated, I don’t like the man or his overall demeanor. But, if he can start to straighten this mess of a country out I’ll be a supporter. First thing would be an immigration moratorium.

      • Elrond Hubbard June 20, 2016 at 12:47 pm #

Trump is an opportunist. Every presidential candidate is a narcissist to some degree, but they’re nothing against this guy. He has no ideas of his own, only the bottomless need to feed his own ego.

The dangerous thing is, it genuinely is refreshing to see someone waltz into the most sanctimonious farce the world has to offer, fart proudly and humiliate all the politibots. But Trump isn’t bringing ideas to the table, only himself. During the primaries he would say whatever came into his head and people would let him get away with it. Whatever got him the loudest applause lines, he would pick up and build on. He discovered that the way to succeed was by catering openly to the prejudices and fears that Republicans used to cater to only covertly.

Clearly America’s immigration problem needs a solution, but when Trump talks about forcibly removing 11 million people from the country, he’s in ethnic cleansing territory. Libertarians have been comparing such a move to Nazi treatment of Jews and in my opinion, they’re absolutely right. No country needs a leader like that.

11 million? It’s far more than that – as you well know. All illegals have to go. They have no right to stay.

Trump is winning because the media is broken

It is quite simple he states the obvious, he states what people can see with their very own eyes.

But the Broken Media can only speak the narrative such as Orlando where a muslim of some degree of fanatic devotion said “god” not “allah.”

The media is broken and it is your fault liberals.

“The media is broken and it is your fault liberals.”

Ahhh I love the constant blame game among all the regular people in this country. When the wheels really fall off in this country I think we are in for a civil war of sorts that will make the Syria fiasco look like birthday party laser tag.

Newsflash newworld, it’s everyone’s fault. Including mine and yours. Grow up and accept your culpability in this mess along with all those “liberals”.

          • Janos Skorenzy June 20, 2016 at 9:55 pm #

Nope. The hatred started on the Left. They’re the revolutionaries, the destroyers. We can’t be blamed for defending our nation and sacred honor against them. And yes, the Left comes from the “Right” – as in the Banksters and Corporocrats who fund it and use it against the middle class.

Thus the Middle Class is crushed in the teeth of a Vise. The Russian Revolution was funded from Manhattan and other banking centers.

Listen, the guy is a psychotic monster. Full stop.

If you had a curious bone in your body, you would realize that he is the embodiment of the authoritarian, narcissistic, fascist wannabe dictator. How can you not see this?

I don’t give a flying fig what guttural utterance from this “manchild” may resonate with you as your “ideal” as a leader, but this guy is Hitler incarnate. Read up a little on human psychology and it is as plain as the nose on your face.

We’ve had 80 years of advancement and understanding in the field, unlike the Germans in 1933, so we should have no illusions as to what this guy’s all about.

Vote for him and you may get what you desire, in friggin’ FEMA camp spades.

        • Sean Coleman June 21, 2016 at 10:04 am #

Eighty years advance in the understanding of psychology? I really doubt it. I suspect that more people had a good grasp then than now, probably because of poorer education nowadays. To me it is clearly about mass psychology, in particular extravert behaviour (which nobody else seems to have noticed). It is becoming very clear by now what the standard virtuous package contains, standard politically correct attitudes which cover all points from ‘genderism’ to AGW. taking in on the way mass immigration, suffocating state regulation of everyday life, scientism (aka ‘skepticism’), modern witch hunts (eg Bill Cosby), and ‘anti-fascism’.

A common denominator is that those who subscribe to the formula believe that they know and that their opponents are irrational fools, when it is in fact (and demonstrably so) the other way round.

This article in the Guardian, written in the wake of the recent murder of MP Jo Cox, illustrates my point. This newspaper is absurdly dogmatic and credulous, yet Cohen describes the opponents of Britain’s membership of the EU as ‘irrational’.

Gustave Le Bon wrote the Psychology of Crowds in (from memory) 1895. The behaviour he describes has been greatly exacerbated by the internet and the social media but there is no corresponding increase in awareness of it. The opposite, in fact, from my own experience.

I forgot to mention above another thing which is often remarked upon: the intolerance of those who preach tolerance and pluralism. This, like the rest, is mainly explained by the extravert’s utter conviction that what is is, by definition, right. The extravert polices etiquette and social mores, probably in that order, strange to say.

To me all, or the big majority, of the posters who take the liberal line on this weblog show these characteristics.

He’s a Warrior Chief, not a politician. In other words, he’s exactly what we need. Universalism is OVAH. He is wonderful to his people and terrible to his enemies. You seem to be choosing correctly, so just buy the ticket and get on the Train.

Universalism was always a Dream. It could never be realized since it wasn’t – wait for it – Universal. But it could become a vehicle for a Vicious Conquering Elite, their mandate for World Conquest.

And of course, other races have used this dream to savage Whites who have been disarmed by this dream. And yes, they have often been savaged previously by the Elite who conquered them for their own good. Ordinary Whites get blamed – and the Elite laugh up their sleeves and join in the fun.

“Hapless Bernie Sanders blew his chance to call her on that months ago” – JHK

The most likely reason why Bernie did not press the Email issue is due to his agreement with President Obama, who apparently promised him that either Hillary would take her candidacy out or he would let the FBI investigation to reach its logical conclusion, thus avoiding the huge public relation catastrophe to the entire US foreign policy credibility.

Why President Obama endorsed Hillary and when exactly that video of his endorsement was filmed, is a completely different question. Reminder: that video initially appeared on Clinton’s campaign web site, not on the White House’.

    • SteveO June 20, 2016 at 11:37 am #

Obama’s (in)justice department has always allowed Wall Street crooks and their cronies (that includes the Clintons) off the hook. The only way they would have prosecuted Hillary was if she ran a legal pot dispensary in California instead of the State Department.

  12. FincaInTheMountains June 20, 2016 at 10:27 am #

No matter how much our host dislikes Mr. Trump, in November Donald will become the last barrier to National Socialism in the United States.

Right now, Fuhreress Hillary has still to go through Bernie.

  13. K-Dog June 20, 2016 at 10:41 am #

“but at some point between now and November 8 someone surely will press FBI chief James Comey as to why his agency issued neither a criminal referral nor an explanatory memorandum in the matter of Hillary Clinton’s private email server and its role in the money-gathering activities of the Clinton Foundation while she was Secretary of State.”

You can wish we’d all get a pony for Christmas too. It is not going to happen. I’d put an image of Daffy Duck here so people could figure out why that can’t happen but that would really be lame. At the end of a presidency criminals are released from prison not put in the slammer. I recall Bill Clinton let out a few.

While most presidents grant pardons throughout their terms, Clinton chose to make nearly a third of them on January 20, 2001, his last day in office. This came to be known as Pardongate.[2] While Clinton pardoned a large number (450) of people compared with his immediate predecessor Republican George H. W. Bush, who only pardoned 75, the number of people pardoned by Clinton was comparable to Republican Ronald Reagan and Democrat Jimmy Carter, who pardoned 406 and 566 respectively.

Federal prosecutor and Democrat Mary Jo White was appointed to investigate the pardons. She was later replaced by Republican James Comey, who found no illegality on Clinton’s part.

Comey has history with the Clintons and probably has a few arms contractors as buddies. Press him all you want for a explanatory memorandum or a criminal referral. It is not going to happen.

    • K-Dog June 20, 2016 at 10:54 am #

A cursory search on Comey coughed up this pretty quick.

In August 2005, it was announced that Comey would enter the private sector, becoming the General Counsel and Senior Vice President for Lockheed Martin, the U.S. Department of Defense’s largest defense contractor.

Seems I am totally wrong is stating that Comey has a few arms contractors as buddies. The truth is he has a lot of them. So regarding an explanatory memorandum or a criminal referral I repeat. It is not going to happen! In the revolving doors between government and industry Comey is just another frequent flier. Another anti-patriot out for himself and the tribe of big money and nothing more.

          Prayer for Unity

          Movement For Reforming Society,
          Lahore / Pakistan

Merciful God, You made all of the people of the world in Your own image and placed before us the pathway of salvation through different Preachers who claimed to have been Your Saints and Prophets. But, the contradictions in their teachings and interpretations of them have resulted in creating divisions, hatreds and bloodshed in the world community. Millions of innocent men, women and children have so far been brutally killed by the militants of several religions who have been committing horrifying crimes against humanity, and millions more would be butchered by them in the future, if You do not help us find ways to reunite peacefully.

IN THE NAME OF GOD, THE COMPASSIONATE, THE MERCIFUL, look with compassion on the whole human family; take away the controversial teachings of arrogance, divisions and hatreds which have badly infected our hearts; break down the walls that separate us; reunite us in bonds of love; and work through our struggle and confusion to accomplish Your purposes on earth; that, in Your good time, all nations and races may jointly serve You in justice, peace and harmony. (Amen)

As I told you last week, they feel we are being oppressed by our Non-Shariah Governements. None such should be allowed. And they are willing to die for you to make it so. Somehow you just don’t see that as a threat to our way of life, Gays, Women’s rights, etc. A huge blind spot in your psyche.

The prayer says as much. They want to unite with us – under Liberalism? No, under Shariah. Separate but equal isn’t unity, Kdog. Tolerance isn’t unity. Unity is unity. Believe them – they are saying it right to your face. Yet you insist on reinterpreting their plain speech.

No, you wont have to convert. You can be a third class citizen, paying the tax and stepping to the side as they pass. In other words, a nigger. And no, you don’t have the right to defend yourself if they attack you. You have “the right” to plead for mercy. I’ve studied it and I’m not kidding.

It’s your fault if you don’t convert. You said you wanted unity but then hold back? What did you expect?

      From Voltairenet.org:

“The State Department report on Hillary Clinton’s emails, and the different legal proceedings which followed, establish that she is guilty of :

      – Obstruction of Justice by Mrs. Clinton and her advisers (Section 1410) ;

      – Obstruction of Criminal Enquiries (Section 1511) ;

      – Obstruction of the application of local and Federal laws (Section 1411) ;

      – Federal crime of negligence with classified information and documents (Section 1924) ;

      – Detention in her computer, at home and on a non-secure server, of 1,200 secret documents (Section 1924)

      – Felony – Mrs. Clinton declared under oath to a Federal judge that she had given all her emails to the State Department. However, the Inspector General of the State Department declared this week that this was a lie (Section 798) ;

      – Moreover, she declared under oath that the State Department had authorized her to use her personal computer to work at home. The Inspector General of the State Department declared this week that this was a lie (Section 798) ;

      – Mrs. Clinton did not alert the authorities, nor even her own Department, that her personal computer had been hacked several times. Yet she had asked her system administrator to try to protect her computer.

      – Misappropriation and Concealment. The Clinton Foundation and Mrs. Clinton were corrupted so that the State Department would close their eyes to various practices (Rico Law and Section 1503).

In principle, and since the facts and their gravity have been established by the FBI, the State Department, and a Federal judge, Hillary Clinton should have been arrested this week.”

Hillary Clinton’s IT Specialist, Bryan Pagliano, is scheduled to be deposed under oath and on camera (although the judge has ruled the video will be sealed but a full transcript will be released to the public) this Wednesday, June 22nd.

If he declares his Fifth Amendment right to remain silent that will be an indictment of Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Maureen Dowd pointed out in an article a few years ago that Hillary Clinton’s favorite motto is: “Fake it until you make it.”

Lying to herself might be the worst mistake she will ever make.

  14. Hospice Man June 20, 2016 at 11:10 am #

“Hapless Bernie Sanders blew his chance to call her on that months ago — “The American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails!”” Leave Bernie alone. I suspect that (like Obama in 2008), Sanders was warned far in advance about the treatment he’d get in the Senate should a tough campaign against Clinton for the primary hand the GOP the White House. I suspect he decided to look past the corruption angle. Too bad sanders didn’t count on HRC’s minions stealing votes and sabotaging his campaign. It’s all moot if she is indicted on the possible racketeering charge she’s facing over using the Clinton Foundation to extort millions out of the Arab world in exchange for the State Department signing off on selling our most lethal weapons to them. And I suspect those weapons will be turned on Americans within a half-decade.

    • SteveO June 20, 2016 at 11:33 am #

They really didn’t have to “steal votes” in the primary. Bernie has never been popular in the African American community, and they “just love those Clintons”. Bernie never really stood a chance of carrying the south and with that delegate advantage Clinton was a “shoo-in”.

Unfortunately for Mrs “It’s-My-Turn”, Hillary won’t carry those states in the general election. That’s when they will turn to election theft to make sure they carry Pennsylvania and Ohio.

      • abbybwood June 20, 2016 at 2:49 pm #

Which is why Hillary Clinton will most likely name Sen. Sherrod Brown or Rep. Tim Ryan of Ohio as her running mate.

He/she who wins Ohio becomes President.

        • SteveO June 21, 2016 at 12:05 pm #

I don’t think she’ll take Senator Brown because John Kasich would get to pick his replacement and that would give a Democratic senate seat to the Republicans.

    • Janos Skorenzy June 20, 2016 at 2:31 pm #

Yes, it was an absurd moment. It looked like he was throwing the campaign and becoming Hillary’s wing man. Maybe not, just more party loyalty and all the character flaws implicit in that in a corrupt society.

Bowing down to the BLM was another sickening moment. His statement, “Whites don’t know what it’s like to be poor” is another.

      • Majella June 20, 2016 at 9:07 pm #

Janos – I take issue with both your points. His “damned e-mails” statement was, IMHO, premised on a desire to keep the argument to the issues, which is a highly principled stand, and he achieved that end. He has no influence over the PTB who will decide to indict or not.

So, this is still about what is termed ‘The FBI Primary”. That may yet happen, and Bernie will be in the enviable position of having operated on principles, not expediency. The DNC could not resist his candidacy in such a situation.

On your second criticism – again, he tells the truth and acts from humility. About time there was someone in the White House with a dose of humility and principles. The last one was Jimmy Carter and before him, Ike. 2 in 64 years. Time for a third.

        • Janos Skorenzy June 20, 2016 at 9:59 pm #

The BLM are destroyers. You don’t give into people like this. Mizzou did and now their application rate is way down. Why would you send your kid to a college that has been Africanized and dumbed down? Blacks were going thru the Library harassing, insulting, and assaulting Whites who were studying. They’re simply scum.

    • Frankiti June 20, 2016 at 5:41 pm #

      @Hospice Patient

That holds no water. He is at the end of his career. It’s now or never. To not sacrifice his ineffectual and long-in-the-tooth senatorial career in the all important state of.. ahem… Vermont so as not to get harassed as an Independent (d’oh!) by the democratic leadership is utterly preposterous.

      • Elrond Hubbard June 21, 2016 at 11:25 am #

If the fact that Bernie Sanders is a senator from mere little Vermont is an argument against him, would you say the fact that Hillary Clinton represented New Frickin’ York counts in her favour?

Anyway, Sanders has a long history of getting things done as an independent legislature, usually through amendments attached to other bills. That includes the only audit of the Fed ever done.

        • Frankiti June 21, 2016 at 6:16 pm #

Yes, certainly. NY is vastly more powerful and influential. It has more high wealth donors, more corporate interests, more media interest, a larger population, more intelligentsia, a more diverse population, more voters, more money, more expenditures, more influence, and so on.

Yes Sanders and the Fed audit… and what hath come of it? More yellin’? Snore…

  15. SteveO June 20, 2016 at 11:24 am #

If any non-Clinton employee at the State Department setup a private server and ran their official emails through it they would be in a world of trouble. But if that data later turned out to be classified, they would be in sitting in jail somewhere awaiting what ever book the (in)justice department decided to throw at them.

We’ve been “awful lull”, “calm before the storm”,” eye of the hurricane” for at least 5 years. The 4th turning has been at “crisis” since the early 2000. Kunstler, Orlov, and Greer all wrote their disaster opus’ in 2005. More than 10 years ago. I joined them in 2007 but the Aladdin’s lamp of monetary largess is just too seductive. The true opiate of the masses. Or perhaps it’s the God delusion. Why pick reality over heaven? Venezuela is experiencing the joy of no money. There are a lot of places we really don’t want to go. What percent of the population is exactly like Congress, going along to get along? The airports/planes are packed. The restaurants are full. The most important thing that Russian fighter jocks can have is a greater ego than their U.S. counterparts. They should be psychologically ready to fight and be slightly disappointed if they return to base without a scuffle.

For decades, the U.S. has had the Moriah Conquering Wind at its back and the hubris that gave it power to fight with confidence. I hope that Russia is able to pull that power over to its side. Russia cannot go into such confrontations with a 2-dimensional psychology of simply, Target and Attack. Not while the ZOG-NATO machine goes in with multi-dimensional and layered power projection.

The debacle of Russia’s limited thinking was apparent when the solitary Su-24 was caught with its pants down and unprepared for an ambush by Turkish F-16’s. If the U.S. was on the same mission, the “bomber” would have been watched by radars and maybe even an escort. It would not have been ambushed. I’m hoping Putin made sure that such a bitch move would not happen again. Especially now that the Russian fighter-bombers are being challenged.

Putin needs to “Go Big or Go Home.” Syria is the equivalent of the Cuban Missile Crisis for Russia and Putin cannot be incremental in power projection now. If a bombing mission requires two Su-24’s, then there needs to be at least ten other fighters escorting them. With S-400’s standing by to defend the bombing mission. Do exactly what the IDF Air Force would do and cite the IDF’s own ROE if the shooting starts.

Jim, very bad idea of trying to second-guess Putin’s true intentions without knowing a very complex situation on the ground.

        • JimInFlorida June 21, 2016 at 8:25 pm #

Finca, Putin may have his inside knowledge but, we all know what kind of psychopathic criminal energy drives Washington.

Putin is trying to play chess with a madman. A madman who will only back down to something bigger and meaner than him.

And it’s funny to watch as “men of good will”, such as, for example the head of the Air Force Human Resources David Goldfein, are trying to explain to their fellow citizens-voters, that the introduction of no-fly zone named after Hillary Clinton in Syria – a frenzy that would end badly, not only for the US Air Force, but also for the voters.

A poor Americans can not understand what David Goldfein alludes to; requiring a written order of Congress for such action, and the fact Syria is different from Libya. But they do not understand because they from elementary school were explained that the US Air Force has always been stronger than the Soviet Air Force, and even in Korea F-86 shot down the MiG-17 and MiG-15bis, if not by thousands, then by hundreds and certainly can not imagine that someone dares to shoot down American fighter.

And it may very well be that those who are trying to engage the United States in a new war sincerely believe that they could shoot down a pair of Russian fighters, Putin will run scared and agree to unequal relations with the United States. And nobody knows nothing.

But if even one American fighter buries its nose in the Syrian sands …

    • abbybwood June 20, 2016 at 2:57 pm #

One slight hiccough in that scenario:

Russia is in Syria at the invitation of Assad. The United States is an invader.

What “right” does the United States have to “set up a no fly zone within Syria” without a declaration of war made by the U.S. Congress after full debate?

Higher Education is one of the Rackets afflicting our country right now. I’m reading some disturbing things about a Laurentian University, Bill Clinton, the State Department, and large sums of money.
Hillary’s cockamamie answer to Bernie’s plan for higher education is one of those ‘solutions’ that only serves to keep the money flowing into the pockets of the 1%, much like Obamacare does to the medical field.
She envisions students undergoing some sort of indenture servitude to “the government” while the universities continue to be able to overcharge in order to support out-of-office career politicians. Think of incompetent hack Janet Napolitano.
Does anyone still think the FBI does something useful? Did anyone else see John Miller stumbling over the question of why, despite warnings, they did not keep an eye on the Tsarnaev family? The only time Comey gets stirred up is on the issue of his right to spy on every man, woman, and child in America, just in case.
I almost forgot, Chelsea Clinton on Lyin’ Brian’s bomb of a TV show, doing a commercial for an insurance company, getting paid six figures. Money laundering?
Big Food is another Racket. I’ve lost over twenty pounds now, NOT following the advice you get from doctors. Why does the government continue to push incorrect, outdated, even fraudulent dietary advice, despite all evidence to the contrary? They’ve even got a First Lady pushing their crap. What does she know, and why her, and not a Surgeon General? More on that at a later date, maybe.

Chelsea once gave an insane little speech where she said she tried to care about money and just couldn’t! No doubt it was just pure coincidence or happy chance that she found herself marrying a billionaire.

A former neighbor of mine, family owns a ‘Destruction’ company, mostly pulling down abandoned factory buildings ,,, of which there are many.

I was on another one of those jobs moving out machinery at an old brass mill with my millright friend, in the Naugatuck valley. The machinery is slated for shipment to S Asia, the massive redbrick factory slated for destruction. When we were almost thru I saw a few guys walking around the place, I asked “Who are they?”. “They’re from Manafort Bros., this place is being torn down.”

If Trump is on the ballot, I’m voting for him. In fact, I’m voting for whoever’s on the Republican ballot. I don’t see why we can’t let Trump have the helm for a bit. He could do only better than Obama.

Obama was and is a major disaster. Obama has been instrumental in providing the Muslim Brotherhood a permanent foothold in the scheme of things.

So don’t be afraid of Trump. What could he do wrong – and even if it does wrong, that’d be two wrongs making it a right!

As for Hillary – she spent eight years in the White House sharing government secrets with Bill during their pillow-talk sessions. She knows EXACTLY where and what the boundaries are with respect to documents – how they are classified – how they can be identified – and in fact the very content of a typical top-secret need-to-know document. Hillary was probably repeatedly admonished by Bill “I’m not supposed to let you know about this, but read this …” over and over again. Bill and Hillary are the opportunists we do not need – yet we may get them for eight more years. Horror.

Sad the first potential woman president had to be so damned corrupt. Couldn’t do better, could they?

    • Janos Skorenzy June 20, 2016 at 4:21 pm #

Trump should pick Pocahontas for his VP. The fights would be hilarious. He could teach men how to deal with difficult women again. If she acted up, he could order her off the stage and send her to her room.

Well given Comey’s loyalty to the GOP, and assuming there is something actually indictable, I suspect he’s waiting until the GOP have ousted Trump and put in place someone more appetizing for the leadership, and also until it is far too late for the DNC to replace Hillary. By doing so he greatly increases the possibility of a GOP win.

    • K-Dog June 20, 2016 at 5:55 pm #

But a factotum for the military industrial complex is not going to trash his reputation as a good old boy over partisan politics. The fiction of differences between the two major parties will be maintained by other means but their commonality with fascism as the major governing force in America will keep Comey from going after Clinton.

  25. Frankiti June 20, 2016 at 5:15 pm #

“Hapless Bernie Sanders blew his chance to call her on that months ago — “The American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails!” — but it’s absolutely certain that Trump will jump up and down and shout woo-woo-woo about it during the general election campaign, if he manages to not get dumped at the GOP convention. Or his as-yet-hypothetical replacement will.”

That was the moment many eliminated Sanders as a viable candidate. He hesitated, and his response was cleverly spun by the ever-spinning Clinton machine as Sanders also wanting to move beyond the emails. He let the spin go too! That was a telltale sign of his diminished acuity. He got played and didn’t see it coming or going by. His loud sermons delivered to youthful and energetic crowds belied his milquetoast comportment. On a stage alone, with the beaten-down Hillary carrying a hundred picador lances, with even the NY Times’ Dowd in on the scrum, he only had to deliver the coup de grace. Instead, he absentmindedly left his sword in the locker room and left out a sad and sorry “Whoooooooooa… whoooooa”.

I do not know James if you were cognizant at the time and aware of President Eisenhower and his ability to serve as president, and though I was not quite yet, I was under the impression that he was very competent and fairly honest, though perhaps amore than a little bit bland. However, I remember Jack Kennedy well and even those of us children who pulled with our parents for his adversary during the election, fell in love with him and lined up behind him as our beloved leader. As I watched him murdered on that evil day in November, I had a really bad feeling that things were being changed forever and NOT for the better. In the 53 years that have passed since then, the candidates, the process, and the system have decomposed into a pathetic dung pile of what this nation once used to be and I for one hope that when the flatulents clear from the stage of national idiocy this November and the mindless idiots crown their first and last Queen of America that the torture and torment that will surely result from such an evil turn of event passes quickly into, puts us all out of our misery quickly and does not drag our demise out as long as possible.

Even JFK was deeply confused, on record for supporting disarmament in favor of the United Nations at one point. Other times defending our interests, sometimes well, sometimes poorly. He seemed to have realized the Federal Reserve scam. That might have gotten him killed. Confused, but no traitor. Hillary is the opposite: not confused, complete traitor.

Coming up July 1, 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme.

60,000 British casualties on the first day, by Nov 1916 about a million dead German and British soldiers. If you want to find out when & where Western Civilization began to disintegrate, the Somme would be a good place to start searching. Of course there was Loos in 1915, Verdun in 1916, and Passendale in 1917.

Its interesting how a catastrophic event like the Battle of the Somme, which broke nations, ended eras, and caused oceans of grief thru out Europe, could all but be forgotten today. Somme is where the gloves came off, and it was the beginning of the end for Europe. Were seeing the end results washing up on the shores of Greece and Sicily, and walking into Germany.

It is not forgotten by all of us my friend, The Great War is a very interesting study and I have done much of this. It was a turning point where modern warfare went from being a thing of “honor” and “bravery” to become a Butcher Shop of mass horror. It is sad to study this in detail because after this monumental realization, mankind simply accepted the new paradigm and embraced it, leaving those who fought WWI stunned and broken. Yup, we humans quickly got over it. Personally, I noted that after the Civil War, generals no longer led their troops into battle at the front of the lines, but cowered at the rear and coaxed the sergeants to do the dirty work. This should have been a loud and clear warning to us all that war was now truly evil and maybe not something worth doing anymore, but fortunately for the profit margins of the World’s armament manufacturers, the new era of unending war for profit is alive and well. We shall never learn, bring on Armageddon, please!

    Seventeen Moments of Spring

Seventeen Moments of Spring is a 1973 Soviet twelve-part television series based on the novel of the same title by Yulian Semyonov.

The series portrays the exploits of Maxim Isaev, a Soviet spy operating in Nazi Germany under the name Max Otto von Stierlitz, played by Vyacheslav Tikhonov.

Stierlitz is tasked with disrupting the negotiations between Karl Wolff (SS) and Allen Dulles (CIA) taking place in Switzerland, aimed at forging a separate peace between Germany and the Western Allies.

But after he succeeds in his mission, he is explained by the head of the Gestapo, Muller, that he just cleared the way for similar talks between Dulles and the head of the NSDAP Bormann, who holds the common fund (obschak) of the NSDAP.

Obshchak NSDAP, which was robbing the entire Europe (including Russia) for 15 years and in 90s with the help of Kohl and Gorbachev also laid their hands on the gold reserves of the USSR and Russian Communist Party funds.

Those funds of NSDAP were never officially recovered.

Can anyone guess what kind of money is involved? According to some estimates, we are talking about $20 trillion at least. That is, it means that the capitalist world in which we live belongs to the NSDAP.

I want to note that the NSDAP is a very old project, it is a plan of reorganization of the world, and not just its social organization, but above all to change the relationship of God and man.

That is, we are dealing with a religious sect, the history of which could be traced to 11th century, in fact probably the sect originated even earlier. The history of this sect quite easily could be traced in the history of architecture, as it has such a wonderful token as a so-called “westwork” consisting of two symmetrical twin towers.

And if you want to examine the history of one particular building in the city of New York, it immediately becomes clear that the first victim of Allan Dulles and Bormann conspiracy became Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who was the head of the other medieval sect, which conventionally could be called the “Red Project”.

And here I have had this notion, for the longest time, that the rump Third Reich has its HQ in Neuschwabenland, Antarktika: military bases, Ubermenchen und Uberfrauen in some pretty fancy uniforms, SS komeraden, submarines, GESTAPO, flying saucers, beer and brats…. the works.

Add to it a few satellite outposts in Paraguay and other undisclosed countries of South America ( you all know – O.D.E.S.S.A.,The Boys From Brazil; Ratlines) for tropical holidays and easy banking. Now we are talking a transnational conspiracy.

Wasn’t that the real objective of Admiral Byrd’s flotilla in Operation HIghjump in 1947? To get those NSDAP folk to come out of cold storage. Or maybe it really was to locate the hole at the bottom of the world enter the hollow Earth and meet with the very nice people of Agartha.

Any way one slices it Finc, we have a globally weird situation, NSDAP/American elections/ISIS follies/BREXIT etc. that is only going to get more bizarre.?? ???? ??????! .

      • FincaInTheMountains June 21, 2016 at 6:30 am #

Yes, I agree, it is getting weird and I understand that my post is not particularly helpful in clarifying this weirdness.

But to me the most mystifying question that lies in the foundation of today’s complete weirdness, is Why United States and Russia fought the Cold War after such glorious common victory against the Nazi?

I mean if we assume that the common text-book explanation that it was because US is a shining democracy and USSR was a communist dictatorship is just a B.S., since it does no explain today’s confrontation between after-communist Russia and post-capitalist US.

        • Walter B June 21, 2016 at 10:59 am #

The answer to your question lies in mathematics. The Russians took (round numbers) 10M military and 10 M civilian casualties while the Germans lost $7M military and $10M civilian losses. The Americans on the other hand lost only 400K military and an imperceptible number of civilian casualties. This is because the Russians battled long and hard against the Nazis in a fight to the death in their own country while the Americans stalled the opening of the second front for years. By the time we launched the Normandy invasion the Russians had done the bulk of the dirty work and IMHO felt that they had earned the lion’s share of the booty and plunder when the war was over. As it turned out, America not only took the best and the brightest but used our transplanted German scientists to allow us a huge advantage in our space program, allowing our newly developed atomic bombs to be delivered all around the world and quickly. On top of that, our position as the World’s most intact military machine AND the worlds most prolific arms manufacturing complex put us in the driver’s seat on the planet. Though initially referred to as the World’s Policeman, America has devolved into the World’s Bully Boy and the Reds knew this would be the case, that it would lead to this eventuality. Yes, it all makes sense when you consider that it is the greediest of all of the bastards that rule all of the nations and that this is their common, yet conflicting goal.

          • FincaInTheMountains June 21, 2016 at 11:08 am #

You didn’t have the means of delivery of your nuclear bombs, and Korean war and the MiG’s valley proved that.

Soviet MiG fighters broke the speed of sound 3 years before American Sabers did.

            Check your facts.

Jews lost interest in Russian Communism as their ethnic vehicle with the birth of Israel and Stalin’s rise to power. When Stalin saw their basic lack of interest or even treason in favor of a pro-Israel West, he began to purge them.

And obviously as a nation-without-borders, once the Soviet Union was no longer pro-Jew, why would Jews here support them?

My working hypothesis is that the Nazis are preparing to take revenge for the defeat of the Third Reich by smashing American and Russian peoples against each other.

“There’s no way that the shady doings of the Clinton Foundation will not become a campaign issue whether Trump emerges as the eventual GOP nominee or not, and of course the other noisome matter of exactly what Hillary told Too-Big-To-Fail banks in exchange for many quarter-million dollar “speaking fees” still lurks behind all that. Hillary’s partisans at the The New York Times and The WashPo have ignored these stories for months, but the telltale stench remains, like a dead body under the floorboards.. In contrast to her beaming victory lap after the California primary, all this stuff promises some serious frowny-face for Mz. It’s-My-Turn in the months ahead.” — JHK

Yes indeedy! …And as a nice follow-up (since The Donald is positioning himself as a “non-interventionist” — bad for business, don’cha know), there’s this walloping load left on the living-room rug that’s stinking up the joint:

“The authors of [“Expanding American Power,” published by the Center for a New American Security, a Democratic Party-friendly think tank] hope an improved economy can help change the current situation. “Ensuring that the domestic economy is lifting up the average American is still the best way to ensure support for global engagement and also contribute to a stronger, more influential America,” they write, though they see no end in sight, regardless of public support, claiming, “the task of preserving a world order is both difficult and never-ending.”

That this is what a think tank closely associated with Hillary Clinton is openly claiming should be concerning to all. While such analysis and declarations no doubt please the Center for a New American Security’s defense contractor donors, the American people are less-than-enthused with perpetual war for perpetual peace.

Former Secretary Clinton already affirmed her belief in regime change during the campaign, but now it looks like those waiting in the wings to staff her government are anxious to wet their bayonets.”

…And on top of THAT stinking pile… yet another stinking pile from the “dissent channel” of the State Dept. (loaded to the gills with neo-con shitheads). These damnable lackeys are obviously clawing and climbing over each other to kiss Her Majesty’s a…… I mean, *ring*. On top of all the other constrictions, constraints and contractions, the SCOTUS has given the police a[nother] very dangerous weapon. Haven’t heard of it? You’d better look into it. If the police employ this with willful and gleeful abandon (which they most certainly will), they’ll get what they’ve been wishing for. Namely a “us-against-them” atmosphere, in plain, unambiguous sight. Think the police have a small problem with the public trusting them now? Just you wait. Yep, as always, careful what you wish for.

Things are unravelling. This is stranger than what was going on back in the 60’s. I believe that we are approaching an unimagined series of events that will propel us who knows where. Things appear to be coming to a head, and I don’t know where they will wind up. Right now, everything is going along somewhat normally, but I can see where events might get crazy., The only thing that I think to myself is: “keep your powder dry.” Events are occuring that are unprecendented in our recent past, and I don’t know how to interpret them. All I can say is that JHK’s interpretation could very well be true, but what are the events that lead up to this condition? I have no way of knowing. I know what I think, however I could be wrong. Do I sound confused? Well I am. So at this point, my instinct is to hunker down. Mabye I’m wrong, but only time will tell.. I feel, without knowing, that the wheels are coming off. Interpret that how you will, but the future doesn’t seem to be that comforting. It would be nice to have a playbook of what the future will bring, but like most of the mortals here, I don’t really know.

      In a metaphorical sense, right?

The things that are coming cannot in any way be fended off by the use of firearms. Clinging to your guns and religion only provides the illusion of security and comfort in times of change.

Losers McCain and Romney (and a triumphant Obama), taught us that.

If you want to know who your father is, you can do all kinds of scientific tests – or you can ask your mother. She knows. This is the descending process of knowledge, mouth to willing ear. Thus we must rely on the Scriptures to tell us about God and his Nature.

I know, I know – what if your mother doesn’t know either? But God isn’t a lying crack whore or meth trailer trash. God is God and He doesn’t lie. This is the circular method. I believe in God because the Scriptures say so. And I believe in the Scriptures because God spoke them. Ultimately all knowledge and faith come from within. No man can doubt his own Self. These other things just elicit what is already there, much like a catalyst in chemistry.

Yes, we must bring back the code duello. There are gaps in the justice system. An asshole can torment someone for years and stay within the letter of the law. That must end.

As Shakespeare alluded, God will strengthen the hand of the Just and he may triumph over the thug and hired sword even as David triumphed over both the lion and the giant, Goliath.

Oh, I see. You are one of those who believe in “self-defense”

University of British Columbia neuroscientist Evan Thompson has confirmed there’s nothing that corresponds to the sense that there’s an unchanging self.

But it’s a free country. You can spend your money on guns and ammunition to defend a “self” which does not exist. Good luck.

          • Frankiti June 21, 2016 at 6:21 pm #

Goebbels, just as there exists the “self” that you present here, there exists the “self” that your adopted parents know, the “self” your estranged children know, and the “self” that your former wife, who is now a mister, knows. There is no one Goebbels Skorzeny… all smoke and mirrors.

A couple of recent interviews worth a listen and a rant worth a read:

Chris Martenson, that cheerful herald of decline, speaks with Dmitry Orlov on his Warning From Russia. Orlov’s puffery has grown to the point where he is in danger of becoming a caricature of himself, but he is still entertaining and delivers a timely message in light of the recent NATO exercises within 40 miles of St. Petersburg. The provocation has not been lost on the German Foreign Minister although it appears Merkel plans to renew sanctions. We can only pray the fissures flourish. The bottom line: Russia has been invaded before to the detriment and destruction of the invader, and this time will not be different – with one very large caveat: nuclear exchange leading to mutual assured destruction. The neo-cons are insane enough to test this scenario.

Orlov goes on to chat about negative interest rates and the definition of money which segue nicely to Greg Hunter’s interview of Jim Sinclair and Bill Holter. Yeah, they’re goldbugs but even goldbugs can cogently and insightfully deconstruct NIRP and markets. Hunter manages not to interrupt too much.

The cherry on top has to be Quinn’s Burning Platform paean to his hometown, Philadelphia: 30 Blocks of Dog Shit and Sugar Taxes. Pithy, acerbic observations at the intersection of macroeconomics, street life and local politics.

Russia will roll over them with its Tank army. NATO would have to resort to tactical nukes to stop them. And is there a big difference between tactical nukes and nuke nukes that nuke cites on the other side of the world? Rhetorical question. NO.

      • Florida Power June 21, 2016 at 5:19 pm #

Depends on what you mean by BIG. There’s a big difference between ton and megaton.

        1 Ton of TNT = 4,184,000 kilojoule, 3,966,000 BTU

        1 megaton = 4,184,000,000,000 kilojoule 3,966,000,000,000 BTU
(Or 3,086,000,000,000,000 ft lbs… how many ft lbs in Mike Tyson’s punch?)

With a tactical nuke there is simply less energy.

        Multi-megaton warheads take out cities.

        • Florida Power June 21, 2016 at 6:26 pm #

          http://www.atomicarchive.com/Effects/effects1.shtml

Excerpt below puts the joules and BTUs into perspective (never mind the radiation):

1 bomb with a yield of 1 megaton would destroy 80 square miles. While 8 bombs, each with a yield of 125 kilotons, would destroy 160 square miles. This relationship is one reason for the development of delivery systems that could carry multiple warheads (MIRVs).

Wikipedia has a discussion of tactical nukes.

        • Janos Skorenzy June 21, 2016 at 8:27 pm #

Yes, but just the fact of using them may open the Pandora’s box of nuclear weapons in general. If a Russian tank army is annihilated, don’t be surprised to “see” ICBMs coming over the Pole towards the continental United Sates. Or more likely perhaps, from submerged subs of our coasts, which suddenly no longer defend us but in fact allow the perfect means of concealment for an Enemy.

          • Florida Power June 21, 2016 at 10:01 pm #

Absolutely, the notion that the USA is buffered by two large oceans is passé.

If NATO takes the first step and deploys tacticals, to paraphrase Orlov in the interview, Russia uses strategic to eliminate Chicago. Then asks the USA, well? Do you wish Dallas and LA next? Or do you stand down and get the heck out of our face?

What is astounding is that these thoughts are real and not just the musings of anonymous little people chatting on the internet. This is as real as it gets. They and we have the weapons and nobody is just kidding.

I just read an interesting article by Camille Pecastaing at the Hoover Institution, called, “Orlando: An Act of Shockism.”

She writes that social outcasts in search of acknowledgement have framed their lethal performance in Islamist terms–kind of an obscene symbiosis in the universe of provocateurs.

“Each generation produces cliques of teenagers and young adults who adopt provocative behaviors to offend those around them.”

Hillary Clinton will be brought to justice. JHK is doing his part by educating people on just who Hillary is:

“One of the Secretary of State’s duties is to approve weapons sales to foreign countries. It also happened that the weapons contractors themselves and companies connected financially to them made substantial donations to the Clinton foundation — and paid whopping speaking fees to Hillary’s husband ex-president Bill, during her years at State.”

“If the self doesn’t exist, you don’t exist either. So why do you care about this or anything else?” –Janos

In an endlessly vast universe, the “long emergency” is meaningless. Lighten up. The neuroscientists are confirming “self-defense” is not defending a “self.” It is all leela, a meaningless play of energy. This video may give you some perspective:

“For after all what is man in nature? A nothing in relation to infinity, all in relation to nothing, a central point between nothing and all and infinitely far from understanding either. The ends of things and their beginnings are impregnably concealed from him in an impenetrable secret. He is equally incapable of seeing the nothingness out of which he was drawn and the infinite in which he is engulfed.” ? Blaise Pascal

I don’t buy guns to defend “my self” because I am nothing. Nothingness is my nature.

“I don’t buy guns to defend “my self” because I am nothing.”

What of others, then…wife, husband parents children, Jill Stein…would you defend them from evil? We’re not talking the “Debbil” here, just garden-variety predators…those evil banalities….

      • wpa_ccc June 21, 2016 at 8:05 pm #

Elysianfield, the real “problem of evil” is we tend to believe it exists. Politicians use it promiscuously (“the axis of evil”).

If you are religious I would ask you why a just and loving God permits evil and the hideous suffering it entails to prevail so often, or even—if they shift the blame to us (because God gave man free will to sin)—why God couldn’t have created a human nature that would not so readily choose genocide and torture?

If you are scientifically minded, then you should know that neuroscience has pretty much eliminated the idea of evil. Those who commit acts of cruelty, murder, and torture are just victims themselves—of a faulty part in the head that might fall under factory warranty if the brain were a car.

So, no. No evil. No killing of those labeled evil. No killing for self-defense. No killing for defense of others. We are going to die one way or another… but we do not have to kill. All those “war heroes” in the civil war who fought and died to protect their families… where are those families now? In the graveyard, killers and victims alike. Killing is senseless. Dying is inevitable.

        • Janos Skorenzy June 21, 2016 at 8:40 pm #

If dying is inevitable, why not make the Evil Ones die, that righteousness may prevail on Earth? This is Krishna’s conclusion in the Bhagavad Gita.

    • JimInFlorida June 21, 2016 at 10:23 pm #

Even the Devil can cite Scripture if it serves his agenda. Hillary Rodan, the Flying Lizard, is Satan’s parrot.

Hillary criminal energy reminds me of a story from the Bhagavad Gita. Chapter 16 Daivasura Sampada Yoga specifically. Krishna is explaining the traits of demoniac people LIKE HILLARY and compares them to jackals and vultures.

      [Krishna is already speaking]
, “…. Their teachings are like the teachings of the vulture and the jackal, who both speak very learned words. One day a beautiful young boy died in the forest. The family came to the forest to perform the last rites. The jackal told the family that they should stay there, whereas the vulture tried to convince them to go home.

The purpose of both of them was to simply eat the body because the vulture eats during the day and the jackal eats at night. In this way demoniac people speak philosophy just to achieve their own ends. ”

      [Skipping ahead, Krisha continues],

“Following such conclusions the demoniac who have no intelligence, engage in horrible works meant to destroy the world. Taking shelter of insatiable lust and absorbed in conceit and false prestige, the bewildered demons take vows to engage in impious activities. Due to illusion they fix ideas for sense gratification in their minds. They never decide upon their goals by shastra. Thus they take foolish vows. Such desires are like vicious crocodiles, and will destroy them.

They believe that to gratify the senses is the prime necessity of human civilization. Even if they read shastra they conclude that life’s goal is to enjoy. Unto the end of life, their anxieties are immeasureable. Bound by a network of hundreds and thousands of desires and absorbed in lust and anger, they secure money by illegal means for sense gratification. When they obtain such illegal money, these demons think:

“So much wealth do I have today, and I will gain more according to my schemes. So much is mine now, and it will increase in the future, more and more. He is my enemy and I have killed him, and my other enemies will also be killed. I am the lord of everything. I am the enjoyer. I am perfect, powerful and happy. I am the richest man, surrounded by aristocratic relatives. There is none so powerful and happy as I. I shall perform sacrifices by my own power, and thus I will go to heaven. I will enjoy with the apsaras there, and kiss them and enjoy.”

In this way such persons are deluded by ignorance. They become too strongly attached to sense enjoyment and fall down into hell. Self-complacent and always impudent, they want big titles and mahapuja. They perform sacrifices to cheat others. They concoct processes of religion. They concoct deities and new mantras. Deluded by wealth and false prestige, they try to impress others and collect great wealth. They sometimes proudly perform sacrifices in name only, without following any rules and regulations. Bewildered by false ego, strength, pride, lust and anger these demons envy Me as well as the Vedas. They are envious and use improper logic to find fault in the Vedas and Myself.

[Arjuna]: What is the fate of such people?

[Krishna]: Those envious rascals, who are the lowest among men, will never become free. I throw them into violent, demoniac species of life. They act in those species according to their own nature, and thus they go to hell.

[Arjuna]: Is there any chance that after many births these souls will become purified and then freed?

[Krishna]: After misusing their human birth, these foolish people go down and take animal births, and cannot get out. There is no hope for them. Not only do they not attain Me, but they will not even attain a good birth. The Vedas confirm this.

Written THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO and still applies now, more than ever.

“It is we, not the Americans, who are loosing the patience in relation to the situation in Syria”, told reporters on Monday the chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov.

Earlier, US Secretary of State John Kerry has accused Russia and Syrian President Bashar Assad that, while they demanded strict observance of the cease-fire throughout the territory of Syria, the Syrian government forces continued the operation to capture Aleppo.

He also said that “Russia should understand that our patience is not unlimited.”

Gerasimov said that the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for three months has directed to US side the coordinates of Islamic State and en-Nusra targets, but “American partners to date can not decide where the legitimate opposition is, and where are the werewolves of international terrorist organizations.”

“As a result the terrorists in Syria are actively rebuilding their forces, and the situation is heating up again, but it can’t continue indefinitely” – the general said.

I agree in principle. That the world should be a U.S.-Russia condominium. A cooperative venture where each enforces the rules of civilization upon their respective clients and for the good of the masses. The kind of good relations that 19th century America and Russia enjoyed.

BUT… PNAC Washington wants it all.

What about the hackers who got into Clintons emails?
    what did they find?

    • FincaInTheMountains June 22, 2016 at 11:42 am #

It’s not what the Guccifer-2 found, it’s what the Russian FSB did by following Guccifer after he tried to hack into he Kremlin site.

And they got plenty, including “destroyed emails”. The question is if the American DOJ is willing to use it.

But technically, FSB didn’t break the law and didn’t hack into HC or DNC servers, they got it off the Guccifer comp.

And pleeeeese, nobody tell me “Ah, how lucky for FSB!”. Just remember the definition of what “is” is and what “sexual relationships” are.

Trump is a blowhard with an errant message

Trump is not seriously running for president. His campaign is a disaster. His malfeasance is off the charts.

Trump has lied about being wealthy. He will never release his tax returns. His campaign is flat broke. He is stealing the money donated for his campaign for his own personal benefit.

Trump’s fundraising reports show he’s used about $6 million in campaign money to pay his own companies and family members.
The spending includes a $423,000 May payment to Mar-a-Lago, the private club in Florida that serves as his vacation home, and enough Trump-branded bottled water to fill a bathtub.

He has no message other than hate. He is a corrupt racist liar and a thief who is conning people to donate to his “campaign”

Jill Stein is a flunky. Being the Green Party candidate for prez is merely a time occupying activity, like belonging to a book club. It helps to “improve her mind” and makes her feel good about herself.

Hillary, on the other hand, is seriously consumed with political ambition from cradle to grave.

My, my, my; seems to be the critical flaw in the human psyche that a preponderant portion of the population at any given time will cling to the most fanciful denial of empirical evidence. No wonder that religions and Disney Land remain such marketing empires. Today’s Liberal Left, no different (label no longer having connection to “liberal” as came to be applied to the great minds of the Enlightenment). No throwing of virgins into volcanoes, true, but the secular faith of PC correctness is no less fanciful and obtuse to objective reality, subsequently the Left’s refusal to accept that there are significant and contentious differences between cultures and societal beliefs. OK, OK, you on the Left win; forsaken will be all scholarship on the subjects of zoology, anthropology, psychology, sociology, archaeology ….uh, well…let’s just say the scientific process altogether. There goes Western Culture which has brought humanity out of mysticism toward a higher, more rational concept of civilization. That way we can cling to the cuddly cute fantasy that had not Western Culture prevailed we’d all be cum-bah-yah. Right?

    • wpa_ccc June 22, 2016 at 12:26 pm #

“There goes Western Culture which has brought humanity out of mysticism toward a higher, more rational concept of civilization.”

Haha. That’s a good one: western “culture”!

Each major developmental turning point in Europe was informed by the assimilation of Eastern inventions (e.g. ideas, technologies and institutions) from the more advanced East across the Eastern-led global economy between 500 and 1800.

The construction of European identity after 1453 led to imperialism, through which Europeans appropriated many Eastern resources (land, labour and markets) in a most uncivilized manner, killing and enslaving millions of people.

If it wasn’t for the west stealing from Eastern civilization, there would never have been a western “culture,” a perverted immoral culture of death, slavery, and torture.

Typical of such selective reading of history; always ends up being just another shaggy back to Eden story. Ironically, the so called Left (label derived from the “free thought” that distinguished the Enlightenment) wishes to contend that had any other culture come into technological preeminence as did Western Culture then humanity would be back in Eden except with better toys. Now, c’mon, human behavior being what it is manifest with those of the most ruthless ambitions always worming their way to power positions. Only Western Culture’s evolved ideas of democratic government structure and process have incorporated check-mate features against the various “isms” of belief that inevitably result. Your hosannas to the Left’s meme has about as much sagacity as televangelism.

“When all civilization is ascribed to the [Europeans], the claim is the same one which any anthropologist can hear any day from primitive tribes – only they tell the story of themselves. They too believe that all that is important in the world begins and ends with them . . .

We smile when such claims are made [by primitive tribes], but ridicule might just as well be turned against ourselves . . .

Provincialism may rewrite history and play up only the achievements of the historian’s own group, but it remains provincialism.”

“Many of us even grew up believing that this West has [an autonomous] genealogy, according to which ancient Greece begat Rome, Rome begat Christian Europe, Christian Europe begat the Renaissance, the Renaissance the Enlightenment, the Enlightenment political democracy and the industrial revolution.

Industry, crossed with democracy, in turn yielded the United States, embodying the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness . . .

This is misleading, first, because it turns history into a moral success story, a race in time in which each [Western] runner of the race passes on the torch of liberty to the next relay. History is thus converted into a tale about the furtherance of virtue, about how the virtuous [i.e. the West] win out over the bad guys [the East].”

WPA — your LP has a scratch. Lift the needle.

Niall Ferguson delivered a TED talk a while back on The Great Divergence (the fact that Europe flourished compared with The East beginning roughly around 1500 peaking in about 1970). He has a few credentials so we are obliged to pay attention. He states that imperialism is too easy an answer, and posits instead 6 “killer apps” to use a modern metaphor: 1. Competition 2. Scientific Revolution 3. Property Rights 4. Modern Medicine 5. Consumer Society 6. Work Ethic.

There is a youtube version which might add an LP or two to your collection and just maybe move the needle a little bit away from the Whites Are Evil meme. Your snippet above contained no reference to the Scientific Revolution, for example. Yes, I know, the White Man stole it all from Egypt, who had stolen it from the great civilizations of sub-Saharan Africa. OK, now that we got that out of the way, consider the canon of Western music. Ever wonder why so many Easterners apply themselves to this? I’ll wager you’ll find more Chinese, Japanese, and Indians touring concert stages around the world playing Bach, Bartok, Mozart, Brahms, and on and on than you’ll find global patronage of those nationalities’ indigenous music. This is not to denigrate Chinese, Japanese, or Indian “serious” music by any means, but the fact is in the serious music world The Western Canon is, to be blunt, superior, and is considered such by it’s non-Western practitioners. There really are standards of the Good, the True, and The Beautiful, and there really is something called Civilization that is distinct from “Culture” and that no amount of moral relativism can obscure.

Yet another close encounter between US and Russian pilots in Syria

According to the report, Russian Sukhoi Su-24s were bombing US-backed Syrian rebels, allegedly with 500-pound bombs and cluster munitions. Armed US Navy F/A-18 Hornets were diverted to the area after two rounds of strikes, but the Russians ignored their hails, which came on a mutually agreed upon, pilot-to-pilot frequency. When the US fighters left the area to refuel, the Russian aircraft went back to bombing the rebel positions.

    http://www.autoblog.com/2016/06/21/american-intercept-russian-bombers/

According to Russian rumors, this “misunderstanding” was attended by Russian fighters and S-400, which by the radar intercepts politely explained the American fighters, that they are in someone else’s air space and it’s a time to leave the party. Moreover, other unconfirmed rumors tell that Shoigu flew to Syria to personally ensure the smooth flow of information and command needed to run attack against the airfield from which fighters can take off on a mission to shoot down Russian planes in the Syrian sky.

My conspiracy theory regarding the coup d’etat by Hillary Clinton has a major flaw – it is unverifiable, since Hillary is not going to declare herself Bastinda the Great and Terrible, and it is it impossible to establish that as a result of the coup decisions are made by her simply by watching the action from the outside, beyond even the White House – according to my theory after the coup White House is no longer a place where decision are being made, but within a narrow circle around the person making those decisions.

And then as if in answer to my thoughts Vice President Biden decides to give an answer to the officials of the State Department, who have required(!!!) that President Obama launched another war in Syria, in addition to the three or four wars that he is already engaged in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Ukraine.

And, in response to the demarche of the State Department, US Vice President Biden described how he objected to the intervention in Libya, in 2011, citing the argument that overthrowing Gaddafi, the State Department will transform Libya into a perfect petri dish for ISIS.

As for verifiability, I want to answer to that with a question:

What’s the point in case of successful provocation to strike New York or Washington, if the decision to bomb was made not there, but say in Riyadh or Berlin?

    ilk
    Origin

Old English ilca ‘same,’ of Germanic origin; related to alike.

    “Ecce homo, ergo elk.”

Some people have made the mistake of seeing Shunt’s work as a load of rubbish about railway timetables, but clever people like me, who talk loudly in restaurants, see this as a deliberate ambiguity, a plea for understanding in a mechanized world. The points are frozen, the beast is dead. What is the difference? What indeed is the point? The point is frozen, the beast is late out of Paddington. The point is taken. If La Fontaine’s elk would spurn Tom Jones the engine must be our head, the dining car our oesophagus, the guard’s van our left lung, the cattle truck our shins, the first-class compartment the piece of skin at the nape of the neck and the level crossing an electric elk called Simon. The clarity is devastating. But where is the ambiguity? It’s over there in a box. Shunt is saying the 8.15 from Gillingham when in reality he means the 8.13 from Gillingham. The train is the same only the time is altered. Ecce homo, ergo elk. La Fontaine knew his sister and knew her bloody well. The point is taken, the beast is moulting, the fluff gets up your nose. The illusion is complete; it is reality, the reality is illusion and the ambiguity is the only truth. But is the truth, as Hitchcock observes, in the box? No there isn’t room, the ambiguity has put on weight. The point is taken, the elk is dead, the beast stops at Swindon, Chabrol stops at nothing, I’m having treatment and La Fontaine can get knotted.

Thank you Florida Power for your wonderful wordistry – There really are standards of the Good, the True, and The Beautiful, and there really is something called Civilization that is distinct from “Culture” and that no amount of moral relativism can obscure.

Fodase – you are welcome. Very curious passage above re ilk/elk.

Ferguson touches on the North America/South America divergence in his discussion of property rights. You are experiencing first hand the fruits of that divergence. I represent multinational manufacturers of high-voltage power equipment and regularly interact with and have friends from Latin America. I recall when one retired from Toronto to move back to Rio and related how one afternoon he was having lunch and bandits burst in and robbed everyone at gunpoint. So it’s not just the USA! Provided material for a State Oil Co of Venezuela project some years ago… I think Chavez was still alive. A total cluster on the ground. No one from the US contractor wanted to go because the word was if you showed any competence they’d confiscate your passport. The workers would show up mid-morning, maybe work an hour, take a lunch break, and then go to a protest rally in the afternoon. Material had a way of growing legs and disappearing from the work sites. I don’t think they ever got the stations built. Another colleague born in Chile of German parents refers to the mañana zone — all of Central America. Ferguson would never refer to race as causative, and indeed who really knows? But somehow there is a big difference and it is hilarious now to endure the insults directed at Anglos from those South of the border speaking the language of their European Conquerors.

Bernie Sanders: “It doesn’t appear that I’m going to be the nominee.”

Most of the media have interpreted these words as his willingness to lie down under Hillary Clinton, although in fact he just declined to answer the question of whether he is preparing the speech on the Convention, which will convince delegates and super-delegates to nominate him, rather than Hillary Clinton. He referred to the fact that most likely he simply will not be given the podium and therefore not particularly straining to prepare speeches.

And if so, and he will not be given the podium and will not put his candidacy to a vote, it will be purely concrete fake of the elections results and the coup. Especially when he gave such a detailed description of tricks, with help of which Hillary Clinton stole his nomination … I doubt very much that someone of his supporters will vote for Hillary.

Meanwhile, the main Hillary Clinton’s IT-man during interrogation 125 times took the Fifth. A group of FBI officers claims that the security system of Hillary Clinton was disabled on purpose so the ISIS hackers could get information from it.

If after that she still becomes president, the United States can be safely assumed to be a crypto-colony of Saudi Arabia.

It’s all too obvious that Bernie was never serious about running in the beginning. His actions showed him acting as a Stalking Horse to make Hillary look better. I’m sure he was astonished at the support he wasn’t expecting and decided to actually run… albeit too late.

When he denied any interest in Hillary’s damned e-mails, he either didn’t understand what e-mails were all about (given his age) or, he was affirming his role as sparring partner at the time.

Even when Bernie finally realized that he had a chance, he never would take aim at the multitude of soft targets all over the Flying Lizard’s body. His campaign manager never got the memo that Bernie was in this race, for real, and kept holding him back.

Alas, Bernie squandered his one and only chance to destroy Hillary and ride the wave of popular support to the nomination. Most likely, Hillary’s Goons reminded Bernie of all the dead bodies that littered the Clinton Crime Syndicate path to power; going all the way back to Arkansas.

      • Janos Skorenzy June 23, 2016 at 2:26 pm #

Probably doesn’t really matter. Bernie said White don’t know what it means to be poor – a despicable lie that shows where he is coming from. Much of White northern New England lies in ruins, just like Jim’s Upstate New York. Bernie has no excuse for a statement like that.

Shades of Ross Perot though – a man who had great ideas but couldn’t really decide what he wanted.

Bernie Sanders’ campaign is not over until July 24, 2016. Hillary did not win enough pledged delegates in the primaries. Hillary is under investigation by the FBI and might be eliminated as a viable candidate. Bernie Sanders will be available to take the nomination when superdelegates vote for Bernie, not Hillary. Bernie is still active… here is his statement on today’s Supreme Court ruling:

“Senate Republicans must stop playing politics and confirm a ninth justice to the Supreme Court.

“Today’s deadlocked immigration ruling means that more than 4 million aspiring Americans in the United States will be left waiting for much-needed answers to our broken immigration system. We cannot let their future, and the future of so many more vulnerable people, fall into the bigoted hands of Donald Trump.

“We must ensure that millions of families are no longer separated by unjust deportations. We must stop the raids, decouple local law enforcement from immigration enforcement, end family detention and close down private detention centers that currently house thousands of immigrants.”

Fred’s essay last week (June 16) was a doozy too. I’m surprised it received no discussion here.

      But while we await Janos……..

Yeah, I think Blacks would do much better academically if it weren’t for their infernal Black Culture.

Hmm, let’s see, it’s been 35 years since Fred wrote that Harper’s article. Judging by everything he’s written over the recent past few years I’d say Fred has become a little disgruntled with Blacks vs 1981.

      • elysianfield June 23, 2016 at 6:02 pm #

        Q,

Disgruntled? Perhaps disappointed. Fred wrote that sloth, greed, and politics have delivered the blacks into their current condition, not any grand conspiracy. Unfortunately for our civil culture, the ignorance generated has been weaponized, and politics on a local level steam rolled into choices wrought by demographics, rather than ability (although not necessarily to the exclusion of ability).

JiminFlorida made an interesting comment last week…he opined that racism is the immune system of the body politic, and I suggested that the statement could be tweaked to “…racism is the immune system of a culture”. If the culture were to be attacked by a “cancer”, and the immune system suppressed, the culture dies. We began suppressing racism in the late 60’s, I would suggest that our culture has full-blown AIDS in our current condition. I am not suggesting that we should have maintained our boot on the necks of the minorities, but our culture is devolved into a gerrymandered map of those who can afford to segregate themselves from the urban issues, and those who, unfortunately, cannot. The cancer is virulent, widespread and continuing, and I see no viable solution.

        • JimInFlorida June 23, 2016 at 8:27 pm #

Thanks. I’m always open to better ways of articulating the same thought. Perhaps “immune reaction” would work better.

The association of Racism with the metaphor of a societal immune system has lots of room for expansion and exploration.

If one REALLY wants to toy with dynamite, examine which NGO groups were / are most involved in suppressing the natural racism that once protected White America.

Even the word, racism, has been extensively engineered to mean something completely different from the strict dictionary definition. “Racism” in modern political parlance, is asserted to be White Resistance to social engineering schemes. That “Resistance” translated into White Supremacy.

The reality is that Racism is simply White Self-Preservation. A purely defensive move that simply wants to be left alone and be free to enjoy a large Lebensraum of like-minded and similarly acculturated people. Racism is the natural immune reaction to incompatible or hostile groups and, THEREFORE, is HEALTHY.

        • Janos Skorenzy June 24, 2016 at 1:18 pm #

Exactly. The status quo isn’t viable nor is where it is headed if currents trends continue. What IS viable is taking the wheel back and deciding our own Destiny – one that obviously doesn’t include minorities. I know that politically that isn’t possible now. But who can say? The Overton Window is moving to the Right and what is unimaginable now may become very imaginable – and then doable.

Politics is the Art of the Possible. The World is as we dream it – and we have dreamed very poorly of late.

    • Janos Skorenzy June 23, 2016 at 2:53 pm #

Well, he says 79% of the Blacks teachers failed a low level teacher test as opposed to 25% of White teachers. Pretty telling.

And so much was different in the 30’s: how many Blacks were even trying to learn to read or going to high school?

Fred is an ally and has spoken at Amren conferences. But he does seem weak on IQ and the fact that the results have been constant for over a hundred years now. Blacks are far below Whites. Obviously our current system is the worst of all possible worlds. Some Blacks could do better, a few much better. But here at least, he seem to be implying a lot more. Can’t agree with him on that if that is what he means.

Catholic schools? The smartest Blacks send their kids there perhaps, so the sample is skewed right from the beginning. Of course, the schools are or were better, and if a Black kid had it, he could study and learn in relative peace.

As for Latinos, his wife is a Mexican, part Jewish. Obviously she reads his columns and he is “ham strung” as to what he can say. Whites keep the lights on and the roads clear there, as well as here.

“Fred is an ally and has spoken at Amren conferences. But he does seem weak on IQ and the fact that the results have been constant for over a hundred years now”

        Janos,
We know that “all men are created equal” is a statement begging for qualification. All men are not…but it is society’s responsibility that each should be given a chance to reach his or her potential…at whatever level that may be. Discipline is essential, the human animal often contrary. The Military, at least in WWII, used unofficial corporal punishment to maintain discipline and to provide direction to those without. I expect that your experiences in the Catholic school(s) you attended were similar? There is as little chance of obtaining a quality education, in a disruptive environment, as there is in finding someone named “Toby” in today’s ghettos.

        • Janos Skorenzy June 23, 2016 at 7:55 pm #

Yes, the military used to have a rough IQ test too. Many Blacks didn’t qualify and couldn’t join. I think its acronym is ASVAB.

Catholics used to have a good system of education. No one has ever doubted that. No doubt now it’s decayed along with almost everything else. I went to such a grade school and remember when the Blacks started attending. They were idiots for the most part. But bigger and older than us, since Blacks used to kept back grades and mature earlier anyway. Some have said the latter fact has spelled disaster for many White athletes.

          • malthuss June 24, 2016 at 10:29 am #

There was some Catholic school or home in NYC that had 100% success rate with rehabilitating juvenile delinquents.

Then gov regulations mucked their perfect record.
Or perhaps the blacks ‘reverse eugenics program’ took its toll.

    “Trump has guile.” –newworld

Guile or hutzpah? Trump made an FEC filing suggesting that Trump is not running a presidential campaign so much as another of his success-immune business schemes.

At the end of May, Trump had $1.3 million in cash on hand — less than the price of most apartments in Trump Tower — and managed to raise $3.1 million over the whole month. Hillary Clinton, by contrast, raised $27 million and ended the month with $42 million. Mitt Romney, that loser, raised $78 million in May 2012.

Trump is committing election fraud. Twenty percent of the campaign’s May expenditures — $1.1 million — were reimbursements to businesses that Trump owns.

The Daily Beast has a partial list: Trump Plaza, Trump SoHo, Trump Café, Trump Grill, Epic Trump Wine Manufacturing, Trump Restaurants, Trump National Golf Club, Trump International Golf Club, Trump International Hotel, Trump Ice.

And, on top of all of this, it appears that Trump may be taking a salary.

There’s obviously an element of incompetence here, the exigencies of national campaigning being just one of the panoply of things about which Trump is utterly and proudly ignorant. There’s also an element of sloth. Fundraising is the drudgework of political life, and Trump hates drudgery.

But there’s also the specter of unseemliness — which hangs around Donald Trump with unusual persistence. There is the Trump Network (his maybe-a-pyramid-scheme vitamin operation) and the American Communications Network (the maybe-a-pyramid-scheme tech company he promoted) and Trump University. It was just last month that Trump was facing questions about $6 million supposedly raised for various veterans’ organizations.

With Trump, it’s always a question whether you’re getting played, and as the question pertains to his presidential run, the FEC filing effectively proves that the answer is yes. Would someone worth “TEN BILLION DOLLARS” be pinching the edges of the toothpaste tube? Would he be trying to bilk donors out of their money — not to build campaign infrastructure and start advertising, but simply to cover his own out-of-pocket costs?

Of course not. And potential donors know it. Any money-man who was thinking about getting behind this effort is going to reconsider. Every right-leaning super PAC is going to look around for alternatives. No one wants $1 out of every $5 that he donates going to fill the coffers at Mar-a-Lago.

But that is what is happening. Just like his opponent on the Democratic side, Trump has no qualms about turning the advantages of public life to private gain, about erasing the line between public service and private enrichment — and even for pennies. Trump has always been concerned, first and foremost and solely, about his own bottom line. Now, he’s simply taken the grift national.

It’s Scampaign 2016, and we’re proving a nation of suckers.

The real cause of the Cold War was the invention of nuclear weapons, with a prominent role in this was played by European Jews who fled to America from Hitler, in particular Szilard, Einstein and Bohr. Einstein in 1934 was invited to the White House by he Roosevelt couple and this meeting made Roosevelt in 1939 read carefully the Einstein’s letter regarding possibility of using uranium to create powerful explosive.

And in 1944 – 45 the medieval order known to us as NSDAP decided to write off Hitler and focus their efforts and financial strength to seize power in the country that has become the owner of the first nuclear weapons.

And in April 12, 1945, Franklin Delano Roosevelt died, and to power in United States came Harry Truman, who was imposed in November 1944 on Roosevelt by the leadership of the Democratic Party, which was originally the party of racists and slaveholders associated with the City of London in the most direct way.

This was fully demonstrated during the American Civil War that had revealed many things, including the limits of the power of the City of London and historical mission of Russia.

Thyssen, Harriman and Bullitt were presiding over this coup and the fact that US geopolitics after the coup turned 180 degrees could be seen with a naked eye.

In particular Truman (as well as Hillary Clinton) has set themselves to the task of destruction of the Yalta world, the copyright to which belonged to Roosevelt, but Stalin fully supported. And most irritated Truman and Hillary Clinton the mos is not only Orthodox-Communist Greece and Serbia, but also the promise given by Stalin to Roosevelt to enter the war against Japan.

And if you look at the dates it turns out that this is the case when Post hoc ergo propter hoc:

    Yalta Conference (February 4-11, 1945).

The capitulation of Germany, the victory in the Great Patriotic War (May 9, 1945).

Potsdam Conference. As part of the Yalta agreements the USSR presented territorial claims to Turkey and demanded a change in the status of the Black Sea straits, including the recognition of the rights of the Soviet Union to build a naval base in the Dardanelles. Truman informed Stalin that the United States created the atomic bomb – (July 24, 1945)

Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (August 6 and 9 1945).

Manchurian operation of the Soviet Army and the defeat of the Kwantung Army (9 August – 2 September 1945).

2 September 1945 – Surrender of Japan, the official end of World War II.

March 5, 1946 – Churchill’s Fulton speech. Beginning of the Cold War.

In June 1946, intensified the struggle of Greek rebels, led by the Communists, and fueled by the supply of weapons from Albania, Yugoslavia and Bulgaria, where there were Communists in power.

At the London meeting of Foreign Ministers the USSR demanded a right to a protectorate over Tripolitania (Libya) to secure a presence in the Mediterranean.

March 12, 1947, Truman proclaimed his doctrine, which included assistance to Turkey and Greece in order to save them from “international communism.” Beginning of US military and political intervention in Greece.

    The blockade of West Berlin (June 21, 1948 – May 11, 1949)

1949 The communist movement in Greece is suppressed, Tito did not allow Serbs to return to Kosovo, Stalin refused to fulfill his obligations to establish a democratic government in Poland

1950 Beginning of the Korean War, which resulted in the Truman and Co. losing power in the United States.

The result of the British referendum has nothing to do with “people’s will” or “rebellion of the lower classes against the political establishment,” and other “expert” delirium.

Yesterday was a match between two rival segments of the British elite who have absolutely incompatible views of the future for the UK.

On one side were supporters of the “status quo” in which one of the main “features” of Britain – it is a representation of Anglo-Saxon interests in the EU, and control of the EU, together with the “Brussels bureaucracy” which openly works for the United States.

On the other side were those who did not believe in the “end of history” Fukuyama style and try to leave the EU and even the US orbit, before the system will sink. For this group, the role of the main offshore hub for Yuan trade is far more attractive than that of the US Cerberus within the EU.

Among the supporters and sponsors of Brexit appear the owners of such companies as Reebok and large hedge fund Odey Asset Management and CQS (the fund owners are billionaires who serve other billionaires in managing their money).

For more interesting details one should just carefully read the biography of Nigel Farage – UKIP leader and a champion for Brexit campaign.

For Russia it is important that very soon, much earlier than the exit process is completed, a very influential Russophobe voice will be gone from the European Union.

This is very bad news for Hillary Clinton, Washington Neocons, Warsaw and the Baltic states.

The process has begun. You can make bets who will be next.

So 51.8% of Brits voted to kiss EU goodbye, from the point of view of the election campaign in the United States is a blow to the war party, led by Hillary Clinton.

Suffice to recall how President Obama sabotaged his party assignment to kill Brexit during his visit to England. There are still left two areas where the results of Brexit vote are still unknown, but if these areas have voted about the same as the rest of the country, the United Kingdom either showed a finger to EU, or kiss it on the cheek, or hugged it to stick a Navajo blade under its shoulder.

Throughout its history, the United Kingdom creates and destroys the various European Unions, as Britain is a special civilization and is not part of the Western European. But in this case the desire to destroy the European Union has nothing to do with Brexit. On the contrary, Britain entered the EU to ruin it from within, and it is so trivial, Watson!

So if it is now playing the role of a matador, it means it is already able to do so and it is euro, not pound, that must fall. On the other hand the decline of the pound makes British goods and more importantly services more competitive. Especially when you consider that the domestic economic situation in the UK is better than in the European Union and the United States.

So now it all begins! In terms of a struggle for a way out of the EU. But since the US sent President Obama to persuade Brits not to leave the EU, and the good old England, in this regard, even hinted at the end of a special relationship with the US, then it may very well be that the British lion turned out to be a very large rat that had just escaped two Titanics.

Bernie Sanders is taking his political revolution to Philadelphia and he’ll continue to run for the presidency.

    Why would he stop?

Would you end your presidential campaign if your opponent faced on ongoing FBI criminal investigation?

Bernie Sanders, his campaign, and millions of supporters throughout the nation and world must wait until July 25th, knowing that the FBI will likely disclose its findings of Clinton’s email investigation before the Democratic convention. POLITICO confirmed the other day that Clinton’s email investigation is a “criminal investigation,” as stated by Federal Judge Emmet Sullivan:

Judge links Clinton aide’s immunity to ‘criminal investigation’
A former information technology aide to Hillary Clinton received immunity from the Justice Department in connection with a criminal investigation, a federal judge confirmed Tuesday.

Bryan Pagliano, a computer expert who worked at the State Department while Clinton was secretary of state and was also paid privately by her, was previously reported to have received immunity in connection with statements he gave to the FBI about Clinton’s private server set-up.

However, there had been no explicit confirmation that the investigation—which Clinton has repeatedly referred to as a “security review”—is actually a criminal probe.

“The privacy interests at stake are high because the government’s criminal investigation through which Mr. Pagliano received limited immunity is ongoing and confidential,” U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan wrote in an order issued Tuesday.

When a U.S. District Court Judge confirms your opponent faces a “criminal” investigation, there’s no reason to concede or leave a race for the presidency.

    Immigrants contribute. Native pensioners drain.

Brexit will make it worse if immigrants to UK are not welcomed.

According to research from University College of London, recent migrants from the European Economic Area (which includes the EU, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein), contributed 34 percent more to the U.K.’s fiscal system than they received from 2001 to 2011. Native citizens took more from the system than they contributed over the same period. This is in part because the U.K. is attracting young, skilled European Economic Area migrants from western and southern Europe, and exporting its aging pensioners to countries like Spain and France.

The financial argument for Brexit is completely illogical and disgraceful.

Trump’s reluctance to finance his election campaign could be due to his doubts about the possibility of fair elections in the country, which has become the victim of pro-Islamic coup.

A surprise visit to Scotland a day of Brexit means his desire for an alternate airfield because he’s tormented with doubts about the possibility to stay in the United States, if Hillary Clinton in her crusade against Christianity and Democracy will not stumble against the Newton’s third law.

    • wpa_ccc June 24, 2016 at 8:32 pm #

“You voted for the last 8 years of the ruination of America, now live with it.”

      2009 –

The Stimulus and associated use of TARP funds. There is now, after much study and soul-searching, virtually every economist in the world agrees that without President Obama’s quick and decisive action (with much of the Western world following his lead), the world, not just the United States would have sunk in an historically devastating depression.

      2010 –

Obamacare, or the Affordable Care Act or the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Since FDR, presidents, everyone, save for George W. Bush, attempted to pass some sort of universal insurance. All but President Clinton and President Obama didn’t try. It was FDR’s hope that a comprehensive social safety-net for the American people so that never again will they experience the horrors of the Great Depression of 1929. He knew the political will was not there to begin a Health Security Program and had to settle for Social Security Insurance, Unemployment.Insurance, Workman’s Comp Insurance, Minimum Wage, and the 40-Hour Workweek. About 40 years later, President Johnson added Medicaid and Medicare Insurance. Then, after almost 40 more years President Obama signed Obamacare into law. Conservatives violently opposed each of these advancement in the human condition.

      2011 –

Repeal of sexual orientation-based discrimination in the military or “the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” from the Clinton era in his attempt to reduce discrimination. Discrimination in America seems to be its national past-time; from the day we became a Nation to … today. It has been a slow, painful, deadly path, opposed by Conservatives every step of the way, to reach the degree of universal liberty we have today.

      2012 –

Forced the GOP to compromise on the Bush Tax Cuts making the cuts for the middle class permanent and raising the rates on the wealthy plus a host of other benefits for the poor and middle class.

      2013 –

With no help from fellow Congressional Democrats and the opposition from Conservatives who vowed, regardless of the pain it causes America, to stop every initiative, managed to maneuver Vladimir Putin into supporting a successful plan to take chemicals away from Syrian President Assad.

      2014 –

Finally began the process of normalizing relations with Cuba, ending a pointless 40 years of American isolation from Cuba (the rest of the world had already normalized relations like mature countries); of course he had to use Executive Order to accomplish this breakthrough. Conservatives continue to oppose this move.

      2015 –

Negotiated the Iranian Nuclear Agreement that reversed Iran’s attempts to acquire nuclear weapons; opposed by … Conservatives, of course. In January 2016, the Iranians met the terms of the agreement in dismantling their nuclear weapons capability.

Brought unemployment down from Bush’s 10% to current 4.7%
Reduced deficit spending, reduced size of federal government, added 14 million private-sector jobs, did not take anyone’s guns, deported millions of immigrants without papers, sealed the southern border which now has a net-zero immigration rate. Under Obama, the number of deportations hit a new high — while the number of returns is lower than at any point since the Ford administration. The border is secure.

Hillary Clinton will be elected in November and will continue Obama’s initiatives related to immigration, health care, etc.

You have vindicated me with your list of failures. Thank you. I especially enjoy the last one — unemployment at 4.7% — do you actually believe the unemployment numbers? C’mon, even liberals know it’s a lie – real unemployment is in the double digits.

How soon we forget the treacherous betrayal by the Republicans to ensure Obama’s victory. Not just once but, twice. Deliberately running an unpopular candidate to rig the match is not new. Bob Dole was rammed through the nomination process in 1996 despite the low poll numbers and popularity of Pat Buchanan. The Dole Strategy ensured that a badly damaged Bill Clinton could limp back into the White House.

John McCain was riding on a fake war hero fable but, then deliberately sabotaged his campaign by nominating an airhead from Wasilla, Alaska. If that isn’t taking a fall for Obama, I don’t know what is.

Then there was the photogenic Mitt Romney, who was the GOP’s backhand to their long-suffering base. The Republican voters were shown how weak and worthless they were and Romney’s placement as nominee was proof. Romney’s choice of a flaming reactionary religious crackpot, Paul Ryan, was insult added to injury. AGAIN, to put Obama back in office.

The Powers That Be wanted Obama and we got him, whether we wanted him or not. Only a pile of dead billionaires will truly solve the problem.

      • wpa_ccc June 25, 2016 at 12:15 am #

That is why the GOP convention will not nominate Trump. They don’t want a third loser to follow McCain and Romney.

The Stupid Party will continue to be stupid, and we won’t know what that means until after they do it.

The Corrupt Party will nominate Hilary.

Meanwhile the forces roiling the firmament will increase in intensity and render the system irrelevant. The Fourth Turning, as it were.

Alan Greenspan had some amazing things to say yesterday on CNBC regarding Brexit. He has been enjoying a renaissance of sorts lately in certain fringes of the gold blogosphere — he was originally a goldbug until going to the dark side. I transcribed the crux of his mantra:

“The forces that are driving both the United States and Europe are very similar. If you disaggregate the GDP data, what you find in the USA , it’s been going on since 1965, is that the sum of gross domestic savings, plus entitlements as a per cent of GDP has been relatively constant over the half century. That means that the significant mandated rise in entitlements has dollar for dollar offset gross domestic savings, which in turn after adjusting for the current account balance gives us a huge contraction in capital investment which in turn is the key element in output per hour and it’s that is what’s killing us.”

The rise in entitlements, catalogued in an earlier post above in your paean to the Democrat Party gods, has in other words crowded out savings and capital investment in the West. You write that Hilary will continue this noble mission. Yet at the same time you sneer at British pensioners participating in the same government-sponsored system. You yourself participate in this system. Any contradiction, cognitive dissonance here? Of course not. “I am large. I contain multitudes.” Woo-Woo.

But the greatest sympathy invokes Bernie Sanders, who for reasons of common human decency has assumed an enormous responsibility for the fate of the entire planet, without exaggeration, supporting during the first televised debate on the eve of the hearings in the US Congress a possible gravedigger of millions – Hillary.

So he once again proved that the road to hell is really paved with good intentions, as if he did not support her in the first debate, Hillary Clinton would have long sat in prison.

  95. FincaInTheMountains June 24, 2016 at 8:27 pm #

Things reached the point that the “Washington Post” – perhaps the most pro-Clinton of publications, where the agent “Deep Throat” 40 years ago brought the plans to overthrow the administration of Nixon and where Donald Trump is now denied accreditation – forced to publish reports that a long vote count in California nourishes rumors that Bernie Sanders actually won primaries in California and hence in the United States respectively.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2016/06/22/californias-lengthy-vote-count-stokes-theories-that-sanders-actually-won-the-primary/

So they somehow respond to the numerous publications on the subject in less prestigious journals. Moreover, they have shown a tendency to panic, reacting by fireworks “defamatory” articles about communication between Trump and Bernie Sanders, when the last “accidentally” forgot where the dinner for the Democratic member of the US Senate was and “wandered” to the lunch for the Republican members of the US Senate.

I have been on this “brexit” story like flies on poop for the past 48 hours.

One of its more interesting elements was the arrival of Trump and a modest sized hand picked entourage by fortuitous happenstance at one of his recently refurbished golf courses in Scotland. For the briefest of moments (11 seconds I believe) he began his comments with a mention of the brexit referendum and then he launched into 12 minutes of praise and hype for the golf course whose restoration his son Eric had directed for the past two years.

By my own less than perfect word count Trump used the word “incredible” 117 times, “amazing” 61 times, and “many many” (as in “I have ‘many many’ German friends and they are all planning to leave Germany”) 13 times. I was surprised and impressed with his intimate knowledge of the golf course itself, the various hole numbers, the features of each and their pars, etc. You would think he had played the course a hundred times. If he knew one tenth as much about foreign affairs he would crush Hillary this November.

These are the kinds of orations we can expect for four years when he becomes our president.

He then began to accept questions from the press and they were ALL about the brexit referendum and none about the golf course. I guess this was to be expected. And I was surprised how many questions he took. He never seemed to tire of the questions and even when he finally said “OK, one more question” he actually went ahead and took two questions.

During this Q and A I noticed a trick Trump uses. To wit, almost instantaneously after a question has been asked — and often before the interrogatory is complete — Trump will begin a response as though he is so well versed in the subject that he has no need for even a moment’s reflection. The fact is we all know that if he was a totally honest man he would respond to most of these questions by saying “Well, if truth be told, I have no expertise and no clue about that question.”

But what politician on earth would ever give such a refreshing answer?

  98. wpa_ccc June 25, 2016 at 12:22 am #

“These are the kinds of orations we can expect for four years when he becomes our president.” –Q

Q., last year you said Trump would not be nominated. I agreed with you then and continue to agree that Trump will not be nominated.

And therefore Trump will not become President.

Even if Republicans were stupid enough to nominate Trump, a narcissistic celebrity con man, he will be soundly defeated by Hillary, or whoever the Democrats nominate. No worries.

We’re only a week into summer, but its off with a bang, here in the Constitution State. Literally, with a bang, as in people gunned down in Hartford, Meriden, and New Haven, about 10 in all. Mostly its turf wars over the best street corners to sell illegal narcotics. In New Haven a woman was attacked on the street by a pit bull, which chewed of an arm, a leg, and her face. That’s how it is now in our cities, once fonts of Western Civilization, now 3rd world crapholes.

On a happier note, despite massive layoffs of state employees and govt debt that will never be repaid, the top administrators at State U gave themselves a raise … and what a raise! The President, Susan Herbst, got $194,000, which pushes her over a cool $1 million per. Dozens of others got anywhere from $50,000 to $100,000 added on to their already hefty salary. Sure, some people complained but they were quickly slapped down. Just about the entire admin is female and any complainers were branded right wing ‘haters’ waging ‘war on women’. That shut them up fast, you better believe it.

The average yearly salary of Connecticut public workers is $60,456.

No state employee in Connecticut (including university presidents, faculty, athletic coaches, etc.) should have a salary higher than $150,000 which is the salary of the chief executive of the state, the governor of Connecticut. If the governor makes $150,000, none of the rest of the state employees should earn more.

What happened in Britain, of course, is a very serious Russian victory.

This fact is noted by the former US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul. In response to the comment of one of his followers on Twitter that “Putin always wins, does he not?” Michael McFaul replied: “Not always, but today it is a huge victory for Putin’s foreign policy objectives. Give him credit”.

Indeed, Russia does not need an aggressive, rebellious EU, instigated, as before 1941, from across the ocean. To Russia it is advantageous to interact with each EU country individually.

After a lot of jabbering about “Brexit”, there’s a conclusive vote. Voting has been a phenomenon that has made many countries nervous because it seems to work for majorities of commoners, people with no direct ties to their government other than a pension or disability check. Why wouldn’t Britain vote to keep their jobs in Britain (Britain being not just England)? This wasn’t a vote to stop Britains from working overseas and using their passports. This vote was and is about protecting British citizens whom, from what I’ve gathered, are being fleeced by the former Prime Minister.

“Statistics for June 2010 show that there are 926,000 young people under the age of 25 who are unemployed which equates to an unemployment rate of 19.6% among young people.[2] This is the highest youth unemployment rate in 17 years…’lost generation'” Wikipedia.org

The voting age in Scotland has been reduced to 16. About 1 out of every 5 young adults vote in national elections according to wikipedia.

Will this vote set a pattern for Scotland to finally leave off Britain or is this vote just about protecting an island from an influx of foreigners most of whom have been Syrian refugees of late?

Britain is the partner of the USA in world domination and military might. We also share the same language. Trump took this moment to act VERY presidential, though the media was fighting having to admit this fact and looking for every opportunity to mock him, his son and his golf course backdrop. Saying it was very insensitive of Trump to use this moment to promote himself. So, his campaign is being stamped as self promotion and in no way in the best interest of his fellow citizens.

The 1973 movie SOYLENT GREEN was very simply a hint from our handlers, a hint of the worlds future. Change takes place very slowly and the EU was part of the plan. Brexit was quite a slap in the face of the planners–Brussels, London, DC, Rome. Will we here in the USA be smart enough to slap next?

Are all of you who believe the Brexit vote is meaningful in any way, for real? Seriously?

Since when has voting ever changed anything for the better? Do you really believe “they” would put “their” vested interests to a meaningful vote? The most powerful people who have ever inhabited this planet are just going to leave their destinies and legacies to the whims of a braindead polity?

Get real, you numbskulls. I assure you, the Brexit vote will change nothing for the better for The Little People. But hell, keep believing it if that’s what gets you through the day, week and month — that voting will somehow reverse your diminution.

So long as the majority still believe in Santa Claus, nothing will ever change for the better for the majority of people. But I assure you, it will continue to get better for a small handful who are in the Driver’s Seat.

Thanks, Cold, for your empty assurances.

The vote on Thursday 6/23 is as close to a Black Swan* as we are likely to see. I will call it a Dark Gray Swan. Cold, as time goes by you are going to find that you are (or have been) on the wrong side of this issue.

This is the beginning of the bust up of Globalism. The common man is coming to his senses.

On a personal note (aren’t all my comments?) I was amused last night when I heard footsteps pounding up the stairs and then my wife burst into my man cave. Her face drooped with sadness. I thought maybe “her cat” (we have two cats, one considered her’s and the other mine) had been run over by a truck.

But no, she breathlessly told me she was extremely concerned about “the brexit.” (Mind you, 24 hours earlier she knew as much about [or even the existence of] the brexit referendum as she did about string theory.) How it was gonna cause financial disaster and a worsening of “xenophobia.” I think this may have been the first time in her life that she had ever uttered the word and she even got the pronunciation perfect.

What or where was the source of this sudden concern? Well, now I realize, she was watching the left-wing Christiane Amanpour on CNN. See following article.

    http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2016/06/25/cnn-anchor-condemns-brexit-results-as-the-product-of-xenophobia-and-white-identity-politics/?utm_source=Sailthru&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Firewire%20-%20HORIZON%206-25-16%20FINAL&utm_term=Firewire

Xenophobia is a much overused word (like racist, nazi or fascist) which in practice means that people like to flock together with birds of a feather.

    • Janos Skorenzy June 25, 2016 at 1:49 pm #

Yes. Imagine if one was allowed to only say “yes” to whatever was asked. Or imagine a stick or golf club without only one end. In other words, why is there no word for the opposite, namely xenophillia, an irrational and destructive love of aliens? Or take anti-Semite: why isn’t anti-Gentile a word? Or why is being pro-Semite a good thing? And anti-Semite a bad one? Shouldn’t it depend on the person or situation? The Semites involved? But since it is demanded that we be xenophiles and pro-Semites, I simply refuse to be – and find their opposites more rational and beneficial on the whole. Of course they never SAY to be these things: they just utterly damn the opposite and the rubes flee to the opposite end to be safe. The ordinary human mind thinks in “twos” or extremes. Black and White – no shades of grays.

Likewise, if all these evil people hate Trump, he basically has to be good. Your obsession with grammar, diction, and “good form” in general is blinding you to the great virtues of this man.

What do you think of the 15 million? And know, Fred Trump told Don: we stay on our side of the river. Manhattan is their territory. Trump knows.

“In Raspail’s novel, one of the characters, an old professor steeped in European history, observes that French elites indeed lack the needed patriotic consciousness–that is, “the knowledge that one’s own is best, the triumphant joy at feeling oneself to be part of humanity’s finest.” Such pride of a people is natural, even desirable, but, as Raspail explains, it has been beaten down by decades of guilt-tripping; today, he sighs, the French are “nothing more than . . . sheep.”

The Brits will need to be tough.

Indeed. And he had another great quote, something like: That which is most fair is most fragile. Whites have thrown away their birthright for a mess of multicult pottage. Cheap labor! Spicy food! Sex with Strange Flesh!

What can I say? I don’t know. I don’t know! All I know is that the ferocity of the Seedline is what will save us now. And your tolerance doom us, even though it might be admirable in itself and at other times. Certainly the part of me that is universal agrees with you, but the practical part of me and the warrior part of me have to say nyet.

I was raised in virtue, didn’t have garlic or olive oil until I was in my 20’s. We were given huge cups of milk to drink at our meat, potatoes, and vegetables dinners – like we were starving. I used to stumble from the table, too full. At one point as a little kid as I said, “No offense gang, but I can’t take this anymore.” Henceforth I rejected the milk. I can still remember my sister staring at me as she drank from her huge glass of milk, the glass touching her glasses. So weird.

Now I have cardamom in my coffee and garlic whenever I want. And we are infested with the scum from a hundred countries. Foreign pleasures mean foreign pests. Logically it needn’t be so, but practically it often is. We could eat Chinese without having to have Chinese people. But purists object: better to have authentic Chinese food even if we lose America because of it.

          • JimInFlorida June 25, 2016 at 4:14 pm #

            Regarding authentic [ethnic] food…

Where I grew up in the Deep South, “authentic” Black Soul Food ONLY came from Black restaurants that had barely passing Health Inspection placards. If the establishment looks too clean, it’s probably a chain or not authentically Black.

If you peek back into the kitchen and see “stack cooking” with stained pots on top of each other, it’s legit soul food. If you want another biscuit, the old Black Mammy would ask, “You wannanother biscuit honey?” … Yes ma’am… then accurately tosses it to you… THAT’S legit soul food!

For some odd reason, such restaurants with barely passing Health Code placards had the best fried chicken and soul food. Segregation not only made real soul food possible but, made it into an adventure!

What used to be on the Other Side of the Tracks, should have STAYED on the other side of the tracks!

          • Janos Skorenzy June 25, 2016 at 8:08 pm #

In other words, you pays your money and you takes your chances.

Were you allowed to catch the biscuit with your hands? Or was that cheating?

Did you read “Going Home” by A American? It’s set in Florida after an EMP strike. He has to walk home across a chunk of Florida after his car stops on the interstate. Pretty good. He has to shoot a Black at one point, but the author is careful to give him a big Black friend later, a Jim to his Huck.
The book goes downhill in my book once he gets Home. He finds an ally in an old military commander who is likes to torture men’s testicles. A thoroughly unappealing character, the “man’s man” or French Foreign Legion type.

    Q. Shtik, no, I am not going to read Taleb’s book. There are no Black Swans or White Swans or Dark Gray Swans. There is only the Yellow Swan and it has landed, or left the building, if you prefer.

Nobody notices the massive Yellow Swan, and perhaps that’s because the Yellow Swan is sitting on their collective face and obscuring their view. Sometimes, something can be so large and so ubiquitous, you can’t see it, but it doesn’t mean it isn’t there — or here.

I was not actually directing you to read his book, rather I am saying that if you had you would know that Black Swans can be either positive or negative. Most people (particularly those who have not read the book) have come to think a Black Swan is by definition some terrible negative event. Just as they incorrectly think a difficult learning curve is like a steep mountain in front of them which must be climbed. Not so.

I am trying to drive this point home because the Dark Gray Swan of the brexit is going to prove to be a very positive event in the longer term.

As the British (God love ’em!) would say, “here, here!”. Just what I’ve been excoriating JHK for. He refuses to take responsibility for the mess his twice-for-obama vote has created because he just can’t admit that he’s been wrong with his insane Democrate-loving proclivities lo these many years.

JHK we have called you out, be enough of a man to admit it.

    fodase

    • JimInFlorida June 25, 2016 at 4:33 pm #

I’ll have to repeat an earlier comment.

JHK was forced to back the lesser of two evils. Have we already forgotten how the Republican Establishment RIGGED the 2008 and 2012 elections to get Obama in and keep him there???

Don’t tell me that McCain / Airhead and Mittens / Ryan were the best they could offer. It was a repeat of the Bob Dole strategy to force the most useless and insulting candidate on the Republican voters; despite the fact that organic support was behind another.

McCain and Mittens were DESIGNED to take a fall. Mainly to play the ZOG Establishment game and also to backhand the Silent Majority like a pimp to a whore he owns. Just to let both know that they can’t go anywhere else.

I’ve always voted 3rd party out of spite for the ZOG parties. I can completely understand why JHK held his nose and voted for Obama.

      • Q. Shtik June 25, 2016 at 5:05 pm #

Given the established history of The Establishment, I was quite lenient! One should NEVER discount conspiracies when faced with the awesome criminal energy of our Top 1%.

The only thing I got carried away with was asserting that JHK was forced to choose Obama as the Lesser of Two Evils.

I should have said that JHK, very likely, held his nose and voted for Obama over the others who were quite open about their reactionary Globalism.

Constitutional Monarchy from the British point of view is when there is a Queen, but there is no Constitution. (UK does not have a Constitution).

Likewise, Democracy from the English point of view, is when the demos votes as the day before was decided by the Privy Council of Her Majesty, and Brexit from this point of view means that the job is done and the EU is stuck deep in Ukraine and nothing could be done about it.

And the most interesting fact about Brexit is unpleasant surprise that in the first few hours could not be hidden by the Clintonites, as well as the fact that they tried to comfort themselves by inventing Sanders willingness to accept Hillary as the only nominee of US Democratic Party.

In the first few hours after the unexpected news when the media does not know what to lie, many things become clear. In particular, it was absolutely clear that the Clintonites’ surprise was due precisely to the fact that they immediately realized that they were not setup by the “British Street”, but by the Privy Council of Her Majesty.

The reaction of the EU officials to Brexit clearly shown that the Germans again got their Teutonic blood up, and for them Englishmen are now the barbarians and pagans, filthy Ordnung violators, and we now will see the full Anglo-Saxon fireworks in honor of return of Ahnenerbe, the Entente and even Vineta to the Continent.

This means that the Party of War will have an uphill battle with Sanders on the Convention.

And well, you know that Trump traveled to Scotland, no less successfully than Bernie Sanders to Rome.

A Learning Curve is something we ski down, effortlessly. As Lao Tzu said, the Great Learning is forgetting. If you know all about say a cat, you can’t see the cat anymore. You only see your “larnin'”. Clean your widows of perception and everything will appear as it is, infinite.

If you suddenly become frightened of your cat, you know you are on the right track.

    • elysianfield June 26, 2016 at 12:07 pm #

” If you know all about say a cat, you can’t see the cat anymore. You only see your “larnin’”.

Sooo, absolute ignorance brings infinite clarity?

      • Janos Skorenzy June 26, 2016 at 2:27 pm #

So you conflate communing with the essence of the cat with ignorance? Careful, that path leads to becoming George Will. Read the Cloud of Unknowing if you want to know more (less). As has been said, small learning leads away from God. Great Learning leads back to Him. If you can still your mind without going to sleep, you will enter into the world of essences – or things as He made them. Every leaf and blade of glass will be on fire with God as Thomas Traherne said. Not a theory but an experience.

And yes, getting high will help you get there naturally afterwards. You’ll know the path. You’ll be a Man of Knowledge as Casteneda’s Don Juan said.

        • elysianfield June 26, 2016 at 7:03 pm #

“So you conflate communing with the essence of the cat with ignorance? ”

No, but you seem to indicate that a lack of knowledge, or preconception, provides only the visual reality, empty of preconception, and unknowing of essence. I know I am crippled by my lifetime choice of reading material, my agnosticism, and failure to use drugs…so I will have to stick with reality, and will never understand the essence.

Finding God in every blade of grass would appear as a State of Grace, and would, one would expect, be beatific…however I am haunted by the sage words of Tommy Chong…

“I used to be fucked up on drugs, and then I found Jesus…Now I’m all fucked up on Jesus….

Trump has little in common with them. Trump cannot speak in public without flubbing… unless he reads from a prepared script. If he sticks to the teleprompter he is able to read the words… but not deliver oratory anywhere near Obama.

It is possible Trump inherited $200 million and is now worth less than $200 million. A failed businessman. We will know when he releases his tax forms, but it appears Trump is asset-rich and cash-poor. That would explain his inability to “self-fund” … he needs money. But even with money he seems incapable of running a campaign or developing a ground game or speaking intelligently off-script.

George Will has changed his voter registration in Maryland from Republican to “unaffiliated” making George Will and Q on the same page. George Will has abandoned the Republican Party. Or it abandoned him by supporting a New York liberal like Trump.

One presidential candidate wants to end loopholes for the “very rich.” He’s against trade deals that allow foreign “sweatshops” to steal American jobs. He backs “prevailing wages” for U.S. positions filled by foreigners with special visas. He supports universal health-care coverage and an “individual mandate.” And he says he’s the guy to rebuild America, a job that could cost hundreds of billions of tax dollars.

Bernie Sanders? Hillary Clinton? Nah. Try Donald Trump. The Republican Party hasn’t fielded a candidate who departs so much from conservative economic orthodoxy since Richard Nixon in 1972.

Brexit is a non-issue, not a dark grey swan. The dream of a united Europe goes back a ways. Maybe some of you don’t remember the “common market” (1957) to unite the European countries. There are still 27 countries after England leaves… if England leaves. There is no binding legal process to force Cameron to invoke article 50 to leave the EU.

    • FincaInTheMountains June 25, 2016 at 5:32 pm #

The parameters of Hitler’s united Europe featured demographic harmony, economic self-sufficiency, and efficient wealth distribution. It took the combined forces of many countries to put Germany back under the banksters’ thumb.

Completely the opposite of the ZOG-E.U. Matrix. The ZOG-E.U is groveling to its bankster masters and flogging itself with racial pollution for the sake of an alien and insane demigod called, “DIVERSITY.”

Preventing the formation of a strong continental alliance is a thousand-year old policy of England, which it inherited from the Vikings, one of which was Rurik.

England joined the European Union to ruin it from within, which is an implementation of the traditional British policy and I would even say an English identity. And if the union of France + Germany + Netherlands means a strong continental alliance, and if you add to this mix Italy and Spain, the union of a less powerful, and if you add Poland, the Baltic states, Romania and Greece, it turns out the loose congregation which sooner or later gets slapped by a clawed paw of the Russian Bear.

“do you actually believe the unemployment numbers?” –Reagan

Why shouldn’t they be believed? The same criteria are being used now that were used during the Bush years, so a comparison is valid. Do you know how unemployment is defined? It is so simple a third grader can grasp it:

    1) People with jobs are employed.

    2) People who are jobless, looking for a job, and available for work are unemployed.

    3) The labor force is made up of the employed and the unemployed.

    4) People who are neither employed nor unemployed are not in the labor force.

What do you have a problem with, Reagan, that makes you suspicious?

    • JimInFlorida June 25, 2016 at 7:31 pm #

Jimmy Carter was destroyed by honest unemployment and inflation numbers.

When Reagan came to power, his flunkies started the process of massaging the numbers so that it will be IMPOSSIBLE to post either a 10% unemployment OR inflation number. Every Administration after Reagan has gamed the statistical modeling to keep the numbers in the single digits.

To assert that somebody is “employed” while working one hour a week a lie by way of statistics. It is no secret that millions are off the books because they maxed out their unemployment and still can’t find a real job.

Here is a better metric to determine who is really employed. If somebody can earn enough money to pay rent, utilities, and food WITHOUT NEEDING ANY GOVERNMENT OR PRIVATE CHARITY ASSISTANCE, then they are truly employed. If their job is a payroll position, and covered by all Labor, Wage, Ethics, and Safety laws, then they are truly employed.

That would mean that the U.S. has an EFFECTIVE unemployment rate of over 60%.

Dream on, finca. Russia is a minor regional player and has not touched western Europe since 1945… that is 70+ years now without using its powerless paw.

The EU is a reality, with or without England. England will have a messy negotiation to try to get out of contracts and trade deals. Don’t expect it to happen any time soon. Don’t expect Russia to mess with NATO. Putin is peeing in his pants and trembling with fear, and is still being punished by Europe and the USA for his criminal Crimean transgressions. Geez, WPA, you got me on a technicality. The fact remains, tho, the Pres. of UCONN, Susan Herbst, is pulling down some pretty serious swag. And why not? They are but Gods, these high ranking govt. functionaries, ‘specially ones in the university system. To see her pass by in her 40 ft limo, chauffeured by a smartly uniformed state trooper … its beyond words, indescribable, rapturous … you even savor the mud splashed on you. As for me, a mere serf, my job is to make my quarterly income tax payments in order to keep these luminaries living in the high manner to which they’ve grown accustom.

Like I said, if it was up to me NOBODY working for the state would earn more than $150,000 (total, including “bonuses,” etc.) because I don’t think anyone needs to earn more than the chief executive officer of the state, the governor of Connecticut.

On a different note, in New Haven, the woman eaten by a pit bull is already out of the news. What replaced it is a bad batch of heroin and addicts are dropping like flies all over the city. A state of emergency has been declared. 2 dead so far, many more emergency cases.

I think if they were here today, and had to deal with the human material described above, they might have their work cut out for them. Maybe it would be an impossible task and they would have to just walk away.

A massive wildfire burning out of control in the foothills of central California has left at least 150 homes in ruins and damaged another 75.

But, according to Trump, California does not have a drought, there is plenty of water, and global warming is a hoax.

    • San Jose June 25, 2016 at 10:20 pm #

In San Jose this year we came within .5 inches to the normal annual rainfall. We have fires in the summer because with our normal weather pattern, it simply doesn’t rain between May and October. Sometimes fires are worse in years where there is a surplus of water because everything grows like crazy, and when it dries out it provides fuel for the fires.

      Jen

  127. wpa_ccc June 25, 2016 at 10:48 pm #

Jen, global warming is real. The planet is heating up and there are demonstrable consequences.

According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, in 2015 there were 10 weather and climate disaster events in the United States—including severe storms, floods, drought, and wildfires—that caused at least $1 billion in losses. For context, each year from 1980 to 2015 averaged $5.2 billion in disasters (adjusted for inflation). If you zero in on the years between 2011 and 2015, you see an annual average cost of $10.8 billion.

California has led the country in adopting a forward thinking clean energy framework, and San José’s Green Vision is probably ahead of the rest of the country in recognizing the dual purpose and promise of clean technology and carbon avoidance into the future. San Jose is an early adopter for technological innovation. Silicon Valley is a leader.

“From compact fluorescent lights (CFLs) to electric vehicles (EV), from smart grid technologies and building efficiency technologies to next generation photovoltaics (PV), biofuels, advanced lighting technologies and construction materials, companies are fast at work across Silicon Valley incubating, demonstrating, and conducting early stage manufacturing and creating go-to-market strategies for the next generation of clean goods.” (How Clean Tech Jobs are related to Climate Change in San Jose, CA)

    • JimInFlorida June 26, 2016 at 9:58 pm #

ALL of this “green” high tech BS is environmentally toxic. All we’re doing is “greenwashing” more consumption while offshoring all the nasty manufacturing to China. ALL of the examples you propose represent too much techno-bullshit chasing too few legitimate functions in society.

The CFL’s require more manufacturing than the old-fashioned incandescents. Plus, they are toxic because of the mercury in them. They don’t last as long as was promised. The alleged energy savings will never make up for the negative externalities.

Smart grid is just more computer BS chasing the same problems, introducing new complexities, a new way for Big Brother to watch us, and just another thing to break. The energy and material investment baked in to all these toys will never pay for itself.

Which uses less energy OVER THE LIFE OF THE VEHICLE? A super high tech Electric car, with massive amounts of upfront energy and material investment baked into it before it drives its first mile? OR… the modest energy and material input to restore a ’62 Ford Falcon? Hell, I’ll even wager that restoring AND DRIVING a ’72 Chevy Impala will use MUCH less energy over its lifespan than what went into the high tech Electric car that hasn’t even left the dealer’s lot!

We are reflexively taught to chant the mantra that high tech solves all problems and can’t see the massive damage being done. Millions of jobs lost due to automation and offshoring, thanks to computers.

A truly environmental economy would break up all these giant corporations, break up the giant corporate farms, and get all the people involved in making stuff in-house. The U.S. economy is largely unproductive and wastes its human and energy resources in Bread and Circuses, McJobs, and countless rackets designed to feed a rapacious and parasitic Top 1%. Productivity doesn’t need to be increased but distributed so that production and consumption are more closely tied. That will cut out a lot of the waste and resulting environmental damage.

26 million trees have died in the Sierra since October, raising fire risk

A lethal combination of drought, heat and voracious bark beetles has killed 26 million trees in the Sierra Nevada over the last eight months — an alarming finding for a state already raging with wildfires fueled by desiccated landscapes.

The dire estimate offered Wednesday by federal officials brings the loss of trees since 2010 to at least 66 million, a number that is expected to increase considerably throughout the year, despite an average winter of rain and snow that brought some relief to urban Californians.

“Tree dies-offs of this magnitude are unprecedented and increase the risk of catastrophic wildfires that puts property and lives at risk,” Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said in a statement.

U.S. Forest officials say 40 million trees died between 2010 and late 2015. In October, Gov. Jerry Brown declared a state of emergency and formed a tree-mortality task force to help mobilize additional resources for the safe removal of fallen and dying trees.

The latest number was reached after a May survey of six southern Sierra counties: Fresno, Kern, Madera, Mariposa, Tuolumne and Tulare.

The Forest Service, which spent more than half its budget last year on fire management, plans to conduct additional surveys on tree mortality throughout the summer and fall.

Oh, how George Will wailed, denouncing Trump from the get-go. Shaking his head in dismay, he described Trump as this “boorish man”, as if Trump were to come near him the fragile facade of his cultivated conservatism would crumble.

This pusillanimous puff of pastry rivals that éclair of egg heads, Carl Rove, in crawling into his own conservative cubby-hole. Doesn’t he recognize that many of Trump’s positions are conservative?

This bespectacled bubble head, this Buckley wannabe, out of Oxford and out of Princeton, has the academic credentials but none of the manly essentials. Trump is the mirror reflecting his unmanliness, and he’s also pissing on the worn out carpet of his conservatism.

A bilge rat of a Republican, he now deserts the ship and scurries off into some will o’ the wisp corner of what he thinks is his conservative nobility. A putrid, toxic rat who would help bring down the nation only because he saw himself in Trump’s mirror.

    WPA above:

Dream on, finca. Russia is a minor regional player and has not touched western Europe since 1945… that is 70+ years now without using its powerless paw…
Don’t expect Russia to mess with NATO. Putin is peeing in his pants and trembling with fear, and is still being punished by Europe and the USA for his criminal Crimean transgressions. Russia is considerably weaker thanks to Putin and his organized crime mafia.

What is the origin of the “minor regional player” newspeak? I recall Obama saying it early in his administration but, fresh from a career as a community organizer his depth of knowledge of foreign affairs was, well, Trumpian at that stage of his presidency. So he was taking his talking points from some other source — and no shame in that by the way. It is absurd to expect “the leader of the Free World” to arrive on the scene not only omnipotent but omniscient.

I detect the odor of the NeoCons in the State Dept.

Not sure about You WPA, but any nation with the capability to annihilate North America is not a minor regional player. Janos and I exchanged comments way above on the metrics of nuclear devices and I offered this link: http://www.atomicarchive.com/Effects/effects1.shtml

Now perhaps the Russians are just fooling the West as they apparently fooled the CIA back in the Soviet days, but are you willing to take that risk? I’m sure at some point you wrote that words/ideas have consequences. Adopting that Neo-Con phrase obviously intended as insult puts you in their camp, which is at 180 degree variance with the bulk of your ideology. You sound like a warmonger.

    Panic among Clintonites

All channels, democratic and republican alike, say that Brexit is a revolt against the establishment, which will inevitably jump across the ocean and bring victory to Trump (the latter only say Republican channels, of course). And the US media are indignant when such statements are being made by the European media, claiming that the revolt against the establishment began in the United States, and it came down to that Brexit is now called a manifestation of Trampism.

And the democratic media say that the Democratic Party program, which is being prepared for the Convention, showing the growing influence of Bernie Sanders, I would say that if this program will be adoped the Democratic Party will become the party of Bernie Sanders.

It seems that Hillary told him: “You could take the party to yourself, just let me to the red button and accept me as nominee” (And she’ll just hang him later.) And the most striking thing is that in spite of all these concessions, Sanders still has not acknowledged her as a nominee!

It seems the only thing that could save the power in the hands of the Western establishment is war today and now, and the fact that it is still not happening, says that the coup of Hillary Clinton succeeded in seizing control of the White House, but failed to seize control of the Pentagon.

The fact that diplomats desire war, and the Pentagon and the defense industry strongly oppose this desire is beyond doubt one of the most amazing “achievements” of Hillary Clinton – Wargasm in its pure form.

And now it is clear that US Necons, the bureaucracy of the European Union and NATO – are the three sides of the same coin. (However topologically impossible proposition)

The “National interest” went so far that said that if the dog fights between the Russian and American pilots will still happen in Syria, it would mean a conscious decision of the American establishment (Hillary Clinton?) to slam the door behind her, starting at least a local war with Russia.

More and more every day, whether he’s witting to it or not, Trump is playing the perfect foil for a Hillary win in the General Election. If it was the plan all along, it’s absolutely brilliant. I’ll even say it had me fooled for a while. Early on, I thought it was a plan hatched by The Clintons in collaboration with Trump, then, as he got rolling, I thought he was legit, but now I’m back to thinking his job was to neutralize any viable Republican Contenders and then look like a complete fool in the General Election.

Bill Holter offers an interesting twist on the Brexit vote. Good lawyers never ask a question the answer to which they already do not know. Likewise, the political elites would never have offered up the opportunity if they did not know the outcome. Now that they have Brexit they will be able to point to it as the reason for the dissolution of the system ( by which Holter and Jim Sinclair mean primarily the inevitable popping of the sovereign debt bubble/credit collapse) and thus place responsibility on the democratic rabble.

Now that they see the jig might be up, the grift might be coming to an end, expect them to loot and steal everything they can get their hands on between now and the time the whole goddam thing goes down in flames. Don’t be surprised if more than a few convert to Islam, weasels that they are.

Islam (and Muslims) belong in the Middle East where it historically belongs. Inside their own world where they have their established order. Islam does not belong in the West or in nominally “Christian” nations. Islam maintains bloody borders and those borders like to feed upon willfully ignorant Christians and Jewish NGO’s that routinely betray their hosts for profit.

Muslims have NO RESPECT for infidels who drop their guard and invite them in. There would be mutual respect between the West and the Islamic world if Muslims were projectile vomited out of the West and sent back to where they came from! I would also have no problem if Muslims threw out our corporations and made the West return and negotiate with them as sovereigns of their lands.

I bet there are a lot of things you would have no problem with, JIF. Would you have no problem with returning to a time when “women” knew their place and abided by the natural role God gave them?

I’m inferring, or maybe you’re implying, that you have no problem with Tyranny per se, so long as it’s decentralized and localized. And this, for everyone with more than a brain stem up top, is The Mentality that’s ready to fill the Power Vacuum in America when/if it collapses, so if you don’t plan for its inevitability, it will be inevitable.

When law breaks down, if it does, and it’s a free-for-all, the most noble thing any Warrior could do is to dedicate himself/herself to the elimination/neutralization of every Wannabe Warlord who attempts to fill the Power Vacuum.

Russia: Live TV aired the Pogrom of anti-Putin Putsch Conspiracy

For whom and why were cleaning up and preparing Russian Academy of Science (RAS)? Perhaps part of the elite was trying to create a structure of parallel government in Russia. Very nice, and I think correctly: its people could meet absolutely private, under the “scientific” pretext and not causing any suspicion and, very importantly, all at once.

RAS was destined to become a new Kremlin, only more powerful.

Horizontal contacts of different security services, various agencies and ministries, part of the the Kremlin administration itself would be perfectly justified to meet in their “scientific activities for the benefit of the country” and most importantly, totally bypassing the Kremlin. Fighting internal systems, in which the Kremlin would be doomed to failure without even realizing where it is coming from.

Consensus between various elite groups is needed just-in-time, rather than on the next day, and not on the phone, which the Motherland is overhearing and writing down.

All the important and fundamental questions are settled only in person and a platform for inter-elite conspiracy would become RAS. For toppling Putin regime were needed these strong horizontal lines of informal direct communication outside the state machine and if they could be established and strengthen, then no KGB or National Guard would help the regime.
